- 0:15Speaker 1: All right, everybody here. It is episode number two of
- 0:19Speaker 1: He's Happy Hour. I don't know what the hell's still
- 0:22Speaker 1: going on, but I guarantee you damn good time, smart
- 0:26Speaker 1: Mark talk to me baby.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Okay. Well, hey, we're coming off our first episode last month. Right,
- 0:30Speaker 2: there was a lot of great feedback, beautiful, a lot
- 0:34Speaker 2: of walls. Yeah, people loved it.
- 0:36Speaker 1: Good.
- 0:37Speaker 2: I said, we want to talk about sort of you know,
- 0:40Speaker 2: wrestling things, but also normal things as well.
- 0:43Speaker 1: For sure, me too.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Right, So this week you said you don't know what's
- 0:47Speaker 2: going on, I just smartened you up, literally like thirty
- 0:49Speaker 2: seconds ago, that this week's topic is actually the great
- 0:55Speaker 2: Harry Potter.
- 0:57Speaker 1: Harry Potter, Harry Potter, Pa pa.
- 1:03Speaker 2: So Brian Meyer.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Something like that.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Right, I think you nailed it, dude, I think I
- 1:09Speaker 2: did too. Brian Meyer said he was dumbfounded when he
- 1:12Speaker 2: found out that heaths Later was in fact a Harry
- 1:15Speaker 2: Potter fan.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Brother. He still has a lot to learn about me, really,
- 1:20Speaker 1: Oh yeah, man, come on, there's I change every day
- 1:24Speaker 1: I grow, you know, I keep growing and growing. I
- 1:27Speaker 1: got limbs. I'm like a tree, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:30Speaker 1: I just got limbs growing of all different directions and
- 1:33Speaker 1: a lot of people don't know about.
- 1:35Speaker 2: But before we jump into it, just for some context.
- 1:41Speaker 2: Everyone knows you got kids.
- 1:44Speaker 1: Oh that's a fact, but what what.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Is what do you actually have? You have two girls?
- 1:49Speaker 1: Yeah? Two girls, man, and what are the ages? Yeah?
- 1:53Speaker 1: So fifth and third grade? And one's just like mama
- 1:58Speaker 1: and the other ones just like me. Oh brother, it's
- 2:01Speaker 1: it's so obvious too. It's crazy. One's literally a Disney
- 2:06Speaker 1: princess and the other one is me in a little
- 2:09Speaker 1: eight year old body of a little girl. So, uh yeah,
- 2:13Speaker 1: it's wild man Connor uh Ryan from Ascension. He calls him,
- 2:19Speaker 1: he calls Rod's Disney princess, and he calls remy queen
- 2:23Speaker 1: cong brother. I remember he came to my house one
- 2:27Speaker 1: day to stay the night, you know, when we were
- 2:29Speaker 1: in town and stuff, and he literally just saw her
- 2:31Speaker 1: in her pantry climbing it trying to get something. And
- 2:34Speaker 1: this was when she was like two or three, you know,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and then he just was like whoa, whoa, what? What
- 2:40Speaker 1: what was going on? You know? I'm like, oh, don't worry,
- 2:43Speaker 1: I'll get her. You know.
- 2:44Speaker 2: She climbs the pantry, off it.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Brother, She goes everywhere. She's just a nut. But no,
- 2:48Speaker 1: you know, I got kids, man, and that allows me
- 2:51Speaker 1: to act foolish and be a kid. Like I have
- 2:54Speaker 1: an excuse to act like a kid now, you know,
- 2:58Speaker 1: being a dad, brother, it's to be. It is the
- 3:01Speaker 1: best because you can't make fun of me for doing it,
- 3:03Speaker 1: because more like people if I was doing it on
- 3:05Speaker 1: my own, they'd be like, look at this, you know,
- 3:08Speaker 1: what is they doing? But I'm doing with the kids,
- 3:09Speaker 1: and they're like, all look at that.
- 3:12Speaker 2: You know, but no, man, Yeah, So indirectly it's speaking
- 3:17Speaker 2: of that we I always think me and Brian have
- 3:19Speaker 2: talked about this, when what's gonna happen when Matt becomes
- 3:22Speaker 2: a dad, you know, like his life's gonna change so much.
- 3:25Speaker 2: But I also think that he's gonna really like it
- 3:27Speaker 2: because of that exact reason.
- 3:30Speaker 1: It's gonna be a I well, this is me, this
- 3:34Speaker 1: is what I feel about it. He will probably be
- 3:37Speaker 1: a wonderful dad, right, you know. But the one thing
- 3:41Speaker 1: that's going to kill him more than anything is that
- 3:45Speaker 1: every one of those toys that he has, they're gonna
- 3:48Speaker 1: have to go somewhere or they're gonna have to get
- 3:50Speaker 1: a way bigger house one or the other because and
- 3:54Speaker 1: you can't get mad when the kid stumbles into your
- 3:57Speaker 1: room and then it's destroyed because it's a baby and
- 4:00Speaker 1: don't know better. But I feel like he would take
- 4:02Speaker 1: it personally and have heat. To say personal, he would
- 4:07Speaker 1: take it personally, have heat with this little baby girl
- 4:10Speaker 1: or boy. You know.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
- 4:12Speaker 1: The next thing you know, he's given a rough rider
- 4:14Speaker 1: to a two year old. Everybody, he's making the news,
- 4:19Speaker 1: you know.
- 4:21Speaker 2: All right, So Harry Potter, how'd it start?
- 4:25Speaker 1: So?
- 4:26Speaker 2: Now, were you a fan at all before the kids?
- 4:28Speaker 2: Did you like? Read it when it came out?
- 4:31Speaker 1: So me and my wife's been together on an off
- 4:35Speaker 1: since high school. Okay, so seventeen and fifteen is when
- 4:39Speaker 1: we knew each other. But her and her dad was
- 4:42Speaker 1: the hugest fans of Harry Potter. They read the books,
- 4:46Speaker 1: They went to the midnight showings at the AMC. You know,
- 4:49Speaker 1: they did all of that. So at that age, she
- 4:53Speaker 1: reeled me in on it because I'm like, heck, yeah,
- 4:55Speaker 1: I want to go on a date with this girl.
- 4:57Speaker 1: I'll go and watch Harry Potter. Who cares? You know.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I got into it because, you know, I have an imagination.
- 5:02Speaker 1: I wished I had a wand and could cast a
- 5:04Speaker 1: spell and some sons of bitches.
- 5:06Speaker 2: You know doesn't have Brian does not have an imagination,
- 5:10Speaker 2: but go ahead.
- 5:11Speaker 1: He's better story man. But but it's like, you know,
- 5:17Speaker 1: I started back then watching it, but I never really
- 5:20Speaker 1: like dug into it until the babies came around, and
- 5:25Speaker 1: then Steph would have Harry Potter nights and making chocolate
- 5:28Speaker 1: frogs and getting the jelly beans and making the room
- 5:32Speaker 1: looks like it's like a Hogwarts scene, you know, like
- 5:35Speaker 1: it takes snow out. Dude, she went all out to
- 5:37Speaker 1: where I just was like, she really loves this ship,
- 5:40Speaker 1: you know. So then it reeled me in. And then
- 5:43Speaker 1: they said, you know, I'm a Harry Potter fan, you know.
