- 0:58SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: As long as you keep sending in questions, listening.
- 1:02SPEAKER_01: Story and listening.
- 1:03SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: Sharing.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: We'll continue blabbing and giving our opinions.
- 1:07SPEAKER_01: So uh but we thought today we might just take a little side break from operations and talk about ourselves.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Something we love doing.
- 1:17SPEAKER_03: Yes, we love to do it.
- 1:19SPEAKER_03: We we thought it would be fun to just ask each other some questions and, you know, let you guys know us a little bit more on a personal level.
- 1:29SPEAKER_03: Um, and you can tell us if you love it or hate it, if you want us to add more personal things, or if you want to just shop.
- 1:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 1:37SPEAKER_03: Whatever you want.
- 1:38SPEAKER_03: We are here to provide.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: Provide and serve our uh listeners.
- 1:43SPEAKER_01: Perfect.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: Well, why don't we get started in getting to know the offers?
- 1:48SPEAKER_03: Ooh, I have some I have some fun questions.
- 1:50SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:51SPEAKER_02: Start us off.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: Let's see.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: What?
- 1:56SPEAKER_03: So let's start out with a a f a cute one.
- 1:58SPEAKER_03: What is your favorite thing about yourself?
- 2:01SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: What is my favorite thing about myself?
- 2:04SPEAKER_01: I hate talking about it.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 2:06SPEAKER_01: That's the reason she started with this one.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: He is terrible.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: I love just giving him some anxiety to start the day.
- 2:14SPEAKER_01: Um, this is gonna be super lame, but because I don't like talking about myself, I really love my eyelashes because they give me compliments.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: I love your eyelashes too.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: I think that was one of like the first things when you came to visit.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: I was like, are do you get your eyelashes done?
- 2:31SPEAKER_03: Like he has the most natural, like curly eyelash and they're thick.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't get them done.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 2:39SPEAKER_01: They're just God's gift to me.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: You're so blessed.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: I love them.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: I don't take them for granted.
- 2:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 2:45SPEAKER_01: I I didn't even know what a curler was or eyeliner.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: I guess it's mascara.
- 2:50SPEAKER_03: Mascara, yeah.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Didn't know what any of that was, and people thought, you know, I use it all the time.
- 2:55SPEAKER_01: No, they're just all natural.
- 2:56SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: So it's it allows people to give me a little big head with uh as you should.
- 3:04SPEAKER_03: You should have a big head about them.
- 3:06SPEAKER_03: They're beautiful.
- 3:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I um I think it men always have way prettier eyelashes than women.
- 3:13SPEAKER_03: I think it's because women just do all sorts of shit to them.
- 3:16SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:17SPEAKER_03: Like yeah, I just do all sorts of stuff.
- 3:20SPEAKER_01: Paint them.
- 3:21SPEAKER_03: Paint them, put lash extensions, curl them.
- 3:25SPEAKER_01: Don't you use glue for that?
- 3:27SPEAKER_03: Oh, for the lash extensions, yeah.
- 3:29SPEAKER_03: But if you're painful, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 3:31SPEAKER_03: Well, I'm allergic to the lash glue and I still get it done.
- 3:34SPEAKER_03: Because I'm psychotic.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: Pain herbs.
- 3:37SPEAKER_03: Beauty is pain, guys.
- 3:39SPEAKER_01: There we go.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: Well, tell me what you think your favorite thing about yourself is.
- 3:44SPEAKER_03: Oh, um I go more to like I can uh I can fake confidence well.
- 3:55SPEAKER_01: Ooh, that's a good trait to have.
- 3:58SPEAKER_01: I I'm not good at that.
- 4:01SPEAKER_03: It's it's been a learning curve.
- 4:02SPEAKER_03: Like I haven't always been good at it.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: And I don't in some instances instances I'm still not, but I think I've learned how to fake it pretty well.
- 4:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:10SPEAKER_03: Um, I can come across as confident even if I am like having a panic attack.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 4:16SPEAKER_01: That's skill right there.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:18SPEAKER_03: I mean, not to you.
- 4:19SPEAKER_03: I just have my panic attacks, but you know.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Hey, that's what we're here for.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:24SPEAKER_03: When I'm comfortable, I'll just have my panic attack.
- 4:27SPEAKER_03: But otherwise.
- 4:28SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 4:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: No, that's it.
- 4:30SPEAKER_01: That's definitely a good treat, especially in your position.
- 4:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I try.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: I think that's what made me practice and like get better at it.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: So I guess from a professional stance, uh, I can sometimes do that a little better.
- 4:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: But just like personal out and about, not not good at it at all.
- 4:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: Or with my parents, yeah, no.
- 4:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 4:53SPEAKER_03: Shout out Robin and Chris.
- 4:55SPEAKER_01: We love them.
- 4:56SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 4:57SPEAKER_01: Let me pick one.
- 5:02SPEAKER_01: Ooh, this is a fun one.
- 5:03SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
- 5:04SPEAKER_01: What is one luxury you never want to live without, no matter how small or ridiculous it might be?
- 5:12SPEAKER_03: I knew you were gonna pick that question for me.
- 5:14SPEAKER_03: Um gosh.
- 5:19SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 5:20SPEAKER_03: A small luxury that I wouldn't want to live without.
- 5:23SPEAKER_03: I, if you know me, I'm kind of a diva.
- 5:26SPEAKER_03: I like all my luxuries.
- 5:28SPEAKER_03: I like to be comfortable.
- 5:31SPEAKER_03: I like nice things.
- 5:33SPEAKER_03: I don't know if I could just choose one.
- 5:35SPEAKER_03: That's what I was saying.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: I'm not hearing one.
- 5:37SPEAKER_03: Um what is a small all I can think of is like uh business class flight.
- 5:44SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: I don't like to fly economy.
- 5:47SPEAKER_03: It gives me anxiety.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: Can we fly an economy?
- 5:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, on Southwest, there's not really such a thing.
- 5:53SPEAKER_03: We're traveling in a few weeks and we're flying southwest, and I'm like, oh my gosh.
- 5:58SPEAKER_03: They have assigned seating now at least, but like there's still not like a separate, like, there's not bigger seating or like I don't think.
- 6:06SPEAKER_03: It's just you get to have seats closer to the front of the plane, I guess.
- 6:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:11SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I'll be praying for you because I'm gonna be a mess.
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna say my prayers that morning too.
- 6:18SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 6:19SPEAKER_03: Well, I really hope that I'm not we're not sitting next to somebody crazy.
- 6:24SPEAKER_03: Not that there's not crazy people in business class, but you at least have a little more separation.
- 6:30SPEAKER_01: And room and space.
- 6:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:32SPEAKER_03: What about you?
- 6:33SPEAKER_03: What is your favorite luxury?
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: I love my phone.
- 6:38SPEAKER_01: I love my own.
- 6:39SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, that's that's the that's the luxury item.
- 6:42SPEAKER_03: I didn't know we were playing like first world versus like not.
- 6:46SPEAKER_03: I don't feel like a phone is a luxury item.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Oh wow.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: I guess not.
- 6:52SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 6:53SPEAKER_03: I'll let you answer without me telling you what you need to answer.
- 7:00SPEAKER_03: You were no Landon is so down to earth, and I'm like, I need a first class of light.
- 7:07SPEAKER_03: And Landon's like, I just need a cell phone.
- 7:10SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, that's like us in a nutshell.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: Oh gosh, no.
- 7:15SPEAKER_01: I'll go a step further and say my Apple iPhone, my Pro Max, like this size.
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: The big one.
- 7:23SPEAKER_03: You like the big max.
