  What's

  happening,

  brother?
• 1:36
  Man,
• 1:36
  it's
• 1:36
  been
• 1:37
  a
• 1:37
  busy
• 1:37
  week
• 1:37
  for

  has

  been
• 1:42

  With

  our

• 1:45
  We're
• 1:45
  going
• 1:45
  to
• 1:45
  see
• 1:45
  a
• 1:45
  lot
• 1:45
  more
• 1:45
  interviews
• 1:46
  and
• 1:46
  stuff
• 1:46
  up
• 1:46
  on
• 1:47
  there,
• 1:47
  but
• 1:47
  having
• 1:47
  fun
• 1:48
  building
• 1:48
  that
• 1:48
  this
• 1:48
  last
• 1:49
  week
• 1:49
  and
• 1:49
  get
• 1:49
  that
• 1:49
  out
• 1:49
  there
• 1:50
  for
• 1:50
  people.
• 1:50
  And
• 1:50
  everybody's
• 1:51
  been
• 1:51
  flocking
• 1:51
  over
• 1:51
  to
• 1:52
  that.
• 1:52
  So
• 1:53
  having
• 1:53
  some
• 1:53
  fun
• 1:53
  this
• 1:53
  week,
• 1:54
  brother.
• 1:54
  Yeah,
• 1:54
  it's
• 1:55
  cool
• 1:55
  to
• 1:55
  watch
• 1:55
  the
• 1:55
  numbers.
• 1:56
  It's
• 1:56
  growing
• 1:56
  quick
• 1:57
  already.
• 1:57
  I'm
• 1:57
  like,
• 1:57
  Whoa,
• 1:59
  that
• 1:59
  was
• 1:59
  two
• 2:00
  yesterday.
• 2:00
  Now
• 2:00
  it's
• 2:01
  52.
• 2:01
  Now
• 2:02
  it's
• 2:02
  102.
• 2:03
  And
• 2:04
  yeah,
• 2:04
  it
• 2:04
  just
• 2:04
  keeps
• 2:05
  going.
• 2:05
  So
• 2:05
  it's
• 2:05
  fun
• 2:06
  to
• 2:06
  watch
• 2:06
  that
• 2:06
  happen.
• 2:06
  And
• 2:07
  that
• 2:07
  one's
• 2:07
  for
• 2:07
  you
• 2:08
  guys
• 2:08
  out
• 2:08
  there
• 2:08
  because
• 2:08
  we
• 2:08
  had
• 2:09
  so
• 2:09
  many.
• 2:09
  I
• 2:09
  was
• 2:09
  talking
• 2:09
  to
• 2:09
  my
• 2:09
  buddy,
• 2:10
  Cam
• 2:10
  Anderson,
• 2:10
  Blacktail
• 2:11
  Studio,
• 2:11
  and
• 2:12
  he
• 2:12
  was
• 2:12
  like,
• 2:12
  you
• 2:13
  got
• 2:13
  like
• 2:13
  almost
• 2:13
  700
• 2:13
  videos
• 2:14
  on
• 2:14
  the
• 2:14
  old
• 2:14
  one,
• 2:15
  but
• 2:15
  they're
• 2:15
  so
• 2:15
  old
• 2:16
  that
• 2:17
  there
• 2:17
  wasn't
• 2:17
  really
• 2:17
  a
• 2:18
  great
• 2:18
  way
• 2:18
  to
• 2:18
  grow
• 2:18
  that
• 2:19
  without
• 2:19
  having
• 2:19
  to
• 2:19
  do
• 2:20
  10
• 2:20
  times
• 2:20
  the
• 2:20
  work.
• 2:21
  So
• 2:22
  time
• 2:22
  to
• 2:22
  start
• 2:22
  out
• 2:22
  with
• 2:22
  our
• 2:23
  new
• 2:23
  channel,
• 2:23
  which
• 2:23
  is
• 2:23
  around
• 2:24
  the
• 2:24
  House
• 2:24
  hq,
• 2:25
  so
• 2:25
  you
• 2:25
  can
• 2:26
  find
• 2:26
  it
• 2:26
  over
• 2:26
  there.
• 2:27
  God
• 2:27
  bless
• 2:27
  algorithms.
• 2:28
  Yeah.
• 2:29
  Every
• 2:30
  time
• 2:30
  they
• 2:30
  change
• 2:30
  it,
• 2:30
  we
• 2:31
  gotta
• 2:31
  change.
• 2:31
  Today
• 2:32
  I
• 2:32
  thought
• 2:32
  we
• 2:33
  would
• 2:33
  tackle
• 2:33
  some
• 2:34
  controversial
• 2:34
  subjects
• 2:35
  since
• 2:36
  we
• 2:36
  touched
• 2:36
  on
• 2:36
  it
• 2:36
  maybe
• 2:37
  just
• 2:37
  a
• 2:37
  little
• 2:37
  bit
• 2:37
  last
• 2:38
  week.
• 2:38
  I
• 2:39
  wanted
• 2:39
  to
• 2:39
  talk
• 2:39
  about
• 2:40
  old
• 2:40
  homes
• 2:41
  and
• 2:41
  how
• 2:41
  people
• 2:42
  will
• 2:42
  say.
• 2:42
  Some
• 2:42
  people
• 2:43
  will
• 2:43
  say,
• 2:43
  they
• 2:44
  sure
• 2:44
  don't
• 2:44
  build
• 2:45
  them
• 2:45
  like
• 2:45
  they
• 2:45
  used
• 2:45
  to.
• 2:46
  And
• 2:47
  it's
• 2:47
  always
• 2:47
  a
• 2:47
  controversial
• 2:48
  subject.
• 2:48
  So
• 2:48
  I
• 2:48
  thought
• 2:49
  let's
• 2:49
  dive
• 2:49
  into
• 2:49
  it
• 2:50
  because
• 2:51
  in
• 2:51
  full
• 2:51
  honesty,
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  love
• 2:52
  old
• 2:52
  homes.
• 2:53
  They
• 2:53
  look
• 2:53
  beautiful,
• 2:54
  but
• 2:55
  I
• 2:56
  think
• 2:56
  a
• 2:56
  blanket
• 2:57
  statement,
• 2:57
  like
• 2:57
  they
• 2:57
  don't
• 2:57
  build
• 2:58
  them
• 2:58
  like
• 2:58
  they
• 2:58
  used
• 2:58
  to.
• 2:59
  Ah,
• 3:00
  that's
• 3:01
  maybe
• 3:01
  50%
• 3:02
  accurate.
• 3:03
  I
• 3:03
  don't.
• 3:04
  Yeah,
• 3:05
  absolutely.
• 3:05
  But
• 3:06
  here's
• 3:08
  for
• 3:08
  the
• 3:08
  radio
• 3:08
  listener,
• 3:09
  so
• 3:09
  they
• 3:09
  know
• 3:09
  he's
• 3:10
  saying
• 3:10
  all
• 3:10
  this
• 3:10
  and
• 3:11
  looking
• 3:11
  specifically
• 3:12
  and
• 3:12
  very
• 3:12
  directly
• 3:13
  at
• 3:13
  me
• 3:13
  because
• 3:14
  I'm
• 3:14
  one
• 3:14
  of
• 3:14
  those
• 3:15
  guys.
• 3:15
  Yeah.
• 3:17
  So
• 3:17
  here's
• 3:17
  the
• 3:17
  thing,
• 3:17
  here's
• 3:18
  the
• 3:18
  thing.
• 3:18
  Here's
• 3:18
  my
• 3:18
  take.
• 3:19
  Yes.
• 3:19
  Did
• 3:19
  they
• 3:20
  create
• 3:20
  a
• 3:20
  lot
• 3:20
  of
• 3:21
  beautiful
• 3:21
  handcrafted
• 3:22
  woodwork
• 3:23
  did
• 3:23
  they
• 3:23
  do
• 3:23
  all
• 3:24
  this
• 3:24
  beautiful
• 3:24
  plaster
• 3:24
  work
• 3:25
  inside,
• 3:25
  beautiful
• 3:26
  staircases?
• 3:27
  Absolutely.
• 3:28
  But
• 3:28
  they
• 3:28
  also
• 3:28
  did
• 3:29
  a
• 3:29
  lot
• 3:29
  of
• 3:29
  things
• 3:29
  that
• 3:30
  were
• 3:30
  the
• 3:30
  best
• 3:30
  of
• 3:31
  its
• 3:31
  time.
• 3:32
  But
• 3:32
  technology
• 3:33
  has
• 3:33
  come
• 3:34
  so
• 3:34
  far
• 3:34
  along
• 3:35
  the
• 3:35
  way
• 3:36
  that
• 3:37
  our
• 3:37
  homes,
• 3:37
  I
• 3:37
  think
• 3:38
  are
• 3:38
  better
• 3:38
  built
• 3:38
  today
• 3:39
  because
• 3:39
  there's
• 3:40
  an
• 3:40
  engineer
• 3:40
  involved
• 3:41
  than
• 3:42
  they
• 3:42
  did
• 3:42
  back
• 3:42
  then.
• 3:43
  Okay,
• 3:44
  can
• 3:44
  I
• 3:44
  start?
• 3:45
  Yeah.
• 3:46
  First
• 3:46
  of
• 3:46
  all,
• 3:46
  right.
• 3:46
  It's
• 3:47
  57
• 3:47
  Chevy
• 3:48
  versus
• 3:48
  A87
• 3:49
  Metro.
• 3:50
  Geo
• 3:51
  Metro.
• 3:52
  Yeah.
• 3:53
  As
• 3:53
  far
• 3:53
  as
• 3:53
  design
• 3:54
  and
• 3:54
  customization,
• 3:55
  everything
• 3:55
  goes
• 3:56
  right
• 3:56
  now
• 3:57
  these
• 3:57
  postage
• 3:57
  stamps
• 3:58
  come
• 3:58
  out
• 3:58
  and
• 3:58
  they
• 3:58
  build
• 3:58
  100
• 3:59
  of
• 3:59
  them
• 3:59
  in
• 3:59
  one
• 3:59
  neighborhood,
• 4:00
  one
• 4:01
  of
• 4:01
  which
• 4:01
  my
• 4:02
  mother
• 4:02
  had
• 4:02
  built,
• 4:03
  I
• 4:03
  don't
• 4:03
  remember,
• 4:03
  20
• 4:04
  years
• 4:04
  ago
• 4:04
  or
• 4:04
  something.
• 4:05
  That
• 4:05
  whole
• 4:06
  piece
• 4:06
  of
• 4:07
  lakeland
• 4:07
  hills,
• 4:07
  like
• 4:08
  taps
• 4:08
  all
• 4:08
  that
• 4:08
  new
• 4:09
  development.
• 4:09
  Right.
• 4:10
  And
• 4:10
  the
• 4:10
  only
• 4:10
  reason,
• 4:11
  I
• 4:11
  will
• 4:12
  not
• 4:12
  the
• 4:12
  only
• 4:12
  reason,
• 4:13
  there's
• 4:13
  a
• 4:13
  dozen
• 4:13
  reasons,
• 4:14
  but
• 4:14
  I
• 4:15
  will
• 4:15
  say
• 4:15
  those
• 4:16
  homes
• 4:16
  are
• 4:16
  falling
• 4:17
  apart.
• 4:17
  Sidings
• 4:18
  falling
• 4:18
  off
• 4:18
  that.
• 4:19
  Right.
• 4:19
  All
• 4:20
  kinds
• 4:20
  of
• 4:21
  problems
• 4:21
  with
• 4:21
  them
• 4:22
  in
• 4:22
  the
• 4:22
  first
• 4:23
  five
• 4:23
  years.
• 4:24
  Now,
• 4:26
  you
• 4:26
  know
• 4:26
  me,
• 4:26
  dude,
• 4:27
  I've
• 4:27
  dealt
• 4:27
  with
• 4:27
  a
• 4:27
  bunch
• 4:28
  of
• 4:28
  turn
• 4:28
  of
• 4:28
  the
• 4:28
  century
• 4:29
  homes
• 4:29
  and
• 4:30
  restored
• 4:30
  my
• 4:31
  own.
• 4:31
  That
• 4:31
  was
• 4:31
  built
• 4:31
  in
• 4:31
  1890.
• 4:32
  That
• 4:32
  thing
• 4:32
  was
• 4:33
  sitting
• 4:33
  there
• 4:33
  for
• 4:33
  100
• 4:34
  plus
• 4:34
  years.
• 4:36
  Incredible
• 4:37
  how
• 4:39
  toenailing
• 4:40
  and
• 4:40
  sturdy
• 4:40
  lumber
• 4:41
  kept
• 4:41
  that
• 4:42
  thing
• 4:42
  standing
• 4:42
  for
• 4:43
  100
• 4:43
  plus
• 4:43
  years.
• 4:44
  Meanwhile,
• 4:45
  my
• 4:45
  mom's
• 4:45
  brand
• 4:46
  new
• 4:46
  house
• 4:46
  has
• 4:46
  fallen
• 4:47
  apart
• 4:47
  after
• 4:47
  five.
• 4:48
  There
• 4:48
  is
• 4:49
  validity
• 4:50
  to
• 4:50
  the
• 4:51
  claim.
• 4:51
  And
• 4:52
  is
• 4:52
  it
• 4:53
  because
• 4:53
  of
• 4:54
  the
• 4:54
  engineering?
• 4:54
  No,
• 4:55
  probably
• 4:55
  not.
• 4:55
  I
• 4:55
  think
• 4:56
  we
• 4:56
  have
• 4:56
  the
• 4:56
  right
• 4:56
  ideas.
• 4:57
  I
• 4:57
  think
• 4:57
  we're
• 4:57
  doing
• 4:57
  some
• 4:58
  great
• 4:58
  things
• 4:58
  and
• 4:58
  making
• 4:59
  some
• 4:59
  huge
• 5:00
  leaps
• 5:00
  in
• 5:00
  technology,
• 5:01
  especially
• 5:01
  right
• 5:01
  now,
• 5:02
  not
• 5:02
  even
• 5:02
  talking
• 5:02
  about
• 5:02
  the
• 5:03
  90s.
• 5:04
  But
• 5:04
  do
• 5:05
  they
• 5:05
  get
• 5:05
  built?
• 5:05
  Does
• 5:05
  everything
• 5:06
  get
• 5:06
  followed?
• 5:07
  And
• 5:07
  are
• 5:07
  things
• 5:07
  doing
• 5:08
  what
• 5:08
  they're
• 5:08
  supposed
• 5:08
  to
• 5:08
  be
• 5:09
  doing?
• 5:09
  That's
• 5:09
  the
• 5:09
  bigger
• 5:10
  question.
• 5:10
  Right?
• 5:11
  Yeah.
• 5:11
  So
• 5:12
  let
• 5:12
  me
• 5:12
  go
• 5:12
  with
• 5:12
  structure.
• 5:13
  Let's
• 5:13
  just
• 5:13
  start
• 5:13
  with
• 5:13
  structure
• 5:14
  first.
• 5:14
  We
• 5:14
  won't
• 5:14
  get
• 5:14
  into
• 5:15
  the
• 5:15
  windows
• 5:15
  and
• 5:15
  siding
• 5:16
  thing
• 5:16
  just
• 5:16
  yet.
• 5:16
  Let's
• 5:17
  talk
• 5:17
  structure.
• 5:17
  Foundations
• 5:18
  don't
• 5:18
  count.
• 5:19
  Some
• 5:20
  of
• 5:20
  those
• 5:20
  foundations
• 5:20
  were
• 5:21
  rough.
• 5:21
  Right.
• 5:21
  And
• 5:22
  a
• 5:22
  lot
• 5:22
  of
• 5:22
  those
• 5:22
  guys
• 5:22
  were
• 5:23
  mixing
• 5:23
  stuff
• 5:23
  in
• 5:23
  a
• 5:24
  wheelbarrow
• 5:24
  and
• 5:24
  going
• 5:25
  in
• 5:25
  there.
• 5:25
  So
• 5:26
  mine
• 5:26
  didn't
• 5:26
  even
• 5:26
  have
• 5:27
  one
• 5:27
  back
• 5:27
  then.
• 5:27
  And
• 5:27
  now
• 5:28
  isn't
• 5:28
  close.
• 5:28
  No.
• 5:29
  I
• 5:29
  had
• 5:29
  10
• 5:29
  by
• 5:30
  10
• 5:30
  posts
• 5:30
  in
• 5:30
  dirt,
• 5:31
  which
• 5:31
  is.
• 5:32
  Right.
• 5:32
  Okay.
• 5:33
  But
• 5:33
  it's
• 5:34
  100
• 5:34
  years,
• 5:35
  come
• 5:35
  on.
• 5:35
  Oh,
• 5:35
  yeah.
• 5:36
  And
• 5:36
  what
• 5:37
  would
• 5:37
  happen?
• 5:37
  Would
• 5:37
  a
• 5:38
  builder
• 5:38
  show
• 5:38
  up
• 5:38
  out
• 5:38
  there
• 5:39
  with
• 5:39
  his
• 5:39
  set
• 5:39
  of
• 5:39
  canned
• 5:40
  plans
• 5:40
  that
• 5:40
  he
• 5:41
  went
• 5:41
  from
• 5:41
  the
• 5:41
  architect
• 5:42
  from.
• 5:42
  And
• 5:43
  there
• 5:43
  wasn't
• 5:43
  a
• 5:44
  permit
• 5:44
  pulled
• 5:44
  many
• 5:44
  times,
• 5:45
  or
• 5:45
  if
• 5:45
  there
• 5:45
  was,
• 5:45
  it
• 5:46
  was
• 5:46
  just
• 5:46
  very
• 5:46
  basic
• 5:47
  and
• 5:47
  there
• 5:47
  weren't
• 5:48
  building
• 5:48
  codes
• 5:49
  to
• 5:49
  follow.
• 5:49
  It
• 5:50
  was
• 5:50
  just
• 5:50
  like,
• 5:51
  looks
• 5:51
  good.
• 5:52
  You
• 5:52
  pulled
• 5:52
  a
• 5:52
  permit.
• 5:52
  So
• 5:52
  we
• 5:53
  know
• 5:53
  there's
• 5:53
  a
• 5:53
  house
• 5:53
  at
• 5:54
  123
• 5:55
  Anywhere
• 5:55
  Ave.
• 5:56
  Yeah.
• 5:57
  In
• 5:57
  1890.
• 5:58
  I
• 5:58
  don't
• 5:58
  think
• 5:58
  there
• 5:58
  was
• 5:59
  much
• 5:59
  of
• 5:59
  that
• 5:59
  going
• 5:59
  on.
• 5:59
  That
• 6:00
  was
• 6:00
  literally
• 6:00
  one
• 6:00
  of
• 6:01
  the
• 6:01
  first
• 6:01
  streets
• 6:01
  in
• 6:02
  Tacoma.
• 6:03
  Yeah.
• 6:03
  That
• 6:03
  people
• 6:04
  took
• 6:04
  baby
• 6:04
  strollers
• 6:05
  down
• 6:05
  and
• 6:05
  stuff.
• 6:06
  And
• 6:06
  the
• 6:06
  biggest
• 6:07
  lumber
• 6:07
  mill
• 6:07
  was
• 6:08
  like
• 6:08
  two
• 6:08
  blocks
• 6:08
  away
• 6:08
  from
• 6:09
  there.
• 6:09
  Like
• 6:09
  where
• 6:09
  Brent's
• 6:10
  dad's
• 6:10
  house
• 6:10
  used
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  be.
• 6:11
  Homes
• 6:11
  now
• 6:11
  are
• 6:11
  tied
• 6:12
  down
• 6:12
  to
• 6:12
  the
• 6:12
  foundation.
• 6:13
  They've
• 6:14
  got
• 6:14
  shear
• 6:15
  walls.
• 6:15
  You've
• 6:15
  got
• 6:16
  all
• 6:16
  the
• 6:16
  Simpson
• 6:17
  strong
• 6:17
  tie
• 6:18
  clips
• 6:18
  holding
• 6:19
  everything
• 6:19
  together.
• 6:20
  That
• 6:21
  house
• 6:21
  structurally,
• 6:23
  generally
• 6:23
  speaking,
• 6:24
  is
• 6:24
  going
• 6:24
  to
• 6:24
  be
• 6:24
  stronger
• 6:25
  because
• 6:25
  an
• 6:25
  engineered
• 6:25
  look
• 6:26
  at
• 6:26
  it.
• 6:26
  Those
• 6:26
  houses
• 6:27
  50
• 6:28
  plus
• 6:28
  years
• 6:28
  ago
• 6:28
  didn't
• 6:29
  have
• 6:29
  engineers
• 6:30
  looking
• 6:30
  at
• 6:30
  it
• 6:30
  most
• 6:30
  of
• 6:31
  the
• 6:31
  time.
• 6:31
  And
• 6:31
  I'll
• 6:31
  back
• 6:32
  you
• 6:32
  100%
• 6:32
  on
• 6:32
  that.
• 6:33
  All
• 6:33
  that
• 6:33
  stuff
• 6:33
  is
• 6:34
  smart.
• 6:34
  All
• 6:35
  that
• 6:35
  stuff
• 6:35
  makes
• 6:35
  sense.
• 6:36
  All
• 6:36
  that
• 6:37
  stuff
• 6:37
  makes
• 6:37
  for
• 6:37
  a
• 6:38
  stronger
• 6:38
  structure
• 6:39
  for
• 6:39
  sure.
• 6:40
  1930s
• 6:41
  two
• 6:42
  story
• 6:42
  box
• 6:42
  house
• 6:43
  that
• 6:43
  you
• 6:43
  saw
• 6:44
  that
• 6:44
  was
• 6:44
  out
• 6:44
  in
• 6:44
  the
• 6:45
  farmland
• 6:45
  and
• 6:45
  it's
• 6:45
  laying
• 6:46
  in
• 6:46
  the
• 6:46
  turn
• 6:46
  lane
• 6:46
  in
• 6:46
  the
• 6:47
  middle
• 6:47
  of
• 6:47
  the
• 6:47
  four
• 6:47
  lane
• 6:47
  highway
• 6:48
  out
• 6:48
  in
• 6:48
  front
• 6:48
  because
• 6:48
  that
• 6:48
  road's
• 6:49
  grown
• 6:49
  up
• 6:50
  and
• 6:50
  it
• 6:50
  looks
• 6:51
  like
• 6:51
  they
• 6:51
  just
• 6:51
  literally
• 6:51
  lifted
• 6:52
  it
• 6:52
  up
• 6:52
  and
• 6:52
  dropped
• 6:52
  it
• 6:52
  in
• 6:53
  the
• 6:53
  street.
• 6:53
  Where
• 6:53
  a
• 6:54
  Newer
• 6:54
  House
• 6:54
  post
• 6:56
  1970s
• 6:57
  in
• 6:57
  many
• 6:57
  cases
• 6:57
  across
• 6:58
  the
• 6:58
  country,
• 6:59
  mid-70s
• 7:00
  is
• 7:00
  where
• 7:00
  you
• 7:00
  really
• 7:00
  started
• 7:01
  to
• 7:01
  see
• 7:01
  people
• 7:01
  starting
• 7:02
  to
• 7:02
  tie
• 7:02
  things
• 7:02
  down
• 7:02
  maybe
• 7:03
  a
• 7:03
  little
• 7:03
  bit,
• 7:03
  which
• 7:04
  really
• 7:04
  isn't
• 7:04
  that
• 7:04
  long
• 7:05
  ago.
• 7:05
  Yeah.
• 7:06
  And
• 7:06
  maybe
• 7:07
  those
• 7:07
  things
• 7:07
  get
• 7:07
  blown
• 7:08
  over
• 7:08
  and
• 7:08
  blown
• 7:08
  away,
• 7:09
  but
• 7:09
  at
• 7:09
  least
• 7:09
  it
• 7:09
  didn't
• 7:09
  blow
• 7:10
  up
• 7:10
  and
• 7:10
  end
• 7:10
  up
• 7:11
  in
• 7:11
  the
• 7:11
  middle
• 7:11
  of
• 7:11
  the
• 7:11
  street.
• 7:12
  Yeah.
• 7:13
  With
• 7:13
  a
• 7:13
  cow.
• 7:14
  Absolutely.
• 7:15
  Hey
• 7:15
  Johnny,
• 7:16
  real
• 7:16
  quick.
• 7:16
  We
• 7:16
  always
• 7:16
  want
• 7:17
  to
• 7:17
  start
• 7:17
  going
• 7:17
  out
• 7:17
  to
• 7:18
  the
• 7:18
  to
• 7:18
  our
• 7:19
  tip
• 7:19
  and
• 7:19
  this
• 7:20
  is
• 7:20
  our
• 7:20
  new
• 7:20
  one
• 7:21
  this
• 7:21
  week.
• 7:21
  We
• 7:21
  have
• 7:22
  got
• 7:22
  some
• 7:22
  great
• 7:22
  stuff
• 7:22
  thanks
• 7:23
  to
• 7:23
  our
• 7:23
  friends
• 7:23
  at
• 7:23
  Red
• 7:24
  Wing.
• 7:25
  We
• 7:25
  have
• 7:25
  got
• 7:25
  a
• 7:25
  safety
• 7:26
  tip.
• 7:26
  Let's
• 7:26
  run
• 7:26
  out
• 7:26
  to
• 7:26
  that
• 7:27
  real
• 7:27
  quick
• 7:27
  because
• 7:27
  it's
• 7:28
  that
• 7:28
  time
• 7:28
  of
• 7:28
  the
• 7:28
  show.
• 7:29
  Hey
• 7:29
  guys,
• 7:29
  Eric
• 7:29
  G.
• 7:30
  Here
• 7:30
  with
• 7:30
  your
• 7:30

