- 0:00Sean McAllister: It's episode 209 of Vegas Revealed and a big announcement about the show.
- 0:05Sean McAllister: What's going to change and what won't.
- 0:08Dayna Roselli: Calls for tear matching have been heard at Fountain Blue, and the Bruno Mars experience, hear what it's like inside the singer's new club, The Pinky Ring.
- 0:18Sean McAllister: A rugby doubleheader is coming to Allegiant Stadium.
- 0:21Sean McAllister: Plus, what a burger fans finally can feed their appetites here in Las Vegas.
- 0:27Dayna Roselli: And the Blue Man Group changes it up.
- 0:29Dayna Roselli: That and more this week on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:32Sean McAllister: Let's do it and spin that wheel.
- 0:53Dayna Roselli: I know we've kind of thrown it in there a little bit here and there, but we can finally officially announce that there will be a TV version of Vegas Revealed, and it will be shown on Fox Five here in Las Vegas on the weekends.
- 1:08Dayna Roselli: You can also see it on Fubu TV, YouTube TV, and we'll be putting those shows on our YouTube channel.
- 1:13Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 1:13Sean McAllister: So I know that there was uh we did re receive a couple comments from people who don't live in Las Vegas and they were like, oh, but I wish I could see the show.
- 1:23Sean McAllister: Well, you will be able to because our shows, like Dana said, are going to be posted on our Vegas Revealed YouTube channel as well as air on TV here in Las Vegas.
- 1:34Sean McAllister: And Fox Five is the longtime uh broadcast, my longtime broadcast home.
- 1:40Sean McAllister: That's where I worked for 15 years before uh leaving to start Insightful Media and Vegas Revealed with you, Dana.
- 1:49Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 1:50Dayna Roselli: So you're just you're going home.
- 1:51Dayna Roselli: But the thing is, we actually aren't gonna enter the Fox Five building.
- 1:55Dayna Roselli: Uh we're gonna continue to do exactly what we do.
- 1:57Dayna Roselli: We're basically handing over our show to Fox Five.
- 2:00Dayna Roselli: They love the content and they said, Hey, can we run this on the weekend?
- 2:03Dayna Roselli: We're like, sure, we struck up a deal.
- 2:05Dayna Roselli: And um, so we're gonna still bring you, you know, the content that we want to provide, the things that we want to say, the topics that we want to cover.
- 2:15Dayna Roselli: Um, but it will air once a weekend, maybe twice actually, on Fox Five.
- 2:20Dayna Roselli: So it's exciting, and maybe it will go, you know, further after that.
- 2:23Dayna Roselli: We aren't sure, but we're we're starting here.
- 2:25Dayna Roselli: We're still gonna be doing our segments on KCal CBS in in Los Angeles.
- 2:30Dayna Roselli: We are still uh running our company, Insightful Media, where we we're doing some media training soon here coming up in March.
- 2:36Dayna Roselli: We're doing a big project with Olympia Foundation, a video.
- 2:39Dayna Roselli: So everything will run the same, but now we're gonna have a TV show.
- 2:44Sean McAllister: Exactly.
- 2:44Sean McAllister: I did have some uh former colleagues reach out and be like, oh my gosh, I can't wait to see you around the building more.
- 2:51Sean McAllister: And where are you guys gonna, what days are you coming in to record?
- 2:55Sean McAllister: And um, I had to break the news like, no, we're not employees, we have a programming deal.
- 3:01Sean McAllister: That's what the situation is.
- 3:04Sean McAllister: But it's good to uh reconnect and you know, kind of have that, like you said, full circle moment and be back on the air at Fox Five coming in March.
- 3:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and so we will do a specific television version because you know, we've got to throw in commercials and things like that.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: Um, and it's a you know a certain time limit and a 30-minute program.
- 3:24Dayna Roselli: But what's not gonna change is this podcast.
- 3:27Dayna Roselli: We are still gonna continue to do our audio podcast, and it's gonna be just the way that we do it now.
- 3:32Dayna Roselli: Um, it has gonna be different than the television show.
- 3:35Dayna Roselli: Television show will cover some, you know, cross topics and stuff like that, some of the same things, but we'll still be on Apple, Spotify, Google, iHeart, all of that, and we aren't going anywhere.
- 3:44Sean McAllister: No, we are not.
- 3:45Sean McAllister: And um, I think we mentioned this last week as well.
- 3:49Sean McAllister: But a huge thank you uh to all of you who have listened and supported uh the Vegas Revealed audio podcast.
- 3:58Sean McAllister: Because of your support, we've been able to uh branch out and develop a TV version of what we do here.
- 4:06Sean McAllister: So we could not be more grateful to all of you who have listened and supported.
- 4:12Sean McAllister: Um, we're excited for what's to come.
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: And the subscribers, we love you, we we appreciate your donations.
- 4:18Dayna Roselli: Because of that, we're able to keep the audio podcast going.
- 4:20Dayna Roselli: We know a lot of people like to listen to things in their ears too, you know, work out or drive in the car.
- 4:25Dayna Roselli: And audio is really how pod podcasting started.
- 4:29Dayna Roselli: So um we are developing uh an entertainment television show that is the Vegas revealed podcast format where we can be more open and talk about topics instead of reading news stories.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: That'll be the exactly that'll be the difference there.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: So also this audio podcast, by the way, is sponsored by the Vegas Near Me app.
- 4:48Dayna Roselli: If you haven't downloaded that yet, it's available, it's free, and we have a link in our show notes and always in our link uh LinkedIn bio, or excuse me, our link tree bio that's on all our social medias.
- 5:01Sean McAllister: And Dana, we wanted to talk about something that I know uh each of us know people who are like over the moon excited about rugby coming to Las Vegas.
- 5:11Sean McAllister: Each year we have a big rugby tournament.
- 5:14Sean McAllister: Um, but this year there's an additional rugby tournament that is coming to Allegiant Stadium.
- 5:20Dayna Roselli: Again, I just saw today Russell Crowe really pushing it on Twitter, and it reminded me, hey, we got to talk about this.
- 5:27Dayna Roselli: I have friends coming in from San Diego.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: I know I was talking talking with the folks over at Resorts World, and I think they are the host hotel for the team.
- 5:34Dayna Roselli: And she said they did a walkthrough, and she goes, man, these guys were tall and like walking through the casino, and everyone was like knew who they were, and like it's a big deal.
- 5:43Dayna Roselli: And I was like, Oh, yeah, we got to talk about this.
- 5:45Dayna Roselli: So it's the National Rugby League.
- 5:47Dayna Roselli: They're gonna be doing a double header.
- 5:49Dayna Roselli: This is on Saturday, March 2nd, and so that'll be really fun.
- 5:53Dayna Roselli: Uh, two matches back to back.
- 5:55Dayna Roselli: It's at Allegiant Stadium, the home of Super Bowl 58.
