- 0:08Speaker 1: I saw this on the news.
- 0:09Speaker 2: There was a coyote sighting at a golf course in
- 0:12Speaker 2: wap it In And the picture, I'm not gonna lie,
- 0:15Speaker 2: the coyote looked like it was a model.
- 0:17Speaker 1: Like that picture was so dope.
- 0:19Speaker 2: But that's scary to me. Are coyotes like do they attack?
- 0:23Speaker 2: Like what do they do besides like eat dogs or something?
- 0:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean if you have a dog and you're
- 0:28Speaker 3: letting it out at night to go to the bathroom,
- 0:30Speaker 3: we might want to kind of stick around there and
- 0:32Speaker 3: keep an eye. And I think, for the most part, though,
- 0:33Speaker 3: a coyote will leave you alone. I claim to be
- 0:36Speaker 3: you know, crocodile Dundee Gabe over here. For the most part,
- 0:40Speaker 3: I think they they'll leave you alone. But that can't
- 0:42Speaker 3: It can spook you. I've been on a walk with
- 0:45Speaker 3: Winona before my dog, and we've like seen deer that
- 0:48Speaker 3: were a lot closer than I realized and kind of
- 0:51Speaker 3: got spooked by him or whatever. So we wanted to
- 0:54Speaker 3: know this morning, have you ever had an encounter with
- 0:56Speaker 3: a wild animal that potentially could have gone wrong? Seven
- 1:00Speaker 3: oh one two eight zero one nine eight seven. We
- 1:03Speaker 3: do have justin out of Fargo on the phone, justin
- 1:05Speaker 3: what happened to you?
- 1:06Speaker 4: Well, back when I was growing up, I lived out
- 1:09Speaker 4: down in another community, this small town, Minnesota, and I'm
- 1:15Speaker 4: riding my bike when I'm about probably maybe seventh grade,
- 1:19Speaker 4: so not very old. All of a sudden, this big
- 1:23Speaker 4: old moose comes up out of the ditch and it
- 1:26Speaker 4: was within ten yards of me.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Oh my god, Angie, and we were looking at each other.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Both of our jaws just kind of dropped in What
- 1:34Speaker 3: on earth did you do?
- 1:36Speaker 5: It just was.
- 1:37Speaker 4: Walking across the road and then crossed the bike path
- 1:40Speaker 4: that I was in front of and just kept going.
- 1:43Speaker 4: And I stood absolutely still because I knew that moose
- 1:48Speaker 4: charge if aggravated, and I did not want to be charged.
- 1:52Speaker 4: And I'm like in seventh grade, sixth grade, I don't know.
- 1:57Speaker 6: I was.
- 1:57Speaker 4: I was young and scared, and I didn't want anything
- 2:02Speaker 4: to do with it.
- 2:02Speaker 7: Justin the real question here is did you need new underwear? After?
- 2:06Speaker 3: No, you did better than I would have. Today's variety
- 2:14Speaker 3: Big ninety eight point seven, It's Gabe and Angie, Sunshine
- 2:17Speaker 3: and fifty three today DJ Did you ever have an
- 2:21Speaker 3: encounter with a wild animal?
- 2:24Speaker 6: Okay, So I grew up in central Minnesota, if you
- 2:27Speaker 6: couldn't tell an accent and oh yeah, so we actually
- 2:33Speaker 6: got out of school or we had like a lockdown
- 2:36Speaker 6: because this happened twice my dad because there was a
- 2:39Speaker 6: bear on our sports fields right outside the school.
- 2:43Speaker 7: Oh bear, I'm probably calling in sick.
- 2:46Speaker 6: Yeah there, yeah, and we're I mean I was. I
- 2:48Speaker 6: was in high school, and so I remember like our
- 2:51Speaker 6: our marching band teacher was like joking about, oh, you know,
- 2:54Speaker 6: you're gonna have to learn on Halloween is a trigger
- 2:57Speaker 6: treat or bear?
- 2:58Speaker 5: You know?
- 2:58Speaker 6: But yeah, so there were was a bear. It was
- 3:00Speaker 6: a bear on like the baseball field, and it ran
- 3:04Speaker 6: around for like two days, like it came back and
- 3:07Speaker 6: we were all everybody was obviously all freaked out. They
- 3:10Speaker 6: also trying to find the bear.
