- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome in.
- 0:01Speaker 2: It is a five dollars Tuesday here on the best
- 0:04Speaker 2: betting show ever and at wadro talk dot com. It
- 0:08Speaker 2: also happens to be double the fun because it's a
- 0:10Speaker 2: press free zone today except Brian Powers here. Never mind,
- 0:15Speaker 2: it is five dollars Tuesday here. Thought maybe the show
- 0:18Speaker 2: would have gotten better, but nope. Instead, always a pleasure
- 0:22Speaker 2: to see you. BP aren't the caesar in the house, gentlemen,
- 0:28Speaker 2: or getting good to get football back, isn't it? Man?
- 0:31Speaker 2: I mean we got Thursday. It's gonna be huge, a
- 0:34Speaker 2: lot of already a lot of money coming in when
- 0:38Speaker 2: it comes to the preseason football. We'll talk a little
- 0:41Speaker 2: bit about that coming up. Of course, we'll have some
- 0:44Speaker 2: future bets for you in the NFL, some awards market,
- 0:47Speaker 2: some college football, you name it, we've got it, Major
- 0:50Speaker 2: League Baseball, Rundown coming your way also. But as customary,
- 0:55Speaker 2: we like to figure out where the books lost last
- 0:58Speaker 2: night or won and what did we get art? What
- 1:01Speaker 2: kind of night was it for the books?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Well, the Dodgers finally won, so they got back up
- 1:07Speaker 3: the track. They didn't cover that run in a half. Yeah,
- 1:11Speaker 3: a lot of people gonna play that run and a half.
- 1:14Speaker 3: You know, I would say it's it was probably a
- 1:16Speaker 3: break even type of night for the books. There weren't
- 1:18Speaker 3: a lot of shocks, to be honest with you, or
- 1:21Speaker 3: you know, the Sharps felt like they kind of split public,
- 1:24Speaker 3: kind of split on things. Like I said, I mean,
- 1:27Speaker 3: the Dodgers are gonna help the parlay betters. But you know,
- 1:31Speaker 3: it was a smaller slate in baseball yesterday, so probably not.
- 1:34Speaker 4: Much to report.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah, a couple of the Lake I mean the school
- 1:38Speaker 2: ball facing Kansas City. You seeing them like twelve times already,
- 1:41Speaker 2: which is hysterical, is always fun there, but some of
- 1:44Speaker 2: those Lake games are actually pretty entertaining. Uh, you know
- 1:49Speaker 2: the Brewers and the Padres, now they're under there.
- 1:52Speaker 1: That's a shock, you know.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Myze pitch well, Henderson pitched well game two of that
- 1:57Speaker 2: series coming up here with Harrison and tonight and Houston
- 2:02Speaker 2: actually beating I believe was it the Giants last night
- 2:06Speaker 2: here in a tough spot.
- 2:08Speaker 1: So all in all, it was a good night for you, BP.
- 2:11Speaker 1: How'd you do last night?
- 2:13Speaker 5: It was our best bet was so good. As a
- 2:16Speaker 5: matter of fact, we survived extra innings. It was the
- 2:18Speaker 5: under on the Rangers and Angels tenth inning. It wasn't
- 2:22Speaker 5: even a sweat even with the extra inning we had
- 2:23Speaker 5: under eight and a half. Texas won it in the
- 2:26Speaker 5: tenth four to one. But the game pretty much went
- 2:29Speaker 5: as I expected, with two good performances from the starting
- 2:33Speaker 5: pitchers and three debt meers. But still this poor bastard
- 2:38Speaker 5: still can't win at home. But you mentioned the Giants, Joe,
- 2:42Speaker 5: thoughts and prayers to anyone who bet them plus one
- 2:44Speaker 5: and a half. They let the Astros tie in the
- 2:46Speaker 5: knife and then they lose by three and extras. That
- 2:48Speaker 5: sucked for anyone who. I don't know, too many people
- 2:50Speaker 5: are if they were running to the window to bet
- 2:52Speaker 5: the Giants plus one and a half.
- 2:53Speaker 6: But no, anyone who did that sucks.
- 2:57Speaker 2: I guess got destroyed air two as well on it.
- 3:01Speaker 1: Yep, yep, that's a good point there. I forgot about that.
- 3:05Speaker 2: Other than that Red Sox still blow, So that's good.
- 3:08Speaker 2: Back down to back to life, back to reality has
- 3:12Speaker 2: sold to soul once said there.
- 3:13Speaker 1: But yeah, he's got that on his on his walkman.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Let's go to some sharp bets here tonight, there, Art,
- 3:25Speaker 2: what are the sharps looking?
- 3:27Speaker 1: I got some two or three w NBA games here tonight.
- 3:31Speaker 4: Yeah, they bet one of them overnight.
- 3:32Speaker 3: They took the Sparks under undermine or under one in
- 3:36Speaker 3: that game. They're on two MLB sides are on the Rangers,
- 3:39Speaker 3: they're on the Braves.
- 3:40Speaker 2: On the Rangers and the Braves. We're gonna Mets all
- 3:45Speaker 2: of a sudden deciding to play some baseball. Ridiculous that
- 3:49Speaker 2: is there, I believe. Well, I think we sucked, but
- 3:54Speaker 2: I'll just blame the pres on the Parlay of the
- 3:56Speaker 2: Day yesterday.
- 3:57Speaker 1: So let's just call it what it is. Way to go,
- 4:00Speaker 1: press Buck.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Gives us an opportunity to get down here though, and
- 4:06Speaker 2: get and right the ship here a little bit. So BP,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you are up first, give us your first leg into
- 4:13Speaker 2: Parlay of the day here.
- 4:15Speaker 6: All right, Well, hey, we.
- 4:16Speaker 5: Only need to get three legs right instead of four
- 4:18Speaker 5: getting fourced tough joe to do. But let's go with
- 4:21Speaker 5: Milwaukee to get things going. That you mentioned the tough
- 4:23Speaker 5: loss they had against San Diego. This Walker Buller non
- 4:26Speaker 5: sense needs to stopped. How do the Padres keep winning
- 4:28Speaker 5: with this guy in the mount is eras over five
- 4:31Speaker 5: his last five starts. I think Milwaukee bounces back after
- 4:35Speaker 5: an unlucky loss last night, so we're throwing in a parlay.
- 4:39Speaker 6: This price is coming down too, which is a little odd.
- 4:43Speaker 6: So but I don't know. I like the brew crew.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Whatt a very interesting line movement here? How about you are?
- 4:48Speaker 1: Which side are you looking at here? Tonight? For us?
- 4:51Speaker 3: I'm taking under eight minus one twenty in the Yankee
- 4:55Speaker 3: Mariner game?
- 4:57Speaker 1: Under eight? Is that what we're going under?
- 5:00Speaker 4: Mm hmm yep.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Screwed me over because I'm going I'm going Yankees minus
- 5:08Speaker 2: what one twenty?
- 5:09Speaker 1: What are they are? One twenty five, six, six thirty yep?
- 5:15Speaker 2: Yeah, WU is not good on the road people, and
- 5:18Speaker 2: Seattle is watching them try.
- 5:20Speaker 1: To hit is laughable.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Uh so yeah, I'll take the Yankees at a short
- 5:25Speaker 2: price and that will be our parlay today. All was
- 5:29Speaker 2: there a little same game parlay we got going on
- 5:31Speaker 2: the art also, So.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Kudos to us there, Now go ahead, VP, you got your.
- 5:41Speaker 5: It was a little bit, I go, a little bit
- 5:42Speaker 5: of clearing of the throat, if you will. But I
- 5:45Speaker 5: was going to support you, Joe and say the Yankees,
- 5:48Speaker 5: you know, actually did this. Yankees and under has been correlated.
