- 0:04Speaker 1: NFL Game Deview is a production of the NFL in
- 0:06Speaker 1: partnership with iHeartRadio.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hey, everybody, welcome to Game Deve you. Patrick Claybound here
- 0:14Speaker 2: with not just these gifts, but these two gifts Greg
- 0:17Speaker 2: Rosenball and Cynthia Freeland here to get you every bit
- 0:20Speaker 2: of information you need to properly decide how you feel
- 0:23Speaker 2: about these football games.
- 0:24Speaker 3: Hey guys, hey bus, this was this the like the dance.
- 0:28Speaker 4: I just don't like that he's trying to butter us
- 0:30Speaker 4: up with these gifts before he just quietly sticks the
- 0:33Speaker 4: knife in with these great picks every week.
- 0:35Speaker 5: I know he's crushing us.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Well, here's gift us some picks with full context. Greg
- 0:40Speaker 2: led last week in the Picks he went eleven and five. However,
- 0:45Speaker 2: I still reluctantly wear that crown.
- 0:47Speaker 5: I did mind not reluctantly.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Well, my thoughts on monarchy are perhaps complicated.
- 0:51Speaker 5: As on this show. You can have a monarchy.
- 0:54Speaker 2: Okay, there it is one and seventy seven on the season,
- 0:57Speaker 2: just a few games, I think four. My math is
- 1:01Speaker 2: properly which is always a problem. I had to sit
- 1:02Speaker 2: through freely. Hey, Greg closing winning two consecutive weeks. Let's
- 1:06Speaker 2: discuss some football folks. It was just two weeks ago.
- 1:10Speaker 2: The Bears and the Packers met up in Green Bay.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Less than thirty seconds ago. Driving to tywer win the game,
- 1:14Speaker 2: Caleb Williams was picked off by Keishaw Nixon. The Packers
- 1:18Speaker 2: won twenty eight, twenty eight to twenty one. It feels
- 1:20Speaker 2: like a lifetime ago because since then the Bears stopped
- 1:23Speaker 2: the Browns, the Packers lost Micah Parsons for the season.
- 1:26Speaker 2: A lot has transpired since then, to the extent that
- 1:30Speaker 2: next Gen Stats is finally believing in the Chicago Bears.
- 1:34Speaker 2: They have them at forty three percent probability to win
- 1:36Speaker 2: the division, just behind the Green Bay Packers there at
- 1:39Speaker 2: fifty one percent. Packers haven't lost in the division all season.
- 1:43Speaker 4: Good, you see, that is one of the reasons why
- 1:46Speaker 4: you gotta like the Packers.
- 1:47Speaker 6: Here four and oh the Bears are one in three.
- 1:50Speaker 6: It's ridiculous.
- 1:51Speaker 2: It's okay. Well, the Packers Bears rematch was Saturday in Chicago.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Romo Dunes and Luther Burden are out for Chicago. Do
- 1:58Speaker 2: the Bears. Although it feels like you're not leaning that way.
- 2:01Speaker 4: Get some rum I like to spoil my picks, but First,
- 2:04Speaker 4: I want to spoil something that happened in the offseason.
- 2:06Speaker 4: You have to remember Ben Johnson's press conference when he
- 2:10Speaker 4: took the job in Chicago. I think laid the groundwork
- 2:13Speaker 4: for what's going to happen on Saturday. And to be
- 2:16Speaker 4: quite frank with you, I kind of enjoyed beating Matt
- 2:22Speaker 4: Lafleur twice a year.
- 2:26Speaker 6: Oh you dirty dog, Ben.
- 2:28Speaker 2: It was so big.
- 2:29Speaker 4: Yeah, he like paused, he said it, and he was
- 2:33Speaker 4: practiced so many times. And look, I'm sure he did
- 2:37Speaker 4: like beating it. But he had Dan Campbell by his
- 2:39Speaker 4: side this time, and the first time they met, he
- 2:41Speaker 4: did not get that victory. Matt Lafleur then gave the
- 2:45Speaker 4: drive by handshake heard around the world and Ben Johnson,
- 2:49Speaker 4: if you're gonna talk your your game, you gotta deliver.
- 2:53Speaker 4: And I think this is a big moment for Matt lafle.
- 2:57Speaker 6: It really was.
- 2:58Speaker 4: Matt Lafleur has been in this division for seven years.
- 3:01Speaker 4: It is the third year with Jordan Love as his quarterback,
- 3:04Speaker 4: and I think their program, their organization is further along
- 3:08Speaker 4: than Ben Jonson's.
- 3:09Speaker 6: It's not a fair fight.
- 3:10Speaker 4: So even without Michael Parsons, I like the Packers getting
- 3:12Speaker 4: it done.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It did become one point closer for me, but I
- 3:15Speaker 3: still have the Packers as well, twenty four to twenty two.
- 3:18Speaker 3: I think when you look at Josh Jacobs, who has
- 3:20Speaker 3: been you know, a little banged up and take its
- 3:23Speaker 3: rest in terms of not practicing, I don't really care.
- 3:26Speaker 5: That was the talk last week as well.
- 3:28Speaker 3: When I'm looking at his verse sight, this team wants
- 3:30Speaker 3: to run first and then pass off of all of
- 3:32Speaker 3: the different run concepts.
- 3:34Speaker 5: So he's a straw that starts to drink.
- 3:36Speaker 3: Here the Bears defense, there are a very high interception
- 3:39Speaker 3: team leading the league. Well, what is the best way
- 3:42Speaker 3: to not turn the ball over through the air?
- 3:44Speaker 5: Run the dang football.
- 3:45Speaker 3: So ultimately, to me, the opportunity to keep Josh Jacobs
- 3:49Speaker 3: going and keep him ahead of a six, like just
- 3:52Speaker 3: keep that positive momentum going and like momentum, but keep
- 3:55Speaker 3: that positive trajectory going in that case, But Josh Jacobs
- 3:59Speaker 3: is the difference maker.
- 3:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you can make the case. He was the best
- 4:01Speaker 2: offensive player on the field for the Packers against the
- 4:03Speaker 2: Denver Broncos. Great offensive team and a solid defense. I
- 4:06Speaker 2: believe in the Chicago Bears, I've got one point for
- 4:09Speaker 2: the Bears. Yes, we're barking here, and I'm gonna pay
- 4:12Speaker 2: off on a promise that I made a couple of
- 4:13Speaker 2: weeks ago. I said close game. The next time I
- 4:16Speaker 2: picked this game, I'm gonna take the home team and
- 4:18Speaker 2: I'm gonna do that. And the playoff highlighted when we
- 4:20Speaker 2: discussed that game was Michael Parsons. This time it's DeAndre Swift.
- 4:24Speaker 2: He has an explosive run rate of seventeen percent. Since
- 4:27Speaker 2: the Bears came back from the bye, they have more
- 4:30Speaker 2: explosive runs than anybody in the NFL. I think they
- 4:34Speaker 2: ride that run game to a great win for the
- 4:37Speaker 2: Chicago Bears and get the inside track in the North.
- 4:40Speaker 2: It's time for the feel good story of the Week,
- 4:42Speaker 2: presented by Geico. The winner of this game takes sole
- 4:44Speaker 2: possession of first place in the North Cynthia. Which quarterback
- 4:47Speaker 2: more likely to throw for over two hundred and twenty
- 4:50Speaker 2: five yards?
- 4:50Speaker 5: Is it Jordan or came it's Jordan?
- 4:52Speaker 6: Now?
- 4:53Speaker 5: Do I know who exactly? It goes to?
- 4:55Speaker 3: No, because it seems like every so often it's like, hey,
- 4:57Speaker 3: this is the robo dabs game, Okay, this is Christian
- 4:59Speaker 3: Way whatever. So there's some injuries there. I don't care
- 5:01Speaker 3: who it is. I think that it is going to
- 5:03Speaker 3: be Dan. I know I just talked about not turning
- 5:06Speaker 3: the ball over, But.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Do you know what Jordan Love does. Oh, just a
- 5:09Speaker 5: thirty eight to.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Five touchdown interception ratio, which is the best in the league.