- 3:11Speaker 3: Yeah, if there's a bear at school, I'm sick that day.
- 3:16Speaker 3: I will say, this does give you the great excuse
- 3:20Speaker 3: for maybe the one and only time in your life
- 3:23Speaker 3: to use the bear ate my homework.
- 3:27Speaker 8: Stop celebrating life's little victories. Every morning we practice gratitude
- 3:36Speaker 8: on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 3:38Speaker 4: If I could, I would keep this feeling in a
- 3:40Speaker 4: basket job busted out when it was someone's acting hard.
- 3:44Speaker 8: Share your little victories with us at seven oh one
- 3:47Speaker 8: two eight h one ninety eight seven.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Kids, I also.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Needed to win that day.
- 3:53Speaker 7: That's right.
- 3:53Speaker 3: If you ever have a little victory, go ahead and
- 3:55Speaker 3: send us one at seven oh one two eight zero
- 3:58Speaker 3: one nine eight seven. Big shout out to Angela Today.
- 4:02Speaker 3: She said at her house it's officially crock pot season
- 4:05Speaker 3: and she has some Thursday soup ready to go tonight
- 4:08Speaker 3: in the crockpot. Or that's our plan anyway. Sometimes a
- 4:11Speaker 3: crockpot soup is a major victory. I don't know if
- 4:13Speaker 3: that's really a little victory that.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Is for you. I know you're a souper king, that's right.
- 4:18Speaker 2: My little victory is that my boyfriend Mikey has become
- 4:22Speaker 2: a bit of a baker. So he made sugar cookies
- 4:26Speaker 2: last night, just on a whim.
- 4:27Speaker 1: He didn't tell me.
- 4:27Speaker 2: He just got into the kitchen and started pulling out
- 4:30Speaker 2: flour and sugar and me and the kids are like,
- 4:32Speaker 2: what are you doing? I'm making sugar cookies. He's got
- 4:36Speaker 2: a huge sweet tooth. And I made him watch The
- 4:39Speaker 2: Great British Baking Show this season. He'd never watched it,
- 4:43Speaker 2: and now he's got the bug. I don't know that
- 4:45Speaker 2: he'll be applying for any kind of baking.
- 4:47Speaker 7: Do you think we're gonna see him on Netflix? Yeah?
- 4:49Speaker 1: No, never.
- 4:50Speaker 2: However, the sugar cookies did turn out really good, so
- 4:54Speaker 2: I'm a fan.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I had three of them last night.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I probably shouldn't have, but that's quite the little victory
- 5:00Speaker 2: in our home.
- 5:00Speaker 1: What about you, Gabe, that's awesome.
- 5:02Speaker 3: My little victory I have, well, really just kind of one,
- 5:06Speaker 3: and it goes from the show yesterday. At about eight
- 5:10Speaker 3: forty yesterday, we had we had this kind of bit
- 5:13Speaker 3: where we had a coworker who told Angie about this
- 5:17Speaker 3: guy on TikTok who was me my personality times, you know,
- 5:22Speaker 3: times like three or four, right, is.
- 5:24Speaker 1: Your personality doppelganger? I would say.
- 5:26Speaker 3: And what made me laugh so hard was, you know,
- 5:29Speaker 3: I wasn't sure if Angie was setting this up and
- 5:31Speaker 3: it was gonna be like they were gonna make fun
- 5:33Speaker 3: of me, or if it was gonna be very sweet
- 5:35Speaker 3: or whatever, and it was obviously very funny. Not three
- 5:39Speaker 3: to two hours later, my buddy Jake, one of my
- 5:42Speaker 3: best friends in the world, you know, he sent me
- 5:44Speaker 3: a reel of that exact same guy talking about the
- 5:50Speaker 3: exact same soup clip stuff that we had used on
- 5:54Speaker 3: the show. So it was so funny to you know,
- 5:56Speaker 3: people in the building and just my friends.
- 5:59Speaker 7: I am the soup guy. I found that pretty hilarious.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Okay, I feel like you need to connect with this guy.
