Transcript
- 0:00Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events,
- 0:10defending biblical Christianity.
- 0:13No topic, off limits.
- 0:16And now, here's your host, David Firazzo.
- 0:19Hey, guys, thank you so much for tuning in for sharing the show.
- 0:23And man, we've got a blessing, great guests today, two guests, so bonus.
- 0:30Mark and Amber Archer are with us.
- 0:32We haven't talked to him on this platform before, but I can't wait to talk about their brand
- 0:36new project called dysphoria.
- 0:39Mark and Amber are a husband and wife filmmaking team, founders of fearless features.
- 0:45Over 30 years of combined production experience, they are in a mission to share the hope of
- 0:50Christ around the world, feature films, documentaries, they do podcasts, books.
- 0:56And I want to dive right into this because guys, this is such an impactful documentary
- 1:01called dysphoria, Mark and Amber Archer.
- 1:05Welcome to World View Matters, great to see you guys.
- 1:10So before we get into dysphoria, which is phenomenal, it is so I really believe Christians
- 1:17need to get this, especially if they've got children or some of our audience, maybe
- 1:22even grandchildren in the government run schools to help them understand what's happening,
- 1:28what they can do about it.
- 1:29But we'll get to that in a minute.
- 1:30I'm looking at a little pamphlet for you guys.
- 1:33And Mark, I'll start with you, your ministry, movies, books, public speaking, podcast partnerships,
- 1:39you go to churches, you work with churches sometimes, and you speak, you show some of
- 1:44the films.
- 1:45How could people get in touch with you and tell us more about that?
- 1:50So they can find us at fearlessfeatures.org, that's our main website.
- 1:57We also have some social media presence, I think, on Facebook, and yeah, but fearlessfeatures.org
- 2:04is the main place and that's where we post our films when they're available.
- 2:11They can stream our first two films there, they can let's do our podcasts there, find
- 2:15links to other podcasting services, order books, DVD copies, movies, things like that.
- 2:22So you guys open to going, traveling, different churches and just showing some of your documentary
- 2:29doing a Q&A, Amber, I'll just toss that to you.
- 2:32Yeah.
- 2:33Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:34We love being able to partner with churches to help expose the things that are happening,
- 2:38especially the churches who are willing to speak about the issues and really take these
- 2:43topics head on because I can tell you, it is increasingly harder as we continue to make
- 2:50these films to expose the darkness and you know, we even opened up dysphoria with have
- 2:56nothing to do with the fruitless needs of darkness, but rather expose them.
- 2:59And it's very, very unfortunate to our nation to see so many churches who are unwilling
- 3:05to talk about the things of the transgender, the LGBTQ, whatever it is.
- 3:10So yes, we love being able to go in and help share the message of hope in Christ and
- 3:16just expose the things that are happening in the world and to our kids.
- 3:21Ephesians 5, 11, man, we could do spend an hour talking about just the problems with
- 3:27a silent church, which has led to a lot of confusion and Christian children falling
- 3:34for some of these delusions and lies.
- 3:36But Mark, I mean, by the way, I've got mine polluters here.
- 3:40I don't know if you guys can see that.
- 3:41I got this.
- 3:42I listened to it or watched it a couple of years ago, Ken Ham is in here, one of our colleagues
- 3:47here at Freedom Project, Alex Newman.
- 3:49And in the new product or program that documentary called dysphoria, Alex Newman is in that one
- 3:55as well.
- 3:56You guys are followers of Freedom Project, he's one of our colleagues here and a friend of
- 4:00mine, Heidi St. John, and you ended with Heidi St. John's declaration there at the end.
- 4:07I just loved the whole documentary.
- 4:10How long did it take for you to put that whole thing together because I know you were working
- 4:14on that for a while.
- 4:15Even the last time we spoke years so ago, maybe two years ago, tell us about the progress.
- 4:21Go ahead, Mark, about dysphoria from concept such an important topic and what kids are
- 4:28dealing with, how you wanted to approach it and put this all together.
- 4:32Yeah, so each one of these usually takes us about 14 months.
- 4:38We started dysphoria, dysphoria really is, it's not meant to be a sequel, but it was a
- 4:45spin off of the mine polluters.
- 4:48So the subject matter first came up when we were doing our last interview that we filmed
- 4:54for the mine polluters with Mary McAllister, who's also in dysphoria.
- 4:59And she referenced the story of January, a little John who is the first story that is presented
- 5:07in dysphoria.
- 5:09So if you watch the mine polluters, she references without getting into specifics, she references
- 5:15January's case.
