- 0:00Speaker 1: Tampa Bay's best music is Magic 94.9.
- 0:04Speaker 2: And welcome to a new episode of Scotty and Abby Unfiltered.
- 0:07Speaker 2: We got a little celebration going on right now. Abby,
- 0:09Speaker 2: welcome to the next level of fame on the Huffington Post.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Oh, this is the future of my stardom, getting interviewed
- 0:16Speaker 1: for a web article online.
- 0:18Speaker 3: Well, you know what?
- 0:19Speaker 2: I think with everyone talking about it, there's some posts
- 0:21Speaker 2: that are going kind of under the radar. There's some
- 0:23Speaker 2: people that are really starting to pop off, and you're
- 0:25Speaker 2: one of them. But what's kind of cool is, Yesterday
- 0:28Speaker 2: you were talking to us about what you were putting
- 0:30Speaker 2: in the responses. Did you find that you were represented
- 0:34Speaker 2: properly in that interview?
- 0:35Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean, it was me and I think three
- 0:38Speaker 1: other women who were interviewed for this article in the
- 0:40Speaker 1: Huffington Post. I got an email a couple days ago from...
- 0:44Speaker 1: This lady named Brittany Wong. And she was just like,
- 0:48Speaker 1: give me an answer about how you felt about Shane
- 0:51Speaker 1: Gillis's monologue, which if you haven't seen at this point,
- 0:53Speaker 1: please just Google it.
- 0:53Speaker 3: Yeah, I think everyone's seen it.
- 0:55Speaker 1: He had a joke and he called women whores. And
- 0:58Speaker 1: I had a reaction to it. I really didn't care
- 1:00Speaker 1: that much until I posted it. And then I probably
- 1:03Speaker 1: had nine, 10,000 men calling me a whore, slut, con,
- 1:08Speaker 1: like all these horrible things. I'm like, you guys are
- 1:10Speaker 1: proving my point that you guys just like, aren't funny.
- 1:12Speaker 1: You're just mean. And what's crazy is if you go
- 1:15Speaker 1: to my profile and if you go to look for
- 1:17Speaker 1: those videos, Instagram actually took them off my page.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Really?
- 1:22Speaker 1: Not wild. That's ridiculous. One of them is still up
- 1:26Speaker 1: and it's the one that like I'm fine with. It's
- 1:27Speaker 1: the one where I... make a joke about shangulas yeah
- 1:31Speaker 1: but the two ones that are probably the most volatile
- 1:35Speaker 1: they're still up like i'm still getting notifications for them
- 1:38Speaker 1: but they're not on my instagram page.
- 1:41Speaker 2: So you think okay because this is let me dive
- 1:43Speaker 2: into this so you think instagram removed them from your
- 1:46Speaker 2: page because it just got too like i don't.
- 1:48Speaker 1: Know yeah i think they were like this girl's gonna
- 1:49Speaker 1: kill herself i was like you guys how about you
- 1:52Speaker 1: just silence my notifications so i don't have to see
- 1:55Speaker 1: it like i'm You know what I mean? Like I'm
- 1:57Speaker 1: actively posting like I would have done it by now.
- 1:59Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 2:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I mean, it's just at the same time.
- 2:01Speaker 2: It's just kind of interesting that you would take that down.
- 2:04Speaker 3: I don't know. You could have silenced your notifications, too, though,
- 2:07Speaker 3: the whole thing.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Well, I mean, my notifications, I don't get like on
- 2:09Speaker 1: my phone right now. My phone's blown up, but my
- 2:11Speaker 1: home page is just fine. But if I go on
- 2:13Speaker 1: Instagram and I click on my notification.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Oh, then you see the whole.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Then you can see the whole laundry list. And I
- 2:18Speaker 1: don't know how I just like don't want to see them.
- 2:22Speaker 1: It's not that I, like, don't want people commenting because,
- 2:24Speaker 1: by all means, give me the... This is the highest
- 2:26Speaker 1: my engagement has ever been. Yeah, yeah. I currently have 3.8
- 2:29Speaker 1: million views on my profile.
- 2:30Speaker 3: That's crazy. Oh, my God.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I got over 1,000 followers, all the things, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 2:36Speaker 1: Boring influencer dynamic stuff. But, yeah, I don't know, man.
- 2:40Speaker 3: It's just weird. That's so.
- 2:41Speaker 2: Did you expect that when you're, like, going for this post?
- 2:43Speaker 2: Because it's... You can never expect something like that to
- 2:46Speaker 2: just blow up. But you throw it up there and
- 2:48Speaker 2: it's just like.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I was hoping I was going to get like 10,000
- 2:51Speaker 1: likes and a 50-50 split in the comments about like
- 2:53Speaker 1: whether he should have said it or not. And I
- 2:56Speaker 1: did not expect it to just hit like a very
- 2:57Speaker 1: specific algorithm where like it's actually kind of cruel. Like
- 3:02Speaker 1: the things that people are saying, I'm like, it's not.
- 3:06Speaker 1: That could have a joke for you to say this
- 3:09Speaker 1: with your wife in your profile picture. And so I've
- 3:11Speaker 1: replied to a couple of people because. it is shocking
- 3:14Speaker 1: and like really disappointing. You'll click on their profile and
- 3:16Speaker 1: I'd be like, I just wonder who this person is.
- 3:18Speaker 1: And nine times out of 10, it's either a photo
- 3:20Speaker 1: of them with their wife on their wedding day or
- 3:22Speaker 1: the bio will say Christ is King doing it for
- 3:25Speaker 1: an audience of one, that kind of thing. And I'm like, Yeah,
- 3:28Speaker 1: they're crazy. Like if you want to say crazy stuff
- 3:30Speaker 1: like that, it's totally fine. But don't bring Jesus into this.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Like that's insane to me.
- 3:33Speaker 2: Yeah, that's so weird about the social media cultures. People
- 3:36Speaker 2: just like they pop off. Yeah, they have like these
- 3:39Speaker 2: two different. I just imagine someone going to work right now.
- 3:42Speaker 2: They're like talking with their coworkers. They're all friendly.
- 3:44Speaker 3: And then they get on their online profile.
- 3:45Speaker 1: They're like, yeah, no, it's wild. So anyway, I got
- 3:49Speaker 1: an email from Brittany Wong and she just asked me
- 3:51Speaker 1: a couple of questions and then I sent them back.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Glad I talked to our boss about it first because
- 3:56Speaker 1: I didn't realize I'm technically not allowed to talk to
- 3:58Speaker 1: the media. Oh, really? I mean, I kind of suspected
- 4:01Speaker 1: that because when not to bring things back to being
- 4:03Speaker 1: in a sorority. But when I was in my sorority,
- 4:05Speaker 1: the only person I could talk to the media was
- 4:07Speaker 1: the president. And not that you'd get in some big trouble.
