- 0:02On in the grip of oppression.
- 0:06I fought for my liberty.
- 0:10I paid with the blood of my people.
- 0:14Freedom has never been free.
- 0:18Now my doors always open.
- 0:23To dreamers and friends.
- 0:27When I'm attacked, I protect and deep.
- 0:35Because my name is America.
- 0:40Hello, everyone and welcome.
- 0:41This is Karen Schoen.
- 0:43You're listening to the Prism of America's Education brought to you on the America Out Loud.
- 0:48News Network.
- 0:50Folks, I don't know about you, but I have been very confused again as I am watching these No Kings rallies when we don't have a king.
- 0:58So what king could they possibly be talking about?
- 1:02And then when you listen to these people, they have no clue as to what they're even doing there.
- 1:08So I this whole thing makes no sense to me.
- 1:11And of course, when something like that magnitude makes no sense, I like to ask my expert.
- 1:18And that would be Alex Newman, who is phenomenal at explaining all of these phenomons that seem to be going on in America.
- 1:27Um all they're really doing, as far as I'm concerned, is dividing the country.
- 1:34It doesn't seem that they want to do anything else.
- 1:37Anyway, Alex, welcome and thank you so much for joining me.
- 1:41This is fabulous.
- 1:43I love to listen to your commentaries.
- 1:45I love to read them.
- 1:46And folks, you really need to go to the Liberty Sentinel.org and sign up and get Alex's newsletters and his videos.
- 1:54They are fantastic.
- 1:55Oh, thank you so much, Karen, for that kind introduction.
- 1:57It's an honor to be with you.
- 1:59Alex, what is this no kings rally all about?
- 2:04And how can we be yelling about no kings?
- 2:07What king are they talking about?
- 2:10Well, clearly, uh, you know, the every day in America is no king's day.
- 2:14Uh, we we literally fought a war for independence to separate ourselves from the king of England.
- 2:20Um, and and of course, uh, they didn't seem to really mind a very uh uh power hungry executive branch when it was in the hands of Joe Biden or Barack Obama or or even the Bushes and the Clintons.
- 2:34So uh, you know, forgive me if I'm not uh overly convinced that they're really concerned about uh an alleged king in America.
- 2:41But the real issue here is the money.
- 2:42Uh when you follow the money, what you'll find is unbelievable amounts, hundreds of millions of dollars, if not more, coming from all the usual suspects, the the Warren Buffett's and the Bill Gates' and the George Soros's and all the usual suspects that have been uh promoting this uh really subversive agenda for so long now.
- 3:02Do they really believe that there's no king in Saudi Arabia?
- 3:06Right.
- 3:07Well, see, that's not the kind of king they mind, right?
- 3:10As long as you're you're that kind of king, it's okay.
- 3:12But if you're the kind of king who uh maybe wants to do certain good things for America, then you're in trouble.
- 3:17But I I've got some of the funding here.
- 3:19Uh, 79 million dollars from the Arabella Foundation, 16 million from Warren Buffett, 51 million from the Ford Foundation, 26 million from Rockefellers, 45 million from the Tides Foundation, which kind of launders the money for all these globalist uh big government liberal billionaires.
- 3:36So this is not an organic movement, right?
- 3:38They they're getting talking points, uh, they're being used as useful idiots.
- 3:42And of course, the purpose is not to prevent the emergence of a king in America, the purpose is to undermine our country.
- 3:48Yeah, and it again, this always makes me uh just I mean, I it's can't understand it, because had they realized that if they made America successful, they'd be more successful, but they don't want that, they just want the people down, and uh they're not interested in anything else, I guess, except garnishing power for themselves.
- 4:14And it seems as though uh the whole purpose of this is the great divide to divide the people into little factions so that they have no idea what's going on, and we wind up hating each other instead of hating an enemy.
- 4:33Alex, what is this color revolution?
- 4:35What does that mean?
- 4:37And uh, we know that it was started by the CIA, but bringing it to America, what is that all about?
- 4:44So, color revolution is a strategy that was developed by the intelligence community for overthrowing governments, uh, and we we've seen it all over the world.
- 4:50We saw it in North Africa, we saw it in the Middle East, we saw it in Eastern Europe, uh, we've seen Orange Revolutions, Purple Revolutions, Arab Spring, all the rest of it.
- 5:00Um, and and none of this stuff has been organic.
- 5:02This stuff has been developed by uh uh subversives at the Central Intelligence Agency, by subversives at the U.S.
- 5:08State Department, and they have perfected the art of overthrowing governments.
- 5:11They've been doing it for decades, and for a long time, uh it was usually Washington, D.C.
- 5:17doing this in other countries.
- 5:19And so Americans weren't really all that bothered by it.
- 5:21People didn't really think about it or care about it or understand it.
- 5:24It was just kind of the U.S.
- 5:25government doing what the U.S.
- 5:26government does.
- 5:27But what has happened uh since about 2016 is a lot of these same color revolutionaries when they realized that they weren't going to control the levers of power anymore, started figuring out how to deploy those tactics here.
- 5:41And I believe the No Kings movement is a big part of this, right?
- 5:44They want to uh bring about a regime change situation in America, and I think a lot of people just mistake this as being about Trump.
- 5:50Well, you they just hate Trump.
- 5:51They have Trump derangement syndrome.
- 5:53Um Trump is not the issue, so to speak.
