- 0:01It's time, baby, It is time. We've all been waiting. Time
- 0:05for some hypothetical situations, a little game of call. What do you do?
- 0:11Man? Amanda? You ready for this? You are spending a typical
- 0:15afternoon donating in plasma and before you leave this eight, hey, Pike,
- 0:21instead of giving you money today, we're going to give you an option.
- 0:26You can choose anybody in the world to become friends with, or we're just
- 0:32gonna give you forty bucks. So, Pike, anybody in the world to
- 0:39be friends with? Yeah? Or forty bucks? Yeah, what do you
- 0:44do? Obviously my first donation of the week. I mean I think I
- 0:49would, you know, Amanda's not the forty dollars, it's the lives I
- 0:52save. Yeah, donating plasma? I know. I guess I'd be friends
- 0:56with somebody. Who would it be, you know, if I'm being honest.
- 0:58Probably Tom Along from Blank Win eighty two. Okay, yeah, interesting,
- 1:03Not Travis Barker huh no of the band. Obviously, Travis bark is
- 1:07probably the most famous to just your average person. But Tom and Mark,
- 1:11the other two are much better personalities than Travis. Two of the funniest guys.
- 1:15All Right, all right, you're at a fast food restaurant drive through.
- 1:21You just swung in quick to order two roast beef sandwiches. Why are
- 1:23you doing this to me? I didn't stop yesterday and I've been craving a
- 1:26roast beef. Oh sorry, I didn't finish the order. I know,
- 1:30two roast beef sandwiches without the bun mm hmmm. When you get so it's
- 1:34a pile of roast beef. So good. When you get up to the
- 1:37window to pay, the employee has good news. The person in front of
- 1:42you has offered to pay for your entire order. That's so odden, all
- 1:46seven dollars of it. Then they say to you, Amanda, well it
- 1:49is customary that you will pay for the order behind you now. And you
- 1:53say, oh, yeah, I've heard of that. Okay, interesting,
- 1:56Well how much is the order behind me? They say it is twenty five
- 2:00dollars? Okay, so Amanda, well been there twenty five What do you
- 2:10do? Honestly, probably just going to go ahead with it. That's a
- 2:15typical order anywhere fast food these days. Twenty five dollars and you have two
- 2:20kids and a husband. Yeah, yeah, there's yeah, of course,
- 2:23yeah, but it's not in this case, it's eighteen dollars more than what
- 2:25you would order. Yep. I'm probably gonna go ahead and say yes,
- 2:29just to keep paying it forward. I don't want to be that person who
- 2:30doesn't Nobody would ever know though, you know what I mean, the person
- 2:34behind is not like this employee, and maybe they would. I don't mean
- 2:37I don't know. Just so you know there was a line going to pay
- 2:39it forward, it stopped at the car in front of you. Oh you
- 2:44want to know their personal information? I know it was that girl from the
- 2:46radio, Amanda Lee. I would just I would feel better just knowing,
- 2:50like, hey, I kept it going, that's going to stick with you,
- 2:53that you're the one who just shut her down. No, it's not
- 2:55that I wouldn't care a bit. Really, those things are stupid for that
- 2:59reason. Oh man. By the way, live on Facebook, good morning
- 3:00to Candice. She says Happy Friday and just throwing it in my face she
- 3:05just had ARB's yum my gosh. Not to mention those lines was paid forwards.
- 3:09It's a real hassle for the employee and they're getting nothing out of it,
- 3:14is it really? Yeah, So if you're going to pay it forward,
- 3:15like just give them a few bucks. You know, can they take
- 3:17tips? I guess I've never even known. Oh anybody can take a tip?
- 3:22Really through the fast food I didn't know if you could or not.
- 3:23Well, you don't have it on the receipt line, but you can give
- 3:25him a few bucks or coins. All right, abandon your kids call it
- 3:30hey, hey, easy? But was it your turn? Sorry? I
- 3:34got a little distracted. All right, word got out. You completed thirty
- 3:39days of no drinking. So proud of you. By the way, Pike,
- 3:44this is really just a chance for me to honor that's where it ended.