- 4:09Speaker 1: But like if Fox News came and said, hey, how
- 4:11Speaker 1: do you feel about Greek like fat Florida? The only
- 4:13Speaker 1: person that can speak is the president. So I kind
- 4:16Speaker 1: of figured because I've learned everything I've ever learned about
- 4:18Speaker 1: business from my sorority. I was like, let me check
- 4:20Speaker 1: to make sure I can talk to the press. Even
- 4:22Speaker 1: though I'm sure it's fine. And then I went in
- 4:23Speaker 1: and she's like, oh yeah, you can't talk to the press.
- 4:25Speaker 1: And I was like, okay. So anyway, I can talk
- 4:28Speaker 1: to the press just with approval.
- 4:29Speaker 3: There you go. Just had to do your due diligence.
- 4:31Speaker 1: So it was me and Jenna just workshopping things yesterday
- 4:33Speaker 1: being like, how does this sound? Is this hit land? Whatever, blah, blah, blah.
- 4:36Speaker 2: Were there anybody that they, did they pull anybody for
- 4:38Speaker 2: the HuffPost that was on like, I guess the Shane
- 4:42Speaker 2: Gillis team?
- 4:43Speaker 1: No, it was, I mean, I will say it's a
- 4:44Speaker 1: completely biased article against Shane Gillis and I'm not, sure
- 4:48Speaker 1: where the huffington post leans on i mean i would
- 4:51Speaker 1: assume it's a liberal leading media but yeah it was
- 4:54Speaker 1: definitely a not an attack piece against him but it
- 4:58Speaker 1: was like these are women's experiences is what we're going
- 5:01Speaker 1: through there was no it wasn't a balanced article not
- 5:04Speaker 1: that i'm criticizing it for not being balanced but it
- 5:05Speaker 1: was definitely more on like a one take pony.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Yeah. And that's what I was wondering.
- 5:09Speaker 2: Cause I do like to see the different opinions because
- 5:11Speaker 2: I do find it fascinating that somebody can see that
- 5:13Speaker 2: and be like.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Well, I'm going to stick up. I know.
- 5:17Speaker 1: That's what's crazy to me is you're willing people on
- 5:19Speaker 1: the internet will stick up for anything. If it means
- 5:21Speaker 1: being antagonistic, just like I said, with my, um, with
- 5:25Speaker 1: my video about joking about wanting to date the criminal,
- 5:29Speaker 1: the alleged criminals in Tampa Bay. I'm like, I wanted
- 5:32Speaker 1: to be a little bit more critical about certain charges.
- 5:35Speaker 1: And then there's people in the comments defending those charges.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean?
- 5:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:40Speaker 1: And listen, like I'm not going to sit on my
- 5:41Speaker 1: soapbox and be holier than thou, but a DUI, you
- 5:43Speaker 1: know what I mean? Like I've had a glass of
- 5:45Speaker 1: wine and like ridden a bike before, you know what
- 5:47Speaker 1: I mean? So I get it.
- 5:49Speaker 3: It's just fascinating.
- 5:50Speaker 2: The online world, everyone gets to go, like you said before,
- 5:53Speaker 2: the town square and just let it rip. I wonder,
- 5:55Speaker 2: do you think anything comes from it from Shane Gillis
- 5:57Speaker 2: on this?
- 5:59Speaker 1: No, I think his team is going to be like,
- 6:00Speaker 1: shut up. And he's going to be like, okay.
- 6:02Speaker 3: And he just continues forward.
- 6:03Speaker 1: I think he's going to be thrilled to shut up.
- 6:05Speaker 1: He didn't want to do any work for the monologue
- 6:06Speaker 1: to actually make it funny. And I don't think he's
- 6:08Speaker 1: going to want to do the work to put out
- 6:09Speaker 1: a PR statement to make it better. And really, like,
- 6:12Speaker 1: what is— he' s just going to stir up more controversy, which
- 6:14Speaker 1: maybe he would want, because if he apologizes, he loses
- 6:19Speaker 1: his entire fan base. Correct. But if he doubles down,
- 6:21Speaker 1: you're really going to start inciting wars with women.
- 6:24Speaker 3: Wow, what a crazy thing.
- 6:26Speaker 2: That is just— it' s so unexpected of, like, all of a
- 6:28Speaker 2: sudden— and this— It really is like a pattern. Like it
- 6:31Speaker 2: feels like every week there's a new thing that's like
- 6:33Speaker 2: just a massive deal on social media.
- 6:36Speaker 3: And this next week there'll be something else.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Yeah, it's the news cycle.
- 6:38Speaker 2: It's just the wave that we're constantly following. But it
- 6:41Speaker 2: also is exhausting because at every moment you're like, all right, what's.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Going to be next? Enraged, upset. And then there'll be
- 6:48Speaker 3: something else. And it's enraged.
- 6:50Speaker 2: That's the, you know, the downfall of socials because I'm like,
- 6:53Speaker 2: that would be nice to take a chill.
- 6:54Speaker 3: You know, but I understand that those aren't the things
- 6:56Speaker 3: that take a click.
- 6:57Speaker 1: I know. Let's just laugh. Let's just giggle. Bring that giggling.
- 7:00Speaker 2: I'll have something that's a little funny. Besides that, has
- 7:03Speaker 2: there any other teams that have reached out to you?
- 7:05Speaker 2: Because sometimes when it's one, there's a bunch that come
- 7:08Speaker 2: pouring into the inbox.
- 7:09Speaker 1: Well, I'm getting cookies dropped off by Chill Bros today.
- 7:11Speaker 1: That's exciting.
- 7:12Speaker 3: That's for other reasons.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Maybe they saw that and they're like, this girl needs
- 7:16Speaker 1: a sweet treat.
- 7:16Speaker 3: That's sweet.
- 7:17Speaker 1: This girl's getting called a horse-like cunt in her comments
- 7:19Speaker 1: all day. Okay, so that's... No, I think they just
- 7:22Speaker 1: want me to review their new cookie.
- 7:24Speaker 3: I mean, you talk about them all the time with
- 7:26Speaker 3: Chill Bros, with how good they are.