- 5:56Uh, what they really want to overthrow here is not any particular individual, not any particular politician.
- 6:01They want to overthrow the constitutional republic, the system of government that our forefathers left to us and in many cases fought and died for.
- 6:10And that's the real danger.
- 6:11Um, if you if you look, uh a lot of people in Trump's administration have understood this.
- 6:14If you go back to 2017, uh Rich Higgins, who is the director of policy and planning on the National Security Council did a brilliant memo.
- 6:21Uh, you can find it.
- 6:22It's called The Higgins Memo, where he said that there's now a global alliance, um, very much including domestic subversives that includes uh jihadists and globalists and socialists and communists and all the rest of them, and that their objective is to destroy the United States of America, not just as a nation, but even as an ideal.
- 6:40And I think that's what's going on with the color revolution here.
- 6:43They're trying to discredit the United States as a nation.
- 6:47They're trying to discredit our institutions, and unfortunately, they've been very effective, especially as you know, Karen, by uh indoctrinating the younger generation so that they don't know anything about the true history of the United States.
- 6:58Yeah, you wrote a fabulous book called Indoctrinating Our Children to Death.
- 7:02Would you like to talk for a couple of minutes about that?
- 7:05Because as a former teacher, I couldn't agree more.
- 7:08Our kids are learning nothing.
- 7:10Uh well, I shouldn't say they're learning nothing.
- 7:13That's not true.
- 7:13They're learning how to be good little communists.
- 7:16And I just read in my uh teachers magazine, nice it from New York State Teachers Association, that they will now have classes on politics teaching kids how to be uh uh activists.
- 7:33Uh, this is not the job of a school.
- 7:36So the kids can't read, they can't write, they can't do math, they have no idea what our history is, but they're gonna go out and fight for question mark, something.
- 7:46And it's it's exactly what's happening in the government school system.
- 7:50They are literally training the children to be good little revolutionaries.
- 7:55Uh, they're training them to burn down the system of government that we have inherited and replace it with uh, you know, they don't really understand what something that has more fairness and more equality and more LGBT, climate change, whatever.
- 8:08They know the talking points, but um, we need to understand how dangerous this is.
- 8:12Uh, I would argue that the government school system is really the primary mechanism that these evildoers are using to bring down our country.
- 8:20And um, if we don't get a handle on this, uh, there won't be any possibility of recovering, right?
- 8:26So uh so I've done three out of the eight books that I've written, three deal exclusively with education.
- 8:31I did uh woke and weaponized, this just came out a few weeks ago uh with Robert Bortons, the CEO of Classical Conversations.
- 8:37We explain how Karl Marx won the battle for American education and how we can take it back.
- 8:41Uh before that, I did indoctrinating our children to death.
- 8:44Uh that book uh really delves into the history of how we got here.
- 8:48It's been endorsed by great Americans like uh Pete Heggseth and General Michael Flynn and others.
- 8:53Um and then before that, I did uh Crimes of the Educators with Dr.
- 8:56Sam Blumenfeld, uh, which was endorsed by Phyllis Lafley and Congressman Ron Paul and a lot of other great Americans.
- 9:02Uh and and the reason I spend so much time on education, Karen, and and you do as well, uh, is because we both understand that this is the issue that's going to determine the outcome of all the other issues.
- 9:13Uh, if they capture the hearts and minds of the next generation, uh all of the political efforts and the the other uh initiatives that we undertake are going to come to nothing because they've got the next generation.
- 9:25Yes, and folks, just because your legislature makes a rule that says you can't do this, you can't do that, doesn't mean that they are not doing it.
- 9:35And that's exactly what's happening.
- 9:38Uh in Florida, for example, they uh Governor DeSantis said uh no Sharia care and Muslim Brotherhood are terrorist organizations.
- 9:49So then what happened the next day, the next week, all of a sudden care is having an event in the Capitol.
- 9:56How is that possible?
- 9:58And that's possible, I believe.
- 10:00Believe Alex, because we're not paying attention, and we are not conducting oversight, and we are not asking our legislators the right questions when we elect them.
- 10:09We go for the pretty face, we go for the guy who looks nice, who sounds good, and we don't pay attention to what he's actually saying, or we never look up to see what he has done in before.
- 10:22And this is a big problem.
- 10:24And that filters to the schools, doesn't it?
- 10:27I mean, the school boards.
- 10:28Uh, we can span this book and that book, and right, they can't even put in a book that says a baby is a baby.
- 10:37Uh, you have to think that it is a development of cells that are meaningless, so go have an abortion.
- 10:44Um, when we try to pass a bill that said uh you have to teach all about the fetus and how it becomes a baby and teach true hygiene and the way that uh impregnation actually works, they wouldn't vote for it.
- 11:01So, what is going on in the schools, Alex?
- 11:04Well, they're they're dumbing down the population, and and that's indisputable.
- 11:08I mean, the government itself kind of brags about it.
- 11:10They do the National Assessment of Educational Progress every few years, and they'll openly tell you less than one in three victims of these uh schools are even proficient in any core subject that includes reading, writing, math, science, history, civics, etc.
- 11:24Um, but they are uh they're not even so much indoctrinating them anymore as they are conditioning them.
- 11:30Right.
- 11:31Um, I encourage people remember what Pavlov did with the dogs uh that Vygotsky worked on these kinds of experiments before him.