- 3:46Obviously, can be happy Hour last night. Well, that's funny,
- 3:49you should bring that up. A sweet little genie just happened to pop over
- 3:52to happy another genie. Huh, here we go pop over to happy hour
- 3:55last night and said, Pike, you're such a wrong willed man, and
- 4:01I'd like to give you fifty thousand dollars if you can go three months no
- 4:10shaving, no brushing your teeth or using deodorant. Fifty k three months.
- 4:15So Pipe, Yeah, I'm not eving, gonna wait for the music thing.
- 4:20Yeah, don't break the rules. Sorry, what do you do?
- 4:26Yeah, that's gonna be the fifty grand that is not gonna be easy.
- 4:30No shaving, no deodorant, and no brushing your teeth, no shaving,
- 4:36like whatever, look at me right now. This is now like keeping a
- 4:40tight beard by any means. So whatever, it just grow a beard in
- 4:43three months. Okay, uh no, what was the other one? Brushing
- 4:46my teeth? You know whatever, I'll just too gum. Oh. I
- 4:49know people who don't brush their teeth really ever and it's fine, Like,
- 4:51what do you you know people that don't brush their teeth ever? Well,
- 4:55we work with one James in the afternoon. He admits to basically never brushing
- 4:59his teeth. And you know what, the sick thing is his teeth.
- 5:01I miss this. He talks about it all the time. And deodorant.
- 5:05I was using natural deodorant for the last like two years, which is basically
- 5:10equivalent to not using deodorant. So that's the easiest fifty k I'll ever make.
- 5:15And that's a summ of money that can really get you ahead. All
- 5:16right, Well, live on Facebook. We've got Candace and show me the
- 5:19money. So she is with you. We've got a good morning to Wendy.
- 5:24Karen shout out from Wisconsin and Janet says she always pays it forward.
- 5:28Oh nice, Janet, that's cool. Unlike would you wouldn't do it the
- 5:31old deodorant thing. I don't think I could. I don't think I could
- 5:34go three days. Okay, So your kids are gonna have to take out
- 5:38loans to go to college, knowing that their mom could have had it paid
- 5:41for, but she wanted to wear deodorant for a few months, brushing the
- 5:44teeth there. I just I couldn't do it. I could not do it
- 5:47three months. This is revealing more about you than it is about me.
- 5:49I'll tell you that it's not all right, Amanda. Your kids speaking of
- 5:53the devils. Your kids come home from school one day and they say,
- 5:59Mom, there's a little boy at school who told us that they heard that
- 6:03our mom is a dumb dumb and it gets worse. Oh no, a
- 6:09poopyad that's what they heard, now, Amanda. Funny thing is you know
- 6:13this little boy's mom. You've chatted with her at a few school functions and
- 6:17she kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Now this so, Amanda,
- 6:26a dumb, dumb and a poopy ad. Where are they getting that?
- 6:29Intel? Oh man, what do you do laugh about it, ignore it,
- 6:34and uh, just have my eyes on this kid. It pick up
- 6:39all the time, and I'm like Kim about Little Life doing the slow drive
- 6:43by locking in the eye gangster stuff. Dude, Like I've got my eyeballs
- 6:48on you, buddy. Uh uh huh Like Amanda in the morning, big
- 6:53naty eight point seven trend. Now here's what you need to know. Well,
- 6:59from the look of it. On social media, Vikings fans are happy.
- 7:02I've seen a lot of posts like JJ to JJ super bold bound baby
- 7:09boy. I haven't seen him this excited since they drafted Christian Ponder. Oh
- 7:13wow, I'm just saying never. I mean, I get it's exciting.
- 7:15Well, you have no other option. Who cares? You don't know?
