- 0:02Speaker 1: This is Teddy Teapot with Hi guys, Welcome to this
- 0:13Speaker 1: week's Teddy Teapot. One of your most request to guests
- 0:18Speaker 1: was dren Kinsley. Do you think they wanted to request
- 0:22Speaker 1: us because they wanted to see us getting along or
- 0:24Speaker 1: because they wanted to see us calling each other's eyes up.
- 0:27Speaker 1: I feel like it's because there have been, um, you know,
- 0:30Speaker 1: some social media posts where we've been together. People are like,
- 0:33Speaker 1: wait a minute, what's happening, what's going on? We never
- 0:37Speaker 1: saw that, And I mean that's that's a big thing
- 0:40Speaker 1: that people never saw the good part of us. I know,
- 0:44Speaker 1: it's true, like never, and we had a lot of
- 0:46Speaker 1: good times like Durt and I so many times were
- 0:49Speaker 1: up late yep, laughing, hysterical, like so much of that
- 0:53Speaker 1: that you never saw. But also yeah, we did. We
- 0:56Speaker 1: had some not so good times. We did. We did.
- 0:58Speaker 1: They kind of trumped at times. But recently though, and
- 1:02Speaker 1: we'll get into it, I'm sure, Um it's changed. I know,
- 1:07Speaker 1: you know, that's that's nice to be able to show
- 1:09Speaker 1: the world and talk about it. So what everyone's curious
- 1:11Speaker 1: about is like what did change? Like how did that happen?
- 1:14Speaker 1: So I can give my point of a new point
- 1:16Speaker 1: of people. You go first, okay, Well I get to
- 1:18Speaker 1: go first, okay. Um. In my opinion, I think that
- 1:23Speaker 1: you know, when we started out, when we first met
- 1:25Speaker 1: on the show, I felt an instant connection to you.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I just thought, this girl's cool. I mean, and and
- 1:32Speaker 1: you are. You're easy to talk to. You know, you're funny,
- 1:35Speaker 1: you're quick, um, and I really relate to people like that.
- 1:38Speaker 1: And then you know, the showing on and things happened
- 1:43Speaker 1: between us, unfortunate things, um, and then I felt like,
- 1:46Speaker 1: you know, I kind of had my guard up a
- 1:48Speaker 1: little bit, and then you know, I could see through
- 1:51Speaker 1: all of that. Still there's a connection between us, and
- 1:55Speaker 1: I really wanted to get to a place where we
- 1:56Speaker 1: could laugh. But unfortunately, you know, between the pressure of
- 2:00Speaker 1: the show or some other relationships. I'm not really sure
- 2:03Speaker 1: what it is. Things happened and it's unfortunate, and it
- 2:06Speaker 1: really drove a wedge between us, and I would say
- 2:09Speaker 1: from my point of view only until recently, since you've
- 2:13Speaker 1: not been on the show and we've connected outside the show,
- 2:16Speaker 1: I think it's the pressure. You don't have the pressure
- 2:18Speaker 1: of the show, and you and I have gotten back
- 2:20Speaker 1: to the way we started. Yeah, I know, and I
- 2:23Speaker 1: feel the same. And I think, you know, something that's
- 2:26Speaker 1: underlined with doing a show like Housewives is, you know,
- 2:30Speaker 1: even though yes it's authentic, it's a real life. You know,
- 2:34Speaker 1: there's pressure that you're making a show. And Doria and
- 2:37Speaker 1: I are doers in general, so we don't want to
- 2:41Speaker 1: let anybody down. But the problem is in doing that,
- 2:45Speaker 1: we would let each each other down because we were
- 2:47Speaker 1: trying to do the right thing, and you know, it
- 2:50Speaker 1: just got messy. And I have to say that like
- 2:52Speaker 1: where we really turned the corners when I moved over
- 2:55Speaker 1: over here and we're you know, we're neighbors now, honestly
- 2:57Speaker 1: three minutes away. Um uh. We went over to a
- 3:02Speaker 1: party at Kathy Hilton's and then after Dre came over
- 3:05Speaker 1: and I was like tipsy, but I like broke down
- 3:07Speaker 1: to her and I was like really like shed all
- 3:10Speaker 1: the layers and was just like telling her what I
- 3:12Speaker 1: was struggling with the parts that I was hurt and
- 3:15Speaker 1: all of that stuff, and like three was so kind
- 3:19Speaker 1: and like so caring and like I just felt like
- 3:23Speaker 1: I could trust you and I really appreciated that. And
- 3:27Speaker 1: then since then it's like we have not skipped a
- 3:30Speaker 1: beat and we had such a fun night for the
- 3:34Speaker 1: Fox Sports but my god one for the story books.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Like we going into that night, we had no idea
- 3:43Speaker 1: what was coming. No, none. I don't think any of
- 3:46Speaker 1: us expected to have that much fun now or to really,
- 3:50Speaker 1: you know, all feel so vulnerable and to really connect
- 3:52Speaker 1: and to just be together and enjoy being together. Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 1: like when you're filming Housewives, the best time is always
- 3:59Speaker 1: the plan rides because they're they're not filmed, Yes, I know, seriously,
- 4:03Speaker 1: And so it felt like, you know, at first it
- 4:05Speaker 1: kind of fall like that, but then it got it
- 4:07Speaker 1: got to the point where we were like should we
- 4:09Speaker 1: get a room? I know, I know, we didn't want
- 4:11Speaker 1: to leave. We did not what the lady was like,
- 4:14Speaker 1: you have to go. We closed, We closed the bel
- 4:17Speaker 1: Air Hotel. We closed it down. We didn't want to go,
- 4:20Speaker 1: And like it just brought a different level I think
- 4:24Speaker 1: from everybody, don't you totally, Like everybody shared stuff I
- 4:27Speaker 1: have never even heard. I know, I know we can't
- 4:30Speaker 1: disclose some of the time, but um, but yeah, it
- 4:34Speaker 1: was a really intimate, um wholesome night. You know, we're
- 4:38Speaker 1: like just five friends got together, wholesome you dry home
- 4:42Speaker 1: to me wholesome, wholesome for us. But yes, I did.
- 4:46Speaker 1: I did. I mean that's what happens. I mean he
- 4:48Speaker 1: gave video and posted it first, so he did. And
- 4:51Speaker 1: I'm like that, my god has got like this. He's
- 4:56Speaker 1: got like the trigger finger posting trigger finger. I'm like,
- 4:59Speaker 1: what are you thinking. He's like what what? I'm like, no, no, no, no,
- 5:02Speaker 1: take it down? He is. And Pique is so funny.
- 5:05Speaker 1: It's always says that, like it is like he killed
- 5:08Speaker 1: me that night too. We we wanted music so badly.
- 5:12Speaker 1: We put it on my phone and just turned it up,
- 5:15Speaker 1: like yes, And I don't know that I can ever
- 5:17Speaker 1: walk into that hotel again. No, we can. I think.
- 5:20Speaker 1: First of all, we were in the corner, like in
- 5:22Speaker 1: the corner that everybody walks by to their rooms and
- 5:25Speaker 1: they're like ladies tanting to take it down or not.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Y'all I remember is looking around and there was nobody,
- 5:32Speaker 1: and there was like one waitress that wasn't even giving
- 5:35Speaker 1: us drinks anymore. I was like, where's my drink? She's like, no,
- 5:41Speaker 1: we're closed. No, she goes, if you must, I'll give
- 5:44Speaker 1: you guys one to share. We're like, oh my god,
- 5:47Speaker 1: we've been cut off. We've been cut off at the
- 5:49Speaker 1: bell Air. Oh my god. That was fun. All right.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Next question is what was our favorite trip together? We've
- 5:58Speaker 1: a trip together, you know, Um, we've had good moments
- 6:05Speaker 1: on their trips, but most of our trips together have
- 6:08Speaker 1: nothing have not been good. I would say Provence. Provence,
- 6:12Speaker 1: we had so much fun. But I mean that was
- 6:16Speaker 1: really hard for me. In general. That next day after
- 6:18Speaker 1: the drunk day was really, I know, really tough. Um.
- 6:22Speaker 1: I thought Provence was really fun. I thought after we
- 6:25Speaker 1: were done filming at the beach house was really fun. First,
- 6:30Speaker 1: Oh my god. Yeah, we had a full dance already.
- 6:33Speaker 1: We're like doing car wheels in the sand like that
- 6:36Speaker 1: was really fun. Um. But I don't know if that's
- 6:39Speaker 1: a trip though, I mean we it wasn't in our
- 6:42Speaker 1: homes are at a restaurant here, true. So like Provence
- 6:45Speaker 1: was definitely probably the best time we ever had while
- 6:50Speaker 1: doing Housewives. Yes, yeah, well you know it was. It
- 6:54Speaker 1: was the Fox four five. It came down that's where
- 6:57Speaker 1: the Fox Force five name came from because because everybody
- 7:01Speaker 1: else was gone, I mean Denise and Camille, they couldn't
- 7:04Speaker 1: travel because of the fires in their houses and was
- 7:08Speaker 1: there supposed to be somebody else there or was it
- 7:11Speaker 1: just I love the selective memory? Right now, there was
- 7:14Speaker 1: someone that quit? Yes, that's right, that's right, that's right. Okay,
- 7:19Speaker 1: that's what it is. Okay. See. No, Honestly, Teddy, I
- 7:22Speaker 1: like block things out. I literally deal with like what
- 7:25Speaker 1: I have to deal with it in a given moment,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and I like block out the rest. What would you
- 7:29Speaker 1: say our toughest time was, um? Our toughest time? Um? Goodness?
