- 0:18Speaker 1: It is time to leave your warriors outside and laugh
- 0:22Speaker 1: with us inside the treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley along with
- 0:26Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma. Glad to see you alive. Raj,
- 0:35Speaker 1: it appears you have survived Tulsa, so congratulations I did.
- 0:39Speaker 2: It was a love lovely city that I saw none
- 0:43Speaker 2: of because well that's why you can say it's lovely.
- 0:47Speaker 2: We we did not went to a really nice Indian restaurant,
- 0:50Speaker 2: so there's really good Indian food there.
- 0:52Speaker 1: So Tulsa has Indians now well obvious jokes aside, Dan.
- 0:59Speaker 3: There's hotels there, so yes, they have Indians.
- 1:03Speaker 4: Uh.
- 1:07Speaker 1: It's like a very loose interpretation of Field of Dreams
- 1:10Speaker 1: when when they said build it and he will come
- 1:13Speaker 1: for the Indians, it's well, we build a hotel and
- 1:17Speaker 1: then well we're already there.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Yeah, way we built it.
- 1:20Speaker 2: We you know, we have the hotels and you know
- 1:22Speaker 2: there's obviously a hospital there, so there's and the Indians
- 1:25Speaker 2: there too.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Uh.
- 1:27Speaker 2: The only uh, the only problem was the late show
- 1:29Speaker 2: Saturday night is the Tulsa you're thinking about it, and
- 1:32Speaker 2: it's funny because they somebody else brought this up that
- 1:36Speaker 2: they filmed the first forty eight and cops in the
- 1:39Speaker 2: same season simultaneously, because that's how it was.
- 1:43Speaker 5: Uh wow, I'm not when I said there has not been,
- 1:47Speaker 5: to my knowledge a season of the first forty eight
- 1:50Speaker 5: that has not had Tulsa as part of like, because
- 1:53Speaker 5: usually there's like five departments that in a season. Yeah,
- 1:57Speaker 5: Tulsa's been there to my knowledge, every season.
- 1:59Speaker 3: Yeah, same with Dallas and Houston.
- 2:03Speaker 5: Oh no, Dallas was not even Dallas was in there
- 2:05Speaker 5: for like two or three seasons.
- 2:06Speaker 1: Oh yeah, well yeah, the big city politics came into
- 2:10Speaker 1: play there and said we got to knock it off
- 2:11Speaker 1: with your participation in the first forty ages making Dallas
- 2:15Speaker 1: look bad. It's like, well, Dallas does that on its own.
- 2:18Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 2: I like how for Houston, they don't say Houston, they
- 2:21Speaker 2: say Harris County.
- 2:23Speaker 6: That's because it's the Sheriff's department.
- 2:24Speaker 5: It's not the city, it's not the Houston Police, it's
- 2:27Speaker 5: it is Harris County Sheriff.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but uh, there was a group that came in
- 2:32Speaker 2: and uh there was an older lady who the scent
- 2:38Speaker 2: that she was wearing I was would be oh diskunk
- 2:41Speaker 2: weat uh and she h a lot like me, Like
- 2:48Speaker 2: her late sixties, and she she was she was gonna
- 2:52Speaker 2: be a problem, and I knew it, like my spidy
- 2:54Speaker 2: senses started tingling, and so I went to the box
- 2:56Speaker 2: office when when they checked in, and I said, she's
- 3:00Speaker 2: going to be a problem, and she's she My buddy
- 3:04Speaker 2: Shri is the one who's featuring for me. So she
- 3:07Speaker 2: tried to fight him while he was on stage. At
- 3:09Speaker 2: one point she got she got up and started walking.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Luckily they it's salsa, so they have security and her
- 3:19Speaker 2: group of friends. I thought this was entertaining apologize for
- 3:24Speaker 2: her behavior, and then just sent her away. Now when
- 3:27Speaker 2: I say sent her away, they just told her to
- 3:30Speaker 2: go wait by the car. The show is two hours
- 3:36Speaker 2: and she's very high. Do you think she's going to
- 3:40Speaker 2: wait for two hours?
- 3:42Speaker 1: They were hoping she'd wander into traffic.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Well she she she went a wandering because it took
- 3:49Speaker 2: them two hours to find her.
- 3:54Speaker 1: What color of alert was issued raj uh for children
- 4:00Speaker 1: silvers for those of a certain age. Was it a
- 4:03Speaker 1: silver alert?
- 4:05Speaker 3: This was more of a black and wild.
- 4:10Speaker 2: That's the kind of alert that was left for this lady.
- 4:14Speaker 2: So the alert was blunt, yes, they and it's not
- 4:19Speaker 2: a very big the club isn't a strip mall basically,
- 4:23Speaker 2: and it's not a very big strip mall to begin with.
- 4:27Speaker 2: So but it took them two hours to find her.
- 4:30Speaker 2: And she was just sitting like leaned up against another car,
- 4:35Speaker 2: just on the ground, that's why, and and very asleep
- 4:40Speaker 2: and very drunk.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Well I'm glad they found her, yes, and we're glad
- 4:46Speaker 1: that we've got you back inside the tree Use Last
- 4:49Speaker 1: week when you said you were headed to Tulsa right
- 4:51Speaker 1: after the show, Trey and I were legitimately concerned for
- 4:54Speaker 1: your safety because, for those that don't know, Tulsa is
- 4:57Speaker 1: not the safest town in the Midwest.
- 5:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I was not aware. Like it does have h
- 5:04Speaker 2: it does have its reputation.
