- 0:00Speaker 1: Weekday's sweet a seven pm A flash Drive with Carl
- 0:05Speaker 1: Wasty on kf M ninety four point five.
- 0:08Speaker 2: That's what it is. Welcome, Welcome, it is your show,
- 0:10Speaker 2: the flash Drive in KFM ninety four point five. My
- 0:13Speaker 2: full name is Carl Wasty. Her full name Cassidy Jade Nicholson. Hey,
- 0:22Speaker 2: I actually have that on somewhere in my system here
- 0:25Speaker 2: whole Sorry, there you go.
- 0:28Speaker 3: Let's do this again. All right, Nicholas, I'm talking about.
- 0:34Speaker 2: So your day has been amazing. Tell me all about it.
- 0:36Speaker 4: Oh?
- 0:37Speaker 2: Yes, did you? And then you went for that biticure
- 0:41Speaker 2: a headache? Really?
- 0:44Speaker 5: What a little bit of a change of season thing
- 0:46Speaker 5: going on right now?
- 0:47Speaker 2: Everybody does.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that's normal.
- 0:49Speaker 5: So I'm prioritizing slower mornings, a little bit more sleep,
- 0:54Speaker 5: and just.
- 0:55Speaker 3: Being extra healthy. Excluding the biscuit I had with my coffee.
- 0:58Speaker 2: Did you have a biscuit at the moment? With your
- 0:59Speaker 2: talking right, it's going to be filled with sugar.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah, don't give me.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I'm just trying. I need you to live your best life.
- 1:06Speaker 2: That's all I want.
- 1:07Speaker 3: That's why I had the biscuit with my coffee.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Okay, good lovely stuff.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Balance, look it up.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Balance is very good. You know what. I've been balancing
- 1:15Speaker 2: my my home at the moment, and I've been cleaning
- 1:18Speaker 2: out my garage.
- 1:19Speaker 5: Oh my goodness, that is that is very fun.
- 1:21Speaker 2: I think it's because I've been watching too many of
- 1:23Speaker 2: these Netflix documentaries on home cleanups and I've been inspired.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And now I'm ripping through my garage at the moment,
- 1:29Speaker 2: I am literally at the point where I'm looking for
- 1:31Speaker 2: one of those you know those companies where they'll they'll
- 1:34Speaker 2: kind of like buy all of your old tech so
- 1:37Speaker 2: that you don't do any tech waste, because today's World
- 1:39Speaker 2: Earth Day and I want to make sure I'm going
- 1:41Speaker 2: green with my cleanup. So that's my I'm at that point.
- 1:44Speaker 2: Now we have created the piles, so I know exactly
- 1:47Speaker 2: where the old tech needs to go and needs to
- 1:48Speaker 2: go to a company that can do with it what
- 1:50Speaker 2: they need to because I know that they manage that responsibly.
- 1:54Speaker 2: And then there's another section of ear of the stuff
- 1:56Speaker 2: that I actually need and will keep, and then a
- 1:59Speaker 2: lot of the stuff's going to go second hand stores.
- 2:01Speaker 2: And I'm ready to do this. It's like a clean slate.
- 2:03Speaker 2: I feel so good, I feel lighter, and I want
- 2:05Speaker 2: to highly recommend before the winter months.
- 2:07Speaker 3: Are you spring cleaning spring?
- 2:09Speaker 2: Yes, I'm autumn cleaning. But my mind is so clear
- 2:14Speaker 2: because no longer is there that corner where I'm like
- 2:17Speaker 2: wondering what's in the corner now, like I know what's
- 2:20Speaker 2: in that draw now. Yeah, just from these documentaries. I've
- 2:23Speaker 2: been watching these, like Home Edit and that sort of thing.
- 2:25Speaker 2: It's been really cool to watch them. So I want
- 2:28Speaker 2: to recommend if you want to have that piece in
- 2:31Speaker 2: your morning, all right.
- 2:32Speaker 3: Going clean something up?
- 2:34Speaker 2: Yes, clean it, listen cleaning.
- 2:36Speaker 5: I'm so glad you had this. I feel like I
- 2:39Speaker 5: feel like especially girls, we've been doing it for years
- 2:42Speaker 5: because when we go through a breakup, we cut our
- 2:44Speaker 5: hair and we clean our room and we are a
- 2:46Speaker 5: new person. So I'm just telling you now, you just
- 2:49Speaker 5: have to cut your hair.
- 2:50Speaker 2: Okay, you don't get no problem. I'll go bald and
- 2:54Speaker 2: I'll be like, you know, then I'm going to come
- 2:56Speaker 2: to work and say you and me, your family, Oh
- 2:58Speaker 2: my god, I'm going to go diesel on you if
- 3:00Speaker 2: I hoiit a little a Carl Coopy, but it's been
- 3:03Speaker 2: so good. Honestly, it's good, and you'll be surprised at
- 3:08Speaker 2: the stuff that you the percentage of things that you
- 3:11Speaker 2: have versus what you actually need is going to shock
- 3:13Speaker 2: you question how many.
- 3:15Speaker 5: Of those things right? Because this is the habit that
- 3:17Speaker 5: I have when I'm cleaning up. Tell me why I've
- 3:19Speaker 5: got on, like an old pair of sunglasses from two
- 3:22Speaker 5: thousand and like a jersey that I bought when I
- 3:24Speaker 5: was eight, I'm like playing dress up simultaneously whilst cleaning
- 3:27Speaker 5: it up, like I look fab, but also they all
- 3:30Speaker 5: need to go.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Did you play dress up?
- 3:32Speaker 2: I did something, not dress up?
- 3:34Speaker 3: What did you do?
- 3:36Speaker 2: I formatted thirteen flash drives. I get flash drives in
- 3:40Speaker 2: gift sets and I've been using flash drives now. O
- 3:42Speaker 2: the things I've found the bank of them. I found
- 3:45Speaker 2: some old awesome pictures. I found one of the original
- 3:49Speaker 2: talent show videos from a son's talent show at his school,
- 3:53Speaker 2: which I'm going to use at his twenty first Oh,
- 3:56Speaker 2: I'm so excited. Now I've not archived that. But like
- 3:59Speaker 2: thirty flash drives, and trust me, I'm not one to
- 4:02Speaker 2: format a flash drive. I like to keep it full
- 4:05Speaker 2: like this show. Anyway, this time I can tell you
- 4:08Speaker 2: like you're gonna have flash drives. Flash drives on lanyards,
- 4:11Speaker 2: splash drives as gifts, splash drives that have adverts for
- 4:13Speaker 2: companies on it. Yeah, and I formatted all of those.
