Speaker 1: play a part. An important part in the body of Christ. Amen.

Speaker 1: Everyone counts. Everyone counts, every one of us, every single

Speaker 1: one of us counts. And we could do something for

Speaker 1: the glory of God because we're connected in the body

Speaker 1: know your role, pastors alongside other leaders are entrusted with

Speaker 1: the responsibility of teaching and guiding the church and understanding

Speaker 1: word of God. Allows me to see what my role is,

Speaker 1: what the pastor's role is. Amen. And when we do

Speaker 1: come together alongside each other to do what God calls

Speaker 1: living out the New Covenant realities of grace and truth,

Speaker 1: we are unstoppable. Amen. We are now inspired by Holy

Speaker 1: Peter Chapter five, verses one and three and asks Chapter twenty,

Speaker 1: understanding that God wants us to get this morning about

Speaker 1: knowing your role. You play your part, I play my part.

Speaker 1: God does what he does through us. Amen. Unstoppable. We

Speaker 1: give the devil a headache. Amen. He doesn't want us

Speaker 1: to be together. He doesn't want us to be united.

Speaker 1: That's the whole idea, right. The devil comes to kill

Speaker 1: still and destroy it, and God came to give us

Speaker 1: life and life and abundance. So if we know our

Speaker 1: role in the church, and we know our role in

Speaker 1: the community, we know our role in the family of God,

Speaker 1: that we are already bypassing what the enemy's trying to do. Right.

Speaker 1: He wants us to be divided. God wants us to

Speaker 1: be united. Amen. So there's a difference, and there's a

Speaker 1: battle going on, and we win. The war's already won. Right,

Speaker 1: And some of us don't have documents to say they're

Speaker 1: citizens of the United States. But when you're born again,

Speaker 1: we have papers that are signed, sealed, and delivered a

Speaker 1: man or by holy ghosts, and we are citizens of Heaven,

Speaker 1: regardless of what kind of documents are undocumented things that

Speaker 1: are going on in our lives, right, So first and

Speaker 1: foremost we are united in Christ for the purposes of

Speaker 1: God throughout the earth a man. And when when unite,

Speaker 1: we give the devil a headache. He wants us to

Speaker 1: be divided. So let's not fall for it. Let's go

Speaker 1: for what God wants us to do, and then put

Speaker 1: the devil to the side. The Bible says, submit to God,

Speaker 1: resist the devil. Right, and what happens to the devil,

Speaker 1: he will flee, he will leave, he will run because

Speaker 1: he won't have any power, any stronghold, any foothold in

Speaker 1: my life and in your life. So let's pray. Father,

Speaker 1: I thank you so much that you are the lifegiver.

Speaker 1: Thank you, Lord God, that you place all order, all

Speaker 1: authority in place for your purpose, for your plan for

Speaker 1: this earth. For such a time as this. You have

Speaker 1: united us in faith, knowing that you can do mighty

Speaker 1: things through a united body. You could do mighty things

Speaker 1: to a family, a community, a church by empowered by

Speaker 1: your Holy Spirit. And we know we have the power

Speaker 1: and authority because your word says we have it all. God,

Speaker 1: help us to know our roles and what we need

Speaker 1: to do and our part to play and this thing

Speaker 1: that we call life. And I pray, Lord God, I

Speaker 1: had your protection that you would guard us, guide us,

Speaker 1: protect us, keep us safe, Lord God, as we navigate

Speaker 1: this life, and we know that this world is falling.

Speaker 1: We know that this world doesn't like your message. As

Speaker 1: a matter of fact, the world is being directed by

Speaker 1: the spirit of Antichrist, does not want your word to

Speaker 1: expand to grow throughout all the earth. But we resist that.

Speaker 1: We move forward anyway. And we are the called out ones.

Speaker 1: We are the Church, we are the Body, and we

Speaker 1: are united by your power, by your love, by your grace,

Speaker 1: by your mercy. Thank you, lo God for doing what

Speaker 1: you do continuously. So I speak life, I set and

Speaker 1: dispatch angels right now by the authority and power of

Speaker 1: your holy name, Jesus, that they will go about saving, rescuing, positioning, directing, guiding,

Speaker 1: be saved. Your sons and daughters. Thank you, Lord Jesus,

Speaker 1: scriptures today, a man, so it's like a bonus round, right.

