- 0:38Speaker 1: I was, you know, just in repose. I was taking

- 0:55Speaker 1: This is a politically incorrect podcast. We say a lie
- 1:00Speaker 1: of bad words, we have stupid opinions, and we're not

- 1:41Speaker 1: had a lot of fun and me too. But that's
- 1:43Speaker 1: where all the extra content is and we do put

- 1:58Speaker 1: us to grow in the algorithm, and so thank you
- 2:01Speaker 1: in head Van, thank you. All right, So do we
- 2:06Speaker 1: want to talk about last week's Welcome to Plato? It
- 2:10Speaker 1: was so deeply.
- 2:12Speaker 2: Boring, so boring.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Okay, here's what I want to talk about. Okay, because
- 2:18Speaker 1: it's slowly become very apparent to me over the episodes
- 2:23Speaker 1: as they've been progressing, but especially last week and this week,
- 2:27Speaker 1: just how produced every scene is, yes, just how like
- 2:33Speaker 1: fake it all is. And I am bored and I
- 2:37Speaker 1: am bored with your sex party, honey, I'm bored with
- 2:40Speaker 1: your dumb wigs, which is shocking. I mean, I love
- 2:43Speaker 1: a dumb wi but I'm bored with all these birthday
- 2:46Speaker 1: parties and stupid meetings and it's not authentic.
- 2:51Speaker 2: I know, I don't know what happened because of the divorces,
- 2:54Speaker 2: Like now we have to produce every single scene, kind
- 2:57Speaker 2: of like Sister Wives. But at least with Sister Wives,
- 3:00Speaker 2: there was still the dysfunction and it was still kind
- 3:02Speaker 2: of interesting even though they were doing dumb shit. But
- 3:05Speaker 2: this is like painful.
- 3:08Speaker 1: It's really bad. Like Micah and his girlfriend walking on
- 3:11Speaker 1: the beach, and I want to know more about her,
- 3:14Speaker 1: but I don't want to know about her like this, right,
- 3:17Speaker 1: And I want to know what's going on with Barry
- 3:19Speaker 1: and Kim, but not like this. And even in this
- 3:22Speaker 1: week's episode with Mariah meeting her weird rando friend to
- 3:27Speaker 1: have a cinnamon bun and talk about this mystery man
- 3:31Speaker 1: that nobody's actually really talking about though, it's like there's
- 3:35Speaker 1: all these potential storylines that are in fact really interesting
- 3:39Speaker 1: and that we could really get into. And I say
- 3:41Speaker 1: it every week, Honnye, the dui, the adultery, all of it,
- 3:44Speaker 1: Like we could be talking about this in a very
- 3:47Speaker 1: real way, and I think that would make for riveting television,
- 3:50Speaker 1: but instead we have this produced shit, and honestly, to me,
- 3:53Speaker 1: it's the death knell of this program. Like if you
- 3:55Speaker 1: keep doing this production, nobody's going to want to.
- 3:58Speaker 2: Watch oh, not at all. But then you have a
- 4:00Speaker 2: bunch of people online that are like, oh my god,
- 4:02Speaker 2: I only watched the show for Olivia, like her stories
- 4:05Speaker 2: are so interesting, and I'm like.
- 4:06Speaker 1: I don't know where all of that because I look
- 4:10Speaker 1: at the things that TLC posts on the show, and
- 4:13Speaker 1: it's like comment after comment saying why is Olivia on
- 4:16Speaker 1: this show? What is Olivia bringing to this show? Why
- 4:19Speaker 1: does she want to be on this show? So it
- 4:21Speaker 1: seems like a lot of people are objecting to her
- 4:23Speaker 1: being there, But then you go up on the reddits, Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 1: there's a lot of people. Okay, there's a lot of
- 4:27Speaker 1: people who want her there a lot for.
- 4:30Speaker 2: A reason, and like all of her storylines are also
- 4:32Speaker 2: fake and produced and boring, like all of these producer
- 4:35Speaker 2: planted friends, Like it's not just Olivia's, it's Mariah's, it's Micah's.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I'm like, who are these people?
- 4:41Speaker 2: I don't care about them?
- 4:43Speaker 1: And at the sex party, we have recycled producer plants
- 4:46Speaker 1: from when Micah was in La. It's the same boring
- 4:49Speaker 1: ass weird people, but now they're at Olivia's sex party.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I know, this is so dumb.
- 4:54Speaker 2: It was super dumb this week and last week.