- 7:17He was a very good college quarterback, you know, but that doesn't always
- 7:19mean they're going to turn out. Well. Well, we will see what
- 7:21happens. Vikings took Michigan quarterback JJ McCarthy in the tenth overall pick and NFL
- 7:27Draft last night, moving up one spot in the trade with the Jets to
- 7:30make sure that they did not miss out on that pick. The Vikings then
- 7:33made a bigger jump later in the first round from number twenty three to number
- 7:36seventeen in a swap with a Jaguires to select Alabama edge rusher Dallas Turner.
- 7:43I mean the Packers drafted a offensive lineman. Did you put that in the
- 7:45story? No? Yeah, big deal, big deal? Yeah? Who
- 7:49was it? I forget his name, but he's an offensive lineman all right?
- 7:53Speaking of sports, Tiger Woods fifteen year old sun Charlie. Did you
- 7:57see this? He's attempting to qualify for the US Open. Five golf are
- 8:00expected to advance and be able to play in the US Open in June.
- 8:03Tiger Woods is not yet listed, but he is expected to receive some sort
- 8:07of special exemption to be a part of it. So am I understanding this?
- 8:11Right? They would both be playing then, like the Wow, Yeah,
- 8:13Charlie's not gonna make it. I mean he's like good because how old
- 8:16is he? Sorry? Kid? Like he's a very good fifteen year old
- 8:20player. He's not the best fifteen year old. So like, yeah,
- 8:22good for you for a try. And it's just another tournament to me.
- 8:24It's a non story. Unless he shocks the world and makes it, we'll
- 8:28see. Wow. I'm just saying he's not yet, all right, He's
- 8:31just not. He might develop into I think we can rule out he's not
- 8:35going to be his dad, but he might be a might make the PGA.
- 8:37We'll see b D as the kids would say, or mid. Would
- 8:41mid be the right word for that? Well, if he was mid,
- 8:43he'd be mid all right. Dominos Pizza is launching a new promo. It's
- 8:46called You Tip, We Tip. It starts April twenty ninth, and it's
- 8:50designed to encourage and reward customers who tip their delivery drivers. I love this.
- 8:54Customers who tip their delivery drivers say three bucks or more on their online
- 8:58platform, They're gonna get a three or cupon right back to use towards an
- 9:01online purchase. One time, I had a pizza show up really late.
- 9:05It was like one of those deals where we ordered it after the bar closed
- 9:07and then four am came around the pizza still wasn't there, So would you
- 9:11fall asleep dinner? No. I was in a rage, just staying awake
- 9:15until I pizza came. And finally the guy showed up and I was so
- 9:18mad. I tipped him zero dollars and I felt so bad afterward because I'm
- 9:24like, you know, I thought about it next morning, wake up,
- 9:26I'm like, did you really Yeah? It was. I literally I got
- 9:28like tiary I thinking about how mean I was about it, because I mean
- 9:31I didn't say anything mean. I just like the receipt where the tip line
- 9:35is I very aggressive dash. And so the next day I woke up and
- 9:39just felt so bad because it wasn't his fault. And you know, I
- 9:43called the rest the pizza place and they told me, they're like, well,
- 9:46you know, we don't know what to tell you. Like this guy,
- 9:48whatever his name was, we'll call him John. John's like one of
- 9:50our best guys. And I thought about it. I'm like, man,
- 9:54here's John who's made a name for himself as being one of the best delivery
- 9:58guys. He's a fifty six year old man, but he's out there just
- 10:01killing it, and it's probably not his fault that the pizza is so late.
- 10:05So I just felt like an idiots around like the edge of our seat
- 10:07right now, really hoping you make this song. I got a twenty dollar
- 10:11bill out of the ATM and I went to there the next day and I
- 10:13said, hey, is John here? And they said, no, John's
- 10:16not here, And I said, well, when he gets here, you
- 10:18give him this and tell him I'm sorry. He'll know who it's from.
