Speaker 3: to the show. To start us off this morning, Charleston
• 2:53
Speaker 3: City Councilman Chad Robinson. Of course, he represents the area
• 2:56
Speaker 3: around Kanas City councilman, Good morning, Welcome to the show.
• 2:59
Speaker 3: Good morning, Dave. What a new impressive digs you have here?
• 3:03
Speaker 3: How bad is it? That's pretty nice. Welcome to the neighborhood, man,
• 3:05
Speaker 3: Welcome to the neighborhood. It's moving up in the world.
• 3:07
Speaker 3: It's going to be even better when we learn how
• 3:09
  Speaker 3: to operate it. That's right, that's now we're doing. We're
• 3:11
Speaker 3: doing pretty well with it. Uh. You know we got
• 3:14
Speaker 3: when we first came in here last week. You know,
• 3:16
Speaker 3: the old saying you don't know what you don't know,
• 3:18
Speaker 3: and so we came in it was like, hey, what
• 3:19
Speaker 3: does this button do? What does this do? And so luckily,
• 3:23
Speaker 3: you know, we got much smarter people on the other
• 3:25
Speaker 3: side of the glass, people like Ryan and Murphy and
• 3:27
Speaker 3: Coop and and Anthony Harmon. Those we left those people,
• 3:30
Speaker 3: but they just let me talk. Very impressive, it's very instive.
• 3:33
Speaker 3: Welcome to the show.
• 3:34
Speaker 5: How you been man, Good good busy times now a
• 3:36
Speaker 5: session uh in town and you know that keeps me
• 3:40
Speaker 5: busy for now with with all the city.
• 3:42
Speaker 3: Uh happenings as well. Yeah, and uh so uh you
• 3:47
Speaker 3: and I've had you on several times the last year
• 3:49
Speaker 3: and it's always seems to be the same theme and
• 3:51
  Speaker 3: that's and that's okay because you're a great representative for
• 3:54
Speaker 3: that area of Kadas City. You come on, you tell
• 3:56
Speaker 3: us and update this of what's going on. Light at
• 3:58
Speaker 3: the end of the tunnel, I believe.
• 4:00
  Speaker 6: So.
• 4:02
Speaker 5: I think this project for mccorkor Avenue started April eleventh,
• 4:05
Speaker 5: twenty twenty two, and the estimated finished was July twenty
• 4:10
Speaker 5: sixth of twenty twenty four. Well, they missed that date,
• 4:13
Speaker 5: but we're almost there. I think it looks like they're
• 4:17
Speaker 5: they're finishing up some of the little punch items and
• 4:21
Speaker 5: I've been told that this spring early summer that they
• 4:24
Speaker 5: should be finished up.
• 4:26
Speaker 3: And what for those who may not have heard your
• 4:28
Speaker 3: interviews in the past, and again you've been on the
• 4:29
Speaker 3: show several times, councilmen, what exactly were they doing there?
• 4:35
Speaker 5: Department of Highways did two phase project in m mccorkor
• 4:39
Speaker 5: Avenue from the hospital basically from the hospital to the
• 4:43
Speaker 5: mall in Kanas City.
• 4:45
Speaker 3: To eight block phases.
• 4:47
Speaker 5: The first was a more more with the culverts and
• 4:51
Speaker 5: things like that. The second phase is more of paving.
• 4:55
Speaker 5: But in the first phase, the second phase is finished.
• 4:58
Speaker 5: The first phase we're going to get new sidewalks, lights,
• 5:02
Speaker 5: We have new paving, new meetings.
• 5:05
  Speaker 6: All that.
• 5:06
Speaker 5: So I think what's left are the new lights. That
• 5:11
Speaker 5: there was a delay in receiving those because of the
• 5:14
Speaker 5: dimensions and the size and things like that. They I've
• 5:17
Speaker 5: been told they're in. They will be put in here
• 5:20
Speaker 5: the next wind the weather permits. Some sidewalks are finished,
• 5:23
Speaker 5: need to be finished, and then the new stoplights, things
• 5:27
Speaker 5: of that sort. I believe those are the big, big
• 5:29
Speaker 5: punch IIMs. They have to finish and we should see
• 5:32
Speaker 5: the end, hopefully, hopefully.
• 5:35
Speaker 3: I joked on here last week that I think model
• 5:37
Speaker 3: ts were on the road at the time the deconstruction
• 5:40
  Speaker 3: project started.
• 5:41
Speaker 5: For those of us living in Kanas City and have
• 5:43
Speaker 5: to come off the bridge into that construction for so
• 5:47
Speaker 5: many years, it's good to see that it is coming
• 5:50
  Speaker 5: to an end.
• 5:51
Speaker 3: Yeah. My text to the show said, the mccorporl projects
• 5:55
Speaker 3: started before COVID nineteen. It's been five years of half
• 5:58
Speaker 3: close yeah, close, close, yeah, because you said it wasn't
• 6:00
Speaker 3: exactly that two and this was a you know, primer well,
• 6:05
Speaker 3: I mean this was a Department of Highways, Cold Gov
• 6:08
Speaker 3: is a state road. Yeah, so this is not a
• 6:10
Speaker 3: city project that this is the Department Highway said. Look,
• 6:13
Speaker 3: in all fairness, and I don't pretend to know what
• 6:15
Speaker 3: goes into any sort of a Department of Highways project,
• 6:18
Speaker 3: but in all fairness, it's not easy to do a
• 6:21
Speaker 3: project like that, especially with the high volume of traffic
• 6:25
Speaker 3: that you have in that air.
• 6:26
Speaker 5: There's a lot of traffic as you said, that comes
• 6:29
Speaker 5: off that bridge and goes through Kanas City every day.
• 6:32
Speaker 5: It's a four lane highway with our businesses. Uh, you
• 6:36
Speaker 5: know for those three years, our businesses in Kanall City
• 6:39
Speaker 5: have suffered. Oh yeah, and uh we've lost businesses. We've
• 6:42
Speaker 5: actually opened a couple of new ones recently. But with
• 6:45
Speaker 5: the new Charleston Urban Works program. I think Rick was
• 6:48
Speaker 5: on the show last week. We mentioned it a little quickly,
• 6:51
Speaker 5: but we'll have more information coming. But I believe we're
• 6:55
Speaker 5: going to get ready to announce a director of Outreach
• 6:59
Speaker 5: for agement for Canocity only. The Mayor's office has been
• 7:04
Speaker 5: very helpful, helpful and getting the money for this employee,
• 7:09
Speaker 5: and this employee will be directly involved in helping our businesses,
• 7:13
Speaker 5: finding out information to where we can succeed and bring
• 7:17
Speaker 5: new businesses and help the current ones there.