- 7:27Speaker 1: I need to start charging, but I'm like, whatever, I'll
- 7:29Speaker 1: take the cookies.
- 7:29Speaker 3: Yeah, take the cookies.
- 7:30Speaker 2: But also, I mean, you could talk to Alexia and
- 7:32Speaker 2: get like a PR package and set up where you
- 7:35Speaker 2: could actually reach out to these local businesses. And even
- 7:37Speaker 2: if it's not a lot, it is them getting advertising
- 7:41Speaker 2: from you. And, you know, whether it's not even on
- 7:44Speaker 2: the radio, maybe it's just your socials, that's a lot
- 7:47Speaker 2: of eyes.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Especially right now. You got thousands of eyes getting put
- 7:50Speaker 3: on you right now.
- 7:51Speaker 1: I know. So many people looking at me. Look away.
- 7:55Speaker 2: I was going to say, does it feel like, I
- 7:57Speaker 2: don't know, besides the Shane Gillis part of it, does
- 8:00Speaker 2: it feel like a fish in.
- 8:03Speaker 3: A tank a little bit? Do you feel like you're
- 8:04Speaker 3: constantly being watched?
- 8:07Speaker 1: None of my socials, no. No?
- 8:08Speaker 2: No.
- 8:08Speaker 3: You don't mind all the.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Yeah, because, I mean, at the end of the day, like,
- 8:11Speaker 1: any attention is good attention. And I think I'm better
- 8:14Speaker 1: at that at this age to where I kind of
- 8:16Speaker 1: just give less of a shit.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Yes.
- 8:18Speaker 3: That's good.
- 8:18Speaker 1: I'm just sort of like, whatever. Like I would at
- 8:21Speaker 1: this point, because my career is so dependent on how
- 8:24Speaker 1: much people talk about me, I'm, I kind of don't
- 8:27Speaker 1: care so much that it's negative attention because I'm like,
- 8:30Speaker 1: at the very least I'm doing something rather than nothing.
- 8:34Speaker 1: You know, I'd rather, I'd rather throw my, uh, Throw
- 8:38Speaker 1: my ball on the court or whatever the people say.
- 8:39Speaker 1: I'd rather get in the game rather than sit out
- 8:41Speaker 1: because I'm afraid of someone, some loser in their basement
- 8:44Speaker 1: calling me a slut.
- 8:44Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's one of the biggest lessons that
- 8:46Speaker 2: we have in this industry is like you need to
- 8:48Speaker 2: have an opinion. You can't just be wallpaper. People don't
- 8:51Speaker 2: care about wallpaper. Every day they deal with other wallpapers.
- 8:54Speaker 2: They want to have somebody that has something to say,
- 8:56Speaker 2: whether they agree with it or disagree with it.
- 8:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:59Speaker 3: And you do a good job at that. That's really cool.
- 9:01Speaker 3: I mean, it's cool that you're at least featured. It's
- 9:03Speaker 3: blown up. It does suck, though, that so many people
- 9:04Speaker 3: are so cruel in the comments with it.
- 9:06Speaker 1: Shout out to Huffington Post. Appreciate you for reaching out. Thanks, Brittany. Thanks,
- 9:11Speaker 1: reporter Brittany Wong.
- 9:13Speaker 2: So in the next couple of weeks, so we got
- 9:14Speaker 2: a couple of big trips coming up. We talked about
- 9:16Speaker 2: how I'm going to Chicago for Brianda's birthday.
- 9:19Speaker 3: We're going to see one of our favorite bands, Sammy
- 9:22Speaker 3: Ray and the Friends.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Very fun. Looking forward to that for you.
- 9:24Speaker 2: Cannot wait to do a little, like, escape. It's fun
- 9:27Speaker 2: to have something to look forward to. Because all of
- 9:29Speaker 2: a sudden, the weeks start flying by. Or is your
- 9:31Speaker 2: plan still to go to Miami?
- 9:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I go to Miami next weekend.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Yeah. What do you all... Okay, because last time you
- 9:36Speaker 3: went to Miami, it was to see Five Sauce.
- 9:39Speaker 2: Yes. What are you going to be doing in Miami now?
- 9:41Speaker 2: Because I haven't been... I grew up down south. And
- 9:43Speaker 2: then I moved to, like, Hollywood, Florida. And then I
- 9:45Speaker 2: moved to Vero Beach, Florida. So I was never old
- 9:47Speaker 2: enough to do the whole Miami scene. The closest I
- 9:49Speaker 2: got to was, like... Spring break, Fort Lauderdale, doing that
- 9:53Speaker 2: whole downtown thing.
- 9:56Speaker 3: But I never did the whole Miami thing.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I've never done the Miami thing either. But my
- 10:00Speaker 1: best friend from college is a dentist down there. And
- 10:02Speaker 1: she just moved there, I think, in like July or August.
- 10:05Speaker 1: And she just said, you need to come up for
- 10:07Speaker 1: a weekend. And I was like, you don't have to
- 10:08Speaker 1: ask me twice. Like a free stay in Miami, I'm there.
- 10:11Speaker 2: That's going to be a good time. Does she have
- 10:12Speaker 2: like an itinerary for you? Or is there anything that
- 10:15Speaker 2: you want to do in Miami?
- 10:16Speaker 1: No, she said, I mean, I think we're going to
- 10:17Speaker 1: go clubbing. I've never done. I'm not a big club gal.
- 10:20Speaker 1: So when she said, let's go check out some of
- 10:23Speaker 1: the Miami clubs, I was like, this will be a
- 10:24Speaker 1: perfect one and done. She's my favorite person to go
- 10:26Speaker 1: out with because we both just have the same idea
- 10:29Speaker 1: of fun. We want to wear a fun outfit. We
- 10:31Speaker 1: want to get a fun drink. We want to listen
- 10:32Speaker 1: to fun music and we want to be home by
- 10:34Speaker 1: 2 a.m.
- 10:34Speaker 3: That's wow. You know what I mean? I was going
- 10:36Speaker 3: to say midnight, but 2 a.m. is also good.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Yeah, like she's a perfect example of a friend that
- 10:39Speaker 1: I get along with just because we have the same
- 10:41Speaker 1: idea of fun. Like we have been friends for 11
- 10:43Speaker 1: years because we just like the same things. Our lives
- 10:46Speaker 1: have changed so much. I've lived in different cities. We'll
- 10:49Speaker 1: go stretches of time without talking. But at the end
- 10:51Speaker 1: of the day, like our friendship lasts because we're like,
- 10:53Speaker 1: we both just want to have.
