- 0:39Speaker 2: rockin' over there right now.
- 0:40Speaker 1: Great time, and we're talking so fast because we cannot
- 0:44Speaker 1: wait to get to the main event, which is to
- 0:46Speaker 1: introduce our very special guest today, Keith Nielsen, costume designer extraordinaire,
- 0:52Speaker 1: who not only was the costume designer for the movie
- 0:54Speaker 1: we're discussing today, but he worked on A Biltmore Christmas,
- 0:58Speaker 1: A Merry Scottish Chris and last year's A Holiday Spectacular Key.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Thank you so much for being here.
- 1:05Speaker 4: Thank you for having me.
- 1:06Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, I'm so excited now, mit too, I
- 1:09Speaker 2: have like so many questions just about your process. How
- 1:13Speaker 2: it could I know nothing about making movies, zero things,
- 1:17Speaker 2: and so costume design is so cool, Like how did
- 1:21Speaker 2: you get there? We'll get all into it.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Cool.
- 1:24Speaker 3: Well, let's start with that. What was your path to
- 1:27Speaker 3: costume design as.
- 1:27Speaker 4: A job I'm doing. I've done everything I said I
- 1:30Speaker 4: would never do, so never say never, And one of
- 1:32Speaker 4: them was I never wanted to do costumes in college.
- 1:36Speaker 4: I actually have a business degree from an art school,
- 1:38Speaker 4: and there was a film program at my school, and
- 1:41Speaker 4: when you go to film school you want to do
- 1:42Speaker 4: like writing, directing, editing, like technical stuff. So once they
- 1:46Speaker 4: did their one prerequisite of like costumes and production design,
- 1:49Speaker 4: like anybody in any major could do it as like
- 1:51Speaker 4: an extracurricular thing. So my friend Hannah and I would
- 1:54Speaker 4: always do the clothes for fun. But I always said
- 1:56Speaker 4: I'd never do it because it took me like so
- 1:58Speaker 4: long to like always wanted to address people for like them,
- 2:02Speaker 4: like as a person and make them look the best,
- 2:04Speaker 4: not necessarily like the character, like I was worried about
- 2:07Speaker 4: like them in their opinion and not like the character's opinion.
- 2:09Speaker 4: And then one day something just clicked. And then after
- 2:13Speaker 4: college I had the opportunitutunity to do an internship and
- 2:16Speaker 4: I moved to New York in like a second, and
- 2:18Speaker 4: then it really snowballed from there. I mean I was
- 2:21Speaker 4: in the business probably for four years, and then I
- 2:24Speaker 4: got my first costume design gig, and then I was
- 2:26Speaker 4: like it also just kind of clicked, and I just
- 2:28Speaker 4: like didn't look back because I didn't want to. And
- 2:30Speaker 4: then now I say, I'm the King of Christmas Style.
- 2:34Speaker 2: I love that hold that I'm writing that down.
- 2:38Speaker 1: So you've worked in the past couple of years quite
- 2:41Speaker 1: a bit on Hallmark. How did you break into the
- 2:43Speaker 1: Hallmark world?
- 2:44Speaker 4: So in the pandemic, I had done a super indie
- 2:47Speaker 4: low budge Christmas movie twenty eighteen nineteen maybe and hit
- 2:54Speaker 4: it off with like a great group of crew. We
- 2:56Speaker 4: film a lot in the Northeast. We filmed that in
- 2:58Speaker 4: Connecticut and we all hit it off. And you know,
- 3:01Speaker 4: this business is all even now, it's all word of mouth.
- 3:04Speaker 4: I mean, if you can get a personal reference, it's
- 3:06Speaker 4: like you can be in like that. And Facebook post
- 3:09Speaker 4: came over about a movie filming in December twenty twenty
- 3:12Speaker 4: for Beet, and a friend from that movie tagged me
- 3:15Speaker 4: and I ended up getting hired, and then we all
- 3:18Speaker 4: really enjoyed working together, and that production company works for
- 3:22Speaker 4: Hallmark a lot, so then they introduced me like the
- 3:24Speaker 4: following season for Nextop Christmas, and then it kind of
- 3:28Speaker 4: you know, went from there.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Well, here's what's interesting.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I've been looking at a lot of the press sheets
- 3:33Speaker 1: for the movies that are coming out, and some of
- 3:36Speaker 1: them don't have a costume designer listed.
- 3:39Speaker 4: So some do and some don't.
- 3:41Speaker 1: Yes, oh, like all the ones that you're on have
- 3:44Speaker 1: you listed, but of the most recent ones that you're
- 3:48Speaker 1: not on have not listed a costume designer at.
- 3:51Speaker 3: All, but they all must have one.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Or yeah, totally. I mean it's I mean in all
- 3:56Speaker 4: the movies I did this year, with the exception from
- 3:57Speaker 4: Scotland because I was international where like full union production,
- 4:00Speaker 4: so it was my whole department was every department was
- 4:04Speaker 4: fully Union. So yeah, it's a real job and.
- 4:08Speaker 3: It was bizarre.
- 4:09Speaker 4: That's maybe it's just an oversight, so maybe they focus
- 4:13Speaker 4: on it when they want to highlight the clothes. Yeah,
- 4:16Speaker 4: I mean I'm there. I'm like super involved in like all,
- 4:19Speaker 4: Like I just listened in on a lot of creative conversations,
- 4:21Speaker 4: so like my name and positions kind of I just
- 4:25Speaker 4: I make it all about the clothes.
- 4:26Speaker 1: So the clothes are a character in these movies, even
- 4:30Speaker 1: in and we're going to talk about Mystic Christmas. But
- 4:32Speaker 1: this is not a movie like a Biltmore Christmas or
- 4:36Speaker 1: a holiday spectacular where your brain's like, oh, this is
- 4:38Speaker 1: a costume movie. They're right dressed like everyday people. But
- 4:42Speaker 1: I have thoughts on the costumes. Do you have a
- 4:45Speaker 1: favorite era to style a favorite style to style?
- 4:49Speaker 4: No, but I really really want to do Victorian and
- 4:52Speaker 4: like Turn of the century.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Asian a tiny bit this movie, didn't you do it tiny? Oh?
- 4:59Speaker 4: Yeah? But that was like costume yeah yeah, yeah, which
- 5:02Speaker 4: was also like cute, and I wanted it to like
- 5:05Speaker 4: make it like a combination of things that they might
- 5:07Speaker 4: have had in their closet and yeah, a couple of things.