- 10:22Yeah, that's a true story. That's a true story. I felt so
- 10:26bad. Twenty dollar bill. Yeah, that's like probably the most you've ever
- 10:30tipped. That's a good that's a good tip. Well, it depends on
- 10:33the size of the bill. Yeah, No, I'm sure surely I've tipped
- 10:37more than that if it called for it. That's not that's what you got
- 10:41out of the story. I'm shot at me. I am so proud of
- 10:45you what I was. You know, I was not proud of my twenty
- 10:48dollar bill. No, I for sure think that somebody pocketed the kid.
- 10:52Work on the counter that day is like, oh, that's the easiest twenty
- 10:54bucks I ever made. Good job. So John probably still hates me.
- 10:58John, if you're out there listening, I forget what your actual name was,
- 11:01But I'm sorry this is starting to trigger you. It was Pike and
- 11:05you sorry. All right. Weather today gonna be windy, rainy, just
- 11:09really kind of gross the next few days, but starting to green up.
- 11:13Gonna be a high about fifty two. I could only wish that one of
- 11:16my coworkers would say, oh, he's one of our best guys. You
- 11:18know that that'd be a goal to have people say that about you. Do
- 11:22you do? Yeah? When you when you left for five minutes, it
- 11:26was like one of those oh my gosh, like really missed you. Wow.
- 11:30So I'm like the John you are of FM radio. Really yeah,
- 11:33And then we were like, hey, can you come back and look at
- 11:37what you did? It came back twenty dollars. Bill will get a guy
- 11:41to do just about anything. Hey, come sit down, come on,
- 11:46get over here. Take in a minute in the morning. Seven. Have
- 11:50you ever found something like in your food or something you've ordered from a restaurant?
- 11:54Because this woman have you seen this news? This this lady drinking a
- 11:58cup of coffee AuAl had the lid on it, Yeah, and she noticed
- 12:03something in her mouth. So she opens the lid. Oh gosh, there's
- 12:05a bunch of bugs in the coffee. Go yeah, this is is that
- 12:11something you wouldn't expect? And this is at an airport, all right,
- 12:13So the airport coffee, just getting ready to get on flight, realize that
- 12:16there's a bunch of these bugs. And so what happens next it will shock
- 12:22you. She didn't just get grossed out. She went into anaphylactic shock and
- 12:28is currently fighting for her life. What kind of bugs are these? Did
- 12:31you want to happier ending? I guess I was expecting her to, like
- 12:35have been upset through her coffee on somebody to spit out. But this is
- 12:37really scary. Yeah, they don't say what bugs they are, but they
- 12:41caused her face to swell up or throw it to narrow, had a hard
- 12:43time breathing. So she's been in the hospital for thirty six hours in the
- 12:48ICU. Oh my god, terrifying, terrifying. So that said, Amanda,
- 12:52you don't have to have nearly died. But if you ever found something
- 12:54in your food, if I find a piece of hair on anything regarding my
- 12:58food, I'm not pick it out and move on. I'm a I'm good.
- 13:01Thanks. Do you get them to bring you a new one? No?
- 13:03I do my best to. I hate being that person. Like,
- 13:07but if I'm paying for something, typically it's pretty obvious, like, oh,
- 13:11you didn't need it, like, ah, there was a little hair.
- 13:13Like I'll be honest with you if you ask why, the worst is
- 13:16honestly, I'd rather find it right away. There's nothing worse than getting in
- 13:20like to the last spite of a burger and then you you go and you're
- 13:22like, it's just like this long piece of hair, and you know it's
- 13:26not yours because I shed. So I always try to think of most women
- 13:30do. I always try to think, like, that's gotta be mine,
- 13:33right, that's God got Then the cook comes out, the chef and you
- 13:39got the long brown hair. Oh yeah, I mean it's such an you
- 13:41don't You hate to get too grossed out or mad anyway, because what can
- 13:45you do? You know what I mean? It's like hair falls out.