- 10:54Speaker 3: A good time. That's so nice.
- 10:55Speaker 2: That's so refreshing, especially what you just said there, where
- 10:57Speaker 2: you could go just lengths of time without talking to somebody.
- 11:00Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:00Speaker 2: And as soon as you get with them, there's no
- 11:03Speaker 2: hard feelings. They don't feel like, you've been ignoring me.
- 11:07Speaker 2: Because I've dealt with that recently, where it's like, you know,
- 11:10Speaker 2: if you don't talk to a friend all the time,
- 11:12Speaker 2: they put it in their mind that you're just not friends.
- 11:14Speaker 2: And I've had that conversation where I'm like, No, we're
- 11:17Speaker 2: just about to be in our 30s and this life
- 11:19Speaker 2: is busy.
- 11:20Speaker 1: And I think most people are like that where it's
- 11:22Speaker 1: like you talk to the people at work and then
- 11:24Speaker 1: you talk to maybe your girlfriend or your boyfriend or
- 11:26Speaker 1: maybe your parents and like one or two other friends
- 11:28Speaker 1: that you're making plans with. And outside of that, like
- 11:31Speaker 1: I don't really gab with people. And so if I'm
- 11:33Speaker 1: not chatting with you frequently, even like somebody again, like
- 11:36Speaker 1: my friend Virginia, she's I consider her a best friend.
- 11:39Speaker 1: I talk to her. via Instagram reels. Do you know
- 11:43Speaker 1: what I mean?
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yes.
- 11:44Speaker 1: And so, yeah, if we're not gabbing, we're totally fine
- 11:48Speaker 1: because we're like, we have the rest of our lives
- 11:50Speaker 1: to chat with each other.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I like when people are very understanding of that situation.
- 11:53Speaker 2: It's like they got their own thing going. You have
- 11:55Speaker 2: to have your own thing.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Going as well.
- 11:57Speaker 3: 100%. That's going to be a good time. I'm scared
- 11:59Speaker 3: of the clubbing scene in Miami.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Like, I don't think I could actually handle it because
- 12:03Speaker 2: videos look insane with that place.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I'm scared because I feel like Miami is such a
- 12:07Speaker 1: big human trafficking city that I'm like, girl, we need
- 12:10Speaker 1: to like bring drink test strips. We got to be
- 12:12Speaker 1: like we're almost she's 30. I'm almost 30. I'm like,
- 12:15Speaker 1: we don't club the same.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Way we used to club. Hell no.
- 12:18Speaker 1: We're like head on swivels. We're looking around. We're testing
- 12:21Speaker 1: the drinks. We're going home by one.
- 12:24Speaker 2: That's actually so wild to think of, because I have
- 12:26Speaker 2: to imagine because I was thinking about this this morning
- 12:28Speaker 2: as I'm about to be.
- 12:29Speaker 3: 30 on Sunday.
- 12:30Speaker 2: I was like, man, there's a lot of times in
- 12:32Speaker 2: your 20s. That, you know, things that could have killed
- 12:36Speaker 2: me in my 20s.
- 12:37Speaker 3: I know.
- 12:38Speaker 2: It's like whether it's going out extremely late or blacking
- 12:42Speaker 2: out or like going in someone random's car. All these
- 12:45Speaker 2: random things that, you know, when you're 30 or hopefully,
- 12:48Speaker 2: you know, around this age and you get older, you
- 12:50Speaker 2: just learn.
- 12:51Speaker 3: All right. I think I've used all like nine lives
- 12:54Speaker 3: of a cat. Yeah.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Like I can't risk it anymore. But it is crazy
- 12:57Speaker 2: to think like there's so many times you go out there.
- 13:00Speaker 2: And you just are so nonchalant about it. You don't
- 13:02Speaker 2: even think about these things.
- 13:04Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 13:05Speaker 3: That's the thing that's crazy. You're going to see it
- 13:07Speaker 3: everywhere in Miami.
- 13:07Speaker 1: I should have died several times, but in the moment
- 13:09Speaker 1: I didn't know. But now I feel like when you
- 13:11Speaker 1: know you're about to die, you're like, yeah, my frontal
- 13:13Speaker 1: lobe has developed. I'm seeing this happen in real time.
- 13:15Speaker 3: Hell yeah. I'd like to have something.
- 13:16Speaker 1: It's funny because I feel like, and I don't know
- 13:18Speaker 1: if life just changed so much post-COVID, but I feel like.
- 13:22Speaker 1: I look back on my times in New York or
- 13:24Speaker 1: living in Gainesville. There are so many times where I
- 13:25Speaker 1: was so vulnerable and I was so fine. And then
- 13:28Speaker 1: I feel like there have been times where I put
- 13:30Speaker 1: myself in a position where I thought I was going
- 13:31Speaker 1: to be fine and then things were not fine. So
- 13:33Speaker 1: I'm like, I don't know if I've just become more
- 13:35Speaker 1: of a target after 25 or if I just realized
- 13:38Speaker 1: that I'm more of a target now.
- 13:39Speaker 2: That's a good question because you obviously are way better
- 13:43Speaker 2: at thinking through these things and keeping your head on
- 13:45Speaker 2: a swivel. But it's almost as if when you get
- 13:47Speaker 2: in a situation where you think you're safe and the
- 13:50Speaker 2: head's not swiveling all the time, Of course, it's easier
- 13:52Speaker 2: for something to arise.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, like I've been hammered in Central Park at 2 a.m.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Like I shouldn't have been there. I could have easily
- 13:57Speaker 1: got murdered. I've been on a subway by myself, surrounded
- 14:01Speaker 1: by rats and like random men. And I was fine.
- 14:04Speaker 1: I was like, whatever, not thinking much of it. And
- 14:05Speaker 1: then here I am, you know, head on a swivel,
- 14:08Speaker 1: drink test strips, and I'm like getting drugged in bars.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And yeah, it's wild.
- 14:12Speaker 2: It is something that you've actually, I think on this
- 14:14Speaker 2: podcast alone, but even just talking to you here, it's
- 14:17Speaker 2: like those little things. sometimes you look at them like, yeah,
- 14:20Speaker 2: when would that ever happen? But like even the drink
- 14:22Speaker 2: test strips, what a good thing just to have on
- 14:25Speaker 2: you all the time. But again, I've never, I don't
- 14:28Speaker 2: even think I've ever seen them. You just get them
- 14:30Speaker 2: on Amazon.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I mean, I've never, I always bring them out with me,
- 14:34Speaker 1: but I don't think I've ever actually used them in
- 14:35Speaker 1: practice because it's one of those things that feels so
- 14:38Speaker 1: excessive because 99% of the time it is absolutely like unnecessary.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Like if I'm at Burns, I'm not going to like put,
- 14:45Speaker 1: My drink test strip and my glass of wine. You
- 14:47Speaker 1: know what I mean? But there have been times where, again,
- 14:48Speaker 1: I thought I was totally fine. Like, when I went
- 14:51Speaker 1: to that Mexican restaurant by myself back in April.