- 5:18And when we were done with the interview and we turned off the camera and I said, tell
- 5:24us more about that case that you were just talking about.
- 5:28So there's off camera discussion and just for my part, that's when the title of the film
- 5:35kind of hit me and I thought, okay, dysphoria, that's the next story.
- 5:40So you just, you start pulling on threads, right?
- 5:42You find a story and you go, well, I want to know more about that.
- 5:45And we started finding more and more and you develop the storylines as you go and the
- 5:51kind of the other people that you need to talk to.
- 5:54This one, we had it, we thought we had it done and then we heard about, Ernie's story.
- 6:03Yes.
- 6:04And so we contacted her, we had her on our podcast.
- 6:09And as as Amber interviewed her and then I was editing the podcast together and I just
- 6:14sat there and like, you've got to be kidding me.
- 6:17And so I remember, I turned around to Amber.
- 6:20I said, call her back up and see if we can get her in the film, you know?
- 6:25So we flew her out to Indiana and added her in and basically did a, did a full re-edit
- 6:32of the film to include her in.
- 6:34So let's just kind of how it goes.
- 6:36You just got to keep asking questions, that's how documentaries are made.
- 6:40That was my next question specifically about Erin Lee.
- 6:44Her story, unfortunately, is not uncommon across the country with parents, particularly
- 6:51Christian parents.
- 6:53And their daughter comes home and says, I'm, I think I'm transgender, wherever.
- 6:58So Amber, speak to us about that and how, just give us some of the bullet points of
- 7:03her story and how powerful that is to get this information out there to equip people.
- 7:09But go ahead and share her story and what it does is on your heart.
- 7:13Yeah, like Erin, she shares in the film, you know, it's so fascinating talking to her
- 7:18and interviewing her.
- 7:19And like she said, she goes, I was basically a sleepwalking parent, you know, not understanding
- 7:23what was really happening at the school.
- 7:24So many of us, we entrust the schools with our children that they have the best interest
- 7:28in mind when we drop them off at school.
- 7:31And unfortunately, there has been just such radical organizations who have infiltrated
- 7:36the schools.
- 7:37And so her daughter, who at the time was, was she 11 or 12, I can't remember, young,
- 7:43young, you know, 11, because I remember her saying her barely 12, 12 year old pubescent
- 7:48body.
- 7:49Anyway, she gets invited to an after school art club by her teacher.
- 7:54Well, they bring in an activist from the organ, from the community.
- 7:59And they talk to all these kids about transgenderism being transgender and, you know, you're,
- 8:05you're feeling that way because you're transgender because you're uncomfortable in your body.
- 8:08And here's a flag that's going to represent you, you know, and she brings this flag home
- 8:12to her parents and they're devastated.
- 8:15They have no idea what this even is.
- 8:16And she talks to us and linked about, you know, having to go and Google what the flag even
- 8:20means because, you know, what is what is polyamory, you know, what are, what are all these terms
- 8:25that are being used with these kids, these young, these young kids.
- 8:29And so that's really where her story began.
- 8:31And she pulled her daughter out, they pulled her daughter, their daughter out of the public
- 8:36school system to send her to a private education.
- 8:40And the school, the public school is actually wanting to call CPS.
- 8:45And we are seeing that all across the country, the state of Washington, even just past laws
- 8:51that if you don't affirm your child's transgenderism, that they can remove them from the home
- 8:56and they're going to go to the child protective services.
- 9:00So Mark, since we have to condense things, we only have a half hour with you guys, speak
- 9:05to us and parents and grandparents, particularly.
- 9:09And by the way, grandparents watching right now, if your son or daughter has children in
- 9:14the public school, you might have to intervene because parents are not keeping up with this.
- 9:18But Mark, speak to us about the legal ramifications of parental rights and how there's so much
- 9:26confusion.
- 9:27And there's a misunderstanding there about what rights the school has versus what rights
- 9:32the parents have.
- 9:33Go ahead, Mark.
- 9:34Yeah.
- 9:35Well, this is a fallacy that has been pushed very heavily by the schools, by the teachers,
- 9:43and by a lot of activists.
- 9:44And I think it's, in fact, I've seen this.
- 9:49It just in social media discussions where people really believe that when you drop your
- 9:55kid off at school, that the school has authority over the child that usurps the parents rights
- 10:03and that they have some sort of somebody that I saw, they said, they said, the school,
- 10:11that your child becomes a ward of the state while they're in the school system.
- 10:14And it's not true.
- 10:15It is not true on any level, in any state, this is not true.
- 10:21But the school systems have been influenced to believe this and to present this as this
- 10:27is the way it is.
