- 0:08Speaker 1: Advice Shot. Welcome to the Naughty but Night Show. I'm
- 0:16Speaker 1: your host, Rob Shooter. It is Tuesday, which means only
- 0:18Speaker 1: one thing around here. It means Delayne and Dixon ms
- 0:20Speaker 1: D is here ms D. Hello, Good morning, Mr Shooter.
- 0:24Speaker 1: You're looking so good. You've lost so much weight. You
- 0:28Speaker 1: look fantastic. Thank you, thank you. I've lost about sixty pounds.
- 0:32Speaker 1: I know I should be honest about this. I didn't
- 0:35Speaker 1: go into this to lose weight. I was overweight, but
- 0:38Speaker 1: I didn't want to necessarily lose a lot of weight.
- 0:41Speaker 1: I just wanted something to do during the pandemic. I'm
- 0:44Speaker 1: in New York City and we're all locked up in
- 0:46Speaker 1: our apartments. There's been several spikes here, so pretty much
- 0:49Speaker 1: the city is shut down. So Delna. Every day I
- 0:51Speaker 1: decided to go for a walk, and that walk got
- 0:55Speaker 1: longer and longer and actually more enjoyable each day. And
- 0:58Speaker 1: now after six months of just walking, I swear this
- 1:01Speaker 1: is the secret. Don't tell anybody, you know, tell everybody.
- 1:05Speaker 1: The secret is just getting off the couch for me.
- 1:08Speaker 1: Oh absolutely, you got to get in some movement, especially
- 1:11Speaker 1: now when we're all stuck in still because of the pandemic.
- 1:14Speaker 1: So Um, you know what, I can't wait to go
- 1:16Speaker 1: from my walk after this podcast or the little trick,
- 1:20Speaker 1: mistery and everybody listening make it really enjoyable. So I
- 1:24Speaker 1: used to love when I was young listening to show
- 1:26Speaker 1: tune albums. We couldn't afford to go to the theater,
- 1:28Speaker 1: but I loved it. So what I do on my
- 1:30Speaker 1: walk now is I get my little life phone and
- 1:32Speaker 1: I listened to a cast album. The King and I
- 1:35Speaker 1: are one of your favorite shows. And before you know,
- 1:37Speaker 1: it's an hour's up and you've listened to a most
- 1:40Speaker 1: beautiful show and you don't even know. You're working out
- 1:43Speaker 1: a little trick. If you like pop songs, listen to those,
- 1:46Speaker 1: distract yourself for an hour of thirty minutes. I promise
- 1:49Speaker 1: you'll use a little bit of weight. Hey, what time
- 1:51Speaker 1: is it, mistery? It is tea time, So we all
- 1:55Speaker 1: screen tea time when it is time to gossip about celebrities,
- 1:59Speaker 1: which we do every hour, maybe several times throughout our
- 2:03Speaker 1: big exclusive Misty. At the top of the show, Laurie
- 2:06Speaker 1: Laughlin's daughter, Olivia Jade, is now looking out for her
- 2:10Speaker 1: own career, not her mom's. Let me explain, So she
- 2:14Speaker 1: sat down today. It's happening right as we speak. She
- 2:17Speaker 1: sat down and did her first interview. She broke her
- 2:20Speaker 1: silence on the college admission scandal. She did it while
- 2:25Speaker 1: her mom and dad were still in jail. Sources tell
- 2:28Speaker 1: me there was actually a conversation about the entire family
- 2:32Speaker 1: doing an interview as a group in the new year
- 2:35Speaker 1: after mom and dad are let out of the slammer.
- 2:38Speaker 1: I mean, you can't say that very often. So mom
- 2:40Speaker 1: and dad are in jail, they should be at Mom
- 2:43Speaker 1: should be at by Christmas. Dad a few months later,
- 2:45Speaker 1: and then the whole family was going to sit down.
- 2:47Speaker 1: I'm told they've been offered a primetime special on ABC
- 2:51Speaker 1: and NBC to interview the whole family together. Olivia didn't
- 2:56Speaker 1: want to do that. She wanted to do her own interview,
- 2:59Speaker 1: tell her her own story. Also too, we should remind
- 3:02Speaker 1: everybody that she's an online influencer. She has over a
- 3:07Speaker 1: million followers, so she didn't want to do a network show.