- 5:09Speaker 4: And I wanted to be like they went and bought
- 5:11Speaker 4: like some crazy costume that was like totally out of reach,
- 5:13Speaker 4: And I thought, like, this impressed photo is out there.
- 5:15Speaker 4: I think they look so cute and they're like bright
- 5:17Speaker 4: colored front codes. I love anything and all eras. I
- 5:21Speaker 4: mean once I kind of like get the call for one,
- 5:23Speaker 4: I like deep dive into it, especially like I'd love
- 5:25Speaker 4: to do something like I don't know anything about like
- 5:28Speaker 4: or want to learn more about, like I'd love to
- 5:31Speaker 4: do like Jacobean or I love the Renaissance. I love
- 5:35Speaker 4: like religious renaissance. Are I mean yeah, I don't really
- 5:39Speaker 4: have a favorite. I think there's something interesting and like
- 5:40Speaker 4: creative about like all eras and stuff. But the farther
- 5:43Speaker 4: you go back, the harder it is, like technically.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Yeah, to source things without.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean it was significantly harder than the fifties,
- 5:54Speaker 4: and that was just like a ten year jump.
- 5:56Speaker 2: You're sourcing the clothing, but do you any of it?
- 6:01Speaker 2: Like are you sewing?
- 6:03Speaker 4: I have it? I don't. So in film you rarely
- 6:07Speaker 4: usually get to build things. I do have a tailor
- 6:09Speaker 4: on staff on all of my movies, just because I
- 6:11Speaker 4: think by personalizing, I mean in your life and stuff,
- 6:14Speaker 4: I always say like tailoring is the key, just like
- 6:17Speaker 4: doing proper hems on sleeves and pants and things built more.
- 6:20Speaker 4: We didn't do any full builds, but we did some
- 6:23Speaker 4: like altered builds. But then, like Mystic was interesting because
- 6:26Speaker 4: that movie didn't really have like the dress moment. It's
- 6:29Speaker 4: just the way it was outlined. It just didn't have that,
- 6:32Speaker 4: which is like fine, and was different, so it was
- 6:34Speaker 4: kind of finding like a different There was like different
- 6:36Speaker 4: creative events in there, like you mentioned like the Lantern tour,
- 6:39Speaker 4: so like that was kind of like a moment because
- 6:41Speaker 4: there was like a little bit of romance there. But yeah,
- 6:43Speaker 4: I mean Lacy's dress in Scotland built that was built
- 6:47Speaker 4: in literally like thirty six hours. Thank you, Claudia.
- 6:50Speaker 5: Wow.
- 6:51Speaker 4: Yeah, I know. So it just depends. I mean a
- 6:53Speaker 4: lot of it depends on timing. I love the opportunity
- 6:56Speaker 4: to build something just because I like things that one
- 6:59Speaker 4: creates come from me and it's a collaboration with the actor.
- 7:02Speaker 4: But also I like that it can't be generally accessible,
- 7:07Speaker 4: like it's special to that film and that character.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Yeah they're not getting it gap Yeah.
- 7:12Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Well I DM Keith because there was like really cute
- 7:16Speaker 2: sweater in Oh my Gosh, where are You Christmas? And
- 7:20Speaker 2: he's like Ann Taylor and I was like, oh my god,
- 7:23Speaker 2: thank God, Like can I.
- 7:24Speaker 6: I can have it?
- 7:25Speaker 3: Can I go out and buy that?
- 7:27Speaker 4: I mean it's weird. I don't know why and how
- 7:29Speaker 4: I remember like so much of where it's from. But
- 7:32Speaker 4: like I got a DM about ADDIE's coat from that
- 7:34Speaker 4: and they were I was like, well, you can probably
- 7:37Speaker 4: find it at the outlet, but I also completely rebuilt
- 7:39Speaker 4: it so that it doesn't really exist in that shape.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, I have a question for you. You had said
- 7:47Speaker 2: when we did our like pre interview stuff, you said
- 7:49Speaker 2: that I'm quoting you, costumes are so much more than clothes.
- 7:53Speaker 2: It's visual communication, and when building pieces from the ground up,
- 7:56Speaker 2: it can be very personal, And so I wondered what
- 7:59Speaker 2: that's like. We're collaborating with like the filmmaker, if they
- 8:03Speaker 2: have a vision and you have a vision, Like, how
- 8:06Speaker 2: does that come together? How do you compromise.
- 8:09Speaker 4: I'm really lucky that I've worked the teams that I've
- 8:12Speaker 4: worked with on all of mine have somewhat remained similar
- 8:15Speaker 4: the same. So I'm really really lucky that my producers
- 8:19Speaker 4: really trust me, and that if I'm happy and the
- 8:22Speaker 4: network's happy and the director's happy, everybody's happy. But I
- 8:26Speaker 4: mean it starts with like I get the scripts and
- 8:29Speaker 4: then I usually have like a costume meeting, And I
- 8:31Speaker 4: always like to point out when I talk to the
- 8:33Speaker 4: team at the network and the director, I'm like, I
- 8:36Speaker 4: think there's somewhat thing different in all of these movies,
- 8:38Speaker 4: even though it might be slight like and mystic. It
- 8:40Speaker 4: was like, we're actually set in Connecticut and we're down
- 8:43Speaker 4: by the seashore and there's a seal, so it's like,
- 8:47Speaker 4: how does and there isn't like a ball gown moment,
- 8:49Speaker 4: so like how does that change things? Versus like, you know,
- 8:52Speaker 4: a period movie like Builtmore. It's super collaborative. Usually I
- 8:55Speaker 4: just pitch my ideas and then I source things, and
- 8:59Speaker 4: sometimes you source them and that can completely change the trajectory,
- 9:02Speaker 4: you know. I'm like, oh, I found this and it's
- 9:04Speaker 4: totally speaking to me for like this, and it normally
- 9:06Speaker 4: starts with like one piece. I always really start with jackets,
- 9:09Speaker 4: just because when I'm filming off season it's harder to find.