- 7:24SPEAKER_03: See, the Max is too.
- 7:26SPEAKER_03: I have the Pro.
- 7:27SPEAKER_03: My husband has the Max.
- 7:29SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, it's just so big.
- 7:30SPEAKER_01: I couldn't live without it now.
- 7:32SPEAKER_01: I was uh, or even the one that folds, no.
- 7:34SPEAKER_01: Oh, I saw that.
- 7:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I don't want that one.
- 7:37SPEAKER_03: I'm kind of interested in that one.
- 7:38SPEAKER_03: I want to look at it in the store to see if I like it.
- 7:43SPEAKER_01: I don't think I would because it's like, I don't know, we always said uh hamburger versus hot dogs vertical and versus horizontal.
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I I like my iPhone big and horizontal.
- 7:56SPEAKER_01: I don't want it folding in hamburger.
- 7:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 7:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no.
- 8:00SPEAKER_03: It is weird that it folds this way.
- 8:01SPEAKER_03: You would think it would flip up.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: I would have liked it more if it flipped up.
- 8:05SPEAKER_03: Nostalgia.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 8:07SPEAKER_03: That would have been cool.
- 8:09SPEAKER_03: But the fact that it flips ver uh horizontally means you're gonna have like a one big, it's gonna almost be like a laptop.
- 8:18SPEAKER_01: Almost, yeah.
- 8:18SPEAKER_03: Like it's gonna be a sideways screen, so that's weird.
- 8:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and like I don't know if it does the two screens or if it's just one.
- 8:25SPEAKER_01: The whole concept to me is weird.
- 8:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it is a little weird.
- 8:28SPEAKER_03: That's why I'm not sold on it.
- 8:29SPEAKER_03: But the ADHD in me is like, oh, something new.
- 8:31SPEAKER_03: Yeah, something different.
- 8:34SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna go check it out.
- 8:35SPEAKER_03: But I yeah, I don't know if I yeah.
- 8:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's my fun, my fun side.
- 8:41SPEAKER_03: The the very few and far between funness that I have.
- 8:44SPEAKER_03: Um, but yeah, that new iPhone is interesting.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: Gosh, I beat Marcus to a T with our luxury items.
- 8:50SPEAKER_03: It really did.
- 8:51SPEAKER_03: I cannot believe you said an iPhone.
- 8:54SPEAKER_03: I literally can't with you.
- 8:56SPEAKER_03: Maybe one day I'll get to fly first class.
- 8:57SPEAKER_03: Oh, shut up.
- 9:00SPEAKER_03: I use credit card points, okay?
- 9:02SPEAKER_03: You just buy everything on your credit card, pay it off, and then you use your points.
- 9:07SPEAKER_01: It's free and finance one-on-one.
- 9:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 9:10SPEAKER_03: Girl math.
- 9:11SPEAKER_03: Okay, let's see.
- 9:13SPEAKER_03: What um if if I had a holiday, so this is like you answer for me.
- 9:22SPEAKER_03: So if I had a holiday dedicated to me, what would people do to celebrate?
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: What would we do to celebrate?
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: Well, we'd go to a very luxurious restaurant for dinner, for sure.
- 9:41SPEAKER_01: Um there's there's no fast food going on in that celebration.
- 9:46SPEAKER_01: Um, what else would they do to celebrate?
- 9:49SPEAKER_01: Here, like food, fancy food.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: Fancy food.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: Um, probably go shopping.
- 9:54SPEAKER_01: I love shopping.
- 9:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 9:57SPEAKER_01: And then maybe after shopping, they'd go home and rearrange their house.
- 10:05SPEAKER_01: That's what the day would be.
- 10:06SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 10:07SPEAKER_03: I love it.
- 10:08SPEAKER_03: That sounds like a day in the life.
- 10:10SPEAKER_03: Really.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: Perfect.
- 10:11SPEAKER_03: Perfect day for Sabrina.
- 10:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 10:13SPEAKER_03: Last Friday, I told you I rearranged, so I I was ordering new couches, and I, you know, I got the old stuff out of my living room, got a new rug, put the new rug in, and I swear I was gonna go through the ring camera and like do a little like fast forward reel of like all of the the time that I spent moving the rug.
- 10:36SPEAKER_03: That would be fun.
- 10:37SPEAKER_03: Can you imagine?
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: I bet our listeners would love to see it on Twitter.
- 10:40SPEAKER_03: I honestly, the time that I spent moving the fucking rug.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 10:44SPEAKER_03: I don't know if I've cussed on this podcast, sorry.
- 10:47SPEAKER_03: It was insane.
- 10:49SPEAKER_03: I was getting on my own nerves.
- 10:51SPEAKER_03: And I like the rug would be like this, and I would look at it from the side.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: I would make sure it lined up exactly, and if it didn't, I would move it just like ever so slightly.
- 11:00SPEAKER_03: And I did that over and over again for like three and a half hours.
- 11:05SPEAKER_01: It's kind of like the snack drawer.
- 11:07SPEAKER_01: It really was.
- 11:08SPEAKER_01: But more intense.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: It's more intense.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: And then I would move the entire rug a different position because then I would think, well, what if the couch needs to go like this?
- 11:16SPEAKER_03: So then I would move the rug entirely, start all over, do it again, get it perfect.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: Uh no, what if I don't like it?
- 11:23SPEAKER_03: What if we need to rearrange it again?
- 11:25SPEAKER_03: It was insane.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: We got like one or two chances with me, and then I'm done.
- 11:29SPEAKER_03: Uh I look good.
- 11:30SPEAKER_03: I was annoying myself.
- 11:32SPEAKER_03: I was like, they just need to bring the freaking couch already because this is crazy.
- 11:35SPEAKER_00: Yeah, going clockwise with the rug.
- 11:37SPEAKER_03: It was bad.
- 11:38SPEAKER_03: Oh, and then guess what?
- 11:40SPEAKER_03: They brought the couch.
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: And you moved the rug.
- 11:42SPEAKER_03: I moved the rug while the movers were there.
- 11:45SPEAKER_03: I moved it.
- 11:46SPEAKER_03: They probably hated me, or like the delivery people.
- 11:49SPEAKER_03: And they were like clearly irritated with me because you're supposed to have everything like they're just supposed to come in, deliver it, unbox it, and then go.
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: I'm sure they're on like a time limit or something.
- 12:00SPEAKER_03: I was having them just and then the guy tried to help me, but he moved it crooked.
- 12:05SPEAKER_03: I forgot to tell you this.
- 12:07SPEAKER_03: The guy tried to help me, and he I was like, Yeah, just m just pull it that way.
- 12:11SPEAKER_03: And he pulled it, but he like he didn't even like pull it, he messed it all up.
- 12:16SPEAKER_00: I've moved around with you before, he didn't know what he was doing.
- 12:18SPEAKER_03: I said, Oh, uh, not like that.
- 12:21SPEAKER_03: And so I am saying I can hear it now.
- 12:25SPEAKER_03: I did.
- 12:26SPEAKER_03: And then they, you know, we got it situated with the movers, and then the next day I made Brandon help me move it one more time.
- 12:34SPEAKER_00: Brandon, what a soul.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: What a saint.
- 12:38SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:39SPEAKER_03: So anyway, that's my life.
- 12:41SPEAKER_01: I guess I hit it pretty nail on the head.
- 12:44SPEAKER_03: I think for you.
- 12:46SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: And what do we celebrate my holiday?
- 12:48SPEAKER_03: Your holiday would be uh well, Bell's would be there, your cat.
- 12:53SPEAKER_03: Oh, yes.
- 12:54SPEAKER_03: I'd probably throw it at your house with like, or maybe uh no, you know what?
