- 0:21Speaker 1: This morning. There we go.
- 0:24Speaker 2: Listen. First week back. Things are going to happen, it tubbs.
- 0:29Speaker 2: His computer has crashed for the last couple of days.
- 0:32Speaker 2: That's fine. I can't figure out where I put some things,
- 0:37Speaker 2: you know, nice stuff. It's fine, it's fine. You can't
- 0:41Speaker 2: let this stuff get to you. I still so. I
- 0:45Speaker 2: got the thing that's been going around. I got it.
- 0:48Speaker 2: No one really wants to give you sympathy for it.
- 0:50Speaker 2: I was talking about earlier this week. If you haven't
- 0:52Speaker 2: had it, I do not wish it upon you. If
- 0:55Speaker 2: you get it, it's it's not great. It's a bad flu.
- 1:00Speaker 2: The thing is that chills, the aches, that part like.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I walked around my house literally with every step going
- 1:08Speaker 2: ah ah ah ah. Now I couldn't figure outf that's
- 1:14Speaker 2: because I really was not much pain, or that I
- 1:16Speaker 2: live alone.
- 1:18Speaker 1: You're probably not much pain.
- 1:20Speaker 2: But I think if I was with someone, I probably
- 1:22Speaker 2: wouldn't make those sounds.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Oh I see what you're saying. Wouldn't you get the
- 1:26Speaker 1: somebody that you were craving if you did make those sounds.
- 1:29Speaker 2: There's nobody giving any sympathy for this flu. It's just
- 1:32Speaker 2: not happening. Yeah, I understand that at this point, because
- 1:36Speaker 2: everybody's like, oh, it's just the flu. Oh I've had
- 1:38Speaker 2: it all, you know, Yeah, my friend has. It's just
- 1:41Speaker 2: not a lot. Yeah. One of the things I didn't
- 1:44Speaker 2: notice I want to talk about later this morning. And
- 1:49Speaker 2: I don't know if Uber has suggestion boxes okay and
- 1:54Speaker 2: uber eats toggle over there for a second.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Yeah, well I got some.
- 1:58Speaker 2: I got a big suggestion for uber eats this morning,
- 2:02Speaker 2: and I'm surprised that the first time that we've really
- 2:07Speaker 2: gone deep into it. But if you work at uber,
- 2:12Speaker 2: or you drive at Uber, or you work at one
- 2:17Speaker 2: of the restaurants that uber eats picks up food.
- 2:20Speaker 1: From, Okay, I have an idea, and this is just
- 2:24Speaker 1: uber or is it like all right share and all
- 2:26Speaker 1: food delivery as well?
- 2:27Speaker 2: For me, it was specific to uber eats because that's
- 2:30Speaker 2: the one I was using. Okay, So, and I'm not
- 2:34Speaker 2: a tech guy, so don't think I'm trying to step
- 2:36Speaker 2: on anybody's turf here. I just am a customer, clearly.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Not all right. We don't make me laugh because I
- 2:42Speaker 2: have the food on a cough. So we're supposed to
- 2:50Speaker 2: be on funny all week. That's the thing. It's coming
- 2:56Speaker 2: up on Friday. I don't know. I'm I allowed to
- 2:58Speaker 2: kiss anybody on Friday. I don't, oh, because I don't.
- 3:02Speaker 2: I'm not contagious. I've had this thing for over a week,
- 3:05Speaker 2: but I'm so coughing like that.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You know, people say they're not contagious. It makes me
- 3:08Speaker 1: feel like they're contagious.
- 3:09Speaker 2: No, I'm for sure not yeah, for sure, Yeah, no,
- 3:14Speaker 2: I'm trust me. Doctor me says for sure, not sure,
- 3:17Speaker 2: not clear? All right, let's go. Sophia, Good morning, our
- 3:21Speaker 2: intern in for uh Tanya this morning. How are you?
- 3:24Speaker 1: Good morning?
- 3:25Speaker 3: I'm doing actually great. Today is my sister's birthday.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Happy birthday to your sister.
- 3:30Speaker 2: What are you doing for your sister?
- 3:33Speaker 1: Well, I bought her this.
- 3:33Speaker 3: Cute little perfume when I was doing my Sephora shopping,
- 3:37Speaker 3: so I give that to her earlier, so we kind
- 3:40Speaker 3: of already handled the whole birthday thing.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Oh good, And do you take her off for a meal? Lunch, dinner,
- 3:44Speaker 2: anything like that.
- 3:46Speaker 1: No, she's younger or older.
- 3:49Speaker 3: She's older, so I feel like she's the older sister
- 3:52Speaker 3: who always takes.
- 3:52Speaker 4: Care of me.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Are you tight?
- 3:55Speaker 1: We're very very close, like.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Kardashian close, or like we're kind of close.
- 4:00Speaker 1: We're closer, I like to think at least.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Oh, all right, what's her name?
- 4:05Speaker 1: Her name is Nicole?
- 4:07Speaker 2: Happy with Nicole?
- 4:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I think.
- 4:10Speaker 2: A lot of birthdays are now in my birthday notes? Jay,
- 4:15Speaker 2: did you keep notes for your people with birthdays?
- 4:18Speaker 1: It's just in my calendar because it'll be like in
- 4:21Speaker 1: their contact so then it pops up.
- 4:24Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I don't know that part, but I've got
- 4:26Speaker 2: one on the A friend on the fifteenth, the sixteenth,
- 4:29Speaker 2: the eighteenth January, this twenty second January, the twenty third,
- 4:33Speaker 2: the twenty fourth, and the twenty six These are all
- 4:34Speaker 2: good friends.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Yeah, that's wild.
- 4:37Speaker 2: What happened with their parents this month?
- 4:40Speaker 1: When does the Capricorn season end in twenty the twentieth?
- 4:45Speaker 1: Oh okay, that's interesting. Nineteenth. I find it cool that
- 4:47Speaker 1: you're friends with so many Capricorns. And then Aquarius.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Yeah, so Rod is a cappy, James a caappy, Ted's
- 4:54Speaker 2: a cappy. Then Regan, Antonio, Benny and.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Kurter not and no, but like and those are like
- 4:59Speaker 1: your good friends my tities. Yeah, that's really interesting. Don't
- 5:04Speaker 1: you think that's weird?
- 5:06Speaker 2: Do I think it's weird?
- 5:08Speaker 1: Not weird, but like how the universe brought you are
- 5:11Speaker 1: your close friends, not tities.
- 5:14Speaker 2: Whatever you don't made me laugh.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Say besties.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Tities is what we call each other.
- 5:22Speaker 1: I've never in my life. Today is the first day
- 5:25Speaker 1: on this planet that I've ever heard some ties.
- 5:29Speaker 2: Dude, our group texts tities. It's weird anyway, let's come back.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Oh but it's kill y'all are.
- 5:39Speaker 4: So?
- 5:39Speaker 2: The flu has been bad. It's going around. I caught
- 5:41Speaker 2: it on on New Year's Eve out in the cold
- 5:44Speaker 2: in New York. I think it hit me then. So
- 5:47Speaker 2: all over the weekend and last few days, I haven't
- 5:49Speaker 2: done as much stuff as I want to do. I
- 5:53Speaker 2: am not a good patient. I am the most impatient patient.
- 5:57Speaker 2: I'm not good at being sick. I don't like it.
- 6:01Speaker 2: I don't want it. Nobody wants it. But I'm just
- 6:04Speaker 2: not good. When they tell me to rest, I find
- 6:06Speaker 2: it really annoying. So I've been not doing as much
- 6:11Speaker 2: as I want to do. I dig get my leg
- 6:13Speaker 2: weights out. I've been laying on my floor unduring weg
- 6:15Speaker 2: weights because I can't not do not like I have
- 6:17Speaker 2: to do something. So I, Sophie, in case you're wondering,
- 6:20Speaker 2: I have ankle weights. It's part of my workout. Oh yeah,
- 6:23Speaker 2: that's right.
