- 0:05Speaker 1: Drama, Darling.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Drama, Darling.
- 0:13Speaker 3: Drama, Darling, Hello, what's up everybody?
- 0:21Speaker 2: And welcome back in, which welcome in is everywhere? It's insane,
- 0:26Speaker 2: how well, how much it's just taken on like a plague.
- 0:30Speaker 2: And joining me is Jamie Moyer to talk about Atlanta.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Welcome in, Jamie, welcome in.
- 0:36Speaker 1: You're right, I can't stop hearing welcome in.
- 0:38Speaker 2: No, it's kind of like I feel like I started it,
- 0:41Speaker 2: you know. I mean, I was onto this trend over
- 0:43Speaker 2: a year ago and now it is just I mean,
- 0:47Speaker 2: I didn't make it up, just noticing.
- 0:49Speaker 1: You noticed it, and you are starting a wave across
- 0:53Speaker 1: the nation with your beautiful darlings where we're all noticing
- 0:57Speaker 1: it and we'll continue to notice it, and that's how
- 1:00Speaker 1: movement starts.
- 1:01Speaker 3: Thank you, too bad.
- 1:03Speaker 2: It really doesn't add up to anything positive, you know,
- 1:08Speaker 2: my efforts just completely anyway.
- 1:10Speaker 1: That's not true. It's the effort and the positivity is
- 1:15Speaker 1: politeness and kindness and made the world see a little
- 1:18Speaker 1: more of that.
- 1:19Speaker 2: Sam's Sister's sister Amen. By the way, this is the
- 1:26Speaker 2: finale of Freaking Atlanta. I was happy to hear there's
- 1:31Speaker 2: going to be It's a three episode reunion. I was shocked,
- 1:38Speaker 2: but I was happy because Atlanta deserves it. I don't
- 1:41Speaker 2: care what kind of season they have, you know what
- 1:42Speaker 2: I mean? They need to have the three. I mean,
- 1:44Speaker 2: they've been around. They If they're docked one reunion episode,
- 1:48Speaker 2: I would just feel like it isn't right.
- 1:50Speaker 3: How do you feel about that?
- 1:52Speaker 1: I'm glad we have three. I'm in that. I'm in
- 1:54Speaker 1: a very the minority camp of saying this was an
- 1:58Speaker 1: excellent season of twists and turns and what an episode
- 2:03Speaker 1: this last episode.
- 2:04Speaker 3: Oh god, yeah great, So I.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Agree three night reunion is good minus britt Edie not
- 2:13Speaker 1: going to be there.
- 2:16Speaker 2: And Kenya so just crazy that they even have. Well listen,
- 2:21Speaker 2: this is where Faedra is going to make the money
- 2:23Speaker 2: that she made because for the amount of episodes that
- 2:26Speaker 2: she wasn't in when we were waiting so patiently for
- 2:29Speaker 2: her forever. She will now show up for three reunions
- 2:33Speaker 2: and it'll be so many like phadrisms and fun and
- 2:37Speaker 2: all that good stuff. But agreed, agreed this episode, well
- 2:41Speaker 2: welcome in games. You just have a cute little pep
- 2:48Speaker 2: in your step today, don't sut?
- 2:49Speaker 1: You just oh, you know what life's meant to be lived.
- 2:53Speaker 2: And we both are wearing like we're matching kind of
- 2:55Speaker 2: black and white, and I'm excited about that. So right
- 3:00Speaker 2: this and I'm sorry, Like, okay, let's just plow through
- 3:04Speaker 2: the beginning and then we'll get to the end.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Let's just take care of that, Okay.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Okay, first of all, I mean I did I did
- 3:13Speaker 2: call it? Did I not about Phaedra helping with Londi's
- 3:17Speaker 2: funeral arrangements? And some I said it, didn't I say it? Okay,
- 3:22Speaker 2: I just want everybody to know I wasn't being insensitive,
- 3:26Speaker 2: but needless to say, Phaedra was thrilled and she should be.
- 3:30Speaker 2: That's her business. And this is you know, when two
- 3:33Speaker 2: things come together like that, And boy, oh boy, this
- 3:36Speaker 2: Londi thing is just hitting hard. It is so hard
- 3:39Speaker 2: because she obviously was so close with Porsha clearly Shimia
- 3:43Speaker 2: as well, such a huge member of their family and
- 3:46Speaker 2: a huge member of Porscha's team, you know, I mean,
- 3:51Speaker 2: she lost not only a family member and a friend,
- 3:53Speaker 2: but a probably incredible uh strategist and planner and business
- 4:00Speaker 2: person for her entire.
- 4:01Speaker 1: Right hand woman, right hand woman, probably did everything like
- 4:05Speaker 1: that right hand woman for Porsche and also just a
- 4:08Speaker 1: positive light. And you know, we have seen Landi on
- 4:10Speaker 1: so many episodes over the years, really sad, poor Porsche.
- 4:14Speaker 1: And then I thought it was fascinating how Porscha was like,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I'm not going to get into this Smia stuff right now,
- 4:22Speaker 1: and I was like, hopefully, that to me is like
- 4:25Speaker 1: a you know, precursor for disaster.
- 4:27Speaker 2: It is because the second you put that on ice,
- 4:31Speaker 2: it's going to freeze up and go to the back
- 4:33Speaker 2: of the refrigerator and start getting freezer burn and then
- 4:37Speaker 2: it's done.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Your throat out.
- 4:39Speaker 1: Have you noticed how food's going bad sooner these years? Oh?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Interesting, ie goes way in the fridge freezer.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I feel like, especially in the fridge, I feel like
- 4:51Speaker 1: my food is going bad sooner than it used to.
- 4:54Speaker 2: You know, that could be because like time goes faster
- 4:57Speaker 2: when you're older.
- 4:59Speaker 3: Interesting, So that's what I might.
- 5:01Speaker 2: I might say that because it's not like there's a
- 5:03Speaker 2: lack of preservatives and things or the other thing is
- 5:06Speaker 2: you're just eating healthier whole foods and they don't have
- 5:09Speaker 2: longer expiration dates.
- 5:11Speaker 1: No, definitely not bad, Like chocolate puddings are going going
- 5:19Speaker 1: bad sooner.
- 5:22Speaker 2: You know, you gotta check those expiration dates when you're
- 5:24Speaker 2: at the grocery store, because they will put them, they'll
- 5:26Speaker 2: put the oldest ones in the front.
- 5:28Speaker 1: I noticed that as well. All right back on track, Yes,
- 5:32Speaker 1: time is moving quickly.
- 5:34Speaker 2: I love that little break, a little shout out for
- 5:37Speaker 2: expiration days. That just takes me to that one commercial.
- 5:42Speaker 2: I don't know if I think it's Geico, but they
- 5:44Speaker 2: always renew it. And it's when the aunt is at
- 5:47Speaker 2: the house of the Nissan her wife, I mean her husband,
- 5:52Speaker 2: and she's cleaning out the refrigerator and she's.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Like expired, expired. I love that.
- 5:58Speaker 2: And Maddie like, we've been following that commercial for years
- 6:01Speaker 2: and so whenever it comes on, she's like expired anyway,
- 6:08Speaker 2: all right, So Phaedra's like everybody knows. I'm chairman of
- 6:11Speaker 2: the usher board for Heaven.
- 6:18Speaker 1: Yes.
- 6:20Speaker 2: Homegoing. I don't know what a homegoing is, but that
- 6:23Speaker 2: sounds so southern to me. It's like, not even funny,
- 6:26Speaker 2: how southern that sounds? Yeah, really nice.
- 6:28Speaker 1: I have heard that term homecoming when it comes.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Home to she say homecoming or homegoing. It sounded like
- 6:34Speaker 2: a homegoing.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I'd maybe she did say homegoing back. I feel like
- 6:38Speaker 1: I've heard homecoming at funerals when I was back in Detroit,
- 6:42Speaker 1: where it'll be like we had a nice homecoming for him, right, Oh,
- 6:47Speaker 1: so interesting, it's you know, it's a goodbye.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Let me see here.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Home going service is a Christian memorial service, oh particularly
- 6:57Speaker 2: within the African American community, that celebrates the deceased going
- 7:01Speaker 2: home to heaven. It's a joyous occasion that focuses on
- 7:05Speaker 2: the belief that the person's soul has returned to God,
- 7:08Speaker 2: rather than a purely somber event. These services often incorporate music, singing, eulogies,
- 7:13Speaker 2: and tributes, and may be held in a church or
- 7:15Speaker 2: other place of worship. That makes so much sense. And
- 7:19Speaker 2: you know, I think the wording that we use now
- 7:23Speaker 2: is a more beautiful way to welcome in the next.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Life because.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Instead of like welcome out, it's like home going, like
- 7:33Speaker 2: you're going somewhere else. And remember when Phadri said, oh,
- 7:37Speaker 2: you were on the phone when she transitioned. It's not
- 7:40Speaker 2: like you're on the phone when she died. Yeah, it's
- 7:45Speaker 2: just a lighter It's so much better for like the
- 7:49Speaker 2: family to take that those words in than something that's
- 7:53Speaker 2: so abrupt to say, I don't know in those moments,
- 7:56Speaker 2: it feels like it's helpful.