• 7:19
Speaker 3: I was gonna ask what do you what do you
• 7:21
Speaker 3: hope to come out of this partnership with Charleston Urban Works.
• 7:25
Speaker 3: We have to have a.
• 7:28
Speaker 5: Rebrand of Canal City. You know, our our branding for
• 7:33
Speaker 5: KNNOSI has always been it takes a village and we
• 7:36
Speaker 5: need our businesses need help, whether it's bringing new ones
• 7:40
Speaker 5: there or the current ones. We they need help because
• 7:43
Speaker 5: the construction has closed some of those and they suffered
• 7:46
Speaker 5: financially for three years. And uh the urban Works program
• 7:51
Speaker 5: I worked on for a couple of years.
• 7:53
  Speaker 3: Uh.
• 7:54
Speaker 5: I actually told Rick the other day I begged and
• 7:57
Speaker 5: pleaded for two or three years for help. And now
• 7:59
Speaker 5: the mayors office has gotten involved. Mary Goodwin has been
• 8:03
Speaker 5: very helpful in helping trying to get Kanos City back
• 8:06
Speaker 5: up on our feet again.
• 8:07
Speaker 3: We're talking with Shad Robinson City councilmen who represents the
• 8:11
Speaker 3: area there in Kanahase City. The Dave Island Showing five
• 8:13
Speaker 3: eighty Live is presented apart by your hometown baseball team,
• 8:16

• 8:40
Speaker 3: Birds baseball dot com. You talked about those businesses there
• 8:43
Speaker 3: in Kanasas City and you know it's just been very,
• 8:45
Speaker 3: very difficult to access them. And you have several businesses
• 8:49
Speaker 3: in kanas City. I think sometimes once when you were
• 8:51
Speaker 3: on the show, you gave us the number of businesses there.
• 8:53
Speaker 3: There's a whole lot of businesses in kanas City and
• 8:56
Speaker 3: they've suffered through this project as well. Counsel.
• 8:59
Speaker 5: Yeah, there's a there's a lot more businesses than people think.
• 9:02
Speaker 5: There's several hundred businesses that from that stretches from the
• 9:06
Speaker 5: hospital all the way down pass Lows to the the
• 9:09
Speaker 5: old k More building. People just don't understand until they
• 9:12
Speaker 5: start looking when they drive down McCorkle. We're all in
• 9:16
Speaker 5: a hurry, but there's a lot of businesses there that
• 9:18
Speaker 5: you don't see. The barbershops, the uh, the mom and pops,
• 9:22
Speaker 5: the the wood the Woods store on fiftieth Street, tutors.
• 9:26
Speaker 5: I mean, you know, we have the the Wendy's and
• 9:28
Speaker 5: Subways and those, but our small mama pops we have
• 9:32
Speaker 5: to help them succeed and get back up and uh
• 9:35
Speaker 5: and I think charleson Nourban works. The program that's that
• 9:38
Speaker 5: Rick has put in place and that we will have
• 9:41
Speaker 5: announcements for it's going to be very very helpful for
• 9:44
Speaker 5: our business. We're also going to create a new Canostity
• 9:47
Speaker 5: Business Association, So if anybody is interested in joining that
• 9:51
Speaker 5: association in the near future, just reach out to me
• 9:54
Speaker 5: and we can make that happen.
• 9:57
Speaker 3: So with the business Association, what do you expect to
• 10:00
Speaker 3: come from from that once you get it up and
• 10:01
  Speaker 3: run it again.
• 10:02
Speaker 5: We hope to be just an arm to help a
• 10:06
Speaker 5: voice for Kanos City businesses. We hope to just offer advice,
• 10:10
Speaker 5: recommendations of things that the businesses need and we're there
• 10:14
Speaker 5: to help whatever we can do.
• 10:16
  Speaker 3: Uh, that's what we're there.
• 10:18
Speaker 5: That's what it's gonna be there to do to help
• 10:20
Speaker 5: the businesses succeed in the future in Kanos City.
• 10:23
Speaker 3: What's the one thing that you want people who uh
• 10:26
Speaker 3: maybe don't have reason to go to Kanas City on
• 10:30
Speaker 3: a regular basis. Maybe they work in a different part
• 10:31
Speaker 3: of town, and maybe they're listening to us in another area.
• 10:34
Speaker 3: Completely listen to us in Putnam County, for example. What
• 10:36
Speaker 3: do you want people to know about Kanos City? Come back?
• 10:40
Speaker 3: We lost simple? It's simple.
• 10:42
Speaker 5: You know we during the fate, the two phases of
• 10:45
Speaker 5: the construction, a lot of people wouldn't even come to
• 10:48
Speaker 5: lunch in Kanas City. Uh, don't forget travillions other restaurants
• 10:53
Speaker 5: in Kanosit for lunch. Come back to lunch. Use our
• 10:56
Speaker 5: local businesses. Uh element credit, uh credit. You use those
• 11:00
Speaker 5: businesses and help them get back up on their feet
• 11:03
Speaker 5: after these as a construction has.
• 11:04
Speaker 3: Ended now tonight and Jeff just talked about it on
• 11:07
Speaker 3: the news leading into the show. There's there's gonna be
• 11:10
Speaker 3: a meeting held in Kanas City. This is one of
• 11:12
Speaker 3: the series that the city does talk about that here
• 11:14
  Speaker 3: to serve.
• 11:15
Speaker 5: It's at the Kanas City Rec Center five thirty to
• 11:17
Speaker 5: six thirty. It's a good event that the Mayor's office
• 11:20
Speaker 5: puts on. Most of the department heads will be there.
• 11:23
Speaker 5: The several of the council members will be there. We're
• 11:27
Speaker 5: there trust some police departments always there. So if you
• 11:29
Speaker 5: have concerns, issues advice for Kanos City, come show up
• 11:35
  Speaker 5: for the hour.
• 11:36
  Speaker 3: It's a.
• 11:38
Speaker 5: Very informal setting that you can talk to different departments.
• 11:43
Speaker 5: If we have dilapidated houses around a home that we
• 11:46
Speaker 5: don't have on a list, or we have vagrants or
• 11:50
Speaker 5: or those who are walking into alleys, come share those
• 11:53
Speaker 5: concerns and let's try to figure out the problems.