- 9:12Speaker 4: So I'm like, I need to find a jacket, and
- 9:13Speaker 4: I'm scrolling for hours and hours and hours because I
- 9:17Speaker 4: want to find something different, and especially when I do
- 9:19Speaker 4: these back to back, I'm like I did four back
- 9:21Speaker 4: to back this year, and I was like, I needs
- 9:23Speaker 4: to be a different coat, like we need to mix
- 9:24Speaker 4: it up. And then the fitting. Sometimes you walk into
- 9:28Speaker 4: a fitting and you're like you look at the rack
- 9:30Speaker 4: and you look at the rack and you're like, it's
- 9:32Speaker 4: gonna be great, Like it's gonna be great, especially if
- 9:33Speaker 4: you've worked at the actor before, like when I did
- 9:36Speaker 4: Lindsay's fitting, like her second her fitting for Where Are You?
- 9:39Speaker 4: Because we did Next Stop together. It was a home
- 9:41Speaker 4: run because like she's like, we worked well together the
- 9:44Speaker 4: first time she trusted me. It was like bottoming bottom
- 9:46Speaker 4: Boom and Dustin our director who did Next Stop and
- 9:50Speaker 4: he also did Where Are You? And Scotland we've worked
- 9:53Speaker 4: together before, so he trusts me and he's like, whatever
- 9:56Speaker 4: works work, So it's lucky. It's fortunate in that way.
- 10:00Speaker 4: But there are some people not in any of the
- 10:01Speaker 4: ones that we're talking about today, but like I have had,
- 10:04Speaker 4: you know, people that are way more interested in clothes
- 10:07Speaker 4: versus others, which is fine. It just it depends on
- 10:10Speaker 4: the film. But overall, we do have meetings, like tone meetings.
- 10:13Speaker 4: We do have some collaborative platforms we use similar to
- 10:16Speaker 4: like Google groups and stuff, but I think they're better,
- 10:19Speaker 4: and everybody puts all their visual stuff in there, so
- 10:22Speaker 4: I'm able to look at like locations and production design
- 10:24Speaker 4: and like graphics. So like on Where Are You, I
- 10:27Speaker 4: saw the locations pictures and like the house like was
- 10:30Speaker 4: very beige so like I texted our production designer. I
- 10:33Speaker 4: was like, hey, are you painting any walls? And he's like,
- 10:35Speaker 4: we can't at this location. I was like, good to know, So, like,
- 10:37Speaker 4: don't put anybody in beige against a beige wall.
- 10:40Speaker 2: How far in advance are you guys working on the
- 10:43Speaker 2: film before actual shooting date.
- 10:46Speaker 4: I'm usually like two and a half weeks?
- 10:49Speaker 3: Wow? Wow?
- 10:50Speaker 5: What?
- 10:52Speaker 4: I'm always typically waiting on casting just because it's weird.
- 10:58Speaker 4: Sometimes you know way in advance, like they can get
- 11:00Speaker 4: casting it. Sometimes it's last minute. But like, I mean, luckily,
- 11:03Speaker 4: walking into Mystic, I knew I had Chandler and Jesse
- 11:06Speaker 4: and Chandler I had dressed before and so that was fine.
- 11:10Speaker 4: But like Biltmore, I mean I fit some people on
- 11:12Speaker 4: Saturday that worked on that Monday.
- 11:14Speaker 5: Wow.
- 11:15Speaker 4: Oh yeah. I always like when I see things online,
- 11:18Speaker 4: I'm like, if you only knew the truth, They're lucky
- 11:20Speaker 4: they have pens.
- 11:22Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:23Speaker 1: Is there any this is coming from a person with
- 11:26Speaker 1: body issues? Is there any communication with the actors where
- 11:29Speaker 1: they're like, I trust you, but also can we be
- 11:33Speaker 1: aware of like these facets of my body when we're dressing.
- 11:36Speaker 4: Me a million percent? I say, tell me everything because
- 11:40Speaker 4: if you don't tell me, then we're gonna walk in
- 11:42Speaker 4: with a fitting and we're all gonna walk out feeling
- 11:44Speaker 4: like not great. Yeah, like tell me. Like I've had
- 11:47Speaker 4: actors when I've gotten sizes, they're like, I hate my arms,
- 11:50Speaker 4: I hate my legs, and I like a high collar. Great.
- 11:52Speaker 4: I mean, you know your parameters, that didn't play within
- 11:54Speaker 4: those parameters and make it the best you can. Yeah.
- 11:57Speaker 4: I talk, and especially with period movies, I do talk
- 11:59Speaker 4: a lot about under garments just because that does affect
- 12:01Speaker 4: the shape of vintage garments. So I do like provide
- 12:07Speaker 4: a lot of different undergarments for period stuff. I also
- 12:09Speaker 4: do it for contemporary if people want it. But I
- 12:12Speaker 4: also encourage actors I work with to bring their own
- 12:14Speaker 4: like shape we're in undergarments because you know it's somewhat
- 12:16Speaker 4: molds to your body and you're comfortable in it, and
- 12:19Speaker 4: if it makes you feel better, then like great that
- 12:22Speaker 4: comes across on camera for sure. I love the more
- 12:25Speaker 4: I know, the more I can help you. And that's not.
- 12:28Speaker 1: Like, oh, you're being difficult thing when I'm like, please,
- 12:30Speaker 1: let's not accentuate whatever.
- 12:32Speaker 4: No, totally, because then if you're honest about that, then
- 12:35Speaker 4: i'n intell, like that's a point for you that's going
- 12:38Speaker 4: to show on camera. So that also helped me and
- 12:40Speaker 4: doesn't help you. It doesn't help anybody.
- 12:42Speaker 1: Yes, yes, yeah, Okay, we're going to talk Mystic Christmas
- 12:46Speaker 1: before we get into the details of the movie. Do
- 12:48Speaker 1: you want to talk about what working on this movie
- 12:50Speaker 1: was like for you?
- 12:51Speaker 4: This one was fun because we did Actually Where Are
- 12:54Speaker 4: You and Mystic right after one another, so we kept
- 12:56Speaker 4: a lot of the same crew. So it was like
- 12:58Speaker 4: a really really awesome working environment because we were like
- 13:02Speaker 4: comfortable with each other and we knew the flow and
- 13:04Speaker 4: we like shoot really fast, and that's just like so rare,
- 13:07Speaker 4: Like normally I'm showing up to a job with like
- 13:09Speaker 4: one hundred strangers and you're like, hope it works, hope
- 13:12Speaker 4: it's long. But this was awesome. Also, I'm from Connecticut,
- 13:16Speaker 4: so it was really cool. Like I went to the
- 13:18Speaker 4: aquarium in the village when I was in like elementary school,
- 13:21Speaker 4: and like when they did the lantern tour, like I
- 13:22Speaker 4: have a picture on the boat that's in the background
- 13:25Speaker 4: like when I was a kid, So it's like a
- 13:27Speaker 4: cool full circle thing. And also it's cool to be
- 13:30Speaker 4: like close to like family and like my storage units
- 13:33Speaker 4: here too, so like around things. But yeah, and I
- 13:37Speaker 4: was excited too because so many of these movies are
- 13:39Speaker 4: set and you know, a coastal town and or a
- 13:41Speaker 4: Connecticut town, so it kind of is like a love
- 13:44Speaker 4: letter do Mystic because we have filmed a bunch down
- 13:47Speaker 4: in the shoreline too, So I'm really excited for especially
- 13:50Speaker 4: like the locals to see it.
