- 0:01Speaker 1: Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we thank you
- 0:07Speaker 1: for all that you have done so far in this meeting,
- 0:12Speaker 1: in this conference, for the outpouring of your Spirit, for
- 0:17Speaker 1: all chance you have granted for your outstretched hand. And
- 0:22Speaker 1: as we go into this session, I ask in the
- 0:25Speaker 1: mighty name of Jesus that you, through my lips, water
- 0:33Speaker 1: the seeds that have already been planted, and add some
- 0:37Speaker 1: significant contribution to the work that is already going on.
- 0:42Speaker 1: I ask that you grant utterance, that I speak as
- 0:44Speaker 1: your oracle, that your God goes forth, and that light
- 0:48Speaker 1: shines on our path, and wisdom is imparted unto us.
- 0:52Speaker 1: In Jesus' name, amen. All right, may all be seated.
- 1:00Speaker 1: Let's put our hands together for Apostle Selman. This has
- 1:04Speaker 1: been a conference with excellence. And we cannot separate the
- 1:15Speaker 1: quality of revelation and impartation that has been going on
- 1:21Speaker 1: from the spirit of the convener also, who's operations in
- 1:30Speaker 1: the spirit, creates an environment for the kinds of things
- 1:36Speaker 1: that we are hearing. So Apostle, we appreciate you deeply
- 1:40Speaker 1: for what God is using you to do in this
- 1:42Speaker 1: generation around the world. It's no longer Nigeria, it's around
- 1:49Speaker 1: the world. I even suspect he's bigger in countries outside
- 1:54Speaker 1: Nigeria than even in Nigeria. Amen. Amen. All right, my
- 2:02Speaker 1: dear friend, Reverend Kula came with all cylinders firing. And
- 2:09Speaker 1: that was a powerful message. All right, so I'll go
- 2:14Speaker 1: back to Revelations chapter 3 and verse 18 and simply
- 2:19Speaker 1: finish what we started last night. The I solve part
- 2:26Speaker 1: in Revelations 3 and verse 18. It says, so I
- 2:30Speaker 1: counsel thee to buy of me gold that is tried
- 2:34Speaker 1: with fire that thou mayest be rich and white raiment
- 2:41Speaker 1: that thou mayest be clothed and that the shame of
- 2:45Speaker 1: thy nakedness do not appear and to anoint thine eyes,
- 2:51Speaker 1: verse 18 still, verse 18, with eyesalve there that thou
- 2:58Speaker 1: mayest see So this afternoon, I want to speak about
- 3:06Speaker 1: our eyes being anointed with eyes of that we may see.
- 3:13Speaker 1: If we go to Genesis chapter 19 and verse 10
- 3:17Speaker 1: and verse 11, this was the story of what happened
- 3:21Speaker 1: in Sodom and Gomorrah.
- 3:23Speaker 2: And I want to talk about five levels of seeing.
- 3:27Speaker 1: In other words, five levels at which you can have
- 3:31Speaker 1: spiritual sight. And hence, Sodom and Gomorrah, the angels had
- 3:36Speaker 1: come to deliver Lot. And the Bible says the men
- 3:42Speaker 1: had gathered together, everybody in the town, and they wanted
- 3:46Speaker 1: to take, all right, to themselves, the angels. But these
- 3:51Speaker 1: men put forth their hands, those angels now, and pulled
- 3:55Speaker 1: Lot into the house. So then... and shut the door.
- 4:04Speaker 1: Now the next verse says, and they smote the men
- 4:11Speaker 1: that were at the door. Now where were the men?
- 4:16Speaker 1: The men were at the door. And they smote the
- 4:22Speaker 1: men that were at the door of the house with blindness.
- 4:31Speaker 1: both small and great. So they worried themselves to find
- 4:39Speaker 1: the door. When there is spiritual blindness, the blessing there
- 4:46Speaker 1: is right before you.
- 4:50Speaker 2: They were standing at the door.
- 4:54Speaker 1: And from morning till evening, They were going around at
- 5:00Speaker 1: the door and never saw the door. And they got
- 5:06Speaker 1: tired and left the place because they were blind spiritually.
- 5:15Speaker 1: And so when it talks about this eye slave here,
- 5:18Speaker 1: or eye salve rather.
- 5:21Speaker 2: It's talking about the opening up of our eyes.
- 5:26Speaker 1: The eye salve is an ointment for the eyes that
- 5:31Speaker 1: causes you to see and have spiritual insight and also clarity.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And any blessing that God gives, which brings a breakthrough,
- 5:50Speaker 1: he always uses something that is available to you that
- 5:58Speaker 1: is inside your house is just that you are not
- 6:03Speaker 1: seeing it correctly. When Jesus wanted to feed the multitude,
- 6:12Speaker 1: at the end of the day, they talked about the money,
- 6:14Speaker 1: they talked about things. Jesus said, go into the crowd.
- 6:20Speaker 1: Whatever you can find, bring it. The reason why they
- 6:25Speaker 1: ate loaves and fish was because what they brought were
- 6:30Speaker 1: five loaves and fish. And the person who brought it
- 6:36Speaker 1: didn't see the thing correctly. He said, what is this.
- 6:42Speaker 2: Among so many?
- 6:46Speaker 1: In other words, without spiritual eyes, you will cast away
- 6:54Speaker 1: Things that God himself has designed to bring about multiplication
- 7:04Speaker 1: and massive breakthroughs into your life. It's an issue of
- 7:08Speaker 1: recognizing it spiritually. God never goes outside of you to
- 7:16Speaker 1: bring about what will bring that significant breakthrough in your life.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Everybody that has worked with God with prophetic insight, they
- 7:28Speaker 1: have always known that. That when the woman came, Elijah
- 7:36Speaker 1: asked her, what do you have in your house? The
- 7:40Speaker 1: woman didn't see it correctly. She said, all that we
- 7:43Speaker 1: have is just this oil here, cruz of oil, and
- 7:47Speaker 1: this small muscle here, and we will eat that and die.
- 7:52Speaker 1: And she did not recognize what was in her hands.
- 7:59Speaker 1: Elisha said, what should I do? Tell me, what do
- 8:01Speaker 1: you have in your house? Thine handmaid hath not anything.
- 8:08Speaker 1: In other words, she said, I don't have anything. She
- 8:12Speaker 1: didn't consider it to be anything worthwhile.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I'm going somewhere.
- 8:18Speaker 1: But Elisha, people with prophetic insight, they know it is
- 8:22Speaker 1: always in your house. When God met with Moses, he
- 8:28Speaker 1: said to Moses.
- 8:29Speaker 2: What do you have in your hand?
- 8:32Speaker 1: And Moses looked at it and said, it's just a rod.
- 8:37Speaker 1: And God said, it's more than a rod. And so
- 8:40Speaker 1: when there is spiritual sight here, a person begins to
- 8:46Speaker 1: see Things that they have been calling casual, looking at,
- 8:54Speaker 1: the job that they have, that they have been looking
- 8:56Speaker 1: at this and saying, I'm just a front desk person.
- 9:02Speaker 1: But with spiritual insight, and that's what I want to
- 9:05Speaker 1: discuss this afternoon. When the eyes salve upon the eyes there,
- 9:10Speaker 1: a person begins to see beyond the ordinary, into the
- 9:17Speaker 1: true nature of things. And it's from there, stuff begins
- 9:22Speaker 1: to come out. Which means this is more powerful, that's
- 9:27Speaker 1: what was said in Revelations 3.8, than even riches in.
- 9:32Speaker 2: A bank account.
- 9:34Speaker 1: Because what Peter said was 200 penny, which means this
- 9:39Speaker 1: amount of money is not enough to even feed these people.
- 9:43Speaker 1: But Jesus had that insight into things and he understood it.
- 9:49Speaker 2: So he said, go in.
- 9:52Speaker 1: God always has the provision in that particular place.
- 9:58Speaker 2: When the wine finished in the feast.
- 10:00Speaker 1: And they came to Jesus, Jesus understood that the miracle
- 10:05Speaker 1: must always be accessible. It is something before you that
- 10:10Speaker 1: God is going to use. And so he looked around
- 10:14Speaker 1: and saw it. and said, fill this pot with water.
- 10:19Speaker 1: There were empty pots that were right there. Nobody had
- 10:24Speaker 1: ever seen anybody do that. And it's very frustrating when
- 10:30Speaker 1: you don't have spiritual insight. The same way those people
- 10:33Speaker 1: were at the door, and they worried themselves to find
- 10:36Speaker 1: the door. Without this kind of insight there, real insight,
- 10:44Speaker 1: What happens is you can be praying about God providing
- 10:48Speaker 1: wine for you in that feast. And because you are
- 10:52Speaker 1: not seen correctly, the empty pots he wants to use
- 10:56Speaker 1: that look empty. And the water that he wants to
- 10:59Speaker 1: use that looks like water that is common. You can
- 11:03Speaker 1: even carry away the pots because we are praying. And because,
- 11:07Speaker 1: you know, you're believing that the same way the wine came,
- 11:11Speaker 1: the first way is the way he's going to do it.
- 11:13Speaker 2: And so you miss out on what God wants to do.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So the first thing I came to do this afternoon
- 11:21Speaker 1: is to understand, to make you understand, you are empowered.
- 11:26Speaker 2: And that to him that has.
- 11:28Speaker 1: It shall be given.
- 11:31Speaker 2: But to him that says.
- 11:32Speaker 1: I have not, even that which he has shall be
- 11:35Speaker 1: taken away from him. In other words, everybody has something.
- 11:41Speaker 1: But some people look at themselves and say, I have not.
- 11:45Speaker 1: I belong, you know, to the people that have not.
- 11:49Speaker 1: And so what happens is, even that which they have
- 11:54Speaker 1: is taken away from them. But the people that say
- 11:58Speaker 1: that I have, and they're conscious of that, to them
- 12:03Speaker 1: more will be given. Amen. You know, many years ago,
- 12:07Speaker 1: I was reading a book by an economist on the
- 12:09Speaker 1: mystery of capital.
- 12:11Speaker 2: And it was Hernando de Soto.
- 12:13Speaker 1: He was a Chilean, and I think Bill Clinton describes
- 12:16Speaker 1: him as the greatest mind, economic mind, all right, in
- 12:19Speaker 1: the developing world. And he says, if you combine all
- 12:23Speaker 1: the foreign investments that have ever, and he listed.
- 12:27Speaker 2: All of them, all that have come into Africa.
- 12:31Speaker 1: He said if you go into the savings of the
- 12:34Speaker 1: people that consider themselves poor in Africa and you gather
- 12:38Speaker 1: together all their savings, you will find out that it
- 12:42Speaker 1: exceeds every form of foreign investment that has come into
- 12:47Speaker 1: the continent.
- 12:48Speaker 2: That the wealth is actually with the people.