- 5:12Speaker 3: So it's not really so much of a concern in
- 5:14Speaker 3: this one.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, and the other quarterback, Kayleb Williams, has given his
- 5:17Speaker 2: offensive lineman marvel comic nicknames. He calls Drew Dolman Hulk
- 5:21Speaker 2: and speaking of a very large and various like that name,
- 5:25Speaker 2: maybe you know Bruce Banner is also very smart? Uh.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Dk Metcalp also big, strong, and on a bit of
- 5:31Speaker 2: a hot streak.
- 5:31Speaker 7: Right now, one in the plate clock gets a snap
- 5:36Speaker 7: Dolphins bringing pressure throw over the middle. It is completely
- 5:39Speaker 7: dk Metcalp pearls aside. One defender chick arm another hit
- 5:43Speaker 7: the hand zone bit at Pittsburgh standers touchdown.
- 5:46Speaker 2: What an effort my dk Metcalp. Physicality on full display.
- 5:54Speaker 7: Dk Metcalp caught that in traffic, had a man on him,
- 5:59Speaker 7: pushed them aside, sidestepped another guy, and waltzed into the.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Like he owned the place, which he does here at
- 6:06Speaker 2: Act Forshure. Congratulations on the purchase of a new in zone.
- 6:10Speaker 2: We're talking real estate before this year, so tell you something.
- 6:14Speaker 2: DK is in possession of that in zone. Steelers' Lions
- 6:17Speaker 2: in Detroit this week. Pittsburgh currently on top of the
- 6:19Speaker 2: AFC Northwall. Detroit is in must win mode if they
- 6:23Speaker 2: want to make the playoffs. Do they get the win
- 6:25Speaker 2: that they need?
- 6:26Speaker 4: They get the win in what I think is going
- 6:28Speaker 4: to be a score fest. So if you're looking at
- 6:29Speaker 4: that number, I like it to go over. But I
- 6:32Speaker 4: like the Lions to get thirty points in this game.
- 6:34Speaker 4: Twenty six for the Steelers because Jared Goff is playing
- 6:37Speaker 4: his best football of the season, even while they're losing games.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I've been really impressed. For instance, they're watching this Rams performance.
- 6:44Speaker 4: He was under pressure. He delivered a lot of dimes,
- 6:47Speaker 4: including that one to Jamison Williams. You think about some
- 6:50Speaker 4: of the tougher moments they lost, that game they lost
- 6:53Speaker 4: on Thanksgiving. I think he was up for the challenge
- 6:56Speaker 4: in those weeks, a leader for this team stepping up.
- 6:59Speaker 4: And then you think about the matchup this week without
- 7:02Speaker 4: the Steelers as healthy. TJ what nick herbig If you
- 7:06Speaker 4: don't pressure Jared Goff. You are going to lose, and
- 7:08Speaker 4: this Steelers defense has been getting by I don't think
- 7:11Speaker 4: they will this week.
- 7:12Speaker 3: Well, you have four points, I have six points. I
- 7:14Speaker 3: have twenty nine to twenty three in this matchup.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Listen, I'm a Lions fan. I can tell you this.
- 7:19Speaker 3: All Lions hands will tell you this is not the
- 7:20Speaker 3: week that they break your heart. It is either next
- 7:22Speaker 3: week on Christmas when they should win the game, or
- 7:24Speaker 3: the following week just to kind of keep your hope
- 7:26Speaker 3: really just at the penultimate hope. But look at Jamier games.
- 7:29Speaker 3: You talk about who the best player on the field
- 7:31Speaker 3: has been. I agree that Jared Gos's been great, but
- 7:34Speaker 3: but for zero, things would not be in this spot
- 7:37Speaker 3: where they're even considering the playoffs given all of the
- 7:39Speaker 3: injuries to the defense, et cetera.
- 7:41Speaker 5: Now you also talked about those missing pieces of the
- 7:43Speaker 5: Steelers defense with TJ. Watt and maybe Nick Herbig.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Well, what is the best way to just not even
- 7:48Speaker 3: worry about pressure. I'll run right at it, run right
- 7:50Speaker 3: where the vacancy left by TJ. Water Nick Herbig happens
- 7:53Speaker 3: to be, which is actually a pretty good spot for
- 7:56Speaker 3: Jamiir Gibs to run and this is very fund success.
- 7:58Speaker 3: And then compound that with the fact that the Steelers
- 8:01Speaker 3: over their past three games have given up five yards
- 8:03Speaker 3: per rush. I think this is a nice, big get
- 8:05Speaker 3: right moment for Jamier Gibbs, Jamior Gibbs fantasy owners who
- 8:08Speaker 3: were very mad at him last week in what wasn't
- 8:10Speaker 3: his fault.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Yeah, we have an entire segment on NFL Fantasy I
- 8:13Speaker 2: have called chillbro where we try to get people to
- 8:15Speaker 2: understand that the player would like to score points as well.
- 8:18Speaker 2: I think Jamiir Gibbs is great, and as Greg pointed out,
- 8:21Speaker 2: JG's playing really good football right now. So whyn't want
- 8:23Speaker 2: to take the guy that JAG's throwing the ball to
- 8:25Speaker 2: a lot and that's Jamison Williams. It's unanimous, folks. I
- 8:28Speaker 2: also have a six point win for the Detroit Lions
- 8:31Speaker 2: Jamison Williams. You know, they've got some guys who've played
- 8:35Speaker 2: a lot of football in that Steelers secondary, and I
- 8:37Speaker 2: envisioned Jamison running past them a significant amount of time.
- 8:40Speaker 2: He got shut out back in Week twelve. Since then,
- 8:43Speaker 2: he's had three or more games, excuse me, three games
- 8:46Speaker 2: with more than seven catches two of those games yet
- 8:49Speaker 2: north of one hundred and thirty yards. So yeah, if
- 8:52Speaker 2: you're a Steelers fan who watching want to chronicle or.
- 8:56Speaker 5: Choice of all life, of course, we love yins.
- 8:59Speaker 2: Feel free to photograph this image and send it to
- 9:02Speaker 2: us in the event that we were wrong. We don't
- 9:04Speaker 2: necessarily think so Vegas expecting fireworks in this one. They've
- 9:07Speaker 2: got it projected as the highest scoring game of the week.
- 9:09Speaker 2: Why don't we take a look at the rest of
- 9:11Speaker 2: the highest totals according to our friends at Caesars Chargers
- 9:14Speaker 2: Cowboys featured once again and containing the streak. The Cincinnati
- 9:18Speaker 2: Bengals defense on the spoard once again even against Quinn.
- 9:22Speaker 2: You were it's wild that game above the Bengals. It's
- 9:28Speaker 2: a game that we're pretty focused on. The Patriots and
- 9:31Speaker 2: the Ravens. The NFL Daily Bowl, Poor Game Day View Bowl.
- 9:38Speaker 6: Bengals bringing four Jackson towards the m.
- 9:42Speaker 4: Zone and it is cut Flowers for the Ravens touchdown.
- 9:47Speaker 8: Lamarde Jackson surgical with that pass.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Patriots Rayvens on Sunday Night Football. Baltimore looked significantly better
- 9:57Speaker 2: last week in Cincinnati, but are still looking up at
- 9:59Speaker 2: the Steelers in the division. New England blew a twenty
- 10:02Speaker 2: one point lead to the Bills last Sunday. Do they
- 10:05Speaker 2: exercise those demons, Gregg?
- 10:06Speaker 6: I think they do.
- 10:07Speaker 4: I think they do it in a way that you've
- 10:10Speaker 4: been talking about all season. Patrick explosive plays Patriots are
- 10:13Speaker 4: the new Ravens move aside, Lamar Jackson, you're athletic, You're fine. Hey,
- 10:18Speaker 4: Drake may was scrambling and making some plays with his
- 10:21Speaker 4: legs last week too. But these are the types of
- 10:23Speaker 4: throws of why I'm picking them in this game. Traveon
- 10:26Speaker 4: Henderson and the explosive passing game has been consistent all season,
- 10:31Speaker 4: and for a while I didn't quite believe it. Can
- 10:33Speaker 4: you really build an offense out of Kayshawn Boody deep shots?
- 10:37Speaker 8: Ah?
- 10:37Speaker 6: Yeah you can.