- 6:24Speaker 1: But then the month of the Supper was kind of
- 6:27Speaker 1: rough for you in that field because you had your
- 6:29Speaker 1: hernia surgery and you were told to rest. Then you
- 6:32Speaker 1: got through the holidays and your birthday, but then you
- 6:34Speaker 1: got sick.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm rest rest advice, right. I didn't really rest
- 6:41Speaker 2: after her anything either. Doctors told need to chill out
- 6:44Speaker 2: a little bit more so, but that's fine. So here
- 6:47Speaker 2: we are. No, because I wasn't going anywhere, I was
- 6:51Speaker 2: ordering food. Now. I really was craving this Mediterranean sort of.
- 6:57Speaker 2: It's a little Israeli, a little Turkish, Mediterranean, Greek. It's
- 7:01Speaker 2: a hybrid anyway. So I found that uber it's comes
- 7:03Speaker 2: to me. I get in there and I start ordering,
- 7:06Speaker 2: and I kind of I liked. I was interested in
- 7:08Speaker 2: having small bites to taste different things. So I went
- 7:12Speaker 2: down starters first, you know, the appetizer thingies, and I
- 7:17Speaker 2: just ordered dose and Then I went back and I
- 7:19Speaker 2: reviewed my order, adding to car and the car review
- 7:22Speaker 2: my cart, okay, a little bit more because I was
- 7:24Speaker 2: feeling not so good, so I wanted to, like, I
- 7:26Speaker 2: want some stuff. I want some soups. I want some kebabs.
- 7:28Speaker 2: I wanted some hummuses. I want some I really wanted
- 7:32Speaker 2: that Baba ganoche. I was craving ganoosh, that Baba gonooche
- 7:37Speaker 2: in such a roastic plant. I wanted some peda. I
- 7:39Speaker 2: wanted to peda warm hot peda, you know they slapped it.
- 7:43Speaker 2: I wanted that stuff. I wanted to tear the peeda
- 7:46Speaker 2: off so I could see. I could see the steam
- 7:48Speaker 2: coming out of peda as I was tearing while I
- 7:49Speaker 2: was really exciting, sane. Then I got into the options
- 7:53Speaker 2: place had options. You want to add protein, added an egg,
- 7:56Speaker 2: got a chicken to chicken? You want to add a
- 7:58Speaker 2: sauce to sauce. So I went through and I didn't
- 8:01Speaker 2: you know, I'm not a non bell pepper for me
- 8:03Speaker 2: causes guests didn'tell him that, but just no pepper know
- 8:06Speaker 2: this that and the other back few cart. All of
- 8:08Speaker 2: a sudden, there's quite a few items in there, more
- 8:10Speaker 2: than I probably should have ordered, but sisany Sophia to
- 8:15Speaker 2: thoughtfully go through it, scan the whole menu, and then
- 8:18Speaker 2: they ask you one more time. Are you sure you
- 8:19Speaker 2: don't want to add cinnamon or something, you know, whatever
- 8:22Speaker 2: the end. So I'm like, no, I don't want toy that. Guys,
- 8:25Speaker 2: I've been doing this for thirty minutes, right, I like
- 8:28Speaker 2: to place my order. Uber ets so very exciting, actually
- 8:32Speaker 2: a grin on my face. I'm about to time this.
- 8:35Speaker 2: I'm about to time this delivery for when I need it,
- 8:38Speaker 2: which is gonna be about an hour. Yeah, and then
- 8:41Speaker 2: I hit boop go to check out. After I viewed
- 8:45Speaker 2: the cart several times. Yep, made my choices. What did
- 8:48Speaker 2: they tell me? Store closed?
- 8:51Speaker 5: So annoying?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Store is closed? Tell me that before I go through
- 8:58Speaker 2: my life.
- 8:59Speaker 1: Something was not closed when you started your order forty
- 9:03Speaker 1: five minutes ago.
- 9:04Speaker 2: No, that's not true. It's store closed for delivery.
- 9:11Speaker 1: Sometimes they do that if they get too busy. You
- 9:13Speaker 1: got to get in. If you see a window.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Ordered, no no no no no no. Software software people,
- 9:21Speaker 2: you need to tell us at the beginning if they're
- 9:22Speaker 2: not doing delivery that night, because you can't come on.
- 9:26Speaker 2: You can't invest with all the options you give us.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I mean, we thank you for that, but with all
- 9:30Speaker 2: the options and I view in the car then going
- 9:31Speaker 2: back and forth, back and forth, back and forth, back
- 9:33Speaker 2: and forth. I want Uber Eights needs to tell you
- 9:37Speaker 2: or any delivery at the top of the show before
- 9:40Speaker 2: you start watching it that the store is not doing delivery.
- 9:44Speaker 1: It should at least tell you once it happens. But
- 9:47Speaker 1: I'm guarantee you it did not happen when you started
- 9:49Speaker 1: your order. That was human error on your part.
- 9:51Speaker 2: No, no, no, it said store not open for delivery
- 9:56Speaker 2: or closed for delivery.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Yes, that happens when they get too busy, so they
- 10:00Speaker 1: were probably open for delivery at and then.
- 10:05Speaker 2: You in the middle of your Then while I agree
- 10:08Speaker 2: with that, now, I chose to let this drive me crazy. Wow,
- 10:14Speaker 2: you know a lot of things. I'm choosing not to
- 10:16Speaker 2: bother me in twenty six that really bothered me. So
- 10:19Speaker 2: a lot of time and effort of investment. And I
- 10:21Speaker 2: was excited, you.
- 10:22Speaker 1: Were so excited, and you had like you had made
- 10:25Speaker 1: it so personalized and.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Yes, yes, and I had made it so mean. Yeah,
- 10:31Speaker 2: And I had not done anything anything because I've been
- 10:34Speaker 2: sick that this is like a big task.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I would have cried, but.
- 10:39Speaker 2: It said, I'll save your card for next time. Oh gosh,
- 10:44Speaker 2: Oh that's thanks for the vacuum cleaner. After I was
- 10:46Speaker 2: on the game show.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Hey, I would have been excited for a vacuum cleaner.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Million dollars, you get a vacuum Yeah.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Here, we'll save the idea that you were here. I
- 11:01Speaker 2: don't know anybody listens into software. What do you think?
- 11:04Speaker 2: Eight hundred and five to one to two seven? Man,
- 11:07Speaker 2: I was craving that food too. You know, when you're
- 11:08Speaker 2: looking at pictures and you're just I do salivating. Yep,
- 11:12Speaker 2: rolling up on seven o'clock this morning. Appreciate you streaming.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Appreciate you coming in in the car on the way
- 11:17Speaker 2: into school and on the way to work. Now, Ruby
- 11:19Speaker 2: is bringing in for a secon. Ruby's in the back room.
- 11:21Speaker 2: She's hustling, she's juggling balls, she's got different phones, see
- 11:25Speaker 2: all kinds of things going on. Got a screen in
- 11:27Speaker 2: front of her, she got a phone in her hand,
- 11:29Speaker 2: but just grab the mic. Uh. You have a question
- 11:31Speaker 2: about your parents, your dad and his philosophy.
- 11:34Speaker 6: Yes, so I just want to know, is there this
- 11:37Speaker 6: unwritten rule that you shouldn't go out for drinks if
- 11:40Speaker 6: you're a married woman, like go out for drinks alone alone?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Why would you go alone?
- 11:45Speaker 7: Well, with friends, but I mean like without your partners.
- 11:50Speaker 1: We need to discuss.
- 11:51Speaker 2: It's called marriage. You need to get out and drink
- 11:53Speaker 2: alone sometimes, isn't it.
- 11:55Speaker 1: No, it's a major red flag by myself months into marriage.
- 12:01Speaker 2: To crystallize this. Your mom wants to go out for
- 12:04Speaker 2: drinks and your dad doesn't think she should.
- 12:06Speaker 8: No.
- 12:06Speaker 6: So my dad actually kind of made me question myself
- 12:10Speaker 6: the other night because my girlfriends text me.
- 12:12Speaker 7: We were all at dinner.
- 12:12Speaker 6: It was my siblings, my dad, and then my husband David,
- 12:16Speaker 6: and my girlfriend's text and they're like, Hey, we're going
- 12:18Speaker 6: to go for drinks if you want to meet us
- 12:20Speaker 6: up in Echo Park. And my dad was like, why
- 12:24Speaker 6: would you go, David, You're just gonna leave David here.