• 7:31
  the
• 7:31
  house
• 7:31
  Red
• 7:32
  Wing
• 7:32
  work
• 7:32
  safety
• 7:33
  tip.
• 7:33
  When
• 7:33
  you're
• 7:34
  tackling
• 7:34
  projects
• 7:35
  around
• 7:35
  the
• 7:35
  house,
• 7:35
  the
• 7:36
  easiest
• 7:36
  way
• 7:36
  to
• 7:36
  get
• 7:36
  hurt
• 7:37
  is
• 7:37
  by
• 7:37
  wearing
• 7:37
  the
• 7:38
  wrong
• 7:38
  clothes.
• 7:39
  Baggy
• 7:39
  sleeves
• 7:40
  catch
• 7:40
  on
• 7:40
  power
• 7:40
  tools,
• 7:41
  loose
• 7:41
  pants,
• 7:42
  snag
• 7:42
  on
• 7:42
  ladders
• 7:43
  and
• 7:43
  the
• 7:43
  wrong
• 7:43

• 7:44
  turn
• 7:44
  a
• 7:44
  simple
• 7:45
  step
• 7:45
  into
• 7:45
  a
• 7:46
  trip
• 7:46
  or
• 7:46
  a
• 7:46
  crushed
• 7:47
  toe.
• 7:47
  Heck,
• 7:47
  even
• 7:48
  with
• 7:48
  a
• 7:48
  long
• 7:48
  beard
• 7:48
  or
• 7:49
  hair
• 7:49
  like
• 7:49
  mine,
• 7:49
  they
• 7:49
  can
• 7:50
  get
• 7:50
  caught
• 7:50
  in
• 7:50
  a
• 7:50
  power
• 7:50
  tool.
• 7:51
  Here's
• 7:51
  today's
• 7:51
  tip.
• 7:52
  Always
• 7:52
  choose
• 7:53
  fitted,
• 7:53
  durable
• 7:54
  work
• 7:54
  clothing
• 7:55
  that
• 7:55
  protects
• 7:55
  your
• 7:55
  skin
• 7:56
  and
• 7:56
  gives
• 7:56
  you
• 7:57
  that
• 7:57
  full
• 7:57
  range
• 7:57
  of
• 7:58
  motion.
• 7:58
  Long
• 7:58
  sleeves
• 7:59
  and
• 7:59
  pants
• 7:59
  made
• 8:00
  from
• 8:00
  tough
• 8:00
  breathable
• 8:01
  fabric
• 8:01
  keep
• 8:02
  debris
• 8:02
  and
• 8:02
  sparks
• 8:03
  off
• 8:03
  your
• 8:03
  skin.
• 8:04
  While
• 8:04
  reinforced
• 8:04
  pockets
• 8:05
  and
• 8:05
  reinforced
• 8:06
  toes
• 8:06
  keep
• 8:06
  you
• 8:06
  safe
• 8:07
  when
• 8:07
  you're
• 8:07
  carrying

  A

  pinnacle
• 9:19
  in

  the

  if

  you

  We're

  one

  of
• 9:23
  those

  things
• 9:23
  that
• 9:25
  I
• 9:25
  understand

  it.
• 9:26
  The
• 9:27
  problem
• 9:27
  that
• 9:27
  I
• 9:27
  see
• 9:28
  is
• 9:28
  that
• 9:29
  these
• 9:29
  new
• 9:29
  homes
• 9:30
  that
• 9:30
  we're
• 9:30
  building
• 9:30
  now.
• 9:31
  Yeah.
• 9:31
  Our
• 9:31
  house
• 9:32
  is
• 9:32
  built
• 9:32
  in
• 9:32
  the
• 9:32
  80s
• 9:33
  engineered.
• 9:34
  Yeah.
• 9:34
  Many.
• 9:34
  Are
• 9:34
  they
• 9:35
  the
• 9:35
  most
• 9:35
  reliable
• 9:36
  house?
• 9:36
  Oh,
• 9:36
  no.
• 9:37
  When
• 9:37
  they
• 9:37
  started
• 9:38
  putting
• 9:38
  in
• 9:39
  cpc,
• 9:40
  CPVC
• 9:41
  pipe,
• 9:41
  when
• 9:41
  they
• 9:41
  started
• 9:42
  using
• 9:42
  all
• 9:42
  the
• 9:42
  particle
• 9:43
  boards
• 9:43
  and
• 9:43
  in
• 9:44
  trying
• 9:44
  to
• 9:45
  energy
• 9:46
  proof
• 9:46
  homes
• 9:46
  and
• 9:46
  cause
• 9:47
  these
• 9:47
  really
• 9:47
  sick
• 9:48
  mold
• 9:48
  homes.
• 9:48
  Absolutely.
• 9:49
  80s
• 9:50
  and
• 9:50
  90s
• 9:50
  homes.
• 9:51
  Not
• 9:51
  my
• 9:51
  favorite
• 9:51
  as
• 9:52
  far
• 9:52
  as
• 9:52
  construction
• 9:52
  wise.
• 9:53
  Yeah.
• 9:53
  We
• 9:53
  did
• 9:53
  a
• 9:54
  lot
• 9:54
  of
• 9:54
  stupid
• 9:54
  stuff.
• 9:55
  We
• 9:56
  did.
• 9:56
  We
• 9:56
  did.
• 9:57
  And
• 9:57
  they
• 9:57
  required
• 9:58
  it.
• 9:59
  Yeah.
• 10:00
  But
• 10:00
  even
• 10:01
  after
• 10:01
  we
• 10:01
  figured
• 10:01
  it
• 10:01
  out,
• 10:02
  we
• 10:02
  still
• 10:02
  required
• 10:02
  it.
• 10:02
  Or
• 10:03
  I
• 10:03
  didn't.
• 10:03
  But
• 10:03
  they
• 10:04
  did.
• 10:04
  They.
• 10:05
  And
• 10:07
  so
• 10:07
  to
• 10:07
  speak
• 10:07
  to
• 10:08
  the
• 10:08
  point,
• 10:08
  I
• 10:08
  think,
• 10:09
  I
• 10:09
  think
• 10:09
  the
• 10:09
  bigger
• 10:10
  issue,
• 10:11
  right.
• 10:11
  Engineering
• 10:11
  wise,
• 10:12
  structural
• 10:12
  wise,
• 10:13
  a
• 10:14
  lot
• 10:14
  of
• 10:14
  the
• 10:14
  decisions,
• 10:15
  codes
• 10:16
  that
• 10:16
  we've
• 10:16
  made
• 10:17
  make
• 10:17
  for
• 10:18
  a
• 10:18
  smarter,
• 10:18
  better,
• 10:19
  sturdier
• 10:19
  home
• 10:20
  for
• 10:20
  sure.
• 10:21
  But
• 10:21
  then
• 10:22
  you
• 10:22
  go,
• 10:22
  then
• 10:22
  you
• 10:22
  get
• 10:23
  to
• 10:23
  materials
• 10:23
  and
• 10:24
  application
• 10:24
  and
• 10:25
  I
• 10:25
  think
• 10:25
  that's
• 10:25
  where
• 10:25
  a
• 10:26
  lot
• 10:26
  of
• 10:26
  fault
• 10:26
  falls.
• 10:27
  Go
• 10:27
  ahead,
• 10:27
  let's
• 10:27
  run
• 10:27
  out
• 10:27
  to
• 10:28
  break
• 10:28
  real
• 10:28
  quick,
• 10:28
  brother.
• 10:28
  We'll
• 10:29
  go
• 10:29
  out
• 10:29
  to
• 10:29
  break,
• 10:29
  we
• 10:30
  come
• 10:30
  back,
• 10:30
  let's
• 10:30
  talk
• 10:30
  about
• 10:30
  materials
• 10:31
  because
• 10:32
  that
• 10:32
  is
• 10:32
  the
• 10:32
  plus
• 10:33
  and
• 10:33
  the
• 10:33
  minus
• 10:33
  where
• 10:33
  this
• 10:34
  stuff
• 10:34
  is.
• 10:34
  And
• 10:34
  we'll
• 10:34
  do
• 10:34
  that
• 10:35
  just
• 10:35
  as
• 10:35

  we've

• 13:01

  There's

  that

• 13:05
  You

  the

• 13:33
  except
• 13:33
  for
• 13:34
  ours,
• 13:34
  the
• 13:34
  around
• 13:35
  the
• 13:35
  House
• 13:36
  Nation.
• 13:36
  Because
• 13:36
  I
• 13:36
  have
• 13:36
  banned
• 13:37
  that.
• 13:37
  It's
• 13:38
  just.
• 13:38
  We've
• 13:38
  covered
• 13:39
  it.
• 13:39
  It's
• 13:39
  done.
• 13:40
  But
• 13:40
  they
• 13:40
  take
• 13:41
  the
• 13:41
  Roughon
• 13:42
  VG