- 5:59Dayna Roselli: So uh I know a lot of people are coming in for this, and if you want to grab tickets, you still got time.
- 6:04Sean McAllister: Yeah, and there are a ton of rugby fans.
- 6:08Sean McAllister: Whenever we have rugby events here in town, I know that I mean it sells out.
- 6:15Sean McAllister: We have a lot of rugby fans living here in Las Vegas and a lot of rugby fans who travel to Las Vegas to watch the sport.
- 6:23Sean McAllister: So I have a feeling this will be no different and a great matchup.
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean, it's so huge, you know, obviously in Australia and around the world.
- 6:31Dayna Roselli: And I was looking up like, what does Russell Crowe have to do with it?
- 6:34Dayna Roselli: Well, he's a lifelong fan, and I think he's got a little bit, uh, he owns a little part of and is invested in the rabbitoes.
- 6:41Dayna Roselli: I don't know if I'm saying it right, but the sea eagles are taking on the rabbitows, and the roosters are going head to head with the Broncos on this matchup.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: So I don't know, rabbitoes?
- 6:52Dayna Roselli: What do you think?
- 6:52Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:53Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:54Sean McAllister: Rabbit rabbit o's.
- 6:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:56Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 6:57Sean McAllister: Close enough.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: I would say if I'm wrong, write me.
- 7:00Dayna Roselli: Let me know.
- 7:01Sean McAllister: Um, speaking of writing and letting you know things, Dana, you had a a viewer that reached out about um a recent experience here in Las Vegas.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: Well, no, they didn't reach out, Sean.
- 7:12Dayna Roselli: Actually, they left us a review, and this is what we talked about last time.
- 7:16Dayna Roselli: Write us a note, let us know how you feel.
- 7:18Dayna Roselli: They gave us four stars, so I appreciated that.
- 7:21Dayna Roselli: Not five.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: I think they took away a star, and they were, by the way, a listener from Canada.
- 7:27Dayna Roselli: Uh, because he said that he was upset that I well, he didn't say he's upset with.
- 7:31Dayna Roselli: I'm exaggerating there, but uh, in so many words, he basically said that I had all these girls in for the Bachelorette and I recommended them staying at the Sahara that I should know better.
- 7:41Dayna Roselli: And so we only got four stars instead of five, but I'll take the four because that's good too.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: So then I read that and I went, but anyway, here's the deal.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: I'm sticking to my plan because the girls slept in the room.
- 7:54Dayna Roselli: By the way, they love the beds.
- 7:55Dayna Roselli: They said they were super comfortable, and they got ready in the room for an hour, and that's about how much time they spent in the room.
- 8:03Dayna Roselli: So that was the point of me suggesting the Sahara, is because I didn't want a big, massive, like you've got 10 girls, like, hey, meet you down at the end of the hall, you know, go to MGM Grand and all those other ones.
- 8:15Dayna Roselli: It's like such a long walk to get to anywhere.
- 8:18Dayna Roselli: Something boutique, something small, where they could be like, meet you downstairs and let's head to the Ubers, you know.
- 8:24Dayna Roselli: So, um, and I knew they weren't gonna be in the rooms very long, and we were spending so much money on other things.
- 8:29Dayna Roselli: I mean, we went to S, you know, XS Nightclub.
- 8:32Dayna Roselli: We had a table, we went to Thunder from Down Under, we had a nice dinner, it was a super freaky.
- 8:37Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 8:38Dayna Roselli: The last thing they wanted to do was spend a lot on a room when they were here for literally 24 hours that they weren't going to be in.
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 8:44Dayna Roselli: If we were doing if they were here longer and we were gonna do the whole Vegas experience that was centered around a hotel, I might have picked something, you know, different, but we just wanted something where they could stay.
- 8:55Sean McAllister: Right.
- 8:55Sean McAllister: And I know that proximity uh factored into the decision making and staying there as well.
- 9:02Sean McAllister: Um, but the point, again, to bring it back around is that if you take issue with something that you hear on the podcast or you maybe have a different opinion about Vegas experiences, email us.
- 9:18Sean McAllister: Or email us ideas at vegas-revealed.com or on any number of social media platforms, send us a message.
- 9:27Dayna Roselli: Some place we can answer.
- 9:29Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 9:29Dayna Roselli: It's so frustrating when we can't answer.
- 9:31Dayna Roselli: Someone on our Spotify commented on a podcast that we did about the Fountain Blue, and it was right after the tour that we did.
- 9:37Dayna Roselli: And we even said in the show notes, like, hey, we want to have uh do this podcast sitting in the car while we remember everything because we weren't allowed to take video.
- 9:48Dayna Roselli: And while we've got our mental notes on check because it and we said this isn't gonna be the best audio quality, right?
- 9:55Dayna Roselli: We recognized we didn't have our professional mics with us.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: We use these little lobs that you plug into the phone, and that but we thought, you know, whatever, we're getting out our first look and whatever.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: And the person commented on that you know, we should do better, and usually our auto audio quality is better, and they were disappointed.
- 10:09Dayna Roselli: I'm like, did you not hear what we said?
- 10:12Sean McAllister: And read the notes because the show notes usually have some good context as well.
- 10:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we were aware of that, but you know, we could have not done anything because we had like a shoot or something for our business after that, and we were gonna go do something else, and then by the time we would have got to it, it would have been the next day.
- 10:27Dayna Roselli: And so anyway, you're right.
- 10:29Dayna Roselli: Uh, someplace we can respond.
- 10:31Sean McAllister: Yeah, communicate with us, yeah.
- 10:33Sean McAllister: And listen, the number of stars you want to give is is up to you, but if there's a conversation that we can have, let's have a conversation.
- 10:42Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: We're all about it.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 10:44Dayna Roselli: I mean, we're communicators as we do for our whole life.
- 10:47Dayna Roselli: Um, okay, we mentioned rugby.
- 10:48Dayna Roselli: I I wanted to mention before we started the podcast, just two little items.
- 10:51Dayna Roselli: Smith Center is gonna be announcing their Broadway series soon, and that's our exciting.
- 10:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's our art center here in Las Vegas.
- 10:57Dayna Roselli: I know you go see a lot of shows there.
- 10:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:59Dayna Roselli: And then also Smoke and Mirrors is opening this week, and that is the approved cannabis lounge.
- 11:07Sean McAllister: Consumption lounge.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: Consumption lounge that uh is gonna be the first of its kind in Las Vegas, and so it's a big deal.
- 11:15Dayna Roselli: They're gonna have uh what can't cannabis, you know, uh a cocktail craft program, craft cocktail program.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: Um, I think they even have food inside.
- 11:24Dayna Roselli: It looks really nice, like a little bit of an upscale lounge.
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: So um I did get invited to go there and check it out on opening night.
- 11:31Dayna Roselli: I'm not sure if I'm gonna make it, but if I do, I will definitely talk about that next week.
