- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York has Mark Simone
- 0:04Speaker 1: Show on sevent ten wo.
- 0:10Speaker 2: Well, Hey, everybody's back. We got a four day week.
- 0:13Speaker 2: We got a lot to talk about Greenland. What the
- 0:15Speaker 2: hell is that actually all about. We'll get to that Minnesota,
- 0:18Speaker 2: what's really going on there. The President leaves today for Davos. Now,
- 0:23Speaker 2: for years we always attack and ridicule this Davos conference.
- 0:27Speaker 2: But it's a whole different thing now. It's not the
- 0:30Speaker 2: same Davos from before. This is going to be a
- 0:32Speaker 2: whole new Davos type of conference. We'll explain. We'll get
- 0:36Speaker 2: to Mom, Donnie and his bidets. We'll get to oh,
- 0:40Speaker 2: New Jersey, it's the Yeah, it's the twentieth. You get
- 0:43Speaker 2: a new governor today, Mikey Cheryl, who's promised on your
- 0:48Speaker 2: behalf to declare war on the federal government. I don't
- 0:51Speaker 2: know what that's going to accomplish. We'll get to Josh Shapiro,
- 0:53Speaker 2: We'll get to Don Lemon, and a whole lot more
- 0:57Speaker 2: coming up. Hey, by the way, it's January twenty if
- 0:58Speaker 2: today's the one anniversary of President Trump taking office, the inauguration,
- 1:04Speaker 2: remember that cold, freezing inauguration day. It was unbelievably cold.
- 1:10Speaker 2: It was like real feel temperature was like five degrees
- 1:15Speaker 2: bitterly cold. Remember, they had to move it inside into
- 1:17Speaker 2: the Capitol rotunda. That was one year ago today. So
- 1:21Speaker 2: if you look back now on this first year, more
- 1:24Speaker 2: stuff happened, more stuff got accomplished, more controversies, more fighting,
- 1:30Speaker 2: more Trump derangement syndrome. It has been an incredible year.
- 1:35Speaker 2: And you know, we always talk about Trump derangement syndrome.
- 1:39Speaker 2: The left, the Democrats, the Liberals, they've got their own
- 1:42Speaker 2: thing they keep talking about. It's called tees. It's Trump
- 1:46Speaker 2: exhaustion syndrome. He is simply wearing them out. We've never
- 1:50Speaker 2: seen a president, or for that matter, any politician ever
- 1:55Speaker 2: behave like this guy or do things the way this
- 1:59Speaker 2: guy does. It's just fast and furious. It's NonStop. There's
- 2:03Speaker 2: action all the time. You know, this is for years
- 2:06Speaker 2: they've talked about, why can't we get somebody from the
- 2:09Speaker 2: private sector into politics into the White House, a great CEO,
- 2:14Speaker 2: a Jack Welch, who was Taka Leahkcatt one time, Why
- 2:17Speaker 2: can't we get somebody like that input. Well we finally did.
- 2:21Speaker 2: We got a CEO from the private sector and it's
- 2:25Speaker 2: it's shaking up and shocking and upsetting everybody in government
- 2:29Speaker 2: because everything moves differently in the private sector. Things happen fast.
- 2:34Speaker 2: You know, when you're a politician, a senator or a president,
- 2:38Speaker 2: you come up with a couple of things to do,
- 2:41Speaker 2: and you spread them out over the year, and you
- 2:44Speaker 2: make a few speeches, and you have meetings, and when
- 2:47Speaker 2: it comes to foreign policy, these foreign policy guys come
- 2:51Speaker 2: in with the briefing books and you have a meeting,
- 2:52Speaker 2: and you have another meeting, and a committee, and a
- 2:55Speaker 2: meeting and a committee, and this track sound forever. One
- 2:58Speaker 2: day you might actually do something. This is not how
- 3:00Speaker 2: the private sector operates. If you're a major CEO of
- 3:05Speaker 2: Amazon or some big conglomerate, a lot of people don't
- 3:08Speaker 2: realize what a CEO does all day. He basically sits
- 3:11Speaker 2: in his office and a million people come in and out,
- 3:14Speaker 2: every different division group, every company that come in, and
- 3:18Speaker 2: you do like fifty major things a day every day.
- 3:23Speaker 2: You know, if you're Amazon, somebody, you know, Jeff Bezos
- 3:26Speaker 2: is in the office, and now the guys from the
- 3:27Speaker 2: space launch thing come in. They got twenty minutes and
- 3:31Speaker 2: they go give a million decisions you're made. Then some
- 3:33Speaker 2: guys from the union come in to argue union count.
- 3:36Speaker 2: Then you do that. Then like every half hour, you
- 3:39Speaker 2: got like a new bunch of people in there and
- 3:41Speaker 2: a major, major meeting about something, and you just make
- 3:44Speaker 2: decisions and do stuff and take actions all day long, NonStop.
- 3:48Speaker 2: But we've never seen this in government. If you're Chuck Schumer,
- 3:51Speaker 2: you really don't do much of anything as far as
- 3:54Speaker 2: actual accomplishments for the people. Maybe once or twice a year,
- 3:58Speaker 2: maybe maybe something. Oh why she basically sit in the
- 4:01Speaker 2: office all day. And if you're a guy like Schumer,
- 4:04Speaker 2: you know, the only people that come in or you know,
- 4:06Speaker 2: the scheduler and the guy who's you know, coordinating your
- 4:10Speaker 2: TV appearances. And then the rest of the day's donor
- 4:13Speaker 2: phone calls. You know, your donors call you for favors,
- 4:16Speaker 2: and you take care of them. That's all you do.
- 4:18Speaker 2: But nobody's ever seen this before in the White House,
- 4:21Speaker 2: and it's it's killing and exhausting the press. They've decided
- 4:26Speaker 2: from the beginning that they will attack President Trump for
- 4:29Speaker 2: anything he does, and they'll go crazy trying to smear
- 4:33Speaker 2: him for whatever he does, whatever he wants to do.
- 4:36Speaker 2: They'll go on the air, they'll go on print, they'll
- 4:37Speaker 2: go they'll attack it like crazy, which is fine if
- 4:41Speaker 2: that's what you want to do. But he's doing like
- 4:43Speaker 2: seventy five things a day, so it's wiping them out,
- 4:45Speaker 2: it's killing them. They're exhausted. Democrats really concerned about trump
- 4:50Speaker 2: exhaustion syndrome. So today he goes to Davos. Now, let
- 4:54Speaker 2: me just clear up something about Davos. This is the
- 4:58Speaker 2: annual conference every year in sweat Zzerland. It's all the
- 5:02Speaker 2: elitist billionaires of world leaders. It's like the ultimate one
- 5:07Speaker 2: percent of the one percent of the one percent. They
- 5:09Speaker 2: all descend on Davos, Switzerland. It's a little town in
- 5:13Speaker 2: the Swiss mountains. It's nothing like stad or San maritz.
- 5:18Speaker 2: Davos is a dump. It's an absolute dump. It's got
- 5:21Speaker 2: a couple of very dumpy hotels and a convention center
- 5:25Speaker 2: where they do this conference. But it's perfect for them
- 5:28Speaker 2: because there's nothing around for a million miles. And Davos
- 5:33Speaker 2: was always something to be ridiculed because they were there
- 5:36Speaker 2: to discuss climate change and green energy. And meantime, they
- 5:41Speaker 2: show the picture of one hundred and seventy five private
- 5:43Speaker 2: jets on the runway at Davos. Every billionaire there shows
- 5:47Speaker 2: up in a private jet with a caravan of SUV's,
- 5:49Speaker 2: the biggest polluters in the world. It was a very,
- 5:53Speaker 2: very very left wing, woke, green stupid conference. No more,
- 5:59Speaker 2: that's over all the jokes and the ridiculing of Davos.
- 6:02Speaker 2: We don't have to do that anymore. The guy that
- 6:05Speaker 2: put it together, founded it and ran it all these
- 6:07Speaker 2: years is gone, finally gone. This is the first year
- 6:11Speaker 2: without him. His name was Klaus Schwab. He was a
- 6:15Speaker 2: real socialist, communist, Nazi issue left wing kook nutjob. Klaus
- 6:20Speaker 2: Schwab is the one who when he ran Davos, it
- 6:23Speaker 2: was about climate change and saving the planet and all
- 6:26Speaker 2: these lofty goals and changing everything and going more socialist.
- 6:30Speaker 2: And he was the open borders guy. No borders were
- 6:34Speaker 2: all one country, one world. And people always ridiculed Davos.
- 6:39Speaker 2: It was the most silly thing in the world that
- 6:42Speaker 2: if you wanted to change the world like this, the
- 6:44Speaker 2: last guys that would ever want to do that are
- 6:46Speaker 2: these billionaires. Nobody has more at stake in keeping everything
- 6:50Speaker 2: exactly the way it is than these billionaires. And this
- 6:54Speaker 2: is over with Klaus Schwab. He was a horrible, horrible guy.
- 6:58Speaker 2: He wrote a book called The Great reas Set. It
- 7:00Speaker 2: was the most made Mamdani look like a moderate. In
- 7:03Speaker 2: Klaus Schwab's book. It was all about nobody should be
- 7:06Speaker 2: allowed to own any homes or cars or anything. Everything
- 7:09Speaker 2: will be given to you and you'll be happier. It
- 7:11Speaker 2: was just ridiculous nonsense. He got caught in terrible scandals,
- 7:16Speaker 2: female scandals, financial shenanigans, money accused of embezzling, all sorts
- 7:22Speaker 2: of scandal, like any good socialist. Money went missing like crazy.
- 7:28Speaker 2: So he's gone. He's no longer, even though he's the founder.
- 7:31Speaker 2: He's gone from Davos. They had to put somebody else
- 7:34Speaker 2: in charge. They got a temporary chairman, Larry Fink, chief
- 7:38Speaker 2: executive of black Rock, the big hedge fund. So Davos
- 7:43Speaker 2: is different this year. It's all different. In fact, this
- 7:45Speaker 2: year when they put out the statement, when they put
- 7:48Speaker 2: out the mission, they put there was no mention of
- 7:50Speaker 2: climate change. The theme is a spirit of dialogue. There
- 7:54Speaker 2: was no mention of climate change, or energy transition or
- 7:59Speaker 2: open border, none of that. It's all gone from Davos.