- 5:51Speaker 5: They've been winning a lot of low scoring.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Games, Okay, so let's go back to UH, let's go.
- 6:02Speaker 4: The UH.
- 6:03Speaker 6: Trying to help the guy out.
- 6:04Speaker 2: I'm just saying, let's go back to the predicted markets
- 6:07Speaker 2: and then we'll do a little business here on a
- 6:09Speaker 2: five dollars Tuesday, which those of you are joining us
- 6:12Speaker 2: for the first time, you'll understand it's all best bets
- 6:15Speaker 2: are just five bucks over at wager talk dot com.
- 6:19Speaker 2: So I think it is safe to say, after I
- 6:24Speaker 2: believe fastest to two or second fastest to two hundred
- 6:27Speaker 2: strikeouts that would have been Misseroski and his last start there.
- 6:31Speaker 1: Uh, it's pretty.
- 6:33Speaker 2: Much safe to say, at least I think aret right,
- 6:36Speaker 2: just give him the award. The last time I looked,
- 6:39Speaker 2: it was absurd. What the what the cy young number
- 6:43Speaker 2: was there for?
- 6:44Speaker 1: Miss?
- 6:45Speaker 2: Is it so impressive and so good that I don't know,
- 6:49Speaker 2: could he actually get the UH any other types of
- 6:53Speaker 2: awards there as well? Maybe MVP because he doesn't look
- 6:58Speaker 2: like he's slowing down anytime soon.
- 7:00Speaker 1: And I don't know, man, he just two. I'm many
- 7:04Speaker 1: striker is gonna get two fifty to sixty.
- 7:06Speaker 2: When's the last time we had that kind of strikedown
- 7:09Speaker 2: prowess in Major League Baseball?
- 7:13Speaker 1: Wrider Strider twenty two and twenty three. Yeah, he blew
- 7:19Speaker 1: his arm out basically right that it.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Was that it was twenty two and twenty three and
- 7:23Speaker 2: he ended up blowing out I believe right, blew out
- 7:26Speaker 2: his uh his arm after the twenty three.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Season, right since he has not been.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Even remotely close to being right ever since there, So,
- 7:37Speaker 2: uh yeah, I mean to him right now. Chris Sale
- 7:39Speaker 2: is the only other person in it, And the only
- 7:42Speaker 2: reason I'm saying it is because Misseraki is about eighty
- 7:45Speaker 2: five cents. I don't unless you think I don't know.
- 7:50Speaker 2: I mean, Sale is interesting. I'm not buying Sanchez. Uh
- 7:54Speaker 2: so unless you think something crazy is gonna He's already
- 7:58Speaker 2: done enough basically in that mark art to cash it.
- 8:01Speaker 1: I'm thinking, Oh, I would agree with that.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, the American League's a little bit more
- 8:07Speaker 3: interesting than I mean the National League's done. And as
- 8:09Speaker 3: far as well, he'll get probably third fourth place votes
- 8:14Speaker 3: for MVP, yes, but you know the majority of the
- 8:18Speaker 3: first and second place votes will be taken up by
- 8:20Speaker 3: PCA and Otani. But would shock me if he got
- 8:22Speaker 3: votes and maybe finished third or fourth in that voting.
- 8:26Speaker 1: That wouldn't shock me either. Because I don't.
- 8:28Speaker 2: Usually it's always such a you know, it's a very
- 8:31Speaker 2: player orient but we all know that if Otani just
- 8:36Speaker 2: was a pitcher, just a pitcher and actually stayed on
- 8:40Speaker 2: the mound for a full season, he'd be that, yes,
- 8:43Speaker 2: not Young at MVP candidate all day long, all day long,
- 8:47Speaker 2: if he just went that route there, What do you
- 8:49Speaker 2: think of BP?
- 8:52Speaker 5: Last time, just for the record, last time we saw
- 8:54Speaker 5: a guy hit three hundred strikeouts in a season was
- 8:56Speaker 5: Garrett Cole in twenty nineteen.
- 8:59Speaker 6: I think for me to get the MVP, like he would.
- 9:03Speaker 5: Have to hit some magical number, right, some magical model
- 9:05Speaker 5: where people are like, oh, we've never seen this before.
- 9:07Speaker 5: I cause I think the voters are always going to
- 9:09Speaker 5: defer in the end because the pitchers have their quote
- 9:12Speaker 5: own award with the cy Young They're going to defer
- 9:14Speaker 5: as long as the Cubs finished strong and strong, it's
- 9:18Speaker 5: his award to lose. Obviously, major market people like to
- 9:21Speaker 5: cut out that the voters should pay attention to that,
- 9:23Speaker 5: but they do.
- 9:25Speaker 6: And so.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I think he doesn't have to pitch an either NA
- 9:30Speaker 2: and I think he's already locked it up there. But yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 2: Young And I think also here the American League, to
- 9:37Speaker 2: your point, is also interesting. Now Dylan CEA's pitches tonight,
- 9:41Speaker 2: I believe, yes, what happened last night.
- 9:45Speaker 1: With Sonny Gray? Did Sonny Gray? Uh? Or was it together?
- 9:49Speaker 1: Not two nights ago? Right? He pitched?
- 9:51Speaker 4: Well, well, yeah, he pitched twelve.
- 9:54Speaker 1: Who wins this? Then? Is it Schlittler? Is it Dylan Cease?
- 9:58Speaker 2: I mean, Sonny Gray has got to be getting some
- 10:01Speaker 2: love somewhere in the market there.
- 10:02Speaker 6: Now here's the thing.
- 10:06Speaker 5: Schlitler pitches a for the Yankees and B that's a
- 10:10Speaker 5: team that's gonna be in a pennant chase like Dylan
- 10:12Speaker 5: Cees would have. The onus is on Cease to be
- 10:16Speaker 5: especially dominant because he's pitching for a team that probably
- 10:19Speaker 5: isn't gonna make the playoffs. And again, these awards they
- 10:22Speaker 5: tend to go to teams that your players on, teams
- 10:25Speaker 5: that make the postseason, barring in other worldly seasons. So
- 10:30Speaker 5: you know, as things stand right now, Schlitler is the
- 10:32Speaker 5: deserve favorite in that market. It would take you know,
- 10:35Speaker 5: a real strong and Cease has been great. Schlitler, you know,
- 10:39Speaker 5: at home at least had been a little suspect before
- 10:41Speaker 5: the other day.
- 10:42Speaker 6: But I don't know.
- 10:43Speaker 5: I think Schlitzler's the rightful favorite in that market, Joe,
- 10:46Speaker 5: But yeah, I think there's a void for a third
- 10:48Speaker 5: guy to come up.
- 10:50Speaker 2: He's been absurd though, like Cease has been. Really when
- 10:53Speaker 2: you dive into some of the numbers there are, it's
- 10:56Speaker 2: he has been absolutely on him. People aren't you can't
- 10:59Speaker 2: score on the guy he's getting the strikeouts. I mean,
- 11:02Speaker 2: he has been very, very good. But I don't know,
- 11:06Speaker 2: is it the next couple of weeks, the next couple
- 11:08Speaker 2: of starts gonna decide who wins this or is it
- 11:10Speaker 2: just Schlittler At this point we should jump in at
- 11:13Speaker 2: fifty seven cents where it gets crazier.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, SE's definitely closed the gap, right, I mean,
- 11:18Speaker 3: I remember when we were talking about Schlitler, maybe even
- 11:21Speaker 3: a couple of months ago, he looked like he was
- 11:23Speaker 3: running away with it. But to be pace point, like
- 11:26Speaker 3: with Cease not being in a pennant race here or
- 11:28Speaker 3: even a wildcard race like, his numbers would almost have
- 11:30Speaker 3: to be double as good as Slittler's and they're not.