- 4:58Speaker 1: What makes Olivia interesting is her deconstruction of her former fundamentalism,
- 5:04Speaker 1: Like that's an interesting story, and I think she tries
- 5:07Speaker 1: to get at it, but in my opinion, she does
- 5:09Speaker 1: it in sort of an ass backwards way, because she
- 5:12Speaker 1: seems really intent on always just blaming the plaths for everything,
- 5:17Speaker 1: as opposed to talking about her inner world and what
- 5:20Speaker 1: brought her here and kind of getting into the meat
- 5:24Speaker 1: of the matter. It's all this superficial, petty bullshit, Like
- 5:29Speaker 1: she's constantly jabbing at Ethan without coming out and saying
- 5:32Speaker 1: Ethan didn't know how to fuck.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Oh, you know, she's definitely saying that, but she's been
- 5:36Speaker 2: saying that on Instagram too.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Just say that. It's much more interesting if you sit
- 5:40Speaker 1: and face the camera and you talk about your sex
- 5:42Speaker 1: life with Ethan. That would make riveting television. And Ethan
- 5:45Speaker 1: talk about Olivia, like get into it, like you shared
- 5:48Speaker 1: all of these years of your marriage, almost your entire marriage,
- 5:51Speaker 1: with all of us, and we watched it and we
- 5:53Speaker 1: had to sus a lot of it out with our
- 5:55Speaker 1: raccoon monocles. Yea, but talk to us like we've been
- 5:58Speaker 1: here on the journey with you. Don't make bullshit up
- 6:01Speaker 1: and then feed it to us every week. I'm getting tired.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Oh I'm getting tired of it too. And Olivia is lying,
- 6:08Speaker 2: she's changing her story and she's rewriting history. In this episode,
- 6:12Speaker 2: she's talking about like how she's always wanted to be
- 6:14Speaker 2: on the farm, she's always wanted to live on a
- 6:16Speaker 2: farm life, but didn't want to tell anything because she's
- 6:19Speaker 2: scared about that, which is a bunch of bullshit, because
- 6:22Speaker 2: for five seasons we've been seeing her say, I want
- 6:24Speaker 2: to live somewhere out of a small town. I want
- 6:26Speaker 2: to live in a big city. I want to live somewhere.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Fun travel, I want to globe trot.
- 6:30Speaker 2: Yeah, so, like that's a lie talking about how she
- 6:33Speaker 2: didn't know anything about sex when she said in like
- 6:36Speaker 2: season one and two she was given Ethan blowjobs in
- 6:38Speaker 2: the car and the church parking lot, Like, come.
- 6:41Speaker 1: On, right, and we're not dumb kind of blaming Ethan
- 6:44Speaker 1: for their bad sex life when you were both in
- 6:47Speaker 1: that sex life or both in the fundamentalist contributing equally Olivia.
- 6:52Speaker 1: But I mean the way she talks about it is
- 6:54Speaker 1: she wanted to try different things and maybe Ethan wasn't
- 6:56Speaker 1: super into doing that.
- 6:58Speaker 2: Okay, but like, let's just talk about that more, right, Let's.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Have more conversations about that. I just really don't like
- 7:03Speaker 1: the road that this show is going down, Like I
- 7:06Speaker 1: think if they continue along this vein, we are probably
- 7:09Speaker 1: not going to have another season. Yeah, like for what
- 7:12Speaker 1: and for why?
- 7:13Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, but or it's just going to turn
- 7:15Speaker 2: into the Olivia Show, which I don't want to watch no,
- 7:18Speaker 2: because it feels like TLC is just putting a lot
- 7:21Speaker 2: of Olivia. Like this whole episode this week was like
- 7:23Speaker 2: half Olivia, and I'm like, I don't care. I literally
- 7:27Speaker 2: don't care unless we get to see your new weird
- 7:28Speaker 2: boyfriend who's kind of dinky looking in my opinion, but
- 7:33Speaker 2: like we're not seeing that. We're just seeing you go
- 7:35Speaker 2: to sex parties and speed dating next week and allude.
- 7:38Speaker 1: To a relationship with somebody long distance, like not actually
- 7:43Speaker 1: talking about the thing.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I really really hate that me too, so as I
- 7:49Speaker 1: understand it, though there are only two more episodes, What
- 7:53Speaker 1: next Week and then the week that Sister Wives launches
- 7:56Speaker 1: that's supposed to be their finale. I could be wrong,
- 7:59Speaker 1: but I think there's only two more episodes, and I'm like,
- 8:01Speaker 1: what have we done? I mean, yeah, we got into
- 8:03Speaker 1: a little bit of the divorce between Ethan and Olivia,
- 8:07Speaker 1: and I was I was riveted, me too, But we
- 8:09Speaker 1: didn't get into enough between Barry and Kim.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Not at all.
- 8:12Speaker 1: We're not talking about the division of assets. We're not
- 8:15Speaker 1: talking about like where are the kids going and how
- 8:17Speaker 1: that's working, Like, we didn't get into any of that,
- 8:20Speaker 1: and we're almost done with the season. I'm disappointed being.