- 12:59SPEAKER_03: We do like a dolly Parton themed party.
- 13:03SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 13:04SPEAKER_01: I think uh we would agree.
- 13:06SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 13:06SPEAKER_03: Uh and then Bell's would be there.
- 13:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:09SPEAKER_03: Whether physically or in spirit.
- 13:11SPEAKER_03: Maybe I'd have our pictures everywhere, something.
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: We'd have some good drinks.
- 13:17SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 13:18SPEAKER_03: We'd have some fun drinks.
- 13:19SPEAKER_03: Not too crazy, Robin, not too crazy.
- 13:22SPEAKER_03: Um, and then we would have um some good food.
- 13:27SPEAKER_03: It doesn't have to be like oh, you know what we'd have?
- 13:31SPEAKER_03: I know what you're gonna say.
- 13:32SPEAKER_03: A bojangles.
- 13:33SPEAKER_03: We'd have bojangles, bojangles, and Dolly Parton on repeat.
- 13:40SPEAKER_03: The Bowberry biscuits.
- 13:41SPEAKER_01: That sounds like a holiday and a half to me.
- 13:45SPEAKER_03: And we just have a grand old time.
- 13:48SPEAKER_03: It sounds like with your iPhone, your luxury item.
- 13:52SPEAKER_03: Your luxury item.
- 13:53SPEAKER_01: Oh, and for our listeners who don't know what bojangles is, it's probably the best chicken place in all of America.
- 14:01SPEAKER_01: It beats raising canes and definitely beats Popeyes.
- 14:04SPEAKER_03: Oh god.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: I don't even eat there.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 14:08SPEAKER_01: Bojangles beats them all.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:10SPEAKER_01: Um, but the thing about bojangles in San Antonio, they don't serve the big chicken buckets like they do back.
- 14:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that was disappointing.
- 14:17SPEAKER_01: That was very disappointing.
- 14:18SPEAKER_01: We had it here in the office.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: I had to bring a little bit of North Carolina to the office.
- 14:23SPEAKER_01: Um but yeah, Bojangles is the North Carolina Bojangles.
- 14:27SPEAKER_01: Dolly and Bojangles.
- 14:28SPEAKER_03: I yeah.
- 14:31SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 14:31SPEAKER_03: That just came to me, too.
- 14:33SPEAKER_03: I was like, what kind of food?
- 14:34SPEAKER_00: Um exactly what you were gonna say, too.
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: We love it.
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: So much stuff.
- 14:41SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 14:42SPEAKER_01: A great holiday.
- 14:44SPEAKER_01: All right, let's see.
- 14:49SPEAKER_01: Ooh, I want to know this one.
- 14:51SPEAKER_01: Oh god.
- 14:52SPEAKER_01: If your personality came with a warning label, what would it say?
- 14:58SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 14:59SPEAKER_03: I don't even know.
- 15:00SPEAKER_03: It would uh very opinionated.
- 15:03SPEAKER_03: Warning, very opinionated.
- 15:05SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:05SPEAKER_00: I mean that would be a good warning.
- 15:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, for sure.
- 15:08SPEAKER_03: I think that would be the one.
- 15:09SPEAKER_00: Warning, do not move the rug.
- 15:12SPEAKER_03: OCD and very opinionated.
- 15:14SPEAKER_00: What a combination.
- 15:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: Oh wow Oh, I'm crazy, as you know.
- 15:21SPEAKER_03: We went shopping at um HomeSense today.
- 15:24SPEAKER_03: Landon got me into HomeSense.
- 15:26SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know this was a store that existed.
- 15:30SPEAKER_03: It's a great store.
- 15:31SPEAKER_03: I found some really good stuff there.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: We went today and I don't even know how many times we went around the whole store.
- 15:37SPEAKER_03: Four.
- 15:38SPEAKER_03: He was tired of me.
- 15:39SPEAKER_03: Sick and tired.
- 15:41SPEAKER_01: She did ask me if there was anything I wanted to see, and I said, no, I don't need to see it for a fifth time.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 15:46SPEAKER_03: He was over me.
- 15:47SPEAKER_03: It's like we've been around the store like four times.
- 15:50SPEAKER_01: In your defense, every time we went around, I saw something new.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 15:53SPEAKER_01: So I I get why you do it.
- 15:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:55SPEAKER_01: It's just so many things.
- 15:56SPEAKER_01: There are.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: It's a very overwhelming store.
- 15:58SPEAKER_03: It is, but it's uh much more organized than like at home or like home goods, which is why I like it.
- 16:04SPEAKER_01: It's a level up from home for sure.
- 16:05SPEAKER_01: I think I'm pretty sure they own it, but yeah, they do, I think.
- 16:09SPEAKER_03: Sounds good.
- 16:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:11SPEAKER_03: So what would What was your question?
- 16:14SPEAKER_03: The warning label.
- 16:15SPEAKER_03: Oh, yes, yes, yes.
- 16:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, what would be yours?
- 16:20SPEAKER_01: I would say morning may explain too much.
- 16:26SPEAKER_01: Really?
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 16:27SPEAKER_01: You don't feel like don't lie.
- 16:30SPEAKER_01: You know, I get on your nerves because I overexplain.
- 16:33SPEAKER_03: You don't.
- 16:34SPEAKER_03: I feel like you've learned me pretty well though.
- 16:36SPEAKER_01: That that might be true.
- 16:37SPEAKER_01: In the beginning, I definitely did.
- 16:39SPEAKER_01: I could I I I I you just lose me after a minute.
- 16:42SPEAKER_03: Exactly.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: Because I don't get to the point.
- 16:44SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:45SPEAKER_03: And that's just work-related.
- 16:46SPEAKER_03: Like if it's like personal stuff, you don't overexplain because like you're telling the story.
- 16:51SPEAKER_01: But I can definitely tell the story and then the grandma's story.
- 16:55SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 16:56SPEAKER_01: But that's that's the fun stuff.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's true.
- 16:59SPEAKER_01: Usually you love drama.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:00SPEAKER_03: But yeah, uh work-wise, I don't know.
- 17:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, maybe I definitely feel like sometimes I could uh get lost in the story and then I'll be telling something or I'll be talking about something.
- 17:14SPEAKER_01: I even see it with the guys.
- 17:16SPEAKER_01: Uh but I'll be uh and like it it's been with every person I've ever worked with, but trying to like over-communicate the details so there's no misunderstanding.
- 17:25SPEAKER_01: And then sometimes I don't do that enough.
- 17:27SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 17:28SPEAKER_03: But I would I I would say you're hard on yourself.
- 17:32SPEAKER_01: Maybe that's a better yeah.
- 17:34SPEAKER_01: Morning talks a lot.
- 17:36SPEAKER_03: Morning talks a lot.
- 17:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that would be a good yeah.
- 17:39SPEAKER_03: That's a fun label though.
- 17:40SPEAKER_03: Is it though?
- 17:41SPEAKER_03: It's like, yeah.
- 17:42SPEAKER_00: Until Sabrina's trying to work and I'm over here asking questions.
- 17:46SPEAKER_03: Well, it's it's just because I get so distracted.
- 17:50SPEAKER_03: I have to I get so distracted.
- 17:53SPEAKER_03: I can't even uh stay in my seat for a long time.
- 17:56SPEAKER_03: I have to like get up.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 17:57SPEAKER_03: Like I right before we started recording, I went to go get a drink and then I was gone for like I don't even know how long.
- 18:03SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 18:04SPEAKER_01: I thought you weren't gonna come back recording.
- 18:06SPEAKER_03: I was like, okay, I'm gonna go home then.