- 10:28And so this is how they bully parents and grandparents to tell them you don't have any right to be involved
- 10:34in this discussion.
- 10:35We can talk to your kids about whatever you, we want to, you're not allowed to know they
- 10:39have it your, this fallacy that your child has a privacy right against you as their parent
- 10:49is another fallacy that's been introduced.
- 10:52And in the film, January Little John's attorney speaks to this and talks about how this has
- 11:01been completely debunked repeatedly by the Supreme Court.
- 11:07It's, it's been ruled on.
- 11:09This is not true at all, but January Little John, that's what they were telling her that
- 11:15the school system we're saying to her, you don't have any right to even know what's
- 11:19going on here because your daughter has a privacy right against you and you're not allowed
- 11:26to know total complete life.
- 11:30So that's what's going on.
- 11:31The schools are now lying to the parents about a lot of things.
- 11:35Yeah.
- 11:36And by the way, let's go back to Erin Lee's story, this art club that her daughter was
- 11:40asked to stay after school for, they brought in someone, but let's go, let's just talk
- 11:46straight here from the top, from the mothership of the U.S. Department of Education and the
- 11:51teachers unions, the National Education Association, I've seen some of the things on their website
- 11:56with the LGBTQ allies and all this and how they are purposely putting this in.
- 12:01I'm not saying every teacher is an activist for the LGBTQ because that's not true, but
- 12:09they're under oftentimes instruction to do this and the curious thing here is we're at
- 12:15a point where they're making arguments for keeping things from the parents and they're
- 12:22getting away with it.
- 12:23I mean, it's just been in the last five years maybe where we've seen more parents, more
- 12:27and more parents show up at school board meetings.
- 12:31Just Amber, I think I'd just love to go to you on this.
- 12:35How can more parents find out about the curriculum, about these clubs, about where this stuff
- 12:41is coming from and is there any option to opt out of this if you're, if you've got Christian
- 12:46kids in the schools?
- 12:48Well, it's absolutely imperative that people are paying attention, are getting involved.
- 12:53I know that we're all busy and and that's what they really, especially the schools nowadays,
- 12:59they are, they're, they're hoping that we're busy and that we're not paying attention.
- 13:02But I mean, being and going to the school board meetings, looking through the curriculum,
- 13:08you know, just being that parent, it's, it's absolutely crucial for you to be involved.
- 13:13I mean, I don't know how, we can't stress enough to people and, you know, fortunately,
- 13:18unfortunately, there, the grant, there are grassroots organizations all across the country
- 13:22that are popping up.
- 13:23You've seen the, the moms groups that are popping up and, you know, get involved with your local
- 13:27grassroots because they are already doing the homework and finding the things that are
- 13:32in your local schools.
- 13:34And so we really tell a lot of people to absolutely start to get involved.
- 13:38You may not agree with leadership, you may not agree with, with, you know, everybody
- 13:42in the group, but at least you can get yourself informed and that, that's first and foremost
- 13:47is getting informed is the first step.
- 13:50Mark and Amber Archer are guests today on World View Matters fearless features dot
- 13:56rg will be right back with a lot more.
- 13:59Today's show is brought to you by Harbinger's Daily, world news, biblically understood,
- 14:05stay informed at Harbinger's Daily dot com.
- 14:16Friends, if you're listening via audio podcast, please help us out by leaving a five star
- 14:21review I've been told that helps the show rise in the rankings of, I guess, popularity
- 14:27and gets out there for the search engines.
- 14:29So thanks for subscribing also worldviewmatters.tv we've got to get right back to Mark and
- 14:33Amber Archer because we've got such a short time with them.
- 14:37You guys, let's go over to Mark for this question.
- 14:41During this process, I think you described it as pulling threads in the next thread and
- 14:44you're getting more information and finding out more people to interview.
- 14:49What part of dysphoria was perhaps surprising or eye opening to you based on the research
- 14:57you did or the people you talked to for the documentary?
- 15:01Well, I think there were a lot of those moments for us.
- 15:06I mean, we talked about hearing Aaron Lee's story.
- 15:10Aaron Lee's story when we found out if you listen to her story and she talks about the
- 15:18one of the women who came into the art club was a self-professed, non-binary, gender,
- 15:28blood witch.
- 15:29Blood witch.
- 15:30Okay.
- 15:31What?
- 15:32And then one of the other people involved in this art club was a guy by the name of Raudi
- 15:38El Masters who was a self-proclaimed vampire.
- 15:41He's not involved in the art club, let me correct you.
- 15:44It was the organization that run the, that came in to speak to the kids.