- 7:39Speaker 1: If you think about the trips that we were on
- 7:41Speaker 1: so Berlin, Provence and where else were we? Berlin, Provence, Bahamas, Bahamas? Right? Um? Well,
- 7:51Speaker 1: I didn't really know in the Bahamas, so you know
- 7:55Speaker 1: I would say that, no, our toughest time. I mean,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I don't know, Teddy. I feel like most of our
- 8:01Speaker 1: most of our tough times were not on the trips,
- 8:04Speaker 1: so I wouldn't say it was a trip. Um. You know,
- 8:08Speaker 1: we've had some really rough moments. I've left feeling as
- 8:11Speaker 1: I'm sure you have, just really really down in the
- 8:15Speaker 1: dumps and crummy and horrible and feeling like how did
- 8:20Speaker 1: you and I get here? You know, I don't really
- 8:23Speaker 1: understand it, um so, but yeah, I can't think of
- 8:27Speaker 1: a specific trip that was so bad, and the looming
- 8:31Speaker 1: question that, of course everyone has to ask about us
- 8:33Speaker 1: late Gate. They want to know what actually happened. Okay,
- 8:39Speaker 1: now I'm going to tell the story as it is,
- 8:44Speaker 1: and then you can tell your version. And this is
- 8:47Speaker 1: as God is my witness. And I've never shared this,
- 8:50Speaker 1: but I promise you hand on my heart, and I
- 8:53Speaker 1: will admit it right now. But this is the truth.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I was in a meeting, a business meeting for Beverly Beach,
- 9:00Speaker 1: and I told production. I said, listen, I can't make
- 9:03Speaker 1: it for the four o'clock. They wanted us to have coffee,
- 9:06Speaker 1: um and get together, and I said, I can't make
- 9:08Speaker 1: it for the four o'clock. I've got this meeting. It's
- 9:10Speaker 1: super important. It's a big design meeting so on. And
- 9:12Speaker 1: they really wanted us to get together, which I understand.
- 9:15Speaker 1: We were new friends. UM. So I said I can't
- 9:17Speaker 1: make it for They said, can you make it for thirty?
- 9:19Speaker 1: I said I can, but I might be a little late.
- 9:22Speaker 1: It's no problem whatsoever. It's totally fine. It's okay. So
- 9:26Speaker 1: my time was supposed to be from at four thirty.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Now I didn't know how long we were going until
- 9:31Speaker 1: I thought it was super casual. We go, we get together,
- 9:34Speaker 1: we have a chat. I'm in the meeting, and it
- 9:37Speaker 1: goes late, as I suspected. And when I left the meeting,
- 9:40Speaker 1: it was four thirty and I called you in the
- 9:41Speaker 1: car and I was like, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I'm late. And I remember you saying something on the
- 9:46Speaker 1: phone like you know, I'm about to leave, and I
- 9:49Speaker 1: thought to myself, my goodness, you know I'm fifteen minutes late.
- 9:52Speaker 1: We're in California. For crying out loud, Okay, I'll be
- 9:55Speaker 1: twenty five minutes, like you know, I'm sorry, but I
- 9:58Speaker 1: figured you were told she might be late. And then
- 10:01Speaker 1: I get there and then I understand, oh no, we
- 10:04Speaker 1: never end up meeting. Yeah, I was right, but afterwards
- 10:08Speaker 1: you said I was an hour late, and that really
- 10:11Speaker 1: threw me into a tizzy because I was like, obviously,
- 10:13Speaker 1: I was not an hour late. I know, but I
- 10:15Speaker 1: couldn't even say really because we were breaking the fourth
- 10:18Speaker 1: wall break I was told four. So I was there,
- 10:22Speaker 1: you know, like I am three fifty five and sitting
- 10:25Speaker 1: there and you have to realize that I'm new to
- 10:27Speaker 1: the show, so I don't really know what happens, and
- 10:30Speaker 1: in real life, if it's four o'clock and somebody's not
- 10:33Speaker 1: there by, you know, you leave, like you're like okay,
- 10:37Speaker 1: you know. So I was like I was looking up
- 10:39Speaker 1: at production and I'm like, what do I do? Guys?
- 10:41Speaker 1: And you know, I'm feeling uncomfortable because I'm like been
- 10:44Speaker 1: sitting there and like nursing that wine. I mean, you've
- 10:46Speaker 1: seen the scene a thousand times of new looking at
- 10:50Speaker 1: my phone like the most awkward human alive, and they're like,
- 10:54Speaker 1: what would you normally do? Teddy? You know when you
- 10:55Speaker 1: get that tone like what would you do? Don't ask us?
- 10:58Speaker 1: And I was like, well, I've got And then that's
- 11:00Speaker 1: when I left. I thought that would never be used,
- 11:04Speaker 1: like this scene was done because it didn't happen. And
- 11:07Speaker 1: then I was filming with it was either Kyle or
- 11:10Speaker 1: LVP the next day I can't remember who, and they
- 11:13Speaker 1: were and they brought it up on camera and I'm like, oh, no,
- 11:16Speaker 1: this is this is happening and I'm like, well no,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I mean that's because she goes Dree said you left
- 11:21Speaker 1: because you were only she was only ten minutes late,
- 11:23Speaker 1: and I'm like no, she's forty five minutes. Like, so
- 11:26Speaker 1: that's really how it all like spiral. So so even
- 11:30Speaker 1: though the drama is a real because it's happening, sometimes
- 11:34Speaker 1: it's like we can't fully explain right why it's drama, right,
- 11:39Speaker 1: and that was why right and different called times like
- 11:43Speaker 1: and then we got to a place where like we
- 11:45Speaker 1: thought we were fine, like we would recap at the
- 11:47Speaker 1: end of the night, do this, and then all of
- 11:50Speaker 1: a sudden we'd watch an episode and realized like, no,
- 11:53Speaker 1: this is bad. Yeah, I know, I know things can
- 11:56Speaker 1: be well. I mean that's welcome to the world of
- 11:58Speaker 1: reality television. I mean we all learn it the hard way,
- 12:01Speaker 1: you know. And when we first start, that was one
- 12:04Speaker 1: of those situations that was a tiny little thing that
- 12:06Speaker 1: blew up into a big thing. But you know what,
- 12:09Speaker 1: it made so much of that season and then people thought,
- 12:13Speaker 1: i mean, listen, you came out something like Roses after that.
- 12:16Speaker 1: I mean, I'm the one it was like, oh, dare
- 12:18Speaker 1: should be an hour late in the area. I'm like,
- 12:20Speaker 1: this is such fucking bullshit, you know, But but I
- 12:24Speaker 1: took it. I took it on the chin. I keep saying,
- 12:26Speaker 1: you know what, I'm not gonna throw production under the bus.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Even though doing that now fine years later, but it's
- 12:32Speaker 1: years later. And you know what, I think, even with
- 12:35Speaker 1: regards to production, it wasn't even their fault because I
- 12:38Speaker 1: think it was like an admin problem. Yeah, there were
- 12:40Speaker 1: so many people in communication. I I don't think that
- 12:44Speaker 1: it don't I don't think it was done deliberately. But
- 12:47Speaker 1: they were thrilled when it happened. Oh god, yeah, oh yeah. Oh,
- 12:50Speaker 1: we have a caller that came in. Uh, Briana, what
- 12:53Speaker 1: do you got for us? Hi? So my question might
- 12:57Speaker 1: be mostly for Deret, but I just wanted to know
- 12:59Speaker 1: how you guys were getting along with Crystal and how
- 13:03Speaker 1: you're getting along with Kathy this season. Um. Well, I
- 13:06Speaker 1: love Kathy. I've known Kathy for about five years. Her
- 13:09Speaker 1: and I have a lot of mutual friends, so I've
- 13:11Speaker 1: seen her a lot over the last few years, and
- 13:14Speaker 1: she's a barrel of lass. I mean, I just love
- 13:17Speaker 1: that woman, and I'm so glad that the world is
- 13:20Speaker 1: going to be able to see the Kathy that I've seen.
- 13:22Speaker 1: It was hysterical Crystal. Um. I like Crystal a lot.
- 13:27Speaker 1: You know, I found it very easy to uh to
- 13:31Speaker 1: talk to her, to meet her. We connected very quickly. Um,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I've enjoyed her. I think, you know, much like everyone
- 13:39Speaker 1: that starts on the show for the first time in
- 13:41Speaker 1: the first year, it's difficult and you have to find
- 13:43Speaker 1: your feet. But I think that she's she's a lot
- 13:46Speaker 1: of fun, and she's down to earth and she's got
- 13:48Speaker 1: a great personality. So I'm enjoying her. Great. That's awesome.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Thank you, thank you. It's nice to meet you. Our
- 13:57Speaker 1: next callar is Cade. Okay, how are you, hi, ladies.
- 14:02Speaker 1: How's it going good, Hollie, I'm good. Listen, Okay, I
- 14:07Speaker 1: have a question. First of all, I just want to
- 14:09Speaker 1: say that I never watched any reality TV before, but
- 14:13Speaker 1: then I kind of ran out of things, like a
- 14:15Speaker 1: lot of people in the pandemic, and so I started
- 14:17Speaker 1: house Lives, and so I just wanted to tell each
- 14:18Speaker 1: of you thank you, first of all, because I felt
- 14:21Speaker 1: like a lot of times when I was just at
- 14:23Speaker 1: home alone watching your show, that I was part of
- 14:25Speaker 1: your family. Kind of weird how reality TV has that
- 14:28Speaker 1: escape of them, So thank you for that. I really
- 14:30Speaker 1: appreciate that one. You know, my question is mainly for
- 14:34Speaker 1: Doret that of course I want Teddy's opinion as well.
- 14:38Speaker 1: Story I wanted to compliment you on your TikTok skills.
- 14:40Speaker 1: I love it, and I wanted to ask specifically, like
- 14:44Speaker 1: tell us, walk us through how you kind of cultivate
- 14:48Speaker 1: and create these looks. I mean that's what everybody always notice.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Use you for you have the best books to walk
- 14:54Speaker 1: us through your process. I'm so curious. Um, well, thank you,
- 14:58Speaker 1: thank you very much. TikTok is a whole new thing
- 15:01Speaker 1: for me. Um. I started to do it with my
- 15:03Speaker 1: kids and my husband, you know, just little dance videos
- 15:06Speaker 1: in the pandemic, and I thought it was a lot
- 15:09Speaker 1: of fun. And then obviously, um, you know, with my
- 15:13Speaker 1: my glam team, we've talked about different recreating different tiktoks
- 15:16Speaker 1: and I've had a lot of fun in it as
- 15:18Speaker 1: far as putting the looks together. You know, it's something
- 15:22Speaker 1: that I love to do. It's um it's cathartic for me.
