- 0:00Speaker 1: Previously on Relatables Baddies book Club. The sex that they
- 0:04Speaker 1: have that night is insane.
- 0:07Speaker 2: She talks about like she talks about it being like
- 0:10Speaker 2: a legit outer body experience and just like him going
- 0:13Speaker 2: inside a fucking up against the war bro and like
- 0:16Speaker 2: the pounding and then and then she's looking down and
- 0:19Speaker 2: he's like, oh, you like it when you like watching
- 0:21Speaker 2: me fuck you, do you?
- 0:22Speaker 1: And then they like.
- 0:23Speaker 2: Fully intertwined minds and she's watching him fuck her from
- 0:26Speaker 2: his eyes and shit, it's like crazy, bro.
- 0:29Speaker 3: To be fair, I've never thought of it, but like,
- 0:32Speaker 3: imagine you and your partner, like the first time you
- 0:34Speaker 3: both say you're ready to have a kid.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Then that first session, dude, yeah, he's like, shall we
- 0:38Speaker 1: start to know? Yeah?
- 0:39Speaker 3: And then he stopped to yeah, like unstoppable.
- 0:43Speaker 2: The thing though, is like, because welcome to Relatables Baddies
- 0:47Speaker 2: book Club, where we will embark on a journey reading
- 0:50Speaker 2: some of the finest pieces of literature you have ever
- 0:52Speaker 2: laid eyes or is if.
- 0:54Speaker 1: That's your preferred way to consume A book.
- 0:55Speaker 4: On a Court of Silk Flames Chapters one to ten,
- 1:05Speaker 4: the last One, Jake, the last book so far Frontier.
- 1:09Speaker 1: We know that there's a sixth sixth one coming out.
- 1:12Speaker 3: The last available one, I know, and then our journey
- 1:15Speaker 3: is ceasing.
- 1:16Speaker 1: Can I say I had?
- 1:19Speaker 2: Maybe it was a YouTube comment someone said, so they
- 1:24Speaker 2: wanted us to do something after having read one to
- 1:28Speaker 2: four because they said their their hot take is that
- 1:33Speaker 2: this so book one to four is like the main series,
- 1:37Speaker 2: and then from here on we go into different which
- 1:40Speaker 2: kind of makes sense.
- 1:41Speaker 1: It doesn't make sense so far.
- 1:42Speaker 2: So yeah, they wanted I might go find the comment.
- 1:44Speaker 2: They wanted us to do something based on book one
- 1:46Speaker 2: to four.
- 1:47Speaker 3: I'm god, I'm keen to play cards against Prithian again
- 1:49Speaker 3: now that we as soon.
- 1:50Speaker 1: As we're done this, we're playing that for hours.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:54Speaker 1: Oh, because there's no sprinklers anymore. I'm so excited. A
- 1:56Speaker 1: last time, it were a bit premature.
- 1:58Speaker 2: Yeah, we were like, oh fuck it, how do we
- 2:00Speaker 2: not think there was going to be spoilless?
- 2:03Speaker 3: But thoughts yeah, okay, thoughts mixed feelings so far. The
- 2:09Speaker 3: whole concept of the first ten chapters of Nesta being
- 2:13Speaker 3: a bitch and just hard.
- 2:15Speaker 1: To life, so hard why Me? Is really hard to read.
- 2:19Speaker 1: It's very jarring.
- 2:21Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm here, I'm like this isn't what I want.
- 2:23Speaker 1: To hear about. It's a jarring thing. I know it's
- 2:26Speaker 1: going to get good. Yeah, but I was thinking.
- 2:28Speaker 3: I was listening while walking on the beach yesterday to
- 2:31Speaker 3: get my chapters up, and I was just like, this
- 2:34Speaker 3: is kind of annoying, like actually physically annoying me.
- 2:36Speaker 1: How annoying she is?
- 2:37Speaker 2: Okay, I wanted to ask you, I haven't listened. I've
- 2:40Speaker 2: only read so it's written so in a chord of
- 2:45Speaker 2: Frost and Starlight. The chapters where it was Reese and
- 2:49Speaker 2: Farrah we really liked because they were from Reese and
- 2:53Speaker 2: Fara's first person perspective. But the chapters that were either
- 2:57Speaker 2: Cassian or More or anyone else, they were from a
- 3:00Speaker 2: third person's perspective. This whole book is a third person
- 3:04Speaker 2: that person's voice. So I wanted to ask, like, reading it,
- 3:08Speaker 2: I haven't minded, Like, I'm still like into it.
- 3:11Speaker 1: It's better because it stays the same. Yeah, it's consistent.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Yeah, it's consistent, but it is just some random person narrating.
- 3:17Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I very I really like it.
- 3:20Speaker 2: The books that were from Fara's perspective, and I wouldn't
- 3:23Speaker 2: have been upset if she did like Nestor's perspective and
- 3:29Speaker 2: then Cassian's perspective, and it wasn't narrated, but hey, it
- 3:35Speaker 2: is what it is. There's still a little bits of
- 3:36Speaker 2: Cassie in here and there, and yeah, they seem to
- 3:39Speaker 2: swap here and there. Yeah, but I don't know why
- 3:41Speaker 2: they did that. I mean, look, I'm not gonna plain.
- 3:45Speaker 2: I actually like it.
- 3:47Speaker 1: I kind of like it's a big book.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And obviously these first couple chapters are going to be
- 3:55Speaker 2: leading into something bigger. And I'm going to say right now,
- 3:59Speaker 2: I am happy.
- 4:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I can definitely feel it's building towards something. And
- 4:03Speaker 3: I know Sarah j. Mass effect is to start a
- 4:06Speaker 3: book boring, yeah, and then it gets really really Yeah
- 4:10Speaker 3: she's building it up, you can tell.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Yeah, which I'm here for. The only one that didn't
- 4:14Speaker 1: start boring was mister fury Well.
- 4:18Speaker 2: To be fair, I was I was gonna say a
- 4:21Speaker 2: quarter wings and ruin because because Pharaoh was pretending to
- 4:24Speaker 2: be back at the spring court, and then within the
- 4:27Speaker 2: first ten chapters, she fucking beheads beheads Brannagan dagged In
- 4:30Speaker 2: or whatever their names are was and we were like fuck.
- 4:35Speaker 3: But I still I think I'm having struggles getting around Nesta.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's my bigges struggles. Well, the fact that I don't
- 4:41Speaker 2: like Nesta. Yeah, and I just think it's so hard
- 4:43Speaker 2: to write a book where the main character is hated. Yeah,
- 4:48Speaker 2: you need to love the main character.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's what it is. Like they can
- 4:50Speaker 1: annoy you, but I hate it. Yeah, so what that's
- 4:53Speaker 1: what it is.
- 4:54Speaker 3: And that's why I'm thinking, like I'm just like, fuck
- 4:56Speaker 3: off everything she does every single time.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It's like there's a lot of justifications in here as
- 5:02Speaker 2: to why she's such a bitch, and.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I don't stand by anything. Every time I read something,
- 5:07Speaker 1: I just.
- 5:07Speaker 2: Think, oh, poor me, poor me.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Every single other person has dealt with it.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah, she had to go with Cassi in fucking deal
- 5:15Speaker 3: with it.
- 5:16Speaker 1: You know, you don't understand, you will never understand. I'm like, bitch,
- 5:19Speaker 1: she's a five hundred. Shut the fuck up.
- 5:24Speaker 2: So that's how we feel. But we will get into
- 5:27Speaker 2: the recap for everyone.
- 5:28Speaker 1: Yeah. Chapter one we open and it's Cassian.
- 5:35Speaker 2: He's going on about how he's this big brutish warrior
- 5:40Speaker 2: faced hundreds, slayed hundreds, and he's about.