- 4:16Speaker 2: And that's also needs to go to a place that
- 4:18Speaker 2: can can do with it what they need to or
- 4:21Speaker 2: and but it's been really cool. So I'm just gonna say,
- 4:24Speaker 2: if you're looking for a place to go on a weekend,
- 4:27Speaker 2: do a house clean up. I'm feeling so good man,
- 4:29Speaker 2: I'm feeling so clear. So let's do this thing on
- 4:31Speaker 2: the show today. All right, let's do this. Let's get
- 4:34Speaker 2: you a cash back from clicks. Let's with an open mind,
- 4:38Speaker 2: get you a chance to get your kid on the
- 4:41Speaker 2: show once again, because Kiddipedia is coming up inside this hour.
- 4:45Speaker 2: We are back with our good friends at Cab Foods,
- 4:49Speaker 2: and I'd love to get your kid on the radio
- 4:52Speaker 2: in the spotlight sharing something so naturally and truthfully as
- 4:55Speaker 2: they always do. That's coming up to stop the hof posty.
- 4:57Speaker 2: But welcome to your show, The flash Drive KUFAM four
- 5:00Speaker 2: point five. Let's put some miles on it, Drove Big Lift,
- 5:04Speaker 2: Oh Roah, the incredible Olivia Dean, so easy to fall
- 5:07Speaker 2: in love on your show flash Drive KFM ninety four
- 5:09Speaker 2: point five. If you'd like to win the cash back
- 5:11Speaker 2: I was talking about earlier, then please just share what
- 5:14Speaker 2: you are excited to get when the pay comes in
- 5:18Speaker 2: Playday Essentials, when the pay comes in, what you're getting
- 5:21Speaker 2: from Clicksco cassidy you're getting.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Oh I think I'm gonna go and get new shampoo.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Oh yes, I need to get body wash.
- 5:30Speaker 3: I was waiting through this ideodron.
- 5:32Speaker 2: No no, no body, why no, not like that?
- 5:35Speaker 3: Not like that?
- 5:36Speaker 2: Oh all right, no, no, no.
- 5:38Speaker 3: Yours just good for seventy two hours.
- 5:39Speaker 2: So worried. Just you know, you know, very true when
- 5:43Speaker 2: you when you get to a moment in your life,
- 5:45Speaker 2: you know you're gonna have a beautiful kid, and they're
- 5:47Speaker 2: gonna be They're going to be beautiful, I know, right,
- 5:49Speaker 2: and I look at these eyebrows. Yes, your your child's
- 5:52Speaker 2: going to be gorgeous. But then they're going to become teenagers,
- 5:55Speaker 2: and then they're going to have an idea that the perishables,
- 5:59Speaker 2: you know, like toilet paper and the body wash and
- 6:01Speaker 2: the shampoo and the conditioner, that's all gonna arrive back
- 6:05Speaker 2: into the bathroom when it's empty. So at the moment,
- 6:08Speaker 2: I'm in a bit of a body wash crisis in
- 6:10Speaker 2: my home?
- 6:11Speaker 3: Answer this, okay.
- 6:12Speaker 2: Talked to me.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Have you been you know how you have that lack?
- 6:15Speaker 5: Last last you know the drakes of the Have you
- 6:19Speaker 5: been putting a little bit of water in the.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Do you have a GoPro up in my shower? Because
- 6:26Speaker 2: you've seen things there obviously I have to. I'm okay.
- 6:31Speaker 2: I think what what people don't understand when you work
- 6:33Speaker 2: on radio. I think there's this idea of like this
- 6:36Speaker 2: generational wealth that's suddenly you know, just this layers upon
- 6:40Speaker 2: your life. All right, I suckle, just like especially and
- 6:45Speaker 2: body wash gets very expensive. But now but now I
- 6:48Speaker 2: know for a fact I am. I am the person
- 6:50Speaker 2: who does the teaspoon size that's even too much. And
- 6:53Speaker 2: then I have my little my dunga chi that I
- 6:57Speaker 2: wash with, right, I have actually I have a loof,
- 6:59Speaker 2: but also have a I have a thing which is
- 7:00Speaker 2: a little better. You should get look into those. Click
- 7:03Speaker 2: says those too, and then you know you you lather
- 7:07Speaker 2: and then you HOI right, and that's like a teaspoon size.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I have a feeling because I know it's not me
- 7:12Speaker 2: that there's a gentleman in my home who is who
- 7:15Speaker 2: is just one liter filling up like maybe he wants
- 7:19Speaker 2: to coat the entire thing, the whole thing. And that
- 7:24Speaker 2: explains a lot though, because I have no idea how
- 7:26Speaker 2: a shower looks like a bubble bath afterwards. And you know,
- 7:28Speaker 2: now I know, so that's what I'm going to get.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Pay it comes that whole album.
- 7:31Speaker 5: So you know that the whole album, Yes, because he's
- 7:34Speaker 5: got to play the mud, so yes, he needs it
- 7:37Speaker 5: to last.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and the whole album. And also the whole house
- 7:40Speaker 2: smells beautiful often that that's how I noticed too much waterfall. Yes,
- 7:44Speaker 2: there's like a ocean breeze stupe of thing that's happening.
- 7:48Speaker 2: All there's like a like a minty freshness that depends
- 7:51Speaker 2: on which. But now I know for a fact, I'm
- 7:52Speaker 2: gonna go. I'm stocking up on body washing clicks. Pay
- 7:55Speaker 2: is coming in. I'm ready. Yes, that's what I'm going

- 12:11Speaker 2: Pdia is, all I'm doing is I'm asking your kid
- 12:14Speaker 2: a question. But you need to be my investigative journalist
- 12:17Speaker 2: and just get your phone near to them and record
- 12:19Speaker 2: their natural answers. Don't worry about trying to lead them
- 12:23Speaker 2: to a certain answer. Just let them cook, because that's
- 12:26Speaker 2: what you need to do. These kids are absolutely incredible.
