Russell Brand convicted of rape and three sexual assaults

Russell Brand has been found guilty in London of one rape charge and three sexual assault charges. The jury spent eight hours and thirty minutes deliberating. It also found him not guilty on two other rape charges and a charge of attempted indecent assault. The judge said Brand would inevitably face a significant custodial sentence.