• 11:55
Speaker 3: And again these series of meetings, and these were held
• 11:58
Speaker 3: last year as well. This is I guess, uh the
• 12:00
Speaker 3: is this the first one on the schedule for Connos believe? Okay,
• 12:03
Speaker 3: so this is in Kanas City tonight. This is an
• 12:05
Speaker 3: opportunity because sometimes people and this is not unique to
• 12:09
Speaker 3: Charleston councilmen, sometimes people don't like to necessarily go to
• 12:13
Speaker 3: a city council meeting, or maybe they don't like to
• 12:15
Speaker 3: go to a Board of Education meeting or whatever. This
• 12:17
Speaker 3: is very informal. You guys, basically are you're not You're
• 12:20
Speaker 3: not standing up there giving a lot of speeches to people.
• 12:22
Speaker 3: You just come up and talk to you about about
• 12:24
Speaker 3: issues that they have, about concerns about positive things that
• 12:27
Speaker 3: are going on. This is good, This is this is
• 12:29
Speaker 3: democracy at its finest.
• 12:30
Speaker 5: We you know, we have our issues in Canosia as
• 12:32
Speaker 5: well as as other parts of the city. But hey,
• 12:35
Speaker 5: let's let's quit stand, quit hiding behind the keyboard, come
• 12:39
Speaker 5: out and and let's discuss how we can resolve issues
• 12:43
Speaker 5: for kanos City. We have those issues, but we can
• 12:46
Speaker 5: resolve those if we work together.
• 12:48
  Speaker 2: Uh.
• 12:49
Speaker 5: And that's what these here to serve programs are for
• 12:53
Speaker 5: the department heads to show up and help us get
• 12:55
Speaker 5: through some of these issues. All right, again, the meeting
• 12:58
Speaker 5: is tonight by thirty six thirty Canossea Rec Center.
• 13:01
Speaker 3: All right, hey, real.
• 13:02
Speaker 5: Quick, I want to shout out to the Chamberlain Robotics team.
• 13:05
Speaker 5: It's fifth graders. They won the state championship on the robotics.
• 13:10
Speaker 5: They're going to Dallas, Texas in May to represent Charleston
• 13:15
Speaker 5: Kanack County in West Virginia's as the state champion robotics team.
• 13:20
Speaker 3: That's pretty good stuff.
• 13:21
Speaker 5: That's good stuff, and we're going to hopefully recognize that
• 13:23
Speaker 5: that team, the teachers, Eva Phillips, and the coach, so
• 13:27
Speaker 5: we'll hopefully do a resolution to help them or recognize
• 13:30
Speaker 5: them at City Council.
• 13:31
Speaker 3: They're coming up. All right, Counts when Robinson's always a
• 13:33
Speaker 3: pleasure to have you on the show Man. Thanks, thanks,
• 13:35
Speaker 3: appreciate it. All right, we're going to take a break.
• 13:38
Speaker 3: Big happenings in the city of Nitro. There's always something
• 13:41
Speaker 3: big going on there. But they're bringing a Red's legend
• 13:43
Speaker 3: to town and we'll talk about that when we come back.

Speaker 3: Let me get to Joe Stevens here momentarily before we
• 16:04
Speaker 3: do that. I do want to just kind of throw
• 16:06
Speaker 3: this out there to you. Every morning when I come
• 16:09
Speaker 3: in to do the Local Show. Of course, I do
• 16:11
Speaker 3: the show from nine to ten, but I'm also doing
• 16:13
Speaker 3: the Metro News afternoon show between the hours of noon
• 16:17
Speaker 3: and three with thirteen News in Tonight Live anchor Amanda Baron.
• 16:21
Speaker 3: I think there may be a little bit confusion over
• 16:22
Speaker 3: the text lines. There are two different text lines, one
• 16:25
Speaker 3: for the local show, which we refer to as the
• 16:29
Speaker 3: Tony the Taylor Text three zero four nine three five
• 16:32
Speaker 3: five zero zero eight. That's the text line for this show. Now,
• 16:35
Speaker 3: once we flip the switch and we go to the
• 16:40
Speaker 3: Selango Law Studios after noon from noon to three, then
• 16:46
Speaker 3: the text line changes. So if you're texting for the
• 16:48
Speaker 3: show in the afternoon, because what happens is every morning
• 16:51
Speaker 3: when I come in after Chris wraps up the morning
• 16:53
Speaker 3: news and I log into the computer, here I see
• 16:55
Speaker 3: a bunch of texts for the afternoon show. So keep
• 16:57
Speaker 3: in mind there's two separate text lines here. So the
• 16:59
Speaker 3: text for the Metro News show is three oh four talk,
• 17:02
Speaker 3: three oh four, three oh four Talk, three oh four,
• 17:04
Speaker 3: but it remains the same for the Tony the Taylor
• 17:07
Speaker 3: text line on the local show. So make sure you
• 17:09
Speaker 3: know the difference. If you're texting a nine to ten
• 17:11
Speaker 3: show with three oh four nine three five five zero
• 17:13
Speaker 3: zero eight, that is, of course, courtesy of the one

• 17:20
Speaker 3: it now, the one and only Joe Stevens from the
• 17:21
Speaker 3: City of Nitro. Good morning, sir, Good morning, mister Miller.
• 17:27
  Speaker 3: Mister Miller, Miller.
• 17:28
  Speaker 9: I'm just I stand corrected because I'm looking at a
• 17:32
Speaker 9: text from Dave Miller.
• 17:34
Speaker 3: I know Dave Miller very well. Dave and I used
• 17:36
Speaker 3: to work together, great guy up in the up in Ravenswood,
• 17:39
Speaker 3: doing some great things on the Ravenswood station up there. Mister,
• 17:43
Speaker 3: I'm doing fine now that you've insulted me. That's great, man.
• 17:47
Speaker 9: Well maybe I insulted mister Miller.
• 17:49
  Speaker 3: Maybe you did. That's a that's a pretty good uh,
• 17:51
Speaker 3: that's a pretty good way of looking at hey. Man,
• 17:54
Speaker 3: I gotta get you in studio here because I know
• 17:56
Speaker 3: you're always so busy with your role at the Nitro
• 17:59
Speaker 3: CVB you that you very rarely ever get out behind
• 18:02
Speaker 3: the desk unless you're in your other role, which is
• 18:04
Speaker 3: with the Ski Areas Association of West Virginia. But we
• 18:07
Speaker 3: got to get you in studio to check out the
• 18:08
Speaker 3: new digs here. Man.