- 3:11Speaker 1: She wanted to speak to her audience, which is online,
- 3:14Speaker 1: which is why she did the Red Table Talk. It's
- 3:17Speaker 1: an online show on Facebook. So now she's looking out
- 3:20Speaker 1: for herself well, as we all know, Red Table Talks
- 3:24Speaker 1: is where celebrities now go when they have a personal crisis,
- 3:27Speaker 1: and Jada has made it a really safe space. I mean,
- 3:30Speaker 1: she spoke about her own affair with august Assina, you know,
- 3:33Speaker 1: with her own husband Will, So celebrities feel really comfortable
- 3:37Speaker 1: going there. And I definitely think Olivia is thinking about
- 3:41Speaker 1: her bottom financial line. She lost so many sponsors from
- 3:46Speaker 1: her online social media platform, she lost Amazon, she lost LULUs,
- 3:51Speaker 1: So I think she's trying to kind of make amends
- 3:53Speaker 1: so she can go back to that world when she's ready. Obviously,
- 3:57Speaker 1: the family is going to think, I have to think
- 3:58Speaker 1: about where are they making their money from UM? And
- 4:01Speaker 1: she's an adult now, so she needs to make her
- 4:03Speaker 1: own financial world. So I think this is kind of
- 4:06Speaker 1: the start of that startup. Slow say, you know, I
- 4:09Speaker 1: think it was wrong. We've heard that's one of the
- 4:11Speaker 1: things that she's going to talk about and start kind
- 4:15Speaker 1: of waning her feed back into that world of having sponsorship.
- 4:19Speaker 1: You're absolutely right about Jada Pinkett. She really has created
- 4:22Speaker 1: this safe environment. It will get millions of it. Potentially,
- 4:26Speaker 1: they could get more views online than sitting down doing
- 4:29Speaker 1: a big network show. Obviously, everybody wants their side of
- 4:32Speaker 1: the story. It is curious though, that she didn't wait.
- 4:36Speaker 1: There's no rush to tell this side of the story.
- 4:38Speaker 1: She could have waited until January, until mommy was out
- 4:41Speaker 1: of jail. They could have done this together, but she
- 4:43Speaker 1: decided to do it now by herself, which brings us
- 4:47Speaker 1: to our whole question of the day. Laurie Laughlin's daughter,
- 4:50Speaker 1: Olivia Jade, is looking out for her own career, not
- 4:54Speaker 1: her mom's career, her own. Is this a good idea
- 4:58Speaker 1: or a bad idea? Wow? A little traversial there. Go
- 5:01Speaker 1: to a Twitter page at Naughty Nice Robin. Vote at
- 5:04Speaker 1: Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. You can leave a comment
- 5:07Speaker 1: there and Missure had to check back tomorrow to hear
- 5:10Speaker 1: your results. MS. Do you love? What are you working
- 5:12Speaker 1: on that? Well? Rob, I have a little bit of
- 5:15Speaker 1: sad news. So Wendy Williams, her mother is Shirley Williams,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and we have just found out that her mother passed away.
- 5:22Speaker 1: She announced it. Wendy announced it on her show on Monday,
- 5:25Speaker 1: and she said, my mother actually passed away many many,
- 5:29Speaker 1: many weeks ago, and she passed away beautifully and peacefully. Now,
- 5:35Speaker 1: Miss Shirley, she was a regular presence on The Wendy
- 5:38Speaker 1: Williams Show over the past twelve seasons. You know, she
- 5:42Speaker 1: never wanted to be like a celebrity mom who took
- 5:45Speaker 1: a lot of TV time, But we did fall in
- 5:47Speaker 1: love with this school teacher. She was retired every time
- 5:51Speaker 1: we saw her on the show, with her endearing personality
- 5:54Speaker 1: and of course her mommy's sense of humor. Now, in
- 5:57Speaker 1: two thousand and ten, Miss Shirley at Slee said on
- 6:00Speaker 1: The Wendy Williams Show that Wendy was her ray of
- 6:04Speaker 1: sunshine because Wendy was born just a few months before
- 6:08Speaker 1: Miss Shirley lost her own mother to call in cancer.