- 5:06Speaker 1: It certainly does. Does Tulsa have a Starbucks? I don't know, Okay,
- 5:14Speaker 1: I'm going to assume it does, because most medium cities
- 5:18Speaker 1: in the United States and up have a Starbucks. Even
- 5:21Speaker 1: small towns most have have Starbucks. There's a Starbucks in Cleburn, Texas.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Oh no, no, no, no, you want to talk about
- 5:29Speaker 1: your Cleburn.
- 5:32Speaker 5: When I went to East Texas a couple of weeks ago, Like,
- 5:37Speaker 5: there are Starbucks now at rest stops along I twenty. Hmmm,
- 5:43Speaker 5: like in I forgot it was Lyndale. I mean, okay,
- 5:47Speaker 5: small towns, but.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Technically you can find a Starbucks in a po dunk
- 5:52Speaker 1: East Texas town. But it's not because Starbucks said we
- 5:56Speaker 1: need we need a store in Lyndale. It's more of
- 6:00Speaker 1: we need a store every so many miles along the
- 6:03Speaker 1: United State Interstate system.
- 6:07Speaker 2: Well, the one in off West Timer in Houston. There's
- 6:10Speaker 2: a Starbucks directly across the street from a Starbucks.
- 6:16Speaker 1: And I bet they both do killer money.
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah, because there's a median. That big median on West
- 6:21Speaker 3: Timer separates it.
- 6:22Speaker 2: So yeah, there's a Starbucks directly on the street from
- 6:26Speaker 2: the Starbucks.
- 6:26Speaker 1: You know how you feel about not wanting to attend
- 6:29Speaker 1: any sort of a function or public event or party
- 6:33Speaker 1: whatever if you can't find parking within two passes. I
- 6:36Speaker 1: don't like going to places if I have to you
- 6:38Speaker 1: turn around to get them. So if there's a Starbucks
- 6:40Speaker 1: caddy corner from each other, I'm gonna go to the one.
- 6:43Speaker 1: They're all I gotta do is just casually turn right
- 6:45Speaker 1: into The reason I ask about Starbucks and Tulsa is
- 6:48Speaker 1: because not only do we have today to rejoice about
- 6:53Speaker 1: your return from Tulsa. But today, according to Starbucks, today
- 6:58Speaker 1: is the official start of because the pumpkin spice latte
- 7:04Speaker 1: has returned to Starbucks.
- 7:06Speaker 6: Did you break out your rugs?
- 7:09Speaker 1: You know what, if it wasn't going to be around
- 7:12Speaker 1: ninety degrees today, I might be tempted to break out
- 7:14Speaker 1: the ugs and some flannel and some black tights and
- 7:17Speaker 1: dressed like a basic.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Bitch apple bottom jeans.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Of course that's the furry ugs. Also, notice the thugs.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Nobody needs pumpkin spice anything that's the It just smells gross.
- 7:35Speaker 1: I think it's actually delicious, And I've made fun of
- 7:39Speaker 1: it for numerous years in a row about how Starbucks
- 7:43Speaker 1: gets to announce to the world when the start of
- 7:46Speaker 1: fall is despite the fact that August twenty sixth August
- 7:50Speaker 1: anything in Texas is still well, you know, hot, is.
- 7:56Speaker 5: I I understand if you're in a place that has
- 7:59Speaker 5: forced seasons, where the announcement of fall is a really big,
- 8:03Speaker 5: joyous deal. In Texas, why, yeah, it.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Falls barely a week.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Fall is a sprinkling of about ten good days in
- 8:14Speaker 5: between summer and winter.
- 8:16Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a hiccup between deathly hot and ice freaking cold. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and keeping in mind ice freaking cold to us is
- 8:22Speaker 1: in the fifties.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Fall is the reason for like the Macy's sale, Like
- 8:28Speaker 2: that's the only thing that that Dallas gets.
- 8:31Speaker 3: Like, how's the weather, Well, there's a sail at Macy's.
- 8:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it really is. It's like you you
- 8:36Speaker 1: have to you have to. Fall in Texas gets wedged
- 8:40Speaker 1: between heat wave and ice storms.
- 8:45Speaker 6: No, what we should call it spring? Summer, football season, winter.
- 8:54Speaker 1: That's true in Texas. There is no fall. It's just
- 8:57Speaker 1: football season. Amen. Brother, you're in the treehouse.

- 10:12Speaker 8: done before they just build a pergle in the backyard.
- 10:15Speaker 8: So we talk about relocating your sprinklers, we talk about
- 10:18Speaker 8: if you want gas lines running out to the kitchen,

- 11:29Speaker 1: a eight three three cook DFW or that website cookdfw
- 11:34Speaker 1: dot com. Everything that's going to happen in this segment
- 11:38Speaker 1: is all Trey's fault because he sent this to me.
- 11:43Speaker 1: What happened, in general, is the fault of one individual
- 11:48Speaker 1: on a flight. A British Airways flight got interrupted because
- 11:54Speaker 1: a British Airways a British Airways flight attendant was discovered
- 11:58Speaker 1: naked and reportedly booking meth in a laboratory during a
- 12:03Speaker 1: transatlantic flight from San Francisco to London. The incident shocked
- 12:08Speaker 1: passengers and crew, raising fresh concerns over safety and professional
- 12:13Speaker 1: conduct among airline staff. To be fair, professional conduct among
- 12:20Speaker 1: airline staff is not a typical thing I worry about.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I'm more concerned about the conduct of passengers typically, but
- 12:27Speaker 1: this is clearly an exception. The flight attendant, who had
- 12:31Speaker 1: previously appeared in British air in British Airways official safety video,
- 12:36Speaker 1: was removed from duty and arrested upon landing at London Heathrow.
