- 0:01Speaker 1: The following feature has been rated R by the Motion
- 0:04Speaker 1: Picture Association of America. It is intended for mature audiences
- 0:08Speaker 1: and parental discretion is advised. Our nuclear reactor pumping out
- 0:14Speaker 1: one million kilowatts of power.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I think that I am familiar with the fact that
- 0:47Speaker 2: you are going to ignore this particular problem until it
- 0:50Speaker 2: swims up and bites you on the ass. What's up
- 0:56Speaker 2: and welcome to Movie Meltdown.
- 0:57Speaker 3: I am Brian. I'm Johnny.
- 1:00Speaker 4: I am Misty. I'm Marlena.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Let's see. Jay's phoning in his interaction this week.
- 1:07Speaker 5: This is the first time we have more chicks than dudes.
- 1:10Speaker 6: Do what?
- 1:10Speaker 7: This is the first time we have more chicks than dudes.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I don't know. It's pretty balanced most of the time, really.
- 1:17Speaker 2: And Greg was going to be here, but he emailed
- 1:19Speaker 2: me and said he wants nothing to do with a
- 1:20Speaker 2: show that's as racist as we are. He actually did.
- 1:24Speaker 3: He was joking, but.
- 1:26Speaker 2: It was in response to, I don't know.
- 1:28Speaker 8: Me?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of. I wasn't going to, well, normally we
- 1:34Speaker 2: would throw this at the end, but I think this
- 1:35Speaker 2: is actually more important than feedback. This is something I
- 1:39Speaker 2: wanted to address at the beginning. But yeah, we've touched
- 1:43Speaker 2: on a lot of hot button topics lately. Racism, misogyny, immigration,
- 1:48Speaker 2: all these things that we could get called out for.
- 1:50Speaker 7: And I've pissed a lot of people off.
- 1:51Speaker 2: But what did we get called out for? Redheads.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Did they call her?
- 1:59Speaker 2: Is Greg a redhead? We got a little feedback on
- 2:04Speaker 2: the forums that was not so pleased with our comments
- 2:07Speaker 2: and our behavior. I just wanted to say up front,
- 2:11Speaker 2: these are the jokes, folks. We're kind of screwing around
- 2:14Speaker 2: every week.
- 2:14Speaker 9: I have plenty of red-headed friends, and I love them very,
- 2:19Speaker 9: very much.
- 2:19Speaker 7: I don't. I don't have any red-headed friends.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Five red-headed people.
- 2:22Speaker 8: I mean, we're all joking when we make fun of
- 2:24Speaker 8: people with red hair.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Misty's not.
- 2:27Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, just in general, we say a lot of
- 2:30Speaker 2: horrible things every week, and we realize that, but a
- 2:33Speaker 2: lot of it is completely meant to be a joke,
- 2:36Speaker 2: and sometimes we sell it really well, and I don't
- 2:38Speaker 2: know if everybody realizes that.
- 2:40Speaker 7: Did I get severe hate mail on that?
- 2:42Speaker 2: Not exactly, no.
- 2:43Speaker 3: But at least somebody, you know, at least addressed it.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Is this going to hurt my feelings?
- 2:47Speaker 4: Touching.
- 2:51Speaker 2: No, I mean, it's on the forums, and I actually responded,
- 2:55Speaker 2: and he responded back, and it actually balanced out a
- 2:58Speaker 2: little better. I think he expected me to come back with, um,
- 3:01Speaker 2: shut up, you're probably a redhead, and then, you know,
- 3:04Speaker 2: he was probably planning on, you know, responding equally, but
- 3:07Speaker 2: we ended up having sort of a real discussion, so.
- 3:10Speaker 10: I don't know.
- 3:11Speaker 2: That's kind of what I wanted to come of it
- 3:13Speaker 2: was just to make known that, you know, we realize
- 3:16Speaker 2: we're screwing around every week to take it, you know,
- 3:18Speaker 2: with a grain of salt because that's how it's all meant.
- 3:21Speaker 3: It's us just joking.
- 3:22Speaker 2: And sometimes, you know, it sort of restates what I
- 3:25Speaker 2: said in there. But comedy is sort of a you
- 3:28Speaker 2: get it or you don't and you can't really make
- 3:30Speaker 2: people get your sense of humor if they don't. So.
- 3:34Speaker 2: Hopefully everybody, at least the regular listeners, understand that when
- 3:37Speaker 2: we're making these generalized statements about things, it's not exactly
- 3:42Speaker 2: 100% there.
- 3:43Speaker 3: We're just screwing around, guys.
- 3:45Speaker 7: And I don't want everybody to think that I just
- 3:47Speaker 7: hate redheads. I hate everybody.
- 3:48Speaker 2: See? And that's true. I mean, most of ours are
- 3:51Speaker 2: us just saying terrible things. Misty hates everyone completely equally.
- 3:56Speaker 5: In different special ways.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Yeah. So it's different, you know. I don't know. I mean,
- 4:03Speaker 2: to me, there's a warning on iTunes. There's a warning
- 4:06Speaker 2: that I put at the beginning of every show. And
- 4:08Speaker 2: it's not just a warning for bad language. It's also
- 4:10Speaker 2: for bad taste.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Yeah, bad taste.
- 4:12Speaker 2: We say terrible things.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Talk about bad taste.
- 4:16Speaker 2: We say... Horrible things week in and week out. And
- 4:19Speaker 2: I realize that. But again, we're doing it for entertainment value.
- 4:23Speaker 2: I mean, I don't pretend like this is a really
- 4:26Speaker 2: important information transfer. I hope, you know, at best we're
- 4:31Speaker 2: just regurgitating stuff off the Internet. Information wise, I hope
- 4:34Speaker 2: what we bring to it is at least some sort of. entertainment, comedy, perhaps.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's questionable, I suppose. But at least we intend for
- 4:43Speaker 2: it to be comedy. So, I mean, you can argue
- 4:46Speaker 2: that it may not be funny, but at least go
- 4:48Speaker 2: into it knowing that we're joking around and we don't
- 4:51Speaker 2: mean anything by many of these horrible, horrible things we say.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Yeah, and if it bothers you that much, just don't listen.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Well, and that was my thing. I mean, I realized
- 5:00Speaker 2: early on that, you know, in grade school, there was
- 5:02Speaker 2: this kid that just hated me. Like, not even like
- 5:04Speaker 2: we didn't get along. It wasn't like, oh, they're picking on. No,
- 5:07Speaker 2: it was like we never even had anything to do
- 5:09Speaker 2: with each other. But just from day one, just didn't
- 5:12Speaker 2: like me. And I think, you know, that young, I
- 5:13Speaker 2: realized you can't please everybody. There's some people that just
- 5:18Speaker 2: like you or they don't, and it's going to stay
- 5:19Speaker 2: that way. And really, you wouldn't want to try. Because
- 5:22Speaker 2: you can't, you know, by the time you attempt to
- 5:24Speaker 2: please everybody, you've watered down what it is you're doing
- 5:28Speaker 2: to the point that it's not even worth it.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Doing with.
- 5:30Speaker 2: Yeah, it's not worth us doing. It's not worth you
- 5:32Speaker 2: listening to. So hopefully, at least, you know, by us
- 5:35Speaker 2: remaining who we are. I mean, I've tried to give
- 5:38Speaker 2: everybody here license to say whatever the hell they want.
- 5:41Speaker 2: And I think along the way, that's become one of
- 5:44Speaker 2: the strengths of the show. I think it gives everybody
- 5:46Speaker 2: a chance to. To have their own voice and to
- 5:48Speaker 2: be their own person, to be their own character within
- 5:51Speaker 2: the show. And I think going through and having to
- 5:54Speaker 2: censor that or water it down so that people won't
- 5:58Speaker 2: be offended. I don't know. I don't want to do that.
- 6:01Speaker 2: If it comes to that, then why do we have
- 6:03Speaker 2: a show? So that having been said.
- 6:05Speaker 4: This is America. Get over it.
- 6:08Speaker 2: We're just having fun here, guys. And hopefully you are, too.
- 6:11Speaker 2: If not, yeah, I don't know why you're listening.
- 6:13Speaker 9: Yeehaw.
- 6:14Speaker 2: So, yeah, that folder is open on the forum, so palavr.com.
- 6:21Speaker 2: Go there, you can leave your comments. I mean, I
- 6:24Speaker 2: tried to balance it out and give my side as
- 6:26Speaker 2: to what I was doing, but I'm sure many people
- 6:29Speaker 2: will still be offended, so if that's the case, I
- 6:31Speaker 2: apologize if you took offense, but I won't apologize for
- 6:35Speaker 2: putting the show together like this, because this is what
- 6:37Speaker 2: I think it needs to be, so.
- 6:38Speaker 3: I also hate you just because you're human.
- 6:40Speaker 2: Yeah, that too. Which, that I'm fine with. I've been
- 6:43Speaker 2: following you since.
- 6:44Speaker 7: Do I?
- 6:44Speaker 3: Apparently that's following you since.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I still get a lot of that.
- 6:48Speaker 3: It's the same kid. He's grown up.
- 6:49Speaker 2: I still get a lot of people that just genuinely
- 6:53Speaker 2: dislike me.
- 6:54Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:57Speaker 2: At least I know everybody hates you guys, too, so
- 6:59Speaker 2: it's okay. It's cool.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Whatever, dude.
- 7:01Speaker 5: You know what I said? They hated me. It's okay.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Whatever you said.
- 7:05Speaker 7: You're not a racist like me, so.
- 7:08Speaker 7: You're not a redhead hater like me.
- 7:13Speaker 1: Alrighty.
- 7:15Speaker 2: All that out of the way.
- 7:16Speaker 4: Welcome to Shark to Biz Extravaganza!
- 7:18Speaker 2: Woo!
- 7:21Speaker 8: We all wore our bikinis in celebration for this glorious day.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Just so you know, people.
- 7:26Speaker 7: Everybody's at home visualizing this. We're way hot, so it's okay. Yeah.
- 7:35Speaker 2: I felt a little uncomfortable. I wore a one-piece.
- 7:39Speaker 7: Like one of those old 30s ones.
- 7:42Speaker 2: With the ruffles.
- 7:43Speaker 4: You make jokes, but I've seen a picture of Brian
- 7:45Speaker 4: in a Speedo.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Ruffles and leggings. I don't even know what you're talking about.
- 7:50Speaker 5: You were like.
- 7:51Speaker 8: maybe seven or eight you and your dad had matching speedos.
- 7:54Speaker 2: That's probably true because my dad's still i think he
- 7:57Speaker 2: still has that one i think he still wears it
- 7:59Speaker 2: it's yeah we've tried to convince him for years no
- 8:02Speaker 2: really let's let's get you some trunks big trunks.
- 8:04Speaker 11: Big people yeah this is fun.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Well, he just swims in the backyard. It's no big deal.
- 8:12Speaker 3: There's no pool back there. There's no pool back there.
- 8:15Speaker 7: They just lay in the backyard.
- 8:20Speaker 2: Whatever he wants to do, we don't talk about it.
- 8:22Speaker 2: We just have fun out in the yard.
- 8:24Speaker 3: It's okay.
- 8:25Speaker 5: At least if it's springtime.
- 8:28Speaker 3: If you have little floaties, too.
- 8:29Speaker 2: Well, you don't want him to drown.
- 8:31Speaker 7: Come on.
- 8:36Speaker 4: Your dad doesn't listen to this show, does he?
- 8:39Speaker 2: Why would he want to, really? So yeah, to kick
- 8:43Speaker 2: it off, at least while we're having the goings on here,
- 8:47Speaker 2: we can start the first phase of the, you know,
- 8:49Speaker 2: we have to throw ridiculous food at our items, so
- 8:52Speaker 2: at least we have the hors d'oeuvres during the geek
- 8:54Speaker 2: week here.
- 8:55Speaker 3: What are those?
- 8:57Speaker 4: What is that? So, we have.
- 9:02Speaker 3: Crab and lobster.
- 9:04Speaker 7: Nice.
- 9:04Speaker 2: We're pretty fancy around here.
- 9:06Speaker 3: And they're on Wheat Things?
- 9:08Speaker 2: Of course.
- 9:08Speaker 7: Yes.
- 9:09Speaker 2: As everything should be on Wheat Things.
- 9:11Speaker 3: Excellent.
- 9:11Speaker 4: You let me know how that is.
- 9:13Speaker 2: This episode is sponsored by Wheat Things. Please send us one.
- 9:16Speaker 5: I'm a huge fan of imitation crab, so it's fantastic.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Go on with the popcorn.
- 9:23Speaker 4: Missy's just looking terrified.
- 9:25Speaker 7: I am.
- 9:25Speaker 2: Oh yeah. You want your box of Wheat Thins?
- 9:27Speaker 7: I might have a Wheat Thin.
- 9:28Speaker 2: You get the original recipe.
- 9:30Speaker 3: Because she's picky.
- 9:31Speaker 8: I probably could have gotten some fancy seafood first, but
- 9:37Speaker 8: I got a big jug of Chambord instead.
- 9:39Speaker 2: I see your priorities.
- 9:42Speaker 3: I taste bits of shark and octopus.
- 9:45Speaker 2: That's what we were going for.
- 9:46Speaker 4: I just want you to know.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Or at least every animal that shark and octopi eat.
- 9:51Speaker 2: And I actually checked into it being the nerd that
- 9:54Speaker 2: I am. They eat weird things? They eat fucking everything.
- 9:57Speaker 5: Wait, wait.
- 9:59Speaker 7: Fuck that.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Love wheat heads, especially the garlic herb ones. So you
- 10:02Speaker 3: meant to say that these are stomach scrapers.
- 10:05Speaker 2: Basically.
- 10:07Speaker 4: It's like octopus poop.
- 10:10Speaker 2: That's why they're presented on.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Octopus poop.
- 10:14Speaker 2: That's why they're presented on a license plate. Yeah, right.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I pulled them out of a tire.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Five miles offshore.
- 10:19Speaker 9: I'm just really glad that smells like one of you two.
- 10:24Speaker 7: I'm just kidding.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Wow.
- 10:27Speaker 10: All right. Moving on into the Geek Week. So, this week,
- 10:36Speaker 10: I've given up on most.
- 10:38Speaker 2: TV, actually, and that's no surprise. I just... don't care
- 10:42Speaker 2: I don't pay attention to what's on every once in
- 10:44Speaker 2: a while I watch something but most of the time
- 10:46Speaker 2: it's by accident One of the few things that's been
- 10:49Speaker 2: sort of the exception to that rule, his Modern Family.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Have you watched Modern Family?
- 10:56Speaker 5: I really dig that show.