- 6:12Speaker 1: So our hearts, our prayers are condolences go out to
- 6:15Speaker 1: Wendy Williams and Rob. I've been thinking this may explain
- 6:19Speaker 1: why we've seen a more somber Wendy on the show
- 6:22Speaker 1: over the past few weeks. What do you think? Yeah,
- 6:25Speaker 1: I find the story so so beautiful. I met Shirley
- 6:29Speaker 1: once when I was a guest on the show. She
- 6:30Speaker 1: was backstage. It was just very brief and she was adorable,
- 6:33Speaker 1: just absolutely everything you want your mom to be. So excited,
- 6:37Speaker 1: so proud of Wendy. Wendy is a ray of Sunshine.
- 6:40Speaker 1: I've got to say, you've been on the show, mister,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I have. There's something very very special about Wendy. She
- 6:45Speaker 1: just lights up a room, and so I totally understand
- 6:49Speaker 1: what Shirley had to say about her daughter. What I
- 6:51Speaker 1: find curious about this is Wendy kept the secret for
- 6:55Speaker 1: a couple of weeks. Obviously, it's her secret. She doesn't
- 6:57Speaker 1: have to tell anybody what she doesn't want them to know.
- 7:00Speaker 1: But I think I would have told my audience. Goodness knows.
- 7:03Speaker 1: We don't have the size audience that Wendy does, but
- 7:06Speaker 1: we love our audience, and I think part of the
- 7:08Speaker 1: success of this show is how honest we are each
- 7:11Speaker 1: and every day. If something happened to my mom, if
- 7:13Speaker 1: my mom and dad, god forbid, passed away, I would
- 7:16Speaker 1: share that with you. I don't think I couldn't share it.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Put it like that, I'm not sure I could do
- 7:21Speaker 1: a show each day like Wendy. She does an hour.
- 7:23Speaker 1: We only do about twenty minutes. But I'm not sure
- 7:25Speaker 1: I could get through a whole hour and keep that secret.
- 7:28Speaker 1: What about you, Mr, You're a lot more private than
- 7:31Speaker 1: I am. No, I totally understand. Um, I lost my
- 7:34Speaker 1: grandmother three years ago, and we found out in the
- 7:37Speaker 1: middle of the night, and actually it was we didn't
- 7:40Speaker 1: rush to Facebook to announce it UM. We actually waited
- 7:43Speaker 1: because we wanted to, you know, deal with our family first.
- 7:46Speaker 1: We wanted to make sure that all the pertinent people
- 7:49Speaker 1: knew UM, and then we announced it later in the day.
- 7:52Speaker 1: So I think she just needed time to process going
- 7:56Speaker 1: through the loss of her mother on her own. You know,
- 7:58Speaker 1: people would have reached out, would have sent gifts to
- 8:01Speaker 1: her and things, and she probably just didn't need that
- 8:03Speaker 1: at that moment. She just needed time to deal with
- 8:06Speaker 1: it on her own, and when she was ready, she
- 8:08Speaker 1: announced it. And I respect that I do too. And
- 8:10Speaker 1: there's no timetable on this. There's no right or wrong.
- 8:12Speaker 1: You do what's right for you, Wendy, your family. We
- 8:15Speaker 1: are sending our love. Ellen has just bought a massive
- 8:19Speaker 1: new compound. So Ellen has put down forty nine million
- 8:23Speaker 1: dollars on a new compound. I know in Santa Barbara,
- 8:26Speaker 1: one of the most valuable homes ever in the neighborhood.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Now Ellen, I did not know this, but Ellen has
- 8:30Speaker 1: a long history of flipping houses. She could literally be
- 8:34Speaker 1: on HG TV. So in two thousand and six, she
- 8:37Speaker 1: bought a house for fifteen million, flipped it for twenty
- 8:39Speaker 1: Nice work if you can get it. Later, she bought
- 8:42Speaker 1: a house for twenty eight million, flipped it for thirty
- 8:44Speaker 1: four So she's got a history of this. When I
- 8:46Speaker 1: used to work for Jessica Simpson, Jessica bought Ellen's house.