- 5:46Speaker 2: So have you read all the I'm assuming you've seen
- 5:50Speaker 2: all the movies. Oh yeah, all the movies, read all
- 5:54Speaker 2: the books?
- 5:56Speaker 1: You really don't ask me that.
- 5:57Speaker 2: Well, it's fine.
- 5:58Speaker 1: If you have, of course, man, I of course I
- 6:01Speaker 1: have it.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Okay, of course I haven't. Hey, let me tell you,
- 6:05Speaker 2: let me tell you pale. All right, here's my one. Uh,
- 6:07Speaker 2: here's my one, pitch h, I read all the books
- 6:11Speaker 2: before the the movies movie came out, fully fully because
- 6:17Speaker 2: they were A couple of them are already out when
- 6:18Speaker 2: I started reading. But I didn't read. I listened.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Audio book traveling a lot.
- 6:24Speaker 2: You know that kind of ship. Right, Sure, they're pretty
- 6:27Speaker 2: quick and the Harry. So I I have listened to
- 6:30Speaker 2: a lot of audiobooks in my life. I one time
- 6:32Speaker 2: had a for two years. I had a hour and
- 6:34Speaker 2: a half commute to work every day, uh and back,
- 6:37Speaker 2: so it's three hours every day. I banged out books.
- 6:43Speaker 2: The the Harry Potter audio books is one of the
- 6:46Speaker 2: best narrators of all times. The Guinness Book of World
- 6:50Speaker 2: Records for the most distinct voices done in an audiobook.
- 6:53Speaker 1: Oh that's true, statement.
- 6:55Speaker 2: True statement. Every character he does a different voice. It's
- 6:58Speaker 2: fucking unreal.
- 7:00Speaker 1: About to say. He makes you really feel that moment.
- 7:02Speaker 1: And yes, yes, beautiful that.
- 7:07Speaker 2: You got a long trip. Try it out and it's
- 7:11Speaker 2: like soothing, it's nights relaxing. Yeah, all right, that's my pitch.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I'll definitely try it for sure, try it out.
- 7:23Speaker 2: Okay, So, so didn't read the books. All right? Also,
- 7:25Speaker 2: I will say our family as well, Harry Potter parties.
- 7:29Speaker 2: We've done it a couple of times.
- 7:31Speaker 1: Beautiful. We don't have to you know, can join it
- 7:33Speaker 1: one day and do it together.
- 7:35Speaker 2: My wife would love that.
- 7:36Speaker 1: Oh dude, Mama man too. Definitely.
- 7:39Speaker 2: I think they hit it off at the at the
- 7:40Speaker 2: Cardona wedding.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Time they did they had fun.
- 7:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, so uh all right. So and then the
- 7:46Speaker 2: other context is my daughter seven. We have read the
- 7:50Speaker 2: first book in total, and then we watched the movie,
- 7:53Speaker 2: so that's all. And then we just started the second
- 7:55Speaker 2: book literally last week. We're a couple of chapters.
- 7:58Speaker 1: In me well, Steph and the girls, I'll lay up
- 8:02Speaker 1: and listen, right and we're on the third movie. But
- 8:07Speaker 1: I mean after that, it kind of grows up quick
- 8:09Speaker 1: because you know, so it's like we have to pump
- 8:12Speaker 1: a break and then you know, continue because like, man,
- 8:16Speaker 1: I can't be talking about some of this stuff with
- 8:18Speaker 1: a ten and eight year.
- 8:19Speaker 2: Old, right, eight thousand percent agree? So eight yeah, you're
- 8:22Speaker 2: right with the eight. Really, I think that I think
- 8:25Speaker 2: we're only going to go to three until she's like twelve.
- 8:28Speaker 1: About to say we we're at three now we stop,
- 8:31Speaker 1: you know, so it's like soon. I feel like as
- 8:34Speaker 1: soon as Roz gets to twelve and Remy's ten, I
- 8:37Speaker 1: feel like like the younger one matures quicker. Than the
- 8:41Speaker 1: older one too, because they like keep up, you know, right.
- 8:44Speaker 1: And my little one, like I said, she's just like me.
- 8:46Speaker 1: She loves this scary stuff. She wants to watch stranger things.
- 8:50Speaker 1: She likes Penny Wise, you know what I mean. So
- 8:52Speaker 1: it's like brother, Yeah, she's she's a different animal.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Man, that's crazy. My daughter, like I said, seven, she
- 8:59Speaker 2: cries and she's he's pro wrestling. So oh yeah. Okay,
- 9:05Speaker 2: a couple of questions. Now, would you consider yourself somebody
- 9:11Speaker 2: said me and Matt are closet Harry Potter fans. Okay,
- 9:16Speaker 2: And my defense there is simply we don't talk about
- 9:19Speaker 2: it often. First of all, Matt has never even seen
- 9:21Speaker 2: the movies. He just likes Harry Potter World, so he's
- 9:23Speaker 2: a Hary Cutter and we'll talk about Harry Potter World
- 9:26Speaker 2: in a little bit.
- 9:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:28Speaker 2: I think that we don't talk about it because there's
- 9:30Speaker 2: no real toys, that toy podcast, there's nothing really that
- 9:35Speaker 2: We talk about star Wars a lot often because there's
- 9:36Speaker 2: tons of star wars to Harry Potter doesn't have any
- 9:39Speaker 2: Would you consider yourself a closet Harry Potter fan or
- 9:42Speaker 2: are you or would you tell anybody about it here
- 9:44Speaker 2: we are doing a podcast about it.
- 9:45Speaker 1: But about to say I tell anyone about it. I
- 9:47Speaker 1: don't care. You know. It's one of those things where like, man,
- 9:50Speaker 1: I'm kind of like an open book. I might keep
- 9:52Speaker 1: a few things to myself, but other than that, it's like, yeah, man,
- 9:55Speaker 1: this is who the hell I am? You know, so,
- 9:57Speaker 1: but nah, man, Harry Potter is cool. I mean, and
- 10:00Speaker 1: you know a lot of people might now, don't get
- 10:02Speaker 1: me wrong, When I do see like a forty fifty
- 10:05Speaker 1: year old man walking through the park with a cloak
- 10:07Speaker 1: and damn wands and trying to do magic, I kind
- 10:10Speaker 1: of scratched my head and step back and be like, damn, man,
- 10:12Speaker 1: you are really a fan, you know.
- 10:15Speaker 2: But if he's with his daughter, he wasn't Oh yeah, okay.
- 10:22Speaker 1: It was literally it was like I get the parent part.
- 10:25Speaker 1: If he's with this daughter doing and I'm like, bro,
- 10:27Speaker 1: good for you, you know. But if it's just you and
- 10:30Speaker 1: you're like in line with the kids, and then you
- 10:32Speaker 1: get up there and you just down circle cross, you know,
- 10:36Speaker 1: and there's a little magic trick in the window, like
- 10:39Speaker 1: come on, man, and he turns around with a smile,
- 10:41Speaker 1: I'm like, man, he's he's there, yes, but but no,
- 10:45Speaker 1: I'm not that deep. But yeah, I'm a fan, man,
- 10:48Speaker 1: got it. I'm a fan of the Lord of the Rings.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You know, I love that stuff. I like Star Wars, Like,
- 10:54Speaker 1: do I know every character down to the team. No,
- 10:57Speaker 1: but I do enjoy watching the movie, you know. So yeah,
- 11:01Speaker 1: it's cool.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Okay, So what what house is Heath's Slater in?