- 10:38Speaker 4: How about maccollins making plays down the field like Kyle
- 10:41Speaker 4: Williams has about four catches and half of them are
- 10:45Speaker 4: long touchdowns. And it's really about this man number thirty two,
- 10:48Speaker 4: who yes, already leads the Patriots franchise all time in
- 10:52Speaker 4: fifty yard plus touchdowns four already this season. I think
- 10:56Speaker 4: he could do it again and beat the Ravens at
- 10:58Speaker 4: their own game with big time touchdowns.
- 11:00Speaker 3: When you talk about beating the Ravens at their own game,
- 11:02Speaker 3: what comes to mind for me mobile quarterback, which is
- 11:05Speaker 3: what Drake May is, Which is why I have New
- 11:07Speaker 3: England winning twenty four to twenty three. Last week, he
- 11:10Speaker 3: got Josh Allen and he learned something from that. Right
- 11:13Speaker 3: he in the first half, Josh Allen was not Josh Allen.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Then something happened at halftime. He put on the cape
- 11:19Speaker 3: and in the second half Josh Allen turned back into
- 11:22Speaker 3: the superhero that we all expected. Drake May has many
- 11:24Speaker 3: of the same attributes as Josh Allen, so I think
- 11:27Speaker 3: what we're gonna see here. Even though his offensive coordinator says,
- 11:30Speaker 3: I want to get the ball in the hands of
- 11:31Speaker 3: Trevion Henderson more, I still think it is Drake May's
- 11:34Speaker 3: ability to make things happen. Throwing on the run, just brushing, scrambling,
- 11:38Speaker 3: you know, whatever it needs to be. This man is
- 11:40Speaker 3: the guy who's up for anything that the defense could
- 11:43Speaker 3: give me.
- 11:43Speaker 4: I like it when the Model goes for a three
- 11:45Speaker 4: point on your dog. It's like the model woke up
- 11:47Speaker 4: feeling frisky.
- 11:48Speaker 5: Yeah, the Model's very frisky.
- 11:50Speaker 2: The model is an ever present the circumstance, we're constantly
- 11:54Speaker 2: watching to see what it does. I'm going against the
- 11:56Speaker 2: model here. I'm going to the Baltimore Regular with a
- 11:58Speaker 2: got twenty seven to twenty six win, and what I
- 12:00Speaker 2: do think will be a score fest, both teams going
- 12:02Speaker 2: up and down the field, but in those types of matchups,
- 12:05Speaker 2: as Greg points out, with teams that make explosive plays,
- 12:08Speaker 2: making the big play, having those big moments. And there's
- 12:11Speaker 2: a former Patriot that had a big moment last week
- 12:13Speaker 2: in cal Vanoyd, that I think has a solid game.
- 12:16Speaker 2: In fact, cal Vanoy is third on the team in pressures,
- 12:20Speaker 2: but he has seventy seven and one hundred and three
- 12:23Speaker 2: fewer pass rushes than the two guys who are in
- 12:26Speaker 2: front of him. And how about just plays like this,
- 12:29Speaker 2: We're I think tournovers are gonna be big in this game.
- 12:32Speaker 2: The chunk plays great, great TV for Chris Collinsworth from
- 12:36Speaker 2: Mike Turrico and everybody watching at home about the Ravens
- 12:39Speaker 2: get one more than than the Patriots and get a win.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Shout out to Bill Belichick for saving Kyle van Noy
- 12:46Speaker 4: from the Detroit Lions franche time and career around and.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Also deciding to move on from him, and so now
- 12:53Speaker 2: you can play for a couple of other teams. It's
- 12:55Speaker 2: time for Who's Eating Good? Presented by Applebee's. Lamar had
- 12:58Speaker 2: two touchdown passes on just twelve attempts in last week's win.
- 13:01Speaker 2: Will we throw for over or under a one and
- 13:04Speaker 2: a half touchdowns against the Patriots?
- 13:05Speaker 5: And I think he throws for at least two passing touchdowns.
- 13:08Speaker 3: I know there was a streaker he didn't throw for
- 13:10Speaker 3: any and it was crazy and people were like, what's
- 13:13Speaker 3: wrong with him?
- 13:13Speaker 5: Is he broken?
- 13:14Speaker 3: I don't necessarily need them to be these deep shots
- 13:16Speaker 3: like you're seeing on your screen. I think that they
- 13:18Speaker 3: could be shorter passes to tight ends. Let's just go
- 13:20Speaker 3: with the higher probability situation. Lamar Jackson, although he looked
- 13:23Speaker 3: great last week, he hasn't necessarily looked like himself all
- 13:26Speaker 3: season long.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Shorter passes just get in the end zone. I think
- 13:29Speaker 5: at least two.
- 13:31Speaker 7: Outside in the Franklin in motion, bo takes a snap
- 13:35Speaker 7: four man pressure, Bow climbs the pocket, throws the.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Ball to the end zone, touchdown, Denver try.
- 13:40Speaker 7: Franklin bow Knicks's fourth touchdown pass of the game. Great
- 13:47Speaker 7: anticipation on that one, Franklin goes high above his helmet
- 13:52Speaker 7: with two hands to snag the ball four yards deep
- 13:55Speaker 7: from the south end zone, and Denver is in front.
- 13:58Speaker 2: Twenty seven to twenty three verses the season for cent
- 14:03Speaker 2: of by Seasons book. As we look at the first
- 14:05Speaker 2: touchdown score odds in the big AFC matchup between the
- 14:09Speaker 2: Jags and the Denver Broncos, it's Etn and R. J.
- 14:13Speaker 2: Harvey leading the way, with Portland Sutton and the trade
- 14:16Speaker 2: deadline acquisition Jacobe Myers rounding out that top four. Let's
- 14:21Speaker 2: talk some more about this mega matchup at Mile High.
- 14:25Speaker 2: The Broncos the hottest team in the league. They've won
- 14:26Speaker 2: eleven straight. Trevor Lawrence coming off a six touchdown performance.
- 14:30Speaker 2: Who wins this potential playoff preview?
- 14:32Speaker 3: Cynthia, I mean, I love what the Jags have been
- 14:35Speaker 3: putting together, but I have Denver winning this one twenty
- 14:37Speaker 3: five to twenty one. I'm looking at Boonix and all
- 14:40Speaker 3: the ways that he has improved.
- 14:41Speaker 5: The defense was.
- 14:42Speaker 3: Really bolstering this team to begin the season, and now
- 14:45Speaker 3: we're starting to see a lot of different types of
- 14:48Speaker 3: passes in tight coverage on the We always know he
- 14:51Speaker 3: throws on the run, but on the run into tight coverage.
- 14:54Speaker 5: Okay, we're adding to your game. So look at this
- 14:56Speaker 5: one right here.
- 14:57Speaker 3: You know Courtland Sutton got opened for that, but ultimately
- 15:00Speaker 3: you're looking at the Packers defense, who for the majority
- 15:02Speaker 3: of the game was with Micah Parson, so it's not
- 15:04Speaker 3: like this is happening without him. You have a really
- 15:08Speaker 3: good opportunity in this matchup not to just have screen passes,
- 15:10Speaker 3: but to really overcome a Jags defense is not bringing
- 15:13Speaker 3: anywhere near the amount of pressure that the Packers were
- 15:16Speaker 3: working with last week.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I am with you, Cynthia. I've got a one
- 15:20Speaker 2: point win for the Denver Broncos twenty four to twenty three.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Somebody has to lose this game between really good teams.
- 15:25Speaker 2: I will take the team that always plays at two
- 15:28Speaker 2: hundred and eighty feet versus the team that plays at
- 15:31Speaker 2: four feet above sea level for the Jacksonville Jaguars long
- 15:34Speaker 2: road trip.
- 15:35Speaker 5: Did you google that?
- 15:36Speaker 2: Yes?
- 15:36Speaker 1: I did.
- 15:37Speaker 2: I googled the average elevation of Everbanks Stadium. For this
- 15:42Speaker 2: lead in, A key part will be you got to
- 15:44Speaker 2: cover all these talented Jags and tal no Hufunga is
- 15:47Speaker 2: going to be a piece that dvance Joseph can deploy
- 15:50Speaker 2: at fifteen weeks the season. Through fifteen weeks, he had
- 15:53Speaker 2: the lowest yards per target in the league among safeties.