- 7:57Speaker 1: I agree, you know, yeah, you need those little little
- 8:02Speaker 1: things to try to make someone feel better in the
- 8:05Speaker 1: most terrible time. It feels good to have a little
- 8:08Speaker 1: you know. Another tip I've heard, and it's difficult to do.
- 8:11Speaker 1: In fact, I just messed this up yesterday with a
- 8:14Speaker 1: friend of ours whose mom had passed. But you're not
- 8:17Speaker 1: supposed to say, let me know if I can do anything. Okay,
- 8:20Speaker 1: you know this because it's it's too open ended. Yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 1: when someone passes away, you don't say, let me know
- 8:27Speaker 1: if I can do anything. You say I would like to,
- 8:31Speaker 1: uh send a dinner, or I would like to like
- 8:36Speaker 1: you have to make it more specific. I guess I
- 8:38Speaker 1: like that offer something more, more more concrete.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I think that's great because even you know you're right,
- 8:45Speaker 2: no one's going to be like I mean, of course,
- 8:48Speaker 2: if someone's like, let me know if I can do anything,
- 8:50Speaker 2: it's always going to be you know, embraced as something nice.
- 8:53Speaker 3: But it is open ended and as.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Much pressure, like I'm supposed to call you and be
- 9:01Speaker 1: like Amy, I would like dinner tonight, yeah, which I
- 9:04Speaker 1: am every day all my f fired. I need someone
- 9:07Speaker 1: to help me, so yeah. Yeah. But also it's like,
- 9:12Speaker 1: I guess, yeah, that does make sense. It's like I'd
- 9:15Speaker 1: like to send you dinner on Wednesday? Is better? Yes,
- 9:20Speaker 1: or I'm available on Wednesday if you want to help
- 9:23Speaker 1: help going through stuff, you know what I mean? Like
- 9:26Speaker 1: like then it's just it's just like an improv as well,
- 9:30Speaker 1: you're you know, you want to be more specific there.
- 9:33Speaker 1: In general, is a little more pressure. If you say,
- 9:36Speaker 1: in an improv scene, what do you want to do tonight?
- 9:39Speaker 1: It's too much pressure on your partner. But if you say,
- 9:43Speaker 1: you know, tonight we're going bowling at the new Bowling
- 9:46Speaker 1: Galli owned by favor Bugs, it's worse specific.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Right, right, I'd like to get I'd like to put
- 9:54Speaker 2: together some gift bags for your your incoming out of
- 9:59Speaker 2: t guess that will be coming to.
- 10:01Speaker 1: The Yeah that's nice. Yeah, nice. I guess you have
- 10:05Speaker 1: unlimited budget, but yeah, it could work.
- 10:12Speaker 3: It's just all drama, darling swag.
- 10:15Speaker 2: It's just like, well, uh, you know, he doesn't even
- 10:19Speaker 2: listen to the Real Housewives or what.
- 10:21Speaker 1: No drama darling. He was killed in a very dramatic way.
- 10:25Speaker 1: I can't believe this.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Oh my god.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Okay, So anyway, you know, rip Tolandie, and it just
- 10:35Speaker 2: was so awful. And then you know, for for portion
- 10:39Speaker 2: to be like I said that this was gonna be
- 10:41Speaker 2: my year, and like the shit really hit the fan
- 10:44Speaker 2: with her.
- 10:45Speaker 3: I mean, it was bad. Let's go to Angela and
- 10:48Speaker 3: her therapist. Now this was very telling.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Because at one point, the therapist alludes to why Angela
- 10:58Speaker 2: doesn't or hasn't trusted Charles. She literally and I think
- 11:03Speaker 2: Angela really wanted to shut her down when she started
- 11:05Speaker 2: to do that, because she's like, well, I don't know
- 11:08Speaker 2: if I can, you know, trust him. I mean I
- 11:10Speaker 2: trust him, I don't know why. And then the therapist
- 11:12Speaker 2: is like, well, I mean because and she's like uh huh,
- 11:15Speaker 2: you know, I think she shut her down, like yeah,
- 11:17Speaker 2: there's a reason why you don't trust him, and.
- 11:21Speaker 1: She did monopoly, that's right, doctor. Yes, he always takes
- 11:26Speaker 1: money from the banker's room. That's correct.
- 11:30Speaker 3: Oh my god, the banker's room.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Yes, So you know she is talking about how he
- 11:36Speaker 2: warned her not to buy these properties. She didn't listen
- 11:39Speaker 2: to him. He will not dump any more money into them.
- 11:43Speaker 2: She if, in fact, these properties don't do well or
- 11:48Speaker 2: she's left with them it's going to ruin their marriage.
- 11:51Speaker 2: And it's bad, It's really bad. And it comes down
- 11:54Speaker 2: to these properties Angela has.
- 11:56Speaker 1: It comes down to these properties and other things.
- 11:58Speaker 3: Well, yeah, just you know, it's just the properties.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Otherwise they have a perfect marriage.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know, she's like willing to talk about
- 12:06Speaker 2: the properties, but not the fact that he probably cheated
- 12:08Speaker 2: in the past, Like, it's not your fault about the properties,
- 12:10Speaker 2: he's cheated.
- 12:11Speaker 3: But also there's this business problem.
- 12:13Speaker 1: But I do think, man, she blew it, Like you know,
- 12:17Speaker 1: I get I get it. But when you added such
- 12:21Speaker 1: a financial strain, you know, like to you what marriage,
- 12:27Speaker 1: it's not good? Like no three? And then those properties
- 12:30Speaker 1: were a mess. Remember when they showed them to us
- 12:32Speaker 1: and the pool was empty.
- 12:33Speaker 3: I that's right, that pool. You were like, did you
- 12:36Speaker 3: see the pool?
- 12:37Speaker 2: Now that they are so bad and they need so
- 12:41Speaker 2: much money to even like get them back to one.
- 12:44Speaker 2: And not only that, but she's had to lower the prices.
- 12:47Speaker 2: She's never going to make her return. In the credits
- 12:50Speaker 2: to the end, we did see that she got rid
- 12:51Speaker 2: of two, probably for a very cheap price, and she
- 12:54Speaker 2: still has the one.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Oh so she always had three. That's what I wanted
- 12:58Speaker 1: to ask you she always had well in La those
- 13:01Speaker 1: would have gone in two seconds and for eight times
- 13:05Speaker 1: as much. You know, she thought she was doing something good,
- 13:09Speaker 1: so she did unload two. But didn't it say something.
- 13:12Speaker 1: I couldn't understand it. It kind of said like she
- 13:14Speaker 1: lost one.
- 13:16Speaker 3: Oh right, she.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Right?
- 13:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I think you're right she did. I'm sorry.
- 13:22Speaker 2: I think she said she lose it to the bank.
- 13:24Speaker 2: I think she lost it to the bank. I'm sorry,
- 13:27Speaker 2: I think it did say that.
- 13:29Speaker 1: I mean, I could be wrong, Lord knows, I was
- 13:32Speaker 1: at that point. My head was swimming from the entire episode.
- 13:35Speaker 2: I couldn't focus on what they were saying. At the end,
- 13:37Speaker 2: I was like, you guys, you went five months later.
- 13:40Speaker 2: We escalated so fast at the end. Why couldn't you
- 13:43Speaker 2: have given this to us sooner?
- 13:45Speaker 3: It just was a lot.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it was a lot, and like, all right, let's
- 13:48Speaker 1: just keep going in order. Okay, So you know this
- 13:51Speaker 1: is good. Though I liked the therapist.
- 13:53Speaker 3: And yeah, therapist was good. And then she should go
- 13:55Speaker 3: bad for Angel.
- 13:56Speaker 1: I must say, just to close that threat about the therapist,
- 14:00Speaker 1: her life is very difficult and in a very sad place,
- 14:05Speaker 1: and her first season brought much embarrassment to her, and
- 14:09Speaker 1: we also know her family isn't getting along. Just yikes.
- 14:12Speaker 2: You know, yeah, there was that foreclosure of one of
- 14:17Speaker 2: the properties for sure, because Phajer brought that up at
- 14:19Speaker 2: the end.
- 14:20Speaker 3: Remember, so you're right.
- 14:21Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying. She lost one geez.
- 14:23Speaker 2: Okay, So Shemiah's an unbelievable event with the eighteen costume changes.
- 14:30Speaker 1: Whoop she was on it? How much money? Who was
- 14:35Speaker 1: the one of the house I've shaded her? They're like,
- 14:37Speaker 1: this must have cost a fortune.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, it was a proper event, one that many housewives
- 14:43Speaker 2: could not do or pull off.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Yeah no, but listen one song bullshit Sina, one dancing
- 14:53Speaker 1: song bullshit?