- 11:08Speaker 1: Brother? How about we just let everyone guess that one.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I think I think that Heath Slater is in.
- 11:19Speaker 1: Uh.
- 11:20Speaker 2: I think you're in Gryffindor. You're heroic, right.
- 11:23Speaker 1: I don't know. Maybe you've been a good guy.
- 11:26Speaker 2: You know, you're you're saving people often.
- 11:29Speaker 1: You know. You know. It's funny though, So you know
- 11:32Speaker 1: that legit Harry Potter test that you can take? Yes,
- 11:36Speaker 1: all right, So I never took it. And so on
- 11:40Speaker 1: the ride down to Orlando, STEP's like, hey, we're all
- 11:44Speaker 1: going to take the test and see what house we're inky. Okay. So,
- 11:49Speaker 1: and what's funny is that both of my little girls,
- 11:53Speaker 1: and this was a gift that they got at Harry
- 11:56Speaker 1: Potter World, they got Gryffindor.
- 12:00Speaker 2: Okay, then the test they got Gryffindor.
- 12:02Speaker 1: Yes, you know, so this is like a little notebook
- 12:05Speaker 1: that they even can't get their little sketch. But man,
- 12:08Speaker 1: this is like it actually feels good. It's a metal emblem.
- 12:11Speaker 1: This is like a cool little book you can get
- 12:13Speaker 1: down there. Yeah, but they both got gryffindor my wife
- 12:17Speaker 1: got is it hufflepuff? Yeah? And my ask got Slythering Man. Really, yes,
- 12:26Speaker 1: I am a Slythering. Yeah, my ass got a slithering man.
- 12:33Speaker 1: But then again, it was like, Snape's my favorite, you know,
- 12:37Speaker 1: so I'm just like and brother, I feel like with
- 12:40Speaker 1: He's hard as hell, mean as shit. But in the end, oh,
- 12:45Speaker 1: I want to cry. You know. It's like, oh, hero
- 12:48Speaker 1: up all he ros, you know what I mean? Wow?
- 12:51Speaker 2: So what that was one of my next questions of
- 12:53Speaker 2: your favorite character.
- 12:55Speaker 1: There we go and look at this.
- 12:58Speaker 2: You're holding up a wand oh oh you have snapes wand.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Damn right I do baby, watch out? You know I
- 13:04Speaker 1: know how to do.
- 13:05Speaker 2: It, guys. If you're watching the video version here, there's
- 13:09Speaker 2: some treats.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Hey, But honestly, though, so you know how you go
- 13:16Speaker 1: and do the ma Am I getting off the subject
- 13:18Speaker 1: or we just talking? No, we're just talking man, all right? Good?
- 13:21Speaker 1: So you go into Harry Potter World. You know.
- 13:24Speaker 2: So context is is Heath just went to Harry Potter
- 13:27Speaker 2: World with his family.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yes, well, Santa Claus got us four tickets and we
- 13:32Speaker 1: had to go. So it was awesome. But it was
- 13:34Speaker 1: a lot of fun. So we get there and you
- 13:36Speaker 1: know how they do the one ceremony to where you
- 13:39Speaker 1: can get like twenty two people in the room and
- 13:42Speaker 1: in the one gets to pick you next thing. You know,
- 13:44Speaker 1: man Rimy got picked, and she's like, whoa, what me? Okay,
- 13:49Speaker 1: So she gets up there and the dude's talking about
- 13:51Speaker 1: this one and dragon scale and this dragon scale. I'm like, oh, bro,
- 13:56Speaker 1: that's totally up her ally. I mean, I got a
- 13:58Speaker 1: dragon tattoo on me right here, just for her. So
- 14:01Speaker 1: it's like I'm like, bro, this is that's her Wand
- 14:04Speaker 1: and then the dude's like, no, I don't think it's
- 14:06Speaker 1: this one, because he's like, here, try this out. Ring
- 14:08Speaker 1: this bell one time. And then she she, you know,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and she hits it, but it's like ding dong ding
- 14:16Speaker 1: ding d every damn thing's going everywhere. They you know,
- 14:20Speaker 1: He's like, whoa, I don't think this is your wand
- 14:22Speaker 1: he picks another one. He gives it to another dragon
- 14:24Speaker 1: scale when you know, and I'm like, oh, yeah, this
- 14:26Speaker 1: is gonna be it. They see, you know, see if
- 14:29Speaker 1: you can turn this light off or something. But she
- 14:31Speaker 1: like knocks over a bookshelf for then she's just like,
- 14:36Speaker 1: oh ship, you know, damn, I didn't mean to do that,
- 14:39Speaker 1: you know. And she's like really filling this. And then
- 14:42Speaker 1: this is the best part is that he gets like,
- 14:44Speaker 1: I don't think that's yours. So he gets there another one,
- 14:47Speaker 1: but it's like unicorn hair or something, and I'm like, oh, bro,
- 14:51Speaker 1: this bad pick for her. She hates some damn unicorns
- 14:56Speaker 1: they see. Next thing, you know, she gets the she
- 15:01Speaker 1: looks up at it and then I forget what he
- 15:03Speaker 1: tells her to do and she does it perfectly, and
- 15:06Speaker 1: then like this, bright lights come on like aliens about
- 15:09Speaker 1: to suck her up from the sky, and this wind
- 15:12Speaker 1: comes this air machine her face throw. I wished I
- 15:15Speaker 1: had it on camera. She just was like, holy shit,
- 15:19Speaker 1: I magic. It was the best, just the memory of it.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Hopefully I don't ever forget it, but man, it was
- 15:28Speaker 1: such a good like, oh man, that was awesome for her,
- 15:32Speaker 1: you know.
- 15:32Speaker 2: And then and then awesome she got picked.
- 15:35Speaker 1: Oh yes, that's that's the cool part about it. And
- 15:38Speaker 1: then the funny thing about it is she got we
- 15:40Speaker 1: get out there and I didn't know. And this is
- 15:43Speaker 1: oblivious to me that like I thought the one ceremony
- 15:47Speaker 1: thing like that you get a wand like, hey, this
- 15:50Speaker 1: kid got chosen. You get a want this thing you know,
- 15:52Speaker 1: you go through it's like, yeah, that one's a hundred
- 15:55Speaker 1: bucks if you want it. I'm just like, what the
- 15:57Speaker 1: ship you what? You know? And I looked at Rimy,
- 16:01Speaker 1: I'm like, baby, you want that one. She was like,
- 16:05Speaker 1: not really, I don't like this one. Yeah, I said,
- 16:08Speaker 1: you know, okay, you know, I said. But her treat
- 16:10Speaker 1: was we're gonna get them both to want, you know,
- 16:12Speaker 1: so that was their treat.
- 16:13Speaker 2: But you want to get the one that you that
- 16:15Speaker 2: you want, not the one.
- 16:17Speaker 1: The one that chose you. Yeah, exactly. That's that's what
- 16:20Speaker 1: with her, like little mindset was.