- 10:57Speaker 2: It's one of those that when it first came on,
- 10:59Speaker 2: I saw the commercial, and I was like, I was
- 11:01Speaker 2: kind of sold right off the bat, because I'm like, okay,
- 11:03Speaker 2: it's the new Ed O'Neill show. That works for me
- 11:05Speaker 2: right there. It's like, as long as it's got Ed
- 11:06Speaker 2: O'Neill in it, I'm sold on whatever this is. Anything
- 11:09Speaker 2: with him, and it's awesome, so that's cool. But yeah,
- 11:12Speaker 2: I found out as it went on, it's... amazingly well
- 11:15Speaker 2: put together. It's just so well written. It's not shot
- 11:19Speaker 2: like a sitcom. It's shot almost more in like a
- 11:21Speaker 2: movie style or Mixed in with, like, its own weird, like,
- 11:25Speaker 2: reality television angle to it, but not really. So, yeah,
- 11:29Speaker 2: it's just... I mean, it's not one of those that
- 11:32Speaker 2: nobody knows about, because, I mean, it's got... A couple
- 11:35Speaker 2: weeks ago, it got six Emmys. I mean, it won
- 11:37Speaker 2: Best Comedy, so it's certainly well-received.
- 11:40Speaker 5: Its first season was fantastic.
- 11:42Speaker 2: Yeah, even the first season. I think this week was, like, the...
- 11:46Speaker 2: first season premiere for the second season and it's yeah
- 11:49Speaker 2: it's still hanging in there it's equally as impressive so
- 11:52Speaker 2: but otherwise yeah aside from that um the only thing
- 11:55Speaker 2: i watched movie wise i did go back i borrowed
- 11:58Speaker 2: star trek from misty last week so i did go
- 12:01Speaker 2: back and watch the the jj abrams and yeah so which.
- 12:06Speaker 12: I think is excellent a lot of people still hate
- 12:07Speaker 12: it or what i'm like it looks good it's fun
- 12:09Speaker 12: to watch.
- 12:10Speaker 3: I don't know what your problem is. But I'm not
- 12:13Speaker 3: a purist.
- 12:15Speaker 2: But even for purists, I think he found a way
- 12:17Speaker 2: to do it really clever and not screw up the
- 12:20Speaker 2: whole universe. So I don't know. It's kind of cool.
- 12:22Speaker 2: But I forgot just how much they just spend the
- 12:27Speaker 2: entire movie beating the hell out of Chris Pine. like
- 12:30Speaker 2: yeah at every turn he's like beat up just like
- 12:34Speaker 2: the through the whole movie his face is like beat
- 12:36Speaker 2: the hell he's still gorgeous i don't know he's a
- 12:38Speaker 2: pretty boy but they tried to ugly him up as
- 12:40Speaker 2: much as possible and it failed he's scabbed and scarred
- 12:43Speaker 2: and bloody through the whole damn movie yeah yeah that
- 12:49Speaker 2: too he's our next best action hero yeah i guess so.
- 12:52Speaker 7: And i still hate the noose block.
- 12:56Speaker 2: I still have my same problem with it. I think
- 12:57Speaker 2: he just doesn't come off as unemotional at all. He
- 13:01Speaker 2: just seems angry. He's just angry and pouty. I can
- 13:05Speaker 2: understand at the moments when they push him over the
- 13:08Speaker 2: edge and he's supposed to be like that, but the
- 13:10Speaker 2: entire time he comes off that way.
- 13:12Speaker 7: He comes across as too femmy to me and I
- 13:16Speaker 7: don't like that.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Again, I guess if you want to be a nerd,
- 13:19Speaker 2: you have to compare him to Nimoy. Nimoy just played
- 13:22Speaker 2: him so straight the rest of the time. He had
- 13:23Speaker 2: his moments where he would think something was funny or
- 13:26Speaker 2: he would, you know, he would be able to kind
- 13:28Speaker 2: of cross a line here or there. But he played
- 13:30Speaker 2: it so straight and kept the, you know, really knew
- 13:33Speaker 2: how to work that unemotional level. And it's like this
- 13:36Speaker 2: guy just doesn't really, it's like he doesn't get that
- 13:39Speaker 2: on some level. I don't know.
- 13:41Speaker 7: And I don't like his nose.
- 13:42Speaker 3: He seemed like he was just being snide most of
- 13:44Speaker 3: the time.
- 13:45Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 13:45Speaker 5: Yeah, I just want to press on it.
- 13:47Speaker 2: His nose?
- 13:49Speaker 5: Zachary Pintos, yes.
- 13:50Speaker 7: I hate his nose. He has a stupid nose. Uh-oh,
- 13:53Speaker 7: better watch out. I'm going to get nose activists coming
- 13:55Speaker 7: after me now.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yes, you will.
- 13:58Speaker 7: My nose is racist.
- 14:01Speaker 2: You got in trouble for something that someone was not
- 14:04Speaker 2: beyond their control.
- 14:05Speaker 7: They can dye that shit.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Their nose?
- 14:07Speaker 13: Yes.
- 14:09Speaker 5: That shit fixed.
- 14:10Speaker 7: That's what I was talking about the redhead. I was
- 14:12Speaker 7: making fun of the redheads, but.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Oh, jeez.
- 14:16Speaker 7: God, people are going to.
- 14:16Speaker 2: Hate me, whatever. So, that and I just, I really
- 14:20Speaker 2: kind of paid attention to Zoe Saldana this time.
- 14:23Speaker 7: She's... Hot? Yeah.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Well, aside from hot, she's like, they bothered to make
- 14:28Speaker 2: her a really, like, intelligent, feminine character, which is unusual
- 14:32Speaker 2: in movies, especially in a big, goofy action movie like this. So,
- 14:35Speaker 2: I was, I'm kind of impressed watching it again that she,
- 14:37Speaker 2: I mean, she really is, like, the smartest one. She's
- 14:40Speaker 2: the one they go to in every situation. She helps
- 14:42Speaker 2: them get out of all these different situations, and yeah,
- 14:45Speaker 2: aside from the fact that, you know, Kirk's hitting on
- 14:47Speaker 2: her all the time, in true Kirk form.
- 14:49Speaker 7: Because he's awesome.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Other than that, they actually treat her pretty smart, and yeah,
- 14:54Speaker 2: so if J.J. likes his smart, feminine characters, that's cool.
- 14:56Speaker 7: And Carl Urban's still awesome.
- 14:57Speaker 2: He is awesome. Oh, man, he's so good at being Bones,
- 15:01Speaker 2: and I just.
- 15:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Yeah, it's one of those.
- 15:04Speaker 3: Carl Urban's awesome anyways, but as Bones, he's just like perfect.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Yeah, if ever there was somebody who found a way
- 15:09Speaker 2: to sort of really tie it to the original and
- 15:13Speaker 2: yet bring something of himself to it. He, you know,
- 15:15Speaker 2: it's like, cause the Chris Pine is just sort of
- 15:17Speaker 2: his own thing. He just does his own version. It's
- 15:20Speaker 2: not really playing so much on the Kirk, you know,
- 15:22Speaker 2: talk without comments. Yeah. That too. So, I mean, he
- 15:25Speaker 2: doesn't overplay that, but if ever somebody found a good medium,
- 15:28Speaker 2: it's yeah, it's Carl Urban. He's, he's awesome. That was
- 15:32Speaker 2: pretty much mine. Moving on.
- 15:35Speaker 3: Um, Well, we had access to TV for most of
- 15:38Speaker 3: the week, so... So, yeah.
- 15:40Speaker 2: Crap.
- 15:40Speaker 3: Well, and that's the thing, is you say that, it's
- 15:44Speaker 3: not so much crap, it's the commercial deluge. It's the commercials.
- 15:48Speaker 9: I'm going to blow up every goddamn building that commercials
- 15:52Speaker 9: are made in.
- 15:53Speaker 5: I don't care if there's other studios there. You're all
- 15:57Speaker 5: going down.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Because it's like you're watching a show, and you're flipping
- 16:01Speaker 3: back and forth between one or two shows, or three
- 16:03Speaker 3: or four, depending on, you know.
- 16:05Speaker 2: You're a surfer.
- 16:06Speaker 3: And the best thing is when one goes to a commercial,
- 16:09Speaker 3: they all go to commercials, unbeknownst to you.
- 16:11Speaker 2: So you're flipping back.
- 16:13Speaker 12: And forth between all these channels trying to watch just
- 16:15Speaker 12: something of substance. And all you're getting is like.
- 16:17Speaker 3: You're just landing on.
- 16:18Speaker 9: E and just paying attention to whatever the fuck is
- 16:20Speaker 9: flashing by for a few minutes.
- 16:22Speaker 3: Which is always fun. E always works. But you're always
- 16:25Speaker 3: like being sold something or something, some sort of new
- 16:28Speaker 3: medication or some shit or hamburgers that you don't want
- 16:31Speaker 3: or hamburgers that you do want. And it just sucks.
- 16:34Speaker 3: It just really sucks. You're just like wanting to get
- 16:36Speaker 3: back to the show. And one of the shows that
- 16:39Speaker 3: we were watching was.
- 16:41Speaker 3: Supernatural Marathon.
- 16:42Speaker 9: Yeah, we did Supernatural Marathon at TNT Thursday night, which
- 16:46Speaker 9: was great because the new season started Friday and I
- 16:48Speaker 9: still haven't seen it.
- 16:49Speaker 3: We missed it.
- 16:50Speaker 5: But I kind of know what happened because my little
- 16:52Speaker 5: brother told me.
- 16:54Speaker 3: Your little brother needs to tell me.
- 16:55Speaker 7: That's what the internet's for.
- 17:00Speaker 12: Other than that, I mean, really, TV was kind of
- 17:03Speaker 12: like the only thing we had.
- 17:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I watched Airplane and Airplane 2 the other day.
- 17:08Speaker 2: I saw those last week.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Those are awesome.
- 17:10Speaker 2: I was kind of not watching them, but they were
- 17:12Speaker 2: on in the background.
- 17:13Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 2: I was like, man, I forgot how much I love these.
- 17:15Speaker 9: I was actually reading the third book from the Golden
- 17:18Speaker 9: Compass series, the Amber Spyglass, and it was.
- 17:21Speaker 5: On in the background.
- 17:22Speaker 7: I was just like, whatever.
- 17:25Speaker 5: What else did we watch? I got into Avatar, that
- 17:28Speaker 5: last airbender.
- 17:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 17:30Speaker 2: The movie or the show?
- 17:32Speaker 3: The show.
- 17:32Speaker 2: Okay. Then you're okay. Yeah. The show's fine.
- 17:35Speaker 5: I watched a lot of Nicktoons.
- 17:37Speaker 12: Which one of my friends has the whole series, so
- 17:39Speaker 12: we've got to borrow it from him and just marathon
- 17:41Speaker 12: the hell out of that because it's really good.
- 17:43Speaker 2: Great stuff on the show.
- 17:44Speaker 3: It's really, really.
- 17:46Speaker 5: Good. I beat Zelda, finally, on the DS.
- 17:51Speaker 3: Phantom Hourglass, pretty good.
- 17:52Speaker 5: I've been playing it for like three weeks.
- 17:54Speaker 2: Straight.
- 17:55Speaker 9: Mainly because I got halfway through it and it... lost
- 17:59Speaker 9: all of its memory so i had.
- 18:01Speaker 3: To go back and get off i think market at
- 18:04Speaker 3: work actually did that i mean i think he erased
- 18:07Speaker 3: it on purpose what a jerk yeah.
- 18:09Speaker 9: Yeah he took it away from me while i was
- 18:11Speaker 9: at work and said i can have it back when
- 18:12Speaker 9: my grades got better i don't know what that.
- 18:15Speaker 3: Means you can pick it up at the end just
- 18:17Speaker 3: tell them that they are here i'll make up a
- 18:18Speaker 3: worksheet just put.
- 18:19Speaker 12: A best worker ever and i'll put my stamp approval
- 18:24Speaker 12: on it which is spit.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Did he slide it in a drawer that was filled
- 18:29Speaker 2: with like chattering teeth and groucho glasses?
- 18:32Speaker 3: Whoopie cushion.
- 18:33Speaker 2: You damn kids.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Popping stamps.
- 18:35Speaker 9: Handguns.
- 18:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 18:37Speaker 12: Spiked and done in chunks.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Now the real world comes in.
- 18:42Speaker 3: It's no fun.
- 18:43Speaker 2: What else did we watch?
- 18:46Speaker 5: I tried to get you into Buffy.
- 18:47Speaker 3: You didn't like it. I can't do it. I cannot
- 18:51Speaker 3: freaking do it. That show sucks.
- 18:54Speaker 7: I love Buffy.
- 18:55Speaker 2: How can you not get into it?
- 18:56Speaker 3: It's fucking stupid as hell. It is so dumb.
- 18:58Speaker 7: The second season is the best season.
- 19:00Speaker 2: It is awesome.
- 19:01Speaker 5: This was the Riley.
- 19:02Speaker 4: I hated Riley.
- 19:03Speaker 7: That was season four.
- 19:05Speaker 3: The ogre with the hammer? Like, what with the... You
- 19:08Speaker 3: look ridiculous.
- 19:08Speaker 5: Xander didn't mean to summon him, okay?
- 19:11Speaker 3: God, I should have not meant to make that show.
- 19:14Speaker 7: That show kicked ass, dude. I'm going to fight over
- 19:17Speaker 7: that show.
- 19:17Speaker 12: I mean, I know I'm fighting against the masses because, like,
- 19:19Speaker 12: a trillion people love this show.
- 19:21Speaker 3: And I'm like, you know, you can have it. I
- 19:23Speaker 3: do not want it.
- 19:25Speaker 9: I tried.
- 19:26Speaker 3: It did good, though, baby. I was almost going to
- 19:28Speaker 3: get into it, and then the show stopped me. So
- 19:31Speaker 3: it's not your fault. I don't know.
- 19:35Speaker 12: I think random shows basically just kind of skipping back
- 19:38Speaker 12: and forth.
- 19:39Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 19:40Speaker 3: A lot of Housemates.
- 19:41Speaker 5: A lot of World War II shit.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Some Attack of the Show.
- 19:44Speaker 7: I miss Attack of the Show.
- 19:46Speaker 13: G4.
- 19:46Speaker 7: I miss Olivia.
- 19:48Speaker 12: That has basically been condensed down. to Attack of the
- 19:50Speaker 12: Show and X-Play. And then the rest is bullshit.
- 19:53Speaker 3: It's like, really?
- 19:54Speaker 12: I mean, Unbeatable Banzuki is okay sometimes. Ninja Warrior, if
- 19:59Speaker 12: you've seen one episode, you've seen every single episode.
- 20:02Speaker 2: Pretty much, yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 3: And then there's Cheaters.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Yeah, but the faces are so much better.
- 20:05Speaker 2: Every time.
- 20:06Speaker 3: I had a crush on one.
- 20:08Speaker 7: Of the guys from Ninja Warrior.
- 20:09Speaker 3: Cheaters makes me sad. Cheaters just makes me sad.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I'm just like, ah, I already hate people. Don't make
- 20:15Speaker 2: it worse.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Yeah, watching the downfall of people's relationships.
- 20:18Speaker 2: It's just not enjoyable.
- 20:20Speaker 7: I like this guy on Ninja Warrior because he had
- 20:23Speaker 7: Spock eyebrows. His name was Daisuke Nakata. He had these
- 20:27Speaker 7: eyebrows that kind of pointed up. He was hot.