- 14:54Speaker 3: I mean you already know no love? Oh wait, how
- 14:58Speaker 3: about that one part?
- 15:00Speaker 2: And Drew was like, as the resident singer of this group,
- 15:02Speaker 2: I'm just going to show up just to make sure
- 15:04Speaker 2: her mic is working. And when they're like as the
- 15:06Speaker 2: resident singer, they flash back to her singing to Ralph
- 15:10Speaker 2: at the reunion.
- 15:13Speaker 1: I must say that flashback was shady as hell. But
- 15:15Speaker 1: also I remember that and I remember thinking, what is
- 15:20Speaker 1: this life? Who is Ralph? How dumb do you have
- 15:23Speaker 1: to be to sit on a reunion and let someone
- 15:25Speaker 1: sing a song about what a fuck up you are
- 15:28Speaker 1: and also who at Bravo was like I love this.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Wheel out the mic and let her sing how much
- 15:37Speaker 1: she hates her husband on the reunion. It's so great.
- 15:40Speaker 1: This life is so great, Like if I was Ralph,
- 15:42Speaker 1: that would be my Like, that's the moment in the
- 15:44Speaker 1: movie where it's like, yep, this is me. You know,
- 15:47Speaker 1: it's like, this is me. I'm getting a breakup song
- 15:52Speaker 1: sung to be on a reunion of a cable network
- 15:55Speaker 1: television show. She's like, you never loved me, you never cared.
- 16:02Speaker 1: The camera just panted. But he's like.
- 16:11Speaker 3: The irony of that moment? Was it the end?
- 16:13Speaker 2: And he's like, so, what did you think about that?
- 16:16Speaker 2: And he's like, I loved it.
- 16:17Speaker 3: It was great seeing.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Her saying I was like, you guys are something else.
- 16:22Speaker 2: They are such a piece of work. He finally crawled
- 16:26Speaker 2: out of that basement and got to sit at the piano,
- 16:30Speaker 2: and you know they're setting up that shot because they're
- 16:32Speaker 2: both just like, oh yeah, well, we'll just we'll just
- 16:35Speaker 2: act like we're now friends at the end at the
- 16:36Speaker 2: end of the season. You know, we were friends at
- 16:38Speaker 2: the beginning of the season. Now the end of the season,
- 16:40Speaker 2: we're going to wrap it up and we're just going
- 16:42Speaker 2: to be cordial and respectful. And then and I wonder
- 16:46Speaker 2: when that was shot, you know, I mean that was
- 16:48Speaker 2: probably shot months after they wrapped where they're like, all right,
- 16:51Speaker 2: we need to like wrap up your story, so let's
- 16:53Speaker 2: just get Ralph out of the basement.
- 16:55Speaker 1: And she is so passive aggressive. I was like, of
- 17:03Speaker 1: course you can see them if you'd like to ask
- 17:05Speaker 1: for permission, and all the cameras are like you right
- 17:09Speaker 1: over to him, and he's like, ragg I'd like to
- 17:19Speaker 1: come up from the basement if I may get a
- 17:21Speaker 1: piece of cheese out of the refrigerator.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Oh good, I'm glad you asked for permission. I'll allow it.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Oh my god. Ralph has disaster of Leta are current disasters.
- 17:38Speaker 3: They really are.
- 17:39Speaker 2: And the fact that like Drew really leans into this
- 17:42Speaker 2: because her storyline was very light this season. I mean,
- 17:45Speaker 2: she was barely.
- 17:46Speaker 1: There Dennis Dennis in the beginning, I.
- 17:49Speaker 2: Know, but it was like because of that, she was
- 17:51Speaker 2: pushed aside and not included, and then you know she was.
- 17:56Speaker 3: She would come in and out.
- 17:57Speaker 2: It just felt like she wasn't a full how wife
- 18:00Speaker 2: this season in a way, but she had a strong
- 18:03Speaker 2: thread of drama going on and yet not a heavy
- 18:08Speaker 2: amount of camera time. You know, it didn't equal out.
- 18:10Speaker 2: It was strange. I actually wanted more Drew. That's I
- 18:13Speaker 2: leave this season saying I wanted more Drew. She is
- 18:17Speaker 2: such a character and fun to watch because of the
- 18:20Speaker 2: absurdity and you know, so having her and Ralph at
- 18:25Speaker 2: the end be like, well, I just want to be friends.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Yeah, let's just be chill.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Let's we're friends. Okay, cool, And then you know cameras
- 18:31Speaker 2: are down and they're just probably ripping each other's faces off.
- 18:33Speaker 1: But whatever, okay, disaster, disaster, Careful who you marry?
- 18:38Speaker 3: Darlings, darlings.
- 18:41Speaker 2: So at Shimiya's event, Britt really comes for Samia about Porscha,
- 18:50Speaker 2: and then she brings up her daughter in the end, like, oh,
- 18:53Speaker 2: did you see your daughter after Miami or you went
- 18:55Speaker 2: to Miami after they went to Grenada. She brought up
- 18:59Speaker 2: she went so low about remember when her daughter.
- 19:03Speaker 1: Was Are you kidding me? Yes, Britt, Britt is.
- 19:05Speaker 3: This is sorry?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Go ahead, No, you're right. I don't know what to
- 19:10Speaker 1: say about it. Of course I remember it. It's a
- 19:12Speaker 1: fucking nightmare. Britt is so not versed in how to
- 19:17Speaker 1: do this show. It has been a glaring all season
- 19:22Speaker 1: long to us what the problem is here and for
- 19:27Speaker 1: her to to when she feels attacked, she comes with
- 19:31Speaker 1: the big guns in a very non television way. And
- 19:37Speaker 1: after the show she was actually blindsided Britt obviously because
- 19:43Speaker 1: she was like, good job, like she was happy for her,
- 19:47Speaker 1: and then she was like, I don't appreciate what you
- 19:50Speaker 1: revealed to Portia. And then she's like, and that's not
- 19:54Speaker 1: even true, which and now I hate to say it,
- 19:56Speaker 1: but I have to give this one to Britt. I
- 19:58Speaker 1: guarantee you show me a s showed her those texts.
- 20:00Speaker 1: I do too.
- 20:01Speaker 3: I was like, oh my god, who am I going
- 20:03Speaker 3: to believe?
- 20:03Speaker 2: And I just thought Britt, I shouldn't believe her, but
- 20:07Speaker 2: I believe her.
- 20:08Speaker 1: I believe her. Okay, now I believe her. Now there
- 20:10Speaker 1: was a second part that maybe I don't believe. I
- 20:12Speaker 1: think she probably exaggerated it. But I guarant fucking tea
- 20:16Speaker 1: that Sami has showed Kelly and Britt the text threat
- 20:21Speaker 1: to try to prove a point about porsia, which Samiah
- 20:25Speaker 1: big mistake, huge shouldn't have done that. Don't show these
- 20:31Speaker 1: new housewives. They need storylines. They're grasping at straws. You
- 20:38Speaker 1: don't mess with people's money, and so people that are
- 20:41Speaker 1: on a housewife's show want that check. So they're going
- 20:47Speaker 1: to look for the drama and don't bring it to
- 20:50Speaker 1: their doorsteps. So that was terrible. So point to brit
- 20:54Speaker 1: on the fact that Shmiad definitely showed her the text messages.
- 20:57Speaker 1: In my opinion, point taken away, Okay, when you go
- 21:01Speaker 1: so low to mention how doing shots when your daughter
- 21:05Speaker 1: is sick, no.
- 21:06Speaker 3: Way disgusting that you can't come back from that.
- 21:11Speaker 2: And then flash back to when she was in Grenada
- 21:14Speaker 2: and she put on that show where she was like,
- 21:16Speaker 2: I'm your sister, I'm here, I'll be here no matter what.
- 21:20Speaker 2: And then it just went too long, you know.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Because BRIT's Yeah, because she's tried too harder. I don't know,
- 21:29Speaker 1: she's she's not good and she's trying to be it.
- 21:35Speaker 1: She wants to be a housewife, she wants to be
- 21:37Speaker 1: successful on the show. She she can't do it, she
- 21:40Speaker 1: doesn't know how to do it.
- 21:42Speaker 2: She shouldn't have been here, she should have Kenya should
- 21:45Speaker 2: have just been like not done that, and then they
- 21:47Speaker 2: could have gotten rid of brit after a Brit made
- 21:50Speaker 2: those threats with the gun with.
- 21:52Speaker 1: The gun and then by the way, welcome her out
- 21:57Speaker 1: when she's like, you're the one who threads people the guns.
- 22:00Speaker 2: I was like, I'm glad that that finally circled back,
- 22:05Speaker 2: Like everybody, just let that go. It's I don't know
- 22:09Speaker 2: if they were told, like, don't mention all any of
- 22:11Speaker 2: this at all for the rest of the season, but
- 22:13Speaker 2: it is strange that nobody talked about Kenya at all,
- 22:19Speaker 2: what happened, that she wasn't around because of what because
- 22:24Speaker 2: of what she did to brit no one brought it up.