- 11:35Speaker 3: So Schlittler being Yankee pitching as well as he is,
- 11:37Speaker 3: he's the ace of the team.
- 11:40Speaker 4: If he just continues doing what he's doing, he'll win
- 11:42Speaker 4: the award.
- 11:46Speaker 2: It just feels like this is gonna go back and forth,
- 11:49Speaker 2: like if Dylan Seas comes out, dominated's a couple of
- 11:51Speaker 2: more starts, and it just feels like it's gonna be
- 11:55Speaker 2: back and forth with both on the But I think
- 11:57Speaker 2: we can both agree it's gonna be a two horse
- 11:59Speaker 2: race here, guy, anybody else gonna be Uh, there's no
- 12:02Speaker 2: dark horse here right in the American League. Oh no,
- 12:06Speaker 2: it's yeah, it's gonna be now. That begs the question.
- 12:10Speaker 2: Then also in the American League, because it feels like
- 12:13Speaker 2: the American League there's still a lot more unsettled than
- 12:17Speaker 2: except for I think the MVP, which I believe we
- 12:20Speaker 2: can all believe is you're Don Alvarez, right, Uh, I
- 12:23Speaker 2: know he's gonna get the triple crown.
- 12:25Speaker 1: At this point, I think we all can say that,
- 12:28Speaker 1: what about the Manager of the Year.
- 12:31Speaker 2: This is fascinating because, yeah, Chad Tracy, to me, may
- 12:37Speaker 2: will be you know, sitting in the seat of one
- 12:39Speaker 2: of the greatest turnarounds that we have seen in a
- 12:43Speaker 2: very very long time.
- 12:45Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 12:46Speaker 2: You guys have the white sox on your Bengal list
- 12:49Speaker 2: for having the kind of year that that they had here.
- 12:52Speaker 2: I mean, Art, what's more impressive here? Kevin Cash with
- 12:55Speaker 2: that roster and still manages to figure it out in Tampa,
- 12:59Speaker 2: Tracey see that. I mean the White Sox, who is it?
- 13:04Speaker 3: It should be the White Sox manager. But if the
- 13:07Speaker 3: Red Sox win the division at which they can, I
- 13:12Speaker 3: mean we talked about this one the other day that
- 13:14Speaker 3: you know, the Rays haven't run and hidden this division.
- 13:17Speaker 3: You know, basically the Red Sox have almost jumped the
- 13:19Speaker 3: Yankees here for second, so a lot of baseball left.
- 13:22Speaker 3: I think if the Red Sox were to win that division,
- 13:26Speaker 3: there should be strong consideration for Manager of the Year.
- 13:28Speaker 3: But you know, you look at the White Sex. I
- 13:30Speaker 3: think a lot of people had them improved. But what
- 13:32Speaker 3: was their win total?
- 13:33Speaker 4: Still in the what high sixties? Was gonna win the right?
- 13:38Speaker 6: I mean it was high sixties. I think it closed.
- 13:41Speaker 3: They might close and a half, yeah, sure, but opened right,
- 13:45Speaker 3: high sixties and they're gonna go win a division. You
- 13:48Speaker 3: go win a division doing that, I mean you got
- 13:50Speaker 3: to be the manager of the year.
- 13:52Speaker 5: Yeah, And that's typically what the voters look for is
- 13:54Speaker 5: over performance relative to season expectations. I would echo at
- 13:57Speaker 5: Art said, if the White Sox win the division and
- 13:59Speaker 5: the Red Sox do not, then Venable will win this award.
- 14:04Speaker 1: And you know Kevin ca well, he feels like he
- 14:07Speaker 1: wins it and gets votes every year.
- 14:09Speaker 6: Well, the thing is Tampa Bay.
- 14:11Speaker 5: While Tampa Bay has exceeded expectations as well. We've seen
- 14:15Speaker 5: this from Tampa Bay before, for we've seen him compete
- 14:18Speaker 5: and so yeah, whereas this White Sox team was, you know,
- 14:23Speaker 5: in the dump so much the last couple of years.
- 14:25Speaker 6: To go from a one hundred and.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Lost season to winning a division, that's what people look
- 14:29Speaker 5: for in these you know, any source, these Coach of
- 14:32Speaker 5: the Year, manager or the Year awards. It's when you
- 14:35Speaker 5: have a big jump in wins year over year and
- 14:38Speaker 5: especially when you exceed that preseason expectation win total.
- 14:42Speaker 2: So, do the White Sox have to win the division
- 14:44Speaker 2: in order to make the postseason or where are they
- 14:47Speaker 2: in the whole mix of dames?
- 14:50Speaker 5: So No, because you're gonna get three the three teams
- 14:56Speaker 5: from the East. I think we're all going to agree,
- 14:57Speaker 5: we're going to make it right no matter what the
- 14:59Speaker 5: order of finishes racing.
- 15:00Speaker 2: Okay, right, I saw had Boston at ninety to make
- 15:05Speaker 2: the postseason there, so.
- 15:07Speaker 1: That's pretty much locked in. Well, what about the Central,
- 15:10Speaker 1: I mean, who's left?
- 15:13Speaker 6: Well, I have look.
- 15:14Speaker 5: I said it when they traded school, I said, don't
- 15:17Speaker 5: write the Tigers off. I know, run differentials and everything.
- 15:20Speaker 5: People get in the comments section all the time and say, oh,
- 15:22Speaker 5: you put too much stock in that.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Look.
- 15:24Speaker 6: I think it's a great predictor of future.
- 15:25Speaker 5: The Tigers have a ridiculous run differential this year, They've
- 15:28Speaker 5: been very unlucky in one run games.
- 15:30Speaker 6: I think they still have a shot.
- 15:31Speaker 5: So you're gonna have three teams, including the two division
- 15:34Speaker 5: champions obviously from the Central and West, and one wildcard.
- 15:38Speaker 5: And you look at the White Sox relative to second
- 15:40Speaker 5: place in the West. If they are usurped by the
- 15:44Speaker 5: Tigers and the division or somebody else, I don't personally,
- 15:46Speaker 5: I'm kind of a seller on the.
- 15:47Speaker 6: Guardians and Twins.
- 15:49Speaker 5: They still can get the wild card, so I don't
- 15:51Speaker 5: think they need necessarily to make the to win the
- 15:55Speaker 5: division to make the playoffs.
- 15:57Speaker 6: But if not winning the division would hurt Venables.
- 15:59Speaker 5: Manager of the Year did a little bit, but he
- 16:02Speaker 5: I guess he could still win even.
- 16:04Speaker 2: If I think he can still win no, or yeah,
- 16:08Speaker 2: I think they can absolutely still get it because you're
- 16:10Speaker 2: still exceeding that win total.
- 16:11Speaker 6: I mean, you're still gonna be in the high eighties.
- 16:13Speaker 5: You're gonna go over your win total by double digits,
- 16:16Speaker 5: and so yeah, I mean that's yeah.
- 16:19Speaker 4: Now you're talking about like fifteen games over their win total.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Bass correct, which is crazy, right, crazy?
- 16:26Speaker 2: Lots still to be decided here in the American League,
- 16:28Speaker 2: which makes the next you know, four to six weeks
- 16:31Speaker 2: gonna be very very interesting here down the stretch. All right,
- 16:36Speaker 2: we have some football talk coming up NFL as well
- 16:40Speaker 2: as college football here. In the meantime, Major League Baseball
- 16:44Speaker 2: will run down the schedule. But of course we do
- 16:48Speaker 2: need to talk about some business here. Even though the
- 16:51Speaker 2: pres is not here, I will tell you he's got

- 18:17Speaker 2: page mind. The pres has got one up there but
- 18:21Speaker 2: can't go. As a matter of fact, all three of
- 18:22Speaker 2: us with the best bets go get them for five
- 18:24Speaker 2: dollars each On Customer Appreciation Day. That is the best
- 18:28Speaker 2: way to approach it. All, Right, guys, let's talk int
- 18:31Speaker 2: the NFL preseason Week one is almost upon us and
- 18:36Speaker 2: art big picture here for preseason football. We mentioned this
- 18:42Speaker 2: a couple of weeks ago, where it feels like the
- 18:47Speaker 2: people who bet preseason bet preseason and you're.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Not gonna get a lot of public money one way
- 18:53Speaker 1: or the other. Art is that right?