- 15:25Speaker 1: And usually when the kids go to sleep, I'll go
- 15:28Speaker 1: into my closet and play a little bit and then
- 15:31Speaker 1: put together looks. And really, depending on how I feel
- 15:34Speaker 1: in my mood that day, um, I tweaked the looks,
- 15:37Speaker 1: you know, so I might be in a you know,
- 15:39Speaker 1: a more glam uh state of mind or I might
- 15:43Speaker 1: feel more edgy, um, you know, low key down downplay it.
- 15:49Speaker 1: But I think as far as putting them together, it's
- 15:52Speaker 1: really just a creative process for me that I enjoy
- 15:56Speaker 1: and it's it's mostly me and then of course the
- 15:59Speaker 1: whole look comes in once I've chosen the outfit. Um,
- 16:03Speaker 1: you know, I'll talk to my glam team and we'll
- 16:05Speaker 1: figure out like what's a great hairstyle or the direction
- 16:08Speaker 1: of the makeup. Um, I've got a great girl that
- 16:11Speaker 1: does some shopping for me, and she weighs in on
- 16:13Speaker 1: the looks too from time to time, so it's it's
- 16:17Speaker 1: a nice collaboration. But I really it's something that I
- 16:20Speaker 1: have full control over because I'm a control freak when
- 16:23Speaker 1: it comes to fast She's not telling you, it's actually
- 16:26Speaker 1: me sending her those looks as my priority list. Oh
- 16:35Speaker 1: my gosh, thanks for calling in. All right, we have
- 16:38Speaker 1: one more caller, Hannah. Hi, Hi, So my coach, My
- 16:44Speaker 1: question is directed towards Teddy. I know you've been taking
- 16:46Speaker 1: a little more time for yourself this season and not
- 16:49Speaker 1: on the show as much. How are you adjusting to
- 16:51Speaker 1: that and how is how are you spending your new
- 16:53Speaker 1: free time? You know, at first, it was really challenging.
- 16:57Speaker 1: You know, it's like anything when you spend so much
- 17:00Speaker 1: time dedicated to something for over you know, three years,
- 17:04Speaker 1: five six days a week, and then it stops abruptly
- 17:08Speaker 1: all of a sudden. You're like, what am I supposed
- 17:11Speaker 1: to do with myself in my life? And you know,
- 17:13Speaker 1: but luckily I you know, and one of the things
- 17:15Speaker 1: that I wish was shown more in the show is
- 17:17Speaker 1: I have a really full life, Like I have amazing children,
- 17:21Speaker 1: it's such a fun husband, My business is doing great,
- 17:24Speaker 1: like all of these things. So and because it was
- 17:28Speaker 1: during COVID, I really needed to actually be there for
- 17:32Speaker 1: them this year. And like, even though it was tough,
- 17:34Speaker 1: and I gotta be honest, my ego was bruised, Like
- 17:37Speaker 1: it's you know, it's a little bit of a like
- 17:39Speaker 1: a reality check that you know, like nothing lasts forever.
- 17:42Speaker 1: But it also made me appreciate like all the fun
- 17:45Speaker 1: times that I did have on the show. But also,
- 17:47Speaker 1: you know what some of the stuff I don't miss,
- 17:51Speaker 1: you know, like I don't miss waking up with that
- 17:53Speaker 1: like raging anxiety that like that happens after you're watching
- 17:57Speaker 1: somebody either be pummeled or getting pum or whatever it
- 18:00Speaker 1: may be. Like that doesn't naturally make you feel good
- 18:04Speaker 1: when you wake up, and we all struggle with it.
- 18:06Speaker 1: We all know we're you know, and you know, I
- 18:08Speaker 1: missed the cast and the crew and everybody, but I
- 18:10Speaker 1: I really feel like I needed to be there for
- 18:13Speaker 1: my family had a baby, like all these things like,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and it just I was in a different coming. You've
- 18:18Speaker 1: got a lot going on and you know, so there
- 18:20Speaker 1: hasn't really been much free time, but it's it's been nice.
- 18:24Speaker 1: And you know, the truth is the people that I'm
- 18:26Speaker 1: close with on the show, we're still hanging out and
- 18:29Speaker 1: we're still talking, so there's not like a huge void.
- 18:31Speaker 1: And the same goes with the producers, like the ones
- 18:33Speaker 1: that I'm closed, but I still talk to you, you know.
- 18:35Speaker 1: So it is what it is. But um, thank you
- 18:38Speaker 1: so much for calling in. We have to take a
- 18:40Speaker 1: quick break and then we'll come back and answer more
- 18:42Speaker 1: listener questions. All right, now that we're back from the break,
- 18:53Speaker 1: we're gonna have to talk about something that we neither
- 18:56Speaker 1: of us want to talk about. But I don't have
- 18:57Speaker 1: a choice because I put it on the Instagram and
- 18:59Speaker 1: I say, what do you want to talk about and
- 19:01Speaker 1: guess what they want to know about. Let me guess.
- 19:05Speaker 1: So they want to know apparently you were recently which
- 19:09Speaker 1: I know that because we texted about it, but recently
- 19:11Speaker 1: at Mr Chow for Robert at Earl's birthday. Yes, did
- 19:15Speaker 1: you and Lisa talk? We did not say a word
- 19:19Speaker 1: to one another. Um, you know, luckily there was about
- 19:23Speaker 1: a hundred people there. Um. She knew I was there.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I knew she was there, and we never made eye contact.
- 19:30Speaker 1: We never went up to one another. I didn't plan
- 19:33Speaker 1: to go up to her. She's made a position very
- 19:35Speaker 1: very clear, um, and that's been you know, outside of publicly,
- 19:41Speaker 1: how she talks about us, even intimately to our friends.
- 19:45Speaker 1: You know, how she feels about p K and I
- 19:47Speaker 1: and how she is really not interested in a friendship.
- 19:50Speaker 1: And that's all I need to know. I mean, I
- 19:52Speaker 1: would have loved for things us to have been able
- 19:56Speaker 1: to find a way to rekindle a friendship or to
- 19:59Speaker 1: move past any any animosity, because I am that type
- 20:02Speaker 1: of person. I don't like confrontation, and I can have
- 20:06Speaker 1: the biggest blow up with somebody, but if they want
- 20:08Speaker 1: to make things work and they want to try and
- 20:10Speaker 1: move past it, I can go in wholeheartedly. That's want
- 20:14Speaker 1: to do it and put and put it behind. And
- 20:16Speaker 1: I would have done that with Lisa, but it's not
- 20:19Speaker 1: what she wants to do, and she's very very clear
- 20:22Speaker 1: about it, so I don't need to try with her anymore.
- 20:25Speaker 1: The part that's a little bit confusing to me about
- 20:27Speaker 1: Lisa is she's repeatedly acts like The Housewives is like,
- 20:33Speaker 1: but she's always talking about it always. And Kyle was
- 20:37Speaker 1: on the podcast and you listen to it a couple
- 20:39Speaker 1: of weeks ago where we talked about the Bill thing
- 20:41Speaker 1: and then the picture. Then all of a sudden, I'm like,
- 20:43Speaker 1: you know Bryce Sander firm Et, I'm watching his video
- 20:47Speaker 1: and it's Lisa responding to what Kyle said, but Kyle
- 20:51Speaker 1: didn't actually say what she said. She goes Kyle said
- 20:54Speaker 1: it was a child with the paparazzi pictures. No, she
- 20:57Speaker 1: didn't know, so to quit try like you're always and
- 21:01Speaker 1: that was always my problem. It's like you're always switching
- 21:04Speaker 1: the narrative to make yourself look good. We're like, sometimes
- 21:07Speaker 1: in life you're not gonna look good and sometimes in
- 21:10Speaker 1: life you're going to make mistakes. And you know what,
- 21:13Speaker 1: it's okay, to say I missed that show, but I
- 21:15Speaker 1: felt wronged and I'm done or whatever it may be.
- 21:18Speaker 1: But she just won't ever cop to anything, which I
- 21:21Speaker 1: think is the problem. Like, yeah, ideally what I love
- 21:25Speaker 1: to be talking about the housewives every week? No, but
- 21:28Speaker 1: do I still love you guys and want to support
- 21:29Speaker 1: you a yes. So it's like, if you're truly going
- 21:33Speaker 1: to move on and yes we are talking about it,
- 21:35Speaker 1: you have to actually be authentic to what what you're thinking,
- 21:38Speaker 1: like if you want to still be immersed in the
- 21:40Speaker 1: drama or do you just want everybody to like come
- 21:43Speaker 1: at other people? That's really the goal, you know. The
- 21:46Speaker 1: thing that I find particularly childish is that, um, you know,
- 21:51Speaker 1: with this pap Rossi shot when she exed out all
- 21:54Speaker 1: of our faces. I mean she thinks it's humorous, like
- 21:58Speaker 1: sending the bill to the producer her, you know, and
- 22:01Speaker 1: leaving and saying, you know, buy me dinner. These are
- 22:03Speaker 1: very humorous to her. Um, they're not so funny. And
- 22:08Speaker 1: it's very childish, and it I mean, you obviously haven't
- 22:11Speaker 1: let go of anything. It's being passive aggressive. Yeah, and
- 22:15Speaker 1: she's still holding onto something and what is this apology
- 22:17Speaker 1: that she's waiting for I don't really understand. And I
- 22:20Speaker 1: mean we've done all of the appault, like I mean,
- 22:22Speaker 1: we even center something over for her birthday, like we've
- 22:25Speaker 1: done things. But I just it's confusing to me if
- 22:28Speaker 1: if it is so beneath her, why are we still
- 22:32Speaker 1: talking about it. I think with Lisa, if she doesn't
- 22:34Speaker 1: have control over a person or a friendship or relationship
- 22:39Speaker 1: or the narrative, then it doesn't work for her. And
- 22:43Speaker 1: that's ultimately what ended up happening with the dog situation
- 22:46Speaker 1: was she thought she had the narrative a d and
- 22:49Speaker 1: then she lost control of the situation because I went
- 22:53Speaker 1: off her script and told to read and then all
- 22:56Speaker 1: of a sudden she was furious because she know she
- 23:00Speaker 1: was found out. But I mean, it could have easily
- 23:02Speaker 1: been resolved. But we don't even need to get into
- 23:04Speaker 1: all that. But that like when things are twisted, you know.
