Blues Lock In Berggren for One Year | St. Louis Blues News
The St. Louis Blues made a lightning-fast move in free agency, signing Jonatan Berggren to a one-year, $2M deal just minutes after the window opened — a clear signal of GM Alexander Steen’s commitment to building around young talent. Berggren, 25, showed promise last season with 6 goals and 10 assists in 36 games after being released by Detroit. Now, the Blues are giving him a full season to prove he’s more than a flash — they want him to play 84 games and become a cornerstone of their future.
