Minnesota Ticket Doubles Up, Powerball jackpot climbs to $600M, Mega Millions reaches $403M · The Lottery Rundown: Powerball & Mega Millions Results, Trends and News

Minnesota Ticket Doubles Up! Here's your Lottery Rundown for Thursday October 15th Powerball drew Wednesday night with 3, 34, 37, 42 and 46, plus Powerball 20 and a three-times multiplier. Nobody claimed the jackpot, but one lucky Minnesota ticket holder matched the five white balls for a 2 million dollar payday. Thirty-four returned after 53 drawings away. That is less a vacation than a witness-protection arrangement. Thirty-seven is tied for third among the most-drawn white balls over the past six years, appearing 78 times. Do you think 37 enjoys being on the VIP list? Saturday’s estimated jackpot is 600 million dollars, with a cash value of 246 million dollars. That could finance a lunar sandwich chain where every delivery arrives by tiny rocket only two days late. Moving to Mega Millions, the last draw was Tuesday, October 13, with 11, 12, 15, 40 and 66, plus Mega Ball 17, and no ticket matched all six. Eleven resurfaced after 58 drawings away, while 66 ranks among the five most-drawn white balls over the past six years, with 55 appearances. Tonight’s estimated jackpot is 403 million dollars, with a cash value of 162 million 100 thousand dollars. The jackpot has now gone 22 drawings and 77 days without a winner, a longer stretch than average but still well within the game’s usual range.