  fur

  that

• 13:47
  from
• 13:48
  70
• 13:48
  years
• 13:48
  ago
• 13:49
  or
• 13:49
  100
• 13:49
  years
• 13:49
  ago,
• 13:50
  and
• 13:50
  they
• 13:50
  put
• 13:51
  it
• 13:51
  up
• 13:51
  against
• 13:51
  a
• 13:52
  Hemlock
• 13:53
  2x4,
• 13:55
  which
• 13:55
  is
• 13:55
  way
• 13:56
  smaller.
• 13:57
  Yeah.
• 13:57
  And
• 13:58
  you
• 13:59
  get
• 13:59
  all
• 13:59
  of
• 13:59
  these
• 13:59
  people
• 14:00
  going,
• 14:00
  oh,
• 14:01
  see,
• 14:01
  houses
• 14:02
  were
• 14:02
  so
• 14:02
  much
• 14:02
  stronger
• 14:03
  back
• 14:03
  then.
• 14:04
  The
• 14:04
  problem
• 14:05
  that
• 14:05
  people
• 14:05
  don't
• 14:06
  realize.
• 14:06
  And
• 14:07
  this
• 14:07
  is
• 14:07
  where
• 14:07
  the.
• 14:08
  I
• 14:08
  guess
• 14:09
  the
• 14:09
  uneducated
• 14:10
  public
• 14:11
  gets
• 14:11
  into
• 14:11
  this.
• 14:12
  If
• 14:13
  you
• 14:13
  were
• 14:13
  to
• 14:13
  go
• 14:13
  pull
• 14:13
  up
• 14:14
  engineering
• 14:14
  tables,
• 14:15
  I'm
• 14:15
  going
• 14:15
  to
• 14:15
  go
• 14:15
  figure
• 14:16
  out
• 14:16
  a
• 14:16
  beam,
• 14:16
  for
• 14:16
  instance,
• 14:17
  or
• 14:17
  what's
• 14:17
  the
• 14:18
  span
• 14:18
  of
• 14:18
  this?
• 14:19
  Because
• 14:19
  I'm
• 14:19
  building
• 14:20
  a
• 14:20
  deck.
• 14:20
  Right.
• 14:21
  You
• 14:21
  get
• 14:22
  into
• 14:22
  that
• 14:22
  stuff
• 14:23
  and
• 14:24
  that
• 14:25
  whole
• 14:25
  system
• 14:25
  is
• 14:26
  based
• 14:26
  on
• 14:26
  the
• 14:26
  current
• 14:27
  lumber.
• 14:28
  So
• 14:28
  it's
• 14:28
  not
• 14:29
  based
• 14:29
  on
• 14:29
  old
• 14:29
  growth,
• 14:30
  new
• 14:30
  growth.
• 14:31
  It
• 14:31
  is
• 14:31
  that
• 14:31
  hemlock.
• 14:32
  Is
• 14:32
  it
• 14:32
  southern
• 14:33
  yellow
• 14:33
  pine?
• 14:34
  Is
• 14:34
  it
• 14:34
  vertical
• 14:35
  grain
• 14:35
  fir?
• 14:36
  What
• 14:37
  species
• 14:37
  is
• 14:38
  it
• 14:38
  now?
• 14:39
  If
• 14:39
  you
• 14:39
  go
• 14:39
  back
• 14:40
  and
• 14:40
  look
• 14:40
  in
• 14:41
  history,
• 14:41
  for
• 14:42
  instance,
• 14:42
  when
• 14:42
  you
• 14:42
  go
• 14:42
  back
• 14:43
  and
• 14:43
  look
• 14:43
  at
• 14:43
  that,
• 14:43
  have
• 14:44
  those
• 14:44
  tables
• 14:44
  changed
• 14:45
  as
• 14:45
  new
• 14:45
  lumber
• 14:46
  came
• 14:46
  out?
• 14:46
  Yeah.
• 14:48
  So
• 14:48
  NDS
• 14:48
  is
• 14:49
  the
• 14:49
  specification
• 14:50
  gods
• 14:50
  out
• 14:51
  there
• 14:51
  as
• 14:51
  far
• 14:51
  as
• 14:51
  this,
• 14:52
  which
• 14:52
  is
• 14:52
  the
• 14:52
  national
• 14:52
  design
• 14:53
  for
• 14:53
  specification
• 14:54
  for
• 14:54
  wood
• 14:54
  construction.
• 14:55
  They're
• 14:55
  the
• 14:56
  geeky
• 14:56
  people
• 14:56
  on
• 14:57
  that.
• 14:57
  If
• 14:58
  you
• 14:58
  go
• 14:58
  back
• 14:58
  a
• 14:58
  hundred
• 14:59
  years
• 14:59
  and
• 14:59
  look
• 14:59
  at
• 14:59
  what
• 14:59
  they
• 15:00
  had
• 15:00
  back
• 15:00
  then.
• 15:01
  Yes.
• 15:02
  Lumber
• 15:03
  back
• 15:03
  then.
• 15:04
  Way
• 15:04
  different
• 15:05
  as
• 15:05
  far
• 15:05
  as
• 15:05
  the
• 15:05
  PSI
• 15:06
  loads
• 15:06
  and
• 15:07
  all
• 15:07
  the
• 15:07
  geeky
• 15:07
  stuff
• 15:08
  that
• 15:08
  makes
• 15:08
  for
• 15:08
  bad
• 15:08
  radio.
• 15:09
  We're
• 15:09
  not
• 15:09
  going
• 15:09
  to
• 15:09
  get
• 15:09
  into
• 15:10
  that.
• 15:10
  Enough
• 15:10
  science.
• 15:11
  Yes.
• 15:11
  The
• 15:11
  old
• 15:11
  stuff
• 15:12
  said
• 15:13
  that
• 15:13
  you
• 15:13
  had
• 15:13
  a
• 15:13
  1700-2100
• 15:15
  psi
• 15:15
  for
• 15:16
  dense
• 15:16
  Douglas
• 15:16
  fir.
• 15:17
  But
• 15:17
  if
• 15:17
  you
• 15:17
  look
• 15:17
  at
• 15:17
  it
• 15:17
  now,
• 15:18
  It's
• 15:18
  a
• 15:18
  thousand
• 15:18
  to
• 15:18
  fifteen
• 15:19
  hundred.
• 15:19
  Yeah.
• 15:20
  But
• 15:20
  the
• 15:20
  house
• 15:20
  is
• 15:20
  engineered
• 15:21
  for
• 15:21
  that,
• 15:21
  so
• 15:22
  it
• 15:22
  doesn't
• 15:22
  matter.
• 15:23
  Yes.
• 15:24
  And
• 15:25
  right
• 15:26
  to
• 15:26
  speak
• 15:26
  to
• 15:26
  that.
• 15:27
  You
• 15:27
  brought
• 15:28
  a
• 15:28
  balloon
• 15:28
  framing
• 15:28
  before
• 15:29
  we
• 15:29
  started.
• 15:29
  And
• 15:29
  I
• 15:30
  was
• 15:30
  just
• 15:30
  like,
• 15:30
  it's
• 15:31
  crazy.
• 15:32
  That
• 15:32
  is
• 15:32
  standing
• 15:33
  after
• 15:33
  100
• 15:33
  years.
• 15:33
  Because
• 15:34
  it
• 15:34
  is
• 15:34
  the
• 15:35
  most
• 15:35
  ridiculous
• 15:36
  idea
• 15:36
  for.
• 15:37
  Right.
• 15:37
  For
• 15:37
  building
• 15:38
  a
• 15:38
  home.
• 15:38
  And
• 15:38
  if
• 15:38
  you
• 15:38
  have
• 15:39
  a
• 15:39
  fire
• 15:39
  in
• 15:39
  the
• 15:39
  wall,
• 15:39
  it's
• 15:40
  super.
• 15:40
  Yeah.
• 15:41
  No,
• 15:42
  yeah.
• 15:42
  It's
• 15:42
  just
• 15:43
  a
• 15:43
  chase
• 15:43
  for
• 15:43
  the
• 15:44
  fire
• 15:44
  to
• 15:44
  run
• 15:44
  up.
• 15:45
  It's
• 15:45
  that
• 15:45
  new
• 15:45
  chimney.
• 15:46
  Super
• 15:46
  bad
• 15:47
  idea.
• 15:47
  Super
• 15:48
  bad
• 15:48
  idea.
• 15:48
  The
• 15:49
  fact
• 15:49
  that
• 15:49
  they
• 15:49
  had
• 15:50
  two
• 15:50
  by
• 15:50
  fours
• 15:50
  that
• 15:51
  long
• 15:51
  back
• 15:51
  then
• 15:52
  and
• 15:52
  we
• 15:52
  couldn't
• 15:52
  find
• 15:53
  one
• 15:53
  now
• 15:53
  if
• 15:53
  we
• 15:53
  needed
• 15:54
  to.
• 15:55
  Impressive.
• 15:55
  But
• 15:56
  yeah.
• 15:56
  Horrible
• 15:57
  engineering
• 15:57
  idea.
• 15:58
  And
• 15:59
  as
• 16:00
  much
• 16:00
  as
• 16:00
  I
• 16:00
  support
• 16:01
  and
• 16:01
  tout
• 16:02
  the
• 16:02
  lasting
• 16:03
  capabilities
• 16:04
  of
• 16:04
  these
• 16:04
  old
• 16:05
  houses,
• 16:06
  I
• 16:06
  assure
• 16:06
  you,
• 16:07
  at
• 16:08
  every
• 16:08
  corner
• 16:09
  when
• 16:09
  I'm
• 16:09
  redoing
• 16:09
  those
• 16:10
  old
• 16:10
  places,
• 16:10
  I'm
• 16:11
  like,
• 16:12
  how
• 16:12
  in
• 16:13
  the
• 16:13
  world
• 16:13
  did
• 16:14
  that
• 16:14
  stay
• 16:14
  there
• 16:14
  for
• 16:15
  a
• 16:15
  hundred
• 16:15
  years?
• 16:16
  That
• 16:16
  looks
• 16:16
  like
• 16:17
  it
• 16:17
  should
• 16:17
  have
• 16:17
  came
• 16:17
  apart,
• 16:18
  fell
• 16:18
  down
• 16:19
  something.
• 16:19
  What?
• 16:20
  Yeah.
• 16:21
  After
• 16:21
  day
• 16:21
  two
• 16:22
  and
• 16:22
  it's
• 16:22
  been
• 16:22
  there
• 16:22
  100
• 16:23
  years.
• 16:24
  It's
• 16:24
  mind
• 16:24
  blowing.
• 16:25
  Yeah.
• 16:26
  We
• 16:26
  were
• 16:26
  talking
• 16:26
  materials,
• 16:27
  concrete,
• 16:27
  for
• 16:28
  instance.
• 16:28
  There
• 16:28
  is
• 16:28
  about
• 16:29
  a
• 16:29
  20
• 16:29
  year
• 16:30
  era
• 16:31
  in
• 16:31
  here.
• 16:32
  And
• 16:32
  I
• 16:32
  think
• 16:32
  it's
• 16:32
  like
• 16:33
  the
• 16:33
  30s,
• 16:34
  40s,
• 16:35
  like
• 16:35
  20s,
• 16:36
  30s,
• 16:36
  40s
• 16:36
  era
• 16:37
  here
• 16:37
  in
• 16:37
  Portland
• 16:39
  where
• 16:39
  they
• 16:39
  screwed
• 16:40
  up.
• 16:40
  The
• 16:40
  concrete
• 16:42
  manufacturer,
• 16:43
  they
• 16:44
  did
• 16:44
  not
• 16:44
  use
• 16:44
  washed
• 16:45
  sand,
• 16:46
  they
• 16:47
  used
• 16:47
  beat
• 16:47
  sand.
• 16:49
  So
• 16:49
  it's
• 16:50
  easier.
• 16:50
  Yes.
• 16:51
  But
• 16:51
  the
• 16:52
  problem
• 16:52
  with
• 16:52
  that
• 16:52
  was
• 16:53
  that
• 16:53
  salt
• 16:53
  gonna
• 16:54
  be
• 16:54
  a
• 16:54
  problem
• 16:54
  on
• 16:54
  there.
• 16:55
  Yes.
• 16:55
  Because
• 16:55
  I
• 16:55
  tell
• 16:56
  you
• 16:56
  what,
• 16:56
  if
• 16:56
  I
• 16:56
  go
• 16:56
  into
• 16:56
  those
• 16:57
  old
• 16:57
  homes
• 16:57
  and
• 16:57
  working
• 16:58
  with
• 16:58
  foundation
• 16:58
  companies,
• 16:59
  I
• 17:00
  could
• 17:00
  go
• 17:00
  in
• 17:00
  there
• 17:01
  with
• 17:01
  the
• 17:01
  edge
• 17:02
  of
• 17:02
  my
• 17:02
  measuring
• 17:03
  tape
• 17:03
  and
• 17:03
  dig
• 17:03
  a
• 17:04
  hole
• 17:04
  completely
• 17:05
  through
• 17:05
  the
• 17:05
  wall
• 17:06
  in
• 17:07
  45
• 17:08
  seconds.
• 17:08
  Yeah.
• 17:09
  And
• 17:10
  those
• 17:10
  homes
• 17:10
  we
• 17:11
  had
• 17:11
  to
• 17:11
  do
• 17:11
  a
• 17:11
  lot
• 17:11
  of
• 17:11
  work
• 17:11
  on,
• 17:12
  we
• 17:12
  actually
• 17:12
  had
• 17:12
  to
• 17:12
  go
• 17:12
  in
• 17:12
  and
• 17:13
  pour.
• 17:14
  You
• 17:14
  know,
• 17:14
  you
• 17:14
  don't
• 17:14
  have
• 17:14
  to
• 17:14
  lift
• 17:15
  homes
• 17:15
  up
• 17:15
  anymore.
• 17:16
  You
• 17:16
  can
• 17:16
  just
• 17:16
  pour
• 17:16
  an
• 17:17
  interior
• 17:17
  foundation
• 17:18
  that
• 17:18
  uses
• 17:19
  that
• 17:19
  old
• 17:19
  foundation
• 17:20
  as
• 17:20
  the
• 17:20
  outside
• 17:20
  forms.
• 17:21
  You
• 17:21
  come
• 17:21
  in
• 17:21
  and
• 17:21
  pour
• 17:22
  a
• 17:22
  new
• 17:22
  6
• 17:23
  or
• 17:23
  8
• 17:23
  inch
• 17:24
  thick
• 17:24
  foundation
• 17:25
  wall
• 17:25
  down
• 17:25
  there.
• 17:26
  Yeah.
• 17:26
  And
• 17:26
  you
• 17:26
  form
• 17:27
  it
• 17:27
  up
• 17:27
  on
• 17:27
  the
• 17:27
  inside,
• 17:27
  you
• 17:28
  pump
• 17:28
  it
• 17:28
  in
• 17:28
  there
• 17:28
  and
• 17:29
  you
• 17:29
  lose
• 17:30
  a
• 17:30
  foot
• 17:30
  around
• 17:30
  the
• 17:30
  outside.
• 17:31
  But
• 17:32
  you
• 17:32
  didn't
• 17:33
  have
• 17:33
  to
• 17:33
  jack
• 17:33
  the
• 17:33
  house
• 17:33
  up
• 17:34
  and
• 17:34
  people
• 17:34
  can
• 17:34
  live
• 17:34
  in
• 17:34
  it.
• 17:35
  And
• 17:35
  you're
• 17:35
  not
• 17:35
  having
• 17:35
  to
• 17:35
  go
• 17:36
  in
• 17:36
  there
• 17:36
  and
• 17:36
  fix
• 17:36
  the
• 17:36
  foundation
• 17:37
  and
• 17:38
  lift
• 17:38
  up
• 17:38
  the
• 17:38
  chimney
• 17:39
  and
• 17:39
  all
• 17:39
  the
• 17:39
  stupid
• 17:39
  stuff
• 17:40
  that
• 17:40
  happens
• 17:40
  when
• 17:40
  you
• 17:40
  have
• 17:40
  to
• 17:40
  lift
• 17:41
  a
• 17:41
  house
• 17:41
  up.
• 17:42
  But
• 17:42
  some
• 17:43
  of
• 17:43
  those
• 17:43
  things,
• 17:44
  and
• 17:45
  depending
• 17:45
  on
• 17:45
  how
• 17:46
  the
• 17:46
  concrete
• 17:46
  guy
• 17:46
  was
• 17:46
  that
• 17:47
  was
• 17:47
  doing
• 17:47
  it,
• 17:47
  which
• 17:47
  is
• 17:47
  usually
• 17:48
  the
• 17:48
  framer,
• 17:49
  they're
• 17:49
  in
• 17:49
  there
• 17:50
  mixing
• 17:50
  it
• 17:50
  up,
• 17:51
  they
• 17:51
  go
• 17:51
  take
• 17:51
  an
• 17:52
  hour
• 17:52
  lunch.
• 17:53
  That
• 17:53
  thing's
• 17:53
  setting
• 17:54
  up
• 17:54
  and
• 17:54
  they're
• 17:55
  three
• 17:55
  feet
• 17:55
  up
• 17:55
  the
• 17:55
  wall
• 17:56
  and
• 17:56
  they
• 17:56
  just
• 17:56
  keep
• 17:56
  going
• 17:56
  and
• 17:56
  they
• 17:57
  come
• 17:57
  back
• 17:58
  and
• 17:58
  it
• 17:58
  doesn't
• 17:58
  end
• 17:58
  up
• 17:59
  very
• 17:59
  well.
• 17:59
  It's
• 18:00
  not
• 18:00
  okay
• 18:00
  to
• 18:00
  just
• 18:01
  terminate
• 18:01
  and
• 18:02
  then
• 18:02
  add
• 18:02
  on
• 18:02
  top.
• 18:03
  Just
• 18:03
  keep
• 18:04
  going
• 18:04
  every
• 18:04
  2
• 18:05
  foot
• 18:05
  or
• 18:05
  6
• 18:05
  inches
• 18:06
  or
• 18:06
  3ft
• 18:07
  or.
• 18:07
  You
• 18:08
  could
• 18:08
  sure
• 18:08
  see
• 18:08
  the
• 18:08
  lines
• 18:09
  in
• 18:09
  it.
• 18:09
  Yeah,
• 18:09
  you
• 18:10
  can.
• 18:11
  Yes,
• 18:11
  you
• 18:11
  can.
• 18:12
  And
• 18:12
  they
• 18:12
  don't
• 18:13
  always
• 18:13
  exactly
• 18:14
  line
• 18:14
  up
• 18:15
  either.
• 18:16
  And
• 18:16
  of
• 18:16
  course,
• 18:16
  you
• 18:16
  can
• 18:17
  see
• 18:17
  where
• 18:17
  they
• 18:17
  used
• 18:17
  two
• 18:18
  by
• 18:18
  sixes
• 18:19
  for
• 18:19
  the
• 18:19
  forms.
• 18:20
  There
• 18:20
  wasn't
• 18:21
  plywood
• 18:21
  on
• 18:21
  there.
• 18:22
  And
• 18:22
  then
• 18:23
  if
• 18:23
  you
• 18:23
  go
• 18:23
  up
• 18:23
  and
• 18:23
  look
• 18:23
  or
• 18:24
  two
• 18:24
  by
• 18:24
  eights
• 18:24
  or
• 18:24
  whatever
• 18:25
  they
• 18:25
  had.
• 18:25
  Many
• 18:26
  times,
• 18:26
  you
• 18:26
  would
• 18:26
  see
• 18:26
  the
• 18:26
  roof
• 18:27
  trusses
• 18:27
  or
• 18:27
  the
• 18:28
  floor
• 18:28
  joists
• 18:29
  have
• 18:29
  concrete
• 18:30
  on
• 18:30
  them
• 18:30
  because
• 18:30
  they
• 18:30
  were
• 18:30
  like,
• 18:31
  oh,
• 18:31
  we're
• 18:31
  gonna
• 18:31
  use
• 18:31
  those
• 18:31
  for
• 18:32
  framing,
• 18:32
  but
• 18:32
  we're
• 18:32
  gonna
• 18:32
  use
• 18:32
  them
• 18:32
  first
• 18:33
  as
• 18:33
  a
• 18:33
  concrete
• 18:33
  forms.
• 18:34
  Yeah.
• 18:34
  And
• 18:34
  they're
• 18:35
  really
• 18:35
  fun
• 18:35
  to
• 18:35
  carry
• 18:35
  when
• 18:36
  you're
• 18:36
  doing
• 18:36
  demo.
• 18:37
  Oh,
• 18:37
  yeah.
• 18:38
  And
• 18:38
  the
• 18:38
  other
• 18:39
  problem
• 18:39
  that
• 18:39
  I
• 18:39
  see
• 18:39
  too
• 18:40
  is.
• 18:41
  Okay,
• 18:41
  so
• 18:41
  you've
• 18:42
  got
• 18:42
  technically
• 18:43
  a
• 18:43
  lighter
• 18:44
  duty
• 18:44
  lumber
• 18:45
  now
• 18:45
  because
• 18:45
  it's
• 18:46
  faster
• 18:46
  growth
• 18:46
  and
• 18:46
  everything
• 18:47
  else.
• 18:47
  But
• 18:48
  the
• 18:48
  other
• 18:49
  issue
• 18:49
  that
• 18:49
  I
• 18:49
  see
• 18:50
  is
• 18:50
  that
• 18:51
  when
• 18:51
  you're
• 18:51
  doing
• 18:52
  this,
• 18:52
  we've
• 18:52
  got
• 18:52
  all
• 18:52
  these
• 18:53
  other
• 18:53
  things
• 18:53
  that
• 18:53
  we're
• 18:54
  seeing
• 18:54
  out
• 18:54
  there
• 18:54
  from
• 18:55
  laminated
• 18:55
  beams
• 18:56
  and
• 18:56
  all
• 18:56
  that
• 18:57
  stuff
• 18:57
  that
• 18:57
  they
• 18:57
  didn't
• 18:58
  have
• 18:59
  75
• 18:59
  or
• 18:59
  100
• 19:00
  years
• 19:00
  ago.
• 19:01
  Yeah.
• 19:01
  Which
• 19:02
  serves
• 19:02
  those.
• 19:03
  Serves
• 19:04
  a
• 19:04
  weaker
• 19:05
  framing
• 19:05
  system.
• 19:06
  Right.
• 19:06
  Like
• 19:06
  it's
• 19:07
  carrying
• 19:07
  most
• 19:07
  of
• 19:07
  the
• 19:08
  load.
• 19:08
  And
• 19:08
  again,
• 19:09
  to
• 19:09
  credit,
• 19:10
  take
• 19:10
  a
• 19:10
  door
• 19:10
  frame,
• 19:11
  for
• 19:11
  example.
• 19:11
  Back
• 19:12
  100
• 19:12
  years
• 19:13
  ago,
• 19:13
  there
• 19:13
  was
• 19:14
  one
• 19:14
  2x4
• 19:14
  on
• 19:15
  either
• 19:15
  side
• 19:15
  of
• 19:15
  a
• 19:15
  46
• 19:16
  inch
• 19:16
  wide
• 19:17
  door.
• 19:18
  Had
• 19:18
  one.
• 19:18
  Absolutely.
• 19:19
  Right
• 19:19
  now
• 19:20
  we
• 19:20
  stack
• 19:20
  three
• 19:21
  2x4s
• 19:22
  on
• 19:22
  each
• 19:22
  side
• 19:23
  with
• 19:23
  a
• 19:24
  double
• 19:24
  header
• 19:24
  or
• 19:25
  depending
• 19:25
  on
• 19:26
  whatever.
• 19:27
  So.
• 19:27
  Yeah,
• 19:28
  that's
• 19:28
  hard
• 19:28
  to
• 19:28
  compare.
• 19:28
  The
• 19:29
  difference
• 19:29
  is
• 19:30
  we've
• 19:30
  made
• 19:30
  leaps
• 19:30
  and
• 19:31
  bounds
• 19:31
  on
• 19:31
  the
• 19:31
  engineering
• 19:32
  level
• 19:32
  of
• 19:32
  things.
• 19:33
  And
• 19:34
  there's
• 19:34
  no
• 19:34
  question
• 19:35
  there.
• 19:35
  I.
• 19:36
  I
• 19:36
  think
• 19:36
  we've
• 19:37
  made
• 19:37
  some
• 19:37
  huge
• 19:37
  mistakes
• 19:38
  with
• 19:38
  materials.
• 19:39
  But
• 19:39
  you
• 19:39
  brought
• 19:40
  up
• 19:40
  CPVC,
• 19:41
  various
• 19:42
  different
• 19:42
  types
• 19:42
  of
• 19:43
  siding.
• 19:43
  I
• 19:43
  won't.
• 19:44
  Yeah.
• 19:45
  1980s.
• 19:46
  Exciting.
• 19:47
  Sorry.
• 19:47
  I'll
• 19:47
  be
• 19:47
  still
• 19:48
  on
• 19:48
  that
• 19:48
  one.
• 19:48
  But
• 19:49
  yeah,
• 19:49
  just.
• 19:50
  We
• 19:50
  made
• 19:50
  some
• 19:51
  bad
• 19:51
  errors
• 19:52
  sealing
• 19:52
  the
• 19:52
  house
• 19:52
  so
• 19:53
  tight
• 19:53
  that
• 19:53
  we
• 19:53
  got
• 19:53
  mold
• 19:54
  issues.
• 19:54
  Like
• 19:55
  we.
• 19:55
  But
• 19:56
  I
• 19:56
  think
• 19:56
  we've
• 19:56
  learned
• 19:56
  a
• 19:56
  lot.
• 19:57
  And
• 19:57
  you're
• 19:57
  right
• 19:57
  to
• 19:57
  call
• 19:58
  out
• 19:58
  like
• 19:58
  the
• 19:58
  80s
• 19:59
  90s,
• 19:59
  man.
• 20:00
  We.
• 20:00
  There
• 20:00
  was
• 20:01
  just
• 20:01
  some
• 20:01
  bad
• 20:01
  stuff
• 20:02
  going
• 20:02
  on.
• 20:02
  It
• 20:02
  gave
• 20:03
  me
• 20:03
  a
• 20:03
  lot
• 20:03
  of
• 20:03
  work.
• 20:03
  But
• 20:04
  I
• 20:04
  think.
• 20:05
  No.
• 20:06
  And.
• 20:06
  And
• 20:07
  Elise
• 20:07
  and
• 20:08
  I
• 20:08
  have
• 20:08
  been
• 20:08
  out
• 20:08
  kind
• 20:08
  of
• 20:08
  house
• 20:08
  shopping
• 20:09
  looking
• 20:09
  for
• 20:09
  something
• 20:09
  here.
• 20:10
  Maybe
• 20:10
  later
• 20:10
  this
• 20:10
  year
• 20:11
  when
• 20:11
  things
• 20:12
  get
• 20:12
  a
• 20:12
  little
• 20:12
  better
• 20:12
  around
• 20:13
  here.
• 20:13
  But
• 20:14
  if
• 20:14
  they
• 20:14
  do
• 20:14
  get
• 20:15
  better
• 20:15
  around
• 20:15
  here
• 20:15
  in
• 20:15
  Portland.
• 20:16
  But
• 20:16
  I've
• 20:16
  just
• 20:17
  told
• 20:17
  her
• 20:17
  let's
• 20:17
  stay
• 20:17
  away
• 20:18
  from
• 20:18
  the
• 20:18
  80s
• 20:18
  90s
• 20:19
  houses.
• 20:19
  I'd
• 20:19
  rather
• 20:20
  have
• 20:20
  a
• 20:20
  60s
• 20:20
  house
• 20:21
  than
• 20:21
  an
• 20:21
  80s
• 20:21
  house,
• 20:22
  you
• 20:22
  know
• 20:22
  what
• 20:22
  I
• 20:22
  mean?
• 20:23
  That's
• 20:23
  real
• 20:23
  talk.
• 20:24
  Yeah,
• 20:24
  yeah,
• 20:25
  I
• 20:25
  much
• 20:25
  rather
• 20:25
  have
• 20:25
  it
• 20:26
  because
• 20:26
  I
• 20:26
  can
• 20:26
  go
• 20:26
  through
• 20:26
  and
• 20:26
  fix
• 20:27
  the
• 20:27
  things
• 20:27
  I
• 20:27
  can
• 20:27
  go
• 20:27
  through
• 20:27
  and
• 20:28
  tie
• 20:28
  down
• 20:29
  to
• 20:29
  the
• 20:29
  foundation.
• 20:29
  That's
• 20:30
  easy
• 20:30
  to
• 20:30
  do
• 20:30
  an
• 20:30
  earthquake
• 20:31
  retrofit,
• 20:31
  that's
• 20:31
  easy.
• 20:32
  Yeah,
• 20:33
  Not
• 20:33
  a
• 20:33
  big
• 20:33
  deal.
• 20:34
  But
• 20:35
  the
• 20:35
  80s
• 20:35
  stuff,
• 20:36
  man,
• 20:36
  just
• 20:36
  the
• 20:36
  use
• 20:37
  of
• 20:37
  the
• 20:37
  particle
• 20:37
  boards
• 20:38
  and
• 20:38
  we
• 20:38
  were
• 20:39
  starting
• 20:39
  to
• 20:39
  tyvek
• 20:40
  things
• 20:40
  up
• 20:40
  and
• 20:40
  wrap
• 20:41
  things
• 20:41
  up
• 20:41
  and
• 20:41
  get
• 20:42
  things
• 20:42
  too
• 20:43
  sealed
• 20:43
  up
• 20:43
  and
• 20:43
  we
• 20:43
  didn't
• 20:44
  have
• 20:44
  anything.
• 20:44
  And
• 20:44
  I'm
• 20:44
  almost
• 20:45
  worried
• 20:45
  a
• 20:45
  little
• 20:45
  bit
• 20:45
  moving
• 20:46
  forward
• 20:46
  now
• 20:47
  with
• 20:47
  our
• 20:47
  current
• 20:47
  building
• 20:48
  code.
• 20:48
  Are
• 20:49
  we
• 20:49
  doing
• 20:49
  enough
• 20:50
  for
• 20:51
  that?
• 20:51
  And
• 20:52
  when
• 20:52
  we
• 20:52
  come
• 20:52
  back,
• 20:52
  I
• 20:53
  want
• 20:53
  to
• 20:53
  talk
• 20:53
  about
• 20:53
  that
• 20:54
  because
• 20:54
  that
• 20:54
  is
• 20:54
  one
• 20:55
  of
• 20:55
  the
• 20:55
  things
• 20:55
  we're
• 20:55
  seeing
• 20:55
  this
• 20:56
  huge
• 20:56
  shift
• 20:57
  again
• 20:58
  for
• 20:58
  energy
• 20:58
  efficiency
• 20:59
  and
• 21:00
  little
• 21:00
  warning
• 21:00
  signs
• 21:01
  in
• 21:01
  my
• 21:01
  head
• 21:01
  go
• 21:01
  up
• 21:01
  and
• 21:01
  go,
• 21:02
  oh
• 21:02
  no,
• 21:02
  here
• 21:03
  we
• 21:03
  go
• 21:03
  again.
• 21:04
  Yep.
• 21:05
  We've
• 21:05
  had
• 21:05
  a
• 21:05
  couple
• 21:05
  conversations
• 21:06
  with
• 21:06
  a
• 21:06
  couple
• 21:06
  different
• 21:07
  people
• 21:07
  and
• 21:07
  I
• 21:07
  thought
• 21:07
  the
• 21:08
  same
• 21:08
  thing.
• 21:08
  We're
• 21:08
  doing
• 21:08
  it
• 21:09
  again.
• 21:09
  Why?
• 21:09
  Here
• 21:10
  we
• 21:10
  go,
• 21:10
  here
• 21:10
  we
• 21:11
  go.
• 21:11
  All
• 21:11
  right,
• 21:11
  we
• 21:11
  come
• 21:12
  back
• 21:12
  guys.
• 21:12
  We'll
• 21:12
  talk
• 21:12
  more
• 21:13
  about
• 21:13
  that.
• 21:13
  Stay
• 21:13