- 11:37Um it was basically conditioning, where they're conditioning a particular emotional response uh to a given stimuli.
- 11:46And um we we have seen this now.
- 11:49I mean, we we all have the the crazy relative that comes to Thanksgiving, and the moment someone says the word Trump, they freak out and start screaming and uh, or or somebody says the word uh border wall.
- 12:01You know, these are emotional trigger words that have been um uh basically through this process of conditioning uh instilled in the minds of these individuals so that they will have an utterly illogical, utterly unreasonable response.
- 12:15Uh and that's why people struggle to understand what to do about this, right?
- 12:19Like you could give all the information and the facts and the evidence in the world, and it doesn't seem to make any difference.
- 12:23They're they're still shrieking and they're still turning red and hollering and stamping up and down.
- 12:28Uh, that's because we're not dealing with uh something that was instilled in them through logic, reason, evidence, critical thinking.
- 12:35It was all done through behavioral conditioning.
- 12:37And now with the emergence of AI, this is going to get even worse.
- 12:41Yes, I I agree with you.
- 12:43And let's remember Skinner's black box.
- 12:46Um my dear friend Charlotte Iserby used to say that's your computer, and that's what it's going to do to people.
- 12:54And Skinner and Pavlov, they laid out the whole plan, and we're not paying attention to it.
- 13:00And she spent so much time trying to explain what was going on.
- 13:04And again, uh uh my generation, I am sad to say, uh, of baby boomers just decided we're not paying attention anymore.
- 13:15And that that to me is the biggest problem that we have because we are the generation that remembers the way it used to be, the way uh people behave, the way people reacted, the love of country, the love of that's why Trump, who is my age in that age bracket, um goes through what he's going through because he remembers.
- 13:41I remember, and I always think of how sad it is that our children today have absolutely no clue of the way things used to be, which really was a good idea because it gave you a sounding place, it gave you the ability to choose something to make a wise decision by having the knowledge, and we are not passing that on.
- 14:06Um, we hear a lot, Alex, about this deep state.
- 14:10Is that what is really going on?
- 14:12Are they the ones?
- 14:14Who are these people?
- 14:15And are they the ones that are responsible for this?
- 14:19Yeah, in a very serious way, yes.
- 14:21Um, you know, deep state is a term that's kind of entered the the popular lexicon in recent years, uh, and the mainstream media likes to dismiss concerns about it as as if they were like conspiratorial or something.
- 14:33But we really do have a deep state, and I would even argue a deep state behind the deep state.
- 14:37Um, I did a special report in the New American Magazine some years ago that we turned into a book.
- 14:41I'm about to release the second edition on this.
- 14:43Uh so there are all kinds of secretive and even secret organizations that are deeply involved in uh pushing America toward this uh revolutionary state that are involved in indoctrinating our children.
- 14:56In fact, you mentioned Charlotte Israby, uh her dad and her grandpa were both members of a secret society called the Skull and Bones.
- 15:03Uh, it's a secret group at Yale.
- 15:05Bush was both Bushes were members, uh, John Carey is a member, just to give people a sense of how powerful.
- 15:10And um, the historian Anthony Sutton, who was a friend of Charlotte, Charlotte gave Anthony uh all of her dads and her grandpa's documents about uh skull and bones when they passed away.
- 15:20And he ended up writing a book called America's Secret Establishment, an introduction of the order of skull and bones and what he shows.
- 15:26He's got a whole chapter in this book, uh, that actually some people have published as a standalone book where he shows that skull and bones has made it a top priority to hijack the American educational system.
- 15:37So uh people don't like to realize that there are uh forces in the shadows that are working to destroy our country, take away our liberty, brainwash our children, but they're absolutely are it's provable, it's well documented, it's easy to show.
- 15:50And uh the only reason people haven't heard about it is because the deep state media continues to lie about it.
- 15:55Yes, and that is a big problem because uh anybody that just spends their time listening to the mainstream media, you only get one side of an issue.
- 16:07You never get the other side, you never get the what if, you never get the why, you never get any of those questions because they are given their talking points and they go out and use their talking points, and then there is nothing behind it.
- 16:21So uh we the people have no frame of reference unless you explore and unless you go after.
- 16:30And unfortunately, like I said uh originally, I believe that this is a large fault of the baby boomers who have taken uh who have not become responsible anymore for what America was about.
- 16:47We were supposed to be passing along our information to our youngers so that they would know and by eliminating history and eliminating uh what America is all about, we have we have stopped, and uh that that stopping has allowed somebody else to pick up the void because a void will always be filled, and it'll be filled by good or evil, and I think right now it's being filled by evil.
- 17:18Um, nothing is is more evident than what I mean.
- 17:22You wrote uh an article and you actually did a video on is the government trying to kill Americans.
- 17:29What did you find, Alex?
- 17:31Uh the answer is unequivocally, yes.
- 17:34The government is trying to kill Americans, and they are doing it, and they are doing it legally, and they're doing it um blatantly.
- 17:41Uh, you know, and it's happening in a whole bunch of different ways, but the healthcare system, unfortunately, is uh one of the really dangerous areas.
- 17:50Um, you know, we we started with an interview with uh a guy called Scott Shara.
- 17:55Um, his daughter had down syndrome, and she ended up in the hospital during COVID.
- 18:00Uh unfortunately, uh, when she got in there, they put an illegal do not resuscitate order on her.