Speaker 1: We got two scriptures that I want to focus on

Speaker 1: today this morning and devote this time to the Lord.

Speaker 1: Have him speak, a man, the beautiful thing about our God.

Speaker 1: He's alive in our hearts and our minds. Amen. And

Speaker 1: when we ask of him to do something or we

Speaker 1: pray to him, he responds, He's not a god who's

Speaker 1: silent all the time a man. Sometimes he's silent in

Speaker 1: my life. Would about you, It seems like he's silent.

Speaker 1: Part of his lesson to me sometimes is quietness. He

Speaker 1: wants to He wants me to be quiet sometimes. Amen,

Speaker 1: really focus on him, because he's the perfector of my faith,

Speaker 1: It's an amazing powerful message and a way to live

Speaker 1: your life knowing what your role is, what you play,

Speaker 1: what you bring to the table. Amen. And God will

Speaker 1: really show us first Peter Chapter five, verses one in three,

Speaker 1: the Bible says, therefore I strongly urge the elders among you,

Speaker 1: or the elders among you, So the pastors, spiritual leaders

Speaker 1: of the church, that, as a fellow elder and as

Speaker 1: an eyewitness, called to testify of the sufferings of Christ,

Speaker 1: as well as one who shares in the glory that

Speaker 1: is to be revealed, shepherd and guide and protect the

Speaker 1: flock of God among you. That again shepherd and goide

Speaker 1: and protect the flock of God among you, exercising oversight,

Speaker 1: not under compulsion, but voluntarily according to the will of God.

Speaker 1: And yesterday, from the time it's recording, we sort of

Speaker 1: will of God right, one of the God's wills over

Speaker 1: our lives. You can check it out for yourself, and

Speaker 1: not motivated for shameful gain, but with wholehearted enthusiasm, not

Speaker 1: lording it over those assigned to your care. As God

Speaker 1: puts people in your place, Amen, to care for, not

Speaker 1: for you to lord all these people. Right, God assigned

Speaker 1: these people for us to take care of. Do not

Speaker 1: be arrogant or overbearing, but be examples of Christian living

Speaker 1: to the flock. Set a pattern of integrity for your congregation.

Speaker 1: That's the role of a leader in the church. That's

Speaker 1: the role of a pastor of a church. Amen. And

Speaker 1: we see it right here in the scripture through the

Speaker 1: apostle Peter. Amen, since the joys, good morning, Amen, and group.

Speaker 1: Blessings to all in Jesus name. Blessings to you as well,

Speaker 1: my system and my friend. So this is something for pastors,

Speaker 1: spiritual leaders of the church right to know the role

Speaker 1: know your role. We know our role. Amen. When we

Speaker 1: come together, when we come alongside the pastor the leader man,

Speaker 1: things start happening inside that church body, inside that community
11:46
Speaker 1: that only God knows. But it's going to benefit every
11:50
Speaker 1: single one of us, not just one person, not just
11:52
Speaker 1: a select amount of people in leadership, but the whole
11:56
Speaker 1: congregation will be blessed when we are the examples of

Speaker 1: Christian living. People want to see how this life has

Speaker 1: lived out. I got saved by watching two brothers in Christ,

Speaker 1: two blood brothers, but they were brothers in Christ before

Speaker 1: I got saved. I was watching their lives for three years,

Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. I wanted to know what was the difference,

Speaker 1: what was the benefits, well with the downfalls, well with
12:19
Speaker 1: the pros over the cons and I studied them out.

Speaker 1: I'll listened to them. But I resisted the God's message
12:25
Speaker 1: for three years. And so I came down to a

Speaker 1: point where I said, you know what, I did everything

Speaker 1: the world offered. I'm drained right. The world lied to me.

Speaker 1: The world system doesn't work. So I said, let me

Speaker 1: try out the God that these brothers serve. That was

Speaker 1: way back in two thousand and one. The rest is

Speaker 1: being written. The rest is History Acts, chapter twenty verses

Speaker 1: twenty eight to thirty says like this, keep watch over

Speaker 1: yoursels and the entire flock of which the Holy Spirit

Speaker 1: has made you overseeers. You see another assigned role by God,

Speaker 1: be shepherds of the Church of God, which he purchased

Speaker 1: with his own blood. Whose church is after all, it's

Speaker 1: the Church of God whose blood was shed, Jesus' blood

Speaker 1: was shed. So this is a great, big, honoring responsibility

Speaker 1: to watch over the entire flock of which the Holy

Speaker 1: Spirit has made you overseeers. Not man, not a denomination,

Speaker 1: definitely not yourself. If somebody wants to puff themselves up

Speaker 1: and say I'm the leader here and I do this,

Speaker 1: and I do that, I see though, these radical and

Speaker 1: rogue preachers online all the time, kicking people out of

Speaker 1: their church and telling people if you want this pulpit,

Speaker 1: there's only one leader here. And they're so arrogant, they're
13:57
Speaker 1: so demanding, they're so commanding, and they're forcing their leadership.