- 18:54Speaker 2: But some of these line moves get a little crazy
- 18:58Speaker 2: here through the first cup weeks in the preseason, right
- 19:02Speaker 2: they do.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Being in the back of a risk room being a bookmaker.
- 19:04Speaker 3: When you put these lines up, whether it's Sunday or Monday,
- 19:07Speaker 3: for an upcoming week like this where obviously you got
- 19:09Speaker 3: games on Thursday, you see movement right away. And yeah,
- 19:14Speaker 3: do you get public people, A couple of people in
- 19:17Speaker 3: town for the weekend, maybe they see their teams playing
- 19:19Speaker 3: that day, they throw a couple bucks down. But obviously
- 19:22Speaker 3: that's not what moves these lines the way they do.
- 19:24Speaker 3: We see plenty of teams who are favored end up
- 19:26Speaker 3: being dogs. By the time the game kicks. You see
- 19:29Speaker 3: totals move four or five six points sometimes. So you
- 19:32Speaker 3: see a lot of early stuff in the week, then
- 19:34Speaker 3: you see a lot of late stuff. Maybe one group's
- 19:36Speaker 3: in early and then another group comes in late pushes
- 19:39Speaker 3: the number back. So you know, as far as whether
- 19:41Speaker 3: you're a better or you're in a back room trying
- 19:44Speaker 3: to make these numbers and trying to.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Stay up with it, it could be challenging.
- 19:49Speaker 1: You DABBLEBP at all in the preseason. Here, what do
- 19:53Speaker 1: you look at the preseason?
- 19:55Speaker 6: If I see something, sure we'll jump on.
- 19:57Speaker 5: But I've decreased my volume in that because just getting
- 20:00Speaker 5: ready for the regular season. We're getting ready for soccer.
- 20:02Speaker 5: But I mean, look, and everyone understands this. Here's just
- 20:05Speaker 5: kind of like a case in point to illustrate what
- 20:07Speaker 5: we're saying. Obviously so much information based betting the preseason. Jacksonville,
- 20:11Speaker 5: about an hour before we recorded Okay, announced they're not
- 20:14Speaker 5: playing the starters in the first game.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Against New Orleans.
- 20:17Speaker 5: Well this is they open minus one, they open as
- 20:20Speaker 5: a slight favorite, and they're now getting three, three and
- 20:22Speaker 5: a half in New Orleans for that game on Saturday.
- 20:25Speaker 5: So I mean these numbers, I mean, the news comes
- 20:27Speaker 5: out and these numbers move quick, guys. I mean, you
- 20:29Speaker 5: guys understand that are probably better than anybody, But that's
- 20:32Speaker 5: just what you're up against here, man. Yeah, you got
- 20:34Speaker 5: to if you see news, if you're betting on information,
- 20:37Speaker 5: you got to go quick, man, because I mean, otherwise
- 20:40Speaker 5: you're the wrong end of a four point line move,
- 20:42Speaker 5: and typically that is not a smart way to bet,
- 20:45Speaker 5: to follow them monk to be after line moves by
- 20:48Speaker 5: that many points.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it's to me, I think it's all about quarterbacks.
- 20:55Speaker 2: What quarterback is going to be in the third or
- 20:57Speaker 2: fourth quarter, because that's when the game is either going
- 20:59Speaker 2: to be won or lost or covered or not one
- 21:02Speaker 2: way or the other. I think there are a couple
- 21:04Speaker 2: of very intriguing spots to keep.
- 21:07Speaker 1: An eye on here, and I think one of them are.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Your neck of the woods. So we got a quarterback
- 21:14Speaker 2: battle still do we not?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Here?
- 21:16Speaker 2: With is it Cousins, is it Mendoza? Both are likely
- 21:22Speaker 2: going to play, are they not? I don't see any
- 21:24Speaker 2: reason why neither would play there. You also have Aidan
- 21:28Speaker 2: O'Connell in the mix. There also seems very intriguing about
- 21:33Speaker 2: how these how the preseason goes for those three quarterbacks.
- 21:37Speaker 1: We know they're going to.
- 21:38Speaker 2: Want to try to get Mendoza in there, but I
- 21:41Speaker 2: don't know, are we confident that Kirk Cousins is going
- 21:44Speaker 2: to be the starter here?
- 21:47Speaker 3: I mean, all the reports are he is going to start.
- 21:49Speaker 3: It's just a matter of when when does Mendoza take over?
- 21:53Speaker 4: Is it week four?
- 21:54Speaker 3: Is it week you know, what is the kind of
- 21:57Speaker 3: point of Hey, when do we put this guy in?
- 22:00Speaker 4: You mentioned Daniel O'Connell.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Two.
- 22:02Speaker 3: He's going to be playing his butt off as well,
- 22:03Speaker 3: because he's done in the NFL. Yeah, he's auditioning, right,
- 22:08Speaker 3: I mean, obviously it's not going to be in Vegas
- 22:10Speaker 3: that he's going to make his market anymore. But listen,
- 22:12Speaker 3: he's a guy who's been around and taking snaps in
- 22:14Speaker 3: the league, so of course he's gonna go out there.
- 22:16Speaker 4: And he's a professional quarterback.
- 22:17Speaker 3: So yeah, And I think even with Mendoza, I don't
- 22:20Speaker 3: know how much they're they'll even give him in you know,
- 22:23Speaker 3: the preseason, right, it's only three games now, I don't know.
- 22:26Speaker 3: I think you know what you got when you draft
- 22:28Speaker 3: a kid number one. You know he's a couple, right,
- 22:33Speaker 3: you get the reps. But you know, I think they.
- 22:38Speaker 1: Are they keeping three quarterbacks?
- 22:40Speaker 4: It's a good question.
- 22:41Speaker 2: It's interesting and what is going to be the backup
- 22:45Speaker 2: quarterback situation for the Rams because we know BP Stafford's
- 22:49Speaker 2: not going to sniff the field in preseason, which means
- 22:52Speaker 2: they got a guy that they picked in the first round.
- 22:56Speaker 2: And what is it Stetson Bennett. Who's the backup now
- 22:58Speaker 2: for the Rams? There not Jimmy.
- 23:00Speaker 5: No nobody values the preseason less than Sean McVay, right,
- 23:07Speaker 5: So yeah, I mean, yeah, you're not gonna see a
- 23:09Speaker 5: lot all. It's interesting the Rams. The Rams are fit
- 23:12Speaker 5: the forty nine ers. By the way, the we're out
- 23:13Speaker 5: of camp again is that everybody's injured. So it's interesting
- 23:17Speaker 5: that the Rams. When the Rams play the forty nine
- 23:20Speaker 5: Ers next Thursday, they're actually favored in that game. The
- 23:24Speaker 5: Rams are a dog in the first preseason game to
- 23:26Speaker 5: Kansas City.
- 23:27Speaker 2: For the record, I listen black Owes the backup to Burrow, right,
- 23:33Speaker 2: Josh Johnson on there, Sean Clifford in there. There are
- 23:37Speaker 2: some very interesting backup spots here. How much is Mahomes
- 23:41Speaker 2: gonna say? Which means justin Fields Garrett, who's going to
- 23:45Speaker 2: back up Mahomes this year?