- 18:08SPEAKER_03: You're like, where is she?
- 18:11SPEAKER_03: Oh, yeah.
- 18:12SPEAKER_03: No.
- 18:13SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 18:13SPEAKER_03: Good mornings though.
- 18:14SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 18:15SPEAKER_03: So how do you feel about uh the Sydney Sweeney's new sports ad, the sports betting ad?
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: You're just trying to get us canceled.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Um I don't I don't know because it to me marketing's all about knowing your audience.
- 18:34SPEAKER_01: And so with the new you know, ad, I forgot the name of the company, but me too.
- 18:41SPEAKER_03: Um something with an N.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, Nordak or something like that.
- 18:45SPEAKER_01: I think that's the Santa Claus thingist.
- 18:47SPEAKER_03: I don't know Nordic.
- 18:49SPEAKER_03: Nordic is the exercise equipment.
- 18:51SPEAKER_03: I know that.
- 18:52SPEAKER_03: Uh-huh.
- 18:53SPEAKER_03: Something with an N.
- 18:55unknown: Yeah.
- 18:56unknown: Yeah.
- 18:57SPEAKER_01: Um, okay, yeah.
- 18:59SPEAKER_01: Whatever it is, I think like the audience is definitely younger and older men.
- 19:05SPEAKER_01: Like sports betting, not that women can't sports bet, but audience, target audience.
- 19:11SPEAKER_01: So I definitely think that they were going towards that.
- 19:14SPEAKER_01: But did they do it in the right way?
- 19:16SPEAKER_01: No, I definitely think that women athletes have a right to speak up and say, hey, this is how you're making me feel.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 19:23SPEAKER_01: Uh, but I think also the company just knew their target audience.
- 19:27SPEAKER_01: They weren't targeting.
- 19:29SPEAKER_03: So it's probably not the You're so politically correct.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: Am I?
- 19:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I love it.
- 19:35SPEAKER_00: It's the two.
- 19:36SPEAKER_00: I gotta make sure everybody's happy.
- 19:38SPEAKER_03: You're like, I don't want to upset any of our listeners.
- 19:41SPEAKER_03: Um yeah.
- 19:43SPEAKER_03: I I say don't hate the player, hate the game.
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: That's essentially I'm sorry.
- 19:49SPEAKER_03: Like, okay, we're all gonna attack Sydney Sweeney because she's hot, she's blonde, and she's naked on TV.
- 19:55SPEAKER_03: Isn't it like her choice to do that?
- 19:59SPEAKER_03: She chose to do that.
- 20:00SPEAKER_03: She wasn't forced to do it.
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: So she's not.
- 20:03SPEAKER_03: I just don't get the uproar and the women hating on Sydney Sweeney for it.
- 20:10SPEAKER_03: I can see where, you know, yeah, that it sucks that women are still sexualized in that way and seen for their bodies, but hate the people that the marketing works on, right?
- 20:24SPEAKER_03: Like it's this company that nobody knows about.
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: I still don't even know its name, but I know that now I now know that they're a sports betting company and that if I want to do any sports betting, then I know I can look up Sydney Sweeney sports betting and it'll come up.
- 20:40SPEAKER_03: And I'll I'll remember that.
- 20:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:43SPEAKER_03: And it's like, you know, they they knew their audience, which was predominantly male, and now they've gotten attention, whether good or bad, and that's all that marketing is is attention.
- 20:55SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 20:56SPEAKER_03: And we're do you know, they wanted to be known, they're known now.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: A company like that, you know, even the bad marketing's market.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:04SPEAKER_01: Because some they're probably going to the website.
- 21:06SPEAKER_01: We're talking about it.
- 21:07SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 21:08SPEAKER_01: We're talking about it.
- 21:09SPEAKER_01: They're probably going to the website to see what it's all about.
- 21:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I looked it up because I I was seeing all these reels on Instagram about like women in sport being really upset by the ad.
- 21:19SPEAKER_03: So I looked up like, I was like, what is this?
- 21:21SPEAKER_03: So I looked up the company and I went to their page and saw the ad.
- 21:26SPEAKER_03: And I just think if we're all about women and, you know, empowering women to do what they love and, you know, succeed at what they want.
- 21:37SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 21:38SPEAKER_03: Would I want my daughter to find her value in her body and like how she looks?
- 21:43SPEAKER_03: No.
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: Would I want that for my niece?
- 21:45SPEAKER_03: No.
- 21:46SPEAKER_03: Um, would I hope that she knows that she's way, she's worth way more than just how she looks on the outside?
- 21:54SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 21:55SPEAKER_03: But Sydney Sweeney had the choice to make and she chose to do the ad.
- 21:59SPEAKER_03: Like Why are we hating on her?
- 22:01SPEAKER_03: I don't get it.
- 22:02SPEAKER_03: No, I don't get it.
- 22:04SPEAKER_03: But that's my very opinionated point of view.
- 22:08SPEAKER_03: But I can see where you have different perspectives about it.
- 22:11SPEAKER_03: Like people have different perspectives.
- 22:13SPEAKER_03: Um so I don't know.
- 22:16SPEAKER_03: But that's just my initial opinion.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I I I definitely agree.
- 22:21SPEAKER_01: You know, she had a choice.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:23SPEAKER_01: And she made the one she wanted to.
- 22:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I bet she made a shit ton of money.
- 22:26SPEAKER_01: Oh, I can only imagine.
- 22:28SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so hey, you know, whatever you're comfortable doing, girl.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: Hey.
- 22:32SPEAKER_03: I don't hate.
- 22:33SPEAKER_01: No, it's about the dollars.
- 22:35SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 22:38SPEAKER_01: Let's see.
- 22:39SPEAKER_01: What the else should we ask?
- 22:46SPEAKER_01: What is something you've accomplished that you don't give yourself enough credit for?
- 22:54SPEAKER_03: I think sometimes I am a little uh like self-deprecating.
- 23:02SPEAKER_03: Well, I I'm very much self-deprecating.
- 23:05SPEAKER_03: I I don't give my credit myself credit for a whole lot.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: I think I'm very proud, and I was thinking about this the other day is like building this company with um Dana and Tyler.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: It's it's been a lot of work, and it doesn't, I mean, I know I wasn't responsible for all of it, but I was responsible for a lot of it.
- 23:29SPEAKER_03: And I don't think I give myself enough credit.
- 23:32SPEAKER_03: I think plenty of other people give me credit, but I don't give myself enough credit for all the work that I've put in and you know, all of the ideas that I've brought to the table that we've implemented and we, you know, have been successful.
- 23:46SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I'd say that.
- 23:47SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 23:48SPEAKER_01: 15 years.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: We can recelebrate.
- 23:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 23:52SPEAKER_03: It is crazy.
- 23:53SPEAKER_03: What about you?
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: No, you've definitely built something big.
- 23:57SPEAKER_01: Um, I hate giving myself credit for I know.
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: It's so weird.
- 24:01SPEAKER_01: It shouldn't no.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: Um, even when I have ideas, I tell other people to I know you're so annoying.
- 24:06SPEAKER_01: I know, it's terrible.
- 24:07SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I know you did that.
- 24:09SPEAKER_03: I know that was.
- 24:10SPEAKER_01: I still tell the demon to say it was the you know, uh because I know you will know that I did it.
- 24:16SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I don't know.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: I think for me it's so hard.
- 24:24SPEAKER_01: I think uh publishing my own book was uh it had always been a dream of mine, and you know, I had people that didn't tear me down necessarily but tried to create an obstacle for it and everything.