- 12:28Speaker 2: To give you an example that Cassidy and I were
- 12:31Speaker 2: involved with just last year. For Kiddi Pedia, I'm going

- 12:45Speaker 2: Let us know.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I would put anyone that asks just for one bite
- 12:49Speaker 4: out of your food and ends up eating off of
- 12:51Speaker 4: it straight to jail. Make more play grounds.
- 12:55Speaker 8: I was president, I've improved their editations study because I
- 13:01Speaker 8: want everybody in South Africa to be the smartest people
- 13:05Speaker 8: in the world.
- 13:05Speaker 2: I care them.
- 13:06Speaker 8: If I was a president for one day, I'd probably change.
- 13:10Speaker 2: If you were.
- 13:11Speaker 4: At school, you wouldn't have to work your whole day,
- 13:14Speaker 4: you could only work minimum.

- 13:17Speaker 8: If our suppose look at I'll give everyone refoll our
- 13:22Speaker 8: chicken nuggets.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Agree with chicken nuggets. Refalls was one of the laws
- 13:28Speaker 2: you still agree with all this time.
- 13:29Speaker 3: With the chicken nuts.
- 13:31Speaker 2: Yeah, so that's the giddy video goes. It's officially back.
- 13:34Speaker 2: We are very excited to have it back on the
- 13:36Speaker 2: show Wednesdays on your flash drive. And today's question is
- 13:41Speaker 2: inspired by Cab Foods, our brand new sponsors, who are
- 13:44Speaker 2: going to put up a thousand rand Cab Foods voucher
- 13:47Speaker 2: for a lucky kid who answers this question, and it
- 13:50Speaker 2: is what is a call veinky? Now? Remember I'm just
- 13:56Speaker 2: looking for their answers. So doesn't stardi have to be
- 14:01Speaker 2: a Googled or chat, GPTD or geminid answer. No, just
- 14:05Speaker 2: let them listen to the word and answer the way
- 14:08Speaker 2: they want to, because it's not really about right in
- 14:11Speaker 2: this regard, It's about them listening to a word and thinking, hey,
- 14:15Speaker 2: what could this be? What could it mean? So calveyanky?
- 14:19Speaker 2: What is that? Please ask your kid now? Please et
- 14:23Speaker 2: men know what their names are, maybe what school they
- 14:25Speaker 2: go to as well, but obviously if you consent as
- 14:27Speaker 2: a parent, and we'd love to get them on the
- 14:29Speaker 2: show on the flash drive. In KFM ninety four point five,
- 14:31Speaker 2: the question once again, please ask your kid what is
- 14:34Speaker 2: a goll vyanky? And go ah Yes, Sunset Sweatshop, It's
- 14:39Speaker 2: on your show flash Drive k ninety four point five. Welcome, Welcome.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Cab Foods is backing kiddy Pedia for the next couple
- 14:45Speaker 2: of weeks, and I'm looking forward to getting your kid
- 14:48Speaker 2: onto the show and sharing their honest and very cute
- 14:52Speaker 2: answers to a wide range of questions that we are
- 14:55Speaker 2: very excited to ask them. Today's question was what is
- 14:59Speaker 2: a gol van? Out of interest? Do you know what
- 15:01Speaker 2: a call thanky is? Cassidy J. Nicholson call look at me?
- 15:06Speaker 3: Do I look like I know what a call thanky is?
- 15:07Speaker 2: You look like a call thanky? That's what you do.
- 15:10Speaker 2: That's what that's I mean, that's what you look like.
- 15:12Speaker 2: But don't worry. We will reveal what a call thanky
- 15:14Speaker 2: is very soon. But before we get there, we have
- 15:16Speaker 2: some answers for kitty Pedia today with cab foods. Okay,
- 15:19Speaker 2: a few. So when you hear the word call yanky,
- 15:22Speaker 2: what does it make you think of? What is it?
- 15:26Speaker 6: Uncle Corle?
- 15:27Speaker 4: I am Jamien from from the primary school and I
- 15:31Speaker 4: am in grade two point one and I finger call
- 15:36Speaker 4: vinky is when you call for way to form more wine.
- 15:43Speaker 2: She took the words of Cassidy's mouth. There, All right,
- 15:46Speaker 2: that's one miller.
- 15:48Speaker 6: What is I call ynky?
- 15:53Speaker 4: Cool?
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yanky? Uh?
- 16:00Speaker 7: You call someone ak?

- 21:06Speaker 2: I came across something and I just have one question
- 21:08Speaker 2: for you, Cassidy J. Nicholson. So just hear me out
- 21:10Speaker 2: in this one if you are looking for another business ideas,
- 21:14Speaker 2: you know, because obviously we work in radio and you
- 21:16Speaker 2: work in the entertainment industry. We have to have side hustles.
- 21:19Speaker 2: Of course, I may have found one that would be
- 21:21Speaker 2: perfect for certain people. Okay, Iceland they're looking for peeps, Okay,
- 21:28Speaker 2: but they're looking for peeps who have no skills in
- 21:30Speaker 2: a certain field. Hear me out. Sounds like a joke.
- 21:35Speaker 2: But if you're terrible at taking photos, Iceland is looking
- 21:39Speaker 2: for you. Iceland Air has launched a global campaign looking
- 21:43Speaker 2: for a really bad photographer, and they are serious about it.
- 21:46Speaker 2: The airline is offering one lucky and proudly unskilled photographer
- 21:51Speaker 2: a ten day, all expenses paid, trip to Iceland plus
- 21:55Speaker 2: about fifty thousand dollars plus minus nine hundred and rad
- 22:01Speaker 2: just to take photos bad photos. He here's the twist.
- 22:06Speaker 2: You're not allowed to be good. In fact, there's specifically
- 22:09Speaker 2: want someone with no photography skills at all, no lighting skills,
- 22:14Speaker 2: no angles, no filtering, no post. The whole idea is
- 22:18Speaker 2: to prove a bold point Iceland is so naturally beautiful
- 22:21Speaker 2: that even the worst photographer can capture beauty.