- 14:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:53Speaker 1: And I really... I don't think I was drugged. But
- 14:58Speaker 1: at the same time, I'm like, damn, I only had
- 15:00Speaker 1: one margarita. And I, like, went home and, like, threw
- 15:02Speaker 1: up everywhere. Didn't really remember getting home. I'm like, there's
- 15:05Speaker 1: just no way there was that much tequila in that drink. Yeah.
- 15:08Speaker 1: And I didn't sit there and think, oh, yeah, it's
- 15:10Speaker 1: broad daylight. I should test my drink right now.
- 15:12Speaker 3: That is wild, though. I mean, because.
- 15:14Speaker 2: I was just trying to think, we went to that
- 15:16Speaker 2: restaurant as well just a couple weeks ago.
- 15:19Speaker 3: My girlfriend got a margarita. Yeah. And we were the
- 15:22Speaker 3: only ones there, but, like, that margarita was strong.
- 15:24Speaker 1: It's a strong margarita.
- 15:25Speaker 3: It hit.
- 15:26Speaker 1: And so, you know what? I'm like, maybe that is
- 15:27Speaker 1: on me. Maybe they just do make them so strong
- 15:29Speaker 1: you don't realize it. But, I mean, I've definitely been
- 15:31Speaker 1: drugged once. For sure.
- 15:33Speaker 3: For sure. For sure.
- 15:34Speaker 1: And, again, what is a totally innocuous, like, Christmas bar
- 15:38Speaker 1: crawl that you don't even think, but it's just, like,
- 15:40Speaker 1: that one drink that could really, like, F you.
- 15:42Speaker 2: F up your life oh absolutely that's what it takes
- 15:44Speaker 2: it's like just the one and all of a sudden
- 15:46Speaker 2: you're like okay you could be in a very dangerous
- 15:48Speaker 2: situation it's very fascinating to see now like i pay
- 15:51Speaker 2: attention a lot more when i'm out and about especially
- 15:53Speaker 2: with brianda because my head just constantly searching i'm constantly
- 15:57Speaker 2: surveilling even when we go on runs like we'll go
- 16:00Speaker 2: on runs and we were running on the trail recently
- 16:02Speaker 2: and it's the sun was kind of setting and it's
- 16:04Speaker 2: fine everything's fine but I'll tell you what, anytime we
- 16:07Speaker 2: went by somebody, anytime a bike rode by, I feel
- 16:11Speaker 2: like a dang hawk just watching, making sure everything's okay.
- 16:14Speaker 2: And it just made me think the last time we
- 16:16Speaker 2: were out on a run, I was like, I couldn't
- 16:18Speaker 2: imagine what you and so many other women are thinking
- 16:21Speaker 2: when you're out just doing these things that should be
- 16:22Speaker 2: completely normal.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Yeah, and 99% of the time, it's fine. But there's
- 16:26Speaker 1: always that 1% that you might just not be prepared for.
- 16:30Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You don't know if something's ever going to happen. But
- 16:34Speaker 2: that means you have to be on guard all the time.
- 16:37Speaker 1: All the time. And so, you know, life is real fun.
- 16:39Speaker 1: So when women get a little sensitive about being called
- 16:42Speaker 1: a whore on national television, let's just give us a
- 16:44Speaker 1: little grace. You know what I mean? Because no one's
- 16:46Speaker 1: trying to abduct you, Shane Gillis. I've got to be
- 16:48Speaker 1: honest with you.
- 16:49Speaker 3: Hell no. I looked at that man's... Never mind. I'm
- 16:52Speaker 3: not going to... All right.
- 16:53Speaker 1: You looked at that man's what?
- 16:54Speaker 2: His little, he had these, like, he was talking about
- 16:56Speaker 2: the gym and then I just, I started being judgy myself.
- 16:58Speaker 3: And he has these little tiny arms and he just,
- 17:00Speaker 3: his body looks off. He looks weird.
- 17:03Speaker 1: Oh, you think he's like a T-Rex? Yes. Listen, I'm
- 17:05Speaker 1: not going to punch down without a good joke.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 1: But.
- 17:10Speaker 2: That's, you know, I don't like to, you know, throw
- 17:13Speaker 2: rocks either, but. It was just fascinating to see. But
- 17:16Speaker 2: going back to next weekend, as you go to Miami,
- 17:19Speaker 2: the weekend after that Halloween, we've talked a little bit
- 17:21Speaker 2: about the plans. I did get some more intel on
- 17:23Speaker 2: things going down in the Tampa Bay area.
- 17:25Speaker 1: Very fun.
- 17:26Speaker 3: What are you doing? Not necessarily what I'm doing. I
- 17:28Speaker 3: was going to throw it out at you. Okay. Or
- 17:30Speaker 3: give you ideas.
- 17:31Speaker 2: So we were talking to a friend that is going
- 17:33Speaker 2: to the Sapphire, which we've talked about here on the podcast.
- 17:35Speaker 1: So fun.
- 17:36Speaker 2: The Sapphire is going to be doing this, like, I
- 17:38Speaker 2: think it's like a masquerade kind of party.
- 17:41Speaker 1: That's a good time.
- 17:42Speaker 2: I think it would be a good idea if you
- 17:44Speaker 2: don't have plans already.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Yeah, I have. I have concepts of plans.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Concepts of plans. You have places in mind to go.
- 17:50Speaker 1: I have places in mind. I think I'll just kind
- 17:52Speaker 1: of go wherever my friends want to go. Do you
- 17:54Speaker 1: know what I mean?
- 17:54Speaker 2: Like.
- 17:55Speaker 1: I'm not a big Halloween gal, so I'm just like,
- 17:57Speaker 1: wherever you guys want to go, I'll put on a costume,
- 18:00Speaker 1: and let's just go hang out and listen to music somewhere.
- 18:02Speaker 2: So you said you like a theme, though, because when
- 18:04Speaker 2: I was talking about getting dressed up for Pig Jig
- 18:06Speaker 2: and putting on the cowboy hat and cowboy boots, you're
- 18:08Speaker 2: really supporting me in that vision.
