**NEW Info!** 🦍🦍 SILVER & Gold's BIG Story... (PRICE SMASH!) - Precious Metals News · SILVER / GOLD / $UFD: Surviving Global Economic Shifts | RONS BASEMENT

0:01
We have a massive big show today, a lot to cover
0:05
unprecedented times in the silver and gold markets.
0:09
We're going to talk about silver manipulation.
0:12
JP Morgan from the most unlikely source.
0:15
We're going to talk about $50 silver, but we'll also talk
0:20
about $450 silver. We got three real facts.
0:24
This is critical. These are real concrete facts
0:27
that tell us we are very, most likely very early in the silver
0:32
bull market. Hold on for that one.
0:35
And the biggest story of all, we're going to talk about the
0:38
Fed, this complicated smoke and mirrors situation that all of us
0:43
precious metals investors get hit with about the Fed interest
0:47
rates, inflation. I'm going to clear it all up for
0:49
you. I've got this.
0:51
We're going to learn together, but we're going to make sense of
0:54
the smoke and mirrors coming out of the Fed and most importantly,
0:58
what that means for silver and gold.
1:00
And of course, we're going to visit our favorite bullion
1:03
dealer coin shop in Singapore to see what's going on there.
1:06
Guys, we need to remember one thing we are living through
1:10
right now together. Unprecedented times, craziness,
1:15
chaos is going on in the world on almost every level.
1:19
We could spend the next 30 minutes talking about that, but
1:22
this is also one of the most unprecedented times for silver
1:27
and gold. But buckle up because we don't
1:30
know exactly what's going to happen in the short term.
1:33
There's a lot of short term noise that we're dealing with
1:37
right now. The important thing for us to
1:39
remember are the long term facts and in my opinion, undoubtedly
1:44
they are super supportive for the precious metals.
1:48
Before I go on too much longer, thank you.
1:51
Yes, you. Thank you for joining me down
1:53
here in the basement. Your time is valuable.
1:56
You are valuable. We are an awesome community of
1:59
basement dwellers. Thank you so much.
2:01
Please subscribe. Please give this video a thumbs
2:04
up. Please leave a comment so that
2:06
we can learn from you. Yeah, you don't have to agree
2:09
with me or anybody else. We can learn from each other.
2:12
Super chats and super thanks are always super appreciated but
2:17
never expected. Let's start with manipulation
2:20
and then we got a lot to work through guys, here we go.
2:23
And wait till you hear where this came from.
2:26
The most unlikely source is talking about silver being
2:30
rigged. Here's the proof Silver just
2:34
crashed 46.5%. Yeah we we know trillions got
2:39
wiped out and right at the bottom JP Morgan closed their
2:44
shorts. Perfect timing again.
2:47
Then he goes on wait till you hear who's saying this.
2:50
Then he goes on to say this, between 2008 and 2016, five
2:55
major banks got caught manipulating silver.
2:57
JP Morgan Scotia bank at HSBC, Deutsche Banky, our friends in
3:03
Germany, we're going to talk about Germany a little bit later
3:07
and an incredible fact that will make you feel real good about
3:10
what we're going through right now.
3:12
Morgan Stanley. These were criminal cases and
3:16
regulators were still handing out fines and convictions as
3:20
recently as 2025. Let's skip down here.
3:24
Here's there's the proof that he's giving us, OK, there's
3:28
where they kind of closed their silver short there, right?
3:32
And down here, you can see where the price is.
3:35
The reason why we want to listen to this guy, he's a crypto guy.
3:39
He's got like 150,000 followers. This is a crypto person who's
3:44
now digging into the silver situation, which only indicates
3:49
to me further proof that there's more people coming into the
3:52
world of silver. But wait, I think there's more
3:56
when we look at manipulation and our friends at our friends at
4:00
the JP Morgan, there's always more when it comes to JP Morgan.
4:05
Peter Spina, who's a super respected voice in the world of
4:11
of gold and silver. Sorry guys upstairs, Susie is
4:15
traveling right now, so I don't have her help.