- 16:22Speaker 2: So that's really cool as a kid because I don't
- 16:25Speaker 2: think I think my daughter would be would have taken
- 16:27Speaker 2: that one that she was given.
- 16:28Speaker 1: But that's what I would have to because I would
- 16:30Speaker 1: be like, nah, man, this ship chose me. Powers here,
- 16:34Speaker 1: you know, I might be able to kind of somebody
- 16:38Speaker 1: you know. So. But but what got me is that
- 16:41Speaker 1: my little girl goes. I'm like, baby, pick out whatever
- 16:44Speaker 1: one you want. You go ahead. She comes back. She
- 16:48Speaker 1: comes back with this one.
- 16:51Speaker 2: The skull no.
- 16:55Speaker 1: Death eater man. So I said, you know what, this
- 17:02Speaker 1: is exactly suits you perfectly because I would have picked
- 17:06Speaker 1: the same damn one. You know. The man, it's like
- 17:09Speaker 1: she's just going around the windows and doing all this stuff,
- 17:12Speaker 1: you know, and everything. This is a few of them.
- 17:15Speaker 1: If you don't know them to.
- 17:16Speaker 2: See it, right, yeah, you're doing it.
- 17:18Speaker 1: But I know, man, it's all in the wrist. They say,
- 17:21Speaker 1: you don't want to do big magic because it can
- 17:23Speaker 1: affect everybody. You want to do a little magic and
- 17:25Speaker 1: like cite into it. You know. Yes, And there's a
- 17:28Speaker 1: little camera up in the corner. You have to hit
- 17:31Speaker 1: a lot of kids don't know that and they leave unhappy.
- 17:34Speaker 1: You got to go to that camera.
- 17:36Speaker 2: So you nailed it, Okay, all right, oh.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Brother, every time they thought I was damn Harry Potter
- 17:40Speaker 1: in that land.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Okay. Uh so you okay, Now what about the merch.
- 17:50Speaker 2: Now obviously we're a major wrestling for your podcast, we
- 17:52Speaker 2: talk about oh brother, Harry Potter, world is unbelievable. It's immersive, unbelievable.
- 17:59Speaker 2: I think it's better than stars Land, especially diagon Alley.
- 18:02Speaker 2: When you walk in there, you're literally movies in the movie.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Any of the march kind of catch your eye or
- 18:09Speaker 2: blow you away or what.
- 18:11Speaker 1: I don't know, man, I mean what the Conor.
- 18:19Speaker 2: Luther showed us. If you're listening, he's got a headway live.
- 18:23Speaker 2: I think he bought an owl there.
- 18:26Speaker 1: We got two of them. Man, my girls needed them,
- 18:29Speaker 1: and they're right, you're so cute. Hey man, Yeah, I
- 18:35Speaker 1: got a headwig. Man, he can then spin all the way.
- 18:38Speaker 1: Look at that like the Exorcist crazy.
- 18:41Speaker 2: I love that. I didn't even I've never seen that,
- 18:43Speaker 2: but yeah, it's it's.
- 18:43Speaker 1: A puppet in his butt. And then they saying, you know, man,
- 18:48Speaker 1: you can twist his head on this little knob. But yeah, man,
- 18:51Speaker 1: we got headwig too, So this was pretty cool. Both
- 18:54Speaker 1: of my girls ran up and said what oh, and
- 18:57Speaker 1: then they started playing with it, and I was like,
- 19:00Speaker 1: come on, let's get them. Yes, yeah, man, that was
- 19:03Speaker 1: that was a really cool merch. And like I said,
- 19:06Speaker 1: like I my girls enjoy writing and drawing, and these
- 19:09Speaker 1: books are in fabulous condition. Great shape, you know, and
- 19:13Speaker 1: it's really cool, I feel, you know. So yeah, it's
- 19:18Speaker 1: just one of those places if you're a fan, you
- 19:21Speaker 1: gotta go, man, like, I mean, it really brings you
- 19:24Speaker 1: to the movies, you know, and you get to ride
- 19:26Speaker 1: the train the Hogwarts site. What's it called Hardwarts Express? Yeah, yeah,
- 19:30Speaker 1: there you go, like the Midnight Express baby.
- 19:34Speaker 2: Candy shops on the other side, and.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, they got a did you know they got a
- 19:39Speaker 1: damn dragon there, man that breathes fire.
- 19:43Speaker 2: Wait where oh yeah yeah yeah on the top of them. Yes,
- 19:47Speaker 2: believed you miss it. That's one of the best parts.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Yes, brother, beautiful. And what's crazy is that once we
- 19:55Speaker 1: got off the train and we're walking through and I
- 19:57Speaker 1: love the fact how it's like kind of hidden too,
- 19:59Speaker 1: to where you like, if you don't know it's there,
- 20:01Speaker 1: you don't know. It's their type deal, you know, how
- 20:03Speaker 1: you walk through the little hallway and then you're like there,
- 20:05Speaker 1: but man, we're walking in, we're having a good time, like,
- 20:08Speaker 1: oh yeah, let's do this. And then by the time
- 20:11Speaker 1: we walked in, it was just like the fire. I'm like, damn,
- 20:15Speaker 1: that's an entrance, you know.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah that's true.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it was. It was like, I don't know,
- 20:20Speaker 1: just the timing of when we did it was just
- 20:21Speaker 1: perfect and then it goes off like every thirty minutes
- 20:24Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, yeah, it was really cool.
- 20:27Speaker 2: That's cool. You guys got Pyro on your entrance for him, right,
- 20:30Speaker 2: we did hell first time ever?
- 20:31Speaker 1: Yeah, by damn dragon? Who else can they say had
- 20:36Speaker 1: Pyro by dragon? No one had ever damn wrestled in.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Brian doesn't even get that. Okay, he doesn't what they.
- 20:45Speaker 1: Pitched that to him. That might be cool having a
- 20:48Speaker 1: dragon come on the screen and blow fire and it
- 20:50Speaker 1: goes down a little bit and then he comes.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Now has screen fire, but he doesn't have actual fire.
- 20:57Speaker 2: Somebody did say what in the locker room recently that
- 20:59Speaker 2: there should blow the fire and then it comes out
- 21:02Speaker 2: in the pyro like.
- 21:03Speaker 1: That would be cool.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Yeah right, okay, So what character is Heath Slater most like? Like,
- 21:12Speaker 2: or what kind of Heath Slater's in the movie?
- 21:15Speaker 1: Like, what are you doing?
- 21:16Speaker 2: Are you with Voldemort or or you?
- 21:19Speaker 1: Okay, I don't think i'd be with Voldemort, man, he's
- 21:21Speaker 1: an asshole. No, I honestly think that I would be that,
- 21:28Speaker 1: you know in Slytherin, But I wouldn't be an asshole,
- 21:31Speaker 1: you know, or I would be an asshole, but I
- 21:33Speaker 1: wouldn't be maliciously mean, okay, you know, but I feel
- 21:38Speaker 1: like with my attitude and how I am, I like
- 21:40Speaker 1: to have a good time. But then again, if you
- 21:42Speaker 1: cross me, man, I'll smack the shit out of you,
- 21:44Speaker 1: you know. So some one of those things that I
- 21:46Speaker 1: feel like I would be in Slytherin. But then again,
- 21:48Speaker 1: I kind of feel like I could be in Gryffindor too,
- 21:51Speaker 1: maybe like a little mixture, but.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Kind of like Harry Potter, he could have been in both.