- 12:41Speaker 1: So if you have been on a British Airways flight
- 12:44Speaker 1: recently and you watched the safety instruction video, you saw
- 12:48Speaker 1: this flight attendant in a normal state of dress, but
- 12:53Speaker 1: not on this flight. Just imagine you're on this flight
- 12:57Speaker 1: San Francisco to London and you've watched the safety video
- 13:01Speaker 1: and you thought, oh, my flight attendant on this flight.
- 13:05Speaker 1: It's the person in the video. That's kind of cool.
- 13:08Speaker 1: And then later on they get hauled out of the laboratory,
- 13:11Speaker 1: high on meth and naked.
- 13:14Speaker 3: That's a safety video I'd watch.
- 13:16Speaker 1: Yeah, they always say that pay attention to the flight
- 13:19Speaker 1: attendants during their safety instructions, and by god, if they're
- 13:22Speaker 1: smoking meth and naked while doing it, I'm going to
- 13:24Speaker 1: watch them blow into that little tube on the life
- 13:26Speaker 1: preserver buckle that seat belt. Show me, how.
- 13:32Speaker 3: How did you get the meth passed through TSA.
- 13:37Speaker 5: They typically just kind of they have a different clearance
- 13:41Speaker 5: so they don't.
- 13:43Speaker 3: Go through the.
- 13:45Speaker 1: They're not subjected to the same amount of scrutiny as
- 13:47Speaker 1: we are as normal passengers. Now, as sexy as this
- 13:51Speaker 1: story sounds, you know, flight attendant smoking meth naked in
- 13:56Speaker 1: an airline laboratory. It changed, Okay, British Airways confirmed that
- 14:05Speaker 1: he has been suspended pending a full internal investigation. This
- 14:11Speaker 1: is where our sexism stereotypes come into play to kick
- 14:15Speaker 1: us right in the ass, because we were all thinking
- 14:18Speaker 1: British female flight attendant, right, Yeah, well that's our fault
- 14:24Speaker 1: for assuming it was a dude.
- 14:29Speaker 5: And what's what's even you know, you wonder what his
- 14:33Speaker 5: state of mind was because typically those transatlantic flights that
- 14:37Speaker 5: they have a little crew quarters where you.
- 14:41Speaker 2: Know upstairs in them. Yeah, there's like an upstairs area
- 14:44Speaker 2: where they all sleep.
- 14:45Speaker 6: Yeah, so I guess he just like fight the feeling.
- 14:54Speaker 1: See, I've never been on a transatlantic flight, so I
- 14:56Speaker 1: have no idea. I've only been on you know, just
- 14:58Speaker 1: normal ass planes, and the crew just either hides in
- 15:01Speaker 1: the back or maybe tuck in at the front. So yeah,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I mean, I haven't really thought about that. The flight crew, Yeah,
- 15:08Speaker 1: they got to sleep too. And maybe this guy thought,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I don't no one. Instead of coffee, maybe he thought
- 15:12Speaker 1: he'd start his day with some meth.
- 15:15Speaker 2: I mean, and they're British. Their teeth are already bad
- 15:18Speaker 2: enough as it is. Why are we adding meth to this?
- 15:27Speaker 1: I feel like we're just leaning in on two stereotypes now.
- 15:31Speaker 3: But it.
- 15:33Speaker 2: Is true that it's a lack of vitamin it's a
- 15:35Speaker 2: lack of vitamin D. Because the weather's always it's very cloudy.
- 15:38Speaker 2: They don't get a lot of sun. That's why they're pasty.
- 15:41Speaker 2: And then they get the teeth, and now you're adding
- 15:45Speaker 2: meth mouth to it.
- 15:47Speaker 1: According to passengers and colleagues, the crew member locked himself
- 15:50Speaker 1: in the lavatory mid flight and was found completely unclothed,
- 15:54Speaker 1: reportedly smoking crystal meth. Witnesses described him as incoherent and erratic,
- 15:59Speaker 1: muttering nonsense phrases before he admitted I've been a very
- 16:02Speaker 1: naughty boy. Such behavior not only endangered his health but
- 16:08Speaker 1: also raised serious concerns about crew reliability during during a
- 16:16Speaker 1: critical transatlantic route.
- 16:19Speaker 3: Was that your attempt of being Benny Hill?
- 16:24Speaker 1: Now that's the Star Wars Cantena song that rings on
- 16:27Speaker 1: my cell phone whenever someone calls me, and my phone
- 16:32Speaker 1: automatically pairs to the bluetooth on my mixer sometimes, although
- 16:38Speaker 1: never when I want it to. And is it I
- 16:42Speaker 1: was a happy accident?
- 16:44Speaker 3: Is it a thing?
- 16:45Speaker 2: Because like, okay, so we have the British Airways passenger
- 16:48Speaker 2: of the flight attendant, but then we all also had
- 16:51Speaker 2: like little nas X who was naked and on some
- 16:55Speaker 2: sort of methamphetamine. So is it a thing where you
- 16:59Speaker 2: have to like, is meth one of those things where
- 17:01Speaker 2: you're like, I got to take my clothes off for this?
