Transcript
- Sue: It's Friday afternoon, fifteen ten, on September fourth, and I'm recording the event that just happened, which was r receiving an incoming phone call from New York City Health and Hospitals, Jacobee Medical Center, in the Bronx of New York. It was a eight minute and forty five second phone call and to be clear, I wouldn't have ordinarily picked up a number The even if it was a hospital, except that I know there's always the chance that somebody I know may have ended up in the hospital and was calling from one of their phones. But on the other end of the line was the voice of someone who was really going through it. From the side of their testimony, it sounded to me as though they were there in the hospital being treated for some mental issues. The kind where they may have been committed there without them volunteering to receive the help. They told me how broken they felt, that everything in their material life had been taken away. This is their testimony. I have no way to verify it. I'm just relating the experience. They weren't self harming as far as I'm I am not a medical health or mental health professional at all. But the energy that I read in in terms of my ability to interpret Phone energy was that they were broken. Maybe a bit physically, emotionally, spiritually. Certainly not feeling strong enough to stand up and walk away, either, mentally, spiritually. At the beginning of the call, he was just saying that he was randomly dialing numbers in hopes of talking to somebody. Or rather that somebody was gonna listen to his testimony. And then about eight minutes towards the end of the call, he asked me for my number. Which of course I didn't give to him. I said, Well you dialed it. You certainly you probably have access to to the redial function of w of your phone. But there it is. I don't think I've ever gotten a phone call like that in my life. And it's brought me to a very raw place emotionally at the moment. Because if one person did that, surely there are others doing it. And being in a place where you have no control over yourself has got to be the worst place ever to be. In life. Whether it's self-inflicted or not, it doesn't matter. The fact that you've lost the sense of being able to control every little decision for yourself is a horrible feeling. In my own way, I've experienced that point in my life. Confirmation with my Fire TV reboot. I certainly didn't anticipate that this would affect me in this way, other than it's a reminder that when you have air on your lungs, you have hope. And if you have the ability to observe Everything around you in a way that you non-react and can start putting yourself together to remove yourself from the place that you don't want to be. As alone as you might feel in that task, you're not alone. You have everything that it takes within you to get out of the place that you're in that you know you don't belong and know that there are energies all around you that want to see you crush. They're energies that want to see you without anything attached to you. They want to see you get upset and be enraged about your situation, but you're not gonna give them that. You're gonna give them love instead. Because those are the people that are hurting. The ones who sought to take everything away from you couldn't take your life force, your unconditional love. They want that. So they'll take everything else around you in hopes that you'll just give up. No, you got air in your lungs. You've got your life force. That's the place to start rebuilding and know that even though you're having to do it alone, you're not alone. I see you. I heard you. You control you. And it gets difficult each and every day. But you get better at it. 'Cause in the end, everything you do you have to forgive yourself first. That's where the love gets deepest. That's where your biggest strength is. So whomever it was on the phone. at the Jacobee Medical Centre in the Bronx that phoned today. Thank you. Thank you for listening. And thank you, most of all, for giving of yourself. I feel you.