- 21:55Speaker 1: That's very true, very true. But I feel like like
- 21:59Speaker 1: I just I don't know, like through the movies and everything,
- 22:02Speaker 1: like Professor Snape was my man like even from the beginning,
- 22:05Speaker 1: I'm like, man, he's an asshole, but I feel like
- 22:07Speaker 1: he has a good heart or something, you know. And
- 22:10Speaker 1: then by the end it was just like, holy crap,
- 22:12Speaker 1: I'm crying, you know what I mean.
- 22:14Speaker 2: If you actually believe that there was good in Snape
- 22:17Speaker 2: and by the end you were redeemed for sure. Spoilers guy, Sorry,
- 22:22Speaker 2: if you haven't seen.
- 22:22Speaker 1: You haven't watched it already. My god, people, where the
- 22:25Speaker 1: hell you been? All right?
- 22:27Speaker 2: Where's Brian fit In. Do you think what character is
- 22:30Speaker 2: he like or what houses he in? What do you
- 22:32Speaker 2: think Brian is in the Harry Potter world?
- 22:33Speaker 1: Brother? I just think he'd be like one of those
- 22:35Speaker 1: loaners in No House, you know.
- 22:38Speaker 2: Okay, okay, maybe he's a Muggle.
- 22:41Speaker 1: He might be a muggle, yeah, you know.
- 22:44Speaker 2: And what about Brian, I mean Matt, Matt.
- 22:47Speaker 1: I think he'd be a hufflepuff.
- 22:48Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, just planting plants nature ship. And then Dylan
- 22:56Speaker 2: was where's Dylan go?
- 22:58Speaker 1: He's slithering to Oh yeah, you're right, Yeah, he's got
- 23:01Speaker 1: the inside right, Yeah, he's an evil goblin totally. Yes, Yes,
- 23:09Speaker 1: we should do a scary movie at Halloween and have characters.
- 23:12Speaker 1: It can be a little gobbling running around eating people's legs.
- 23:15Speaker 2: All right? Do you play video games at all?
- 23:21Speaker 1: Ah? Here and there?
- 23:22Speaker 2: Are you used to?
- 23:23Speaker 1: Yes?
- 23:24Speaker 2: Are you familiar with this new Harry Potter game, Hogwarts Legacy?
- 23:28Speaker 1: Well, what's funny is is that I have been seeing
- 23:30Speaker 1: commercials on it, and at first I thought it might
- 23:33Speaker 1: have been a movie, but then I found out it Yeah,
- 23:35Speaker 1: but then I found out it was a game. But no,
- 23:38Speaker 1: I haven't the only Harry Potter game that I've actually
- 23:41Speaker 1: played is Harry Potter, that lego game because my girls
- 23:44Speaker 1: love it and I'll play it with them.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Oh that's great. It's still good, very fun, still fun. Yeah,
- 23:49Speaker 2: this game. I'm only about two hours in. I think
- 23:52Speaker 2: the game is probably twenty hours, so we still got
- 23:55Speaker 2: a lot to go. But it is awesome and it's
- 23:58Speaker 2: its own story. So it takes place like one hundred
- 24:02Speaker 2: and fifty years before or our one hundred years or
- 24:06Speaker 2: something like that.
- 24:06Speaker 1: Yell, shit, that's still a long time.
- 24:08Speaker 2: So there, like early nineteen hundreds. Yeah, Hogwarts.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah, okay, it's very it's very cool. Their magic
- 24:16Speaker 1: wasn't advanced back then.
- 24:17Speaker 2: Though, magic I think, but the world wasn't.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You know. There you go. It's pretty good setting. Yeah,
- 24:24Speaker 1: I haven't played it.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Now, what what would you do? Heath? Yeah, in the
- 24:30Speaker 2: real world, it's not Harry Potter, but you have now
- 24:34Speaker 2: you have a wand and you have magic. What would
- 24:38Speaker 2: you do?
- 24:39Speaker 1: Brother? Being real? I just want peace with everybody, man, okay,
- 24:43Speaker 1: like being real, like my God. Like it's like it
- 24:47Speaker 1: doesn't matter what you do in this world. It's like
- 24:50Speaker 1: even if you're doing good shit, like people just want
- 24:52Speaker 1: to talk shit. You know to where you're just like,
- 24:55Speaker 1: come on, man, like I'm trying to help people and
- 24:56Speaker 1: you're just trying to put me down for trying to
- 24:58Speaker 1: help people. Type deal. But no, I just peace, man like,
- 25:02Speaker 1: damn be happy, man, enjoy what you got, you know,
- 25:05Speaker 1: open your eyes, see your surroundings. Don't let someone else
- 25:09Speaker 1: influence you to trying to be something that you can't
- 25:12Speaker 1: at the moment. You know, it's just damn this world
- 25:16Speaker 1: peace for one fucking time ever. Sorry sorry for using
- 25:20Speaker 1: that word.
- 25:21Speaker 2: That's great. Perfect. They couldn't have couldn't have had a
- 25:23Speaker 2: better answer, all right, this one's kind of deep. Might
- 25:27Speaker 2: be getting a little political, okay, but oh god, I
- 25:31Speaker 2: know you're a religious guy. Religious groups say the Harry
- 25:35Speaker 2: Potter books are dangerous as they promote witchcraft among children.
- 25:38Speaker 2: What do you think of this?
- 25:40Speaker 1: Well, I think a lot of religious groups take it
- 25:45Speaker 1: too far, too right, I mean being real. I mean
- 25:48Speaker 1: I grew up Southern Baptists, and I thought I was
- 25:51Speaker 1: going to hell before I even knew Jesus, you know
- 25:53Speaker 1: what I mean. So it's just that you just don't know, man,
- 25:58Speaker 1: You just really don't know. And I mean some people,
- 26:01Speaker 1: it's probably one person that said, Oh, they're doing witchcraft.
- 26:05Speaker 1: That's the devil, you know, but it's not. You know,
- 26:08Speaker 1: they got some good meanings in there, and like they
- 26:11Speaker 1: help people. Like if they would watch the movie or
- 26:13Speaker 1: maybe read a book, they might understand. But all they
- 26:16Speaker 1: see is the kids going around shooting once and they're like, ah,
- 26:20Speaker 1: it's devil magic, you know, but they don't understand. It's like,
- 26:24Speaker 1: if you don't understand something, you don't need to talk
- 26:27Speaker 1: shit to you at least know a little bit about it,
- 26:31Speaker 1: you know.
- 26:31Speaker 2: And that preach man, It's like that's like people talk
- 26:34Speaker 2: about wrestling. You never watch wrestling in their lives.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Tell me about it, dude. I was on the internet,
- 26:40Speaker 1: me and Eddie Edwards. We had a good little match
- 26:42Speaker 1: the other day and this one shithead on the internet
- 26:45Speaker 1: was like, stop plugging at the ref counting, you know,
- 26:49Speaker 1: and I'm just like, brother, my head's facing that way anyway,
- 26:51Speaker 1: so I'm gonna at least look till my shoulders can
- 26:54Speaker 1: get up. It's like, how many times you have a match, shithead? Yeah?