- 5:45Speaker 1: To knock on Nessa's door and he's scared. I would
- 5:49Speaker 1: be too. Yeah, I would be too. He finally works
- 5:51Speaker 1: at the Courage.
- 5:52Speaker 2: She's still in that slummy apartment by the way, knock, knock, knock,
- 5:56Speaker 2: and she waddles out or whatever, and she's like, do
- 6:00Speaker 2: you know it's seven am, and he goes, yep, just
- 6:04Speaker 2: came to let you know that Reese and Farah have
- 6:07Speaker 2: summoned the Nesta archer on for breakfast. And she goes,
- 6:11Speaker 2: what the fuck what do they want? And he's like,
- 6:14Speaker 2: you could, by the way, you can tell the male
- 6:16Speaker 2: in there to stop climbing out the window because the
- 6:18Speaker 2: male just realized who he slept with and then realized
- 6:21Speaker 2: he was at the door, and he's like, fuck, I
- 6:22Speaker 2: don't want to get sucked up here. So he said
- 6:26Speaker 2: he's basically come to get Nesta and they are going
- 6:29Speaker 2: to go to recent Pharre's a new house. Oh yeah,
- 6:31Speaker 2: that has finished. Yes, it has been I think she
- 6:35Speaker 2: gives timelines. It's about nine months after solstice right now.
- 6:40Speaker 2: The quick way to build it out, yeah, very quick.
- 6:42Speaker 2: It's an estate. It's huge, better than a fairy magic mate,
- 6:47Speaker 2: so it's fairy builders. So she is some to the house,
- 6:51Speaker 2: goes there and it's in the office there's ree Amrin
- 6:58Speaker 2: Cassian and now obviously Nesta, and Nesta said has said
- 7:05Speaker 2: within this, you know first person or third person that
- 7:08Speaker 2: she has been the last nine months really just taking
- 7:12Speaker 2: the Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 5: Taking the Absolutely, she's just been spending the night courts
- 7:20Speaker 5: money or reason Far's money, I suppose, but she doesn't
- 7:23Speaker 5: give a ship and so and so the night prior
- 7:28Speaker 5: to this she has gone out and just spent it's five.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Hundred gold marks, which as a lot. And so when
- 7:36Speaker 2: Pharah finds out, she's like, I'm finished with this.
- 7:40Speaker 1: Bitch gets her in.
- 7:41Speaker 2: She's there at nine am and she's in there and
- 7:45Speaker 2: Farah just goes, I'm over it, all right, Nesta, you're
- 7:48Speaker 2: fucking done.
- 7:49Speaker 1: Do you feel I like this? I was very happy
- 7:51Speaker 1: with this. Yeah, you are finished. All right.
- 7:55Speaker 2: No more money, no more apartment. You're going to go
- 7:58Speaker 2: live at the House of wind and train with Cassian.
- 8:01Speaker 2: He's going to take you every morning over to wind Haven,
- 8:04Speaker 2: which is one of the Illyrian camps. It's Devon's camp,
- 8:06Speaker 2: and you're going to train and then in the afternoon
- 8:08Speaker 2: you're working for Clitho Clotho, the librarian Lapriss. You're gonna
- 8:14Speaker 2: work for her in the library, and Nessa's just like
- 8:19Speaker 2: just refusing an Amoran and Reese getting into her, and
- 8:23Speaker 2: Pharah is like, I told you too, if you want
- 8:25Speaker 2: to be here, you have to be quiet, and I
- 8:27Speaker 2: was like, hey, fair, shit fair, And so there Nessa's
- 8:32Speaker 2: obviously refusing, and then they they're arguing boot everyone out.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's just Nesta and Fharirr in the room, and She's
- 8:39Speaker 2: just says, the alternative is you go and like if
- 8:45Speaker 2: you want a place in this court, because she keeps
- 8:47Speaker 2: telling Reese like, you're not my eye lord and Pharaoh,
- 8:49Speaker 2: you're not my high lady. And she was like, well,
- 8:52Speaker 2: if youre spending out money, we are, yeah, fair, and
- 8:55Speaker 2: so she said the alternative to option one is you
- 8:57Speaker 2: go live in the human lands, which is worse because
- 9:00Speaker 2: they still hate fairies and she would have just been unwelcome.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Chapter two.
- 9:05Speaker 3: So I like the ultimatum there too, I was. So
- 9:08Speaker 3: I was like, yes, let's go one more.
- 9:12Speaker 2: One more thing was so she goes, am I a prisoner,
- 9:14Speaker 2: and she's like, Phaarah goes, no, you're not a prisoner.
- 9:16Speaker 2: You can come and go from the House of Wind
- 9:18Speaker 2: as you please, but you got to take the stairs.
- 9:20Speaker 2: You walk ten thousand stairs down to the city. Oh shit, okay,
- 9:26Speaker 2: now chapter two. Sorry guys, I did chapter one and
- 9:28Speaker 2: two just then chapter three. We open chapter three with
- 9:32Speaker 2: cassian is we we learned that he spent he has
- 9:37Speaker 2: spent like months and months fixing the descent in the
- 9:42Speaker 2: Allyrian camps and he has fixed it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: And one of the big things that fix it was
- 9:46Speaker 1: the right. The blood right is that what it's called.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Where it's the thing about they go around the mountain
- 9:50Speaker 2: and there was this one kid that was completing the
- 9:52Speaker 2: blood right that died, who was spreading a bunch of rumors.
- 9:55Speaker 2: So Cassie was like, and so Reese's doing a meeting
- 10:01Speaker 2: with Reese, and Reese goes, you know, this was a test,
- 10:04Speaker 2: you know, you fixing all the ollirium stuff like it
- 10:06Speaker 2: was a test, and Cassine goes, well, He's like, yeah,
- 10:09Speaker 2: you don't think you're just going to be my general forever.
- 10:12Speaker 2: And Cassine is kind of like, I want to be
- 10:13Speaker 2: That's all I want to do. And then Reese goes, no,
- 10:15Speaker 2: I've got I've got a job for you. Asriel is busy,
- 10:19Speaker 2: I need you to go investigate the human queens because
- 10:22Speaker 2: there is unsettling stuff going on.
- 10:26Speaker 1: And then.
- 10:29Speaker 2: From there we Nesta and Cassine have moved up to
- 10:33Speaker 2: the House of Wind and she's just been a bitch.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Of course, she won't eat, she won't fucking do anything.
- 10:39Speaker 2: She goes to a room and she just like sleeps.
- 10:43Speaker 2: Chapter four, Moore has returned from Valhylen, which is on
- 10:47Speaker 2: the continent because more remember she was tasked with now
- 10:50Speaker 2: being the one to give that like make the night
- 10:52Speaker 2: Court relations good with everyone.
- 10:55Speaker 1: That's what Reese tasked her with.
- 10:56Speaker 2: And so she was just spent like a week in
- 10:59Speaker 2: vahal And and she says that they refuse to sign
- 11:03Speaker 2: the new treaty that Reese, Amren and Fehr spent weeks writing,
- 11:08Speaker 2: and they refuse to sign it because they just maybe
- 11:12Speaker 2: lack of trust or something. She thinks that they want
- 11:15Speaker 2: to like they want another war to because there's no
- 11:19Speaker 2: more war the fairies they can fuck up the queens
- 11:23Speaker 2: or not the queen's but the humans in general. And
- 11:26Speaker 2: so there's all this talk about a lot of the
- 11:29Speaker 2: continent regions wanting to just go just take land.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Well, the humans benefit massively in the first war.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Yeah, because the war going up actually made the fairy
- 11:41Speaker 2: lands smaller. So a lot of people didn't I don't
- 11:44Speaker 2: want to say sacrifice, but they got lands taken. And
- 11:47Speaker 2: so they're all like, well, we want to back, and
- 11:48Speaker 2: they don't forget because they were alive during it. And
- 11:53Speaker 2: so Cassie and have now been tasked with because this
- 11:57Speaker 2: is more telling casting this, and so he's like, well,
- 12:00Speaker 2: Vasa is still like on that small sliver of human
- 12:03Speaker 2: lands in Perythian with Durian and Lucian. And he goes,
- 12:09Speaker 2: So Lucian is now the new emissary to the human lands.