- 8:50Speaker 1: It was beautiful. One of the reasons that I think
- 8:52Speaker 1: Jessica loved the house is not only was the house wonderful,
- 8:54Speaker 1: but Ellen's skill and decorating taste is impeccable. Don't have
- 9:00Speaker 1: to do anything, although when you paid that much money,
- 9:02Speaker 1: I would expect to do nothing but bring my toothbrush.
- 9:05Speaker 1: So now this is one of the most most expensive
- 9:08Speaker 1: purchases in Santa Barbara history, just behind Oprah who paid
- 9:12Speaker 1: fifty million. And interestingly, it's just down the road from
- 9:16Speaker 1: Harry and Megan. Says she'll be neighbors with Harry and Megan.
- 9:21Speaker 1: Do you think, though, Misty, with everything going on with Ellen,
- 9:23Speaker 1: with all the bad press or the toxic allegations, is
- 9:27Speaker 1: now not the right time for her to be spending
- 9:31Speaker 1: this much money. Yeah? I thought about that. I was like, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 1: maybe it's not in the right tists you know, people
- 9:37Speaker 1: are suffering and losing homes and losing jobs. However, she
- 9:41Speaker 1: didn't announce that she bought this house. It's just in
- 9:44Speaker 1: the media, so I'm she's putting it on, you know,
- 9:48Speaker 1: tiped up and look, she's been through a lot this year.
- 9:52Speaker 1: I think she just wants this fortress around her where
- 9:56Speaker 1: she feels safe and secure. And we all know that
- 10:00Speaker 1: when you're with a significant other during the middle of
- 10:02Speaker 1: the pandemic, you need as much room as you can
- 10:05Speaker 1: to make that relationship work. And they've got about what
- 10:08Speaker 1: four acres now, so it shouldn't be a problem. And
- 10:11Speaker 1: I like the way you snuck in that her new
- 10:14Speaker 1: neighbors are Prints Carry and Megan. I'm sure that is
- 10:18Speaker 1: very appealing as well. So yes, maybe a forty nine millions.
- 10:23Speaker 1: You know what, if I had it, I might do
- 10:25Speaker 1: the same thing. I being your guests. What's going on
- 10:28Speaker 1: with Blake and Gwen? We have some wedding news. What's
- 10:30Speaker 1: giving Oh my goodness this couple. First of all, they're
- 10:33Speaker 1: so adorable and guess what, they're ready to get married now.
- 10:40Speaker 1: So a source told people that they want to do
- 10:42Speaker 1: it sooner rather than later. They want to do it
- 10:44Speaker 1: as soon as possible. You know, there's not going to
- 10:47Speaker 1: be a long engagement. This is the reason why Blake proposed.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Now they want to get married, you know, and they
- 10:53Speaker 1: don't want a huge wedding. It's just gonna be some families,
- 10:56Speaker 1: some friends, me and you Rob. Now we're not guess.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So where do they want to get married? Well, the
- 11:04Speaker 1: news coming out of US Weekly is that they're going
- 11:07Speaker 1: to get married in Oklahoma on Blake's ranch that he's
- 11:10Speaker 1: built a little chapel. He had a little help, you know,
- 11:13Speaker 1: um when gave her input on how she wanted it
- 11:17Speaker 1: to look. And so that's where they want to get married.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Now we know they met in two thousand and fifteen
- 11:21Speaker 1: on the Boys. They were both coming out of previous marriages.
- 11:25Speaker 1: And here it's the cutest part. Blake actually asked her
- 11:29Speaker 1: boys for permission to marry their mom. It's so important.
- 11:34Speaker 1: So this couple, I just think they're so cute together.
- 11:37Speaker 1: I'm so glad they found love the second time around.
- 11:40Speaker 1: Hurry up to it, girl, Yeah, me too. I've met
- 11:42Speaker 1: both of them. There's something really sexy about him. I
- 11:45Speaker 1: was on the Today Show and he was actually interviewing me.