- 23:07Speaker 1: And and the thing about Lisa and I find and
- 23:10Speaker 1: and I don't want to sit here and talk badly
- 23:12Speaker 1: about her because truthfully, she's not part of my life.
- 23:16Speaker 1: I'm not interested in anything that she does or says.
- 23:19Speaker 1: If she does anything to hurt me or the family,
- 23:21Speaker 1: obviously I would say something back. But truthfully, when I
- 23:25Speaker 1: hear these things that that she says, even to friends
- 23:28Speaker 1: of ours, about us, I mean, I laugh, I feel bad.
- 23:31Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, well you know what. Unfortunately it's still
- 23:34Speaker 1: burning a hole inside of her me. You're done, yeah,
- 23:37Speaker 1: You're like, we will answer the questions, but I don't.
- 23:40Speaker 1: People always say, would you ever like forgive her what
- 23:43Speaker 1: I've forgiven her? I don't. I don't care, but I
- 23:47Speaker 1: have to talk about it if people are asking, But
- 23:49Speaker 1: I'm not. I don't have a fire burning to like
- 23:52Speaker 1: rebuild that friendship because for me, I never really had
- 23:55Speaker 1: it right. It was like I was hurt a little
- 23:58Speaker 1: pet right right, No, I think I used to torture
- 24:01Speaker 1: you exactly, thank you. Um, but no, that's it's true.
- 24:06Speaker 1: And even we went to this party and I had
- 24:08Speaker 1: no expectations because I really, truly I believed that Lisa
- 24:13Speaker 1: and I had a great friendship. Pique and I would
- 24:16Speaker 1: have dinner with Lisa and Ken at least once a month.
- 24:20Speaker 1: We we we had a lot of laughs together. Um.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I really felt like she was my friend. I felt
- 24:25Speaker 1: like we had a genuine friendship. And then when I
- 24:28Speaker 1: realized that the friendship wasn't really what I what I
- 24:31Speaker 1: thought it was for me. I just thought, okay, well
- 24:34Speaker 1: then I don't need this friendship. But then, you know,
- 24:37Speaker 1: for the sake of we have a lot of mutual
- 24:40Speaker 1: friends and we were on the show, you know, um
- 24:43Speaker 1: together at the time, I thought, you know what, let
- 24:45Speaker 1: me just try. Let by Guns be by Guns. I
- 24:48Speaker 1: apologized to her, I asked her to move on. I've tried.
- 24:51Speaker 1: She's made it very clear she wants nothing to do
- 24:53Speaker 1: with us. For some reason. She thinks I did something
- 24:55Speaker 1: to her, which I don't really understand that. I can't,
- 24:58Speaker 1: for the life of me wrap my head and around you.
- 25:00Speaker 1: But but it's okay. I feel like I'm I'm free
- 25:03Speaker 1: of some toxic energy that I really don't need in
- 25:06Speaker 1: my life. Well, speaking of toxic energy, who did you
- 25:09Speaker 1: have the hardest time getting along with this year? This year? Um?
- 25:14Speaker 1: You know, I, like everybody on the show, I have
- 25:17Speaker 1: to get an answer. I didn't finish. Um, No, I do.
- 25:21Speaker 1: I like everybody on the show. UM. I found there
- 25:25Speaker 1: was somebody this year, uh that treated me very differently
- 25:29Speaker 1: than they did last year. Um. And there was definitely
- 25:33Speaker 1: a moment where I felt like I had to defend myself.
- 25:36Speaker 1: I can't give you too much, Teddy. You know the drill,
- 25:39Speaker 1: and I don't really want to you know. Next thing,
- 25:42Speaker 1: you know, it's um fishing for more information. You got
- 25:45Speaker 1: to watch the show. There's a carcel. Why would you
- 25:49Speaker 1: say that? It's just my guess, because I mean, you
- 25:53Speaker 1: guys have to watch the show. But when I was on,
- 25:55Speaker 1: I noticed some things in regards to myself as well.
- 25:59Speaker 1: A ship. Yeah, there was a shift. There was a shift.
- 26:03Speaker 1: There was a shift. Um. And then who is your
- 26:09Speaker 1: favorite housewife? These are not my words, y'all. Who is
- 26:13Speaker 1: your favorite? My favorite? I don't have a favorite. I
- 26:17Speaker 1: have favorites. Um. You know, Kyle and Guy bicker find
- 26:22Speaker 1: out a lot. Am I supposed to be honest or not? Yes,
- 26:25Speaker 1: okay honest. I love Kyle, I love Brenna, I love Erica.
- 26:31Speaker 1: I'm the closest to those three. I've also known them
- 26:33Speaker 1: the longest. Um, Kyle and I have. Our friendship has
- 26:37Speaker 1: grown even stronger. We traveled together. Um. You know, I
- 26:41Speaker 1: trust her. You know she's one of the people that
- 26:43Speaker 1: I talked to so freely and openly. Um. I love Erica.
- 26:48Speaker 1: Eric is more guarded. I have a very different relationship
- 26:51Speaker 1: with Erica. Than I do with Kyle and Lisa Arenna,
- 26:54Speaker 1: you know the same I feel. You know, I've got
- 26:57Speaker 1: a great relationship in history, and I trust to her
- 27:00Speaker 1: and I have so much fun with her, So I mean,
- 27:03Speaker 1: I love them. What do you miss most about not
- 27:05Speaker 1: having me on the show? Absolutely nothing, Teddy. I'll tell you,
- 27:13Speaker 1: if I could have this with you on the show,
- 27:17Speaker 1: it would be amazing. It would be amazing. But because
- 27:20Speaker 1: I never had that, you know, I'm now most protective
- 27:24Speaker 1: of what we have. I enjoy our time together. I
- 27:26Speaker 1: enjoy this relationship that's blossoming. I wouldn't want it to
- 27:30Speaker 1: be ruined, genuinely, you know. And it's a shame because, um,
- 27:36Speaker 1: we have a lot of fun together and we laugh
- 27:38Speaker 1: a lot. I mean, you're funny. You are funny, and
- 27:41Speaker 1: you're somebody that, um, you know, I can banter with,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you know, joke around with. But you've also you've got
- 27:48Speaker 1: a great heart. You're a great mom, you know, and
- 27:51Speaker 1: I can tell you can be a very very good friend.
- 27:55Speaker 1: I would like to be able to experience that and
- 27:58Speaker 1: not have you know all the of all the things
- 28:02Speaker 1: you know and that and that's the truth. It puts
- 28:05Speaker 1: that it switches the dynamic. And when you are in
- 28:09Speaker 1: the moment doing a show like that and you know
- 28:12Speaker 1: that somebody has to do something or you've just wasted
- 28:16Speaker 1: your entire day, life, week, whatever, it adds to that dynamic.
- 28:22Speaker 1: And there are some people that will give in and
- 28:24Speaker 1: do it and there's some people that won't. Yes, And
- 28:26Speaker 1: you know, my biggest regret from being on the show
- 28:28Speaker 1: is I wish there were times where I would have
- 28:32Speaker 1: just withheld nothink that's your nature, but it's not. It's not.
- 28:36Speaker 1: You're by nature I have. You know, I'm I'm a
- 28:39Speaker 1: doer like in general, like and I you'll speak your mind.
- 28:43Speaker 1: I speak my mind. But I mean there are things
- 28:45Speaker 1: that like my last season, I wish I you know,
- 28:49Speaker 1: I just would have let let it be and I
- 28:51Speaker 1: wish you would have seen other stuff. But you know,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you know it is what it is. But you sure
- 28:56Speaker 1: of the show. You know, just just to add to
- 28:58Speaker 1: that quickly, the nature the show and the thing about
- 29:02Speaker 1: it is it is reality and you have, you know,
- 29:05Speaker 1: eight successful, independent, strong women, and there's bound to be confrontation.
- 29:11Speaker 1: But sometimes you know you're shooting for five six months,
- 29:15Speaker 1: four or five months, whatever it is, and you know,
- 29:18Speaker 1: whatever little tiny tension there is. It needs to be
- 29:22Speaker 1: kind of accelerated. So what you would take maybe six
- 29:25Speaker 1: months to kind of drag out and then you kind
- 29:28Speaker 1: of get right to the point. So if someone rubs
- 29:30Speaker 1: you the wrong way, you're very forthcoming and you have
- 29:33Speaker 1: to be like, okay, listen, I didn't like that. And
- 29:35Speaker 1: you have somebody dedicated, like there's a camera on your face.
- 29:38Speaker 1: You have someone dedicated to your emotions, so like if
- 29:41Speaker 1: they see something happen, they are on it, like they know.
- 29:46Speaker 1: And then it's like you can feel the camera getting
- 29:48Speaker 1: like close and hot, and like like the scene where
- 29:51Speaker 1: we were sun where she called me boring and like, uh,
- 29:54Speaker 1: you know something about me having this you know? Oh
- 29:56Speaker 1: and even worse, you're pregnant, you know. Whatever I was,
- 30:00Speaker 1: it's just emotional. And but then that that pressure of
- 30:02Speaker 1: the heat and the light and all that, you just
- 30:05Speaker 1: I just crumble. I know, I know, and I and
- 30:08Speaker 1: in that moment, I remember looking up and You're looking
- 30:10Speaker 1: at me like you got this, well, get it get gonn.
- 30:14Speaker 1: Oh my god. I'm such an EmPATH. Every time I
- 30:18Speaker 1: see somebody, if somebody hurts or I see that they're
- 30:21Speaker 1: hurting or they're sad, or they're crying. I don't know
- 30:23Speaker 1: what it is. I just want to go and help them,
- 30:25Speaker 1: save them, you know, give them a hub. It's hard.