- 12:13Speaker 2: We found that out last book. But Moore says, so,
- 12:17Speaker 2: he says we should talk to Lucian. Mores like, no, no,
- 12:19Speaker 2: he can't be trusted. He lives with them, he's friends
- 12:21Speaker 2: with them, he cannot be unbiased towards them. So he's
- 12:25Speaker 2: kind of like, fuck, that's so true. I'm gonna have to,
- 12:27Speaker 2: you know, try, I suppose. So he goes, I'll consult
- 12:32Speaker 2: with Vasa and see like if they are if the
- 12:35Speaker 2: queens are capable of.
- 12:36Speaker 1: Doing anything, And then we go to Nesta.
- 12:39Speaker 2: She's thinking back to something about her mother said about her,
- 12:42Speaker 2: like now that nest is alone in her house and
- 12:44Speaker 2: not drinking and shit, or in the hazard wind, she
- 12:47Speaker 2: is like thinking a lot.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like stuck with her thoughts.
- 12:50Speaker 2: She can't drown him out of flat liquor and dick
- 12:53Speaker 2: literally literally, so she starts thinking about like stuff her
- 12:58Speaker 2: mother has said to her, like her mum said, you
- 13:01Speaker 2: know that Nesta is a queen who will I don't know,
- 13:05Speaker 2: just do great things.
- 13:06Speaker 1: Then she remembers being I forgot about this.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Remember at the start of akatar Nessa was engaged to
- 13:11Speaker 2: this guy named Thomas or Thomas whose dad was a
- 13:15Speaker 2: woodcutter and that and his dad beat his mum and
- 13:19Speaker 2: Thomas knowingly just stood there and watched. And then Nesta,
- 13:22Speaker 2: when she called off that engagement, Thomas tried to like
- 13:27Speaker 2: take her fucking virginity.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Didn't We found that out. It was a secret.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Chapter of akamam Yea that was remember there was a
- 13:36Speaker 2: secret chapter yea, Yeah, completely forgotten and so she she
- 13:39Speaker 2: kind of recalls that and how she wishes that the
- 13:42Speaker 2: cauldron took that memory away, but it didn't. And again
- 13:45Speaker 2: through these chapters, people everyone but Nesta. So people are
- 13:48Speaker 2: questioning whether or not not Nesta's powers. Still she knows
- 13:51Speaker 2: she does, but she's been just like keeping them at bay,
- 13:54Speaker 2: like she's just trying to just like not have them
- 13:56Speaker 2: come out.
- 13:57Speaker 1: Yeah, she kind of hates me.
- 13:59Speaker 3: She hates me in faye, I would give anything favorite. Yeah,
- 14:05Speaker 3: I know immortality, these powers.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Yeah, the war's over. Like to be fair, she's fucking both.
- 14:14Speaker 2: But like she talks about having some like good dick,
- 14:18Speaker 2: but she still reason and then some experienced dick. Like
- 14:22Speaker 2: she talks about her experiences with just with the sex.
- 14:28Speaker 1: And all the while she does always ah, she she
- 14:33Speaker 1: will talk about Cassie in.
- 14:34Speaker 2: A lot in her in her head and she wants
- 14:38Speaker 2: to get railed by him.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I tell her what it was funny. I can't remember.
- 14:42Speaker 3: I think it was at the start of the book
- 14:43Speaker 3: when that guy was leaving and it was just like
- 14:46Speaker 3: some faith, even though being more immortal, still.
- 14:49Speaker 1: Haven't figured out how to have sex. Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 14:52Speaker 1: I still haven't figured it out. And then we also
- 14:55Speaker 1: find out that so Cassie.
- 14:57Speaker 2: And one of the times when she eating, she gets
- 15:02Speaker 2: up to leave and Cassie grabs her arm and he
- 15:06Speaker 2: is having an inner monologue moment after she's like gotten
- 15:09Speaker 2: away and gone left, He's like, ah, he goes, oh,
- 15:12Speaker 2: I really should have had sex with someone before this
- 15:14Speaker 2: because I am so attracted to her, I can't control myself,
- 15:19Speaker 2: He's like, And then he's like, when was the last
- 15:21Speaker 2: time I got lucky?
- 15:25Speaker 1: Two years ago?
- 15:26Speaker 2: He goes, when was the last time I actually released
- 15:28Speaker 2: apart from my hand? And then he's like, oh, it
- 15:31Speaker 2: was two years ago in that back alley behind readers
- 15:34Speaker 2: with some faie up against a wall, And I was like,
- 15:37Speaker 2: what the fuck.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I've found it weird that like phase jerk off. Yeah, dude.
- 15:44Speaker 2: Chapter five, Nesta is still refusing to eat, and Cassie's like, hey,
- 15:48Speaker 2: I eat or don't eat. All I'm telling you right
- 15:50Speaker 2: now is that you're gonna need that or else you're
- 15:52Speaker 2: not gonna be a stand after training. You know. The
- 15:54Speaker 2: next meal is after training, and then more winnows them
- 15:59Speaker 2: to the camp, the wind Haven Camp. One thing I
- 16:03Speaker 2: actually was gonna ask is how come uh, Cassie and
- 16:07Speaker 2: can't wino? Because fairies that can winnow are fairies that
- 16:13Speaker 2: are powerful. So the more powerful, the further you can winno.
- 16:16Speaker 2: So like Lucian he can winnow, a couple miles Farah
- 16:19Speaker 2: can winnow, I think pretty far. But Reese and more
- 16:22Speaker 2: they can win even Asrael can Wino like from the
- 16:25Speaker 2: night Court to the fucking Human Lands.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. Maybe it's to do with his
- 16:29Speaker 1: Hilary background.
- 16:30Speaker 2: Yeah, because it's weird because Asrael can Wino. Yeah, it's
- 16:32Speaker 2: it's just I was like confused. I was like, why
- 16:34Speaker 2: can't I mean it is just like your powers, I guess.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Yeah, he didn't get the winnowing be he's a beast.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it's weird, doesn't need it.
- 16:40Speaker 2: Yeah, So more winnows them to Devon's camp and he
- 16:44Speaker 2: comes over and he's like, what is this Is that
- 16:46Speaker 2: who I think it is? And Nestic goes, yeah, it's
- 16:47Speaker 2: the witch bitch because they think she's a witch, and
- 16:50Speaker 2: he's kind of like, get her the fuck out of
- 16:53Speaker 2: my camp fro.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Cassie goes, no, come on.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Just just let's don't worry about it. I'm here to trainer,
- 16:59Speaker 2: and he goes anything she touches bury it. Cassian's like that, no,
- 17:06Speaker 2: that's not gonna happen. Seriously, come on, let's just chill,
- 17:09Speaker 2: and he's like, fine, she could train here, but I'm
- 17:12Speaker 2: still burying whenever she touches.
- 17:17Speaker 1: I was like, hey, I didn't think that was soft
- 17:19Speaker 1: Field was funny. I was like, I was like, what
- 17:22Speaker 1: where did this come from? He hates women and witches,
- 17:25Speaker 1: especially to be fair. Is she a witch though? Who knows? No?
- 17:30Speaker 2: So they go to start training and she just sits down.
