Ready for a Visit

She’d often have homemade cookies that she would plate up for us, along with a glass of cold milk. Or if she didn’t have any baked, then she would get out a package of cookies and serve them up. She welcomed us warmly, and our visits always ended with a hug. Those were some special times, and looking back now, I think she gave us a good example of pure love, like God offers us.