- 24:39SPEAKER_01: It was something that I wanted to achieve, and uh I finally got to achieve it.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 24:44SPEAKER_01: And you know, even after I did, it was so surreal surreal, and I didn't like actually take the time to say, you know, look at what you've accomplished.
- 24:55SPEAKER_01: And so that's something I've done uh recently.
- 24:58SPEAKER_01: Um, I was kind of just I have the first copy that I ever got in my hands framed.
- 25:02SPEAKER_02: So I love that.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: So I was looking up at it and I was like, look how far you've come, you know.
- 25:10SPEAKER_01: Um six-year-old, seven-year-old Landon with the be so proud.
- 25:15SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's so sweet.
- 25:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, tell everyone what your book is called and what it's about.
- 25:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so we uh spoke of my cat Bells earlier.
- 25:23SPEAKER_01: Um, and so it's uh hopefully one day gonna turn into a series.
- 25:27SPEAKER_01: That's my plan.
- 25:28SPEAKER_01: I actually have the second one written, but so the series is called The Adventures of Bobby and Bells.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: Um, and then the first book is teaching kids how to save their money for something they want.
- 25:40SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 25:40SPEAKER_01: And so uh the full title is The Adventure of Bobby and Bells and the Great Piggy Bank Plan.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: Um, you can go on Amazon and purchase it.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: We'll link it.
- 25:50SPEAKER_03: We'll have Jameson, our producer, link it.
- 25:52SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 25:53SPEAKER_01: Shout out to Jameson.
- 25:54SPEAKER_03: Shout out Jameson.
- 25:55SPEAKER_01: Shout out him.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 25:56SPEAKER_03: Uh he has to put up with us.
- 25:58SPEAKER_01: Yes, he does.
- 25:59SPEAKER_01: But yeah, it was uh quite an awesome accomplishment.
- 26:02SPEAKER_01: So if, you know, and yeah, I've had major supporters, uh, like Sabrina, um, and you know, my family and friends.
- 26:11SPEAKER_01: And I I found out the other day I actually sold one in Canada.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: That's so cool.
- 26:14SPEAKER_01: So that was cool to see.
- 26:16SPEAKER_03: That's so cool.
- 26:17SPEAKER_01: But yeah, and the the second one's um gonna be about imagination.
- 26:20SPEAKER_01: And so I actually have it written.
- 26:22SPEAKER_01: I just need to get it uh Yeah, you need to published.
- 26:25SPEAKER_01: So yeah, that was it was a pretty cool accomplishment.
- 26:28SPEAKER_03: Yes, for sure.
- 26:29SPEAKER_03: That is awesome.
- 26:30SPEAKER_03: I remember seeing it and I was like, oh my gosh, that is so cool.
- 26:33SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 26:34SPEAKER_03: Our our published author.
- 26:35SPEAKER_01: That's me.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: And it's all my bios everywhere I go.
- 26:39SPEAKER_03: Yes, of course it is, as it should be.
- 26:42SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 26:44SPEAKER_03: Let's see.
- 26:46SPEAKER_03: It's my turn, right?
- 26:47SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 26:47SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: What is your current food obsession?
- 26:50SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 26:52SPEAKER_03: I you tell us what your food obsession is, but then I have to comment about what you told me earlier.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: Oh, uh-oh.
- 27:00SPEAKER_03: About the tamales.
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: No.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: That was my weekly obsession, apparently.
- 27:06SPEAKER_00: No, that's gonna bring back my luxury.
- 27:09SPEAKER_00: You're gonna know why I suffer my luxury.
- 27:12SPEAKER_00: What is my current food obsession?
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: Um you know, moving to San Antonio, I've eaten a lot of Mexican food, but I don't know if that's my obsession.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 27:23SPEAKER_03: Um I mean, you're not really a foodie if you can eat the same thing for 10 days straight.
- 27:30SPEAKER_03: She's dragging me.
- 27:31SPEAKER_03: Okay, tell the story why.
- 27:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: It's food obsession.
- 27:34SPEAKER_03: So uh we were in the car today, and I don't even remember what we were talking about, but it he he brought up the fact that he bought, we talked about this like last week that you were eating tamales.
- 27:46SPEAKER_03: You were like, Oh, I went over the weekend and I bought, well, first you called them enchiladas.
- 27:51SPEAKER_03: Oh, and I was like, What?
- 27:53SPEAKER_03: He was like, Yeah, they're or are they tamales?
- 27:56SPEAKER_03: They're in like the corn husk thing.
- 27:57SPEAKER_03: I was like, those are tamales, not enchiladas.
- 28:01SPEAKER_03: But uh anyway, so then today he's talking about these tamales again, and I'm like, Wait, what do you mean you've been eating them?
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: Like, how many tamales did you buy?
- 28:11SPEAKER_03: And how long has it been since you've been eating these?
- 28:14SPEAKER_03: And he's been eating them for lunch and dinner on the weekends, and then dinner during the week for 10 days.
- 28:22SPEAKER_03: It came in a big pack.
- 28:23SPEAKER_03: You're a sociopath.
- 28:24SPEAKER_01: Probably.
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: That is not normal.
- 28:26SPEAKER_01: It's not, but you know, they came in a pack of 10.
- 28:30SPEAKER_01: I'm a single guy at home.
- 28:31SPEAKER_01: Like, ow.
- 28:33SPEAKER_01: Waste them.
- 28:34SPEAKER_01: Well, okay.
- 28:35SPEAKER_01: I froze the other pack of 20.
- 28:37SPEAKER_01: At least it's not another 10 days.
- 28:39SPEAKER_03: Oh my god.
- 28:39SPEAKER_03: Wait, so okay, so you're eating one tamale a night?
- 28:42SPEAKER_03: No, about two.
- 28:43SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 28:44SPEAKER_03: That's insane.
- 28:45SPEAKER_03: How many left do you have?
- 28:46SPEAKER_03: Are you eating them again today?
- 28:48SPEAKER_01: No, no, I ate the last of them last night.
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: And you don't just like when you're eating them for the on the tenth day, you're not like, oh, I don't want this.
- 28:58SPEAKER_03: I mean the tenth day, I was like, okay.
- 29:00SPEAKER_03: Even like the fifth day halfway?
- 29:03SPEAKER_01: Oh, no.
- 29:04SPEAKER_01: When I was younger, I and I tried to obviously I'm a bigger guy, and so I was like trying to uh lose weight.
- 29:12SPEAKER_01: I was eating a salad.
- 29:13SPEAKER_01: I ate the same Greek salad for a year, and then I ate the same Caesar salad for a year, and this was like fifth and sixth grade.
- 29:22SPEAKER_03: So that's not normal behavior.
- 29:25SPEAKER_01: I went to school with a girl who took the laughing cow cheese.
- 29:28SPEAKER_01: Like she ate the same thing like from kindergarten through like 12th grade.
- 29:32SPEAKER_03: I wish I had whatever gene this is that like you don't care about what you're eating, like you don't you're just eating to eat it.
- 29:43SPEAKER_03: I eat because I want to like I eat things that I like.
- 29:47SPEAKER_01: I mean, yes.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: I I like tamales.
- 29:50SPEAKER_03: If I didn't like tamales, well, yeah, but for 10 days.
- 29:54SPEAKER_03: I'm just genuinely concerned.
- 29:57SPEAKER_01: I don't I I don't have anyone at home to cook for, so it's like my cat's eating the same thing every day.
- 30:03SPEAKER_03: So yeah, I just still that's not that's not a valid argument for me.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: That's fair.
- 30:08SPEAKER_01: I'll do better.
- 30:09SPEAKER_01: I I used to do better.