- 22:26Speaker 2: And I think it was because out of loyalty to Kenya,
- 22:30Speaker 2: because they didn't want to like shine any more light
- 22:32Speaker 2: on it. I can't understand another reason why unless they
- 22:36Speaker 2: told them not to talk about that, but they could
- 22:38Speaker 2: have talked about it.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Do you think they do that? Do you think there's
- 22:43Speaker 1: like an episode memo that goes from production to the housewives,
- 22:47Speaker 1: like good work everyone, but we got to stop bringing
- 22:50Speaker 1: up the gun a little bit and more titty from you, Phedra.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I don't know, but probably not, but maybe I don't know,
- 22:57Speaker 1: but yeah.
- 22:57Speaker 2: Yeah, they have parameters. I would absolutely think they do.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Especially with them it comes to legal they probably have
- 23:02Speaker 2: a lot of legal ram a lot of legal parameters.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 23:09Speaker 2: The brain fog is real, y'all's well of us, Okay.
- 23:18Speaker 2: I also want to mention that the reason why I
- 23:22Speaker 2: fully believe that Shamia showed them the text is because
- 23:25Speaker 2: from the jump she went to all the New Housewives
- 23:28Speaker 2: talking about how she wasn't getting along with Porsha and
- 23:30Speaker 2: how she feels like she's in her shadow from day
- 23:32Speaker 2: one since she got on this show, and she was like,
- 23:34Speaker 2: Porsha doesn't want me on this show. It's like, of
- 23:36Speaker 2: course we believe her, and Shimiya, are you gonna flat
- 23:39Speaker 2: out lie to all of us right now?
- 23:41Speaker 1: Yeah? But that's the thing. Shemiya is definitely lying about
- 23:44Speaker 1: the text, and you could see it happening. But there
- 23:47Speaker 1: was another thing that I don't think she was lying
- 23:49Speaker 1: about that I think Britt was lying about. I can't
- 23:52Speaker 1: remember now, of course, because my brain was self filled
- 23:54Speaker 1: with this episode's delights, but I definitely think that like
- 23:58Speaker 1: Shamia is like like basically to me is like I
- 24:01Speaker 1: never spoke to you. Not true, and I never showed
- 24:03Speaker 1: you these text messages come on. But then there was
- 24:06Speaker 1: one thing where I was like, okay, I can't remember.
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yeah, it was like we were in a we were
- 24:11Speaker 2: in a hot air balloon and you said to me,
- 24:14Speaker 2: it's like, I'm not sure about that.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Yeah, but that that mentioning her daughter being sick is
- 24:21Speaker 1: very close to saying Kelly had abortions. I Amy, you
- 24:25Speaker 1: know this very well. I don't like people putting business
- 24:30Speaker 1: out into these streets.
- 24:31Speaker 3: Not when it comes.
- 24:32Speaker 2: It goes so low, like so low, so needs to
- 24:37Speaker 2: just pull it back. It's it's really bad how low
- 24:40Speaker 2: she goes and how fast she'll do it.
- 24:42Speaker 1: She pulled herself right on out, didn't she because she
- 24:45Speaker 1: knew it.
- 24:45Speaker 3: Yeah, she, she sure did. And we're leaving. Okay, we're
- 24:49Speaker 3: going to have a scene with my family and Mike's family.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You know.
- 24:52Speaker 2: I mean that was also weird. I mean I guess
- 24:56Speaker 2: I should say what.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Oh, go ahead, I don't know what that was either.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Yeah, that was very odd.
- 25:03Speaker 2: Okay, we're gonna take a very quick break and then
- 25:06Speaker 2: we'll talk about the strange like family get together.
- 25:09Speaker 1: But i'llso talk about Page's new honey.
- 25:12Speaker 2: Yeah, Okay, we are back talking the Real Housewives of
- 25:17Speaker 2: Atlanta and I am with Jamie Moyer Jamels, So we'll
- 25:22Speaker 2: talk about Phaedra and Chi Chi at the vineyard.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Oh so love this Chee Chee guy. And that's also
- 25:30Speaker 1: the name of my most beloved rested peace at her
- 25:33Speaker 1: homegoing chee Chi La La. Oh my god, I love
- 25:40Speaker 1: ch ch yes Amy and chee Chi La La best ties.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Oh my gosh.
- 25:46Speaker 2: Remember we had that photo shoot when we were doing
- 25:48Speaker 2: our show Sweet and Salty and we went to the
- 25:53Speaker 2: park and Los Filas the God Now I can't even
- 25:56Speaker 2: remember the name.
- 25:57Speaker 3: It was that huge.
- 25:58Speaker 1: It's called Disneyland. It wasn't that. I'm gonna show a
- 26:05Speaker 1: picture to those Tier two darlings.
- 26:09Speaker 3: The drama mamas. Oh my gosh, look how cute she is.
- 26:13Speaker 1: She was so cute. She would just let you just
- 26:16Speaker 1: carry her around in your arms like a little baby,
- 26:21Speaker 1: My sweet little chee Chi La La. So anyway, when
- 26:24Speaker 1: he said his name was Chee Chee I said, adorable.
- 26:27Speaker 1: Remind me of my Chee Chi La La.
- 26:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 26:29Speaker 2: I think they met on married to Medicine. Remember when
- 26:32Speaker 2: was on married to med So that's what that footage was.
- 26:36Speaker 2: Did you remember that when they met.
- 26:38Speaker 1: I never I. I didn't know what that was. I
- 26:41Speaker 1: just thought it was some kind of a fancy dinner.
- 26:43Speaker 1: So they met on Married to med Interesting. Yeah, and
- 26:46Speaker 1: you saw that episode? Did you think I didn't see it? Eight?
- 26:49Speaker 2: I missed that whole season. I actually need to go
- 26:51Speaker 2: back and watch that. I think I might do that
- 26:53Speaker 2: over the Christmas break, because that was during a time
- 26:56Speaker 2: in which, well, like many times in the drama Darling World,
- 27:01Speaker 2: when we had an embarrassment of shows on and they
- 27:04Speaker 2: always do that with Mary to Med is that they
- 27:09Speaker 2: shovel all these shows in at one time, and there
- 27:12Speaker 2: are too many to keep up with. So I ended
- 27:15Speaker 2: up not watching it at all, which was bad on I.
- 27:19Speaker 1: You know, I don't know how you do what you do.
- 27:21Speaker 1: I swear, there's so much content. I'm gonna put this
- 27:26Speaker 1: phone away with Chi chi la la. I couldn't find
- 27:27Speaker 1: the picture of me and you and Chee chee. But
- 27:29Speaker 1: look what I did find.
- 27:30Speaker 3: Oh my parents, Oh my gosh, look how young they look.
- 27:34Speaker 1: Wow they look the same. Your parents look the same.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Ever I've ever seen it, Okay, put in my phone up. Yeah,
- 27:40Speaker 1: Married in Medicine, I've never seen that one episode, you know,
- 27:42Speaker 1: I dedicate my life to watching the episodes of the
- 27:46Speaker 1: shows that you and I discussed.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Dedicate your life, I dedicate my life to it.
- 27:52Speaker 1: I dedicate my life. But I have to say, there's
- 27:56Speaker 1: been times where you've given me a pass on certain shows.
- 27:58Speaker 1: And there's just a certain shows is that I just
- 28:00Speaker 1: don't ever want to watch. But one that I do
- 28:03Speaker 1: think I need to watch. It's not Married to med
- 28:05Speaker 1: It's the below Decks. Oh yeah, you never watched them. Yeah,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and you told me I should watch Potomac, Potomac, Potomac.
- 28:17Speaker 3: No, that's right, you're right. I guess we're from Michigan.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Potomac. You told me, let me put the Michigan pot
- 28:24Speaker 1: You told me I needed to watch Potomac.
- 28:27Speaker 3: Yes, watch Botanic.
- 28:30Speaker 1: But you still stand by that. Oh yes, oh one
- 28:36Speaker 1: episode one?
- 28:37Speaker 3: No, I don't know if you need to go back
- 28:38Speaker 3: that far.
- 28:40Speaker 1: We'll discuss, okay, I mean, look, I mean we talk
- 28:44Speaker 1: about on her office. We dedicate our lives.
- 28:47Speaker 2: Phedra and Chee che You know they met like four
- 28:50Speaker 2: months ago. She's loving it, he's younger. It's great. Happy
- 28:54Speaker 2: for them. Uh now, let's talk about this strange brit
- 28:58Speaker 2: and Mike family get together they got married during COVID,
- 29:02Speaker 2: so both their families never came together to meet. Here
- 29:06Speaker 2: we are, like four years later, and now both sides
- 29:09Speaker 2: are coming together to meet for what will be what
- 29:14Speaker 2: they're gonna get married again with everybody?
- 29:17Speaker 1: Sounds like it, okay, okay.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I think she was waiting to see if she'd be
- 29:22Speaker 2: on the show so she could have her wedding on
- 29:24Speaker 2: the show.