- 12:50Speaker 1: The problem is they are holding that thing in a
- 12:54Speaker 1: defective way. In other words, the scripture says the slothful
- 12:59Speaker 1: man does not roast what he took hunting. In other words,
- 13:04Speaker 1: he went to hunt, but he did not roast it,
- 13:08Speaker 1: which means he didn't derive full value out of what
- 13:12Speaker 1: he had in his hands. And so even though he
- 13:15Speaker 1: had come and hunted and felt that the hunting, you know,
- 13:18Speaker 1: the fiscal work he had done was the real work.
- 13:21Speaker 1: He said the real work is actually, all right, the
- 13:24Speaker 1: extraction from that particular.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Thing, the full value there.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Which means the man who killed the cow and ate it,
- 13:34Speaker 1: some other person has extracted value from it. They have
- 13:39Speaker 1: used the hunts to make what we call China plates.
- 13:42Speaker 1: They have used the hides and skin there to make
- 13:45Speaker 1: exotic bags that are worth thousands of dollars. They have
- 13:49Speaker 1: bought out a dairy industry with cheese, with butter, with
- 13:54Speaker 1: milk out of that. They have gone into every single
- 13:58Speaker 1: part of that cow that that man just killed and
- 14:01Speaker 1: ate and brought out industries worth billions out of those things.
- 14:06Speaker 1: So when we talk about eyes that see there, in
- 14:09Speaker 1: other words, God has always made.
- 14:11Speaker 2: The provision The issue is for us to have.
- 14:14Speaker 1: Eyes and eyes that see is more important and significant
- 14:19Speaker 1: than money that you have in your bank. Are you
- 14:21Speaker 1: following what I'm saying here? And so is this eye
- 14:25Speaker 1: solve here, which means the person goes into a territory
- 14:30Speaker 1: and is able to look and they don't waste time.
- 14:35Speaker 1: It has been said, a genius sees what other people
- 14:40Speaker 1: don't see. A skillful man can hit a target, but
- 14:45Speaker 1: the genius is the one that spots the target. And
- 14:49Speaker 1: so even though he doesn't have as much skill as
- 14:51Speaker 1: other people, he may not have as much resources as
- 14:54Speaker 1: other people, but because he saw it first and entered
- 14:59Speaker 1: into it first, he has that advantage, all right, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: he enters into certain things. So I want us to
- 15:07Speaker 1: understand this and embrace this and understand the power of
- 15:09Speaker 1: this I solved. In other words, it is always in
- 15:14Speaker 1: your house. The blessing is always in your house. If
- 15:19Speaker 1: you are a pastor, the people that will grow that
- 15:22Speaker 1: church and multiply that church are inside of that church.
- 15:27Speaker 1: You may be bypassing them. You may consider them as
- 15:30Speaker 1: being casual people. And you're not putting enough attention on them.
- 15:34Speaker 1: But the church, if it's going to grow organically, is
- 15:38Speaker 1: going to come by you recognizing the people that are
- 15:42Speaker 1: within that particular place. Because to him that has, more
- 15:46Speaker 1: shall be given. But to him that goes around and says,
- 15:49Speaker 1: I have not, even that which he has shall be
- 15:51Speaker 1: taken away from him. It is interesting. In statistics of
- 15:55Speaker 1: church today, 82% of people that are moving into megachurches
- 16:01Speaker 1: are coming from small churches. Only 2% are coming directly
- 16:06Speaker 1: from the world. In other words, small churches are now
- 16:08Speaker 1: becoming feeder programs for megachurches. But it's the small churches
- 16:13Speaker 1: that are even reaching people and getting them saved. And
- 16:16Speaker 1: then after some time, and the reason is because a
- 16:19Speaker 1: lot of the pastors hold their small churches in and
- 16:22Speaker 1: look at themselves as being inferior to a person with
- 16:26Speaker 1: a megachurch, look at themselves then as though what is
- 16:29Speaker 1: this among so many, preach to them with a sense
- 16:32Speaker 1: of dissatisfaction, preach to them there with a sense of inferiority,
- 16:37Speaker 1: and people pick that up in the spirit, and then
- 16:40Speaker 1: they move away and say we're going to a place,
- 16:43Speaker 1: all right, that is where we should actually go to.
- 16:46Speaker 1: So it's important that we understand this. If we're going
- 16:48Speaker 1: to have true and genuine growth there, that everybody begins
- 16:53Speaker 1: to recognize that the miracle is inside my heart. That
- 16:59Speaker 1: the thing that God is going to use to get
- 17:02Speaker 1: me to the next level is available unto me. I
- 17:07Speaker 1: just have to see this correctly. I have to open
- 17:13Speaker 1: my eyes there and in prayer I will see this
- 17:16Speaker 1: and see what is around me and see them correctly.
- 17:20Speaker 1: These are not empty pots. This is not just water
- 17:25Speaker 1: I use to wash my hands. That I see in
- 17:28Speaker 1: the realm of the Spirit how we can extract value
- 17:32Speaker 1: out of these things. There's a story I tell often.
- 17:37Speaker 1: It's a powerful story and I'll tell it again. In
- 17:40Speaker 1: Genesis chapter 21 and verse 11. Genesis 21 and verse 11.
- 17:46Speaker 1: We have the story here, and I want us to
- 17:48Speaker 1: understand it. Because we have been blessed already with every
- 17:52Speaker 1: spiritual blessing in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. God has
- 17:59Speaker 1: done his part, and he has given to us. And
- 18:02Speaker 1: in Genesis chapter 21 and verse 11, we see Abraham here.
- 18:08Speaker 1: He had an issue within his family. And we'll talk
- 18:12Speaker 1: about this. Abraham had problems. had tried to help God.
- 18:19Speaker 1: And so what happened was Ishmael came forth. And so
- 18:24Speaker 1: when it was time for Isaac, and Isaac now came,
- 18:28Speaker 1: there was a conflict between Isaac and Ishmael. But as
- 18:34Speaker 1: far as Abraham was concerned emotionally now, Ishmael was his
- 18:40Speaker 1: first son. Ishmael may have looked just like Abraham. Ishmael
- 18:46Speaker 1: had grown up in the house for, say, 13 years
- 18:50Speaker 1: just with Abraham. They had developed a bond. And then
- 18:55Speaker 1: one day, Sarah said, Ishmael has got to go. And
- 19:00Speaker 1: God spoke to Abraham and said, Sarah is correct. Ishmael
- 19:05Speaker 1: has got to go. Now, so what happened in Genesis,
- 19:09Speaker 1: or the scripture there, 21-11? was that the thing was
- 19:14Speaker 1: very grievous. It really hurt Abraham. Very grievous in Abraham's
- 19:21Speaker 1: sight because of his son. And then the next verse
- 19:25Speaker 1: tells us, And God said to Abraham, Let it not
- 19:29Speaker 1: be grievous in thy sight. Which means it hurt Abraham
- 19:34Speaker 1: to make this decision. Because of the lad and because
- 19:39Speaker 1: of the bondwoman, And in the next phase, I'll talk
- 19:43Speaker 1: about how we shouldn't give birth to Ishmael. Because if
- 19:47Speaker 1: you give birth to an Ishmael, you... can almost create
- 19:54Speaker 1: a civil war within your church or within your organization
- 19:59Speaker 1: or within your family there. And it becomes more difficult
- 20:04Speaker 1: to do what God wants you to do. But God
- 20:07Speaker 1: said unto him, let it not be grievous in thy sight,
- 20:09Speaker 1: because of the lad and because of the bondwoman. In
- 20:12Speaker 1: all that Sarah has said unto thee, hearken to her voice,
- 20:15Speaker 1: for in Isaac shall the seed be called. And in
- 20:19Speaker 1: the next verse, he now tells us, and also the
- 20:22Speaker 1: son of the bondwoman, that's Ishmael, I will make a
- 20:25Speaker 1: nation because he is thy seed. So Abraham was going
- 20:29Speaker 1: to make a decision now to let Ishmael go. The
- 20:34Speaker 1: scripture has described Abraham in four chapters before this, that
- 20:39Speaker 1: Abraham was.
- 20:40Speaker 2: Very rich in silver and in gold.
- 20:45Speaker 1: And in cattle. Very.
- 20:46Speaker 2: He didn't say rich.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Very rich in silver, gold, and cattle. Should you not
- 20:54Speaker 1: think that if Abraham is going to send his first
- 20:57Speaker 1: son out of the house, And you should have some
- 21:00Speaker 1: sense of guilt. It's not the fault of the boy.
- 21:03Speaker 1: You are the one who gave birth to this boy.
- 21:06Speaker 1: He is your first son. And back then when they
- 21:10Speaker 1: send you out. So you can see this Abraham was
- 21:12Speaker 1: very rich in cattle. In silver and in gold. If
- 21:16Speaker 1: they send you out. You are not coming back again.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Which means when they say we send you. You are gone.
- 21:23Speaker 1: And Ishmael wasn't going to come back. The next time
- 21:27Speaker 1: Ishmael came back. into the area where Abraham was, was
- 21:31Speaker 1: for the funeral of Abraham. So he was going. Don't
- 21:35Speaker 1: you think that the father, you are sending out your
- 21:39Speaker 1: first son. You have silver, gold, and cattle in abundance.
- 21:45Speaker 1: Won't you take some silver, some gold, and some cattle
- 21:50Speaker 1: and give it to the boy and say, you can
- 21:52Speaker 1: go with this. This should be enough for you. You know,
- 21:57Speaker 1: so you have something, and this is your inheritance from
- 22:00Speaker 1: my house. You have something to start life with. And
- 22:04Speaker 1: at least Abraham would have been pacified by that, that
- 22:07Speaker 1: I've done something good. And Ishmael would also have left,
- 22:11Speaker 1: at least he would be glad in his heart, that
- 22:13Speaker 1: my father has left me with some inheritance, you know,
- 22:16Speaker 1: I can go with this. But look at what Abraham
- 22:20Speaker 1: did in the next verse. Very significant. In Genesis 21. Alright,
- 22:26Speaker 1: let's go to verse 14. Genesis 21 verse 14. And
- 22:31Speaker 1: Abraham rose up early in the morning.
- 22:35Speaker 2: And he took bread. One loaf of bread. This is
- 22:38Speaker 2: a man that is very rich in silver.
- 22:40Speaker 1: Gold and cattle. He took one loaf of bread. And
- 22:45Speaker 1: a bottle of water. And Ishmael was leaving his house
- 22:51Speaker 1: looking at silver, gold, and at cattle. And you are
- 22:55Speaker 1: sending me out and all you give me is a
- 22:57Speaker 1: loaf of bread. And all you give me is a
- 23:00Speaker 1: bottle of water. And we are going into the wilderness,
- 23:04Speaker 1: into the desert. And he gave him that to Hagar,
- 23:08Speaker 1: putting it on her shoulder.
- 23:10Speaker 2: And the child, and he sent her away.
- 23:12Speaker 1: And she departed and wandered in the wilderness of Bathsheba.
- 23:18Speaker 1: And then the next verse, after some time, the water
- 23:21Speaker 1: was spent in the bottle. And what did Hagar do?