- 30:29Speaker 1: So I have a question. Um. Last week, Crystal shared
- 30:34Speaker 1: that she had a warrant out for her arrest and
- 30:36Speaker 1: Arizona and that shop picked up like everybody people, all
- 30:40Speaker 1: these different magazines picked it up. And you know, it's
- 30:42Speaker 1: a long, crazy story when she was younger, and it's
- 30:44Speaker 1: not even a big deal, but hilarious. Do you have
- 30:47Speaker 1: any scandal you'd like to share with us here? Um no,
- 30:53Speaker 1: I've got no warrant up from my arrest. Um No,
- 30:58Speaker 1: I can't think of anything salacious enough. But didn't you
- 31:00Speaker 1: run away? Once? I did? I was like fourteen years old,
- 31:04Speaker 1: you know, to read the Runaway. I never actually got
- 31:07Speaker 1: a chance to run away. I got a caught. I
- 31:09Speaker 1: got caught by my parents. I had like the Deffel
- 31:11Speaker 1: back And when I told this story, I don't know
- 31:14Speaker 1: what they showed or didn't show, but um yeah, I
- 31:17Speaker 1: was fourteen. I thought I knew it all and I
- 31:19Speaker 1: was ready to go, you know, live in Manhattan with
- 31:22Speaker 1: my girlfriend and you know, start a new life. But
- 31:25Speaker 1: my parents caught me. So have you gotten any whiff
- 31:30Speaker 1: of the Brian Moyland book. A lot of people are
- 31:33Speaker 1: asking about how true it was. So like certain things
- 31:36Speaker 1: that were said which I can confirm our hundred percent
- 31:39Speaker 1: false was we only got episodes if we blogged, and
- 31:45Speaker 1: we got paid to blog. I'm like, what both are
- 31:48Speaker 1: completely false? Well, I just want to say. You know
- 31:52Speaker 1: that guy which I had never heard his name. I
- 31:54Speaker 1: know he co wrote Eric because book, but um, he
- 31:57Speaker 1: actually came out with this ridicul here less lie about
- 32:01Speaker 1: p K nine Um Peku was traveling in London for
- 32:04Speaker 1: work and he sat in some podcast and he told, well,
- 32:09Speaker 1: they're separating, they're headed towards divorce. Pek is living in
- 32:13Speaker 1: some friends guesthouse. I mean like when I mean flat
- 32:17Speaker 1: out made up some big lie. And I remember turning
- 32:21Speaker 1: around to Peak and saying, Pik, how on earth can
- 32:23Speaker 1: someone get away with this? How can they just lie
- 32:26Speaker 1: so blatantly? It gets picked up people actually believe that
- 32:29Speaker 1: they remember how can they even sleep at night? And
- 32:32Speaker 1: I remember Peak and I were together like for Valentine's Day,
- 32:35Speaker 1: This was like days after right, And I said, well,
- 32:38Speaker 1: I mean so much for this? Can b s headline
- 32:41Speaker 1: about us heading towards divorce, you know when we're filming. Yeah,
- 32:44Speaker 1: you know its Valentine's Day, were together. But I can't
- 32:47Speaker 1: really understand how people get away with this with with
- 32:49Speaker 1: just complete flat out live. I'm like, you wrote a book,
- 32:53Speaker 1: but like, where are you getting this info? Because I
- 32:55Speaker 1: can confirm there's no Housewives that will ever say that
- 32:58Speaker 1: that's true, because it is not like you have to
- 33:01Speaker 1: get the episodes the day or two before, because they
- 33:04Speaker 1: you know, they at least prep us a little bit
- 33:06Speaker 1: and then we can tweet and do all those types
- 33:08Speaker 1: of things. But it's not contingent of one another. That's
- 33:11Speaker 1: just the policy. Also that he said that he alluded
- 33:15Speaker 1: to the fact that my business was created by Bravo,
- 33:19Speaker 1: and I was like, one, he's always had it out
- 33:22Speaker 1: for me too, like just and me apparent, Yeah, And
- 33:25Speaker 1: you know, I always in backed my mind, I was like,
- 33:27Speaker 1: maybe it was because like I had Eric and I
- 33:30Speaker 1: had issues the first season and he was writing her
- 33:31Speaker 1: book and he was but then it never stopped. And
- 33:33Speaker 1: even once Eric and I got close to like, I
- 33:35Speaker 1: guess I didn't have any issue with Erica and he
- 33:37Speaker 1: just really don't even know who who is he? Like,
- 33:40Speaker 1: what is this, you know, I know he I don't know.
- 33:42Speaker 1: But we met him at Bravo Colon, did we? Yes?
- 33:45Speaker 1: But mine now because I was like, they didn't make
- 33:47Speaker 1: a very good super super No, he was super friendly
- 33:50Speaker 1: at Bravoclon which that also I don't laugh. You know
- 33:53Speaker 1: why you're gonna talk mad crap? Just being asked, Oh
- 33:58Speaker 1: my god, totally like honestly, give me the stink. Oh so,
- 34:01Speaker 1: how can you trust someone like that? And how do
- 34:04Speaker 1: people go on and continue to believe what a person
- 34:06Speaker 1: says when things have been proven that whatever they're saying
- 34:09Speaker 1: it's just not true, Like don't you question what comes
- 34:12Speaker 1: out of his mouth at that point? Yeah, you're like,
- 34:15Speaker 1: I don't get it. I don't get it, or they
- 34:17Speaker 1: just I think what you know, people want to believe
- 34:20Speaker 1: what they want to believe. And if someone's there prepared to,
- 34:23Speaker 1: you know, say things that, um that aren't true and
- 34:26Speaker 1: no one's going to contradict them, then But how do
- 34:28Speaker 1: you write a book about it? Was there any fact checking?
- 34:31Speaker 1: That's what I'm saying? How how is that possible? Because
- 34:33Speaker 1: I know there's I think there's another one that's coming out.
- 34:36Speaker 1: I don't know if we're even a lot of talk
- 34:37Speaker 1: about it, but I know that, like we were asked
- 34:39Speaker 1: questions for the other one, but not we weren't interviewed
- 34:41Speaker 1: by him. No, that's a different book. That's my point.
- 34:45Speaker 1: So we there was something that we talked about that
- 34:48Speaker 1: I haven't seen come out yet, right saying, but where
- 34:51Speaker 1: we were interviewed. So I'm like, so where are you
- 34:53Speaker 1: getting your info? But because whatever, consider the source, everyone,
- 34:57Speaker 1: please consider it the source. So now we're gonna get
- 35:01Speaker 1: into marriage talk treat. What did you and Pek meat?
- 35:05Speaker 1: Was it love at first sight? Um? Peak and I
- 35:08Speaker 1: met in New York City two thousand and eleven. It
- 35:12Speaker 1: was not love at first sight, um, but there was
- 35:15Speaker 1: banter and there was chemistry. And we actually didn't go
- 35:18Speaker 1: on our first date for like two months, but we
- 35:22Speaker 1: had gone out in a group of friends. In fact,
- 35:25Speaker 1: when I met him, we realized that we had a
- 35:27Speaker 1: lot of mutual friends. So the first time we went
- 35:29Speaker 1: out together, we were with a few different friends about
- 35:33Speaker 1: and we were as we were friends. I mean, I
- 35:35Speaker 1: looked at him and I thought, Okay, here's a guy
- 35:37Speaker 1: who's um separated three children. Um, I mean he had
- 35:45Speaker 1: a mountain of yeah, a mountain of red flags. A
- 35:49Speaker 1: mountain of luggage. Baggage, not luggage baggage, luggage amountain of baggage.
- 35:55Speaker 1: I mean, there was not It was not the type
- 35:58Speaker 1: of guy I ever thought I would see myself with.
- 36:01Speaker 1: But there was very clear chemistry and banter, and then
- 36:04Speaker 1: he asked me out. We went on our first official date.
- 36:07Speaker 1: We went to see The Jersey Boys in New York City,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and I have to tell you, after that time, we
- 36:12Speaker 1: were alone. We were inseparable ever since you're done, You're
- 36:16Speaker 1: done for my perst sign Field delivered. What do you
- 36:19Speaker 1: think the best part that the show has done for
- 36:22Speaker 1: your marriage? In the worst part? Well, you know this.
- 36:27Speaker 1: The show is actually strengthened my marriage and at the
- 36:30Speaker 1: same time has made things very difficult between Peak and I,
- 36:34Speaker 1: particularly when I'm filming. Um, it's really hard for him,
- 36:38Speaker 1: you know, and and it's hard for me by extension,
- 36:41Speaker 1: because Peak is used to me being around all the time.
- 36:44Speaker 1: I don't really like go out with my girlfriends every week,
- 36:48Speaker 1: you know. I tend to go out with my husband.
- 36:50Speaker 1: Were always together, That's the way it's always been, Teddy.
- 36:53Speaker 1: I mean ten years were together, almost ten years, and
- 36:56Speaker 1: we we live our lives together. We traveled together. So
- 37:00Speaker 1: while I'm doing the show, as you know, there are
- 37:02Speaker 1: lunches and dinners and parties and various things. Even when
- 37:05Speaker 1: I'm filming and I'm not filming with him, that I'm
- 37:08Speaker 1: not with him, and that is hard for him because
- 37:11Speaker 1: he wants me with him. So it took, um, you know,
- 37:14Speaker 1: year after year after year, me saying to him every
- 37:17Speaker 1: time I'm about to start filming, p K, you know,
- 37:19Speaker 1: I don't need to do this. My marriage is more
- 37:22Speaker 1: important to me. Our relationship is far more important to me. Um.
- 37:26Speaker 1: But he's you know, he supported me and encouraged me
- 37:28Speaker 1: to do it. And so year after year I have
- 37:31Speaker 1: to go through those really uncomfortable a few months where
- 37:33Speaker 1: he feels like he's ostracized, you know, and marginalized and
- 37:37Speaker 1: all of those things. And and then I spend the
- 37:39Speaker 1: next six months after that reassured. How how radio is
- 37:43Speaker 1: I think, because that's the thing with you know, Edwin
- 37:45Speaker 1: as well, like he likes to be taking care of
- 37:47Speaker 1: a bit like or feeling like that importance in our lives.