- 18:07They gave her massive doses of opiates and benzodiazepines.
- 18:10Uh, anybody will tell you that that is uh highly inappropriate, they're contra-indicated.
- 18:16And uh, of course, you know, here we are.
- 18:19Uh, we've we've got uh huge numbers of people who have uh passed away as a result of these uh COVID policies.
- 18:26Uh and that's just the start of it.
- 18:28You know, you've got the US government funding a global war on farmers, you've got uh all these uh illegal wars that the government has been waging for so many decades.
- 18:35Uh everywhere you look, you've got um the government, not just the United States, it's happening uh all over.
- 18:41You see in Canada now, they're euthanizing people in Spain, they just euthanized a 25-year-old girl that they allowed to be uh gang raped by illegal immigrants in a in a group home.
- 18:50Uh I mean, it everywhere you look, the government is killing people, and uh they're just putting a smiley face on it, but it's an atrocity.
- 18:57Right, and then they're calling it transgenderism, and they're allowing mutilation of our children.
- 19:04So, what is the purpose of that?
- 19:06Well, can a transgender have a child?
- 19:09No, so the whole idea, I think, goes back to uh depopulation.
- 19:16There are too many of us for them to control, so the way that they will control is to kill us.
- 19:23Yeah, and I just heard this morning, I I could not believe this, but Oklahoma is voting on a bill to take human remains and turn them into compost for fertilizer.
- 19:37Yeah, and this is kind of stuff we have.
- 19:41I I I was in shock.
- 19:43And and also in uh Canada, a fashion house is designing body bags, so you get to choose your body bag from uh uh designer.
- 19:55I mean the world is uh I believe unfortunately.
- 20:00Going insane.
- 20:01And we are letting the inmates run the asylum.
- 20:05So what do we do about it, Alex?
- 20:08Yeah, the inmates are definitely running the asylum, and population control is absolutely a critical part of this.
- 20:12And that's why, in addition to killing us, they're also working on sterilizing us.
- 20:16It's just absolutely atrocious.
- 20:18And so I think there's a number of things that we need to uh deal with here.
- 20:21And I would say the first one is we have to be well informed, Karen.
- 20:24If if you don't understand the danger, you're not going to take prudent and necessary steps to protect yourself.
- 20:30Um we saw during COVID how the well-informed people avoided the worst of the madness.
- 20:36Um and the lemmings went along with the program.
- 20:39And uh many of them unfortunately ended up dead or severely injured.
- 20:43Uh, or you know, they lost everything.
- 20:45So uh knowledge is power.
- 20:46I would encourage people to really make sure they're accessing good sources of information.
- 20:51Uh, your program, Karen, is marvelous.
- 20:53I serve as senior editor at the New American Magazine.
- 20:55We put out a lot of good information that will help people.
- 20:58Um, my free newsletter, it's at Liberty Sentinel.org.
- 21:01We do some shows.
- 21:02Uh, there's a lot of good places to get information, and then there's a lot of bad places.
- 21:06So make sure you're you're staying uh well informed on the issues of the day.
- 21:11Uh it's it's maybe a little bit of an inconvenience, but it's absolutely essential.
- 21:15Uh, secondly, we've got to protect the hearts and minds of the next generation.
- 21:19We have got to make sure that our children are getting a real education or all hope is lost, right?
- 21:24This is our posterity, our children, our grandchildren.
- 21:27Uh, if we don't make sure that they get a good education, uh, we're gonna be in big trouble, not just us as individuals, but our communities and of course our country.
- 21:36So um, you know, get your kids out of the government schools if you can, uh, get informed on these issues.
- 21:41Um, my latest book, Woke and Weaponized, How Karl Marx Won the Battle for American Education, how we can take it back as a good starting point.
- 21:48Uh, I personally have my own children in uh Classical Conversations, which is a really, really great program, Classical Christian Education.
- 21:54Uh, I serve on the board of the Freedom Project Academy, which is uh a classical uh Judeo Christian K through 12 school.
- 22:01It's all online, so people can do that from anywhere in the world.
- 22:04Uh, but there are so many options out there, Karen, for people who want to get their children a good education.
- 22:09They just have to act on it.
- 22:10But uh, those are the key things that I would recommend.
- 22:13And then also uh just be prepared.
- 22:14I think we're headed into probably some tough uh economic and geopolitical times, and it would be wise for people to take some prudent precautions.
- 22:24I could not agree more, and I'm gonna add a couple of things to what Alex just said, and that is vet your candidates.
- 22:33Pay attention to who you have represent you and see if they're actually gonna.
- 22:38Oh, sure.
- 22:39Uh, so we do at the New America, we produce the Freedom Index.
- 22:43Um, we basically give a report card uh to every single uh lawmaker in the U.S.
- 22:47Oh, fabulous.
- 22:48And for the state legislature.
- 22:50So people can go to the new American.com and you'll be able to see right away if your congressman or your senator or your state representative or your state senator is voting in accordance with the constitution or against it.
- 23:00And so forget the rhetoric, right?
- 23:02Look at how they're actually voting.
- 23:03Uh, and that's a great tool for people to share with others.
- 23:06Oh, that certainly is.
- 23:07And another thing if you are in the state of Florida, the most important election that we have in the state of Florida is the primary.
- 23:16By the time your candidate gets to the general, if they are a Republican, chances are they will already be elected.
