- 4:16to shop with me for your Christmas gifts this year. Okay, let's get
- 4:21to our show, y'all. I have so much to talk about, and
- 4:24I've got John here. John is always a wealth of knowledge and he has
- 4:28some personal stories about the little people today. Okay, so on this episode,
- 4:34we're talking about little people nomes Tommy knockers. Tommy knockers are said to
- 4:40be little gnomes who live deep in the caves and mines and are mysterious creatures
- 4:44of the underworld. Miners have seen them, but more often felt their presence
- 4:48or heard them tapping knocking on the walls of mines, warning the miners of
- 4:53danger, telling them to get out. You don't ignore a Tommy knocker.
- 4:59Okay. That's one thing that I have learned. We do not ignore Tommy
- 5:01knockers. Not if you want to live. At least they can be your
- 5:05best friend and they could be your worst nightmare. Okay, and I think
- 5:10that's kind of similar for a lot of the smaller stature cryptids that we have
- 5:15out there. The legend of the Tommy Knockers has been around for thousands of
- 5:18years, beginning in the ten mind days of the Roman Empire. If you
- 5:24sit quietly and listen at the entrance of a cave, you too might hear
- 5:30a Tommy knocker mining away at the gold and potentially warning you to get out,
- 5:35okay before the mind collapses. I have John Bendaventer here. John's originally
- 5:42from Plano, Texas. He's a sixteen year veteran of the United States Air
- 5:46Force. Let's see, I have a hold on my grab his bio,
- 5:50y'all. He is the author of the novel Relics, first published in twenty
- 5:57seventeen. After he spent about two years writing the novel and researching the topic
- 6:01of Sasquatch as he wrote, in twenty eighteen, he and his wife moved
- 6:05to Hanobi, Oklahoma, in the heart of Oklahoma Sasquatch country. He's been
- 6:12a guest speaker on several Bigfoot and paranormal podcasts, and he was also a
- 6:16speaker at the Hanobia Bigfoot Festival in twenty eighteen. He served as MC for
- 6:21the twenty twenty one Hanobi Bigfoot Festival, and we'll return to MC again in
- 6:27twenty twenty two, or he did. Sorry, we're in the future real.
- 6:31In twenty twenty one, John became an active writer again. He signed
- 6:36with Empire Publishing. He's completed two complete series, Relics fiction adult series and
- 6:43The Shadow Chasers adult fiction series. He has retired. Everybody retires, but
- 6:49he seems like you get more busy after you retire, right, and he's
- 6:54working on a new book. I think he just put it to the publishers,
- 6:58I guess, and so it's publishing right now. Please help me.
- 7:00Welcome to the show, my buddy, John Vendaventer. Hey, Happy Thanksgiving,
- 7:08Hey John, Happy Thanksgiving to you. Thank you for being here today.
- 7:12We have so much update biod I noticed that right as I was reading
- 7:19it, so I felt like I was in the future reading the past.
- 7:21But it's okay because you are. You're super busy with all of your books
- 7:26and uh and you you have one of the best book series that I know
- 7:30of regarding sasquatch UFOs all that paranormal stuff. Thank you. Yeah, absolutely,
- 7:40Oh my gosh, Catherine, thank you so much. Thank you to
- 7:42everybody who's in the chat today. By the way, uh, Catherine,
- 7:45I met Catherine in Las Vegas at the Space Out Radio fan party. Thank
- 7:48you for that super chat. I appreciate that. I love you too,
- 7:50Cauz. And also I wanted to give a shout out to Colleen Roach who's
- 7:55in the chat. It's her birthday to day everybody, so everybody please wish
- 7:58Colleen a happy birthday to day. Yeah, but half of me and John
- 8:03we want to tell you happy birthday, Colleen. Okay, all right,
- 8:07we have the best audience. John, I'm so excited. Okay, So
- 8:13we're going to be talking about Tommy Knockers today. I want to start off
- 8:16with the Tommy Knockers subject. John. It's something that people have been writing
- 8:22into me this past week, telling me their own stories of Tommy Knockers.
- 8:26Now, I believe that you might have a story that you've heard or you've
- 8:31experienced on your own of Tommy Knockers. Can you tell me about it?
- 8:35Well, this isn't my story. Now. I do have a story about
- 8:39the little people when we get there. But I did a quick look on
- 8:43Tommy Knockers, and those of you that like to get on YouTube, I
- 8:48want you to look for this guy named Jeff Williams. He's a minor and
- 8:52a geologist, and I watched a couple of his episodes this morning, and
- 8:56he was deep down in a coal mine and started getting the knox, you
- 9:01know. He hammered on something and the knock started coming back, and then
- 9:05they just kept coming. And in another scene, he had drilled a hole
- 9:09into his wall and was shoving a rod in there, and he found a
- 9:13cavity at an empty space on the other side of the wall, and something
- 9:18started turning his rod and just pulled it through, pulled it through the hole.
- 9:22He got picked for me, So I want to go back and watch
- 9:26the rest. He trying to figure out what did that. But he did
- 9:30have evidence of Tommy Knocker activity, and that rod thing was pretty wild.
- 9:35Really, I just kind of did a I didn't know that much about it,
- 9:39still don't. As you were saying, they go back to Roman times,
- 9:45I guess the American version of the American stories came from Cornish and Welsh
- 9:52miners that had come over to the United States to come over to the New
- 9:56World, and they kind of brought to Tommy Knocker's legend with them, and
- 10:03uh, the activity you know, the same activity they were getting over in
- 10:07Great Britain, you know, back in those days, in the old times.
- 10:09Now they're still having it here, and they started immediately having it here
- 10:13when they started mining. So I guess it's never been a bit. This
- 10:18is the only time I've lived in in a mining area, Like, I'm
- 10:24not too partner here where they've got the coal mines and stuff around Heavner and
- 10:28I use those for some other weird stuff that happened in those minds occasionally.
- 10:33But so this is kind of new something I think I want to dig into
- 10:37more since I am in an area with mines now. Oh yeah, Well,
- 10:43that's something that we continually talk about, is the relation to cryptids and
- 10:50gold mines in any kind of minds. I mean, I've been I've been
- 10:52hearing about minds and cryptids for a long time. And uh and I've talked
- 10:58even extensively Fred roll up in Alaska with Subarctic Alaska Sasquatch on YouTube. We
- 11:05made a connection to the Sasquatch guarding gold mines. And then last week we
- 11:09had the van Meter Monster out of Iowa. That thing was seen coming out
- 11:13of a coal mine. It's not a gold mine, but a coal mine.
- 11:16So these mines in cryptids. I think it's a great place for cryptids
- 11:20to live and to hide if they don't want to be seen. But also,
- 11:26I mean potentially they could be like entrances to Inner Earth. If you
- 11:30guys, are you know, if you believe in Inner Earth? I do,
- 11:33I totally do, okay, but it could they could be interesces to
- 11:37something a little you know, a little more mysterious, I guess. And
- 11:43so the Tommy Knockers are a little terrifying, okay, But if you if
- 11:48you go back and think about pop culture, these things have been kind of
- 11:52shown to us for many years. Okay, back in the nineteen thirties we
- 11:56had Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Okay, I believe that's when that
- 12:01came out, and snow White was found by a bunch of dwarves. Now
- 12:03listen, I'm going to get into this in detail here in just a minute,
- 12:07because I could do an entire show just on Snow White and the Seven
- 12:13Dwarves, Okay, And because there's so much symbology in that. There's so
- 12:18much not only about with the little people the Dwarfs, they're basically like Tommy
- 12:24Knockers. Okay, that's the way I would describe them. But also we've
- 12:30got stuff in there, like a magic mirror, we have blood rituals,
- 12:35okay, like all sorts of weird stuff, very occultish in addition to the
- 12:41seven dwarves that are in there. And so yeah, that that's a rabbit
- 12:48hole. I don't know if you guys want to go down at today,
- 12:50but I guarantee you I'm going to talk about that in the future, especially
- 12:54those magic mirrors and not dimensioned on the Mandela effect, Yes, were you
- 13:01weird? The Mandela effect has affected the Snow White movie. It's affected everything,
- 13:07it seems. I mean, I can remember, you know, I'm
- 13:11pretty good about like movie lines and things like that. I have a good
- 13:13memory, you know, but I remember things from the past and now they're
- 13:18saying no, that was never said, and I'm like, you gotta be
- 13:22kidding, you know. But yeah, the Mandela effect, that's that's really
- 13:26weird and it's weird affecting Snow White. Well, okay, so the part
- 13:33about it, the Mandela effect of Snow White is mirror mirror on the wall.