- 17:05Speaker 5: So the closest thing I can say, like first end
- 17:10Speaker 5: not first end knowledge, but someone telling me this was
- 17:13Speaker 5: someone I know that was hooked on crack, and he said, yes,
- 17:15Speaker 5: there's something about it where you when you start.
- 17:18Speaker 6: Smoking it, you just want to be naked, okay, which.
- 17:22Speaker 1: As we all know, is a different level of naked
- 17:24Speaker 1: when you want to get naked, that's yeah, it's like
- 17:28Speaker 1: naked plus some.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's that's that's a that's extra naked. Yeah. Okay.
- 17:37Speaker 1: Ironically, it's also how I like my wings.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Ironically, that's how I like my little nase x.

- 18:49Speaker 1: Today is Treehouse Talkback Tuesday, and I would like to
- 18:54Speaker 1: point out that everything that is going to transpire from
- 18:56Speaker 1: this point forward is all Robert's fault because of the
- 19:00Speaker 1: message he left last Tuesday.
- 19:07Speaker 10: Hey guys, so I love the show.
- 19:09Speaker 11: Start off with saying that thank you, and I'm a
- 19:12Speaker 11: little bit of a music.
- 19:14Speaker 10: Kind of sewer, I guess you could say.
- 19:15Speaker 11: And whatever a playlist gets done on Apple Music, he'll
- 19:19Speaker 11: sometimes it will just keep.
- 19:20Speaker 10: Playing songs that thinks that you might like.
- 19:24Speaker 11: And for some reason, Apple thought that I would like
- 19:27Speaker 11: a song that's called Paralyzed by the legendary Stardust Cowboy.
- 19:31Speaker 10: I don't know if you guys have ever heard of
- 19:33Speaker 10: it or not, but you should definitely take a listen
- 19:37Speaker 10: to it. I think y'all will get a kick out
- 19:39Speaker 10: of it. All right, thanks you guys.
- 19:46Speaker 1: Once again, everything that's about to happen is Robert's fault
- 19:50Speaker 1: because of that message he left for us. All right,
- 19:53Speaker 1: Trey Raj, have either of you ever heard of the
- 19:57Speaker 1: song Paralyzed by the legendary very Stardust Cowboy.
- 20:03Speaker 3: I can't say I have.
- 20:04Speaker 1: That makes me so happy. I myself have only listened
- 20:09Speaker 1: to twenty five seconds of it because it was so
- 20:13Speaker 1: good I wanted to pause it and enjoy it with
- 20:17Speaker 1: my friends. Right now, take a deep breath, let that out,
- 20:27Speaker 1: because you're gonna need it. Here we go, Paralyzed by
- 20:31Speaker 1: the legendary star Dust Cowboy.
- 20:38Speaker 12: Bag up mysaplay no back out pass out fakes makes
- 21:04Speaker 12: the song lives get out.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's a that's a hell of a
- 21:22Speaker 1: hook in there.
- 21:24Speaker 3: You think the producer knew he was having a stroke, I.
- 21:29Speaker 6: Mean, was paralyzed his condition.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I don't think. I don't think that was
- 21:36Speaker 1: the original name of the song. I just think that's
- 21:38Speaker 1: what happened when they hit record What back then?
- 21:42Speaker 3: What? What? What drug was known as stardust?
- 21:45Speaker 1: I'm not sure. I will say it is legendary uh
- 21:52Speaker 1: from Mercury Records, at least according to the to the
- 21:56Speaker 1: album art on YouTube from Mercury Records paralyzed the legendary
- 22:04Speaker 1: star Dust Cowboy, produced by Jay Henry Burnett. David RR
- 22:08Speaker 1: Anderson had major Bill Smith.
- 22:10Speaker 6: And rash to answer your question, PCP.
- 22:20Speaker 1: How have I never heard this song before?
- 22:23Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think anybody's ever heard this song before.
- 22:28Speaker 2: This is a I mean I kind of understood a
- 22:31Speaker 2: couple of the words, though, I think one places welcome
- 22:34Speaker 2: to the show.
- 22:35Speaker 1: I K I'm glad you heard that because I heard
- 22:37Speaker 1: that too, and I thought, Wow, am I am I
- 22:40Speaker 1: some sort of stroke whisperer.
- 22:44Speaker 3: It's because that's what you want to be.
- 22:48Speaker 1: I'm going to update my LinkedIn profile now what is
- 23:27Speaker 1: it tre You seem to have thoughts on your mind.
- 23:30Speaker 6: If you told me this was a skip from the
- 23:32Speaker 6: Muppet Show.
- 23:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I was about to say animal on the drums.
- 23:37Speaker 1: Animal, Animal from the Muppet Show has more rhythm than
- 23:40Speaker 1: whoever's on these drums.
- 23:42Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure this is an animal from the Muppet Show.
- 23:46Speaker 6: On PCP.

- 24:43Speaker 1: follow today. Speaking of today, I did something that happens
- 24:49Speaker 1: to all of us now that we're all older. I
- 24:54Speaker 1: pulled the muscle in my back. I think what I
- 24:57Speaker 1: actually did was I think I slipped a out of place,
- 25:02Speaker 1: all because, all because I had the audacity to stretch. Yeah,
- 25:10Speaker 1: that's all it took. I'm a forty five year old man,
- 25:13Speaker 1: and I cannot tell you how many pamphlets, how many brochures,
- 25:17Speaker 1: how many AI suggestions, how many doctors and nurses and
- 25:21Speaker 1: PT people have told me you need to stretch more?
- 25:23Speaker 1: So I did. And you know what happened when I stretched?