- 15:57Speaker 2: And yeah, so many guys catch passes for the Jags
- 16:01Speaker 2: involved in the run game. I think they need a
- 16:03Speaker 2: big ufunga game and I think they get a great Okay.
- 16:05Speaker 4: So there was a moment in last week's Jaguars game
- 16:08Speaker 4: where I became a believer. And it was a moment
- 16:11Speaker 4: after Trevor Lawrence had an incredible touchdown and you know
- 16:13Speaker 4: what he did to the sideline.
- 16:15Speaker 6: He did this and they might think that it's the
- 16:18Speaker 6: Michael Jordan's shrug, but it was.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Actually the just Greg that was coming this week Jaguars
- 16:23Speaker 4: over the Broncos.
- 16:25Speaker 6: It's gonna be the ambush. What do they call it?
- 16:28Speaker 2: The uh?
- 16:29Speaker 5: Sure? Back when Mark Brunell and the Jaguars okay.
- 16:33Speaker 4: One back in the nineteen ninety six playoffs against the
- 16:37Speaker 4: Broncos team, very similar score here, a three point win
- 16:40Speaker 4: in a score fest. And this time, instead of Brunell
- 16:42Speaker 4: and John Elway, it's Trevor Lawrence and Bo Nick And
- 16:45Speaker 4: you know what, they're playing like a couple Hall of famers.
- 16:47Speaker 6: At least the last couple of weeks. This is the
- 16:49Speaker 6: best Trevor.
- 16:49Speaker 4: Lawrence has ever looked, and he's doing it to the
- 16:52Speaker 4: intermediate part of the field. They are really spamming these
- 16:55Speaker 4: throws from ten to nineteen yards and you see some
- 16:57Speaker 4: of the dumpoffs here. That's great because of the weapons,
- 17:00Speaker 4: but it's really about those intermediate throws. And I do
- 17:03Speaker 4: think if there's anywhere pick on in the Broncos defense,
- 17:05Speaker 4: that's it against some of those linebackers in safeties.
- 17:08Speaker 6: Let's go Trevor looking forward to.
- 17:10Speaker 2: This matchup between Lawrence and Knicks, who are twenty six
- 17:13Speaker 2: and twenty five, respectively. They were both less than six
- 17:16Speaker 2: years old when Philip Rivers threw his first career touchdown.
- 17:19Speaker 2: Now it's twenty twenty five and the literal grandfather still
- 17:23Speaker 2: doing it. Two by two formation for Rivers looking over
- 17:27Speaker 2: that defense full on the play, Cup takes a step
- 17:30Speaker 2: three step drop, looking grows inside the five, touchdown for
- 17:34Speaker 2: the Colts and it's toudowns across the goal line.
- 17:38Speaker 8: Touchdown.
- 17:39Speaker 3: I E. D.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Why and the Colts now are on top twelve to
- 17:44Speaker 2: three man. Philip Rivers came off the couts. It came
- 17:47Speaker 2: out here throwing dimes, Hutchdowns, goes across the field, he
- 17:51Speaker 2: sees them, gets the ball to him. I love how
- 17:53Speaker 2: he gets it to him for six Rivers and the
- 17:58Speaker 2: Colts playing host of the Niners on Monday Night football.
- 18:00Speaker 2: Rivers coming up just short last week in Seattle, Indie
- 18:04Speaker 2: in must win mode to keep the playoff hopes alive.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Do they maintain that liveliness.
- 18:09Speaker 4: Card they do not win this week, they will not
- 18:12Speaker 4: be eliminated though this week, and they will keep it
- 18:15Speaker 4: closer than that big number indicate twenty two to twenty.
- 18:19Speaker 4: I liked the defensive effort from the Colts last week,
- 18:21Speaker 4: but I also liked what I started to see from
- 18:24Speaker 4: Philip Rivers.
- 18:25Speaker 6: Okay, now everyone this week was like, Hey, I hate
- 18:27Speaker 6: to be the spoil sport, but I got to be
- 18:29Speaker 6: the truth teller. He actually didn't play that well last
- 18:32Speaker 6: week in this guy like no kidding.
- 18:35Speaker 4: They had a lead late in the game where he
- 18:38Speaker 4: led the offense to a leading field goal, so they
- 18:41Speaker 4: could have won that game. He was managing. You know what,
- 18:43Speaker 4: He might actually get better at forty four years old
- 18:46Speaker 4: with another week to get it going, and they can't
- 18:48Speaker 4: rush the passers. So I think Phil plays well this week,
- 18:51Speaker 4: But ultimately I do love that forty nine ers offense
- 18:53Speaker 4: and they win by.
- 18:53Speaker 3: Just a little I don't know how to follow that
- 18:55Speaker 3: because I don't know who you were impersonating, but it
- 18:57Speaker 3: was just a.
- 18:57Speaker 2: Lot of people like great.
- 18:59Speaker 4: They I'm really sorry to point out Philip Rivers didn't
- 19:02Speaker 4: play that well.
- 19:02Speaker 2: Thank you, truth teller, bold troof color voice.
- 19:05Speaker 3: Yeah, well, I think the truth teller is actually George Kittle,
- 19:08Speaker 3: who he sums up pretty much this whole Niner season
- 19:11Speaker 3: for me with one tweet. Have a look at it,
- 19:13Speaker 3: so it says he's just that Jesus Christ lizard running
- 19:17Speaker 3: on water, no ball security, fake pitching.
- 19:19Speaker 5: It at the end of a forty yard rum. Absolutely
- 19:22Speaker 5: just diabolical behavior. Bry ur qb one, I love it.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Let's look at the play here, because you do need
- 19:27Speaker 3: to have to watch us. Okay, so obviously he drops back,
- 19:30Speaker 3: he's looking to throw, and nothing's open. He scrambles to
- 19:32Speaker 3: the left.
- 19:33Speaker 5: Oh I'm gonna faked you again, And now what's gonna happen?
- 19:36Speaker 5: Oh yeah, no, no, you can't bring me down.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Oh sorry, sorry, Cody Burton, I apologize for Biffy and
- 19:41Speaker 3: then he walks up to revers like, I don't know
- 19:43Speaker 3: what I did, man, so he told everyone after he apologized,
- 19:47Speaker 3: look at this you Nope. My point is is they're
- 19:50Speaker 3: quietly a very very fun team and a very like
- 19:54Speaker 3: they're doing it with players.
- 19:56Speaker 5: We some of their defensive players.
- 19:57Speaker 3: I have a hard time pronouncing their names because they
- 19:59Speaker 3: weren't in that thing they give us at the beginning
- 20:01Speaker 3: of the season with the pronunciation guy.
- 20:02Speaker 5: And yet they're still in a position where they could
- 20:04Speaker 5: easily at least I.
- 20:06Speaker 3: Mean, they're going to make the playoffs, but they could
- 20:08Speaker 3: even potentially be the one seat still, which is bananas,
- 20:11Speaker 3: if they.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Win in the division. So I'm looking at them.
- 20:13Speaker 3: I just think it's a lot more fun than maybe
- 20:16Speaker 3: we've been giving it credible. I don't know what a
- 20:18Speaker 3: Jesus Christ lizard is, but I'm in.
- 20:21Speaker 6: I'm in.
- 20:21Speaker 5: I don't know what it is, but I'm in.
- 20:23Speaker 2: I'll get the full taxonomy for you, which you know
- 20:25Speaker 2: my predilection for looking things up. Yeah, it's running, and
- 20:29Speaker 2: of course it doesn't have the necessary weight to penetrate
- 20:31Speaker 2: the waters either way, No.
- 20:33Speaker 5: Got it, got it. It's going so fast that it
- 20:36Speaker 5: doesn't sink.
- 20:36Speaker 2: I understand now, It's just just like brop party and
- 20:39Speaker 2: the team managing to not sink despite all of those
- 20:42Speaker 2: injuries that they've had this season, including for Juwan Jennings.
