- 0:00Speaker 1: Get your weeds off my lawn. It's one more thing.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm strong and.
- 0:07Speaker 3: Very exciting, Katie Green driven. One more thing before we
- 0:11Speaker 3: get to that. Two things I just came across, both
- 0:15Speaker 3: of them barely interesting and inconsequential.
- 0:18Speaker 2: One.
- 0:20Speaker 3: Salma Hayek is going to be on the cover of
- 0:22Speaker 3: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue at age fifty eight.
- 0:26Speaker 2: So there you go.
- 0:28Speaker 4: I who do they think they're pleasing with their activisty.
- 0:32Speaker 4: It's not just hot young chicks. Make it hot young
- 0:36Speaker 4: chicks or don't.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Or you know, air brushing or whatever they used to
- 0:40Speaker 3: call it has always been a thing. But now when
- 0:42Speaker 3: I can make myself look hot in like two minutes
- 0:45Speaker 3: with an app, what is the point of any picture
- 0:48Speaker 3: of anybody? I mean, what does it reveal?
- 0:51Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 0:53Speaker 4: You can do it in video if you want, if
- 0:55Speaker 4: you pay nineteen ninety nine for the advanced version of
- 0:58Speaker 4: whatever AI.
- 1:00Speaker 3: And here's one other interesting nugget. Two of the biggest
- 1:02Speaker 3: stories of the news cycle yesterday, the Menendez Brothers and
- 1:06Speaker 3: Pete Rose an eighties throwback. Somebody looked it up. Dig this.
- 1:12Speaker 3: The Menendez Brothers murders were August twentieth, nineteen eighty nine.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Pete Rose Band August twenty fourth, nineteen eighty nine. Four
- 1:21Speaker 3: days part the same week within four days of each other.
- 1:25Speaker 3: Resolve August eighty nine, Throwback eighties. Oh damned, Okay, back
- 1:32Speaker 3: to you. What was OJ up up to that week?
- 1:34Speaker 5: Right?
- 1:36Speaker 3: Good question?
- 1:38Speaker 1: All right?
- 1:39Speaker 6: Well, I feel like such like a I don't know
- 1:42Speaker 6: if a bad neighbor is the right word, but I
- 1:44Speaker 6: care a.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Lot about the judge of that.
- 1:46Speaker 1: Okay, That's that's why I'm bringing it to you, guys.
- 1:48Speaker 3: I'm on your side.
- 1:50Speaker 1: Thanks. So I take really really good care of our yard.
- 1:54Speaker 1: That's kind of my job.
- 1:55Speaker 6: I hang all the little lights, I take care of
- 1:58Speaker 6: all the weeds, I do all of that stuff. Okay,
- 2:00Speaker 6: So this weekend, I'm out in my front yard and
- 2:03Speaker 6: my neighbor's house. Her front yard looks like that of
- 2:08Speaker 6: a trap house. She just let it go. It looks
- 2:13Speaker 6: like absolute garbage. And we do have a homeowner's association
- 2:17Speaker 6: around here. But I go over and I'm pulling the weeds,
- 2:20Speaker 6: and I've noticed one of her weeds grew out of
- 2:25Speaker 6: her yard into my front yard and wrapped itself around
- 2:28Speaker 6: the base of this.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Tree that I have.
- 2:31Speaker 4: Hmm.
- 2:32Speaker 1: I was talking to my parents about this.
- 2:34Speaker 6: My mom was like, gung ho, call the h O way,
- 2:37Speaker 6: see if you can do it anonymously.
- 2:39Speaker 1: And my dad was like, don't be that dick. So
- 2:42Speaker 1: I don't know your dad the judge with I was like,
- 2:45Speaker 1: don't do that.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Not judgmental.
- 2:47Speaker 6: Well, he was coming at the angle of like if
- 2:50Speaker 6: somehow the woman next door was informed that it was me,
- 2:53Speaker 6: it could cause a neighbor rift.
- 2:55Speaker 3: Had you considered going in, like cutting it off and whatever?
- 2:58Speaker 1: No, I did.
- 3:00Speaker 6: I pulled it out. I actually did her a favor
- 3:03Speaker 6: by pulling it. I went over the property line and
- 3:06Speaker 6: pulled it out of her yard. But also side note.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Have you considered digging a pit with spikes at the bottom.