  a
• 23:31
  great
• 23:32
  time
• 23:32
  today.
• 23:32
  And
• 23:32
  hey,
• 23:33
  if
• 23:33
  you
• 23:33
  want
• 23:33
  to

  find

  Take

  a
• 23:39
  look

  at

  our

• 23:45
  just
• 23:45
  got
• 23:45
  released
• 23:46
  this
• 23:46
  last
• 23:46
  week.
• 23:46
  So
• 23:47
  we
• 23:47
  got
• 23:47
  some
• 23:47
  new
• 23:47
  stuff
• 23:47
  over
• 23:47
  there.
• 23:48
  That
• 23:48
  thing
• 23:48
  is
• 23:48
  jam
• 23:49
  packed
• 23:49
  already
• 23:49
  with
• 23:50
  good
• 23:50
  content
• 23:50
  for
• 23:51
  you
• 23:51
  guys.
• 23:51
  And
• 23:51
  Johnny
• 23:52
  and
• 23:52
  I
• 23:52
  are
• 23:52
  having
• 23:52
  the
• 23:52
  debate
• 23:53
  of
• 23:53
  old
• 23:53
  houses
• 23:54
  versus
• 23:54
  new
• 23:54
  houses
• 23:55
  and
• 23:55
  what's
• 23:56
  better,
• 23:56
  what's
• 23:56
  not.
• 23:57
  Where
• 23:57
  have
• 23:57
  we
• 23:57
  gone
• 23:58
  wrong?
• 23:58
  What
• 23:58
  have
• 23:58
  we
• 23:58
  done
• 23:59
  right?
• 23:59
  And
• 23:59
  we
• 24:00
  were
• 24:00
  just
• 24:00
  talking
• 24:00
  about
• 24:00
  some
• 24:01
  of
• 24:01
  the
• 24:01
  new
• 24:01
  construction
• 24:02
  stuff
• 24:02
  that's
• 24:02
  coming
• 24:03
  out
• 24:03
  and
• 24:03
  you
• 24:04
  know,
• 24:04
  it's
• 24:04
  interesting
• 24:04
  because
• 24:05
  I,
• 24:05
  I
• 24:05
  see
• 24:05
  a
• 24:05
  lot
• 24:06
  of,
• 24:06
  I
• 24:06
  don't
• 24:06
  know,
• 24:06
  I'm
• 24:06
  on
• 24:07
  a
• 24:07
  lot
• 24:07
  of
• 24:07
  different
• 24:07
  social
• 24:07
  media
• 24:08
  pages
• 24:08
  as
• 24:08
  kind
• 24:09
  of
• 24:09
  a
• 24:09
  expert
• 24:09
  or
• 24:10
  moderator
• 24:11
  and
• 24:12
  Canada
• 24:12
  is
• 24:12
  kind
• 24:12
  of
• 24:13
  going
• 24:13
  one
• 24:13
  direction,
• 24:14
  we're
• 24:14
  kind
• 24:14
  of
• 24:14
  going
• 24:14
  in
• 24:14
  another
• 24:15
  direction.
• 24:15
  But
• 24:16
  you're
• 24:16
  starting
• 24:16
  to
• 24:16
  see
• 24:17
  a
• 24:17
  new
• 24:17
  building
• 24:17
  code
• 24:17
  out
• 24:18
  there
• 24:18
  where
• 24:18
  you
• 24:18
  have
• 24:18
  to
• 24:18
  put
• 24:19
  in
• 24:19
  on
• 24:19
  the
• 24:19
  outside
• 24:20
  of
• 24:20
  the
• 24:20
  sheathing.
• 24:20
  So
• 24:21
  if
• 24:21
  you
• 24:21
  frame
• 24:21
  this
• 24:21
  up,
• 24:22
  let's
• 24:22
  say
• 24:22
  you're
• 24:22
  building
• 24:23
  a
• 24:23
  two
• 24:23
  by
• 24:23
  six
• 24:23
  wall,
• 24:24
  you
• 24:24
  put
• 24:24
  in
• 24:25
  your
• 24:25
  half
• 24:25
  inch
• 24:25
  plywood
• 24:26
  out
• 24:26
  there
• 24:26
  or
• 24:27
  OSB
• 24:27
  or
• 24:28
  whatever
• 24:28
  you're
• 24:28
  doing,
• 24:29
  they
• 24:29
  now
• 24:29
  want
• 24:30
  an
• 24:30
  R
• 24:30
  value
• 24:31
  on
• 24:31
  the
• 24:31
  outside
• 24:32
  that
• 24:32
  is
• 24:32
  continuous
• 24:33
  around
• 24:34
  the
• 24:34
  outside
• 24:34
  of
• 24:34
  the
• 24:34
  building.
• 24:35
  And
• 24:36
  I
• 24:36
  get
• 24:36
  that
• 24:36
  because
• 24:37
  two
• 24:37
  by
• 24:37
  fours,
• 24:38
  two
• 24:38
  by
• 24:38
  sixes
• 24:39
  are
• 24:39
  heat
• 24:39
  sinks
• 24:39
  in
• 24:40
  that
• 24:40
  they
• 24:40
  go
• 24:40
  right
• 24:40
  through
• 24:40
  it.
• 24:41
  It's
• 24:41
  not
• 24:41
  an
• 24:41
  insulating.
• 24:43
  You
• 24:43
  do
• 24:43
  get
• 24:43
  those
• 24:43
  spots
• 24:44
  where
• 24:44
  you
• 24:44
  see
• 24:44
  it.
• 24:44
  But
• 24:45
  I'm
• 24:45
  starting
• 24:45
  to
• 24:45
  get
• 24:45
  concerned
• 24:46
  that
• 24:46
  if
• 24:46
  we
• 24:46
  don't
• 24:47
  do
• 24:47
  this
• 24:47
  part
• 24:47
  right,
• 24:48
  and
• 24:49
  I
• 24:49
  drive
• 24:50
  around
• 24:50
  and
• 24:50
  see
• 24:51
  some
• 24:51
  major
• 24:52
  builders
• 24:52
  in
• 24:52
  my
• 24:52
  area
• 24:54
  that
• 24:54
  can't
• 24:54
  even
• 24:54
  get
• 24:54
  the
• 24:55
  Tyvek
• 24:55
  part
• 24:55
  right,
• 24:56
  let
• 24:56
  alone
• 24:56
  putting
• 24:57
  on.
• 24:57
  I
• 24:58
  mean,
• 24:58
  yeah,
• 24:59
  somebody
• 25:00
  borrowed
• 25:00
  their
• 25:00
  child's
• 25:01
  stapler
• 25:02
  from
• 25:02
  third
• 25:02
  grade
• 25:03
  to
• 25:03
  put
• 25:03
  this
• 25:03
  stuff
• 25:03
  up.
• 25:04
  And
• 25:04
  it's
• 25:04
  not
• 25:05
  taped,
• 25:05
  it's
• 25:06
  not
• 25:06
  flashed
• 25:06
  right.
• 25:07
  It's
• 25:07
  just
• 25:07
  like.
• 25:08
  And
• 25:08
  I
• 25:08
  drive
• 25:08
  by
• 25:08
  and
• 25:09
  go,
• 25:09
  how
• 25:09
  did
• 25:09
  that
• 25:09
  pass,
• 25:10
  guys?
• 25:10
  Throwing
• 25:10
  windows
• 25:11
  in.
• 25:11
  I'm
• 25:11
  like,
• 25:12
  how
• 25:12
  did
• 25:12
  that
• 25:12
  pass
• 25:13
  inspection?
• 25:13
  And
• 25:14
  it
• 25:14
  shouldn't.
• 25:15
  But
• 25:16
  if
• 25:16
  that
• 25:17
  slips,
• 25:17
  what
• 25:17
  happens
• 25:17
  when
• 25:18
  we're
• 25:18
  getting
• 25:18
  into
• 25:18
  this
• 25:18
  deeper
• 25:19
  building
• 25:19
  science
• 25:20
  stuff
• 25:20
  that
• 25:21
  most
• 25:21
  people
• 25:22
  yet
• 25:22
  don't
• 25:22
  understand,
• 25:23
  and
• 25:24
  that
• 25:24
  concerns
• 25:24
  me
• 25:25
  that
• 25:25
  we're
• 25:25
  looking
• 25:25
  at
• 25:25
  1980s
• 25:26
  all
• 25:26
  over
• 25:27
  again.
• 25:27
  Yeah,
• 25:27
  you
• 25:28
  brought
• 25:28
  that
• 25:28
  up
• 25:28
  the
• 25:28
  other
• 25:29
  day
• 25:29
  about
• 25:30
  this
• 25:30
  entire
• 25:31
  insulated
• 25:32
  wrap
• 25:33
  that
• 25:33
  covers
• 25:33
  the
• 25:33
  entire.
• 25:34
  And
• 25:35
  alarms
• 25:35
  went
• 25:35
  off.
• 25:36
  Right.
• 25:36
  And
• 25:36
  especially
• 25:36
  after
• 25:37
  talking
• 25:37
  with
• 25:38
  our
• 25:38
  buddy
• 25:38
  over
• 25:38
  at
• 25:38
  Panasonic
• 25:39
  and,
• 25:39
  like,
• 25:39
  hearing
• 25:40
  everything
• 25:40
  they're
• 25:40
  doing
• 25:41
  for
• 25:41
  airflow
• 25:41
  and
• 25:42
  keeping
• 25:42
  pure
• 25:42
  air.
• 25:43
  And
• 25:43
  we're
• 25:43
  talking
• 25:43
  about
• 25:44
  healthy
• 25:44
  homes.
• 25:44
  And
• 25:45
  now
• 25:45
  we're
• 25:45
  right
• 25:45
  back
• 25:46
  to
• 25:46
  sealing
• 25:46
  it
• 25:46
  up.
• 25:47
  So
• 25:47
  people
• 25:47
  get
• 25:48
  sick
• 25:48
  and
• 25:48
  gas
• 25:49
  leaks
• 25:49
  kill
• 25:49
  and
• 25:50
  mold
• 25:51
  grows
• 25:51
  and
• 25:52
  guys,
• 25:52
  like,
• 25:52
  don't.
• 25:53
  Yeah,
• 25:53
  I
• 25:53
  don't
• 25:53
  know.
• 25:54
  We're.
• 25:54
  Don't
• 25:54
  do
• 25:54
  it
• 25:54
  again.
• 25:55
  We're
• 25:55
  human.
• 25:56
  Or
• 25:56
  just
• 25:57
  sometimes
• 25:57
  we're
• 25:57
  not
• 25:58
  the
• 25:58
  smartest.
• 25:59
  No.
• 25:59
  And
• 25:59
  the
• 25:59
  thing
• 26:00
  that
• 26:00
  I
• 26:00
  see
• 26:00
  here
• 26:00
  too,
• 26:00
  brother,
• 26:01
  that
• 26:01
  drives
• 26:01
  me
• 26:01
  crazy
• 26:02
  is
• 26:02
  great
• 26:03
  example.
• 26:03
  You
• 26:03
  know,
• 26:03
  I
• 26:03
  was
• 26:04
  watching
• 26:04
  one
• 26:04
  of
• 26:04
  those.
• 26:05
  One
• 26:05
  of
• 26:05
  those
• 26:05
  Canadian
• 26:06
  guys
• 26:06
  was
• 26:06
  on
• 26:06
  there
• 26:06
  and
• 26:07
  he
• 26:07
  was
• 26:07
  like,
• 26:07
  oh,
• 26:07
  yeah,
• 26:07
  I'm
• 26:07
  building
• 26:08
  all
• 26:08
  these
• 26:08
  high
• 26:08
  tech
• 26:08
  homes
• 26:08
  up
• 26:08
  in
• 26:09
  Canada,
• 26:09
  and
• 26:10
  I'm
• 26:10
  using
• 26:10
  the
• 26:11
  ERV
• 26:11
  system
• 26:12
  as
• 26:12
  the.
• 26:13
  He's
• 26:14
  venting
• 26:14
  all
• 26:14
  the
• 26:15
  bath
• 26:15
  fans
• 26:15
  out
• 26:15
  of
• 26:15
  that.
• 26:16
  He's.
• 26:16
  Oh,
• 26:16
  it's
• 26:16
  120cfm.
• 26:17
  That's
• 26:18
  great.
• 26:18
  And
• 26:18
  I
• 26:18
  came
• 26:18
  back
• 26:18
  and
• 26:19
  went,
• 26:19
  okay,
• 26:19
  brother,
• 26:19
  got
• 26:20
  a
• 26:20
  question.
• 26:20
  Well,
• 26:20
  you
• 26:20
  got,
• 26:21
  You're.
• 26:21
  You
• 26:21
  have
• 26:21
  it.
• 26:22
  So
• 26:22
  when
• 26:22
  somebody
• 26:22
  walks
• 26:22
  into
• 26:23
  that
• 26:23
  bathroom,
• 26:23
  that.
• 26:24
  It
• 26:24
  goes
• 26:25
  perfect.
• 26:25
  If
• 26:25
  you
• 26:26
  got
• 26:26
  three
• 26:26
  bathrooms,
• 26:27
  let's
• 26:27
  say
• 26:27
  you
• 26:27
  got
• 26:27
  four
• 26:27
  bathrooms.
• 26:28
  What
• 26:28
  do
• 26:28
  you
• 26:29
  got?
• 26:29
  Maybe
• 26:30
  35
• 26:31
  CFM
• 26:31
  in
• 26:31
  there.
• 26:32
  And
• 26:32
  we're
• 26:32
  not
• 26:32
  counting
• 26:32
  elbows
• 26:33
  and
• 26:33
  things
• 26:33
  going
• 26:34
  outside.
• 26:34
  Maybe
• 26:35
  30
• 26:35
  CFM.
• 26:36
  I'm
• 26:36
  like,
• 26:37
  dude,
• 26:37
  you
• 26:37
  got
• 26:38
  a
• 26:38
  moldy
• 26:38
  room
• 26:38
  now
• 26:39
  because
• 26:39
  you're
• 26:39
  trying
• 26:39
  to
• 26:40
  do
• 26:40
  the
• 26:40
  better
• 26:41
  thing.
• 26:41
  It's
• 26:41
  like
• 26:41
  just
• 26:42
  exhaust
• 26:42
  it,
• 26:42
  send
• 26:43
  it
• 26:43
  outside,
• 26:43
  put
• 26:43
  in
• 26:44
  your
• 26:44
  110cfm
• 26:45
  Panasonic
• 26:46
  and
• 26:46
  just
• 26:46
  kick
• 26:47
  it
• 26:47
  outside
• 26:47
  and
• 26:47
  get
• 26:48
  the.
• 26:48
  Get
• 26:48
  the
• 26:48
  water
• 26:48
  out
• 26:49
  of
• 26:49
  there
• 26:49
  versus
• 26:49
  trying
• 26:50
  to
• 26:50
  get
• 26:50
  all
• 26:50
  tricky
• 26:51
  with
• 26:51
  it.
• 26:51
  Yeah,
• 26:52
  we're
• 26:52
  complicating
• 26:53
  things.
• 26:53
  Is.
• 26:54
  Has
• 26:54
  been
• 26:55
  our
• 26:55
  demise
• 26:55
  how
• 26:56
  many
• 26:56
  times
• 26:56
  in
• 26:57
  the
• 26:57
  building
• 26:57
  industry.
• 26:58
  Right.
• 26:59
  I
• 26:59
  don't
• 26:59
  know
• 26:59
  if
• 26:59
  that
• 26:59
  ever
• 26:59
  stops
• 27:00
  because
• 27:00
  we're
• 27:00
  always
• 27:00
  trying
• 27:01
  stuff,
• 27:01
  right?
• 27:01
  We're
• 27:02
  always
• 27:02
  like,
• 27:02
  oh,
• 27:02
  man,
• 27:03
  CPVC
• 27:04
  is
• 27:04
  the
• 27:04
  solution.
• 27:04
  This
• 27:05
  is
• 27:05
  the
• 27:05
  best
• 27:05
  idea
• 27:06
  ever.
• 27:06
  Right.
• 27:07
  Ad
• 27:07
  nauseam.
• 27:08
  There's
• 27:08
  about
• 27:08
  100
• 27:09
  of
• 27:09
  those
• 27:09
  things.
• 27:10
  How
• 27:10
  many
• 27:10
  times
• 27:10
  did
• 27:10
  they
• 27:11
  tell
• 27:11
  you
• 27:11
  before
• 27:11
  that
• 27:11
  you
• 27:12
  had
• 27:12
  to
• 27:12
  put
• 27:12
  sheet
• 27:13
  plastic
• 27:13
  up
• 27:13
  between
• 27:14
  the
• 27:14
  drywall
• 27:14
  and
• 27:14
  the
• 27:15
  insulation
• 27:15
  and
• 27:15
  then
• 27:15
  they
• 27:15
  come
• 27:16
  back,
• 27:16
  oh,
• 27:16
  no,
• 27:16
  no,
• 27:16
  no,
• 27:16
  no,
• 27:17
  no,
• 27:17
  no.
• 27:17
  Can't
• 27:17
  do
• 27:17
  that.
• 27:18
  Yeah,
• 27:18
  let's
• 27:18
  create
• 27:19
  a
• 27:19
  bunch
• 27:19
  of
• 27:19
  condensation
• 27:20
  and
• 27:20
  grow
• 27:20
  plants
• 27:21
  inside
• 27:21
  the
• 27:21
  walls.
• 27:22
  So
• 27:22
  we
• 27:22
  got
• 27:23
  terrarium.
• 27:24
  Yeah,
• 27:25
  it's
• 27:25
  just
• 27:25
  like
• 27:25
  islands
• 27:26
  in
• 27:26
  kitchens.
• 27:26
  You
• 27:27
  don't
• 27:27
  probably
• 27:27
  know
• 27:27
  this
• 27:28
  one.
• 27:28
  They
• 27:28
  have
• 27:28
  now
• 27:29
  made
• 27:29
  it
• 27:29
  illegal
• 27:29
  to
• 27:29
  put
• 27:29
  the
• 27:30
  outlet
• 27:30
  on
• 27:30
  the
• 27:30
  side
• 27:30
  of
• 27:30
  the
• 27:30
  island.
• 27:31
  Yeah.
• 27:32
  So
• 27:32
  now
• 27:32
  you
• 27:32
  have
• 27:32
  to
• 27:32
  put
• 27:32
  a
• 27:33
  pop
• 27:33
  up
• 27:33
  because
• 27:33
  people
• 27:34
  could
• 27:34
  walk
• 27:34
  by,
• 27:35
  catch
• 27:35
  the
• 27:35
  cord,
• 27:36
  and
• 27:36
  pull
• 27:36
  the
• 27:36
  deep
• 27:37
  fryer
• 27:37
  or
• 27:37
  the
• 27:37
  coffee
• 27:38
  pot
• 27:38
  or
• 27:39
  of
• 27:39
  the
• 27:39
  island.
• 27:39
  So
• 27:40
  they
• 27:40
  want
• 27:40
  that
• 27:40
  up
• 27:40
  on
• 27:40
  the
• 27:40
  counter
• 27:41
  now.
• 27:41
  Or
• 27:41
  a
• 27:41
  kid
• 27:42
  could
• 27:42
  pull
• 27:42
  it
• 27:42
  down.
• 27:43
  The
• 27:43
  reason
• 27:43
  they
• 27:44
  made
• 27:44
  you
• 27:44
  put
• 27:44
  the
• 27:44
  outlets
• 27:45
  on
• 27:45
  the
• 27:45
  island
• 27:45
  is
• 27:45
  because
• 27:45
  people
• 27:46
  would
• 27:46
  run
• 27:46
  the
• 27:46
  extension
• 27:47
  cord
• 27:47
  across
• 27:47
  the
• 27:47
  walkway
• 27:48
  and
• 27:48
  do
• 27:48
  the
• 27:49
  same
• 27:49
  thing.
• 27:49
  What
• 27:49
  happened
• 27:50
  to
• 27:50
  personal
• 27:50
  accountability?
• 27:51
  I
• 27:51
  mean,
• 27:51
  like,
• 27:51
  do
• 27:51
  we
• 27:52
  have
• 27:52
  to
• 27:52
  account
• 27:53
  in
• 27:53
  our
• 27:53
  engineering
• 27:54
  specs
• 27:54
  and
• 27:54
  code
• 27:55
  specifications
• 27:56
  for.
• 27:57
  And
• 27:57
  I
• 27:57
  don't
• 27:58
  want
• 27:58
  to
• 27:58
  be.
• 27:58
  Yeah,
• 27:58
  I
• 27:59
  don't
• 27:59
  want
• 27:59
  to
• 27:59
  be
• 27:59
  rude,
• 27:59
  but
• 27:59
  just
• 28:00
  blatant
• 28:00
  stupidity.
• 28:00
  And
• 28:01
  again,
• 28:01
  Right.
• 28:01
  Like
• 28:02
  having
• 28:02
  traveled
• 28:02
  for
• 28:03