- 12:27Speaker 6: He was like making me feel very guilty about wanting
- 12:30Speaker 6: to go out because I'm a married woman.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Now.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Gosh, I don't know, Dad, you need to show I've
- 12:39Speaker 1: never been in something situation like that.
- 12:41Speaker 2: But maybe your dad just feels like, you know, you
- 12:45Speaker 2: can call the glory Ruby here you are on the air. Ruby,
- 12:48Speaker 2: there's Ruby out the hot sauce at the booth on
- 12:51Speaker 2: the weekends, David just sitting around waiting for some ruby time,
- 12:54Speaker 2: and then you blow them off to the I think
- 12:57Speaker 2: your dad's like standing up for this guy.
- 12:59Speaker 1: I think so a little too much.
- 13:01Speaker 7: So I'm like, who's who? You're my dad, You're supposed
- 13:04Speaker 7: to have my back.
- 13:06Speaker 2: I mean, I'm guessing, and sistently you tell me, but
- 13:09Speaker 2: I'm guessing. It's healthy to escape your partner as often
- 13:12Speaker 2: as possible.
- 13:13Speaker 1: Not as as possible, but yes, sometime apart and especially
- 13:19Speaker 1: just having time with your friends on both sides. Him
- 13:22Speaker 1: going out with his guy friends, me going out with
- 13:24Speaker 1: my girlfriends. You know, I think it's very healthy in
- 13:27Speaker 1: a marriage.
- 13:29Speaker 2: I don't know. I got guys in my life to
- 13:31Speaker 2: have wives, and like they text me, like, bro, can
- 13:35Speaker 2: you have a drink? February nineteenth?
- 13:39Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 13:40Speaker 8: I like that.
- 13:41Speaker 1: Put it in the calendar and I'll show up.
- 13:43Speaker 2: He's like, hall pass. I'm like, you have a hall
- 13:46Speaker 2: pass for two hours February nineteenth. I have no idea
- 13:49Speaker 2: If I can't plan like that for that, I don't know.
- 13:52Speaker 2: It's like, can't February nineteenth? So excited for two hours
- 13:56Speaker 2: of a hall pass?
- 13:57Speaker 1: Yeah? Why can't you just that? Why can't you put
- 13:59Speaker 1: that in your calendar? And then when February nineteenth.
- 14:02Speaker 2: Comes up, I know how hall passes are. Hall passes
- 14:05Speaker 2: are like shots. The guy's going on to dude shots
- 14:08Speaker 2: for forty eight minutes because he's got a hall pass
- 14:11Speaker 2: and I'm gonna have to keep up. And I can't
- 14:13Speaker 2: play that game anymore.
- 14:14Speaker 1: No, I can't do shots.
- 14:16Speaker 2: I can do shots.
- 14:18Speaker 1: Maybe I can't do shots any maybe one, But it
- 14:20Speaker 1: once I get to the multiple shots, you know.
- 14:22Speaker 2: I think shots a better program because it was so bloated.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I don't know, I just I can't like find the rhythm.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And then then it's like, not not the rights this year.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Well, here's the rhythm. Take your wrist, grab the shot.
- 14:36Speaker 2: Here's the rhythm.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Oh you mean you don't even drink it?
- 14:39Speaker 4: No?
- 14:39Speaker 2: No, no, it right into you. You gotta be chilled. But I'm
- 14:42Speaker 2: just saying that sometimes, like the liquid, you know, and
- 14:45Speaker 2: the ice melting on that stuff, it swishes back and
- 14:49Speaker 2: forth in your tummy. So they just have one and
- 14:51Speaker 2: then you're good. But ruby, did you go? You went right?
- 14:58Speaker 1: I didn't go what you gotta send the ground? Didn't?
- 15:01Speaker 6: I just I think he made me My dad kind
- 15:04Speaker 6: of made me question like, wow, am I just being
- 15:07Speaker 6: selfish right now?
- 15:08Speaker 7: Because we all were together as like a family.
- 15:11Speaker 1: But I mean that's different if you guys were all
- 15:13Speaker 1: together as a family.
- 15:14Speaker 2: But all right, coming up next here, we got a
- 15:20Speaker 2: couple of things. You are three things that you're supposed
- 15:22Speaker 2: to not say to single friends of yours. Hang on,
- 15:24Speaker 2: I want a two point seven kiss FM. I'm prettucer Mikhaela.
- 15:28Speaker 2: There she's single and she's fine with that. How many
- 15:32Speaker 2: times have you heard these things from your friends? These
- 15:35Speaker 2: are three things that people really who are single are
- 15:37Speaker 2: annoyed hearing from you. They don't want to hear this.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Do you say it? We're annoyed? One? And then about dating? Like,
- 15:47Speaker 2: first all, I don't even want you to give me
- 15:50Speaker 2: dating advice if you're in a relationship.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Wow, okay, what did you want? What did you want
- 15:57Speaker 1: advice from someone who's a relationship.
- 16:02Speaker 2: You would think that, but no, so Mickayla, people say
- 16:11Speaker 2: these are the top three things that annoy them when
- 16:13Speaker 2: they're friends who are in a great relationship. Say one,
- 16:17Speaker 2: you know, Mikayla, whoever, you're not trying hard?
- 16:21Speaker 1: No I hear that you do.
- 16:24Speaker 2: What do you mean by that? Though?
- 16:25Speaker 9: And it's not really even from friends, it's from like
- 16:28Speaker 9: family members, like over the holiday, Like that's all I
- 16:30Speaker 9: heard were things like this, Oh, so annoying.
- 16:35Speaker 2: That's mean in bringing up with family where you're trapped
- 16:39Speaker 2: over the holidays, that's bad. How about when people say
- 16:43Speaker 2: that's all right beginning of the year, get back out there.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Yeah I will. I'm trying back out there now.
- 16:52Speaker 2: My mother says this to me, Mmmm, Mark, you got
- 16:57Speaker 2: a little moment over, tell me about it. Huh? Way
- 17:01Speaker 2: you morning about what lands for you? Huh? This one?
- 17:04Speaker 2: M Yeah, this one. You're too picky r J, she calls.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Oh, she's not wrong.
- 17:12Speaker 5: That's the one I hate the most. I hate. It's
- 17:16Speaker 5: so bad. I'm like, I'm not being picky. I'm not
- 17:20Speaker 5: believe me.
- 17:21Speaker 1: I hate that I am being Yeah, I believe, But
- 17:24Speaker 1: Kayla's not being picky. I was gonna go back to Ryan.
- 17:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:27Speaker 5: I also have her right to not settle.
- 17:30Speaker 9: So it's like, Okay, if there's things that you don't
- 17:33Speaker 9: agree with with this person, it's like you're not gonna
- 17:35Speaker 9: just settle, You're gonna be like Okay.
- 17:36Speaker 5: That bothers me, Like and it's.
- 17:38Speaker 2: Yeah, what do you want us to be with somebody
- 17:40Speaker 2: that we don't be so picky over? Is not good?
- 17:43Speaker 2: Exactly exactly you won't call my mom and just.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I would love to child your mom about your
- 17:51Speaker 1: picky quote.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Time is the only currency time. Time is the only
- 17:57Speaker 2: currency we spend without knowing our balance. Be careful what
- 18:01Speaker 2: you spend it on.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Oooh, I love that?
- 18:04Speaker 2: All right, friends, Almost seven o'clock. Let's get into the headline, Sissy,
- 18:07Speaker 2: what do you have for us? Just FM headlines with
- 18:10Speaker 2: sisiny Well.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Today marks one year since the start of the Eton
- 18:16Speaker 1: and Palas State fires that devastated southern California, and events
- 18:19Speaker 1: are scheduled, of course, all day to mark the occasion,
- 18:22Speaker 1: including a concert for Altadena tonight featuring Mandy Moore, Brandon Flowers,
- 18:27Speaker 1: Brad Paisley, and Moore. Governor Newsom has extended price scouging
- 18:31Speaker 1: protections for La County wildfire victims and expanded support for
- 18:36Speaker 1: businesses in the Tapanga State Park area. The Department of
- 18:39Speaker 1: Health and Human Services is freezing ten billion dollars in
- 18:43Speaker 1: federal funds to five states, including California, Colorado, Illinois, Minnesota,
- 18:48Speaker 1: and New York over allegations of fraud, and Olivia Rodrigo
- 18:52Speaker 1: is teasing something new by turning her website into a
- 18:55Speaker 1: fake driver's license renewal page with an appointment set for
- 18:59Speaker 1: tomorrow at nine am.