- 20:30Speaker 3: How about that?
- 20:35Speaker 2: This comment brought to you by Wheat Thins. So, should
- 20:39Speaker 2: we move into Jay's Geek Week?
- 20:40Speaker 7: I guess we'll go ahead and do our Geek Week.
- 20:42Speaker 7: We'll go ahead and do Jay's because I don't want
- 20:45Speaker 7: to infringe on his ranting.
- 20:46Speaker 3: What is this? What is going on?
- 20:48Speaker 7: Jay called and left his Geek Week.
- 20:51Speaker 2: Jay's phoning in his performance this week. Where is he?
- 20:54Speaker 3: Is he in another dimension?
- 20:57Speaker 2: So yes, he's in another dimension. All right, so here
- 21:01Speaker 2: is Jay's Geek Week.
- 21:02Speaker 13: Oh, no.
- 21:03Speaker 7: I'm afraid.
- 21:04Speaker 2: You should be.
- 21:04Speaker 4: I already read about it on Facebook.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, this is a full version. That was abridged.
- 21:09Speaker 5: That was abridged.
- 21:11Speaker 1: Hey, guys, it's Jay. Hey, sorry I couldn't be there
- 21:14Speaker 1: this weekend for Shark the Puss, but Misty and I
- 21:18Speaker 1: watched it together last... Well, whatever. We watched it, and,
- 21:24Speaker 1: you know, I'll give you my review on it later, but...
- 21:27Speaker 1: you know, once again, things come up, so I'm stuck
- 21:29Speaker 1: here at home. Uh, I thought I'd, uh, throw in
- 21:33Speaker 1: my geek week real quick. Uh, if you've got time,
- 21:36Speaker 1: if not, then don't worry about it. But, um, yesterday,
- 21:40Speaker 1: I took, uh, Misty and Izzy to go see, uh,
- 21:44Speaker 1: the Guardians of, uh, the Who, uh, the Owl movie,
- 21:48Speaker 1: as most of you know it. Um, excellent movie. The
- 21:52Speaker 1: 3D was awesome. Loved the movie. Um, not really, uh,
- 21:58Speaker 1: what I would picture as a kid's movie, uh, you know,
- 22:02Speaker 1: a little violent in some parts, uh, but all in all,
- 22:05Speaker 1: really good, uh, good storyline, uh, it helped going into
- 22:10Speaker 1: it not knowing anything about the story or what the
- 22:14Speaker 1: hell was going on, I just knew it had owls
- 22:16Speaker 1: in it, and, uh, Mickey likes owls, and Izzy likes owls, so, hey,
- 22:20Speaker 1: you know, we'll go watch a movie and have a
- 22:22Speaker 1: good time, but, you know, uh, story was awesome, uh,
- 22:26Speaker 1: I know a lot of people have been kind of
- 22:28Speaker 1: comparing it to Harry Potter just because it's got owls
- 22:30Speaker 1: in it, which doesn't really make any sense because there's
- 22:33Speaker 1: nothing really Harry Potter-esque about this movie. If anything, I
- 22:37Speaker 1: would kind of give it a cross between Lord of
- 22:38Speaker 1: the Rings and 300. It's kind of got a quest-y
- 22:44Speaker 1: feel to it where they've got to go quest for the...
- 22:48Speaker 1: The Guardians, and they've got to go, you know, far away,
- 22:50Speaker 1: and then there's this big epic battle, and, you know,
- 22:54Speaker 1: it's pretty crazy. It's pretty cool. But I thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 22:57Speaker 1: I thought it was an awesome movie. It wasn't stupid
- 23:00Speaker 1: at all. It didn't play down to kids. You know,
- 23:04Speaker 1: it wasn't dumbing down at all. It was very, you know, thought-provoking,
- 23:07Speaker 1: you know. Izzy said she liked it. She said it
- 23:11Speaker 1: didn't seem at all like a kiddie movie, so... And
- 23:15Speaker 1: Misty had kind of said that it reminded her of
- 23:17Speaker 1: movies that we had watched when we were kids that
- 23:20Speaker 1: really didn't hold a lot of things back. It just
- 23:22Speaker 1: kind of let it go. And as a kid, there
- 23:26Speaker 1: were some movies that you watched that kind of scarred
- 23:28Speaker 1: you that were kid movies. So we watched that. And
- 23:33Speaker 1: then last night, Misty and I sat down and watched
- 23:36Speaker 1: Clash of the Titans. Huge fan of the original. I
- 23:40Speaker 1: hadn't heard anything about the old one, so I figured,
- 23:42Speaker 1: you know, I mean, the new one, the remake. So
- 23:44Speaker 1: I figured, you know, we'll give it a shot. We'll
- 23:46Speaker 1: watch it. Watched it. Piece of trash. They should have
- 23:49Speaker 1: called it Trash of the Titans. It was so horrible.
- 23:51Speaker 1: I hated it. I want to punch the fucking writers
- 23:55Speaker 1: in the throat for making this movie. This movie pissed
- 23:58Speaker 1: me off so much. They strayed so far from the story.
- 24:01Speaker 1: They threw so many things in that weren't even in
- 24:04Speaker 1: the original book. They changed around the mythology on it.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Of course, the first one changed it around a little bit.
- 24:10Speaker 1: But it was fairly close to the mythology. Well, this
- 24:12Speaker 1: one just fucking goes way out in the left field,
- 24:15Speaker 1: brings in stuff and elements from stories that don't even
- 24:19Speaker 1: have anything to do with it. And I'm just like,
- 24:20Speaker 1: what the hell, you know? I was angry at the
- 24:24Speaker 1: whole movie. Pretty much all the way through. We sat
- 24:27Speaker 1: through it. I wasn't going to turn it off because
- 24:29Speaker 1: I was going to sit through it, you know. We
- 24:31Speaker 1: sat through it and watched the movie.
- 24:33Speaker 14: Horrible.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Perseus, whiny-ass emo bitch. All he did was cry throughout
- 24:38Speaker 1: the whole movie.
- 24:39Speaker 10: I don't want to be a god.
- 24:41Speaker 1: I want to do it as a man, you know.
- 24:44Speaker 1: You idiot. The gods gave you weapons, you know. You've
- 24:47Speaker 1: got powers of a god, but you're going to be
- 24:48Speaker 1: a pissy little bitch. And, you know, be like, I
- 24:51Speaker 1: want to be a human. You know, and then all
- 24:54Speaker 1: these people died.
- 24:55Speaker 2: You know?
- 24:56Speaker 1: All this crap could have been averted if you just
- 24:59Speaker 1: manned the fuck up and been a demigod and went
- 25:04Speaker 1: on your quest. But instead, you're going to be a
- 25:06Speaker 1: pissy little bitch. And then you run off with some other....
- 25:12Speaker 2: As if that didn't piss him off enough.
- 25:13Speaker 3: That was awesome.
- 25:16Speaker 1: Fucking answering machine. You know, we're in the digital age.
- 25:19Speaker 1: You think they could come up with an answering machine
- 25:21Speaker 1: that would record your entire message until you're fucking hung up.
- 25:24Speaker 1: But no, it's got to be a pre-allotted amount of time,
- 25:27Speaker 1: so whatever. Anyways, I lost my train of thought on
- 25:32Speaker 1: Pertusius other than he was a complete emo bitch and
- 25:34Speaker 1: ran off with the long girl. You know, so anyways,
- 25:38Speaker 1: Clash of the Titans, as soon as we got finished
- 25:41Speaker 1: watching it, I wanted to crush the DVD and you know,
- 25:46Speaker 1: try to save anybody else from having to watch this
- 25:48Speaker 1: piece of garbage. Uh, got horrible reviews on Netflix as
- 25:51Speaker 1: we went back to see. And, uh, I got halfway
- 25:55Speaker 1: through writing, uh, this just massive, angry feedback on this
- 26:00Speaker 1: movie on Netflix. And then it got erased because my
- 26:03Speaker 1: computer is stupid, whatever. Um, so anyways, I think that
- 26:08Speaker 1: was the extent of our geek week. So I'll call
- 26:13Speaker 1: back in with my, uh, review on Shostakos if I
- 26:16Speaker 1: don't get cut off again by the internet. Alright, so
- 26:20Speaker 1: I hope you all enjoy the rest of the podcast
- 26:25Speaker 1: and hopefully I'll be there maybe next week. Depends on
- 26:29Speaker 1: whether or not I get another day off.
- 26:30Speaker 14: So, alright.
- 26:32Speaker 1: Talk to you guys later. Bye.
- 26:33Speaker 7: Yeah, he was not pleased at all during Clash of
- 26:38Speaker 7: the Titans. It was the entire movie, a rant upon
- 26:41Speaker 7: rant while we were watching the movie. He tried to
- 26:44Speaker 7: fall asleep a couple of times. I'm like, no, if
- 26:46Speaker 7: I got to watch this piece of shit, you do too.
- 26:47Speaker 7: It was your idea to watch this. So we watched
- 26:50Speaker 7: it after.
- 26:50Speaker 5: That's disappointing. I've heard that from so many people, but
- 26:53Speaker 5: I still want to watch it.
- 26:54Speaker 3: I'm still going to see it, but I pretty much
- 26:57Speaker 3: know it looks like crap.
- 26:58Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of.
- 27:00Speaker 7: We didn't even watch the 3D version. We watched the
- 27:01Speaker 7: plain old regular 2D because I heard the 3D was
- 27:03Speaker 7: just so shitty.
- 27:05Speaker 2: It was terrible from what I heard. I steered clear
- 27:07Speaker 2: of it, too.
- 27:08Speaker 7: Yeah, it was horrible. Yeah, the Sam Worthington guy just
- 27:11Speaker 7: seemed like a fucking, I want to be a man.
- 27:15Speaker 3: I want to be a man.
- 27:17Speaker 7: I want to do it like a man. Like, dude,
- 27:19Speaker 7: fuck you. You could have saved all these people if
- 27:20Speaker 7: you'd man the fuck up and use your sword like
- 27:22Speaker 7: a real boy, but no.
- 27:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 27:24Speaker 7: Dude, seriously, I hated him. The chick was kind of hot.
- 27:27Speaker 7: I don't remember her name.
- 27:27Speaker 2: That's Gemma.
- 27:28Speaker 3: What's a crackin' hot?
- 27:29Speaker 7: Your six-finger girl.
- 27:30Speaker 2: That's my favorite six-finger girl.
- 27:32Speaker 9: Who?
- 27:33Speaker 7: Gemma. Arderton or whatever.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Does she have six fingers for real? Didn't we... We've
- 27:38Speaker 2: discussed this several times.
- 27:40Speaker 5: I have missed out.
- 27:41Speaker 2: On this because I don't remember. Your memory is going
- 27:44Speaker 2: to where Jay's lives.
- 27:45Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 27:47Speaker 13: Yes.
- 27:47Speaker 3: I've got to look it up then.
- 27:48Speaker 2: She was born with six fingers on each hand.
- 27:50Speaker 7: But they've been removed since then.
- 27:51Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 27:52Speaker 2: Unfortunately.
- 27:52Speaker 3: Does she keep them in a jar on her mantle?
- 27:54Speaker 2: I hope so. I think so.
- 27:55Speaker 7: I had that one chick from Angel. I was pretty
- 27:57Speaker 7: impressed with her for actually getting more roles. So yay
- 28:00Speaker 7: for her. She's Gwen on Angel. The girl who could
- 28:02Speaker 7: like shock people. She shocked him. She was a thief.
- 28:06Speaker 2: I'm sure if I see her, I will.
- 28:08Speaker 7: But yeah, the movie sucked ass. The fucking Rancor, Kraken,
- 28:12Speaker 7: didn't like him either. What the fuck was up with
- 28:17Speaker 7: snubbing Bubo like that? It's like they saw him for
- 28:19Speaker 7: like a second and they're like, oh, that's just garbage.
- 28:21Speaker 7: Throw that away. I'm like, fuck you. Bubo was the
- 28:23Speaker 7: coolest part of the fucking movie. I love Bubo.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Bubo is awesome. Bubo is fucking awesome.
- 28:27Speaker 7: But yeah, the.
- 28:29Speaker 7: The other movie, the Guardians movie. I fucking love that movie.
- 28:31Speaker 7: I don't care. But they've got owls and it's in
- 28:33Speaker 7: 3D and they're all so cute. It's got this little.
- 28:35Speaker 3: So do they fight? Do they have armor?
- 28:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:37Speaker 11: Is there blood?
- 28:37Speaker 7: Like... I don't... There was fighting. There was definitely fighting.
- 28:40Speaker 7: There was definitely violence with the owls.
- 28:42Speaker 3: So it's like aerial fighting?
- 28:43Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 28:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:45Speaker 7: A lot of them have like these talon armor with
- 28:48Speaker 7: like little claws. They're like metal claws.
- 28:51Speaker 4: So were there people in the movie or just owls?
- 28:52Speaker 7: Just owls.
- 28:54Speaker 3: All owls.
- 28:55Speaker 4: They can talk, yes.
- 28:58Speaker 9: Is Morgan Freeman's voice in the movie?
- 29:01Speaker 4: I do not think so.
- 29:02Speaker 7: Jeffrey Rush's voice is in there.
- 29:03Speaker 3: His voice does not make that appearance.
- 29:06Speaker 11: I'm just saying, because I would really like a Morgan Freeman.
- 29:11Speaker 3: He'd be like the old weathered crow or something. Everybody
- 29:16Speaker 3: had to do it.
- 29:19Speaker 8: I'm still scarred from seeing Jeffrey Rush's naked butt and quills.
- 29:25Speaker 7: That's why I never want to see that movie.
- 29:26Speaker 4: Thanks.
- 29:27Speaker 12: You should watch The Bad Lieutenant for a full frontal
- 29:29Speaker 12: of Harvey Keitel.
- 29:32Speaker 4: Harvey Keitel was kind of hot in his day.
- 29:35Speaker 8: No.
- 29:36Speaker 2: But he doesn't mind showing his junk.
- 29:38Speaker 7: But yeah, I love the Owl movie. Like I said,
- 29:40Speaker 7: it did remind me of movies we watched when we
- 29:42Speaker 7: were kids because it wasn't dumbed down to kids today.
- 29:44Speaker 7: It wasn't like... You know, just all.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Dora didn't make an appearance.
- 29:48Speaker 7: Yeah, it was just retarded.
- 29:49Speaker 3: It wasn't about friendship.
- 29:51Speaker 1: I know.
- 29:51Speaker 3: It was about killing shit.
- 29:53Speaker 7: It was about an owl kicking something out of its ass.
- 29:55Speaker 7: And they were flying around kicking it.
- 29:56Speaker 3: That's our habitat.
- 29:59Speaker 7: But yeah, there was parts where it was cute. They
- 30:01Speaker 7: had little cute owls. They had little digger owls. He
- 30:03Speaker 7: was a little burrow owl. He was a little burrow owl.
- 30:04Speaker 5: He was digging.