4:18
I'm I'm making sure I got the right screen shared, which I do
4:21
You should be looking at Peter Spina right?
4:24
Who says just what yesterday? JP Morgan's actual silver
4:29
warehouse stocks are now down to about 44.5 million Troy oz,
4:36
another 4.5 million draw down last week.
4:40
That was after January 10th when he said JP Morgan's actual
4:44
silver warehouse stock stocks were down to around the 80
4:48
million Troy oz mark, Quite a bit different than the
4:51
183,000,000 they indicate that they have.
4:56
That comes from Ed Steer. OK, So oh, the other big key
5:01
thing that we want to talk about when it comes to this
5:05
manipulation, this was brought up to me by one of the more
5:10
insightful people in the precious metal sector.
5:13
It's important to remember that the, the people regulating the
5:17
COMEX, I guess after the great financial crisis, they put in a
5:21
bunch of like hardline regulators that were that we're
5:24
bringing these criminal cases against these banks.
5:27
All of them are gone from what this person told me, we're kind
5:31
of living in a situation which could be akin to the hen running
5:35
the box running the hen house, right?
5:39
Like there's regulators, but essentially the COMEX and the,
5:43
you know, the, the futures market, they're kind of just
5:46
doing well. There's not as as strict of,
5:49
over of oversight as we had in the past.
5:53
So I know it's crazy. I know we've been buffeted all
5:56
over the place guys, but but you know, long term, we're fine.
6:01
Now, this next one, take your blood pressure medicine.
6:04
We're going to talk about someone who's talking about the
6:07
possibility of $50 silver. But then we'll open the window
6:11
and let the sun come in and talk about $450 silver.
6:15
But this comes from NBA economics, OK?
6:21
Gets a lot of attention, he says.
6:24
The CME, the COMEX will take this opportunity to dump silver
6:31
into the 50s next week on the guise of oil going up.
6:36
They will be getting the price of silver as low as possible
6:40
before they cash settle. Force majeure 550 million ounces
6:46
of open interest in the next two weeks.
6:50
Now we're going to dig into this later.
6:52
The idea behind that is inflation mixed with interest
6:56
rates from the Fed. I'm going to make it real clear
6:58
you're going to learn something today and we're going to learn
7:01
on this together. And I even have a prop to share
7:04
with you. So I don't agree that we're
7:06
going to see if it. I would be absolutely
7:08
flabbergasted and shocked if we saw a $50 silver.
7:12
And hey, let's bring the sun out because it doesn't really matter
7:16
anyway because long term we like to look longer than the one
7:21
week, one week out time frame. Long term guys, we are good.
7:26
This was shared by traditional money, the gold to silver ratio.
7:29
If it were to be at 10 right now, we would have $450 silver.
7:35
Let that sink in. Even at today's gold price,
7:38
reversion to the historic 12:50 ratio drives silver to 450 an
7:45
ounce with gold set to climb substantially higher.
7:50
Think about that. That's a $4500 gold.
7:53
A lot of people think gold is going to go to 6008 thousand.
7:56
Silver's upside becomes truly explosive.
8:00
OK, And that was in reference to this from our friends at silver
8:03
mining, silver elephant mining, talking about the gold to
8:08
silver. Now something big to remember.
8:11
I know, right? I understand.
8:13
Even me, I'm like, oh, the gold to silver ratio, sure it'll get
8:17
to 10. The gold to silver ratio
8:19
historically has been at 10 many times even lower.
8:24
The only reason, don't get mad at me, OK?
8:27
But the only reason why in our heads, yeah, right, that we
8:30
think it can't happen is because of recency bias.
8:34
Because since we've been alive, the gold to silver ratio has
8:37
been what, 30 to 1? Maybe at the lowest, 40 to one,
8:41
it was as high as 100 to 1. So we here guy, look, we're
8:45
talking about markets that have been around for thousands of
8:49
years. The US dollar in the, in the
8:54
Federal Reserve and the COMEX and the LBMA, they've been
8:58
around for hundreds of years, 50 years, whatever it is, gold and
9:02
silver had been around for thousands of years in long term
9:07
history. When you're talking about any
9:09
asset class in any relationship between asset classes, when
9:14
we're going to look at data, people always want to look at
9:16
long term data. Don't they go to talk to any
9:19
financial though? We got to look at the long term
9:22
data unless we're talking about gold and silver.