  the
• 28:03
  last
• 28:03
  12
• 28:03
  years
• 28:03
  and
• 28:04
  now
• 28:04
  living
• 28:04
  in
• 28:04
  Colombia
• 28:05
  for
• 28:05
  the
• 28:05
  last
• 28:06
  nine.
• 28:06
  Like,
• 28:07
  all
• 28:07
  these
• 28:07
  places
• 28:08
  I
• 28:08
  go,
• 28:08
  man,
• 28:08
  there's
• 28:08
  potholes
• 28:09
  in
• 28:09
  the
• 28:09
  road,
• 28:09
  there's
• 28:10
  rebar
• 28:10
  sticking
• 28:11
  out
• 28:11
  as
• 28:11
  you
• 28:11
  walk
• 28:11
  past.
• 28:12
  There's
• 28:13
  so
• 28:13
  many
• 28:13
  dangers,
• 28:14
  nobody
• 28:15
  complains,
• 28:15
  nobody
• 28:16
  sues,
• 28:16
  nobody.
• 28:17
  It
• 28:17
  just
• 28:17
  doesn't
• 28:18
  happen.
• 28:18
  If
• 28:18
  you're
• 28:19
  stupid
• 28:19
  enough
• 28:20
  to
• 28:20
  not
• 28:21
  pay
• 28:21
  attention
• 28:21
  because
• 28:21
  you're
• 28:22
  staring
• 28:22
  at
• 28:22
  your
• 28:22
  phone
• 28:22
  and
• 28:22
  you
• 28:23
  trip
• 28:23
  over
• 28:23
  the
• 28:23
  extension
• 28:24
  cord
• 28:24
  that's
• 28:24
  coming
• 28:25
  out
• 28:25
  of
• 28:25
  the
• 28:25
  island,
• 28:25
  that's
• 28:26
  kind
• 28:26
  of
• 28:26
  on
• 28:26
  you.
• 28:27
  Come
• 28:27
  on.
• 28:27
  Well,
• 28:28
  that's
• 28:28
  because
• 28:28
  you
• 28:28
  and
• 28:28
  I
• 28:28
  are
• 28:29
  Gen
• 28:29
  Xers.
• 28:29
  You
• 28:30
  know,
• 28:30
  we
• 28:30
  were
• 28:30
  out
• 28:30
  there,
• 28:30
  we
• 28:31
  were
• 28:31
  watching
• 28:31
  Evel
• 28:31
  Knievel
• 28:32
  jump
• 28:32
  on
• 28:32
  abc.
• 28:33
  And
• 28:33
  then
• 28:33
  we
• 28:33
  go
• 28:33
  out
• 28:33
  and
• 28:34
  build
• 28:34
  our
• 28:34
  ramps
• 28:34
  with
• 28:35
  our
• 28:35
  bikes
• 28:35
  and
• 28:35
  do
• 28:35
  it
• 28:35
  ourselves.
• 28:36
  Right?
• 28:36
  Yeah,
• 28:37
  that's
• 28:37
  how
• 28:37
  it's.
• 28:38
  I
• 28:38
  don't
• 28:38
  know,
• 28:39
  cuz
• 28:39
  here's
• 28:40
  the
• 28:40
  thing.
• 28:40
  That's
• 28:40
  that
• 28:41
  whole
• 28:41
  Another
• 28:41
  rabbit
• 28:41
  hole
• 28:42
  almost
• 28:42
  went
• 28:43
  down.
• 28:43
  I'm
• 28:43
  leaving
• 28:43
  it.
• 28:44
  Here's
• 28:44
  the
• 28:44
  rabbit
• 28:44
  hole.
• 28:45
  I'm
• 28:45
  just
• 28:45
  going
• 28:45
  to
• 28:45
  touch
• 28:45
  on.
• 28:46
  I
• 28:46
  walk
• 28:46
  around,
• 28:47
  I
• 28:47
  see
• 28:47
  kids
• 28:47
  all
• 28:47
  the
• 28:47
  time.
• 28:48
  I
• 28:48
  mean,
• 28:48
  we
• 28:48
  are
• 28:48
  just
• 28:48
  at
• 28:49
  Disney
• 28:50
  World,
• 28:50
  right?
• 28:51
  There's
• 28:51
  no
• 28:51
  bigger
• 28:51
  concentration
• 28:52
  of
• 28:52
  kids
• 28:52
  than
• 28:53
  a
• 28:53
  Disney
• 28:53
  World.
• 28:54
  How
• 28:54
  many
• 28:54
  kids
• 28:54
  with
• 28:55
  casts
• 28:55
  I
• 28:55
  see?
• 28:56
  None.
• 28:56
  Yeah,
• 28:57
  I
• 28:57
  know.
• 28:57
  How
• 28:57
  boring.
• 28:58
  What's
• 28:58
  wrong
• 28:59
  with
• 28:59
  you
• 28:59
  kids,
• 29:00
  man?
• 29:00
  Always
• 29:00
  two
• 29:01
  people
• 29:01
  in
• 29:01
  each
• 29:01
  class
• 29:02
  with
• 29:02
  a
• 29:02
  broken
• 29:03
  arm
• 29:03
  or
• 29:03
  a
• 29:03
  broken
• 29:03
  leg
• 29:04
  or
• 29:04
  something.
• 29:04
  I
• 29:05
  was
• 29:05
  always
• 29:05
  jealous
• 29:05
  because
• 29:06
  I
• 29:06
  could
• 29:06
  never
• 29:06
  break
• 29:06
  anything,
• 29:07
  man.
• 29:07
  I
• 29:07
  took
• 29:08
  so
• 29:08
  many
• 29:08
  bad
• 29:08
  hits
• 29:09
  on
• 29:09
  skateboard
• 29:09
  ramps,
• 29:10
  and
• 29:11
  I
• 29:11
  did
• 29:11
  it
• 29:12
  right,
• 29:12
  I
• 29:12
  couldn't
• 29:12
  break
• 29:13
  a
• 29:13
  damn
• 29:13
  thing.
• 29:14
  I
• 29:14
  was
• 29:14
  like,
• 29:14
  rubber
• 29:15
  bum
• 29:15
  me
• 29:15
  out.
• 29:16
  I
• 29:16
  always
• 29:16
  wanted
• 29:16
  a
• 29:16
  cast
• 29:16
  for
• 29:17
  people
• 29:17
  to
• 29:17
  sign.
• 29:17
  I
• 29:17
  never
• 29:18
  got.
• 29:19
  I
• 29:19
  was
• 29:19
  happy.
• 29:19
  I
• 29:20
  mean,
• 29:20
  I
• 29:20
  broke
• 29:20
  my
• 29:21
  leg
• 29:21
  in
• 29:21
  second
• 29:21
  grade
• 29:22
  playing
• 29:22
  soccer.
• 29:22
  I
• 29:22
  broke
• 29:23
  my
• 29:23
  wrist
• 29:23
  playing
• 29:23
  soccer.
• 29:24
  You
• 29:24
  know,
• 29:24
  I
• 29:24
  broke
• 29:25
  the
• 29:25
  other
• 29:25
  wrist
• 29:25
  playing
• 29:25
  soccer.
• 29:26
  You
• 29:26
  know,
• 29:28
  you
• 29:28
  break
• 29:28
  easy
• 29:28
  somehow,
• 29:29
  right?
• 29:30
  I
• 29:31
  think
• 29:31
  I
• 29:31
  just
• 29:31
  played
• 29:31
  hard
• 29:32
  enough.
• 29:32
  We've
• 29:32
  had
• 29:32
  three
• 29:33
  doctor
• 29:33
  trips
• 29:34
  just
• 29:34
  this
• 29:34
  week.
• 29:35
  Elbow,
• 29:35
  finger,
• 29:36
  shoulder.
• 29:37
  True.
• 29:39
  And
• 29:40
  a
• 29:40
  cold
• 29:40
  on
• 29:40
  top
• 29:41
  of
• 29:41
  it.
• 29:41
  I
• 29:41
  don't
• 29:41
  know
• 29:41
  what
• 29:41
  you're
• 29:42
  talking
• 29:42
  about.
• 29:42
  Yeah,
• 29:43
  yeah,
• 29:43
  yeah,
• 29:44
  yeah,
• 29:44
  yeah.
• 29:45
  And
• 29:45
  they
• 29:45
  don't
• 29:45
  make
• 29:45
  them
• 29:45
  like
• 29:46
  they
• 29:46
  used
• 29:46
  to.
• 29:46
  That's
• 29:46
  all
• 29:47
  I'm
• 29:47
  gonna
• 29:47
  say.
• 29:47
  Here's
• 29:47
  the
• 29:47
  thing,
• 29:48
  though.
• 29:48
  I'm
• 29:48
  paying
• 29:48
  for
• 29:48
  the
• 29:48
  stuff
• 29:49
  I
• 29:49
  did
• 29:49
  20
• 29:49
  years
• 29:49
  ago,
• 29:50
  and
• 29:50
  they
• 29:50
  don't
• 29:50
  make
• 29:50
  them
• 29:50
  like
• 29:51
  they
• 29:51
  used
• 29:51
  to.
• 29:51
  Fair
• 29:52
  point.
• 29:52
  Fair
• 29:53
  point.
• 29:53
  But
• 29:53
  that's
• 29:53
  the
• 29:53
  truth,
• 29:54
  though,
• 29:54
  you
• 29:54
  know?
• 29:54
  And,
• 29:55
  you
• 29:55
  know,
• 29:55
  it's.
• 29:55
  It's
• 29:56
  one
• 29:56
  of
• 29:56
  those
• 29:56
  things
• 29:56
  that
• 29:57
  I
• 29:57
  think
• 29:57
  that
• 29:57
  we
• 29:57
  need
• 29:57
  to,
• 29:58
  as
• 29:59
  building
• 29:59
  science
• 30:00
  people
• 30:00
  out
• 30:00
  there,
• 30:00
  get
• 30:01
  involved
• 30:01
  with
• 30:01
  our
• 30:01
  homes
• 30:02
  we've
• 30:02
  had
• 30:02
  so
• 30:03
  many
• 30:03
  times
• 30:03
  with
• 30:03
  energy
• 30:04
  efficiency.
• 30:04
  I
• 30:05
  get
• 30:05
  that
• 30:05
  we
• 30:05
  want
• 30:05
  to
• 30:06
  have
• 30:06
  energy
• 30:06
  efficiency.
• 30:07
  I
• 30:07
  mean,
• 30:07
  I
• 30:07
  get
• 30:07
  that
• 30:08
  at
• 30:08
  the.
• 30:08
  At
• 30:09
  what
• 30:09
  expense,
• 30:09
  though?
• 30:10
  You
• 30:10
  know,
• 30:10
  sometimes
• 30:11
  we're
• 30:11
  getting
• 30:11
  into
• 30:11
  it
• 30:12
  now
• 30:12
  where
• 30:12
  I
• 30:12
  think
• 30:13
  some
• 30:13
  of
• 30:13
  this
• 30:13
  stuff
• 30:14
  is
• 30:14
  getting
• 30:14
  so
• 30:14
  ridiculous
• 30:15
  that
• 30:16
  you're
• 30:16
  just
• 30:16
  making
• 30:17
  it
• 30:17
  harder
• 30:18
  for
• 30:18
  people
• 30:18
  to
• 30:18
  get
• 30:18
  into
• 30:19
  affordable
• 30:19
  housing.
• 30:20
  Well,
• 30:20
  that's
• 30:20
  exactly
• 30:21
  what
• 30:21
  it
• 30:21
  is.
• 30:21
  Right?
• 30:21
  It's.
• 30:22
  It's.
• 30:23
  And
• 30:23
  I'm
• 30:23
  going
• 30:23
  to
• 30:23
  relate
• 30:24
  it
• 30:24
  just
• 30:24
  because
• 30:24
  I'm
• 30:25
  mainly
• 30:25
  doing
• 30:26
  computer
• 30:26
  work
• 30:26
  now.
• 30:27
  Right.
• 30:27
  So
• 30:27
  I'm
• 30:28
  going
• 30:28
  to.
• 30:28
  I'm
• 30:28
  going
• 30:28
  to
• 30:28
  relate
• 30:29
  it
• 30:29
  to
• 30:29
  the
• 30:29
  fact
• 30:29
  that
• 30:30
  I
• 30:31
  was
• 30:31
  talking
• 30:31
  with
• 30:31
  AI
• 30:32
  last
• 30:32
  night.
• 30:32
  I'm
• 30:33
  like,
• 30:34
  the
• 30:34
  more
• 30:34
  resources
• 30:35
  and
• 30:35
  the
• 30:35
  more
• 30:35
  tools
• 30:35
  I
• 30:36
  find,
• 30:36
  I
• 30:36
  realize
• 30:36
  I
• 30:37
  could
• 30:37
  legitimately
• 30:38
  just
• 30:38
  say,
• 30:38
  start
• 30:38
  this
• 30:39
  business,
• 30:39
  assign
• 30:39
  three
• 30:40
  agents
• 30:40
  to
• 30:40
  run
• 30:40
  it
• 30:41
  and
• 30:41
  send
• 30:41
  me
• 30:41
  a
• 30:42
  check.
• 30:42
  I
• 30:42
  mean,
• 30:42
  that's
• 30:43
  kind
• 30:43
  of
• 30:43
  where
• 30:43
  we're
• 30:43
  at
• 30:43
  with
• 30:44
  technology.
• 30:44
  And
• 30:45
  we're
• 30:45
  still
• 30:45
  creating
• 30:45
  rules
• 30:46
  like,
• 30:46
  no,
• 30:46
  you
• 30:46
  need
• 30:47
  to
• 30:47
  put
• 30:47
  the
• 30:47
  nails
• 30:48
  every
• 30:48
  two
• 30:49
  and
• 30:49
  a
• 30:49
  Half
• 30:49
  inches
• 30:49
  now
• 30:50
  instead
• 30:50
  of
• 30:50
  every
• 30:50
  three.
• 30:50
  We're
• 30:51
  just
• 30:51
  making
• 30:51
  stuff
• 30:52
  up
• 30:52
  because
• 30:52
  they've
• 30:53
  kind
• 30:53
  of
• 30:53
  ruled
• 30:54
  themselves
• 30:55
  out
• 30:55
  of
• 30:55
  rules.
• 30:56
  Yeah.
• 30:57
  Right.
• 30:58
  So
• 30:58
  now
• 30:58
  how
• 30:59
  do
• 30:59
  we
• 30:59
  keep
• 30:59
  the
• 30:59
  money
• 30:59
  flowing?
• 31:00
  Well,
• 31:00
  we
• 31:00
  just
• 31:00
  keep
• 31:01
  making
• 31:01
  stuff
• 31:01
  up.
• 31:01
  Whether
• 31:02
  it's
• 31:02
  stupid
• 31:02
  or
• 31:02
  not.
• 31:03
  Let's
• 31:03
  make
• 31:03
  it
• 31:03
  up
• 31:03
  this
• 31:04
  year.
• 31:04
  In
• 31:04
  10
• 31:04
  years
• 31:05
  from
• 31:05
  now,
• 31:05
  we
• 31:05
  can
• 31:05
  remake
• 31:06
  up
• 31:06
  something
• 31:06
  else
• 31:07
  to
• 31:07
  fix
• 31:07
  it.
• 31:07
  And
• 31:07
  we
• 31:08
  already
• 31:08
  know
• 31:08
  it's
• 31:08
  a
• 31:08
  bad
• 31:08
  idea.
• 31:09
  Right.
• 31:09
  And
• 31:09
  that
• 31:10
  goes
• 31:10
  right
• 31:10
  back
• 31:10
  to
• 31:10
  you
• 31:11
  talking
• 31:11
  about
• 31:11
  wrapping
• 31:11
  these
• 31:12
  houses
• 31:12
  again,
• 31:12
  like
• 31:12
  they're
• 31:13
  talking
• 31:13
  about.
• 31:13
  Well,
• 31:14
  we
• 31:14
  also
• 31:14
  have
• 31:14
  to
• 31:14
  fix
• 31:15
  expectations
• 31:15
  because
• 31:16
  you
• 31:16
  look
• 31:16
  back
• 31:16
  in
• 31:16
  the
• 31:16
  30s
• 31:17
  and
• 31:17
  40s,
• 31:17
  entry
• 31:18
  level
• 31:18
  homes
• 31:19
  were
• 31:19
  900
• 31:19
  square
• 31:20
  feet.
• 31:20
  There
• 31:20
  were
• 31:20
  two
• 31:21
  bedrooms,
• 31:21
  one
• 31:21
  bath.
• 31:22
  Yeah,
• 31:22
  right.
• 31:22
  Everybody
• 31:23
  wants
• 31:23
  2500
• 31:24
  to
• 31:24
  3000
• 31:24
  now.
• 31:24
  They
• 31:25
  want
• 31:25
  3000.
• 31:26
  They
• 31:26
  want.
• 31:26
  They
• 31:27
  want
• 31:27
  level
• 31:27
  five
• 31:27
  finished
• 31:28
  in
• 31:28
  the
• 31:28
  walls,
• 31:28
  want
• 31:28
  the
• 31:29
  latest
• 31:29
  H
• 31:29
  vac
• 31:30
  system.
• 31:30
  That's
• 31:30
  $35,000.
• 31:31
  And
• 31:32
  then
• 31:32
  they're
• 31:32
  wondering
• 31:32
  why
• 31:33
  that
• 31:33
  house
• 31:33
  is
• 31:33
  at
• 31:33
  $550
• 31:34
  a
• 31:34
  square
• 31:35
  foot.
• 31:35
  Yeah.
• 31:35
  Yeah.
• 31:36
  And
• 31:36
  I
• 31:36
  think
• 31:36
  that
• 31:37
  it's
• 31:37
  one
• 31:37
  of
• 31:37
  those
• 31:37
  things
• 31:37
  that
• 31:37
  we
• 31:38
  need
• 31:38
  to
• 31:38
  get.
• 31:38
  Great
• 31:39
  example,
• 31:39
  Oregon.
• 31:40
  Right
• 31:40
  now
• 31:40
  they're
• 31:40
  just
• 31:40
  getting
• 31:41
  ready
• 31:41
  to
• 31:41
  pass
• 31:41
  some
• 31:41
  stuff
• 31:41
  here
• 31:42
  in
• 31:42
  my
• 31:42
  state,
• 31:42
  which
• 31:42
  I
• 31:42
  just
• 31:43
  saw.
• 31:43
  And
• 31:43
  I'm
• 31:43
  like,
• 31:43
  I
• 31:43
  think
• 31:44
  it
• 31:44
  might
• 31:44
  have
• 31:44
  already
• 31:44
  be
• 31:44
  passed
• 31:45
  start
• 31:45
  in
• 31:45
  two
• 31:46
  years.
• 31:46
  You
• 31:46
  can't
• 31:46
  even
• 31:46
  put
• 31:46
  in
• 31:47
  a
• 31:47
  gas
• 31:47
  furnace
• 31:47
  because
• 31:48
  everything
• 31:48
  has
• 31:48
  to
• 31:48
  be
• 31:48
  a
• 31:49
  heat
• 31:49
  pump.
• 31:49
  Really?
• 31:50
  Yeah.
• 31:50
  And
• 31:50
  I'm
• 31:51
  like,
• 31:51
  I
• 31:52
  like
• 31:52
  my
• 31:52
  gas
• 31:52
  furnace.
• 31:53
  Wow.
• 31:54
  That's,
• 31:54
  you
• 31:54
  know,
• 31:55
  again,
• 31:55
  it's
• 31:56
  kind
• 31:56
  of
• 31:56
  just
• 31:56
  making
• 31:57
  stuff
• 31:57
  up
• 31:57
  at
• 31:57
  this
• 31:57
  point.
• 31:58
  It
• 31:58
  drives
• 31:58
  me
• 31:58
  crazy.
• 31:59
  Drives
• 31:59
  me
• 31:59
  crazy.
• 32:00
  All
• 32:00
  right,
• 32:00
  brother,
• 32:01
  we
• 32:01
  come
• 32:01
  back.
• 32:02
  Let's
• 32:02
  dive
• 32:02
  into
• 32:03
  one
• 32:03
  more
• 32:03
  piece
• 32:04
  on
• 32:04
  this
• 32:04
  which
• 32:05
  we're
• 32:05
  going
• 32:05
  to
• 32:05
  start
• 32:06
  talking
• 32:06
  about,
• 32:06
  which
• 32:06
  I
• 32:07
  love.
• 32:07
  And
• 32:07
  we're
• 32:07
  just
• 32:07
  going
• 32:07
  to
• 32:07
  tease
• 32:08
  it
• 32:08
  as
• 32:08
  that
• 32:08
  because
• 32:09
  this
• 32:09
  will
• 32:09
  be
• 32:09
  going
• 32:09
  to
• 32:09
  be
• 32:09
  another
• 32:10
  hot
• 32:10
  subject.
• 32:10
  We'll
• 32:11
  do
• 32:11
  that
• 32:11
  just
• 32:11
  as
• 32:11
  soon
• 32:11
  as
• 32:12
  around
• 32:12
  the
• 32:12