- 17:33Speaker 1: She's like, she's like.
- 17:34Speaker 2: Hey, I'll live at the fucking house and I'll come here,
- 17:37Speaker 2: but I ain't training And Cassian's trying to get her
- 17:39Speaker 2: a train and he gives us.
- 17:40Speaker 3: He's like a little tanger having a tantium all the time.
- 17:42Speaker 2: It's such an ick like because I'm now picturing her
- 17:46Speaker 2: as like super sexy because Cassie keeps saying that sexy
- 17:48Speaker 2: she is, I'm still not. Although right now she's mad skinny.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I still like the bitchiness of her like makes me.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Not attracted to her.
- 17:55Speaker 2: Yeah, also she's fake like, so she just sits down
- 18:02Speaker 2: and Farra goes into her head like, don't embarrass him
- 18:04Speaker 2: in front of these people?
- 18:05Speaker 1: Is it far I think so? Or was it Reese?
- 18:08Speaker 1: I think it was I only read it. I think
- 18:09Speaker 1: it was, yeah, so Farah.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Because she's Demati, she can talk to her sister through
- 18:14Speaker 2: like wherever she is. She's like, get up and train,
- 18:16Speaker 2: don't fucking embarrass him in front of these The camp lords,
- 18:21Speaker 2: she just doesn't get up whatever, and then casting his
- 18:24Speaker 2: trains on his own, she talks about how sexy is again,
- 18:27Speaker 2: how fluidous motions are He's born to do this.
- 18:29Speaker 3: At least we can see the bread coming here of course.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, at all.
- 18:34Speaker 2: No I started one single bit. So they leave, she
- 18:39Speaker 2: goes and she works for Clotho. I believe it's Clotho
- 18:42Speaker 2: and the Library and chapter six so More comes to
- 18:47Speaker 2: pick them up to win her them back. And before
- 18:49Speaker 2: they before casting finishes training, she's talking to Nesta and
- 18:53Speaker 2: she's like, honestly, my vote was to dump you in
- 18:55Speaker 2: the Human Lands.
- 18:56Speaker 1: I read the honesty.
- 18:58Speaker 2: I was like, hey, facts, honestly fact.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Then for yourself she could get fucked Broyeah.
- 19:03Speaker 2: And so the reason being that they're giving so putting
- 19:06Speaker 2: so much an effort into Nesta, though, is that they
- 19:09Speaker 2: are suspicious that she has hectic powers. Like hectic powers
- 19:12Speaker 2: because Reese says that he's scared.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Of her, don't want to make an enemy of.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Her, and so they don't want her to get in
- 19:17Speaker 2: the wrong hands, yeah, and become an enemy because she might.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Fox him shit up. True. So it's also just fucking
- 19:23Speaker 1: favoroite sister. Yeah, so fair.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Then she says that she doesn't deserve Cassine's patients because
- 19:30Speaker 2: he is patient with her facts.
- 19:32Speaker 3: So yeah, I feel like Cassine's wasting his time.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Mate, you have same, even if she.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Does fall in love with him, was it worth?
- 19:40Speaker 1: Are they still made? It? Is that still? I don't know?
- 19:43Speaker 2: They have to be anyways. Then down back at the house,
- 19:49Speaker 2: Nesta goes. Then she owes to the library and she's
- 19:53Speaker 2: down and she finishes her shift, goes back to have dinner.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Cassine's not there, so she's on her own, and all
- 19:59Speaker 2: that's there at the table is like the house's magic.
- 20:01Speaker 1: Ob we see. So the food just shows up.
- 20:04Speaker 2: It's just some chicken and stuff, and she's like says
- 20:07Speaker 2: to the house, She's like, have us some wine. The
- 20:09Speaker 2: house fills a cup up with water and she's like
- 20:11Speaker 2: ha ha, And so she's craving a drink and she
- 20:15Speaker 2: tries to go and to conquer the stairs and she okay,
- 20:24Speaker 2: but then like it stops there. Chapter seven we are
- 20:29Speaker 2: now remember she's trying to conquer the stairs as we're
- 20:31Speaker 2: doing this. Chapter seven, Casian goes to visit Vasa and
- 20:34Speaker 2: Jury and Lucian who called themselves the Band of Exiles
- 20:37Speaker 2: in the Human Lands, in some big house that was
- 20:39Speaker 2: given to them by I guess like Grayson's dad or
- 20:42Speaker 2: some shit. And he gets there, more windows him there
- 20:47Speaker 2: than she leaves straight away, and he walks in and
- 20:49Speaker 2: Lucian goes, oh shit, like he opens the door before
- 20:51Speaker 2: even knocks, and Lucian goes, I thought I heard someone
- 20:53Speaker 2: coming or felt someone coming, and Cassian's like yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 20:58Speaker 2: and Lucian goes, by the way, Airis is here, and
- 21:01Speaker 2: I was kind of like, let's go. I need something
- 21:03Speaker 2: happening and need something to happen.
- 21:06Speaker 1: They go in and Cassian's not much.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Of a ah what do they call it? So he's
- 21:13Speaker 2: a brute more and it's something to do with like casualties,
- 21:19Speaker 2: and Cassian sucks at it.
- 21:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember it's not.
- 21:22Speaker 2: Yeah, because Aris even says something to them like just
- 21:24Speaker 2: leave it till.
- 21:25Speaker 1: He's not a conversationalist.
- 21:27Speaker 2: No, it's around that realm and he's trying to think
- 21:30Speaker 2: like recent more yeah, but he can't.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, he's got too much emotion. It's a bit thick. Yeah,
- 21:34Speaker 1: he's got too much emotion. And he's good at what
- 21:37Speaker 1: he's good.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Yeah, but he goes in and he's chatting with them,
- 21:41Speaker 2: and they get onto the topic of the queen's and
- 21:48Speaker 2: he asks Vasa whether or not they'd be capable of things,
- 21:53Speaker 2: and once he brings it up, they go, oh, we
- 21:55Speaker 2: were actually just we're just getting to this topic before
- 21:57Speaker 2: you got here. That's why Airis is here. And Ris goes,
- 22:02Speaker 2: I had a group of some of my finest soldiers
- 22:07Speaker 2: just out on a scouting mission in our own lands,
- 22:11Speaker 2: Vanish and we have zero idea. The only thing we
- 22:18Speaker 2: caught was my hounds, and they caught the scent of
- 22:23Speaker 2: the humans. So that's why he came there first. And
- 22:29Speaker 2: we find out as well that the Autumn Court hounds
- 22:32Speaker 2: are like the absolute top tier no one that no
- 22:36Speaker 2: one's allowed to own one outside of your own court,
- 22:38Speaker 2: and they're also like one of the most expensive things
- 22:40Speaker 2: in Priythian and Eris has like twelve himself.
- 22:43Speaker 1: What were you picturing?
- 22:45Speaker 2: I was picturing like a wolf Ooh yeah, I.
- 22:48Speaker 3: Was thinking one of those, like even though it was
- 22:50Speaker 3: the Autumn Court, I was picturing of the dogs like
- 22:52Speaker 3: on sleds and shit, like those types.
- 22:58Speaker 2: To be fair, I should have been picturing like a
- 23:00Speaker 2: golden retrieve I feel like that, but they're not fight
- 23:05Speaker 2: Oh well, basically, yeah, they're beast and so he's like, yeah,
- 23:08Speaker 2: the only sent they got was that of the humans.
- 23:12Speaker 2: So they talk a bit and then Aris and Cassian
- 23:17Speaker 2: leave at the same time, and Aris comes over and
- 23:19Speaker 2: that's when he says, like, mate, you fucking sucked at that.
- 23:21Speaker 1: But hey, that's chat for a second. He goes.