- 29:24Speaker 3: That's what it sounds like.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Could be. Could be She's so delusional. Perhaps she thinks
- 29:28Speaker 1: she'll get an offshoot show.
- 29:30Speaker 3: No, I don't know.
- 29:31Speaker 1: It's such a strange dynamic with that they are married party.
- 29:35Speaker 1: I know, I know they are married, but it's like
- 29:37Speaker 1: the dynamic with them is bizarre. The party was a
- 29:41Speaker 1: little I get. I thought the party actually looked kind
- 29:43Speaker 1: of fun and everybody was having a good time. But
- 29:45Speaker 1: it's like, why don't they all know each other? What
- 29:48Speaker 1: is going on with their.
- 29:51Speaker 3: No one's talking, you know who? The common denominator and
- 29:54Speaker 3: all this is dam.
- 30:03Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, yeah, her whole family has a problem
- 30:06Speaker 2: with her. All of her sisters do, and sometimes they don't.
- 30:10Speaker 2: But somehow they magically were able to like get out
- 30:14Speaker 2: of that and come and be with her on camera,
- 30:17Speaker 2: it's not giving good vibes.
- 30:19Speaker 1: It's not giving good vibes. And there's something there with
- 30:22Speaker 1: her that is just a click off for me. And
- 30:25Speaker 1: I've said it from moment one. Yeah, it's not that
- 30:28Speaker 1: I don't like her. It's not that I just think
- 30:31Speaker 1: she is a former video vixen who is attempting to
- 30:44Speaker 1: rebrand and was trying to use the show to project
- 30:48Speaker 1: a housewife's image while having many secrets in her marriage,
- 30:54Speaker 1: perhaps skeletons in her closet, perhaps a pill pro allegedly
- 31:04Speaker 1: not knowing how to do the things, the donations, the events.
- 31:08Speaker 1: I mean, it was a disastrous season for her. I
- 31:11Speaker 1: wanted her to succeed. It was rough.
- 31:14Speaker 2: I I didn't really I was like the second that
- 31:17Speaker 2: she said the gun thing, I was like, what do
- 31:20Speaker 2: we you should be leaving with.
- 31:22Speaker 3: Kenya Like, h you're right.
- 31:24Speaker 2: So I really had a hard time sticking in there
- 31:29Speaker 2: with her. So none of it really surprises me. I
- 31:31Speaker 2: just think she's a real wash. She should not come
- 31:33Speaker 2: back next season. What do you think?
- 31:34Speaker 1: One hundred percent not coming back? And I think that
- 31:37Speaker 1: by her walking out that way. One of the realest
- 31:40Speaker 1: moments on this entire season was when she had enough
- 31:44Speaker 1: and she was like, take this bullshit off of me.
- 31:46Speaker 1: And I was like, there she is. That's a real person.
- 31:48Speaker 2: She's like, Yeah, let's actually lean into what is somewhat
- 31:52Speaker 2: real for you.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Right. That's a big problem I'm noticing both on this show,
- 31:57Speaker 1: and I think a little bit with Love Island.
- 32:00Speaker 3: Absolutely love.
- 32:00Speaker 1: When people know they're going to be on TV, they
- 32:04Speaker 1: are they're not giving us the realness and it leaks through.
- 32:08Speaker 1: And that's why you need to not be that way.
- 32:10Speaker 1: You just need to forget about the cameras. Remember what
- 32:12Speaker 1: I said when I recapped Valley episode one, season one,
- 32:17Speaker 1: Everyone head on over on the patreot. I mean, you
- 32:21Speaker 1: archived these episodes. But the point is, I said, this
- 32:25Speaker 1: show is amazing because those new people Michelle jan At, Jason, Zach,
- 32:32Speaker 1: they don't know what they're on and so they're they're
- 32:35Speaker 1: letting it all hang out. Michelle Jesse, they were having
- 32:38Speaker 1: the most real fights you've ever seen. There was no
- 32:40Speaker 1: bullshit for the cameras. Mike and Britt. I wouldn't be
- 32:44Speaker 1: surprised if their house had a facade on it that
- 32:47Speaker 1: fell over and showed a different house. It was all
- 32:49Speaker 1: just It reminds me amy of when my mom and
- 32:52Speaker 1: I were selling the house and we loaded everything into
- 32:55Speaker 1: the garage because we had to have the pictures taken.
- 32:57Speaker 1: It was like three helpers and we loaded every think
- 33:00Speaker 1: into the garage. And it was like the moment in
- 33:03Speaker 1: Risky Business where he buys back all this stuff from
- 33:05Speaker 1: his mom's house and they like throw the Faberge egg.
- 33:08Speaker 1: They were like closing the garage on what looked like
- 33:11Speaker 1: the most chaotic home you could ever see. And then
- 33:14Speaker 1: my mom would walk through the house every day. I'd
- 33:16Speaker 1: be like, this is the house I've always wanted. Yeah,
- 33:18Speaker 1: but you have too much shit.
- 33:20Speaker 3: It's all in the garage.
- 33:21Speaker 2: Yeah, totally, that is the Yes, that's perfect, perfect analogy,
- 33:28Speaker 2: Absolutely brilliant.
- 33:29Speaker 3: I mean it's true.
- 33:30Speaker 2: And I think they're all like I mean not a
- 33:33Speaker 2: lot of housewives that come in nowadays are like that.
- 33:36Speaker 2: You know, they've got their rented houses, they have questionable money.
- 33:42Speaker 2: We're not sure what they're what they're bringing to the table.
- 33:44Speaker 2: It's all a facade. And and then and here we yeah,
- 33:49Speaker 2: absolutely so who called who a lady of the of
- 33:53Speaker 2: the evening, Lady of the night was?
- 33:54Speaker 3: It was it Shemiah.
- 33:57Speaker 1: To britt I believe so amazing.
- 34:01Speaker 2: I mean, I gotta say, because I do love the
- 34:03Speaker 2: term lady of the evening, and I mean.
- 34:05Speaker 1: Classy term for a sports That's the thing at the base.
- 34:12Speaker 1: All of the housewives know that Britt was a video girl,
- 34:15Speaker 1: and we all know what that means.
- 34:18Speaker 3: We do.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Now, let's talk about this freaking Oakley Foundation event. Wow,
- 34:28Speaker 2: this really blew the wheels off the entire series. Like
- 34:33Speaker 2: I we got basically Charles Oakley losing his shit on
- 34:38Speaker 2: some guy, some random guy that showed up at a
- 34:40Speaker 2: Williams Sonoma and we're trying to track it down to
- 34:43Speaker 2: who it is. And the amount of screen time that
- 34:45Speaker 2: Marcus got was more than Kenya this season.
- 34:50Speaker 3: I was shocked. He's gonna be a season. He's gonna
- 34:53Speaker 3: be at the third reunion.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I have they need to bring him in, but also
- 34:58Speaker 1: not I haven't. I couldn't wait when I was watching
- 35:01Speaker 1: this last night at four AM or whatever the heck
- 35:04Speaker 1: I did, because you know I have crazy hours. Yes,
- 35:06Speaker 1: I was like, I can't wait to get Amy's take
- 35:10Speaker 1: on this Marcus thing. We have to unpack both the
- 35:13Speaker 1: Marcus thing at the Phedra accusal, Where would you like
- 35:18Speaker 1: to begin.
- 35:20Speaker 3: The Marcus thing absolutely all right, Yeah, so he.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Marcus at Williams Sonoma felt like the oddest thing I've
- 35:31Speaker 1: ever seen in the first place, right, we know, Yeah,
- 35:35Speaker 1: that felt weird as hell.
- 35:37Speaker 3: It felt weird as hell.
- 35:38Speaker 2: We loved him coming up eating the waffle and just
- 35:41Speaker 2: being like, can I pull you for a second?
- 35:44Speaker 1: Sure, Jeremiah, what the fuck?
- 35:46Speaker 2: Just like going all Bachelor Love Island, I'm gonna pull
- 35:50Speaker 2: you because I really feel like I haven't never quick.
- 35:52Speaker 2: I'm exploring, so like I'm not like locked down. I
- 35:55Speaker 2: didn't close it up, So I just need to talk
- 35:57Speaker 2: to you about some tea. And this guy moving about
- 36:01Speaker 2: bobbing and weaving in between the housewives and Charles Oakley
- 36:05Speaker 2: at William's Sonoma and then entering into this event like
- 36:10Speaker 2: like he was on a red carpet and being delivered.
- 36:14Speaker 2: So when they basically are like yes or he says
- 36:17Speaker 2: to everybody, I saw Charles Oakley in my restaurant with
- 36:23Speaker 2: women twice.
- 36:25Speaker 3: And this was in June.
- 36:26Speaker 2: And we find out from angel at least in her confessional,
- 36:29Speaker 2: it's impossible he was coaching at that time. He was
- 36:32Speaker 2: out of town, and Ben Angela is like, who brought
- 36:37Speaker 2: you to this event, like, or who put you at
- 36:40Speaker 2: william Sonoma?