- 8:03Speaker 2: The only thing it's said, we will air out the
- 8:05Speaker 2: issues that matter most to people. So forget the old Davos.
- 8:10Speaker 2: This is a whole new Davos. And that's why President
- 8:13Speaker 2: Trump is going. Normally, he went once in the first
- 8:17Speaker 2: term and then skipped it every year because it was
- 8:18Speaker 2: just left wing, crazy nonsense. But now it's practical business dealing.
- 8:25Speaker 2: So President Trump will be there, and this year it's
- 8:27Speaker 2: all different because now they're not left wing kook themes
- 8:33Speaker 2: at this conference, but they're embracing Trump. They're really happy
- 8:36Speaker 2: to see him this time, and he's happy to go
- 8:39Speaker 2: because now they're going to kind of bow down to
- 8:41Speaker 2: him and agree that he's in charge. So this will
- 8:45Speaker 2: be something. A lot of stuff gets worked out at Davos.
- 8:48Speaker 2: Not the conference is absolutely nothing. You can see the conference.
- 8:51Speaker 2: You can see the videos. You know, somebody big is
- 8:55Speaker 2: up on stage, a world leader, and somebody's interviewing to
- 8:58Speaker 2: very boring stuff. Doze off like eight times trying to
- 9:01Speaker 2: watch these videos. But it's what they call the sidelines.
- 9:05Speaker 2: On the sidelines, that's where they make deals. So a
- 9:07Speaker 2: lot of the greenland stuff will get done on the
- 9:10Speaker 2: sidelines of Davos. Now, a lot of people don't get
- 9:13Speaker 2: this greenland stuff but it's like a lot of Trump stuff.
- 9:16Speaker 2: It sounds wacky, it sounds way out there, it sounds
- 9:20Speaker 2: too aggressive, it sounds but in the end, if you
- 9:22Speaker 2: skip ahead about a year or two, you look back
- 9:24Speaker 2: to Wow, he was right about that. Greenland has all
- 9:27Speaker 2: kinds of very crucial strategic military advantages for us, very important.
- 9:35Speaker 2: He doesn't really detail them. You know, you might say, well,
- 9:37Speaker 2: why doesn't he just explain all this that would be
- 9:40Speaker 2: He doesn't really want to explain all that because it'll
- 9:42Speaker 2: only push the Russians and the Chinese to go after
- 9:48Speaker 2: Greenland themselves. He's trying to keep quiet. He's trying to
- 9:50Speaker 2: make it look like it's a mineral thing, a money thing,
- 9:54Speaker 2: or he's just being pushy, obnoxious. But it has tremendous
- 9:57Speaker 2: strategic importance for clear defense. For they want to do
- 10:02Speaker 2: that golden dobe dome that would surround us prevent any
- 10:06Speaker 2: missile attack from hitting us. They can't do it without
- 10:08Speaker 2: Greenland a lot of reasons, but anyway, so that there
- 10:13Speaker 2: may be real progress on that. A couple of days
- 10:15Speaker 2: from now, after Davos, Don Lemon in Minnesota. Now you
- 10:22Speaker 2: have to understand what Don Lemon is up to. Don
- 10:25Speaker 2: Lemon is out of work. There's guys that used to
- 10:29Speaker 2: be on television that used to mean something. Don Lemon,
- 10:32Speaker 2: Jim Acosta, Keith Oberman, Megan Kelly, Tucker Carlson. They're off
- 10:38Speaker 2: the air, they're gone there. They seem to be you know,
- 10:41Speaker 2: if you're following them, well, they seem to be doing
- 10:43Speaker 2: a show. And they said, but it's not. They're not
- 10:45Speaker 2: on a network, they're not employed anywhere. They're basically doing
- 10:48Speaker 2: it out of their bedroom. It's homemade. That's what Don
- 10:51Speaker 2: Lemon is doing. So the problem is when you do this,
- 10:55Speaker 2: you're actually not on a network, you're not hurt anywhere.
- 10:57Speaker 2: You're just it's homemade stuff out of your bed. So
- 11:01Speaker 2: you got to get attention for yourself. You've got to
- 11:03Speaker 2: say outrageous things. That's why every time you look for
- 11:05Speaker 2: why would Tucker Carlson say this? What the hell will?
- 11:08Speaker 2: Why would Megan Kelly talk like that? They're trying to
- 11:10Speaker 2: get attention or Jim Acosta cursing and screaming and ranting
- 11:15Speaker 2: and rape. It's the only way you can get attention
- 11:17Speaker 2: for a homemade show you're doing out of your house.
- 11:20Speaker 2: Don Lemon goes to Minnesota. He goes into that church.
- 11:23Speaker 2: She's totally disrupting everything. Now every legal expert looking at
- 11:28Speaker 2: what happened. You know, the protesters are on the street.
- 11:31Speaker 2: You know, even renee Good pulls up in front of
- 11:33Speaker 2: the caravan of police, turns her car sideways, blockades them,
- 11:39Speaker 2: won't get out of the car when they tell her
- 11:40Speaker 2: everything she did was illegal. Had she not been shot,
- 11:43Speaker 2: she'd be on trial right now. She'd be in prison
- 11:46Speaker 2: for the next seven years. Had she not been shot,
- 11:49Speaker 2: she'd been the next seven years in jail. All of
- 11:51Speaker 2: this is totally completely illegal, and one of the ugliest
- 11:57Speaker 2: ones was over the weekend where they went into the church.
- 11:59Speaker 2: The protesters barge into a church, stop the ceremony in
- 12:03Speaker 2: the church, stop the service, menace everybody in the church,
- 12:09Speaker 2: the people worshiping the pastor everybody. Don Lemon included. Homeland
- 12:13Speaker 2: Security has pointed out that this is totally illegal. A
- 12:16Speaker 2: crime has been committed, a very awful crime. You're not
- 12:20Speaker 2: allowed to ever run into a church and disrupt everything
- 12:25Speaker 2: and stop the service. It's what the ku Klux Klan
- 12:29Speaker 2: used to do for years and years and years. And
- 12:32Speaker 2: the Department of Justice says people are going to get
- 12:34Speaker 2: prosecuted for this. Arrests are coming and expect Don Lemon
- 12:39Speaker 2: to be one of the people arrested. What he did
- 12:41Speaker 2: was a crime. Now he put out these ridiculous, sanctimonious
- 12:44Speaker 2: videos about as a journalist, he was the First Amendment
- 12:48Speaker 2: journalism something. First of all, he's not a journalist. He's
- 12:51Speaker 2: not employed anywhere. He doesn't even have a job. He's
- 12:55Speaker 2: just a crazy agitator with a camera even and he's
- 13:00Speaker 2: got his little camera rolling his phone or whatever it
- 13:02Speaker 2: is with the pastor what do you think of this?
- 13:05Speaker 3: I mean, this is unacceptable, It's shameful. It's shameful to
- 13:10Speaker 3: interrupt a public gathering of Christians and worship in the
- 13:14Speaker 3: s But there I have to take care of vi flaw.
- 13:19Speaker 3: But listen, we live in there's a constitution in the
- 13:21Speaker 3: First Amendment to freedom of speech and freedom to assimblated protests.
- 13:24Speaker 1: You know.
- 13:25Speaker 2: Yeah, again, the sanctimony is idiotic, Don Lemon, the Constitution,
- 13:30Speaker 2: First Amendment, freedom of speech. Every legal expert is weighed
- 13:34Speaker 2: in on this. He's in total violation of the law.
- 13:37Speaker 2: He can certainly stand outside the church and yell things
- 13:40Speaker 2: if he wants, you cannot come into the church and
- 13:42Speaker 2: disrupt and stop the service from taking place. You can't
- 13:46Speaker 2: menace the pastor you can't do that. There's all kinds
- 13:49Speaker 2: of laws on the books about entering a house of
- 13:51Speaker 2: worship to stop the service and disrupt it. It's illegal.
- 13:55Speaker 2: He will be arrested. Lots of people are going to
- 13:57Speaker 2: get arrested in this. A bunch of people will go
- 14:00Speaker 2: to jail for this. And if you say, watch some
- 14:04Speaker 2: of the videos, they target it because it's a church,
- 14:07Speaker 2: because it has an American flag in front of it.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Can you imagine can you imagine these same people ever
- 14:12Speaker 2: going into a mosque and disrupting everything and stopping everything. Anyway,
- 14:15Speaker 2: we'll get to a lot to get to. We'll get
- 14:17Speaker 2: to Mom Dannie who wants to put bidets in a
- 14:21Speaker 2: Gracie mansion and it got ridiculed for it. It's actually
- 14:26Speaker 2: a cultural thing. It's not trying to be fancy with
- 14:29Speaker 2: a bidet. Did you ever see a bidet? I don't
- 14:32Speaker 2: know how the hell you use it. I don't know
- 14:34Speaker 2: how it works. It's like a toilet with a fire
- 14:37Speaker 2: hose shooting up at you. It's the weirdest thing in
- 14:40Speaker 2: the world, but it's a cultural thing. We don't use
- 14:42Speaker 2: pidets in America. There was a period seventies and eighties
- 14:46Speaker 2: when they built buildings in they'd put it in because
- 14:48Speaker 2: it seemed like some kind of fancy European thing. But
- 14:52Speaker 2: in the last twenty years they've all been ripped out,
- 14:54Speaker 2: taken out. No, Americans don't use bidets. It's not an
- 14:56Speaker 2: American thing. It's a European thing. It's very big in Africa.
- 15:01Speaker 2: The African culture. They love the days they use it,
- 15:04Speaker 2: and that's probably why mom Donnie looks for it. But
- 15:07Speaker 2: he was living in a crappy one bedroom apartment in Queens.
- 15:10Speaker 2: I guarantee you there were no bidets in that apartment. Anyway,
- 15:13Speaker 2: we've got a lot to get to. We'll take some calls.
- 15:15Speaker 2: Next eight hundred three two one zero seven ten is
- 15:20Speaker 2: the number eight hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:24Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, same
- 15:27Speaker 1: time and tap the breset button.