- 11:35Sean McAllister: But that is a good uh that's a good thing for people to know that it is opening because we do have so many dispensaries, not only on the Las Vegas strip, but in the surrounding areas.
- 11:46Sean McAllister: Um, and I know that you know people have commented like, oh, I smell, you know, pot smoke everywhere these days.
- 11:54Sean McAllister: Um so this is the first consumption lounge that has been approved and is now opening um near the resort corridor.
- 12:03Sean McAllister: So not that it's going to alleviate people smoking pot out in public areas, but um it gives a destination for people who want to go and you know be in an environment where that's allowed.
- 12:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, where that's allowed.
- 12:20Dayna Roselli: So it'll be interesting to see how that goes.
- 12:21Dayna Roselli: Um we'll be following that for sure.
- 12:24Dayna Roselli: Hey, I went to the Pinky Ring, um, Bruno Ma's new cocktail lounge over at the Bellagio, and um, you're not allowed to bring phones in.
- 12:33Dayna Roselli: We talked about that, but you are allowed to bring phones in.
- 12:35Dayna Roselli: So I'm gonna correct that sentence.
- 12:37Dayna Roselli: It says no phones allowed on the sign.
- 12:39Dayna Roselli: Um, you can bring your phone in.
- 12:40Dayna Roselli: I just want to clarify, you just are encouraged not to take photos and videos and asked not to.
- 12:46Dayna Roselli: Um, that's something that Bruno doesn't want people to do.
- 12:49Dayna Roselli: And if anybody spots you doing that, uh a couple people have commented under our TikTok saying, Oh, I've seen videos from inside, and and maybe people are sneaking one here or there and not following along and having respect for what the rules are inside.
- 13:02Dayna Roselli: And so you might see some videos floating around, but you are asked not to take photos and videos at the Pinky Ring.
- 13:10Sean McAllister: Right.
- 13:11Sean McAllister: So if you do look at uh our Vegas revealed Instagram, um, there is uh video and some photos that are posted up there of the inside so you can see what it's like.
- 13:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 13:23Dayna Roselli: MGM Resorts International sent us some approved video.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 13:26Dayna Roselli: So we got that on.
- 13:28Dayna Roselli: So anyway, I went, but listen, here's the deal.
- 13:30Dayna Roselli: Um, and I talked a little bit about it on Instagram.
- 13:32Dayna Roselli: I loved it.
- 13:33Dayna Roselli: I love not being able to take photos and video.
- 13:36Dayna Roselli: Um, and I know we're creators and we have a podcast, and it's always good to get that stuff, but because of that, my mind is always thinking that.
- 13:43Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 13:43Dayna Roselli: So a lot of times when we go to these things, I'm always, I feel like in our heads, both of us, are working, right?
- 13:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:50Dayna Roselli: And so it was nice to go in, take it in, enjoy it, watch people enjoying it.
- 13:56Dayna Roselli: The dance floor was packed because people were not on their phones.
- 14:00Dayna Roselli: They were dancing, they were laughing, they were talking with their friends.
- 14:03Dayna Roselli: The hooligans, Bruno's band that's there for two weeks now, uh, probably only a week left at this point, are incredible.
- 14:10Dayna Roselli: Incredible.
- 14:11Dayna Roselli: And I love it.
- 14:11Dayna Roselli: They don't have a singer because Bruno's not there.
- 14:13Dayna Roselli: So it's just the band, but they play songs that everyone knows.
- 14:17Dayna Roselli: It's like Earth, Wind, and Fire, and they play Bruno songs and everything that you recognize.
- 14:23Dayna Roselli: And so uh the crowd loved it.
- 14:25Sean McAllister: So do you end up kind of becoming the de facto singer for the band?
- 14:30Sean McAllister: The audience.
- 14:30Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 14:31Sean McAllister: Because I feel like people would start singing along.
- 14:33Dayna Roselli: Yes, it no, it's true.
- 14:35Dayna Roselli: And it's a great vibe, Sean.
- 14:37Dayna Roselli: And we had a little table, they have tables of different amounts, and then there's like these couch areas, and then they have a dance floor, but there's also plenty of people that were just standing up near the bar, the bar's in the back.
- 14:47Dayna Roselli: It's dimly lit, it's beautiful.
- 14:49Dayna Roselli: When you walk in the hallway to get into the um cocktail lounge, Bruno's Grammys line the wall behind glass.
- 14:57Sean McAllister: Wow, like the actual trophies.
- 15:00Dayna Roselli: The actual Grammys.
- 15:01Sean McAllister: Wow.
- 15:02Sean McAllister: Yes, that's cool.
- 15:03Dayna Roselli: Uh, so that's really cool to be able to see.
- 15:05Dayna Roselli: And you know, I was talking with someone from MGM and they're saying, listen, Bruno really wants this to be, he wants people to dress up, he wants this to be a place where you're dancing on the dance floor and everyone's not videoing you.
- 15:17SPEAKER_02: I love honestly.
- 15:19Dayna Roselli: Let loose, be yourself, you know.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: So apparently there's a champagne room in the back that I didn't get a chance to look at that when Bruno's in town and stuff, and they're gonna have some kind of VIP package back there.
- 15:30Dayna Roselli: But here's the tip that comes along with the pinky ring.
- 15:32Dayna Roselli: Okay, is that I have heard, and you know, I think we all kind of uh expect that when Bruno is in town performing, he is definitely gonna pop into the pinky ring.
- 15:42Sean McAllister: Good.
- 15:43Dayna Roselli: So that's something to keep in mind.
- 15:45Dayna Roselli: If you can't go see Bruno, um maybe you try and go to the pinky ring that night and hope for the Bruno cameo, and he just added shows.
- 15:56Sean McAllister: Which is fantastic because we love a little bit of Bruno.
- 16:01Sean McAllister: Uh the shows that Bruno has added over at Park MGM, the Dolby Live Theater, are in June, August, and uh the very beginning of September.
- 16:12Sean McAllister: Only one show in September on September 1st.
- 16:14Sean McAllister: So from the beginning of June through September 1st, there's about a dozen dates that have been added to Bruno's residency.
- 16:22Sean McAllister: So if I were to make any recommendation, I would say make reservations for Pinky Ring now.
- 16:29Sean McAllister: Right.
- 16:30Sean McAllister: Because you know that people who have tickets to Bruno's show are also going to be trying to make reservations over at his club at Bellagio for those same nights.
- 16:40Sean McAllister: So act fast.
- 16:42Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 16:42Dayna Roselli: It it's a great spot.
- 16:44Dayna Roselli: Um, I love to see it busy.
- 16:45Dayna Roselli: It was very busy in there.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: And I I know the live music's gonna kick up every night at 9 p.m.
- 16:51Dayna Roselli: Doors open at five, it's open every day, and I think it's gonna be a great, a good hot spot.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: So um, congratulations to to Bruno Mars and the crew over there.
- 17:00Dayna Roselli: And I look forward to seeing what other kinds of live music he brings in there.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: I know he wants to have a variety.