- 36:41Speaker 3: Who pinned you?
- 36:42Speaker 2: Who placed you? Who dropped you at william Sonoma? Like
- 36:46Speaker 2: who was this?
- 36:47Speaker 1: Well? And also, let's talk about the meeting with Marcus.
- 36:51Speaker 1: This is where I almost felt like, did Angela set
- 36:54Speaker 1: this up to herself?
- 36:56Speaker 3: Like she sures had did Who.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Meets with this guy a camera and the guy goes, yeah,
- 37:02Speaker 1: I saw him in my restaurant and she's like, no,
- 37:04Speaker 1: you didn't.
- 37:05Speaker 3: He's right, You're right, I didn't someone you're looking for.
- 37:10Speaker 1: Yeah, someone hired me to do this. It was all
- 37:12Speaker 1: This was the most I'm gonna say it. This probably
- 37:16Speaker 1: is one of the most bizarre moments in housewife history.
- 37:21Speaker 1: This Marcus conundrum, the oddity of it is palpable from
- 37:28Speaker 1: from start to finish. That lu as weird as fuck too.
- 37:33Speaker 2: It's weird as hell. And then we're going back in
- 37:36Speaker 2: time so we're seeing it with a filter, so that
- 37:41Speaker 2: but it looks to me it smells of who's going
- 37:44Speaker 2: to pay me the most money to tell their story?
- 37:48Speaker 2: You know, because whoever got him there in the first place,
- 37:51Speaker 2: he was probably bribed to do it, or he reached
- 37:55Speaker 2: out to someone and said, you know, he was in
- 37:57Speaker 2: some dms and he saw Charles Oakley there at some time,
- 38:00Speaker 2: and then it turned into he was.
- 38:02Speaker 3: There in June.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Yeah, and now Angela's like, I'm desperate. I have to
- 38:07Speaker 2: pay you off because I can't lose my marriage and
- 38:10Speaker 2: I can't I have too many properties. And maybe he
- 38:14Speaker 2: decided to have empathy towards her and he switched allegiances
- 38:18Speaker 2: and then was like, I will show up and apologize
- 38:21Speaker 2: to Charles Oakley in person on camera, and Charles couldn't
- 38:25Speaker 2: even let him speak on it, and so he had
- 38:27Speaker 2: to yell his apologies.
- 38:30Speaker 1: That was not sane, unhinged. You know, Marcus, is anyone
- 38:35Speaker 1: who knows that Housewives are filming? We've seen this part
- 38:38Speaker 1: of it before. Yeah, when people want to go on camera,
- 38:42Speaker 1: like remember there was like a Salt Lake party where
- 38:44Speaker 1: some drunk one was like, yeah, get out him. Like
- 38:46Speaker 1: they want to be on camera. Strangers want to be
- 38:48Speaker 1: on camera. They want to be like here's me on
- 38:50Speaker 1: the Housewives confronting Jen Shaw like they they everyone in
- 38:54Speaker 1: this world, I hate to say, thinks they're the main
- 38:56Speaker 1: character of their own story. So they know there's cameras
- 38:58Speaker 1: in town. Let's go popop on them. I get it,
- 39:01Speaker 1: but there's this one when it clicks too far.
- 39:05Speaker 2: Yeah it went yeah, go ahead, go ahead, now you
- 39:11Speaker 2: go ahead.
- 39:12Speaker 3: I want to hear what you have to say.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Welcome in the most disturbing thing about this that I
- 39:18Speaker 1: have to know now, is is it even possible that
- 39:22Speaker 1: it was Vadra.
- 39:23Speaker 3: If this is.
- 39:26Speaker 1: I don't think it's.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Almost too on the nose, because if she did do
- 39:32Speaker 2: this dirty work, we can know we did all this
- 39:36Speaker 2: heavy lifting to allow her back into our lives. And
- 39:40Speaker 2: if this is how she's going to repay us, we're screwed.
- 39:43Speaker 3: If this is true.
- 39:44Speaker 1: I know we're screwed if this is true. And I'll
- 39:47Speaker 1: have to tell you if this is true, I'm done
- 39:49Speaker 1: with Fadra. I gave her a second chance when she
- 39:53Speaker 1: betrayed Candy, my favorite, one of my top three favorite housewives,
- 39:57Speaker 1: and what she did with that first thing was so
- 40:02Speaker 1: dirty and nasty. Now this is just dumb, And if
- 40:07Speaker 1: Fadra did this, it shows me that Fadra is one
- 40:11Speaker 1: of the fakest humans on earth, that all she cares
- 40:14Speaker 1: about is manufacturing dumb storylines on a show that she
- 40:17Speaker 1: already is interesting enough. And I'll be very upset Amy
- 40:20Speaker 1: if it's true.
- 40:21Speaker 3: I will be as well.
- 40:23Speaker 2: And I think that when you make the blanket statement,
- 40:28Speaker 2: if this is true, Fadra is the fakest person I
- 40:31Speaker 2: would say that she. Uh. I don't mean to sound
- 40:34Speaker 2: this as an insult against because I don't want to
- 40:37Speaker 2: go against her without knowing, but I think across the board,
- 40:40Speaker 2: she hasn't been the most real housewife this entire time regardless,
- 40:44Speaker 2: So it wouldn't necessarily be shocking because she has had
- 40:48Speaker 2: a facade this whole time. The reason why she gets
- 40:50Speaker 2: away with it is because she's so fun charming and
- 40:54Speaker 2: funny and smart and witty and entertaining, so like that
- 40:58Speaker 2: is her place in how housewives. Other housewives have places
- 41:03Speaker 2: where they show up and do what they do best.
- 41:05Speaker 2: You've got people who are super organic and real, and
- 41:08Speaker 2: that's and they're not as funny or entertaining, and they're
- 41:10Speaker 2: not going to have as certainly as many means as
- 41:12Speaker 2: say someone like Fadra.
- 41:14Speaker 3: But Fadra doesn't.
- 41:15Speaker 2: Necessarily have to be real at all, ever, because she's
- 41:18Speaker 2: already established herself from so long ago as being this
- 41:22Speaker 2: caricature that she is, and that's what we celebrate and
- 41:24Speaker 2: why we keep coming back.
- 41:26Speaker 1: Excellent point exactly so, and she doesn't need to do this.
- 41:30Speaker 1: This is like scraping the bottom of the barrel. And
- 41:32Speaker 1: that's why I think she didn't do it when she said,
- 41:35Speaker 1: do you think I would come back after all that
- 41:38Speaker 1: I have been through and do something this sloppy? M
- 41:42Speaker 1: But Angela made a great point. Who is guilty the
- 41:48Speaker 1: one who brings you the information? And so if Fadra
- 41:51Speaker 1: went to her behind the scenes and goes his name
- 41:53Speaker 1: as Marcus Daley lives at this address, how do you
- 41:57Speaker 1: know that?
- 41:58Speaker 2: Also the foreclosure thing, I mean, that's not that hard
- 42:01Speaker 2: to figure out, but you'd have to be looking.
- 42:05Speaker 1: Oh if looking into all of them, there's no question.
- 42:08Speaker 1: But would you she be so sloppy and Marcus had
- 42:11Speaker 1: some he was.
- 42:13Speaker 4: Sketchy, sketchy, wiley eyes look tweaky, Yeah, tweaky, excellent, Amy exactly, tweak,
- 42:22Speaker 4: allegedly tweaky, and the whole situation was sweaky, Yeah, trying.
- 42:30Speaker 1: To figure out who's tweaking and who's tweaking allegedly. Yeah,
- 42:34Speaker 1: he was, Yeah, twirky, tweaky, twacky, he was so that
- 42:39Speaker 1: whole situation. I can't understand it. Please make it make sense.
- 42:44Speaker 2: Do we think that Phaedia really is behind this obviously
- 42:47Speaker 2: we're gonna find out at the reunion, I mean, or
- 42:50Speaker 2: maybe we never will. But what is the text that
- 42:54Speaker 2: when they're sitting there and Drew and Angel are sitting
- 42:56Speaker 2: there with Marcus and they're like, who brought this information
- 42:59Speaker 2: to you? Who put you at Williams Sonoma? And he
- 43:05Speaker 2: doesn't want to say, and they're like, do you want
- 43:06Speaker 2: to write it? So he puts it in his text
- 43:08Speaker 2: and he shows them and they have a reaction. So
- 43:12Speaker 2: then when we get to real time, it looks like
- 43:14Speaker 2: it's brit.
- 43:15Speaker 3: They kind of did a little zigzag. They made it
- 43:17Speaker 3: seem like a grit.
- 43:19Speaker 1: They thought they I thought I was gonna say it
- 43:20Speaker 1: was Kelly, Oh her event she had problems with with.
- 43:25Speaker 2: With Then they swerved and then it like landed on Phaedra.
- 43:30Speaker 2: So I'm like, okay, well then who was it?