- 25:28Speaker 1: I pulled a rib out of place.
- 25:30Speaker 3: I'm I don't I figured it was told Tara.
- 25:35Speaker 1: No, I learned that less than long time ago. Trey.
- 25:39Speaker 1: I just stopped and say no to that.
- 25:42Speaker 3: Also, I don't think you can pull.
- 25:45Speaker 1: A rib out of place, all right. Tell that to
- 25:47Speaker 1: every chiropractor and do on the planet. Also tell that
- 25:51Speaker 1: to my spine, my thoracic spine specifically, You don't actually
- 25:55Speaker 1: dislocate a rib. What it is, it gets out of
- 25:59Speaker 1: alignment of its sort of it's slot in your spine
- 26:02Speaker 1: and tray, you're with me on this right, you'll get
- 26:06Speaker 1: like a spasm and it'll kind of move the rib
- 26:08Speaker 1: a little bit, so it makes it hurt to breathe.
- 26:10Speaker 5: I've always thought it moved the cartilage. The cartilage gets
- 26:13Speaker 5: out of places.
- 26:15Speaker 1: That's what I mean.
- 26:16Speaker 6: Yeah, it's the cartilage, but yeah, it's painful as hell.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Yeah it's fun.
- 26:20Speaker 3: You can misalign a rib, but not dislocated.
- 26:25Speaker 1: That's why I didn't say dislocate, I said pull, Oh,
- 26:28Speaker 1: pull a rib. Yeah, okay, I pulled a rib. That's
- 26:31Speaker 1: what I did. I pulled a rib.
- 26:34Speaker 3: I once.
- 26:37Speaker 2: Pulled a muscle in my back three days after my
- 26:40Speaker 2: fortieth birthday by folding laundry.
- 26:45Speaker 1: Yeah, this is old age. If you are a younger millennial,
- 26:50Speaker 1: if you happen to be gen Z and you're still
- 26:52Speaker 1: listening to this show, thank you because we put you
- 26:54Speaker 1: through hell. But we're also going to give you some
- 26:57Speaker 1: excellent life advice. This is what you have to look
- 27:00Speaker 1: forward to, especially if you were in any way active
- 27:05Speaker 1: with your physical body when you were younger. You're gonna
- 27:08Speaker 1: wake up one day you're gonna be like Rash. You're
- 27:10Speaker 1: gonna fold some laundry. You're gonna be like me. You're
- 27:12Speaker 1: gonna take doctor's orders and stretch, and you know what
- 27:17Speaker 1: you're gonna do. You're gonna f up your back. I've
- 27:22Speaker 1: done it with a sneeze or you're gonna sneeze. Wow,
- 27:28Speaker 1: I've done that quite a bit now in defense of
- 27:31Speaker 1: my spine. On that one, I'm a violent sneezer. So
- 27:35Speaker 1: I'm surprised every time. I'm surprised at every time. I sneeze.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I don't throw multiple ribs or spit out a.
- 27:44Speaker 2: Lung to our listeners. A disclaimer, all of these are
- 27:50Speaker 2: medically impossible.
- 27:52Speaker 1: You say that, but one of these days, I'm gonna
- 27:56Speaker 1: be with you. I'm gonna get a little piece of
- 27:57Speaker 1: pollen in my nose. I'm gonna sneeze and a I
- 28:00Speaker 1: was gonna shoot out of my nose onto your plate
- 28:02Speaker 1: rise and that's when I get to go.
- 28:04Speaker 3: Ah and then die and then die.
- 28:08Speaker 1: But I'll die being right.
- 28:12Speaker 3: He sneeze so hardy turned blue.
- 28:16Speaker 1: That's how hard ice sneeze. If you could bottle my sneezes,
- 28:20Speaker 1: you could sell it to the military as ordinance.
- 28:24Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:24Speaker 2: And I wasn't aggressively folding laundry. It's the way I
- 28:27Speaker 2: had folded laundry my whole life. I took There was
- 28:31Speaker 2: a T shirt. I went to go snap the wrinkles
- 28:34Speaker 2: out of it, as I do before I fold it.
- 28:37Speaker 2: And I'm watching that seventies show. Was when I was wanting,
- 28:41Speaker 2: and I remember I snapped the T shirt and I said,
- 28:46Speaker 2: you know what, I think I'm gonna lay down now.
- 28:49Speaker 2: And uh, that's when I discovered tiger bomb.
- 28:54Speaker 1: Three days you went to snap a shirt and you
- 28:57Speaker 1: snapped your spine instead.
- 28:59Speaker 3: I did.
- 28:59Speaker 2: I I felt it and I just immediately. I remember
- 29:04Speaker 2: it was with Claire and she came home from work and.
- 29:09Speaker 1: Just to slow descend onto the onto the couch cushion,
- 29:12Speaker 1: because you can't do it quickly because you know you
- 29:14Speaker 1: did something and you're like, oh no, and you you
- 29:17Speaker 1: look around and go like, okay, what's what's within reaching distance?
- 29:22Speaker 1: How far can I actually reach? Or maybe maybe I'll
- 29:26Speaker 1: just slowly lie down here and see if I die.
- 29:29Speaker 13: Yes.
- 29:30Speaker 2: And hours later Claire came home from work and she said, uh,
- 29:35Speaker 2: what what are you? What are you doing on the couch?
- 29:37Speaker 2: And I said, I live here now, this is where,
- 29:39Speaker 2: this is where I dwell.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Uh, you see what happened and you make me do laundry.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Last time I showed you initiative and she said I
- 29:50Speaker 2: have something and she said, let me get some tiger
- 29:53Speaker 2: bomb for you.