- 17:05Dayna Roselli: At first they were thinking jazz lounge, but he's changed that and now he wants all varieties.
- 17:09Sean McAllister: I'm good with that.
- 17:10Sean McAllister: That's pretty cool.
- 17:10Sean McAllister: And you were saying that um when the band is up there and playing, like it's definitely a vibe and the focus is the band.
- 17:18Sean McAllister: But when the band is taking a break, like you can actually have good conversations.
- 17:22Sean McAllister: It's not overpowering in there.
- 17:24Dayna Roselli: No, and I loved that.
- 17:25Dayna Roselli: I was able to catch up with my friend.
- 17:26Dayna Roselli: We had a laugh, and you can talk still when the band's on, you know, a little bit, but just not like full-on conversations.
- 17:32Dayna Roselli: But yeah, exactly.
- 17:33Dayna Roselli: And they do take lots of breaks, but they also play for a good amount of time.
- 17:36Dayna Roselli: So it's not like, you know, two songs and then a break, two songs and a break.
- 17:39Dayna Roselli: No, they play, but then they take a good, you know, a break, and then that's good.
- 17:43Dayna Roselli: You like grab another drink, talk to the, you know, call the waitress over, or you know, talk to your friends for a little while, and then another set kicks up and it's just as good.
- 17:52Dayna Roselli: It was great.
- 17:52Dayna Roselli: I loved it.
- 17:53Dayna Roselli: I was there from I I expected to go for a little while, but I was there like 8 45 to like, well, my friend Denise went over the three-hour local parking limit.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: Oh, so you guys were enjoying vibe.
- 18:05Dayna Roselli: I know on a Sunday night.
- 18:06Sean McAllister: Look at that.
- 18:07Sean McAllister: By the way.
- 18:08Sean McAllister: And you are becoming quite the party animal.
- 18:10unknown: I am.
- 18:11Sean McAllister: I mean, out after nine on a Sunday, pulling all nighters at XS.
- 18:16Sean McAllister: I know.
- 18:17Dayna Roselli: I did love my XS night.
- 18:20Sean McAllister: 2024 Roselli is is knocking my socks off.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it might have even been at Zoop Zoo Nightclub for the Chiefs after party.
- 18:31Dayna Roselli: Who knows?
- 18:32Dayna Roselli: I can't reveal.
- 18:33Sean McAllister: Who knows?
- 18:33Dayna Roselli: Vegas Reveal, though, is really making waves all over the internet.
- 18:37Dayna Roselli: The truth with our Taylor Swift video.
- 18:39Sean McAllister: Uh, something else that's making waves with uh gamblers here in Las Vegas is the fact that Fountain Blue has started to tear match uh with players who come and sign up for the new rewards program at Fountain Blue.
- 18:54Sean McAllister: So, what this means, and I think we talked about it um in a previous episode, Fountain Blue was getting some pushback from players because when they were going to sign up for the rewards program, they weren't being matched.
- 19:08Sean McAllister: Their tier status was not being matched to their tier status at other properties on the Las Vegas strip.
- 19:16Sean McAllister: And a lot of people felt like, well, if you have a new uh rewards program, you don't really have a gambler's uh database built.
- 19:26Sean McAllister: Uh you need to do something to incentivize people to come in to sign up for your rewards and play at your property.
- 19:33Sean McAllister: Um, and that was a big criticism from the time that Fountain Blue uh opened, and they have now started tier matching through June 2nd.
- 19:44Sean McAllister: So there is a limited window um to go in and uh be tier matched with Fountain Blue rewards.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so I'm not a big gambler, so I I didn't understand that at first.
- 19:55Dayna Roselli: Like, what is everyone talking about?
- 19:56Dayna Roselli: And now I've learned a little more.
- 19:57Dayna Roselli: So it's basically if you are like you said, like a high tier at another property, then they will match you'll start at that tier at Fountain Blue.
- 20:06Sean McAllister: You will start at a higher tier.
- 20:07Sean McAllister: Guys, I I you know, um depending on what their rewards program is, um you won't have to start at the bottom and work your way up, essentially.
- 20:16Dayna Roselli: Okay, so I'm looking at the list now.
- 20:18Dayna Roselli: Okay.
- 20:18Dayna Roselli: So they're doing Caesars Rewards, Genting Rewards, Grazia awards, identity, infinity rewards, MGM rewards, unity by hard rock, Venetian rewards, and win rewards, among some others.
- 20:28Dayna Roselli: Okay, so a good list of other properties.
- 20:30Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 20:31Sean McAllister: So I think this is a it's a smart move by Fountain Blue.
- 20:35Sean McAllister: I think that they'll get a lot of players in there.
- 20:38Sean McAllister: Um, and I saw that there are some some perks to signing up for the Fountain Blue rewards as well.
- 20:43Sean McAllister: So it'll be good.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: I did actually get my Fountain Blue card and I did get$15 slot play.
- 20:49Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 20:50Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 20:50Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 20:50Dayna Roselli: So I um I hadn't used it yet because my friend was gambling and he used his card and I watched him play, and I'm like, oh, I'll play another time when I've got$20 in my pocket.
- 21:01Dayna Roselli: But anyway, um, hey, I went to the China Club that's now open at the Fountain Blue at as well, and I know people love to hear um about new restaurants that that open.
- 21:09Dayna Roselli: This is uh eclectic Chinese cuisine, and we went over there.
- 21:14Dayna Roselli: They presented us with a variety of different things that they offer at the restaurant.
- 21:18Dayna Roselli: First of all, the restaurant is stunning, it it's like reds and golds, and uh certain areas have like books, like like um little nooks.
- 21:27Dayna Roselli: It almost looks like a library.
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: Library.
- 21:29Dayna Roselli: Sorry, library, yes.
- 21:31Sean McAllister: That book place.
- 21:32Dayna Roselli: Yep, and then it as you look up, there's a blue sky.
- 21:34Dayna Roselli: It it actually goes with the daytime, and the wait staff was telling us that it actually dims very like minimally as the day goes on.
- 21:43Dayna Roselli: It actually goes along with the hour of the day, the lighting and the vibe and the feel.
- 21:48Dayna Roselli: So I thought that was really cool.
- 21:50Dayna Roselli: It's stunning.
- 21:51Dayna Roselli: Um, but listen, um, they are known for their peking duck, which is so popular in the Chinese culture, and they presented it, they sliced different parts.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: Of the duck and put them on plates, and then they brought us out these really thin, kind of they call them pancakes, some sauce and scallions.
- 22:08Dayna Roselli: And you just line the pancake, you put the duck in, the scallions delicious.
- 22:13Dayna Roselli: Uh, my favorite part was the ribs.
- 22:15Dayna Roselli: I highly recommend that you get the ribs there.
- 22:17Dayna Roselli: And I'm not even a rib person, they were delicious.