- 6:04Speaker 1: His name is Josh j Awsh.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I feel like you need to slide into the DMS
- 6:10Speaker 2: and I don't know, have a soup connection.
- 6:13Speaker 7: That would be so fun. That's what I kind of want.
- 6:15Speaker 3: If there is someone who owns a restaurant or a
- 6:21Speaker 3: diner or something and you serve soup. It could we
- 6:25Speaker 3: do a little collab? I am asking on the air
- 6:28Speaker 3: right now. Can we do a little Can we team
- 6:30Speaker 3: up here for something? I think that would be so
- 6:33Speaker 3: fun and just so silly. So if you wanted to
- 6:35Speaker 3: jump on board with that, let me know. I have
- 6:37Speaker 3: message and message us here at seven oh one two
- 6:39Speaker 3: eight zero one nine eight seven.
- 6:41Speaker 7: I think that would be fabulous coming.
- 6:43Speaker 1: It is a perfect embassador.
- 6:47Speaker 7: And if you miss this.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Jeff Goldbloom has revealed a certain movie role made him
- 6:54Speaker 3: stop eating meats. He actually added that it changed him
- 6:57Speaker 3: a little bit and Angie, this movie is from Wicked.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Yeah, he plays the wizard in wicked.
- 7:03Speaker 7: Yeah, here's what he had to say.
- 7:04Speaker 9: After doing this movie, we talked about the animal cruelty.
- 7:07Speaker 9: I stopped eating meat and poultry. So this Christmas to Thanksgiving,
- 7:12Speaker 9: I may be having another something else, right, Yeah, but
- 7:18Speaker 9: I'm happy. We need the world to work for everybody
- 7:22Speaker 9: on earth and every creature too.
- 7:24Speaker 3: So, Angie, you are someone who you are a vegan? Right,
- 7:28Speaker 3: No eggs, no nothing, No.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Eggs, no dairy. I'm so boring.
- 7:34Speaker 2: No yeah, no meat, no, yeah, I don't anything that's
- 7:39Speaker 2: an animal product.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I do not so how and you know, I know
- 7:43Speaker 3: the answer from talking to you, but maybe someone listening.
- 7:46Speaker 3: What is really the big difference and main difference between
- 7:48Speaker 3: someone who's like vegan and someone who's like vegetarian vegetaria
- 7:54Speaker 3: if you don't eat meat, let us know kind of
- 7:56Speaker 3: what stopped that? Seven oh one two eight zero one
- 7:59Speaker 3: to nine eight seven. And we just happened to have
- 8:01Speaker 3: a vegan on the show. So yeah, go to sea.
- 8:03Speaker 2: I know that this is kind of a strange place
- 8:05Speaker 2: for a vegan to live, but here we are. So
- 8:09Speaker 2: the difference between vegan and vegetarian is vegans don't do
- 8:12Speaker 2: dairy or eggs either, but vegetarians do, so they just
- 8:16Speaker 2: don't eat meat. And let me first say, I'm not
- 8:20Speaker 2: judging anybody who eats meat or dairy, Like you eat
- 8:23Speaker 2: meat in front of.
- 8:24Speaker 1: Me and I literally don't.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Yeah, Like, for me, it was just a personal choice
- 8:29Speaker 2: that I made, and I wasn't vegan my entire life,
- 8:32Speaker 2: so who am I to anything?
- 8:33Speaker 1: You know what I mean? My kids aren't vegan.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Like, if you want to, you know, eliminate meat or
- 8:39Speaker 2: dairy whatever from your diet, like, that's on you, that's
- 8:41Speaker 2: your personal thing.
- 8:42Speaker 1: For me, it was.
- 8:43Speaker 2: That I watched one too many documentaries on how the
- 8:49Speaker 2: beef is made essentially, and I just I can't, Like
- 8:53Speaker 2: now it's in my head, so you know, the cognitive
- 8:55Speaker 2: dissonance where you can separate how it's made when you're
- 8:59Speaker 2: eating it.
- 8:59Speaker 1: I just don't have that anymore.
- 9:01Speaker 2: So even if I wanted to, like I think, it
- 9:04Speaker 2: pops up in my head and I'm like, oh.
