- 0:51Speaker 1: Hello friend, chaplain Terry Warner here.
- 1:10Speaker 1: This will be season 2025, episode number 28.
- 1:15Speaker 1: It's word-related part one.
- 1:18Speaker 1: We'll have four, five, six parts to this podcast.
- 1:27Speaker 1: You know, welcome and glad and thank you for tuning in.
- 1:31Speaker 1: I was deciding earlier that my podcasts are too wound, too tight and I'm too serious, and so I'm going to lighten her up a little bit and have some fun.
- 1:41Speaker 1: But we're going to talk about words, as we usually do word-related.
- 1:47Speaker 1: In the past I've been treated like a child when it comes up to word, taking the Bible literally.
- 1:57Speaker 1: Despite all the hypes and insults, I find the Bible to be the absolute, infallible Word of God.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I find the Bible to be the absolute, infallible Word of God.
- 2:05Speaker 1: If I don't understand it or fail to comprehend it or fail not to believe it, then it falls on me and not on the author.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Stop and think that the history and authenticity of the Bible was somehow an invented story of the creation of the world and because of my superior intellect, in 2025, I can disapprove the greatest story ever told.
- 2:35Speaker 1: I wonder what kept the Word of God from me to show up some 6,000 years later and why I was the first one to notice this.
- 2:43Speaker 1: With a wave in my hand, I could debunk the Bible.
- 2:47Speaker 1: How preposterous, how ridiculous.
- 2:55Speaker 1: I think the naysayers need to rethink, or at least go back to school for them to have more time to reconsider their conclusion.
- 3:00Speaker 1: So let's look at a couple of facts that make the Bible a book that can be trusted.
- 3:04Speaker 1: There's more to this earth than mankind.
- 3:09Speaker 1: The earth at one time was void and didn't even exist.
- 3:12Speaker 1: We are told by the Bible that God created the heavens and the earth.
- 3:16Speaker 1: How do we know that man was not even around at the beginning?
- 3:21Speaker 1: And God you know?
- 3:25Speaker 1: I guess he wrote the history book, but how did God get it to man?
- 3:28Speaker 1: And man didn't think of it himself.
- 3:31Speaker 1: There's too much going on.
- 3:32Speaker 1: The Bible is 66 books, over a couple thousand years.
- 3:37Speaker 1: Well, over a thousand years.
- 3:39Speaker 1: Maybe not a couple thousand, well over a thousand years, a long time.
- 3:43Speaker 1: And it can be trusted.
- 3:47Speaker 1: How do we know that?
- 3:50Speaker 1: It was God who created all things and all things exist through his son, jesus Christ.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Colossians 1.17.
- 3:59Speaker 1: Some time ago, we discovered that the earth was hurtling through space at a precise speed and calculated distance from the sun.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Otherwise, we would be too far from the sun to stay warm enough to survive, or we would be spinning too fast and would get slung off.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Think about it.
- 4:16Speaker 1: To survive, or we would be spinning too fast and would get slung off.
- 4:17Speaker 1: Think about it.
- 4:18Speaker 1: The small, intricate structure of the atom that was necessary to give life to everything, the law of gravity, the law of life, the law of sin and death.
- 4:28Speaker 1: Our God is love, and every other God is a fake and is used to manipulate everything.
- 4:33Speaker 1: In our short time span on earth Would wipe mankind out of existence and, in the process, destroy everything.
- 4:40Speaker 1: It takes a God, and I mean an all-out loving God, to create this universe and keep it working in order without everything colliding and causing a mess.
- 4:51Speaker 1: You can have all the big bangs you want, but a big bang never caused nothing but a bunch of trash people around everywhere.
- 4:58Speaker 1: And maybe that happened, maybe that's maybe god formed it, I don't know, I'm not.
- 5:05Speaker 1: I neither is there anybody else.
- 5:07Speaker 1: When we get to heaven, I'll ask our god is a spirit?
- 5:11Speaker 1: First of all, I said our god is love.
- 5:13Speaker 1: Our God is a spirit.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Only the true God is able to withstand and eliminate others and never lose.
- 5:21Speaker 1: He's a spirit.
- 5:22Speaker 1: Therefore, we must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- 5:26Speaker 1: John 4, 24.
- 5:29Speaker 1: God, being a spirit, is not visible to every invisible.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Being not visible to every invisible, and being the Spirit gives him the authenticity of omnipresent and not restrained to one place.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Let me see if I can take this click out of here.
- 5:47Speaker 1: Does that help a little bit?
- 5:51Speaker 1: Hey, I apologize for all that.
- 5:54Speaker 1: I would like to repeat it, but I don't think I can.
- 5:58Speaker 1: Probably the most startling fact providing authenticity is the state of Israel.
- 6:03Speaker 1: No other nation in history has been able to survive several thousand years and still have kept their integrity, culture and even their original statehood.
- 6:13Speaker 1: In other words, israel exists strictly because the God who created everything chose Israel and the Jews, or the Jewish people to be his prized possession.
- 6:26Speaker 1: Call me deficient and simple-minded, all you want.
- 6:29Speaker 1: The God of Abraham, isaac and Jacob, in other words, israel, exists forever with the Son, jesus Christ.
- 6:38Speaker 1: That is why I believe the Bible and put my trust in him, and I know beyond a shadow of a doubt when he returns I get to go to my new home in heaven.
- 6:51Speaker 1: You have a blessed day Next week.
- 6:55Speaker 1: We're going to pick up on what's your name or related or word related.
- 7:02Speaker 1: Still, lord, bless you and keep you.
- 7:03Speaker 1: The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious unto you.
- 7:06Speaker 1: The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And you're going out and you're coming in and you're rising up and you're lying down in your laughter and your tears.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Jesus christ loves you and he has come to earth and fulfilled the abrahamic covenant and fought and paid for our redemption.
- 7:30Speaker 1: Get to know.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Get to know god.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Get to know jesus, because when you leave this earth, you don't have any choice where you're going to go.