- 30:05Speaker 2: It's a burrow owl.
- 30:06Speaker 7: There's a hole in the ground.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Why the hell do you call it a burrow owl anyway?
- 30:11Speaker 3: So the owls live in the ground of the floating places?
- 30:14Speaker 7: Just the burrow owl. All the rest of them lived
- 30:17Speaker 7: in trees.
- 30:17Speaker 13: God.
- 30:18Speaker 3: I don't think this movie's real.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 30:21Speaker 3: It's not based in reality.
- 30:23Speaker 7: It's a movie about talking owls.
- 30:25Speaker 3: Talent armor.
- 30:27Speaker 4: It's awesome, dude.
- 30:29Speaker 3: Digging talent armor. Talent armor?
- 30:32Speaker 5: Yes, speaking of talent armor. Our new intern at work,
- 30:34Speaker 5: his name is Talon. His name is Talon.
- 30:37Speaker 3: God given. God has to be.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Set him among us.
- 30:43Speaker 3: Talon go amongst the men.
- 30:46Speaker 8: Didn't you have a friend who had a kid named
- 30:50Speaker 8: it Gentle Dragon or something?
- 30:52Speaker 7: That was my aunt. She named her, or my aunt
- 30:55Speaker 7: or my cousin, her name was Torrin Drake, which translates
- 30:58Speaker 7: into Tender Dragon.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Which translates into beat the hell up at school.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Yeah, queer muffin.
- 31:03Speaker 2: Which translates into getting pounded in the parking lot.
- 31:07Speaker 3: What's your name mean?
- 31:09Speaker 2: Tender Owl Dragon Owl.
- 31:11Speaker 3: Stop hitting me.
- 31:14Speaker 2: That poor kid never had lunch money.
- 31:17Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 31:18Speaker 7: He's from the retarded side of the family. We don't
- 31:20Speaker 7: like him.
- 31:20Speaker 2: That's right.
- 31:21Speaker 9: Probably carrying a gun is probably not good for anything.
- 31:26Speaker 7: I love the owl movie. It's fucking awesome. The owls
- 31:29Speaker 7: are cute. I loved it. I fucking love that movie.
- 31:31Speaker 2: I just didn't have any idea he was directing that.
- 31:34Speaker 13: I know.
- 31:34Speaker 2: It's awesome. That's such a weird direction for him.
- 31:36Speaker 7: Zack Schneider did that. The same guy who did Watchmen
- 31:39Speaker 7: and 300 and the soon-to-be-awesome Sucker Punch, which I'm.
- 31:43Speaker 2: So excited about watching next year. It does look awesome.
- 31:46Speaker 7: He's friggin' rowdy, but yeah, it's going to be... I
- 31:48Speaker 7: just stole Roger's word right there, rowdy. Rowdy! But it
- 31:50Speaker 7: does look pretty fucking awesome. But yeah, that's why I
- 31:56Speaker 7: think he did good with it, because he's not a
- 31:58Speaker 7: kids' movie director. He's not normally doing it, so that's
- 32:01Speaker 7: why it has more than.
- 32:02Speaker 3: He's not trying to sell owl-stuffed animals, probably.
- 32:05Speaker 2: But they will. Oh, yeah.
- 32:06Speaker 7: I would totally buy them, too. But it's the battle scene.
- 32:09Speaker 7: You can see, yeah, the guy kicks ass. He's not
- 32:13Speaker 7: some kid director. He's done fucking 300, so he can
- 32:16Speaker 7: do a battle with owls. I liked it, so shut
- 32:18Speaker 7: the fuck up.
- 32:19Speaker 3: Do you have owl titties in this?
- 32:21Speaker 7: No. It's still a kid's movie. They did say hell
- 32:25Speaker 7: in there.
- 32:25Speaker 5: There's owl titties in 300, really?
- 32:28Speaker 13: Sorry.
- 32:30Speaker 7: But other than that, I watched a movie by myself.
- 32:32Speaker 7: I watched The Morgue, and it sucked ass.
- 32:34Speaker 15: The Morgue.
- 32:35Speaker 7: The Morgue. The Morgue. It was stupid. The only reason
- 32:37Speaker 7: I watched it was because it had Brandon Quinn, who
- 32:39Speaker 7: I love, because he was Tommy Dawkins, and he was
- 32:40Speaker 7: awesome and gorgeous. And their big name star in the
- 32:43Speaker 7: movie was Heather Donahue. And that's sad, and that's the
- 32:46Speaker 7: only name you have in your movie that anybody would recognize.
- 32:48Speaker 2: Was she wearing a paper hat?
- 32:50Speaker 7: She was not in her Steak and Shake outfit at
- 32:52Speaker 7: the time.
- 32:52Speaker 2: Steak and Shake outfit.
- 32:55Speaker 4: I didn't know who that was at first.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I had to stop and think about it when she
- 32:59Speaker 2: told me yesterday. I was like, wait, I know the name.
- 33:01Speaker 2: Why do I know the name?
- 33:03Speaker 4: Isn't she supposed to be dead?
- 33:06Speaker 7: She died in the movie. She was the first one
- 33:07Speaker 7: to die.
- 33:07Speaker 2: It's real, you know. I know. We're a little behind.
- 33:10Speaker 2: I don't know if we can still break that story.
- 33:13Speaker 7: It's real. The morgue, it sucked because I wasn't really
- 33:15Speaker 7: in a morgue. They were in like a big mausoleum
- 33:17Speaker 7: type area.
- 33:19Speaker 2: Yeah, that's wrong.
- 33:21Speaker 7: Because the morgue is just where they do the dead
- 33:24Speaker 7: people stuff where they have the autopsies. They were probably
- 33:26Speaker 7: even in that room. They were all running around the
- 33:28Speaker 7: dead people condo area.
- 33:30Speaker 2: The dead people condo area. I mean, to me, the
- 33:33Speaker 2: morgue is in a hospital or a building of some sort.
- 33:37Speaker 7: It was already taken, probably.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I'm sure that's already taken.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Yeah, that's where the morgue actually goes on.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Yeah. the pinata board pinata board whack it with.
- 33:53Speaker 8: A stick and then it comes back.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Now that would really that would brighten up a funeral
- 34:00Speaker 2: maybe that's what we're missing.
- 34:03Speaker 8: Well you say that but I know someone who has
- 34:05Speaker 8: a candy dish filled with human teeth.
- 34:08Speaker 2: But I'm thinking, you know.
- 34:09Speaker 5: You really do?
- 34:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I know this guy. It doesn't surprise me.
- 34:13Speaker 3: They trick people, like, when they come in, have some candy.
- 34:17Speaker 3: As you go for a handful, I'm like, God, this
- 34:19Speaker 3: tastes like teeth. It's not candy.
- 34:22Speaker 2: It's his teeth.
- 34:23Speaker 10: Just one of those people that takes themselves a little
- 34:25Speaker 10: too seriously.
- 34:27Speaker 2: But, um, no, I just, well, I was thinking, you know,
- 34:30Speaker 2: we have such downer funerals in this country. Maybe what
- 34:32Speaker 2: we're missing is more of the, you know, festive piñata action.
- 34:35Speaker 4: Like a Mexico funeral.
- 34:36Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I don't even know if they do it there,
- 34:38Speaker 2: but if not, let's steal their idea. Let's, you know,
- 34:41Speaker 2: fill the body with candy and beat it with a stick.
- 34:44Speaker 13: When I die.
- 34:44Speaker 5: What song was it?
- 34:48Speaker 3: Oh, well, highway to the danger zone is what's going
- 34:51Speaker 3: to happen at my funeral. But right at the end
- 34:53Speaker 3: of the song, my coffin is going to eject me
- 34:55Speaker 3: into the rafters. And then I'm going to land back
- 34:57Speaker 3: in the coffin. The coffin's going to tump over and
- 34:59Speaker 3: set on fire.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You're going to break your neck goose-style?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:02Speaker 3: I mean, I'll be dead by then.
- 35:04Speaker 8: Yeah, I know.
- 35:04Speaker 2: But just for the sake of following through, I think
- 35:08Speaker 2: they should fly you.
- 35:09Speaker 3: That would be awesome. We'll beat you with a stick.
- 35:13Speaker 3: And everyone's like, oh no, wait, yes. Yes.
- 35:18Speaker 4: Wait, holy fuck, is that a rollover? Your parents would
- 35:23Speaker 4: be like, no, no. And then your dad would be like,
- 35:25Speaker 4: holy fuck, is that a Butterfinger?
- 35:26Speaker 7: He always was a trickster.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Is that a Werther's?
- 35:29Speaker 9: Why?
- 35:29Speaker 3: Is that a Good & Plenty? Smarties?
- 35:33Speaker 2: Wait, Smarties?
- 35:34Speaker 7: Dude, I love some Smarties.
- 35:36Speaker 3: They're just like shoving it in by the.
- 35:42Speaker 2: I'm telling you, we're on to something. We need to
- 35:44Speaker 2: get this new... We need to start a company.
- 35:47Speaker 4: We can call it Funerals.
- 35:48Speaker 14: Yeah, Funerals.
- 35:50Speaker 3: That would be awesome.
- 35:54Speaker 7: We are set for luck.
- 35:55Speaker 2: Coming soon to a town near you.
- 35:57Speaker 7: Funerals, Inc.
- 35:58Speaker 4: We're on to something.
- 36:00Speaker 7: You put it out there. We put the.
- 36:03Speaker 4: Fun in Funerals.
- 36:04Speaker 11: Come on, America.
- 36:05Speaker 5: Cheer up about that.
- 36:07Speaker 7: Cheer the fuck.
- 36:10Speaker 1: Up.
- 36:11Speaker 2: You know what helps the heartbreak of your dead father?
- 36:14Speaker 3: Candy.
- 36:15Speaker 7: And people send me hate mail.
- 36:19Speaker 2: I know. That's what I'm saying. I was like, we're
- 36:22Speaker 2: so inappropriate about everything and you picked that? We say
- 36:29Speaker 2: so many horrible things. It's so hard to pick. Oh,
- 36:35Speaker 2: my God.
- 36:36Speaker 12: I mean, I guess if you were somebody who had, like,
- 36:38Speaker 12: I don't know, staunch ideals and stuff, and you were somehow, like,
- 36:42Speaker 12: tricked into listening to the show.
- 36:44Speaker 3: Would it be like you're listening to it, like, what
- 36:46Speaker 3: are they talking about? Oh, my God. And then, like,
- 36:48Speaker 3: something we say, and you're like, no.
- 36:50Speaker 12: And they rewind it and listen to it again, and
- 36:52Speaker 12: you're like, this shall not stand.
- 36:55Speaker 2: Well, that's the thing. It's not like the rest of
- 36:56Speaker 2: the time we're, you know, we're sitting there just, like,
- 36:59Speaker 2: reading the news. All of a sudden, we bust out with,
- 37:02Speaker 2: we're dead people.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Yeah, we're dead people until candy comes out of the corner.
- 37:06Speaker 2: Fisting monkeys.
- 37:07Speaker 3: This shouldn't be a feature for anybody. Fisting monkeys.
- 37:10Speaker 2: Which we brought up before the show, unfortunately. I don't...
- 37:13Speaker 2: Joanie was doing a visual. Oh, she's imploding now.
- 37:16Speaker 3: It's good, baby.
- 37:16Speaker 9: Yes. Oh, God.
- 37:19Speaker 3: Breathe.
- 37:20Speaker 4: Breathe.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Candy.
- 37:24Speaker 2: Candy makes it okay.
- 37:25Speaker 3: Candy makes it okay.
- 37:32Speaker 2: So, yeah. Once again, we spiral off into the depths
- 37:37Speaker 2: of humanity.
- 37:39Speaker 7: Anyways, the morgue sucked.
- 37:41Speaker 2: So, as we were saying, yeah, the morgue sucked.
- 37:46Speaker 7: Brandon Quinn's still hot, but that movie sucked. brandon i'm
- 37:49Speaker 7: sorry dude.
- 37:50Speaker 2: Heather donahue is now actually working at steak and jig
- 37:52Speaker 2: more than likely probably.
- 37:58Speaker 7: Making better money because her movies suck is she.
- 38:02Speaker 2: Gonna write me an hate mail too probably please heather
- 38:04Speaker 2: donahue send us something i didn't do.
- 38:07Speaker 8: Anything else so well i don't know if i mentioned
- 38:11Speaker 8: this last week but I've been secretly DVRing all my
- 38:14Speaker 8: favorite TV shows on the TV box at work.
- 38:17Speaker 2: Nah, you were afraid he was going to find them
- 38:18Speaker 2: and erase them all.
- 38:19Speaker 4: I don't think you'd know how.
- 38:21Speaker 2: That's handy then.
- 38:22Speaker 9: I know.
- 38:23Speaker 8: But I've been watching a lot of the Nate Berkus show.
- 38:28Speaker 8: She's like a gay white Oprah. A gay white male
- 38:32Speaker 8: version of Oprah that's not so fat. But he has
- 38:35Speaker 8: the best ass ever. Like of any man on the history.
- 38:39Speaker 7: I don't know. Jay has a pretty fantastic ass.
- 38:41Speaker 4: But Nate Berkus' ass. You just have to look at it.
- 38:44Speaker 2: I think we're going to have to have an ass off.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Ass off. A pants off dance off.
- 38:51Speaker 5: Oh, I used to love that show.
- 38:53Speaker 11: I don't know why.
- 38:54Speaker 5: What?
- 38:55Speaker 3: Pants off, pants off.
- 38:56Speaker 2: I don't think anybody does.
- 38:57Speaker 5: It spawned many make-out sessions for some reason.
- 39:00Speaker 7: Brandon Quinn is a fantastic guest, too.
- 39:02Speaker 4: But Nate Berkus is ass.
- 39:04Speaker 8: The show's a lot like Oprah, but there's, like, he's, like,
- 39:07Speaker 8: a decorator, so there's, like, oh, look, I decorated this house.
- 39:11Speaker 7: Yay!
- 39:11Speaker 4: And I get really excited about it. That's what I
- 39:14Speaker 4: do at work when I should be working. But I'm like,
- 39:16Speaker 4: Nate Berkus. It's kind of sad. I know.
- 39:22Speaker 2: It is.
- 39:22Speaker 4: It's really sad.
- 39:23Speaker 8: I'm ashamed to admit my love for Nate burkus there's
- 39:25Speaker 8: not a lot of content in the show either it's
- 39:27Speaker 8: mostly commercials it's like an hour-long show and 45 minutes
- 39:31Speaker 8: of it is commercials nice but i was really pissed
- 39:34Speaker 8: because i tried to dvr it's always sunny in philadelphia
- 39:36Speaker 8: and it didn't for some reason what the fuck yeah
- 39:41Speaker 8: so i've just been watching a lot of tv i
- 39:42Speaker 8: try to watch movies at night but i just fall
- 39:45Speaker 8: asleep like i tried to watch young victoria Didn't happen.
- 39:49Speaker 4: Like, I kind of remember starting the movie, and that's
- 39:52Speaker 4: about it.