- 22:24Speaker 5: Come on, Oh geez, I like the campaign and I
- 22:30Speaker 5: know loads of.
- 22:31Speaker 3: People that would be able to apply for the job.
- 22:36Speaker 5: If your girlfriend wants to be a social media influencer,
- 22:42Speaker 5: they might need you for the job because you know,
- 22:46Speaker 5: you don't know how to take a photo over you know.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Furthermore, you know, can we add to that. I know
- 22:51Speaker 2: for a fact that that lens is going to look
- 22:56Speaker 2: like an episode of Bold and the Beautiful, that cloudy
- 22:59Speaker 2: dream look on it because you know that hand cream
- 23:01Speaker 2: has been smeared over the lens, but you didn't even
- 23:03Speaker 2: see that front and back lens. By the way, Yes,
- 23:06Speaker 2: so there's like this interesting flair. It's like everybody has
- 23:09Speaker 2: a stigmatism, and it's because no it's because the picture
- 23:12Speaker 2: is that bad, because you can have a little hue
- 23:13Speaker 2: of it. It's like you took the picture through a
- 23:15Speaker 2: shopping bag.
- 23:16Speaker 5: My favorite thing is is Carl telling people, no, clean
- 23:20Speaker 5: the lens. Is a lens wait, so so he knows, so.
- 23:23Speaker 3: He can't apply.
- 23:25Speaker 2: I don't tell them to clean. I do it there
- 23:26Speaker 2: for you. Watch that I did.
- 23:28Speaker 5: That's what he told me. But my lens is always cleaned.
- 23:32Speaker 2: So when someone takes a selfie, I want them to
- 23:34Speaker 2: capture the moment and keep it because they're very flattering,
- 23:37Speaker 2: but I want to make sure that it's clear man
- 23:38Speaker 2: for them, Okay, not for me.
- 23:40Speaker 3: Okay, no, I can't. I get it.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 23:42Speaker 5: But what I was trying to say is if you
- 23:45Speaker 5: are someone who didn't know about cleaning the lens, or
- 23:49Speaker 5: your girlfriend says no, please take it again, but this
- 23:52Speaker 5: time getting more sky.
- 23:53Speaker 3: This is for you.
- 23:55Speaker 2: It's it's such a good opportunity. Nine of one thousand
- 23:57Speaker 2: ran ten days, all expenses paid, trip to Iceland and
- 23:59Speaker 2: only have to do is like snap bad photos. That's
- 24:01Speaker 2: the best thing ever. But I love this campaign. It's
- 24:03Speaker 2: really genius. It does beg the question, though, if you
- 24:06Speaker 2: got paid for something that you're terrible at. What would
- 24:09Speaker 2: you get paid for me? Yeah? If you got paid
- 24:12Speaker 2: for something that you're really bad at, what would I
- 24:14Speaker 2: be paying you for, Cassidy J. Nicholson. Now lay it
- 24:16Speaker 2: out on the table. What are you really bad at?
- 24:21Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 24:23Speaker 2: You see so bashful? You are you turning red?
- 24:26Speaker 1: No?
- 24:26Speaker 5: Because I'm like when someone's like, h so, what do
- 24:30Speaker 5: you bring to the tables?
- 24:30Speaker 3: Like, Oh, I'm a perfectionist.
- 24:32Speaker 2: Oh, I'll tell you what you what I mean? Let
- 24:34Speaker 2: me answer that for you.
- 24:35Speaker 3: No, please don't I'm going to be offended.
- 24:37Speaker 2: No, don't worry. Don't worry. I got your back.
- 24:39Speaker 5: I'm really bad at saying the letter s.
- 24:46Speaker 3: When did you go? Where did you go? Wait? I
- 24:59Speaker 3: wasn't like, no, that's not why you read Pietrice.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Just Peter just messaged me. He said, if anybody's looking
- 25:07Speaker 2: for an Afrikaans translator, they must call you. Staying under this, Beatrice,
- 25:14Speaker 2: you mentioned that nine hundred thousand rand we are looking
- 25:17Speaker 2: for an Afrikaans translator.
- 25:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I knew it was small one?
- 25:22Speaker 2: Yes, or a call for a small one?
- 25:25Speaker 4: Right?
- 25:25Speaker 3: Yes?
- 25:25Speaker 2: Exactly? Yep? One yeah one one? Thank you thanks a lot?
- 25:32Speaker 2: All right, So so that's yeah, okay, So we're gonna
- 25:35Speaker 2: go with Afrikaans translation yes and translating the words sussex, sussex,
- 25:45Speaker 2: excuse me, sussex. Okay, what would you go?
- 25:50Speaker 11: The way?
- 25:51Speaker 2: By the way? Hold on? If you say the words so,
- 25:54Speaker 2: does it sound like a Chris Hemsworth character does? Okay? Anyway?
- 25:58Speaker 2: Oh wait, just Carrinanne here. If I had to pay
- 26:00Speaker 2: you for something you dared at, what would I be
- 26:02Speaker 2: paying you for? Oh?
- 26:04Speaker 7: I'm really, really, really bad at budgeting, and that's why
- 26:09Speaker 7: my card would sometimes decline.
- 26:11Speaker 2: As we know. Oh, we don't know, because she puts
- 26:17Speaker 2: everything out there. I'm just saying she's very honest and authentic.
- 26:19Speaker 2: That's why I love her, Karen Anne. Is that she
- 26:22Speaker 2: she spills her own tea.
- 26:23Speaker 1: You know.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Who's that?
- 26:25Speaker 3: You?
- 26:26Speaker 2: Oh? Me?
- 26:27Speaker 3: Yes?
- 26:27Speaker 2: All right? If you need someone to reach the top shelf.
- 26:29Speaker 3: No, come on, we know this. Say we need a
- 26:32Speaker 3: new one.
- 26:33Speaker 2: A new one?
- 26:33Speaker 3: Yes.
- 26:34Speaker 2: If you need someone to respond to WhatsApp.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Mister blue tick over here. That is at least he admitted.
- 26:45Speaker 2: It, if you know. And Edmund as well, like, I
- 26:48Speaker 2: don't think I'm I have to have sometimes on Mondays,
- 26:51Speaker 2: I come here and I'm like wow, so if you
- 26:55Speaker 2: need Edmund done, pay yeah, yeah, pay me for the
- 26:59Speaker 2: Edmond job.