• 18:10
Speaker 9: I've seen pictures of the radio ranch that mister Lawrence
• 18:15
Speaker 9: has put up on Facebook, and I tell you what,
• 18:17
  Speaker 9: it's Starship one.
• 18:19
  Speaker 2: It is.
• 18:20
Speaker 3: It's pretty nice. It's going to be even better when
• 18:22
Speaker 3: we know how to operate everything. So but you, being
• 18:26
Speaker 3: an old radio guy, you know all about that.
• 18:30
Speaker 9: Yeah. If I can make a mistake, I will indeed.
• 18:33
Speaker 3: All right, So, first of all, I want to ask you.
• 18:36
Speaker 3: I know this past Sunday you had the Veterans event
• 18:38
Speaker 3: with the Vietnam veterans, but you also opened it up
• 18:41
Speaker 3: to other veterans this past Sunday and nightro How did
• 18:44
  Speaker 3: that go?
• 18:45
Speaker 9: It went excellent, Dave, And thanks for getting the word
• 18:48
Speaker 9: out because we had a very nice crowd. It was
• 18:52
Speaker 9: a little bit of drizzle here and there, but for
• 18:54
Speaker 9: the most part, it was a nice day all the
• 18:57
Speaker 9: way through. All the speakers, Uh, we're able to get
• 19:01
Speaker 9: the word out to what they needed to tell, the
• 19:05
Speaker 9: tell the folks in the audience and everything. And then
• 19:07
Speaker 9: Cecil Roberts, the keynote speaker, the president of the United
• 19:12
  Speaker 9: mind Workers Association.
• 19:13
Speaker 6: They just he just.
• 19:16
Speaker 9: Got the crowd robled, not roled up, just thankful that
• 19:20
Speaker 9: they were there. Let's let's let's go there. But we
• 19:23
Speaker 9: had some folks there. Jim Lewis from the Veterans Assistance
• 19:26
Speaker 9: Administration of West Virginia were there. It was here and
• 19:30
Speaker 9: just helping folks answer some questions. A lot of folks
• 19:34
Speaker 9: they they don't want to get on the phone and
• 19:36
Speaker 9: ask questions. They like the face to face and and
• 19:39
Speaker 9: and that's what happens at events like this.
• 19:42
Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a great event. Uh and uh and
• 19:45
Speaker 3: and you guys, like I said before, Joe, you guys,
• 19:48
Speaker 3: and I don't know any other city in West Virginia
• 19:51
Speaker 3: that go that does more for its veterans than what
• 19:53
Speaker 3: that what than what Nitro does. And it's a city
• 19:56
Speaker 3: that was born out of the military service.
• 20:02
Speaker 9: Without a doubt. Nineteen seventeen, things started getting underway here
• 20:06
Speaker 9: in Nitro. By the way, just inside the beltway, kind
• 20:10
Speaker 9: of information about explosive plants c. Two of the more
• 20:14
Speaker 9: renowned employees, a kind of a sidebar actor by the
• 20:20
Speaker 9: name of Gable, was an employee. Clark Gable was a plant. Yeah,
• 20:26
Speaker 9: I mean he had a couple of movies out there.
• 20:30
Speaker 9: And then there was a third baseman that play a
• 20:35
Speaker 9: little bit for Pittsburgh, got a little notoriety, but ended
• 20:39
Speaker 9: up in the Hall of Fame, Pie Trainer. So it
• 20:43
Speaker 9: kind of I love going through the pictures and seeing
• 20:46
Speaker 9: the various people that worked there. But two of the
• 20:51
Speaker 9: more you would not think of, Clark Gable and Pie
• 20:54
Speaker 9: Trainer being employees of explosive plants C in the in
• 20:59
  Speaker 9: nineteen seventeen.
• 21:00
Speaker 3: In nineteen eighteen, are there actual photos available? I know
• 21:03
Speaker 3: you said you go through the photos. Do we have
• 21:05
Speaker 3: actual I mean, I know for a fact that that
• 21:08
Speaker 3: is correct, But do we have actual photos of Clark
• 21:12
Speaker 3: Gable working in Nitrou.
• 21:15
  Speaker 9: I don't know about Gable, but I have sent a
• 21:17
Speaker 9: picture off and rich high Bali, the president of the
• 21:20
Speaker 9: Historic Commission, would be the person that I will check with. Actually, okay,
• 21:25
Speaker 9: but Pie Trainer, there was a company baseball team, a
• 21:29
Speaker 9: couple of company baseball teams that I have sent pictures
• 21:32
Speaker 9: off to Cooperstown to say, can you recognize any of
• 21:36
Speaker 9: these players? Is one of these players? Pie Trainer? If so,
• 21:41
Speaker 9: the photo is yours. But I'm still waiting to hear.
• 21:45
Speaker 3: We're back on that, all right. But Dave Allan showing
• 21:47

• 21:57
Speaker 3: While we're talking about baseball, we had a reds Legend
• 22:01
  Speaker 3: coming to town.
• 22:03
  Speaker 6: The Saturday.
• 22:04
Speaker 9: We're kicking off Little League Baseball in the area here
• 22:08
Speaker 9: in Nitro. I think there's some opening days throughout the
• 22:13
Speaker 9: Canola Metro Valley area, but here in Nitro we will
• 22:17
Speaker 9: kick it off with an eleven o'clock parade coming down
• 22:20
Speaker 9: First Avenue, and your grand Marshall is and going to
• 22:23
Speaker 9: be George Foster, who was a member of the Big
• 22:27
Speaker 9: Red Machine. He was a member of the World Series
• 22:32
Speaker 9: teams that captured the title in nineteen seventy five and
• 22:37
Speaker 9: in seventy six. In fact, he was playing left field
• 22:40
Speaker 9: in Game six of that seventy five World Series when
• 22:44
Speaker 9: Carlton Fisk kind of waved his arm and had that
• 22:47
Speaker 9: ball go inside the foul pole and to create Game
• 22:52
Speaker 9: seven that the Reds went on to win. And then
• 22:55
Speaker 9: in nineteen seventy six he was a member of the team.
• 22:58
Speaker 9: He then won the Will Player Award in the National
• 23:01
Speaker 9: League in nineteen seventy seven when he hit fifty two
• 23:04
Speaker 9: home runs, and that was the only time in the
• 23:07
Speaker 9: seventies that a player hit fifty or more home runs.
• 23:11
Speaker 3: He was a phenomenal player. Man, I can remember it.