- 23:47Speaker 1: Who is it?
- 23:48Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:49Speaker 5: Well, an interesting thing too, going back to the Hall
- 23:51Speaker 5: of Fame game, the one thing that we have under
- 23:53Speaker 5: our belt? Is you don't know we could say, oh
- 23:55Speaker 5: this guy, what are we gonna see? Carson back looked
- 23:57Speaker 5: incredible exactly.
- 24:00Speaker 6: I mean Kenny Picking, they were just slinging all over.
- 24:02Speaker 5: The field, you know, heines king, my god, it looked like.
- 24:08Speaker 1: That is how you profited preseason. It's all about the quarterbacks.
- 24:13Speaker 2: All about the quarterbacks in the second half of these games,
- 24:16Speaker 2: and especially ones that are either auditioning. I mean Pittsburgh
- 24:21Speaker 2: Aaron Rodgers, what was he going to see?
- 24:23Speaker 1: You know? So that means Mason Rudolph.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Will Howard and Drew Alarm remember him from Penn State
- 24:29Speaker 2: where everyone thought he was going to be. But again,
- 24:31Speaker 2: these guys are the other guys are all auditioning and
- 24:35Speaker 2: legit here Jalen Hurts, you won't see is it?
- 24:38Speaker 1: Andy Doltler, Tanne McGee. Those are the battles.
- 24:42Speaker 2: I think that are going to decide how these games
- 24:44Speaker 2: get done here in week one, Week two, and week three.
- 24:48Speaker 2: So concentrate on the quarterback battles with some of these teams,
- 24:52Speaker 2: and I think that is the way you can approach
- 24:54Speaker 2: some of these preseason matchups because that's what I'm looking for.
- 24:57Speaker 1: Who's backing up.
- 24:58Speaker 2: Who here, Kate club Dick, Come on, Kate, I need
- 25:02Speaker 2: to beat Gino.
- 25:03Speaker 5: That would be great, particularly when you've got some of
- 25:06Speaker 5: these young and hungry tigers too, right, Joe, I mean,
- 25:08Speaker 5: obviously have a veteran involved in a backup battle. The veteran,
- 25:13Speaker 5: you know what he is. The team kind of knows
- 25:14Speaker 5: what he is. But if it's these younger guys that
- 25:17Speaker 5: have something to prove, they play with the chip on
- 25:19Speaker 5: their shoulder again, Carson Beck, Haines King the examples we've
- 25:24Speaker 5: already seen so far this preseason.
- 25:26Speaker 1: Yep, I agree.
- 25:27Speaker 4: I think coaches to young coaches.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Yeah, great call too. Also still trying to figure figure
- 25:33Speaker 2: it out there. And yes, especially come uh second half,
- 25:37Speaker 2: I like that, like that, like.
- 25:39Speaker 1: That a lot.
- 25:40Speaker 2: All right, guys, we do have uh of course, yesterday
- 25:43Speaker 2: we talked about the NFL leading rusher.
- 25:47Speaker 1: Any thoughts on.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Who the leading receiver is going to be as far
- 25:53Speaker 2: as yards go, Who's going to catch the most fast,
- 25:56Speaker 2: most yards here? When you look at the future art
- 26:00Speaker 2: for wide receivers this year, and there's a lot of
- 26:03Speaker 2: new ones too in the league here, a lot of
- 26:06Speaker 2: highly touted, you know, rookies that are going to be
- 26:09Speaker 2: taken going to be taking the field?
- 26:12Speaker 1: Who are you? How do you even approach this?
- 26:14Speaker 2: Who do you think has got the right quarterback coach
- 26:16Speaker 2: combination to lead the league?
- 26:20Speaker 3: I just when I went through it, I was looking
- 26:21Speaker 3: for value, and you know, I saw a lot of
- 26:23Speaker 3: ten and twelve the ones on him, But circa at
- 26:26Speaker 3: seventeen to one on CD Lamb. If you look at
- 26:29Speaker 3: probably like the last three, four or five years, you
- 26:31Speaker 3: basically have to be in the seventeen hundred yard range
- 26:34Speaker 3: to win this. You know, Cooper Cup had a year
- 26:37Speaker 3: where he was almost at two thousand. That was a
- 26:39Speaker 3: little bit of an outlier. But the guy, and I
- 26:43Speaker 3: forget who led last year. I think he was like
- 26:45Speaker 3: seventeen eighty. When you look at CD he missed a
- 26:48Speaker 3: couple of games last year, a couple of games the
- 26:50Speaker 3: year before the last time he played all seventeen, he
- 26:52Speaker 3: had seventeen forty nine, one hundred and thirty five catches. Obviously,
- 26:57Speaker 3: this offense is explosive. I like the value CD Lamb
- 27:00Speaker 3: there at seventeen to one. So he's someone I would
- 27:03Speaker 3: give maybe you know, half a unit on a little
- 27:05Speaker 3: bit of a shot on CD Lamb.
- 27:07Speaker 1: What do you think BP.
- 27:09Speaker 2: How would you approach how would you approach this this market?
- 27:14Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:14Speaker 5: Or it was pretty much spot on with the number
- 27:16Speaker 5: of yards. It was Jackson Smith and Jigba who led
- 27:19Speaker 5: last year at seventeen ninety three.
- 27:23Speaker 6: What on Nico Collins for Houston?
- 27:25Speaker 5: I thank Houston might yeah down that he's at sixteen
- 27:29Speaker 5: to one right now at one of the more popular books.
- 27:31Speaker 5: I think there's a lot of value there. I would
- 27:33Speaker 5: not I wouldn't go with the Jigba to go back
- 27:36Speaker 5: to back. You know that this is one where you
- 27:38Speaker 5: do want to look down the board here a little bit.
- 27:40Speaker 5: I know we kind of talked about in the Rushing
- 27:42Speaker 5: market yesterday that the guys on top made a lot
- 27:44Speaker 5: of sense, but I would look a little lower. I
- 27:46Speaker 5: don't hate CD LAMB, but I'll throw Nico Collins out
- 27:49Speaker 5: there as a name to look at it. Sixteen to one.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Is Huka Nakua taking a step back? I mean, who's
- 27:56Speaker 2: going to get more than him? I mean he's a
- 27:59Speaker 2: kind of guy that's just gonna eat up yards all
- 28:03Speaker 2: season long right under these you know you can't cover him,
- 28:07Speaker 2: and he feels like, how many do you end up with?
- 28:09Speaker 1: Last year BP, it must have been a he was.
- 28:12Speaker 6: To his number two.
- 28:13Speaker 5: It's seventeen fifteen, so it was very close. It was
- 28:17Speaker 5: just a quick mass seventy eight yards behind in Jigba
- 28:20Speaker 5: for the league, so he was very close.
- 28:22Speaker 2: And again Jamar Chase. What a healthy Joe Burrow if
- 28:25Speaker 2: they can protect him.
- 28:27Speaker 6: He was number four last year.
- 28:29Speaker 2: They're never going to be playing from in front where
- 28:31Speaker 2: they want to run the ball, or are they?
- 28:34Speaker 1: I don't you know what I mean.
- 28:36Speaker 2: It's called the thing I have problem is is where
- 28:43Speaker 2: his pick?
- 28:44Speaker 1: How many? How many yards?
- 28:46Speaker 2: Is picking's gonna steal from Cidy Lamb here. That's another
- 28:50Speaker 2: one of my worries there. But listen, if we can
- 28:53Speaker 2: figure out who's going to be passing the ball. Justin
- 28:56Speaker 2: Jefferson feels like value even if he doesn't win it.
- 29:01Speaker 2: But my goodness, do we trust either quarterback situation? And
- 29:05Speaker 2: I like the coach, but are we trusting either quarterback
- 29:08Speaker 2: to get Justin Jefferson enough touches and enough passing?