- 29:53Speaker 3: I was like, what is tiger bomb? That is the
- 29:56Speaker 3: most amazing thing in the world.
- 29:57Speaker 1: I assume that's what Miagi put on daniels Son in
- 30:00Speaker 1: the first Karate Kid. Sure, the old Japanese secret.
- 30:08Speaker 2: There's a big secret there. He just starts rubbing his
- 30:15Speaker 2: hands and then puts it on him that starts at
- 30:18Speaker 2: the knee. That's crouching tiger bomb.
- 30:24Speaker 5: The worst is I was in the shower one time
- 30:29Speaker 5: and I dropped something, went to pick it up, just
- 30:32Speaker 5: back locked up to the point where like it takes
- 30:34Speaker 5: your breath away. Yeah, but you can't straighten back up
- 30:39Speaker 5: right away, like you're just kind of stuck there and
- 30:41Speaker 5: you're just you're just trying to find some position that
- 30:45Speaker 5: hurts less.
- 30:47Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 30:49Speaker 5: Now the problem if you're in the shower and you
- 30:51Speaker 5: can't stand up, getting out is really difficult, especially if
- 30:55Speaker 5: it's like a tub shower.
- 30:56Speaker 1: Oh yeah, no, no, yeah, because then you got to
- 30:59Speaker 1: raise your leg it over the edge of the tub and.
- 31:01Speaker 6: Uh h, terrible.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Oh the name of that movie should be prison Nightmares.
- 31:05Speaker 1: Yes, old Yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 14: Because you're in.

- 32:14Speaker 1: Today is Tuesday, August twenty sixth, twenty twenty five. Let's
- 32:20Speaker 1: celebrate today with some birthdays. She's long dead now, but
- 32:25Speaker 1: Mother Teresa today is her birthday. She was born in
- 32:29Speaker 1: nineteen ten. Through her life became known as Saint Teresa
- 32:33Speaker 1: of Calcutta. Well, I guess technically that happens in death,
- 32:37Speaker 1: but in life she was Mother Teresa. In death she
- 32:39Speaker 1: is Saint Teresa of Calcutta. She passed away in nineteen
- 32:44Speaker 1: ninety seven, right before she just missed being able to
- 32:48Speaker 1: see Titanic.
- 32:52Speaker 2: She was the lady that was busy saving people with leprosy.
- 32:57Speaker 2: You're like, oh, you missed that DiCaprio movie.
- 33:00Speaker 1: I would have liked I would have liked to have
- 33:03Speaker 1: known Mother Teresa's take on the ending about whether or
- 33:06Speaker 1: not there was room for Jack on that piece of
- 33:08Speaker 1: wood next to what's her face, kay, Kate wins Well, yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 1: Kate Winsor, but I mean Rose rose.
- 33:15Speaker 2: There, yes, And and the and the sorry that mother
- 33:19Speaker 2: Teresa were was a hospital bed sheet. That's where the
- 33:22Speaker 2: that's the pattern that it came from. And she was
- 33:25Speaker 2: I think from Poland or Turkey, something like that. And
- 33:30Speaker 2: she was in Calcutta and she well on in a
- 33:32Speaker 2: family vacation and she saw the poverty and the things
- 33:36Speaker 2: that the lepers were.
- 33:38Speaker 3: Going through, and she never went back home. So technically
- 33:41Speaker 3: I believe she was an illegal alien.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Her and Superman tell you man just taken jobs what Macedonia?
- 33:51Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yes, that's.
- 33:54Speaker 1: How you know that she was cut from a different cloth.
- 33:56Speaker 1: She went to a second slash third world nation, all
- 34:00Speaker 1: the horrible poverty, stayed to help the rest of us
- 34:03Speaker 1: see that, and we just go back to our all
- 34:05Speaker 1: inclusive resort and go like, ooh, let's not go back out.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll just go back to the SPA.
- 34:11Speaker 1: Other birthdays today, Kekey Palmer turns thirty two. She's the
- 34:15Speaker 1: host and star of Jordan Peele's Noope or the star
- 34:19Speaker 1: of Jordan Peele's Nope. She's also the host of Password.
- 34:22Speaker 1: She was Kim on MTV's Screams a Day on Scream Queens,
- 34:27Speaker 1: and she's also on Nickelodeon's True Jackson VP. So good
- 34:31Speaker 1: for Kekey Palmer. She's thirty two today. Cassie R and B.
- 34:34Speaker 1: Singer is thirty nine. Brian Kelly from Florida, Georgian Line
- 34:37Speaker 1: is the Big Four to O today. Captain James T.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Kirk in the New Star Trek movies. Chris Pine is
- 34:45Speaker 1: forty five. He was also Steve Trevor in The Wonder
- 34:48Speaker 1: Woman movies. His dad, Robert Pine, was Ponton John's boss
- 34:53Speaker 1: on Chips Hollywood Insight. There, this is actually a boss.
- 35:01Speaker 1: What's that?
- 35:02Speaker 3: I said? I didn't even know they had a boss.
- 35:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I can see his face, like I can see
- 35:06Speaker 1: his receding hairline. No, exactly who it is. He was
- 35:10Speaker 1: actually the I think he was the only guy on
- 35:12Speaker 1: the show with a receding hairline. It's like when they
- 35:14Speaker 1: came time for casting, he's like, Okay, clearly he's the
- 35:17Speaker 1: sergeant or lieutenant whatever, the captain of those guys, because
- 35:20Speaker 1: all the rest of them had luscious locks of hair.