- 15:48So that string, we started pulling and going, wait, wait, wait, this is what we were talking
- 15:52about, occultism here.
- 15:54And as you look and there was a moment in our research and when we were early on in the
- 15:59production and we stopped and I remember looking at an amber, I said, transgendarism is
- 16:04not the end of this.
- 16:06It's transhumanism.
- 16:08That's what you have to understand.
- 16:10This is just a step on the road to global slavery through transhumanism and as Alex
- 16:16Newman points out the transition from homosexuality to transgendarism is much larger than the step
- 16:29from transgendarism to transhumanism where they start implanting things in your brain
- 16:35and they convince you that you're not really human and you can ascend to live forever
- 16:39by donating your brain to science.
- 16:42I mean, all of this just insanity that they are pushing, that's the end goal and these
- 16:49people like Klaus Schwab and you all know her are they really believe this and they really
- 16:57are part of a death cult.
- 17:01And they want to experiment on the world population, reduce the population.
- 17:08They think that we're all in the way of them owning the planet for themselves.
- 17:13They are absolutely, that was the biggest shock.
- 17:18That's another aspect of this, the globalist push to reduce the population because of course
- 17:24man is the problem and that's why they get their climate change talking points and put
- 17:28all that out there, the environmental extremism.
- 17:31So this at its root, we've talked about this not dysphoria but actually transgendarism,
- 17:38the LGBTQ movement, it's at its root you reject God as creator, there's no male and female
- 17:46so that means whatever anything goes and you go down from there and anything can happen
- 17:52pretty much and that's what a lot of the the globalists are pushing but let's go back
- 17:57to the schools, Amber, as far as parents who can't find out what's happening because the
- 18:06disturbing thing about when I was watching dysphoria was the fact that a lot of parents,
- 18:12they don't know exactly what their kids are being taught.
- 18:15One of their parents, the daughter brought home a page, I think it might have been from
- 18:21the art club or something but not all kids do that.
- 18:25They're not often given handouts or something that they can take home so can you speak to
- 18:31us about what parents can kind of look out for, how can they really be in touch if their
- 18:37children or their kids are not bringing the stuff home and telling them what's going
- 18:40on.
- 18:41Well, I think it really starts, the foundation starts at home and you really have to have
- 18:45those good, healthy relationships with your children and not only with your children
- 18:51but you also have to talk to them in an age appropriate manner of what to look out for.
- 18:58I mean, just because they're going to, you're kids are basically on the front line, you
- 19:03send them into public school and they're in there fighting a war and we should be the ones
- 19:09who are actually the ones fighting the war and protecting them and so it's hard to
- 19:16say, everybody's life is different, everybody's circumstances are different.
- 19:19The only thing that I can tell people is just to absolutely be informed and you just,
- 19:24you have to be, you have to be engaged, you have to be protecting your children and especially
- 19:30your family first.
- 19:31And you have to be constantly inoculating them with the word of the word absolutely.
- 19:37You have to have that, you have to model that for them and be talking to them in terms
- 19:43of this is what you heard now what is the word of the Lord's say and that is the
- 19:49spiritual inoculation that you can provide for them.
- 19:54Yes, starting with the word of God, Mark, please continue on this point that they, meaning
- 19:59the left, the activists, the demonically driven, whatever teachers or whoever the activists
- 20:06are trying to reach kids, the drag queens, oh my goodness, what would our great grandparents
- 20:11think about all this that this whole thing is happening right now, they would, they would
- 20:14be shocked to just see what's going on in the public square.
- 20:18But they're reaching young children at younger and younger and younger ages.
- 20:24So parents who wouldn't have even planned to talk to their children about sexuality or
- 20:30about some of these things for another five or eight years, Mark, they've got to talk
- 20:36to them a lot, either you pull them out of the public schools or you've got to really
- 20:40start young.
- 20:41Can you speak to that point, please?
- 20:44Yeah, all you have to do is go back, pick up a copy of a book or just do an internet
- 20:48search for the 45 Communist goals.
- 20:51And when you read the Communist goals that were read into the US congressional record
- 20:56in 1963, then you see point by point why they are doing what they are doing.
- 21:03And one of those points is to destroy the nuclear family.
- 21:07And so what happens when, you know, a 10 year old comes home and says,
- 21:13Mommy, I think I'm a girl and then he's a little boy.
- 21:16This immediately starts to shred that family.
- 21:19They've already, they've already accomplished so much of it.
- 21:22But you know, we've got no fault divorce and we've got pornography running rampant,
- 21:26which destroys sexuality.
- 21:29And so that is at its core.
- 21:32Communism, Marxism is demonic.