- 29:12Speaker 1: Guy?
- 29:12Speaker 2: Talk about a team that are they gonna run the ball?
- 29:15Speaker 2: I think they're gonna have to pass the ball this season,
- 29:19Speaker 2: especially indoors.
- 29:21Speaker 6: Yes, I like the coaching those scheme. I mean you're right.
- 29:25Speaker 5: I mean it is tough to trust a lesser known
- 29:28Speaker 5: quarterback situation there with Minnesota.
- 29:31Speaker 2: You know Willie Kyler, he's gonna chuck it up, yeah,
- 29:36Speaker 2: and he can scramble enough to make it so. I
- 29:39Speaker 2: don't hate that. But if it is McCarthy, I like
- 29:41Speaker 2: want nothing to do with any of those future marks. No,
- 29:44Speaker 2: nothing with any of those guys. Uh and Omar Ross
- 29:48Speaker 2: Saint Brown. Everyone seems to think Detroit's gonna run away,
- 29:51Speaker 2: but is he the guy?
- 29:54Speaker 6: He was fifty last year.
- 29:57Speaker 4: He's gonna get a lot of opportunities with that offense.
- 30:00Speaker 2: And we can all agree that aj Brown will not
- 30:04Speaker 2: lead the league.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Correct or correct?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Who also throwing the ball to there? Though? Was my question?
- 30:12Speaker 5: I just want to add one more thing on Nico Collins, Joe,
- 30:15Speaker 5: he finished just inside the top ten last year, but
- 30:19Speaker 5: remember he played in He played in two fewer games
- 30:21Speaker 5: than the most of the leaders did. He only played
- 30:23Speaker 5: in fifteen games, so I mean he was six hundred
- 30:27Speaker 5: yards short of the leader. Obviously, wasn't gonna get three
- 30:29Speaker 5: hundred yards in each of those other two games. I
- 30:31Speaker 5: understand this, right. Nevertheless, there was some yardage left on
- 30:34Speaker 5: the board there. Keep in mind they Houston couldn't protect CJ.
- 30:37Speaker 5: Strout last year protection better? Well, I mean, they can't
- 30:42Speaker 5: be any worse at it, I would think.
- 30:44Speaker 1: But they need to run the ball.
- 30:46Speaker 2: That's my only problem with them is they need to
- 30:48Speaker 2: run the ball to protect them from themselves.
- 30:51Speaker 1: There.
- 30:51Speaker 2: But I I can't trust Tampa because Baker Mayfield's gotta
- 30:58Speaker 2: bug up his ass.
- 30:59Speaker 1: Lwise, I would you know there are some guy that.
- 31:03Speaker 2: The Evans is gone, who's getting all those receptions now
- 31:08Speaker 2: in Tampa Bay. He's a fascinating And again at the price,
- 31:12Speaker 2: we're talking about three cents, seven cents, five cents. Man,
- 31:16Speaker 2: they can put together a nice little string of some
- 31:19Speaker 2: quality games. Boy oh boy, these prices are going to
- 31:23Speaker 2: adjust in a big, big way by the time we
- 31:26Speaker 2: get to October. So NFL preseason football, NFL, NFL future markets,
- 31:33Speaker 2: and don't forget college football future markets available here and
- 31:39Speaker 2: yesterday we.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Talked they still talk.
- 31:41Speaker 2: We've talked win totals, we've talked about making the college
- 31:45Speaker 2: football playoff yesterday and same situation here, BP. If you
- 31:51Speaker 2: were going to look at a future bed in college
- 31:53Speaker 2: football this season, where would you look?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Sides? Air Force? You're never gonna win anything.
- 31:58Speaker 6: You hated a Force, that's a good bet.
- 32:01Speaker 5: Well, I'm gonna get Joe since you loved Air Force
- 32:03Speaker 5: so much yesterday, boy, or you gonna love this. How
- 32:06Speaker 5: about Eastern Michigan plus six fifty to reach the MAC Championship?
- 32:10Speaker 1: Okay, christ do you even know where Eastern Michigan is?
- 32:16Speaker 6: Yipsilanti Michigan. Hey, now the yipsie gypsies.
- 32:22Speaker 5: You're gonna ask one of the most famous MAC graduates
- 32:25Speaker 5: in the United States of America?
- 32:26Speaker 6: Do I know where Eastern Michigan is? Are you ribbing me?
- 32:29Speaker 1: Not ribbing you at all? And I just think people
- 32:32Speaker 1: should understand. Can we talk?
- 32:34Speaker 6: All right, let's talk about the MAC.
- 32:37Speaker 5: Western Michigan is going to take a step back to
- 32:39Speaker 5: Leedo in Ohio.
- 32:40Speaker 6: Myola Moto, Ohio.
- 32:42Speaker 5: You they have new coaches and so Eastern Michigan there's
- 32:45Speaker 5: a void.
- 32:45Speaker 6: I did not look like that at Ohio University and.
- 32:47Speaker 1: Any of them, because that's written all over it.
- 32:51Speaker 2: That hair has got business in the front, Mac in
- 32:54Speaker 2: the back, baby, That's all I'm saying.
- 32:57Speaker 5: That's more of a conference USA haircut personally, But that's
- 33:00Speaker 5: just me.
- 33:03Speaker 2: Can't you really like Eastern really you like Eastern Michigan
- 33:07Speaker 2: or I think it's a.
- 33:08Speaker 5: Good flyer to make the conference champions when you go
- 33:12Speaker 5: to when you look at the group of five, now
- 33:14Speaker 5: the group of six, that's there's a lot more variance
- 33:18Speaker 5: in those leagues. If you go back the last couple
- 33:20Speaker 5: of years, that's where teams come out of nowhere make
- 33:23Speaker 5: those conference championship games. The pecking order has gotten a
- 33:26Speaker 5: lot tighter, a lot in the Power four conferences, right
- 33:32Speaker 5: you have to look to the wild cards. I think
- 33:34Speaker 5: it's worth a shot man a plus six fifty. The
- 33:37Speaker 5: top of the back is weak. It can be had
- 33:40Speaker 5: this year.
- 33:40Speaker 6: It can be had.
- 33:42Speaker 1: Oh all right, you got it there. I like anything
- 33:44Speaker 1: at that price point, that is for sure.
- 33:46Speaker 2: Art, how about you? Where are you looking at college
- 33:48Speaker 2: football for a future?
- 33:51Speaker 3: I know this is a team we've talked about on
- 33:53Speaker 3: the program before, but I'm going to go Georgia to
- 33:55Speaker 3: win the SEC. I've seen them as low as plus
- 33:57Speaker 3: two fifty. MGM still has them at three to one. Listen,
- 34:00Speaker 3: Gunner Stockton's back at quarterback feels like he's been there forever.
- 34:03Speaker 3: Defense is loaded. Could be the most experienced team Kirby
- 34:07Speaker 3: Smart's had, which is saying a lot schedule sets up nice.
- 34:10Speaker 3: No Texas, no LSU. The two hardest games on the
- 34:14Speaker 3: road at Bama and at ol Miss. You look at
- 34:16Speaker 3: Game of the yearlines are still favored in those games.
- 34:19Speaker 3: Minus three at Bama, minus four or four and a
- 34:21Speaker 3: half at Old Miss. Sets up really well for Georgia
- 34:24Speaker 3: to win the SEC.
- 34:27Speaker 6: Like that.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I do like that.
- 34:29Speaker 2: You feel like you almost have to play that every
- 34:31Speaker 2: year anyway, a lot of question marks in the SEC
- 34:33Speaker 2: this year. All right, it's gross, but I'm doing it.