- 13:37Who's the fairest of them all? That's what I remember. Now it's
- 13:39something different, and I can't remember exactly what it is now, but it's
- 13:43not meror to see if it is actually something different, I have not,
- 13:50but I mean I've seen clips of the movie that people have posted in regards
- 13:54to this Mandela effect, So it's happened. That's what I hear is that
- 14:00it's not mirror mirror on the wall anymore. It's something different. That's weird.
- 14:05Who's the fairest of them all? It's super weird. It's super weird.
- 14:13Yeah, because Roger in the chat is wondering if the Tommy Knockers,
- 14:20Oh yeah, exactly right, exactly. Dockers have a connection to leprens.
- 14:28Well, you know, the Leprechauns are said to be guarding gold. Also,
- 14:33there's a German word for the Tommy Knockers is uh Bergeister, and it
- 14:39means mountain mountain ghosts, and they believe to be guardians of gold and treasure
- 14:45too. Okay, very cool, very cool. Hey, I'm gonna put
- 14:54a picture up here and I'm gonna switch over to my phone. Y'all.
- 14:56We've got one of those things where I'm starting to lag a little bit today
- 15:01so yeah, we're okay. So, so the Tommy Knockers, I think
- 15:05that they're all they can all kind of be classified in with leprechauns a little
- 15:09bit. I know it's different. We're gonna we're gonna go there just a
- 15:11second. But yeah, John, let me let me switch over to my
- 15:15phone real quick, and if you have any any more facts on the Tommy
- 15:18Knockers, Okay, I'm gonna be switching over while you will you talk about
- 15:22it? Okay, okay, did expect me? So? Actually, my
- 15:30information on them, folks is, uh, they first came to America,
- 15:35as I mentioned earlier, the stories from Cornish and Welsh miners that brought their
- 15:39trade to the New World. As I mentioned earlier, the Germans have a
- 15:43named for him. The Swiss have a named for him, and they do.
- 15:50There's something about all these gnomes and small, small people like this.
- 15:54They always seem to be guardians of some kind of treasure or or gold or
- 16:00silver or something like that. And if you really got an interest on them,
- 16:06I really can't tell you enough. Go watch this Jeff Williams guy on
- 16:11YouTube and watches Tommy Knocker episodes. It's pretty wild. Oh yeah, I'm
- 16:19gonna go check this guy out. Can you guys hear me? Okay,
- 16:22yeah, okay, it's a glitch in the matrix once again. Yeah,
- 16:29that's funny. Oh my gosh. Yeah, Roger said, some of these
- 16:33pictures look like his ken Folk. Okay, that's kind of funny. Yes,
- 16:40so the Tommy Knocker started. Okay, the traditions go back way back
- 16:45in the day, back in the Welsh traditions, Celtic traditions of the miners.
- 16:51There, the Tommy Knockers were mischievous, but they would save your life.
- 16:56Okay. Now I did post and I pinned it to the top of
- 17:00the live chat. Today, I do have a video of a reported Tommy
- 17:07knocker, okay, that was on TikTok Now, I don't know the validity
- 17:11of this video, y'all. I can't tell you for sure if this is
- 17:15a real video or not. But I have still shots from it today,
- 17:18so I figured I would show the audience some of the still shots. Now,
- 17:23y'all, go up and click on that and you can see the video.
- 17:26It looks like a little man with beautiful long hair, long beautiful hair,
- 17:33and he's climbing up. He was baited Okay. The story behind this
- 17:37goes he was baited by some British miners, okay, some miners out of
- 17:44the UK. And he almost looks like he has gray skin. Now,
- 17:48this could be like a night vision discrepancy, like where he doesn't look this
- 17:53color usually, But I don't know, okay. And you can see this
- 17:59is your some clips from the short video that they show on TikTok And this
- 18:06is a little fellow right here. They're calling him, calling him a gnome,
- 18:10but he's it looks like a real human. I mean, some people
- 18:14might say that cgi, some may say it's just all set up for a
- 18:18movie. I don't, y'all, I don't know, but it's pretty convincing,
- 18:21okay. And uh, and this is a little a little guy shortened
- 18:25stature looks a little like Santa Claus, okay, with his white hair and
- 18:30his grayish blue it's kind of blue. Uh you know what that reminds me
- 18:34of? John? What's that? The Smurfs? Okay, the Smurfs,
- 18:41right, something else from pop culture? Okay. And so, like I
- 18:48said, I don't know the validity of this video one hundred percent, but
- 18:52I've seen it. I did pin it. It isn't the live chat at
- 18:56the very top, You guys, go scroll up to the top. It's
- 18:59up there, and y'all tell me what you think. Okay, tell me
- 19:03what you think. Now I'm going to go over some of the characteristics of
- 19:08these Tommy Knockers. Okay. The creatures are known to make mischief. They'll
- 19:17eat your lunch, hydrotols, knock your hard hat off your head, tweak
- 19:19your ear, and some people think that they appear as the ghosts of the
- 19:25miners who died in the minds years ago. So some people say that the
- 19:29Tommy Knockers are not an actual three D type of a creature. They think
- 19:33they're more of like a spiritual type of an entity. Okay, because sometimes
- 19:38they'll see lights like ghosts. Like what they're seeing they think are ghosts.
- 19:45The miners are seeing them in the mind and they see a glowing light at
- 19:49the end of the tunnel that suddenly takes a human form and then vanishes in
- 19:53a misty white cloud. Some say that it's just a could be like a
- 19:59mix of dust and dirt and a gas of some sort. But they say
- 20:03that when you see that light, you get out, Okay, get out
- 20:10and don't don't look back, take off running because it's probably going the mind
- 20:15could potentially collapse or something could happen to you, because that's usually the Tommy
- 20:21knockers are giving a warning to get out. So they'll do favors to assist
- 20:26the miners. They work right along beside them, some people say, and
- 20:32they'll lead you to the riches, like the veins of gold or the veins
- 20:37of whatever metal it is. They're down there trained to get But if you
- 20:41mock them, John, if you mock them, and if you make fun
- 20:44of them, they can cause injury and even your death. Okay, so
- 20:49you know, and that was that was something I read up on them.
- 20:53You know that they're tapping could mean a warning you need to get out of
- 20:59mind, or they could be trying to show you where the the mother load
- 21:03is. How do you know which one to do? Yeah, well,
- 21:07you have to go with your gut. Okay, that's what I always say,
- 21:11Go with your gut. Don't go that far underground anyways, I don't.
- 21:18Well, let me tell you, John, caves are caves and mines
- 21:19are scary places. They agree, they're very scary. It takes, uh,
- 21:26it takes somebody with Cojones of steel. Okay, to be a minor
- 21:30and to even go caving, in my opinion, I've been in one cave.
- 21:34I mean, I've been in several caves, but I've only explored one
- 21:37for like paranormal stuff. When we were out in Tennessee and it was it
- 21:44was I didn't want to go in there by myself. Okay, and that's
- 21:48unusual. I don't mind doing things on my own, but that that cave
- 21:52was so scary. It just felt we felt a presence in that cave and
- 21:56uh well, and plus we were told there were skin walkers in it.