- 3:13Speaker 6: I thought about it after my first encounter with her,
- 3:15Speaker 6: cause she knew. So my first encounter with this woman
- 3:18Speaker 6: was not a delight. And then this is happening. So
- 3:21Speaker 6: I don't know if I should just say screw it
- 3:23Speaker 6: and go to the HOA because it really.
- 3:25Speaker 1: It's it's starting to it started to pisse off.
- 3:27Speaker 3: Tell us more about your encounter with the woman. Oh,
- 3:30Speaker 3: good god, she comes off as the sort of person
- 3:34Speaker 3: would have the yard, that story yard she has.
- 3:37Speaker 6: Yeah, well, she she started our relationship by coming over
- 3:41Speaker 6: to let me know that I guess something had gone
- 3:44Speaker 6: wrong with my sprinkler system and there was some flooding
- 3:48Speaker 6: that went into a certain part of her yard that
- 3:50Speaker 6: she wasn't sure, so she called the city to look
- 3:53Speaker 6: at our It was just this whole like, why didn't
- 3:56Speaker 6: you just come talk to me. We could have handled this,
- 3:58Speaker 6: But she called the city and all of these other things,
- 4:00Speaker 6: and then she went on to start talking she's a
- 4:02Speaker 6: court reporter and started talking garbage about the legal system
- 4:06Speaker 6: and judges, which, considering my dad does that didn't. So
- 4:11Speaker 6: it just kind of and she's just a raging smells
- 4:14Speaker 6: like Berkeley liberal.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Oh boy, this has the opportunity to become a real problem.
- 4:20Speaker 6: Yeah, And so I don't know if I want to
- 4:22Speaker 6: poke the bear and take the chance at the h
- 4:25Speaker 6: a wave somehow spills the beans that I called on her.
- 4:28Speaker 6: But I also want her to stop making my yard
- 4:30Speaker 6: look like there's a squatter in the house.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Right right, right, because that does material damage to your
- 4:37Speaker 4: property values.
- 4:38Speaker 6: Yeah, and I just we just did a lot of
- 4:41Speaker 6: work overhauling this. This particularly happened in the front yard,
- 4:45Speaker 6: but her garbage is starting to grow through the fence
- 4:47Speaker 6: in the back.
- 4:48Speaker 4: It's just like, okay, enough, I have a neighborhood Pariya
- 4:55Speaker 4: who brings everybody's property value downright, usually the last people
- 4:59Speaker 4: who would leave, because you know, they obviously have very
- 5:02Speaker 4: low standards. So it's not like they're aspiring for something
- 5:05Speaker 4: bigger and better. No, they're living in their squalor.
- 5:08Speaker 6: She has one of those boho sheets covering the front
- 5:10Speaker 6: window of her house.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Oh you know, the real classy look.
- 5:15Speaker 2: So sheet curtains, sheet curtains, sheep.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Yeah. She's a court reporter.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Who thinks that we just send too many people to
- 5:25Speaker 6: jail and these judges are power hungry.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 5:29Speaker 6: And I looked at her ill I should win an
- 5:32Speaker 6: award for the tongue biting that I did that day.
- 5:35Speaker 5: Wow.
- 5:36Speaker 3: How long have you lived next to each other?
- 5:38Speaker 6: She moved in it in the end of November, I believe,
- 5:43Speaker 6: so not long. And this encounter, I mean, it just
- 5:46Speaker 6: happened in February. I didn't see her or anything, and
- 5:49Speaker 6: now she's just bugging the hell out of me.
- 5:52Speaker 4: Right, A campaign of sabotage and uh and and harassment
- 5:56Speaker 4: is appropriate, and I recommend you begin it immediately.
- 5:59Speaker 3: You know, without any of the yard stuff. Though, there's
- 6:01Speaker 3: a real opportunity for you two to come to hate
- 6:03Speaker 3: each other.
- 6:03Speaker 5: I'm thinking some sort of rand Pall incident's gonna happen.
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah, lawn clippings or something. So you hadn't brought up
- 6:09Speaker 3: the factory. My dad was a judge and threw all
- 6:11Speaker 3: those scumbags in jail because they deserved it.