- 37:51Speaker 1: And when you when you wake up filled with like
- 37:54Speaker 1: whatever you have to do for the day, and you
- 37:55Speaker 1: know you have to do three different things and change
- 37:57Speaker 1: and do this. You are like on the go yes
- 38:01Speaker 1: and it's impossible. And then they're like, hey, can you
- 38:03Speaker 1: can you do this dinner tonight with this business person
- 38:06Speaker 1: and I'm like, I've been you know, we were filming
- 38:09Speaker 1: for eight hours. No, I don't want to go talk
- 38:11Speaker 1: to a stranger like I'm exhausted. And then they take
- 38:14Speaker 1: it personally. So that was the hardest part from you too.
- 38:17Speaker 1: But the best part was my first season. I saw
- 38:19Speaker 1: I was nagging my husband a lot, and I was like,
- 38:21Speaker 1: I have to reel it and wow. I was like wow,
- 38:26Speaker 1: I am non stuff Like I'm like, come on, look
- 38:29Speaker 1: and I was like, cheddy, let's uh, let's let's pull
- 38:31Speaker 1: this together. Did you change? I didn't. I nag less
- 38:35Speaker 1: now okay, and we have like a better We wake
- 38:37Speaker 1: up in the morning and we talked about our days.
- 38:39Speaker 1: We set the expectations, like today I had a bunch
- 38:42Speaker 1: of podcasts and stuff and I'm like, honey, you know
- 38:45Speaker 1: this morning we wake up and I'm like, can you
- 38:46Speaker 1: do me a favor and please to take the kids
- 38:48Speaker 1: to school? Like I am on all day and I
- 38:51Speaker 1: know you are too, but like I will feel frantic
- 38:54Speaker 1: having to rush back and try to get on the
- 38:56Speaker 1: you know wells this podcast and he's like, of course,
- 38:59Speaker 1: but you know, but before I don't think i'd communicate,
- 39:01Speaker 1: and then I'd be mad that he'd feel it. Yeah right,
- 39:05Speaker 1: I know they're supposed to be mind readers. Yeah. So
- 39:07Speaker 1: I realized the communication is so much better, and I
- 39:10Speaker 1: thank the show for that. All Right? If p K
- 39:13Speaker 1: asked you to move back to London, would you no?
- 39:16Speaker 1: Now we've talked about it, and luckily I don't think
- 39:19Speaker 1: he does either. Um. I think we'll stay in America
- 39:22Speaker 1: hopefully at some point. I mean it would be nice.
- 39:25Speaker 1: We do travel back and forth London enough so we
- 39:28Speaker 1: see his family, but I don't even think he wants
- 39:30Speaker 1: to live there full time. So do you think l
- 39:32Speaker 1: A is where you'll continue to stay? I don't know.
- 39:35Speaker 1: I don't know. Um. I think during COVID we really
- 39:40Speaker 1: thought do we want to be here? Where do we
- 39:42Speaker 1: want to be? Um? You know, I'm tied to l
- 39:45Speaker 1: A right now because of the show, and I feel
- 39:48Speaker 1: like until I decide or they decide that I'm not
- 39:51Speaker 1: doing it, you know, and then the options are open.
- 39:53Speaker 1: I think it's nice. I'm a New Yorker. I love
- 39:56Speaker 1: I love New York so much, but now having kids,
- 39:58Speaker 1: I think it's easier, you know, for them in California.
- 40:02Speaker 1: But I don't know. I feel like I could live
- 40:04Speaker 1: outside of California. I'm just not sure where. Yeah, so
- 40:07Speaker 1: you're open, You're open. So shifting over to mother her
- 40:11Speaker 1: motherhood my favorite topic, Jaggie, Jaggy Jaggy, Um, do you
- 40:21Speaker 1: is there anything about having the kids on the show
- 40:22Speaker 1: that makes you nervous? Like you and I are similar
- 40:24Speaker 1: in the fact that we have our kids on Instagram
- 40:27Speaker 1: because it's so they're so such a big part of
- 40:29Speaker 1: my life. I couldn't imagine not And same with the
- 40:31Speaker 1: show totally, like I was bummed when you know, I
- 40:34Speaker 1: would be like, oh, we did that together and they
- 40:36Speaker 1: never showed the kids or you know, because I hate
- 40:39Speaker 1: it takes away from what actually happened. Totally, totally. No,
- 40:43Speaker 1: I fold so much with the kids. And you know,
- 40:46Speaker 1: when I first started the show, Teddy Jagger was not
- 40:49Speaker 1: talking and Phoenix, um, I was just fitting her for
- 40:53Speaker 1: a helmet, and I was so nervous. I was so
- 40:56Speaker 1: nervous to bring the kids on the show for very
- 40:59Speaker 1: obvious since. And I remember sitting down with producers, and
- 41:02Speaker 1: I said, I really haven't decided whether or not I
- 41:04Speaker 1: want to show my kids or whether I just don't
- 41:07Speaker 1: want to, you know, I don't want to impose this
- 41:09Speaker 1: on them. Plus I'm going through these various things. And
- 41:12Speaker 1: the producer said, listen, naturally, um, you know people will
- 41:15Speaker 1: be able to relate to this because there are other
- 41:17Speaker 1: mothers that are going through these struggles. And I thought,
- 41:20Speaker 1: you know what, that's right, and so I I bore
- 41:23Speaker 1: it all and I put it all out there almost
- 41:25Speaker 1: a little bit too much a season to be honest
- 41:27Speaker 1: with you. Um, But and I think you know since
- 41:30Speaker 1: then and really that decision no matter what, at the
- 41:33Speaker 1: end of the day, we're all moms. We all go
- 41:35Speaker 1: through similar things. Our kids are gonna misbehave. Our kids
- 41:39Speaker 1: are you know, are needy, they need us, they love us,
- 41:42Speaker 1: They're funny, they're too all of the things. It's my
- 41:45Speaker 1: most um, it's my my happiest time is when I'm
- 41:50Speaker 1: with them. It's the thing I'm most proud of. And
- 41:52Speaker 1: so of course they're going to be on the show
- 41:54Speaker 1: with me, because you would not see a full version
- 41:57Speaker 1: of me without them, without my kids and my husband.
- 42:00Speaker 1: Which brings me to The next question, which a lot
- 42:02Speaker 1: of people are asking me about how you shared it all,
- 42:05Speaker 1: what is the best advice that you could give to
- 42:07Speaker 1: a mom who was struggling with a child speaking. Oh
- 42:11Speaker 1: my goodness, UM, I think that you have to get
- 42:14Speaker 1: them evaluated. I thought that that was something that UM.
- 42:19Speaker 1: It was suggested by my pediatrician to have him to
- 42:22Speaker 1: have Jagger evaluated by developmental pedio. What age did you
- 42:25Speaker 1: do that? Well, Jagger didn't talk. He wasn't talking. I
- 42:28Speaker 1: mean it was after two years old, so between two
- 42:33Speaker 1: and two and a half years old, and I still
- 42:34Speaker 1: hadn't heard mama, UM. And so I did that at first.
- 42:39Speaker 1: In fact, I made a mistake. Uh. Someone had said
- 42:43Speaker 1: to put him in speech therapy and I did. This
- 42:45Speaker 1: is before I had him evaluated, and a couple of
- 42:48Speaker 1: months had passed and there was no progress. And so
- 42:51Speaker 1: I spoke to the speech therapist and I had said,
- 42:54Speaker 1: you know, I really I'm not seeing any progress. Can
- 42:56Speaker 1: you give me any indication what's going on? And she
- 42:59Speaker 1: had a really negative response to me that really sent
- 43:03Speaker 1: me into a tissy, gave me a panic attack. She
- 43:06Speaker 1: was um said something like, you know, he has to
- 43:10Speaker 1: be here all the time. I'm not saying he'll you know,
- 43:13Speaker 1: he'll ever speak in his lifetime. That's entirely up to
- 43:16Speaker 1: him when you tell him, mother that right, and there's
- 43:19Speaker 1: no basis or bearing. I mean, I'll never forget. I
- 43:22Speaker 1: was in the car. I was having a panic attack,
- 43:25Speaker 1: fully crying. Jagger, the little baby was in the car
- 43:28Speaker 1: seat in the back, and my husband was in Vegas
- 43:31Speaker 1: with his son for his twenty one birthday, so it
- 43:35Speaker 1: was unreachable. And I called my pediatrician, who my love
- 43:39Speaker 1: was just recently retired, and I said, you know, I
- 43:41Speaker 1: was crying. I said, I don't know what to do it.
- 43:42Speaker 1: I don't know and he said to let's get him
- 43:45Speaker 1: evaluated by the developmental pediatrician, which I did immediately, UM,
- 43:51Speaker 1: just to make sure and see that, you know what
- 43:54Speaker 1: if if there was any big concerns. And we did that.
- 43:58Speaker 1: Um he came out year. But they had said, you
- 44:01Speaker 1: know some people that they just they're delayed, and I
- 44:04Speaker 1: believe he'll talk when he wants. There was the assumption
- 44:08Speaker 1: that he had something called dyspraxia a praxia. Dyspraxia where
- 44:13Speaker 1: the signal um of the brain doesn't fire a signal
- 44:18Speaker 1: quick enough to the mouth. But he was so young
- 44:21Speaker 1: that they thought, as he gets older, we'll understand whether
- 44:24Speaker 1: or not he does or doesn't have this, but we
- 44:25Speaker 1: think this is what it could be. And the best
- 44:27Speaker 1: thing that you could do is bring him to speech therapy,
- 44:30Speaker 1: which I found a homeopathic speech therapist who was unbelievable.
- 44:34Speaker 1: She connected with Jagger, she did wonders with him, and
- 44:37Speaker 1: really just like that, I mean, he started to speak
- 44:40Speaker 1: and then I mean, you know, and now he's a
- 44:42Speaker 1: chatter box, and like he calls you on stuff too,
- 44:45Speaker 1: like he there over for a play date, which you
- 44:47Speaker 1: guys were also asking, like our crews and Jaggers still friends. Yes,
- 44:51Speaker 1: they are hilarious because they both are little comedians. Yes,
- 44:55Speaker 1: so they think they're adults. Yes, they have are very opinionated.
- 44:59Speaker 1: I wonder where to get all of these I wonder,
- 45:01Speaker 1: it's I mean, I wonder. I mean, but I think
- 45:04Speaker 1: a big part of being a parent is like you
- 45:07Speaker 1: just have to consistently be an advocate for your kids.