- 19:02Speaker 2: So you can't say Happy New Year anymore. You don't
- 19:04Speaker 2: need to do it. We're into Wednesday. It's we're moving on.
- 19:08Speaker 2: The week is getting here, I will say that. And
- 19:11Speaker 2: the holidays mask a lot of stuff. You're busy Thanksgiving
- 19:16Speaker 2: into the holidays of December. You know, you can get
- 19:20Speaker 2: a little feeling, even when you're with people, a little
- 19:24Speaker 2: feeling of loneliness in January and February. It has that
- 19:28Speaker 2: potential vibe to it, doesn't it even with.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Your with somebody. Why would you be lonely if you're
- 19:35Speaker 1: in a relationship.
- 19:35Speaker 2: I just feel like January can be like a just
- 19:40Speaker 2: a lonely month for things. There's nothing. What do you
- 19:44Speaker 2: what do you read like? I mean, even February, what
- 19:46Speaker 2: are you reaving up for valances?
- 19:47Speaker 1: I mean it's different for me. I have my anniversary
- 19:49Speaker 1: in January, so I look forward to that.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Well, maybe that was good strategy, yeah, right, But for
- 19:55Speaker 2: the rest of us, January is lonely Mikayla, January is lonely.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Let's just be honest.
- 20:01Speaker 5: It is lonely.
- 20:03Speaker 2: February.
- 20:04Speaker 1: What don't you think December is lonelier because you feel
- 20:07Speaker 1: like you're not with somebody, like the holidays.
- 20:10Speaker 2: This is my niece. I was busy.
- 20:13Speaker 1: That was okay, okay, okay.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Yeah, but January lonely, February lonely. March, Oh, don't even
- 20:19Speaker 2: start me on the March.
- 20:21Speaker 1: What's wrong with March? Nothing yet, but March is my
- 20:24Speaker 1: favorite month.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Well, good one, Look at you? Look at you? Not lonely, Jordan.
- 20:32Speaker 2: I don't know why I brought up this, because you
- 20:33Speaker 2: are a new fun screener. Is there a reason are
- 20:35Speaker 2: you lonely? Did I just go off on that?
- 20:39Speaker 7: You know, I would say a little bit.
- 20:42Speaker 1: I feel the loneliness. I love for being real this morning, guys.
- 20:45Speaker 2: Thank you very much. I appreciate the honesty. So Jordan,
- 20:48Speaker 2: right out of Burbank, Kai just join the team here.
- 20:51Speaker 2: So the commute is short for you, right.
- 20:53Speaker 1: Yeah, very short. I'm very grateful for that. Great, really
- 20:57Speaker 1: like it over in La nice.
- 21:00Speaker 2: All right now I want to hone in on this
- 21:02Speaker 2: because it's interesting. So you got a message from your
- 21:06Speaker 2: ex an invitation for your exit of the holidays? What happened?
- 21:09Speaker 10: Yeah, and it was my first X and so this
- 21:12Speaker 10: was my a high school sweetheart. Considering how we ended things,
- 21:17Speaker 10: I'm surprised that he hit me back, honestly, but yeah, that's.
- 21:22Speaker 2: How to end thing.
- 21:23Speaker 1: Yeah, now you got to tell us how it ended.
- 21:25Speaker 8: Well.
- 21:25Speaker 10: He was a little bit of a pulayer and I
- 21:27Speaker 10: gave him many many chances before he made his final mistake.
- 21:32Speaker 10: I decided to end things on Christmas of twenty twenty two.
- 21:36Speaker 2: Twenty twenty two. This guy's come back in twenty five.
- 21:39Speaker 1: Yeah, wow, I know, I guess over the holidays twenty five?
- 21:43Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so what tell me? What did he What
- 21:46Speaker 2: was the invitation all about?
- 21:47Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 21:48Speaker 10: So Tam and Paula they he was on tour in
- 21:52Speaker 10: November of twenty twenty five, and that was a It
- 21:56Speaker 10: was a music group that we kind of bonded over
- 22:00Speaker 10: in our relationship. And with that being said, he had
- 22:05Speaker 10: messaged me asking if I wanted to go with him
- 22:08Speaker 10: because he had got tickets.
- 22:11Speaker 2: And that's the invitation. How many How long have been
- 22:13Speaker 2: since he reached out to you?
- 22:15Speaker 10: That was the first time that he reached out to
- 22:17Speaker 10: me since our breakup in twenty twenty.
- 22:20Speaker 1: That's wild. What at least.
- 22:27Speaker 2: I mean, these songs can't bring people together.
- 22:31Speaker 10: I had the thing about it. I was like, I
- 22:33Speaker 10: really want to see damn Paula. Do I want to
- 22:36Speaker 10: talk to him?
- 22:37Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:38Speaker 10: I decided I will go with you. But then when
- 22:42Speaker 10: the week came, he said something came up, and so
- 22:46Speaker 10: we didn't end up going. So I don't even know
- 22:48Speaker 10: if this was a plot on me.
- 22:50Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 22:51Speaker 10: He was like trying to see if I was willing
- 22:52Speaker 10: to give him another chance.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I have no idea, but oh my god, you got
- 22:56Speaker 1: to be done with this guy.
- 22:58Speaker 2: So I was pressed, that's for sure. First of all,
- 23:01Speaker 2: if you you said thing, I'm so sorry that that
- 23:04Speaker 2: doesn't feel nice at all. It really just doesn't feel nice.
- 23:08Speaker 2: So I'm sorry about that. And you want to go
- 23:10Speaker 2: see Tame and Paula. You want to go see Tame
- 23:12Speaker 2: and Paula. You come right here us and you tell
- 23:18Speaker 2: us your heart broken because this guy stirred you up
- 23:21Speaker 2: over Tame and Paula. And we will Tame and Paula.
- 23:24Speaker 4: You.
- 23:25Speaker 2: We will figure out a way to get you out there. Yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 2: the kiss with the kiss gear on, you can work
- 23:31Speaker 2: the Tame and Paula show.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Now, I think the content already happened.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Ryan, You guys, they're out, they're running game. She can fly.
- 23:43Speaker 2: So Jordan, here's the lesson. When you realize you're with
- 23:48Speaker 2: the player, you're with the player. They're never going to change.
- 23:53Speaker 2: They're really never gonna change. And this was like you said,
- 23:55Speaker 2: how many times did he how many times he come
- 23:57Speaker 2: back to you before?
- 23:59Speaker 1: Dan, Like, it have been at least three or almost
- 24:03Speaker 1: four times, right.
- 24:05Speaker 2: I mean so you kind of know what you're getting
- 24:07Speaker 2: into every time you get back into it, so you
- 24:09Speaker 2: have to sort of not be too surprised that this
- 24:11Speaker 2: happened again. Yeah, Now, players, why do y'all like players?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Distney Sophia, Mikayla Ruby, Oh y'all, why do y'all like players?
- 24:22Speaker 8: Oh?
- 24:22Speaker 1: I loved players so much.
- 24:25Speaker 2: We all like these guys.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I don't know. It's like the Arias and me. It's
- 24:30Speaker 1: like the challenge, and I was like, I can change you.
- 24:32Speaker 1: I'll be the one that changes you on areas, you'll.
- 24:36Speaker 7: Love a fixer. Upwards, We're almost they were a good.
- 24:42Speaker 1: Time until they weren't.
- 24:45Speaker 2: I'm going to bring this in we'd love to check
- 24:46Speaker 2: back in with you after we've had a chance to
- 24:48Speaker 2: spend some time on the air talking for any topic
- 24:50Speaker 2: or anything we give away. Back in twenty fourteen, twenty fourteen,
- 24:54Speaker 2: we did something called the Summer bucket List. I do
- 24:57Speaker 2: feel like it was yesterday, but it wasn't. And it
- 24:59Speaker 2: was people telling us what they wanted to do for
- 25:01Speaker 2: that summer and we would take care of it right.