- 15:29Speaker 4: Now.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor Well.
- 15:34Speaker 2: Hey, everybody's back today. Let's take some calls. Let's go
- 15:38Speaker 2: to Ron in Pittsburgh. Ron, how you doing you good, sir?

- 15:57Speaker 2: on wor and make sure he watches that TV show
- 16:00Speaker 2: Saturday nights at ten. That's the best lad show. And
- 16:04Speaker 2: it's the best monologue on TV Saturday yesterday.
- 16:07Speaker 5: Also, thank you nice here in Vincent, this guy from
- 16:11Speaker 5: New York. I'm an older guy and nice year. He
- 16:14Speaker 5: shoots from the hip, your old jenerous with that and
- 16:16Speaker 5: I like your style. And also I got one. I
- 16:20Speaker 5: have a band who would love to play.
- 16:22Speaker 2: Hang on, hang out? He complimenting me's a thousand compliments.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Either there's a criticism coming or he wants something I
- 16:28Speaker 2: think he wants. No, No, what does it you want?
- 16:30Speaker 2: You have a band?
- 16:31Speaker 5: You have a band that ball Hey, we're not a
- 16:33Speaker 5: bunch of livuitars. We're conservative, we're disabled. That Richard seven.
- 16:37Speaker 2: What kind of band is it?
- 16:39Speaker 6: We hate?
- 16:40Speaker 5: Tom Holman would love us. I heard him on Jimmy Falling.
- 16:42Speaker 5: We do the Whale and Jennings all the old country classics.
- 16:45Speaker 5: John Fogerty. Uh huh, you know, and also hate one
- 16:49Speaker 5: of them.
- 16:49Speaker 2: Quess, we can't stop you. I mean, where do you
- 16:51Speaker 2: do this?
- 16:52Speaker 5: Hey? Why do all the female protesters look like the
- 16:58Speaker 5: running for a curling on the Three Stooges.
- 17:01Speaker 2: Yeah, they are pretty look alike.
- 17:03Speaker 5: Contest?
- 17:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you could not exactly if they had a beauty
- 17:05Speaker 2: contest and nobody would win. I mean it's pretty.
- 17:08Speaker 5: And what is their end game? What do you think
- 17:10Speaker 5: their end game?
- 17:11Speaker 2: I love this guy you can't get rid of It
- 17:13Speaker 2: was called twenty minutes. He never runs out of stuff.
- 17:16Speaker 5: What would you say?
- 17:18Speaker 2: What what they do?
- 17:19Speaker 5: What's the end game?
- 17:20Speaker 6: Mark? Uh?
- 17:21Speaker 2: The end game is the Yellen scream and just be angry.
- 17:23Speaker 2: They're just all upset. So let's if we can stop now.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Hey you Ron, great call, Thank you sir.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Thanks, nice show, nice show.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Yeah, call us again, good call. Let's go to Donald
- 17:37Speaker 2: and Yonkers. Donald. How you doing?
- 17:40Speaker 6: Hey?
- 17:41Speaker 5: Mark?
- 17:41Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 17:41Speaker 4: I love your show, man. I just wanted to talk
- 17:45Speaker 4: about that Beday's situation. I think you might be a
- 17:47Speaker 4: little a little off on that.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Is that it?
- 17:53Speaker 5: No?
- 17:54Speaker 4: No, no, Ill, I'm sorry, I just I personally have
- 17:57Speaker 4: them and the new ones.
- 17:59Speaker 2: You know you have a day. We're talking about normal people.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Normal people do not have well.
- 18:04Speaker 4: All right, listen, all right, all right, I'll make it easy.
- 18:06Speaker 4: Next time a bird does its business on a hoodie,
- 18:09Speaker 4: you call, take some of that toilet paper, wipe and.
- 18:11Speaker 6: Then tell me it's clean.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Well yeah, hey, we don't want to get too graphic here.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Think about I'm not saying a good days not.
- 18:20Speaker 4: You have a heat you can get a heated seat.
- 18:22Speaker 4: I have the one I have. Now that you walk
- 18:24Speaker 4: up to it, the lid opens automatically. For you got
- 18:27Speaker 4: a light heated seat. I don't know. I just think
- 18:29Speaker 4: you're missing.
- 18:30Speaker 2: Gotta be honest. You sound like your Paris Hilton or
- 18:34Speaker 2: something with your heated seat, your biday.
- 18:36Speaker 4: It's oh no, all right, listen, listen, I'm just.
- 18:39Speaker 2: Telling you, okay, all right now listen. Some people like
- 18:43Speaker 2: this stuff. I don't like any of this. You know,
- 18:45Speaker 2: people have this heated toilet seat where the lid comes
- 18:48Speaker 2: up automatically, it closes automatically. Don't ever get that stuff.
- 18:52Speaker 2: It's just nine more things that are going to break.
- 18:54Speaker 2: You know, if you have a toilet, maybe once in
- 18:57Speaker 2: a million years something goes wrong. You got to call
- 18:59Speaker 2: in a plumber. You want to have to call in
- 19:01Speaker 2: an electrician for your toilet, and this and that. I'm
- 19:05Speaker 2: sure a bidet works. Fine, I don't know how the
- 19:06Speaker 2: hell you use it, but I'm just telling you the
- 19:08Speaker 2: facts there. They're not a big thing in the United States.
- 19:12Speaker 2: It's a European thing, very big in Africa and that culture.
- 19:15Speaker 2: They love bidets. And there was a time in the
- 19:18Speaker 2: seventies where builders of the fancy luxury high rises started
- 19:22Speaker 2: putting them in because it sounded very European, very classy, fancy.
- 19:26Speaker 2: And then after about ten years I realized nobody liked
- 19:28Speaker 2: them or is using them. All the modern new buildings
- 19:31Speaker 2: going up, there's no bidets in any of them. Let's
- 19:34Speaker 2: go to Kurt in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Kurt, how you doing.
- 19:38Speaker 8: I'm doing good, Mark, longtime listener.
- 19:42Speaker 5: Today.
- 19:43Speaker 8: This guy that just spoke to you, he has one
- 19:45Speaker 8: of those toilets that are ten thousand dollars or seven
- 19:48Speaker 8: thousand dollars. You walk in, the lid comes up and
- 19:51Speaker 8: all this stuff. They sell the day seats at home
- 19:56Speaker 8: depot for six seven hundred dollars. Got a warm water reservoir,
- 20:02Speaker 8: you got heated seat. It goes forward a little bit
- 20:07Speaker 8: for the old dirt road, and then it goes farther
- 20:09Speaker 8: for ladies. You're sick and you got to go to the
- 20:13Speaker 8: bathroom and.
- 20:14Speaker 4: You're you're really sick.
- 20:16Speaker 2: My Got'm sorry?
- 20:18Speaker 8: Is all worth it?
- 20:20Speaker 2: All right? Well, thanks for calling. All right, there's a
- 20:23Speaker 2: few bit dat lovers out there. But he's right about
- 20:27Speaker 2: one thing. If you're gonna buy a toilet, if you're
- 20:30Speaker 2: remodeling the bathroom, whatever, you can go by the way.
- 20:33Speaker 2: If you want to get stuff like that, you know,
- 20:35Speaker 2: the best place is build dot com. That's actually what
- 20:38Speaker 2: all the contractors use. Build dot com. You can see
- 20:42Speaker 2: every toilet made in the world, every everything, anything you
- 20:45Speaker 2: want to do with your own. But what you want
- 20:48Speaker 2: is a good solid toilet, A Cohler, a Toto. Those
- 20:51Speaker 2: are the two best. You don't need the heated seat
- 20:54Speaker 2: that automatically goes up. It's just ridiculous. Let's go to
- 20:57Speaker 2: a bill in Pennsylvania. Bill, how you doing.
- 21:02Speaker 9: Thanks for taking my call.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Mark.
- 21:04Speaker 10: I've been listening to you nineteen eighty six with Jonathan
- 21:08Speaker 10: Schwartz and Steve Allen. Yeah, and I even contributed to
- 21:14Speaker 10: your lead ins on some of these things where I
- 21:18Speaker 10: predict well in any case, I have a question about
- 21:22Speaker 10: the Clinton hair issues. I mean, Hillary's got this blowout
- 21:27Speaker 10: at Burggarf's for fifteen hundred dollars a day, which they
- 21:30Speaker 10: closed traffic on, and that was when.
- 21:34Speaker 2: She was first lady. She doesn't do that so much
- 21:35Speaker 2: any more effective. You've seen her lately. She looks like
- 21:38Speaker 2: an old hag. She's drinking all day and night. She
- 21:40Speaker 2: stays in that house, looks like the old lady in
- 21:42Speaker 2: Sunset Boulevard.
- 21:44Speaker 9: And well, I've got it from a reliable source where
- 21:47Speaker 9: I get my hair extensions because I'm eyey years old
- 21:50Speaker 9: and i want to look like Joe Biden perfect the
- 21:56Speaker 9: you know he he gets a hair extend incense about
- 22:01Speaker 9: nineteen eighty six or nineteen ninety two when he was
- 22:04Speaker 9: on there.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Happened here we're talking about Davos in the Economic Forum.
- 22:09Speaker 2: Now we're talking about toilets and hair extensions with it.
- 22:13Speaker 2: We got to stop. Oh, when we come back, Bill
- 22:16Speaker 2: O'Reilly will be with us next lots to talk to
- 22:18Speaker 2: him about coming up on seven to ten wor Ostern New.
- 22:22Speaker 8: Jaws, marksimone, You're the Best seven ten wor Bell.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Bill O'Reilly the biggest TV anchor of all for decades,
- 22:31Speaker 2: the number one best selling non fiction author on Earth.
- 22:35Speaker 2: Make sure you watch him every night at the TV show.
- 22:37Speaker 2: You can see that Bill O'Reilly dot com. His latest book,
- 22:40Speaker 2: Confronting Evil. It's a huge best seller. You can get
- 22:43Speaker 2: it at Bill O'Reilly dot com. Also make sure he
- 22:45Speaker 2: watch his YouTube channel. There's a lot of great stuff
- 22:48Speaker 2: he's got on YouTube, Bill O'Reilly.