- 8:23Speaker 2: I'm disappointed too well. And then if I have to
- 8:26Speaker 2: hear Mariah plug her album or her song like one
- 8:29Speaker 2: more time, I'm gonna throw something at my TV. Yeah.
- 8:32Speaker 1: I feel like the only reason she's talking about this
- 8:35Speaker 1: mystery guy is so that she can reference her upcoming album.
- 8:40Speaker 2: It is nobody cares about your stupid music video, But
- 8:44Speaker 2: we're gonna have to hear her sing next episode, okay, guaranteed.
- 8:47Speaker 2: I also feel like the stuff with Micah and his girlfriend,
- 8:50Speaker 2: like how he keeps saying like I don't know if
- 8:52Speaker 2: I'm gonna if I'm making the right choice or if
- 8:55Speaker 2: we're in love, blah blah blah. I feel like it's
- 8:57Speaker 2: setting up for like end of season proposal or something
- 9:00Speaker 2: crazy like that.
- 9:01Speaker 1: Please don't do it, I mean please, the red flags
- 9:04Speaker 1: are flagging.
- 9:05Speaker 2: I mean, they are a weird couple.
- 9:07Speaker 1: They are so strange.
- 9:09Speaker 2: You want to just talk about it, Yeah, let's talk
- 9:10Speaker 2: about it about the beginning of the episode, which let's
- 9:13Speaker 2: get the beach yep, with her wearing a whole ass
- 9:16Speaker 2: dress and makeup.
- 9:17Speaker 1: A full beaded face, hair done the beach. I don't understand.
- 9:22Speaker 1: And the last time we were here and we were
- 9:25Speaker 1: talking about the show, I'm like, there's just something that's
- 9:27Speaker 1: not connecting from me here. There's something that's just off.
- 9:30Speaker 1: And as I was watching them at the beach, it
- 9:32Speaker 1: really is like her social awkwardness. She seems deeply self conscious, Yeah,
- 9:39Speaker 1: and very uncomfortable in front of the camera, so much
- 9:43Speaker 1: so that I feel bad for her because Micah is
- 9:46Speaker 1: such a natural in front of the camera. It's super
- 9:49Speaker 1: easy for him, and she's just floundering.
- 9:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I felt bad for her. And this week she
- 9:54Speaker 2: also released an Instagram post with some younger pictures of her,
- 9:58Speaker 2: and she was talking about however, but he's been bullying
- 10:01Speaker 2: her and harassing her, and she's like, this is who
- 10:03Speaker 2: you're harassing, this young girl, like be nice, spread kindness whatever.
- 10:08Speaker 2: And people in the comments are assuming that the bullying
- 10:12Speaker 2: comments were like about her gender identity and stuff like that.
- 10:16Speaker 2: So people have been making comments about her appearance and
- 10:19Speaker 2: that possible gender. Cool. Yeah, so I feel bad for her.
- 10:24Speaker 1: Because she feels bad for her too.
- 10:26Speaker 2: Comes on camera and then people just start trashing.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Her, right, and so maybe that's why she was a
- 10:32Speaker 1: little reticent to come on camera. But at the same time,
- 10:36Speaker 1: if you come on camera, especially on TLC, you are
- 10:39Speaker 1: going to inherit a rabid audience of people with monocles.
- 10:44Speaker 1: We're going to be looking into your life. And so
- 10:47Speaker 1: this is kind of what comes along with it. I'm
- 10:48Speaker 1: not saying it's right, but like you ought to expect it.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Of course, people are fucking crazy, Like people are so
- 10:54Speaker 2: much worse than us, though, but we're not leaving comments
- 10:57Speaker 2: and we're not mean no, like some people, like especially
- 11:00Speaker 2: I read it. I'm like, you guys are the worst
- 11:03Speaker 2: people ever heard, like just some of the things that
- 11:05Speaker 2: people say. So but again, though, like you said, it's
- 11:08Speaker 2: like I don't know what you expected coming on TV.
- 11:11Speaker 2: You should have just stayed private, yees.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Especially if you have like social awkwardness ye or something
- 11:17Speaker 1: that keeps you from being natural. Because she comes off
- 11:21Speaker 1: so wooden and like she doesn't want to be there.
- 11:25Speaker 1: She is like interpreted by me as being very condescending
- 11:30Speaker 1: to Micah, I'm going to give you a little humility
- 11:33Speaker 1: or like very controlling. I just don't feel good about
- 11:37Speaker 1: this relationship. I'm sure she's a lovely person. I don't
- 11:40Speaker 1: know much about her at all, but just in their interaction,
- 11:43Speaker 1: I'm like, Micah, you are in danger. Girl, don't do it.
- 11:47Speaker 2: And the amount of times that Micah brings up navigating
- 11:50Speaker 2: relationship conflicts and dealing with arguments and stuff, I'm like, dude,
- 11:54Speaker 2: you guys have not been living with each other that
- 11:57Speaker 2: long to be talking about conflict and how much you
- 12:01Speaker 2: guys argue, Like why are you arguing so much? Though?