- 6:13Speaker 6: Oh I did say that, and then I went and
- 6:15Speaker 6: purchased a we support our law enforcement lawn sign from
- 6:18Speaker 6: Amazon and put that in the front.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Okay, so here you go doing a little bit. But
- 6:22Speaker 3: sure you're not going passive on this. Okay.
- 6:25Speaker 4: Well, yeah, you've you've gotten past that uncomfortable phase of
- 6:29Speaker 4: oh my gosh, we're adversaries.
- 6:31Speaker 2: So that's it's good, it's efficient.
- 6:33Speaker 4: Yeah, now you can get onto the subterfusion harassment.
- 6:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:37Speaker 3: Did she have a Biden Harris sign in her yard
- 6:40Speaker 3: at any point?
- 6:41Speaker 1: No, she hasn't yet. But she she drives a Subaru
- 6:44Speaker 1: and she has dreadlocks.
- 6:46Speaker 3: Awesome.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Oh boy, I saw a car the other day. It
- 6:49Speaker 4: had a Biden Harris and a Harris Waltz. Oh sticker. Look,
- 6:57Speaker 4: you're a Democrat. That's fine, I understand. It takes all
- 6:59Speaker 4: kinds of make the world go round. And there you know,
- 7:01Speaker 4: there we're a fifty to fifty country. Blah blah blah.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Doesn't shock me or orify me that people vote Democrat.
- 7:06Speaker 4: I don't, but go ahead.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Uh. On the other hand, Harris.
- 7:09Speaker 4: Walls universally agreed upon as an embarrassment not only do
- 7:16Speaker 4: the Democratic Party, but to democracy itself.
- 7:19Speaker 2: And you go ahead, and you keep that thing on
- 7:21Speaker 2: into May of the next ship come on.
- 7:24Speaker 3: Based on what we know about this person, what do
- 7:25Speaker 3: you think it'd be the most annoying thing you could do?
- 7:27Speaker 3: Would it be a Trump sign? Would it be a
- 7:30Speaker 3: Blue Lives Matter sign? Would it be a MAHA sign?
- 7:33Speaker 3: I have a feeling she.
- 7:35Speaker 5: Really hates that sort of thing, so we I neglected
- 7:38Speaker 5: the I do also have a forty five to forty
- 7:40Speaker 5: seven flag in front of my house as well, so
- 7:43Speaker 5: we've got the Trump signs pretty annoying.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, something.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Pro gun might really get hto her skin.
- 7:50Speaker 6: I also just put spotlights out in the front yard
- 7:52Speaker 6: that point up at the trees, because I love that look.
- 7:55Speaker 6: I could take them all and just shine them right
- 7:57Speaker 6: on her house because I'm sure the sheet curtain wouldn't
- 8:00Speaker 6: block that out.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 8:03Speaker 3: I think this has potential to become something we get
- 8:05Speaker 3: to talk about a lot though.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Yeah, shared, we share a driveway. I could line it
- 8:08Speaker 1: with spikes.
- 8:09Speaker 3: You share away, awesome.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Let's let's stay on the high road, all right.
- 8:14Speaker 1: I have a dog. I can collect the droppings.
- 8:18Speaker 2: So you you share a driveway? Is she ever smeared?
- 8:21Speaker 2: I don't know. Mashed potatoes on your car and say
- 8:23Speaker 2: you drive in, you drive out.
- 8:27Speaker 3: That's what you do, driveway.
- 8:30Speaker 2: That's why people go their driveways.
- 8:35Speaker 3: That sort of thing is coming with you and her,
- 8:37Speaker 3: which is I'm very excited about.
- 8:39Speaker 6: Well, the good news for that is there is a
- 8:41Speaker 6: ring camera that points at the front of my house,
- 8:42Speaker 6: so it will all be recorded if anything does take place.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Yes, with a nice A and G logo when it goes.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Viral shirt wearing my shirt.
- 8:51Speaker 3: This is a good setup, Katie for future episodes. I'm sure.
- 8:54Speaker 1: I'm good.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Hey, I'm excited. I'm back here, really enjoying this.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Well, I guess that's it.