- 34:38Speaker 2: I really think, I really really think they got a
- 34:42Speaker 2: really good shot this year as well. I'm gonna take
- 34:45Speaker 2: Miami to win the national championship. The you to be
- 34:49Speaker 2: national champions here, Yes, we you know, we've had a
- 34:54Speaker 2: new quarterback. We just saw Carson Beck right running around
- 34:57Speaker 2: looking pretty good. But is there any better get than
- 35:01Speaker 2: Darien Menza from.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Duke to come to Miami.
- 35:04Speaker 2: As much as it cost them there, I mean, my goodness, Uh,
- 35:09Speaker 2: it came up oh so short last year. But there's
- 35:12Speaker 2: a lot of continuity on this team that is coming back.
- 35:14Speaker 2: Coaching staff is there, Malanchai Tony is there. And you
- 35:19Speaker 2: know the talent the defense. Listen, two best pass rushers
- 35:23Speaker 2: you know, went in the first round this year.
- 35:25Speaker 1: But I you know, they're never short of talent.
- 35:29Speaker 2: So to me, coming out of the ACC and with
- 35:33Speaker 2: a quarterback like Menzo is gonna be part of the
- 35:35Speaker 2: Heisman conversation. Yeah, they are making it to the dance
- 35:39Speaker 2: and that's half the battle. Anything from there, I think
- 35:43Speaker 2: it's gravy. I mean they're what twelve to one? Somewhere
- 35:45Speaker 2: along day, we're still double digits. I believe to win
- 35:48Speaker 2: the national championship. But are the you out of the ACC?
- 35:54Speaker 2: Why not the U coming back? That's a lot of
- 35:57Speaker 2: firepower and a lot of experience on our team coming back.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't hate it.
- 36:03Speaker 3: And I mean you look at kind of some of
- 36:04Speaker 3: those teams like Notre Dame, who's the favorite at like
- 36:06Speaker 3: six to one? Yeah, how would you bet six to one?
- 36:09Speaker 3: You could take a team in the double digits who,
- 36:11Speaker 3: like you said, you first have to establish are they
- 36:13Speaker 3: going to be in? Yeah, you think Miami's going to
- 36:16Speaker 3: be in, And then, like you said, you roll the
- 36:17Speaker 3: dice from there and you play those games out. But
- 36:20Speaker 3: getting a team that you can be very confident is
- 36:23Speaker 3: going to make the playoff at twelve to one, it's
- 36:25Speaker 3: a good start.
- 36:26Speaker 2: I mean, what are you thinking their BP? And I
- 36:29Speaker 2: would also put Dari Men's in a win the Heisman.
- 36:31Speaker 2: I don't know what that number is at, but I
- 36:33Speaker 2: think those things go hand in hand there. And yes,
- 36:37Speaker 2: Mario crystal Ball drives me absolutely to want to drink
- 36:42Speaker 2: at points, but I think he turned a corner last year.
- 36:46Speaker 1: And I think for you, they got more enough.
- 36:48Speaker 2: Money to afford talent and they might just have the
- 36:51Speaker 2: best quarterback in the country this year.
- 36:54Speaker 5: Yeah, that whole playoff run, we kept saying, oh, is
- 36:57Speaker 5: this the game where Christal Ball is going to make
- 36:58Speaker 5: a mistake, And then he never did, so kudos to him. Look,
- 37:01Speaker 5: there's eight teams that are minus two hundred or better
- 37:04Speaker 5: to make the college football Playoff. Miami is one of them.
- 37:07Speaker 5: They're in a conference where no other team is in
- 37:10Speaker 5: that group because you got the two SCS teams, Georgia
- 37:13Speaker 5: and Texas, you got three big Den teams, and then
- 37:16Speaker 5: you got an Order Game and Texas Tech to round
- 37:20Speaker 5: out the eight.
- 37:21Speaker 6: So yeah, it makes a lot of sense.
- 37:22Speaker 5: Joe. If you're really confident in Miami to make the
- 37:25Speaker 5: college football Playoff, and you should be, then worth taking
- 37:28Speaker 5: a flyer on them to win it.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I almost hate it now that he agrees with me,
- 37:33Speaker 2: but I think, yeah, I don't forget hit that like
- 37:38Speaker 2: and subscribe, but become part of the wager and Talk
- 37:41Speaker 2: TV family. Before we get out of here, we'll go
- 37:43Speaker 2: through the Major League Baseball.
- 37:45Speaker 1: Run down for you.
- 37:47Speaker 2: Plenty of games here tonight, obviously as a full fifteen
- 37:52Speaker 2: game slates.
- 37:54Speaker 1: So BP, are you are you ready here? You ready
- 37:57Speaker 1: to get this going?
- 37:59Speaker 6: I said no, it would probably pretty awkward.
- 38:01Speaker 1: Huh yeah.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Well, and the other reason I'm asking is because while
- 38:05Speaker 2: we're going to start with your team, the Guardians taking
- 38:09Speaker 2: on Detroit early start here about minus one, twenty one,
- 38:13Speaker 2: twenty five, I think for Detroit tanner byby on the
- 38:16Speaker 2: mound in Detroit, what are we doing here?
- 38:19Speaker 1: BP?
- 38:21Speaker 5: These are teams going in opposite directions. I'm not a
- 38:23Speaker 5: believer in this Guardians team. The Tigers will finish ahead
- 38:25Speaker 5: of them in the standing. As the question is, do
- 38:27Speaker 5: we want to bet the Tigers with Anderson? Cleveland gets
- 38:30Speaker 5: no run support, gives or I should say gives biby
- 38:34Speaker 5: on no run support typically, so yeah, a clear lean
- 38:38Speaker 5: to Detroit, although they are owens six head to head
- 38:40Speaker 5: against Cleveland, this year.
- 38:41Speaker 6: Joe'll be aware of that.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Oh another absolutely useless facts.
- 38:45Speaker 2: All right, so our let's talk Pirates and Marlins here,
- 38:48Speaker 2: Paul Skeins Uri Perez pick them price here for either side?
- 38:53Speaker 1: What are you picking? Yeah?
- 38:55Speaker 3: And even if you can find Marlins at a little
- 38:57Speaker 3: bit of a plus price plus one or two like that,
- 39:00Speaker 3: I would lean Marlins.
- 39:01Speaker 2: All right, we got the Cubs and the Nats here today.
- 39:04Speaker 2: Imanaga versus Jake Irvin should be a ton of runs.
- 39:07Speaker 2: I'd look at the over BP Mariners and Yankees. You
- 39:11Speaker 2: know where I'm at.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Where are you at? Well?
- 39:14Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I would agree with both of the things.
- 39:16Speaker 6: You guys said. You liked the Yankees. I think Brian
- 39:19Speaker 6: Woo has been a disaster on the.
- 39:22Speaker 5: Rope generally speaking, but these two offenses have both struggled
- 39:27Speaker 5: mightily since the break so arts call on the under
- 39:30Speaker 5: I don't disagree with that either.
- 39:32Speaker 6: I think you guys nailed this one spot on in
- 39:33Speaker 6: the parlay of the day.
- 39:37Speaker 1: Forty five seconds. I'm never getting back art.
- 39:39Speaker 2: How about Red Sox and Blue Jays Art Sundball versus
- 39:44Speaker 2: Dylan Cease Blue Jays minus one forty Somewhere in that ballpark.
- 39:49Speaker 4: There Yeah, it's funny.
- 39:52Speaker 3: People are going to probably take shots with the Red Sox,
- 39:54Speaker 3: even though it's against Cease. But they've hit a little
- 39:56Speaker 3: bit of skid here. Obviously they dropped the opener last night.
- 39:59Speaker 3: It's hard not to back Cease. He's been, if not
- 40:02Speaker 3: the best pitcher in the American League, the second best pitcher,
- 40:04Speaker 3: had a great year.