- 13:48You could be at the nicest restaurant in the world, their hair still falls
- 13:52out. Oh totally. And you again, I just wish I didn't get
- 13:54that feeling, but I do, Like, can you just pull out the
- 13:56hair and you're done? I can do anything I set my mind. Yeah,
- 14:01I'll keep you and I'll eat right through a hair. I'll swallow it.
- 14:03Oh stop it, you will not. But it is. What's the
- 14:05weirdest thing? Well? I found one time I was with somebody at this
- 14:09burger place in town. Loved the place, but there was a staple in
- 14:13their burger, an actual bad swear to God, And you know what the
- 14:18sick part was. They didn't even give a discount. They just said sorry,
- 14:22like a full like, how did this person find it because it was
- 14:26about to get there or was it bit into it? Yeah, bit into
- 14:28it. It realized, oh my god, there's something in my mouth.
- 14:33Yeah, I could have killed you. Could have killed you. It feels
- 14:35a bit aggressive, but I guess I gonna have to hit the arteries the
- 14:39right way on the way down. Well, the best case are you still
- 14:43got to pass the staple. And this was not like a staple on your
- 14:45desk. This was like a construction quality state. Gosh, yeah, imagine
- 14:48that's slid at the rear. Imagine the obituary death by a burger. I
- 14:54don't think they include that in little bit. I mean, I think you're
- 14:56gonna have to it died unexpectedly at a local burger restaurant. I guess what
- 15:01that would say, staple. I don't know if I come back from stuff
- 15:05like that death do few do? Amanda in the Morning on Big Seven,
- 15:11Well, Americans have spoken the perfect movie length. The ideal length of a
- 15:16movie is exactly ninety two minutes. Okay, I was gonna say an hour
- 15:22and a half is perfect, And yeah, you know, like sometimes we'll
- 15:26be perusing the streaming services trying to find a movie and you'll see one that
- 15:30kind of catches your eye, and then you'll look and it's like the run
- 15:31time is two and a half hours. I'm like, well, no,
- 15:35I just I can't commit to that, or if it is really good you
- 15:37get into it, you're like, okay, not gonna be able to go
- 15:41to sleep, or there's just not enough time for it, right, I
- 15:43mean, yeah, we should have started this an hour and a half ago.
- 15:46If we're gonna watch that commit to something like this. Actually shocked that
- 15:48it is even that high anymore, just because again, we're so ultical,
- 15:54Like we still DVR a lot of things, so when we're watching like I
- 15:58still watch a lot of Hallmark in Lifetime movie huh, so what I'm watching
- 16:00it, you're still going through the commercials or even like a two hour episode
- 16:03of Dateline, you can fly through that in forty five minutes. Yeah,
- 16:08you know, I mean the fact of like having to sit there for like
- 16:11if you're watching commercials. But yeah, that's what I mean, like fast
- 16:14forward, and it's one of it's the funny conundrum of people like, oh,
- 16:18I don't want to watch a two hour movie, but I'll go ahead
- 16:19and watch seven consecutive forty five minute episodes. It's true of a series,
- 16:23it's different, right. You want to know what movies over history have been
- 16:27the perfect length of ninety two minutes? Oh yeah, A couple of perfect
- 16:30movies in here, if you ask me, it's not Jas Dodgeball. Oh
- 16:34God, sorry, Ben Stiller. You know now that we're saying that this
- 16:38is one of those, I'm not sure if I ever watch it, or
- 16:41I just saw so many highlights from it. Really, I know that sounds
- 16:45crazy. Oh it's a great film, Vince Vaughn. No, I mean,
- 16:48I feel like you can tell me things of like, oh yeah,
- 16:52but I'm not sure I watched it, or if I did, it wasn't
- 16:53like enough to like an American Pie or a happy Gilmore or something like that
- 16:59where you watch a few times. Have you seen any of these other perfect
- 17:02length movies ninety two minutes? You think the movies like it when you tell
- 17:06them that the perfect length there is it kind of like, oh, no,
- 17:08yeah, I bet, I bet it's perfect. Yeah. Kung Fu
- 17:11Panda. I feel like my kids tried to watch that one, but coming
- 17:15in at ninety two hot minutes again back in the day, couldn't tell you
- 17:18much about it. Gosh, I'm terrible here, I thought I was.