- 27:00Speaker 3: And maths see maths some like.
- 27:02Speaker 2: There are areas where I'm actually good at maths.
- 27:04Speaker 5: There are areas multiplication and long division.
- 27:07Speaker 2: Your long division is no, no, no, don't call me
- 27:10Speaker 2: for long division.
- 27:11Speaker 3: I want to do a guy.
- 27:12Speaker 2: Pay me for that. If you want to pay me
- 27:14Speaker 2: for something. A bad at long division is right up there. However,
- 27:17Speaker 2: surprisingly I wasn't bad at calculus in my matricua. Okay,
- 27:21Speaker 2: I remember, like just all of those ratios and cosec
- 27:26Speaker 2: and oh.
- 27:28Speaker 5: Anyway, yes, but now you know, yeah, now you know.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Imagine someone paid you, all right, imagine someone paid you
- 27:34Speaker 2: for something you are terrible at. What would you get
- 27:37Speaker 2: paid for?
- 27:39Speaker 5: I'm really really bad at being friendly to stupid people.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Millions you're tell me? Are you really feel blanket approach?
- 27:50Speaker 5: Females will be very each for driving? Ah, I'm really
- 28:00Speaker 5: bad at is adulting?
- 28:03Speaker 2: Can someone please pay me for adulting?
- 28:06Speaker 6: Badly?
- 28:08Speaker 2: So glad you said adulting. I sort of heard adultery anyway, No, no,
- 28:12Speaker 2: she said adulting. Sorry, Okay, cool, Well there we go.
- 28:15Speaker 2: I mean Iceland's looking for a bad photographer, but just
- 28:17Speaker 2: imagine someone had a check book out and they said,
- 28:19Speaker 2: I'm going to pay you something that you're terrible at.
- 28:23Speaker 2: What would it be? Dream up with us just a
- 28:25Speaker 2: little bit, Hey, yeah, and send me a WhatsApp. I'm
- 28:28Speaker 2: unlikely to reply, but I appreciate it. Don't beat yourself up,
- 28:32Speaker 2: Charlie poose. Don't beat yourself up up at being bad
- 28:35Speaker 2: at something. Get paid for it. That's the dream that
- 28:37Speaker 2: I I'm wanting you to dream today. The reason why
- 28:39Speaker 2: is that Iceland is looking for a terrible photographer because
- 28:42Speaker 2: they have this massive campaign proving that even a terrible
- 28:44Speaker 2: photographer can capture the beauty of Iceland, and that's what
- 28:47Speaker 2: they are looking for at the moment. They're going to
- 28:50Speaker 2: pay the person nine hundred thousand Rand to take photos,
- 28:52Speaker 2: but bad photos. They need to have no prior photography knowledge.
- 28:56Speaker 2: They must just come through there and snap the shots
- 28:58Speaker 2: they think looks good. That's it and it's going to
- 28:59Speaker 2: be a lot of a lot of fun for them.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But I was just thinking, imagine we got paid for
- 29:04Speaker 2: the things that we're really bad at are really bad.
- 29:08Speaker 2: So just to remind you about Cassidy, No, I'm not
- 29:14Speaker 2: love clearing my throat I'm human too. I was clearing
- 29:17Speaker 2: my throat. My throat is not succinct. That's why I
- 29:23Speaker 2: can so that would be right mine? Yes, mine is.
- 29:29Speaker 3: I can't say the letter is.
- 29:31Speaker 2: So there we go. Both of us would be paid
- 29:34Speaker 2: to reach the top shelves how NBA Truly, we'd be
- 29:38Speaker 2: paid a lot of money. No prior basketball knowledge or trouble.
- 29:42Speaker 2: That's that's all. But I mean, i've been ball carriers
- 29:44Speaker 2: are quite short in the NBA. Right, Yeah, that's cool.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Let's try and believe that.
- 29:49Speaker 2: Yes, believe it. And I mean, what about you.
- 29:53Speaker 4: I'll be really bad or get really rich on putting
- 29:57Speaker 4: things back together after I've taken them apart because some
- 29:59Speaker 4: of them my brain has cut selective amnesia.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Yeah, it happens your car.
- 30:06Speaker 6: If I had to get paid for doing something I'm
- 30:08Speaker 6: really bad at, it would be taking the washing off
- 30:11Speaker 6: of the washing line.
- 30:12Speaker 5: I love doing washing. I hate taking off the dry
- 30:16Speaker 5: washing off the washing line.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I will let that hang there.
- 30:20Speaker 5: Until it's time to do washing again because I've worn
- 30:23Speaker 5: everything as I needed it.
- 30:24Speaker 3: I don't know why, but yeah.
- 30:27Speaker 2: That's what you're paying me for. That's really relatable because
- 30:30Speaker 2: I also don't like I don't like taking washing off
- 30:32Speaker 2: the line, but I like putting washing on the line
- 30:34Speaker 2: and doing washing, but taking it off for some reason,
- 30:36Speaker 2: I don't know why. It's just like I feel like
- 30:38Speaker 2: the job is done. That's no longer my problem. And
- 30:40Speaker 2: then there'll be like a torrential rain, and then I'll
- 30:42Speaker 2: be like, I'm gonna leave it out there? What? And
- 30:45Speaker 2: then it's already there and it's really mith. It's fine,
- 30:47Speaker 2: it's gone.
- 30:49Speaker 6: It's snoring that I snore myself away but not my wife.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Wow, you're how bad can you be? It's you don't
- 31:00Speaker 2: wake up any anybody else for yourself. Okay. You know
- 31:03Speaker 2: what is.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Something that I'm really bad at?
- 31:06Speaker 6: Its acknowledging that when my boyfriend is right, you're I'll
- 31:11Speaker 6: actually be a millionaire.
- 31:13Speaker 3: But I would rather beople.
- 31:17Speaker 5: Let it be known. Women would rather be poor than anowledge.
- 31:21Speaker 2: If it's a man, who's right, Sure, it's it's here.
- 31:24Speaker 2: Have you heard it here? First? Wow? Sonya?
- 31:27Speaker 11: Yes? Carl?