- 22:49Speaker 7: How you doing working hard? Just like you Mark? Right?
- 22:54Speaker 5: Right?
- 22:54Speaker 2: Hey, Hey, you were just in Florida and now you
- 22:56Speaker 2: used to live in classic Florida. Tell us about today's Florida.
- 23:01Speaker 7: Well, I was in Palm Beach. Who Trillion is a
- 23:03Speaker 7: theme park for ultra wealthy people. They have their own
- 23:11Speaker 7: bubble are nice folks, very expensive, obviously, it's probably the
- 23:19Speaker 7: most expensive real estate in the country now by the ocean,
- 23:23Speaker 7: and I was down there. I uh, we're doing some
- 23:27Speaker 7: work and interviews and things like that. It wasn't just
- 23:32Speaker 7: a on the beach thing. But what was interesting was
- 23:36Speaker 7: that it was cool down there, and at one night
- 23:40Speaker 7: it dropped into the thirties and giant lizards fall out
- 23:45Speaker 7: of the trees. And I was given my friend little
- 23:53Speaker 7: jadd what am I supposed to do with these lizards
- 23:56Speaker 7: that are falling out, you know at my feed here.
- 24:01Speaker 7: So in January, a little bit of February, it gets
- 24:04Speaker 7: a little cool there. I mean, even in South Florida.
- 24:06Speaker 2: Well, hey, we always talk about Trump the arrangement syndrome.
- 24:10Speaker 2: You know that the left, now the democracy, they're talking
- 24:13Speaker 2: about Trump exhaustion syndrome. He's wearing them out. There's too
- 24:17Speaker 2: many things happening too fast. They can't attack them all
- 24:20Speaker 2: fast enough. Foot We've never seen a president that takes
- 24:24Speaker 2: this much action, like NonStop.
- 24:26Speaker 7: Never, it's not been closed. When I speak to the
- 24:30Speaker 7: President about his legacy, there's no doubt in his first
- 24:33Speaker 7: term he's done more than any other president ever Abraham Lincoln.
- 24:39Speaker 7: Because of the Civil War breakout, it's a hard analysis
- 24:42Speaker 7: to make. I mean, obviously he had to get the
- 24:44Speaker 7: Union armies up and running and do a lot of
- 24:47Speaker 7: things defensively to stop the South. But in times of peace,
- 24:54Speaker 7: nobody's ever come close to Donald Trump. But there is
- 24:56Speaker 7: an exhaustion point where he will start to lose support
- 25:03Speaker 7: because it's one thing after another, and you know, American
- 25:09Speaker 7: people can only absorb so much and then go to
- 25:11Speaker 7: work and try to raise their families and do the
- 25:14Speaker 7: right thing, and then every time they turn around, it's
- 25:18Speaker 7: we're invading Greenland or Mexico or Canada, whatever we're doing,
- 25:23Speaker 7: and it always works out. I don't believe that US
- 25:27Speaker 7: military is going to Greenland. No, I don't believe it's
- 25:30Speaker 7: going to happen, because President Trump knows not to pretty
- 25:36Speaker 7: much give the mid terms to the Democratic Party, and
- 25:39Speaker 7: it will fracture NATO, it'll help utin. Unentended consequences down
- 25:44Speaker 7: the line are staggering if US troops would go there,
- 25:47Speaker 7: And only nine percent of the American public, according to
- 25:50Speaker 7: the latest poll, want that to happen. Nine percent. But
- 25:55Speaker 7: you know, it's just expect that it will.
- 25:58Speaker 2: It's just negotiating tactic.
- 25:59Speaker 7: But yeah, that's why I believe it's true.
- 26:02Speaker 2: Now, you know him as well as anybody. If you
- 26:03Speaker 2: sat him down and said, you know, you're going too fast,
- 26:05Speaker 2: you're doing too much, and if you explained it to
- 26:07Speaker 2: him logically, you know, the next day go right back
- 26:11Speaker 2: to doing what he was doing.
- 26:11Speaker 6: Right.
- 26:12Speaker 2: I mean, nobody's going to turn this around. He's always
- 26:14Speaker 2: going to be.
- 26:14Speaker 7: You can't frame it that way. I talked to the
- 26:17Speaker 7: President on Friday when I was down there in Palm
- 26:21Speaker 7: Beach on the phone and he was asking me, and
- 26:26Speaker 7: again I don't give him advice. He has to ask
- 26:31Speaker 7: and then Azuella and how to administrate that. And you know,
- 26:37Speaker 7: I gave him my opinion that he's got to basically
- 26:41Speaker 7: announce they're going to be free elections so that the
- 26:44Speaker 7: world knows this isn't kind of a takeover by the
- 26:48Speaker 7: United States with no democratic plan. And then you know,
- 26:54Speaker 7: the oil is their lifeblood and you got to get
- 26:57Speaker 7: that up and running. It looks like he's doing that,
- 27:00Speaker 7: but all of this has to be a little bit
- 27:02Speaker 7: more transparent. That's the weakness of the Trump administration. It
- 27:06Speaker 7: isn't like when I say it, but it's the truth.
- 27:10Speaker 7: When they do something, they don't fully explain why they
- 27:14Speaker 7: do it. And you know, today Christy Nolan came out
- 27:19Speaker 7: with ten thousand foreign national criminals have been arrested in Minnesota.
- 27:24Speaker 7: That's a staggering number if true. And I don't know
- 27:29Speaker 7: how the secretary backs it up. So I'm waiting to
- 27:33Speaker 7: see what the backup is that. You know, she can't
- 27:36Speaker 7: put out a list of ten thousand people. I understand that,
- 27:41Speaker 7: but how did you calibrate that? What kind of a
- 27:43Speaker 7: system do they go through so that you can know
- 27:47Speaker 7: their criminals? You know, all of that, if explained, would
- 27:51Speaker 7: make Donald Trump's life a lot easier in the White House.
- 27:54Speaker 2: I think so, Bill o'reiley. A lot of these videos
- 27:57Speaker 2: just look horrible. These protesters, the way they're attacking ice,
- 28:01Speaker 2: and they look horrible. But every so often you see
- 28:04Speaker 2: a little news piece about somebody was grabbed out of
- 28:07Speaker 2: their house. Turns out they were totally innocent. That looks
- 28:09Speaker 2: pretty bad too. So what should the president be doing?
- 28:14Speaker 7: Well, there's a woman who was dragged out of her
- 28:16Speaker 7: car last week and it looked phony to me, and
- 28:20Speaker 7: she was screaming that she was disabled and had autism.
- 28:24Speaker 7: Do you remember that video?
- 28:25Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:27Speaker 7: Okay, so I said right away to my investigators, check
- 28:31Speaker 7: out this woman's background, and I'm doing it tonight on
- 28:33Speaker 7: the out spend News. This is a very very far
- 28:38Speaker 7: left activist for many years Black lives matter all the place.
- 28:44Speaker 7: See now, this was a phony set up of She
- 28:49Speaker 7: drove her car in there knowing that they were going
- 28:53Speaker 7: to pull her out of the car because she wouldn't
- 28:55Speaker 7: move the car during a nice investigation, and she knew it.
- 29:01Speaker 7: And then when she gets dragged out of the car.
- 29:03Speaker 7: She's screaming herbaut because she knows Cinan, I'll put it
- 29:06Speaker 7: on the air right away without any vetting at all.
- 29:09Speaker 7: They aren't gonna check it like I checked it. Then
- 29:12Speaker 7: I'm gonna do that. And then when it comes out
- 29:16Speaker 7: that she's a charlatan, there's no apology because oh we
- 29:22Speaker 7: got this wrong. No, they just ignore it. And that's
- 29:27Speaker 7: the game now. So a radical lift has moved in
- 29:30Speaker 7: full throttle. Jasmine Crockett's up there. Every koop in the
- 29:34Speaker 7: world is up there, running around trying to exacerbate the
- 29:38Speaker 7: situation so that it spreads. But the goodness is not
- 29:42Speaker 7: really spreading. It's not like Vietnam were having you know
- 29:46Speaker 7: what they call organic protest people running out. No, not
- 29:50Speaker 7: this one. These are pockets of very very far left
- 29:55Speaker 7: people who want to disrupt the government.
- 29:57Speaker 2: Although we got reports now about four thousand have been
- 30:01Speaker 2: assembled in New York ready to protest if Ice comes
- 30:04Speaker 2: here and does anything.
- 30:05Speaker 7: So, yeah, this is a very good story. The New
- 30:08Speaker 7: York coasts broke it over the weekend. So there's a
- 30:12Speaker 7: database that these far left groups have of sympathizers, of
- 30:17Speaker 7: people who give them money, Like any organization would have
- 30:21Speaker 7: a database, and in the database there are thousands and
- 30:26Speaker 7: thousands and thousands of people, and they can blast out
- 30:30Speaker 7: emails to those people in a heartbeat. So they're organizing
- 30:35Speaker 7: cadres to come to New York City. Most of these
- 30:38Speaker 7: people are outside the city, don't live here, to demonstrate
- 30:42Speaker 7: if Ice comes in and does some and does some
- 30:47Speaker 7: sweeps here, that these people are going to descend on
- 30:50Speaker 7: Ice and there'll be violence. There's no question there'll be violence.
- 30:53Speaker 7: And these people are fostering violence. At the same time,
- 30:57Speaker 7: Justice Department is looking into all this. You know, these
- 31:01Speaker 7: conspiracy websites that are that are trying to stoke people
- 31:05Speaker 7: up to disobeying federal law. So I know that that
- 31:11Speaker 7: the FBI is looking into that. It'll be very interesting
- 31:14Speaker 7: to see if it reaches as high as fly and
- 31:17Speaker 7: Walls Minnesota.
- 31:18Speaker 6: Wow.
- 31:19Speaker 2: Well, hey, everybody watch Bill O'Reilly watched the TV show
- 31:22Speaker 2: tonight and get the column the message of the day.

- 31:48Speaker 7: Yeah, you'll you'll like this segment.
- 31:51Speaker 2: All right, thanks, take care. Yeah, that'll be good tonight.