- 23:24Speaker 1: She took her child, Ishmael, and cast the child under
- 23:29Speaker 1: one of the shrubs. For she went and sat over
- 23:33Speaker 1: against him, a good way off as it were a
- 23:36Speaker 1: bow shot. For she said, let me not see the
- 23:39Speaker 1: death of my child. And she sat over against him,
- 23:44Speaker 1: lifted up her voice and wept.
- 23:47Speaker 2: So Hagar began crying. She wasn't praying. And I will
- 23:49Speaker 2: show you this.
- 23:50Speaker 1: She was crying that this boy is going to die.
- 23:53Speaker 1: This boy is going to die. And she put him
- 23:56Speaker 1: far away from her because as a mother, she couldn't
- 23:59Speaker 1: look at the son deteriorate his skin and his flesh
- 24:03Speaker 1: getting eaten up under the sun and die. She could
- 24:07Speaker 1: not do it. So she put him away and started
- 24:10Speaker 1: wailing and crying. But I believe that Ishmael understood something.
- 24:17Speaker 1: And I believe that a week before, so when God
- 24:20Speaker 1: gave Abraham that instruction to let go of Ishmael, that
- 24:24Speaker 1: Abraham called Ishmael and taught him the covenant. He said,
- 24:28Speaker 1: sit down. This is how great nations come out of people.
- 24:33Speaker 1: This is how people become great. Alright, what happens is,
- 24:38Speaker 1: I will say this. They may start off with little.
- 24:42Speaker 1: But there is one quality that they have. And he
- 24:45Speaker 1: taught him and told him. That once this bottle of
- 24:48Speaker 1: water finishes. And this loaf of bread finishes. The covenant
- 24:54Speaker 1: is going to kick in. And Ishmael, what you should
- 24:58Speaker 1: do is to pray this unto God. This is your
- 25:02Speaker 1: prayer point. Pray this single prayer unto God and my
- 25:07Speaker 1: God will show up because this is how it always happens.
- 25:11Speaker 1: And so she went there and wept. The next verse,
- 25:14Speaker 1: verse 17. The Bible tells us, God heard the voice
- 25:18Speaker 1: of who? The lad. He didn't hear the voice of Hagar.
- 25:22Speaker 1: Hagar wasn't praying. The lad, Ishmael, was the one that prayed.
- 25:26Speaker 1: God heard the voice of the lad and the angel
- 25:28Speaker 1: called to Hagar and said out of heaven unto her,
- 25:32Speaker 1: what in let thee? In other words, what's troubling you?
- 25:35Speaker 1: What's the matter?
- 25:36Speaker 2: Why are you troubled?
- 25:37Speaker 1: Because as far as they were concerned, there's no trouble here.
- 25:40Speaker 1: What in let thee? Fear not. God has heard the
- 25:45Speaker 1: voice of the lad where he is. In other words,
- 25:50Speaker 1: where you drop that boy, he has prayed unto God
- 25:53Speaker 1: the prayer you should pray during this time. When you
- 25:57Speaker 1: come to a point where you have come to an
- 25:58Speaker 1: end in yourself, he has prayed it and God has
- 26:01Speaker 1: heard him. Therefore, the next verse, he said to her, arise,
- 26:06Speaker 1: lift up the lad and hold him in thy hand,
- 26:08Speaker 1: for I will.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Make him a great nation.
- 26:10Speaker 1: In other words, there's a nation in what you threw
- 26:12Speaker 1: away and said this is for death and all of that.
- 26:15Speaker 1: There is a great nation on the inside of it.
- 26:20Speaker 2: Listen, I hope you are hearing me.
- 26:21Speaker 1: In the spirit. What will make this continent great is
- 26:25Speaker 1: inside this continent. Are you following what I'm saying here?
- 26:28Speaker 1: What we need are eyes that see, eyes that see,
- 26:32Speaker 1: eyes that see.
- 26:33Speaker 2: Look at what it says. Arise, I will make him
- 26:34Speaker 2: a great nation. Look at the next verse.
- 26:36Speaker 1: The Bible says, and God opened her eyes and she
- 26:40Speaker 1: saw a well of water. The well was always there,
- 26:44Speaker 1: but her eyes were closed. If you are in any
- 26:49Speaker 1: situation and you say, God, where is the provision? I
- 26:51Speaker 1: am telling you, it is there. And what he prayed
- 26:56Speaker 1: was that open my eyes. Open our eyes that we
- 26:59Speaker 1: may see. And she went and filled the bottle. Which
- 27:02Speaker 1: means this is no longer just a bottle of water.
- 27:05Speaker 1: This is a continuous supply. They opened them up to
- 27:09Speaker 1: a perpetual supply. That they could use for farming. They
- 27:13Speaker 1: could use there for different things. Not just drinking. That
- 27:16Speaker 1: bottle of water was only to drink. Now they had
- 27:18Speaker 1: gotten a well there. From the well several things. But
- 27:21Speaker 1: the well was always there. They just did not see it.
- 27:27Speaker 1: That's why David prayed in Psalm 13. This was his prayer.
- 27:31Speaker 1: Covenant people understand this prayer. He says, Psalm 13, verse 1. David,
- 27:37Speaker 1: Psalm 13. How long will thou forget me, O Lord? Forever.
- 27:41Speaker 1: How long will thou hide thy face from me? Verse 2.
- 27:44Speaker 1: He says, how long shall I take counsel in my soul,
- 27:47Speaker 1: having sorrow in my heart daily? How long shall my
- 27:50Speaker 1: enemy be exalted over me? What was the prayer he prayed?
- 27:53Speaker 1: Consider and hear me, O Lord. Lighten my eyes, lest
- 27:57Speaker 1: I sleep the sleep of death. In other words, open
- 28:00Speaker 1: my eyes. And if you open my eyes, this death
- 28:02Speaker 1: cannot have control over me again. That was his prayer.
- 28:07Speaker 1: And that's the prayer here. And that's why he says,
- 28:09Speaker 1: I serve him. The ornaments there that will cause you
- 28:13Speaker 1: to see. That you understand that, listen, I'm not going
- 28:17Speaker 1: on the outside. I'm not trying to meet this person
- 28:20Speaker 1: or meet that. I want to recognize to him that has,
- 28:25Speaker 1: it shall be given. To him that has not, even
- 28:28Speaker 1: that which he has will be taken. Which means the
- 28:30Speaker 1: person who says I have not, actually has. He just
- 28:34Speaker 1: doesn't see or she doesn't see it and recognize that.
- 28:37Speaker 2: So when they go into relationships.
- 28:39Speaker 1: There, they lose what they have because they.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Don't see what they have. on the inside of themselves.
- 28:47Speaker 1: So it's important that we understand the power of this
- 28:51Speaker 1: eyesalve here, which is eyes that see, which is we
- 28:56Speaker 1: stop looking down on things. I was telling Reverend Julian,
- 29:02Speaker 1: I think we were in Nairobi together last week, and
- 29:05Speaker 1: I told him, you know, I will invite people from here,
- 29:08Speaker 1: invite people from here, you know, for our meeting today.
- 29:11Speaker 1: And one day God stopped me and said, look, what
- 29:13Speaker 1: you are. In fact, somebody told me something. And then
- 29:15Speaker 1: after that, it rejigged my consciousness. And God said, all
- 29:18Speaker 1: those things you are looking for everywhere is in Africa.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Enter into Africa. The treasures are embedded there. There's enough
- 29:25Speaker 1: resources in the continent. Go into the continent there. So
- 29:32Speaker 1: the second principle here about this scene.
- 29:37Speaker 2: So never talk in the way that you don't have.
- 29:40Speaker 1: Don't say that, you know, because I was born on
- 29:43Speaker 1: the wrong side. Everybody was born on the wrong side.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Jesus himself was born on the wrong side. Are you
- 29:54Speaker 1: following what I'm saying? By natural birth, he was born
- 29:57Speaker 1: on the wrong side. He was born outside wedlock. You
- 29:59Speaker 1: can be complaining about things. All those things you can
- 30:02Speaker 1: find in people, but they didn't make noise about those things.
- 30:05Speaker 1: They understood and said, God, there's something inside this.
- 30:16Speaker 2: So the second thing I want us to see about.
- 30:18Speaker 1: This, I solve here.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Because not only does it give you.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Insight into things, it also gives you clarity on issues.
- 30:35Speaker 1: And the second thing is there must be clarity, insight,
- 30:41Speaker 1: and then clarity there. In John chapter 9 and verse 6, Jesus,
- 30:51Speaker 1: when he had spoken, he spat on the ground, made
- 30:54Speaker 1: clay of the spittle, and anointed the eyes of the
- 30:59Speaker 1: blind man with clay. Now in another rendition of this,
- 31:08Speaker 1: I think it's in Luke or Mark, it's told the man,
- 31:12Speaker 1: open your eyes and look, he anointed him with clay.
- 31:17Speaker 1: And the man said, I see men as trees that
- 31:20Speaker 1: I see men as trees. And Jesus now told him
- 31:24Speaker 1: that second thing there in verse 7. He said, go
- 31:28Speaker 1: and wash in the pool that is called, John 9, 7, please,
- 31:33Speaker 1: pool that is called Siloam, which means saint.
- 31:38Speaker 2: John 9, 7, please.
- 31:39Speaker 1: All right, said to him, go wash in the pool
- 31:42Speaker 1: of Siloam, which by interpretation, it means saint. And when
- 31:46Speaker 1: he went and washed there, He said, he came back
- 31:50Speaker 1: seeing clearly. Now, the second thing about this is that
- 31:55Speaker 1: you're needed in order to have this eye of your
- 31:59Speaker 1: eyes to see, you're needed to pray. You see, it's
- 32:05Speaker 1: more than being gifted. It's more than being anointed. You
- 32:13Speaker 1: have got to be saved. And therefore you have to
- 32:18Speaker 1: wash your eyes in the pool called saint. A person
- 32:24Speaker 1: can be called of God. A person can be gifted
- 32:30Speaker 1: and anointed by God. But that person has not yet
- 32:36Speaker 1: been sent by God. And a lot of problems that
- 32:42Speaker 1: we have today is that there are many people... that
- 32:45Speaker 1: are called, and they are gifted, and they are responding
- 32:51Speaker 1: to the calling and to the gifting, without washing their
- 32:57Speaker 1: eyes in that pool called Siloam, that they may be sent.
- 33:04Speaker 1: I will confess to you, when we started the church,
- 33:09Speaker 1: looking back now with hindsight, I was called an anointed. Anointed.
- 33:15Speaker 2: But I was not yet sent by God.
- 33:19Speaker 1: But the circumstances under which I was, I knew that, look,
- 33:23Speaker 1: I had no choice. Something had to start. But I
- 33:26Speaker 1: was not yet sent. And once you get to that
- 33:30Speaker 1: place of being sent, resources begin to come in. Jesus said,
- 33:37Speaker 1: when I sent you, did you lack anything? Once you
- 33:44Speaker 1: get into that place of being sent, there is a
- 33:47Speaker 1: grace that comes into your life. Paul said, when they
- 33:52Speaker 1: saw the grace that was given unto me, the same
- 33:56Speaker 1: he says that I shall preach this among the Gentiles.