- 39:55Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 39:56Speaker 2: That's most of them. That's why I just don't start
- 39:58Speaker 2: that many throughout the week. I pick the one day
- 40:00Speaker 2: or two that I know I can actually watch it,
- 40:02Speaker 2: and that's how I made it through Star Trek again.
- 40:06Speaker 7: Speaking of TV real quick, I actually did watch the
- 40:09Speaker 7: premiere of Shit My Dad Says.
- 40:11Speaker 1: Oh, God.
- 40:12Speaker 5: How was that?
- 40:13Speaker 7: Stupid.
- 40:13Speaker 9: Really?
- 40:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 40:15Speaker 7: The lead guy who's not Shatner is just so fucking retarded.
- 40:17Speaker 7: And it's just like, dude, really? You got this guy
- 40:19Speaker 7: to be in your league with Shatner? I'm just like, dude,
- 40:20Speaker 7: this is not going to last.
- 40:22Speaker 2: It's just one of those.
- 40:23Speaker 5: Shatner was an airplane, too, by the way.
- 40:25Speaker 2: He was a really young, cute Shatner.
- 40:27Speaker 7: He was hot.
- 40:28Speaker 2: I don't know if he was really young. He was younger.
- 40:31Speaker 1: Younger.
- 40:31Speaker 4: I mean, very many is now, obviously.
- 40:35Speaker 7: All right, did you have any more? I'm sorry, I
- 40:37Speaker 7: interrupted you quickly. That's okay.
- 40:39Speaker 4: I'm trying to think. I probably did. I'll remember it, like,
- 40:41Speaker 4: in 20 minutes. I'll be like, oh, yeah. Oh, yeah,
- 40:43Speaker 4: I wanted to talk about this.
- 40:44Speaker 3: That's on you. We never have that.
- 40:48Speaker 16: I know.
- 40:49Speaker 4: I just, like.
- 40:52Speaker 4: I did a lot of dancing and a lot of
- 40:53Speaker 4: baking and a lot of cleaning.
- 40:55Speaker 2: All at the same time? Sometimes. That would be kind
- 40:57Speaker 2: of cool.
- 40:57Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
- 40:58Speaker 4: There were some times, but... Awesome.
- 41:01Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 41:02Speaker 4: So no movie-related stuff, really.
- 41:04Speaker 13: All right.
- 41:05Speaker 2: Anything else? All right. Then we will take a break
- 41:09Speaker 2: and be back with What's the Pose? Are you going
- 41:12Speaker 2: to bite your finger off?
- 41:16Speaker 3: You know that Johnny Werster kid, the kid that delivers
- 41:18Speaker 3: papers in the neighborhood?
- 41:19Speaker 9: He's a fine kid.
- 41:21Speaker 17: Southern neighbor say he smokes crack, but I don't believe it.
- 41:24Speaker 9: Anyway, for his 10th birthday, all he wanted was a
- 41:26Speaker 9: burrow house.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Kept bugging his old man.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Dad, get me a burrow house.
- 41:30Speaker 7: I'll never ask for anything else as long as I live.
- 41:32Speaker 13: So the guy breaks down.
- 41:33Speaker 5: And buys him a burrow house.
- 41:35Speaker 7: Anyway, 10.30, the other night, I go out to my yard, and.
- 41:37Speaker 5: There's a worker kid looking up the tree. I say,
- 41:39Speaker 5: what are you looking for? He says, I'm looking for
- 41:42Speaker 5: a burrow owl. I say, jump in, Jesus, on a
- 41:45Speaker 5: promo stick.
- 41:45Speaker 13: Everybody knows the burrow owl lives in a hole in
- 41:48Speaker 13: the ground.
- 41:49Speaker 10: Why the hell do you think.
- 41:51Speaker 15: They call her a burrow owl anyway?
- 41:53Speaker 3: Now, Stuart, do you think a kid like that is
- 41:55Speaker 3: going to know what the queers are doing to the soil?
- 41:58Speaker 4: I first became.
- 42:06Speaker 2: All right, are we ready for this conference now?
- 42:08Speaker 3: We have got to name the new blob picture.
- 42:10Speaker 2: Carol Lindley, Godfrey Cambridge, and Shelley Berman are in it.
- 42:14Speaker 2: Is it the same old blobby red Vaseline stuff that
- 42:17Speaker 2: eats people and spits out the clothes? Yeah, that's it.
- 42:20Speaker 3: So what do we call it?
- 42:21Speaker 4: The same old blobby red Vaseline stuff that eats people.
- 42:24Speaker 2: And spits out the clothes. How about Bless the Beast
- 42:25Speaker 2: and the Blob? I just love it. Fiddler on the Blob.
- 42:28Speaker 3: Gidget meets the Blob.
- 42:29Speaker 2: Guess the Blob's agent.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Win your life.
- 42:32Speaker 5: Blob Squad.
- 42:33Speaker 3: Oh, the Blob's a slob.
- 42:34Speaker 2: Beyond the valley of the planet of the Blob. Whatever
- 42:36Speaker 2: happens to me, the Blob eats you.
- 42:40Speaker 3: The Blob Father.
- 42:43Speaker 17: Golly gee, kids, be the first in your neighborhood to
- 42:46Speaker 17: have your own Name the Blob picture contest. Son of
- 42:49Speaker 17: Blob has already been taken. Oh, yeah, the first prize

- 44:29Speaker 3: Oh, we walk.
- 44:32Speaker 7: In our shoes.
- 44:37Speaker 5: Put the fun back in the funeral.
- 44:45Speaker 7: Days on top of days.
- 44:52Speaker 5: I hear the dirt.
- 44:53Speaker 11: Fall on the coffin roof.
- 44:59Speaker 3: I can't breathe.
- 45:03Speaker 5: I can't breathe.
- 45:05Speaker 4: In this box, I can't breathe.
- 45:16Speaker 10: Pumpkin roll.
- 45:16Speaker 14: Pumpkin pie.
- 45:17Speaker 5: I do the pumpkin pie.
- 45:20Speaker 4: Actually, I have a... You know what?
- 45:22Speaker 8: I bought these eggs at the farmer's market. They're brown eggs.
- 45:25Speaker 8: They are the best for baking hand down. Everything is
- 45:28Speaker 8: delicious that you bake.
- 45:29Speaker 2: It's amazing.
- 45:30Speaker 4: I might make another derby pie.
- 45:33Speaker 3: It has nuts in it, doesn't it?
- 45:35Speaker 2: Lots of them.
- 45:36Speaker 5: I don't like nuts.
- 45:37Speaker 8: You would have liked my banana bread because you couldn't
- 45:38Speaker 8: tell that it was made with Splenda and there are
- 45:41Speaker 8: no nuts in it.
- 45:43Speaker 7: I do like banana bread.
- 45:44Speaker 2: It's magic. Om nom nom.
- 45:46Speaker 3: He was like, wow.
- 45:48Speaker 4: I can't believe you made rotten bananas. They taste so delicious.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Those are the best ones to eat. Mostly because it
- 45:53Speaker 2: gets rid of them. I know.
- 45:56Speaker 3: Mostly because it gets rid of them.
- 45:58Speaker 5: It's recycling.
- 45:59Speaker 8: It's really hard to make banana bread with knots. like
- 46:04Speaker 8: overripe bananas because like the kind of the banana bread
- 46:07Speaker 8: i made you didn't even need a mixer you just
- 46:09Speaker 8: mash up your bananas and they get all like ooey
- 46:11Speaker 8: and gooey and you add.
- 46:12Speaker 9: Your flour and all that stuff i remember doing it
- 46:14Speaker 9: with my grandmother when i was like four she was
- 46:16Speaker 9: like bread out of her man.
- 46:19Speaker 3: That's my favorite kind of bread I wonder why.
- 46:34Speaker 5: We only did it that once.
- 46:35Speaker 3: There's one big batch.
- 46:39Speaker 4: It's really yeasty.
- 46:41Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Oh, God.
- 46:49Speaker 7: Wow. We took drugs this time, too, so we can
- 46:53Speaker 7: all play.
- 46:53Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 46:54Speaker 2: All right, we are back with What's the Buzz? Groovy. Oh.
- 47:01Speaker 5: Tell me what's happening.
- 47:02Speaker 14: What's the buzz?
- 47:15Speaker 2: So we'll kick off the buzz this week with some
- 47:18Speaker 2: deep thoughts from Keanu Reeves.
- 47:21Speaker 7: Is there such a thing?
- 47:22Speaker 2: According to this, there are.
- 47:23Speaker 5: If this is about Cowboy Bebop, I don't want to
- 47:25Speaker 5: hear it.
- 47:26Speaker 2: No, it's even more odd. We were actually just discussing
- 47:31Speaker 2: last week how they can occasionally drag out a sequel
- 47:34Speaker 2: from a movie that's ancient. Well, here we go.
- 47:37Speaker 7: Bill and Ted?
- 47:38Speaker 2: This week, got started with Keanu Reeves talking about his
- 47:40Speaker 2: interest in returning to the comedy franchise that made him
- 47:43Speaker 2: a star, the Bill and Ted movies. Yeah.
- 47:45Speaker 3: No, I'm just kidding. That other dude looks completely different, though.
- 47:48Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 47:48Speaker 7: Alex Winter?
- 47:49Speaker 13: Wow.
- 47:49Speaker 3: He's just old.
- 47:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 47:51Speaker 7: He ain't one of them Draculers after all.
- 47:53Speaker 2: No, seems to be. That's why they staked it.
- 47:56Speaker 8: I love to say Dracula-er. My friends went to see
- 48:00Speaker 8: Dracula on Friday.
- 48:01Speaker 4: And I was like, oh, they just got back from Dracula.
- 48:04Speaker 4: And I kept saying, Dracula.
- 48:05Speaker 8: Don't want none of that. No one knew what I
- 48:07Speaker 8: was talking about, and I'm just like, you people watch cartoons.
- 48:11Speaker 2: So this led to Keanu joking to the crack staff
- 48:15Speaker 2: at MTV once again. The highest level of news, much
- 48:20Speaker 2: like we are. That the third film could be filmed
- 48:23Speaker 2: in both black and white and in 3D, with several
- 48:26Speaker 2: directors including Martin Scorsese, Brian De Palma, and Keanu then
- 48:30Speaker 2: going into a awesome, I'm quoting them here, impersonation of
- 48:34Speaker 2: German director Werner Herzog. I don't think I want to
- 48:37Speaker 2: see his impersonation. Again, he seems like he thinks he's
- 48:41Speaker 2: pretty funny here.
- 48:42Speaker 4: I'd rather cut my own throat.
- 48:45Speaker 2: Well, wait, you haven't even heard his quote yet. So
- 48:48Speaker 2: he goes on to say, here's what was interpreted as
- 48:52Speaker 2: what Werner Herzog might say about directing Bill and Ted
- 48:55Speaker 2: 3 from Keanu Reeves.
- 48:57Speaker 4: I'd rather direct a German Scheisse video.
- 48:59Speaker 2: I was just pushed by the idea of this innocence
- 49:02Speaker 2: being confronted by the nihilism of the world. And I
- 49:05Speaker 2: thought of these two clowns that could push our perspective
- 49:08Speaker 2: of reality and the truth to the forefront of meaning
- 49:12Speaker 2: and knowledge. what is wrong with keanu.
- 49:14Speaker 11: Reeves wow i can't believe he talks so big he's
- 49:22Speaker 11: got like more of an intensity about it not that
- 49:24Speaker 11: he's saying crazy things he just has this really intense
- 49:27Speaker 11: like way of going about.
- 49:28Speaker 2: It and he totally buys into every crazy thing that
- 49:31Speaker 2: he's saying so yeah Oh, speaking of one of the
- 49:35Speaker 2: two of them getting old, they both are, because he
- 49:37Speaker 2: also reflected on the fact that in 2014, Bill and
- 49:40Speaker 2: Ted's Excellent Adventure will have its 25th anniversary, and he
- 49:44Speaker 2: himself will be turning 50.
- 49:46Speaker 7: Wow.
- 49:47Speaker 2: He's old.
- 49:47Speaker 3: Yeah, Reeves is almost 50.
- 49:48Speaker 2: He's almost 50. What the hell?
- 49:51Speaker 10: What?
- 49:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 49:52Speaker 3: That doesn't make sense.
- 49:53Speaker 2: Deal with that. Yeah. He's fucked up a lot of
- 49:56Speaker 2: worlds right now.
- 49:57Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 49:58Speaker 4: My mind has been blown.
- 50:00Speaker 2: He himself is not a Dracula.
- 50:01Speaker 7: What? Because one of Dracula's must best be killed.
- 50:05Speaker 2: Best be killed. That part of the story was just
- 50:08Speaker 2: them being goofy and him, you know, waxing nostalgic for
- 50:11Speaker 2: his days of when he was popular.
- 50:13Speaker 3: He's going to be 50?
- 50:16Speaker 1: 50.
- 50:16Speaker 2: But MTV, again, being the crack news staff that they were,
- 50:19Speaker 2: would not let the story rest. And they went to
- 50:23Speaker 2: track down co-star Alex Winter. And then they actually got
- 50:25Speaker 2: some real news. They said Alex Winter confirmed that screenwriters
- 50:29Speaker 2: Chris Matheson and Ed Solomon were the writing team that
- 50:32Speaker 2: brought us both Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure and Bogus Journey,
- 50:35Speaker 2: which is kind of lame.
- 50:36Speaker 5: I love that one.
- 50:37Speaker 3: It's fantastic.
- 50:38Speaker 2: Death. Death is awesome.
- 50:40Speaker 7: I love.
- 50:40Speaker 2: Death is the only reason I was sold on that one.
- 50:43Speaker 2: He is awesome. The rest of it, the crazy aliens,
- 50:47Speaker 2: I was just like, eh, really? I love the crazy aliens.
- 50:50Speaker 3: I don't know who they are.
- 50:51Speaker 7: They're so great.
- 50:52Speaker 4: They're like weird, like snot things.
- 50:55Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 50:56Speaker 3: Like amorphous blobs?
- 50:57Speaker 2: It seems really kiddifying. I mean, Bill and Ted are
- 51:00Speaker 2: already like retarded and juvenile. And how they were in
- 51:03Speaker 2: heaven and like what?
- 51:05Speaker 5: But I still love it. I love the adventure. I
- 51:07Speaker 5: love them. I love that they found the princesses again.
- 51:10Speaker 2: I love it. I'm totally sold on the first. The
- 51:14Speaker 2: first one is just a fun, it is a good comedy.
- 51:18Speaker 2: It just is a good comedy. The second one is
- 51:19Speaker 2: just the sequel, and I'll watch it because it's Bill
- 51:21Speaker 2: and Ted, but.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Was the princess in another castle?
- 51:25Speaker 5: No, they were still on Earth.
- 51:26Speaker 7: Good.
- 51:27Speaker 5: But it's the same again.
- 51:27Speaker 9: It's good.
- 51:28Speaker 5: Because it's evil Bill and Ted.