- 18:09Speaker 3: You're like, get ready for the theme. Is that not
- 18:12Speaker 3: the same for you for costumes?
- 18:13Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know why. I think it's because Halloween
- 18:15Speaker 1: is every single year.
- 18:16Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 18:17Speaker 1: It's sort of like one of those things that you're
- 18:19Speaker 1: expected to dress up for where I'm like, There's so
- 18:21Speaker 1: much pressure to have a good costume. Whereas I feel
- 18:23Speaker 1: like I like a theme where it's like, oh, if
- 18:25Speaker 1: you're inviting me to your birthday party and there's a theme,
- 18:27Speaker 1: I'm like excited to go all out because there's not
- 18:29Speaker 1: an expectation. Whereas if you're like Halloween, you've got to
- 18:33Speaker 1: like have a really good costume.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I think that the bar is really high for women too.
- 18:37Speaker 1: The bar is high for women. You have to be,
- 18:39Speaker 1: you have to be funny, but also sexy, but not
- 18:41Speaker 1: too sexy. Cause then they're going to call you a whore.
- 18:44Speaker 1: It's gotta be, I get so, I put so much
- 18:47Speaker 1: pressure on it because I want people to be like, Oh,
- 18:48Speaker 1: that's so niche and clever. Like, of course somebody in
- 18:51Speaker 1: 2026 would make this costume. Like I prefer to choose
- 18:55Speaker 1: costumes that you could only really do that year. So
- 18:58Speaker 1: I love the pop culture costumes, but I can't think
- 19:00Speaker 1: of one. that I think resonates with my spirit this year.
- 19:05Speaker 2: I was going to ask because what moments in pop
- 19:07Speaker 2: culture this year stick out? Like when we were going on,
- 19:10Speaker 2: we were looking at some of the things from what's
- 19:13Speaker 2: the show off campus.
- 19:15Speaker 1: Yeah. You could do an off camp, but I feel
- 19:16Speaker 1: like it has to be a couple's costume for that one. Yeah.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Well it could, but it also could just, I mean
- 19:20Speaker 1: you could, but also there's nobody blonde in that show
- 19:23Speaker 1: unless you're a man.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Well, what color is, what's her name? Is it, isn't
- 19:26Speaker 3: her name Hannah? Yeah. Okay.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:28Speaker 3: What's she, she has brown hair.
- 19:30Speaker 1: Yeah, you watch the show.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Okay, quick tangent.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Something I've noticed about myself, I feel like I've had
- 19:36Speaker 2: a couple health things on this podcast. One thing that
- 19:38Speaker 2: I've noticed a lot is I can't remember anything anymore. Really?
- 19:41Speaker 1: Yes.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I had friends when we were in Key.
- 19:44Speaker 2: West, and we're talking about memories of like, I don't know,
- 19:47Speaker 2: living together just a couple of years ago, even college.
- 19:50Speaker 3: And they're like, do you remember this? Do you remember that?
- 19:51Speaker 3: I'm like, no, I have no recollection.
- 19:54Speaker 1: Scott was just hammered all of university.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I really was not.
- 19:57Speaker 2: It's just kind of weird because I'll have even like
- 19:59Speaker 2: that moment right there where I'm like off campus, I
- 20:01Speaker 2: can remember like the Halloween scene at the house and
- 20:04Speaker 2: the party and I can't remember what her hair color was.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I'm like, I don't remember the character. I just remember
- 20:09Speaker 2: like them looking at each other. Yeah.
- 20:11Speaker 3: That's weird. That's a weird spot in my brain. I
- 20:13Speaker 3: don't know. That is weird. Maybe that's normal. I don't know.
- 20:15Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 20:16Speaker 1: Maybe you should get that checked out.
- 20:17Speaker 3: I'm trying.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Did you ever get the heart scan that you were
- 20:19Speaker 1: talking about?
- 20:19Speaker 3: We're trying to set it up right now.
- 20:21Speaker 2: It's kind of funny because, you know, on the podcast,
- 20:23Speaker 2: I could talk about this, but to get the scan,
- 20:26Speaker 2: there's a company that we work with.
- 20:28Speaker 3: And so we're trying to set up kind of.
- 20:29Speaker 2: A, an endorsement deal with them where I go, I
- 20:32Speaker 2: get the scan and I talk about it on the show.
- 20:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 2: But I think there's a little bit of back and
- 20:37Speaker 2: forth going on right now. And so while they're trying
- 20:40Speaker 2: to figure out a deal, I'm still sitting over here like, guys,
- 20:43Speaker 2: like I know this is great for a sale. I
- 20:45Speaker 2: still want to just get my heart checked. You know,
- 20:47Speaker 2: it's as you all are waiting and making taking time.
- 20:50Speaker 2: I still want to figure out what's going on with
- 20:52Speaker 2: my body. Yeah, I think it's fine. But even, you know,
- 20:55Speaker 2: like I ran two days ago and as I'm running,
- 20:57Speaker 2: I'm like, what the hell?
- 20:59Speaker 1: You know, it's.
- 21:00Speaker 3: It's a weird feeling. It always happens in the same
- 21:02Speaker 3: part of my chest. Yeah. I don't know.
- 21:04Speaker 1: You might just be pushing yourself just like a little
- 21:06Speaker 1: bit too hard physically. I don't know.
- 21:08Speaker 3: I don't know. But I did learn.
- 21:10Speaker 2: I was talking to her because I got a coach
- 21:11Speaker 2: for this whole 100 miles. And she was telling me
- 21:14Speaker 2: a little bit about the research of what they've discovered
- 21:16Speaker 2: with people that have done long, long races like the Ironmans.
- 21:20Speaker 2: And they're like, well, since your heart's a muscle, it
- 21:22Speaker 2: takes so much time to recover, to heal after those
- 21:27Speaker 2: massive races. Because I was telling her, I was like, yeah,
- 21:29Speaker 2: I plan on doing the 100 miler. And she's like, okay,
- 21:32Speaker 2: that's awesome.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Cannot wait.
- 21:34Speaker 2: And we got to make sure we train for this
- 21:35Speaker 2: right because that is going to wear your heart out. Yeah.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Because you're going to be doing this for like 30 hours.
- 21:41Speaker 2: I don't have a problem with that. I like to
- 21:43Speaker 2: look at the science and make sure I'm doing it right.
- 21:45Speaker 2: But my thing is so many other people have done
- 21:47Speaker 2: it as well.