• 23:14
Speaker 3: I've talked about listening to Red's games on the radio
• 23:16
Speaker 3: with my grandfather growing up in the nineteen seventies and
• 23:19
Speaker 3: early eighties, and man, when he my grandfather loved Foster
• 23:23
Speaker 3: and he could belt one out of the park.
• 23:27
Speaker 9: He was one of the first players, if memory serves
• 23:30
Speaker 9: me correct on this one, that used a fully black
• 23:33
Speaker 9: bat when he came to the plate and everything. I
• 23:37
Speaker 9: don't think it was the tardedo type I think, but
• 23:43
Speaker 9: what he used, he definitely made a mark. And I
• 23:47
Speaker 9: tell you what, he came so close to winning that
• 23:50
Speaker 9: the Triple Crown in seventy seven, bat at three sixteen
• 23:54
Speaker 9: and then had fifty two home runs and over one
• 23:58
Speaker 9: hundred and forty RBIs or so. So he had a
• 24:00
Speaker 9: heck of a year that year. We're really excited about
• 24:02
Speaker 9: having him. He's going to be the Grand Marshall in
• 24:05
Speaker 9: the parade. Then from the parade we will go over
• 24:07
Speaker 9: to City Park to one of the fields, to the
• 24:11
Speaker 9: opening day field, and he will be throwing out the
• 24:14
Speaker 9: ceremonial first pitch of the Little league season for the
• 24:17
Speaker 9: Nitro Little League. And then we got some other stuff
• 24:21
Speaker 9: played for him too.
• 24:22
Speaker 3: So how exactly did Nitro get George Foster? What was
• 24:27
  Speaker 3: the process?
• 24:27
  Speaker 2: Like?
• 24:29
Speaker 9: Got it on the internet and googled him.
• 24:32
Speaker 3: That's all it takes a barently, just get the Google.
• 24:34
Speaker 9: Yeah, Dave, you asked, No, I Tim are Not, who
• 24:39
Speaker 9: operates the Nitro Antique mall actually, and then also Third
• 24:43
Speaker 9: Floor Comics. We've been working on this project together and
• 24:48
Speaker 9: he found a site that has that represents various ballplayers
• 24:55
Speaker 9: and there was a list for Cincinnati Reds and I
• 24:59
Speaker 9: chose George Foster and we have him here Saturday.
• 25:03
Speaker 3: So what to talk about for the fans if they
• 25:06
Speaker 3: want to meet George Foster? I think there is going
• 25:08
Speaker 3: to be an autograph signing later, But how does this work?
• 25:11
Speaker 3: If we got because you know where Reds affiliate have
• 25:14
Speaker 3: been for several several decades, and there's probably people listening
• 25:18
Speaker 3: to this to say, hey, I want to meet George
• 25:20
Speaker 3: Foster when he comes to Nitro. How is that possible?
• 25:23
Speaker 3: How will that work?
• 25:25
Speaker 9: We'll make it real easy for you. Third or four
• 25:27
Speaker 9: Comics Tim or Not is doing a baseball cards show
• 25:32
Speaker 9: in the Commons area at Nitro High School. We will
• 25:36
Speaker 9: have about over twenty exhibitors vendors with baseball cards, but
• 25:41
Speaker 9: from noon until two people can come in meet and
• 25:45
Speaker 9: greet George Foster and get an autograph from George. Now,
• 25:49
Speaker 9: the situation on the autographs is this, if you bring
• 25:52
  Speaker 9: a hat in or a jersey or a T shirt
• 25:54
Speaker 9: or something like that. The cost will be twenty dollars.
• 25:58
Speaker 9: If you bring in like a scorecard or you know,
• 26:00
Speaker 9: some piece of paper to have George sign it, you
• 26:04
Speaker 9: will be charged fifteen dollars. But what George is doing
• 26:08
Speaker 9: is donating half of the proceeds from his autograph session
• 26:12
Speaker 9: back to the Nitro Little League.
• 26:14
Speaker 3: Now that's pretty cool right there, because I mean that
• 26:17
Speaker 3: he's given half of the proceeds back. I mean, that's
• 26:20
Speaker 3: that's good stuff right there.
• 26:22
Speaker 9: You know, I asked him if he would do it,
• 26:25
Speaker 9: and there was no hesitation, of course. I mean the
• 26:27
Speaker 9: answer I got back was, of course I will. I
• 26:31
Speaker 9: mean to see those players in that era will step
• 26:35
Speaker 9: up for the community, and a lot of them still
• 26:37
Speaker 9: do in the communities that they live and work in
• 26:41
  Speaker 9: and play in.
• 26:41
Speaker 3: Right now, how old is George Foster?
• 26:44
Speaker 6: Now do you do?
• 26:45
Speaker 3: Have you got access to that. I'm just kind of
• 26:46
Speaker 3: curious to how old he is.
• 26:48
Speaker 9: He is in his seventies and seventies. He's in his seventies,
• 26:53
Speaker 9: and I just look really look forward to having him
• 26:57
Speaker 9: here and being an O fan. As you well know,
• 27:03
Speaker 9: he was on the seventy team and we might have
• 27:06
Speaker 9: to discuss that World Series a little bit. But you
• 27:10
Speaker 9: know it might be on a sidebar scenario.
• 27:13
Speaker 3: You may be the only person in Nitro Joe to
• 27:16
Speaker 3: show up with Oh's paraphernalia for George Foster to sign.
• 27:19
Speaker 3: You realize that right now.
• 27:21
Speaker 9: You know I was thinking about that. But my son Christian,
• 27:27
  Speaker 9: he has I mean, he's a Red fan too, that's
• 27:31
Speaker 9: his National League team, and I'm borrowing his Cincinnati Red
• 27:35
  Speaker 9: pat that day.
• 27:36
Speaker 3: You know, it is interesting because yesterday we had a
• 27:40
Speaker 3: little retirement get together for Joe Parsons, who is the
• 27:44
Speaker 3: happy Joe who is served sort of, I don't know what.
• 27:47
Speaker 3: The official title was General manager of the Charleston cluster
• 27:49
Speaker 3: here and also an executive Metro News. He is retiring.
• 27:53
Speaker 3: His son, Jared is taking over as the GM here.
• 27:57
Speaker 3: We had Jared on the air with his dad yesterday.
• 27:59
Speaker 3: I had a discussion my office before the show. Jared's
• 28:02
Speaker 3: coming to us from the Eastern Panhandle where he managed
• 28:06
Speaker 3: our cluster of radio stations up there. He is now
• 28:09
Speaker 3: an Orioles fan. Jared is. He picked him up when
• 28:14
Speaker 3: he went up there. So I'm just saying you are
• 28:17
Speaker 3: not now Joe Stevens the only Baltimore Orioles fan here
• 28:20
Speaker 3: in the Canal Valley. I'm sure there's a few more,
• 28:22
Speaker 3: but the new boss here, Jared Parsons, is a big
• 28:25
  Speaker 3: time Orioles fan.