- 51:30Speaker 2: So those two writers are now working on what will
- 51:33Speaker 2: be the third in the trilogy, I suppose, right? So
- 51:37Speaker 2: they said Winter spoke at great length about Bill and
- 51:40Speaker 2: Ted 3, including the decision against handing the franchise off
- 51:42Speaker 2: to their kids, which would be terrible.
- 51:44Speaker 3: It would be terrible.
- 51:45Speaker 2: Terrible. And the difficulty of dealing with the loss of
- 51:48Speaker 2: the late, great George Carlin, who, as Rufus, was kind
- 51:51Speaker 2: of important to the first two movies. So how you
- 51:53Speaker 2: can go on without Rufus, I don't know.
- 51:55Speaker 7: They're not going to recast him, so that's good.
- 51:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what it said. So I'm like, I'd prefer that.
- 51:59Speaker 2: Just make him be on vacation or something.
- 52:02Speaker 5: Say he's dead.
- 52:05Speaker 3: See Jesus.
- 52:06Speaker 9: He didn't exactly leave a promising lifestyle, now did he?
- 52:09Speaker 2: He hung in there a long time. No, no, no.
- 52:12Speaker 9: I mean, you know, Rufus himself, not George Carlin, even
- 52:15Speaker 9: though Carlin himself.
- 52:16Speaker 2: But the world was perfect, thanks to Wilde's dying.
- 52:20Speaker 4: They really should remake Mac and Me. Love that fucking movie.
- 52:23Speaker 3: See, I'm not the only one.
- 52:26Speaker 5: It frightened me.
- 52:27Speaker 4: It frightened the hell out of me. They look like
- 52:28Speaker 4: sea monkeys, but it's awesome.
- 52:31Speaker 7: If you ever actually had sea monkeys, they never looked
- 52:33Speaker 7: like them.
- 52:33Speaker 14: I know.
- 52:33Speaker 3: They're just little brown shrimp. Yeah, my dad told me
- 52:36Speaker 3: they were brown shrimp. I was like, you mean sea
- 52:38Speaker 3: monkeys aren't really?
- 52:39Speaker 5: He goes, no, they're shrimp. They're actually gross shrimp. They
- 52:41Speaker 5: eat poop.
- 52:42Speaker 7: And I was like, aw.
- 52:43Speaker 8: You know, you can go to any pet store and
- 52:45Speaker 8: get a whole big thing of sea monkeys.
- 52:47Speaker 2: There you go.
- 52:47Speaker 4: You don't have to grow them from powder.
- 52:48Speaker 6: Poop.
- 52:49Speaker 4: There you go.
- 52:51Speaker 7: My cousin killed my sea monkeys once. He knocked them over.
- 52:54Speaker 7: Then Reese killed them once because she knocked them over.
- 52:56Speaker 7: I have not had good luck with sea monkeys.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Sea monkeys don't have a chance really.
- 53:00Speaker 3: I'm surprised Devo hasn't been like dared to like drink
- 53:03Speaker 3: like a whole fish.
- 53:03Speaker 2: He probably does on like a regular day. That's like
- 53:06Speaker 2: in his refrigerator every day.
- 53:09Speaker 5: He wakes up in the morning and gets OJ and
- 53:10Speaker 5: sea monkeys.
- 53:11Speaker 2: OJ and sea monkeys.
- 53:14Speaker 5: Vitamin C helps them grow big and strong.
- 53:16Speaker 4: What fucking genius thought of that?
- 53:18Speaker 8: Like, let's dehydrate these brine shrimp eggs and sell them
- 53:21Speaker 8: to children.
- 53:22Speaker 4: And make a bajillion dollars.
- 53:25Speaker 2: It's a genius move.
- 53:27Speaker 7: I like the triops better.
- 53:28Speaker 8: I want to capture bedbugs and make a bedbug farm.
- 53:33Speaker 7: Here, kids, play with this.
- 53:34Speaker 4: It's totally cool.
- 53:36Speaker 2: Don't break it.
- 53:37Speaker 3: Here are some mites. Look who's moving in.
- 53:41Speaker 2: See, now, if you marketed that right, it would totally
- 53:44Speaker 2: take off.
- 53:44Speaker 4: It would.
- 53:45Speaker 2: As terrible as the ordeal and the epidemic is at
- 53:48Speaker 2: this point.
- 53:49Speaker 9: They all had bedbugs and not doing anything. product of
- 53:51Speaker 9: my own doing. I moved into a really shitty apartment
- 53:54Speaker 9: complex and.
- 53:56Speaker 5: My whole, you know, everything got taken. They're no fun.
- 53:59Speaker 5: They hurt.
- 54:01Speaker 2: But you know, if as terrible as they are, if
- 54:04Speaker 2: you marketed it with little cartoony versions on.
- 54:06Speaker 7: The back, it would still sell.
- 54:07Speaker 12: With little hats and like bags like over their shoulders.
- 54:11Speaker 2: We're moving in.
- 54:12Speaker 3: I'm stepping out.
- 54:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:14Speaker 7: Oh, they're so cute.
- 54:15Speaker 3: I can relate to them.
- 54:16Speaker 4: I was at the flea market yesterday.
- 54:17Speaker 5: I can relate to them.
- 54:18Speaker 8: And there was this bed for sale, and this guy
- 54:20Speaker 8: was like, look, honey, look at this mattress. She goes, ugh,
- 54:22Speaker 8: bed bugs, and just, like, ran away from it.
- 54:25Speaker 4: It was really funny.
- 54:26Speaker 2: Ran away, ran away.
- 54:28Speaker 4: You know, I mean, I love old crap, and, like,
- 54:31Speaker 4: I love to get stuff out of the garbage, and, like.
- 54:32Speaker 2: Ugh. Let me rephrase that.
- 54:35Speaker 11: You just outed yourself as a hobo at this point.
- 54:38Speaker 3: Let me rephrase that.
- 54:50Speaker 8: I like to find like cool stuff, you know, like
- 54:53Speaker 8: on the day when people sit there like old furniture
- 54:56Speaker 8: and stuff on the curb.
- 54:57Speaker 4: I love to pick them up.
- 54:59Speaker 2: Big trash day.
- 54:59Speaker 4: I'm kind of like a trash picker.
- 55:00Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. And I love to go to flea.
- 55:03Speaker 8: Markets and stuff, but I will not take anything that's
- 55:05Speaker 8: upholstered unless it's upholstered in leather.
- 55:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I've tried to steer clear of anything like that.
- 55:09Speaker 2: I see that furniture. I'm just like, uh, I don't
- 55:12Speaker 2: know what went on there.
- 55:13Speaker 3: No shag rugs. Shag throw rugs.
- 55:15Speaker 2: No.
- 55:15Speaker 3: Do not allow those or take those from garbage dumps.
- 55:18Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 55:18Speaker 2: You don't want those secondhand really.
- 55:20Speaker 6: No.
- 55:21Speaker 8: I tried to explain that to my mom because every
- 55:24Speaker 8: couple of months she finds a couch in the dumpster.
- 55:27Speaker 2: There's a reason. It's in the dumpster.
- 55:30Speaker 7: I know.
- 55:30Speaker 4: I tried to tell her that.
- 55:31Speaker 7: So how's the dolphin rogue handling it?
- 55:35Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 55:35Speaker 4: It's not really made for the porch. It's like an
- 55:38Speaker 4: indoor rug.
- 55:39Speaker 8: So it's like kind of soggy and sun bleached.
- 55:42Speaker 7: That's how dolphins live. Soggy and sun bleached.
- 55:45Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true.
- 55:47Speaker 7: He's closer to being home.
- 55:49Speaker 8: It's not as good as her dumpster carpet that she
- 55:53Speaker 8: has stapled on her inside porch.
- 55:56Speaker 4: She found it in the dumpster.
- 55:58Speaker 8: It's like this red, this shag, shaggy kind of... Well,
- 56:01Speaker 8: it's not really shaggy. It's just a really thick pile.
- 56:03Speaker 7: But, uh.
- 56:05Speaker 8: She, instead of like, you know, traditional carpet cacking down methods,
- 56:10Speaker 8: she just used a big stapler.
- 56:11Speaker 2: Isn't that what you do?
- 56:13Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 56:14Speaker 2: That's how the professionals do it.
- 56:15Speaker 3: That's how the professionals do it.
- 56:16Speaker 2: She's a classic.
- 56:16Speaker 7: I'm surprised she just didn't hold it down with bubble gum.
- 56:19Speaker 2: Yeah. She ran out of gum.
- 56:21Speaker 4: She has dentures, so she doesn't really chew gum.
- 56:24Speaker 7: I did not know this.
- 56:26Speaker 17: Mm-hmm.
- 56:26Speaker 7: Even more reason we can make fun of your mom.
- 56:28Speaker 4: Well, I mean, what? Old people don't have dentures. I
- 56:30Speaker 4: don't know. Not that she's that old. She's not even 50, but,
- 56:34Speaker 4: you know.
- 56:35Speaker 2: She's like Keanu Reeves.
- 56:36Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 56:37Speaker 4: Oh, my God. That's fucking weird.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Keanu Reeves might be your dad.
- 56:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:48Speaker 5: Keanu Reeves is older than my mom.
- 56:50Speaker 2: Think about that.
- 56:53Speaker 11: Weird.
- 56:53Speaker 4: That is weird. Okay, so.
- 56:56Speaker 2: The question is, can they bring back Bill and Ted? No,
- 57:00Speaker 2: nobody fucking cares.
- 57:01Speaker 3: Leave it on an up note.
- 57:04Speaker 12: I think the second one, from what I understand, even
- 57:07Speaker 12: though I haven't seen it, a lot of people liked it.
- 57:10Speaker 3: As far as a sequel. It's kind of an up note.
- 57:12Speaker 5: I don't count as a lot of people, honey.
- 57:14Speaker 6: No.
- 57:14Speaker 2: I want you to know that.
- 57:15Speaker 3: Well, definitely, I think if they made a 3, it
- 57:17Speaker 3: would devastate. It would definitely end on that lowest of
- 57:21Speaker 3: the low.
- 57:21Speaker 7: Would it be in 3D? Oh, probably.
- 57:23Speaker 2: I thought you already said 3D.
- 57:24Speaker 4: In black and white.
- 57:25Speaker 7: I wasn't paying any attention. That took harvest.
- 57:27Speaker 3: Black and white 3D.
- 57:27Speaker 2: So, I don't know. It's just one of those that
- 57:32Speaker 2: they love to drag this stuff out, but then once
- 57:34Speaker 2: they get it out, does anybody want it anymore?
- 57:36Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 57:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:37Speaker 1: No.
- 57:38Speaker 2: Nobody wants to see a 50-year-old Bill and or Ted.
- 57:41Speaker 2: It's just that these guys are old now and it's
- 57:43Speaker 2: going to be sad.
- 57:44Speaker 7: Are they going to be in a cover band? Because
- 57:45Speaker 7: they finally realized that nobody fucking cares about their band.
- 57:48Speaker 8: Are they going to be in a slow blues band?
- 57:50Speaker 8: Like a no depression blues band?
- 57:51Speaker 4: Classic rock.
- 57:52Speaker 2: Is it going to take place in the perfect future
- 57:54Speaker 2: that they created?
- 57:55Speaker 12: I like that weird shit that they showed of them, like,
- 57:57Speaker 12: strumming their guitars, like, ethereal-like.
- 57:59Speaker 2: Yeah, so, I mean, by now they would have made
- 58:02Speaker 2: it to that point, almost, if not, you know, pretty
- 58:05Speaker 2: close into that future. So, are they going to set
- 58:08Speaker 2: it in that future world that's all perfect and wonderful
- 58:10Speaker 2: thanks to Wild Stallion?
- 58:11Speaker 3: Or just make it in real life, today's standards?
- 58:15Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 58:15Speaker 13: That's sad.
- 58:16Speaker 3: We didn't do it. We didn't save the world.
- 58:19Speaker 8: This is a little bit off subject, but last night
- 58:22Speaker 8: I went to the casino and there's a bar at
- 58:24Speaker 8: the casino where they always have like a terrible cover band.
- 58:27Speaker 8: And they play, like, yeah, yeah, it should have been.
- 58:30Speaker 8: It was, like, some terrible country band. But, I mean, like,
- 58:34Speaker 8: there's a whole bunch of white people on the dance floor, like,
- 58:35Speaker 8: a whole bunch of old white people. And they play, like,
- 58:38Speaker 8: Lynyrd Skynyrd or, like, Hank Jr. People go fucking nuts.
- 58:43Speaker 4: I mean, like, they're, like, what?
- 58:47Speaker 7: Were you yelling black snake no.
- 58:49Speaker 8: I wasn't i wasn't but i mean my friends might
- 58:51Speaker 8: as well then they were like i was babysitting then
- 58:54Speaker 8: it was crazy things got wild it's.
- 58:56Speaker 7: Sad when you're the babysitter i.
- 58:57Speaker 8: Know i usually am i may sound like i'm like
- 59:00Speaker 8: a super duper party person but i'm really not and
- 59:03Speaker 8: i'm a fake party.
- 59:03Speaker 2: Person all i can say is damn white people damn.
- 59:08Speaker 8: Those white people really i it was so funny i
- 59:11Speaker 8: had to take pictures there's like this like old white
- 59:14Speaker 8: guy like boogieing down with his like little um asian
- 59:18Speaker 8: bride it was.
- 59:20Speaker 9: Cute we saw a bunch of weathermen rapping the other
- 59:24Speaker 9: day and like news anchors like all white just trying
- 59:29Speaker 9: to rap and i'm like no stop white people no.
- 59:31Speaker 8: Stop unless you're simon rex.
- 59:36Speaker 2: There are very few exceptions to the white people who
- 59:39Speaker 2: can rap i don't know what he is exactly i
- 59:45Speaker 2: don't know if he's human let alone.
- 59:46Speaker 8: White who's guy antwood oh die antwood antwood uh i
- 59:51Speaker 8: don't know.
- 59:53Speaker 5: It's been a while.
- 59:54Speaker 7: Oh, we forgot to talk about our Geek Week of
- 59:58Speaker 7: Buying the New Selena Gomez Super Deluxe Boobie Edition.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: You love that.
- 1:00:02Speaker 7: I do.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Movie or boobie edition?
- 1:00:04Speaker 7: Boobie.
- 1:00:05Speaker 2: She's obsessed with the special cover on the special edition
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: because it gives you a good amount of side boob.
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: She's legal now.
- 1:00:12Speaker 7: She can do what she wants.
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: Oh, I know. I'm not complaining. It just came out
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: of nowhere.
- 1:00:16Speaker 7: It's like, holy shit, where the hell did that come from?
- 1:00:18Speaker 4: Is it a lot of boobs?
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Does she have a lot of boobs?
- 1:00:19Speaker 2: Thank you, puberty.
- 1:00:21Speaker 7: I'm telling you, dude. It's funny because she released two CDs. Well,
- 1:00:25Speaker 7: it's the same CD. There's just the regular edition and
- 1:00:26Speaker 7: the special edition. I'm guessing the photo's taken around the
- 1:00:28Speaker 7: same time. But the regular edition, she looks like she's, like,
- 1:00:31Speaker 7: 12 still. And, like, the new one, the deluxe edition, yeah,
- 1:00:34Speaker 7: you get the deluxe edition.