- 22:00Oh really, Yeah, I don't know. Like I've been in a few
- 22:03caverns, in a couple of caves, it's just not my thing. I
- 22:07mean, I like the caverns are beautiful, but then I start thinking about
- 22:11how much rock and earth is above my head. I think be the same
- 22:15way. Like I toured a submarine once. It's great, even though I
- 22:18knew we weren't underwater, I didn't want to stay in it that long.
- 22:22You know, Hey, this is cool, let me out. It must
- 22:26be a clock. The phobia thing with me, I guess it is with
- 22:30me too. And the girl in her gone. Thank you for that super
- 22:33chat. Thank you so much that supersticker. That means a lot. I
- 22:36appreciate that. Okay, yes, I mean I went into another cave.
- 22:41There's one. It's called Ruby Ruby Cave, I think up in Tennessee Ruby
- 22:47Falls or Ruby Cave. And and you have to take an elevator way way
- 22:51down into the ground. And and it's beautiful. It's like cave caverns and
- 22:56you just go through these caves. It's absolutely beautiful, but it's very claustrophobic
- 23:00down there. But it's also a place that you could go to escape if
- 23:06something were to happen on the surface level of the earth. And uh.
- 23:08And I think a lot of these cryptids that we're looking into today they live
- 23:14underground. Is that I don't know if it's a way to escape what's going
- 23:17on above ground or if it's just they're just subterranean because they prefer living down
- 23:23there. You know, maybe they've just adapted to living down there, and
- 23:29uh, and that's what they prefer. But I mean, even with like
- 23:32the Native American legends and stuff, there's these subterranean even the little people with
- 23:38the chero the Cherokee have a story about the little people, and we can
- 23:42get into that today as well. Uh. They have a name for them.
- 23:47Let's see if I can find it. Uh, the nana the nana
- 23:51hi, the nuana hi, I think is how you pronounce that? Uh.
- 23:53And there are a race of more immortal spirit people in Cherokee mythology.
- 23:57Now they say mythology. A lot of this mythology, I think that there's
- 24:03a lot of truth behind it, Okay from what I've from my research that
- 24:07I've done in my experiences. But they believe the nunnahei or nunahet to be
- 24:15a type of supernatural human being completely distinct from ghosts and nature spirits as well
- 24:22as from the gods as well as from the gods. Now, they lived
- 24:26in subterranean housing something they called the townhouse is where they lived. And they
- 24:33would go underground and whenever they would help the Cherokee, like to get away
- 24:40from the enemy or you know, when they were being rounded up to walk
- 24:44to be relocated. I guess you could say this is the nice term for
- 24:48it. I guess it's not a nice term. But to be relocated to
- 24:52Oklahoma, a lot of people went and hid, you know, in the
- 24:56mountains a lot of the Native Americans, a lot of the Cherokees went to
- 25:00go hide, and they were guided into. The story goes they were guided
- 25:03into the mountain behind a secret stone door. Okay, And and where do
- 25:11we hear about the secret stone door? Last week? I believe I did
- 25:15that. I did that show or week before last on the giant, the
- 25:18giant that was spotted an Oregon that that gentleman said had disappeared behind a stone
- 25:23door that opened up in the side of a mountain. Okay, Well,
- 25:27the Cherokee have a legend about the little people, and they would open up
- 25:32a stone door much like the one that was described with the giant out in
- 25:36Oregon from a couple of weeks ago, and they would they walked in,
- 25:40and the people that would go in there wouldn't want to leave because it was
- 25:42so beautiful inside. It's almost like the stories of Inner Earth, John and
- 25:48that that's her story, and the people would be safe there. And when
- 25:51they went in and they started communing and eating the food of these little people,
- 25:57they became immortal, Okay, which is interesting. So I don't want
- 26:06now. I have a chop tak version here if you want to hear it.
- 26:11Yes, they called them cali Anda and Ukasha cali Anakasha or the bo
- 26:18Polli uh both well Connie and Ukasha means forest dweller. Bu Polli means thrower
- 26:27because they would throw with small sticks and stones, and it was a playful
- 26:32thing. They weren't throwing the hurt. But they would take small children,
- 26:37usually males, and they'd kidnap them, and what they would do they would
- 26:41keep them for three days and they teach them about herbs and what plants to
- 26:47use to cure sickness or illness, and then they would return them to the
- 26:51tribe and the children were to say nothing about what they'd learned, but they
- 26:55would become the medicine man or doctors of the community once they became adults.
- 27:00And if the child had no no temperament for it, or you know,
- 27:07this wasn't something he was going to be good at, they would return the
- 27:11child in lesson three days. You know, they could tell he wasn't gonna
- 27:15gonna make the cut as a as a healer. And also like the Cherokee,
- 27:22this followed them from Mississippi and Alabama into Oklahoma when they you know,
- 27:26when they were forced into Oklahoma during the trill of tears. So and so
- 27:32so did their big foot thing. For that matter, the champagne followed them
- 27:36from from Mississippi to Oklahoma. And this is what this is where I have
- 27:42a little story. Funny thing was probably right around this day three years ago,
- 27:48and I think it was a day for Thanksgiving, and I was I
- 27:52had a busy day. I had service calls doing Texas, Oklahoma, and
- 27:56Arkansas that day, so I got up. I wanted to get out early,
- 27:59so I was leaving around five point thirty and I was, everything here
- 28:03that weird's ever happened happens at my gate for some reason. So I went
- 28:07to the gates to go out to my car, and I looked at the
- 28:08mountains to my south, and uh live in a little my wide valley and
- 28:14we're kind of backed up to the mountain in the north. To the south's
- 28:17about a mile away, and I see I thought, we're two headlights up
- 28:21on the mountain where there's no road up there. So I'm thinking it was
- 28:23deer hunters at the time. I see it on ATVs and they're just moving
- 28:29from my left to my right, and then all of a sudden, one
- 28:32then the other one just brought down like two hundred feet and I thought,
- 28:34oh my god, they drove off a cliff or something. But I never
- 28:37saw no red tail lights or no tumbling. The lights just went down and
- 28:41then they came back up moved on to my right again until I couldn't see
- 28:45them, and I was, you know, I was like, well,
- 28:48I had to go that direction. So I jumped to the car and drove.
- 28:51I drive right by that mountain on the way out, and I never
- 28:53saw anything. And of course me, I'm thinking it was orbs or UFOs
- 28:57or something, and I mentioned it to a chalk tall guy. He goes,
- 29:02no, that's the little people, and that's when I first heard.
- 29:04He goes, that's their lamps. And then one more story on this.
- 29:08Two years ago, during the Hanobe Bigfoot Festival, one of the speakers I'm
- 29:14pretty good friends with. He's an author as well, and he's a researcher
- 29:18like you. He's out a lot and I won't mention his name because I
- 29:19didn't get permission to tell his story, so I'm sure he wouldn't mind,
- 29:25but I'm not going to take that chance. The first night of the festival,
- 29:30he had done his speaking and stuff, and they had put him up
- 29:32in a cabin not far from here in the shova, and him and this
- 29:36other speaker who happened to be chalk tall, we're standing no. I think
- 29:41this guy was Cherokee. I can't remember for sure. But they kept seeing
- 29:47this light and my friend kept moving towards the light. He was getting closer
- 29:52because he'd never seen anything like this. Now he's well rounded. I mean,
- 29:55he's been researching Sasquat for twelve years and he's never had a sighting.
- 30:00He's had activity. He's found prints and stuff like that. So he's not
- 30:06somebody that you know is gonna make things up. He's very, very honorable
- 30:11in it. And you know the things he described me, He'll admit straight
- 30:15up. I believe in him, but I've never seen one when it comes
- 30:18to bigfoot. But this he saw and his curiosity was peaked, and he
- 30:22started following it, and then the Native American speaker told him to stop,
- 30:26don't go any further because you're gonna get lost. They're leading you away to
- 30:30get you lost. So he let it go, and this guy told him
- 30:33that was the little people. It was the landern of the little people.