- 13:51Speaker 3: Yes, people get super jazzed about that.
- 13:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're like, that's my spot, Like that's so
- 13:56Speaker 2: so funny.
- 13:57Speaker 4: Story about that. I after Scotland had gone down to
- 14:00Speaker 4: London and I had seen a show and I ended
- 14:03Speaker 4: up at the hotel bar after and I was this
- 14:06Speaker 4: mom and daughter came down and sat next to me.
- 14:08Speaker 4: Crazy enough, they live in Mystic and came to watch
- 14:11Speaker 4: this film Mistic Christmas. I was like, what are the
- 14:14Speaker 4: chances of that?
- 14:15Speaker 3: So funny?
- 14:16Speaker 2: That's what a small world, That's fun I love it.
- 14:19Speaker 3: Well, I'm dying to talk about this movie.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Okay, are you ready for a synopsis?
- 14:23Speaker 8: Oh?
- 14:24Speaker 3: Yes, all right.
- 14:25Speaker 2: An animal expert answers a call for help from an
- 14:28Speaker 2: old friend, and that puts her in the path of
- 14:31Speaker 2: an X At Christmas Stars, Jesse Shram, Chandler Massey, and
- 14:37Speaker 2: Patty Mirren.
- 14:39Speaker 3: All right, it's time for first impressions. Keith ran to
- 14:41Speaker 3: let you go first.
- 14:42Speaker 4: Well, how do I have a first impression? I know
- 14:44Speaker 4: what's going to happen.
- 14:46Speaker 1: I read my first impression after I've seen the whole movie.
- 14:49Speaker 1: It's just like my like one liner thought about the movie.
- 14:52Speaker 4: I thought it was like a great classic Hallmark Christmas
- 14:56Speaker 4: movie that wasn't like over the top Christmas.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Mine is Jess and Chandler are dynamic together, and I
- 15:03Speaker 2: would love a sequel to this movie.
- 15:06Speaker 4: Oh really, yes, I'm not mad.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Mine is never judge a movie by its poster, because
- 15:15Speaker 1: had that been my one piece of information, I would
- 15:19Speaker 1: have skipped this movie.
- 15:21Speaker 4: I oh, the poster was weird.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Okay, thels behind them, it's just a little I get it. Like,
- 15:26Speaker 1: I actually love the Seal, but the posters.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Didn't do it justice.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Free My list of likes is so long, so let's
- 15:35Speaker 1: jump into what we liked about this movie.
- 15:37Speaker 3: Go ahead, Keith.
- 15:39Speaker 4: I liked the Seal.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Yeah, I cried when they released that seal into the ocean.
- 15:46Speaker 4: I personally liked at all of the locations are like
- 15:49Speaker 4: real places you can go and visit and Mystic. So
- 15:52Speaker 4: you can go to Stiff Bakery, you can get that
- 15:53Speaker 4: chestnut croissant, you can go to Mango's Pizza. So I
- 15:56Speaker 4: keep telling people, if you want your Christmas little village,
- 16:00Speaker 4: it's like cometimistic. I loved working with Patty Muhran just
- 16:03Speaker 4: because I was like, she was Anna and Frozen.
- 16:06Speaker 2: She's awesome. I love her. I wish they had her
- 16:09Speaker 2: on Hallwark more.
- 16:10Speaker 4: Yeah, I love that. That's a great positive for me.
- 16:13Speaker 4: Was this cast and yeah, I mean being employed. Great,
- 16:17Speaker 4: that's a like for me.
- 16:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 1: Juniper's green coat, Oh my gosh, the blue wait, oh
- 16:23Speaker 1: the plaide Are you taking the plaid one?
- 16:25Speaker 2: The blue and the green one?
- 16:26Speaker 4: Oh so good?
- 16:28Speaker 3: I guess it's so gorgeous.
- 16:30Speaker 1: And I think because, like you said, this movie doesn't
- 16:33Speaker 1: have the dress moment, like she's in half the time,
- 16:36Speaker 1: she's in like vet seals. Yeah, uniform uniform which actually
- 16:42Speaker 1: was quite well fitted.
- 16:43Speaker 4: I was like, look, thank you, it's a very exciting.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Well.
- 16:48Speaker 3: I was like, they're so flattery.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Yeah, little coveralls, but that co I was like, oh,
- 16:52Speaker 1: we don't get that big moment, but like she gets this.
- 16:56Speaker 3: I thought that was a nice she.
- 16:57Speaker 4: Had some great coats. It is also she's so tall
- 17:00Speaker 4: statue ass, so you can like pull off like a
- 17:02Speaker 4: long coat.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 17:03Speaker 3: I loved that coat.
- 17:04Speaker 2: I think us being here in California, we don't get
- 17:07Speaker 2: to wear coats like that, so every time we see one,
- 17:10Speaker 2: we're like, oh, I must have it just to look
- 17:13Speaker 2: at it, just to look, not to wear it, just
- 17:15Speaker 2: to hang in the closet and wearing a sweater and
- 17:17Speaker 2: currently sweating ninety degrees today.
- 17:20Speaker 3: I loved this movie. Yeah, I love this I truly
- 17:26Speaker 3: am my.
- 17:27Speaker 1: I can't it's I'm shocked how much I liked it
- 17:30Speaker 1: for like a second weekend movie. I thought it was
- 17:33Speaker 1: Chandler Massey and Jesse Shram were magical. They were both
- 17:38Speaker 1: fully at the top of their game. I loved the writing.
- 17:41Speaker 2: I agree, and I was a little nervous about it.
- 17:44Speaker 2: I really liked it.