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: All right.
- 1:00:36Speaker 3: You get boobie.
- 1:00:38Speaker 2: And I'm telling you, that's what they're doing. They've realized,
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: once again, the geniuses at Disney are like, money, watch this.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: We can market this one to the kid audience. And
- 1:00:46Speaker 2: she's still, you know, a kid, and all the 12-year-olds
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: can buy it. and uh guys look at this she's
- 1:00:51Speaker 2: 18 now so i mean they're they're playing the.
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Like more like brown look at.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: This hey you don't have to do that.
- 1:00:57Speaker 7: Because i already owned it and i already told him
- 1:01:00Speaker 7: like dude have you seen the new cover of the
- 1:01:02Speaker 7: selena come and you can see your boob and he
- 1:01:05Speaker 7: ran out and.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Bought it yeah i don't know what you're talking about
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: but yeah i think that's what it is they're just
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: they've realized they can still market to both groups of
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: people and then they're taking full advantage of that. Disney's
- 1:01:15Speaker 2: not stupid as they steal your money.
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: This makes me think of the apple really bad. The
- 1:01:22Speaker 8: corruption of Hollywood and just how disgusting and evil it is.
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: Don't eat the apple, Selina.
- 1:01:29Speaker 7: Don't do it. She's so hot.
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: She eats popcorn or something constantly. She's constantly eating.
- 1:01:36Speaker 2: Deep fried stuff. She loves her deep fried foods.
- 1:01:38Speaker 7: And her hot sauce popcorn which Jay now eats.
- 1:01:42Speaker 2: Because she's from Texas.
- 1:01:44Speaker 13: All right.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: We have our big Texas following. So they can agree.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Texas guys, come on. You guys like deep fried stuff
- 1:01:50Speaker 2: or not? Is she just making that shit up?
- 1:01:52Speaker 3: South does.
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: I'm from Texas. I like deep fried stuff.
- 1:01:56Speaker 8: I got a deep fryer for Christmas last year from
- 1:01:58Speaker 8: my ex-boyfriend, who was my boyfriend at the time.
- 1:02:00Speaker 4: But I let him keep it at his house. I'm
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: just like, ugh. You can have it.
- 1:02:06Speaker 8: I don't want to be alone and deep fry stuff.
- 1:02:08Speaker 4: That would be the end of my life.
- 1:02:10Speaker 7: Maybe deep fry everything you own.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: A deep fried brisket? I know.
- 1:02:15Speaker 4: I'm like, I'm alone and I'm deep frying everything I eat.
- 1:02:20Speaker 4: This deep fire is full of tears. No, not really.
- 1:02:23Speaker 7: Jesus. So what other buzz is this? Are you going
- 1:02:28Speaker 7: to discuss the buzz that I emailed you about.
- 1:02:30Speaker 4: The other day?
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: That was next on the list. Would you like to
- 1:02:33Speaker 2: break that one?
- 1:02:34Speaker 7: No, I can't say her name right.
- 1:02:37Speaker 2: I was like, Emily?
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: No.
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: That's a pretty easy name. So Emily Lestrange is sort
- 1:02:42Speaker 2: of a gothic counterculture counterpart to Hello Kitty, according to
- 1:02:46Speaker 2: this story.
- 1:02:47Speaker 7: No, she's not a cat at all. That's stupid.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Yes, she is.
- 1:02:50Speaker 7: She has a cat. That's retarded.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: I don't know. I didn't make this up. So, yeah,
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: she first appeared on Apparel and Accessories back in the 90s,
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: and in recent years has become a star of both
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: books and comic books.
- 1:03:04Speaker 4: I thought that's over. I thought people were done with her.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: Well, obviously not, because plans for Emily the Strange, the movie,
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: have been in works for years, but this week the
- 1:03:12Speaker 2: project got its first serious signs of life with Chloe Moretz.
- 1:03:17Speaker 4: Who's that?
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: That would be everyone. Basically, at this point, I think
- 1:03:22Speaker 2: Chloe is, like, what everybody wants their little sister to be.
- 1:03:24Speaker 8: Okay.
- 1:03:25Speaker 2: She's awesome and kind of a badass. Yep, everyone's favorite
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: little sister. Chloe Moretz is now stepping out of her
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: being a Dracula.
- 1:03:33Speaker 7: She's one of them Draculas.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: She is one of them Draculas. So she's just finishing
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: that up. She is Hit Girl. She'll be in Let
- 1:03:40Speaker 2: Me In in the next coming weeks here.
- 1:03:42Speaker 7: Which I have some extra posters if anybody wants any.
- 1:03:44Speaker 7: But anyway, she's going to be playing Emily the Strange,
- 1:03:46Speaker 7: which I think I can't decide how I feel about that.
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: I think it's the first thing that would put it
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: in the right direction.
- 1:03:52Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:03:53Speaker 7: It's not that I have a problem with her. I
- 1:03:54Speaker 7: just don't understand why they need to emulate the Stranger.
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: That may be more the question. Like, if it didn't
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: have her attached, I would say, where can you take
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: this movie? Is your audience even there anymore?
- 1:04:04Speaker 4: Is it the world over, like, angsty little, like, goth girls?
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, the goth thing is sort of tapered
- 1:04:10Speaker 2: off quite a bit, so I don't know. Again, if
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: you would have done this, like, in the, late 90s
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: when it was at its full you know rage then
- 1:04:17Speaker 2: you might have been able to make money off of
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: it but now you could.
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: Have got janine garofalo.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: I've watched that movie that sounds that sounds entertaining right
- 1:04:26Speaker 2: there let's.
- 1:04:27Speaker 4: Start a petition to put janine garofalo back in movies.
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: I don't think she wants to be in movies.
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: No, she's like, fuck this.
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: She's like, I've had enough of you idiots.
- 1:04:36Speaker 7: Last time I saw her, she was, like, blonde.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: She just seems even more angry and bitter than she's
- 1:04:42Speaker 2: always been her entire career.
- 1:04:44Speaker 7: She changed her entire look from the last time I
- 1:04:45Speaker 7: saw her. She was, like, really super skinny and blonde.
- 1:04:48Speaker 9: Ew.
- 1:04:48Speaker 2: And she's gotten a whole bunch of new tattoos, too.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: She's always had one for years, but, like, the last
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: couple of times I've seen her, it, like, keeps increasing. So, yeah,
- 1:04:57Speaker 2: she's definitely changing over the time here. We probably won't
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: recognize her next time we see her.
- 1:05:01Speaker 5: She's probably almost 52. She's had a lot of work done.
- 1:05:04Speaker 7: Like, a lot of work. Her face is like, yeah.
- 1:05:07Speaker 4: I wouldn't have ever pegged her for someone to have
- 1:05:09Speaker 4: work done.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: No.
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: She just, uh.
- 1:05:11Speaker 7: Have you not seen her lately?
- 1:05:12Speaker 9: No.
- 1:05:12Speaker 2: Not in a while.
- 1:05:13Speaker 4: That's weird.
- 1:05:14Speaker 7: To me, it looks like she's had a lot of
- 1:05:15Speaker 7: fucking shit done.
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: Hopefully not. I am not buying that.
- 1:05:18Speaker 7: We can Google it later.
- 1:05:19Speaker 2: I can't get behind that.
- 1:05:20Speaker 7: Alright, what else is there?
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: That's what she said. That's what he said.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:25Speaker 9: I don't know how that would work.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: This doesn't even make sense anymore.
- 1:05:34Speaker 2: I suppose.
- 1:05:36Speaker 8: You know, I can tell that the whole Emily thing's
- 1:05:37Speaker 8: over because people don't come up to me and tell
- 1:05:39Speaker 8: me that I look like Emily anymore.
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: So it used to happen a lot. They're like, you
- 1:05:42Speaker 4: look like Emily the Strange. I'm like, who? What?
- 1:05:46Speaker 8: Although I got my haircut yesterday, which is the same
- 1:05:49Speaker 8: haircut that I always have.
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: But I had several... Several people tell me I look
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: like a little Asian lady like Ms.
- 1:05:55Speaker 7: Schwan. Oh, you do kind of look like Ms. Schwan.
- 1:05:58Speaker 4: And then they made me do the Ms. Schwan face.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: How's it go?
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Nothing like visual experiences on the radio.
- 1:06:08Speaker 4: Everyone else got to see it ridiculed before.
- 1:06:12Speaker 7: Well, you know that I had two then.
- 1:06:13Speaker 2: I know.
- 1:06:14Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:06:15Speaker 15: Wow.
- 1:06:15Speaker 7: Yeah, it's okay. It's my job to ridicule.
- 1:06:18Speaker 4: I look Asian.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: It's cool.
- 1:06:20Speaker 4: I have a friend named Laura.
- 1:06:23Speaker 8: No but she has like black short hair and bangs
- 1:06:27Speaker 8: too and everybody at her work calls her Rara Rav.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: And we're not we're not PC Jesus.
- 1:06:35Speaker 7: Christ and I'm the one who gets hate mail that's
- 1:06:39Speaker 7: what I'm saying those.
- 1:06:40Speaker 8: Gingers they just don't like being picked on they're an
- 1:06:45Speaker 8: angry race trust me.
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: It's the temper what were we talking about And cut.
- 1:06:52Speaker 13: Moving on.
- 1:06:53Speaker 7: Yep, Roger looks pissed. Let's keep.
- 1:06:57Speaker 3: Going.
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: Alright, so last November, Rob Zombie announced plans to direct
- 1:07:04Speaker 2: another horrible remake. I'm quoting this, even though I do
- 1:07:07Speaker 2: kind of think it was a horrible idea, but that's
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: their story here. Another horrible remake after the two Halloween movies.
- 1:07:13Speaker 2: In the gooey form of the blob, but thankfully our
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: prayers and much bitching have been answered, and Rob Zombie
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: has decided to drop out of the Blob remake because
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: of his experiences with those two Halloween movies and instead
- 1:07:27Speaker 2: go back to his directorial roots with an actual original story.
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: Is that possible?
- 1:07:33Speaker 9: Go.
- 1:07:33Speaker 7: Yay.
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: Go, Zombie. The Lords of Salem will be set in
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: modern Salem, Massachusetts and depict what happens when a town's
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: residents receive a demonic visit from a 300-year-old coven of witches.
- 1:07:47Speaker 4: It sounds like the Elvira movie.
- 1:07:51Speaker 5: Sounds like Hocus Pocus. Ooh, I love Elvira.
- 1:07:54Speaker 2: She's back in action. She's back. She's on this.
- 1:07:58Speaker 13: On what?
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: She's on this. Our favorite channel that we go into
- 1:08:01Speaker 2: every week. She's getting to host the Saturday night movie
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: shows again.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: I just feel the joy. That was me.
- 1:08:06Speaker 7: There was a happy dance. You all missed it.
- 1:08:08Speaker 2: Yep, you missed it. Hand shaking wildly.
- 1:08:10Speaker 7: There was jiggling about.
- 1:08:11Speaker 2: Jiggling.
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: And we're all still in our bikinis.
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: Well, of course.
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: Don't forget.
- 1:08:16Speaker 5: And hula hooping.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: We do that every week. So, yeah, here's what Rob
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: had to say about his decision to give up on remakes.
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: And I like this because it just shows he almost
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: was listening to everyone's bitching. Everyone's bitching. The remake train
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: is getting pretty tired now, you think. And when I
- 1:08:34Speaker 2: made Halloween, everybody complained. Either it was too much like
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: the original or too different. I like that people either
- 1:08:39Speaker 2: love or hate what I do because it's better than
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: being in the middle, which means forgettable. See, now I'm
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: also taking that for our show now. At least if
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: they're bitching, they're paying attention to what we're saying.
- 1:08:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: But when you do an original premise, they take it
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: on face value. And after three years of not being
- 1:08:53Speaker 2: able to win on Halloween, I just couldn't go through
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: that again. So he's given up on hopefully all remakes.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: Cause I, I really enjoyed the Halloween movies, the remakes.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Maybe that's because I haven't seen the originals. Hate me
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: if you want. The first one, yeah, you really need
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: to see the first one.
- 1:09:11Speaker 9: Yeah, probably should.
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: The rest of them, I can live without most of
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: the sequels.
- 1:09:15Speaker 7: But I enjoyed them.
- 1:09:15Speaker 5: They scared the shit out of me. Except for the
- 1:09:17Speaker 5: one that has Danielle in it, and she's awesome.
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: I like, well, again, I like Danielle in those, but again,
- 1:09:22Speaker 2: I think she's like.
- 1:09:22Speaker 4: I guess Paul Rudd is.
- 1:09:24Speaker 7: In one of them, too.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: I think the later one.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:09:27Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:09:27Speaker 7: I blocked it out.
- 1:09:28Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: But, I mean, they get very repetitive, and I mean,
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: to me, none of them come anywhere near what that
- 1:09:34Speaker 2: first one was, so.
- 1:09:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:09:35Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:09:36Speaker 8: But, I mean, my problem with the most recent one,
- 1:09:39Speaker 8: it was fucking stupid, because the timeline was, like, skewed,
- 1:09:42Speaker 8: and it was just, like, when is this fucking set?
- 1:09:45Speaker 4: Like, is this set in the 70s? Is it, like,
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: modern times?
- 1:09:48Speaker 2: It's just, like, he couldn't... It's, like, all of his stuff.
- 1:09:51Speaker 2: It's sort of set in his childhood, but he doesn't
- 1:09:54Speaker 2: really want to commit to it fully, so it just
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: seems like it is.
- 1:09:58Speaker 8: I don't like that ambiguous time, like, fictional time period thing.
- 1:10:02Speaker 4: Like, I like when things are set in the past...
- 1:10:05Speaker 4: Or if it's set.
- 1:10:06Speaker 8: In the future or current times, that's fine, too. But just, like,
- 1:10:09Speaker 8: pick one and go with it.
- 1:10:10Speaker 4: You know, it's not just like, oh, it's sort of
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: the 70s, but it's sort of modern times.
- 1:10:15Speaker 13: Like, what?
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: It makes no fucking sense.
- 1:10:18Speaker 2: A lot of what he does makes no fucking sense.
- 1:10:19Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Like, killing off half the people and then just bringing
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: them back the next movie. He's like, oh, it's a sequel.
- 1:10:25Speaker 2: People don't need story to piece those things together.
- 1:10:27Speaker 15: Yeah.
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:10:30Speaker 8: And, I mean, I used to really like his wife
- 1:10:31Speaker 8: because she's cute and, like, Silly, but God, in fucking
- 1:10:34Speaker 8: Devil's Rejects, I wanted to choke her out.
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: Oh, I loved her in Devil's Rejects.
- 1:10:39Speaker 4: Shut your fucking mouth, bitch.
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: See, I'm glad it wasn't just me, because as much
- 1:10:43Speaker 2: as I liked her in the first one, I kind
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: of got tired of it in the second one.