- 25:02Speaker 2: So if you need anything, what do you need? We
- 25:05Speaker 2: got you. One of the people that reached out to
- 25:08Speaker 2: us that listen was Leslie and she wanted some cash
- 25:11Speaker 2: for her daughter, Aubrianna's Kencinera. So let me play back.
- 25:15Speaker 2: We have that playback to clipping that real quick, just
- 25:17Speaker 2: to context this for us.
- 25:18Speaker 11: I wanted to see if I can formally invite again,
- 25:21Speaker 11: you know, Ryan, Ellen, Patty and Nelson to be her Padrinos.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Wait, what will we be? What will we be Patrino's?
- 25:29Speaker 2: What what does that mean?
- 25:32Speaker 4: Oh?
- 25:32Speaker 2: The godparents? I didn't know if I'd dress up in
- 25:34Speaker 2: an outfit or something. I became her Patrino? Someone technically
- 25:40Speaker 2: is what isn't he?
- 25:41Speaker 1: It's like the Nino the godparent. You can in the
- 25:45Speaker 1: Kenna culture you can like spiritulessly guide her or financially
- 25:49Speaker 1: pay for some things.
- 25:51Speaker 2: That's what they want to take care of the cake
- 25:52Speaker 2: and some samba dancers and made the ceremony find anyway.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Leslie and Abrianna, I mean Abrianna, so she was, she's
- 26:00Speaker 2: like a full on grown up now right, twelve years ago?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Twelve years ago, Leslie and Abrianna, good morning.
- 26:09Speaker 11: Good morning, good morning.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I don't know who's mom and who's not anymore. So, well,
- 26:18Speaker 2: where do we even pick up after twelve years? It
- 26:22Speaker 2: doesn't seem that long ago to me, But Abrianna, give
- 26:25Speaker 2: us a snapshot of your life. Now.
- 26:28Speaker 11: Well, let's see.
- 26:29Speaker 12: I have been in school almost NonStop and working. I
- 26:34Speaker 12: have graduated high school. I went and I got four degrees.
- 26:39Speaker 12: I was a certified nurse Assistant license, vocational nurse, and
- 26:44Speaker 12: just recently earned my registered nurse license.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Wow, oh my gosh, that is amazing.
- 26:50Speaker 1: That is incredible.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Are you just a great student?
- 26:55Speaker 11: You know?
- 26:55Speaker 12: I grew up knowing that I got a work hard
- 26:58Speaker 12: and that's what I've been doing.
- 27:00Speaker 2: And Mommy must be so proud.
- 27:03Speaker 11: Absolutely, I mean, you have a special place in her story.
- 27:09Speaker 11: It's been you know, very heartwarming to know that she
- 27:14Speaker 11: is your very first insignetta god daughter to you know,
- 27:18Speaker 11: Nino Ryan is now officially the godfather to a register nurse.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I am at Padrino to a registered nursey. Haha, that's amazing.
- 27:29Speaker 2: So wait, how many degrees did you get?
- 27:33Speaker 12: I have four, I'm working on a fifth one and
- 27:36Speaker 12: then my goal is six because I'm trying to get
- 27:38Speaker 12: my master's in nursing.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Soon you will have more than the Lachaise and they are.
- 27:48Speaker 2: That is incredible. I'm so happy that you called back
- 27:54Speaker 2: to share this with us. And it's just amazing how
- 27:57Speaker 2: time flies and the kings ear was great and you
- 28:01Speaker 2: still have fond memories and look back at the pictures.
- 28:04Speaker 12: Oh absolutely, that's something that I'll never forget and something
- 28:08Speaker 12: that I hold very dear, you know, and near into
- 28:11Speaker 12: my heart. And I just thought that I would share
- 28:13Speaker 12: this next milestone with me because with you, because it's
- 28:16Speaker 12: just been awesome to think back like wow, you know,
- 28:21Speaker 12: without his help, without your support, you know, I wouldn't
- 28:28Speaker 12: have had good memories. And and as I started doing
- 28:30Speaker 12: this chapter in my life and my career, I wanted
- 28:32Speaker 12: to share it with you too.
- 28:34Speaker 2: Wow, beautiful, Well you you are remarkable. I'm so happy
- 28:38Speaker 2: they're gonna be in charge of the world. It's it's
- 28:40Speaker 2: very refreshing charge of us. And didn't we pick a
- 28:45Speaker 2: good one to help out? Good on us too, Leslie, Abrianna,
- 28:51Speaker 2: have a wonderful, lovely year. And Arianna, as you get
- 28:55Speaker 2: your degrees, check in with your Patrino here and keep
- 28:58Speaker 2: me posted.
- 28:58Speaker 12: Okay, oh absolutely, And if you know anyone that's hiring,
- 29:02Speaker 12: let me know it's in my way.
- 29:03Speaker 2: Okay, we're on it. Put you on hold. We'll get
- 29:06Speaker 2: all your information so we can see what we can do. Okay,
- 29:10Speaker 2: all right, thank you, all right, that is just great.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I feel I felt happiness about that, or real happiness.
- 29:18Speaker 2: And thank y'all for reaching back. Out Neil, miss Independent, Seacrest, Systany,
- 29:23Speaker 2: Tanya is out. Sophia is sitting in her chair this morning.
- 29:26Speaker 2: Thank you for doing that, all right. So every once
- 29:30Speaker 2: in a while these strike me. I'm pretty clear on it.
- 29:33Speaker 2: It's saying that a lot of people are divided about
- 29:36Speaker 2: on the internet. Sophia saysn't he tell me where you stand?
- 29:39Speaker 2: So this is a pretty even split. But Monica's her name.
- 29:43Speaker 2: She posts this on TikTok the video from her bachelorette party. Okay,
- 29:47Speaker 2: and in the video, she was reacting to a video
- 29:54Speaker 2: that her bride'smaid showed her on her bachelorette of all
- 29:59Speaker 2: of her ex boyfriends wishing her well. Right, little montage
- 30:03Speaker 2: of the exs saying good luck with the next chapter.
- 30:06Speaker 2: So you at the bachelorup party, you watch a video
- 30:08Speaker 2: you have to boyfriends wishing you well. How how does
- 30:11Speaker 2: that go over? What do you think is a name?
- 30:13Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I'm kind of torn on this because
- 30:15Speaker 1: I feel like the the desire was for it to
- 30:20Speaker 1: be funny and like, this is gonna be cute. And
- 30:22Speaker 1: I think if this happened to me, I would find
- 30:24Speaker 1: it really funny because I didn't really have like a
- 30:26Speaker 1: terrible breakup with every X, And so if they were
- 30:28Speaker 1: actually saying something nice like who cares, like if it's
- 30:31Speaker 1: in the past, like move on.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Yes.
- 30:34Speaker 1: So I don't think it's that big of a deal,
- 30:36Speaker 1: but I could see how like if you had a
- 30:39Speaker 1: bad breakup, or it just brings up these old feelings,
- 30:42Speaker 1: or if she's she's not really sure she's gonna marry
- 30:44Speaker 1: this dude, Like I don't know, I could like mess
- 30:46Speaker 1: with your brain.
- 30:47Speaker 2: Sophia, would this by your I mean, how many poor
- 30:50Speaker 2: friends have you had?
- 30:51Speaker 1: I've had two?
- 30:52Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, how would you It's a lot to think
- 30:55Speaker 2: about here in college. But would you want that? Honestly,
- 30:58Speaker 2: it's disrespectful to the thea.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I think it's really disrespectful.
- 31:02Speaker 3: If I was on, like on the fiance side, I
- 31:04Speaker 3: would get super jealous.
- 31:06Speaker 1: I don't know if I just get but would the
- 31:09Speaker 1: fiance prefer a bunch of strippers coming into the hotel?
- 31:13Speaker 1: I don't have history working on your soon to be wife?
- 31:18Speaker 1: What's better?
- 31:21Speaker 2: I didn't think about all that part. Yeah, I mean
- 31:24Speaker 2: to me. You know, I don't know my fiance.
- 31:28Speaker 1: I'm sure she's lovely.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I'm sure she's great. I can't, uh, well, I to
- 31:36Speaker 2: any of my ex girlfriends. I would love to put
- 31:39Speaker 2: this montage together. We could go and build it now,
- 31:46Speaker 2: ready to go, yeah, like the ottle bit, ready to
- 31:48Speaker 2: go in case an?