- 11:48Speaker 1: He was filling in for Cathee. It was very strange.
- 11:50Speaker 1: He was the host. There's something about a delane and
- 11:52Speaker 1: I never saw it on TV until I saw him
- 11:55Speaker 1: in person. I didn't get the attraction of Blake Shelton.
- 11:58Speaker 1: I think he was one of people's sexiest and live ones,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and I didn't get it until I met him. So
- 12:03Speaker 1: congratulations to you too. Hey, we have a little bit
- 12:05Speaker 1: of breaking news before we go to break. It's happening
- 12:08Speaker 1: right now. Howard Stern just announced on his radio show
- 12:12Speaker 1: that we have him for five more years. He signed
- 12:16Speaker 1: a deal to continue with his radio show for five
- 12:20Speaker 1: more years. What do you think about the breaking news?
- 12:22Speaker 1: There was some rumors mis steve that this was it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: His contract was up in a couple of weeks he
- 12:26Speaker 1: was going to walk away. They've thrown hundreds of millions
- 12:29Speaker 1: of dollars at him to stay. Well, the money definitely
- 12:33Speaker 1: doesn't hurt. I'm sure that's one of the incentives. But
- 12:36Speaker 1: you know what, I think talking to people is his
- 12:38Speaker 1: passion um interviewing people, giving his commentary, and I think
- 12:42Speaker 1: if he had a walked away, he would have lasted
- 12:45Speaker 1: about a year. You look at all these David Letterman,
- 12:48Speaker 1: all these Uncle John Stewart. They walk away for about
- 12:52Speaker 1: a year and then they realized, this is part of
- 12:54Speaker 1: my identity. So they come up with a new concept,
- 12:57Speaker 1: maybe something a little easier than doing everyday show because
- 13:00Speaker 1: it's just in their blood. So he kind of gotta
- 13:04Speaker 1: jump on it and said, let me do it for
- 13:05Speaker 1: another five years. I'm cool if he decides he only
- 13:08Speaker 1: wants to do it three days a week, so be
- 13:10Speaker 1: it's how he does what he wants, so be congratulations
- 13:14Speaker 1: Hayter all the Howard listeners. I'm sure you're thrilled. Today
- 13:18Speaker 1: they'll be celebrations about that. And also to let's quickly
- 13:21Speaker 1: shout out Charlemagne, the God who's a hero on I
- 13:24Speaker 1: Heart Radio. He's the host of the Breakfast Club. He's
- 13:27Speaker 1: announced to today that he's signed on to do that
- 13:30Speaker 1: show for another five years too. I love this. When
- 13:34Speaker 1: you listen to somebody every day or watch them on TV,
- 13:36Speaker 1: it's horrible when their shows go away. You really do
- 13:40Speaker 1: miss them. Ultimately, life goes on. But I'm so thrilled
- 13:43Speaker 1: for both of you. But I'm even more thrilled for
- 13:46Speaker 1: your listeners, your fans. I know how important it is
- 13:49Speaker 1: to get that voice every single day, that you love,
- 13:52Speaker 1: so congratulations all around. We're going to take a quick break,
- 13:55Speaker 1: misdy and work on our five year ideal. See if
- 13:58Speaker 1: we can get up a million, we will be all
- 14:02Speaker 1: right back. Welcome back to the Naughty but Nice Show.
- 14:08Speaker 1: I'm your host, Rob Shooter with Delna Dixon. Misty, let's
- 14:11Speaker 1: get to the polls. Thank you very much. Yesterday we
- 14:16Speaker 1: talked about Prince William will not skip. Will not skip
- 14:19Speaker 1: to the front of the line to get the COVID
- 14:21Speaker 1: nineteen vaccine in Britain. It started today. The first lady
- 14:26Speaker 1: to get the vaccine outside of a clinical setting was
- 14:29Speaker 1: a ninety year old lady. God bless you. He's not
- 14:32Speaker 1: going to skip the line. Is he an essential worker? Yes?