- 17:22I've seen Beetle Choos, Monsters Inc. Please tell me you've seen Monsters Inc.
- 17:26It's been on the TV. I've never like got into it. Yikes.
- 17:29I know. I'm also a terrible movie watcher. If this tells you
- 17:33anything about me, I take you as somebody that will watch movie but then
- 17:36not really watch the movie. Yeah, yeah, always just super distracted or
- 17:40I'm getting up and getting something for the kid, like yeah, just and
- 17:42then the other perfect length movie, Toy Story two. Okay, now that
- 17:45one I'm all in. I forget what happened? Is that where they get
- 17:48stuck in the toy shop? I totally forge, you know, I forget
- 17:51because we're four in now or three, we might be five in. I
- 17:53don't know. Is there a Toy Story five? I know there's for sure
- 17:56three, and I think they're working on four, not one hundred Toy Story
- 18:00one. We all know, right, that's just your classic. Yeah,
- 18:03they're in and the house not Jesse's room. They get what's the kids Andy?
- 18:08Yes, and then the neighbor gets a hold of him and he's trying
- 18:11to kill him with the you know, the magnifying glass. We are currently
- 18:17going to be getting Toy Story five in twenty twenty six. Oh, we
- 18:19got a couple of years. Yeah, so maybe I have, so,
- 18:22I am man. Just when I think I'm like, yes, I got
- 18:25it, I think I get three and four mixed up because there's one where
- 18:27they're in like a daycare, and then I think that's number three, and
- 18:30then they almost like it's the really sad ending where everybody was crying, right,
- 18:34I mean it all works out. Don't even Tom Hanks? Right,
- 18:37was he crying? I'm pretty sure like when he was he was filming,
- 18:41He's like, this is just devastating. Yeah, it's sad. I don't
- 18:44want to spoil it. If nobody saw it, but bus light here gets
- 18:45sow it in half, wouldn't it be horrible? That would be it'd be
- 18:48tough to watch? Is it too early? These poor children? I know?
- 18:52Sorry kidd sho, I brown as it doesn't happen like a minute in
- 18:56the morning, No, Amanda. Still, let's see, let's see.
- 19:00I'm told this is brought to you by Whimmers Diamonds. All right, Donna
- 19:06Kelsey is sharing her praises about Taylor Swift's new album, saying that I listened
- 19:11to the whole album and I thought that it was not only was it very
- 19:15impressive, she said she's a very talented woman and it was her best work
- 19:18yet. Really, Donna, with the hot take hot, It's hard to
- 19:22say. It's obviously very subjective. The song I'll say Fortnite is growing on
- 19:26me quite a lot, you know, I'll agree because as soon as I
- 19:27heard those like not for me, but I catch myself like him and and
- 19:33han along like throughout the day to the I guess the course of it or
- 19:37whatever the chorus. Yeah, right, well, you're a real music music
- 19:41I really no, It's like any song. I never like to react right
- 19:45away because it just takes. It takes a few listens. You gotta kind
- 19:47of let it sit for a few days. Yeah, it is so true.
- 19:49By the way, When asked if she had any life advice for Taylor
- 19:52Swift, Mama, Donna said she doesn't need my advice on anything. In
- 19:56fact, I hope she will give me a advice. What a humble lady.
- 20:00Isn't that interesting? By the way, we are finding out Taylor and
- 20:03Trap. They're trying to stay on the down low as much as they possibly
- 20:07can. We told you that they just got back from a vacation with Gigi
- 20:08had Ead and Bradley Cooper. So they're in LA and inside sources are saying
- 20:15that they went out for dinner and they sat on the same side of the
- 20:18booth. Oh no, I know, is that right? That's just who
- 20:22do you think that's who initiated that charge of that? I think a trap.