- 20:45Speaker 2: I've got the forty nine Ers winning twenty three to eighteen,
- 20:47Speaker 2: and he scored a touchdown. Jennings has in four of
- 20:51Speaker 2: his last five games. He had two against the Tennessee
- 20:53Speaker 2: Titans last week, and he trails CMC by thirty four targets.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Because you know, the amount of they rely on Christian
- 21:00Speaker 2: is on slipananas. But if you'd like another Niner who's
- 21:03Speaker 2: at the team on his back when he's able to play,
- 21:05Speaker 2: look no further than Juwan Jennings. Just eight again, a
- 21:09Speaker 2: team that's gonna be around, gonna be in the postseason
- 21:14Speaker 2: depending on how things go.
- 21:15Speaker 6: I really might be playing for that one seed.
- 21:17Speaker 5: They truly could be.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Yeah, which is all available because we can do the math.
- 21:22Speaker 2: So let's do some more math. Jonathan Taylor has slowed
- 21:25Speaker 2: down for the past few weeks. Cynthia. Does he go
- 21:28Speaker 2: for over ninety four yards in this one?
- 21:30Speaker 3: I do think he does not, because I think it's
- 21:32Speaker 3: gonna look great. But we are missing a ton of
- 21:34Speaker 3: pieces from the forty nine ers defense. We are seeing
- 21:37Speaker 3: a lot of volume to Jonathan Taylor, that is a
- 21:40Speaker 3: smart way to you know, put to rest some of
- 21:42Speaker 3: those guys who to be the truth to I love
- 21:44Speaker 3: that person. That voice needs to call me and just
- 21:46Speaker 3: like hang out with me later. So I think Jonathan
- 21:48Speaker 3: Taylor does.
- 21:49Speaker 5: Have a big day.
- 21:50Speaker 2: It's not for the reid presented by Microsoft co Pilot.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Microsoft Copilot, your AI companion for NFL Game Day and
- 21:56Speaker 2: every day, we ask Copilot to pick the one player
- 21:58Speaker 2: that could thick flip the momentum of the Bucks Panthers
- 22:02Speaker 2: game and co pilot with Baker. Mayfield Likes's ability to
- 22:05Speaker 2: extend plays and make clutch throws under pressure. Worth noting,
- 22:08Speaker 2: it's a revenge game for Baker who played for a
- 22:12Speaker 2: hot second in Carolina. Things didn't necessarily go well, Matt
- 22:15Speaker 2: rules coach, and that would be the Baker revenge game.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Bucks and Panthers battling from the top spot in the
- 22:20Speaker 2: NFC South. These teams played twice in the next three weeks.
- 22:23Speaker 2: So how does round one go, Cynthia, I think the.
- 22:26Speaker 3: Bucks take this one twenty five to twenty one. I
- 22:28Speaker 3: want to point out something here that you don't see
- 22:31Speaker 3: this very often, and this is from their coach.
- 22:33Speaker 5: So just have a look here.
- 22:35Speaker 2: You can't sugar coach that was in the excusable and
- 22:39Speaker 2: he has no pansom for it.
- 22:42Speaker 3: There are ten bleeps, ten explatives. I believe they all
- 22:45Speaker 3: begin with the same letter. And I'm looking at that
- 22:47Speaker 3: and that is not normal Todd Bowles behavior, which is
- 22:50Speaker 3: it's just strange, and either is what's going on with
- 22:52Speaker 3: their defense specifically. So I believe that when you have
- 22:56Speaker 3: a leader like Todd Bowles and you have him say
- 22:59Speaker 3: publicly so many swear words, you're gonna get the.
- 23:02Speaker 5: Best out of the player going forward.
- 23:03Speaker 3: This is a situation where like, I don't want to
- 23:06Speaker 3: mess you.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Put that in the model like Todd bow swear words
- 23:09Speaker 4: divided by I.
- 23:11Speaker 5: Mean, I should Todd.
- 23:12Speaker 3: But when you act out of character like that in
- 23:14Speaker 3: a very passionate way, it's kind of like new coach syndrome,
- 23:17Speaker 3: right like where you get like this fire lit under
- 23:19Speaker 3: your bump. Also, it helps that you know, Mike Evans
- 23:21Speaker 3: all the players could be back. That's very helpful as well.
- 23:25Speaker 3: So I'm looking at the bucks and all those swear words,
- 23:27Speaker 3: and I think that they managed to get it done
- 23:29Speaker 3: by four points.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you, Cynthia. I've got a two point
- 23:32Speaker 2: Buccaneers win here. I would like to pick the Carolina Panthers.
- 23:35Speaker 2: There's just a couple of things that are pushing me
- 23:37Speaker 2: away from that circumstance, and they both involve this Bucks
- 23:40Speaker 2: defense and the Panthers offense. Bryce Young When he throws
- 23:44Speaker 2: the ball against the Blitz, the results have not been good.
- 23:46Speaker 2: It's been a seventy nine passer rating, six touchdowns, five interceptions.
- 23:50Speaker 2: That combined with the fact that Jamel Dean is probably
- 23:53Speaker 2: considering the sides of the field they normally play on
- 23:55Speaker 2: gonna be lined up over Tetoroa McMillan, and you've got
- 23:58Speaker 2: to go back to twenty eighteen to find a guy
- 24:00Speaker 2: with a lower passer rating when targeted downfield. I've got
- 24:04Speaker 2: the Bucks winning and making Todd Bowles feel a little
- 24:06Speaker 2: bit better for I.
- 24:07Speaker 6: Do as well.
- 24:08Speaker 4: This concerns me because just when you think the Panthers
- 24:11Speaker 4: are gonna lose, that's when they figure it out. But
- 24:14Speaker 4: I got the Bucks winning twenty one to seventeen in
- 24:16Speaker 4: par Because what are the Panthers.
- 24:18Speaker 6: I don't know what they are.
- 24:19Speaker 4: I thought they were a good running team, like that's
- 24:22Speaker 4: their identity. Right, offensive line and running over the last
- 24:26Speaker 4: month plus since they're by they are twenty ninth in the.
- 24:29Speaker 6: NFL and EPA per rush thirtieth in success.
- 24:32Speaker 4: Right, I'm showing you a negative running game Carolina snuff
- 24:37Speaker 4: film right now, and they just can't.
- 24:39Speaker 6: Get anything done.
- 24:40Speaker 4: If football guys have taught me one things over the years,
- 24:42Speaker 4: it's like, you need to run the ball, you need
- 24:44Speaker 4: to stop the run. And the Carolina Panthers are bottom
- 24:46Speaker 4: five in both categories over the last month, and I
- 24:49Speaker 4: just think that they would be tougher upfront.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Dude, he just had another character Telly voice and tough
- 24:54Speaker 3: guy voice, sun It tough.
- 24:55Speaker 5: Guy voice and then football guy voice. I mean, we've
- 24:58Speaker 5: got so much.
- 24:58Speaker 4: Going very the tough guy voice very similar like Mark Schlareth.
- 25:01Speaker 4: You know you got you gotta run the ball, you
- 25:03Speaker 4: got stop the run.
- 25:06Speaker 2: The good stink impersonation from Greg so. Higher stakes Lower

- 25:22Speaker 2: the Wells Fargo Active Cash credit card let's make some
- 25:25Speaker 2: quick picks here on game debut Raiders and Texans in Hetown.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Houston has won sixth straight. Greg Rosenthal famously makes a
- 25:31Speaker 2: statement sometimes with scores, I'm interested to know what score
- 25:34Speaker 2: you have for this.
- 25:35Speaker 4: This statement here is by the Raiders defense who picks
- 25:38Speaker 4: up a safety as part of a twenty six to
- 25:41Speaker 4: five loss. Only three points on offense, But good job
- 25:44Speaker 4: by Max Crosby. Unfortunately, the Texans offense is playing too
- 25:48Speaker 4: well to really for the Raiders to deal with.
- 25:50Speaker 6: How about this play from Nicocollins and CJ. Stroud right
- 25:54Speaker 6: out the gate last week.
- 25:55Speaker 4: If you had the Texans like Cynthia did, winning big,
- 25:58Speaker 4: you felt good.
- 25:59Speaker 6: Nico Collins one of the best receivers.
- 26:00Speaker 5: How many yards you have on that?
- 26:02Speaker 6: Over fifty fifty two?