- 21:48Speaker 3: So why not me? Anyway, back to... Okay. That's why
- 21:51Speaker 3: I'm waiting for the scan, because I'm like, I would
- 21:52Speaker 3: like to do it free. That'd be awesome. I don't
- 21:54Speaker 3: want to pay for it.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 21:55Speaker 3: But I don't know how long I want to wait
- 21:56Speaker 3: before I'm like.
- 21:57Speaker 1: I wonder if your heart can get sore. You know,
- 21:58Speaker 1: like how your other muscles get sore?
- 22:00Speaker 2: That's a good question. That is a really good question.
- 22:02Speaker 2: I want to assume yes, because it is a muscle.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Uh-huh.
- 22:06Speaker 3: And maybe that's what I'm feeling. But, like, I'm taking
- 22:09Speaker 3: rest days. It's not like.
- 22:10Speaker 2: I'm not pushing to the max all the time. Like, it's...
- 22:13Speaker 2: You know, they have different zones for running. And I'm
- 22:15Speaker 2: staying on the lower zones. You know, zone two, where
- 22:18Speaker 2: it's just... you're able to do that for hours. So
- 22:21Speaker 2: I'm not pushing to the limit.
- 22:23Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 22:24Speaker 2: I think I might just say forget the partnerships. I'm
- 22:25Speaker 2: just going to go get scanned and make sure I'm
- 22:27Speaker 2: good everywhere because God forbid I wait too long.
- 22:30Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 22:31Speaker 2: All of a sudden my mind goes into a little
- 22:33Speaker 2: anxious spiral of everything that could go wrong with it.
- 22:36Speaker 2: So I don't even know where I was going with
- 22:37Speaker 2: that conversation. See, there's the memory thing.
- 22:39Speaker 3: That's what it was. The memory thing.
- 22:41Speaker 2: Pop culture costumes for it. Anyway, that's the one I
- 22:45Speaker 2: have off campus. But what are the other pop culture
- 22:47Speaker 2: moments that we've had this year That'd be worthy of
- 22:50Speaker 2: a costume.
- 22:51Speaker 1: The one that I was going to do, but it
- 22:52Speaker 1: only really makes sense if you have a guy to
- 22:54Speaker 1: do it with is a movie. There's a rom-com that
- 22:56Speaker 1: came out that's really popular with the girls called People
- 22:58Speaker 1: We Meet on Vacation. And there's a scene where she
- 23:01Speaker 1: wears like the bright blue wig and the disco pants.
- 23:04Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, that would be so fun. Like such
- 23:06Speaker 1: an easy costume.
- 23:07Speaker 3: It's cute.
- 23:08Speaker 1: It's just on brand enough. The girls will get it.
- 23:10Speaker 1: But if I just walk around, it's kind of boring
- 23:12Speaker 1: if I don't have like some loser and like a
- 23:13Speaker 1: white T-shirt. You know what I mean? I was like, oh,
- 23:15Speaker 1: that'd be funny to do with someone. But no.
- 23:16Speaker 3: Damn, that sucks.
- 23:17Speaker 2: If so many of these costumes are couples costumes, well,
- 23:20Speaker 2: you could do it with a friend.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Heated rivalry is a big one. That'd be easy. I know,
- 23:25Speaker 1: but I feel like if I'm not a guy, does
- 23:27Speaker 1: that make any sense? I don't know.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I didn't see it, but if you just wear
- 23:31Speaker 2: a heated rivalry jersey.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Doesn't that get the point across?
- 23:34Speaker 1: There's not a heated rivalry jersey, though. You got to
- 23:36Speaker 1: wear like a Bruins and a Canadians jersey.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Oh, okay.
- 23:40Speaker 1: Also, I'm not an Asian man. I guess I could
- 23:44Speaker 1: do Rose and all of that. I need to find
- 23:45Speaker 1: like an Asian friend. You bring Miranda with me.
- 23:48Speaker 3: Jesus Christ.
- 23:50Speaker 1: Miranda can be Shane. I'll be Ilya.
- 23:52Speaker 2: That would be a good pop culture moment. The shows
- 23:54Speaker 2: are a good one. I'm trying to think of anything
- 23:56Speaker 2: that popped off that maybe goes into the sports world
- 24:00Speaker 2: or the music world. Like Taylor Swift's had a lot
- 24:03Speaker 2: of moments this year as well.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, but her patient zero music video would just look
- 24:06Speaker 1: like me in a black dress. Oh.
- 24:08Speaker 2: You know?
- 24:08Speaker 3: Yeah, you don't want to explain it every time.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what I don't want to do. I want
- 24:11Speaker 1: people to be like, oh, you're Ilya Rosanov. I'm like, yes,
- 24:13Speaker 1: it is me.
- 24:14Speaker 2: I know, but that's the problem with niche, though. You're
- 24:16Speaker 2: going to walk and meet somebody like me, and I'm
- 24:18Speaker 2: going to be like, who? Who?
- 24:20Speaker 1: From what? But as long as the girls get it.
- 24:22Speaker 3: Okay, then the girls will.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I'm fine with that, because guys are going to come
- 24:24Speaker 1: up and ask you what you are no matter what,
- 24:26Speaker 1: because they're trying to hit on you, like, what's your costume?
- 24:28Speaker 1: And then you'd be like, well, have you seen the
- 24:30Speaker 1: gay sex show on HBO Max? Heated rivalry. Like, oh,
- 24:34Speaker 1: I've heard of that.
- 24:35Speaker 3: And they secretly watched it, but they're not going to
- 24:36Speaker 3: admit that they watched it.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I heard of that. I think my
- 24:39Speaker 1: ex-girlfriend watched it.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I have heard, even from a lot of my straight friends, too.
- 24:42Speaker 3: They loved it. I know, I'm straight. Oh, yeah, women
- 24:46Speaker 3: loved it. A lot of gay men I know loved it.
- 24:49Speaker 1: But a lot of.
- 24:49Speaker 2: Straight men I know have also loved it. I never
- 24:52Speaker 2: watched it. The only hockey one I got into was
- 24:54Speaker 2: off campus.
- 24:55Speaker 3: Absolutely.
- 24:56Speaker 1: I think every straight man's a little gay.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Just a little bit. Well, there's a spectrum.
- 24:59Speaker 2: Just a little.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Just a tad into the middle.
- 25:00Speaker 1: They're touching the spectrum.
- 25:01Speaker 3: Just a little bit of like a little right there.
- 25:04Speaker 1: They're like, it moved a little.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Now here, Jesus Christ.