- 23:24Speaker 2: He basically tells them he just came here to get
- 23:27Speaker 2: confirmation of what he thinks. So he knows that the
- 23:31Speaker 2: queens took his men, and he says to them, Ah,
- 23:36Speaker 2: he says to Cassian, my father just one month ago
- 23:44Speaker 2: went to the queens and has an alliance with them.
- 23:50Speaker 2: I can't quite remember what for, but something about overthrowing
- 23:53Speaker 2: something right. And so what has happened is the bone
- 24:01Speaker 2: Carver's brother that was bound to the lake, also the
- 24:06Speaker 2: one that has cursed Vasa is like this all powerful,
- 24:11Speaker 2: cannot die. The only thing holding Bay is the curse
- 24:15Speaker 2: that has held him bound him to the lake. He
- 24:18Speaker 2: is giving the Queen's power and so that's why they
- 24:21Speaker 2: could do this. And so the only reason he knows
- 24:25Speaker 2: this right is because the same smell that came back
- 24:28Speaker 2: with his dad was the smell that was left where
- 24:31Speaker 2: his men were taken. And so Airis is like stuck
- 24:34Speaker 2: between a rock and a hard place because he's got
- 24:36Speaker 2: a bargain with Reese and also he's like obviously bound
- 24:40Speaker 2: to his father, but his bargain with Reese is that
- 24:46Speaker 2: Priythian stays safe, and his father doesn't give a fuck
- 24:50Speaker 2: about that.
- 24:51Speaker 1: So Cassian's like, fucking oh, bro doesn't start, what do
- 24:55Speaker 1: you want to do with this information?
- 24:57Speaker 2: And as is like, right, you and me we talk often,
- 25:03Speaker 2: all right, you tell me what you know. I'll tell
- 25:05Speaker 2: you what I know. Okay, capeche, capeche.
- 25:08Speaker 1: He really wanted it that as real, didn't he? Yeah?
- 25:10Speaker 2: Yeah, because he says to Cassie at one point, he's like,
- 25:13Speaker 2: just get it, has real to do it, your shadows.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Singing to do it. And Casian's like no, no, no, no.
- 25:19Speaker 2: Chapter eight, Nesta is descending all right down the stairs
- 25:24Speaker 2: and she's like counting eighty seven eighty nine. She's going
- 25:28Speaker 2: down as well, by the way, eighty seven eighty nine,
- 25:31Speaker 2: and then she's like, oh my leg's they're wobbling. There's
- 25:33Speaker 2: not enough windows in this fucking stairwell, and it's like
- 25:36Speaker 2: a spiral staircase going down in the mountain and then out,
- 25:39Speaker 2: and she goes one hundred and.
- 25:40Speaker 1: Ten and then one hundred and eleven.
- 25:42Speaker 2: She like falls over it, nearly dies and falling down
- 25:46Speaker 2: the stairs and she gives up and she's like, fuck
- 25:49Speaker 2: damn it. It starts crawling back up the stairs. She
- 25:52Speaker 2: gets up and Cassian he's up there and he's mocking her.
- 25:57Speaker 2: He knew she went down because he saw the door
- 25:59Speaker 2: was open. And he's still there for a few minutes,
- 26:01Speaker 2: and she was like, man, fuck you. He's like, how
- 26:04Speaker 2: far did you get? And she goes one hundred and
- 26:06Speaker 2: eleven and he's like.
- 26:09Speaker 1: Of what a joe of ten thousand? And she goes
- 26:13Speaker 1: two hundred and twenty two if you can't go on
- 26:15Speaker 1: back up and.
- 26:15Speaker 2: He's like, still that's pitiful, pitiful wow.
- 26:23Speaker 1: And then.
- 26:26Speaker 2: So obviously reports back to Sorry casting, reports back to
- 26:29Speaker 2: reesa bad heiress. And then next morning, Nessa's at breakfast
- 26:35Speaker 2: and both Cassie and Asriel walk in and she's glaring
- 26:40Speaker 2: over and she says, like, I've always thought of Asruel
- 26:42Speaker 2: of them is the most handsome of the three. He
- 26:45Speaker 2: must be a bad boy, He must be a fucking baddie,
- 26:47Speaker 2: most pretty with her.
- 26:49Speaker 1: Yeah, he's the prettiest of the three.
- 26:50Speaker 2: Also, just to me, seems like the most dangerous.
- 26:53Speaker 3: Yeah, he's the most mysterious. Yes, I feel like that
- 26:56Speaker 3: makes him hotter.
- 26:56Speaker 1: Something about a mysterious man.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah, and so, and they talk about like the the
- 27:01Speaker 3: smoke coming out of him, and it's.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Like, yeah, he's always got shadows trailing him. It sounds
- 27:06Speaker 1: so sick. I have been told a lot that there
- 27:10Speaker 1: is an even better shadow Daddy in fourth Wing. Oh ship, Yeah, so.
- 27:17Speaker 2: Better than.
- 27:20Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 27:22Speaker 2: The thing I love about this one bit is they're
- 27:26Speaker 2: eating breakfast Asruel is obviously quiet, cassins there, and then
- 27:33Speaker 2: they have a short conversation. I think she goes, oh,
- 27:36Speaker 2: I haven't seen you for a while, and he's like, likewise,
- 27:39Speaker 2: you know, it's been busy.
- 27:41Speaker 1: And then she goes, why can't he train me? Can
- 27:46Speaker 1: he train me?
- 27:46Speaker 2: And then what is it that is said? She's He
- 27:53Speaker 2: says the coldest line as real. Yeah that's so sexy.
- 27:59Speaker 3: Though, Cassian like, he could train you if you want,
- 28:01Speaker 3: but he's probably harder than I am.
- 28:02Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, Cassian goes like, hey, by all means he
- 28:04Speaker 2: can train you, but you're gonna like it. He's way
- 28:09Speaker 2: less patient than me. Also, he's fucking busy. But so
- 28:13Speaker 2: chapter eight. If I can find it quickly, here we go.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Asriel took a bite of his eggs. Likewise, the Shadow
- 28:19Speaker 2: Singer nodded towards her clothes. How's training? Cassian cut him
- 28:22Speaker 2: a sharp look. That's the glances between them. There was
- 28:26Speaker 2: no way Azrael didn't know about yesterday, which I'm assuming
- 28:29Speaker 2: is I think the stairs the stairs? Cassian had probably
- 28:34Speaker 2: glotted about the incident with the stairs too. She sipped
- 28:36Speaker 2: from her tea. Training is fantastic, absolutely riveting. Asrael's mouth
- 28:41Speaker 2: curled up at the corner. I hope you're not giving
- 28:42Speaker 2: my brother a hard time. She set down her tea cup.
- 28:46Speaker 2: Is that a threat? Shadow Singer Cassian took a long
- 28:48Speaker 2: drink from his own tea drained it to the dregs.
- 28:52Speaker 2: As Reel said coolly, I don't need to resort to threats.
- 28:56Speaker 2: I know.
- 28:57Speaker 1: I found that to be the coldest fucking lot. Yeah,
- 29:01Speaker 1: he backs himself so much.
- 29:03Speaker 2: He's like, no, that wasn't a thrap, straight telling like
- 29:04Speaker 2: don't get man, Yeah, oh fuck.
- 29:07Speaker 1: It was to do exactly bro.
- 29:10Speaker 3: So then she said after she's like, I don't resort
- 29:12Speaker 3: the threats either. Yeah, it's like shut off the fuck
- 29:15Speaker 3: off your yeah.
- 29:17Speaker 1: Ah.
- 29:18Speaker 2: They go back to wind Haven to train again. The
- 29:20Speaker 2: next day, she can barely walk up to the stairs,
- 29:23Speaker 2: and then she just refuses to again, so he goes
- 29:27Speaker 2: Causian's like, you're not fuck this. It's cold out here.
