- 1:11Speaker 2: by P and C Bank, a lot of people think
- 1:13Speaker 2: podcasts about work are boring, and sure they definitely can be,
- 1:17Speaker 2: but understanding of professional's routine shows us how they achieve
- 1:21Speaker 2: their success little by little, day after day. It's like
- 1:25Speaker 2: banking with P and C Bank. It might seem boring
- 1:28Speaker 2: to save, plan and make calculated decisions with your bank,
- 1:31Speaker 2: but keeping your money boring is what helps you live
- 1:34Speaker 2: or more happily fulfilled life. P and C Bank Brilliantly
- 1:38Speaker 2: Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty
- 1:42Speaker 2: five is a service mark of the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc.
- 1:46Speaker 2: P and C Bank National Association Member FDIC.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Microsoft versus Apple. Okay, so can we just be honest.
- 1:58Speaker 3: We won't even need to lead up most disappointing WWDC
- 2:03Speaker 3: i've seen in the last let me be hyperbolic and
- 2:06Speaker 3: sensation of last fifteen years. AI got kicked down the
- 2:11Speaker 3: road to twenty twenty six. This is my announcement. If
- 2:16Speaker 3: Apple does not deliver a significant AI development in twenty
- 2:20Speaker 3: twenty six, I'm going to tell.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Everybody to sell all on the Apple. What had that's strong.
- 2:28Speaker 4: That's next year. So so you you potentially as of
- 2:32Speaker 4: in a couple of months, you could potentially liquidate every
- 2:36Speaker 4: Apple position.
- 2:37Speaker 3: Position Yep, why why they had?
- 2:42Speaker 1: Okay, well let's go to some facts.
- 2:44Speaker 3: Uh so they are three months and the negative with
- 2:50Speaker 3: no prospect for doing better you've had. I'm not even
- 2:54Speaker 3: including Cursor or any of the startups who have made
- 2:59Speaker 3: signific can't headwinds in AI. They've just missed the ball
- 3:06Speaker 3: at every turn. I know they have the anthropic partnership
- 3:10Speaker 3: they talked about, but to be a tech leader and
- 3:15Speaker 3: not have a sign we got liquid glass, Nobody asks
- 3:19Speaker 3: for that. No one asks for the emoji Khan Like,
- 3:24Speaker 3: it's just it's them not reading the room.
- 3:26Speaker 1: It's like, if I'm go ahead, No.
- 3:28Speaker 2: I'm only going because I want to give somebody some
- 3:31Speaker 2: high praise.
- 3:31Speaker 1: Shout out to Sonata.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Know we brought it up last week Snapoel, who's one
- 3:34Speaker 2: of the most incredible minds when it comes to AI
- 3:37Speaker 2: in terms of the liquid glass. She had an adope
- 3:39Speaker 2: pose it and maybe we'll repose it. I'll go check
- 3:41Speaker 2: her out. But she said that you're right, nobody asks
- 3:45Speaker 2: for the liquid glass when it comes to the phone.
- 3:47Speaker 2: But that might be a hint at something that they
- 3:50Speaker 2: are developing, which could be eyeware right, because the technology
- 3:55Speaker 2: of the glass is to see transparently, and so how
- 3:58Speaker 2: do you interact with the world while having glass on?
- 4:01Speaker 2: That's the technology that they said, who needs it on
- 4:04Speaker 2: the phone? You're not looking? But if they developed the technology,
- 4:07Speaker 2: is that now a precursor for what is to come?
- 4:10Speaker 2: Which kind of got me thinking, like they better have
- 4:14Speaker 2: something that this is going to be useful.
- 4:16Speaker 1: We would they be better than the meta ray bands.
- 4:19Speaker 1: Meta ray bands is clicking. I can't front. I see
- 4:21Speaker 1: people just wearing those better.
- 4:24Speaker 3: But okay, imagine if we talked about investing and like
- 4:28Speaker 3: I just missed in video being pro Chevron, that is.
- 4:33Speaker 1: The equivalent of what Apple has done.
- 4:35Speaker 3: Google has made significant hit winds the partnership with Microsoft
- 4:40Speaker 3: and Open Eye. It doesn't get talked about that Apple
- 4:42Speaker 3: could have bought into that same partnership structure with open Ai.
- 4:46Speaker 3: They missed Claude, We talked it on the hardware standpoint,
- 4:51Speaker 3: they missed buy a Dji. They've just missed on too
- 4:54Speaker 3: many fronts, And it seems like that the leadership culture
- 4:58Speaker 3: is so insulated amongst each other They're not seen and
- 5:01Speaker 3: looking ahead to what's next.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Love the company, but.
