I left the only church I had ever known after 22 years.

Not because I hate the church.

Not because I’m trying to destroy anyone.

And not because I lost my faith.

I left because the mission God placed on my life can no longer be softened, separated, or silenced.

The modern church has ministries for pornography, alcohol, broken marriages, finances, and parenting—and it should.

But where is the ministry confronting obesity, food addiction, physical weakness, and the undisciplined lifestyles slowly destroying God’s people?

We talk about stewarding our money while refusing to talk about stewarding…