9:25
In that case, Oh, they're, they're barbarous relics.
9:28
They're worth nothing, right. We were hearing that up to three
9:31
years ago. It's OK for us to look at the
9:34
long term data. So while that NBA guy says we
9:37
could, sorry Susie, I got her covered up because she's gone
9:41
today, an NBA guy says we could get the $50 silver.
9:44
We know the reality that we could also get the 400.
9:47
I look, I speak my truth, OK? I'm not a financial planner,
9:52
don't make any financial decisions based on what I'm
9:55
saying. But I absolutely believe
9:58
wholeheartedly that in my lifetime, I'll see $450 silver,
10:03
I'll see 600. I, it could literally go to the
10:06
moon because of the degradation. That's what all this volatility
10:10
going on, all the smart, the hardest people, Michael Oliver,
10:14
all, I mean, all of them are saying the same thing, right?
10:18
Long term, short term noise. Now long term, the dollar's
10:22
cooked. Unfortunately, I hate to have to
10:24
say that, but that's the way that it is.
10:27
Next up, we're going to look at 03.
10:30
This is interesting and there's all these arguments, right, and
10:33
I make them myself, of why silver can is undervalued, why
10:37
it can go higher. We're going to look at 3
10:39
concrete real reasons why from investing.com.
10:43
Before we do that, thank you to 1st Mint.
10:47
If you want to get your hands on some silver of at these what
10:51
some people would say are bargain prices, do yourself a
10:53
favor check out First Mint. They are a silver exclusive mint
10:58
based in the United States, Las Vegas, NV.
11:01
They get their silver from First Majestic.
11:03
Literally right. The silver goes from the mine to
11:07
the mint to you. There's no comex, no LBMA, no
11:12
paper, no nothing involved. It's the freshest silver on the
11:16
market. It's beautiful.
11:18
You guys. I, I even this morning I, I got
11:21
was looking at some messages that you're sending me have been
11:23
so happy with first mint. It's a real honor to have them
11:27
as a sponsor. And here you go Hold on.
11:30
Let's go back right now. They have a special going there.
11:36
We go $2 off silver cast bars. There's their Year of the Horse
11:40
coin. Here is their Buffalo round,
11:44
which you know, is one of my favorites.
11:46
And they've got a Las Vegas round, all kinds of great stuff.
11:49
Free shipping on orders over $299.
11:53
And there is a special discount code for you here.
11:56
Let me draw it on the screen. OK, VIPR B, you'll get a
12:09
discount if you use that at your checkout.
12:11
I also want to say thank you to channel sponsor First Mining
12:15
Gold. And then we're going to get back
12:17
to some crazy information about gold and silver guys.
12:20
But First Mining Gold is a development stage gold mining
12:23
company with two major projects in Canada, Spring Pole in
12:28
Ontario and Duparque located in Quebec.
12:32
You can go out here to their website First Mining Gold to
12:35
learn more about their company. And look, there's a lot of
12:40
reasons why we love silver and gold, but with silver in
12:44
particular, there's, I mean, it is the most undervalued asset in
12:47
the history of the world. Some people say, right, But
12:51
here's three very interesting, concrete, right, provable
12:56
reasons why silver is, is set for what we believe to be much,
13:01
much higher prices. This comes from investing.com.
13:05
It's a big long article, but I got the summation for you and
13:09
then we're going to go back and learn about something very
13:11
interesting. 3 structural forces.
13:15
Hold on, I almost forgot to share it.
13:18
Now we are on investing.com when Susie's gone.
13:22
We do the best we can, guys. 3 structural forces are tightening
13:26
the noose around silver's supply, demand, balance and none
13:31
of them can be resolved with short term price movements.
13:36
OK, three things that cannot be fixed.
