Bread, eggs, cinnamon and heat. Simple ingredients become
• 0:20
something better. French toast is the ultimate
• 0:23
feel good breakfast food. And with that, let's jump
• 0:28
straight into today's quote from LM Montgomery, who once wrote
• 0:35
The nicest days are not those on which anything splendid or
• 0:38
wonderful happens, but those that bring simple little
• 0:42
pleasures following one another softly, like pearls slipping off
• 0:47
a string. French toast proves this is
• 0:52
  true. Nothing fancy, no exotic
• 0:55
ingredients, just ordinary things transformed by attention.
• 0:59
The best mornings aren't spectacular, They're simple.
• 1:03
Hot coffee, golden toast and Maple syrup pooling in the
• 1:08
ridges, pearls on a string. So today, notice the simple
• 1:15
pleasures, the ordinary moments. String them together.
• 1:20
Make French toast if you want, or just pay attention to the
• 1:23
small things that make a good day.
• 1:26
Because Montgomery was right. The best days are simple ones.
• 1:32