- 25:08Speaker 2: I would say a lot of men, and this is
- 25:10Speaker 2: so silly for men not to admit this, but a
- 25:11Speaker 2: lot of men could, you could acknowledge another man and say,
- 25:14Speaker 2: that's a.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Good looking dude. Yes.
- 25:16Speaker 2: You know, like I think women do such a great job.
- 25:19Speaker 2: And I see Brianna do this all the time, my girlfriend,
- 25:21Speaker 2: where we go out and she will just compliment girls
- 25:25Speaker 2: all the way up, hype them up. It's one of
- 25:26Speaker 2: my favorite things to see when we're out and about
- 25:28Speaker 2: because they feel so good after that compliment.
- 25:32Speaker 3: I respect dudes that do that to other dudes.
- 25:34Speaker 1: It's funny because if a man just started hyping up
- 25:37Speaker 1: another man the way that women do, I would go, interesting.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Really?
- 25:40Speaker 3: You'd raise an eyebrow?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Well, not like, not like, oh, hey, man, you look
- 25:43Speaker 1: good tonight. Like, that's fine. But if like girls are
- 25:45Speaker 1: always like, oh, my God, you're an ethereal goddess sent
- 25:48Speaker 1: from Mother Earth to bless us with your presence. And
- 25:51Speaker 1: they're like, thank you. Whereas, like, can you imagine a
- 25:53Speaker 1: guy saying that to another guy being like, oh, my God,
- 25:55Speaker 1: are you the descendant of Tom Brady? Are you his
- 25:58Speaker 1: secret son? living in Clearwater, Florida.
- 26:02Speaker 3: That's a good.
- 26:02Speaker 1: You know what I mean? Like, it's like, you can
- 26:05Speaker 1: hype them up, but there's like a limit.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Well, now I'm wondering how much I've hyped up some
- 26:08Speaker 2: of my dudes, especially on this trip. Like, we got
- 26:10Speaker 2: this dude, and I just kept telling him, I was like, dude,
- 26:12Speaker 2: you look like a Greek god.
- 26:14Speaker 3: Because he's built. He's tan. He looks good.
- 26:17Speaker 1: I feel like that's normal. I feel like you get
- 26:19Speaker 1: one adjective as a man to describe other men.
- 26:21Speaker 3: Valid point.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I feel like you get to be like, you look
- 26:24Speaker 1: like Tom Brady. You look like Michael B.
- 26:27Speaker 3: Jordan. But you can't double down.
- 26:29Speaker 1: But you can't double down. You can't be like you
- 26:30Speaker 1: look like Michael B. Jordan's hotter, sexier cousin from another planet.
- 26:35Speaker 1: My God, your ass in those jeans. Like, that's when
- 26:38Speaker 1: you're like, okay.
- 26:38Speaker 3: Look at your body, man. It's glistening. Oh, dang. Now
- 26:41Speaker 3: I'm thinking about it. I think I did double down
- 26:42Speaker 3: a couple times. Oh, my God.
- 26:43Speaker 1: What did you say?
- 26:44Speaker 2: I was, like, talking about how I was like, you
- 26:45Speaker 2: look like a Greek god, man. I wish I could
- 26:47Speaker 2: be as tan as you. Look at the muscles on you, man.
- 26:50Speaker 2: And now we're three deep in.
- 26:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 26:52Speaker 1: Jeez.
- 26:52Speaker 2: Maybe that's why he's... Ding, ding, ding. Okay, well, you
- 26:55Speaker 2: know what? I guess I look at it... I would
- 26:57Speaker 2: like that. I would appreciate that.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, I like when dudes are like,
- 27:00Speaker 3: you know... What did I see? A dude yesterday at
- 27:03Speaker 3: the gym, and he goes by, he's like, man, look
- 27:06Speaker 3: at your pump. And I was like, thanks, bro. It
- 27:09Speaker 3: just does something to you, you know? It's like, acknowledge.
- 27:12Speaker 1: Once you start sounding like you're at a cat show,
- 27:14Speaker 1: I feel like maybe that's when it crosses the line. Like,
- 27:16Speaker 1: look at the build on this British short hair.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Wow, very long, lean.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Yeah, look at the coat on this one.
- 27:22Speaker 3: Look at that thing purr. Yeah.
- 27:24Speaker 2: I might have gone too far. We did get summoned
- 27:26Speaker 2: into a meeting, though. I do got to give you the.
- 27:29Speaker 1: No, what meeting?
- 27:30Speaker 2: We got a meeting with our boss, Jenna, who you
- 27:33Speaker 2: had the whole dissertation.
- 27:35Speaker 1: Huffington Post with?
- 27:36Speaker 3: Yeah. What meeting? We just got a message at, unless
- 27:40Speaker 3: it's just to me.
- 27:41Speaker 1: It's just you. All right.
- 27:42Speaker 3: Well, in that case, I mean, it was to our
- 27:44Speaker 3: group chat.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Oh.
- 27:47Speaker 2: But.
- 27:47Speaker 1: Swing by so we can hammer out this whore contest
- 27:50Speaker 1: we're going to do for magic. Wait, that's really funny.
- 27:52Speaker 1: Jenna hasn't told you about this.
- 27:54Speaker 3: That's funny.
- 27:56Speaker 1: Jenna called me while I was on a run yesterday.
- 27:58Speaker 1: In my horror outfit. And she goes, we need to
- 28:01Speaker 1: do some kind of giveaway for social maybe. And we're
- 28:06Speaker 1: going to give away gift cards to liaise on the label,
- 28:08Speaker 1: which was the... whore outfit I was wearing in my video.
- 28:11Speaker 3: That's so funny.
- 28:12Speaker 1: So we need to go hammer that out, allegedly.
- 28:15Speaker 3: Alright, there it is. Well, we'll be back tomorrow.
- 28:18Speaker 2: Leave a comment, and if you also are in the
- 28:20Speaker 2: Atlanta area and you're like, wait a second, that'd be awesome.
- 28:22Speaker 2: We've talked a little bit about the live show that
- 28:24Speaker 2: we're kind of putting together. Leave that in the comments,
- 28:27Speaker 2: whether you listen on Spotify.
- 28:28Speaker 3: Or on YouTube.
- 28:29Speaker 2: We go through those and we'll show our boss who's
- 28:31Speaker 2: actually interested if we potentially did a live show, a podcast,
- 28:36Speaker 2: and a hang in the new year coming up in
- 28:38Speaker 2: just a couple months.