13:40
India's Sebi, which is their Securities and Exchange Board,
13:44
something we're going to, I'm going to show you this in one
13:46
second. Reform opens an institutional
13:50
challenge channel into a nearly one trillion asset base in 19
13:55
days. Actually, it's like 14 days.
13:57
Those articles a few days old. This is, and we're gonna just
14:01
bear with me, but literally trillion, trillions of dollars
14:06
and a big portion of that is now going to be able to buy silver.
14:10
We're going to dig into that a little more in a second.
14:12
Secondly, the mining industry cannot respond to price signals
14:17
because of geological constraints, all declining ore
14:20
grades and a 15.7 year development timeline.
14:25
OK, That is critical to understand guys.
14:28
The mining sector cannot just start making more silver, right?
14:32
The amount of silver coming out of the ground from mines has
14:35
been stagnant or slightly declining for the last, I don't
14:39
know what, 10 years at this point, and there just aren't any
14:43
big discoveries being made or development projects for new
14:48
minds right now. That is a fact.
14:50
Okay, the third fact and the macroeconomic backdrop has
14:54
shifted from risk of stagflation to stagflation is here with oil
15:00
above $100, the economy losing jobs, and the Fed unable to act
15:06
in either direction. We're going to, I'm going to
15:08
teach you something about the smoke and mirror situation with
15:11
the Fed here in a little bit that is fundamental for all of
15:14
us gold and silver investors to completely understand.
15:18
It says in blue these aren't speculative forces.
15:22
India Sebi reform has a specific date and it's coming up very
15:26
soon. The ore grade data is geological
15:29
fact, right? All the easy silver has already
15:33
been found. That was like 700 years ago.
15:36
The February jobs report is published by the Bureau of Lies
15:40
and Statistics. So it's over.
15:43
It's overly generous. The supply deficit is in its
15:48
sixth consecutive year and mining constraints don't ease
15:51
because silver went from 30 to $84.
15:55
They get worse because the easy or was extracted years ago.
16:01
These are concrete facts, but let's just briefly dig into
16:05
what's going on with India cuz this could be a massive wave of
16:10
new money. Hold on, this is a big long
16:12
article. You can get it at investing.com.
16:16
Hold on, there it is. Quick, I'll read through this
16:18
quickly. On February 26th, India's
16:21
Security and Exchange Board announced reforms permitting
16:25
mutual funds to allocate up to 35% of assets to non core
16:30
holdings, including gold and silver ETFs.
16:33
But it gets even better, right? Because they booted the LBMA.
16:37
Hold on one second. A separate Sebi circular on
16:40
valuation methodology takes effect on April 1st.
16:44
Right now guys only like 9 days away, mandating that Indian ETF
16:51
use domestic exchange published spot prices rather than the LDMA
16:57
international benchmarks. The practical consequence,
17:01
Indian mutual funds net asset values will reflect local demand
17:06
conditions where silver typically trades at a premium to
17:11
London. So not only, not only are they
17:16
going to open up these trillion dollars worth of, of, of, of
17:20
funds to be able to invest a what, 35% portion into silver
17:25
and gold ETFs, but they told the LBMA, hey, it's been nice living
17:29
on Fantasy Island with you where you set the price of physical
17:33
gold and silver. We're going to use our own
17:36
benchmarks now, and they're very similar to what we see at the
17:39
Shanghai Gold Exchange, in the Shanghai Futures Exchange,
17:43
always much higher. Think about what's going on
17:47
right now. It is absolutely, absolutely
17:50
crazy, guys. OK, now let's move on with the
17:54
Fed. All this noise out there,
17:57
everybody says, oh, gold's going to go down because the Fed has
18:01
to raise rates. I'm going to show you right now
18:03
in no uncertain terms why it's all smoke and mirrors, OK?
18:08
And what really matters, and this is critical for all of us
18:13
in the precious metals world to completely understand what did I
18:17
do? Hold on, Hold on.
18:19
Here it is, OK. It's the relationship.
18:24
It doesn't matter what interest rates are at by the Fed.