- 1:10:47Speaker 5: I hated her in the first one and loved her
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: in the second one.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: See, I know Misty liked her in Devil's Rejects, too.
- 1:10:51Speaker 7: I liked her in both of them. I love Bill
- 1:10:53Speaker 7: Moseley more in the Devil's Rejects.
- 1:10:55Speaker 4: Yeah, me too.
- 1:10:56Speaker 7: There ain't no bullets in this thing. It's all fucking
- 1:10:58Speaker 7: mind power.
- 1:11:01Speaker 2: He is awesome in fucking everything.
- 1:11:02Speaker 4: Bill Mostly is awesome in everything.
- 1:11:04Speaker 2: He really is. He makes some terrible movies, but he's awesome.
- 1:11:06Speaker 7: Otis was hot in the second movie.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: That's because he got ripped, yeah?
- 1:11:09Speaker 7: He did. Oh, God, Bill Mostly. He's way hotter in
- 1:11:13Speaker 7: that than he is at conventions wearing his purple fucking sweatshirt.
- 1:11:16Speaker 4: Is that what he was wearing when we met him?
- 1:11:18Speaker 7: Well, one of the times I was wearing him he
- 1:11:19Speaker 7: was wearing a purple sweatshirt and jeans with his patches
- 1:11:21Speaker 7: sewn on.
- 1:11:22Speaker 4: His eyes are so beautiful. They're just like, ting.
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: That's kind of my favorite thing about him. I mean,
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: he plays such a badass in all the movies, but
- 1:11:29Speaker 2: you see him in the real world, he's such a dork.
- 1:11:31Speaker 8: I like his boat neck, his striped French boat neck
- 1:11:34Speaker 8: shirt in that audition tape we watched.
- 1:11:36Speaker 4: I was like, what are you going to be? Fucking
- 1:11:39Speaker 4: peddling baguettes?
- 1:11:40Speaker 8: Are you like steering a gondola?
- 1:11:45Speaker 7: Now the French don't write you angry letters.
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: You're fucking better.
- 1:11:49Speaker 2: I think that's the one.
- 1:11:51Speaker 8: Speaking of angry French, I was at my best friend's
- 1:11:55Speaker 8: house watching this show about cake decorating. And there was this, like,
- 1:11:59Speaker 8: French chocolatier on there, and her boyfriend just looks at
- 1:12:02Speaker 8: the TV and goes, God damn, Frenchie, I fucking hate.
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: Or he was like, I fucking hate the French. I
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: don't like them none. I was like, okay.
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: All right.
- 1:12:11Speaker 4: It was really fun.
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: Good times.
- 1:12:15Speaker 4: It's cool.
- 1:12:15Speaker 7: It's okay to hate the French.
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: You do get a little more leeway on that one.
- 1:12:19Speaker 4: Like the guy at the flea market, remember? With the bikes?
- 1:12:22Speaker 8: He's like, I was dating a girl and I found
- 1:12:25Speaker 8: out she was fucking Canadian and.
- 1:12:27Speaker 4: I had to dump her. She's probably a liberal, too.
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: That guy was awesome.
- 1:12:32Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:12:32Speaker 4: I want to marry that guy.
- 1:12:33Speaker 7: You're not French or Canadian.
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: No, I know.
- 1:12:36Speaker 4: He was pretty hot for an older guy.
- 1:12:37Speaker 7: And he had bikes.
- 1:12:40Speaker 8: I know.
- 1:12:41Speaker 2: See, it's not just us. Everybody says horrible, horrible things.
- 1:12:45Speaker 7: See, it's not just me.
- 1:12:46Speaker 2: It's just the world.
- 1:12:47Speaker 4: Well, we're in Kentucky, so.
- 1:12:50Speaker 2: But everyone's not in Kentucky.
- 1:12:51Speaker 9: Yeah, no.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: That's our downside is we're saying horrible things to people far,
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: far away. So we forget. Even though I can spread
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: my hatred.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: We forget that you're real because we can't see you.
- 1:13:02Speaker 4: Yeah, exactly.
- 1:13:03Speaker 5: So technically you don't exist.
- 1:13:07Speaker 4: See, we're not offending anyone at the table.
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: And that's really all we care about.
- 1:13:11Speaker 4: And then not so much anyway.
- 1:13:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we kind of do that too, really. We don't care.
- 1:13:16Speaker 4: Oh, that hurt your feelings? Get over it, bitch.
- 1:13:27Speaker 5: Roger wakes up long enough to go from there.
- 1:13:29Speaker 4: Okay, let's do this.
- 1:13:33Speaker 7: Oh, let's do this.
- 1:13:34Speaker 9: I agree.
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: I need to stand up. My legs are falling asleep.
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: Actually, they're all asleep.
- 1:13:39Speaker 7: Where's my fish stick? It's worked up to my butt.
- 1:13:40Speaker 7: Where's my fish stick, bitches?
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: I guess we should skip the rest of these.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Can we get through them? I'll be quiet.
- 1:13:54Speaker 2: Read it real fast. We'll stop.
- 1:13:57Speaker 4: Taking a vow of silence like a nun.
- 1:13:58Speaker 2: I don't believe you.
- 1:14:00Speaker 7: Nobody believes you.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: You're about as nun-like as the Lindsay Lohan visual would
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: get there. I see her in the habit, but I'm
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: not buying it.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: All right, you know what?
- 1:14:09Speaker 13: You love it.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: It's time for the remake of the week.
- 1:14:12Speaker 5: Yay!
- 1:14:13Speaker 2: And this one I don't think anybody will be upset
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: for because they keep remaking this. I actually am a
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: fan of the original, and eventually I think we need
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: to watch that. So that's kind of half the reason
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: I wanted to mention it. The Day of the Triffids
- 1:14:25Speaker 2: was a British 1951 science fiction novel about bioengineered species
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: of intelligent plants that take over after a massive meteor
- 1:14:33Speaker 2: shower blinds most of the humans on Earth. It's just
- 1:14:35Speaker 2: a cool story. I like the idea. So it was
- 1:14:39Speaker 2: originally adapted as a British movie in 62. There have
- 1:14:42Speaker 2: also been two UK miniseries in 81, and then another
- 1:14:46Speaker 2: one that I've actually heard was really good in 2009.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: So now, one of the producers of that last miniseries
- 1:14:53Speaker 2: is in development for a new adaptation of the novel
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: as a 3D theatrical movie. I just think it is
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: a cool story, and it's one that obviously people in
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: Britain love this story because they keep remaking it, but
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: it's one that we've always sort of overlooked. It's sort
- 1:15:10Speaker 2: of like we remember the original one, but we just
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: kind of throw it out there with all the old
- 1:15:14Speaker 2: cheesy sci-fi movies. Nobody in this country has paid any
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: attention to either of the miniseries other than Super Geeks. But,
- 1:15:21Speaker 2: I mean, other than that, it hasn't really even, you know,
- 1:15:24Speaker 2: ended up on our radar. So it will be interesting
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: if they can find a way to make it sort
- 1:15:28Speaker 2: of like something that would appeal to Americans because it
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: sort of missed us all together. But I don't know.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: I just thought it was kind of a cool story.
- 1:15:36Speaker 3: I can't remember the last time I saw Day of
- 1:15:38Speaker 3: the Triffids. I think it was one of those Saturday
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: morning type deals.
- 1:15:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: I want to go back and watch it. It's pretty awesome.
- 1:15:45Speaker 7: Never seen it.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: There is no word yet on who they've hired to
- 1:15:48Speaker 2: write or direct it, but yep, they're shooting for 3D,
- 1:15:51Speaker 2: so you need plants coming at your face.
- 1:15:53Speaker 3: Coming at you.
- 1:15:56Speaker 2: And this one, we will wrap up. Just sort of
- 1:16:00Speaker 2: because we've made comments about this series many a time
- 1:16:03Speaker 2: over the run of the show, but... After taking a
- 1:16:05Speaker 2: break from the franchise, we found out this week that
- 1:16:08Speaker 2: Kate Beckinsale will be returning as the vampire warrior in
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: the new Underworld 4. Sweet.
- 1:16:13Speaker 7: Good.
- 1:16:15Speaker 2: Basically, that translates to, nobody went to see Whiteout.
- 1:16:19Speaker 3: Whiteout sucked.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: Yeah, nobody saw that.
- 1:16:21Speaker 5: Is that the one about the aliens?
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: No.
- 1:16:24Speaker 3: It's just a murder mystery in the middle of nowhere.
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: It doesn't know what it is. Yeah, it sucked.
- 1:16:27Speaker 2: It's like, what is it?
- 1:16:29Speaker 5: Aliens?
- 1:16:29Speaker 2: Is it the killer? Is it a... I don't know.
- 1:16:32Speaker 2: She's in the shower. Okay, let's make a movie about that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: It's diamonds.
- 1:16:35Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 1:16:36Speaker 3: I'm confused.
- 1:16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the thing. The trailer, like, leaves you confused.
- 1:16:40Speaker 2: And then people that... The few people that went to
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: see it, because they show a shot of her taking
- 1:16:44Speaker 2: a shower, which I'm assuming.
- 1:16:45Speaker 3: Which they don't.
- 1:16:45Speaker 2: You don't get full-on, you know, beck and sail action. So... Yeah,
- 1:16:49Speaker 2: they suck again with that, and then you get there,
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: and it's just like a normal movie.
- 1:16:52Speaker 3: It's just unfair.
- 1:16:53Speaker 5: She teases us way too much.
- 1:16:54Speaker 2: She's a big D. That's what she is.
- 1:16:56Speaker 3: She's back and forth.
- 1:16:57Speaker 2: Be like Mila.
- 1:16:58Speaker 7: Just give us a little. Yeah.
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: We just want to see that. Side boob. Come on.
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: Crust of a nipple.
- 1:17:05Speaker 2: Speaking of Mila, I didn't realize how much it had
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: in common with that series, though. They were both sort
- 1:17:10Speaker 2: of horror, but really they were more action movies than anything.
- 1:17:13Speaker 2: They had a female lead. Both of them were created
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: and kind of run by the female lead's husband. This
- 1:17:20Speaker 2: will be the first one not directed by her husband,
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Lynn Wiseman.
- 1:17:23Speaker 9: And then if you put them back to back and
- 1:17:25Speaker 9: just watch them... Like, even some of the fight scenes
- 1:17:28Speaker 9: are pretty much the same.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: Yeah, kind of.
- 1:17:30Speaker 7: But Mila's way more awesome.
- 1:17:31Speaker 3: So her husband's not doing it?
- 1:17:33Speaker 2: Well, he didn't direct the third, but this is the
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: first one that she'll be in.
- 1:17:35Speaker 3: Because the third one sucked assholes.
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, so this will be the first one she's
- 1:17:38Speaker 2: in that he didn't direct. But, yeah, I guess he's
- 1:17:40Speaker 2: getting away from it. I don't know if he's still
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: going to be writing it or have some sort of
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: producer credit. But, yeah, he is not directing this one, so...
- 1:17:48Speaker 2: I can't wait.
- 1:17:48Speaker 3: I love that series.
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: So they say, although there is no word yet on
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: the premise of Underworld 4, one detail that has been
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: revealed is that the film will feature the new character
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: of Selene's daughter. So, I guess, Draculers can knock out kids?
- 1:18:02Speaker 3: Well, some Draculers are born Draculers, so... I was born
- 1:18:06Speaker 3: a vampire.
- 1:18:07Speaker 5: Angel got his soul back when he had a kid, so.
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Shh! He doesn't want to hear about that. He doesn't
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: like that Angel.
- 1:18:12Speaker 6: No.
- 1:18:14Speaker 7: Connor was a whiny little bitch.
- 1:18:16Speaker 3: Yeah, he was a whiny little bitch.
- 1:18:17Speaker 5: And he fucked around with Cordelia.
- 1:18:20Speaker 7: Cordelia was awesome.
- 1:18:22Speaker 5: She was half deity.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: And she's hot.
- 1:18:26Speaker 7: And fucked hard. And she looked good in Playboy.
- 1:18:29Speaker 2: But she looked good naked. She did not tease. She
- 1:18:32Speaker 2: came through for us.
- 1:18:33Speaker 7: She got all kinds of naked.
- 1:18:35Speaker 2: She was in a.
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: Nerd show for like nine years. Of course she got
- 1:18:39Speaker 5: full on naked.
- 1:18:40Speaker 3: Willow should. Whatever her name is.
- 1:18:43Speaker 2: She's bad.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:18:45Speaker 7: I saw her in like Maxim or FHM.
- 1:18:47Speaker 3: Oh, it was a terrible shoot. It was a terrible shoot.
- 1:18:50Speaker 7: She looked petrified of half nakedness.
- 1:18:52Speaker 11: She was like.
- 1:18:53Speaker 4: That comes on tonight, by the way.
- 1:18:54Speaker 7: Yeah, it was not hot.
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: Yeah, no, I have to remind myself.
- 1:18:57Speaker 7: What comes on tonight?
- 1:18:58Speaker 8: Dexter.
- 1:18:58Speaker 2: The new Dexter. It's gonna kick ass.
- 1:19:01Speaker 5: Damn it. Well.
- 1:19:03Speaker 2: All right, so as Kate Beckinsale returns to being queen
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: of the underworld, we bid you adieu and invite you
- 1:19:08Speaker 2: to come back and join us for this week's Sofa
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: Theater feature, Sharked Up Boys! I'm gonna go make some fish.
- 1:19:16Speaker 7: For my fish steaks. For my fish steaks.
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: Oh, Tarsus.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: Oh, Tarsus. Oh, Tarsus. Okay, Tarsus.
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Hi.
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: Oh, Tarsus.
- 1:19:46Speaker 16: You know I'm singing just for you Queen of.
- 1:19:51Speaker 15: The underworld Took a ride on the church wall Meanwhile
- 1:20:05Speaker 15: a mother knows Out on the street you'll hear that laughter.
- 1:20:15Speaker 16: And pretty green hearts turn to blue Everything you heard
- 1:20:26Speaker 16: I've gotten.
- 1:20:30Speaker 15: Persecution's nothing new Queen of the world It took a while, baby,
- 1:20:48Speaker 15: to evolve Meanwhile.
- 1:20:51Speaker 3: The love evolves.
- 1:21:13Speaker 16: I never got an invitation Never heard too much.
- 1:21:22Speaker 15: I'm gonna make.
- 1:21:23Speaker 16: A reservation But I'm not in a rush And all
- 1:21:31Speaker 16: across this alien nation I'm in a town called Rizal
- 1:21:42Speaker 16: Speed Out on the highway of perfection We.
- 1:21:51Speaker 15: Only wanted to be free Queen of the underworld Took
- 1:21:57Speaker 15: a ride on a children's ride Meanwhile in the.
- 1:22:23Speaker 13: Must Robin now carry on alone? Who is making a
- 1:22:43Speaker 13: getaway in this speeding car?
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: See the stockling.
- 1:22:50Speaker 13: Robin at this theater next week.