- 12:04Speaker 2: Like that's weird.
- 12:05Speaker 1: I mean you should be in the honeymoon phase of
- 12:07Speaker 1: your relationship, Like the first year is supposed to really
- 12:10Speaker 1: show you the potential of the relationship, and then you
- 12:13Speaker 1: get into the nitty gritty you start living with one
- 12:15Speaker 1: another and you kind of peek behind the curtain. Maybe
- 12:18Speaker 1: that's where they are in the relationship. But I just
- 12:21Speaker 1: feel very worried for him because I think he's got
- 12:24Speaker 1: a big heart. I think he has a sense of
- 12:27Speaker 1: adventure and exploration, and I think he's getting tied down
- 12:31Speaker 1: in this relationship to someone who has a whole lot
- 12:34Speaker 1: of expectations for him that he's really ultimately never going
- 12:38Speaker 1: to be able to fulfill.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 1: No, which is going to cause her to nag and
- 12:42Speaker 1: browbeat and condescend based on what I'm seeing, that's just
- 12:46Speaker 1: my fake psychic prediction. Yeah, And so I'm very worried.
- 12:49Speaker 1: And he keeps talking about how like I love her,
- 12:53Speaker 1: but I'm not ready to get tied down. He keeps
- 12:56Speaker 1: implying that he's not ready for marriage. But if he
- 12:59Speaker 1: pulls a proposal out girl at the end of the season,
- 13:03Speaker 1: I'm just like, none of these people have the ability
- 13:05Speaker 1: to learn, none of them.
- 13:07Speaker 2: Honestly, That's what I'm thinking is gonna happen. It's either
- 13:09Speaker 2: gonna happen at the end of the season or like
- 13:11Speaker 2: after the season's over and he's gonna be like, oh
- 13:13Speaker 2: my god, I love her. We got a loafed or
- 13:15Speaker 2: some shit like that. I'm calling it right up, my
- 13:18Speaker 2: fake psiche prediction, because that's what it feels like, because
- 13:22Speaker 2: he's saying all this shit like, oh, I don't know
- 13:24Speaker 2: if I'm making the right choice, Like we're in love,
- 13:28Speaker 2: it's like a genuine love, but I wouldn't say it's
- 13:30Speaker 2: like full on, like I don't know if I'm ready
- 13:32Speaker 2: to commit, Like he's playing both sides of it, but
- 13:35Speaker 2: then you're living with this girl, Like it's so bizarre.
- 13:37Speaker 1: What it's giving me is I don't have a job.
- 13:41Speaker 1: What is giving me is like she works really hard
- 13:43Speaker 1: as a real estate agent. She makes money, and I
- 13:47Speaker 1: don't have a college education, and I don't have a
- 13:50Speaker 1: future before me, and so I'm just gonna live off
- 13:54Speaker 1: of this professional woman.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I mean, that's what it's giving to me. That makes
- 14:00Speaker 2: sense too, I could totally see that.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Yeah, And I mean he is correct to worry about
- 14:06Speaker 1: his future because if Plaithville goes off the television this
- 14:11Speaker 1: season or next season, like, what are you gonna do
- 14:13Speaker 1: with your life?
- 14:14Speaker 2: I think he still models though, right, I don't think
- 14:16Speaker 2: he does. Oh he's done with it.
- 14:18Speaker 1: No, I think he's referenced that this season that he
- 14:20Speaker 1: kind of walked away from that, and he wanted to
- 14:23Speaker 1: be an actor and he's not doing any of that.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Well, he's gonna have his fencing business.
- 14:28Speaker 1: Okay, it's hard work, honey for such a pretty baby,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I know, but all right, and she'd gonna make you
- 14:35Speaker 1: work too. Oh yeah, dig that trench, honey, definitely.
- 14:39Speaker 2: But they're weird. Then we have, say the least, then
- 14:43Speaker 2: we have Olivia and Lydia Grace going to milk cows
- 14:48Speaker 2: for some reason.
- 14:49Speaker 1: This is what I'm saying in LA a produced scene. Hey,
- 14:53Speaker 1: what about a scene where you bring your sister in
- 14:56Speaker 1: from Arizona and you guys go milk cows like you
- 14:59Speaker 1: used to? Why? Who wants to see this?
- 15:02Speaker 2: Nobody fucking wants to see this? And I'm having this
- 15:04Speaker 2: weird little competition in front of this random farmer Joe guy,
- 15:08Speaker 2: like he gives a fuck.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Who's probably just a leched and looking at their booties
- 15:12Speaker 1: because they're so beautiful.
- 15:13Speaker 2: He's like, oh my god, wow, gorgeous.