- 29:31Speaker 2: Do whatever you want. Go for a walk in the
- 29:33Speaker 2: village for all I care, see ya. Chapter nine, she
- 29:38Speaker 2: visits a shop owner and she asks for warmer leathers
- 29:44Speaker 2: because these ones they're warm, but not warm enough because
- 29:48Speaker 2: she's not moving, and a lot the owner goes, oh, ship,
- 29:51Speaker 2: no one's ever came in to ask for warmer leathers.
- 29:53Speaker 1: They always say it's warm. And I throw too proud.
- 29:56Speaker 1: This is that, not me? Not me, And she says
- 29:58Speaker 1: something about this this.
- 30:00Speaker 2: Olirian lady in the shop, she just like holds herself
- 30:04Speaker 2: so super well, and she goes about. She says, oh,
- 30:09Speaker 2: she mustn't recognize me, because a lot of people recognize
- 30:12Speaker 2: Nesta as Fara's sister, and they go on and on,
- 30:15Speaker 2: and then she says, well, I'll see about ordering you
- 30:20Speaker 2: some new leathers. See if I can get something lined
- 30:25Speaker 2: and then Nesta goes, oh, how much will it be?
- 30:29Speaker 2: And she goes, oh, I'll just I'll just charge it
- 30:32Speaker 2: to the night court. She goes oh, She's like, I
- 30:35Speaker 2: know who you are. Well you called Highburn, we know
- 30:37Speaker 2: who you are. And she was like, wait, don't do that.
- 30:40Speaker 2: I'm cut off. This trap tells her I'm cut off,
- 30:43Speaker 2: and she's like, oh shit, okay, well i'll get your price.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I'll let you know.
- 30:47Speaker 2: And I was like, the interaction she had with this
- 30:50Speaker 2: lady was that the most normal interaction Nesta has had.
- 30:53Speaker 1: The whole series. She talked to her like she was
- 30:56Speaker 1: a human being, human being or a fairy I guess
- 30:59Speaker 1: you know, yeah, Faye to Faye. It was fucking insane.
- 31:03Speaker 1: And so from there she.
- 31:06Speaker 2: Goes back to the house to do another shift at
- 31:08Speaker 2: the library and she's doing some shit. She's down a
- 31:11Speaker 2: few levels and she's worried about bria Axis. But Praxis
- 31:15Speaker 2: isn't there anymore. When are they going to go get
- 31:16Speaker 2: briy Axis.
- 31:17Speaker 3: By the way, they mentioned something Reese was gone and
- 31:20Speaker 3: then you forgot.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Yeah, they need to go hunt him down. Why are
- 31:22Speaker 2: they're just letting him loose? Yeah, it's not hurt anyone
- 31:24Speaker 2: struck a bargain rue.
- 31:27Speaker 1: Maybe they haven't put that window in yet.
- 31:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:29Speaker 1: True, he's like, I'm not coming back with's my window.
- 31:32Speaker 1: But he's Clotho says, Yea, I don't worry about briacxis.
- 31:34Speaker 2: Even if he comes back, he's never ever harmed any
- 31:36Speaker 2: of us because he has already seen that.
- 31:39Speaker 1: We've lived through our worst fears.
- 31:41Speaker 2: So if someone's already lived through their worst fears, he
- 31:43Speaker 2: doesn't touch him or and then if they haven't lived
- 31:46Speaker 2: through their worst fears, he becomes them, which is a
- 31:48Speaker 2: sick thing.
- 31:49Speaker 1: It is cool, be fair.
- 31:50Speaker 2: This is like, oh, I've lived my first I've seen
- 31:53Speaker 2: my father's next.
- 31:54Speaker 1: Snap. She fucking hates her dad. She hated her dad again.
- 31:58Speaker 2: Another YouTube comment, someone said, like, coming from someone with
- 32:02Speaker 2: a broken relationship with their father, the redemption arc of
- 32:06Speaker 2: their Archeron's sister's dad was actually like to that particular
- 32:10Speaker 2: person was really sick because it was It's like quite
- 32:13Speaker 2: often that a parent doesn't really know how to parent.
- 32:16Speaker 2: They love their kids, but they don't know how to
- 32:19Speaker 2: do it, and then him coming back and like saving
- 32:21Speaker 2: their life or doing it for them at least obviously
- 32:24Speaker 2: like struck something in Nesta and that's why she's so
- 32:26Speaker 2: fucked up from it.
- 32:27Speaker 1: So I was like, fair, it's a good way to
- 32:28Speaker 1: look at it.
- 32:29Speaker 3: I saw another comment opposite end of the spectrum is
- 32:33Speaker 3: imagine being the three sisters. Farah had to fend for
- 32:35Speaker 3: all of them through that hard time when she was
- 32:38Speaker 3: like fifteen fourteen fourteen, and then your dad rocks up
- 32:42Speaker 3: with three boats. One of them says fucking Nestro.
- 32:44Speaker 2: On it, and not only one of them says Nestra
- 32:46Speaker 2: on it. Yeah, the three the boats are called far
- 32:49Speaker 2: Elaine and Nesta. Yeah, but he's standing on the one
- 32:51Speaker 2: that says Nesta.
- 32:52Speaker 1: Yeah, what the fuck? I know, I'll be like, fucking
- 32:55Speaker 1: el Dad. That's why. That's why Fara doesn't give a
- 32:59Speaker 1: fucking out to death. That's a nice opinion. That is nice,
- 33:01Speaker 1: is Yeah. I was thinking, yeah, I need to change
- 33:02Speaker 1: my perspective.
- 33:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it's all about perspective, but also yeah, fuck he
- 33:08Speaker 3: mark this.
- 33:10Speaker 1: So then another.
- 33:14Speaker 2: Acolyte, not quite a priestess, she's an acolyte that works
- 33:16Speaker 2: at library, comes down and she's like kind of barking
- 33:18Speaker 2: orders at Nesta. It's just like, what the funk break
- 33:20Speaker 2: like takes offense to She's like, what the funk is
- 33:22Speaker 2: she her name's like Gwyneth and she says, people call
- 33:23Speaker 2: me Gwynn. She's like, what the fuck, Like, don't talk
- 33:26Speaker 2: to me like that. And then like this gwin chick.
- 33:29Speaker 1: She just says it how it is. She's like, man,
- 33:30Speaker 1: fuck you whatever.
- 33:32Speaker 2: And so then she goes after show her shift, she
- 33:35Speaker 2: goes to Clotho, like you fucking tell your acolytes to
- 33:37Speaker 2: be kinder, and she's like, damn, hey, they do what
- 33:41Speaker 2: they want. I was like Nesta getting treated as she
- 33:44Speaker 2: is a normal fucking not like Nessa's been treated ever
- 33:47Speaker 2: since she got back as farous sister. No one says
- 33:50Speaker 2: anything to us. She spends the money, does what she wants.
- 33:52Speaker 3: There's just a little bit of a taste of her
- 33:53Speaker 3: own medicine exact actually like it.
- 33:55Speaker 2: She didn't like it, thinking fucking hippocree literally Jesus. And
- 34:01Speaker 2: then okay. Chapter ten, Cassian comes into the so Nessa's
- 34:07Speaker 2: in the library near her room. There's like a little
- 34:10Speaker 2: just a library in the house near room, and she's
- 34:13Speaker 2: she's reading some Schemai Shmard, doing her thing, and she's
- 34:17Speaker 2: eating her meal that she was starving for because she
- 34:19Speaker 2: could talk to the house. By the way, this is crazy,
- 34:22Speaker 2: Like she's the only one that can talk to the house.