- 31:55Speaker 2: We'll get back to Don Lemonto in the next hour. Hey,
- 31:57Speaker 2: don't forget coming up at noon today. Everybody's back today,

- 32:11Speaker 2: does a wonderful show. You gotta listen to this every night,
- 32:15Speaker 2: not just a great talk for it's very funny every

- 32:38Speaker 2: So we got another hour to go and a lot
- 32:40Speaker 2: to get to in the next hour. So don't go away.
- 32:43Speaker 2: I'm here every day ten to noon or listen anytime.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Get the podcast back after the news seven to ten
- 32:49Speaker 2: wr Mark.
- 32:51Speaker 11: Simone come on at seven ten, wr.
- 32:58Speaker 2: Well, hey, it's January twentieth, one year anniversary of the
- 33:02Speaker 2: Trump administration was one year ago today that he took office,
- 33:06Speaker 2: and in the first year he's done what most presidents
- 33:08Speaker 2: would get done in eight years. Some good, some bad,
- 33:12Speaker 2: Some people love and it drives them nuts. The Trump
- 33:16Speaker 2: derangement syndrome is out there, and as I said, the
- 33:19Speaker 2: Left is now calling it Trump exhaustion syndrome. They love
- 33:23Speaker 2: attacking anything he does, but it's fifty things a day.
- 33:26Speaker 2: It's driving them crazy. Greenland especially. Let me just explain
- 33:30Speaker 2: a couple of things about Greenland. There's no possibility of
- 33:33Speaker 2: any military action there, just a negotiating thing that he does,
- 33:38Speaker 2: and he's getting the left going crazy. He sent a
- 33:41Speaker 2: letter to the Denmark ab but he opened with since
- 33:45Speaker 2: I didn't get the Nobel Prize. There's no connection between
- 33:48Speaker 2: Greenland and the Nobel Prize. It's just negotiating. I've watched
- 33:52Speaker 2: him do this for thirty years. That's how you start
- 33:56Speaker 2: a negotiation with him. He hits you with forty seven things.
- 34:01Speaker 2: It's like a million things are coming at you once.
- 34:02Speaker 2: You don't know what to respond to first. It's an
- 34:06Speaker 2: amazing thing to watch. He has different ways in negotiating.
- 34:09Speaker 2: You know, Normally, if you go into a negotiation, at
- 34:14Speaker 2: some point the other side might threaten to sue you.
- 34:18Speaker 2: But if it's Trump, he'll start with the law. He'll
- 34:20Speaker 2: sue you first, then start negotiating. So he like, it's
- 34:23Speaker 2: one negotiating technique he uses. He starts like a def
- 34:26Speaker 2: con one. That way, you're in total panic and he's calm.
- 34:30Speaker 2: He's used to that kind of environment, and it just
- 34:34Speaker 2: screws up the other side. So but there's no threat
- 34:36Speaker 2: of military action. That's not gonna happen. He'll be at
- 34:39Speaker 2: Davos for two days, three days, and the big thing
- 34:42Speaker 2: at Davos is what they call the sidelines. On the sidelines,
- 34:45Speaker 2: they talk and that's where they make deals. So a
- 34:47Speaker 2: lot of that get settled there. Hey. In Iran, the
- 34:52Speaker 2: protests continue. Iranian doctors Iranian doctors are saying they believe
- 34:58Speaker 2: the death toll is over sixteen thousand protesters between sixteen
- 35:05Speaker 2: thousand and eighteen thousand. Most of the victims killed believed
- 35:10Speaker 2: to be younger than thirty. But this is coming from
- 35:13Speaker 2: doctors at eight major hospitals and sixteen emergency centers. Again,
- 35:18Speaker 2: they believe it's over sixteen thousand protesters killed. Now, why
- 35:23Speaker 2: don't you hear more about this? Well, because they're not
- 35:26Speaker 2: protesting Trump. So if they were protesting Trump, you'd be
- 35:29Speaker 2: hearing about it NonStop, twenty four to seven. If one
- 35:33Speaker 2: of them was even pushed, you'd hear about this. But
- 35:36Speaker 2: sixteen thousand killed. Left couldn't care less, pays no attention
- 35:40Speaker 2: to it now. Apparently, over at the CBS News, in
- 35:44Speaker 2: an editorial meeting, the new head who was brought in
- 35:47Speaker 2: to clean it up and try to turn it into
- 35:50Speaker 2: an actual news organization instead of just a left wing
- 35:53Speaker 2: propaganda site, said that in the editorial meetings, so why
- 35:57Speaker 2: aren't we covering more about Iran? About the protesters is
- 36:00Speaker 2: big news, This is a big international development. The CBS
- 36:04Speaker 2: News team doesn't want to spend any time on this.
- 36:06Speaker 2: They don't want to waste time on this when they
- 36:08Speaker 2: can be attacking Trump. And apparently at one point in
- 36:11Speaker 2: the meeting, the new head of CBS actually said, hey,
- 36:14Speaker 2: how about actually covering the news, which they didn't like hearing,
- 36:18Speaker 2: but it's a pretty good idea. Again, expect Don Lemon
- 36:23Speaker 2: and those criminals that entered the church illegally and disrupted
- 36:28Speaker 2: the ceremony. Expect them to most likely get indicted. It's
- 36:34Speaker 2: something Common Justice Department is preparing charges against those protesters,
- 36:38Speaker 2: so expect that to happen soon. Hey, Mikey Cheryl, the
- 36:43Speaker 2: New Jersey governor takes office today. It's not a good
- 36:48Speaker 2: thing for New Jersey. You never thought you'd miss Phil Murphy,
- 36:52Speaker 2: did you? But or as I heard Curtis call him,
- 36:55Speaker 2: the half in the bag, Phil mur half in the bag,
- 36:58Speaker 2: Phil Murphy. Mikey Cheryl vows that you will put the
- 37:02Speaker 2: state on the front lines of anti Trump movement. I guess, listen,
- 37:08Speaker 2: if you live in New Jersey, got a lot of problems.
- 37:10Speaker 2: You got high taxes, you got corruption everywhere in government,
- 37:14Speaker 2: you got all these problems. The last thing you need
- 37:16Speaker 2: is to go to war with the federal government. But
- 37:19Speaker 2: that's what she's proposing. And I don't know why Cheryl,
- 37:23Speaker 2: Mikey Cheryl is not even on Trump's radar, but she's
- 37:28Speaker 2: indicated she's hoping to become a thorn in his side
- 37:31Speaker 2: and make the Garden State a model for fighting him,
- 37:34Speaker 2: which is absolutely totally irresponsible of a governor. You depend
- 37:38Speaker 2: on an administration for federal funding for all that sort
- 37:42Speaker 2: of stuff. Starting a war with him serves no purpose.
- 37:45Speaker 2: But here's Mikey Cheryl.
- 37:46Speaker 12: My message is that the area I represent is responsible
- 37:52Speaker 12: for an incredible amount of innovation for the nation's economy.
- 37:56Speaker 12: And to continue to punish the people of New Jersey, who,
- 37:59Speaker 12: by the way, sent seventy billion dollars more in federal
- 38:02Speaker 12: taxes to the government than we receive back, to continue
- 38:06Speaker 12: to attack opportunity, innovation, schools, jobs, cost of living is madness.
- 38:14Speaker 2: Yeah, no, see that's a problem. She said, we send
- 38:17Speaker 2: more money to the federal government than we get back.
- 38:21Speaker 2: That's the cry of the amateur who doesn't know anything
- 38:24Speaker 2: about how any of this works. I mean, remember that
- 38:26Speaker 2: we had have was it a senate candidate here in
- 38:28Speaker 2: New York. That was her whole campaign. We're sending more
- 38:31Speaker 2: money to the federal government than we get back. Now
- 38:34Speaker 2: that's a real idiot. Amateur doesn't understand anything that's good.
- 38:39Speaker 2: That's good, that means you're prospering and doing well, you're
- 38:42Speaker 2: making a ton of money. How much you send to
- 38:44Speaker 2: the federal government is about how much income tax people
- 38:47Speaker 2: have to pay here, which is about how much they earned.
- 38:50Speaker 2: So if you're sending a lot of money in the
- 38:51Speaker 2: federal government means you earned a lot of money and
- 38:53Speaker 2: it was great. There are some states that get more
- 38:58Speaker 2: money from the federal government than they send in. Now,
- 39:00Speaker 2: how is that possible? Because in those states people aren't
- 39:03Speaker 2: making any money, their income is extremely low, and many
- 39:06Speaker 2: of them are on welfare. Many of them are getting
- 39:09Speaker 2: subsidies because they're doing so badly. So if you're ever
- 39:13Speaker 2: a state getting more money from the government than you
- 39:15Speaker 2: send in, it means you're a welfare case. It's the
- 39:19Speaker 2: worst thing in the world. But the fact that Mikey
- 39:20Speaker 2: Cheryl said that means she really doesn't understand any of
- 39:23Speaker 2: this stuff.
- 39:24Speaker 12: Here's more, And I can guarantee you, after spending a
- 39:28Speaker 12: year and speaking to thousands of people across the state,
- 39:31Speaker 12: that there is not one person in New Jersey that
- 39:32Speaker 12: wakes up in the morning and says, gee, I hope
- 39:34Speaker 12: to day's the day that the president dumps billions of
- 39:38Speaker 12: dollars into buying Greenland while my grocery store costs continue
- 39:42Speaker 12: to go up.
- 39:43Speaker 11: That's a trade.
- 39:43Speaker 12: Nobody wants that trade.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I see, that's another problem. I realize she's just
- 39:47Speaker 2: a crazy Trump derangement syndrome. Person. But grocery prices have
- 39:51Speaker 2: been coming down steadily all year. Ever since Trump took office,
- 39:55Speaker 2: grocery prices have been coming down. The fact that she
- 39:58Speaker 2: doesn't know that, well, that makes her look a little
- 40:01Speaker 2: out of touch with everything.
- 40:03Speaker 12: I said. The protesters have been peaceful, but ICE hasn't been.