- 15:16Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, they look like a farm that I would
- 15:19Speaker 1: want to go to. It looked like a slaughterhouse farm
- 15:22Speaker 1: a little bit. But I felt very sad for those cows. Yeah,
- 15:25Speaker 1: but whatever, let's make a scene, let's make some television.
- 15:28Speaker 2: But then Olivia saying that she wants to be back
- 15:30Speaker 2: on a farm and like wants the country life, and
- 15:33Speaker 2: then saying throwing Ethan under the bus and being like,
- 15:35Speaker 2: I didn't want to tell him that because then he
- 15:37Speaker 2: would have trapped me in kro and I would have
- 15:40Speaker 2: ended up a handmaiden and I would have had ten
- 15:42Speaker 2: kids and been barefoot and pregnant, right, And.
- 15:44Speaker 1: I'm like, Okay, very melodramatic. Yes, And maybe if you
- 15:49Speaker 1: had said something like that to Ethan, he would have
- 15:51Speaker 1: been heartened, because I think that's where his heart has
- 15:54Speaker 1: always been is in the country. Yes, on a farm.
- 15:59Speaker 1: But I don't believe you. I believe what you were
- 16:02Speaker 1: telling Ethan during the course of your marriage is that
- 16:05Speaker 1: you wanted to go to Saint Lucia. I want to
- 16:07Speaker 1: go to Paris, I want to go to la I
- 16:08Speaker 1: want to travel. I want to have all of these experiences.
- 16:11Speaker 1: And that is what he was trying to accommodate. You
- 16:14Speaker 1: never used the farm or country living as a sort
- 16:17Speaker 1: of goal for your marriage.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Not at all. And it just pisses me off because
- 16:23Speaker 2: she's just going back and forth and like, this is
- 16:25Speaker 2: why I'm saying, she's rewriting history and trying to act
- 16:27Speaker 2: like that's what she's always wanted, is to be back
- 16:30Speaker 2: in the country and she misses that life. I'm like, no,
- 16:32Speaker 2: you don't. You're running away from it. Like just be
- 16:35Speaker 2: real with yourself and real with everybody else, and like
- 16:38Speaker 2: real even with Ethan, and be like, I don't love
- 16:41Speaker 2: you anymore, man, I want to fuck somebody else. Fair.
- 16:44Speaker 2: I mean, that's fucking fine, but like this whole back
- 16:47Speaker 2: and forth and like she's so lost. That's what I see.
- 16:51Speaker 2: And I don't want to get mad at that, because
- 16:53Speaker 2: we all have our own journey and we're all discovering ourselves,
- 16:56Speaker 2: especially when you're young in your twenties, Like you don't
- 16:59Speaker 2: fucking know what you're doing. I'm still in my twenty
- 17:01Speaker 2: high stole on what I'm fucking doing and I'm just
- 17:03Speaker 2: kind of do but I'm still figuring shit out. Like
- 17:06Speaker 2: this is what I'm trying to se The difference.
- 17:07Speaker 1: Between somebody like you and Olivia is that you admit
- 17:09Speaker 1: that you don't know what the fuck you're doing. Yeah,
- 17:11Speaker 1: and you're not putting on all of these airs of
- 17:13Speaker 1: sophistication and illumination and enlightenment exactly, like having all of
- 17:18Speaker 1: the answers or putting on a persona of progressiveness without
- 17:22Speaker 1: see like, I would much rather you show me who
- 17:25Speaker 1: you are through your acts and your deeds instead of
- 17:27Speaker 1: always constantly telling me who you are and what you
- 17:30Speaker 1: believe and what you want, Like, show me and do it,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and then I will believe it. And so there's a
- 17:35Speaker 1: lot of talk coming from Olivia about who she is
- 17:38Speaker 1: what she believes. But I mean, when it comes down
- 17:41Speaker 1: to brass tacks, honey, some hypocritical energy in the ether
- 17:45Speaker 1: that I'm sniffing, yep, just be real, Like, you don't
- 17:48Speaker 1: have to have it all together. Of course, you could
- 17:50Speaker 1: be a twenty three or twenty five year old woman
- 17:52Speaker 1: who doesn't know what the fuck she's doing. That's what
- 17:54Speaker 1: I was doing when I was twenty five years old.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Don't pretend to have all of your shit together or
- 17:59Speaker 1: to have the number of all of these people that
- 18:01Speaker 1: have been in your life exactly and to be able
- 18:03Speaker 1: to sit in some space of higher vantage point and
- 18:06Speaker 1: judge these people. These grown ass adult people like you
- 18:09Speaker 1: really don't have the life or world experience to do that,
- 18:13Speaker 1: So just stop doing that. You can judge them inwardly,
- 18:16Speaker 1: but stop saying it.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Oh yeah, that's my problem with her. And she's still
- 18:20Speaker 2: on Instagram and on TikTok, Like, she just posted a
- 18:22Speaker 2: TikTok recently and it was reposted to Instagram where she
- 18:26Speaker 2: was talking about some weird dream that she had or
- 18:29Speaker 2: that kim Plath had or something like that. Basically, the
- 18:32Speaker 2: whole TikTok was a bunch of bullshit. But in the TikTok,
- 18:35Speaker 2: she said kim Plath groomed her to be Ethan's wife,
- 18:40Speaker 2: so she was essentially manipulated and groomed to be in
- 18:43Speaker 2: this family that she didn't want to be in. It
- 18:45Speaker 2: all as if she had no agency at all. And
- 18:47Speaker 2: people were like actually calling her out for and being
- 18:50Speaker 2: like you were an adult, Like I know you were
- 18:52Speaker 2: a part of a cult, but you guys were both
- 18:53Speaker 2: part of that. Ethan grew up the same way you did.