- 30:37So there's my stories about Oh my gosh. Okay, so that could be
- 30:41very mischievous, and so you gotta be careful of what you're following around out
- 30:47there in the woods. Yeah, okay. So I have a good friend
- 30:52of mine who does filled research with me and my team, and that's Dave
- 30:56Pardue. I bring him up pretty often. I love, I love my
- 30:59buddy. And uh. And he is up in North Carolina. With North
- 31:03North Carolina, it's Carolina Cryptid Field Research Organization up there, and uh.
- 31:08And he has a video of little people, okay, and uh and the
- 31:15video, I mean it is it is clear. There's like three or four
- 31:18maybe five, I can't remember little people that look like they're walking in a
- 31:23single file line. And this is through his night vision camera or his fleer
- 31:29and uh, in the middle of the night, up in up in the
- 31:32forest, Okay, up in North Carolina somewhere. And and these these little
- 31:36people, the Cherokee little people, for instance, they are known to especially
- 31:41live around Franklin, North Carolina. Uh, they're spotted around that area.
- 31:44He's not too far from there, okay, where he does his research.
- 31:48And uh. But but if he actually has this a video, now I
- 31:52don't I don't know if it's public. I don't know if he's shown up
- 31:55to the public or anything. But you can clearly see what what I think
- 32:00he had determined that he thought it might be ets or something because he was
- 32:05filming what looked to be like a gray alien two around the area. So,
- 32:09but they liked little people. They're about this big, just tiny,
- 32:15tiny little people and uh and so I don't know. I don't know if
- 32:20they were actual little people like the the the Nuna heat or if they were
- 32:25extraterrestrials. Okay, watch that show? Sorry? Do you remember the old
- 32:32show ghost Hunters came on early two thousands taps? Yes, the one where
- 32:37they were in Ireland and they were outside a couple of them and then all
- 32:43of a sudden, these little figures showed up on the fleer and they were
- 32:45on two legs and they were following them, like tracking them. Did you
- 32:50ever see that episode? I don't know. I don't think so I would
- 32:54remember that one. It may have been season three, episode six. I
- 32:58was trying to find it this morning because I wanted to send you that that
- 33:01video if I could find it, but I didn't. I just did They
- 33:06didn't have that one scene cut out anywhere where I could find it, So
- 33:09if I can, if I can find that, I'll send it to you.
- 33:14Oh yeah, I mean we have little things like Puckwadgis too out in
- 33:17the woods, okay, and those are like you know, like on Star
- 33:20Wars they talk about the Ewoks in the We've got Chewbacca and all the Wookies,
- 33:23but they've also got the little ones the Ewoks. That was my brother's
- 33:27favorite movie when we were kids were all the Ewok Adventures. H And they're
- 33:30just a little bit smaller. But the punk Wedgies are even smaller than Ewoks.
- 33:35Okay. Now, Ewoks are made up. Okay, they're from Star
- 33:37Wars, but I feel like they put the truths out there in movies like
- 33:42Star Wars when it comes to these creatures. So yeah, just these little
- 33:47tainting things. Now, if you also, if you go to TikTok,
- 33:51I know I'm talking about TikTok a lot, but I saw several different creatures
- 33:57on there recently that what like look like little puck wedgies and look like little
- 34:02people in little little fuzzy hairy beings. So I don't know, y'all,
- 34:08y'all go do a deep dive on TikTok and go down that rabbit hole and
- 34:12call me in like three days. Okay, let me know what all y'all
- 34:15found, because yeah, you can really get sucked into a rabbit hole when
- 34:20you get when you start doing this research online. Uh there's just stuff that's
- 34:22so inexplicable on there and uh oh yeah, so okay, let's see.
- 34:31Let's see here. What do we have to talk about? Okay, y'a
- 34:35want to see some weird people. I'll go ahead and show this John.
- 34:37Okay, Like I said, you find some weird stuff on TikTok. Right,
- 34:42Yeah, I've seen that photo. What is this? I mean,
- 34:47I don't know if this is real or not, but I came across this.
- 34:51This is something from a video on TikTok. They say this is a
- 34:53Tommy knocker. I don't know. I don't know, but I thought i'd
- 34:58show it just because it it was. It was weird. Okay, what
- 35:04do you think about that? What do you think about it? I would
- 35:07never go back in the cave again if I saw that. I would never
- 35:13I mean, I mean I would I'd go back. I mean, this
- 35:15is what I do. I like to do this for fun. But that
- 35:17looks like a person. It looks like a human. But who It seems
- 35:22like the whole the whole subject matter, except maybe for the uh, the
- 35:28Native American traditions, but you know, all the European stuff, and even
- 35:34you know, well you know the ancient Rome stuff, which is that you
- 35:37know, it's part of Europe. Now they seem to like mines or caves,
- 35:42and they seem to like to guard, they guard precious metals or or
- 35:47or whatever. There's got to be a there's you know, there's that's a
- 35:53common thread. And I wish I had had more time to look. But
- 35:58there's got to be something somewhere that started this this theme, where this this
- 36:05whole uh phenomena. You know, you hear about, you hear about uh,
- 36:13you hear about similar things in other parts of the paranormal. But these
- 36:20things are all tied in, even you know, and I don't know they're
- 36:24all the same type of being, but they all sure seem to be tied
- 36:28in to the underground and protecting, you know, something valuable. Yes,
- 36:34And I wonder if it goes back, if there's a there's a story from
- 36:40back, maybe in the Greek times or something like that, you know,
- 36:44ancient Greece or one of the earlier civilizations that got the ball rolling on the
- 36:47on this but it's really interesting. Oh yeah, well they said that,
- 36:53actually it was the Roman Empire. I guess the Romans were going. I
- 36:58think it was the Romans they were they were in the ten mindes, the
- 37:02t I n ten Okay, okay, yeah, I know. I got
- 37:07a cold, so I feel like my words aren't coming across very effectively today.
- 37:09But but the ten minds, they said they would they encountered stuff kind
- 37:14of like the Tommy Knockers down in those ten mins back centuries ago, centuries
- 37:21ago. I used the Copper mind from King Solomon's era in my uh in
- 37:30a couple of my novels. I think I want to go back down and
- 37:32look and see if there was any kind of stories like that coming from there
- 37:38from those minds. Absolutely yes, Lenita Bryant, thank you for that super
- 37:44sticker. Thank you so much. Now Lenita has little people on her property
- 37:47too, She has uh, she has all sorts of pictures of not only
- 37:53sasquatch, but the little people and all sorts of stuff out there. So
- 37:57thank you, Lenita. I hope you have a very happy Thanksgiving and uh,
- 38:00and thank you for that. I look, I appreciate your support so
- 38:02much. But yeah, these things have been seen all over the world.
- 38:07They've been heard, they've been felt, they've been experienced in all these caves.
- 38:10But you mentioned them guarding the caves and the mines in the gold.
- 38:16Okay. So something that has become synonymous with Irish mythology is the leprecan Okay.
- 38:24And uh, I mean, I know I've been I want to say,
- 38:30I don't want to say obsessed with leprechauns. I'm not obsessed with them,
- 38:32Okay, any means, I've been curious about Lebrecrons for a long time.
- 38:37I mean, there was a really scary movie series called Leprecawn when I
- 38:42was a kid. Oh my god, if you want to have nightmares,
- 38:45y'all watch Leprechawn. Okay, that movie leprecn one, two, three,
- 38:49I don't know how many they made. Skin Was he a Leprechaun or was
- 38:52he ann Oh my gosh, he was like a lebre Con too. Yeah,
- 38:57he was like a troll, I guess k guarding gold, I believe.