Speaker 1: They're lording it over the people, which Apostle Peter just

Speaker 1: said not to do that, because we're giving people in

Speaker 1: our lives. God assigns us to souls a man to

Speaker 1: protect the entire flock. The Bible says, be shepherds of

Speaker 1: the Church of God, which he purchased with his own blood.

Speaker 1: Jesus is God and he uses own blood to purchase

Speaker 1: the church. This is amazing. Man, know your role. When

Speaker 1: you know your role a man, you will live. Your

Speaker 1: Christian living will be next level a man, and people

Speaker 1: won't be able to deny the fact that God is

Speaker 1: doing amazing work. A man threw you in you because

Speaker 1: of what he has done his own blood. He shed

Speaker 1: his own blood so that way we can live. So

Speaker 1: when you know your role and you play your role

Speaker 1: and you know your worth, they know who you are

Speaker 1: in Christ. The enemy won't be able to trip you up.

Speaker 1: The Church will not be divided, Amen. The Church will

Speaker 1: be united the way we're supposed to be united. Amen.

Speaker 1: So in the New Testament we saw those two scriptures.

Speaker 1: Just based on those two scriptures that we just read

Speaker 1: and the New Testament, the role of a pastor is

Speaker 1: often associated with shepherding and guiding the congregation. Right, and

Speaker 1: you only could guide the way God wants you to

Speaker 1: God being guided yourself. We can only lead if we

Speaker 1: allow Holy Spirit to lead us. I mean, if you

Speaker 1: can lead without Holy Spirit, but I guarantee the church,

Speaker 1: your community or whatever is going to be rogue and crazy,

Speaker 1: and it's gonna be not in order. It's gonna be

Speaker 1: out of order. But when you allow Holy Spirit to

Speaker 1: lead and guide, he's the one who's assigning these people

Speaker 1: to your guidance. He's the one that's assigning the people

Speaker 1: to your community. He's the one who's bringing people to

Speaker 1: your church. So when we take our role seriously, Amen,

Speaker 1: and we know that we could trust God, We're not

Speaker 1: gonna have all the answers. I can guarantee you that

Speaker 1: you're not gonna have all the answers. I'm not gonna

Speaker 1: have all the answers. But together we go to God

Speaker 1: and He will give us the answers amn to what

Speaker 1: we need to do, how we need to do it.

Speaker 1: The inspiration Holy Spirit will containue to guide us and

Speaker 1: walk us through day by day, step by step, individual

Speaker 1: by individual, case by case, scenario situations, live and direct

Speaker 1: from Holy Spirit. It's important to note that leadership within

Speaker 1: the church is a shared responsibility. It's not about one person,

Speaker 1: one family, one leader, one leadership. It's about the role

Speaker 1: knowing the role that we all play and when we

Speaker 1: come together. The church is a shared responsibility. Come on,

Speaker 1: if we get this man next level. You probably don't

Speaker 1: You have a community though, you go together, you pray,

Speaker 1: you have Bible studies, you come to the one in DeVos,

Speaker 1: you hang out together, break bread in each other's homes. Amen.

Speaker 1: You're congregating, Amen, and you can make that if Jesus

Speaker 1: is invited and Holy Spirit is assigning the people to you. Amen,

Speaker 1: you are the church. Remember that it's not about the building,

Speaker 1: although I believe buildings are necessary to house, shelter, help.

Speaker 1: It's like a church, spiritual church, Amen, a spiritual hospital,

Speaker 1: excuse me, a spiritual hospital to help those who are wounded,

Speaker 1: help them heal, help them discover the identity in Christ.

Speaker 1: People get saved, baptized. Amen. They grow in the knowledge

Speaker 1: and wisdom and understanding of who God is by going

Speaker 1: and hearing the preachings, applying the preaching, applying the word

Speaker 1: in your life and over life. But it's a shared responsibility, right.