- 18:56Speaker 2: Like why don't you take ownership for like your choice
- 19:00Speaker 2: in the matter. She's just acting like I don't know
- 19:03Speaker 2: a victim.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Well, I think the word grooming is incendiary.
- 19:08Speaker 2: It's harsh.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a very harsh word. I mean, I think
- 19:11Speaker 1: the spirit of what she's saying, like that Kim mentored
- 19:15Speaker 1: her and guided her into a relationship with her son
- 19:18Speaker 1: based on the blueprint that Barry and Kim had for
- 19:21Speaker 1: their kids. I think that's probably valid. I'd like to
- 19:24Speaker 1: hear more of that. But when you use a term
- 19:26Speaker 1: like grooming, than you've lost me. Now you're just trying
- 19:29Speaker 1: to go you're on your campaign again, Olivia, Ye, trying
- 19:32Speaker 1: to malign these people, which I don't think is fair well.
- 19:35Speaker 2: And then I'm like, where's the accountability for your parents
- 19:38Speaker 2: in the matter too, Like they were doing the same thing.
- 19:40Speaker 2: Like if you're saying Kim Plath groomed you, so did
- 19:42Speaker 2: your parents, then they groomed you to be a part
- 19:45Speaker 2: of this lifestyle, to be a good wife and to
- 19:47Speaker 2: be Evan Plath's wife as well. So like, why can't
- 19:51Speaker 2: we call both sides out? Why is it just the
- 19:53Speaker 2: Plaths are such evil? Fucking didn't she.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Make an instagram? I thought you sent me an instagram
- 19:58Speaker 1: where she was talking about her fon recently, something about
- 20:01Speaker 1: daddy issues, And I actually watched it, and let me
- 20:04Speaker 1: just say, I really liked her point because she was
- 20:07Speaker 1: objecting to the term daddy issues, and she's like, my
- 20:11Speaker 1: father was the one with the issue. My father was
- 20:14Speaker 1: the one who didn't parent me gently. My father was
- 20:16Speaker 1: the one who was abusive, although she didn't say it outright,
- 20:18Speaker 1: but she wink winked at the camera as if to
- 20:21Speaker 1: say her father was abusive, and she's like, so, don't
- 20:23Speaker 1: visit my residue from my father on me and call
- 20:27Speaker 1: it daddy issues. No, I'm just dealing with this shit
- 20:29Speaker 1: that was left in the wake of his issues, which
- 20:32Speaker 1: I support, And I really liked the way she framed that.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So it seemed to me she was calling out her
- 20:39Speaker 1: pop and calling out her family a little bit, but
- 20:42Speaker 1: in terms of like how much, like she's definitely goes
- 20:44Speaker 1: in on the Plaths way more. Yeah, but then again
- 20:47Speaker 1: they're the ones with a show.
- 20:48Speaker 2: I guess, But still, like, why aren't we calling out
- 20:51Speaker 2: your family though, Like get to the root of your issues,
- 20:55Speaker 2: which is the fact that you're unhappy with your family,
- 20:57Speaker 2: which Ethan calls out later in the episodes.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Did he addressed that?
- 21:00Speaker 2: And that's based Like, that's so true, that's where all
- 21:02Speaker 2: of it lies for her. But that's that's what's frustrating
- 21:05Speaker 2: for me, is like she just acts like the Plaths
- 21:07Speaker 2: are like so terrible and I'm like, they're probably not
- 21:10Speaker 2: that bad. I don't know, I mean assume me. I
- 21:13Speaker 2: just I don't think that they're as bad as like
- 21:15Speaker 2: probably her family. I think her family was worse because
- 21:18Speaker 2: in that video on Instagram, she didn't outright like call
- 21:21Speaker 2: out her family, but in the comments she said that
- 21:24Speaker 2: her dad was like abusive and hit her and her
- 21:27Speaker 2: siblings and stuff like that. That was it. It's like
- 21:29Speaker 2: a very minor thing that she says, but then talks
- 21:31Speaker 2: about kim Plath grooming her, and it's like, Okay, where's
- 21:34Speaker 2: the balance here.