- 22:20Dayna Roselli: The flavoring was amazing.
- 22:22Dayna Roselli: And also really loved the fried rice.
- 22:27Dayna Roselli: That was great as well.
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: And um the dessert, we had some coconut kind of like sorbet, it was delicious as well.
- 22:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 22:35Sean McAllister: That sounds delicious.
- 22:36Sean McAllister: And I love that you're uh since Fountain Blue opened, you were like, oh, this is gonna be my new spot to just pop over.
- 22:43Sean McAllister: I love you have.
- 22:44Dayna Roselli: I have, I go all the time.
- 22:46Dayna Roselli: It's like I'm there all the time.
- 22:48Dayna Roselli: I even have the fountain blue card, as I said.
- 22:50Dayna Roselli: Um, but yeah, uh something about uh China Club is that it's actually from the creative mind of Hakasan.
- 22:57Dayna Roselli: So that's interesting, you know.
- 22:58Dayna Roselli: Hakasan's over at what MGM Grand, right?
- 23:01Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 23:01Dayna Roselli: Um, great spot, and then the washing potato is also open, and I am hearing we need to go there.
- 23:07Dayna Roselli: We've been invited to try that out.
- 23:09Dayna Roselli: Uh same owners and creators, apparently the dim sum is out of this world in that restaurant.
- 23:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 23:16Dayna Roselli: So we'll have to check that out.
- 23:18Sean McAllister: We will.
- 23:18Sean McAllister: All that over at Fountain Blue.
- 23:21Sean McAllister: Um, but I while you were at Fountain Blue, I was over at uh the Durango Resort, the new off-strip uh hotel casino that uh opened relatively recently.
- 23:33Sean McAllister: We've been talking about that as well.
- 23:35Sean McAllister: And man, it was packed.
- 23:38Sean McAllister: It was bumping on a Friday night.
- 23:41Sean McAllister: The restaurants were like packed to the gills.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: Oh, yep.
- 23:46Dayna Roselli: It's always so packed.
- 23:47Sean McAllister: I mean, the the sports book was busy, um the George, the indoor-outdoor sportsbook uh bar restaurant area, tons of people there.
- 23:59Sean McAllister: They had a uh country band that was playing outside on the patio, so we stepped outside and listened to them for a little bit.
- 24:06Sean McAllister: Um, but we ate at I Pono Cafe, and this is a restaurant that's inside the eat your heart out uh food hall over there at Durango, and it was so delicious.
- 24:20Sean McAllister: I had an ahi bowl with two different kinds of ahi and some crab salad in there.
- 24:26Sean McAllister: It was terrific.
- 24:27Sean McAllister: But what I loved, I as we were sitting at our our table and eating, uh, there was one of those little you know triangle things on the table that told you about the brunch specials.
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 24:39Sean McAllister: Or it's actually a breakfast menu.
- 24:41Sean McAllister: And there were two things on there that caught my eye, and it sounded well, my husband uh is a big breakfast person, loves you know, like the waffles, pancakes, French toast, all that kind of stuff.
- 24:53Sean McAllister: So a couple of these uh menu items were like right up his alley.
- 24:57Sean McAllister: One is called uh de toast.
- 24:59Sean McAllister: Okay, and this is sweet Hawaiian bread French toast with lilloquois butter and vanilla bean syrup.
- 25:07Sean McAllister: Okay, and I mean that just sounds as decadent as could be.
- 25:11Sean McAllister: Right.
- 25:12Sean McAllister: And the other one that caught our eye is called de cake, and these are macadamia nut and banana buttermilk pancakes with guava butter, coconut cream, and toasted coconut on top.
- 25:26SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 25:26Sean McAllister: I mean, between those two menu items, you are getting the island flavor and then some.
- 25:33Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 25:34Dayna Roselli: Seriously, I bet it's so popular, too.
- 25:38Dayna Roselli: You said there was lines.
- 25:39Sean McAllister: Oh, there was a there was a line uh for iPono Cafe, and it was well worth it.
- 25:45Sean McAllister: Uh Nielsen's frozen custard, there was a big line for that.
- 25:49Sean McAllister: Um, you know, they have uh the pizza place, Irv's Burgers, there every place over there was busy, and it's a scene, um, including over at the Bel Air Lounge, which is right off the lobby.
- 26:02Sean McAllister: And I mean, people were walking in there, they were dressed up for a night out, the music I could hear coming out of there.
- 26:09Sean McAllister: We didn't step inside, but it was like the place to go.
- 26:14Dayna Roselli: It is, yeah, and I see a lot of people having birthdays there and stuff too.
- 26:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 26:19Dayna Roselli: So like celebratory.
- 26:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I went to the Bel Air Lounge, and I think I talked about it uh, I don't know, maybe like 10 podcasts ago, but it the food was delicious.
- 26:26Dayna Roselli: So I recommend going there for a snack too.
- 26:29Dayna Roselli: Um, smaller bites, but great.
- 26:31Dayna Roselli: The sushi was uh top-notch.
- 26:33Dayna Roselli: I loved the food there.
- 26:35Dayna Roselli: So I can only imagine, and I know it's happening soon, when that that patio opens full on over at Bel Air when it gets just a little bit nicer, and it's already starting to.
- 26:44Dayna Roselli: Uh, we got some sun the other day, it was 70 degrees out, and it's getting into the 60s.
- 26:49Dayna Roselli: Um, but that is going to be even busier.
- 26:53Sean McAllister: Yeah, because the patio opens out to the uh pool.
- 26:57Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 26:57Sean McAllister: Summer House is another restaurant over at Durango, and we stopped in there because they have a big uh bakery counter in front, and their cookies are delicious.
- 27:08Sean McAllister: So we had to get some cookies to go and uh ration them out for ourselves.
- 27:14Sean McAllister: But um we walked through the restaurant and went out onto the patio, and as we were making our way back out, I asked the uh hostess if they had started brunch yet, and she said, No, they haven't started brunch yet, but probably sometime in March they're going to start brunch service at Summer House, and they've got a great patio that um opens up to the front of the resort.
- 27:36Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 27:37Dayna Roselli: It's interesting.
- 27:38Dayna Roselli: I I I think another podcast, let's have a discussion about food halls because I'm I'm not, and this is just personal opinion, I need to actually try it more often, I think.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: I I think that when I think of going out to eat, I don't think of going to a food hall because I'm just as I'm not not into the food, but I almost feel like I'm not going out.
- 27:58Dayna Roselli: I'm the type that doesn't go out to dinner just for the food.
- 28:01Dayna Roselli: I want to sit for a while, I want to chat, I want to have like a cozy booth or something where you get some great things to to look at in the restaurant and kind of have a vibe.
- 28:11Dayna Roselli: So whenever I think of food, I'm just like, I don't know if I would go to a food hall.
- 28:14Dayna Roselli: But anyway, I think that's a discussion for another day.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: But maybe like the the perks and maybe we chat with some people, maybe we do this on the TV show, a chat with some people what they love about food halls.