- 9:05Speaker 1: I can't do it. I can't do it. So that's
- 9:08Speaker 1: what made me stop.
- 9:09Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I am not even anywhere close to that.
- 9:12Speaker 3: And you will sit and watch me house soup with
- 9:15Speaker 3: various beef or chicken on quite literally a daily basis. Yeah,
- 9:20Speaker 3: we do have Pamela though, Pamela, what did it for you?
- 9:22Speaker 3: What made you stop eating me?
- 9:24Speaker 10: I was run over and I watched the documentary, you know,
- 9:27Speaker 10: the one. Everyone who stopped eating meat has seen this documentary,
- 9:30Speaker 10: and I went into full panic cleans mode for two weeks.
- 9:33Speaker 10: An almonds almost took me out. I balanced now and
- 9:36Speaker 10: I still eat meat sometimes, but you know, respectfully, humbly,
- 9:40Speaker 10: without ego.
- 9:42Speaker 7: There you go.
- 9:43Speaker 3: It sounds like she'll still dabble on in the meat department. Yeah,
- 9:46Speaker 3: at you know, Walmart or whatever Costco. But it's not
- 9:50Speaker 3: something on a regular basis.
- 9:52Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 9:52Speaker 3: So what what was it for eggs for you? Because that, oh,
- 9:56Speaker 3: you know, it's funny different than.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I never liked it.
- 10:00Speaker 2: Oh, I just never liked eggs. So that was really
- 10:03Speaker 2: easy to cut out. And I was like, oh yeah,
- 10:04Speaker 2: bye eggs.
- 10:06Speaker 7: Bradley is also on the phone, Bradley, what did it
- 10:08Speaker 7: for you?
- 10:08Speaker 10: Man?
- 10:09Speaker 5: I visited a farm and that was really something just
- 10:12Speaker 5: seeing all the animals up close and personal. It's pretty
- 10:14Speaker 5: eye opening. The animals are just so peaceful and friendly,
- 10:17Speaker 5: and I was just so moved by the experience that
- 10:19Speaker 5: I didn't want to eat meat after that.
- 10:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I bet there are a lot of people that
- 10:23Speaker 3: are like that, Yeah it happened.
- 10:26Speaker 7: Yeah, it definitely happens to some people.
- 10:27Speaker 3: That's kind of one of the reasons why, you know,
- 10:30Speaker 3: for me growing up, I grew up pheasant hunting and
- 10:32Speaker 3: duck hunting all the time, and it took, you know,
- 10:35Speaker 3: like two birds basically where I was like, I don't
- 10:39Speaker 3: want to do this anymore, Like I feel way too
- 10:41Speaker 3: bad now. Once again, respect by the way, to all
- 10:44Speaker 3: of the deer hunters today, no one is judging anybody
- 10:47Speaker 3: here on the Big ninety eight point seven morning show.
- 10:49Speaker 1: No, you do you. It's just whatever makes you comfortable.
- 10:53Speaker 3: That's what I'm gonna house me a Pnison burger probably
- 10:57Speaker 3: later today, all right.
- 10:59Speaker 6: Got me.
- 11:02Speaker 7: Doctor. Being in the news, I gotta.
- 11:07Speaker 3: I don't know if this is just a Midwest thing, Angie,
- 11:10Speaker 3: and you're gonna learn this, uh, I guess throughout your
- 11:13Speaker 3: life here in Fargo or the FM area, every time
- 11:17Speaker 3: we get to November December, basically January through the rest
- 11:23Speaker 3: of November, the entire year, it's known as cold and
- 11:26Speaker 3: flu season. Yeah, notice that anytime you're like, oh, I'm
- 11:30Speaker 3: feeling a little under the weather, I'm feeling sick, someone
- 11:34Speaker 3: is guaranteed in your day to say, yeah, that's been
- 11:37Speaker 3: going around.
- 11:38Speaker 1: That's been going around. Then it's just it's that time
- 11:42Speaker 1: of year. It's that time yeah.
- 11:43Speaker 3: Year, definitely those I have heard those two things growing
- 11:46Speaker 3: up in Minnesota my entire life, so being that it
- 11:51Speaker 3: really is gold and flu season this time of the year.