- 21:35Speaker 1: Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of that. Well,
- 21:38Speaker 1: maybe she's not ready yet to deal with those parts
- 21:42Speaker 1: of her that have been so deeply wounded by her
- 21:45Speaker 1: father and her mother and her childhood. And what Ethan
- 21:48Speaker 1: was saying, I think we have said a number of
- 21:50Speaker 1: times is that she's using Ethan and she's using the
- 21:53Speaker 1: Plaths as some sort of an effigy or a symbol
- 21:56Speaker 1: upon which she's trying to exorcize all of this stuff
- 22:00Speaker 1: out of her being. Yes, she's doing it the wrong way,
- 22:02Speaker 1: but that's what she's trying to do, which I in
- 22:06Speaker 1: tremendous support of she's just doing it in a way
- 22:09Speaker 1: that vilifies all these people. Yes, I think Kim and
- 22:13Speaker 1: Barry deserve some of that vilifying personally, because while Ethan
- 22:17Speaker 1: grew up the same way as Olivia, Kim didn't. I
- 22:20Speaker 1: don't think Barry did. I don't think they grew up
- 22:22Speaker 1: in fundamentalism. I think they adopted that at some point
- 22:25Speaker 1: when they were adults and then brought their kids into that.
- 22:27Speaker 1: So they deserve a lot of that blame in my opinion.
- 22:30Speaker 2: Like, what do you mean blame like the.
- 22:32Speaker 1: Well, like the blame that she's pointing in their.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Direction about the religious aspects, about.
- 22:36Speaker 1: The religious aspect and the way that they might have
- 22:39Speaker 1: guided her into this lifestyle, the way that they said
- 22:42Speaker 1: she had demons living in her, the way that they
- 22:44Speaker 1: judged her, and I'm sure that they did the way
- 22:46Speaker 1: that they were probably very hard on her in the
- 22:49Speaker 1: beginning of that marriage. I believe that. Yeah, And so
- 22:51Speaker 1: they deserve to be villified, and she has every right
- 22:54Speaker 1: to call them out. But it's like, I like your point,
- 22:59Speaker 1: which is okay, but what about the stuff that is
- 23:02Speaker 1: auto generated within you that's causing you to act out
- 23:06Speaker 1: in all these other ways that that are going to
- 23:08Speaker 1: affect your life, Like, are we truly looking at that
- 23:10Speaker 1: as well? Is she in therapy? I know she talks
- 23:13Speaker 1: about therapy. I know that there was one season I
- 23:15Speaker 1: think three, season three, Yeah, where she wanted Ethan to
- 23:18Speaker 1: go to therapy because she was going to therapy. But
- 23:21Speaker 1: I'm wondering if she's still in therapy. I hope that
- 23:24Speaker 1: she is, because I think she has a lot that
- 23:27Speaker 1: she needs to excavate.
- 23:28Speaker 2: Oh, I agree one hundred percent, and like she's a
- 23:30Speaker 2: work in progress. But that's the thing that's frustrating for
- 23:33Speaker 2: me is that she, like we've said, like she's just
- 23:35Speaker 2: not real about what the real issues are, Like she's
- 23:39Speaker 2: quick to blame everyone else, but not like your own family,
- 23:44Speaker 2: not like these other people that are issues like the problem.
- 23:48Speaker 2: It's like we said a couple of weeks ago when
- 23:50Speaker 2: we were talking about like Ethan her she was saying
- 23:53Speaker 2: that Ethan's like homophobic or whatever. I'm like, why don't
- 23:56Speaker 2: you call out your brother though too, rit like that
- 23:58Speaker 2: you had on the season just prior to this, Like
- 24:01Speaker 2: he's also a huge raging homophobe, like had it in
- 24:04Speaker 2: his Instagram bio he's out.
- 24:07Speaker 1: I mean, I mean, yeah, we can into it a
- 24:10Speaker 1: few things about Ethan, but he's never outright said the
- 24:12Speaker 1: things that Nathan has.
- 24:13Speaker 2: Exactly, but you're not calling That's my problem with her
- 24:16Speaker 2: is like she's so quick to villainize all of the
- 24:19Speaker 2: Plaths because they hurt her. That's the issue there, Like
- 24:24Speaker 2: you can be hurt and you can talk about your struggles,
- 24:26Speaker 2: like me as an example, Like I've have problems with
- 24:29Speaker 2: my own family, right, but I'm not going to sit
- 24:31Speaker 2: there and say that they're horrible, awful people because they're
- 24:34Speaker 2: my family still, even though they did terrible things, Like
- 24:38Speaker 2: I don't know, but maybe that's just my own perspective,
- 24:40Speaker 2: Like I know, it's probably not the same for everybody.