- 26:58Speaker 2: You know, yes, exactly, they.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You know what I mean. Like, it's just one of
- 27:03Speaker 1: those things. Everyone's gonna have opinion about something. You can't please.
- 27:08Speaker 1: That's why I want world peace. Give me this damn
- 27:10Speaker 1: snape one.
- 27:15Speaker 2: Yes, all right, last Harry Potter related question. All right, now,
- 27:20Speaker 2: you're a movie guy, not a book guy. But the
- 27:22Speaker 2: question is do you think JK. Rowling should write an
- 27:24Speaker 2: eighth Potter book or for you should there be in
- 27:29Speaker 2: would you be happy to have an eighth movie continuation
- 27:32Speaker 2: of the story at whatever point?
- 27:35Speaker 1: I feel like it's good where it left off. You
- 27:38Speaker 1: feel like it. I feel like it's great. And I
- 27:41Speaker 1: feel like even if like people always want more, I
- 27:45Speaker 1: want more, more and more and more, please more. But
- 27:48Speaker 1: when they get more, it's not always good. It's not
- 27:51Speaker 1: always the best. Sometimes you just got to leave shit
- 27:54Speaker 1: where it lays, man, you know. And I feel like
- 27:56Speaker 1: with what they I mean, my god, they got two
- 27:59Speaker 1: parts in Universe rust Man, they're big enough. They're huge.
- 28:02Speaker 1: They set their mark like watch the movies over.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Again, you know, like they're so totally rewatchable.
- 28:09Speaker 1: They're beautiful. I am literally rewatching the whole Walking Dead,
- 28:13Speaker 1: damn seasons of to eleven. Yeah, and every I do
- 28:18Speaker 1: hour Cardio, and that's an episode, bam, every day, bam
- 28:22Speaker 1: Cardio watching the Walking Dead and then that's I'm rewatching
- 28:26Speaker 1: it because I love the ship, you know, rewatch it.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Man, what what is your cardio? What do you do
- 28:31Speaker 2: you running or you're walking up hill? Or what is
- 28:33Speaker 2: your car?
- 28:33Speaker 1: Both? Both? Like I'll get on the treadmill and I
- 28:36Speaker 1: literally set it at like an eight inch inclim at
- 28:38Speaker 1: like three six and I'll do that for a while,
- 28:42Speaker 1: and then I'll set it down flat and do like
- 28:44Speaker 1: a seven miles per hour sprint, you know, for a minute,
- 28:47Speaker 1: and then after that I'll set it back walk up
- 28:49Speaker 1: hill like it's like, you know, little variations. Or I'll
- 28:54Speaker 1: do the stairsteper. But man, that shit kicks my ass. Man,
- 28:58Speaker 1: But but I do it, you know, not too long,
- 29:01Speaker 1: but I do it. But other than that, man, I
- 29:03Speaker 1: do about an hour of that to watch an episode,
- 29:05Speaker 1: and then I go and hit a body part.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Right, Okay, sorry, So back to Harry Potter. So yeah,
- 29:09Speaker 2: I agree with you. I I think that they did
- 29:13Speaker 2: a really good job building the world. Right, there's so
- 29:15Speaker 2: many like, yes, this fucking animal, who is this character?
- 29:17Speaker 2: What is this book? I think that there is room
- 29:20Speaker 2: to create more Harry Potter content, but I don't necessarily
- 29:24Speaker 2: want a continuation of the Harry Potter story.
- 29:29Speaker 1: I get you nailed that there can like you know,
- 29:31Speaker 1: how what was it geography or whatever? You have the
- 29:36Speaker 1: bubble and it says Harry Potter, and then you can
- 29:38Speaker 1: draw the lines out and it's like you know, you know,
- 29:41Speaker 1: and you can expand. You can't expand, but don't you
- 29:46Speaker 1: can't mess with the original product. I agree expand if
- 29:51Speaker 1: you like to, of course, but don't mess with the original. Man.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I feel like it's perfect how it is. Leave it alone.
- 29:58Speaker 1: But if you want to exp I mean, what could
- 30:00Speaker 1: be cool was maybe, you know, Harry Potter and Weasley's
- 30:04Speaker 1: and all that stuff, they all have kids and then
- 30:06Speaker 1: it comes back to where Harry's like a professor now
- 30:10Speaker 1: you know, and that could be No.
- 30:15Speaker 2: There's a play, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and
- 30:20Speaker 2: it is it's set years later and it's Harry Potter's children. Okay,
- 30:25Speaker 2: literally a Broadway.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Play beautiful and me and my wife loves Broadway plays. Man,
- 30:30Speaker 1: it watched.
- 30:31Speaker 2: It's two parts. Okay, I can buy tickets to both,
- 30:34Speaker 2: but it's literally like all day I did you would
- 30:37Speaker 2: love the I did go see it's worth seeing. The
- 30:40Speaker 2: reviews are not great. I enjoyed it. It's worth it's
- 30:45Speaker 2: worth doing it. You guys should I would.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I would totally watch it. That's a fact.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, all right, so let's uh, let's move on here,
- 30:54Speaker 2: uh to segment two. Unless you got anything else to
- 30:56Speaker 2: add here over the Harry Potter World.
- 30:58Speaker 1: I just got a pee.
- 30:59Speaker 2: If you have to, uh, sure you can piece while
- 31:01Speaker 2: we while we move on to the next segment. He
- 31:05Speaker 2: reads a list. All right, here we go.
- 31:10Speaker 1: This on my second episode. We're back on my second episode.
- 31:16Speaker 1: It just lit up and I looked over and I said,
- 31:19Speaker 1: what the hell?
- 31:20Speaker 2: I just I did not send him the list in advance, guys.
- 31:22Speaker 2: I don't want him to practice.
- 31:24Speaker 1: Okay, hey, guys, I promise you when he says this ship,
- 31:27Speaker 1: I don't get this until we record period. And it
- 31:31Speaker 1: like I literally sat down because I had the Wei
- 31:33Speaker 1: Wei and I look over my damn screen just lights
- 31:37Speaker 1: up and all you see is like first four names
- 31:40Speaker 1: and I can't pronounce any of them.
- 31:42Speaker 2: All right, But this was Joe Hirsky's idea. He wrote
- 31:45Speaker 2: it in the Facebook group. I thought, that's had a
- 31:46Speaker 2: great idea. We're talking to out of this Joe Hirsky,
- 31:49Speaker 2: he's a Facebook.
- 31:50Speaker 1: Guy, joke my ass man, so he thinks, and I agree.
- 31:55Speaker 1: It wasn't funny. I was joking.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Now anyway, go ahead and get your ask. It's Potter
- 32:00Speaker 2: week here and he's happy hours, so he's gonna read
- 32:02Speaker 2: the top ten Harry Potter spells.
- 32:07Speaker 1: Oh boy, all right, he take it away, man, yo,
- 32:13Speaker 1: hold on, let me put my code in. Okay, ship,
- 32:17Speaker 1: let me get.
- 32:17Speaker 2: My wand yes, you know, guys, if you're not watching,
- 32:21Speaker 2: come on.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Come moment. I'm almost use my my damn death eater.