- 34:23Speaker 2: And Cassian catches her drink once and she's like, don't
- 34:25Speaker 2: you do it and he goes, no, it's a house,
- 34:28Speaker 2: don't talk to it. She's like, why talk and it answers.
- 34:31Speaker 2: So I was thinking subtle foreshadowing of like I assume
- 34:35Speaker 2: the house. I think Reese can talk to the house.
- 34:37Speaker 2: I'm assuming, right, But I think that Nessa is going
- 34:40Speaker 2: to be this like fuck off powerful being and the
- 34:44Speaker 2: house will only recognize them oft like those of great power.
- 34:50Speaker 2: Oh so that's my that's my I think it's definitely
- 34:53Speaker 2: been a set of for shadow. Yeah, that's a prediction
- 34:54Speaker 2: of mine. So she says to the house, like, any
- 34:58Speaker 2: chance I could have some more like food, and he
- 35:02Speaker 2: gives like a bit of cake. She's like, shit, is
- 35:04Speaker 2: that under Cassian's diet plan training diet plan? And then
- 35:08Speaker 2: he waltz in and he's like, I don't know whatever
- 35:11Speaker 2: he says, and he comes over and he like picks
- 35:13Speaker 2: it up and he starts eating it. She's like, that's
- 35:14Speaker 2: my and he's like, take it from me, Take it
- 35:18Speaker 2: from me. You know, I'm off balance. Right now, he
- 35:21Speaker 2: sweep out my feet or some shit take it from me,
- 35:23Speaker 2: starts eating it, eats half of it.
- 35:25Speaker 1: He's like, he eat your fucking cake. Come to train
- 35:29Speaker 1: it tomorrow, bitch.
- 35:34Speaker 2: And then oh, yeah, she tries the steps again and
- 35:39Speaker 2: fails again.
- 35:40Speaker 1: And what does she do though, Oh, she actually falls.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah, so she tries the steps again that night, but
- 35:48Speaker 2: she actually falls, like loses foot and she's tumbling. But
- 35:53Speaker 2: as she's tumbling, she's like catches herself and she realizes
- 35:57Speaker 2: like she's fucking the stairs up. And she's adding she's
- 36:00Speaker 2: put like gougers in the stairs from her hands, and
- 36:02Speaker 2: this is another show of her power like coming out.
- 36:05Speaker 2: And she said that she sees like as she's falling,
- 36:08Speaker 2: there was like sparks coming from her hands, and when
- 36:11Speaker 2: she stops, she's like fuck, like she's fucked up or bruised.
- 36:15Speaker 2: But yeah, she just notices that it's the build up
- 36:19Speaker 2: of power.
- 36:20Speaker 1: She needs to release it.
- 36:22Speaker 2: Next day, training again Cassie and says please train.
- 36:26Speaker 1: Obviously refuses again off the day, So not too much.
- 36:31Speaker 1: A few actually quite a lot of bread crumbing. Yeah, yeah, true, a.
- 36:35Speaker 2: Lot of bread crumbing. I like the bread coming of
- 36:37Speaker 2: the tension. Between her and Cassie.
- 36:39Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, you can tell.
- 36:41Speaker 3: Like that sex scene.
- 36:43Speaker 1: Man, it's gonna be crazy.
- 36:44Speaker 3: It's I think it's gonna outdo I know recently last
- 36:48Speaker 3: two minutes, if the attention for that was so high, it's.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Gonna out to everything.
- 36:53Speaker 2: So one more thing I forgot to say was there's
- 36:55Speaker 2: a part in those chapters where so Cassian does something
- 37:01Speaker 2: right and then she goes, what.
- 37:04Speaker 1: Do you think?
- 37:04Speaker 2: What do you think is gonna come of this? Do
- 37:05Speaker 2: you think you're gonna get me in your bed?
- 37:08Speaker 1: Is that what you want?
- 37:09Speaker 2: And then he goes like, oh no, no, no, She thinks,
- 37:12Speaker 2: do you think I'm gonna let you in my bed?
- 37:14Speaker 2: Do you think that's what's gonna happen?
- 37:16Speaker 1: And he goes no, but I know you're gonna try
- 37:19Speaker 1: and come to my bed, And I was like, fuck yeah,
- 37:26Speaker 1: and she will and she fucking will.
- 37:29Speaker 2: So so predictions, eh, predictions, you go anywhere.
- 37:34Speaker 1: Well, so we know that that dark lord's.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Giving power to the Queen's and Asruel has now been tasked.
- 37:41Speaker 1: For doing some further investigating on that. But I'm kind
- 37:44Speaker 1: to see what HAPs with Heiress.
- 37:45Speaker 3: I like, Aris, my prediction is Reese and heires kill
- 37:50Speaker 3: Barn Yeah, but.
- 37:53Speaker 2: No he asked it because Cassian goes like, would you
- 37:55Speaker 2: want to cell your dad now and you become high lord?
- 37:57Speaker 1: And he goes, that's suspicious. But they'll figure out a way.
- 37:59Speaker 3: I reckon, Yeah, that and that that will occupy recent
- 38:04Speaker 3: Asrael a bit, and then Cassim will be left. Also,
- 38:07Speaker 3: casting's a bit hard done by dealing with Nesta for
- 38:10Speaker 3: being the general when all these other things he does.
- 38:12Speaker 2: Well, he's no longer general, like he's those duties are
- 38:15Speaker 2: like he still is, but he has nothing to do.
- 38:17Speaker 1: There's nothing like much to do.
- 38:19Speaker 2: And so that's why Reese has been like, yeah, time
- 38:21Speaker 2: for a promotion, pay rise to Okay, there's one more thing, right,
- 38:29Speaker 2: I like andre that More is still hiding something she
- 38:35Speaker 2: does have give you.
- 38:36Speaker 1: A bad feeling in your gut, doesn't she? Yeah? I
- 38:39Speaker 1: have a bad feeling about More. Also, why is.
- 38:43Speaker 3: Like favor not in this at all?
- 38:47Speaker 1: What's the reasoning behind it?
- 38:48Speaker 2: I just I think maybe her story arc is over okay, yeah, yeah,
- 38:51Speaker 2: I'm thinking she gets like pregnant, yeah yeah, yeah, and
- 38:54Speaker 2: like obviously occupied.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Yeah, and then maybe that might reunite the sisterhood.
- 38:59Speaker 1: A little bit because Nesta will be an Auntie.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yeah, she'll be Anannie and bring them all together. There's
- 39:03Speaker 3: one bit in the book where Nessa's just like, apparently
- 39:06Speaker 3: Elaine's not the bad way anymore.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I am.
- 39:09Speaker 2: Elaine's a beast now she just is like accepted that
- 39:12Speaker 2: she's part of it.
- 39:13Speaker 1: She helps people with.
- 39:14Speaker 2: Their gardens like she's a gardener.
- 39:16Speaker 1: It's the sickest life.
- 39:17Speaker 3: Yeah, Nesta could just do shit and then have sex,
- 39:20Speaker 3: but she does nothing.
- 39:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:23Speaker 2: The thing that's the thing that pissed him off, right
- 39:25Speaker 2: is like everyone's giving her so much benefit of the doubt,
- 39:28Speaker 2: and I'm just like chuck her in the fucking hun city.
- 39:31Speaker 1: Bro where she belongs. Yeah, legit get cred to sort
- 39:34Speaker 1: her out.
- 39:34Speaker 2: But okay, So I for some reason have a great
- 39:39Speaker 2: feeling about Heiress, even to be fair, even though he
- 39:42Speaker 2: didn't help More when she was dumped on the border.
