  everything that she had to

  say about her accident.

  If you have not seen that,

  turns out it was pretty horrific.

  Turns out that her and Jake

  were driving down a two lane road.

  The car coming in the

  opposite direction was

  going over a hundred miles an hour.

  It hit something,

  then began to skid toward them.

  A piece of something flew through the air,

  flew through their windshield,

  landing on Alex's leg.

  The crazy thing is normally

  when her and Jake are driving,

  she is sitting in the seat

  where that thing landed.

  But she just happened to be

  over and sitting sideways

  where she was only hit on the leg.

  That trapped her.

  Jake had to go around,

  pulled the item off of her.

  And just to get her untrapped,

  it took a while to get her

  out of the car.

  They didn't realize

  apparently a fire started

  with the other car and the bank.

  And then they realized they

  needed to get her out because of that.

  So, yeah.

  Crazy, crazy story.

  She does have a broken fibula.

  It is a four to six week recovery.

  Meaning that you're talking

  mid July to be getting back to training.

  She talked about,

  does she want to go to the

  CrossFit games and be less than herself?

  And can she just have fun,

  but she doesn't want to go

  and be just one of those

  people who says I could have done this,

  So I know it was only like

  twenty four hours, forty eight hours,

  somewhere in there after the accident.

  There's probably a lot still

  going around in her head.

  She did contact Dave Castro

  and asked what the deadline

  would be for her to make a
• 7:07
  decision on going to the CrossFit Games.

  And it sounds like they

  agreed to three weeks prior

  to the games being a good

  time to make the final call.

  um the the car that struck

  her and jake was full of
• 7:29
  drugs and alcohol it also

  uh they had no insurance

  So there is a GoFundMe account out there,

  but got wrapped up in some work stuff.

  who was the doctor at the CrossFit Games,

  who has helped people like Emily Rolfe,

  I've known Dr. Rocket for a

  while through my volunteering.

  He's a good guy,

  and he's very giving with