- 40:07Speaker 2: There are you see protesters have been peaceful. I don't know.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I mean, they're not shooting anybody, but they're committing crimes
- 40:15Speaker 2: left and right. You're not allowed to drive your car
- 40:17Speaker 2: into the middle of an ICE operation and block the street.
- 40:21Speaker 2: You're not allowed to try to hit an ICE officer
- 40:24Speaker 2: with your car. I wouldn't defend it. I mean, remember
- 40:28Speaker 2: have had Renee Good not been shot, she would be
- 40:31Speaker 2: in prison for the next five to seven years.
- 40:33Speaker 11: I said.
- 40:34Speaker 12: The protesters have been peaceful, but ICE hasn't been. They're
- 40:38Speaker 12: assaulting people on the street. They're busting through windows and cars.
- 40:42Speaker 12: People are driving their kids home from basketball practice getting
- 40:45Speaker 12: tear gassed people.
- 40:47Speaker 2: Yeah, you see again, the fact that the government would
- 40:50Speaker 2: a governor would just lie like this. Nobody the ICE
- 40:52Speaker 2: is not going up the cars and busting windows. You'd
- 40:55Speaker 2: have to drive into their operation. Disrupt it. They would
- 40:59Speaker 2: then have to order you to get out of the car.
- 41:02Speaker 2: You'd have to refuse to get out of the car.
- 41:04Speaker 2: You'd have to refuse to comply, you'd have to resist arrest.
- 41:08Speaker 2: If you refuse to get out of there, then they
- 41:09Speaker 2: would bust the window. So she's lying.
- 41:11Speaker 12: About that are getting shot and killed by these out
- 41:15Speaker 12: of control proto military agents. And I think the President's trying.
- 41:19Speaker 2: I don't know what all it means, but it sounded good.
- 41:21Speaker 2: These proto military age, proto military whatever the.
- 41:24Speaker 12: Hell that is trying to incite the protesters so that
- 41:27Speaker 12: he can take America's eyes off the fact that his
- 41:31Speaker 12: militia that he's building around this country is actually attacking
- 41:35Speaker 12: American citizens.
- 41:38Speaker 2: Uh, you're laughing at us for Mom Donnie. Now we
- 41:40Speaker 2: can laugh at you. You got this wacko left winger
- 41:43Speaker 2: describing actual federal law enforcement as a militia. I think
- 41:49Speaker 2: you're going to have more of a problem with this
- 41:50Speaker 2: woman than we're going to have with Mom Donnie. Now,
- 41:54Speaker 2: the idea of ICE agents being sent into the cities
- 41:58Speaker 2: arresting people, starting with the criminal illegals. Who would come
- 42:02Speaker 2: up with such a thing, Well, Barack Obama did it
- 42:05Speaker 2: all the time, to the tune of a couple million
- 42:08Speaker 2: over his eight years. Barack Obama did it all the time,
- 42:12Speaker 2: exactly the same operations, exactly the same thing with ice,
- 42:16Speaker 2: and he deported them. Nobody said a word. Why it
- 42:19Speaker 2: was a Democrat, but Barack Obama. Actually, Obama could suit
- 42:24Speaker 2: Trump for plagiarism. Everything Trump is doing comes from the
- 42:26Speaker 2: Obama administration.
- 42:28Speaker 13: Undocumented workers broke our immigration laws, and I believe that
- 42:31Speaker 13: they must be held accountable, especially those who may be dangerous.
- 42:36Speaker 13: That's why over the past six years, deportations of criminals
- 42:40Speaker 13: are up eighty percent, and that's why we're going to
- 42:43Speaker 13: keep focusing enforcement resources on actual threats to our security.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Yeah, try to name something Donald Trump has done in
- 42:51Speaker 2: office that Obama or Clinton didn't do or Biden. I
- 42:56Speaker 2: don't think you can do it. I don't think it's possible.
- 42:58Speaker 2: Everything you hate that he's done, Obama did it, Clinton
- 43:01Speaker 2: did it. Everything he said the Democrats said, here's Bill Clinton.
- 43:04Speaker 2: All Americans, not.
- 43:06Speaker 14: Only in the states most heavily affected, but in every
- 43:08Speaker 14: place in this country are rightly disturbed by the large
- 43:11Speaker 14: numbers of illegal aliens entering our country. The jobs they
- 43:17Speaker 14: hold might otherwise be held by citizens or legal immigrants.
- 43:20Speaker 14: The public service they use imposed burdens on our taxpayers.
- 43:24Speaker 14: That's why our administration has moved aggressively to secure our
- 43:27Speaker 14: borders more by hiring a record number of new border guards,
- 43:30Speaker 14: by deporting twice as many criminal aliens as ever before.
- 43:36Speaker 2: Just think about this. If John F. Kennedy came back
- 43:38Speaker 2: to life and saw today's Democratic Party, the screaming nutjob,
- 43:45Speaker 2: ridiculous looking women in Minnesota attacking ice. If John F.
- 43:49Speaker 2: Kennedy came back to life today and saw his Democratic Party,
- 43:52Speaker 2: he just started to cry. Also, Al Sharpton out picketing
- 43:56Speaker 2: with the nurses. Can you imagine Martin Luther King coming
- 44:00Speaker 2: back to life. Imagine Martin Luther King comes back and
- 44:04Speaker 2: see who's running things now, Al Sharpton.
- 44:07Speaker 15: Martin Luther King died in Memphis fighting for wages for
- 44:13Speaker 15: garbage workers, and I believe he would want those of
- 44:17Speaker 15: us to come in his tradition to be standing with nurses.
- 44:24Speaker 2: I don't think Martin Luther King if he came back
- 44:26Speaker 2: and saw Al Sharpton flying around those private jets, glombing
- 44:32Speaker 2: money out of corporations, showing up at problems getting paid
- 44:36Speaker 2: to go away. I don't think Martin Luther King would
- 44:39Speaker 2: be for that. Now you want the strangest story in
- 44:41Speaker 2: the news, try to figure this one out. Jeb Bush
- 44:49Speaker 2: heaping praise on Donald Trump. Jeb Bush heaps praise on
- 44:54Speaker 2: Trump's unprecedented support for Iranians. Florida Governor Jeb Bush credited
- 45:02Speaker 2: his former foe President Donald Trump for historic leadership. Now
- 45:08Speaker 2: what the hell is this all about? Now? Nobody hated
- 45:12Speaker 2: the Donald Trump more than the Bushes. And I don't
- 45:15Speaker 2: blame them. I mean, not that they should hate them,
- 45:18Speaker 2: but I can understand why they would hate him. The
- 45:21Speaker 2: Trump campaign began, he knocked out the Hillary Clinton, the
- 45:25Speaker 2: Clinton dynasty, but the Bush dynasty that's been around for
- 45:29Speaker 2: forty years. They thought that Trump, a little amateur, Trump,
- 45:33Speaker 2: would have no chance against the Bush dynasty. But he
- 45:36Speaker 2: just wiped out the Bush dynasty, ended the careers of
- 45:40Speaker 2: the Bushes of Jeb Bush. So they had every reason
- 45:42Speaker 2: to be furious, bitter. That's why Carl Rove, all the
- 45:45Speaker 2: Bushies all hate Trump so much. Why all of a
- 45:48Speaker 2: sudden would Donald Trump get praised by Jeb Bush. Why
- 45:52Speaker 2: would Jeb Bush by be calling Trump a historic leader?
- 45:56Speaker 2: Buttering him up, praising him. What the hell could that
- 45:58Speaker 2: be all about? Well, if I had a guess, the
- 46:01Speaker 2: only time I've run into Jeb Bush over the last
- 46:03Speaker 2: few years since Trump took office, I'd see him. He'd
- 46:07Speaker 2: run into him here in New York, usually in a
- 46:08Speaker 2: restaurant where he would be at a table with a
- 46:11Speaker 2: bunch of very very very top level business guys with bushy.
- 46:16Speaker 2: Bush would come to New York be meeting with these
- 46:19Speaker 2: top top business guys who want to do something and
- 46:22Speaker 2: energy and oil and business. So I would assume he's
- 46:28Speaker 2: a kind of lobbying for them. Why would they bring
- 46:31Speaker 2: Bush in? Jeb Bush not exactly the greatest business brain
- 46:34Speaker 2: in America, but if he convinced him he could get
- 46:37Speaker 2: things done for them, There's a lot of money. There's
- 46:40Speaker 2: millions and millions and millions in lobbying fees, and yeah,
- 46:44Speaker 2: even the Bushes need to make some money, need to
- 46:47Speaker 2: earn some money. So I would think Jeb maybe all
- 46:52Speaker 2: that business dried up. He's trying to get back in
- 46:54Speaker 2: good graces at Trump. Maybe even show up in the
- 46:56Speaker 2: White House, have a picture or two of Trump, and
- 46:58Speaker 2: then all these big business guys We'll start meeting with
- 47:01Speaker 2: them even more, paying them even more to lobby on
- 47:04Speaker 2: their behalf. Hey, a great thing happened in Palm Beach
- 47:09Speaker 2: over the weekend. They decided to rename the street, the
- 47:12Speaker 2: one that leads to the airport. It's a stretch of
- 47:16Speaker 2: Southern Boulevard from the airport. Tomorrow a lago, they're going
- 47:19Speaker 2: to rename it and put up the street signs President
- 47:24Speaker 2: Donald J. Trump Boulevard, President Donald J. Trump Boulevard. This
- 47:31Speaker 2: is very important because it will make many of the
- 47:34Speaker 2: remaining liberals left wingers that live in pom Beach absolutely
- 47:39Speaker 2: nuts every time they drive down the street to have
- 47:43Speaker 2: to see those signs. I can think of a couple
- 47:45Speaker 2: I know a few people that are the biggest Trumpeters
- 47:48Speaker 2: on Earth. They live on Palm Beach and they're always
- 47:50Speaker 2: going to the airport and they have to drive down
- 47:53Speaker 2: that road. So every time they drive down there, they'll
- 47:56Speaker 2: see President Donald J. Trump Boulevard. Now, a couple of
- 48:00Speaker 2: them that I know live in one of those Trump buildings.