- 31:50Speaker 1: Oh my god, why not? That's so funny.
- 31:54Speaker 2: I'd be great, get all the get together all shoot it. Well,
- 31:57Speaker 2: I'm single, that's fine, don't even care.
- 32:00Speaker 1: Need to be No, we need a surprise. Here's some
- 32:02Speaker 1: Italian I do we truck everybody.
- 32:08Speaker 2: We'll just you know, maybe maybe we tell them I'm engaged,
- 32:11Speaker 2: but I'm not just to get the right you know,
- 32:12Speaker 2: spirit right. Maybe it's a bad idea anyway, Internet's divided
- 32:17Speaker 2: over it. These things are, aren't they funded? Walk down
- 32:21Speaker 2: and rehash, Yeah, especially assisting when you put it in
- 32:24Speaker 2: that A or B T.
- 32:25Speaker 1: I sing, I think the ex boyfriend video is not.
- 32:27Speaker 2: That bad compared to what you said. Probably true, most
- 32:30Speaker 2: people might agree.
- 32:32Speaker 8: On air with Ryan Seacrest, good morning, We got a
- 32:39Speaker 8: lot to do.
- 32:40Speaker 2: Connie Seacrest, Is she coming on the show? I ya heard.
- 32:44Speaker 1: I texted her and I wanted her to come on
- 32:46Speaker 1: because I want to chat with her about how picky
- 32:48Speaker 1: you are with women.
- 32:49Speaker 2: A lot of a lot of I want.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Yeah, I want you know, this is the year of
- 32:53Speaker 1: like just do it and go for it, you know,
- 32:55Speaker 1: let's just get it done.
- 32:57Speaker 2: Well, can I ask a question like I'm literally right
- 32:59Speaker 2: here right now. That's me to reach out to her
- 33:02Speaker 2: to come on because I knew you was I I
- 33:07Speaker 2: love having my mom on.
- 33:08Speaker 1: I know you love having a mom, but I was
- 33:09Speaker 1: it was more we had the topic as to why
- 33:11Speaker 1: she's coming on.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Can you be clear on the topic. I think I'm unclear.
- 33:15Speaker 1: You admitted to being picky when it comes to women,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and you said your mom also points that out to you.
- 33:23Speaker 1: So I wanted to, you know, hone in on that
- 33:25Speaker 1: and ask her more totail.
- 33:27Speaker 2: If you're not going to be here in a few minutes,
- 33:29Speaker 2: the show is about to get on fun.
- 33:30Speaker 1: So are you kidding me? It'll be the opposite of unfun.
- 33:34Speaker 2: You know, if you have a meeting, you're welcome. If
- 33:38Speaker 2: you have a meeting and you've got to leave, you
- 33:39Speaker 2: are welcome to not hear this conversation. First of all,
- 33:43Speaker 2: explain this to me. Sistey was telling me that she
- 33:46Speaker 2: read that we've gotten now speed cameras out all over LA.
- 33:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 33:51Speaker 2: I thought these cameras were already out all over. I
- 33:53Speaker 2: see cameras at intersections already. What's the difference those camera
- 33:57Speaker 2: the camera I.
- 33:57Speaker 1: See the cameras you've been seeing for years and years,
- 33:59Speaker 1: or probe light cameras and then we've had We were
- 34:02Speaker 1: very comfortable and know that those are where they're at.
- 34:05Speaker 2: Right. But if I'm going through a red light, I'm
- 34:08Speaker 2: musically going at a higher speed. Correct Or aren't they
- 34:11Speaker 2: calling out the same thing.
- 34:13Speaker 1: They're not getting cameras there the cameras that were already here,
- 34:16Speaker 1: those were not getting speed. Those are just getting if you,
- 34:19Speaker 1: you know, pass the red light. But now these cameras,
- 34:22Speaker 1: and we've talked about these a couple of years ago
- 34:23Speaker 1: because that's when it got approved to get these cameras.
- 34:26Speaker 1: But now they're actually going up in twenty twenty six,
- 34:29Speaker 1: and they're gonna be all over La Long Beach, Glendale,
- 34:32Speaker 1: and they're gonna get you for speeding even if you
- 34:34Speaker 1: go eleven miles over the speed limit.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Now here's the thing. I already thought they did this.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I mean I saw cameras and intersections of they're already
- 34:44Speaker 2: clocking and tracking me.
- 34:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:45Speaker 2: Do you ever when you go through and you see
- 34:47Speaker 2: a camera, or you go through a yellow and it
- 34:49Speaker 2: goes into red while you're going through, does anybody else
- 34:52Speaker 2: hold their breath? I actually physically stop my breath.
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 34:57Speaker 2: Absolutely, Do you hold your breath? I do?
- 34:59Speaker 1: And then I wonder, I mean, I haven't knocked on wood,
- 35:01Speaker 1: I haven't gotten a ticket for running a red or
- 35:03Speaker 1: anything like that.
- 35:04Speaker 2: When you say things like that, that's when it will happen.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Oh well, you booked my mom to talk about me
- 35:09Speaker 2: being pickies. So this is the universe.
- 35:11Speaker 1: Try to wish upon me getting a ticket?
- 35:14Speaker 2: Well, I don't wish that you put it out there.
- 35:15Speaker 2: I didn't even know we were gonna talk about this today.
- 35:17Speaker 2: I already thought these were existing. Why do we hold
- 35:20Speaker 2: our breath? Like holding our breath? What do we think
- 35:22Speaker 2: that is going to do? And then the other question
- 35:24Speaker 2: I have is an lapd if you we salute you
- 35:28Speaker 2: and if you want to call in on this. But like,
- 35:30Speaker 2: sometimes y'all are next to us or in front of
- 35:33Speaker 2: us or behind us. Oh, I don't know what to do. Yeah,
- 35:37Speaker 2: I feel like I'm slowing y'all down sometimes by going
- 35:41Speaker 2: exactly the speed limit and am I or yes? I
- 35:45Speaker 2: know you probably can't say, but I don't know what
- 35:47Speaker 2: to do. Do I speed up if you're close to me?
- 35:50Speaker 2: Or do I do off follow the rules?
- 35:53Speaker 1: But I know what you mean. I get a little
- 35:55Speaker 1: tense when I see the cops around me if they're
- 35:57Speaker 1: behind me, or yeah, I group the wheel and I'm like, okay,
- 36:00Speaker 1: mess up. Make sure you don't grab your phone like
- 36:01Speaker 1: all the things.
- 36:02Speaker 2: Do I look over? I look over?
- 36:05Speaker 1: I usually look over and do it smiley see you Like,
- 36:08Speaker 1: oh no, it's Ryan.
- 36:09Speaker 2: You know I have stopped before and walked up to
- 36:14Speaker 2: some LA PD officers at it was Earth Cafe. I
- 36:17Speaker 2: walked up, thank you so well, first I have to
- 36:21Speaker 2: explain I'm just saying thank you, and then I explain
- 36:25Speaker 2: you know what I do here and everything, and yeah,
- 36:27Speaker 2: then it's it's it's fun. But you know, sometimes when
- 36:30Speaker 2: you approach a police officer, they think you're in need. Okay, well,
- 36:34Speaker 2: how do you need to go up with me? We
- 36:36Speaker 2: need to go up with the right face. You know,
- 36:38Speaker 2: you got to go up with the not worried look
- 36:40Speaker 2: on you.
- 36:40Speaker 1: You know, I need to approach them more. I kind
- 36:42Speaker 1: of just like mind my business, whereas like my kids
- 36:45Speaker 1: are the complete opposite. They're like, Hi, can I see
- 36:47Speaker 1: your belt?
- 36:48Speaker 2: What's on?
- 36:48Speaker 1: Then they all.
- 36:51Speaker 2: Yeah, but they want to feel it and they feel it.
- 36:55Speaker 2: If it's the same thing with friends or family members,
- 36:58Speaker 2: like when you think about them and you think something good,
- 36:59Speaker 2: why not tell them? Anyway, all these speed cameras going up,
- 37:05Speaker 2: look out, they're gonna be a little grace period.