- 34:00Speaker 1: You can see he was sent. When you are sent,
- 34:02Speaker 1: there's clarity. You know who you are supposed to speak to.
- 34:05Speaker 1: You know where you are supposed to go. There's clarity
- 34:07Speaker 1: on it. Being sent, there is clarity. When you're anointed,
- 34:12Speaker 1: you'll see men as trees there, all right? Everything will
- 34:15Speaker 1: be hazy. You won't know, you know, any opportunity that
- 34:19Speaker 1: comes your way, you'll go with it.
- 34:21Speaker 2: You know, you'll be seeing men as trees.
- 34:23Speaker 1: People will know you're anointed, but the real impact is
- 34:27Speaker 1: not there because you have not yet been sent. And
- 34:31Speaker 1: I'm sure what to do here so that a person
- 34:33Speaker 1: gets sent by God. And so when you are sent there,
- 34:39Speaker 1: Paul said, the one that was mighty in me towards
- 34:41Speaker 1: the Gentiles. You can see he knew where his calling was.
- 34:44Speaker 1: He said the same was mighty in Peter towards the circumcision.
- 34:49Speaker 1: In other words, if Peter crossed and came to the,
- 34:53Speaker 1: all right? he crossed and came to the Gentiles, that
- 34:58Speaker 1: grace will have been withdrawn and the might of God
- 35:00Speaker 1: will not have been seen. If Paul moved to go
- 35:03Speaker 1: and preach to the Jews, that grace will not have
- 35:05Speaker 1: been seen.
- 35:06Speaker 2: And you will see it in the book of Acts.
- 35:08Speaker 1: You will see in Galatians that when Peter crossed, and
- 35:11Speaker 1: came to the Gentile territory. You could see he became
- 35:14Speaker 1: almost like an ordinary man, that Paul had to rebuke him.
- 35:16Speaker 1: You would also see that when Paul also tried to
- 35:19Speaker 1: go to Jerusalem to go and win people, in fact,
- 35:23Speaker 1: he almost lost his entire ministry and all of that.
- 35:26Speaker 2: They had to carry him, you know.
- 35:27Speaker 1: Like a mere man and all of that because they
- 35:30Speaker 1: went outside the areas of their grace. So what happens
- 35:35Speaker 1: is we've got to understand that there's the calling. And
- 35:38Speaker 1: then there's being sent. Let's use Moses as an example.
- 35:42Speaker 1: So if you believe, and I'm not just talking about
- 35:45Speaker 1: ministry here, you can be an entrepreneur and you're working
- 35:48Speaker 1: in a place. And God has put it in your
- 35:52Speaker 1: heart that one day you are going to start a
- 35:55Speaker 1: business that is going to go global.
- 35:58Speaker 2: You have to be sent.
- 35:59Speaker 1: So you don't give birth to an Ishmael that when
- 36:03Speaker 1: the time comes and you are now sent and you
- 36:06Speaker 1: go with the Isaac, the Ishmael is fighting against the
- 36:09Speaker 1: Isaac and you have a conflict on your hands here
- 36:13Speaker 1: because you stepped out prematurely and created something out there
- 36:18Speaker 1: that is now militating and working against you, all right,
- 36:22Speaker 1: when you now get sent. But there's something you do
- 36:25Speaker 1: while you are there working in the office. You know
- 36:29Speaker 1: that God has called me to do that. And you're
- 36:31Speaker 1: walking there. And you're going to see this. You'll find
- 36:34Speaker 1: out that, if we have time to get into it,
- 36:37Speaker 1: the ideas that you are going to use, the ideas
- 36:40Speaker 1: you are going to use there, you probably will come
- 36:43Speaker 1: into contact with. With those ideas, where you are working,
- 36:47Speaker 1: you will see it. You will see the opportunity in
- 36:49Speaker 1: that particular place as a reward for your faithfulness and
- 36:53Speaker 1: your devotion to that particular thing.
- 36:56Speaker 2: Even when you knew on the.
- 36:58Speaker 1: Inside of yourself that God has called me to start
- 37:01Speaker 1: my own business. Because the Bible says, a man who
- 37:04Speaker 1: is not faithful in the things of another man, who
- 37:07Speaker 1: shall give him his own? And if a man is
- 37:09Speaker 1: not faithful with the unrighteous mammon, he says, who will
- 37:12Speaker 1: give him the true riches? So you are faithful, you
- 37:14Speaker 1: are doing. But there's something that you are doing that
- 37:17Speaker 1: Moses failed to do that cost Moses, all right, big time.
- 37:22Speaker 1: And we see in Acts chapter 7 and verse 23.
- 37:24Speaker 1: Now you're going to the pool that is called sent,
- 37:28Speaker 1: where you're going.
- 37:29Speaker 2: To get clarity now.
- 37:30Speaker 1: Where a person knows in very clear terms, this is
- 37:33Speaker 1: what I'm supposed to do.
- 37:35Speaker 2: And please let me advise you.
- 37:38Speaker 1: The Bible says you shall go out with joy and
- 37:41Speaker 1: you shall be led forth in peace. Don't ever live
- 37:45Speaker 1: anywhere because, you know, you are just offended at people
- 37:49Speaker 1: and you are angry. The Bible says many shall be offended.
- 37:54Speaker 1: The next verse, it tells us, and false prophets shall arise.
- 37:58Speaker 1: A prophet is not just, a prophet is a seer
- 38:01Speaker 1: in the scriptures. He's not a speaker. He's a seer.
- 38:04Speaker 1: That's why when he came, he said, he said, I
- 38:06Speaker 1: have not sent them. He says, for they have seen nothing.
- 38:10Speaker 1: They have seen nothing. A prophet testifies of what they
- 38:15Speaker 1: have seen. The real key to the prophetic ministry is
- 38:18Speaker 1: not the speaking, but they have the ability to see.
- 38:22Speaker 1: And so when he says false prophets will arise there,
- 38:24Speaker 1: what he's saying is that people with wrong visions will arise.
- 38:28Speaker 1: When you get offended, you see what you are not
- 38:30Speaker 1: supposed to see, all right? And then you start running
- 38:33Speaker 1: with something you're not supposed to run with. Let me
- 38:35Speaker 1: give an example. There was a gentleman in church when
- 38:38Speaker 1: we started church there. And what happened to him was
- 38:41Speaker 1: working in a corporation, a big corporation. And there was
- 38:44Speaker 1: a promotion exercise. They didn't give him the second one.
- 38:46Speaker 1: They didn't give him.
- 38:48Speaker 2: And he got offended and resigned.
- 38:50Speaker 1: But he just happened to come in for a midweek service.
- 38:55Speaker 1: And I was teaching on offense. as the bait of Satan.
- 38:59Speaker 1: And I said, you go out with joy and you
- 39:01Speaker 1: are led forth in peace. Always go out with joy
- 39:03Speaker 1: and be led forth in peace. Don't go out of
- 39:05Speaker 1: a place with offense in your heart. And he scratched
- 39:09Speaker 1: his head. He said, and as far as he was concerned,
- 39:11Speaker 1: he was going to start a nail making factory in Lagos,
- 39:16Speaker 1: which means they'll be making nails. And he said, he
- 39:19Speaker 1: was working for one of the top consulting firms in Nigeria.
- 39:21Speaker 1: From his working in that consulting firm, he had seen
- 39:24Speaker 1: There was a deficiency. All right, back then, this was
- 39:26Speaker 1: in the 90s, he nailed there in the country. He
- 39:29Speaker 1: was going to do that. And he had put in
- 39:31Speaker 1: his letter of resignation. He had the message. He said
- 39:34Speaker 1: he went back and told his boss, I'm sorry, could
- 39:36Speaker 1: you give me back my letter of resignation? You know,
- 39:39Speaker 1: I want to stay in here. And he said he
- 39:41Speaker 1: stayed there. Now, he didn't tell me this until about
- 39:43Speaker 1: a year and a half after. And then he told
- 39:46Speaker 1: me a year and a half after, he said, you
- 39:47Speaker 1: know what?
- 39:47Speaker 2: I heard that message.
- 39:49Speaker 1: And I went back. I sat down. He said, there
- 39:51Speaker 1: was a next promotional exercise. I got it. There was
- 39:53Speaker 1: another promotional exercise. I got it. He said, and I
- 39:56Speaker 1: was happy and I was good and I was in
- 39:59Speaker 1: a place of joy. And then he said, and then
- 40:02Speaker 1: God said, you can go now. And he said, I
- 40:05Speaker 1: had nothing. I just, I didn't even have an office.
- 40:08Speaker 1: I am talking about the top consulting firm, not just
- 40:12Speaker 1: in Nigeria, globally at that particular point in time. He said,
- 40:16Speaker 1: I had nothing. My office was going to be in
- 40:19Speaker 1: a dining table. He said, my wife was pregnant with
- 40:22Speaker 1: our first child. My father-in-law came and said, you are taking,
- 40:25Speaker 1: making a risk here. How can you go out like this?
- 40:27Speaker 1: You and your wife and all.
- 40:28Speaker 2: He said, he just knows this is the time to go.
- 40:31Speaker 1: So he, you know, left the place on Friday and
- 40:35Speaker 1: was going to start on his dining table, his business, to,
- 40:38Speaker 1: he still held onto it, a nail manufacturing company. On Sunday,
- 40:43Speaker 1: he got a phone call on Monday morning from his boss.
- 40:46Speaker 1: And his boss said, well, there is an oil company
- 40:50Speaker 1: that has just come in, oil servicing company, and they
- 40:53Speaker 1: want us to do their taxation for them. However, when
- 40:56Speaker 1: we charge them and give them the invoice, they said,
- 40:58Speaker 1: this is too expensive for us. And so they said,
- 41:01Speaker 1: we'll go and look for somebody else. Then I said,
- 41:02Speaker 1: wait a minute, hold it. The guy who will have
- 41:04Speaker 1: led the team to come and do and help you
- 41:07Speaker 1: work on your tax has just resigned from here, but
- 41:09Speaker 1: he has the mind, he knows the quality of work.
- 41:12Speaker 1: If I call him, can he, and he won't charge
- 41:14Speaker 1: the way we charge. Will you allow me? He said,
- 41:16Speaker 1: oh yeah, call him, call him, call him, call him.
- 41:18Speaker 1: All right, this was in 1996 or so. And he
- 41:23Speaker 1: went to do that job. I think they paid him
- 41:26Speaker 1: then $ 26, 000. That nail factory has not started till now.
- 41:31Speaker 1: It is that thing that he has been doing. You see,
- 41:34Speaker 1: when you are offended, you don't see correctly in the
- 41:36Speaker 1: spirit realm. And so it is important, all right? That
- 41:40Speaker 1: you take offense. That's what he's still doing. He built
- 41:43Speaker 1: an entire ward for a general hospital in Lagos from
- 41:47Speaker 1: that business. But you see, it was something. It was there.