- 45:09Speaker 1: Like I had somebody after does neurosurgery that came over
- 45:13Speaker 1: and was doing physical therapy with Dov and and she
- 45:16Speaker 1: said something and it really hurt my feeling. She said,
- 45:18Speaker 1: you know, with her deformity, and granted that maybe what
- 45:23Speaker 1: it's considered, but I didn't want this, and she kept
- 45:26Speaker 1: saying it, and it's okay to say to somebody and I,
- 45:30Speaker 1: you know, actually the show ended up, you know, helping
- 45:34Speaker 1: me do this. But it's okay to say to people,
- 45:37Speaker 1: you know what, I don't like that that actually really
- 45:40Speaker 1: bothers me. Can you can you do me a favorite?
- 45:43Speaker 1: Just you don't need to say that because you just
- 45:46Speaker 1: keep repeating it. And she kept doing it, and I
- 45:48Speaker 1: was like, listen, it's not gonna work for me anymore
- 45:51Speaker 1: because you're not able to have that empathy to what
- 45:54Speaker 1: we're all going through. And she had neurosurgery and she
- 45:56Speaker 1: did all of these things, and we're going through a
- 45:58Speaker 1: really tough time and like I, I just can't with
- 46:00Speaker 1: this energy. And then I found somebody that was excellent. Yeah,
- 46:04Speaker 1: And so it's okay to realize that somebody is not
- 46:06Speaker 1: the right fit and when they're not a right fit
- 46:09Speaker 1: to change it. You don't have to go through that
- 46:11Speaker 1: additional stress and pressure. And you know that one of
- 46:14Speaker 1: the things that they had told me this is just
- 46:16Speaker 1: for the moms that are struggling with it. Um even
- 46:19Speaker 1: in speech therapy. I mean they're only there for an hour.
- 46:22Speaker 1: And what was really important and what I did consistently
- 46:25Speaker 1: with Jagger was I would he would point, and before
- 46:28Speaker 1: that I would grab what he needed. Because I had
- 46:30Speaker 1: such a connection with Jagger, I knew what in united
- 46:32Speaker 1: at the moment. But that was the worst thing I
- 46:35Speaker 1: could do because I needed to help him find the words.
- 46:38Speaker 1: So your point and I would repeat the word and
- 46:40Speaker 1: repeat the word and repeat the word. You have to
- 46:43Speaker 1: bring whatever you're learning, whatever they're doing in speech there,
- 46:46Speaker 1: we bring it home. Work with them constantly mentioned the word.
- 46:50Speaker 1: Don't let them point and get they have to they
- 46:53Speaker 1: have to be able. You have to teach them that
- 46:55Speaker 1: communication is helpful. We'll get them what they want. So
- 47:00Speaker 1: that helped us a lot. That's a really good tip.
- 47:01Speaker 1: By the way, now I need to make sure that
- 47:03Speaker 1: I'm doing that with Dove. I'm like, okay, good noted. Yes, Um,
- 47:08Speaker 1: do you want more babies? I mean, listen, I love babies.
- 47:11Speaker 1: I love babies. I love my babies. If I had
- 47:14Speaker 1: started younger, I feel like I probably would have gone
- 47:17Speaker 1: on to have more. Um, we do have five collectively,
- 47:21Speaker 1: so you have a lot three of them are older. Um,
- 47:25Speaker 1: but I think that should have sailed. You know, one
- 47:29Speaker 1: of my best girlfriends just had a baby and it's
- 47:32Speaker 1: so nice because he's my godson and I'm obsessed with him,
- 47:35Speaker 1: and so it kind of seeds that baby bug. And
- 47:38Speaker 1: then you know, when I see Lovely Dove boss baby
- 47:43Speaker 1: back up, I know eventually she's gonna be like all
- 47:48Speaker 1: about me. You know, I'm gonna yeah, she's it's gonna
- 47:52Speaker 1: be like how slat and it's like what's that? Who's
- 47:55Speaker 1: you know, like I can't. We have to take a
- 47:58Speaker 1: little break and we'll come back and finish up with
- 47:59Speaker 1: a couple of questions. All right, last kid question, and
- 48:11Speaker 1: then we'll go into life just lifestyle general. How was
- 48:15Speaker 1: homeschooling kids during the pandemic for you? Horrible? Beyond horrible.
- 48:20Speaker 1: You know, Jagger was six years old, Phoenix was for uh,
- 48:24Speaker 1: they had a good few months where we had zooms
- 48:26Speaker 1: every day. It was really hard and I felt so
- 48:28Speaker 1: bad for them too, because try and get a six
- 48:30Speaker 1: year old to sit there, you know, at the table,
- 48:32Speaker 1: focused on a screen, trying to participate, you know, the
- 48:36Speaker 1: raising the hand. It was just and the teachers who
- 48:38Speaker 1: were really just figuring it out to I know, some
- 48:40Speaker 1: of the teachers didn't even know how to like do
- 48:41Speaker 1: the zooms effort. Yes, it was mayhem. Um. I knew
- 48:46Speaker 1: right off the bat that that wasn't really gonna work,
- 48:48Speaker 1: not certainly, not in um you know, um in them
- 48:53Speaker 1: learning in the way they should. Um. I had an
- 48:55Speaker 1: opportunity where a teacher that had worked with Jagger at
- 49:00Speaker 1: intimated that she would work for me full time. And
- 49:04Speaker 1: I took that opportunity and the kids were home school
- 49:06Speaker 1: this year with a teacher, and it was the best
- 49:08Speaker 1: thing I ever did. Obviously, I feel very grateful for
- 49:11Speaker 1: being fortunate enough to be able to do it. Um.
- 49:15Speaker 1: And I you know, my heart goes out to the
- 49:17Speaker 1: moms that had to continue doing zooms before the school's
- 49:20Speaker 1: opened up. But yeah, that was really a challenge, Yeah,
- 49:25Speaker 1: I I for me, it was also a challenge. I
- 49:27Speaker 1: mean there was a point where like CRUs cut his
- 49:29Speaker 1: own hair, like he and they had like craft scissors,
- 49:33Speaker 1: you know, the like supposedly the kids proof. But all
- 49:35Speaker 1: of a sudden he comes in and he had taken
- 49:37Speaker 1: scissors and cut like to his scalps. That's why, all
- 49:40Speaker 1: of a sudden you had this like complete buzz cut.
- 49:43Speaker 1: That was like he was bald. I'm like, dude, of
- 49:46Speaker 1: all the thing. And then I like, you know, the teacher,
- 49:48Speaker 1: I'm like, hey, by chance, did you see this? She goes,
- 49:50Speaker 1: I was wondering where he went. He turned off his
- 49:52Speaker 1: video for ten minutes. Uh yeah, doesn't that be like
- 49:56Speaker 1: texting the mom or something? But that the crazy part
- 49:59Speaker 1: is like during the pandemic with you know, working moms
- 50:02Speaker 1: all these whether you're working or not, even just having
- 50:05Speaker 1: more than one child, you're not going to be sitting
- 50:08Speaker 1: in the room with them the entire time. So like
- 50:11Speaker 1: kids are smart, Like they learned how to like toggle
- 50:15Speaker 1: between their zoom class and like YouTube videos. Like I
- 50:18Speaker 1: had to like really learn how to like turn off
- 50:22Speaker 1: parental turn on parental controls to like make sure that
- 50:25Speaker 1: they were you know, figuring it out. But luckily there,
- 50:28Speaker 1: you know, my kids went back to school in person,
- 50:31Speaker 1: but it's completely different now, you know, like they're in
- 50:33Speaker 1: mass they can't you know, it's it's a lot, but
- 50:36Speaker 1: they were so thrilled just because they didn't have a teacher.
- 50:39Speaker 1: They had me, and like I barely got through kindergarten myself,
- 50:42Speaker 1: so some challenges, you know, plays math for sure, that's
- 50:48Speaker 1: over my head. So you know, no, it was. It
- 50:50Speaker 1: was It was very It was challenging, and it was difficult,
- 50:53Speaker 1: and they do that age. They do need to be
- 50:56Speaker 1: like looked after. You can't just trust that. I couldn't
- 50:59Speaker 1: trust that Jagger and Phoenix were just sitting there and
- 51:02Speaker 1: they were okay, and if I wasn't there or somebody
- 51:05Speaker 1: wasn't there with them, then they just drifted. You know it.
- 51:10Speaker 1: Kids are different. Um. I feel like luckily I had
- 51:14Speaker 1: this teacher that that offered to say, Otherwise I would
- 51:18Speaker 1: have probably been in a situation where, um, you know,
- 51:22Speaker 1: I don't know, try and find somebody. Yeah, well, I'm
- 51:24Speaker 1: happy that you shared that, because so often in this
- 51:27Speaker 1: world of social media and everybody living this like we
- 51:30Speaker 1: are perfect and we can do all the things people
- 51:33Speaker 1: don't admit, And I think there is no shame in
- 51:37Speaker 1: any game like to say, like, I'm like, listen, Maria
- 51:39Speaker 1: lives with us, and I am so grateful that I
- 51:42Speaker 1: have her. She's part of our family. She you know,
- 51:46Speaker 1: cooks a heck of a lot better than I do.