- 26:04Speaker 5: But if it was seventy five or more, that's more
- 26:06Speaker 5: than the Raiders had in their entire.
- 26:07Speaker 4: Game less well, and it's absolutely outrageous. And Nico did
- 26:10Speaker 4: go over seventy five gone the game. He is playing
- 26:12Speaker 4: elite ball. And it is so great to see c J.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Stroud with some protection looking like one of the best
- 26:17Speaker 4: quarterbacks in the league.
- 26:18Speaker 6: They went easy.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Yeah, let's go in to the Bengals and Dolphins, with
- 26:21Speaker 2: the quarterback situations not necessarily great for the Dolphins to
- 26:24Speaker 2: a talk about Little getting benched for quinn Ewers, both
- 26:27Speaker 2: teams out of the playoff race. Who feels a little
- 26:29Speaker 2: bit better after this?
- 26:30Speaker 3: Cincinnati feels better? Twenty eight to twenty one is my
- 26:33Speaker 3: final score. I'm looking at Joe Burrow, and last week
- 26:35Speaker 3: was a weird one. All these fantasy people getting mad
- 26:38Speaker 3: in my playoffs.
- 26:38Speaker 5: Joe Burrow let me down, boob, it doesn't matter. It's
- 26:40Speaker 5: gonna be fine.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Now now I've added another character like the very youthful
- 26:44Speaker 3: fantasy player. But I'm looking at Joe Burrow's ability to
- 26:47Speaker 3: diagnose and figure out the defense.
- 26:49Speaker 5: It seems like there's potentially I'm gonna call it a fire.
- 26:51Speaker 6: Sale in Miami.
- 26:53Speaker 5: Let's who's like some finance terms. It's maybe it's not great.
- 26:57Speaker 3: Things aren't don't feel great there, vibes aren't strong. So
- 27:00Speaker 3: I think Joe Burrow has a strong game.
- 27:02Speaker 4: Oh and yet her I thought my season was gonna
- 27:04Speaker 4: be then he came back, and he looks so good
- 27:06Speaker 4: when you get on the playoffs.
- 27:07Speaker 2: The voice episode of Game debut, Let's go to a
- 27:10Speaker 2: bird Fest in the desert, the Falcons and Cardinals. I
- 27:12Speaker 2: will ride solo here with the Atlanta Falcons. I think
- 27:16Speaker 2: they win by two twenty five for twenty three Airzon Cardinals.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Folks have given up the most rushing yards in the
- 27:21Speaker 2: NFL since Week ten. They're playing against John Robinson, who, yeah,
- 27:26Speaker 2: is one of the top running backs in the NFL.
- 27:28Speaker 2: I'm sure you're pretty familiar with his game. And also,
- 27:31Speaker 2: Kirk Cousins is doing what he does and that set
- 27:33Speaker 2: himself up for the best payday available. That's why Todd
- 27:36Speaker 2: Bowles was stringing expletives because once again Kirk Cousins is
- 27:40Speaker 2: dis en up his defense. And yeah, it's Kirk tom
- 27:43Speaker 2: It's that time of year.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Here comes pressure Minshew Stance Tall throws downfield Turwit James
- 27:52Speaker 1: and the game derwin, and the game.
- 27:55Speaker 7: Derwin second consecutive week.
- 28:00Speaker 1: The Chargers end the game on an interception.
- 28:04Speaker 7: For all intents and purposes, the Chiefs are not going
- 28:07Speaker 7: to be part of the postseason for the first time
- 28:09Speaker 7: since twenty fourteen.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Now it's the Chargers in Cowboys and Arlington. Dallas has
- 28:15Speaker 2: a one percent chance to make the playoffs. According to
- 28:17Speaker 2: Next ten sets, the Bolts just beat last year's Super
- 28:20Speaker 2: Bowl teams and back to back weeks. Do they beat
- 28:23Speaker 2: the other team that beat last year's Super Bowl teams
- 28:25Speaker 2: and back to back weeks? Are there this season?
- 28:27Speaker 3: Whatever answer means that the Bolts win by one point
- 28:30Speaker 3: is the answer that I'm going with.
- 28:32Speaker 5: Twenty six to twenty five is my score in this one.
- 28:35Speaker 3: I just want to talk about lad McConkie because if
- 28:37Speaker 3: you look at the opportunity against this Dallas defense, especially
- 28:40Speaker 3: if they're missing any pieces up rn, of course they are.
- 28:43Speaker 5: You know, we don't know if Quinn Williams will play.
- 28:45Speaker 3: He's been in the concussion protocol, but things get better
- 28:47Speaker 3: first quarterback if he doesn't have to deal with that pressure.
- 28:50Speaker 3: We know justin Hert's been under just a ton of pressure,
- 28:52Speaker 3: the most hits, the most pressures in.
- 28:54Speaker 5: The league, and tied to most sacks.
- 28:55Speaker 3: But lad McConkie will create separation in a secondary that
- 28:59Speaker 3: has been some games on a milk card. So I'm
- 29:02Speaker 3: looking for a big game out of the second year receiver.
- 29:05Speaker 3: I think this will be a fun one if you're
- 29:07Speaker 3: a Chargers fan, perhaps a little frustrating if.
- 29:09Speaker 5: You are a Dallas Cowboys fan.
- 29:11Speaker 4: So often you know you focus on the negative them
- 29:14Speaker 4: giving up a lot of pressure. How about the pressure
- 29:16Speaker 4: that the Los Angeles Chargers are creating on defense.
- 29:19Speaker 6: This is a defense first team.
- 29:22Speaker 4: I like the Chargers to win this game twenty three
- 29:24Speaker 4: to twenty one in part because of Khalil mack A,
- 29:29Speaker 4: Dafeoay Tully, Tully Polow two.
- 29:31Speaker 5: Good job.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Look the first two names I said there rather Mac
- 29:35Speaker 4: and Tully Polow two. They are among the top ten
- 29:37Speaker 4: pass rushers in a number of metrics in terms of
- 29:40Speaker 4: tackles for loss, pressures, sacks like it's as good a
- 29:43Speaker 4: duo as there is basically in the league. And then
- 29:47Speaker 4: you add Oay in and a lot of times last
- 29:49Speaker 4: week they're just rushing those three players and no one else,
- 29:52Speaker 4: and Oway is rushing in the interior. You're dropping eight
- 29:55Speaker 4: into coverage, and they're creating pressure just the three of them.
- 29:58Speaker 4: Consider the mathematical advantage that is creating, and I think
- 30:02Speaker 4: they could do it on Sunday against a Cowboys team
- 30:05Speaker 4: that is not protecting Dak Prescott as well.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Right now, Yeah, that would be four straight wins for
- 30:10Speaker 2: the Chargers, which I also have them getting in the offense.
- 30:14Speaker 2: We do have some concerns about the Chargers offense, but
- 30:17Speaker 2: those concerns all drift away when you face the twenty
- 30:19Speaker 2: twenty five Dallas Cowboys d They've given up more passing
- 30:22Speaker 2: yards than anyone else, despite being eleventh in terms of
- 30:26Speaker 2: number of attempts that they've faced from opposing quarterbacks who
- 30:30Speaker 2: have a passer rating of one hundred and nine. The
- 30:32Speaker 2: film thirty one touchdowns to only six interceptions, essentially like
- 30:37Speaker 2: nineteen ninety seven Brett farv numbers by the quarterbacks that
- 30:40Speaker 2: have played against the Dallas Cowboys defense, except the Cowboys
- 30:45Speaker 2: haven't gotten any of the interceptions that far have, like
- 30:47Speaker 2: the toss to the other.
- 30:48Speaker 6: Teams Ranny drive by for five.
- 30:50Speaker 2: No, well, maybe he's earned it. The Cowboys loss last
- 30:53Speaker 2: week provided the Eagles the inside track to the NFC
- 30:56Speaker 2: East Crown Philly has had their struggles recently, but they
- 30:58Speaker 2: got the hottest gift of the holiday season on the schedule.
- 31:01Speaker 2: The Raiders hurts calling for the football. He's back again,
- 31:08Speaker 2: he looks, he fires, and it is complete touchdown. Hey
- 31:13Speaker 2: J Brown twenty seven yards.