Speaker 1: No one gets left behind. When you come to my house,

Speaker 1: I welcome people. It should be the same way when

Speaker 1: you go to the House of God, you should feel welcomed.

Speaker 1: A lot of people are afraid to go into church

Speaker 1: buildings because the past experiences of some traditions and some

Speaker 1: religious things and some just radical things that other churches do.

Speaker 1: And they keep people out by doing the traditions. They

Speaker 1: keep people out by following laws, rules and regulations that

Speaker 1: God actually tells us in Hebrews that we're no longer

Speaker 1: under a man is someone to preach. I just want

Speaker 1: to keep on on top of here. We are brothers.

Speaker 1: We are our brother's keepers, keeping them in prayer, in

Speaker 1: line of His word and love. Yes, yes, you see me.

Speaker 1: I know Sister Joyce will tell me something. If Sister

Speaker 1: Joyce sees me acting a fool or acting crazy, she'll

Speaker 1: do it politely because a spirit is a polite spirit

Speaker 1: and man. But she knows the word. She will probably

Speaker 1: take me to the side and let me have it

Speaker 1: in love and let me know that I'm going wrong,

Speaker 1: down when they're down. I don't kick them while they're down. Amen.

Speaker 1: I know what that is. People have done that to

Speaker 1: me when I was a younger Christian and it's not

Speaker 1: a good time. Amen. Instead of helping me up, they

Speaker 1: used to kick me down because they thought I would

Speaker 1: know better. A lot of people thought I was a

Speaker 1: Christian all my life. A lot of people thought I

Speaker 1: was raised in church, but I wasn't. I just got

Speaker 1: saved at a late age. I got saved that thirty

Speaker 1: years old, and people thought because I was thirty that,

Speaker 1: oh man, you should have known better. You know how

Speaker 1: long you've been saved? And when I say to tell

Speaker 1: people year, they so look at me like what Because

Speaker 1: God did something in my life? Amen, he did something

Speaker 1: in your life? Right? And after that, we just going

Speaker 1: everybody else. But we start from somewhere. But leadership is

Speaker 1: First Peter chapter five Versus two and three. Right, the

Speaker 1: elders are on courage to shepherd the flock willingly, willingly,

Speaker 1: not grudgingly, not under compulsion, not because they have to,

Speaker 1: not because or If I don't go, then nothing's gonna go. Right,

Speaker 1: that's arrogance. If I don't show up by the Bob study,

Speaker 1: if I don't show up at I do discipleship classes. Amen,

Speaker 1: I'm a part of the discipleship class. I want to

Speaker 1: people out. If I don't show up, they're gonna do great.

Speaker 1: a model of leadership that is more about serving and

Speaker 1: guiding rather than exerting authority. I'm so and so, I'm

Speaker 1: not the way to do it. The world doesn't like that.

Speaker 1: Corporate America doesn't like that. The government. Worldly government doesn't

Speaker 1: like that we're different. We're the called out ones where

Speaker 1: the ecclasy and we're the church. We do things according

Speaker 1: to how Holy Spirit wants us to do it and

Speaker 1: when the world sees how we move and how we

Speaker 1: operate and how we share the responsibilities. No pastor right

Speaker 1: now should be stressed out. In the name of Jesus,

Speaker 1: don't be stressed out. You have leaders around you. Share

Speaker 1: the responsibility. Trust the responsibility that you're sharing with other leaders.

Speaker 1: Trust them to be inspired by the same Holy Spirit

Speaker 1: that you're moving in. Trust them now. If they go

Speaker 1: a little rogue, then you come in, take them to

Speaker 1: side and correct it. But if you are surrounding yourself

Speaker 1: by a great cloud of witnesses inspired filled with Holy

Speaker 1: Spirit God a man, let them know their role. You

Speaker 1: know your role. Unless share the responsibility to move it together.

Speaker 1: A leader, one leader, two leaders, a family, a pastoral

Speaker 1: family should not be stressed out doing every single thing.

Speaker 1: And then after a while, I would think you would

Speaker 1: be kind of like upset at the church because you

Speaker 1: feel like you're doing everything and if you don't do this,

Speaker 1: nothing happens. Amen. If the passa doesn't show up to

Speaker 1: an event, the leaders don't show up to event. It

Speaker 1: shouldn't be like that. It should be the past to