- 28:24Sean McAllister: Yeah, because I it's as we've said, it's become a thing.
- 28:28Sean McAllister: It is hardcore a thing.
- 28:31Sean McAllister: The Rio just opened their own food hall, uh, where the Carnival World Buffet used to be.
- 28:36Sean McAllister: So that is the new thing.
- 28:38Sean McAllister: It's the way that things are are going.
- 28:41Sean McAllister: Um and the food hall at Durango is top-notch.
- 28:45Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 28:45Sean McAllister: Well, and it gets they did a great job with it.
- 28:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you know, it doesn't feel like you're in a food or a food court.
- 28:52Dayna Roselli: No, it doesn't.
- 28:52Sean McAllister: I mean, it's like standalone restaurants almost.
- 28:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and you were there on a Friday.
- 28:56Dayna Roselli: I went there on like a Wednesday night, and the same thing, there were lines.
- 28:59Dayna Roselli: When I walk by, I eat your heart out.
- 29:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so I know it's it's super fun.
- 29:04Sean McAllister: I'm so happy that uh things are going well over at Durango and that the neighborhood around the casino has really seemed to embrace it and make that the local spot.
- 29:16Dayna Roselli: And they had that slap tournament there.
- 29:18Dayna Roselli: Oh my god, what is it called?
- 29:19Dayna Roselli: The slap.
- 29:20Dayna Roselli: Oh, I forgot.
- 29:21Dayna Roselli: I'd have to look it up.
- 29:22Dayna Roselli: But um Tom Brady went.
- 29:25Dayna Roselli: I know Dana White was there.
- 29:26Dayna Roselli: There were a lot of celebrities at this slap.
- 29:29Dayna Roselli: I started following them on Twitter because I was like trying to learn all about it.
- 29:33Dayna Roselli: Because I'm like, I even put on Twitter, like, wait, this is a thing, and everyone's like, Yeah, where have you been?
- 29:37Dayna Roselli: I'm like, I apparently somewhere else.
- 29:40Sean McAllister: Yeah, Power Slap.
- 29:41Sean McAllister: Power Slap is what it's called, and it's owned by Dana White.
- 29:44Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 29:45Dayna Roselli: So, and he's a regular over there at the Durango.
- 29:48Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 29:48Dayna Roselli: So, I mean, people came out to support him, and and everyone's going, wait, Tom Brady's over at Durango.
- 29:54Dayna Roselli: And it's like, yeah, I mean, you know, Durango, Durango is a uh is a hot spot, I tell you.
- 29:59Sean McAllister: It is, and it's a lot, it's a nice, it's a really nice property.
- 30:04Sean McAllister: I was really glad to get over there and see everyone enjoying that so much.
- 30:09Dayna Roselli: Hey, and real quick, let's go back to the Fountain Blue just for a quick mention.
- 30:14Dayna Roselli: Live with Kelly and Mark is coming to Fountain Blue.
- 30:17Dayna Roselli: We mentioned that on February 26th and 27th, and uh they need to fill the seats in there in the theater for the show.
- 30:25Dayna Roselli: And so if you're interested, they're giving away free tickets.
- 30:28Dayna Roselli: I put the link on my Facebook, I'll put it in our like Instagram stories and stuff too.
- 30:32Dayna Roselli: But um, I know that there was some room and they have a pretty good guest lineup on the show for the two days that they're shooting.
- 30:38Dayna Roselli: And so if you want to go see a live show taping, and if you like Kelly Rippa and her husband Mark, um, go see the show.
- 30:45Sean McAllister: Yeah, it's gonna be a good time.
- 30:47Sean McAllister: Those two have a good time together, and I know they have uh a place in their hearts for Las Vegas.
- 30:53Sean McAllister: They ended up being married here uh years ago.
- 30:57Sean McAllister: But um, they're gonna be back, and that show is gonna be fun.
- 31:00Sean McAllister: We're looking forward to that.
- 31:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we're going as well.
- 31:02Dayna Roselli: Um, Jersey Boys is opening over at the Orleans.
- 31:04Dayna Roselli: Just a heads up, Sean and I are gonna hit the red carpet this week and gather some interviews and see the show.
- 31:10Dayna Roselli: So next week we'll let you know about that.
- 31:14Dayna Roselli: Um, excited to see how a residency does over at the Orleans.
- 31:18Sean McAllister: I know it's something new for that property.
- 31:20Sean McAllister: And uh the Jersey Boys is, I think, a great option.
- 31:24Sean McAllister: You can't go wrong with Jersey Boys.
- 31:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it's a staple, right?
- 31:27Dayna Roselli: And like I think when you ever you see a Jersey boy show, it's always like, oh, you know, you're kind of more sadly, it's more about the cast, right?
- 31:35Dayna Roselli: Does this cast mesh?
- 31:36Dayna Roselli: Do they work?
- 31:37Dayna Roselli: It's not the storyline, the storyline is is loved.
- 31:40Sean McAllister: Right.
- 31:40Sean McAllister: So and the music.
- 31:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and the music.
- 31:42Dayna Roselli: So good.
- 31:43Dayna Roselli: The music is so good.
- 31:44Dayna Roselli: I'm ready to stand and dance.
- 31:45Dayna Roselli: I'm excited.
- 31:46Dayna Roselli: Get ready.
- 31:48Dayna Roselli: Oh, yeah, all of it.
- 31:50Sean McAllister: Let's do some tips.
- 31:54Dayna Roselli: John, all I've been hearing for years and years is Whataburger is the best burger spot.
- 32:00Dayna Roselli: I have so many friends that live here from Texas and friends from that I've met through the years from Texas, and they say Whataburger is the best burger in all of the land.
- 32:11Dayna Roselli: It's better than In N Out, it's better than Shake Shack, it's better than Fat Burger, all those.
- 32:16Dayna Roselli: So um finally, Las Vegas has opened a Whataburger.
- 32:20Sean McAllister: A Whataburger, yeah.
- 32:21Sean McAllister: So it's down on the Las Vegas strip.
- 32:24Sean McAllister: And I'm excited for this because I know I've probably mentioned to you at least five different times that uh Whataburger and In N Out are like ranked as the two healthiest fast food chains.
- 32:38Sean McAllister: I know.
- 32:38Sean McAllister: I'm like, if I can get a good burger and have it not be like instantly clogging my arteries, I love that because I would probably eat a burger every single day for the rest of my life.
- 32:50Sean McAllister: I love burgers.
- 32:51Dayna Roselli: Well, and I pulled the little study just because you had mentioned that.
- 32:54Dayna Roselli: And this was a 2023 study by gambling.com.
- 32:58Dayna Roselli: And apparently the Whats is the healthiest, like you said, fast food cheeseburger in the country.
- 33:04Dayna Roselli: The study assesses factors like calories, fat, sugar, and sodium.