- 39:46Speaker 2: So a great feeling about Rass and a bad feeling
- 39:48Speaker 2: about More.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And I don't know why.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Maybe I saw a predict, Maybe maybe I got a
- 39:51Speaker 2: spoiler somewhere that I can't remember.
- 39:53Speaker 3: No, I don't reckon she rubbed you the wrong way. Yeah,
- 39:56Speaker 3: I reckon She's written to her like she's just like
- 39:58Speaker 3: doesn't tell the truth, tells her truth not the truth.
- 40:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that she's gonna betray them, betray you see, No,
- 40:12Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 40:13Speaker 3: I don't think she'll betray We're gonna throw Lucien in
- 40:16Speaker 3: there too. Does he find out does like Pharaoh and
- 40:18Speaker 3: recent slip and tell him that the dad's actually what's
- 40:22Speaker 3: his name again, Helen?
- 40:23Speaker 1: I was gonna say Helium, Helen. It's quite a lot.
- 40:29Speaker 3: I like if more does something bad or she yeah.
- 40:31Speaker 2: I don't mind it, like yeah, like it would obviously
- 40:34Speaker 2: make me hate her, but also just begs the story good?
- 40:36Speaker 3: And how does Nessa actually come good? Why does she
- 40:39Speaker 3: start training?
- 40:40Speaker 2: She's just there, I dare say in these next ten
- 40:42Speaker 2: chapters we read, she will start training.
- 40:44Speaker 3: I reckon she really becomes good friends with the one
- 40:49Speaker 3: who was making a new letters or where she's working,
- 40:52Speaker 3: and she's like all these people are actually kind of cool. Yeah,
- 40:55Speaker 3: and then she's like, oh, I'm here most all trying. Yeah, yeah,
- 40:57Speaker 3: something like that.
- 40:58Speaker 1: I think the thing that makes her train is going
- 41:00Speaker 1: to be.
- 41:04Speaker 2: A shot in the dark. Here there is like an
- 41:09Speaker 2: attack by the human queens on Prithian and Cassian gets
- 41:20Speaker 2: like hurt defending her because she can't defend herself. So
- 41:24Speaker 2: then she goes, fuck, I better train second defend myself.
- 41:28Speaker 1: Well that's good, that's yeah. I like that good reason,
- 41:30Speaker 1: that's my prediction. I also reckon. I reckon.
- 41:32Speaker 3: There's something that don't know how We said Reese or
- 41:35Speaker 3: someone might kill Baron, but Er said, nah, I.
- 41:39Speaker 1: Can, Lucien might kill him.
- 41:41Speaker 3: I love that for how though, like something within that
- 41:44Speaker 3: realm of Baron is a trader. And then they attack
- 41:47Speaker 3: and then they got to fight him, and then Ers
- 41:49Speaker 3: can't kill him, but Lucian can because Lucian hates him. Yeah,
- 41:52Speaker 3: and everything about him and Lucian comes good. And then
- 41:55Speaker 3: and then someone's going to snitch.
- 41:56Speaker 1: And be like, well that's not actually was not actually
- 41:58Speaker 1: a dad.
- 42:00Speaker 4: True.
- 42:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's like, don't feel bad mate that he was
- 42:04Speaker 1: not even your dad.
- 42:06Speaker 2: And he hates his dad, so yeah, well he hates
- 42:09Speaker 2: the dad that raised him.
- 42:10Speaker 3: But intriguing, we're at the start, Yeah, we're at the beginning.
- 42:14Speaker 1: At the beginning. That's just the beginning.
- 42:15Speaker 3: I felt this journey's gone so quick, I know, like
- 42:19Speaker 3: that's so many is this this book?
- 42:20Speaker 1: What's his six? Yeah? No, this book five.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Five five five the six one's coming out, and when
- 42:25Speaker 3: we're done this will the sixth one be out.
- 42:27Speaker 2: So here's my thinking, right, I think that what we
- 42:33Speaker 2: do after reading comments is because in the last episode we.
- 42:36Speaker 1: Asked, we said, like, where do we go? Where do
- 42:39Speaker 1: we go?
- 42:39Speaker 2: Because we said, we said, just pretend that Crescent City
- 42:43Speaker 2: and Tarror and thrown a class on an option, tell
- 42:46Speaker 2: us where to go?
- 42:48Speaker 1: A couple of different things, right, A lot of Fourth Wing,
- 42:52Speaker 1: but I had one.
- 42:55Speaker 2: There was a couple of people that suggested Quicksilver because
- 42:57Speaker 2: it's one book and there's another one coming out super.
- 42:59Speaker 1: Souit like soon enough, soon enough.
- 43:02Speaker 2: So they said, by the time you're done the first one,
- 43:04Speaker 2: it should be up, the second one should be out.
- 43:07Speaker 3: I'm not opposed to a little like intermission, but one
- 43:11Speaker 3: book breather, yeah, a bit of a breather.
- 43:12Speaker 2: Yeah, So either that or I feel like what we'll
- 43:15Speaker 2: do is Fourth Wing.
- 43:17Speaker 3: They're big, they're all that size.
- 43:19Speaker 1: They're huge, but they're good.
- 43:21Speaker 3: I like the idea of a breather intermission top Vibe,
- 43:25Speaker 3: just to like break up the universes a little bit too. Yeah,
- 43:28Speaker 3: even though it's another universe. But if it's only two books.
- 43:31Speaker 2: And then I think from there we do Crescent City
- 43:35Speaker 2: because Crescent City or if there's a release date for
- 43:38Speaker 2: Akatar six, we need to try and plan Crescent City
- 43:41Speaker 2: to finish when that's happening, because apparently Crescent City is
- 43:45Speaker 2: a must read before Aktar six, okay, and before we
- 43:48Speaker 2: leave a couple more things is Thrown of Glass.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Apparently it doesn't.
- 43:52Speaker 2: Get really really good to a book four. So I
- 43:55Speaker 2: was thinking, like, if we do Throne of Glass, we
- 43:59Speaker 2: maybe try and do it where it's like a ah,
- 44:02Speaker 2: like we almost train do instead of doing ten chapters
- 44:08Speaker 2: each for like book one, two, and three, we try
- 44:10Speaker 2: and do it in a way where you get through
- 44:11Speaker 2: them quicker somehow. And then but Crescent City apparently is
- 44:16Speaker 2: like as good as Akata in terms of like exciting shit.
- 44:19Speaker 3: Did anyone did I mention my idea? How like I
- 44:22Speaker 3: don't mind having the breather, But then fourth Wing on
- 44:27Speaker 3: the main episode, then Patreon gets like Crescent City.
- 44:30Speaker 1: Or yeah, no one said anything about that? Did I mention?
- 44:32Speaker 2: Maybe you didn't mention it. So's idea is we do
- 44:35Speaker 2: fourth Wing for Manette and then instead of getting fourth Wing,
- 44:41Speaker 2: is it instead of getting fourth Wing early? Yeah, the
- 44:43Speaker 2: Patreon exclusive on a Friday is Throwing Glass.
- 44:48Speaker 3: I might have mentioned it on Patreon and everyone said
- 44:50Speaker 3: it's a pretty good idea. It might be the slightest
- 44:52Speaker 3: little bit annoying going between two different universes. Yeah, and
- 44:56Speaker 3: it's a lot more reading, but you could do it
- 44:58Speaker 3: in a way where you just like have a bit
- 44:59Speaker 3: more fun Patreon.
- 45:00Speaker 1: True, like no a structure, yeah, not a structure, just more.
- 45:03Speaker 3: But we're getting ahead of ourselves. We've still got still
- 45:06Speaker 3: the flames to finish.
- 45:07Speaker 1: Let's do this book first. Yeah, let's do that. So
- 45:09Speaker 1: thank you very much.
- 45:10Speaker 2: We love you guys very much, and stay Bay