- 41:52Speaker 1: But Satan wanted to push him out of that particular
- 41:55Speaker 1: place there with offense in his heart. So what happened
- 41:58Speaker 1: here in Acts chapter 7 verse 23? Let's look at Moses.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Acts 7 verse 23. Let's look at the life of
- 42:03Speaker 1: Moses quickly. All right, Acts 7 verse 23. And when
- 42:13Speaker 1: he was full of 40 years old, it came into
- 42:15Speaker 1: his heart. This is when Moses was called. It entered
- 42:19Speaker 1: into his heart. To visit his brethren, the children of Israel.
- 42:25Speaker 1: And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him
- 42:28Speaker 1: and avenged him that oppressed and smote the Egyptians. For
- 42:35Speaker 1: he supposed that his brethren would have understood how God
- 42:39Speaker 1: by his own hand, that's by his hand, Moses, will
- 42:43Speaker 1: deliver them, but they understood not. And the next day
- 42:48Speaker 1: he showed himself unto them. He was responding to a calling.
- 42:51Speaker 1: The calling was correct. He showed them as they strove
- 42:55Speaker 1: that he will have set them at one again, saying, Sarge,
- 42:58Speaker 1: your brethren, why do you do wrong one to another?
- 43:02Speaker 1: And he that did his neighbor wrong thrust him away, saying,
- 43:05Speaker 1: who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?
- 43:08Speaker 1: Who made you a ruler and a judge? Will thou
- 43:11Speaker 1: kill me as thou did to the Egyptian yesterday? Then
- 43:15Speaker 1: fled Moses at this same, and was a stranger in
- 43:18Speaker 1: the land of Midian, where he begat two sons. And
- 43:21Speaker 1: when forty years was expired... There appeared unto him in
- 43:27Speaker 1: the wilderness, in the mount of Sinai, an angel of
- 43:31Speaker 1: the Lord in the flame of fire in a bush.
- 43:34Speaker 1: And when Moses saw it, he saw it this year
- 43:35Speaker 1: as they said, the voice of God. Verse 32. It
- 43:38Speaker 1: tells us that I am God of thy fathers and
- 43:41Speaker 1: God of Isaac, God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled and
- 43:43Speaker 1: thus behold. And verse 33. Then he said to him,
- 43:46Speaker 1: put off your shoes, this is your holy ground. And
- 43:49Speaker 1: next verse. I have seen, I have seen the affliction
- 43:53Speaker 1: of my people which is in Egypt. I have heard
- 43:56Speaker 1: their groanings, and I, hear what God said, I am
- 44:01Speaker 1: come down. God himself said, I have come down to
- 44:06Speaker 1: deliver them. Now come, and I will send thee. He
- 44:12Speaker 1: got that calling, and I believe, well, you can't, it's
- 44:16Speaker 1: what I believe, like Reverend Julian says, an opinion, but
- 44:19Speaker 1: I'm strong, I'm correct on this opinion.
- 44:22Speaker 2: Because, When you see that God.
- 44:25Speaker 1: Told Abraham 400 years, they will come out.
- 44:29Speaker 2: They came out on the 430th year.
- 44:33Speaker 1: Why did it extend to 30 years after what God
- 44:37Speaker 1: had said? What had happened was that on the 390th year,
- 44:42Speaker 1: it entered into the heart of Moses. Moses should have
- 44:45Speaker 1: spent that time praying to God about the calling, not
- 44:50Speaker 1: stepping out into it. He should have taken the calling
- 44:54Speaker 1: and that's what some of you should be doing. Praying
- 44:56Speaker 1: to God and praying about what you feel on the inside.
- 45:01Speaker 1: Being faithful where you are but praying and praying and praying.
- 45:06Speaker 1: Even if you read the Bible and you have insight
- 45:08Speaker 1: from the scripture, it doesn't mean you should go and
- 45:10Speaker 1: start something. It means take this insight and go and pray.
- 45:14Speaker 1: Daniel understood by books, all right, what was written in
- 45:17Speaker 1: the book of Jeremiah. He turned his face to prayer.
- 45:21Speaker 1: Jesus knew he was called. The first thing they did
- 45:24Speaker 1: was that he went on 40 days of prayer there.
- 45:26Speaker 1: You'll turn yourself to prayer and not to act on
- 45:29Speaker 1: that call. Because if you act, you are going to commit.
- 45:32Speaker 1: That's what happened to Moses. The same thing Abraham did.
- 45:36Speaker 1: He went in and caused problem. All right? They go
- 45:39Speaker 1: in and cause problem. And I believe it had to
- 45:41Speaker 1: extend another 30 years until the children of Israel began
- 45:44Speaker 1: to cry unto God. And God said the condition for
- 45:47Speaker 1: somebody to be sent is now here.
- 45:50Speaker 2: And God said, I have come down.
- 45:53Speaker 1: So there's a difference between you going to do something
- 45:57Speaker 1: and God coming down and saying, I've heard the prayer.
- 46:00Speaker 1: I am now sending you. And when he sent him,
- 46:04Speaker 1: there was clarity. He said, go to Pharaoh. He gave
- 46:07Speaker 1: him the message.
- 46:08Speaker 2: Tell Pharaoh.
- 46:10Speaker 1: Let my people go that they might serve me it
- 46:13Speaker 1: was clear when you are sent there is clarity these
- 46:16Speaker 1: are the people you are sent to this is the
- 46:19Speaker 1: message you are sent to do this is the product
- 46:21Speaker 1: you are sent to these are the homogeneous group or
- 46:24Speaker 1: the groups of people you are sent to with this
- 46:26Speaker 1: particular thing there is clarity there you have washed in
- 46:30Speaker 1: the pool called asylum And so it became clear. And
- 46:33Speaker 1: he says, go to Pharaoh and tell him, Thorsia the Lord,
- 46:36Speaker 1: let my people go that they might serve me.
- 46:39Speaker 2: He gave him the message.
- 46:40Speaker 1: He told him who to send the message to in
- 46:43Speaker 1: order for the deliverance to be wrought. Signs, wonders began
- 46:47Speaker 1: to happen with the rod that was in the hands
- 46:49Speaker 1: of Moses. Moses was correct 40 years before that, but
- 46:53Speaker 1: he didn't process it properly. He was anointed by God
- 46:57Speaker 1: for it. but didn't process it properly. The time where
- 47:00Speaker 1: you're anointed is not the time where you are sent.
- 47:04Speaker 1: David was anointed as king in his bedroom. He had
- 47:07Speaker 1: to go through, in his father's living room, he had
- 47:09Speaker 1: to go through a process for him to arrive.
- 47:12Speaker 2: At the point where he became king.
- 47:14Speaker 1: There was a time where a person is anointed and
- 47:18Speaker 1: there's a time where a person is sent. And one
- 47:20Speaker 1: of the reasons why we're having a lot of failures
- 47:23Speaker 1: is that many called people are stepping out, many anointed
- 47:27Speaker 1: people are stepping out, many gifted.
- 47:29Speaker 2: People are stepping out, many people are.
- 47:31Speaker 1: Working that haven't developed within the corporate sector, all right,
- 47:35Speaker 1: the skill sets to be able to manage real businesses
- 47:38Speaker 1: and all of that. This is why I'm saying this.
- 47:41Speaker 1: To a very great degree, women are getting more economically
- 47:44Speaker 1: powerful than men, particularly today in this country. The reason
- 47:47Speaker 1: is that the man says, I want to be an entrepreneur.
- 47:49Speaker 1: He resigns from the job. He doesn't yet have capacity.
- 47:52Speaker 1: He has not yet been sent. The woman stays there
- 47:55Speaker 1: on the job. They are becoming managing directors of banks.
- 47:57Speaker 1: They are entering into powerful things. But the men prematurely
- 48:00Speaker 1: get out. And because they are not saints, they don't
- 48:03Speaker 1: see anything clearly. They are anointed. You talk to them.
- 48:06Speaker 1: They have ideas. They have all of this, but they
- 48:08Speaker 1: are not saints. They can give you a hundred ideas,
- 48:11Speaker 1: but none of those ideas are working. When you are saints,
- 48:17Speaker 1: you have washed at the pool called Siloam, you know clearly.
- 48:21Speaker 2: And what happens?
- 48:22Speaker 1: The resources begin to come. He says, when I send it,
- 48:25Speaker 1: did you lack anything? Which means if you go into
- 48:26Speaker 1: a house, you will find somebody who will invest in
- 48:29Speaker 1: that thing and give you peace. He says, you might
- 48:32Speaker 1: go into some places and, you know, they won't give
- 48:35Speaker 1: you the peace. They won't take you in. And all
- 48:37Speaker 1: of that.
- 48:37Speaker 2: He says, don't bother yourself. Don't force yourself on anybody.
- 48:40Speaker 1: When I send you, I have prepared people that will
- 48:44Speaker 1: receive you, give you peace, will help you to finance
- 48:48Speaker 1: what you are doing without requiring that they take your
- 48:51Speaker 1: soul in exchange for it. So he may be called
- 48:56Speaker 1: and anointed or gifted, but it's not yet time. And
- 49:02Speaker 1: so you have to spend time with God in prayer there.
- 49:07Speaker 1: Jesus spoke about this when he started his ministry. He said,
- 49:11Speaker 1: before you say physician, heal yourself. He said, answer this
- 49:15Speaker 1: question first. He said, was.
- 49:18Speaker 2: Elijah, were there not many widows.
- 49:22Speaker 1: In the whole of Israel? And God is compassionate towards widows.
- 49:25Speaker 1: So he went there. He said, there were many widows
- 49:27Speaker 1: in Israel. But only to the widow at Zarephath was
- 49:31Speaker 1: Elijah sent. In other words, Elijah can be anointed, but
- 49:36Speaker 1: the anointing will only work where he is sent. And
- 49:42Speaker 1: when he got there, he was sent to that place.
- 49:47Speaker 1: So if you are anointed and not sent, you may
- 49:50Speaker 1: share the word of God.
- 49:52Speaker 2: And people will say, man, you are powerful, you are anointed.
- 49:57Speaker 1: But you know, because you are not sent, you may
- 50:00Speaker 1: not answer the questions that are in their hearts. You
- 50:03Speaker 1: may not solve the problems that are in their lives.
- 50:06Speaker 1: They are impressed at your anointing. They are impressed at
- 50:09Speaker 1: your gifting. But it's not transforming their lives. It's not
- 50:14Speaker 1: actually making the kind of impact that it's supposed to make.
- 50:17Speaker 1: And so there's a waiting period between a time when
- 50:21Speaker 1: a person is called and anointed... and when a person
- 50:24Speaker 1: is sent. And this waiting period, I'm telling you a
- 50:27Speaker 1: lot of times, right, people have gone out, they are correct,
- 50:30Speaker 1: all right?
- 50:31Speaker 2: They are right in what they have done there. It's
- 50:33Speaker 2: just like we.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Heard Bishop Fungariro say, you can carry the ark, and
- 50:40Speaker 1: you didn't do it the right way. Your intent was correct.
- 50:44Speaker 1: And in the things of God, it's more than intent.