- 23:24So you want to make sure that you get out and vote in the primary.
- 23:29We do not want our candidate to win a general election with 25% of the vote because only 25% of the people voted in the primary.
- 23:40So the primary to me is more important than the general election.
- 23:46And if we don't pay attention to that, we will be overrun by incompetent people who just got there because nobody voted for them.
- 23:58Nobody voted.
- 23:59And uh, like I said, vetting your candidate, vetting the candidate doesn't mean I'm gonna give them a score because it's a right or wrong answer.
- 24:07No, it's your opportunity to find out what they think, why they think that way.
- 24:13Will they vote along the lines of their constituent constituents, or will they vote along the lines of their donors?
- 24:21And you must go and look at the donors.
- 24:24Who are the donors that are contributing because those are the people that your candidate will be beholden to?
- 24:32Is that really what you want?
- 24:33Big pharma telling your candidate we're going to use this drug no matter what.
- 24:38We certainly don't want that to happen.
- 24:41So there are many things that we the people can do.
- 24:43The problem is we're sitting on the couch and throwing socks at the TV, and that doesn't work.
- 24:49So Alex, tell everybody where they can find you and your fabulous writing.
- 24:53Uh, thanks again, Karen.
- 24:54So my personal website, Liberty Sentinel.org.
- 24:57Sentinel is S-E-N-T-I-N-E-L dot org.
- 25:01Uh, also the new American magazine online is at the New American.com.
- 25:05Uh, Classical Conversations is a Classical Conversations.com, and then Public School Exit is at Public SchoolExit.com.
- 25:11I'm also on X.
- 25:12You'll find me at Alex Newman underscore J-O-U.
- 25:14And we put all kinds of stuff out through uh through X.
- 25:17So would encourage people to check us out there as well.
- 25:19Thank you so much, Alex.
- 25:21Your work is always fantastic.
- 25:23And uh hopefully you'll come back again when we get closer to this election so we can talk about some of the people that are have voted and are on the new American and why we should want them in office or not want them in office.
- 25:38So thank you.
- 25:39Thank you, Karen.
- 25:40Appreciate it.

- 29:37Hello, everyone.
- 29:38Welcome back.
- 29:39This is Karen Sean.
- 29:40You're listening to the Prism of America's Education brought to you on the America Outloud.news network.
- 29:47Folks, uh, we are in a very holy time.
- 29:51Uh the Jews, myself included, have just gone through and once again reminded us what slavery was like.
- 30:00Like as we celebrated the Passover Seder.
- 30:04Now is Easter.
- 30:06And as the left is trying to divide us, I believe that it is of utmost importance that we joined together.
- 30:16The Jews and the Christians have so much in common.
- 30:20Fighting with our brethren is insanely stupid and desired by the communists.
- 30:27So I have asked Bill Federer, my favorite go-to historian to please come on the show and give us a little history lesson of the importance of Passover, Easter and why we need to unite as a united front.
- 30:43Thank you so much, Bill, for joining me.
- 30:46It is always wonderful to have you on.
- 30:48I learned so much and I appreciate it.
- 30:51Yeah, well, it is a tremendous honor for me to be on with you.
- 30:55And this is one of my favorite subjects.
- 30:59And it is um uh actually goes back to uh the uh the Adam and Eve story, and um Adam and Eve sinned and hid from God, and um the uh uh they decided to make um fig leaves as their covering, and um God uh said that's not gonna work, and he made them coats of skins, and if you think of it, how do you make a coat of skin?
- 31:29Well, something has to die, and um, and so do you think he went to the other side of the garden and killed the animal, or do you think maybe he killed it right in front of him?
- 31:39And they witnessed the first death ever, right?
- 31:42According to the creation account, this would have been the first thing ever to die.
- 31:44And Adam and Eve are watching this innocent animal go through the pangs of dying, and they're thinking to themselves, we're the ones that sinned, but the citizen animal is the one that's dying, and God wanted to make it really clear the animal was dying in their place that right in front of him, he strips the skin off the animal and he puts it on their naked bodies, and so for the rest of their life, Adam and Eve were wearing the skin of the animal that they watched die in their place, and um, and so the um uh the attitude is instead of man making himself acceptable to God by putting on fig leaves.
- 32:19Um, it's God killing the the animal and putting the skins on Adam and Eve.
- 32:25In other words, God was and they had faith in that uh they were made uh acceptable to God by wearing the the skin of the animal.
- 32:34So Adam and Eve tell Cain and Abel, right?
- 32:37There's not much to talk about uh yet because the everything is brand new, and so they certainly shared the story.
- 32:43Uh Cain basically does an offshoot of the church of the fig leaf, and he starts the church of the fruits and the nuts.
- 32:50Cain's trying to uh work his way to heaven, and we know it's works because God told Adam the ground is cursed for your sake, and you'll bring forth fruit by the sweat of your brow.
- 32:59Sweat is work, and so Cain's trying to be good enough to go to heaven.
- 33:04Was Cain's offering accepted?
- 33:07No, and it says his countenance fell, his pride was hurt, he was embarrassed in front of his mom, dad, and brother.
- 33:13Um, and he got filled full of hatred and anger, wanted to murder his brother Abel who had the understanding of the lamb.