- 39:01So, yeah, I didn't even think about that one. You have
- 39:05brumpel Stiltskin. He's the one that asked the puzzle to let down her long
- 39:07hair. He took her hair. I remember, yeah, I just remember
- 39:14there was a movie about him. I think in the sixties. I was
- 39:16a little bitty guy and I remember the commercial. He walked around canting something
- 39:22and I didn't want to see that movie. That guy's kind of scary.
- 39:29It may have been the seventies, but I think it was the sixties.
- 39:31Oh yeah, creepy. I mean, I don't know what the deal is
- 39:36with the with the trolls and the lepre cons being so being so scary and
- 39:42plus like the trolls that are the bridges and stuff like that. I mean,
- 39:45and they want you to pay a toll, you know, and they
- 39:49want to pay him money. It's got something to do with gold coins or
- 39:52something, some kind of pentacle, some wealth. Right, So all right,
- 40:00I got a little bit of information on leprechauns. Shall we let's talk
- 40:02about leprecauns. Okay, So, lepre cons are figures of Irish folklore.
- 40:07And let me pull up a picture to you. We can we can check
- 40:10out a picture today here. Let me thank you again, Lenita. Okay,
- 40:15So, this is just your typical Irish leprecaun here and uh and this
- 40:21is it looks very much like the gnomes, the gnomes that we hear about
- 40:25in folklore. Also like the Tommy knockers. Okay, it has that elfish
- 40:31look and Santa's elves. Okay, we're coming up on Christmas, y'all.
- 40:36Uh, the elf on the shelf will be making an appearance at my home
- 40:38at some point in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, that thing is
- 40:43a pain in my butt, just so you know. But but yeah,
- 40:45we have we have we have elf we have elves. They pretty much are
- 40:52synonymous with Christmas, right with Santa's elves. Okay, but the leprechaun is
- 41:00guarded as a small and incredibly agile male fairy or goblin. They most often
- 41:06guard a pot of gold. They live solitary lives and could be a source
- 41:08of mishious for the unwary. They are infamous for being extremely difficult to catch
- 41:15or to trap. Okay. Even if a libricon is caught, the captor
- 41:19must keep them always within sight or they will not give away the location of
- 41:23their treasure. Okay, because you want that pot of gold, right and
- 41:28It's usually at the end of a rainbow, but that's where they keep it.
- 41:32They usually keep a crock of gold coins. They share merry many characteristics
- 41:38with more ancient creatures from Irish, Celtic and wider European mythology, but sinsilate
- 41:44nineteenth century, they have risen to the dominant position of being the most recognizable
- 41:51symbol of Irish folklore. So yeah, they're just they have small bodies.
- 41:57I mean, that's kind of what there. They were originally known as the
- 42:01lurcopon lercalpan. I'm not sure how to pronounce that, which means small body,
- 42:07and that was medieval Middle Irish lurcialpon Okay, But yeah, they were
- 42:16part of the Irish oral tradition, long before written folklore written, and they
- 42:21were written about in poems, okay, written about in poems and now.
- 42:24I did a show not too long ago on Space Out Radio with garyl and
- 42:30Jane Okay of mid Midwest Night Watchers, and she wrote sounds Jane's right here.
- 42:36Hey, Jane, I see you in the chat today. I bet
- 42:38geralds in here too. But but yeah, they we talked about mythological creatures
- 42:45of long long ago. John, but it seems as though some of those
- 42:49mythological creatures might not have been so mythological. I think that they actually walked
- 42:53the earth. Okay, including these little leprecawn guys. Well, I agree
- 43:00with you, and I do agree that a lot of the a lot of
- 43:06the characters from mythology actually walked the earth. I have my own opinions on
- 43:12what they were and how they got here, which I won't share today,
- 43:14but I agree. I think the names you hear from the old Greek mythology,
- 43:22and yeah, they were here. I firmly believe that. Now I
- 43:27have a I know you're out on the ancient stuff here, I do have
- 43:30a story a gnome encounter in Nonage of England from nineteen seventy ninet. If
- 43:37you want to hear it, yes, please, I'd love to hear.
- 43:40Okay, there's a thing called Wallington Palace. It's this huge you know,
- 43:46it's like the side of a castle, but it's a palace. I don't
- 43:51know when they quit becoming a palace and become a castle. Maybe the way
- 43:55they're decorated, you know, not all the stone and stuff. But in
- 44:00twenty thirty September nineteen seventy nine, and this this palace takes up a huge
- 44:07area. There was a group of young young boys and girls walking home and
- 44:13it was just getting dark and they were behind they were behind a fence on
- 44:16a property just outside the property where this palace sits. And they were in
- 44:22an area they called the swamps, and it wasn't a swamp per se,
- 44:24but it was heavily wooded, and you know, it was wet, but
- 44:28not swampy. And they started seeing these dome like figures. They were two
- 44:32to three feet tall, and they'd seen them before. Now this gets weird,
- 44:37So these kids decide they want to get a better look, because when
- 44:42they get to the fence, these known things retreat back deeper into the woods.
- 44:46They climb the fence and they go over and then there's there's Now the
- 44:51story didn't give an accurate count, but I would say ten to twenty of
- 44:53these things and they come out. Now this is where it really gets weird,
- 44:59because it starts sounding more like a shriner convention. But these nomes come
- 45:02out of the woods on these little vehicles with two nomess and are chasing these
- 45:08kids around and one of them balls and you didn't get hurt, but he
- 45:13got muddy and uh and then anyway, they it was so bad they couldn't
- 45:19climb the fence. They were being run down that hard by these things.
- 45:22They got to a gate somehow got outside the gate. But uh, yeah,
- 45:28that was a stranger Dome story that they came out. And you know,
- 45:30and this is seventy nine. I don't think you know, we didn't
- 45:34have like the ATVs and all that stuff or side besides then, especially in
- 45:38England, I mean I lived there for three years. You know, they
- 45:43would at tax the heck out of them. I mean we had to pay
- 45:46tax to have a television, you know, So yeah, it was something
- 45:52else. But yeah, I just thought that was an incredible story and they
- 45:55were taken serious by their uh I guess ahead, Master there is the principal.
- 46:01But uh, their story was taken serious and other people have reported seeing
- 46:06them. Now I don't know of anybody else that reported seeing the vehicles.
- 46:08I just thought that was a strange story. Though maybe they were motorized mining
- 46:14carts, who knows. I mean, I think that's great. Okay,
- 46:19So my favorite thing, like every every year we have the Christmas parade in
- 46:22my hometown, and uh, and the strainers always show up with their go
- 46:28karts and their little motorcycles and stuff, so I know what you're talking about.
- 46:31They wear their fez hats and you know, the kind of nightcap looking
- 46:37things that gnomes and stuff were known for. According they threw some photos.
- 46:42I wish I would have thought to get them of them in their little carts
- 46:45and stuff, and they had that normal, you know kind of no yeah,
- 46:52okay, which is interesting because I was I can't remember, I was
- 46:55reading somewhere that hat has some kind of meaning. It's almost like a h
- 47:00The point of it is almost like an antenna or something. I don't know
- 47:04where I read that. I have to do a similar research on that.
- 47:07But this is this is your typical gnome right here, which very much in
- 47:14fact, they said the hats were were red or had red tops, and
- 47:21for one, for some reason, one of the children subscribed them as having
- 47:23black beards, when all the rest said it was white beard. So you
- 47:28know, kid maybe been scared or perception, you know, just how he
- 47:32saw it, you know. Okay, Well, we have stories out of
- 47:38Alaska, okay, And I'm and Fred Fred Ruhll, who I mentioned earlier.
- 47:43He's he is an elder. He's one of a card carrying carry on
- 47:49tribe member in Alaska, and and he he he tells the stories of a
- 47:54lot of the people who have given him their first hand accounts of little people
- 48:00up there in Alaska. And one of the stories that he told on my
- 48:02show a while back was about the some little people. Okay, there's at
- 48:07least two or three different stories that he's told us before, but one of
- 48:12them involved little gnomes that looked just like this with hats on their heads,
- 48:16just like that, Okay, And it was like one of them started.