• 28:27
Speaker 9: I will probably in my trip down to the radio ranch,
• 28:32
Speaker 9: I will I'll have you introduce me to the young
• 28:36
Speaker 9: mister Parsons and and I will bring him up to
• 28:40
Speaker 9: speed on some of the history of the owned.
• 28:42
Speaker 3: Sure he'd appreciate that. Hey, before we let you go,
• 28:44
Speaker 3: and we'll give we'll get all the details out there
• 28:46
Speaker 3: about the George Foster appearance with the Nitro Little League
• 28:48
Speaker 3: and then the collectible show. We did have a text
• 28:51
Speaker 3: here for you that said, like Saint albans Kanah City
• 28:54
Speaker 3: and Charleston's East End, does Nitro have a community city
• 28:58
Speaker 3: wide yard sale? If so, what date is that? If not,
• 29:02
  Speaker 3: please consider.
• 29:02
Speaker 9: One first Saturday of June.
• 29:07
Speaker 3: First Saturday of June. I thought you'd been on the
• 29:08
Speaker 3: air talking about that in the past, First Saturday of June.
• 29:11
Speaker 3: And that's just one of these typical community yard sales
• 29:13
Speaker 3: where everybody just puts your stuff out right.
• 29:17
Speaker 9: Exactly the amount of traffic that comes through a city
• 29:22
Speaker 9: on any time, any city. It could be South Charleston,
• 29:25
  Speaker 9: Saint Albans, Nitro.
• 29:27
  Speaker 2: What have you.
• 29:28
Speaker 9: When you have a city wide yard sailed, you better
• 29:31
Speaker 9: be ready to stand in line, as it may be
• 29:35
Speaker 9: a couple of things real quick about the event of Saturday,
• 29:38
Speaker 9: ye after the well during the car show. The car
• 29:43
Speaker 9: show goes from ten until five in the Commons George
• 29:46
Speaker 9: Seigning autographs from noon until two after he throws out
• 29:51
Speaker 9: the first pitch George Foster of the Cincinnati Reds. And
• 29:54
Speaker 9: then but from two to four in the gymnasium of
• 29:59
Speaker 9: Nitro High School, Team Trivia will be on hand and
• 30:03
Speaker 9: all the questions you hear you see Team Trivia being
• 30:06
Speaker 9: held at various watering holes throughout the Metro Valley area.
• 30:10
Speaker 9: And well, team Trivia will be there and we will
• 30:14
Speaker 9: be doing all baseball questions right all baseball questions the
• 30:19
Speaker 9: first place team gets. You can have up to six
• 30:22
Speaker 9: players on your team or you can come by yourself.
• 30:24
Speaker 9: But the first place team will get two hundred dollars,
• 30:27
Speaker 9: second place team one hundred dollars, fifty dollars for third place.
• 30:31
Speaker 9: Then at six thirty right there in the gym, we
• 30:34
Speaker 9: will have Field of Dreams, free free movie and admission

• 35:48
Speaker 3: you know, why are you here? But anyway, I thought
• 35:51
Speaker 3: that was kind of funny. I may post that picture
• 35:53
Speaker 3: a little bit later on. Joe, of course, serves in
• 35:55
Speaker 3: the House of Delegates, so he's not done with Charleston.
• 35:57
Speaker 3: He was. He stopped by here for a minute. Then
• 36:01
Speaker 3: the guard dog out front, Tracy, made him sign it
• 36:04
Speaker 3: I love it, I love it, Texas Dave. Just a
• 36:07
Speaker 3: reminder to all east Enders at street sweeping started up
• 36:11
Speaker 3: again today and the City of Charleston was out at
• 36:13
Speaker 3: nine to one am ticketing folks. They didn't waste even
• 36:17
Speaker 3: a minute. Still a mystery why only East End residents
• 36:20
Speaker 3: have to deal with this nonsense, says a Texter. Well,
• 36:24
Speaker 3: the Mayor of Charleston will be on the show next Monday,
• 36:28
Speaker 3: as is her. I aired when I said she was
• 36:30
Speaker 3: going to be on the show this past Monday, because
• 36:32
Speaker 3: for some reason I lost the ability to read a
• 36:34
Speaker 3: calendar and I was thinking yesterday was April first, but
• 36:37
Speaker 3: it wasn't. So the Mayor, her normal monthly appearance, will
• 36:41
Speaker 3: be next Monday, and we'll give her twenty thirty minutes
• 36:43
Speaker 3: or so. I actually will give you twenty or thirty
• 36:45
Speaker 3: minutes or so to talk to the Mayor on the
• 36:47
Speaker 3: show next Monday. So for that text, if you want
• 36:50
Speaker 3: to bring that up to the Mayor. She'll be on
• 36:53
Speaker 3: the show next week, and we do have some news
• 36:55
Speaker 3: out of the city of Charleston. I'll get to that
• 36:57
Speaker 3: coming up here in a couple of moments, but I

Speaker 3: is National Autism Day. We're gonna have a discussion about

Speaker 3: COCHS network here in Charleston, throughout the state on the
• 38:27
Speaker 3: Metro News Radio Network. All Right, speaking of the city
• 38:32
Speaker 3: of Charleston. Tomorrow, at one o'clock, Charleston Marreor Amy Shudler Goodwin,
• 38:38
Speaker 3: the Charleston stern Will Regatta Commission and the Charleston Convention
• 38:42
Speaker 3: and Visitors Bureau will have a press conference to announce
• 38:45
Speaker 3: the performers for this summer's regatta. Now, the press conference
• 38:49
Speaker 3: is scheduled for one o'clock tomorrow in the Office of
• 38:53
Speaker 3: Encovia Insurance on Courrier Street here in Charleston, and of
• 38:57
Speaker 3: course since the return of the regatta a few years
• 38:59
Speaker 3: ago in COVID has has been the primary sponsor, along
• 39:03
Speaker 3: with some others, but they're there. They're the name sponsors,
• 39:06
Speaker 3: so to speak. So that's why it's being If you're
• 39:08
Speaker 3: wondering why is it being held there, that's probably why
• 39:10
Speaker 3: it's being hell there. I would say, so when the
• 39:13
Speaker 3: entertainment for regatta is announced, let's go ahead unless cute
• 39:17
Speaker 3: of people who won't be happy about the lineup of performers.