- 40:05Speaker 4: I would back Seas.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I listen, I can't believe Santa bal has been as
- 40:08Speaker 1: good as he is there.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Martin Perez versus MacLean, Mets and Atlanta, I do think.
- 40:15Speaker 2: I think Atlanta bounces back at truest Orioles looking to
- 40:19Speaker 2: bounce back against the Twins, Bailey Ober versus Young here.
- 40:24Speaker 1: Both these teams suck. What do you think, VP, Well,
- 40:27Speaker 1: they're just so hard to project.
- 40:29Speaker 6: That's the problem. You don't know what you're going to get.
- 40:31Speaker 6: Dean Kramer.
- 40:32Speaker 5: What do you know for Dean Kramer to pitch, well,
- 40:34Speaker 5: he needed to pitch against his former teammates in Baltimore.
- 40:37Speaker 6: You know who who would have predicted that yesterday?
- 40:39Speaker 5: I think the Orioles probably bounced back though today because
- 40:42Speaker 5: you know, given these two teams kind of Jekyl and
- 40:45Speaker 5: Hyde nature, I'll take the team that lost the series
- 40:48Speaker 5: opener to bounce back on Tuesday.
- 40:50Speaker 2: All right, Art, you've got Ladolo back for Cincinnati first
- 40:54Speaker 2: start after a blister a sidelined him for about a month.
- 40:58Speaker 1: Burke for the White.
- 41:00Speaker 2: Socks here minus one fifty for the White Socks seven
- 41:04Speaker 2: and a half is a total at raid Field.
- 41:06Speaker 1: What are you thinking?
- 41:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it's tough to lay that price with
- 41:11Speaker 3: the White Sox, but maybe I would look to maybe
- 41:14Speaker 3: lay it, maybe even look the under or look the over.
- 41:17Speaker 4: I actually think it's a low.
- 41:18Speaker 1: Total low totally.
- 41:19Speaker 2: It is Phillies and the Cardinals here, Christopher Sanchez versus Polante.
- 41:25Speaker 2: The Phillies barely held on, but more importantly, they got
- 41:28Speaker 2: to give the bullpen a little bit of a rest
- 41:31Speaker 2: last night. I think Sanchez bounces back. The Cardinals are awful.
- 41:36Speaker 2: I'll take the Phillies here. Also, as a matter of fact,
- 41:39Speaker 2: I even lay the run and a half has that
- 41:41Speaker 2: Rangers Angels bp Bradford, who hasn't pitched in two years.
- 41:46Speaker 2: I don't think he has started a game, at least
- 41:49Speaker 2: not on the road anyway. Taking on the lowly Angels
- 41:52Speaker 2: against Johnson, who you me and Art might be better
- 41:56Speaker 2: against than anybody else here.
- 41:57Speaker 1: What do you think?
- 41:59Speaker 5: Look, I cashed the under on this game last night.
- 42:02Speaker 5: I think it's a series tailor made for Texas.
- 42:04Speaker 6: To do well.
- 42:04Speaker 5: The Angels dead last in scoring at home in all
- 42:08Speaker 5: of baseball.
- 42:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Johnson's awful? Aren't Rockies? Diamondbacks? We gotta I.
- 42:15Speaker 2: Believe did we have an over last night? But I
- 42:17Speaker 2: think we did nine nothing. Rockies just didn't want to contribute.
- 42:21Speaker 2: I don't know that they're contributing tonight, or though sigano
- 42:24Speaker 2: Irock has eleven wins on the season for the Rockies,
- 42:27Speaker 2: unbelieva crazy. What did we think of art?
- 42:31Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:31Speaker 3: The shirts are on the Diamonbacks yesterday, and that was
- 42:33Speaker 3: obviously an easy one for them. Diamonbacks will be popular
- 42:36Speaker 3: in all the money line parlays today. They'll kind of
- 42:39Speaker 3: public will see that they you know, one night nothing
- 42:41Speaker 3: last night? I mean hard to go against the Diamondbacks
- 42:45Speaker 3: at home, maybe even a team total over.
- 42:47Speaker 2: I gets Brewers Padres BP told you earlier, likes the
- 42:51Speaker 2: Brewers to get it done. They're hard to argue. I
- 42:53Speaker 2: thank Kyle Harrison. He showed you, after after a little
- 42:58Speaker 2: stint on the il, that he is ready to go here,
- 43:02Speaker 2: big pitching edge. I'll take the Brewers, raise athletics, BP
- 43:06Speaker 2: Martinez versus Bennett.
- 43:08Speaker 1: You got what an over last night? We getting an
- 43:11Speaker 1: over again tonight.
- 43:13Speaker 5: Nick Martinez is a guy do for a lot of
- 43:15Speaker 5: regression if you look at actual versus expected e r
- 43:19Speaker 5: A Tomy Yuki Sigano, by the way, who we just
- 43:21Speaker 5: talked about his expected ras over seven. No one's been
- 43:24Speaker 5: a bigger overachiever when it comes to actual versus expected
- 43:26Speaker 5: ra and all baseball than him. Look A's give up
- 43:30Speaker 5: the most runs per game at home in all of baseball.
- 43:32Speaker 5: Tampa came to town put ten on the board yesterday,
- 43:35Speaker 5: and the a score more at home as well, obviously,
- 43:39Speaker 5: so no reason to expect it won't be a lot
- 43:41Speaker 5: of runs here.
- 43:42Speaker 2: I think all right, art Astros Giants Hunter Brown versus
- 43:46Speaker 2: Wood and Hunt Astros took game one yesterday and epic ashion.
- 43:51Speaker 1: How about Game two one Hunter Brown on the mountain.
- 43:55Speaker 4: They'll win again today. Total will stay under though.
- 43:58Speaker 2: Oooh, and why versus Blake Snell? Gentlemen are Neillian and Snell?
- 44:05Speaker 2: I think pitch once didn't last very long. This season
- 44:09Speaker 2: kind of got rocked. Waka is an under machine, especially early.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Hate that bullpen. But what do you think are.
- 44:17Speaker 3: It's hard to be extell at that price, this would
- 44:21Speaker 3: be a pass or maybe even you go Royals first five.
- 44:26Speaker 1: What do you think him?
- 44:28Speaker 6: I kind of like the over here. I know Waka
- 44:30Speaker 6: you mentioned he's an onder machine.
- 44:31Speaker 5: He gets prop I believe he gets the least run
- 44:33Speaker 5: support of any qualified starter in all of baseball bait.
- 44:36Speaker 5: The Royals have not scored five runs with him on
- 44:39Speaker 5: the mound in any of his last fifteen starts. But
- 44:42Speaker 5: to get this over, we don't need the Royals to
- 44:44Speaker 5: score fifteen or we don't score fifteen runs. Obviously, we
- 44:47Speaker 5: don't need to score five, although they did score five
- 44:50Speaker 5: last night. Joe, I think again, going back to what
- 44:53Speaker 5: I said yesterday, this is the series where the Dodgers,
- 44:57Speaker 5: specifically that lineup, I think get back on track. Mentioned
- 45:00Speaker 5: the Royals bullpen seconds last in e RA. Only the
- 45:04Speaker 5: A's are worse.
- 45:06Speaker 2: I'll take the half run in the first five. I
- 45:09Speaker 2: don't trust now life. I do not trust now either.
- 45:12Speaker 6: He's the wild part in that andicamy.
- 45:16Speaker 1: You know, just.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Because every new shiny object can't be a two and
- 45:20Speaker 2: three dollars favorite. I mean that's you're just not new,
- 45:23Speaker 2: absolutely not overpriced, over hyped. All right, there you got
- 45:27Speaker 2: it here, guys, outstanding stuff here on a two dollars Tuesday.

- 46:14Speaker 2: they made a cream for that. Nope, can't catch your break, guys,