- 17:46Speaker 1: The interns could have been so crazy, and they were
- 17:49Speaker 1: so good, all three of them, and each of them
- 17:52Speaker 1: had their own storyline that we got enough information about,
- 17:57Speaker 1: like they got to be individuals instead of like clumb
- 18:00Speaker 1: of goofy characters that got in the way.
- 18:02Speaker 4: Agree, And that's a testament I think to the writing too,
- 18:04Speaker 4: because sometimes they like they gave you enough of like
- 18:08Speaker 4: the interns and like Brooke who works at the pizza shop,
- 18:12Speaker 4: but like not too much, like overpower. It was a
- 18:15Speaker 4: good balance of like an ensemble cast.
- 18:17Speaker 1: I was trying to find the writer Nicole Dressmel online
- 18:19Speaker 1: because I wanted to send her message to let her
- 18:22Speaker 1: know how much I loved the writing in this truly.
- 18:24Speaker 3: As I was writing my notes, I was like, she
- 18:26Speaker 3: needs to know.
- 18:27Speaker 1: She does not have a public facing Instagram or Twitter
- 18:30Speaker 1: that is currently active.
- 18:31Speaker 2: You have you have her phone number, Keith? Can you?
- 18:33Speaker 4: I mean maybe I'll do some I can. I mean,
- 18:35Speaker 4: I can text some people.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I just wanted to rave. What did you like?
- 18:42Speaker 4: Well?
- 18:42Speaker 2: I have a question first before jumping into what I liked.
- 18:45Speaker 2: I noticed that Jesse and Chandler were color coordinated. Was
- 18:49Speaker 2: that on purpose?
- 18:50Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 18:51Speaker 2: And why do you? And why do you do that?
- 18:53Speaker 2: I don't know anything about anything thing.
- 18:55Speaker 4: I mean, it's just a thing. I don't know. I like,
- 18:58Speaker 4: I always was taught like look at the frame as
- 19:01Speaker 4: a painting, and I always also was taught. And then
- 19:05Speaker 4: like if you can't hear anything, can you make like
- 19:07Speaker 4: color connections?
- 19:08Speaker 6: More?
- 19:09Speaker 4: Like color is really important? So yeah, it's intentional. I
- 19:13Speaker 4: think I did it more here than I've done it
- 19:15Speaker 4: in the past. But I mean I did the same thing.
- 19:17Speaker 4: And next up Christmas. When Chandler's sweater matches like Lindsay's.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Dress, I'm gonna have to go back and watch and
- 19:23Speaker 2: see those details.
- 19:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 19:26Speaker 4: I love the color connections.
- 19:27Speaker 3: Message that they belong together.
- 19:29Speaker 2: But they belong together, they fit together. Yet I loved
- 19:32Speaker 2: like the color story too that you picked. It was
- 19:34Speaker 2: like those blues and greens, so pretty.
- 19:38Speaker 4: Of course it was intentional too, just because being like
- 19:41Speaker 4: by the water and like toasts, so I wanted to
- 19:43Speaker 4: have nautical but like not but also of Christmas. It
- 19:47Speaker 4: was like a balance game.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Yeah, so nice. I didn't know how I was going
- 19:51Speaker 2: to feel going into this movie. I was hung up
- 19:53Speaker 2: on Mystic Pizza, which is a movie from the late
- 19:56Speaker 2: eighties early nineties, and so I really didn't know what
- 20:00Speaker 2: to expect. And how does this like homework Christmas movie?
- 20:05Speaker 2: What's it have to do with a seal? Like, I
- 20:07Speaker 2: really didn't know. I was so pleasantly surprised how much
- 20:11Speaker 2: I liked it, and at the end was like feeling
- 20:14Speaker 2: happy and you know me, I don't really like a
- 20:16Speaker 2: lot of these movies. So this movie just like blew
- 20:20Speaker 2: Me Away.
- 20:22Speaker 3: I fully agree. I can't say enough good things about
- 20:24Speaker 3: this movie.
- 20:25Speaker 2: The writing, like you said, there were some gems. There
- 20:28Speaker 2: was one the whole scene where she cancels the date
- 20:32Speaker 2: and he gives like the thumb up emoji and then
- 20:35Speaker 2: they talk about it and I can't remember the character's name.
- 20:38Speaker 2: It was the dad of the girl who was the
- 20:40Speaker 2: intern in a row. He tells them he's like, he's like,
- 20:45Speaker 2: there's a fine line between low key and passive aggressive,
- 20:49Speaker 2: and I thought this was like I laughed out loud.
- 20:52Speaker 2: I thought some of the writing was really really great.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I have so many lines written down that I loved,
- 20:57Speaker 1: Like when they're talking about tradition and Juniper says, do.
- 20:59Speaker 3: You do you like it? Or do you just remember it?
- 21:02Speaker 3: And I felt as a Christmas lover if you very
- 21:04Speaker 3: called out, I was like, oh no, do I.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Just remember it? Is that why it's important? Or do
- 21:09Speaker 1: I actually like the truth?
- 21:11Speaker 2: I thought that was a moving moment there.
- 21:14Speaker 4: Yes.
- 21:15Speaker 1: And so when Sawyer is at the aquarium because Peppermint
- 21:19Speaker 1: is sick and he's waiting around and Juniper comes out
- 21:21Speaker 1: and says, you can go home, and he goes, are
- 21:22Speaker 1: you sure I can stay and do more nothing?
- 21:24Speaker 3: There were just so many I could have written the
- 21:26Speaker 3: entire scripts down it was.
- 21:28Speaker 2: I loved it.
- 21:29Speaker 4: I think that's the scene where he wears this shirt.
- 21:32Speaker 3: I think you're right.
- 21:35Speaker 4: I'm such a cheesy person. I was like, I'm gonna
- 21:37Speaker 4: go get Chandler's shirt out of storeage.
- 21:39Speaker 3: What's that?
- 21:41Speaker 2: I love this. I notoriously hate children in Hallmark movies.
- 21:46Speaker 2: I loved Louisa. I loved her because she wasn't like precocious.
- 21:51Speaker 2: She was just like a regular kid with like her
- 21:54Speaker 2: crazy adult teeth coming in like. She was just adorable.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Am I brong?
- 21:59Speaker 1: No?
- 21:59Speaker 3: I loved her.
- 22:00Speaker 1: I felt very protective of her as soon as she
- 22:01Speaker 1: came on screen because Wendy hates kids, and so I
- 22:05Speaker 1: was like.
- 22:05Speaker 3: Certainly she can't hate this one, and she didn't.