- 32:25Speaker 1: One okay shit, Number one o yo.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Number two, shuld I go from ten.
- 32:41Speaker 2: Up Now that I think you're you're doing it good,
- 32:43Speaker 2: all right.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Number two, Hello home Morio.
- 32:51Speaker 2: First one was achioh by the way. Second one was
- 32:53Speaker 2: aloha mora.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Okay, hello, that's what I said.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Number three Vedakenderaveria.
- 33:04Speaker 2: That's about a cadavra. That's the death one. That's the
- 33:07Speaker 2: killing spell.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Well see, I don't want to kill nobody, man, I
- 33:10Speaker 1: just want to injure them, all right.
- 33:13Speaker 3: Number four Crucusio.
- 33:16Speaker 2: That's crucio. That's the injury spell.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I like to injure people, but I don't want to
- 33:21Speaker 1: kill them.
- 33:21Speaker 2: You know.
- 33:22Speaker 3: There you go, expeto patronum.
- 33:27Speaker 2: Come on, you know that one? No expect no patronum.
- 33:30Speaker 2: No expect no patronum.
- 33:32Speaker 1: What's that one?
- 33:34Speaker 2: That's the one, you know, like in the movies when
- 33:36Speaker 2: they they shot up their animal. Yes, nailed it. Okay,
- 33:40Speaker 2: there we go.
- 33:42Speaker 3: Number six experiamo soul expelling armis.
- 33:50Speaker 1: Number seven incindio.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Oh, nailed it.
- 33:53Speaker 1: Nail right that one. Number eight loomis nice.
- 34:00Speaker 2: Got that one.
- 34:01Speaker 4: Number nine, Number nine belve no ship I lift?
- 34:21Speaker 2: Oh my god?
- 34:23Speaker 1: Is that is that almost right? No?
- 34:24Speaker 2: Obliviate oblivia ship. Yes, man, you got.
- 34:29Speaker 1: Me thinking it's actually a real word. I'm an idiot,
- 34:34Speaker 1: all right. Number ten.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Sectrum simpra.
- 34:40Speaker 2: I think I think you got that one.
- 34:43Speaker 1: I think I did too.
- 34:44Speaker 2: And then the bonus This is famous from the movie.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Man, Oh, we're the grandam ni bressto.
- 34:51Speaker 2: No, my godda when God sa yo.
- 34:55Speaker 3: Where the godamsa?
- 34:58Speaker 1: It's my accent?
- 34:59Speaker 2: Man, Oh he he did not disappoint val.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Oh man, you got me crying. I'm laughing on my
- 35:08Speaker 1: damn self too much here.
- 35:09Speaker 2: All right, that was great?
- 35:10Speaker 1: All right, let's go on, hold on, who Brian Joe Hursky, Oh,
- 35:15Speaker 1: Joe Joe good idea. Man, What the hell? All right?
- 35:21Speaker 2: Final segment of the show.
- 35:23Speaker 1: Yeah, baby life advice, all right, Heath, These are real questions, right,
- 35:31Speaker 1: real questions from the Facebook group. All right.
- 35:34Speaker 2: Eric Jeoffrey says, one time in college West Virginia University,
- 35:37Speaker 2: I was trying to get together with a girl and
- 35:39Speaker 2: she was from the southern part of the state. She said,
- 35:43Speaker 2: the only thing we're known for is Jesco White and
- 35:46Speaker 2: Heath Slater. Me, being a fan of wrestling, knew immediately
- 35:50Speaker 2: who she was talking about, so that really got me
- 35:53Speaker 2: over with her. I've always wanted to thank him for
- 35:55Speaker 2: indirectly helping me make that happen. Much love, Heath. That's
- 35:58Speaker 2: not advice. I just wanted to read that because it's
- 36:00Speaker 2: a great story.
- 36:02Speaker 1: N brother. Hell yeah, Oh yeah. I wonder if they're
- 36:05Speaker 1: still together?
- 36:06Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Eric, are you guys still together? Is that
- 36:08Speaker 2: your wife?
- 36:09Speaker 1: I would say that would be kind of cool, But
- 36:11Speaker 1: then again, it might have just made a memory, you know,
- 36:14Speaker 1: a nice, nice little memory. Jesco White, Man, I don't
- 36:19Speaker 1: even know who that is. All Right. There's a movie
- 36:22Speaker 1: that I don't even want to say, okay, but if
- 36:26Speaker 1: you ever want to watch it, it's entertaining in the
- 36:28Speaker 1: worst ways possible. But it's called the wild and wonderful
- 36:33Speaker 1: Whites of West Virginia. And brother, woo wie oh man,
- 36:39Speaker 1: and I mean and I mean wooe.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 36:43Speaker 1: And what's funny is that my grandfather back in the
- 36:47Speaker 1: day love bluegrass music. Ralph Stanley used to come to
- 36:52Speaker 1: town and all this stuff. And I remember, as like
- 36:54Speaker 1: a seven year old kid being in a lawn chair
- 36:57Speaker 1: with my grandfather watching Jessico White have a refrigerator boxed down,
- 37:02Speaker 1: tap dancing on that Bitch's not kidding, just sitting in her.
- 37:11Speaker 1: That's all you would. That's all I remember hearing man
- 37:13Speaker 1: and him just right right, just tap dancing his damn
- 37:18Speaker 1: ass away man.
- 37:19Speaker 2: All right, so that's who just go a wait is guys? Yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 2: all right. I picked this question because I need the
- 37:26Speaker 2: answer to this too, all right, And I think that
- 37:30Speaker 2: you might be a good person to ask. Mark Better says, recently,
- 37:33Speaker 2: I've been traveling for long stretches of time by myself.
- 37:36Speaker 2: How do you prepare for a long trips packing food, laundry,
- 37:39Speaker 2: and most importantly, staying connected with family?
- 37:44Speaker 1: Brother, Okay, well, I ain't gonna lie I travel long trips,
- 37:49Speaker 1: and I was away from the family a lot of
- 37:50Speaker 1: my life. The good thing about now is that you
- 37:53Speaker 1: have FaceTime. You can always call, video chat whatever, like FaceTime.
- 37:59Speaker 1: The media is a life saver with my babies because
- 38:02Speaker 1: like I'll FaceTime and just walking around the arenas talking
- 38:04Speaker 1: to them, letting them talk to other people. Just it's
- 38:07Speaker 1: just a cool thing to keep them involved when they're
- 38:10Speaker 1: not around, you know. But man, these long trips and
- 38:14Speaker 1: all these like packing for food and all that stuff.