- 33:19So Abel, the picture is God is on one side, we're on the other side, we've all sinned, but the lamb takes the judgment for the sin instead of us taking the judgment for the sin.
- 33:31And so Abel's offering was rejected.
- 33:33If you think of it, if you're doing works, you can be proud of your works because um you're doing more than your brother, and there's a verse in the Bible that says, God resists the proud, uh, but he gives grace to the humble, and so uh Abel by trusting in the lamb is humble because he's acknowledging he's insufficient in himself.
- 33:53I need help, right?
- 33:55And so the the help is the lamb, and then you go to uh Noah uh getting off the ark, and he sacrificed a lamb.
- 34:05Now the Bible says he took two of every creature on the ark, but seven pair of every clean animal.
- 34:12So he would have had enough lambs, and then after he sacrificed the lambs when the rainbow appeared, and then you have um Abraham, and he is um uh you know, going to the top of Mount Moriah with Isaac, and Isaac says, Father, we have the wood for the sacrifice, we have the coals for the sacrifice, but where's the sacrifice?
- 34:31And Abraham says, Son, God will provide himself a lamb.
- 34:37And uh, and so there's sure enough, there's the ram in the bush, and uh Abraham sacrifices that instead of his son, and um and then you go to uh the children of Israel uh in Egypt, and um the uh the Pharaoh says that uh all the Jews have to throw their their uh sons in the Nile River, and uh and God basically flips it and says, Okay, the judgment you were going to do in the Israelites, I'm gonna do on you, and I'm gonna kill the firstborn uh of Egypt.
- 35:14And the uh the Israelites kill a lamb and put the blood over the doorposts of their house.
- 35:20And so when the angel of death, the angel of judgment is coming and it's bringing this judgment.
- 35:25Uh the blood signifies this house has already been judged, the price has already been paid.
- 35:32Here's the proof, here's the evidence, the blood um of the sacrifice.
- 35:36So the sacrifice took the judgment instead of us taking the judgment, so the angel of death could pass over.
- 35:42So they called it Passover, and um, and then you get to the tabernacle in the wilderness, and the um uh high priest, um uh there's the the tent of meeting outside is the uh brazen altar where the sacrifice is killed, and uh then you have the the laver, the the um uh like a bathtub where the priest would wash their their hands and so forth, and and then they would go into the holy place with uh the menorah and the table of showbread, but then there's a curtain, and inside is the holy holies, and there's the ark of the covenant, and the ark is a gold box, and inside are the ten commandments and on the top is a lid that's gold, and then there's two angels, and between the two angels, the high priest comes and he sprinkles the blood of the the sacrifice right there on the the lid, and the picture is you have the presence of the Lord above between the two angels, and then you have the Ten Commandments inside of it, and then the blood in between, and so the the priest representing the people saying we've sinned, uh we've broken the law, uh, but accept the blood of this sacrifice as having taken the judgment instead of us taking the judgment, and so uh if the high priest would have approached the ark without the blood, he would have been approaching the judgment seat of God, but the blood changed it from a judgment seat into a mercy seat, and then David sacrificed lambs when he uh you know took the census, and there's that angel bringing judgment on Jerusalem, and he gets the um threshing floor of Arna, and I'm not pronouncing his name right, but uh, and then David uh sacrifices, and then Solomon sacrificed a thousand lambs when he uh you know dedicated the temple.
- 37:40Um you know, Elijah did as well, and then um you have John the Baptist, and this is the Christian um New Testament now.
- 37:51And John the Baptist pointed Jesus and he says, But behold the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world, and so the uh idea is that we've all sinned and and we're all um uh unworthy, but instead of us having faith that we're you know, like Cain, oh, I hope I put uh enough barley on the altar, maybe a couple more handfuls will do it.
- 38:15Um instead, it's us saying, We've we've all sinned, we need help.
- 38:18And we're trusting in this lamb, having take so so God is just, he has to judge every sin because if he doesn't judge a sin by default, he'd be giving consent to the sin.
- 38:28And if God gives consent to one sin one time, he denies his just nature, he denies himself, and he cannot deny himself, so he has to judge every sin.
- 38:38But uh, he provides the lamb, and the lamb takes the judgment instead of us taking the judgment, and so that's what the Christians celebrate as the passion and Christ being crucified as the lamb as the sacrifice in our place.
- 38:54So the the thought is that the Jews had faith in the lamb to come, and Christians have faith in the lamb that came, but salvation is through the lamb.
- 39:06Um, that it's not us being good enough.
- 39:09Um, so that that's the overarching picture that the the Christian Passover that's celebrated as Easter.
- 39:18But then there's another interesting uh aspect is um the seven feasts of Israel, and so this is what um God uh gives to um Moses in in Leviticus.
- 39:34Um, and so there's uh seven feasts, and they're celebrated at three uh points of the year.
- 39:40So the the spring, 50 days later is Pentecost, and then at the end of the summer is the uh end of the wheat harvest.
- 39:49And so uh when you look at the dates of this, um it's it's interesting because um uh the
- 40:00The uh Hebrew uh day uh begins at sunset and goes to the next sunset, and so uh the feast of Passover is the 14th day of Nisan, and uh that's the name of the Hebrew month, and um so the um this is when Moses instructed every family to take a lamb, uh keep it in their house for three days, and then uh kill it, and then you know, roast it and then eat it, and then they go on the uh the very next day is is called the the feast of unleavened bread, and leaven is yeast, and it's symbolic of sin, and um all the yeast is taken out of the home.