- 22:07Speaker 2: She was so cute.
- 22:08Speaker 4: I mean, she's friends with sea lions, come on, so cute.
- 22:12Speaker 3: She loves to read. She's like a little me.
- 22:14Speaker 2: I thought she were finding me a lot of your daughter,
- 22:17Speaker 2: to be honest.
- 22:18Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah.
- 22:20Speaker 1: The argument that Sawyer and Juniper have is so amazing
- 22:23Speaker 1: and again well scripted, where you know she says to him,
- 22:27Speaker 1: people in small towns assume that people who travel can't
- 22:30Speaker 1: make connections. And he's like, well, you people who are
- 22:32Speaker 1: traveling assume people in small towns like you look down
- 22:34Speaker 1: your noses at us. It was an argument that had
- 22:38Speaker 1: such depth and was so well communicated, and again was
- 22:41Speaker 1: next level and wasn't unlike some other moments since we've
- 22:44Speaker 1: based on a miscommunication.
- 22:46Speaker 4: Well, they had a deep history. I mean that email
- 22:48Speaker 4: situation from ten years so they were both fest starting
- 22:51Speaker 4: on that for a while.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I'm so glad he looked in his draft.
- 22:54Speaker 1: I was like, surely there's a record, like, why have
- 22:56Speaker 1: we not looked to be to prove myself and immediately.
- 23:00Speaker 2: Well, in my head and I know this is so
- 23:02Speaker 2: not Hallmark and you can cut this, but in my head,
- 23:05Speaker 2: their night that they had spent together, like they had
- 23:07Speaker 2: spent the night together. That's that's what I thought.
- 23:12Speaker 1: So much, like, of course, what they're up all night talking? Yeah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: I know, I know, Please, they don't need a costume
- 23:18Speaker 1: for that. I thought it was very sweet when she
- 23:23Speaker 1: calls her mom for advice. Yeah, and her dad immediately
- 23:26Speaker 1: calls because her mom reached out and let him know.
- 23:29Speaker 3: And I thought that sent the message home.
- 23:31Speaker 1: They're talking about like, hey, the assumption that people who
- 23:33Speaker 1: are always on the go can't make connections. And look she,
- 23:37Speaker 1: her mom and her dad all are doing their own thing.
- 23:39Speaker 1: They're all out in the world, but look at the
- 23:41Speaker 1: connection they still have to each other.
- 23:43Speaker 4: And that's where she gets it too. They're both on
- 23:46Speaker 4: the road.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Let's talk what we wished for? Okay?
- 23:49Speaker 2: Can I go first here?
- 23:51Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 23:51Speaker 2: Yes, I love when Hallmark can sometimes pull off a
- 23:56Speaker 2: teachable moment, and I wish here they would have talked
- 24:00Speaker 2: little bit more about seal conservation. But that's because I'm
- 24:03Speaker 2: a nerd, and so I would have loved a little
- 24:06Speaker 2: bit like why they I know, the seal was sick
- 24:09Speaker 2: and that's why she was there to help like rehabit,
- 24:12Speaker 2: to get back into the ocean and all that, but like,
- 24:15Speaker 2: why was the seal sick? Like was there you.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Wanted more like backstory like storry? Yeah?
- 24:22Speaker 3: Yeah, how are the humans at play here?
- 24:24Speaker 5: Yes?
- 24:25Speaker 1: I did like how she was like, you know, we
- 24:26Speaker 1: need to limit our interaction with the seal so they
- 24:28Speaker 1: don't become dependent on us and they're able to be
- 24:32Speaker 1: re realleased. I was shocked how realistic the seal scenes
- 24:36Speaker 1: were because we saw that behind.
- 24:39Speaker 4: The scenes picture. No, oh wait you saw what? Uh?
- 24:44Speaker 1: We watched an older movie over the summer where there
- 24:46Speaker 1: was like a turtle conservation situation and it was straight
- 24:49Speaker 1: up like stuffed turtles that they're like moving.
- 24:52Speaker 2: It was terrible bad.
- 24:53Speaker 3: So the seal was so good. Tell me about the
- 24:56Speaker 3: behind the scenes.
- 24:57Speaker 4: Oh no, there's a photo going around on Twitter with
- 24:59Speaker 4: Brandon Hunter who works in the production office, with like
- 25:02Speaker 4: a statue of a seal, and it like went around
- 25:05Speaker 4: a lot. But that was like the stand in for
- 25:08Speaker 4: when we didn't have the real seal. You never see
- 25:11Speaker 4: it in the cut, but the seals they're talking real
- 25:15Speaker 4: like yes, like Peppermint is real. There's like a shot
- 25:19Speaker 4: with like the seal and then like the four of
- 25:21Speaker 4: them with the interns, like they are in that enclosure together.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Wow.
- 25:26Speaker 1: When they release Peppermint, do they like race back in
- 25:30Speaker 1: the ocean to get her?
- 25:32Speaker 3: How does that? How did that happen? She goes into
- 25:35Speaker 3: the ocean?
- 25:35Speaker 1: Instagrams, I don't know, this can't be cgi wait Pepperman, Yes,
- 25:40Speaker 1: they release Peppermint into the ocean.
- 25:43Speaker 4: Oh well, do you want the truth?
- 25:47Speaker 3: The truth?
- 25:49Speaker 4: Well, the truth is is mystic aquarium does have like
- 25:51Speaker 4: a big like rescue and rehab facility.
- 25:55Speaker 3: Well that's footage from some other release.
- 25:57Speaker 4: It's a difference.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Yeah, that's thank you. I should have gotten there whatever.
- 26:02Speaker 4: I cried.
- 26:03Speaker 3: I cried Peppermint.
- 26:04Speaker 2: I was like, go Peppermint, go oh yeah.
- 26:08Speaker 4: I thought like did they go and be like come back?
- 26:13Speaker 1: That's how compelling this was to me because obviously Peppermint,
- 26:17Speaker 1: the actor is not ready for.
- 26:19Speaker 2: Really was the actor good?
- 26:22Speaker 1: This is a silly wish, but I thought Ken insisting
- 26:25Speaker 1: that Juniper take notes, Oh no, gross.
- 26:29Speaker 3: I was like, you don't make the woman even Sawyers
- 26:33Speaker 3: like I'll take notes.
- 26:34Speaker 4: He's like.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Before he's given her like five other jobs and there's
- 26:39Speaker 1: a room full of people.