- 5:08Speaker 3: I just think it's either time to either Tim Cook
- 5:13Speaker 3: goes e care mean seat and they need another CEO,
- 5:16Speaker 3: or they need significant headwinds in AI development. Like it's
- 5:20Speaker 3: thirty companies that are available that could be for purchase
- 5:24Speaker 3: that would help. Like Siri probably is the worst before
- 5:27Speaker 3: meing automation tool in all of tech comparison, Canva has
- 5:35Speaker 3: made bigger headwinds in AI than Apple.
- 5:37Speaker 1: How does that happen?
- 5:39Speaker 4: So if you okay, so if you sell an Apple,
- 5:43Speaker 4: what company takes that to tech?
- 5:47Speaker 3: It's a great question get your tickets to.
- 5:53Speaker 2: But doesn't that treasure chest almost give it some leadway
- 5:58Speaker 2: to say what it is next? And whenever, like everybody
- 6:02Speaker 2: agrees that AIS and its emphasy stages is still in
- 6:05Speaker 2: the first maybe second in and that treasure chest that
- 6:08Speaker 2: they have, that one hundred and whatever thirty billion that
- 6:10Speaker 2: they have.
- 6:11Speaker 1: They're parking in treasury. It's like a hedge fund.
- 6:14Speaker 2: But they could potentially just skip the line and say
- 6:17Speaker 2: that's the next technology. Hey we got a buy. They
- 6:19Speaker 2: still have a chance, or is it too late? Open
- 6:22Speaker 2: AI so far ahead that that is clearly going to
- 6:24Speaker 2: be the technology and everybody else is playing second place.
- 6:27Speaker 3: Okay, here's the Landscape, Cursor, AI, Grock Xai, Open Ai,
- 6:33Speaker 3: Anthropic Camp, that's Campbell. That's six companies that have gotten
- 6:39Speaker 3: significantly better.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Three of which they could have purchased.
- 6:44Speaker 3: It's not the issue of capital, it's it's a leadership issue.
- 6:50Speaker 3: So no different than like Thibadeau had a good team
- 6:53Speaker 3: couldn't get to the promised land. Now I'm not saying
- 6:55Speaker 3: that Tim is Thibodeau, but having the capital and not
- 6:59Speaker 3: allocate them properly are two different things. Or our respective
- 7:03Speaker 3: or if they just said, hey, we're not going to
- 7:05Speaker 3: invest significantly into AI, but we're going to focus on
- 7:09Speaker 3: these sectors, I could live with that.
- 7:12Speaker 1: What happened to the developments and.
- 7:14Speaker 3: Healthcare they were doing three or four years ago went
- 7:16Speaker 3: to the wayside.
- 7:17Speaker 1: And I keep bringing this up.
- 7:19Speaker 3: That beef that Tim Cook and Mark Zuckerberg has has
- 7:24Speaker 3: clouded Tim Cook's judgment for the last three years. Even
- 7:28Speaker 3: with the car. The car thing was to get Elon
- 7:30Speaker 3: out of the way because they had a little kerfuffle.
- 7:33Speaker 3: I need and the issue isn't the employees or some
- 7:37Speaker 3: of the SVPs. There is the upper management that is
- 7:40Speaker 3: stopping this from happening. So I just need to see
- 7:44Speaker 3: more innovator and quiz question for everyone tonight, how much
- 7:47Speaker 3: has it dropped since October of last year?
- 7:51Speaker 2: Well, so, okay, Well there's a consistent reactive versus a
- 7:56Speaker 2: proactive in terms of innovation.
- 7:58Speaker 1: You're right, and this.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Isn't one of those cases where they can let everyone
- 8:01Speaker 3: else develop the technology and they come in and take it.
- 8:05Speaker 1: It's too far ahead for them.
- 8:07Speaker 5: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 8:10Speaker 5: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from Al Salvador
- 8:14Speaker 5: accused of murdering a Texas. Man of Venezuelan charged with
- 8:19Speaker 5: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 8:23Speaker 5: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 8:26Speaker 5: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christy Noman, the United States
- 8:30Speaker 5: Secretary of Homeland Security. Under President Trump, Attempted illegal border
- 8:35Speaker 5: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 8:38Speaker 5: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 8:42Speaker 5: are here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 8:46Speaker 5: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 8:50Speaker 5: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 8:53Speaker 5: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Do what's right. Leave now. Under President Trump, America's laws,
- 9:02Speaker 5: border and families will be protected.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security,