- 50:47Speaker 1: You have to do it right. You can't just say, well,
- 50:49Speaker 1: I meant right. You may mean right, but at the
- 50:53Speaker 1: end of the day, people have lost their lives, but
- 50:55Speaker 1: you meant right. You come just beyond meaning right. You
- 51:00Speaker 1: have to have the wisdom on the inside of yourself,
- 51:04Speaker 1: all right, to be able to get that particular thing done.
- 51:08Speaker 1: So there's the pool that is called sent, and all
- 51:11Speaker 1: of us should go there as a second thing of seeing.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Which means, number one, there's the prayer where I pray,
- 51:17Speaker 1: where I see what is in my environment. And you
- 51:20Speaker 1: are walking and God begins to show you pockets, you know,
- 51:23Speaker 1: of opportunities that are there. You start seeing things. You say, well,
- 51:27Speaker 1: they just made me a receptionist, a front desk person.
- 51:31Speaker 1: But if you are praying, God, give me eyes to
- 51:33Speaker 1: see things in this business here. You begin to collate data.
- 51:37Speaker 1: You know, let me say this here. A person might,
- 51:41Speaker 1: you know, Jesus said, Jesus said, he told the people,
- 51:47Speaker 1: he said, you've never heard his voice. Neither have you
- 51:49Speaker 1: ever seen his shape. But you search the scriptures, but
- 51:53Speaker 1: you haven't seen it. You can see God in your environment, literally.
- 52:00Speaker 1: If your eyes are open, you see him in your
- 52:03Speaker 1: environment there. You know, there's a story. This is not
- 52:08Speaker 1: a story. An actual fact is documented in a book by.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Peter Wagner of blessed memory.
- 52:15Speaker 1: And he was talking about why, you know, he was
- 52:21Speaker 1: talking about... you know, everything anybody tells you to do
- 52:26Speaker 1: to succeed, anything, if you go and meet somebody and say, well,
- 52:30Speaker 1: what do you do to succeed? This is why you
- 52:32Speaker 1: have to see. And he tells you, I did one, two, three, four, five.
- 52:35Speaker 1: I guarantee you, you will see people who have done
- 52:38Speaker 1: the one, two, three, four, five and failed. If you
- 52:42Speaker 1: want me to say, what did you do? I fasted,
- 52:43Speaker 1: I prayed, I read my Bible. I guarantee you, you
- 52:46Speaker 1: will have 10 people that fasted, prayed, read their Bible, nothing.
- 52:49Speaker 1: This is the mystery of sin. All right? Someone says, well,
- 52:53Speaker 1: I'm a giver. I did this.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I guarantee you, you will see one, two, three.
- 52:57Speaker 1: And one of the things that is not helping us
- 52:59Speaker 1: in the church is that we are not scientific about things.
- 53:03Speaker 1: Scientific means that you look at, if 10 people say that, listen,
- 53:08Speaker 1: you know, we got blessed. You look into the lives
- 53:11Speaker 1: of the 10 people to identify the common traits within them.
- 53:16Speaker 1: And then you begin to know exactly what is triggering
- 53:19Speaker 1: all of that. Listen, a person can come out, let
- 53:23Speaker 1: me tell you this, and tell you this is why
- 53:25Speaker 1: I succeeded. And they are not lying, but what they
- 53:30Speaker 1: are actually saying is not the correct thing. Because they
- 53:33Speaker 1: themselves may not have understood what was at play within
- 53:37Speaker 1: the environment themselves. that actually made them. You better not
- 53:40Speaker 1: come out and say, oh, I did this, I did that.
- 53:42Speaker 1: And they are speaking truly from their heart. But you know,
- 53:46Speaker 1: they don't understand it. And you just may not know,
- 53:51Speaker 1: but you are being truthful. You know, he was talking
- 53:53Speaker 1: about this church that was growing in a certain area
- 53:57Speaker 1: in America. And it was in the northern part of America.
- 54:02Speaker 1: And culturally, the southern part of America is different culturally
- 54:05Speaker 1: from the northern part of America. So what happened? Now
- 54:08Speaker 1: the church was growing. And so they went to meet
- 54:11Speaker 1: the pastor and asked him, so why is your church growing?
- 54:13Speaker 1: And he said, because we preach the undiluted word of God.
- 54:16Speaker 1: We stick to this, teach people, do discipleship. And people
- 54:19Speaker 1: love that. And that's why our church is growing. So
- 54:22Speaker 1: they took it down. Thank you very much. Then they
- 54:24Speaker 1: went across the street, down the road, to look at
- 54:27Speaker 1: other churches not growing. So they asked the pastors, why
- 54:29Speaker 1: are your churches not growing? They said, you know, people
- 54:31Speaker 1: don't like the undiluted word of God. We preach the
- 54:34Speaker 1: undiluted word of God. We teach this. The exact thing
- 54:36Speaker 1: the other man said, that said he's making his church grow,
- 54:39Speaker 1: is the exact thing these people said, that they said,
- 54:41Speaker 1: he's not making our church grow. So they knew that
- 54:44Speaker 1: something is going on here that these men don't understand.
- 54:47Speaker 1: So what did they do? They went and did the research.
- 54:50Speaker 1: And then they found out that there was migration, that
- 54:53Speaker 1: that pastor whose church was growing grew up in the south.
- 54:57Speaker 1: And that there was a migration of people from the
- 55:00Speaker 1: south into that particular area in the northern part of America.
- 55:05Speaker 1: And so they had been going to churches, but they
- 55:08Speaker 1: just didn't.
- 55:08Speaker 2: Connect culturally with those churches.
- 55:11Speaker 1: So when they entered into the church of this man
- 55:13Speaker 1: who grew up in the south, they didn't even know
- 55:15Speaker 1: what was going on.
- 55:16Speaker 2: I will give examples and laugh the jokes.
- 55:18Speaker 1: They said, aha! We connect with these. So what really
- 55:23Speaker 1: was going on? was that there was a movement of
- 55:26Speaker 1: people from the south. And once that movement stopped and
- 55:29Speaker 1: people stopped migrating into those areas there, what happened was
- 55:34Speaker 1: that the church stagnated at that particular point in time.
- 55:38Speaker 1: So when God gives you eyes that see, you can
- 55:42Speaker 1: even look into something and you will see clearly that
- 55:47Speaker 1: this is what is actually going on in this place.
- 55:49Speaker 1: You will look in as a front desk person and
- 55:52Speaker 1: look at it and say 10 people come into this
- 55:55Speaker 1: organization every day.
- 55:57Speaker 2: Only two of them bring great business.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Every time 10 come, and you will understand the kind
- 56:03Speaker 1: of two people that actually, the background, the way they are,
- 56:08Speaker 1: and you come out with data, and you go out
- 56:11Speaker 1: and go and meet your bosses and say, listen, I
- 56:14Speaker 1: have discovered something. Let's not waste time with this set
- 56:17Speaker 1: of people. This kind of people that come in this way,
- 56:20Speaker 1: they say, what are you talking about? I have looked
- 56:22Speaker 1: at this over six months. I have tracked it. These
- 56:25Speaker 1: are the kind of people, if we focus our marketing
- 56:28Speaker 1: and our advertising to this kind of people, you will
- 56:30Speaker 1: see that actually it's going to scale up. Use this
- 56:33Speaker 1: particular thing. They use it. The business scales up. They
- 56:36Speaker 1: know that they have an asset in their hands there.
- 56:39Speaker 1: It is not just a front desk person now. It's
- 56:42Speaker 1: somebody who is there gathering data. Somebody who is there
- 56:45Speaker 1: interpreting things. This is what God is saying, that your
- 56:48Speaker 1: eyes are opened up. I tell the ushers in church,
- 56:51Speaker 1: you are the only people. You are the only people
- 56:53Speaker 1: that meet everybody that comes into this church. No other
- 56:56Speaker 1: group of people meet everybody that comes in. Everybody that
- 56:59Speaker 1: comes into the church meets with an usher. So you
- 57:02Speaker 1: can gather data for us. You are the ones that
- 57:05Speaker 1: can know whether somebody was happy or not. Whether somebody
- 57:08Speaker 1: at the end of the service, that position is not just,
- 57:11Speaker 1: I'm an usher.
- 57:13Speaker 2: Are you following what I'm saying here? Have eyes that see.
- 57:18Speaker 1: That's when you go to work and you are excited
- 57:21Speaker 1: about what you are doing. Because you are processing things.
- 57:25Speaker 1: You are thinking at a level. That's why David could say,
- 57:28Speaker 1: I have more understanding than my teachers. In other words,
- 57:31Speaker 1: they teach, but I see things into what they are
- 57:33Speaker 1: teaching that they themselves that are teaching it don't see it.
- 57:43Speaker 2: So the third one I want to look at here.
- 57:46Speaker 1: Of sin is So there's washing in the pool called Salem.
- 57:51Speaker 1: If you have an idea, don't just jump out. Take
- 57:54Speaker 1: time to pray and pray and ask God for clarity
- 58:00Speaker 1: so that there's no guesswork, so that you are not
- 58:03Speaker 1: making mistakes that become an obstacle in the future, so
- 58:07Speaker 1: that you get it right the first time, so that
- 58:11Speaker 1: you meet with the right people and things work out right.
- 58:17Speaker 1: The third level of sin is when you see into scriptures.
- 58:21Speaker 1: In other words, when God opens up your eyes to
- 58:25Speaker 1: see scriptures. And when you get to that level, you
- 58:31Speaker 1: are no longer reading the Bible.
- 58:34Speaker 2: The Bible is reading you.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Once you start seeing into the scriptures, when you take
- 58:42Speaker 1: up the Bible and you are reading it, every character
- 58:45Speaker 1: that is in your office that is playing politics, you
- 58:48Speaker 1: are seeing those characters in the life of David. You
- 58:53Speaker 1: are seeing the decisions that David made. You are seeing
- 58:56Speaker 1: those characters in the life of Jacob. You are seeing
- 59:00Speaker 1: that everything just keeps happening in cycles and seasons. You're
- 59:06Speaker 1: going to the book of Kings, what you are calling politics,
- 59:08Speaker 1: you see that this is how. You see how you
- 59:12Speaker 1: are supposed to approach your boss or approach your client
- 59:16Speaker 1: from what you have seen inside the word of God.
- 59:20Speaker 1: They say, where did you get this idea? You say,
- 59:22Speaker 1: I got it out of the book of Jeremiah. The
- 59:24Speaker 1: other people are looking at Jeremiah. Where did you see this?
- 59:28Speaker 1: They say, I brought it out of this place here.
- 59:31Speaker 1: I saw things inside the scripture that compelled me to
- 59:35Speaker 1: act this way. That compelled me to, you know, to
- 59:38Speaker 1: go and make a decision here. To know who I
- 59:42Speaker 1: should call that will talk to this person. That will
- 59:45Speaker 1: actually get this particular door opened up unto me. That
- 59:49Speaker 1: I saw that God was here. Man was here. And
- 59:52Speaker 1: that God needed a mediator between him and man. another
- 59:56Speaker 1: so you understand that there are certain things if God
- 59:58Speaker 1: needed a mediator you also might need a mediator between
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: you and somebody and God tells you who that mediator
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: is and as you are studying I met it and
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: you recognize that person and you call him can you
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: help me talk to this particular individual they say where
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: did you get it I saw it in the scripture
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: the way God chose Jesus to mediate I also have
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: chosen this person to mediate the scriptures begin to talk
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: to you Which means it now becomes a book of instruction,
- 1:00:24Speaker 1: a life manual for you.