- 35:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 2: And I also loved how at the end of every
- 35:25Speaker 2: episode they had time to go to the disco. Yeah,
- 35:30Speaker 2: because you know, after a hard day of not using
- 35:34Speaker 2: that and they never pulled out their guns.
- 35:35Speaker 3: That was the thing on the show. After a hard day,
- 35:41Speaker 3: you gotta dance with some hoes.
- 35:42Speaker 12: Uh.
- 35:43Speaker 3: And that's that's what they That's what they did.
- 35:46Speaker 6: Work life Balance, that's what they had.
- 35:50Speaker 1: That's an important takeaway out of the TV show Chips
- 35:53Speaker 1: work life Balance. Yeah, save people by day, get with
- 36:01Speaker 1: those my title, how that goes other birthdays today? This
- 36:06Speaker 1: is a big one. McCauley Culkin turns forty five today.
- 36:09Speaker 1: McCaulay Culkin turns forty five, making us all feel just
- 36:11Speaker 1: a little bit older, be included because I'm like six
- 36:17Speaker 1: months older than McCauley culkin. And to that end, I
- 36:24Speaker 1: saw the other day McCaulay culkin is doing and I
- 36:27Speaker 1: guess he's done this before. There's a home alone tour
- 36:31Speaker 1: that happens around the holidays. I don't know how many
- 36:33Speaker 1: times they've done this, but mcaulay culkin posted on social
- 36:36Speaker 1: media the other day that they are selling tickets for
- 36:39Speaker 1: the home alone traveling show Q and a series thing
- 36:43Speaker 1: that they do around the holidays. I know based on
- 36:45Speaker 1: his post they've done it at least once before. They're
- 36:49Speaker 1: doing it again this year. And not to be left out,
- 36:52Speaker 1: I know that Christmas Vacation will do something similar in
- 36:56Speaker 1: recent years, in which case some of the members of
- 36:58Speaker 1: the cast Chevy Chase will go to different theaters around
- 37:02Speaker 1: the country for special events for screenings and Q and
- 37:04Speaker 1: a's after the film kind of thing. So I know
- 37:07Speaker 1: that Home Alone, I know, is going to Austin. I
- 37:10Speaker 1: don't know if the Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin is
- 37:12Speaker 1: going to the Dallas area or not. Probably so, but
- 37:15Speaker 1: I don't remember off the top of my head. So
- 37:17Speaker 1: if you're looking for something to do around the holidays,
- 37:19Speaker 1: the Home Alone slash Christmas Vacation tour with its stars
- 37:23Speaker 1: is making the rounds HM so happy.
- 37:27Speaker 5: And I don't know if you'll see saw the thing
- 37:28Speaker 5: I sent you all about. Yeah, we were talking about
- 37:30Speaker 5: it last week. Airplane there's a whole screening and Q
- 37:34Speaker 5: and A of Airplane with one of the Zuckers and uh.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Robert, what's what we can get them on?
- 37:44Speaker 2: Right?
- 37:44Speaker 3: I'm just saying, what's the Q and A like? What like?
- 37:47Speaker 3: What's like? What? What questions would you have?
- 37:50Speaker 1: You remember the character Chris Farley did on the interview
- 37:52Speaker 1: show when he'd have on really big people, you know,
- 37:54Speaker 1: it was like like like, remember remember when you did
- 38:00Speaker 1: the movie? That was great? That's what I imagine those
- 38:02Speaker 1: Q and as are.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Like, Yeah, what I would ask is what ideas got cut?
- 38:10Speaker 13: Ooh?
- 38:11Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 38:13Speaker 1: Is there a director's cut of Airplane?
- 38:15Speaker 6: Yeah? What jokes were went too far?
- 38:18Speaker 2: Well, that's what this is supposed to be for the
- 38:20Speaker 2: Airplane one? Is the unreleased director's cut?
- 38:24Speaker 10: Oh?
- 38:24Speaker 1: I hope so yeah.
- 38:26Speaker 3: I think that's what it says, the unreleased director's cuts.
- 38:30Speaker 1: My follow up to Tray's question that that Q and
- 38:32Speaker 1: A would be can can you please do a new one?
- 38:36Speaker 1: All with updated jokes and stuff?
- 38:41Speaker 3: Still?
- 38:41Speaker 2: I mean all time classic of the two, you know,
- 38:44Speaker 2: the two black dudes speaking giant and then Miss Cleaver.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Going toe to toe with him. I love that movie.
- 38:56Speaker 1: Oh real quick? Are the birthdays today? Luke Cage from
- 39:02Speaker 1: the Marvel TV Show. Mike Colter is forty nine, Melissa
- 39:05Speaker 1: McCarthy is fifty five. You guys like to give me
- 39:08Speaker 1: a hard time for saying that that I love terrible movies,
- 39:11Speaker 1: and that's true. Sometimes I do. There are times though,
- 39:14Speaker 1: where I will say, like, okay, that movie is just
- 39:17Speaker 1: really hot garbage. Melissa McCarthy started a movie. It was
- 39:21Speaker 1: a Christmas movie from last year the year before. She
- 39:26Speaker 1: played like a genie that came out of a bottle.
- 39:28Speaker 1: But it was for Christmas or something. I didn't finish it,
- 39:35Speaker 1: but I watched part of it. I'm just letting you
- 39:37Speaker 1: know that I do have some credibility. I will I
- 39:40Speaker 1: will punch out of some stuff.