- 33:09Dayna Roselli: And the WhatsApp has the second lowest fat and calorie content per ounce and also ranks well in the salt and sugar categories.
- 33:17Sean McAllister: All right.
- 33:18Sean McAllister: You like that?
- 33:19Sean McAllister: I like it.
- 33:19Dayna Roselli: Spilling the facts.
- 33:21Dayna Roselli: So there you have it.
- 33:22Dayna Roselli: Um, listen, our friend Melissa, she went down to What's her kids because they're from Texas, they love it.
- 33:28Dayna Roselli: Um, and we got the lowdown from her.
- 33:31Dayna Roselli: Now, she said it was packed.
- 33:33Dayna Roselli: Uh, there were about 50 people in line, 50, you know, people, families, whatever.
- 33:38Dayna Roselli: She said it did move really quick, wasn't the end of the world.
- 33:41Dayna Roselli: Um, but that the meal was great.
- 33:44Dayna Roselli: The average meal is about 13 to 17.
- 33:47Dayna Roselli: She said it did cost her 50 bucks for her and her two kids.
- 33:51Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 33:52Dayna Roselli: But she said they did get, you know, burgers, huge drinks, and the fries.
- 33:57Dayna Roselli: There's a lot of fries.
- 33:58Dayna Roselli: Um, so it's like a good portion.
- 34:00Dayna Roselli: And I'm like, I mean, that's that's a Vegas price.
- 34:03Dayna Roselli: You know, 50 bucks isn't it?
- 34:04Sean McAllister: Listen, it's on the Las Vegas strip.
- 34:06Sean McAllister: It's on the strip.
- 34:07Sean McAllister: You're not gonna really find a lot for less than that.
- 34:11Sean McAllister: For a for a whole meal, drink, side, and sandwich.
- 34:15Dayna Roselli: And she said the kids were stuffed, we were definitely full, you know, and so you know, if you want a good, she said that she loved uh seeing so many people line up.
- 34:22Dayna Roselli: She was walking there, she'd parked over at Aria, and she also said because she's, you know, Nevada local, and is it everyone gets the first hour free at MGM properties?
- 34:31Dayna Roselli: I can't remember.
- 34:32Dayna Roselli: Um, but anyway, it's three hours for locals with Nevada ID.
- 34:36Dayna Roselli: Anyway, she said she was, you know, there for about an hour and a half, so she was able to park for free.
- 34:40Dayna Roselli: They walked, they walked over and it was easy.
- 34:42Dayna Roselli: Um, but anyway, she said it's you know attached to this Perry's Pizza that is also just opened.
- 34:47Dayna Roselli: And she said there were screen TVs, a full bar.
- 34:50Dayna Roselli: So it's like a whole experience.
- 34:52Sean McAllister: That's really cool.
- 34:53Sean McAllister: And it's a great location.
- 34:54Sean McAllister: There's gonna be a lot of uh foot traffic that comes in and out of there, too.
- 35:00Dayna Roselli: I think they're gonna count on that, right?
- 35:01Sean McAllister: I mean, I would imagine because there's not a a set parking lot that's immediately adjacent to the restaurant.
- 35:09Sean McAllister: So if you do park at Aria, like there's a little bit of a walk to get back out to the strip.
- 35:14Dayna Roselli: Good.
- 35:15Dayna Roselli: You walk, you walk a little quarter of the burger off.
- 35:18Sean McAllister: You walk off part of your healthy burger.
- 35:20Dayna Roselli: She also loved how clean and modern it was, by the way.
- 35:23Dayna Roselli: Ooh.
- 35:24Dayna Roselli: So that makes me think are the Texas ones not as clean?
- 35:26Dayna Roselli: I don't know.
- 35:28Sean McAllister: Well, they probably just been around for a minute.
- 35:30Sean McAllister: True.
- 35:31Sean McAllister: True, very true.
- 35:33Dayna Roselli: So yeah, Whataburger is officially open.
- 35:35Dayna Roselli: I know a lot of you were looking forward to that one.
- 35:37Dayna Roselli: Um, I'm not a huge fan of In N Out, so I look forward to trying Whataburger and the way she sent us a video, which we're gonna show in the TV show, um, of the burgers, and I like that they look well, they're large.
- 35:49Sean McAllister: They're like like there's some meat to them.
- 35:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, but they're like kind of like what you always talk about, like the Wendy's burgers.
- 35:57Dayna Roselli: They're not high and small, they're wider.
- 36:00Sean McAllister: Right.
- 36:00Dayna Roselli: You know what I mean?
- 36:01Dayna Roselli: Like wider.
- 36:02Sean McAllister: Good surface area burger.
- 36:04Dayna Roselli: Yes, that's it.
- 36:05Dayna Roselli: Good surface area burger.
- 36:07Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, Blue Man Group has been a staple here in Las Vegas for decades.
- 36:12Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we just ran into them, remember, on the field over at Open Group.
- 36:15Sean McAllister: We did it opening night at Super Bowl.
- 36:17Dayna Roselli: We didn't get we didn't strike up a conversation because they don't talk.
- 36:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, they're not very chatty.
- 36:22Dayna Roselli: They made eyes at us.
- 36:23Sean McAllister: They did.
- 36:24Sean McAllister: Uh Blue Man Group, they've been here in Las Vegas forever.
- 36:28Sean McAllister: Their show is now playing over at Luxor.
- 36:31Sean McAllister: And the reason that they've been here for so long is because they keep changing up the show and making it fresh and new for visitors who have maybe seen the show before and want to come back and see it again.
- 36:42Sean McAllister: Well, that changeup is continuing.
- 36:45Sean McAllister: They are uh putting into the show, they're replacing one of the acts in the show with another audience participation act that has never been seen before in the Las Vegas show.
- 36:57Sean McAllister: So if you maybe are have been wanting to go see Blue Man Group again, it would be a good time to schedule that show on your calendar.
- 37:07Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I think the last act they incorporated one audience member, and it says this new act incorporates audience participation as well, this time for two guests.
- 37:16Dayna Roselli: So if you're that type of person that likes to get called up on stage, now it could be two of you.
- 37:21Sean McAllister: I've never liked being called up on stage.
- 37:23Sean McAllister: Ever since kindergarten, we had an assembly and there were clowns going through the aisles, and I would had to I like clung to my teacher and I had like the color drained from me.
- 37:38Sean McAllister: I was horrified that a clown was going to choose me to go up on stage.
- 37:43Dayna Roselli: I mean, haven't people learned yet that clowns aren't like loved by kids?
- 37:47Dayna Roselli: All of kids.
- 37:47Dayna Roselli: Some kids do love clowns, but I mean there's there's that frightening factor.
- 37:51Dayna Roselli: Like, why do we still keep doing it?
- 37:54Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 37:54Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 37:56Sean McAllister: I guess it's just like so ingrained in like the child experience.
- 38:01Sean McAllister: Like, oh, kids love clowns.