- 31:16Speaker 7: Boy, that's just such harmony, the rhythm, the timing, the
- 31:20Speaker 7: placement of the football.
- 31:22Speaker 2: It's a play you can't even stop Philly, heading to
- 31:26Speaker 2: the Nation's Capitol and take on the Commander's Saturday. Washington's
- 31:29Speaker 2: shelf Jayden Daniels earlier this week, so Smarcus Mario starting
- 31:33Speaker 2: once again for Washington. They've been in some games, Greg,
- 31:36Speaker 2: are they in this one?
- 31:37Speaker 4: They are not because I think the Eagles defense is
- 31:40Speaker 4: so good. They keep the score low. It's thirty to nine.
- 31:43Speaker 4: But it's the offense of the Eagles that I really
- 31:46Speaker 4: like lately. If you saw what Jalen Hurts did against
- 31:49Speaker 4: the Raiders, and yes it is the Raiders, but let's
- 31:51Speaker 4: be real, the Commander's defense isn't that much better. They
- 31:54Speaker 4: got under center and that can help open up the
- 31:57Speaker 4: run game, but it really opened up Jalen Hurts and
- 31:59Speaker 4: the passing game in terms of the diversity of what
- 32:02Speaker 4: they can do. The top three games this year, Cynthia,
- 32:07Speaker 4: I'm which they were under send it you want to
- 32:09Speaker 4: know which three offensive performances were the very best. Yes,
- 32:12Speaker 4: in terms of EPA per playoff season, the three where
- 32:15Speaker 4: they were under center the most. It's a one to
- 32:17Speaker 4: one correlation causation. I think we can make the combination
- 32:21Speaker 4: Jalen Hurts, get him out of the shotgun we're gonna
- 32:24Speaker 4: do it against Washington.
- 32:25Speaker 3: Causation correlation combination. We have like a full news segment here.
- 32:29Speaker 6: I love it.
- 32:30Speaker 3: I too have the Eagles winning. I have it a
- 32:32Speaker 3: little bit closer twenty six to twenty though.
- 32:35Speaker 6: Why.
- 32:35Speaker 3: I don't think it's like some weird thing where it's
- 32:37Speaker 3: a very close fuck game. I think it's like one
- 32:39Speaker 3: of those last minute strange things that happen. I want
- 32:42Speaker 3: to see Saquon Barkley continue to be effective and useful
- 32:45Speaker 3: for this team.
- 32:46Speaker 5: I know he had a stinger.
- 32:47Speaker 3: I think he's off the injury report as of this recording.
- 32:49Speaker 3: I think he's going to play. So I'm looking at
- 32:51Speaker 3: his opportunity to kind of be the guy in the
- 32:54Speaker 3: playoffs that this team needs him to be. They need
- 32:56Speaker 3: to figure it out, especially with Lane Johnson out yet
- 32:59Speaker 3: again in this matchup, they're going to need to figure out, Okay,
- 33:02Speaker 3: what are the.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Run principles that were to look at? This offense has
- 33:05Speaker 5: been weird, They've had some weirdness.
- 33:07Speaker 3: Things have been odd, But I think the thing that
- 33:09Speaker 3: is a stabilizing force would be getting sake one Barkley going,
- 33:12Speaker 3: especially as they look towards the postseason.
- 33:15Speaker 2: I also it's unanimous. I have the Philadelphia Eagles. I've
- 33:18Speaker 2: got one more point than Cithy. I do have that
- 33:20Speaker 2: number of seven twenty six to nineteen. And yeah, it's
- 33:23Speaker 2: the Eagles defense and a big part of it being
- 33:25Speaker 2: Quenyon Mitchell. So I'm gonna talk Quenyon Mitchell because you
- 33:28Speaker 2: could watch five Eagles.
- 33:29Speaker 5: Games and never see him exactly.
- 33:33Speaker 2: He's given up seven completions since the week nine. By
- 33:38Speaker 2: that's as many past defend that passes defended as he
- 33:41Speaker 2: had nine. When you throw the ball at Quenyon Mitchell,
- 33:46Speaker 2: equal likelihood, he's gonna get the ball. His anthem the
- 33:49Speaker 2: ball as the player call. It's good.
- 33:53Speaker 6: It's a great, great defensive. You come up with that stat?
- 33:55Speaker 6: Or was that next gen? Because that's pretty next.
- 33:57Speaker 2: That's a next gen stat that's insight from NFL pro
- 34:00Speaker 2: Because yeah, I just wanted to talk to Quenyon Mitchell
- 34:03Speaker 2: confirmed my priors. So which one I need from statistics
- 34:06Speaker 2: to make me feel good about the things I already feel.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I don't look now but nine and the Vikings have
- 34:10Speaker 2: won two games in a row.
- 34:12Speaker 3: J J.
- 34:12Speaker 2: McCarthy has he officially turned the corner? He said, well,
- 34:15Speaker 2: he's got a fun match up with Jackson Dark and
- 34:18Speaker 2: the g met Our picks for Vikings, Giants, and the
- 34:21Speaker 2: rest of this weekend slate. Coming up next on game debut.
- 34:33Speaker 3: Sh.
- 34:35Speaker 2: In Stride and a Beauty, What a Row? What a Cat?
- 34:39Speaker 8: Shiney, And that's Philip Rivers with a touchdown pass Man
- 34:54Speaker 8: Knocks has a newborn beyonditary, beyond guitar.
- 35:09Speaker 5: But hay to the barn.
- 35:19Speaker 2: Folks. This Christmas unwrapped all day football with the NFL
- 35:23Speaker 2: Holiday Games featuring Cowboys versus Commanders and Lions versus Vikings
- 35:27Speaker 2: on Netflix, then a primetime showdown on Prime Video Broncos
- 35:31Speaker 2: versus Chiefs, three games, one epic Holiday. For the full schedule,
- 35:35Speaker 2: visit watch dot NFL dot com. Here on our show,
- 35:39Speaker 2: it's time for quick picks. Let's start with the Vikings,
- 35:42Speaker 2: who beat those Dallas Cowboys and the Giants. It's nine
- 35:45Speaker 2: versus Dart should be a fun one. Minnesota's won two
- 35:48Speaker 2: in a row. Do they make it three cent.
- 35:49Speaker 6: In they do?
- 35:51Speaker 3: I'm kind of surprising my model picking just a two
- 35:53Speaker 3: point win for Minnesota in this one twenty to twenty.
- 35:56Speaker 3: But let's talk about nine here for a second, because
- 35:59Speaker 3: he's had some really interesting Now, I don't know if
- 36:01Speaker 3: I really like this move because he was trying to
- 36:03Speaker 3: get the top down to Justin Jefferson to do the
- 36:06Speaker 3: actual greedy but like it did work. But ultimately what
- 36:08Speaker 3: we're seeing is the thing that does matter as in
- 36:11Speaker 3: scoring the touchdowns. That is what he is able to do. Also,
- 36:16Speaker 3: I saw CJ. Ham score a touchdown for them in
- 36:18Speaker 3: the red area this week. So if you're looking for
- 36:19Speaker 3: a quarterback that potentially could be a good fantasy pickup for.
- 36:22Speaker 5: You, maybe JJ McCarthy runs it in on this one,
- 36:24Speaker 5: because if you're looking at CJ.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Hamp, I'm thinking maybe they're going to be creative in
- 36:28Speaker 3: the red area with runs in and you know you
- 36:30Speaker 3: can run on. I promise the Giants defense that I
- 36:33Speaker 3: would talk about how bad their run defense is until
- 36:35Speaker 3: they fix it.
- 36:35Speaker 5: They're not fixing it.
- 36:36Speaker 6: So I have to mention it.
- 36:37Speaker 2: Yeah, promise kept and we all oddly enough having the
- 36:40Speaker 2: Giants with exactly twenty points. The Bills and Browns Buffalo
- 36:43Speaker 2: came back from down twenty one last week to beat
- 36:45Speaker 2: your patriots. Greg, do they roll here?
- 36:47Speaker 6: They do?