- 21:35It's satanic at its very essence.
- 21:38And this has been their plan for a hundred years and they are really,
- 21:43really close to having completed their plan to destroy Western civilization from
- 21:49with it, to make it rot from within.
- 21:52And that's what this is really all about.
- 21:55Thank you.
- 21:55And the documentary dysphoria you did share many of those goals and you can put a
- 22:00check mark after every one of them.
- 22:02There's a point that the father in dysphoria who lost, I think custody of his son.
- 22:10He treated him like a boy when he had him and when the mother had him,
- 22:14she treated him like a girl.
- 22:16I believe she was a, was she a pediatrician?
- 22:20Yes.
- 22:20And the point being that she really believed this.
- 22:25So can you talk to us about that?
- 22:28Well, sure, all of the universities,
- 22:31when you think about how teachers and, you know,
- 22:35all the professional fields are being educated.
- 22:37They're being educated to believe that this nurture over nature, you know?
- 22:43And so that you can be anybody you want.
- 22:45And it's, it's very, very tragic and sad to see so many good professionals
- 22:52who have fallen into this trap and are believing the lies.
- 22:55Yes.
- 22:55And that's the thing truth, truth is really in the crosshairs,
- 22:58as Heidi St. John says, even in the film.
- 23:01And, and we know that because, especially for us,
- 23:04being in the word of God every day and understanding what biblical truth is
- 23:08and what that looks like and, and speaking truth.
- 23:10And that's, that's unfortunately what we see so much of is, when we travel,
- 23:13is we have a very biblically illiterate church and a big sea church.
- 23:18I'm not talking individual churches,
- 23:21but we cannot pass on what we do not possess.
- 23:24And it is imperative for us, all of us, as Christians,
- 23:27to no one understand the word of God so that we can teach it to the next generation
- 23:30because there is, I don't even know how they're going to survive if we don't get involved.
- 23:36We cannot pass on what we do not possess parents.
- 23:39We've got to be ourselves students of the word of God in order to help our children.
- 23:44I mean, I understand a lot of churches across the country, American Christianity,
- 23:48as sad as it is, the saints are not being equipped.
- 23:50And I know you guys could say that from your travels.
- 23:53And you're unfortunately the, not a great number of churches that are willing to address these issues
- 23:59and bring you guys in to talk about this.
- 24:01But friends, I can't recommend dysphoria highly enough.
- 24:05You've got to watch this documentary, you've got to share it, please.
- 24:09Mark, I'll just close with you, we've got a couple minutes left.
- 24:12Just your final words, what's your, your heart telling you to share with Christian parents
- 24:17or grandparents that they're just trying to keep up with some of this.
- 24:23You know, I have, the Lord's really put it on my heart to speak to the man primarily
- 24:29because until the men of God get engaged, starting by getting on your knees
- 24:35and confessing and repenting for ignoring the problems, for being disengaged,
- 24:42for whatever it is that the Lord is speaking to you about.
- 24:46A godly father is the beginning of this.
- 24:49You have to have an, and Satan has compromised a whole generation through pornography
- 24:56and now through this nonsense and it's, it's just one thing after another.
- 25:01So what I tell parents, but especially fathers is it is incumbent upon you as a man before the Lord
- 25:11to repent and to live as if your family's life depends on your actions every day
- 25:19because it does.
- 25:22And you are given the, the lead of your family by the Lord, you need to take that seriously.
- 25:29And I know a lot of people watching probably have regret, not everybody,
- 25:33but a lot of people have regret with something they did not do for their kids or friends.
- 25:38There's still time you can still, you know, do something now.
- 25:42I think of Dietrich Bonhoff who said silence in the face of evil is itself evil.
- 25:47What we're seeing in public parks on many streets and these pride parades,
- 25:52this is evil in our country, in our streets and our communities.
- 25:58And we'll have to have you guys back because I want to ask you so many more questions about dysphoria,
- 26:03but about other people that would say, well, that might be happening in other parts of the country or big cities,
- 26:08but it's not in my kid's school.
- 26:10We know the answer to that, but we'll have to talk about that another time because that's just so naive.
- 26:14But Mark and Amber Archer, I really am thankful for your voice and the work that you're doing.
- 26:19God bless you guys.
- 26:20May he enlarge your territory.
- 26:22And I pray that everyone goes to fearlessfeatures.org and gets ahold of this dysphoria and shares it.
- 26:30Thank you so much for your time today.
- 26:32And God bless you both.
- 26:33Praise God for your, your ministry.
- 26:35Thank you. Thank you, David.
- 26:36Thank you.