- 30:11SPEAKER_01: I used to cook like three different things in the week, and then I would you would just alternate.
- 30:14SPEAKER_03: See, that would that would make sense to me.
- 30:16SPEAKER_01: That's less psychopathic.
- 30:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like that's that's normal behavior.
- 30:20SPEAKER_01: But I had twenty hours to get through.
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: So the 10 the 10 days straight of tamales is like very concerning to me.
- 30:28SPEAKER_03: But I'm glad that we're we're past that.
- 30:30SPEAKER_03: We're past that, yes.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: Um, I guess all that to say is my food obsession is tamales currently.
- 30:35SPEAKER_01: That's insane.
- 30:37SPEAKER_01: Although I can go like a couple months without having a tamale now.
- 30:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 30:42SPEAKER_03: So you're not, I guess I didn't realize how like how much of like not a big foodie person you are.
- 30:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love food.
- 30:51SPEAKER_01: Girl, look at me.
- 30:52SPEAKER_03: Well, it's just weird to me that you eat tamales for 10 days straight.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: Anyway, I'll drop it.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: That I'll stop talking about this.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: I'm still eating food.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: What is your current food obsession?
- 31:03SPEAKER_03: Um, see, I have to switch things out all the time because I get bored.
- 31:07SPEAKER_03: Like I cannot eat the same thing over and over again.
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: No.
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: Although I will say, okay, so I guess this could count as a food obsession because I've had it for at least 10 days straight.
- 31:17SPEAKER_03: But it's not like a meal.
- 31:19SPEAKER_03: It's like my dessert at night.
- 31:22SPEAKER_03: So this sounds stupid because y'all are gonna roll your eyes and be like, oh my God, and that's not even that doesn't even sound good, but it's so good, you just have to trust me.
- 31:31SPEAKER_03: Is you get frozen, they have to be frozen blueberries.
- 31:34SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 31:35SPEAKER_03: So you get frozen blueberries, and then you either let them thaw on the counter for like not that long, like 15, 20 minutes, to where they get like a little juicy, but they're still kind of frozen.
- 31:47SPEAKER_03: And then you put there's this brand of Greek yogurt called Estee.
- 31:52SPEAKER_03: You're already, you're already out.
- 31:55SPEAKER_03: Have you ever had Greek yogurt that was not Cho Bonnie?
- 31:58SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 31:58SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 31:59SPEAKER_03: Well, I thought I didn't like Greek yogurt either, but I had never had Greek yogurt other than like the Cho Bonnie brand.
- 32:05SPEAKER_03: Sorry to Cho Bonnie.
- 32:07SPEAKER_03: I don't even know.
- 32:07SPEAKER_03: Like I hate Cho Bonnie.
- 32:11SPEAKER_03: Cho Bonnie yogurt.
- 32:12SPEAKER_03: I hate Cho Bonnie yogurt.
- 32:14SPEAKER_03: I think it's disgusting.
- 32:15SPEAKER_03: I think it's too thick.
- 32:17SPEAKER_03: All the I just I have a lot of opinions about it.
- 32:21SPEAKER_03: But the S D, it's E S T I.
- 32:24SPEAKER_03: That brand of yogurt, I get the honey vanilla and I put I wasn't measuring it at first, which fun fact, I found out that it's like 330 calories for a cup.
- 32:36SPEAKER_03: Why it's so good.
- 32:38SPEAKER_03: I literally thought it was like 150 calories.
- 32:42SPEAKER_03: I don't know what I was thinking.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: 95% sugar and 5% yogurt.
- 32:46SPEAKER_03: Well, any that's why it's my dessert.
- 32:48SPEAKER_03: So I get the blueberries, then you put the yogurt on top.
- 32:51SPEAKER_03: I do like half a cup, so it's like 150 calories, but who's counting at this point?
- 32:56SPEAKER_03: And then it's it has to be the honey vanilla though.
- 32:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 32:59SPEAKER_03: That flavor.
- 33:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:00SPEAKER_03: And then you drizzle real honey on the top.
- 33:04SPEAKER_03: Because I love sweet.
- 33:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:05SPEAKER_03: I love all things sugar, which is a problem.
- 33:09SPEAKER_03: But that is my dessert, and I've had it every day for like two weeks.
- 33:12SPEAKER_03: Oh wow.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so that's I'm currently obsessed.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: That's the Greek yogurt.
- 33:18SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I bet you would like it because you can't really tell that it's Greek yogurt.
- 33:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, you don't.
- 33:23SPEAKER_01: It's not about that taste.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:26SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:26SPEAKER_03: It's not something that I've ever like enjoyed eating.
- 33:29SPEAKER_03: I would eat it sometimes, but like I've thoroughly enjoyed this.
- 33:33SPEAKER_01: That's good.
- 33:34SPEAKER_03: So that's my obsession currently.
- 33:36SPEAKER_03: But my meals, I have to, I can't eat the same thing like two times in a row.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: Unless it was um Eddie B's.
- 33:44SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh, I love some Eddie B's.
- 33:47SPEAKER_01: Luxury.
- 33:48SPEAKER_03: I wonder, I wonder, do they have Eddie B's everywhere?
- 33:51SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 33:51SPEAKER_01: I know they have it in Orlando.
- 33:53SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 33:53SPEAKER_01: Don't have it back home.
- 33:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: We too poor for that.
- 33:56SPEAKER_03: Oh, stop.
- 33:57SPEAKER_03: Yeah, Eddie V's is so good.
- 33:59SPEAKER_03: It is a good restaurant.
- 34:01SPEAKER_01: I celebrated my 25th birthday there.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: I don't know if I told you that.
- 34:04SPEAKER_03: Oh, really?
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: Orlando.
- 34:05SPEAKER_03: It's so good.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: 25 years.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: 25.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: So long ago.
- 34:09SPEAKER_03: About 20 years ago.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: Oh, geez.
- 34:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 34:13SPEAKER_01: No bounds.
- 34:14SPEAKER_01: 15 years coming up.
- 34:16SPEAKER_01: Oh gosh.
- 34:18SPEAKER_01: Let's see.
- 34:19SPEAKER_01: What would another one be?
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 34:23SPEAKER_01: How about this one?
- 34:25SPEAKER_01: At this point in your life, what does making it actually look like to you?
- 34:29SPEAKER_03: Oh.
- 34:30SPEAKER_03: Your questions are so deep.
- 34:33SPEAKER_01: So two.
- 34:34SPEAKER_03: Oh my goodness.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: Um, what is making it actually look like to me?
- 34:38SPEAKER_03: I think.
- 34:41SPEAKER_03: I think what I'm finding to be really important to me now is time.
- 34:50SPEAKER_03: Like making it to me looks like having the luxury of time and being able to pick and choose what I do and what I don't do anymore, or what I focus my time on.
- 35:04SPEAKER_03: And I'm talking just in my personal life, like what I focus my time on versus what maybe I outsource or like I I don't have to focus my time on.
- 35:14SPEAKER_03: Um I think yeah, you only have a limited amount of time.
- 35:19SPEAKER_03: So to me, if you can choose and you have the choice to spend it doing the things that you love or with the people that you love, that's a luxury.
- 35:28SPEAKER_03: And that's like what making it would look like.
- 35:31unknown: I like it.
- 35:32SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 35:32SPEAKER_03: What about you?
- 35:34SPEAKER_03: Oh God.
- 35:35SPEAKER_00: You're not ready for this one.
- 35:36SPEAKER_03: Oh God.
- 35:37SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 35:37SPEAKER_03: I'm already sweating.
- 35:38SPEAKER_03: You're giving me anxiety.