- 38:02Sean McAllister: Well, no, they don't.
- 38:05Dayna Roselli: There used to be a woman that lived in in where I'm from, Henrietta, New York, and people knew her as the she was a clown that visited a lot of the schools, and I would always laugh if I got um stuck next to her at a stoplight.
- 38:17Sean McAllister: We had same thing in Brockport.
- 38:19Sean McAllister: We had a clown who lived in our neighborhood, and you would see him drive by all done up in his clown makeup.
- 38:26Dayna Roselli: And now we live in Vegas and it's completely normal.
- 38:29Sean McAllister: No kidding.
- 38:29Sean McAllister: It's like tame.
- 38:31Sean McAllister: See, our childhood experiences were preparing us for Las Vegas all along.
- 38:35Sean McAllister: But I always wondered like, is he driving the car with those big shoes on?
- 38:39Sean McAllister: And how?
- 38:42Dayna Roselli: Probably not.
- 38:44Dayna Roselli: But you know, he did his makeup before he left the house.
- 38:47Dayna Roselli: Let's put it that way.
- 38:48Sean McAllister: So anyway, back to Blue Man Group.
- 38:51Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 38:51Dayna Roselli: Um, listen, uh, why we're talking about this as a tip as well is that they're having a ticket special through February 29th.
- 38:58Dayna Roselli: You've got a little bit of time.
- 38:59Dayna Roselli: Um, you can purchase two tickets for 99 bucks for select shows through the oh, through the rest of uh wait a minute here, hold on.
- 39:06Dayna Roselli: From now until February 29th, guests can purchase two tickets for 99 for select shows through the rest.
- 39:11Dayna Roselli: Oh, I see.
- 39:11Dayna Roselli: So you can purchase the tickets.
- 39:13Dayna Roselli: Sorry, I was wanted to get that right.
- 39:14Dayna Roselli: You can purchase the tickets through February 29th, but the tickets can be for shows through 2024.
- 39:22Sean McAllister: Right.
- 39:23Dayna Roselli: So if you're coming into town in 2024, get online, get your tickets now before the end of February, and then you can come anytime after that, whatever date you pick.
- 39:33Dayna Roselli: There are a couple blackout dates um because it's probably like a heavy, heavy weekend.
- 39:38Sean McAllister: Yeah, but if you are coming with a family, I mean this is a great deal to take advantage of.
- 39:43Sean McAllister: You'll save some you'll save some good cash on tickets.
- 39:46Sean McAllister: Um, but you have to act before February 29th, even if you're coming to Vegas later in the year.
- 39:52Sean McAllister: So just keep that in mind.
- 39:54Dayna Roselli: Because it it's a leap year, right?
- 39:55Dayna Roselli: Or is it what's going on this year?
- 39:57Sean McAllister: It is a leap year.
- 39:58Sean McAllister: Yeah, it is a leap year.
- 40:00Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 40:00Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 40:01Sean McAllister: So we've got uh 29 days.
- 40:02Dayna Roselli: 29 days instead of 28.
- 40:04unknown: Okay.
- 40:05Sean McAllister: So you've got an extra day to take advantage of this offer this year.
- 40:09Sean McAllister: Any other year.
- 40:10Sean McAllister: Good to know.
- 40:11Sean McAllister: It'll be done on the 28th.
- 40:12Sean McAllister: Uh, blueman.com is where you can go for tickets.
- 40:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and when this podcast drops, everyone will kind of be in town already.
- 40:20Dayna Roselli: But you know, the rock and roll marathon is this weekend in Las Vegas.
- 40:23Dayna Roselli: So welcome all the runners, have a great time.
- 40:26Dayna Roselli: We have entertainment and DJs and all sorts of fun stuff planned for you.
- 40:29Sean McAllister: Hey, speaking of DJs, when is Cascade's birthday party?
- 40:33Dayna Roselli: I don't know, but we looked at the poster and your mom wrote and thought, because we shared it in our Instagram stories and thought it was you, and we went, oh my gosh, Cascade looks just like Sean.
- 40:44Sean McAllister: The picture on this poster.
- 40:45Dayna Roselli: Picture on the poster.
- 40:46Sean McAllister: I I can I can see it.
- 40:48Dayna Roselli: Totally looks like you.
- 40:50Sean McAllister: It's really funny.
- 40:51Dayna Roselli: When is that?
- 40:52Dayna Roselli: You need to be invited.
- 40:53Sean McAllister: February 24th uh at Zook at Resorts World for Cascade's birthday celebration.
- 40:59Dayna Roselli: Oh my god, this sad.
- 41:00Sean McAllister: It's a resident headliner over there.
- 41:01Dayna Roselli: I think we might need to go, and you might need to get up there and pop in.
- 41:04Dayna Roselli: Turn the tables with him.
- 41:06Sean McAllister: I don't know how that would go.
- 41:08Dayna Roselli: But you've got to angle your face to the right side.
- 41:10Sean McAllister: And like slightly look down.
- 41:12Dayna Roselli: Slightly look down, gel the hair forward a little bit.
- 41:15Dayna Roselli: But yeah, on this poster, if you look at Cascade, I would say I wouldn't be like, oh, he looks like Sean, but in this one poster.
- 41:23Sean McAllister: This angle, yeah.
- 41:24Sean McAllister: I thought it was funny.
- 41:25Sean McAllister: My mom, she sent a message this morning and she was like, I just have a question.
- 41:30Sean McAllister: Why are you on the poster for Cascade's birthday party?
- 41:34Sean McAllister: Are you hosting it?
- 41:35Sean McAllister: I was like, no, that's not me.
- 41:37Sean McAllister: That's Cascade, the DJ.
- 41:40Sean McAllister: He's on his own birthday.
- 41:42Dayna Roselli: We need to do a split screen and put it up or something, and I'm gonna have you stand just like that.
- 41:47Dayna Roselli: That is so funny.
- 41:48Dayna Roselli: Or you need to be Cascade for Halloween now.
- 41:51Sean McAllister: Oh, maybe I will.
- 41:52Dayna Roselli: You know?
- 41:52Sean McAllister: That would be a good one.
- 41:53Dayna Roselli: We can find you, like, you can bring around, like, well, I guess, well, these days your laptop.
- 41:58unknown: Yeah.
- 41:59SPEAKER_02: And some headphones.
- 42:01Dayna Roselli: Yeah, some headphones.
- 42:02Dayna Roselli: There you go, that kind of thing.
- 42:04Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 42:04Dayna Roselli: I think that's a podcast.
- 42:06Dayna Roselli: Thank you to Vegas near me for sponsoring.
- 42:08Dayna Roselli: Make sure you download the app.
- 42:09Dayna Roselli: I've used it, I used it actually a few times during Super Bowl week because we were heading some places that we we didn't know and what there was to eat there.
- 42:16Dayna Roselli: And so I loved it.
- 42:17Dayna Roselli: So download that.