- 48:04Speaker 14: Uh.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Trump built three beautiful high rise apartment buildings on the
- 48:07Speaker 2: Inner coastal many many years ago. It's called the Trump
- 48:10Speaker 2: Palm Beach or something. A couple of them living there
- 48:13Speaker 2: that I know, the biggest Trumpeter. What do they do? Well?
- 48:16Speaker 2: They had the name removed from the building. They feel
- 48:19Speaker 2: better now, but they won't be able to remove these
- 48:21Speaker 2: street signs. They're going to be there for years. Hey,
- 48:23Speaker 2: we'll take some calls. We'll do that. Next eight hundred
- 48:26Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number
- 48:29Speaker 2: eight hundred three to two one zero seven ten.
- 48:34Speaker 1: Get Mark on demand by setting a presead for his
- 48:37Speaker 1: podcast on the iHeartRadio app. Now back to Mark Simon.
- 48:42Speaker 2: On wor Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to
- 48:46Speaker 2: Tim in Saint Louis. Tim, how you doing?
- 48:48Speaker 16: Hey, Mark, so good, glad to have you back. Hey, look,
- 48:51Speaker 16: got to ask you a question. Next time you go
- 48:53Speaker 16: on vacation, is it possible you could possibly maybe bring
- 48:57Speaker 16: on Rachel Maddow or don let me to guess hosts
- 49:00Speaker 16: instead of Curtis Man. Curtis's TDS was running rampant.
- 49:05Speaker 2: He does, I don't I heard some of it. He
- 49:07Speaker 2: doesn't agree with the Trump on Greenland, but that's okay.
- 49:11Speaker 16: I tell you what though, when the band thing he
- 49:13Speaker 16: did was you know, don't he talks to any Trumps
- 49:16Speaker 16: supporters of drank the kool aid. You know, it's one
- 49:19Speaker 16: thing in your opinion and I don't agree. But the
- 49:22Speaker 16: thing is when you.
- 49:23Speaker 2: But Curtis got a lot of great stuff to talk about,
- 49:25Speaker 2: all kinds of things. You know. Ed Cotch used to
- 49:27Speaker 2: have a rule, and he used to say, if you
- 49:29Speaker 2: agree with me on nine out of twelve things, vote
- 49:31Speaker 2: for me. If you agree on twelve out of twelve.
- 49:34Speaker 2: See a psychiatrist's you're not going to agree with him
- 49:36Speaker 2: on everything. This stuff with me you won't agree on.
- 49:39Speaker 16: I could see why Vincent doesn't call in because.
- 49:41Speaker 2: He must know more. I have a feeling something happened
- 49:44Speaker 2: way back when with what's going on? What do you
- 49:47Speaker 2: do in Saint Louis?
- 49:48Speaker 16: Freezing my butt off?
- 49:50Speaker 2: Really?
- 49:51Speaker 16: Damn Cole Derek, Yeah, for sure.
- 49:53Speaker 2: It's not warmer on St. Louis.
- 49:55Speaker 16: You're not a little further really not really so. But anyway,
- 49:58Speaker 16: great show. Lack a really got turned off.
- 50:01Speaker 2: But oh, calm down, it's not that bad.
- 50:04Speaker 5: Bad.
- 50:04Speaker 16: I was just borner, but just me or if you're
- 50:07Speaker 16: hearing anybody else.
- 50:07Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sure some people didn't like the criticism of Trump,
- 50:10Speaker 2: but that was like five minutes out of two hours.
- 50:12Speaker 2: I'm sure Curtis even me. You'll find things you don't
- 50:16Speaker 2: agree with me on, but you can't judge by one thing.
- 50:20Speaker 2: Let's go to Randall in Maryland. Randall, how you doing.
- 50:24Speaker 5: Oh Mark?
- 50:25Speaker 6: Have you heard about this college basketball scandal?
- 50:29Speaker 2: Yeah? These are these students on the team, and there
- 50:33Speaker 2: were bad teams. They got paid like ten thousand each
- 50:37Speaker 2: to lose the game. Make it even worse than people
- 50:39Speaker 2: thought it would be, right.
- 50:42Speaker 6: The same old story. But I have yet to hear
- 50:45Speaker 6: any names of colleges or players.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but I thought it was pretty good on their part.
- 50:50Speaker 2: I mean, good for them showing innovation. They made ten
- 50:52Speaker 2: thousand in a game, these students. You don't think it
- 50:54Speaker 2: was good. Well, it's a losing team. They're expected to
- 50:57Speaker 2: lose by twenty points. But these makers want to have
- 51:01Speaker 2: them be so bad that they lose by forty points
- 51:04Speaker 2: and would help the book makers. But hey, if you
- 51:07Speaker 2: stink at basketball, why do not get paid ten thousand
- 51:09Speaker 2: a game? It's a all right, you don't.
- 51:13Speaker 6: Agree with me, Well, it's not being covered. I don't
- 51:16Speaker 6: who are they and who is being charged?
- 51:19Speaker 2: Well, how do you know about it if it's not
- 51:20Speaker 2: being covered?
- 51:22Speaker 6: Well, I heard about that.
- 51:24Speaker 2: It's being covered. Well, just google it, it'll come up.
- 51:26Speaker 2: It's not a big story where they'd be right in
- 51:28Speaker 2: the front page, but google it'll, it'll come up. Are
- 51:30Speaker 2: you a gambler? Do you bet on the games?
- 51:34Speaker 6: I don't bet on games, but I do gamble.
- 51:37Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's what I thought. You see, I don't gamble,
- 51:39Speaker 2: I don't bet on games. I don't care if they
- 51:41Speaker 2: do it. But yeah, so that's what I thought. Well
- 51:45Speaker 2: google it, it'll, it'll come up. Hey if I was
- 51:47Speaker 2: in college. When I was in college, I didn't play basketball.
- 51:51Speaker 2: But if somebody offered me ten thousand a game to
- 51:53Speaker 2: be even worse, hey, I'd take it. Why not. Let's
- 51:57Speaker 2: go to phil and Long Island, Phil. How you doing?
- 52:00Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 52:00Speaker 5: Hello, Mark?
- 52:01Speaker 17: Getting back to the fraud in Minneapolis, which you have
- 52:07Speaker 17: Waltz and everybody's trying to hide up by putting up
- 52:10Speaker 17: this insurrection things. But I've heard that Mayor fries White.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Yeah, I know you're going to find out everybody profited. Hey,
- 52:22Speaker 2: I hate to break it to you that you vote
- 52:24Speaker 2: for these socialists. One thing that happens when you get
- 52:28Speaker 2: a socialist, they make a fortune and everything gets worse
- 52:33Speaker 2: for you. The socialist always makes a fortune. Who's the
- 52:37Speaker 2: biggest socialist in government, Bernie Sanders. How many homes does
- 52:41Speaker 2: he have now? Four homes, four big mansions. He's doing
- 52:46Speaker 2: very very well. He and his wife made millions and
- 52:49Speaker 2: millions and millions on these campaigns. Build de Blasio and
- 52:54Speaker 2: his wife. Remember they started that program Thrive NYC. One
- 53:00Speaker 2: billion dollars went missing. This happens all the time, this
- 53:04Speaker 2: daycare fraud thing in Minnesota. It looks like they're now
- 53:08Speaker 2: estimating nineteen or twenty billion, not million. Nineteen billion was robbed.
- 53:16Speaker 2: You're going to find a lot of that money went
- 53:18Speaker 2: into a lot of public officials pockets. It happens all
- 53:21Speaker 2: the time. Watch for it to happen with mom, Donnie.
- 53:23Speaker 2: That's why he's talking about a billion dollar program to
- 53:26Speaker 2: do this, a billion dollar program to do that. There's
- 53:28Speaker 2: skimming and money going sideways on those programs that socialists
- 53:34Speaker 2: always end up wealthy. Well, the people who voted for
- 53:37Speaker 2: them end up even in worst shape after socialism. Hey,
- 53:41Speaker 2: when we come back, the brilliant columnist Liz Peak will
- 53:45Speaker 2: be with us next and we'll talk to her in
- 53:46Speaker 2: a moment on seven to ten WR mister.
- 53:50Speaker 1: New York marsalone on wor Well.
- 53:55Speaker 2: The brilliant columnist Liz Peak, and of course you see
- 53:57Speaker 2: her all over television. But you know, besides, the commis
- 54:00Speaker 2: should also go to her site, lizpeak dot com every
- 54:04Speaker 2: day the best news and analysis. And when you go
- 54:07Speaker 2: to lizpeak dot com, sign up for the daily newsletter.
- 54:11Speaker 2: The news will come to you every day. Write free,
- 54:12Speaker 2: write to your email lizpeak dot com, Lizpeak. How you doing.
- 54:17Speaker 11: I'm terrific. Thank you. Lots going on, Mark.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Hey, it's one year today. The inauguration of Donald Trump
- 54:23Speaker 2: was one year ago. First year today? What do you
- 54:26Speaker 2: think is it? Have you ever seen anything as busy
- 54:28Speaker 2: as this first year?
- 54:31Speaker 5: No.
- 54:31Speaker 18: I to say that the president has been a bold
- 54:34Speaker 18: and energetic leader, I think vastly understates the accomplishments that
- 54:39Speaker 18: he has rolled up in his first year. I mean,
- 54:42Speaker 18: it's really pretty unbelievably remarkable. All the while, remember seeing
- 54:48Speaker 18: the press on a daily basis handling phone, you know,
- 54:52Speaker 18: handling interviews and conversations with let's face it, mostly hostile press.
- 54:59Speaker 18: But I I actually wrote a column about it today
- 55:03Speaker 18: and just here's just a sampling of what he's accomplished.