- 40:51Um, and then the next the day after that is the feast of first fruits, and so this is um uh when you have the the end of the barley harvest and beginning of the the wheat harvest, and um they would take the the first shoots of the grain out of the ground and they cut it off and they'd wave it before the Lord.
- 41:15Um and then uh 50 days later uh is the feast of Pentecost, which is the uh beginning of the um uh the the wheat harvest and so forth.
- 41:31Um, and so anyway, now so those are the feasts that are in given in Leviticus.
- 41:38So Jesus is with the disciples, and he celebrates Passover on the evening of Passover, and the you know, the sun goes down, he celebrates Passover, but then the very next morning is when he is um crucified on the exact day of Passover.
- 42:01Um, and and so he uh is um in the Christian faith, uh the Passover lamb, the Paschal lamb uh sacrifice on the exact day of Passover, and and then he's put in the tomb, and they they they uh you know take him off the cross before sunset, and then they they put him in the tomb.
- 42:21So then he's in the tomb um that uh night, and the um uh the scriptures in the new testament says that how he takes the sin out of the world, and that leaven is sin.
- 42:35Uh the apostle Paul says, you know, purge yourself of the old leaven of malice and you know unrighteousness and and and and you know, partake of the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth, and uh, and then the day after that is the feast of first fruits, and uh that's the day that uh Jesus rose from the dead, and um, and so the um uh Christian faith is that Jesus fulfilled that, and the apostle Paul writes in First Corinthians 7, for even Christ, our Passover is sacrificed for us, and um, and then there's a chapter in the uh Old Testament.
- 43:18Um, that's Isaiah 53, and um the it says um uh surely he has took our pain and bore our suffering, and we considered him punished by God, stricken by him and afflicted.
- 43:34He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
- 43:42The Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
- 43:45He was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth, he was led as a lamb to the slaughter, as a sheep before his shears, he was silent, he was cut off from the land of the living for the transgressions of my people he was punished, yet it was the Lord's will to crush him, and um cause him to suffer.
- 44:04The Lord has made his life an offering for sin, and then it says, My righteous servant will justify many, and he will hear he will bear their iniquities for he bore the sins of many and made intercession for the transgression, transgression.
- 44:18That's um Isaiah chapter 53.
- 44:21So this is the um uh uh another another scripture.
- 44:29Here's Paul um in First Corinthians 5.
- 44:32Let us keep the feast not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth, and um so um uh the early church for the first three centuries was basically Jewish, and um, then as you had Greeks converting and Romans converting, you had uh these Gentiles that were now deciding to uh follow Christ, and then you have um Constantine, and he um for the first three centuries uh for the first century, Jews and Christians were persecuted together, and and the Romans really didn't see uh the difference between the two, and they said that you know that basically Christians was just uh another group of of Jews.
- 45:22Uh and then they started targeting them uh separately, but the persecutions continued.
- 45:27You had the one 35 AD Bar Kokba revolt where Hadrian, like you know, uh destroys every city and in the holy land and changes the name of the land from Judea to to Syria, Palestina, and then um, but there's 10 major persecutions of Christians and uh Nero and so forth and Diocletian and uh but but uh Constantine then becomes the emperor and he stops the persecution and everybody celebrates, and then you have uh uh the first heresy that starts, like a thing called Arianism, and um Constantine orders all the bishops to come to Nicaea to settle it, and they do.
- 46:07Um they write what's called the Nicene Creed.
- 46:10Um, but Constantine adds something.
- 46:15He decides that he wants to have one date to unify the Roman Empire, now that it's uh officially Christian, and so he decides he wants to celebrate Easter, but he wants it celebrated on a Sunday.
- 46:33Now as simple as that sounds that changed the uh practice of uh the Christians, and and many of them were Jewish Christians, instead of the Christians asking the Jews, hey, when's Passover this year?
- 46:51And it's based on the lunar calendar, because the Hebrews used a lunar calendar, um, and and um, but rather than asking the Jews, hey, when's Passover?
- 47:03Because it could fall on any day of the week, it could be earlier the year, it could be later, you know, in the spring.
- 47:08Um, instead, Constantine said, Um, I want to cut the ties with our with the Jewish heritage, and and I want to uh have Easter on a Sunday, uh no matter what day the 14th of Nisan falls on, forget that.
- 47:24Uh uh we're just gonna do it on a Sunday.
- 47:28And um, and so Constantine came up with a new formula.
- 47:33It's called the first Sunday after the first full moon after the spring equinox.
- 47:40And um uh from that point on, uh, you had uh church uh scholars plotting out in advance uh on this solar calendar because Constantine uh said no more lunar calendar, we're gonna do this solar calendar 360 days a year, uh a leap day every four years.
- 48:00Um and so um uh and so that was what's considered uh the official, and and there were still Christians um that were that was one of the first uh controversies in the early church, they were called 14thers.
- 48:18Um that was the name of the uh and and at the consul of Nicaea they decided to excommunicate anybody that was a fourteenther, uh that still believed that uh that um the Passover that Christians should celebrate the Passover uh and have uh Easter uh celebrated on the same day as Passover.
- 48:39Now, Easter actually it only appears one time in the King James Bible, um, because Easter is actually Esther, um, or Astarte, which is a Babylonian name, um, and um uh but every other place in the King James Bible and in every other Bible translation, the name was Paschal, which was uh another way of saying Passover.