- 11:53Speaker 3: We have found some things here on the Big ninety
- 11:55Speaker 3: eight point seven Morning Show that you can use to
- 11:58Speaker 3: kind of just boost your immune systm them a little bit. Now,
- 12:01Speaker 3: are you going to be able to do all of these?
- 12:03Speaker 3: Maybe not, but maybe you could take a couple and
- 12:05Speaker 3: they can just help you. For example, this is a
- 12:08Speaker 3: great one, all right, Eat the rainbow.
- 12:10Speaker 7: Have you ever heard that?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yes?
- 12:12Speaker 3: Yeah, what you want to do is just eat as
- 12:14Speaker 3: many colored things as you can green, blue, red, Do
- 12:19Speaker 3: you know? You just want to eat all of the
- 12:21Speaker 3: colors of the rainbow and it'll help boost your immune system.
- 12:24Speaker 3: That obviously means a variety of fruits and vegetables, yeah,
- 12:27Speaker 3: to go along with everything else here. Take it easy
- 12:30Speaker 3: and get some sleep. Your immune system is far more
- 12:34Speaker 3: likely to struggle if you are worn out and stressed.
- 12:37Speaker 3: This is one every single person listening to the Big
- 12:40Speaker 3: ninety eight point seven morning show. Can do is get
- 12:43Speaker 3: on a better sleep schedule. This is so real.
- 12:46Speaker 2: In fact, last night I went because obviously, if you've
- 12:48Speaker 2: heard my voice this last week, it's not your.
- 12:51Speaker 1: Typical and cheap voice.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I've been a little bit under the weather, and last
- 12:57Speaker 2: night I went to bed at five pm, Gabe, and
- 12:59Speaker 2: I know that I made this big old stink about
- 13:01Speaker 2: how I missed the Aurora borealis. Yeah, like the northern lights,
- 13:05Speaker 2: and I was like, I'm gonna stay up for No.
- 13:07Speaker 2: I could not stay up to try to see them
- 13:09Speaker 2: last night because I needed that sleep.
- 13:11Speaker 1: And I feel way better today than I did the
- 13:14Speaker 1: last few days.
- 13:15Speaker 7: That's right. Sorry, use that.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Going into kind of these cold winter months here, obviously
- 13:20Speaker 3: you can get some exercise. Oh no, you could consider,
- 13:24Speaker 3: you know, taking vitamins. But here's another one that you
- 13:27Speaker 3: might not think about, but it is socializing.
- 13:32Speaker 7: The bonding.
- 13:33Speaker 3: There's a bonding hormone essentially that can lower stress levels,
- 13:36Speaker 3: reduce inflammation, and boost immune function. Why mate up with
- 13:42Speaker 3: your besties for some coffee once in a while, you know,
- 13:45Speaker 3: go out to dinner with the hubby or something. Do
- 13:48Speaker 3: something fun, my gosh, boost your immune system.
- 13:52Speaker 7: How sweet is that?
- 13:53Speaker 3: Listen to the Big ninety eight point seven Morning Show
- 13:56Speaker 3: and talk back to your radio.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, call us seven out on two eight on one,
- 14:01Speaker 1: nine eight seven. We're here for your health.
- 14:03Speaker 7: That's right.
- 14:03Speaker 3: Boost that socialization with the Big ninety eight point seven
- 14:07Speaker 3: Morning Show.
- 14:08Speaker 7: I think we're gonna write a new liner later today.
- 14:10Speaker 4: Are in.
- 14:13Speaker 7: The world of rules in gray areas? One morning show
- 14:15Speaker 7: dares to ask the hard questions.
- 14:17Speaker 5: We both know you're guilty.
- 14:19Speaker 1: He's guilty.
- 14:20Speaker 7: Is it legal?
- 14:21Speaker 5: You're guilty of the worst crime of all?
- 14:24Speaker 8: On Big ninety eight point seven.
- 14:29Speaker 1: In terms of snow blowing, because winter's coming, very gave
- 14:34Speaker 1: a throne right here.