- 48:21And I believe that the story he told was about a gentleman who was a
- 48:23law enforcement official. He was a sheriff's deputy or a police officer, and
- 48:29he was getting the side of his house was getting knocked on, and it
- 48:32sounded like somebody's beating on the side of his home. So he thought it
- 48:36was his drunk neighbor, okay, wanting to get some more alcoholic see if
- 48:38he had some alcohol at his house or something. So he was irritated.
- 48:43The guy was tired. He jumped out of bed and was going to open
- 48:46up the door tell the guy to go away, and as he opened up
- 48:51his door. There was a little gnome standing there, and the one little
- 48:55gnome turned into like five little gnomes right before his eye. It actually multiplied
- 49:00into multiple gnomes, the little people is what they called it. And uh,
- 49:07and so it was pretty scary for this guy. That was one of
- 49:10the stories. There was another story of some kids that were at home and
- 49:15uh and their their mother was out working, I guess, and the uncle
- 49:19had left a window open in the back of their home because he was sneaking
- 49:22out there and smoking cigarettes, okay, and so he had left, so
- 49:27he had left the back window kind of open. It was cracked open.
- 49:30And they think that that's how these little, these little people were getting into
- 49:32their house at night. And the kids said they'd hear pitter patter on the
- 49:37on the floors at night and uh, and their door would crack open and
- 49:40they'd act like they were sleeping. But there's these little noomes just like this
- 49:43guy right here would walk into their room and look at him, stare at
- 49:46him while they slept. Okay. So there's something about little things like that
- 49:53that are creepier than big things. To me. I don't know why Chilling
- 49:58with my nomis, oh my gosh. I mean every store that you go
- 50:05in right now, it's covered. There's there's all sorts of gnomes. Even
- 50:07I was at Walmart okay this week, and uh, and they've got nomes
- 50:12for their Christmas decorations. And we haven't used gnomes in our garden, right.
- 50:16I mean, this this one right here is looking pretty dapper. Uh
- 50:21but uh, but yeah, there's gnomes are just kind of a part of
- 50:24American tradition now, you know they honestly I feel like it. I guess
- 50:29they came from Europe here and now we have noomes, especially in you know,
- 50:35even like in Danish culture, you know, I theynomes are a big
- 50:40deal there. Okay, I don't know, it's it's pretty much all over
- 50:45Europe mostly. Uh. And yes, the Smurfs are probably based off noomes
- 50:51as well. And that's the interesting point I do. I was making a
- 50:54connection with the Smurfs and you yeah, probably based on gnomes. Absolutely.
- 51:06I have some information on the Smurfs here. But when I think of the
- 51:08Smurfs, I also think, Okay, this is gonna this is gonna be
- 51:12weird. This, this may not have anything to do with the Smurfs at
- 51:15all. But have you guys heard of the Kentucky Are you John? By
- 51:19you guys? I mean you John. Have you heard of the Kentucky Blue
- 51:22People? Never? You've never heard of the Kentucky Blue People. I never
- 51:25heard of them. Okay, well, this is another rabbit hole to go
- 51:30down. Okay, is that? Does that have something to do with This
- 51:34is gonna sound stupid, but Kentucky Bluegrass. I don't. I don't.
- 51:39I don't think so. I don't. I don't think it does. That's
- 51:44nuts. I mean, this is a guy, this is actually a gentleman.
- 51:49Now, this right here is actually a medical condition I believe, But
- 51:52it's caused by Okay, I was talking with Cryptoville. Hey, Cryptoville,
- 51:57he's in the chat today and uh and Cryptoville Uh. I asked him earlier
- 52:01if he had heard of the Kentucky Blue People, and he was like absolutely.
- 52:06Uh. He said, this is actually that it's a skin disease.
- 52:09It's caused by drinking water with silver and chlorine content in it. Okay,
- 52:15Yeah, it's it's the combination of the silver and the chlorine when you drink
- 52:19it in the water, and it causes your skin to turn blue. Now,
- 52:22I do believe that gentleman that I just showed he has passed away.
- 52:27I was reading that he'd had a he had a heart condition, I believe,
- 52:30but yeah, he he had he had blue skin. And you hear
- 52:34about the Kentucky blue blue skin people. I've been hearing about them for a
- 52:38while now. But but it reminds me of the Smurf. Now, this
- 52:43fugate, the fu Gate family. I think that's how you pronounce it.
- 52:45Uh that they actually Okay, I heard it their blue skin was from in
- 52:50breeding. Okay, it's what I heard, but it could be from the
- 52:52water as well. It depends on what story you're reading. I guess it.
- 53:00I think when you were a child, did I love the Smurs when
- 53:05I was a child, Absolutely, that was one of my favorite cartoons.
- 53:08Actually, and uh, and I made the connection because we're talking about the
- 53:13little people today. When you go to the opposite end of the spectrum,
- 53:17John, we have the Titans, okay, the alleged like mountain ranges and
- 53:24mountains that are sleeping giants, and we have these gigantic like mushrooms and it
- 53:30looks like animals that have been petrified, like the petrified giants. And you
- 53:34see these gigantic mushrooms. It reminded me of like, well, what if
- 53:37we're the smurs, you know what I mean, you're the little people I
- 53:45was I was too old for the summers. But you can tell about looking
- 53:47at me and never saw a kebler elp. I didn't like, Oh yeah,
- 53:52the keebler help. Well that's another one there. There's so much in
- 53:57our there. They're just all in our pop culture. Okay, the little
- 54:01people dismerse. Even the fairies too. I mean, I know we're not
- 54:05talking about fairies today. We talked about those a couple of weeks ago.
- 54:07Fairies too. If you go back to the Irish version or the old world
- 54:13version of fairy, it ain't Tinkerbell, you know that they talk about.
- 54:19In fact, that episode of Ghost Centers I mentioned to you, where these
- 54:22little things are following them, they thought they may have been fairies. Oh
- 54:29really, well, I have to wonder sometimes because when we're out in the
- 54:31field and we're getting orbs out there, it's like balls of light. What
- 54:37if those balls of light those could be fairies. I've never made that connection
- 54:42of the orbs being fairies, but it could be some sort of an elemental
- 54:45out there because we don't know what these We don't know what the orbs are.
- 54:51Sometimes they follow us, sometimes they follow us around. Sometimes they make
- 54:55V shaped patterns, and they make patterns and then they sometimes it's I believe
- 55:00that an orb could be a non corporeal form of a sasquatch. I don't
- 55:06know. I don't know. We don't know. We absolutely don't know.
- 55:13But uh yeah, Amy says colloidal silver causes that in high doses. Yeah,
- 55:19I love taking coloid. I need to take I can't pronounce it.
- 55:22I need to take some get rid of my cold. But yeah, we
- 55:28I had no idea anything could turn your skin blue, John, I had
- 55:30no idea. Yeah, I got some of that coloidal silver too. I
- 55:37never take it, though, I took one dose of It's like I'll keep
- 55:40the cold. Yeah, no, I don't mind it. I think it's
- 55:45really good for you. I really do. I think it's I think it's
- 55:47very good for you. So okay, So, but we did touch on
- 55:52the blue people out of Kentucky. I know I only brought them up because
- 55:54of the Smurfs. Now, I do believe that the Smurfs started off as
- 56:00like a Belgian or a French. I can't remember. It's Belgian or French
- 56:04cartoon or there were there were characters out of there, and there were humanoid
- 56:07creatures that lived in mushroom shaped houses in the forest. I guess it was
- 56:14back in nineteen fifty eight. I had no idea they were that old.