• 32:12
  returns
• 32:13

• 32:13

  change
• 32:13
  that
• 32:14
  dial.
• 32:14
  Man,
• 32:14
  I
• 32:14
  had

  so.

  how
• 34:58
  we're
• 34:58
  building
• 34:58
  them
• 34:58
  now.
• 34:59
  Were
• 34:59
  they
• 34:59

• 34:59

• 35:00
  then,
• 35:00
  Are
• 35:00
  they
• 35:01

• 35:01
  now?
• 35:02
  That
• 35:02
  answer
• 35:02
  is
• 35:02
  probably
• 35:03
  somewhere
• 35:03
  in
• 35:03
  the
• 35:03
  middle
• 35:03
  of

  this,

• 35:04
  where
• 35:04
  you're
• 35:05
  coming
• 35:05
  from.
• 35:05
  It's
• 35:06
  a
• 35:06
  pretty
• 35:06
  complex
• 35:07
  answer
• 35:08
  if
• 35:08
  you
• 35:08
  think
• 35:08
  about
• 35:08
  it.
• 35:09
  But
• 35:09
  John,
• 35:10
  you
• 35:10
  were
• 35:10
  just
• 35:10
  bringing
• 35:10
  up
• 35:10
  something
• 35:11
  here
• 35:11
  in
• 35:11
  the
• 35:11
  break
• 35:12
  that's
• 35:13
  important.
• 35:13
  I
• 35:14
  think
• 35:14
  we
• 35:14
  were
• 35:14
  just
• 35:14
  talking
• 35:15
  about
• 35:15
  the
• 35:15
  different
• 35:15
  cycles
• 35:16
  of
• 35:16