- 20:26I have a feeling she went on the inside, traps out on the
- 20:30outside to just really protect her from whatever may have been going on. You
- 20:33guys do that ever? I feel like you do that. That is definitely
- 20:37not something I do. In fact, we had a little date day last
- 20:40Friday and we were at it was like a bigger table at the place we
- 20:44were at, and my husband sat so far away from me. I'm like,
- 20:45why are you sitting so far away from me? He's like, because
- 20:48if I sit like right next to you, that's super weird. He he
- 20:52can't stand that. And if there's anybody that's sitting like really close to each
- 20:55other, he's like, he can't handle it. It is just kind of
- 20:57annoying. I mean, if you just got together and you're looking to get
- 21:00any snuggling in, you can, I get that's your only shot while you're
- 21:04eating pizza. I don't know it doesn't you're a married man, Do you
- 21:07guys sit on the same side of the booth or no? Not usually no,
- 21:11no, unless you're out for dinner with a couple, of course that
- 21:14would be. We see a lot of people doing it, and we always
- 21:15are like, gotta read. We're not affectionate. But when we lost them.
- 21:19When I'm talking with Wendy, I want to look at her, not
- 21:22like twist my head over. Would you sound like my husband? Honey?
- 21:26I wanted to gaze into your eyes? Oh gotcha? How do you how
- 21:29do you handle this one? If you're like, let's say you're meeting another
- 21:30couple, do you sit on the same side as your partner, or do
- 21:33you guys sit across from each other? Do you let the girls sit across
- 21:36from each other? That depends Usually yeah, Usually, like you know,
- 21:41the guys are one side of the either side, then you have two separate
- 21:45conversations. Sometimes you walk in and you have a couple that are on the
- 21:48same side, so you sit on the opposite side. Sometimes they're across from
- 21:51each other, so you yeah. I feel like if I am meeting a
- 21:53couple and I'm going into a booth situation, We're sitting next to each other,
- 21:59so we and then it's candid conversation right back and forth. My non
- 22:03negotiables. I just have to be like on the outside. I can't be
- 22:07like shoe horned in. Like let's say it's like six people and it's in
- 22:11like a big booth or a circular kind of situation, You'd think my husband
- 22:15was on the swat team or something. Because he's also has to always has
- 22:18his eye on the door. He cannot be back. His back can't be
- 22:22to the door. If we're at a restaurant, I can't face. I
- 22:23can't face. Like if it's in a I can't face a bathroom. Like
- 22:26if I see if I can see the door open out uh if I if
- 22:30I can see into the back of house. If you're at a fancy restaurant,
- 22:33it's not a big deal because that's what's designed for. But if it's
- 22:37not a fancy restaurant, and I can see the door open and closed,
- 22:40and I can see what's going on back there, you might you might as
- 22:44well be eating out of the toy and that I'm like, when you design
- 22:45a restaurant, you should make unless you're again designing it so that everybody sees.
- 22:49That's part of the element. Make sure that there's no bad Interesting.
- 22:53I am and now totally thinking about it. If I've ever had like a
- 22:57weird fat when he gets what palms when we go to a place and they're
- 23:02like, oh, well we might be able to get you here, and
- 23:03she'll look at me because like I won't hide. I'll say, no,
- 23:06I don't want to sit there. Oh interesting, that's funny. Yeah.
- 23:08If you can see like the bathroom and then you can also see the kitchen,
- 23:11it's just like a weird mix. Yeah, unless it's open, because
- 23:14you know, and when they're showcasing their kitchen, they're doing it right right
- 23:18obviously. Yeah, it's cool. Yeah, hey experience, But otherwise,
- 23:22yeah, you're kind of like, oh, I did not need to peek
- 23:23in there. You know, why didn't you hold that they have microwaves?