- 49:05Um but uh but yeah, that was when um uh Constantine is the one that did the um the splitting of the uh gentile Christian church away from the Jewish church, and so now every now and then um the dates happen to line up again, and everybody's like, wow, this is pretty amazing.
- 49:29Uh Christians and Jews are celebrating on the same day.
- 49:32It's like, well, that's sort of the way it was supposed to be, you know.
- 49:35Um I find it so interesting that every ruler or every uh religious group has their own interpretation and has added something to what we are celebrating and the way we celebrate, and I guess that that is what makes it so easy to divide us.
- 49:58Um
- 50:00This history that intertwines us and makes should make us all realize that we are one and the same.
- 50:09We all believe in morality, we believe in goodness, we believe in atoning for our sins.
- 50:16We may do it slightly different depending upon where we come from, but basically it's all the same thing.
- 50:24We all love God, love our country, love family, and we really need to take a pause at this time and stop and say, what are we doing to each other?
- 50:35Because I think that um that's really what has happened in America.
- 50:42We have lost our focus, and we need to get it back.
- 50:46And and you know, it's interesting that um uh the other side, uh, you know, like Islam, uh, the Ayatollah says, you know, they want to destroy the little saints in Israel, the big Satan America, um, you know, they in their Islamic uh end times uh that they want to kill all the Christians and kill all the Jews, and it's like they they lump Christians and Jews together, they see the similarities, even though we see, oh, we're we're we got little differences from the outside, they're like, no, you're you're you're pretty much um, you know, got got more similarities than you have differences, and uh, and so again, uh what you were saying that we need to uh focus on what we have in common and um and and the and so you have um you know different presidents uh throughout history, and I have a website, uh, it's American Minute.com, and I put uh quotes on there of um you know the different presidents that uh acknowledged uh Passover and how special it was, and you know, all the all the different prophecies and things like that, remind ourselves of this rich history.
- 52:03Yes, we need to do that, folks.
- 52:05And that I believe is what makes America special is the fact that we have the ability to say, okay, we may have had original differences, but we've also had original similarities, and instead of like we said, focusing on our differences, we should focus on the things that bring us together and stop fighting each other, because that is what the uh people who are the non-believers, the agnostic, the uh people who you know want to eliminate God and worship, I have no idea what uh worship themselves, worship mankind, worship the government, and that's that is not what America was about.
- 52:52And during this time when history is so rich, we have to not lose sight of what it is and put it back in our schools so that our children understand the richness of what America is all about.
- 53:08Uh, we need to get back to our roots and and uh yes, it's wonderful to look forward, but we also have to look behind and see because that's what got us where we are, and if we don't know our history, uh America is lost, and we can't allow that to happen.
- 53:26Bill, tell everyone again where they can find you.
- 53:29Bill's writings are fantastic.
- 53:31He sends out a newsletter, and each newsletter has a new tidbit of American history, and I know that on his website, all of his history lessons are archived, and it's something that you should go through with your family and remind yourselves what America is all about, especially now as we celebrate our 250th anniversary.
- 53:57Uh, Bill, where can people find you and some of your wonderful books?
- 54:02Well, thank you.
- 54:03My um uh website is AmericanMinute.com, American Minute.com.
- 54:09And I've written about 30 books and have my videos and different podcasts and so forth there.
- 54:16Um, I was gonna put out a here's a quote from Ronald Reagan uh in 1982.
- 54:22He says, We just celebrated the happiest and holiest day of the Christian faith, and we're in the sixth of the eight days of Passover as a reminder of our nation's Judeo-Christian tradition.
- 54:34And um, and so the um the things that we see in common the Bible faith, uh, Jews and Christians, it gave birth to the concept of the individual that you, book of Genesis, you individually are made in the image of God, and this God is not a respecter of persons, and uh, and so every other belief system in the world, your worth is dependent on what group you belong to.
- 55:05If you're a Muslim male, you're worth more than a Muslim female.
- 55:08Mohammed said that it takes two women to testify in court against one man because a woman's mind is deficient, right?
- 55:14In Egypt, they have a marriage license, one name for a man and four names for the wives, and four lines for the wives' names.
- 55:20Uh, in India, they have a caste system.
- 55:23And if you're born as a Brahmin in the highest caste, you're worse worth more than an untouchable that in the lowest caste that has to take care of the garbage.
- 55:30And uh, if you're in a communist country, you're if you're a communist party member, you're worth more.
- 55:37If you're not, you have to live in the poor neighborhoods and uh atheistic, you know, countries, your worth is dependent on your utility.
- 55:43If you're useful to society, you're worth more.
- 55:45And if you're not useful, you're a drain on society, you're worth less.
- 55:48It's the Bible faith that says, no, you're worth something simply because you're made in the image of God, period.
- 55:54And he's not a respecter person, so we're all equal.
- 55:56Yes, a Bible concept that is foundational to America.
- 56:02Yes, it is, and unfortunately, we are losing that, and we have to get it back.
- 56:07Thank you so much, Bill.
- 56:08I appreciate everything you do, and wonderful history lesson, and uh have a wonderful Easter and happy Passover.
- 56:16And this is this is Karen Schoen, and you are listening to the Prism of America's Education brought to you on the America Out Loud.news network.