- 43:32Speaker 1: Well here's one thing I can promise you. Marcus is nuts.
- 43:36Speaker 1: So he could dipe in Phaedra, why would they believe him?
- 43:39Speaker 1: He two seconds could later be like and also God
- 43:42Speaker 1: is thorn of earth earth trap like he had that
- 43:48Speaker 1: on a earth trap vibe, Like I could go to
- 43:50Speaker 1: your house and I'm done with our friend group. Why
- 43:55Speaker 1: And then I just type you a message and it
- 43:57Speaker 1: says like Denise, you know, like anyone could do that.
- 44:01Speaker 4: Anybody can type a name on a textread yeah, show
- 44:05Speaker 4: me where are my receipts.
- 44:07Speaker 2: Proof, timeline, screenshots, fucking everything? Hold on, then we go,
- 44:14Speaker 2: because you're right. He started to bob and weave into
- 44:17Speaker 2: a world in which I thought we were watching, you know,
- 44:22Speaker 2: a film noir, because he was like Junebug, you know,
- 44:24Speaker 2: he started to do these weird code names and what
- 44:31Speaker 2: was that all about? And Porscha being the godfather. It's like, yeah,
- 44:35Speaker 2: just so nuts.
- 44:37Speaker 1: Would Porscha be so dumb as to come back and
- 44:42Speaker 1: in her first season back do something so sloppy? I
- 44:46Speaker 1: just don't see it. And also Charles Oakley popping off
- 44:52Speaker 1: like that, and Angela showed her ass as far as
- 44:56Speaker 1: her being kind of flaky. She's like, Charles, please, I'm
- 44:58Speaker 1: trying to clear your name. He's like, clear my name
- 45:01Speaker 1: from what? Woman? Get getting the fuck out of here.
- 45:04Speaker 1: It's like, oh, that's this right, Can you clear my
- 45:07Speaker 1: name if you claim? I was Oh, he's coaching that
- 45:10Speaker 1: thirty days in a row in a different city, right please.
- 45:13Speaker 1: But regardless, they don't bring the guy to the event.
- 45:18Speaker 1: It beautiful event, and it works and.
- 45:23Speaker 2: Everybody looks so good. The what the way Angela moves
- 45:26Speaker 2: is she will go in the opposite the wrong direction tenfold.
- 45:32Speaker 2: So it's like this, It's like, I want to get
- 45:35Speaker 2: into investing in properties. That sounds good, but right now
- 45:39Speaker 2: real estate is down. You probably shouldn't go in that direction. Okay,
- 45:43Speaker 2: I'm going to buy three properties. Okay, wait a minute.
- 45:47Speaker 2: So it's like that, and then you go into this
- 45:50Speaker 2: scandal and it's like, okay, we need to bury this
- 45:53Speaker 2: Marcus thing. He's never going to be seen from, seen
- 45:55Speaker 2: and heard from again. It's all water under the bridge.
- 45:58Speaker 2: He's just some troll that showed up. Let's just wash
- 46:01Speaker 2: it away. Okay, good advice. I'm going to have a
- 46:06Speaker 2: meeting with Marcus and je and then I'm going to
- 46:08Speaker 2: bring him to this event and I'm going to show
- 46:10Speaker 2: everybody she does the absolute opposite and does too much
- 46:14Speaker 2: in the wrong direction.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Agreed, Wow, absolutely agreed. And that is why I do
- 46:20Speaker 1: like her for the show. I think she's going back
- 46:23Speaker 1: next season one hundred.
- 46:25Speaker 2: Only need the money so that you know, this is
- 46:28Speaker 2: like we talked about it from from the jump about
- 46:32Speaker 2: their money problems, and why would they be doing a
- 46:35Speaker 2: show like this. Why would Charles be so upset on
- 46:39Speaker 2: camera every time we see him. Why is he putting
- 46:41Speaker 2: up with this because he knows that she needs to
- 46:44Speaker 2: pay down the debt that she owes. He knows this,
- 46:47Speaker 2: He's going to support her. But I don't know what's
- 46:49Speaker 2: going to happen with them.
- 46:50Speaker 3: I really don't.
- 46:51Speaker 1: He's another one who was like, take this microphone off
- 46:53Speaker 1: of me. I'm done with this shit. Both him and
- 46:55Speaker 1: brittin the Real Is moments on the whole episode, they
- 46:58Speaker 1: were like, I'm over this ship because it's not real life,
- 47:02Speaker 1: and they I get it. They're like, this is dumb.
- 47:04Speaker 1: And also Charles Ugley is like, why you know, why
- 47:07Speaker 1: are you inventing drama? Why would you bring him to
- 47:10Speaker 1: the to the event, our beautiful event, Like I could
- 47:13Speaker 1: see why he's mad. And then they're gonna go home
- 47:15Speaker 1: and Angels and be like, Charles, I did it so
- 47:18Speaker 1: you can say it was Fader and he'll be like,
- 47:19Speaker 1: listen to yourself, this is all so dramatic. Like I
- 47:22Speaker 1: just don't understand. Could I have shown up at the event,
- 47:24Speaker 1: It said to Angela, Charles Oakley and I had an
- 47:27Speaker 1: unfair and she'd be like, perfect, let's have lunch. And
- 47:30Speaker 1: then I'm like, you know who told me that, Amy Phillips.
- 47:33Speaker 1: And then it's like she that she just invites you
- 47:35Speaker 1: and goes off on you at a Gayla event. It's
- 47:38Speaker 1: like that, it's that random.
- 47:40Speaker 2: It's so random, And that they would give him this
- 47:42Speaker 2: much time, she had to have either like blackmailed him
- 47:46Speaker 2: to tell a different narrative or story or paid him
- 47:50Speaker 2: off really well because for him to swing in the
- 47:53Speaker 2: other direction, and then for him to not come in
- 47:55Speaker 2: there and be.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Like Fedra texted me Charles.
- 47:59Speaker 2: I am sorry, Like you know, it seems like that
- 48:01Speaker 2: wouldn't have been too far from where they began, with
- 48:04Speaker 2: him coming in and with such an entrance and being
- 48:06Speaker 2: such a huge part of the show.
- 48:08Speaker 1: Completely she was like Marcus everyone and everyone was like why,
- 48:13Speaker 1: like the whole thing, and He's true, he already knew.
- 48:18Speaker 1: How does Marcus get a seat at the table? Is
- 48:20Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Where's the betting in this process? I'm
- 48:23Speaker 1: telling you it makes it makes a regular person living
- 48:26Speaker 1: in any city that a housewife show is on think
- 48:28Speaker 1: to themselves, do I just have to walk forward and
- 48:31Speaker 1: be like I know your husband and then get two episodes.
- 48:36Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, uh, I'm worried about behind it. I just
- 48:41Speaker 2: I'm a little worried that phagers behind it. I don't know,
- 48:44Speaker 2: because like, what does she have to lose.
- 48:46Speaker 1: At this point, I'm glad you said that. I too
- 48:51Speaker 1: was worried she's behind it, But my logical brain is
- 48:55Speaker 1: telling me that she would not be that careless this.
- 49:00Speaker 1: But it also we do know Faedra is dangerous. She's
- 49:05Speaker 1: charming as hell, but she's also a little bit nuts
- 49:09Speaker 1: and she she she wants. She very much cultivates her image.
- 49:15Speaker 1: She knows how to get on the show and say
- 49:18Speaker 1: funny things and be silly. She knows how to do it.
- 49:21Speaker 2: The second that she was on Traders and was a star,
- 49:27Speaker 2: she was like, I'm infallible and in anyways, I kind
- 49:31Speaker 2: of understand because tras if you guys have not seen
- 49:34Speaker 2: her on Traders, good, you gotta go and watch.
- 49:39Speaker 1: Then who said you don't let your husband see your son?
- 49:41Speaker 1: Was that Angela to Faedra or brit.
- 49:44Speaker 3: You don't let your husband see your son?
- 49:46Speaker 1: Someone was someone was shading her about Apollo at the
- 49:49Speaker 1: during the fight. Oh I remember that?
- 49:52Speaker 2: Wow, Yes, I should again, so, which is weird because
- 49:58Speaker 2: Faedra said it the very beginning, like we're great, we
- 50:01Speaker 2: co parents so well, and you know, so.
- 50:04Speaker 1: Again, I could say I'm a millionaire Amy and everyone
- 50:08Speaker 1: knows it's true. I'm not. We can say anything as
- 50:13Speaker 1: poor as a person can be, you know, anyone can
- 50:18Speaker 1: say anything. So she's like, yeah, Apollo and I have
- 50:20Speaker 1: a great relationship. But someone at that party was like,
- 50:22Speaker 1: you don't even let him see his kids, which I believe.
- 50:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that fight was nuts.
- 50:28Speaker 2: I want to see Angela come back. I do not
- 50:31Speaker 2: want to see Britt come back. Kelly absolutely yes, And
- 50:37Speaker 2: then they're just gonna have to and everybody else, they're
- 50:38Speaker 2: gonna have to fill in the links.