- 31:28Speaker 2: All right?
- 31:30Speaker 1: Hi?
- 31:30Speaker 2: What are we paying you for a thing that you're
- 31:32Speaker 2: really bad at?
- 31:34Speaker 11: I'm really bad at laughing like a lady, a snicker,
- 31:39Speaker 11: a little like a giggle. I have nobody got time
- 31:43Speaker 11: for that I laugh from the stomach. I laugh. It's
- 31:47Speaker 11: a family trait, that's what it is.
- 31:50Speaker 3: What does try?
- 31:52Speaker 11: But I just said to Petrice, do not make me
- 31:55Speaker 11: laugh because it is not a pretty sight.
- 31:59Speaker 3: Right, that's what I would.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Let's make her laugh. Laugh, Sonia, come on, now, we're
- 32:04Speaker 2: gonna have to make you laugh somehow what are we
- 32:06Speaker 2: going to do?
- 32:08Speaker 11: Envy them?
- 32:09Speaker 2: Excuse me not you?
- 32:14Speaker 3: You see laughing, it's contagious laughing.
- 32:18Speaker 11: I can relate. No, listen, I laugh, and then some.
- 32:23Speaker 3: And then some I want to hear what and then
- 32:24Speaker 3: some sounds.
- 32:25Speaker 11: Like no, No, I don't know what to do.
- 32:29Speaker 2: Give me words with the letter that would be good.
- 32:32Speaker 2: Come on, come on, Catch one and Sussex are both sustainable.
- 32:36Speaker 3: And are both sustainable.
- 32:38Speaker 2: They're not working. Come on, Sonya, that almost came out
- 32:42Speaker 2: there hiding.
- 32:44Speaker 11: I am not gonna laugh. It is so unlady like.
- 32:47Speaker 7: I didn't come on.
- 32:50Speaker 2: Like that.
- 32:51Speaker 3: No such thing.
- 32:52Speaker 11: It's from the stomach.
- 32:53Speaker 7: It's so loud.
- 32:55Speaker 11: I'm like my sisters and I. It's almost like we're
- 32:57Speaker 11: in a competition who can do it a bit? But
- 33:00Speaker 11: it's just the actually, no, it's almost like you know,
- 33:03Speaker 11: like that family quis ring. Yeah, gotcha and I that's
- 33:07Speaker 11: our family questing.
- 33:08Speaker 2: But yeah, thank you last it's.
- 33:09Speaker 11: My laugh again. I'll record you, I'll record my.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Okay, record yes, get someone to record you laughing. I
- 33:14Speaker 2: want to hear this laugh of yours. But thanks a
- 33:16Speaker 2: lot for sharing and hopefully yes you can get paid
- 33:19Speaker 2: for with that. That'll be wonderful and that's how it goes.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Thank you for dreaming with us. We really appreciate you.
- 33:23Speaker 2: On the Flash Driving KFM ninety four point five, I
- 33:26Speaker 2: would just use traffick. It's get into that. It's brought

- 34:14Speaker 2: I don't like the term that you used as your
- 34:17Speaker 2: occupation here. I changed it for good effect, because you

- 34:41Speaker 2: five questions. Each one of these answers to those questions
- 34:44Speaker 2: will have a little word in them that is called
- 34:45Speaker 2: the flash word. Today it's World Earth Day, and I
- 34:49Speaker 2: made the flash word green, representing the Earth and how
- 34:54Speaker 2: we should all live a greener life to look after
- 34:57Speaker 2: our beautiful globe. Are you ready to rumble? Flash wordy?
- 35:02Speaker 4: Thanks?
- 35:02Speaker 6: Go for it.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Let's give it a shot. Your time begins in three
- 35:05Speaker 2: two one. Let's go basket case an American idiot? Are
- 35:10Speaker 2: their songs green by a suburb near Century City?
- 35:16Speaker 6: Green Point?
- 35:18Speaker 2: I'll move on. That's incorrect. The largest island in the world, Greenland.
- 35:23Speaker 2: A doctor Zeus book an inner City market venue market,
- 35:32Speaker 2: green market, need one more word there? Give you the
- 35:39Speaker 2: all right? So that's like I know you said green
- 35:41Speaker 2: market there, but only green Market square to complete this.
- 35:44Speaker 2: This the answer that I require green Eggs and Ham
- 35:48Speaker 2: Doctor Zeus, Greenland, largest island in the world, Summer Green
- 35:52Speaker 2: suburb near Century City, and then basket Case and American
- 35:55Speaker 2: Idiot on the Green Day songs. Let's go to you.
- 35:58Speaker 2: You got to want to said like two and a
- 36:00Speaker 2: half to beat it's two, but you know, let's see
- 36:02Speaker 2: how this goes. Okay, thirty seconds. Are you ready? Your
- 36:06Speaker 2: time begins in three two one, It's roll. Ryan Reynolds
- 36:10Speaker 2: played the superhero Green Lontern. The KFM studios are situated
- 36:15Speaker 2: in the suburb green Point. The US Permanent Residency document
- 36:22Speaker 2: It's a Green Cord, a book and movie featuring Tom
- 36:25Speaker 2: Hanks and Michael Clark Duncan. It's a Green Mole, a
- 36:29Speaker 2: glass building for plants, Greenhouse. Sure You're unstoppable. That is
- 36:36Speaker 2: five out of five. You are once again the flasher champion.
- 36:41Speaker 2: Peter Nikita, Well done, you gave it a shot and
- 36:44Speaker 2: you were excellent. Thank you, Thanks love it, Peter. You're
- 36:48Speaker 2: back here. Tomorrow to defend your title, minire great stuff,
- 36:52Speaker 2: thank you call love it man making everybody green with
- 36:55Speaker 2: envy his amazing intellect. It is the winner today, peternal.
- 36:58Speaker 2: You want to take him on? You know what to do?
- 37:01Speaker 2: Zane's new track called Sideways. What a song. It's a
- 37:03Speaker 2: flash drive KFN ninety four point five. Let's celebrate a birthday?
- 37:07Speaker 2: Whose birthday were celebrating today?
- 37:09Speaker 3: My uncle?
- 37:10Speaker 2: Your uncle's birthday? This is so great? Who's your uncle?