• 39:22
Speaker 3: It's happened every year since the regatta came back, and
• 39:26
Speaker 3: I'm going to go ahead and make a bold prediction
• 39:29
Speaker 3: it's going to continue tomorrow as well. And I said
• 39:32
Speaker 3: this last year and I caught some I got a
• 39:35
Speaker 3: little flak on social media about it, but but I
• 39:38
Speaker 3: will hold to this. The amount of people who find
• 39:43
Speaker 3: something to complain about when it comes to free entertainment
• 39:48
Speaker 3: truly amazes me. And last year and the year before that,
• 39:53
Speaker 3: when the announcement was made about regatta coming back and
• 39:58
Speaker 3: the press conference was held and I I had the
• 40:00
Speaker 3: officials on the show. Normally I have them on the
• 40:02
Speaker 3: day after the press conference. The people that complained about
• 40:08
  Speaker 3: free entertainment free, I don't understand, I really don't. If
• 40:16
Speaker 3: you don't like it, don't go just you know, just saying,
• 40:21
Speaker 3: and no matter across the board. If you have eighties music,
• 40:24
Speaker 3: there were people complaining about it. If you have hip hop,
• 40:27
Speaker 3: they don't like that either. You do a true oldies act.
• 40:32
Speaker 3: And by the way, none of us want to hear
• 40:35
Speaker 3: this in terms of music and overall marketing on retro things.
• 40:42
Speaker 3: Oldies and retro is now two thousand and five. I
• 40:47
Speaker 3: know that hurts. None of us, including myself, want to
• 40:50
Speaker 3: hear that. But that's if you want to get into
• 40:54
Speaker 3: from a marketing standpoint. If you want to get into
• 40:57
Speaker 3: what oldies is, oldies is now two thousand and five,
• 41:04
Speaker 3: you're welcome. But anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and make
• 41:11
Speaker 3: the prediction now that social media, your social media feed
• 41:16
Speaker 3: and mine will be flooded with people not happy about
• 41:19
Speaker 3: the lineup. But side note, the press conference is tomorrow
• 41:24
Speaker 3: at one o'clock and in Cova, and we, of course
• 41:27
Speaker 3: we'll have our news team there covering and I'll be
• 41:29
Speaker 3: on the air at that time and we'll have news
• 41:32
Speaker 3: stories about it, and it'll be on your social media
• 41:34
Speaker 3: and people will complain and saying I can't believe they're
• 41:37
Speaker 3: not bringing in so and I can't, but yeah, just
• 41:39
Speaker 3: get ready for it.
• 41:39
Speaker 2: Get ready for it.
• 41:40
Speaker 3: On the show on Thursday, as we've done in the past,
• 41:45
Speaker 3: I will more than likely have people either from the
• 41:47
Speaker 3: Regatta Committee on Brian Hughes from Storm Track and thirteen
• 41:50
Speaker 3: always does a great job with that. With the Regatta Committee,
• 41:54
Speaker 3: Tim Brady from the Charleston Convention of Visitors, Bureau mayor Goodwin.
• 41:58
Speaker 3: Not sure who's going to be here yet. Body on
• 42:00
Speaker 3: the Regatta committee will be on the show on Thursday.
• 42:02
Speaker 3: I guess to explain why they didn't get your favorite act.
• 42:06
Speaker 3: I say that tongue in cheek. But when I saw
• 42:08
Speaker 3: the announcement I got the press release yesterday that said
• 42:11
Speaker 3: that the Regatta lineup would be announced, I thought, here
• 42:14
Speaker 3: we go. I told the girls in the office upstairs,
• 42:17
Speaker 3: here we go. You the people complaining about it, But

• 46:27
Speaker 3: raises the fines too. Now the maximum fine for assault
• 46:30
Speaker 3: on the sports official would go from the current five
• 46:34
Speaker 3: hundred bucks to up to one thousand or six months
• 46:37
Speaker 3: in jail or both. For battery on an official that
• 46:42
Speaker 3: was just assault, now this is for battery on anofficial,
• 46:44
Speaker 3: the fine would raise from the current maximum of one
• 46:47
Speaker 3: thousand dollars to between one to two thousand and up
• 46:51
Speaker 3: to a year in jail or both. Again, the fact
• 46:54
Speaker 3: that we even have to have this discussion is a
• 46:57
Speaker 3: sad commentary in my opinion on our society, and it's
• 47:02
Speaker 3: an unpopular opinion. But if we keep going down this
• 47:07
Speaker 3: road across the country of parents thinking they are more
• 47:11
Speaker 3: important than they are in the scheme of athletics play
• 47:16
Speaker 3: the game without fans, which really wouldn't be fair to
• 47:20
Speaker 3: the what ninety nine percent of the fans who attend
• 47:22
Speaker 3: games and act like they have some sort of sense.
• 47:28
Speaker 3: Read the story that Aaron has posted about it at
• 47:31
Speaker 3: wvmetronews dot com. Tex says, two numbers for two different shows.
• 47:38
Speaker 3: You may as well put in a round about to
• 47:40
Speaker 3: complicate it even more. West Virginias don't do well with roundabouts.
• 47:44
  Speaker 3: So I don't think no, it's two different shows. It's
• 47:47
Speaker 3: two different platforms, two different everything.
• 47:49
  Speaker 2: You know.
• 47:49
Speaker 3: One's metro news, one's local that's why this shows aired
• 47:52
Speaker 3: and Charleston. The other one's aired statewide. So we use
• 47:55
Speaker 3: the same text line for the afternoon show that they
• 48:00
Speaker 3: use on hotline, the same one that they use on
• 48:02
Speaker 3: talk line, and the same one that they use on
• 48:05
Speaker 3: sports Line. If it were up to me, we'd use
• 48:07
Speaker 3: a party line. And people are scratching their heads and
• 48:10
Speaker 3: young people going what the heck's of party line? Another
• 48:14
Speaker 3: story from under the Dome this morning, the House has
• 48:16
Speaker 3: passed legislation that would take away civil protections and the
• 48:20
Speaker 3: agreements procedures for some state employees. Vote in the House
• 48:24
Speaker 3: went sixty nine to thirty on HB twenty thirteen, which
• 48:27
Speaker 3: would remove the protections from several departments Senior Services, Department
• 48:31
Speaker 3: of Administration, Department of Environmental Protection, Revenue Veterans Assistance among them.