- 35:40SPEAKER_01: Growing up, I've always said, uh, I don't know, it's the question set at this point in your life, but um, I always said when I had a separate tub and shower, that's what I knew making it would be like.
- 35:54SPEAKER_03: Yeah, for sure.
- 35:55SPEAKER_03: I think like if you grew up without like money.
- 35:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, mom and dad always mom and dad had it, but we always had one, like yeah.
- 36:02SPEAKER_01: My brother and I shared one.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: That was both shower and tub.
- 36:06SPEAKER_03: So I love that.
- 36:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:09SPEAKER_01: Every apartment I've had's never had a separate tub.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: Really?
- 36:12SPEAKER_01: Well, mine one in Greenville did.
- 36:14SPEAKER_01: I was like, huh.
- 36:15unknown: I've made it.
- 36:15SPEAKER_03: I've made it.
- 36:16SPEAKER_03: I've made it.
- 36:17SPEAKER_03: This is yeah, I think when I was little, it was like getting out of the mobile home park.
- 36:22SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 36:22SPEAKER_03: Like not living in a trailer.
- 36:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:24SPEAKER_03: Like uh I grew up in a trailer, um, very, very not like poverty level poor, but we were definitely like we did not have extra money.
- 36:34SPEAKER_03: We were struggling for sure.
- 36:36SPEAKER_03: And I remember buying our first house, my first house when I was like 20, uh, it was right before we got married.
- 36:44SPEAKER_03: Brandon and I were 23.
- 36:49SPEAKER_03: And we bought our first home, and it was it was like a, you know, it was a real, not that a mobile home isn't real, but you know, it was it had a foundation and it was, you know, a stone house.
- 36:59SPEAKER_03: And I just remember like just questioning if this was even my life because it was just something that I always thought like, if I make it in life, I'm gonna have a a house on a foundation.
- 37:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 37:11SPEAKER_03: And it's crazy how you evolve into like other things, but yeah, I can see that for sure.
- 37:15SPEAKER_03: The definitely.
- 37:16SPEAKER_01: I've uh I've never owned a home, so I think that's why I still like in my grasp of things.
- 37:23SPEAKER_03: You have plenty of time.
- 37:24SPEAKER_01: Well, I've moved around so much, and like I being single, I you know, I I think it's different once you're married and everything.
- 37:31SPEAKER_01: You have like a foundation, but no, yeah.
- 37:35SPEAKER_03: It's yeah, it's good.
- 37:36SPEAKER_01: I love my single shower right now, though.
- 37:38SPEAKER_03: I know.
- 37:39SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 37:40SPEAKER_03: That's why you were so excited about that.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: It was, yes.
- 37:43SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 37:45SPEAKER_03: All right, what's your let's see?
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: How many more do you think?
- 37:48SPEAKER_03: Maybe like two more questions each.
- 37:51SPEAKER_03: Hopefully, I don't know how we need to freaking have a timer.
- 37:55SPEAKER_03: We keep forgetting to have a timer.
- 37:56SPEAKER_03: Sorry if we're going long.
- 37:57SPEAKER_03: We love talking about it.
- 37:58SPEAKER_03: This is fun.
- 37:59SPEAKER_03: Um okay, I'll do a simple one.
- 38:01SPEAKER_03: Would you rather stay in or go out?
- 38:03SPEAKER_01: Hmm.
- 38:05SPEAKER_01: Ooh.
- 38:07SPEAKER_01: I think it would depend on the company.
- 38:09SPEAKER_01: I do I love going out and just hanging out with people.
- 38:12SPEAKER_01: You do love going out, yeah.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Um, if I don't have anybody to hang out with, I probably stay in.
- 38:18SPEAKER_03: But if you're like with friends, you want to go out.
- 38:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: Although I do like in, you know, having people over and just chilling at home too.
- 38:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: But I think for a majority it'd be go out.
- 38:29SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 38:29SPEAKER_01: What about you?
- 38:30SPEAKER_03: Oh, stay in all day long.
- 38:32SPEAKER_03: All day, every day, all night, all the time.
- 38:37SPEAKER_03: I mean, I do get like, see, I'm not that fun, guys.
- 38:41SPEAKER_03: But I I do get like, you know, if I've stayed in for a while, then I'm like, okay, it would be nice to go out with friends or like go out, you know, on a date with my husband or whatever.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: But on, you know, if you catch me on like an average day, I would rather be at home or at one of my friend's houses hanging out at home, having some drinks or, you know, whatever, having some food, not having to worry about like, is the restaurant too loud?
- 39:07SPEAKER_03: Am I gonna be able to hear?
- 39:09SPEAKER_03: I hate that.
- 39:10SPEAKER_01: What do I have to look like?
- 39:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like can I just wear you know, leggings and sweatpants?
- 39:17SPEAKER_03: But um, or my favorite thing to do with my husband, I always tell him because he's like the opposite of me.
- 39:22SPEAKER_03: He likes to go out.
- 39:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 39:24SPEAKER_03: He likes to go out for lunch, he likes to go uh, you know, take me wherever.
- 39:28SPEAKER_03: He just wants to get out of the house and I always want to stay in.
- 39:31SPEAKER_03: And so we kind of try to balance it, but I'll go and I'll get snacks.
- 39:37SPEAKER_03: My favorite thing to do.
- 39:38SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you know what time it is, it's my favorite thing to do.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: And we eat snacks and we watch shows together, and that's like my favorite thing to do.
- 39:46SPEAKER_03: I love that.
- 39:47SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I'm just simple.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: I might be a diva, but I'm also just a simple girl.
- 39:52SPEAKER_01: Simple diva.
- 39:52SPEAKER_03: Mm-hmm.
- 39:53SPEAKER_03: A simple diva.
- 39:54SPEAKER_01: Every man's dream.
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: Give me good snacks, a nice couch to sit on, and a good show, a murder show.
- 40:00SPEAKER_01: True crime, day after day.
- 40:02SPEAKER_01: Yep.
- 40:03SPEAKER_01: All right, my last one.
- 40:05SPEAKER_01: Let's see.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: Um, if you could spend the day with someone dead or alive, who would it be?
- 40:12SPEAKER_03: The day.
- 40:13SPEAKER_03: Oh my gosh.
- 40:14SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 40:17SPEAKER_03: Okay, but somebody that like, so dead or alive that you don't like someone either that you have never hung out with or like.
- 40:25SPEAKER_01: Anybody.
- 40:27SPEAKER_03: Hmm.
- 40:29SPEAKER_03: I think I would spend my uh if I really thought about this question, I feel like I would have like so many more answers.
- 40:39SPEAKER_03: But just off the top of my head, I think I would spend my day with my great-grandmother, Martha.
- 40:49SPEAKER_03: Martha.
- 40:50SPEAKER_03: Yes, and I would love to hear about her life because she um escaped the Holocaust.
- 40:56SPEAKER_02: Wow.
- 40:57SPEAKER_03: So I am 40% Ashkenazi Jew.
- 41:00SPEAKER_03: Oh wow.
- 41:01SPEAKER_03: And so um, yeah, she escaped the Holocaust.
- 41:05SPEAKER_03: Um, she was born in Austria, lived in Austria, and then while she was pregnant with my grandfather, she um had him in Paris as she was escaping, and then she made her way to Mexico, where she raised my grandfather in Mexico City.
- 41:22SPEAKER_03: Um but yeah, I would just love to hear about her life.
- 41:24SPEAKER_01: I'm sure she has some stories traveling and escaping.
- 41:29SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 41:29SPEAKER_03: It's crazy.
- 41:30SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's pretty wild.
- 41:32SPEAKER_01: Did she live in Mexico City for the remainder of her life?