- 14:36Speaker 1: Or no? Said Noah. Being a future king of Prince
- 14:40Speaker 1: of England does not make you an essential worker. Do
- 14:44Speaker 1: you think, Misty, this is the right decision. Well, as
- 14:46Speaker 1: we all found out a while back, Prince William has
- 14:49Speaker 1: actually had COVID nineteen, so he does have some antibodies
- 14:53Speaker 1: in his system, so he can kind of probably wait
- 14:56Speaker 1: it out a little bit. Um. Yeah, I think he
- 14:59Speaker 1: always wants to seem as like the prince and the
- 15:01Speaker 1: future King of the people, and skipping the line and
- 15:05Speaker 1: going to the front of the line to get the
- 15:07Speaker 1: vaccine just doesn't go with that kind of concept. So
- 15:12Speaker 1: you know, I'm sure he'll be towards the front of
- 15:14Speaker 1: the line. If he's not at the front of the line,
- 15:17Speaker 1: you know, not first, but a third. I'm working on
- 15:21Speaker 1: this amazing story that in Hollywood the actual thing to
- 15:24Speaker 1: happen at the moment is not a new ferrari or
- 15:27Speaker 1: a burgen bag or something something that's very, very expensive.
- 15:31Speaker 1: It's the vaccine. I'm told by sources in Hollywood that
- 15:34Speaker 1: lots of celebrities are trying to get this vaccine early
- 15:37Speaker 1: guys when it is available in America, and hopefully it
- 15:40Speaker 1: is so, and I think that would be a huge
- 15:43Speaker 1: mistake if people have privilege and power of money get
- 15:46Speaker 1: it first. Just saying, okay, don't forget to vote on
- 15:49Speaker 1: today's poll. You can go to a Twitter page at
- 15:52Speaker 1: Naughty Nice rab Our. Facebook page is Naughty Gossip. I'm
- 15:55Speaker 1: sure to check back tomorrow to hear your results. And
- 15:59Speaker 1: now it's time for a nice night of the day. Well,
- 16:06Speaker 1: you know, I've become the biggest justin bieber fan. I'm
- 16:10Speaker 1: right up there with the believers. So I've got some
- 16:14Speaker 1: really good news for you guys. He will be back
- 16:16Speaker 1: on stage after a three year absence. He is making
- 16:20Speaker 1: a special holiday concert this year. So the twenty six
- 16:24Speaker 1: year old Holy singer announced the big news that he's
- 16:27Speaker 1: teaming up with T Mobile for a special New Year's
- 16:30Speaker 1: Eve concert see T Mobile. Customers will have free access
- 16:35Speaker 1: to the live stream concert through the T Mobile app. Oh,
- 16:40Speaker 1: I think I might have to be switching so I
- 16:43Speaker 1: can see that concert, because he sounds so good when
- 16:46Speaker 1: he sings love. It is so good, it is so
- 16:50Speaker 1: good and nicest of the day and north Ester to day, Northy, Northy, Northy.
- 16:54Speaker 1: We need to find William and kaita new train. So
- 16:56Speaker 1: the Royal couple is on tour in Britain that going
- 17:00Speaker 1: to make multiple stops to thank the essential workers for
- 17:03Speaker 1: all their services. They're hard work throughout the country. So
- 17:06Speaker 1: they're on the Royal train going up and down Britain. However,
- 17:10Speaker 1: the train and only has his and her single beds.