- 56:16Okay, I thought this most there, they're old. Just kidding. I
- 56:30thought they were created back when I was a kid. I mean, it's
- 56:32not that much farther after I was born. I mean, what twenty years
- 56:37so, but yeah, they were, you know. I just I feel
- 56:44like it's just part of oral tradition. Things have been passed down about these
- 56:49little people that live under mushrooms and stuff. I think there could be some
- 56:53truth behind it, Okay. I also have some pictures here of the Cherokee
- 56:58little people is well, if you guys are interested in seeing these, These
- 57:02are just some of the artists pictures of them. I mean this, that's
- 57:06that's kind of the size for size reference. This is a drawing, of
- 57:09course, or a painting, but that's kind of for size reference. That's
- 57:13what the little people look like right there of the Cherokee nights. And also
- 57:17you said the chalk tall little people. I think it's it's it's just native
- 57:24American lore. Okay, I have another picture here. That's how little there
- 57:30are. Those Those are about the size of what smurfh would be. I
- 57:34guess right, they're little people are see more proportion more like more human like
- 57:45proportions for their size. They're not you know, that dwarf looking stocky.
- 57:52They look, you know, just like miniature people, miniature humans. That's
- 57:58right, they do, like the way the artist are rendering them. Any
- 58:04yes, you're right, they just look like miniature humans. Whereas uh,
- 58:08and and this one looks pretty terrifying. It looks like an ogre or something.
- 58:13But these do they look like little little humans? Okay? And uh
- 58:16and with the with the gnomes, well the gnomes do too. Actually,
- 58:22uh, the the Tommy Knockers, they look more just like little humans in
- 58:24my opinion, but I know the features with the nose and the chins and
- 58:32then yeah, they're very there. They are kind of elfish. So I
- 58:38mean, here's here's some more pictures. I mean, these are just drawings,
- 58:43you know of them, but they do they do appear more elfish.
- 58:52Yeah, those are some cool pictures. I don't know, they're they're pretty
- 58:57they're pretty cool to look into you. And yeah, I mean I want
- 59:01Tommy Knockers there with me if I was in a cave and there was impending
- 59:06doom, you know, something to warn to warn me to get out of
- 59:08there. I think that it's I think they're very beneficial, most definitely.
- 59:15And yeah, I wanted to get back to the Cherokee little people for here
- 59:21for just a second. Let's see, let me pull some of these comments
- 59:25up, y'all. Okay, I got more super stigrets. Thank y'all so
- 59:30much. Amy, thank you so much for that super stigar. I appreciate
- 59:34you so much. And I see Bigfoot Michigan rob in here, Thank you
- 59:37too, Bigfoot Michigan Robymr You're awesome. Okay. So so then Nuna he
- 59:45Okay, the little people of the Cherokee, they wore the Cherokee of impending
- 59:50danger, okay, and protected them in times of need. John, Okay,
- 59:54So that sounds a lot like the Tommy Tommy Knockers. But these are
- 59:59the Cherokee people, okay, And so it's andy. They live subterranean as
- 1:00:04well, in the trees, in the stone, behind the stone doors in
- 1:00:08the side of the mountains. It's very similar to the Tommy Knockers, aren't
- 1:00:13they. Yes, sounds a lot Michael super very much so, it says.
- 1:00:21One of the most well known stories about the Nuanahet tells how they helped
- 1:00:23the Cherokee before their moval. In eighteen thirty eight, the Cherokee were forced
- 1:00:27to leave their homeland and resettle in Oklahoma. They came to a Cherokee village
- 1:00:32and told the people to pack their belongings and prepare to leave in seven days
- 1:00:37to come with to live with them in Nunaha, to come live with the
- 1:00:40nuanaheet for a great catashphe was about to happen worse than anything had ever happened
- 1:00:45before to the Cherokee. So they were like harbingers or whatever. Like.
- 1:00:51They were telling them like, hey, you got something coming. You don't
- 1:00:53know what it is, but just trust us, pack up and come with
- 1:00:57us. After seven days, the nunahe returned for the Cherokee and led them
- 1:01:02to a large stone deep in the mountains. As a Cherokee watched, the
- 1:01:07stone rolled away, revealing an entrance to the mountain. Inside the mountain was
- 1:01:14the most beautiful place a Cherokee had ever seen, and many families rushed into
- 1:01:17the mountain without ever looking back. However, some of the people refused to
- 1:01:22enter, and instead chose to stay outside and face faced whatever was about to
- 1:01:28happen to them. The people who remained outside were later forced to leave their
- 1:01:31homes and resettle in Oklahoma. The people who remained are the people who chose
- 1:01:37to live in with the nunnahe escape this fate of their fellow Cherokee. According
- 1:01:43to the story, it is from this group of Cherokee that the small number
- 1:01:45of modern Cherokee who still live on their native lands is descended. Wow.
- 1:01:52Interesting, I think that's a really interesting story. Okay, what's going on
- 1:02:00underground? Y'all? I think that was my quote Journey to Truth podcast.
- 1:02:04That's what my buddy Tyler put that up on for the thumbnail of the show
- 1:02:07I did with them. We were talking about underground and Inner Earth and Argatha
- 1:02:12and the deep underground military bases. And that's a good question, like,
- 1:02:16what's going on underground? John? What is going underground and inside these mountains?
- 1:02:22Who knows? Yeah, I've seen videos like of trains disappearing in the
- 1:02:25mountains and things like that. It's there's something weird going on unless somebody dci
- 1:02:32am, you know, messing with the graphics. I've seen some weird stuff
- 1:02:37with the mountains. Are you talking about like holographic? Well, I don't
- 1:02:45know that. I mean I've seen where these trucks just drive and they just
- 1:02:50drive into a mountain. They're just gone. I've seen a train even so
- 1:02:54I don't know. You know, it could be somebody's photoshopped or video shopped
- 1:03:00or whatever they call, you know, altered it using CGI graphics or something.
- 1:03:06But it looks it looks really weird and believable. Yeah. Wow,
- 1:03:13there's there's so much going on in this world. We just don't know.
- 1:03:15We don't know what this stuff is. So I don't get a whole lot
- 1:03:22of reports of the little people, you know, we get reports of cryptids
- 1:03:27as far as like bigfoot sightings and dog Man and uh, the dinosaurs and
- 1:03:32the appellations. I mean, the appellations are so full of high strangeness and
- 1:03:37and that's where those blue blue skin people are from, you know. And
- 1:03:43yeah, the I'm trying to think what else the blue skin people? And
- 1:03:47uh, I mean I can imagine things like the Smurfs living in places like
- 1:03:52the appellations, I mean that's the all APAs to so yeah, yeah,
- 1:03:58absolutely totally. Okay, Well, I was just trying. I was wanting
- 1:04:02to kind of make that connection to the nunnahe and the Cherokee little people and
- 1:04:08then being harbagers of I don't say bad news or whatever, but saviors and
- 1:04:14like helping people. But also they helped during the Civil War as well,
- 1:04:20if I can find that story here, they had helped during the Civil War.
- 1:04:25Apparently the Union soldiers had marched down into North Carolina and they were planning
- 1:04:30to burn I mean it was on I guess it was Sherman's march down through
- 1:04:32the South, like burning everything in this path and destroying all the cities and
- 1:04:36the towns and everything. They went to what is now known as Franklin,
- 1:04:41North Carolina. The Union soldiers were there. They were ordered to burn the
- 1:04:45town down, okay, but when they got there, they what they told
- 1:04:50their commander was that the whole town was guarded by huge soldiers, like too
- 1:04:56many soldiers where they they just didn't want to mess with it. It was
- 1:04:58going to be too much, too much trouble. And it turns out the
- 1:05:02Cherokee said that that wasn't actually the townspeople. Those were the little people there
- 1:05:08that had I guess they could shape shift into human looking people, like the
- 1:05:13size of humans. And they were there guarding the town because all the people
- 1:05:17who were able able body people out of Franklin, that area that's known as
- 1:05:21Franklin today, they had gone off to Word to fight, so there was
- 1:05:25nobody there to defend their town. So it had to have been them and
- 1:05:30that was the only reason their town was not destroyed by the Union soldiers.