• 48:36
Speaker 3: The bill was requested by the governor, and again a
• 48:40
Speaker 3: lot of people are upset about it, but let's keep
• 48:42
Speaker 3: in mind, this is what the people voted for because
• 48:47
Speaker 3: Governor Morrissey, I know he talked about it in the
• 48:49
Speaker 3: State of the State. I'm pretty sure he talked about
• 48:51
Speaker 3: it on the campaign trail that this is one of
• 48:53
Speaker 3: the things that he wanted to do and he's doing it,
• 48:57
Speaker 3: or at least it's out there right now now. So
• 49:01
Speaker 3: kind of where we are. But Dave Island Show on
• 49:03
Speaker 3: five to eighty Live is brought to you part by
• 49:05
Speaker 3: Bridge Valley offering custom Taylor Trainings to supply skilled graduates
• 49:08
Speaker 3: and apprenticeships for your company. Visit Bridge Valley dot EEDU Texas. Dave,
• 49:16
Speaker 3: people need to arm themselves. Never know when people in
• 49:18
Speaker 3: a mask will grab you off the streets and you'll disappear. Well,
• 49:21
  Speaker 3: that's that's a nice, pleasant a lot. Let's go to
• 49:25
Speaker 3: the Capitol and let's check in with the boys. Wilson
• 49:29
Speaker 3: and Meadows. Good morning, gentlemen.
• 49:31
Speaker 14: You know, Dave, I was sitting here thinking I haven't
• 49:34
Speaker 14: given you enough credit because I listened to three minutes
• 49:36
Speaker 14: of your show and you irritated me to the point
• 49:38
Speaker 14: I wanted to text in, but I didn't know which
• 49:40
  Speaker 14: number to text.
• 49:41
Speaker 3: So love it. And see this furthers the thing, Wilson
• 49:46
Speaker 3: that the two days don't get along, and nothing could
• 49:49
Speaker 3: be further from the truth. We hang out, we're buddies.
• 49:51
Speaker 3: We go to ball games, toget we run through the park,
• 49:54
Speaker 3: we have picnics, right right.
• 49:56
Speaker 14: Oh yeah, yeah, we get together. We cry on each
• 49:59
Speaker 14: other shoulders and you know, uh, we're where we are,
• 50:03
Speaker 14: our own emotional support animal.
• 50:05
Speaker 3: We both complained about TJ. So there there's yeah, there
• 50:07
Speaker 3: you go. Well, I mean I got to share an
• 50:09
Speaker 3: office with him. You just have a two hour cubicles,
• 50:11
Speaker 3: you know, And and you know when TJ's in the place,
• 50:14
Speaker 3: because you know, the glare of his perfectly shine shoes
• 50:17
Speaker 3: goes into your eyes. And uh, and he's always playing
• 50:20
Speaker 3: with our putting green we have in the office, you know,
• 50:22
Speaker 3: he's he's one of you have a putting green. Yeah,
• 50:25
Speaker 3: we have a putting It's big time hero. Got a
• 50:27
Speaker 3: disco ball in the office too.
• 50:29
Speaker 14: I got to start making some requisitions for the Morgantown Bureau.
• 50:33
Speaker 3: There, Bud, what's on the show today, my friend, that.
• 50:37
Speaker 6: Is a very good question.
• 50:38
Speaker 14: How So, Finance Committee Chairman Vernon Chris is going to
• 50:40
Speaker 14: join us right off the top, and we are going
• 50:42
Speaker 14: to go over the House budget proposal, which is very
• 50:46
Speaker 14: dissimilar from the budget proposal put forth by Governor Morrissey.
• 50:51
Speaker 14: A little bit later on, Joey Garcia, Marion County Senator,
• 50:54
Speaker 14: will stop by. Brad McElhenny will join us as well.
• 50:58
Speaker 14: There are a lot of things happening, but a lot
• 51:01
Speaker 14: of things not happening, if that makes any sense. But
• 51:04
Speaker 14: that kind of sums up the entire the entire legislative session. Also,
• 51:09
Speaker 14: we'll get an update on what's happening up in Morgantown.
• 51:11
Speaker 14: We're hearing and multiple sources have confirmed that employees are
• 51:15
Speaker 14: being laid off at the federal Niosh Agency up in
• 51:18
Speaker 14: Morgantown this morning. Kind of a cruel day to do
• 51:22
Speaker 14: such things. But we'll get updated on all of that,
• 51:26
Speaker 14: and we will check in on the text line. We
• 51:28
Speaker 14: only have one text number that we have to give
• 51:30
Speaker 14: away on this show. We'll check in on that as well.
• 51:32
Speaker 3: But now when you do the show, I don't think
• 51:35
Speaker 3: you do it anymore. But when you did the local
• 51:37
Speaker 3: show in Morgantown, was there a different text line for
• 51:39
  Speaker 3: that show?
• 51:40
Speaker 14: No, I simplify the process and just use the same number.
• 51:43
Speaker 3: Well, what it is, I'll tell you what it is.
• 51:45
Speaker 3: It's because you know my good friend Tony Parentzino, Tony
• 51:47
Speaker 3: the Taylor he Wreck. He demanded to have his own number.
• 51:52
Speaker 3: That's what Tony Taylor. Okay, Yeah, he's high in makings
• 51:55
  Speaker 3: that way.
• 51:55
Speaker 14: When I was doing the local show in Morgantown, people
• 51:58
Speaker 14: would text the three or four talk through four about
• 52:01
Speaker 14: whatever you were talking about. So every day I would
• 52:03
Speaker 14: get to make fun of you, and you never knew
• 52:05
Speaker 14: it because I would just react to the text that
• 52:07
Speaker 14: they were reacting to you.
• 52:08
Speaker 3: I'm on the air at that time. I'm on the
• 52:09
Speaker 3: air at that time. I didn't I didn't have an opportunity.
• 52:12
Speaker 3: See is way back all right, we'll be listening at
• 52:15
Speaker 3: ten oh Sex Buddy. Thanks aut Dave Wilson and TJ.
• 52:17
Speaker 3: Meadows coming up live from the Capitol of ten oh six,
• 52:20
Speaker 3: but Dave Allen showing five Dyline brought to you a
• 52:21

• 52:24
Speaker 3: to Morregon in America's largest injury law firm. Quick texts
• 52:26
Speaker 3: West Virginia don't do well with roundabouts, and yet they
• 52:29
Speaker 3: are being sold everywhere. Now too stupid to make up,
• 52:31
Speaker 3: says a text. All Right, Ryan Nichols and my producer,