- 26:40Speaker 3: It's such like leading dude giving.
- 26:44Speaker 1: She's like, you know, I'm a I'm a little doctor.
- 26:48Speaker 1: You take notes because your handwriting is nicer.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Which, speaking of doctor Jesse like went and like shadowed
- 26:55Speaker 4: like the trainers, so like for like days on end.
- 26:58Speaker 4: So she really like got in there.
- 27:00Speaker 2: I love it.
- 27:00Speaker 4: I love her.
- 27:01Speaker 2: I love her. I know we need her in more movies.
- 27:04Speaker 2: Right before I go on, what.
- 27:06Speaker 3: Did you wish for?
- 27:07Speaker 5: Keith?
- 27:08Speaker 4: I mean, mine's like super basic. I wish for more
- 27:10Speaker 4: beluga whales and more penguin shots just because they're my favorite.
- 27:15Speaker 4: At the aquarium shot with.
- 27:17Speaker 3: They're setting up like the little Christmas scene.
- 27:19Speaker 4: In there with Chandler in there with the penguins. Yeah,
- 27:22Speaker 4: they actually put him in there. Like the aquarium was
- 27:25Speaker 4: like so awesome with us and like really getting like
- 27:29Speaker 4: actual shots and not like you know, using green screen
- 27:32Speaker 4: and stuff. And I do wish the script had like
- 27:34Speaker 4: a dress moment, but that's just like me, but I
- 27:37Speaker 4: get it didn't really like fit and I have other
- 27:39Speaker 4: gowns this year, so I'll survive.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I mean, look lazy in a Mary Scottish Christmas is
- 27:46Speaker 1: the moment for me that plaid. I can't get over it.
- 27:49Speaker 1: I'm having a movie obviously it is a.
- 27:52Speaker 4: Dress in builtmore that's like a moment for me that
- 27:54Speaker 4: it's out there, but it's like it's not the one
- 27:56Speaker 4: on the poster, but it can't wait. The movie within
- 27:59Speaker 4: a movie situation.
- 28:00Speaker 1: Oh, Sawyer's a bad manager.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Sawyer's a bad manager. And I'll tell you why.
- 28:06Speaker 1: They came up on this moment where Brook's like, you
- 28:08Speaker 1: have to let me be the manager because there's not
- 28:10Speaker 1: going to be one and he's still.
- 28:12Speaker 3: Like, I'll figure it out. No, dude, if you're a
- 28:15Speaker 3: good manager, you have a contingency plan in place, and
- 28:18Speaker 3: that includes training your best employee to be the manager
- 28:21Speaker 3: for a case.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Just like this. All right, I don't know how I
- 28:24Speaker 4: Sawyer has so much time in a day because he's
- 28:27Speaker 4: like helping the neighbors, he's bringing Louis running out rule,
- 28:30Speaker 4: he's running the restaurant. And let me say, if you're
- 28:33Speaker 4: ever a missick, Mango's pizza's pretty bomb.
- 28:35Speaker 3: It looks good.
- 28:36Speaker 2: I know. I was wondering if that was was that
- 28:38Speaker 2: pizza that they were eating actually from Mango's or was
- 28:41Speaker 2: that they were.
- 28:42Speaker 4: Making it right there for us?
- 28:43Speaker 2: Oh, I love it?
- 28:44Speaker 4: And then what was awesome for us on the cruise
- 28:46Speaker 4: we got to eat it after.
- 28:49Speaker 3: I'd just like to.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Point out that these two are terrible communicators, Like if
- 28:52Speaker 1: the entire conflict is based on like, you never emailed me,
- 28:58Speaker 1: but we had this amazing.
- 28:59Speaker 3: Room took a relationship.
- 29:01Speaker 1: And then the sister knows that they both loved that
- 29:04Speaker 1: moment and they're like deadlocked, and then they have this
- 29:08Speaker 1: whole text message moment where she can't just say there's.
- 29:11Speaker 3: A sixth seal.
- 29:11Speaker 1: That's why I'm canceling, not because I have a flate
- 29:14Speaker 1: like y'll point vocabulary.
- 29:17Speaker 4: Yeah, like Pepperman is you know code read gotta go.
- 29:22Speaker 6: Not like not gonna make it funny. Okay, did you
- 29:26Speaker 6: see that I have one? Yeah, And maybe Keith can
- 29:30Speaker 6: give us some background here. There was a shot where
- 29:33Speaker 6: there look like there were seal trainers.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Who were training are dolphins.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Now there are seals, I know what you're talking about,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and they're like doing tricks in the background.
- 29:44Speaker 2: Is that like at a rehab place, it would be
- 29:48Speaker 2: interesting that they would have.
- 29:49Speaker 3: Interview aquarium so they have entertainment and they're safe.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Our local aquarium doesn't have like entertainment like that, like SeaWorld.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Well a mystic a Graham has like animals that can't
- 30:03Speaker 4: be released, Oh okay, live there, like the blugas and
- 30:07Speaker 4: the penguins, and like Peppermint can't the real Peppermint like
- 30:11Speaker 4: cannot be released and lives there. And then they have
- 30:14Speaker 4: a whole separate section that's all for rehab, which okay,
- 30:18Speaker 4: like you're not allowed to film in.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Think of it, like the San Diego Zoo. The San
- 30:22Speaker 3: Diego Zoo.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Has like a rehab Okay, I actually loved that little
- 30:26Speaker 1: background like you see them.
- 30:27Speaker 3: I know it was cool too.
- 30:29Speaker 4: She's on the phone right, Yes, yeah, that was actually
- 30:32Speaker 4: fun to shoot because they were like running their news
- 30:34Speaker 4: show and then like comes out of the water. Yes.
- 30:37Speaker 1: My only did you see that moment is there's putting
- 30:40Speaker 1: up flyers and juniper sticks hers to burlap with tape.
- 30:43Speaker 1: I was like, lady, you're a scientist, you have.
- 30:45Speaker 3: To know that. Like women in stem, this is not
- 30:47Speaker 3: gonna work.
- 30:48Speaker 1: Don't even notice well, and then Sweyar comes up and
- 30:50Speaker 1: he's like, I got a stayler, Oh I got that.
- 30:54Speaker 2: We missed that. I have never seen the sign the flyer.
- 30:57Speaker 3: What about you, Keith?
- 30:59Speaker 4: I don't know if I have a Do you see that?
- 31:00Speaker 3: I mean you were there, so you're like I know everything.