18:28
It's the relationship between inflation and the interest
18:33
rates. So in this hand, right, I have
18:35
inflation. In this hand, I have interest
18:38
rates right now, for example, we're going to say they're both
18:42
around 3%, which according to the government they are OK.
18:46
So they're kind of in balance. Everybody wants interest rates
18:51
to go down, right? Oh, if the Fed cuts rates and
18:55
Trump wants lower rates, that's going to be good for gold and
18:58
silver, right? Oh, that's what if, you know, we
19:01
need them to cut rates, that's good for gold and silver.
19:04
Why is that? Because when that happens,
19:06
right, interest rates are lower. So people are making less money
19:12
on their on their fixed income type investments.
19:14
But inflation remains up here, right?
19:18
So inflation is greater than the interest rate.
19:21
It's called negative real interest rates.
19:23
So, so now what? We're in the situation with gold
19:26
and silver. Everybody's worried about the
19:29
Fed hold on a minute. Raising interest rates, right?
19:34
And that's going to be bad for gold and silver bad, right?
19:37
Well, not necessarily, because remember, what matters is this
19:41
gap, right? When, when interest rates are
19:44
lower than inflation, sorry, what I see on the screens
19:48
backward to what I'm looking at. When interest rates are lower
19:51
than inflation, OK, that creates negative real interest rates.
19:56
All right, Now, as as interest rates go up, let's say they
20:00
raise rates. Oh, that's got to be bad.
20:02
That's got to be bad. No, because what could easily
20:05
happen is inflation goes even higher.
20:08
Let's say they were at 3% inflation and 3% interest rates
20:13
and they raise interest rates to 4%.
20:16
Oh my gosh. OK, well, that's bad for gold
20:20
and silver until you factor in that inflation.
20:23
Oh, you can't even see inflation goes all the way up to 8%.
20:27
Right. And so then we're again, we're
20:29
in a situation with negative real interest rates.
20:31
The amount of interest that people are earning on their
20:34
money is more than eaten away by the inflation rate, right?
20:39
You subtract inflation from the interest rate to get the real
20:43
interest rate. So everybody's so focused on the
20:46
Fed's going to cut rates, the Fed's going to raise rates,
20:48
whatever. What really matters is that
20:50
relationship between inflation and the prevailing interest
20:55
rate. I hope that makes sense.
20:57
It's really can be a little confusing.
20:59
I understand, right? But it but if you if you take a
21:02
step back, wait a day, watch this again, it, it, it's true
21:07
and it makes perfect, perfect sense.
21:09
OK, guys, let's move on here. All this craziness going on.
21:14
Let's get some more commentary to what's happening in the
21:18
market. Chris Martenson.
21:20
We are in unprecedented times right now with what's happening
21:24
in the overall general markets. Here we go, he says.
21:28
Let's be clear. Everything is plummeting more or
21:32
less equally. That points to a liquidity
21:34
crisis, which points to a leveraged position scrambling
21:39
for dollars, not because that's the right thing to do, but
21:42
because that's what contracts require.
21:45
Here's a clue from yesterday, right?
21:47
Gold, silver, platinum, Palladium, copper, everything is
21:51
getting smashed, even bonds. U.S.
21:54
Treasury bond prices are getting smashed.
21:56
And interest rates are continuing to go up in this
22:00
volatility. This, this is, this is, as we
22:07
all know, things. You know, volatility is no fun
22:11
to deal with. But Luke Roman brings this up,
22:14
right? Gold falls to under $4500, set
22:17
for its biggest weekly fall since 1983.
22:21
So that's getting all kinds of attention out there.
22:24
Hold on, Let me look at you when I say this.
22:26
That's getting massive attention, right?
22:28
Oh, gold had its worst week in 43 years.
22:31
Oh, my gosh, the sky is falling. And yes, it's horrible.
22:34
Yes, it's no fun, no doubt about it.
22:36
But if we look at this crazy volatility that we're
22:40
experiencing through the lens of history, we see something very,
22:44
very interesting, as he points out in this post, right?