• 35:16
  and
• 35:16
  how
• 35:17
  things
• 35:17
  go
• 35:17
  out
• 35:17
  there.
• 35:18
  Where
• 35:18
  are
• 35:19
  you
• 35:19
  going
• 35:19
  with
• 35:19
  that?
• 35:20
  I'll
• 35:21
  tell
• 35:21
  you
• 35:21
  what
• 35:21
  I
• 35:21
  saw
• 35:22
  being
• 35:22
  a
• 35:22
  contractor
• 35:23
  in
• 35:23
  the
• 35:24
  90s
• 35:24
  and
• 35:24
  2000s,
• 35:26
  depending
• 35:27
  on
• 35:27
  whether
• 35:27
  we
• 35:28
  were
• 35:28
  talking
• 35:28
  earlier
• 35:28
  about
• 35:29
  application
• 35:29
  and
• 35:30
  materials.
• 35:30
  And
• 35:30
  I
• 35:30
  think
• 35:30
  a
• 35:31
  lot
• 35:31
  of
• 35:31
  that
• 35:31
  gets
• 35:31
  affected
• 35:32
  by
• 35:32
  the
• 35:32
  economy
• 35:33
  because
• 35:34
  we
• 35:34
  were
• 35:34
  booming
• 35:35
  at
• 35:36
  one
• 35:36
  point.
• 35:37
  Yeah.
• 35:37
  And
• 35:37
  everybody
• 35:38
  with
• 35:38
  a
• 35:38
  Toyota
• 35:39
  Celica
• 35:39
  and
• 35:39
  a
• 35:39
  skill
• 35:40
  saw
• 35:40
  was
• 35:40
  a
• 35:40
  framer
• 35:41
  or
• 35:41
  a
• 35:42
  general
• 35:42
  contractor.
• 35:44
  And
• 35:44
  you
• 35:44
  had
• 35:44
  to
• 35:45
  bid
• 35:45
  stuff
• 35:45
  at,
• 35:45
  oh,
• 35:46
  frame
• 35:46
  a
• 35:46
  3000
• 35:47
  square
• 35:47
  foot
• 35:47
  house
• 35:48
  for
• 35:48
  $1300
• 35:49
  like
• 35:49
  it
• 35:49
  was
• 35:49
  insanity.
• 35:50
  Like
• 35:51
  you
• 35:51
  couldn't
• 35:51
  pay
• 35:51
  for
• 35:51
  nails
• 35:52
  and
• 35:52
  people
• 35:52
  were
• 35:53
  doing
• 35:53
  it.
• 35:53
  I
• 35:54
  think
• 35:54
  that
• 35:54
  affects
• 35:55
  a
• 35:55
  lot
• 35:55
  of.
• 35:56
  Again,
• 35:56
  back
• 35:56
  to
• 35:57
  the
• 35:57
  engineering
• 35:58
  leaps
• 35:58
  and
• 35:58
  bounds
• 35:59
  we've
• 35:59
  created
• 36:00
  and
• 36:00
  done
• 36:00
  and
• 36:00
  found
• 36:01
  and
• 36:02
  instrumented.
• 36:03
  Brilliant.
• 36:04
  Yeah.
• 36:04
  One
• 36:04
  jackass
• 36:05
  does
• 36:05
  all
• 36:06
  that
• 36:06
  wrong.
• 36:06
  It
• 36:06
  doesn't
• 36:06
  pay
• 36:07
  attention.
• 36:07
  Or
• 36:07
  one
• 36:07
  inspector
• 36:08
  lets
• 36:09
  it
• 36:09
  slide.
• 36:09
  Or
• 36:10
  right,
• 36:11
  one
• 36:11
  bad
• 36:12
  material
• 36:12
  call
• 36:13
  that
• 36:13
  we
• 36:13
  thought
• 36:13
  was
• 36:14
  a
• 36:14
  great
• 36:14
  idea
• 36:15
  and
• 36:15
  we
• 36:15
  found
• 36:15
  out
• 36:16
  five
• 36:16
  years
• 36:16
  later.
• 36:16
  But
• 36:17
  it
• 36:17
  was
• 36:17
  saving
• 36:17
  costs
• 36:17
  at
• 36:18
  the
• 36:18
  time
• 36:18
  and
• 36:18
  I
• 36:18
  had
• 36:18
  to
• 36:18
  build
• 36:19
  fast
• 36:19
  because
• 36:19
  the
• 36:20
  economy
• 36:20
  was
• 36:20
  booming.
• 36:21
  Right.
• 36:22
  I
• 36:22
  think
• 36:23
  it
• 36:23
  makes
• 36:23
  a
• 36:23
  huge
• 36:24
  difference
• 36:25
  and
• 36:25
  we
• 36:25
  need
• 36:26
  those
• 36:26
  cycles
• 36:26
  because
• 36:27
  what
• 36:27
  it
• 36:27
  does
• 36:27
  is
• 36:27
  it
• 36:27
  sifts
• 36:28
  out
• 36:28
  the
• 36:28
  riff
• 36:28
  raff.
• 36:29
  Right.
• 36:29
  You're
• 36:29
  like,
• 36:29
  okay,
• 36:30
  dude,
• 36:31
  work
• 36:31
  is
• 36:31
  scarce
• 36:32
  and
• 36:32
  only
• 36:33
  the
• 36:33
  right.
• 36:34
  Only
• 36:34
  the
• 36:34
  good
• 36:34
  guys
• 36:35
  and
• 36:35
  the
• 36:35
  strong
• 36:35
  and
• 36:36
  the
• 36:36
  guys
• 36:36
  that
• 36:36
  are
• 36:36
  doing
• 36:37
  it
• 36:37
  right
• 36:37
  and
• 36:37
  honestly
• 36:38
  really
• 36:38
  survive
• 36:38
  that.
• 36:39
  You
• 36:39
  got
• 36:39
  a
• 36:39
  Celica
• 36:40
  and
• 36:40
  a
• 36:40
  drug
• 36:40
  habit,
• 36:41
  you're
• 36:41
  probably
• 36:41
  not
• 36:42
  gonna
• 36:42
  make
• 36:42
  it.
• 36:43
  You're
• 36:43
  the
• 36:43
  painter
• 36:44
  that's
• 36:44
  doing
• 36:44
  meth.
• 36:45
  Yeah.
• 36:47
  And
• 36:47
  when
• 36:47
  it's
• 36:47
  crazy,
• 36:48
  you
• 36:48
  just
• 36:49
  use
• 36:49
  those
• 36:49
  guys
• 36:49
  because
• 36:49
  you
• 36:50
  got
• 36:50
  no
• 36:50
  choice
• 36:50
  and
• 36:50
  you
• 36:50
  need
• 36:51
  a
• 36:51
  dude.
• 36:51
  That's
• 36:51
  just
• 36:52
  it.
• 36:52
  You
• 36:52
  got
• 36:52
  right.
• 36:53
  Yeah.
• 36:53
  You're
• 36:53
  like,
• 36:53
  man,
• 36:53
  I
• 36:54
  gotta
• 36:54
  get
• 36:54
  this
• 36:54
  done.
• 36:55
  Whatever.
• 36:55
  I'll
• 36:56
  just
• 36:56
  turn
• 36:56
  my
• 36:56
  head
• 36:56
  while
• 36:57
  you
• 36:57
  do
• 36:57
  your
• 36:57
  math.
• 36:57
  But
• 36:58
  definitely
• 36:58
  affects
• 36:59
  how
• 37:00
  these
• 37:00
  houses
• 37:00
  last
• 37:01
  and
• 37:01
  stand.
• 37:02
  And
• 37:02
  it's
• 37:02
  not
• 37:02
  the
• 37:03
  fault
• 37:03
  of
• 37:03
  engineering
• 37:04
  always
• 37:04
  for
• 37:05
  sure.
• 37:05
  I
• 37:06
  follow
• 37:06
  this
• 37:06
  home
• 37:06
  inspection
• 37:07
  guy
• 37:07
  on
• 37:07
  social
• 37:08
  media.
• 37:08
  Sigh.
• 37:09
  And
• 37:10
  oh
• 37:10
  my
• 37:10
  gosh,
• 37:11
  he
• 37:11
  is
• 37:11
  down
• 37:12
  in
• 37:12
  the
• 37:12
  Phoenix
• 37:13
  area.
• 37:14
  This
• 37:14
  dude
• 37:15
  only
• 37:15
  inspects
• 37:16
  brand
• 37:16
  new
• 37:16
  homes.
• 37:17
  Uh
• 37:17
  huh.
• 37:18
  Cy
• 37:19
  Porter.
• 37:20
  Love
• 37:20
  this
• 37:20
  dude.
• 37:21
  And
• 37:22
  oh
• 37:22
  my
• 37:22
  gosh,
• 37:23
  the
• 37:23
  stuff
• 37:24
  that
• 37:24
  gets
• 37:24
  passed
• 37:25
  off
• 37:25
  in
• 37:25
  the
• 37:25
  Phoenix
• 37:25
  area
• 37:27
  is
• 37:27
  mind
• 37:27
  blowing
• 37:28
  at
• 37:28
  how
• 37:29
  bad
• 37:29
  some
• 37:29
  of
• 37:29
  these
• 37:29
  big
• 37:30
  builders
• 37:30
  are
• 37:30
  down
• 37:30
  there.
• 37:31
  And
• 37:31
  I
• 37:31
  get
• 37:31
  there
• 37:32
  in
• 37:32
  a
• 37:32
  boom.
• 37:33
  We
• 37:33
  in
• 37:34
  the
• 37:34
  Pacific
• 37:34
  Northwest
• 37:35
  because
• 37:35
  of
• 37:35
  how
• 37:36
  they're
• 37:36
  running
• 37:36
  things
• 37:36
  here.
• 37:37
  We're
• 37:37
  not
• 37:37
  in
• 37:37
  a
• 37:38
  boom.
• 37:38
  Yeah.
• 37:39
  So
• 37:39
  the
• 37:39
  people
• 37:39
  that
• 37:39
  are
• 37:39
  coming
• 37:40
  out
• 37:40
  of
• 37:41
  Washington,
• 37:42
  Oregon,
• 37:42
  California
• 37:44
  are
• 37:44
  going
• 37:45
  Texas,
• 37:46
  Arizona.
• 37:46
  Yep,
• 37:47
  yep.
• 37:47
  Going
• 37:48
  to
• 37:48
  those
• 37:48
  kind
• 37:48
  of
• 37:48
  places.
• 37:49
  It's
• 37:49
  a
• 37:49
  perfect
• 37:49
  example
• 37:50
  because
• 37:51
  this
• 37:51
  guy
• 37:51
  goes
• 37:51
  through
• 37:52
  and
• 37:52
  does
• 37:52
  the
• 37:52
  either
• 37:53
  one
• 37:53
  year
• 37:53
  home
• 37:53
  inspection
• 37:54
  at
• 37:54
  the
• 37:54
  end
• 37:54
  of
• 37:54
  the
• 37:54
  warranty
• 37:54
  period
• 37:56
  or
• 37:56
  does
• 37:56
  the
• 37:56
  other
• 37:57
  stuff.
• 37:57
  And
• 37:58
  he
• 37:59
  is
• 37:59
  almost
• 38:00
  getting
• 38:00
  in
• 38:00
  brawls
• 38:01
  even
• 38:01
  with
• 38:02
  gas
• 38:02
  companies
• 38:03
  because
• 38:03
  he'll
• 38:03
  go
• 38:03
  out
• 38:04
  and
• 38:04
  measure
• 38:04
  that
• 38:04
  there's
• 38:05
  a
• 38:05
  gas
• 38:05
  leak
• 38:05
  on
• 38:05
  the
• 38:05
  outside
• 38:05
  of
• 38:06
  the
• 38:06
  house.
• 38:06
  Calls
• 38:06
  the
• 38:06
  gas
• 38:06
  company
• 38:07
  up
• 38:07
  and
• 38:07
  then
• 38:07
  the
• 38:07
  gas
• 38:07
  company
• 38:08
  goes
• 38:08
  and
• 38:09
  he's.
• 38:09
  Every
• 38:09
  one
• 38:09
  of
• 38:09
  these
• 38:10
  meters
• 38:10
  I'm
• 38:11
  testing
• 38:11
  is
• 38:12
  leaking.
• 38:13
  And
• 38:13
  he
• 38:13
  has
• 38:13
  the
• 38:14
  videos
• 38:14
  of
• 38:14
  them
• 38:14
  on
• 38:14
  his
• 38:15
  website.
• 38:15
  And
• 38:15
  then
• 38:15
  the
• 38:16
  one
• 38:16
  gas
• 38:16
  company
• 38:17
  guy
• 38:17
  was
• 38:17
  like
• 38:18
  threatening
• 38:18
  him
• 38:19
  on
• 38:19
  camera.
• 38:20
  Unbelievable.
• 38:21
  And
• 38:21
  it
• 38:21
  was
• 38:21
  just
• 38:22
  crazy.
• 38:22
  And
• 38:22
  the
• 38:23
  people,
• 38:23
  you're
• 38:23
  seeing
• 38:24
  stucco
• 38:25
  that
• 38:25
  you
• 38:25
  can
• 38:26
  still
• 38:26
  see
• 38:26
  the
• 38:26
  chicken
• 38:26
  wire
• 38:27
  and
• 38:27
  you're
• 38:27
  seeing
• 38:28
  roof
• 38:28
  trusses
• 38:29
  that
• 38:29
  were
• 38:29
  broken
• 38:30
  when
• 38:30
  they
• 38:30
  were
• 38:31
  installed.
• 38:31
  It's
• 38:32
  exactly
• 38:32
  what
• 38:32
  I'm
• 38:32
  talking
• 38:33
  about.
• 38:33
  We
• 38:33
  don't
• 38:34
  have
• 38:34
  time
• 38:34
  for
• 38:34
  that.
• 38:35
  Meanwhile,
• 38:36
  50
• 38:36
  gas
• 38:36
  meters
• 38:37
  is
• 38:37
  leaking.
• 38:37
  No
• 38:37
  big
• 38:38
  deal.
• 38:38
  No
• 38:39
  big
• 38:39
  deal.
• 38:39
  It's
• 38:39
  a
• 38:40
  non
• 38:40
  smoking
• 38:40
  community.
• 38:42
  Oh
• 38:42
  man.
• 38:43
  It
• 38:43
  is
• 38:44
  absolutely
• 38:45
  insane
• 38:46
  the
• 38:46
  stuff
• 38:46
  that
• 38:46
  you
• 38:46
  see.
• 38:47
  And
• 38:48
  it
• 38:48
  drives
• 38:49
  me
• 38:49
  crazy
• 38:49
  to
• 38:49
  see
• 38:49
  that.
• 38:50
  And
• 38:50
  I've
• 38:50
  wondered
• 38:50
  that
• 38:50
  because
• 38:51
  I
• 38:51
  had
• 38:51
  a
• 38:51
  buddy
• 38:51
  that
• 38:51
  used
• 38:51
  to
• 38:52
  work
• 38:52
  on
• 38:52
  this
• 38:52
  show
• 38:52
  as
• 38:53
  a
• 38:53
  board
• 38:53
  op
• 38:53
  years
• 38:53
  ago
• 38:55
  and
• 38:55
  he
• 38:55
  moved
• 38:55
  there
• 38:55
  and
• 38:56
  his
• 38:56
  buddies
• 38:56
  that
• 38:56
  were
• 38:56
  in
• 38:56
  the
• 38:57
  area
• 38:57
  were
• 38:57
  coming
• 38:57
  by
• 38:57
  and
• 38:57
  filming
• 38:58
  it
• 38:58
  and
• 38:58
  posting
• 38:58
  up
• 38:59
  on
• 38:59
  social
• 38:59
  media
• 38:59
  for
• 38:59
  his
• 38:59
  house
• 39:00
  being
• 39:00
  built.
• 39:00
  Yeah.
• 39:01
  And
• 39:02
  I'm
• 39:02
  seeing
• 39:02
  the
• 39:02
  whole
• 39:03
  house
• 39:03
  get
• 39:03
  built.
• 39:04
  No
• 39:04
  windows
• 39:05
  in
• 39:05
  it.
• 39:05
  Drywall's
• 39:06
  done
• 39:06
  on
• 39:06
  the
• 39:06
  inside.
• 39:07
  Still
• 39:07
  no
• 39:07
  windows
• 39:08
  in
• 39:08
  it.
• 39:08
  Wow.
• 39:10
  I'm
• 39:11
  sitting
• 39:11
  here
• 39:11
  thinking
• 39:11
  about
• 39:12
  can
• 39:12
  you
• 39:12
  imagine
• 39:13
  the
• 39:13
  dirt
• 39:14
  and
• 39:14
  the
• 39:14
  dust
• 39:15
  from
• 39:15
  the
• 39:15
  wind
• 39:15
  blowing
• 39:16
  down
• 39:16
  there
• 39:16
  that's
• 39:16
  now
• 39:16
  in
• 39:17
  your
• 39:18
  air
• 39:18
  conditioning
• 39:19
  ducts?
• 39:19
  Because
• 39:20
  there's
• 39:20
  all
• 39:21
  that
• 39:21
  stuff
• 39:21
  loves
• 39:21
  to
• 39:21
  go
• 39:21
  into
• 39:22
  the
• 39:22
  floor,
• 39:22
  into
• 39:22
  the
• 39:22
  field.
• 39:22
  You
• 39:23
  know
• 39:23
  what
• 39:23
  I
• 39:23
  mean?
• 39:23
  Oh,
• 39:24
  I
• 39:24
  do.
• 39:24
  I
• 39:24
  lived
• 39:24
  there
• 39:24
  for
• 39:25
  eight
• 39:25
  years,
• 39:25
  brother.
• 39:25
  I
• 39:25
  know
• 39:26
  exactly.
• 39:30
  No,
• 39:31
  it's.
• 39:31
  No,
• 39:31
  the
• 39:31
  dust
• 39:32
  is
• 39:33
  insidious
• 39:34
  down
• 39:34
  there.
• 39:34
  It's
• 39:34
  crazy.
• 39:35
  And
• 39:35
  I
• 39:36
  saw
• 39:36
  them
• 39:36
  pouring
• 39:36
  the
• 39:37
  concrete
• 39:37
  and
• 39:37
  they're
• 39:37
  out
• 39:38
  there
• 39:38
  with
• 39:38
  the
• 39:38
  concrete
• 39:39
  truck
• 39:40
  landing
• 39:40
  it
• 39:40
  on
• 39:41
  dirt.
• 39:41
  It
• 39:41
  is
• 39:42
  the
• 39:42
  virgin
• 39:42
  ground
• 39:43
  that
• 39:43
  they're
• 39:43
  pouring
• 39:43
  it
• 39:44
  over
• 39:44
  the
• 39:44
  top
• 39:44
  of.
• 39:45
  Yeah.
• 39:45
  There's
• 39:46
  no
• 39:46
  foam
• 39:46
  going
• 39:47
  down.
• 39:47
  There's
• 39:47
  no
• 39:48
  ground
• 39:48
  prep.
• 39:49
  They
• 39:49
  just
• 39:50
  dug
• 39:50
  the
• 39:50
  footing
• 39:51
  out
• 39:51
  around
• 39:51
  the
• 39:51
  outside.
• 39:52
  And
• 39:52
  there
• 39:53
  you
• 39:53
  could
• 39:53
  see
• 39:53
  they
• 39:53
  didn't
• 39:54
  even
• 39:54
  wet
• 39:54
  it
• 39:54
  down.
• 39:54
  There
• 39:54
  was
• 39:55
  dust
• 39:55
  coming
• 39:55
  off
• 39:55
  of
• 39:56
  it
• 39:56
  as
• 39:56
  it
• 39:56
  was
• 39:56
  hitting
• 39:56
  the
• 39:57
  ground.
• 39:58
  And
• 39:58
  I'm
• 39:58
  going,
• 39:59
  that's
• 39:59
  gonna
• 40:00
  crack.
• 40:00
  I
• 40:00
  don't
• 40:00
  care
• 40:00
  what
• 40:01
  you
• 40:01
  put
• 40:01
  in
• 40:01
  that
• 40:01
  mix.
• 40:02
  It
• 40:02
  was
• 40:02
  just
• 40:03
  one
• 40:03
  of
• 40:03
  those.
• 40:03
  You're
• 40:03
  like,
• 40:04
  holy
• 40:05
  smokes.
• 40:06
  And
• 40:06
  you
• 40:06
  just
• 40:06
  keep
• 40:06
  seeing
• 40:07
  this
• 40:07
  stuff
• 40:07
  over
• 40:07
  and
• 40:08
  over
• 40:08
  again.
• 40:08
  And
• 40:09
  this
• 40:09
  guy's
• 40:09
  got
• 40:09
  millions
• 40:10
  of
• 40:10
  followers,
• 40:10
  which
• 40:11
  I
• 40:12
  love
• 40:12
  that
• 40:13
  he's
• 40:13