- 50:39Speaker 3: I totally want Drew back. I need Drew. I just
- 50:42Speaker 3: I just love her.
- 50:43Speaker 2: Now when they talk about when they have this, like
- 50:46Speaker 2: five months later thing, Portia has a court date for
- 50:51Speaker 2: her divorce and then and then all of a sudden,
- 50:55Speaker 2: Simon is detained by ice in Atlanta, and though those
- 51:01Speaker 2: producers and editors put up there, their divorce is on ice.
- 51:05Speaker 3: That is what they did.
- 51:06Speaker 1: It's a good line. That was a good line to him. Yeah,
- 51:11Speaker 1: I mean that divorce is nuts. Yeah, what's the whole thing.
- 51:14Speaker 1: There is a prenup. There is they were only married
- 51:17Speaker 1: for a very short amount of time. And the house
- 51:20Speaker 1: that she's in was that his house that he used
- 51:22Speaker 1: to live in with Farah.
- 51:23Speaker 2: No, they bought another house, so that's the other house
- 51:27Speaker 2: that they moved into when after they got married. Yeah,
- 51:30Speaker 2: they did have a prenup, so it was signed in
- 51:34Speaker 2: before their wedding.
- 51:35Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:36Speaker 1: Can I say shout out to Shamia's husband, what a sweetheart,
- 51:39Speaker 1: beautiful roses and also just their daughter is so cute
- 51:44Speaker 1: and also just him dropping probably three hundred thousand on
- 51:47Speaker 1: her doing that performance.
- 51:50Speaker 2: Yes, all right, well listen, we'll see these peaches in
- 51:55Speaker 2: a week. We'll see them at reunion. And uh I
- 52:00Speaker 2: did excited about that.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Oh well, did you know that there was a britt
- 52:04Speaker 1: Edie filed a twenty million dollar lawsuit against Bravo and
- 52:07Speaker 1: then dropped it that I was looking at that last
- 52:11Speaker 1: night on TikTok as I was continuing my research into
- 52:14Speaker 1: the early morning. And now she's saying that the pictures
- 52:18Speaker 1: that Kenya showed weren't her, which again I believe is untrue.
- 52:23Speaker 1: I think it is her, because why would you act
- 52:25Speaker 1: like it was you all the way until six months later,
- 52:27Speaker 1: and she will be doing cleanup for the for many years.
- 52:31Speaker 1: Based on one disastrous season on the Real Housewives of Atlanta,
- 52:35Speaker 1: this is going to go down in history.
- 52:38Speaker 2: There are rumors that, you know, allegedly Britt lost her
- 52:42Speaker 2: insurance license long before any before she was even on
- 52:46Speaker 2: the Housewives. So I don't yeah, yeah, yeah, okay. What
- 52:50Speaker 2: was the other thing on the reunion smoking mirrors?
- 52:53Speaker 1: She was always smoking merors the minute when she was
- 52:56Speaker 1: at that party and she was like, and then we'll
- 52:58Speaker 1: have our baby. I was like, am I watch? She
- 53:00Speaker 1: like yeah, that was Whatever happened to baby Jane? This
- 53:03Speaker 1: whole her whole personality. Something is a little opt.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Like have to and he's then is he real? Like
- 53:12Speaker 3: I don't know what.
- 53:13Speaker 1: Is his deal? Why were they in that? Why were
- 53:15Speaker 1: that very tiny private jet? What? What?
- 53:18Speaker 2: What the jet?
- 53:19Speaker 3: I can't believe we forgot to talk about that. What
- 53:21Speaker 3: in the hell.
- 53:22Speaker 1: It's like, if anyone can go to an airport and
- 53:24Speaker 1: tour a jet, Amy, you and I can show up
- 53:27Speaker 1: make airport and be like, we'd like to check out
- 53:29Speaker 1: the A seven five, Like what are they doing.
- 53:33Speaker 2: The eight seven five? Jamie loves an A seven five.
- 53:36Speaker 2: She's such a sucker.
- 53:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna fly. I need a pj A seven five.
- 53:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that was just it's just giving so much thirst
- 53:44Speaker 2: and not realness.
- 53:45Speaker 1: Yeah, not realness. It's like did they watch the shows?
- 53:48Speaker 1: And I just it's giving manufactured by us in a room.
- 53:53Speaker 1: How can we How can we do this, Mike? We
- 53:56Speaker 1: need to make it look like we're rich. Okay, you
- 53:58Speaker 1: need to make sure they don't know that you don't
- 54:00Speaker 1: have your license anymore. Good. We need to make sure
- 54:03Speaker 1: that you and your sisters get you know, like it's
- 54:06Speaker 1: just give me.
- 54:06Speaker 2: She basically like, oh, I've lot let me show you
- 54:10Speaker 2: what my storyline can bring for next season. I've lost
- 54:13Speaker 2: my insurance license, so now I need to jump back
- 54:15Speaker 2: from that. Oh, I'm finally talking to my family again
- 54:18Speaker 2: after years and we are actually might be planning a
- 54:22Speaker 2: wedding and might have a baby.
- 54:24Speaker 3: It's like, oh my god, could you lay it on
- 54:26Speaker 3: any thicker?
- 54:27Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 54:27Speaker 3: And by the way, we don't want to see it, so.
- 54:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, very strange. And then the other thing I
- 54:33Speaker 1: wanted to say is at the reunion, that little fight
- 54:37Speaker 1: between Shemi and Portia. It brings me back to what
- 54:40Speaker 1: I said three or four episodes ago to you. When
- 54:43Speaker 1: the moms are fighting, it's very bad. Oh, it's hard
- 54:46Speaker 1: to come back from mom fightings.
- 54:49Speaker 3: Yes, it is, sure.
- 54:50Speaker 1: How can you remain best friends? If imagine if your
- 54:53Speaker 1: sweet mom and my sweet mom hated each other and
- 54:56Speaker 1: we're posting about it on social media. It would be
- 54:59Speaker 1: so hard for us.
- 55:01Speaker 2: Livinia and Madeleine just going at it, Yeah, just going
- 55:04Speaker 2: at it about like the.
- 55:05Speaker 3: Most intellectual way.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Yeah, like human was like, yeah, I beg your pardon,
- 55:14Speaker 2: but I must message the community about my most recent
- 55:19Speaker 2: unfortunate events with dear Lavinia. As stated previously, my original
- 55:26Speaker 2: copy of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein I lent her in the
- 55:32Speaker 2: ripe year of two thousand and eight. She claims she
- 55:37Speaker 2: no longer has it.
- 55:39Speaker 3: What say you?
- 55:40Speaker 1: Yeah, my buttle is like dearest question mark, Madeleine, as
- 55:47Speaker 1: Haarrah and Athena had a battle upon the fields of
- 55:52Speaker 1: Zeus's land of Harah, you also have betrayed me upon
- 55:57Speaker 1: putting this to the social medias that I have not
- 56:00Speaker 1: turned your book like it'd be so hilarious. But like
- 56:03Speaker 1: beginning you think about how.
- 56:05Speaker 2: Spovsky's third could never express my anger more.
- 56:10Speaker 1: Shakespeare once said, for thine borrower, Shama lender b Yeah,
- 56:17Speaker 1: that's nuts. And also though like, imagine this, and I
- 56:20Speaker 1: bet every darling could agree. You don't come for my mom.
- 56:24Speaker 1: So if someone says something to me about my mom,
- 56:27Speaker 1: that's where again fighting words happened. And it was hard
- 56:31Speaker 1: for me because my mom was a theater professor in
- 56:34Speaker 1: Detroit when I was in theater, and I knew there
- 56:36Speaker 1: were people in my midst who did not like her
- 56:39Speaker 1: because she didn't cast them. Oh, and I was always looking.
- 56:42Speaker 1: I'd be like, what do you think of my mom?
- 56:46Speaker 1: Love Levin, I'd be.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Like, okay, gay right, right right.
- 56:50Speaker 1: So that is something that I said to you weeks ago.
- 56:54Speaker 1: This mom thing is going to be the hardest one
- 56:57Speaker 1: to get over for these two girls.
- 57:00Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 57:01Speaker 2: And meanwhile, we're over on Next Gen n YC with
- 57:06Speaker 2: with Jea and Riley, whose moms haven't talked in years.
- 57:11Speaker 2: But it's different because it's you know, they've really been
- 57:15Speaker 2: separated for a long time. They were you know, so
- 57:17Speaker 2: those two.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Were girls, Shemiah and and Portrait grew up as best
- 57:21Speaker 1: friends and the moms were also best friends.
- 57:25Speaker 3: It's Bad's not gonna go well.
- 57:26Speaker 1: It's not wait for the reunion.
- 57:28Speaker 3: So okay, well, Jamie, talk about the husband. I love
- 57:33Speaker 3: when you do that. It makes me laugh so far.
- 57:36Speaker 2: It's like your favorite too, when Renna does that, right,