22:48
Gold volatility in U.S. dollar. U.S. dollar is doing what gold
22:52
volatility volatility did in 1920 Weimar German Reichmarks,
22:59
which makes perfect sense once you understand our present
23:02
context, right? This is is what happened and
23:06
we've looked at this chart before.
23:08
This is a chart which the black line, OK, hold on here.
23:15
There we go. The black line shows the gold
23:18
price, which you can see just went pretty steadily up, up, up,
23:22
up and skyrocketed in Weimar Germany.
23:26
The red line shows the percentage change in gold price
23:32
on a monthly basis. And as you can see, right, while
23:36
the while the black line, the actual price of gold over that
23:40
period went steadily up, the volatility level on a monthly
23:46
basis was extreme. OK, Now look, I'm not calling
23:51
for the for the fact that I want to see Americans walking around
23:55
with wheelbarrows full of U.S. dollars to buy themselves some
23:59
cash. Hold on one second here.
24:01
Hopefully you guys can still see me.
24:06
Hold on. We might be having some tech
24:08
issues. Nope.
24:10
OK, we are OK. I think we're back.
24:12
All right. But this volatility within the
24:15
context of of a currency that's going through a rough period is
24:19
not out of the question, right? Crazy, crazy price moves all
24:24
over the place. OK, here's more.
24:26
We got some fun some and then we're going to go to Singapore
24:29
and do a check on what's happening at our favorite
24:32
bullion dealer. Make Gold great again.
24:36
This isn't the biggest silver panic sell off of all time, OK?
24:41
It's the mother of all short covers.
24:44
So Make Gold Great Again is constantly giving us with kind
24:47
of a humorous look at what's happening out there.
24:50
And with all this crazy volatility going on in the
24:54
silver and gold markets, I wonder if people in Asia are
24:58
still buying gold and silver. Let's go to the Bullion Star who
25:02
shares this. They're a big bullion dealer in
25:05
Singapore. Gold and silver prices dip and
25:09
demand at our bullion center has not slowed down.
25:13
We are seeing 2 buyers for every seller, meaning more
25:17
accumulation than liquidation. Physical buyers are using this
25:22
dip as an opportunity to buy more.
25:26
Let's pause this. It's only 20 seconds long.
25:29
Let's see what a a big bullion dealer looks like in Singapore
25:34
right now. Looks like a lot of people.
25:58
I think it's safe to say that there's still robust demand for
26:02
silver and gold in Asia. It's going to be crazy
26:05
interesting tonight. It's about noon central time on
26:08
Sunday to see what happens when the physical markets open around
26:12
5:00. No matter what, keep your keep
26:15
your eye on the long term of fundamental reasons why we love
26:22
gold and silver. Yes, you know, their short term
26:25
manipulation, JP Morgan, whatever, you know, speculation
26:29
that that's going on when even the crypto people are bringing
26:32
it up. And the biggest long term factor
26:35
that we know will support the value of silver and gold is the
26:39
unfortunate reality that the US dollar will continue to lose
26:44
value. OK, mathematically, it's
26:46
impossible at this point without, without our government
26:51
putting us through a major depression, right?
26:54
The only the only options they have left are for devaluation of
26:59
the paper currency. And this has happened time and
27:02
it's unfortunate. I love my country.
27:05
I'm so sad the president, Richard Nixon temporarily took
27:08
us off the gold standard in 1971.
27:11
But the facts are what the facts are in every Fiat currency in
27:15
the history of the world has unfortunately suffered with the
27:19
same fate. It winds up getting printed into
27:21
eternity. And when we look at the US debt
27:23
clock and see that we now have over $39 trillion in debt,
27:29
right? And we're running interest
27:30
expense of a trillion per year. We're only bringing in five
27:34
trillion. I mean, the, the it's you don't
27:36
have to be an MIT math major to realize that that's an
27:41
inevitable consequence that the that the value of the dollar
27:46
will continue to go down. The facts in my opinion, are are
27:52
really cannot be disputed that we're sitting pretty.