- 55:08Speaker 18: So we boosted the recruitment for our military, dismantled DEI
- 55:13Speaker 18: and a lot of the climate agenda, pushed NATO to
- 55:18Speaker 18: up their spending for their own defense. Tossed overboard a
- 55:21Speaker 18: lot of regulations that Joe Biden put in plays that
- 55:24Speaker 18: really slowed down our country's progress, challenged our woke universities
- 55:28Speaker 18: in a very constructive way, got rid of Nicola Maduro,
- 55:34Speaker 18: the head of Venezuela, defended women's sports, significantly derailed Iran's
- 55:39Speaker 18: nuclear program, oversaw a whole bunch of health initiatives from
- 55:43Speaker 18: RFK Junior, like getting rid of artificial food dies, shrunk
- 55:47Speaker 18: the bureaucracy, which I think is unbelievably important, the federal bureaucracy,
- 55:52Speaker 18: and pushed through a massive reconciliation bill that lowered taxes,
- 55:57Speaker 18: and that was basically, had it not past, you were
- 56:01Speaker 18: going to have this major tax cliff at the end
- 56:04Speaker 18: of last year. So that's just some of it, by
- 56:06Speaker 18: no means an exhaustive list. But honestly, Mark, who has
- 56:10Speaker 18: ever accomplished all that much in the first year, I
- 56:13Speaker 18: don't know.
- 56:13Speaker 2: Yeah, we tried this earlier, for millions of years. They
- 56:16Speaker 2: always wanted to get some of the great CEOs in
- 56:19Speaker 2: the private sector, maybe you know, maybe they could be
- 56:21Speaker 2: a president, you know, Jack welcher LEI Koca. Well, we
- 56:25Speaker 2: finally got a CEO from the private sector, and unlike
- 56:28Speaker 2: a normal president, it does a couple of things a year.
- 56:30Speaker 2: As a committee of me. This guy goes a mile
- 56:33Speaker 2: a minute, tries to get fifty things done a day
- 56:35Speaker 2: like most great CEOs. But is that a good mix
- 56:38Speaker 2: with government or will we ever do it again?
- 56:41Speaker 14: Well?
- 56:42Speaker 18: I hope so, because, as you say, the default is
- 56:46Speaker 18: a career politician like Joe Biden, whose idea about tackling
- 56:50Speaker 18: a problem is to convene a lot of people like talk, talk, talk,
- 56:53Speaker 18: and then pass the buck to Congress, which convenes a
- 56:57Speaker 18: conference and a study group and talks, talks, talks, and
- 57:01Speaker 18: basically ends up doing nothing. I mean, I actually think
- 57:04Speaker 18: that's a fair indictment of the way our system works.
- 57:07Speaker 18: There's far too little accountability. I am not happy with
- 57:11Speaker 18: some of the things that Trump has done recently, but
- 57:14Speaker 18: you got to say the guy is accountable. I mean,
- 57:16Speaker 18: he's out there every day confronting his critics. The stock
- 57:20Speaker 18: market and other measures pulling and stuff will weigh whether
- 57:25Speaker 18: he's doing a good job or a bad job, but
- 57:27Speaker 18: the reality is he's taking risks, excuse me, and he's
- 57:31Speaker 18: getting things done and he's not finished.
- 57:34Speaker 2: Pat Now, Minnesota, you got videos showing these protesters just
- 57:38Speaker 2: the most awful behavior ever. What's so while you see
- 57:42Speaker 2: a video where the ICE maybe got the wrong guy,
- 57:44Speaker 2: but what do you think in the end this is
- 57:46Speaker 2: going to do for the midterms?
- 57:49Speaker 11: Well, I do want to see de escalation.
- 57:52Speaker 18: I mean the idea that Governor Walls is now calling
- 57:56Speaker 18: in the National Guard and the Trump is threatening to
- 58:00Speaker 18: call in troops. I mean, what are we going to
- 58:02Speaker 18: have a war in Minneapolis with these elements fighting each other.
- 58:06Speaker 18: That's not tenable. It's not going to happen. But somehow, Frankly,
- 58:11Speaker 18: you know what, I think you should just say to
- 58:13Speaker 18: the people of Minnesota. Okay, you're governor and you mayor
- 58:18Speaker 18: fry of Minneapolis really don't want ICE getting the violent
- 58:21Speaker 18: criminals out of these communities, mostly Somali criminals in those state,
- 58:27Speaker 18: in that state. So we're just going to leave you
- 58:30Speaker 18: to it. We're going to have a ring around your state.
- 58:32Speaker 18: I'm serious. If you don't want you got them, you
- 58:35Speaker 18: got them. We're going to make sure they don't go
- 58:37Speaker 18: any place else because a lot of them are just
- 58:39Speaker 18: really horrible people, child molesters and rapists and murderers. But
- 58:44Speaker 18: if you're happy to have them here, we leave you
- 58:47Speaker 18: to it and see what happens. I think I don't
- 58:50Speaker 18: think people in Minnesota would be very excited about that,
- 58:54Speaker 18: and I think that might end up, you know, having
- 58:57Speaker 18: local law enforcement kind of do a pivot and say, well,
- 59:00Speaker 18: wait a minute, that's not what we had in mind,
- 59:03Speaker 18: So maybe it would work.
- 59:04Speaker 2: I like that President should announce Minnesota is now a
- 59:08Speaker 2: safe space. We ice will not enter Minnesota every illegal
- 59:12Speaker 2: just go there and you'll be safe. Let them all,
- 59:14Speaker 2: all of them go there. Perfect.
- 59:17Speaker 5: Now.
- 59:18Speaker 2: Hey, I'm listening to this new governor of New Jersey
- 59:20Speaker 2: and she's stug about the focus on Greenland when people
- 59:23Speaker 2: are struggling to pay for groceries and the prices of
- 59:26Speaker 2: groceries are going way up. Well, that's not true at all.
- 59:28Speaker 2: The price has been coming down all year, haven't they.
- 59:31Speaker 18: Well, in the rate of inflation is certainly down from
- 59:34Speaker 18: the nine point one percent that it reached under Joe Biden.
- 59:38Speaker 18: But unfortunately, because of several years of Bidenomics and high inflation,
- 59:42Speaker 18: price is escalated and they don't easily come down. Some
- 59:45Speaker 18: things have come down, like gasoline, which is a very
- 59:48Speaker 18: big deal for Americans, definitely cheaper than it was a
- 59:52Speaker 18: year ago or two years ago. Price of eggs, which
- 59:55Speaker 18: was a big crisis you know, early in the year,
- 59:58Speaker 18: early last year, has come down. But look, I mean, unfortunately,
- 1:00:03Speaker 18: it's very difficult to get prices to come down. But
- 1:00:07Speaker 18: mark what's more important than the price level of cereal.
- 1:00:11Speaker 18: And by the way, that's one of the big things
- 1:00:13Speaker 18: that going up in price right now is things like
- 1:00:16Speaker 18: those processed foods from the big companies. Is wages, Real
- 1:00:21Speaker 18: wages are going up under President Trump, and they didn't
- 1:00:24Speaker 18: under Joe Biden. So you have American consumers better off.
- 1:00:29Speaker 18: I know that the polling shows people unhappy with the economy.
- 1:00:33Speaker 11: I think there are two elements there.
- 1:00:34Speaker 18: One, yeah, you go to the grocery store, you think,
- 1:00:36Speaker 18: holy crow, when did that become ten dollars? But then
- 1:00:40Speaker 18: the other thing I think is that there is this
- 1:00:43Speaker 18: underlying anxiety about AI and about what it means for
- 1:00:46Speaker 18: the jobs market. Anxieties, which I will hasten to add
- 1:00:50Speaker 18: are always magnified by a hostile press, as are the
- 1:00:55Speaker 18: price concerns that people are voicing. I mean, really, if
- 1:00:59Speaker 18: you read the financial news, you just have to take
- 1:01:02Speaker 18: a step back every single day and say, okay, you
- 1:01:04Speaker 18: know what, this is not a fair representation. When did
- 1:01:07Speaker 18: you see, by the way, as an example, the media
- 1:01:11Speaker 18: big headlines about the growth rates that we've seen in
- 1:01:14Speaker 18: the last couple of quarters. You don't see that because
- 1:01:17Speaker 18: that's favorable to President Trump, so they're not going to
- 1:01:20Speaker 18: talk about that. When did you see about the big
- 1:01:22Speaker 18: investment boom or productivity and gains in our country? Those
- 1:01:26Speaker 18: are extremely important financial matrix, and yet the media some
- 1:01:31Speaker 18: ignores them and would rather focus on.
- 1:01:35Speaker 11: Issues that are important for sure, like.
- 1:01:38Speaker 18: Affordability because that's a Democrat favorable issue. Right now, let's
- 1:01:42Speaker 18: talk about housing though, if you will. There's a number
- 1:01:47Speaker 18: of indicies that measure housing affordability.
- 1:01:50Speaker 11: They are improving. Have you seen that headline lately? No,
- 1:01:53Speaker 11: you haven't.
- 1:01:54Speaker 18: Mortgages lately have come down significantly. The President clearly is
- 1:01:59Speaker 18: pushing for even more reductions. So some things are getting better.
- 1:02:03Speaker 18: But the combination of lower taxes, less regulation, high growth,
- 1:02:08Speaker 18: and incomes improving means that every time we have a
- 1:02:12Speaker 18: read on consumers such as just in the recent days
- 1:02:16Speaker 18: the holiday sales number. Retail sales turns out haha, guess
- 1:02:21Speaker 18: what better than expected because the expectations constantly are so
- 1:02:25Speaker 18: beaten down by again a hostile press. And I don't
- 1:02:29Speaker 18: mean to blame everything on the press. I think the
- 1:02:31Speaker 18: Republicans done an absolutely appalling job at selling the big
- 1:02:37Speaker 18: tax bill. Democrats are out there saying, oh, it only
- 1:02:40Speaker 18: favors the wealthy. That is just patently not true. But
- 1:02:44Speaker 18: Republicans never talked it up because I think they were
- 1:02:48Speaker 18: just scared.
- 1:02:49Speaker 11: I don't know. Honestly, I'm kind.
- 1:02:52Speaker 18: Of pretty worked up about the Republicans' lame efforts on
- 1:02:56Speaker 18: messaging and a number of other fronts. The answer is,
- 1:03:01Speaker 18: it's a pretty good bill, and I think people see
- 1:03:03Speaker 18: their tax refunds are up substantially, and they begin to
- 1:03:06Speaker 18: look at their take on pay, they're going to be
- 1:03:08Speaker 18: pretty happy with it.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Well, well, great points, Liz Peak, thanks for being with us.

- 1:04:07Speaker 2: It's not the left wing crazy climate change. The guy