- 14:35Speaker 2: Ok, And if I'm gonna snow blow my yard or
- 14:40Speaker 2: my driver or whatever, is it legal to snow blow
- 14:45Speaker 2: into the street?
- 14:46Speaker 7: All right? Here's a quick reminder for you.
- 14:49Speaker 3: It is definitely illegal to blow snow from your driveway
- 14:53Speaker 3: into the street.
- 14:55Speaker 7: All right.
- 14:56Speaker 3: That beautiful white powder we love to use for snowball,
- 14:59Speaker 3: skiing and s well, it's not meant to be shared
- 15:02Speaker 3: with the boulevard or traffic.
- 15:03Speaker 7: All right.
- 15:04Speaker 3: The city says it's all about keeping roads clear and safe.
- 15:08Speaker 3: But let's be honest, we all know what really happens.
- 15:10Speaker 3: You spend two hours clearing your driveway, you blow that
- 15:13Speaker 3: last little bit into the street, and then five minutes
- 15:15Speaker 3: later a snowplow swings by, and it's like, oh, I
- 15:18Speaker 3: will return that to where it once belonged.
- 15:21Speaker 7: Boom, your driveway is a wall again.
- 15:23Speaker 3: Keep the snow in your yard, you know, throw it
- 15:25Speaker 3: to the left, throw it to the right, whether you're
- 15:27Speaker 3: snow blowing or shoveling. And you could potentially get a
- 15:32Speaker 3: five hundred up to a five hundred dollars fine for
- 15:35Speaker 3: throwing snow from your driveway into the street, whether you are,
- 15:39Speaker 3: whether you are shoveling or snow blowing. All right, Okay,
- 15:43Speaker 3: at this point, Angie, I don't even know if I'm
- 15:45Speaker 3: giving you like snow laws or snow rules.
- 15:48Speaker 7: I'm just trying to help you with some winter survival tips.
- 15:50Speaker 1: That's what I need.
- 16:00Speaker 3: Chez. All right, You've got there's only one way to
- 16:04Speaker 3: continue on with your life, and that is by giving
- 16:07Speaker 3: up one of these two things for three hundred and
- 16:09Speaker 3: sixty five days, twelve months, one full year. Are you
- 16:12Speaker 3: giving up your lovely coffee or caffeine?
- 16:17Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 16:19Speaker 3: Or kissing? Seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 16:23Speaker 3: eight seven. The reason I am bringing this to you
- 16:25Speaker 3: this morning is because if I talk to my wife
- 16:28Speaker 3: about it, I got to tell you about it.
- 16:29Speaker 7: The next day.
- 16:30Speaker 3: I asked my wife, who loves her morning coffee, that's
- 16:33Speaker 3: part of her routine, if you had to, if you
- 16:36Speaker 3: had to give up kissing me for a year or
- 16:37Speaker 3: your coffee for a year, which one are you picking?
- 16:40Speaker 3: And it really is disappointing how hard she had to
- 16:42Speaker 3: think about it. You know, the answer should be automatic,
- 16:46Speaker 3: right off the off the top, like, oh, yeah, I'd
- 16:48Speaker 3: give up the coffee for yeah. Now, she did say
- 16:50Speaker 3: the coffee, but she wasn't thrilled about it, which is
- 16:54Speaker 3: that's funny. It is sweet, but I needed a little
- 16:57Speaker 3: more concrete of an answer there. So which one would
- 17:01Speaker 3: you do? Seven oh one two eight zero one nine
- 17:04Speaker 3: eight seven. Angie, you enjoy some coffee from time to time?
- 17:08Speaker 3: You like coffee in the morning.
- 17:09Speaker 1: I do, so.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I really like coffee, and I really like kissing.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Kissing is my favorite thing on the planet.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Actually, And because I was like sick earlier this week,
- 17:20Speaker 2: to try and get better, I.
- 17:22Speaker 1: Did not drink any coffee this week.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Because they say caffeine is like bad when you're trying
- 17:28Speaker 2: to sure recover, and because I didn't want to get
- 17:31Speaker 2: Mikey sick, I haven't been kissing him, and so I've
- 17:34Speaker 2: been without both a few days.