- 38:17Speaker 1: It's either you can pack for food or you can
- 38:19Speaker 1: literally stop at like the waffle house or a wah
- 38:23Speaker 1: wah or sheets or something, because like if you're traveling
- 38:26Speaker 1: late and everything, not much stuff's open. I mean we
- 38:31Speaker 1: all made like a living off a gas station beef
- 38:34Speaker 1: jerky and nuts for a long time, you know, like
- 38:36Speaker 1: protein bars and all that. But no, man, like, just
- 38:39Speaker 1: I feel like nowadays, you know, if it's one of
- 38:42Speaker 1: those things, it's like you have to find your niche
- 38:44Speaker 1: and what you're comfortable with and how you like to
- 38:48Speaker 1: you know, do your life and the way you want
- 38:50Speaker 1: to do it that can suit you. I said. But
- 38:52Speaker 1: all in all, man like, when it comes to all
- 38:54Speaker 1: of that, like you got to find your way because
- 38:57Speaker 1: like we all had to. But I feel like, you know,
- 39:00Speaker 1: with with the traveling and all that stuff, like being
- 39:03Speaker 1: away from the family, it sucks. But at least you
- 39:06Speaker 1: can still stay connected through you know, video chat and
- 39:11Speaker 1: text message and calling, so that's a plus. But when
- 39:13Speaker 1: it comes to food and eating, man, like I said, like,
- 39:17Speaker 1: if you if you want to do those pre prep meals,
- 39:21Speaker 1: I think Myers and all them got that. But then again,
- 39:23Speaker 1: you got to keep them cold as hell, you know,
- 39:25Speaker 1: the whole way. So you got to at least have like
- 39:26Speaker 1: a cooler with you the whole time, right, But then again,
- 39:30Speaker 1: waffle house is cheap, man, and it's lovely love waffle house.
- 39:34Speaker 2: Oh me too, Yeah, oh yeah, I used to. I
- 39:38Speaker 2: was traveling to like I would bring my food for Tuesdays,
- 39:40Speaker 2: but Wednesday, you know morning, I'd have to find my
- 39:43Speaker 2: breakfast and then you get catering and then you're home. Really,
- 39:45Speaker 2: but that's only the bit of the one day trip.
- 39:47Speaker 2: When you do the day trips, you can't. Sometimes some
- 39:50Speaker 2: of the guys have the meals delivered to the hotel.
- 39:53Speaker 1: Yeah that's true. I mean, if you want to go
- 39:55Speaker 1: to the extreme and do that, yes, but if you
- 39:58Speaker 1: can get vibe doing what you know works for you,
- 40:02Speaker 1: that works too. You know, you just got to find
- 40:04Speaker 1: your niche. That's just what it is. And it takes time.
- 40:06Speaker 1: I mean, my god, it takes time for everything.
- 40:09Speaker 2: The phone call thing is. You know, obviously I do
- 40:12Speaker 2: the facetiming.
- 40:15Speaker 1: That's the only way to do in a day me
- 40:19Speaker 1: at home. Yeah, just consistent, Yeah.
- 40:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I usually and sometimes on a Wednesday, like I
- 40:26Speaker 2: really only get that bedtime FaceTime. My daughter's at school
- 40:29Speaker 2: all day and then you know, I'm usually busy around
- 40:31Speaker 2: the four, five, six, and then I do a bedtime call.
- 40:35Speaker 1: And just remember though, I mean, even whenever you're taking
- 40:38Speaker 1: a piss, taking the ship, you can just FaceTime them
- 40:42Speaker 1: have two minutes, and then two minutes means a lot.
- 40:45Speaker 1: I FaceTime my girls shipping. They didn't know, but I did,
- 40:48Speaker 1: you know, you know what I mean. The one I'm
- 40:51Speaker 1: saying is that that little bit of time counts for
- 40:54Speaker 1: a lot. Like when I when we grew up, we
- 40:56Speaker 1: didn't have that ship, Like, we had a call from payphones.
- 40:58Speaker 1: And when once we got sell phones, it was when
- 41:00Speaker 1: we were in you know, college, you know, so my gut,
- 41:05Speaker 1: you know, so I don't know, man, So you got
- 41:08Speaker 1: you gotta find You got to find that balance. Balance
- 41:12Speaker 1: is key. It took me a while to learn that too,
- 41:14Speaker 1: man Like it took me a long time to learn
- 41:16Speaker 1: balance was key. But once you find that balance, man,
- 41:19Speaker 1: your life gets easier. I feel great.
- 41:21Speaker 2: Advice, all right, Johnny A. Spinoza says, what's the best
- 41:25Speaker 2: motivation you can give to a person who's feeling a
- 41:27Speaker 2: little down on themselves?
- 41:30Speaker 1: Don't quit, man, Just I can tell you, for like
- 41:35Speaker 1: a fact, every time I've wanted to quit, and I
- 41:38Speaker 1: would push and push and push and push and go
- 41:41Speaker 1: and go and go, and just kept hitting walls, I
- 41:45Speaker 1: wouldn't quit and kept going and then it would pay off.
- 41:48Speaker 1: But you always have that doubt. You always have that
- 41:52Speaker 1: you know, uh, that that low self esteem. But once
- 41:57Speaker 1: you get your goal that you set, it's the most
- 42:01Speaker 1: rewarding thing you can get, you know, So others, just
- 42:05Speaker 1: don't stop at whatever you're trying to achieve and go
- 42:08Speaker 1: for because dude, failure is just going to happen. But
- 42:13Speaker 1: you get stronger, you grow from it, and you learn, man.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Great man, awesome, all right, Heath, what do we think about?
- 42:24Speaker 2: What do we think about? Month two here.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Shit, I don't know that people's going to tell him.
- 42:30Speaker 2: Baby, let us know. Let us know what you think.
- 42:33Speaker 2: What if you if you think of a long form topic, Guys,
- 42:36Speaker 2: give us some ideas. I did put I put up
- 42:40Speaker 2: you know, I put up a poll and I wanted
- 42:43Speaker 2: to keep it like very vague. But you have to
- 42:46Speaker 2: put one. So I put MCU and Harry Potter. But
- 42:48Speaker 2: Harry Potter was the pick. Some people picked other things.
- 42:51Speaker 2: But let us know if you have a long form
- 42:54Speaker 2: idea to talk about in the beginning of the podcast.
- 42:56Speaker 2: We could talk about his career. We could talk about wrestling,
- 42:58Speaker 2: about three m B. We could talk about Marvel, we
- 43:00Speaker 2: could talk about.
- 43:02Speaker 1: We can talk about damn any damn thing you guys want.
- 43:05Speaker 1: I'm dead serious about this. Like I said, I'm learning
- 43:08Speaker 1: as we go. I mean, of course, you know smart
- 43:11Speaker 1: Mark here, he's a pro at this ship. He's holding
- 43:13Speaker 1: my hand. But honestly, man, if y'all want to hear
- 43:16Speaker 1: some ship, talk to me, man, put it out there.
- 43:19Speaker 1: Let's let's let's have some fun with this.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Love it all right, close us out, pal my goodness.
- 43:25Speaker 1: I don't like closing us out every week because it's
- 43:27Speaker 1: it's nerve wracking. You put me on the spot and
- 43:29Speaker 1: I'll get nervous and start sweating my arm pits, you
- 43:32Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But everybody, if you enjoy today's show,
- 43:37Speaker 1: thank you for tuning in. And and this is when
- 43:49Speaker 1: you hit my music and the pire row, the fireworks
- 43:52Speaker 1: and all that cool shit.
- 43:53Speaker 2: Right, that's great.
- 43:56Speaker 1: Better I better have fireworks this time, dammit.
- 43:58Speaker 2: All right, hey, tim Timmy, my brother Timbo Tim.
- 44:03Speaker 1: I need fireworks and some damn good music brand. Come home.