- 39:42Speaker 6: I don't get her like I just I do not
- 39:45Speaker 6: find her funny.
- 39:48Speaker 1: I do believe she is one of those types that
- 39:51Speaker 1: it's a lover hate thing.
- 39:54Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:55Speaker 2: I think she's a talented lady. I never watched the
- 39:59Speaker 2: TV show that they had, but then they both ended
- 40:03Speaker 2: up losing a substantial amount of weight the sitcom that
- 40:07Speaker 2: she was on, and then yeah, oh yes, there you go.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Yeah uh and he's like super uh Billy Gardell. I
- 40:15Speaker 2: think this is his name.
- 40:16Speaker 1: It sounds right.
- 40:17Speaker 2: Yeah, but they both ended up losing a substantial amount
- 40:21Speaker 2: of weight. I find her to be She was great
- 40:23Speaker 2: in a The Heat with Sandra Bullock. I thought she
- 40:26Speaker 2: was really good enough.
- 40:27Speaker 1: I don't think I saw that when she was she
- 40:29Speaker 1: was great and Bridesmaids.
- 40:30Speaker 5: Okay, yes, as far as an ensemble cast goes or
- 40:34Speaker 5: something like that. Yeah, okay, but as a lead, I
- 40:36Speaker 5: just oh yeah. And I feel the same way about
- 40:39Speaker 5: Steve Carrell. Like in an ensemble okay, but as a
- 40:45Speaker 5: lead generally he's done one like kind of serious movie
- 40:48Speaker 5: that I really like, but as comedy goes yeah interesting, okay.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Yeah. I always forget her name, but similar to Melissa McCarthy.
- 40:57Speaker 1: It's a uh at one point, heavyset, blonde comedic actress
- 41:03Speaker 1: from Australia. I believe she was in the Huh Rebel Wilson, Yes,
- 41:10Speaker 1: Rebel Wilson.
- 41:11Speaker 12: Uh.
- 41:12Speaker 1: She to me is similar to Melissa McCarthy. It's like
- 41:15Speaker 1: you either lover or hater, kind of like styl.
- 41:17Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm gonna go with hater.
- 41:19Speaker 14: See, she's just awful, all right there.

- 42:17Speaker 1: for the Treehouse Talkback Tuesday, and because of his very
- 42:22Speaker 1: derailing message which led us to the derailing song he
- 42:25Speaker 1: told us about, I didn't get a chance to even
- 42:27Speaker 1: listen to the other messages this week, so I'll try
- 42:30Speaker 1: to include those next week for a Treehouse talkback. That
- 42:34Speaker 1: all being said, we didn't even get to half of
- 42:38Speaker 1: the song that Robert wanted us to hear. The song
- 42:40Speaker 1: is paralyzed by the legendary star Dust Cowboy, and I
- 42:47Speaker 1: would like to hear more of it.
- 42:50Speaker 13: So there we go, got.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Raj, Did you hear black Cadillac in there?
- 43:07Speaker 3: No, I heard somebody that's in need of medical attention.
- 43:11Speaker 3: That's what. That's what I've heard.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Somebody that is clearly having some sort of traumatic brain injury.
- 43:19Speaker 6: Yeah, I did hear that.
- 43:22Speaker 1: Dan, Thank you, thank you? Okay, all right, turns out
- 43:25Speaker 1: you and I speak PBI Trey. I feel like that's
- 43:38Speaker 1: where the Duke Boys got their yell.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I think this is when the announcement comes, like don't
- 43:44Speaker 2: eat the brown acid.
- 43:46Speaker 3: I think that's.
- 43:46Speaker 2: When something happened in that recording session where they were like,
- 43:52Speaker 2: you know what, we're going to smoke this real quick.
- 43:54Speaker 8: Uh.
- 43:55Speaker 2: And then well we're going to hit this hard, and
- 43:58Speaker 2: they smoked something that they shouldn't have uh and and
- 44:02Speaker 2: and you got you got this take And I don't
- 44:04Speaker 2: know why. The producers were like, you know what, this
- 44:06Speaker 2: is a this is the one we sell. I'm gonna
- 44:10Speaker 2: put this on wax. That's what we gotta do.
- 44:14Speaker 1: I can't wait to hear what this sounds after you
- 44:16Speaker 1: put a needle on it. The kids are gonna love it,
- 44:21Speaker 1: because I'm pretty sure they put needles in when they
- 44:23Speaker 1: were recording it.
- 44:26Speaker 3: Well, they definitely needed some sort of ivy.
- 44:44Speaker 12: Guess I say something's runa get out.
- 45:13Speaker 3: Do you remember the guy from the Green Mile with
- 45:15Speaker 3: the mouse?
- 45:17Speaker 14: Mm hmm.
- 45:17Speaker 2: That's who sounds like he's singing because I didn't understand
- 45:24Speaker 2: him either.
- 45:28Speaker 1: You remember boom Hower from King of the Hill. This
- 45:31Speaker 1: sounds like boom Hoower in a punk.
- 45:32Speaker 2: Band, boom Hoower on metho.
- 45:48Speaker 1: I'm gonna make this my new theme music.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Oh no, please, don't. They can't be friends anymore?
- 45:58Speaker 1: Can I go back in time to win? My base
- 46:00Speaker 1: was cool? To make this my profile music.
- 46:04Speaker 3: Yes, and please destroy the flux capacitor and stay there.