- 37:07Speaker 1: I think, yeah, because they just went up in some
- 37:10Speaker 1: of these cities. I know they're doing like nine in Glendale,
- 37:12Speaker 1: maybe eighteen in Long beach, and they don't even know
- 37:14Speaker 1: how many in LA, and so it'll be like maybe
- 37:17Speaker 1: a couple months of warnings and then the tickets are
- 37:20Speaker 1: really gonna start rolling through midyear.
- 37:22Speaker 2: Oh yay, coming back with my mom. Hang on, sugar,
- 37:25Speaker 2: I'm my tongue mom by Tyler the Creator. Mom.
- 37:28Speaker 4: Are you there, I'm here, I'm here.
- 37:30Speaker 2: A happy new Year, Happy New Year. I'm not saying
- 37:34Speaker 2: that anymore.
- 37:34Speaker 1: It's okay. I think you can say it if you
- 37:37Speaker 1: haven't said it to that person.
- 37:39Speaker 4: I haven't said it to you girls.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Yes, Happy New Year, Connie.
- 37:43Speaker 2: This is all siciny. I don't know what she wanted
- 37:45Speaker 2: to talk to you about, but here she is.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Well, here's what happened. Ryan admitted that he's picky when
- 37:50Speaker 1: it comes to picking girls and dating and things like that,
- 37:53Speaker 1: and he mentioned that you also have pointed out to
- 37:56Speaker 1: him in the past, maybe you're too picky? Is that true?
- 38:02Speaker 4: I like to call it particular.
- 38:13Speaker 2: See what I think the problem is is not particular.
- 38:18Speaker 2: It's not picky. She would also describe me, and I
- 38:21Speaker 2: would self describe myself as a handful.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Oh yeah, I could. I could vote for that.
- 38:30Speaker 1: Has he always been a handful, even as he's all
- 38:33Speaker 1: wild in a handfuol.
- 38:35Speaker 4: Oh. Absolutely. I mean you don't just get like that.
- 38:39Speaker 4: You know, at some point in your life you're like that.
- 38:43Speaker 1: You like that.
- 38:45Speaker 4: But it's it's fun. It's fun. I mean, you never
- 38:49Speaker 4: know what to expect. And again, you know I he is.
- 38:55Speaker 4: I wasn't thinking about girls. I was thinking about his coffee.
- 38:58Speaker 4: He's very particular about his coffee.
- 39:02Speaker 2: This is true, and I preach this. And I don't
- 39:04Speaker 2: trust people who don't blink and who do not drink coffee.
- 39:08Speaker 2: I don't. I couldn't be with someone forever that like
- 39:13Speaker 2: how to do they can't do both those things? Right?
- 39:16Speaker 1: What are what are the qualities that you think matter
- 39:18Speaker 1: most to Ryan when it comes to dating Connie.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Oh, that's a very good question. In fact, I was
- 39:25Speaker 4: when he said that about coffee. I was just about
- 39:27Speaker 4: to ask him, Okay, tell me your top five things
- 39:32Speaker 4: you were looking for, you know, in a companion. Well,
- 39:36Speaker 4: I didn't get that question to ask because sis Sisny beat.
- 39:40Speaker 2: Me to it. Well, I don't even know that answer,
- 39:44Speaker 2: but that's a great question for me to homework over
- 39:46Speaker 2: the weekend. Boy, it's it's fluid now, it's evolving the
- 39:53Speaker 2: answer to that. But the good news is I don't
- 39:58Speaker 2: know what the good news is, but they're there's definitely
- 40:00Speaker 2: good news. There's gonna be some good I think we're
- 40:02Speaker 2: focused on that this year. This is the year focusing
- 40:04Speaker 2: on it. Mom. This is going to be the year
- 40:06Speaker 2: focusing on it. Yeah, did you hear that?
- 40:08Speaker 4: Did you hear that? Sicanly?
- 40:10Speaker 1: I did hear that? Connie, do you think he should
- 40:12Speaker 1: go on a date this weekend even though he has
- 40:14Speaker 1: this cough? Well?
- 40:18Speaker 4: Oh, that's a good question, because I mean, I just
- 40:21Speaker 4: I'm just getting over a cold and it's not fun.
- 40:25Speaker 4: So you know, I would want to make sure he's
- 40:28Speaker 4: really well before he goes from the date.
- 40:33Speaker 2: It's going to take months for me to be well.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I'm un Mom, you know that. But you're talking about,
- 40:38Speaker 2: oh the flu, Now I am with I'm with you.
- 40:41Speaker 2: This flu is worse than people if you haven't had it,
- 40:43Speaker 2: and not a lot of people want to give you
- 40:45Speaker 2: sympathy for it. But it's not great. I might I
- 40:47Speaker 2: might wait another weekends. Just need thank you very much, Mom. Patience.
- 40:50Speaker 2: I think somebody's gonna need patience to handle the handful.
- 40:53Speaker 2: But it's it's more my issue and list of them
- 40:56Speaker 2: than being picky. We got to run. I love you, oh.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Okay, love you too. Love you guys. You call me anytime.
- 41:04Speaker 4: I can definitely uh give you some you know, particular
- 41:09Speaker 4: things about the boy.
- 41:13Speaker 2: I'll no no, no match game, next ticket, match game,
- 41:20Speaker 2: time on kiss. Still reeling in the comic relief that
- 41:24Speaker 2: is my mother an time for anything on the boy
- 41:30Speaker 2: right now. Don't call her any time for anything about
- 41:33Speaker 2: the boy. I'm the boy and I don't want you
- 41:35Speaker 2: to bother her. I'm Maurice and Semi Valley.
- 41:39Speaker 4: Good morning, good morning.
- 41:41Speaker 2: We are happy to have you on. Hanging one second,
- 41:43Speaker 2: list me Amy and Pasadena. Contested number two, any good morning,
- 41:46Speaker 2: good morning, well you too. We're gonna play the match
- 41:51Speaker 2: game for some Ariana Grande tickets. So good lack Marisa,
- 42:02Speaker 2: all their friends already all right, So contest number one.
- 42:05Speaker 2: That'll be you, Marissa. What we'll do is I'll give
- 42:07Speaker 2: you a phrase with the blank in it, and you
- 42:09Speaker 2: think of what goes in that blank, and then we'll
- 42:11Speaker 2: see if you match with the panel. Amy. You just
- 42:13Speaker 2: hang on for a second, Marissa, yours is nose blank.
- 42:17Speaker 2: Don't say out loud what you think goes into blank.
- 42:19Speaker 2: But what's the most common thing to go with? Nose?
- 42:22Speaker 2: Nose blank, nose blank? What could it be? What'd you say?
- 42:29Speaker 2: Marissa knows what? I got two of them, but I'm
- 42:32Speaker 2: gonna go for nose job job. All right, let's go
- 42:36Speaker 2: to the panel. Siciny I said, bleed our intern.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Sophia I said nose job.
- 42:46Speaker 9: Ruby I said bleed too, And Mikayla I did say
- 42:50Speaker 9: nose job.
- 42:53Speaker 1: Got two matches.
- 42:56Speaker 2: See if anybody's got that on there to do list
- 42:58Speaker 2: this year? All right, now, Amy, yours is school blank.
- 43:05Speaker 2: Don't say it out loud, just think about it. School blank,
- 43:09Speaker 2: school blank, school blank. Gotta get two to tie. It's
- 43:14Speaker 2: gonna be a tough one. Hey, what'd you say? School?
- 43:17Speaker 2: What work? Schoolwork? All right?
- 43:21Speaker 1: Sis? I said yard.
- 43:24Speaker 2: Okay, Intern Sophia, schoolwork. She's in the middle of it.
- 43:32Speaker 2: She does it while she works here, all right, Ruby, schoolwork,
- 43:36Speaker 2: school board. It comes down to the youth of America.
- 43:43Speaker 9: Michaela I said, school bus.