- 1:00:27Speaker 2: And you get practical.
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: And so you can go into the book of Chronicles,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: the book of Kings, and begin to see how things
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: play out. And how individuals and how decisions are made.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: And you enter into a position and you look at Solomon.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: The minute he entered into that position... where the warfare
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: came from. And by you reading that, you can know
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: now that I've been promoted to this position as CEO,
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: these are the angles where the warfare, these are the
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: type of people, you know, that will fire arrows at me.
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: These are the decisions that I've got to make. You
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: understand that. You'll see every person in your life, the
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: role that they are supposed to play as you are
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: reading the word of God.
- 1:01:09Speaker 2: And how do we get to this particular point?
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Quickly, if we look at Luke chapter 24, verse 18
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: to verse 19. Luke 24, 18 to 19. Now, Jesus
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: was raised from the dead. Jesus was raised from the dead.
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: And you should pray this. This, I believe, is my
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: personal opinion. This is the most important prayer in the
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: New Testament. The most important prayer any Christian can pray
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: is Ephesians chapter 1, verse 16 to verse 18. It's
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: the most important. The Bible says the God of this world, Satan,
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: blinds the minds of people. Satan, what he's doing is
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: to blind the minds of people. His power is literally broken,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: not just legally now in Christ, but literally your life
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: is broken when God opens up the eyes of your understanding.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: And if he didn't need to open up the eyes
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: of your understanding, Paul would not have been praying that
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: for the church at Ephesus. Paul knew that I've got
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: to pray this for it to happen there. But if
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: you look at Luke 24, all right, that we saw here,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: and verse 18 and verse 19. Luke 24, 18 and 19. Now,
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: Jesus was raised from the dead.
- 1:02:22Speaker 2: And this was close past here.
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: So look. I won't stretch these thoughts, but if you
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: don't see, if you don't see, then the woman who
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: was at the well, who had had five husbands, and
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: was living with a sixth person who wasn't her husband,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: you will never think that such an unclean person will
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: be the point of contact to opening up an entire
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: city for the ministry of Jesus. In fact, the woman
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: at that well told Jesus, you are not permitted to
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: even have conversations with me.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: So you'll be in a position where you even look.
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: At some people and say, I cannot have conversations with that.
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: But people have eyes. Eyes that see. Eyes that see.
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: He saw that woman for what she is. And that's
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: why Peter was struggling. And God said, don't call unclean
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: what I've called clean. And the people that God may
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: bring into your life, the kind of people that God
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: wants to bring in, you might be doing, you know,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: human wisdom of networking and networking and networking. And you
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: just may not realize that the people you are supposed
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to network with are people that are on the lower
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: strata of humanity, that doors may be opened up onto you.
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: If you don't see, you might walk past that man
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: who was there lying half dead. And you are going
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: to battle confessing, all right, that you have victory in
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. And saying God has given me his prophetic word.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: We are going to have victory. We are going there
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: to overcome, to recover and take all as he told you,
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: all right. But you walk past that man because you
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: have no time. But they stopped to give him water
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: and something to drink and food. And the life came
- 1:04:17Speaker 1: back into that man and they held a conversation with him.
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: A man that his own masters had said, you are
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: good for nothing and cast him aside. That was the
- 1:04:26Speaker 1: man that told them exactly what to do. That reduced
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: the casualty there and they recovered everything with no casualty.
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: It was somebody else that cast him aside, and somebody
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: else picked him up, gave him life, and he gave
- 1:04:42Speaker 1: strategic information. You may walk past people who are in
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: an organization that have strategic information. You walk past the driver,
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: and it's the driver that has heard the conversation, that
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: knows where the thing will swing to, but you don't
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: greet them because, you know, I'm a big man, I
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: came here for some strategic thing, and I don't talk
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: to people like this. Many people have discovered things by
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: talking to people on the lower level. Many people have
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: discovered things here. I can't say some things, but there
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: are many people that are influential. I have a friend,
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: very influential, and he says, I eat where the drivers eat.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: I eat where? He said, that's where the information is circling.
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: That's where the real conversations are going on. They're giving
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: us information as to what? You walk past them because
- 1:05:29Speaker 1: you don't believe that you can become the prime minister
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: and By any information you receive when you are in jail.
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: Anybody in jail is not worth networking with. But that
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: is where Joseph got the contact to go. So God
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: walks down while we are trying to go up. And
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: in our trying to go up, that's why it says
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: to him that has not. You are trying to go
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: up and say I'm working with big men and all
- 1:05:53Speaker 1: of that and you do not know. Alright? that, listen,
- 1:05:56Speaker 1: they humiliate you, they take you before court of law,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: they do all these things and say, well, these people
- 1:06:00Speaker 1: are not treating me because you are gravitating towards, all right,
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: the wrong set of people. So this is important. That's
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: why I say you must have eyes that see. You
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: must have eyes that see. I switched on the television
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: one day. And let me just say this. I thought
- 1:06:19Speaker 1: I would preach about that, but I had to finish this. Listen.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: It says, wherever the soles of your feet step, I
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: have given it unto you. And some of us Christians,
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: the reason why we are not in influential places is
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: that we are trying to get into the influential place
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: from the top. And we don't know that Joseph was
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: the brain behind Pharaoh. He wasn't Pharaoh. But everything, there
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: are people that are influencing things that are not visible.
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: And it costs you nothing, costs you nothing to enter
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: into those positions, just loyalty and faithfulness. And you can
- 1:06:52Speaker 1: enter into there and sit in those rooms and have
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: those conversations. And you didn't have to spend money on
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: an election and spend money on this. And you are
- 1:06:59Speaker 1: having those conversations because you have come to understand the
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: principle that wherever the sole of my foot touches, that's
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: what I'm going to give unto you. They open up
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: the door, but you think that the position they are
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: giving to you is not the right position. But what
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: they are giving to you is access. And at whatever
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: level the access is, you take that access. Because you know,
- 1:07:18Speaker 1: once the sole of my foot enters into that place,
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: I will be able to dominate within this place. I
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: was listening one day, I just switched on television, I
- 1:07:27Speaker 1: bumped on it, and it was, I think God wanted
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: to see, it was the former president of South Africa,
- 1:07:33Speaker 1: Thabo Mbeki. And he was talking and he said it
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: was his 80th birthday and he was giving a speech.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I just tumbled on it and he said, you know,
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: we went to, I think it was Mali. He said,
- 1:07:42Speaker 1: when we got there, they took us to the place.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: He said, I just went first, we got in and
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: then I went to visit, you know, where the history
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: of Africa is, you know, all that had happened in
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: the past. And he said, they put it in the place,
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: all the documents, the literature, all of that.
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: And he said the cameraman.
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: From SABC, the South African Broadcasting Corporation, was there following
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: him recording it. And the man lowered his camera and said, sir,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: I need to say something to you. And he said what?
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: He had access. He was a cameraman, but he had access.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: A cameraman, but he had access. That people may queue.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Up for something, but he will always follow him. He said, sir,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: I want to tell you something.
- 1:08:21Speaker 1: He said, the history of Africa should not be placed
- 1:08:24Speaker 1: in a building like this.
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: It's not befitting of Africa.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: And he said, please, when you meet with the president
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: of Mali, can you tell him to build a museum
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: for us? So at least we'll have this document in
- 1:08:34Speaker 1: a place there. And Prime Minister Thabong Beg said, I'll
- 1:08:37Speaker 1: discuss that with him. He was saying this himself. He said,
- 1:08:40Speaker 1: so when he met the president of Mali, he went
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: to him and said, sir, I want to say one
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: thing to you. He said, what? He said, that place
- 1:08:46Speaker 1: where all those documents are, you know, it's not really
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: good for Africa. This is the history of Africa. This
- 1:08:50Speaker 1: is where all these things are, you know, things, trade routes.
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: And the man looked at him and said, Prime Minister,
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: you come from a rich country, I'm from a poor country.
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: He said, if you have.
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: an opportunity to build a museum or build boreholes for
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: your poor people, which will you do? And he said,
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: I will build boreholes instead of a museum. He said, yes,
- 1:09:07Speaker 1: I'm going to use our money to build boreholes. And
- 1:09:09Speaker 1: Prime Minister Timberlake said, if you build boreholes, we will
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: build a museum for you. There is a museum now,
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: state of art, built by South Africa, but nobody knows.
- 1:09:18Speaker 1: It was the man from SABC that suggested it. I
- 1:09:22Speaker 1: am telling you that there are many people suggesting things.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: You will be amazed how powerful people finally make the decision.
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: You'll be amazed that they just turn around and ask
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: somebody around them, what do you think about this particular thing?
- 1:09:37Speaker 1: They asked Hillary Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton. They said, why
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: was your husband so successful, Bill Clinton, in economic policies?
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: He said, we will sit down with strategists and we
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: will debate and come to a conclusion. He said, it
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: will come out of the situational room. And he'd be
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: walking down the corridor and see a janitor and say,
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: come here, come here. This is the decision we want
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: to make here about it. If you were to make
- 1:09:56Speaker 1: a decision on your family as to how to spend money,
- 1:09:58Speaker 1: and he would draw the thing, the man would say,
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: this is exactly what I'll do. He would call another one,
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: what would he say? He said he would do the
- 1:10:04Speaker 1: policy according to the common sense those people gave him.
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: That's why I said you look at it and say,
- 1:10:11Speaker 1: what is this among so many? And you despise. You
- 1:10:18Speaker 1: don't know how many, listen, if you get to go
- 1:10:20Speaker 1: and get the book, Mystery of Capital by Hernando de Soto,
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: where he spoke about the fact that Africa is a
- 1:10:27Speaker 1: wealthy continent. Listen, a wealthy continent that is sitting on wealth.
- 1:10:35Speaker 1: But the problem is, it is held in defective ways.
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: So God will open up the eyes. So these two men,
- 1:10:46Speaker 1: In Luke 24, 18 and 19, it says, Luke 24, 18.
- 1:10:53Speaker 1: So this was after the resurrection of Jesus. One of them, Clopas,
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: was answering, said unto him, now Jesus was, after he
- 1:11:02Speaker 1: was raised from dead, he was walking on the streets.
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: And he found two gentlemen who were discussing. They had
- 1:11:10Speaker 1: just come from his tomb.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: And they were discussing. So Jesus met up with them.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: And so he asked them a question. And the Bible
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: says they looked at Jesus and said, why are you
- 1:11:20Speaker 1: people sorrowful? What's going on? Why are you worried? And
- 1:11:24Speaker 1: this is what they said to Jesus. Are thou only
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: a stranger in Jerusalem? And hast thou not known the
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: things which are to come to pass there in these days?
