Transcript
- 0:00All right, what's up, everyone? We have had a day to recoup since the election.
- 0:05I would say the dust has settled.
- 0:07Donald Trump is going to be the next president. I don't know if y'all heard
- 0:11that yet, but he is. I think a lot of people have mixed emotions.
- 0:15To me, it does not seem as catastrophic as I expected. I thought we were stepping into Armageddon.
- 0:2610, 9, 8, 7. Welcome to the Brandon Fogel Show.
- 0:31Every moment is an electrifying event.
- 0:35This is not just a podcast. It's a revolution of thought. Unfiltered, real and raw.
- 0:40The Brandon Fogel Show. Where excellence meets evolution.
- 0:44Two. One. This is the Brandon Fogel Show.
- 0:51I mean, if we got anything from the media outlets and from both campaigns,
- 0:57Donald Trump's campaign, as well as Kamala Harris's campaign,
- 1:00as well as the White House, the White House itself.
- 1:03Because if you saw Karine Jean-Pierre, known as Binder, the White House press
- 1:08secretary for the current Biden administration,
- 1:11when she took the podium today and she answered some questions,
- 1:14what was brought to her was, based on what we had coming up to this point and
- 1:19what you had been saying.
- 1:21That if Donald Trump is elected, it is the end of civilization.
- 1:25We're not going to be able to go on as the United States.
- 1:28And, but now you're saying that you are going to work with him and you're going
- 1:32to welcome him into the white house.
- 1:33How does that, how does that line up? How does that go together?
- 1:36And I think as just regular observers and normal Americans,
- 1:41normal us citizens, I think we can gather from this that in politics,
- 1:46it is almost Hollywood itself. It is entertainment.
- 1:50It is WWE. It is a show. It is a drama.
- 1:54It is a soap opera. It has so many different elements, but when we actually
- 1:58get down into it, they're just regular people.
- 2:00They're real people and they just are just clawing for jobs.
- 2:04They want to win on their side. And when things don't go the way as planned,
- 2:10it's still, we got to keep going.
- 2:11It's not that everything, we're setting off the revolution and we're going to start civil war.
- 2:17We're going to just go fighting each other, abandon all societal values to killing each other.
- 2:22No, they are regular people. it's a show. It's all a show. And I think that we can gather from that.
- 2:29Both sides, they, they amp up rhetoric. It's all about rhetoric. And we've.
- 2:34The first time I really even noticed in hearing about rhetoric and kind of dialing
- 2:38it down and bringing it down, don't make it such a big deal, was Barack Obama.
- 2:42He said, let's bring down the rhetoric as in you're evil. We're good.
- 2:47We got to eliminate the evil.
- 2:49It's like when we're thinking like that, where we're just saying that other
- 2:52side is evil and wrong as just a regular conversation, it mischaracterizes what is actually happening.
- 2:59And I think we just need to realize that if they did dial down the rhetoric,
- 3:04it would not be as exciting. It would not be as like, it would not tug at people's
- 3:09heartstrings as much as they want it to.
- 3:13And as we honestly want it to, it's just like, as in a news, if it bleeds, it leads.
- 3:19You turn on the nightly news and you have to have something exciting to watch.
- 3:23Otherwise people are going to zone out.
- 3:25People have to say the craziest things so that they get eyeballs.
- 3:29You see, that's why people want to watch NASCAR for the most part,
- 3:32or indie racing. They want to see the crashes.
- 3:34They want to go to hockey games and see people fighting. And I think if we've
- 3:38learned anything, and this is going to, it's not going to change.
- 3:40It's not going to change the next election cycle. It's not going to change future campaigns.
- 3:45People are still going to do the most crazy outlandish things possible and put
- 3:50that out there so that people watch and tune in and that they buy in to your
- 3:56cause. So it's not going to change that.
- 3:58And it was clearly communicated by Kareem Jean-Pierre Binder,
- 4:03you know, but we do have some footage, some breaking footage of Donald Trump
- 4:08accepting the presidency.
- 4:10He has been held back for the last four years, just chomping at the bits,
- 4:14wanting to get back into politics, back into the limelight.
- 4:17Or you could say he's never left the limelight for some time now, you could say.
- 4:21So I needed to bring this up. I needed to bring up a couple things.
- 4:25I don't know if you've been paying attention, but there have been a lot of meltdowns
- 4:29happening across the nation.
- 4:31You know, and people, when people, people have access to phones,
- 4:34they have access to YouTube and TikTok and everything that are they able to
- 4:38put themselves out there?
- 4:40And something I've just wondered, because I did not want to be a person that
- 4:44relished in other people's misfortunes and other people's just heartbrokenness, you know?
- 4:51But why do they do it? Why do they do it?
- 4:55Why are people, and maybe you'll see me tomorrow putting out a video like that. I don't know.
- 5:00But like why people take a recording themselves and just screaming and just
- 5:04crying. Are they wanting just sympathy?
- 5:07Are they wanting an Oscar?
- 5:10Are they wanting to just have popularity? Do they want to become a meme?
- 5:15I'm honestly asking this.
- 5:17Why do people create those videos of themselves doing that?
- 5:21Because Trump, he did not just win the electoral college this time.
- 5:27He did something that has not been done since 2004 with George Bush,
- 5:32a Republican winning the popular vote.
- 5:35The most people voted for him. That's something.