- 51:49Speaker 1: We love her, we laugh with her, and like, without her,
- 51:53Speaker 1: I would at this stage in our life, I would
- 51:56Speaker 1: really be struggling. I mean with Slaton Crews, that wasn't
- 51:59Speaker 1: an offer for us, and you know, I was, you know,
- 52:01Speaker 1: not working in the same capacity, so it was me
- 52:04Speaker 1: and I can't imagine going through what we had gone,
- 52:07Speaker 1: you know. So I have so much empathy and like
- 52:10Speaker 1: for those moms who are just really slugging away, and
- 52:14Speaker 1: I'm grateful that we had it. But I think it's
- 52:16Speaker 1: important for people in the public eye to say, like, listen,
- 52:18Speaker 1: I do have help, and it's not always perfection, and
- 52:21Speaker 1: it's not always easy, and you know, and and when
- 52:25Speaker 1: people say, are you you know, do you feel bad
- 52:27Speaker 1: that you work or you do this thing? Is like no,
- 52:29Speaker 1: I want to show my kids that you have to
- 52:31Speaker 1: work if you know, if you want something or you
- 52:33Speaker 1: want to build your life, you have to do what
- 52:36Speaker 1: your you know, makes you happy. Totally listen. I think
- 52:39Speaker 1: that we're giving a lot and I have mom guilt
- 52:41Speaker 1: all the time. I've always worked. I also have post
- 52:45Speaker 1: traumatic stress syndrome. After season one because I want on
- 52:50Speaker 1: the show, I opened my house and my home and everything,
- 52:53Speaker 1: and you know, I had a baby, and I was
- 52:55Speaker 1: working and you know, with Pequin doing a lot of
- 52:58Speaker 1: things and and and a toddler, and we had help,
- 53:02Speaker 1: and the way it came across the first season was
- 53:06Speaker 1: that I was an absent mother. That was by far
- 53:11Speaker 1: the worst sword dagger to my heart that I've ever experienced,
- 53:17Speaker 1: especially for someone like me that I literally live from
- 53:20Speaker 1: my children, live for my children, live breathe exists for
- 53:23Speaker 1: my children, having help, having some support because of our hectic,
- 53:28Speaker 1: busy lives, and being able to have that support, you know,
- 53:31Speaker 1: as a working mom, I'm so grateful. But that doesn't
- 53:34Speaker 1: mean by any stretch of the imagination that you're not
- 53:38Speaker 1: there for your kids, not doing things for your kids.
- 53:41Speaker 1: I mean, and you know you can tell by looking
- 53:44Speaker 1: and meeting the kids and seeing the kids, you know,
- 53:46Speaker 1: how how they are, how people final family dynamic they have,
- 53:52Speaker 1: you know, even though they have some some additional support.
- 53:54Speaker 1: So I think that for me, with that, um, I
- 53:57Speaker 1: think that it had such a negative connotation, and I
- 53:59Speaker 1: think people you know, drew these conclusions and however they
- 54:03Speaker 1: wanted it to look, you know, and however it looked at,
- 54:06Speaker 1: it definitely garnered some attention. UM. But yeah, I think
- 54:10Speaker 1: that the support is amazing. I think as working moms,
- 54:13Speaker 1: you know, you need to in order to work some
- 54:15Speaker 1: of it's daycare. Some of it is you know, you
- 54:17Speaker 1: have a nanny or you have you know, a housekeeper.
- 54:20Speaker 1: I don't have a live in I think that that is,
- 54:22Speaker 1: you know, something that's that's incredible, but still have the
- 54:26Speaker 1: support where you know, I'm able to be involved with
- 54:30Speaker 1: the kids in every aspect, but yet also be able
- 54:34Speaker 1: to work and and luckily, the nature of my job
- 54:37Speaker 1: is I can fit in my work in between all
- 54:39Speaker 1: of those things. And I mean, I think it's it's
- 54:42Speaker 1: one of those things that ebbs and flows, you know
- 54:44Speaker 1: that I I will have to talk to the kids
- 54:46Speaker 1: sometimes they'll be like, this week is a really busy
- 54:48Speaker 1: work week for mommy, I love you so much, But
- 54:50Speaker 1: next week we are, you know, like and you know,
- 54:53Speaker 1: of course I'm still there for bedtime and stuff, but like,
- 54:55Speaker 1: there's sometimes when I really work is really busy, and
- 54:58Speaker 1: then it will be the same with I don't know,
- 55:00Speaker 1: some weeks that are he's so so busy, and I'm like, dude,
- 55:02Speaker 1: we gotta real, like, you know, and we just we
- 55:04Speaker 1: gotta check each other absolutely. And I think that the
- 55:07Speaker 1: biggest thing that really kind of turns me off when
- 55:11Speaker 1: it comes to the world of social media is uh,
- 55:15Speaker 1: mom shaming because at all just doing the best that
- 55:19Speaker 1: we can. And if you are taking time out of
- 55:21Speaker 1: your day to shame somebody for their parenting, it's something
- 55:26Speaker 1: that's going on with you, not uh. And and I
- 55:30Speaker 1: that's the one thing where I'm like block blog because
- 55:33Speaker 1: I can't. I'm like, I don't. I don't want to
- 55:35Speaker 1: see it. I don't need that. Like, if you want
- 55:37Speaker 1: to come at me for anything else, go for it.
- 55:40Speaker 1: It's a fair game. But that is like, no, same,
- 55:43Speaker 1: That's exactly why I'm it doesn't matter talk about anything
- 55:45Speaker 1: you want. You know, you don't have to look my upfit,
- 55:47Speaker 1: you don't have to like whatever it is. But don't
- 55:50Speaker 1: you dare slack off the one thing that I'm most
- 55:52Speaker 1: proud of you, the one thing that is it is
- 55:55Speaker 1: my whole heart, you know, And I know I'm such
- 55:58Speaker 1: a good mother. So when you when you make those, um,
- 56:02Speaker 1: you know, I don't think now. I mean this was
- 56:04Speaker 1: first season and then after that, I really, um, you know,
- 56:08Speaker 1: they captured a lot more, although not enough of me
- 56:10Speaker 1: and the kids. And that's fine, and well, I mean
- 56:13Speaker 1: the show is housewives, isn't it. It's not like you know,
- 56:16Speaker 1: they want to see a you know, a sliver of
- 56:18Speaker 1: your outside of your life. But they really want to
- 56:20Speaker 1: see you bashing it up with the ladies. I really
- 56:23Speaker 1: want a lot of find out. But Okay, to close out,
- 56:28Speaker 1: you gotta give us something juicy. You gotta give us
- 56:31Speaker 1: something like either something to tease, like that's coming forward
- 56:35Speaker 1: that we need to be looking forward to on the show,
- 56:38Speaker 1: some sort of rifft that maybe we don't see coming. Definitely,
- 56:43Speaker 1: there's things you don't see coming. Oh yeah, I mean there,
- 56:46Speaker 1: I can tell you this. Um. The the one thing
- 56:50Speaker 1: about this season that I found was there were a
- 56:54Speaker 1: lot of little risks, like something would happen and then
- 56:57Speaker 1: it moved into another direction and you don't even see
- 57:00Speaker 1: it coming, and then it moves in another direction. So
- 57:03Speaker 1: it doesn't linger the entire time. Obviously, things that are
- 57:06Speaker 1: going on with Rika they were unfolding while we were filming,
- 57:09Speaker 1: so there was new information happening all the time. But
- 57:12Speaker 1: outside of that, amongst the ladies and the relationships, I
- 57:15Speaker 1: would say that, um, the some of the riffs that happened,
- 57:21Speaker 1: um or the issues between the ladies, they you don't
- 57:24Speaker 1: expect it. Did everybody cry at one point? Um? No,
- 57:29Speaker 1: I don't think. I don't think most people cried. I've
- 57:33Speaker 1: seen it was three cries already. I don't know cries
- 57:37Speaker 1: already agree. But you you know what, you're not a
- 57:39Speaker 1: big prior. No, I'm not. I'm always no matter how
- 57:42Speaker 1: brutal it got. I was like, I was like, look
- 57:45Speaker 1: and I'm like, not even a teer one in that
- 57:48Speaker 1: I And meanwhile, I'm like, if I could remove my
- 57:51Speaker 1: tear ducks in places or else there, I know. Well,
- 57:55Speaker 1: I'll tell you something, Teddy, I you know, both cancers, yeah,
- 57:59Speaker 1: are I'm extremely sensitive. I grew up with a father
- 58:03Speaker 1: who was an Israeli paratrooper. It was being in my
- 58:07Speaker 1: mind from the very young age, like, you know, be tough,
- 58:11Speaker 1: you know, hold back your tears, be tough, mind over matter.
- 58:15Speaker 1: I don't think that that. I don't think I'm consciously
- 58:18Speaker 1: aware of it, because I do. I'll go when i'm
- 58:21Speaker 1: alone and i'm by myself and I think about these things,
- 58:25Speaker 1: you know, and then I'll start to cry. But mostly
- 58:28Speaker 1: you know, it's it. I wouldn't say I'm a crier,
- 58:32Speaker 1: and I definitely wouldn't say I'm not a crier. I
- 58:35Speaker 1: just think that um in the presser situation you've been
- 58:39Speaker 1: accustomed to holding it out. Yeah, it's more like the anxiety.
- 58:43Speaker 1: I wish I could have that release, to be honest
- 58:45Speaker 1: with you, because if I did release in that moment,
- 58:47Speaker 1: then I wouldn't be absorbed with so much anxiety. But
- 58:51Speaker 1: instead I get so much anxiety and then I'm just
- 58:54Speaker 1: like it. It messes up my mind. But I have
- 58:56Speaker 1: my moments, even with p K, Like if you get
- 58:59Speaker 1: into a fight, he's like, and he's a crier. Yeah,
- 59:02Speaker 1: oh my god, day I watched Frid two times in
- 59:10Speaker 1: our entirement. I'll forget it. If we watch sad movie.
- 59:13Speaker 1: I look over peaks like such a bride or bless him.
- 59:19Speaker 1: Oh that's what I love about him. But he will
- 59:21Speaker 1: always be like, why aren't you Brian? He doesn't want
- 59:24Speaker 1: to be the only crime. If we watch a sad
- 59:26Speaker 1: movie and if there's anything God forbid, God forbid that
- 59:30Speaker 1: happens to children, forget it immediately. Tears come down my eyes.
- 59:35Speaker 1: But like in a fight, no, I have it together
- 59:38Speaker 1: because I'm I'm you know, pride, Yeah, it's your pride,
- 59:42Speaker 1: damn it. I need to upline all right, guys, Well,
- 59:44Speaker 1: I we're running out of time I'm so bummed. Thank
- 59:47Speaker 1: you so much, Dream for joining, and uh maybe I'll
- 59:50Speaker 1: have you back on later when you when you get
- 59:52Speaker 1: into some muddy waters. Stee young guys, and I'll talk
- 59:56Speaker 1: to you all next week. Bye bye. Thanks for listening.