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: The next verse tells us, And he said unto them,
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: what things? And they said unto him, now they were
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: telling Jesus that he's a stranger. This is Jesus you
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: are talking to. You know, when your eyes are not opened,
- 1:11:51Speaker 1: it's a terrible thing. You are telling Jesus, telling him
- 1:11:54Speaker 1: about the resurrection, that you're a stranger in this land.
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: You just come to this land. This is Jesus.
- 1:12:00Speaker 2: Now, they said to him, what things?
- 1:12:01Speaker 1: And he said unto them, concerning Jesus, they said, which
- 1:12:04Speaker 1: was a prophet, mighty indeed, and a word before God
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: and all the people. And then the next verse tells us,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: And how the chief priests and the rulers delivered him
- 1:12:12Speaker 1: and condemned him to death and have crucified him.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: The next verse tells us, but we trusted.
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: That he had been, that he would be redeemed from
- 1:12:20Speaker 1: Israel and bring forth all of these things. Now, let's
- 1:12:23Speaker 1: go to verse 27 because of time. Verse 27, quickly.
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: Luke 24, 27. So it says, Luke 24, 27. And
- 1:12:40Speaker 1: beginning at Moses and all the prophets, Jesus expounded to
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself. Now
- 1:12:51Speaker 1: verse 31, because of time. So he was expounding. And
- 1:12:55Speaker 1: their eyes, all right, now before, all right. Now before this,
- 1:13:00Speaker 1: let's look at verse 29. So, from verse 29. But
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: the constrain him, said, abide with us. towards evening and
- 1:13:10Speaker 1: the day was fast spent and he went to tarry
- 1:13:12Speaker 1: with them. And then the next verse he tells us,
- 1:13:15Speaker 1: and he came to pass as they sat at meat
- 1:13:16Speaker 1: with them.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: He took bread, blessed it, broke it and gave it
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: to them. And the Bible says.
- 1:13:20Speaker 1: Their eyes were now opened and they knew him and
- 1:13:25Speaker 1: he vanished out of their sight.
- 1:13:27Speaker 2: Now hear what they said.
- 1:13:30Speaker 1: They said one to another, did our hearts not born
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: within us while he talked with us by the way?
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: And while he opened the scriptures to us. So when
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: the scriptures are being opened to you, your heart begins
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: to burn. And it's a man that God sends to
- 1:13:54Speaker 1: open the scriptures to you. That's what happened when Daniel
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: understood by books what was written in the book of Jeremiah.
- 1:14:04Speaker 1: Through the books he was reading, the scriptures were opened
- 1:14:09Speaker 1: unto him. And your heart begins to burn. And it's
- 1:14:14Speaker 1: a sensational feeling. But you have to go beyond the
- 1:14:21Speaker 1: scriptures being opened.
- 1:14:22Speaker 2: That is the foundation. That has to happen.
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: To the place where your own understanding is opened, which
- 1:14:30Speaker 1: means your eyes are opened up. If we look at
- 1:14:34Speaker 1: verse 45, the Bible says, and I close here at
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: verse 45, it says, Luke 24, and then he opened
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: their understanding that they may understand the scriptures. You can
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: open the scriptures to people. But it's only God that
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: can open the understanding of the people. So that when
- 1:15:03Speaker 1: the scriptures are opened up, they understand the scriptures. So
- 1:15:08Speaker 1: that they are not always ever learning, but not coming
- 1:15:13Speaker 1: to the knowledge of the truth. In other words, always
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: having this sensational feeling inside.
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: But it doesn't get to the place where you are transformed.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Is this opening of your understanding that Paul called with
- 1:15:27Speaker 1: an open face, beholding, which means you go from hearing
- 1:15:32Speaker 1: to a place of beholding.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: Your face has been opened.
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: And that's why Paul prayed in Ephesians chapter 1 and
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: verse 16. And this is a prayer you should offer up.
- 1:15:45Speaker 1: Ephesians 1, he says, I cease not to give thanks
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: for you, making mention of you in my prayers, that
- 1:15:52Speaker 1: the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory,
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation
- 1:16:00Speaker 1: in the knowledge, which means as the knowledge is being passed,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: you have the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the
- 1:16:08Speaker 1: knowledge of him, that the eyes of your understanding may
- 1:16:12Speaker 1: be enlightened, so that you may know the hope You
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: come to that place of purpose, assignment, you are sent.
- 1:16:19Speaker 2: You know the hope of his calling.
- 1:16:22Speaker 1: You know the riches of his glorious inheritance, which is
- 1:16:26Speaker 1: the riches there is the wisdom of God. And then
- 1:16:29Speaker 1: from there you also come in contact with the power
- 1:16:32Speaker 1: of God. So if we look at Peter who went
- 1:16:36Speaker 1: to catch fish, caught nothing. Three things happened. Wisdom is
- 1:16:41Speaker 1: profitable to direct. He came in contact with the riches
- 1:16:44Speaker 1: of the glorious inheritance, which is wisdom. He came in
- 1:16:47Speaker 1: contact with it when Jesus said, cast your net on
- 1:16:50Speaker 1: the right hand side and launch out into the deep.
- 1:16:52Speaker 1: Direction was given. He came in contact with power when
- 1:16:56Speaker 1: he began to bring the fish and he saw it.
- 1:17:00Speaker 1: and he called his partners, and both of them's boats
- 1:17:04Speaker 1: began to sink. He saw power that came from the wisdom,
- 1:17:08Speaker 1: which was the direction of God. And he saw it
- 1:17:11Speaker 1: and said, I'm a sinner. What he meant was, I'm
- 1:17:12Speaker 1: not worthy of these things. You have done exceedingly abundantly
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: above what I can ask or.
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Think, according to this power.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: He saw it. But most importantly, like we said yesterday,
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: he knew the hope of his calling. So even though
- 1:17:26Speaker 1: he experienced all of this, he said, now, We are
- 1:17:29Speaker 1: going to catch men. So what happens is three things happen.
- 1:17:35Speaker 1: You see purpose. You get the wisdom of God, which
- 1:17:39Speaker 1: is what I am supposed to do in this situation.
- 1:17:43Speaker 1: You experience the power of God, the same power that
- 1:17:47Speaker 1: he wrought in Christ when he raised him up from
- 1:17:49Speaker 1: the dead. But most importantly, you have your reason for being,
- 1:17:55Speaker 1: your purpose. And so that is clearly defined. And you
- 1:17:59Speaker 1: go after that completely. I believe there are people under
- 1:18:03Speaker 1: the sound of my voice here that there is something
- 1:18:08Speaker 1: that God has for you on this earth. In other words,
- 1:18:13Speaker 1: we've come to this meeting and God wants to open
- 1:18:16Speaker 1: up your eyes to see something. And in closing, I
- 1:18:20Speaker 1: will tell this story, which I found to be a
- 1:18:22Speaker 1: remarkable story. And I had the experience at the beginning
- 1:18:26Speaker 1: of this year when Brother Copeland called Word of Faith
- 1:18:29Speaker 1: ministers together in his ranch. He does it every year
- 1:18:32Speaker 1: in January. So we went for it. And there was
- 1:18:36Speaker 1: a minister by the name who had been listening to,
- 1:18:38Speaker 1: you know, I'm young from time to time. All right.
- 1:18:42Speaker 1: Mark Hammond. And he's 83 years old now. I didn't
- 1:18:46Speaker 1: even know he was three years old. But this man
- 1:18:50Speaker 1: got up and he was preaching. He took one of
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: the sessions. And in those sessions, he said something that
- 1:18:56Speaker 1: will remain with me for the rest of my life.
- 1:18:59Speaker 1: He said, when I was 80 years old, God came
- 1:19:02Speaker 1: to me and to tell me something about his assignment
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: I had not yet done. 80 years old. And I'm
- 1:19:09Speaker 1: telling everybody, listen, you are not too old. Listen, you
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: may retire and be at home, but God still has
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: his purpose for your life. Eight years old. He said,
- 1:19:20Speaker 1: by all standards of ministry, and I like how he
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: said it. He said I was, by what we call
- 1:19:25Speaker 1: standard of ministry, I was successful. He said 1.8 million
- 1:19:30Speaker 1: people in the... He said, I pastored one church in
- 1:19:32Speaker 1: Minneapolis for 45 years. 1.8 million people had walked up
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: to our altar and given their lives to Christ. 14,000
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: people had gone through our ministerial training to become ministers.
- 1:19:45Speaker 1: He said, and the income that we had gotten into
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: the church... had gone up to $ 20 billion in those
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: 45 years. By the standards of ministry, millions had gotten
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: born again, trained for ministry and all of that. He said,
- 1:19:58Speaker 1: you will have looked at me and said, you know,
- 1:20:00Speaker 1: it's time for you to retire your legacy. He said,
- 1:20:03Speaker 1: on my 88th birthday, God came to me and told me,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: He said, you still have 50. He said, for 45 years,
- 1:20:08Speaker 1: I pastored one church. He said, you have to open
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: 50 churches for me before you come home to be
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: with me at the age of 80. And those 50
- 1:20:16Speaker 1: churches are in third world nations. He said, and when
- 1:20:20Speaker 1: I say raise those churches, I mean, leave the church
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: with a building and leave the church with a pastor
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: that you have raised up at the age of 80.
- 1:20:30Speaker 1: He's going into South Sudan. He's going into places, remote
- 1:20:35Speaker 1: places in Africa. He's going into El Salvador and all
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: of that. At the age of 18, assignment, assignment, purpose.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Life will come back instantly to you. You start looking young, assignment, purpose.
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: And when he finished preaching, he turned around to Brother
- 1:20:49Speaker 1: Copeland and he said, in 30 years, I've been coming
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: for this conference, 30 years, I have never, ever left
- 1:20:56Speaker 1: this conference without sitting through. But because of this assignment,
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: I am sorry, Brother Copeland, for the first time. I
- 1:21:02Speaker 1: have to give you the microphone. I have to head
- 1:21:04Speaker 1: my way. Right, and Brother Coburn said, I understand, hugged him.
- 1:21:07Speaker 1: And the man walked away because of assignment and walked away.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: There are people under the sound of my voice now
- 1:21:12Speaker 1: who are saying there's an assignment. And I pray for
- 1:21:15Speaker 1: you in the mighty name of Jesus that in this conference,
- 1:21:19Speaker 1: you will wash your eyes in that pool called Siloam.
- 1:21:23Speaker 1: A pool where you will leave this place seeing clearly
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: what God has placed and what he has for you.
- 1:21:32Speaker 2: And leave this place with intercession, with prayers.
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: That God himself will come down and initiate things on
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: this earth for the fulfillment of that call in the
- 1:21:44Speaker 1: mighty name of Jesus Christ.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: God bless you all.
- 1:21:48Speaker 1: Koinonia.
- 1:21:49Speaker 2: It was wonderful being here.
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: And there has been massive utterance that I've had on
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: this platform, a testimony to the quality of this ministry,
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: a testimony to the quality of intercession that has gone
- 1:22:03Speaker 1: in the background for the fulfillment.
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: I salute, all right. God bless you all.
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: Let's give Pastor Pojo a big, big round of applause.