- 23:27Like Ama in the morning, come on, get up on big breaking news
- 23:34coming in this morning, Amanda regarding the airline industry. Oh yeah, a
- 23:38law has just been passed. Now this is an actual law where airlines are
- 23:42now forced to automatically refund you if your flight is delayed, canceled, changed
- 23:51in any way that inconveniences you. Before, you know, airlines they would
- 23:56just basically if it got to that point, they would just give you like
- 23:59a a credit and you could only use it with them on another flight or
- 24:03you know, if you wanted the refund. There was a lot of hoops
- 24:06you had to jump through well, and sometimes it would just cancel it because
- 24:08there wasn't enough people on flights. I have a few friends who are in
- 24:11the airline industry. Yeah, so it'd be like, oh, hey,
- 24:15this flight isn't full. We have another flight coming in and you have to
- 24:18get on that. But if you don't want to, you could get a
- 24:21full refund. Then, is that what you're saying. Yeah, now you
- 24:23get a full refund just automatically, and it's you know, government mandated,
- 24:27so they gotta do it. Interesting. Yeah, so that'll that'd be a
- 24:32nice you know. Now, I wish they would pass a off for car
- 24:34washes. If as far as refunds go, you're still dealing with that.
- 24:38I just I've moved on I've literally I cannot receive a refund. I was
- 24:42duped by a car wash and they will not give me a refund. I
- 24:47went to the point of angrily printing off the forms needed to take them to
- 24:51small claims Court. After taking a couple of days to think about it,
- 24:55I've decided it might not be worth it, but but I considered it interesting
- 25:00anyway. Okay, so going back to this, this would also help.
- 25:03For instance, Yes, you're gonna need to go somewhere, So if you're
- 25:08let's just say you're at an air an airport and people are just like waiting
- 25:11in line trying to go through, it's just such a hassle. Do you
- 25:15think that that will help with some of that problem too? Like if your
- 25:17flight's canceled, well, I think a lot of those people are like trying
- 25:21to trying to figure out how they're going to still get to their destination.
- 25:23So not necessarily a refund, but like how am I going to get there?
- 25:26Yeah, that's what's the worst. What's the worst experience? You bad
- 25:29as far as like delays and cancelations things like that. Have you ever been
- 25:33like stranded somewhere in an airport? Thankfully haven't been stranded for too long,
- 25:37probably a couple of years ago, we couldn't get out of Fargo, and
- 25:41we ended up like having our our flight was delayed for like another day,
- 25:45but we couldn't get onto that flight. So it was kind of it was
- 25:48at least we were on our home turf. Well that's good. At least.
- 25:52Yeah, we we tried to go on a vacation out of Fargo.
- 25:53The flight literally, and this was with Dustin from Happy Harry's, We're going
- 25:57to Green Bay. Well that's right. The flight we're literally, you know,
- 26:00just gung ho heading out for vacation. Couple beers deep from the airport
- 26:03bar. The flight is, the wheels are coming off the ground when suddenly
- 26:07the plane has to slam on the brakes because I think something fell off the
- 26:11plane. This was like pre Boeing controversy, and so it's probably ten years
- 26:15ago. So they literally had to turn around and there was no other flights
- 26:18and so we just it went from I was going to be gone for the
- 26:22weekend, d just going back home. I remember you guys texting me and
- 26:26going, hey, do you want to meet us at like Sickies or something.
- 26:27I'm like, oh, stop it guys and you're like, no,
- 26:30no, we're not. And especially when it's a short weekend like that,
- 26:33there's no oh I can let's just tomorrow or anything like that. It was
- 26:37just over. That was just it so not fun. But now they would
- 26:41automatically have to give you a refund. That kind of feels like a game
- 26:44changer. That's a big wind flow. It's making it consume. It's probably
- 26:47the biggest change we've seen in society in our lifetimes. Like this, and
- 26:52then sliced bread arguably