- 17:13Speaker 1: There's not a double bed on the tray, and so
- 17:15Speaker 1: the couple is going to have to sleep separately for
- 17:18Speaker 1: the next couple of weeks. This train is magnificent. It
- 17:22Speaker 1: has a twelve seat dining room. It has massive amounts
- 17:25Speaker 1: of kitchens and chefs. They couldn't figure out a way
- 17:28Speaker 1: to get a double bed on this on this train,
- 17:31Speaker 1: and I don't know about this one in the in
- 17:34Speaker 1: the palace. They do sleep together, some couples, don't. They
- 17:37Speaker 1: do so for a couple of days, weeks, they're gonna
- 17:40Speaker 1: be by themselves. We've got to get this together. You're
- 17:43Speaker 1: a naughtiers of the day, and now it's time for
- 17:47Speaker 1: a moment of robb You get a Robbie. Get a Robbie,
- 17:50Speaker 1: get a roble You get rr very much. Find the
- 17:53Speaker 1: courage to know everything you can about yourself. Find the
- 17:57Speaker 1: courage to know every single detail yourself. True loves kiss
- 18:02Speaker 1: can only come from you. And once you've woken up
- 18:05Speaker 1: to the truth about who you are, well your dreams
- 18:08Speaker 1: will come true. It's about you. Well, I agree. One
- 18:13Speaker 1: of the things I had to learn about myself is
- 18:15Speaker 1: that I have a kind of a reserved personality. I
- 18:18Speaker 1: do like to plan things. I always say I can
- 18:21Speaker 1: be spontaneous as long as I know exactly what's going
- 18:24Speaker 1: to happen. Do you think it's because you like to
- 18:29Speaker 1: control the situation? Yeah, I think I like to be
- 18:32Speaker 1: a little bit in control. I just like to know
- 18:34Speaker 1: how I'm supposed to react to things. I think that's
- 18:36Speaker 1: more of it that I You know, I tend to
- 18:38Speaker 1: be on the defensive sometimes, so the more information that
- 18:41Speaker 1: I have, the more prepared I can be. The more
- 18:43Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I'm not in this situation and I
- 18:46Speaker 1: don't know how to respond. So I do tend to
- 18:48Speaker 1: plan things that uh, you know, and make sure that
- 18:51Speaker 1: I'm prepared, like I do when I when I do
- 18:53Speaker 1: your show Mystery, I'd like to come prepared. Accepting that
- 18:57Speaker 1: and realizing that is a part of my personality has
- 19:00Speaker 1: made life a lot easier and it's easier for me
- 19:03Speaker 1: to explain. When I'm making these lists of people, They're like,
- 19:05Speaker 1: what are you doing? I'm like, I just want to
- 19:07Speaker 1: make sure we have everything covered now we can have fun. Oh.
- 19:10Speaker 1: I agree. I don't think we should change who we are.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I think we should acknowledge who we are. Get to
- 19:14Speaker 1: know who you are. If you're more reserved, then that's
- 19:18Speaker 1: who you are, and learn how to love your life
- 19:20Speaker 1: being a reserved person. If you're more of an extrovert,
- 19:23Speaker 1: then that's who you are and learn to lean into that.
- 19:26Speaker 1: I don't think we should try to change who we are.
- 19:29Speaker 1: I think we should acknowledge, deep down, deep down in
- 19:32Speaker 1: our soul, who we are, what our personalities are, and
- 19:35Speaker 1: see if we can figure out a way to use
- 19:38Speaker 1: that and connect it with the world that we want
- 19:40Speaker 1: to be part of. So, if you're more shymisty, which
- 19:43Speaker 1: I think you are, we've spoken about that, how do
- 19:47Speaker 1: you make sure you remain truthful to yourself but at
- 19:49Speaker 1: the same time you don't miss incredible opportunities because of that. No, absolutely,
- 19:55Speaker 1: I think you have to. I've explained this before. You
- 19:58Speaker 1: make yourself a little pro and con us, and you
- 20:01Speaker 1: look at the pros. Sometimes you have to face your
- 20:04Speaker 1: fears and just say, you know, I may be shy
- 20:06Speaker 1: and reserved, but I don't want to miss out on opportunities.
- 20:09Speaker 1: And if you're prepared, um, then you can do it.
- 20:12Speaker 1: And I have to say, you know, we're in the
- 20:14Speaker 1: middle of a pandemic, and I think a lot of
- 20:17Speaker 1: fears had to be faced during this pandemic and a
- 20:20Speaker 1: lot of changes and a lot of changes are happening
- 20:22Speaker 1: in my life. And I'm just saying, you know what,
- 20:24Speaker 1: I'm going to go out on faith. I'm going to
- 20:26Speaker 1: jump in feet first and everything is going to work out. Okay,
- 20:31Speaker 1: keep telling yourself that, and you know what, probably will
- 20:34Speaker 1: a man. Thank you so much, miss d Thank you