- 5:40That's something. Something. We don't want to ridicule and make fun of people
- 5:44that are just heartbroken and in turmoil because it doesn't matter what you've
- 5:49been fed. They really see the world like this.
- 5:52They see, and they've been fed this. The same people that are going to just
- 5:56completely move forward and go to the next election.
- 5:59The next job opportunity that they can have, they have left a wake of people
- 6:04just in tears and heartbroken because they fed them that Donald Trump is Hitler.
- 6:09It's the end of civilization as we know it. There's never going to be decency
- 6:13or it's almost like they've made it seem like they're going to be wiped out,
- 6:17that their values are going to be completely wiped out.
- 6:20And a lot of the things that they are just standing on a hill and dying on are
- 6:25not things that trump even campaigned on They're just things that people just
- 6:30threw at him and said that he's going to do away with these things and do away
- 6:34with their way of life There are some things that he just doesn't care live and let live,
- 6:39you know And that's the mindset of what trump has been about There's people
- 6:42that have got alongside trump and are going to try to like get him to go off
- 6:47track and get their agenda done But Donald Trump,
- 6:51his agenda is solely to make America good and great and firing on all cylinders
- 6:57and just, he's all about business and the economy doing well and making people
- 7:02money, lifting everybody up.
- 7:04That's what he is all about. A lot of the social issues that people are mainly
- 7:09concerned about with him, he's not like completely dialed in on and just saying,
- 7:15this is the way it's going to be and I'm going to change everything.
- 7:18There are certain things, you know, the right of pro-life, right to life, and all of that.
- 7:23That is something that's non-negotiable. You know, that is something that he
- 7:26absolutely cares about and he's going to do for our country and making people...
- 7:31The children in the womb protected, you know, but things about like LGBTQ and
- 7:37all that and transgenderism, you know, that people let people do what they want.
- 7:42The thing that is really that concerns him is
- 7:46the transgenderism when we are imposing it
- 7:49upon children and changing their genders when they're not to an age that they
- 7:55can make the decision for themselves that they're not at an age that their brain
- 8:00has been formed enough to realize that if they mutilate themselves and change
- 8:05their gender when they're, you know, 13 years old,
- 8:08they're going to have to live with that the rest of their life.
- 8:11When you become the legal age that you can make that decisions,
- 8:14you know, live and let live.
- 8:15If you want to do that, you can, you do that, you know, but it did not become Armageddon.
- 8:20I think everybody, the temperature has been brought down. It is not as crazy
- 8:26as we thought it was going to be.
- 8:27We thought like we were stepping into the next civil war.
- 8:31And honestly, it felt like that. It felt like that from both campaigns and from
- 8:37both sides and from all the media.
- 8:39Hey, I'm going to pull the wool out of your eyes and let you realize it's a
- 8:43show. They want entertainment.
- 8:45You know, they understand what's going to get eyes, what's going to get people.
- 8:48Their heartstrings pulled to that side.
- 8:50I said no. So, yesterday, Kamala Harris, she did do her concession speech.
- 8:57You know, people are criticizing her because she didn't immediately concede
- 9:01and didn't immediately call President Trump to congratulate him in just respecting
- 9:05the decision of the American people.
- 9:07She didn't immediately do that. And she didn't do that early morning on November
- 9:116th, but it came in the afternoon later in the day that she came out.
- 9:16And you would have thought she had won the election,
- 9:20based how she came out there on stage. When I watched it and it was a very good
- 9:26speech, it was a very good speech, a very raw, raw speech,
- 9:30a very uniting speech to her supporters, to everybody on the left side,
- 9:36realizing that most of the people out there are just completely heartbroken.
- 9:40It was a uniting speech and I thought it was great. It was so great that I almost
- 9:45question whether she was too heartbroken over in the first place.
- 9:49It seemed like she was just almost relieved that she's not going to be president.
- 9:56And it's almost like she could take it or leave it. And then President Biden
- 10:00today came out and he gave his message.
- 10:02You could see he had a spring in his step. He almost jogged to the podium.
- 10:08He was also smiles ear to ear. You know, he's going to go down in history as
- 10:13undefeated against Donald Trump.
- 10:16You know, he won that first election. He won that and he got pulled out from
- 10:20this one and was not able to be the person that represented the Democratic Party
- 10:24going into the election this time.
- 10:25So you could see he was almost like, you guys should have kept me.
- 10:29You guys should have kept me, which I don't think it would have made that much
- 10:32of a difference. But I think he would have done better than Kamala.
- 10:35So either way, I'm happy.
- 10:37I'm happy that they threw Kamala in there because we have Donald Trump,
- 10:43the next four years of Donald Trump.
- 10:45And I know a lot of people don't like that now, but I think a lot of people
- 10:50are going to come around and a lot of people are going to see when things start
- 10:54getting better financially, economically.
- 10:58And Donald Trump actually making a difference in the cost of groceries,
- 11:03the cost of living, everything going down and their wages going up.
- 11:08And now that Donald Trump has an amazing team alongside him now,
- 11:14such better than he did the first time go around.
- 11:17So either way, I think it is a brighter day in America today and things are
- 11:24going to get better each day as we go along. We'll leave it at that.
- 11:28Let's just go, everybody. Let's go, baby. Brace yourself.
- 11:32Music.
- 11:34Are you ready for it? Are you ready?
- 11:40Are you ready for it? Coming in high, won't stop. Are you ready or not?
- 11:47Ready or not? Ready or not?
- 11:55Coming in, I won't stop, are you ready now?