- 43:49Speaker 2: All right, Well, Marissa, you are going to see our
- 43:51Speaker 2: ina grande. Amy, we love you, and thanks for listening.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Fee You're We're gonna stop saying it. I have to
- 44:03Speaker 2: see them. On air with Ryan Seacret, I don't know
- 44:10Speaker 2: that in twenty six we care about the rules when
- 44:13Speaker 2: it comes to what we hear as rumors about artists
- 44:15Speaker 2: coming back with music and tours. I mean, I think
- 44:18Speaker 2: at this point, if we say we're hearing about it,
- 44:20Speaker 2: it's fine. It's Systney. You have your ear on the
- 44:23Speaker 2: hear because you're working in the music department at KISSFM,
- 44:27Speaker 2: Los Angeles, KIFM, Los Angeles. Now, there have been some
- 44:32Speaker 2: swirls the last couple of weeks about frumblings about BTS.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Everybody knows they have finished their duty their military service.
- 44:38Speaker 2: They were obligated to do that. And then the questions became,
- 44:42Speaker 2: when are they getting back together? When can I see
- 44:44Speaker 2: them in concert? What's the deal with the album? How
- 44:46Speaker 2: are they working together after being a part. We're gonna
- 44:48Speaker 2: give you what we know because we're excited about it.
- 44:51Speaker 2: It's all coming to fruition all. It's all coming into
- 44:53Speaker 2: the picture, right exactly.
- 44:54Speaker 1: I mean, apparently they have been working on this album,
- 44:56Speaker 1: because it will be already on March twentieth.
- 45:00Speaker 2: Were they working on this album while they were in
- 45:03Speaker 2: the service? Maybe?
- 45:05Speaker 1: I mean, don't you think you have a Yeah, don't
- 45:07Speaker 1: you think you have time? To write down ideas at
- 45:09Speaker 1: least or lyrics and things like that, and then you
- 45:10Speaker 1: come together.
- 45:12Speaker 2: I cannot pretend to know what it might be like.
- 45:14Speaker 2: It seems like I'd be physically exhausted mentally as well.
- 45:17Speaker 2: But they're working together the album. What do we know
- 45:19Speaker 2: about the album? And Danny, if you want to see
- 45:20Speaker 2: them on tour, we can tell you about that too.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Yeah, this is going to be their first proper group
- 45:24Speaker 1: record in four years before the military service. The think
- 45:28Speaker 1: about this, BTS has been head together for nearly a
- 45:30Speaker 1: decade and they debuted back in whi like twenty thirteen,
- 45:33Speaker 1: So this comeback is something that fans are just going
- 45:38Speaker 1: crazy over. And apparently what we do know about this
- 45:41Speaker 1: album specifically is that it's supposed to reflect everyone's ideas
- 45:45Speaker 1: and feel like a return to their roots, whatever that means.
- 45:48Speaker 2: Right, I and Sophia the Interurn. Do you remember you
- 45:53Speaker 2: were a mere seventh grader when BTS hit the scene?
- 45:55Speaker 3: Probably right, Yeah, I was super young when they started
- 45:59Speaker 3: getting big.
- 46:00Speaker 2: Do you remember hearing about them?
- 46:02Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, that was all anybody ever talked about BTS.
- 46:06Speaker 3: This BTS that we all had the notebooks and all that.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Well, we had the notebooks too, Yeah, we have the notebooks.
- 46:14Speaker 2: It's law. So what about the dates, cities and things
- 46:17Speaker 2: like that. They've not been announced, but they're coming.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Yeah, So they haven't announced yet and we're hearing that
- 46:22Speaker 1: it will happen this Monday at seven a m.
- 46:25Speaker 2: I have to tell you something when you are just
- 46:27Speaker 2: going to say this, maybe we're wrong sometimes, but when
- 46:29Speaker 2: you hear we're hearing, usually were right.
- 46:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and I really think.
- 46:34Speaker 2: We're usually right when we're hearing it here at this
- 46:37Speaker 2: place exactly.
- 46:38Speaker 1: I don't know what time it is in Korea, but
- 46:39Speaker 1: it was like the announcement, it was based off of
- 46:42Speaker 1: a good time for career, so that ended up being
- 46:44Speaker 1: seven am, California time for us.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Well it all worked out then. Yeah. Cool, that's your
- 46:50Speaker 2: BTS update. Look for that. Very exciting that BTS is
- 46:52Speaker 2: back coming up in just a second. Megan Trainer tickets.
- 46:54Speaker 2: It's kiss and it is beautiful. Carefully look up at
- 46:58Speaker 2: that sky if you're not driving, it's nice, or if
- 47:01Speaker 2: you are, just glance up, be right back. When you
- 47:04Speaker 2: think about time it's kissed. It's interesting right because it
- 47:07Speaker 2: is the one year anniversary of the LA fires. We
- 47:10Speaker 2: have been through as a city and especially people who
- 47:12Speaker 2: have lived through that so much that it probably seems
- 47:17Speaker 2: like a lifetime. But then you step back and think, wow,
- 47:20Speaker 2: that was just a year ago, that things were so
- 47:24Speaker 2: different coming off of the holidays, coming into the new
- 47:27Speaker 2: year with that excitement. We kept talking about the excitement
- 47:30Speaker 2: of a new year and the fresh start, and then
- 47:34Speaker 2: smacked in the face with these la fires. And so
- 47:39Speaker 2: there are a lot of different events. There are vigils,
- 47:43Speaker 2: their concerts, their exhibitions, and we have a list of
- 47:47Speaker 2: those here. The Eaten fire took nineteen lives, nine thousand buildings.
- 47:53Speaker 2: Pallisays fired twelve people, nearly seven thousand structures, buildings. So
- 47:59Speaker 2: look at I guess this evening, if we just sort
- 48:01Speaker 2: of look at tonight after work in school, after six o'clock,
- 48:05Speaker 2: there's a concert that's in Altadena. Who's gonna be that concerts?
- 48:07Speaker 1: Systeening, Brat, Paisley Brandon Flowers, Mandy Moore, Alo Black who
- 48:12Speaker 1: I love and we actually did something with him. He
- 48:16Speaker 1: was affected by the fires as well, and he's been
- 48:19Speaker 1: very involved with any sort of charitable events that can
- 48:23Speaker 1: be giving back to victims.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Fire victims, kids that they were just you know, getting
- 48:29Speaker 2: ready to go back to school. Then there's no school.
- 48:32Speaker 2: No school literally no school. Yeah, like you've heard no school,
- 48:34Speaker 2: but like no school building, no school to go to.
- 48:37Speaker 1: Yeah, Pally High turned into the Sears Building in Santa Monica.
- 48:40Speaker 1: I remember they come.
- 48:41Speaker 2: I do they transformed that we have a there's information
- 48:45Speaker 2: here on a concert also in the Palistates tonight that's
- 48:47Speaker 2: around seven o'clock with the Grammy winning violinist. Also, members
- 48:52Speaker 2: of the LA Master Corral and the Governor declared today
- 48:55Speaker 2: an official day of remembrance. Flags you'll see at state
- 48:58Speaker 2: buildings will be flown at half staff. I know some
- 49:02Speaker 2: people here really rocked by it all, taking the day
- 49:05Speaker 2: off as well here at iHeart, just to observe it
- 49:09Speaker 2: and be a part of these different things that are
- 49:11Speaker 2: going on. So a year has gone by, the city
- 49:14Speaker 2: is coming back, got a lot of hopeful things to
- 49:17Speaker 2: look forward to, a lot of big things happening in
- 49:20Speaker 2: LA locally and then just internationally with Olympics coming in
- 49:25Speaker 2: a couple of years, and sod be so interesting to
- 49:29Speaker 2: see where what it looks like when it's all back,
- 49:34Speaker 2: full speed back in what they say, a better way too.
- 49:38Speaker 2: Let's get a quick break appreciate you being here this
- 49:41Speaker 2: morning on kiss LA this Wednesday, January seventh. We are
- 49:45Speaker 2: doing it so wrapping it up for us this morning tomorrow.
- 49:48Speaker 2: We've got Oriana Grunde tickets for you every single hour.
- 49:52Speaker 2: Some homeowners think that these keep burglars away. Apparently it
- 49:58Speaker 2: does the opposite. We'll talk about that in the morning now,
- 50:02Speaker 2: Ciciny Ryan's roses. All right, there is an incident that
- 50:07Speaker 2: happened earlier in the year that destroyed trust in her husband.
- 50:13Speaker 2: And it's not as simple as it may sound. I've
- 50:16Speaker 2: been thinking about this kind of stuff lately. Maybe we