- 1:05:33So interesting history there where they they're protective, protective of the people, and
- 1:05:40protective of the land. So yeah, so they're protecting the people. The
- 1:05:46Leprecrons are protecting the gold. They're all protecting something. But yeah, cool.
- 1:05:56I don't know, is there anything else? I don't know. I'm
- 1:05:58trying to keep up with chat over here. I'm sorry, y'all. I
- 1:06:02want to just say that this has been a really fun show so far.
- 1:06:05And uh, John, do you have any final thoughts on the on the
- 1:06:09little people and uh and the Tommy Knockers today, because this has been really
- 1:06:12fun. I love talk. I don't know. I mean, this is
- 1:06:16the subject I've never ever really researched much. I mean, I've heard a
- 1:06:21lot of stories. Their impact on culture. You can't deny it. I
- 1:06:27mean they're in everything Lord of the Rings, World of Warcraft game. As
- 1:06:32you were saying, home Depot, you know, it might as well be
- 1:06:35known depot. Yeah, tom Tommy, you know stuff it rhymes bigger,
- 1:06:48you know, and that like a minor Tommy, Tommy knockers Tommy. Yes,
- 1:06:55a new clothing line. There you go, that's what you ought to
- 1:06:58do. Tom Oh my gosh, I'm giving jewelry. Oh my gosh,
- 1:07:03don't give me. Don't give me any ideas. I'm already too busy right
- 1:07:08now with all my with all my creative thoughts over here. But yeah,
- 1:07:12that's a great idea, great idea. Interesting knowing it is. For the
- 1:07:15most part, they're benevolent, you know. There's not really a lot of
- 1:07:21bad stuff going on with them, except maybe the Leprecauns. I think the
- 1:07:26Leprecauns can get a little testy canty, Yes, But have you ever had
- 1:07:31the one really attacking people or being a menace of any kind. I don't
- 1:07:35think I have. Uh, I mean I don't know. I mean,
- 1:07:43we, you know, we get things like that we consider to be trickster
- 1:07:45spirits in our base camps when we're out in the woods. But what is
- 1:07:49a trickster spirit, you know? I mean, could it be elemental?
- 1:07:54Could it be a no? Maybe, I don't know. I mean we
- 1:07:58we like to think of them as like a a ghost or spirit kind of
- 1:08:00a thing. Look at a look at an alien gray what of his craft?
- 1:08:06And it's an orb and he's just one of these things, you know.
- 1:08:10But since it's an orb that appeared in the sky, we assume it
- 1:08:14came from the stars. It may be nothing more than one of these a
- 1:08:16type of you know, who knows? That's right, who knows? FAP,
- 1:08:24Welcome back. I hadn't seen you in a while, he said,
- 1:08:27Ess, I ain't going to visit you in those small mountains outloaded from the
- 1:08:30army with everything. You're too weird. I know, I'm weird. I
- 1:08:31take that as a badge of honor. I love and I love all my
- 1:08:35fellow weirdos here today with me. I am so weird. Yeah, that's
- 1:08:41that's what keeps me safe, is that nobody wants to come around me because
- 1:08:44I'm so weird. I like that. I'm just kidding. Oh yeah,
- 1:08:51yeah, I mean who's the same. There could also be a lot of
- 1:08:57misidentified activity doing out there. You know the two lights I told you about
- 1:09:03on the mountain that went down and came back up. You know, originally
- 1:09:06it's operate ATVs. My first thought when I saw that was UFO, because
- 1:09:12that's just the way I think. And then you know, I talked to
- 1:09:15the guy goes, no, that was probably the talk to all the little
- 1:09:19people their lamps, and I'm like, what are you talking about? And
- 1:09:23then I hear that, and I'm like, wow, see, I wouldn't
- 1:09:26have considered that. So yeah, well, you know, I've seen things
- 1:09:30that were looked like a lamp going through the woods before and tree. The
- 1:09:33head of one of my teams, uh, when he was out I think
- 1:09:36he was on one of the trails out and down here in the south somewhere
- 1:09:41when he was younger. He actually woke up one night was seeing a light
- 1:09:45through his tent and he poked to set out of his tent and there was
- 1:09:48a lantern floating down the trail. Okay, and this is way deep in
- 1:09:54the Appalachian mountains, and I think eventually it looked like a woman was carrying
- 1:09:59a but it was like a lantern kind of a thing. Lanterns are very
- 1:10:03common in ghost stories, okay, and in local legends and lore. There's
- 1:10:09actually where I went to college, down at Georgia Southern University, Okay,
- 1:10:13down in Statesboro, Georgia. There's a place called Ghost Road, And for
- 1:10:17fun, we would go there on the weekends and uh or early week nights,
- 1:10:24usually the weekends. Oh and and you drive down this desolate road in
- 1:10:28the middle of nowhere, in between some fields, like it's a lot of
- 1:10:33farm land out there, okay, and so, but you go down this
- 1:10:36road and there's like a factory down the road. You can cure the home
- 1:10:40from the factory once you get out there, but other than that, there's
- 1:10:42no noise out there. And there's just one it looks like a little house
- 1:10:46or a shack kind of in the road on the side of the road,
- 1:10:49and a lamp like a street light, a street light, and underneath this
- 1:10:54light you can see a soldier walking back and forth kind of patrolling the area
- 1:10:59with a with his bayonet and his gun over one of his shoulders, and
- 1:11:02he just walks back and forth underneath that street light all night. And that's
- 1:11:05a ghost if you get enough courage. You can actually turn on your car
- 1:11:11and drive right through him, and I've done it. Yeah. But another
- 1:11:15story. I've not seen the lantern before, but some people that go it
- 1:11:18looks like a lantern will start coming towards you from where that soldier is.
- 1:11:25It looks like somebody is holding a lantern and it just starts floating towards you.
- 1:11:28Because you park your car about one hundred yards away, about fifty yards
- 1:11:31away, and you walk down the road towards it, and you don't usually
- 1:11:34get closer to it than that unless you drive through it. But it's a
- 1:11:39lantern. And I mean there have been times when I've been out in the
- 1:11:42field and we've seen something that we thought might be a lantern, but it
- 1:11:45turned out to be orbs which turn out to be spacecraft. Okay, So,
- 1:11:53like I said, a lot of this could be misidentified, or maybe
- 1:11:56things are morphing, who knows, who knows. It's all weird, weird
- 1:12:00stuff. But wow, wow, I think we've covered Tommy Knockers in the
- 1:12:06Nomes pretty well. John, Thank you so much for being here today.
- 1:12:12You always do well. Thank you, thank you so much. Well.
- 1:12:16I hope you have some good Thanksgiving plans for tomorrow along with everybody that's wa
- 1:12:21washing to day. You have plans, John, Yeah, we're going down
- 1:12:27to Texas. Can't make it to see all the kids. Going to go
- 1:12:30see a couple of them tomorrow and then have another get together in a couple
- 1:12:34of weeks, kind of combined Christmas and Thanksgiving. We got so many kids
- 1:12:40between us, we you know, got our own tribe. Oh that's great,
- 1:12:45that's awesome. No, man, Yeah, the more people the better
- 1:12:48too. You know, we've got a lot, We've got a lot of
- 1:12:50driving around and cooking Tomorrow. I got to cook in the morning, and
- 1:12:55then we've got houses to go to with all the family all over Georgia.
- 1:12:58So it's gonna be ay and man, I want to thank everybody for being
- 1:13:02here today. This has been such a fun show. And I will not
- 1:13:08be live tomorrow night. By the way, I usually have a show every
- 1:13:10Thursday night, and Tomorrow night we're not going to have a live show.
- 1:13:14I am going to be airing a very special show on the Georgia Werewolf.
- 1:13:19Okay, so at the normal time at eight pm, my friends Angie and
- 1:13:25Bryce Okay Bryce from Esoteric at Lena we did a show together a little while