- 37:15Speaker 2: Jack Nicholson, Oh, Cassidy Jade Nicholson, Jack Nicholson, are you
- 37:21Speaker 2: planning to inherit anything you know? Are you in the
- 37:24Speaker 2: in the world? No talent? Really nothing, that's nice, That's
- 37:34Speaker 2: it nothing, okay, Jack Nicholson. What a legend. You've placed
- 37:37Speaker 2: Jack Nicholson movie titles all over your traffic, haven't you. Yes,
- 37:40Speaker 2: we just have to, like an Easter egg hunt, find
- 37:42Speaker 2: them and count them and give us a full tally.
- 37:45Speaker 2: That's what needs to happen. Happy birthday, Jack Nicholson, Sunny
- 37:49Speaker 2: Love time off. The time I did sing along to
- 37:53Speaker 2: that song was a goody Ultra South Africa. This Sunday
- 37:58Speaker 2: at the Ostrich don't miss it, John Summit Axwell is
- 38:00Speaker 2: going to be their Afrojack rehab back to back as
- 38:03Speaker 2: well Shimzer Dennis Ferrer. It's a proper lineup. But I
- 38:07Speaker 2: want to send you there with v IP tickets in
- 38:14Speaker 2: a HUM day that's going to be ultra. What I
- 38:21Speaker 2: need from you is for you to hum me the
- 38:23Speaker 2: song that you want to hear. And this is why
- 38:26Speaker 2: I said yesterday that it's going to be a bit
- 38:28Speaker 2: different today. So this is how it works. At the
- 38:32Speaker 2: end of the hum session, Cassidy Jade Nicholson will hum
- 38:35Speaker 2: you a song. The only catch with the day is
- 38:39Speaker 2: that the individuals who have heard their hums and their
- 38:42Speaker 2: songs played out prior to your hum will get a
- 38:46Speaker 2: chance to answer. So it's the quickest one out of
- 38:49Speaker 2: the bunch that we've played that will win the VIP tickets. Yes,
- 38:53Speaker 2: so it's high stakes humming here, you understand, So anybody
- 38:55Speaker 2: gets a shot to be in. But then that's only
- 38:58Speaker 2: one layer. The second one is to figure out what
- 39:00Speaker 2: you're humming. First person out of the group of people
- 39:02Speaker 2: who've populate HUM Day prior to your hum will get
- 39:05Speaker 2: the Ultra South Africa VIP tickets.
- 39:07Speaker 5: So if I'm correct, I need to do a little
- 39:10Speaker 5: bit I need to humm clearly, right, but I need
- 39:13Speaker 5: to do a little bit of a more difficult one.
- 39:17Speaker 2: I would say not difficult because already with Ultra South
- 39:20Speaker 2: Africa having a layer, I mean I've I've thought to myself,
- 39:22Speaker 2: how would I hum like Martin Garrick's animals? How would
- 39:27Speaker 2: you hum that that tsunami? That's correct, You're welcome. That's
- 39:36Speaker 2: why I'm here.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Whoa, you know what?
- 39:38Speaker 5: Actually, now you'll have to wait music radio.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Okay, that's it. Yeah, it got you covered, right? What
- 39:43Speaker 2: else did you need? Animal m M.
- 39:49Speaker 5: The same thing, basically the same thing.
- 39:58Speaker 2: So I'm saying it's gonna be quite a quite a
- 40:00Speaker 2: challenge for us to actually get the hums in today.
- 40:02Speaker 2: I mean, it doesn't necessarily have to be an Ultra
- 40:04Speaker 2: South Africa song, but it's always going to be nice
- 40:07Speaker 2: to have that texture. So I'm not gonna limit it
- 40:09Speaker 2: to only like Ultra music. So the DM stuff for
- 40:11Speaker 2: the big drop music, I mean, you can hum whatever
- 40:14Speaker 2: you want to, but if you get into that session,
- 40:16Speaker 2: it means that you have qualified to guess what Cassidy's
- 40:19Speaker 2: hum is zero A two nine four five zero nine
- 40:22Speaker 2: four zero Ultra South Africa VIP tickets. Await you it's
- 40:27Speaker 2: still a live call.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Hi.
- 40:33Speaker 5: Hello, Hello, Hello, Hi Callsidy Hi.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Now you you heard that hum? Right? Can you hum
- 40:41Speaker 2: it one more time? Just for this person here, because
- 40:43Speaker 2: they were the first in and I got a voice
- 40:45Speaker 2: nut from them and confirm, Latasha, that is that song? Eh?
- 40:58Speaker 2: That song? Right? Okay? No, not that one. Okay, not
- 41:03Speaker 2: that one. Then it's got to be let me not okay.
- 41:08Speaker 2: Now what what's your answer there? Because you were the
- 41:10Speaker 2: first to kill came through And what's the answer if.
- 41:13Speaker 6: I'm saying it correctly?
- 41:14Speaker 7: Dennis Sarah?
- 41:15Speaker 2: Hey, hey, hey, how about hey? Hey? You going to
- 41:18Speaker 2: Ultra South Africa as a VIP and the onions are
- 41:24Speaker 2: very mad?
- 41:26Speaker 5: The onions O, my word gets.
- 41:32Speaker 2: Sudden supper. What are you thinking?
- 41:35Speaker 6: I'm making apricot chicken?
- 41:39Speaker 2: But what are you making in? Sorry apricot chicken? Yeah?
- 41:43Speaker 2: In a clay pot. That's where you make Yes, you
- 41:47Speaker 2: win again, hold on, there's more applause. That's where you
- 41:50Speaker 2: make it. And then did you get the clay pot
- 41:53Speaker 2: from a relative?
- 41:56Speaker 9: No?
- 41:56Speaker 7: I actually got it on the flea market, but that.
- 41:59Speaker 2: Was from somebody's Because the thing is the claypot I
- 42:01Speaker 2: have is from an elder like you needed that older
- 42:04Speaker 2: stuck season clay pot to make this.
- 42:06Speaker 6: I don't think I have any elders.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Less No, but they leave these things to you. It's
- 42:11Speaker 2: either in the inheritance or the cleanup. It's either that's
- 42:16Speaker 2: the thing. If you certainly inheritance, you are part of
- 42:18Speaker 2: the cleanup. Thank you.