- 17:37Speaker 7: You're kissing in coffee bars or low.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well so I've been without for a few days
- 17:41Speaker 2: of both. And if I had to introduce one back
- 17:45Speaker 2: into my life and give up the other for the
- 17:48Speaker 2: rest of a year, bro, I need my kissing. Okay, Okay,
- 17:53Speaker 2: I can live without coffee, but I love smooches. I'm
- 17:57Speaker 2: such an affectionate person, Like my love language is deaf,
- 18:00Speaker 2: like physical touch and affection, and I hate not kissing.
- 18:03Speaker 1: That's like the worst Heidi.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Well, she's the exact opposite, Heidi said happily kissing l ol.
- 18:11Speaker 3: On Facebook. We also had a lot of people who
- 18:14Speaker 3: went the other way as well. Michelle said, I survived
- 18:18Speaker 3: to five years without kissing. I think I will live now.
- 18:21Speaker 3: You take my coffee, you might be the one to
- 18:23Speaker 3: not make it. We have Tracy Tracy, this is actually incredible.
- 18:27Speaker 3: She was one of the people who kind of went
- 18:28Speaker 3: the other way. She said, I'm going eight years without caffeine,
- 18:32Speaker 3: So what's another.
- 18:34Speaker 1: What is your secret? Tracy?
- 18:36Speaker 7: How do you do it?
- 18:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I can't imagine.
- 18:38Speaker 3: What are you well rested? I mean, come on, all right?
- 18:42Speaker 3: And then finally here Elena. Elena made me laugh pretty hard.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Elena said, they can kiss my we'll clean it up.
- 18:50Speaker 3: They can kiss my butt before they take my caffeine.
- 18:54Speaker 3: That's a good play on words there, like seven oh
- 18:56Speaker 3: one two eight zero one nine eight seven. You gotta
- 18:59Speaker 3: give up one for a year, coffee or kissing.
- 19:04Speaker 1: I need some good.
- 19:07Speaker 8: Starting off the day with something good. This is Gabe's
- 19:11Speaker 8: good news on Big ninety eight point seven.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Twenty year old Bowden bo Meyer, a Fargo Shanley graduate,
- 19:20Speaker 3: is finally home after spending six months recovering from a
- 19:25Speaker 3: traumatic brain injury suffered in a golf cart accident back
- 19:29Speaker 3: in May. Doctors once told his parents to say they're goodbyes,
- 19:35Speaker 3: but it wouldn't be Gabe's good news of the day
- 19:37Speaker 3: if this didn't end up happening, as Bo pulled through
- 19:41Speaker 3: and kept fighting every single day. His dad, Chris says,
- 19:45Speaker 3: the recovery is slow, but there are no limits for.
- 19:48Speaker 7: Bo, who's a competitor at heart now.
- 19:51Speaker 3: Through this journey, they ended up at this hospital in
- 19:53Speaker 3: Colorado and the Meyers focused on what they called little
- 19:57Speaker 3: wins or small victories, and they add up, that's one
- 20:01Speaker 3: thing we like doing here on Big ninety eight point
- 20:03Speaker 3: seven is taking small little things and celebrating them every day,
- 20:06Speaker 3: and that's exactly what this family did. Bow now has
- 20:10Speaker 3: fewer tubes, he can eat on his own and continues
- 20:13Speaker 3: to make progress. The family says they're guided by faith
- 20:16Speaker 3: and they're grateful to finally have Bow home in Fargo,
- 20:20Speaker 3: surrounded by community and support. So big round laplause to
- 20:25Speaker 3: Bow and his family here this morning, and hey, we're
- 20:28Speaker 3: with you, Bo. We're gonna pay attention to this story
- 20:30Speaker 3: as we continue on and we keep and we're gonna
- 20:32Speaker 3: be excited to excuse me to keep learning about your
- 20:34Speaker 3: little victories and the small things every day that you're continuing.
- 20:37Speaker 1: To do what a fighter.
- 20:39Speaker 7: Yeah, way to go, Bow.
- 20:40Speaker 3: And you know, to them and their family, we wish
- 20:42Speaker 3: you nothing but the best moving forward. The world is
- 20:45Speaker 3: full of nice people. If you can't find one, you
- 20:47Speaker 3: gotta be one.
