Rangers Bolster Bullpen with Trevor Williams | Texas Rangers News
The Texas Rangers just pulled off a bullpen boost by signing Trevor Williams — a former starter turned reliever who’s ready to roll after elbow surgery and a solid 2.65 ERA in limited outings. Signed right before Tuesday’s game, he’s eligible for the playoffs and could pitch multiple innings as the team deals with injury woes. The move came fast, but talks started months ago. They also brought back John King on a minor league deal — a familiar face from their past. Both signings signal a serious push to fortify the rotation as the season winds down.