- 36:48Speaker 4: And they do it because of the ground game against
- 36:50Speaker 4: a good Browns defense, And I think Josh Allen is
- 36:53Speaker 4: quietly building that case. He's in the MVP conversation Patrick
- 36:58Speaker 4: Claybon is adding points week after week, and I think
- 37:00Speaker 4: you should get extra points by taking out one of
- 37:03Speaker 4: the best defenses in the league. He has just put
- 37:05Speaker 4: his cape on. They've been pressing the button. In that
- 37:08Speaker 4: game against the Bengals, it was an incredible comeback against
- 37:11Speaker 4: the Patriots, and I just feel like, end of the season,
- 37:15Speaker 4: Josh Allen is the best player in the world and
- 37:18Speaker 4: if he just keeps doing that week after week, forget
- 37:22Speaker 4: the narratives.
- 37:22Speaker 6: Maybe they just give him the award at the end
- 37:24Speaker 6: because he's just that kid.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Let's go to the Jets and says, don't look now,
- 37:28Speaker 2: but New Orleans has won two in a row. Do
- 37:29Speaker 2: they make it three in a rows?
- 37:30Speaker 6: Of they do?
- 37:31Speaker 3: I actually really like this one this week. I have
- 37:33Speaker 3: a five point win for the Saints twenty four to nineteen.
- 37:36Speaker 3: I think Tyler Shuck is really making the case that
- 37:39Speaker 3: he's the quarterback for them to build around for next season.
- 37:42Speaker 3: I'm looking at his ability to just really make things
- 37:45Speaker 3: happen with his legs. He's finding receivers with a lot
- 37:48Speaker 3: of open grass in front of them.
- 37:50Speaker 6: To run.
- 37:50Speaker 3: They beat the Panthers, who don't know who the Panthers are,
- 37:53Speaker 3: but at least Tyler Shuck does because they beat them
- 37:55Speaker 3: both times this season.
- 37:57Speaker 5: So I'm looking at Tyler Shuck and saying, you.
- 37:59Speaker 3: Know, he started like really maybe when we were doing
- 38:02Speaker 3: like our draft evaluation, I like, I liked his ability.
- 38:05Speaker 3: We look at his Louisville film and map it out here.
- 38:07Speaker 3: Perhaps that's something we're next season. They can make it
- 38:10Speaker 3: even better for him, give him more, surround him with
- 38:12Speaker 3: more to work with.
- 38:14Speaker 4: I didn't like him much, and I'm taking that l early.
- 38:17Speaker 4: I thought he would struggle against pressure. He had all
- 38:20Speaker 4: the injuries. He's an older rookie quarterback.
- 38:23Speaker 5: Old people are cool, and you know what, he looks.
- 38:25Speaker 4: Like, a very athletic, ready to go quarterback who's not
- 38:29Speaker 4: afraid to make throws at the tight windows.
- 38:32Speaker 2: And also direct the same situation, because watching the Louisville take,
- 38:36Speaker 2: you see a guy who was dealing with those injuries.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Maybe he was still dealing with them because he's moving
- 38:40Speaker 2: around really great, running the ball very well here down
- 38:42Speaker 2: the stretch for the Saints. Let's go to the Chiefs
- 38:44Speaker 2: and Titans case eliminated from playoff contention last week, Patrick
- 38:48Speaker 2: Mahomes has been placed on IR. The surgery is pending,
- 38:51Speaker 2: and I think Tennessee actually gets the win here by
- 38:54Speaker 2: a score of nineteen seventeen. I am fine being by
- 38:56Speaker 2: myself because I wonder just how much are we gonna
- 39:01Speaker 2: invest in these veteran Chiefs players playing late into the
- 39:04Speaker 2: season where they've been eliminated from playoff contention. You're watching
- 39:07Speaker 2: this ground game and how it's operated with Patrick Mahomes
- 39:11Speaker 2: were the most explosive runner for the Kansas City Chiefs,
- 39:14Speaker 2: was wearing fifteen, the MVPs, the Super Bowl MVPs, everything
- 39:18Speaker 2: that Patrick Mahomes has been able to do, he was
- 39:20Speaker 2: doing all of it for the Chiefs this season. I
- 39:22Speaker 2: don't know if Gardner Minshew duplicates that, and I understand
- 39:25Speaker 2: it's against the Titans. I'm fine.
- 39:28Speaker 4: There's been a lot of new ground, a lot of
- 39:30Speaker 4: low moments for the chief this season. I think being
- 39:33Speaker 4: the very last game mentioned in the E block of
- 39:36Speaker 4: this show with Patrick taking the two win Titans over
- 39:39Speaker 4: them like that is that is new territory.
- 39:42Speaker 6: The Chiefs have not been here.
- 39:43Speaker 3: I think the Chiefs defense is still the best unit
- 39:45Speaker 3: in this game, so that's why I think a lower
- 39:47Speaker 3: scoring game.
- 39:47Speaker 5: But the Chiefs sneak it out.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Min I'm on Mitch Hols. This's list of dollars and
- 39:54Speaker 2: disrespectors in the Kansas City Chiefs, So I don't think
- 39:56Speaker 2: it's anything. It's strange with regards to that coming up.
- 39:59Speaker 2: You don't have to go home, but you can't stay here.
- 40:01Speaker 2: Shout out to the simmy side. It's not for the
- 40:03Speaker 2: final blow. Well, write this down a segment featuring our
- 40:06Speaker 2: favorite prop bets of the week. I know who I
- 40:10Speaker 2: want to take me home? Take me home, Greg Rose, Adalph.
- 40:13Speaker 2: That's some picks for write this down. Our game debut
- 40:16Speaker 2: coming up next on NFL No.
- 40:17Speaker 6: One.
- 40:25Speaker 2: Time for us to write this down as into our
- 40:27Speaker 2: favorite PROMP predictions for Week sixteen that leadoff Grid.
- 40:31Speaker 4: Okay, Justin Herbert this week against the Dallas Cowboys. I
- 40:34Speaker 4: think he's been playing like an MVP, but the numbers
- 40:37Speaker 4: haven't been there lately. This week, it all happens. Not
- 40:40Speaker 4: much of a pass rush for Dallas. I think Herbo
- 40:43Speaker 4: goes god mode. He goes over three hundred yards, so
- 40:45Speaker 4: he definitely goes over two forty four and to me,
- 40:48Speaker 4: he's on my MVP ballot, not the winner, but you
- 40:50Speaker 4: vote one through five. He's in my top five, and
- 40:53Speaker 4: I think he puts some numbers behind him.
- 40:55Speaker 3: I'm glad I get a vote. Anyways, I'm looking at
- 40:58Speaker 3: Jamar Chase. He doesn't see the end zone.
- 40:59Speaker 6: A while.
- 41:00Speaker 5: We had that weird game from Joe Brow. I don't
- 41:02Speaker 5: care he's gonna score a touchdown against the Dolphin. I
- 41:04Speaker 5: know last week Joe Brow's like, I don't know if
- 41:06Speaker 5: I want to do this, blah blah blah blah blah.
- 41:08Speaker 5: It doesn't matter. Merry Christmas. Get in the end zone
- 41:10Speaker 5: for Uno.
- 41:11Speaker 4: Now this is the big one because Patrick Clayban is
- 41:13Speaker 4: twelve and four, let's gotten write this down this year,
- 41:16Speaker 4: and seventeen and nine on Stray Bond.
- 41:18Speaker 6: So this is the big one. Here we go.
- 41:20Speaker 2: I mean, honestly, they're all big, they're all important, and
- 41:22Speaker 2: I think that Filks have been given an opportunity because
- 41:25Speaker 2: you go back, it hasn't happened since the game against
- 41:28Speaker 2: the Dallas Cowboys. That's Devonsa Smith going ohy receiving yards,
- 41:33Speaker 2: and because it hasn't happened since then, the number gets
- 41:35Speaker 2: all the way down the sixties. So I think it's
- 41:37Speaker 2: a great opportunity for you to get another chance. For
- 41:39Speaker 2: Debonza Smith, I guess another secondary that's had its share
- 41:42Speaker 2: of problems.
- 41:43Speaker 5: Here in problematic things.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Things haven't necessarily gone great, but it's been great for
- 41:48Speaker 2: you to spend time with us here on game debut.
- 41:50Speaker 2: For Cynthia and Greg, I'm Patrick. We'll see you next week.
- 41:52Speaker 2: Enjoy the games, everybody.