- 31:04Speaker 3: I saw it all.
- 31:05Speaker 8: I mean normally I have like I know, like like
- 31:08Speaker 8: in Next Stop, I always get roasted because there's a
- 31:10Speaker 8: pair of pants that are hemmed too short, But I
- 31:12Speaker 8: feel like really won like that in this we.
- 31:15Speaker 3: Have roasted some costuming, but never yours.
- 31:17Speaker 2: Never yours, never yours, your Stef's always There was a.
- 31:21Speaker 1: Tragic white Sandal moment that Wendy still can't get over.
- 31:25Speaker 4: In a Christmas movie summer movie Sandal at Christmas.
- 31:31Speaker 3: All right, out of five stars, what did you rate
- 31:35Speaker 3: this movie?
- 31:36Speaker 4: I'm at like a four point five too?
- 31:40Speaker 3: What senergy?
- 31:41Speaker 4: Look at that?
- 31:42Speaker 3: Honestly, I can't get over. I love this was cute.
- 31:46Speaker 3: It was super cute. Watch a hit. I think I'm
- 31:49Speaker 3: so excited to hear that.
- 31:51Speaker 4: I mean, I'm excited for I get to be out
- 31:53Speaker 4: out and I want to. I think it's going to
- 31:54Speaker 4: do well. I hope it does.
- 31:56Speaker 3: I think it's going to be one of the surprise
- 31:59Speaker 3: hits of the season. Okay, yeah, and we watch a
- 32:02Speaker 3: lot of movies.
- 32:03Speaker 4: Until Biltmore comes to school bosh it.
- 32:05Speaker 3: But I don't think that. I think it's going to
- 32:07Speaker 3: be fantastic. But everyone's expecting that to be great.
- 32:10Speaker 4: Right, And it's also a different kind of great because
- 32:12Speaker 4: the Mystic Christmas is all contemporary and also when we,
- 32:16Speaker 4: like I said before, like when we made it like
- 32:18Speaker 4: it was about like highlighting real mystic and like real location.
- 32:22Speaker 4: So it's just a different vibe.
- 32:24Speaker 1: Yes, I have room in my heart for many great
- 32:27Speaker 1: Hallmark movies. Well, Keith, tell everybody where they can find you.
- 32:32Speaker 4: I'm at Keith Underscore Costumes on Instagram and Twitter. I'm
- 32:36Speaker 4: mostly active on Instagram. I'm Keith Costumes dot com. It's
- 32:40Speaker 4: all about the branding Keith Costumes. Which it's funny. That's
- 32:44Speaker 4: a funny story. Is my what My assistant I work
- 32:48Speaker 4: with a lot laughs at me every time I call
- 32:50Speaker 4: myself Keith Costumes. But it came about because in this business,
- 32:54Speaker 4: like we're always meeting people, so it's like, hey, what's
- 32:56Speaker 4: your name? And like, hey, I'm Keith, and it's like
- 32:58Speaker 4: the second question is, oh, what are you do? So
- 33:01Speaker 4: it became Keith Costumes, and then on Instagram on the
- 33:05Speaker 4: Iconic Keith Costumes, and then now because I went to Scotland,
- 33:07Speaker 4: the Iconic International, so we just keep adding.
- 33:10Speaker 3: You know, work, How was Scotland?
- 33:13Speaker 4: So we filmed a lot in Ireland. I'm ready to
- 33:17Speaker 4: move there, but the people are amazing.
- 33:20Speaker 3: Where in Ireland did you film?
- 33:22Speaker 4: We were based in Dublin, but we were constantly commuting
- 33:25Speaker 4: like forty five minutes to an hour outside. I learned
- 33:29Speaker 4: that castle life is not for me. I lived in
- 33:31Speaker 4: one of the castles we shot in a little drafty No,
- 33:35Speaker 4: it was mainly there was like the only thing around
- 33:38Speaker 4: there was the castle and the only seat was the
- 33:40Speaker 4: restaurant that like closed at like eight o'clock, So.
- 33:45Speaker 3: Not a whole lot of city life.
- 33:48Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, for sure. And then we went over to
- 33:51Speaker 4: Scotland for a couple of days, which was stunning. But
- 33:53Speaker 4: I mean these castles were made back in the day
- 33:56Speaker 4: and like that's the only thing there on like five
- 33:59Speaker 4: thousand acres. But I mean it's awesome and I'm so
- 34:02Speaker 4: grateful for the opportunity to go and do it. And yeah,
- 34:06Speaker 4: I mean we were all over. You know, we have
- 34:07Speaker 4: built more North Carolina Red leg Falls and where are
- 34:11Speaker 4: you Christmas Mystic? And then Scotland.
- 34:16Speaker 1: I feel like we did not give Patty me your injustice.
- 34:18Speaker 1: We briefly talked about her, but she was a star
- 34:22Speaker 1: in this movie. I just feel like I need to
- 34:23Speaker 1: restate she was awesome in this movie. Did you ever
- 34:26Speaker 1: see Frozen on Broadway?
- 34:27Speaker 4: I did with her, And it's so funny because when
- 34:30Speaker 4: she got cast, I texted Jenna Claire and I was like,
- 34:33Speaker 4: I'm doing a movie with Patty and She's like, she's
- 34:34Speaker 4: the best to today. You'll have a great time, And
- 34:36Speaker 4: I was like, do you think she wants to build
- 34:38Speaker 4: a snowman?
- 34:39Speaker 3: Oh?
- 34:40Speaker 2: My god, you're so cute.
- 34:41Speaker 3: I know I loved I. I didn't love I thought
- 34:46Speaker 3: she was fantastic, but I didn't love Frozen on Broadway.
- 34:50Speaker 4: I agree with you because I could be wrong. I
- 34:53Speaker 4: wanted like the movie on stage, yes, and I feel
- 34:57Speaker 4: like they changed a little too much, so.
- 34:58Speaker 3: Much of it.
- 34:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 1: My daughter's doing a Frozen production right now and they're
- 35:03Speaker 1: like practicing the hooga song.
- 35:04Speaker 3: And I'm like, it's cute. But I was like, that's
- 35:07Speaker 3: not it's not Frozen.
- 35:10Speaker 4: They lost me and that's ok.
- 35:15Speaker 1: It past two lines, y'all, Like he doesn't need a
- 35:18Speaker 1: whole dance number. All right, they've gone off the rails. Keith,