- 41:35SPEAKER_03: Well, so my grandfather went to school in in Mexico, um, grew up Catholic because she was so scared to like say that she had any Jewish background.
- 41:46SPEAKER_03: Um, so she raised him Catholic, and then he got accepted into medical school, and he went to medical school in Mexico, and then he moved to New York to practice uh psychiatry, and she ended up moving with him.
- 42:01SPEAKER_03: So then she kind of lived with him until she passed away in the States.
- 42:06SPEAKER_03: But yeah.
- 42:07SPEAKER_01: I bet she does have some good stories to tell.
- 42:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 42:10SPEAKER_03: What about you?
- 42:13SPEAKER_01: I'm sure we all know it.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: Um I actually, you know, I've got to see her, but never got to spend the day with her.
- 42:21SPEAKER_01: I would uh be our recently uh deceased Dolly Parton.
- 42:26SPEAKER_02: Oh yes.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: She was just the my I role model and just everything that I aspire to be.
- 42:35SPEAKER_01: Um I would just like to sit down and just hear her stories, yeah, you know, of her traveling all over the world and um what it was like growing up in the backwoods of Tennessee to then, you know, be a multimillionaire, probably possibly a billionaire, you know, had she not given it all away.
- 42:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, she's just an incredible person.
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you know, we all had the mindset like Dolly Parton, then I think it the world would be a much better place.
- 43:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 43:03SPEAKER_03: And you you're so you do have that mindset which I admire about you.
- 43:07SPEAKER_03: I try.
- 43:08SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 43:08SPEAKER_01: I definitely try.
- 43:09SPEAKER_01: She's she gives back, and there there's so many places in my life that I could give back a little more, but as long as you're trying.
- 43:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, as long as you try.
- 43:18SPEAKER_03: I feel like we could all give back more than we do.
- 43:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I'll have to take you to Dollywood someday.
- 43:24SPEAKER_03: You yes.
- 43:25SPEAKER_03: See, I didn't I I know, you know, obviously I know who Dolly Parton is, and like I know kind of what she was involved in, like the charities and all of that.
- 43:35SPEAKER_03: But I yeah, you'll have to tell me more about her because I never like deep dived into it or knew, you know.
- 43:41SPEAKER_01: There's so much to do.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: If you uh if you aren't signed up for the imagination library, like that's to in my opinion, it's one of the best like gifts you can give.
- 43:54SPEAKER_02: Really?
- 43:55SPEAKER_02: Okay.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: Um it's free, and uh they'll send you a book from the time you sign up.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: To the time uh the kid is uh in fifth grade.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: As long as it's like in the area, like um different counties have to have their own imagination library, okay.
- 44:11SPEAKER_01: Um is my understanding.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: I'm not an expert in it, but yeah, I signed my nieces up and uh my oldest niece, she just started kindergarten, so she received her last book, and the first book and last book are always the same, and then they rotate year after year for five years, so you don't get the same book.
- 44:27SPEAKER_01: Wow, that's really cool.
- 44:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but the first book is the little engine that cut, and I was able to read that to her, and then the last book's like a book about going to kindergarten.
- 44:35SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, that's awesome and amazing, amazing things.
- 44:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll have to look into that.
- 44:41SPEAKER_03: I didn't even know that that was a thing.
- 44:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's yeah, it's it's she's just done so much, and you know, that's what she's really passionate about.
- 44:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, uh dad couldn't read.
- 44:50SPEAKER_01: So that's why she started the Imagination Library.
- 44:53SPEAKER_03: That's so awesome.
- 44:54SPEAKER_01: Rags the Riches.
- 44:55SPEAKER_03: Rest in peace, Dolly.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: We love her, yeah.
- 44:58SPEAKER_01: She's a little angel.
- 45:00SPEAKER_03: You would have been her bestie.
- 45:01SPEAKER_03: I would for sure.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: I should have become her bodyguard or something.
- 45:05SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you really should have.
- 45:07SPEAKER_03: And then she would have just adopted you and that was that was the point.
- 45:10SPEAKER_01: She would have loved you.
- 45:11SPEAKER_01: That was the goal.
- 45:13SPEAKER_01: But maybe one day.
- 45:14SPEAKER_03: Till next time, Dolly.
- 45:15SPEAKER_03: Till next time.
- 45:17SPEAKER_03: Um okay.
- 45:18SPEAKER_03: Is this our last question?
- 45:21SPEAKER_03: Wait, mine is the very last one, or are you gonna go again?
- 45:25SPEAKER_03: Okay, well, we'll you know which one I'm gonna ask about.
- 45:29SPEAKER_03: So we we put notes that way we could like print out our note cards.
- 45:33SPEAKER_03: So we kind of saw each other's questions, but you know, I don't know if you really thought about any of them.
- 45:39SPEAKER_03: How do you feel about the high rocks diarrhea gauge?
- 45:44SPEAKER_03: So if you don't know, if you're listening and you don't know, this girl competed in the Beijing um Hyrocks competition.
- 45:52SPEAKER_03: I forget her name.
- 45:53SPEAKER_03: If you just look up Hyrocks Diarrhea, you're gonna find it.
- 45:56SPEAKER_03: She shit herself during the competition and then did not stop.
- 46:01SPEAKER_03: At the beginning of the competition.
- 46:02SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 46:03SPEAKER_03: So what what do you think about that?
- 46:05SPEAKER_03: You know, I sent you the pictures.
- 46:07SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 46:08SPEAKER_01: I don't even know what to think, you know.
- 46:11SPEAKER_01: I I couldn't have kept going.
- 46:13SPEAKER_03: Like, do you think though that she should have stopped competing?
- 46:19SPEAKER_03: Or do you think that that was a show of true dedication and grit that she kept going?
- 46:25SPEAKER_03: No, I she stopped.
- 46:28SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 46:28SPEAKER_01: Your dream's over.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: Once that started pouring out, right?
- 46:32SPEAKER_01: You should have given up on that dream.
- 46:34SPEAKER_03: Like, yeah.
- 46:35SPEAKER_03: I'm I'm sorry, but we're mad at Sydney Sweeney for being hot and blonde.

- 46:42SPEAKER_03: Inside.
- 46:43SPEAKER_03: Inside on the equipment, leaving that for other competitors.
- 46:50SPEAKER_03: And the smell, can you imagine like fall?
- 46:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you're sweating, and then you smell diarrhea.
- 46:57SPEAKER_01: Maybe that was her tactic.
- 46:58SPEAKER_03: Maybe.
- 46:59SPEAKER_01: Maybe she was hoping everybody else would stop disgusting.
- 47:03SPEAKER_03: And then she posted about it and she was like, I don't remember what she said, but she essentially said, like, hey, a win is a win.
- 47:10SPEAKER_03: Like, I'm like, no, ma'am, no ma'am, I'm sorry.
- 47:14SPEAKER_03: Like, that's not that is a biohazard.
- 47:18SPEAKER_03: HIROC should have stopped that.
- 47:20SPEAKER_03: They stop people when they vomit, they don't let people continue if they're puking.
- 47:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, but but it's yeah, like that's not grit and determination.
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: I'm sorry.
- 47:30SPEAKER_03: If if I claimed grit and determination and I just decided during a meeting, a company meeting, to shit myself because I'm not leaving the meeting.
- 47:41SPEAKER_03: I'll quit right then and there.
- 47:43SPEAKER_03: Like, what?
- 47:45SPEAKER_03: Like, what is wrong with you?
- 47:47SPEAKER_03: Uh that's not normal.
- 47:49SPEAKER_03: No.
- 47:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, like, he she's mentally unwell.