  got
• 40:13
  that
• 40:13
  and
• 40:14
  he's
• 40:14
  exposing
• 40:14
  this.
• 40:15
  But
• 40:15
  he
• 40:15
  does
• 40:15
  have
• 40:16
  a
• 40:16
  very
• 40:16
  cool
• 40:16
  touch
• 40:17
  that
• 40:17
  he
• 40:17
  does
• 40:17
  on
• 40:17
  this.
• 40:18
  He
• 40:18
  never
• 40:19
  calls
• 40:19
  the
• 40:19
  builder
• 40:19
  out
• 40:20
  by
• 40:20
  name,
• 40:20
  but
• 40:20
  he
• 40:20
  tells
• 40:21
  the
• 40:21
  story.
• 40:22
  Walking
• 40:22
  by
• 40:22
  the
• 40:22
  model
• 40:23
  home
• 40:23
  with
• 40:23
  the
• 40:23
  model
• 40:24
  home
• 40:24
  sign
• 40:24
  of
• 40:24
  the
• 40:25
  builder's
• 40:25
  name
• 40:25
  on
• 40:25
  it
• 40:26
  on
• 40:26
  the
• 40:26
  sidewalk.
• 40:27
  Yeah,
• 40:27
  I'm
• 40:28
  not
• 40:28
  gonna
• 40:28
  say
• 40:28
  any
• 40:28
  names
• 40:29
  here,
• 40:29
  but
• 40:29
  you'll
• 40:30
  notice.
• 40:30
  And
• 40:31
  if
• 40:31
  you
• 40:31
  notice
• 40:31
  the
• 40:31
  big
• 40:32
  sign
• 40:32
  over
• 40:32
  my
• 40:32
  shoulder,
• 40:33
  that's
• 40:33
  not
• 40:34
  reversed.
• 40:34
  You
• 40:34
  know,
• 40:35
  again,
• 40:35
  I
• 40:36
  think
• 40:36
  that
• 40:37
  speaks
• 40:37
  directly
• 40:38
  to
• 40:38
  one
• 40:39
  of
• 40:39
  the
• 40:39
  biggest
• 40:39
  points
• 40:39
  of
• 40:40
  this
• 40:40
  entire
• 40:40
  conversation.
• 40:41
  It's
• 40:41
  not
• 40:41
  necessarily
• 40:42
  that
• 40:42
  all
• 40:43
  this
• 40:43
  engineering
• 40:43
  is
• 40:44
  bad.
• 40:44
  It's
• 40:44
  not
• 40:44
  necessarily
• 40:45
  that
• 40:45
  the
• 40:46
  older
• 40:46
  is
• 40:46
  better.
• 40:47
  Back
• 40:47
  in
• 40:47
  the
• 40:48
  day,
• 40:48
  we
• 40:48
  rode
• 40:49
  horses
• 40:49
  when
• 40:49
  they
• 40:49
  were
• 40:50
  building
• 40:50
  those
• 40:50
  houses,
• 40:51
  and
• 40:51
  there
• 40:51
  was
• 40:51
  no
• 40:51
  television
• 40:52
  and
• 40:52
  there
• 40:52
  was
• 40:53
  no
• 40:53
  social
• 40:53
  media
• 40:53
  and
• 40:54
  there
• 40:54
  was
• 40:54
  no
• 40:54
  Starbucks,
• 40:55
  and,
• 40:56
  oh,
• 40:56
  yeah,
• 40:56
  I
• 40:57
  think
• 40:57
  the
• 40:57
  craftsmanship
• 40:58
  generally
• 40:59
  got
• 40:59
  the
• 40:59
  attention
• 41:00
  it
• 41:00
  deserved,
• 41:01
  which
• 41:01
  it
• 41:02
  oftentimes
• 41:03
  doesn't.
• 41:03
  Now
• 41:04
  and
• 41:04
  again,
• 41:04
  we're
• 41:05
  back
• 41:05
  to
• 41:05
  57
• 41:06
  Chevy,
• 41:06
  87
• 41:07
  Geometro.
• 41:07
  Like,
• 41:08
  does
• 41:08
  the
• 41:08
  Geometro
• 41:09
  go
• 41:09
  for
• 41:10
  200,000
• 41:10
  miles?
• 41:11
  Probably?
• 41:12
  Yeah,
• 41:12
  absolutely.
• 41:13
  I'm
• 41:13
  going
• 41:13
  to
• 41:13
  show
• 41:13
  you
• 41:13
  up
• 41:13
  here
• 41:13
  on
• 41:14
  this
• 41:14
  guy's
• 41:14
  page
• 41:15
  on
• 41:16
  some
• 41:16
  of
• 41:16
  the
• 41:16
  stuff
• 41:16
  he
• 41:17
  catches
• 41:17
  up
• 41:17
  here.
• 41:18
  And
• 41:19
  I
• 41:19
  tell
• 41:19
  you
• 41:19
  what,
• 41:20
  look
• 41:20
  at
• 41:20
  the
• 41:20
  pictures
• 41:21
  on
• 41:21
  that.
• 41:22
  On
• 41:22
  the
• 41:22
  ceiling,
• 41:22
  there's
• 41:23
  an
• 41:23
  inch.
• 41:23
  That
• 41:23
  ceiling
• 41:24
  is
• 41:24
  out
• 41:25
  by
• 41:25
  an
• 41:25
  inch
• 41:25
  in
• 41:25
  the
• 41:26
  middle
• 41:26
  of
• 41:26
  it.
• 41:26
  And
• 41:27
  then
• 41:27
  he
• 41:27
  goes
• 41:27
  up
• 41:27
  here
• 41:28
  into.
• 41:29
  There's
• 41:29
  a
• 41:29
  gas
• 41:29
  meter
• 41:30
  that's
• 41:30
  beeping.
• 41:31
  Then
• 41:31
  you
• 41:31
  see
• 41:31
  the
• 41:32
  broken
• 41:32
  trusses
• 41:33
  that
• 41:34
  are
• 41:34
  in
• 41:34
  there,
• 41:34
  and
• 41:35
  I
• 41:35
  can
• 41:35
  stick
• 41:35
  my
• 41:35
  hand
• 41:35
  through
• 41:36
  that
• 41:36
  truss.
• 41:37
  And
• 41:37
  so
• 41:37
  there's
• 41:38
  a
• 41:38
  lot
• 41:38
  of
• 41:38
  stuff
• 41:38
  that
• 41:38
  you
• 41:39
  see
• 41:39
  out
• 41:39
  there
• 41:39
  where
• 41:39
  they
• 41:39
  forgot
• 41:40
  to
• 41:40
  put
• 41:40
  insulation
• 41:40
  in.
• 41:41
  But,
• 41:41
  oh,
• 41:42
  my
• 41:42
  gosh,
• 41:42
  they
• 41:42
  got
• 41:42
  the
• 41:43
  Energy
• 41:43
  Star
• 41:43
  certification
• 41:44
  done.
• 41:45
  And
• 41:46
  that
• 41:46
  was
• 41:46
  the
• 41:46
  northwest
• 41:47
  in
• 41:47
  2002.
• 41:48
  3,
• 41:49
  4,
• 41:49
  5.
• 41:50
  Like,
• 41:51
  it
• 41:51
  was
• 41:51
  just
• 41:52
  chaos.
• 41:52
  Yeah,
• 41:53
  you
• 41:53
  can
• 41:53
  see
• 41:53
  here,
• 41:53
  he's
• 41:53
  walking
• 41:54
  past
• 41:54
  this
• 41:54
  house
• 41:54
  right
• 41:55
  here.
• 41:55
  Oh,
• 41:55
  who
• 41:56
  knows
• 41:56
  what's
• 41:56
  going
• 41:56
  on
• 41:56
  here?
• 41:57
  But
• 41:57
  you
• 41:57
  can
• 41:57
  sure
• 41:57
  see
• 41:57
  who
• 41:57
  the
• 41:57
  builder
• 41:58
  is.
• 41:59
  So
• 41:59
  it's
• 41:59
  just
• 41:59
  wild.
• 42:00
  And
• 42:00
  that's
• 42:00
  one
• 42:00
  of
• 42:00
  those
• 42:00
  things
• 42:01
  that
• 42:01
  I
• 42:01
  want
• 42:01
  to
• 42:01
  make
• 42:01
  sure
• 42:01
  that
• 42:02
  people
• 42:02
  are
• 42:02
  doing.
• 42:03
  Especially
• 42:03
  if
• 42:03
  you're
• 42:03
  having
• 42:03
  a
• 42:04
  building,
• 42:04
  a
• 42:04
  new
• 42:04
  house,
• 42:05
  man.
• 42:05
  Spend
• 42:06
  the
• 42:06
  time
• 42:07
  and
• 42:09
  get
• 42:09
  those
• 42:09
  inspections
• 42:10
  done.
• 42:10
  And
• 42:10
  I
• 42:10
  would
• 42:11
  actually
• 42:11
  pay
• 42:11
  for.
• 42:11
  If
• 42:11
  I
• 42:12
  was
• 42:12
  getting
• 42:12
  a
• 42:12
  new
• 42:12
  house
• 42:12
  built
• 42:12
  today,
• 42:13
  I
• 42:13
  would
• 42:13
  actually
• 42:13
  pay
• 42:13
  for
• 42:14
  a
• 42:14
  building
• 42:15
  inspector
• 42:15
  to
• 42:15
  go
• 42:15
  buy
• 42:16
  that
• 42:16
  does
• 42:16
  new
• 42:16
  builds,
• 42:17
  to
• 42:17
  go
• 42:17
  back
• 42:17
  and
• 42:17
  do
• 42:17
  the
• 42:18
  framing
• 42:18
  inspection
• 42:19
  or
• 42:19
  a
• 42:20
  pre
• 42:20
  drywall
• 42:20
  inspection
• 42:21
  and
• 42:22
  just
• 42:22
  make
• 42:22
  sure
• 42:22
  that
• 42:22
  stuff's
• 42:23
  done.
• 42:23
  Because
• 42:24
  stuff
• 42:25
  gets
• 42:25
  missed
• 42:25
  by
• 42:25
  these
• 42:26
  inspectors.
• 42:26
  Especially
• 42:27
  if
• 42:27
  you're
• 42:27
  in
• 42:27
  a
• 42:27
  boom
• 42:28
  area.
• 42:29
  You're
• 42:29
  in
• 42:29
  a
• 42:29
  boom
• 42:29
  area.
• 42:30
  It's
• 42:30
  110
• 42:31
  degrees
• 42:31
  out.
• 42:33
  They're
• 42:33
  like,
• 42:34
  yeah,
• 42:34
  it
• 42:34
  looks
• 42:34
  fine.
• 42:34
  Dude.
• 42:35
  I've
• 42:35
  worked.
• 42:35
  I
• 42:35
  worked
• 42:35
  in
• 42:36
  that
• 42:36
  heat
• 42:36
  for
• 42:36
  years.
• 42:36
  Like,
• 42:37
  it's.
• 42:37
  I
• 42:38
  know
• 42:38
  you
• 42:38
  did.
• 42:38
  You
• 42:38
  can
• 42:39
  get
• 42:39
  a
• 42:39
  little
• 42:39
  careless
• 42:39
  and
• 42:40
  a
• 42:40
  little
• 42:40
  irritable
• 42:40
  and
• 42:41
  a
• 42:41
  little.
• 42:41
  I
• 42:41
  don't
• 42:41
  give
• 42:42
  a.
• 42:42
  Yeah.
• 42:43
  And
• 42:43
  there
• 42:43
  are
• 42:44
  so
• 42:44
  many
• 42:44
  great
• 42:45
  builders
• 42:45
  out
• 42:45
  there,
• 42:45
  but
• 42:46
  it's
• 42:46
  just
• 42:46
  like
• 42:46
  cabinet
• 42:47
  companies
• 42:47
  or
• 42:48
  flooring
• 42:49
  installers
• 42:49
  or
• 42:49
  anything
• 42:50
  else
• 42:50
  out
• 42:50
  there.
• 42:51
  There's
• 42:51
  good
• 42:51
  ones
• 42:52
  and
• 42:52
  there's
• 42:52
  bad
• 42:53
  ones.
• 42:53
  And
• 42:54
  you
• 42:55
  got
• 42:55
  to
• 42:55
  find
• 42:55
  the
• 42:55
  good
• 42:55
  ones
• 42:56
  to
• 42:56
  work
• 42:56
  with
• 42:56
  because
• 42:56
  the
• 42:57
  bad
• 42:57
  ones
• 42:58
  in
• 42:58
  the
• 42:58
  boom
• 42:58
  times
• 42:59
  show
• 42:59
  up
• 42:59
  because
• 43:00
  they
• 43:00
  were
• 43:00
  yesterday's
• 43:01
  handyman.
• 43:01
  Now
• 43:02
  they're
• 43:02
  building
• 43:02
  homes.
• 43:03
  And
• 43:03
  like
• 43:03
  right
• 43:04
  now
• 43:04
  in
• 43:04
  my
• 43:04
  area,
• 43:05
  we're
• 43:06
  on
• 43:06
  a
• 43:06
  15
• 43:07
  year
• 43:07
  slump
• 43:07
  in
• 43:08
  building
• 43:08
  and
• 43:09
  new
• 43:09
  construction
• 43:09
  starts
• 43:10
  right
• 43:10
  now.
• 43:10
  Wow.
• 43:11
  Because
• 43:11
  everybody's
• 43:11
  moving
• 43:12
  out
• 43:12
  of
• 43:12
  town.
• 43:12
  That
• 43:13
  seems
• 43:13
  odd.
• 43:13
  You
• 43:14
  know
• 43:14
  what
• 43:14
  I
• 43:14
  mean?
• 43:14
  It's
• 43:14
  just
• 43:15
  what
• 43:15
  it
• 43:15
  is.
• 43:16
  But
• 43:16
  that's
• 43:17
  what's
• 43:17
  going
• 43:17
  on.
• 43:18
  So
• 43:19
  you're
• 43:19
  just
• 43:19
  seeing
• 43:20
  so
• 43:20
  many
• 43:20
  of
• 43:20
  those
• 43:20
  things
• 43:21
  happening
• 43:21
  out
• 43:21
  there.
• 43:21
  And
• 43:22
  the
• 43:22
  other
• 43:22
  thing
• 43:22
  that
• 43:22
  I'm
• 43:23
  seeing
• 43:23
  too
• 43:23
  is
• 43:23
  materials.
• 43:24
  You
• 43:24
  think
• 43:24
  about
• 43:25
  it.
• 43:25
  Back
• 43:25
  then,
• 43:26
  before
• 43:26
  the
• 43:27
  60s,
• 43:27
  really,
• 43:28
  FHA
• 43:29
  required
• 43:30
  for
• 43:30
  you
• 43:30
  to
• 43:30
  have
• 43:30
  either
• 43:31
  a
• 43:32
  asbestos
• 43:33
  floor,
• 43:34
  hardwood.
• 43:35
  You
• 43:35
  couldn't
• 43:35
  use
• 43:35
  carpet
• 43:36
  because
• 43:36
  carpet
• 43:36
  was
• 43:37
  not
• 43:38
  considered
• 43:39
  part
• 43:39
  of
• 43:40
  fha.
• 43:40
  That's
• 43:41
  why
• 43:41
  all
• 43:41
  those
• 43:41
  homes
• 43:42
  had
• 43:43
  hardwood
• 43:44
  floors.
• 43:44
  Because
• 43:44
  if
• 43:44
  you
• 43:44
  had
• 43:45
  an
• 43:45
  FHA
• 43:45
  loan
• 43:46
  for
• 43:46
  a
• 43:46
  long
• 43:46
  time
• 43:47
  there,
• 43:47
  carpet,
• 43:47
  wall
• 43:48
  to
• 43:48
  wall
• 43:48
  carpeting
• 43:49
  was
• 43:49
  not
• 43:50
  a
• 43:51
  flooring
• 43:52
  solution
• 43:52
  that
• 43:52
  they
• 43:53
  would
• 43:53
  allow.
• 43:54
  Wow.
• 43:54
  That's
• 43:54
  why
• 43:54
  you
• 43:55
  have
• 43:55
  all
• 43:55
  these
• 43:55
  homes.
• 43:55
  You
• 43:55
  go
• 43:55
  in
• 43:55
  there
• 43:56
  and
• 43:56
  go,
• 43:56
  oh,
• 43:56
  there's
• 43:56
  hardwood
• 43:57
  underneath
• 43:57
  there.
• 43:57
  Huh?
• 43:58
  Learn
• 43:59
  something
• 43:59
  new
• 43:59
  every
• 43:59
  day.
• 44:00
  So
• 44:00
  that's
• 44:01
  why
• 44:01
  that's
• 44:01
  hiding
• 44:02
  under
• 44:02
  there.
• 44:02
  I'll
• 44:03
  tell
• 44:03
  you
• 44:03
  what.
• 44:04
  Honestly,
• 44:04
  I
• 44:05
  think
• 44:05
  that's
• 44:05
  another
• 44:05
  reason
• 44:06
  those
• 44:06
  old
• 44:07
  houses
• 44:08
  stay
• 44:08
  together.
• 44:08
  So
• 44:09
  the
• 44:09
  sheer
• 44:09
  value.
• 44:10
  And
• 44:10
  hardwood
• 44:10
  floors.
• 44:11
  Yeah,
• 44:11
  it's.
• 44:12
  I
• 44:12
  mean,
• 44:12
  it's
• 44:12
  pretty
• 44:12
  fierce,
• 44:13
  man.
• 44:13
  And
• 44:13
  they've
• 44:13
  got
• 44:14
  a
• 44:14
  diagonal
• 44:15
  with
• 44:16
  cross
• 44:16
  lateral
• 44:17
  and
• 44:17
  it.
• 44:18
  Dude,
• 44:18
  that's
• 44:18
  a
• 44:18
  sheer
• 44:19
  value
• 44:19
  of
• 44:19
  get
• 44:20
  out
• 44:20
  of
• 44:20
  here,
• 44:20
  get
• 44:20
  here.
• 44:21
  Like
• 44:21
  you're
• 44:21
  not
• 44:21
  touching
• 44:22
  that
• 44:22
  thing.
• 44:23
  My
• 44:23
  house
• 44:23
  built
• 44:24
  1960,
• 44:25
  a
• 44:25
  lot
• 44:26
  of
• 44:26
  them
• 44:26
  that
• 44:26
  one
• 44:27
  from
• 44:27
  1890
• 44:27
  you
• 44:28
  dropped
• 44:28
  four
• 44:28
  and
• 44:28
  a
• 44:29
  half
• 44:29
  inches
• 44:29
  front
• 44:29
  to
• 44:30
  back.
• 44:30
  Yeah.
• 44:31
  Jacked
• 44:31
  it
• 44:31
  up
• 44:31
  slowly,
• 44:32
  one
• 44:32
  bit
• 44:32
  at
• 44:32
  a
• 44:33
  time.
• 44:33
  But
• 44:34
  there's
• 44:34
  a
• 44:34
  reason
• 44:34
  it
• 44:34
  could
• 44:35
  drop
• 44:35
  four
• 44:35
  and
• 44:35
  a
• 44:35
  half
• 44:35
  inches
• 44:36
  and
• 44:36
  it
• 44:36
  was
• 44:37
  still
• 44:37
  okay.
• 44:37
  Look
• 44:37
  good?
• 44:38
  Yeah,
• 44:39
  it
• 44:39
  was,
• 44:40
  dude.
• 44:40
  And
• 44:40
  that's
• 44:40
  the
• 44:40
  thing.
• 44:41
  I
• 44:41
  look
• 44:41
  at
• 44:41
  my
• 44:41
  stuff
• 44:41
  here.
• 44:42
  We're
• 44:42
  gonna
• 44:42
  have
• 44:42
  to
• 44:42
  run
• 44:42
  out
• 44:42
  to
• 44:43
  break
• 44:43
  here
• 44:43
  and
• 44:43
  wrap
• 44:43
  this
• 44:43
  up.
• 44:44
  But
• 44:44
  my
• 44:44
  house
• 44:45
  had
• 44:45
  the
• 44:45
  2
• 44:45
  by
• 44:45
  6
• 44:46
  car
• 44:46
  decking
• 44:46
  with
• 44:46
  3
• 44:46
  quarter
• 44:47
  inch
• 44:47
  white
• 44:47
  oak
• 44:47
  over
• 44:48
  the
• 44:48
  top
• 44:48
  and
• 44:48
  it
• 44:48
  wasn't
• 44:48
  going
• 44:48
  anywhere.
• 44:49
  Yeah,
• 44:49
  no,
• 44:50
  yeah,
• 44:50
  no,
• 44:50
  that's
• 44:51
  a
• 44:51
  boat.
• 44:52
  All
• 44:52
  right,
• 44:52
  if
• 44:53
  you
• 44:53
  guys
• 44:53
  got
• 44:53
  comments
• 44:53
  on
• 44:54
  that,