- 42:20Speaker 7: Yeah, but does it definitely going to bastand yeah. True,
- 42:24Speaker 7: so it's sorted.
- 42:26Speaker 2: Oh, this is amazing. Well Sunday Ultra South Africa v

- 43:49Speaker 2: are you ready to rumble? I am, okay, that's good
- 43:53Speaker 2: to hear. This is how it works out. First and foremost,
- 43:56Speaker 2: I have a couple of questions for you, control questions. Okay,
- 44:00Speaker 2: all right, I want you to just tell me. You know,
- 44:04Speaker 2: Direct Access they offer you these incredible loan opportunities. You know,
- 44:08Speaker 2: and I mean those loans are wonderful. And I asked you, like, hey,
- 44:11Speaker 2: what do you need a loan for? What was your
- 44:13Speaker 2: reason for a loan?
- 44:15Speaker 4: Well?
- 44:15Speaker 7: My reason is I over the last couple of years,
- 44:20Speaker 7: my mom has really been in an out of hospital
- 44:23Speaker 7: with a fiber amalgia, and it's it's been a bit
- 44:26Speaker 7: heavior on me financially seeing that I'm a doctor and
- 44:30Speaker 7: my gorgeous baby. So I just needed a little bit
- 44:35Speaker 7: of a relief financially and also just you know, take
- 44:38Speaker 7: a leader. So yeah, it's I'm getting a bit emotional,
- 44:43Speaker 7: but yeah.
- 44:45Speaker 2: That's you're human. You must get emotional about these things
- 44:49Speaker 2: because they matter. So don't worry. And and I think
- 44:53Speaker 2: when a family member goes in and out of hospital
- 44:55Speaker 2: like that, it's just there's always that insecurity in your mind.
- 44:59Speaker 2: Plus you need to be a security point for your
- 45:02Speaker 2: family too, So now you're dealing with security that you
- 45:06Speaker 2: have to be an insecurity that you have to feel.
- 45:08Speaker 2: It's just it's not liquor. And it's like the clash
- 45:10Speaker 2: of those two opposing emotions. But take a deep breath.
- 45:15Speaker 2: I think you're doing a great job holding it together.
- 45:18Speaker 2: But don't worry. You don't have to hold it together
- 45:20Speaker 2: all the time. That's why we have moments like this
- 45:24Speaker 2: where we can escape for a second. You can be
- 45:25Speaker 2: on live radio and we can do a little quiz.
- 45:28Speaker 2: I have a quiz in front of me. I have
- 45:29Speaker 2: three questions each. Each question is worth a thousand bucks
- 45:33Speaker 2: A correct answer, that is, if you get all three right,
- 45:35Speaker 2: I'm gonna add an extra two thousand bucks, making it
- 45:37Speaker 2: a five thousand rand quiz. And then I've got another
- 45:39Speaker 2: question for you. Heybrey, let's get into this quiz. It's
- 45:42Speaker 2: true or false. Here's the first one. You need a
- 45:45Speaker 2: monthly income of at least five thousand rand to apply
- 45:48Speaker 2: for a direct access loan. True or false? Twoe yes,
- 45:56Speaker 2: a thousand bucks in the back pocket. Question number two.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Direct access loans can only be used for home renovations
- 46:06Speaker 2: two thousand rand. Question number three. You must have a
- 46:10Speaker 2: good credit record to be considered for a direct access loan.
- 46:18Speaker 2: You must have a good credit record to be considered
- 46:21Speaker 2: for a direct access loan. A good credit record taking
- 46:24Speaker 2: out a loan? Is that true? Yes? True? Three thousand
- 46:30Speaker 2: rand plus a two thousand rand bonus five thousand rare
- 46:36Speaker 2: hy bring you doing so well? Have you taken out
- 46:39Speaker 2: a loan on direct access over the past ninety days?
- 46:41Speaker 2: By the way, no, I haven't. Well, you still got
- 46:45Speaker 2: something that's not alone. That's five thousand rand in your
- 46:48Speaker 2: back pocket. Congratulations, thank you, and yeah, it means a lot.
- 46:55Speaker 2: Well done for holding it together, but remember you need
- 46:58Speaker 2: time to also not hold it together, time for yourself,
- 47:02Speaker 2: take it. You can have a cry break, yes, So
- 47:06Speaker 2: maybe this cash can be used for just a little break,
- 47:09Speaker 2: escape a bit. You know, we've got a lot of
- 47:11Speaker 2: the accommodation places all over the Western Cape are discounted
- 47:14Speaker 2: now because we're getting into winter months. So maybe you
- 47:16Speaker 2: want to take a trip somewhere with a fire, somebody
- 47:20Speaker 2: special in your life and just like take a breather
- 47:22Speaker 2: and just take stock, maybe take a book with you,
- 47:25Speaker 2: or just sit in silence and just say you know
- 47:26Speaker 2: it's going to be okay.
- 47:28Speaker 7: You know, you know, I think I would have like, yeah,
- 47:31Speaker 7: I been ideol like.
- 47:34Speaker 9: Yeah your goals, yeah, all right, so I think a
- 47:40Speaker 9: nice girl.
- 47:41Speaker 2: Yes, oh please. Gulcations are amazing, you must and that's
- 47:46Speaker 2: where you get a chance to just say, hey, you know,
- 47:48Speaker 2: I'm not alone in this. I'm not alone in what
- 47:49Speaker 2: I'm dealing with. And that's so important for whatever you're
- 47:52Speaker 2: going through right now. Just as long as you know
- 47:54Speaker 2: you're not alone, okay, not ever enjoy your five thousand
- 47:59Speaker 2: man thanks ying hybridy all the best. And that's how
- 48:02Speaker 2: easy it is to win with direct access so remember
- 48:05Speaker 2: if you have taken out a learn over the past
- 48:07Speaker 2: ninety days, I double your winnings, so that could have
- 48:09Speaker 2: been a ten thousand rand go. So consider that when
- 48:12Speaker 2: you are playing this game, remember there is there WhatsApp
- 48:15Speaker 2: line number zero double six zero five zero six eight
- 48:18Speaker 2: three zero. Keep it handy for a win tomorrow. That