- 24:43Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 24:43Speaker 1: I really respect that point though, about Nathan, because not
- 24:46Speaker 1: only has she not called out her brother, but she
- 24:48Speaker 1: platformed him on the show. She brought him up on
- 24:50Speaker 1: the show. She must have known what his proclivities and
- 24:52Speaker 1: his beliefs were, yes, at that time, and then he's
- 24:54Speaker 1: gone on to tell us all what he actually believes,
- 24:57Speaker 1: and like, you haven't spoken out against it, So why
- 24:59Speaker 1: are you so selective in your progressiveness exactly? Seems like
- 25:03Speaker 1: a problem, yep, I think.
- 25:07Speaker 2: And then moving on, we have Ethan and the little
- 25:09Speaker 2: girls at the farm. I loved this scene me too,
- 25:13Speaker 2: and I want more of this instead of the sex
- 25:16Speaker 2: education we get into later.
- 25:17Speaker 1: My god checking under the hood girl. I will get
- 25:21Speaker 1: there when we get there. So Ethan sits down with
- 25:24Speaker 1: the three littles, which is Amber, Mercy, and Cassia, and
- 25:29Speaker 1: he kind of wants to have a conversation or just
- 25:31Speaker 1: at least open the floor for some space around a
- 25:34Speaker 1: conversation concerning his divorce from Olivia, like do the girls
- 25:38Speaker 1: know and do they have any questions? And so he
- 25:41Speaker 1: does that and they don't really have any questions, and
- 25:43Speaker 1: Amber says something like, well, I really just want to
- 25:46Speaker 1: be here for him and listen. And she is so beautiful.
- 25:50Speaker 1: I know all these girls are, but Amber's eyes, I
- 25:53Speaker 1: know her sapphire blue eyes are my gods, so gorgeous, yes,
- 25:57Speaker 1: and also so compassionate toward her older brother. But it's
- 26:00Speaker 1: in this scene that we have Ethan also talking to
- 26:04Speaker 1: the camera directly about some of the things that happened
- 26:07Speaker 1: between him and Olivia.
- 26:09Speaker 2: Yeah, he said, he's been reflecting a lot about what
- 26:11Speaker 2: things went wrong between them and how he could have
- 26:14Speaker 2: fixed things, how he can hopefully fix things and his
- 26:17Speaker 2: next relationships and things like that, and then we flash
- 26:20Speaker 2: back to last season's infamous comment that he made about
- 26:25Speaker 2: how Olivia doesn't cook him through square meals a day
- 26:27Speaker 2: and how that's the key to a man's heart and
- 26:30Speaker 2: women have their place in society and they have their
- 26:33Speaker 2: specific roles, and so he's clarifying he never said that. Well,
- 26:37Speaker 2: he said they do have specific.
- 26:38Speaker 1: Roles, yes, but not in society right right, But because
- 26:42Speaker 1: this year he's saying I didn't mean all women exactly,
- 26:45Speaker 1: so he's not talking about society.
- 26:46Speaker 2: Yeah, this is so. Yeah, he's clarifying his comments from
- 26:50Speaker 2: last year, saying I don't mean all women should be
- 26:52Speaker 2: in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant. Basically, he's just like,
- 26:55Speaker 2: I felt like I was most loved when Olivia was
- 26:59Speaker 2: cooking meals for me all the time, because in the
- 27:01Speaker 2: first few years of our relationship, she cooked all the time,
- 27:04Speaker 2: and that made me feel really special, made me feel
- 27:06Speaker 2: really cared for. And then all of a sudden, she
- 27:09Speaker 2: stopped and didn't cook anything for like two years, and
- 27:14Speaker 2: he was feeling really resentful because Ethan doesn't know how
- 27:17Speaker 2: to fucking communicate or use big boy words, he kind
- 27:20Speaker 2: of let it build up until it kind of blew
- 27:23Speaker 2: up and exploded on this scene from last year, and
- 27:27Speaker 2: he said it in the wrong way. So he's like,
- 27:29Speaker 2: I deeply regret how I said it, and if I
- 27:32Speaker 2: could have said it differently, I would have. So why
- 27:34Speaker 2: did you think about this?
- 27:36Speaker 1: I thought that it was good me too. I thought
- 27:41Speaker 1: that it showed that Ethan was recognizing the things that
- 27:45Speaker 1: he has done wrong, specifically some of the things that
- 27:47Speaker 1: he said that were wrong. I think he was trying
- 27:51Speaker 1: to explain how he receives love. Yeah, and I think
- 27:57Speaker 1: that's valid me too. Now, when you want to take
- 28:00Speaker 1: it down to gender roles and women should be this
- 28:03Speaker 1: and men should be that, well you'll miss me with that.
- 28:06Speaker 1: And I don't subscribe to that. But I can see
- 28:08Speaker 1: how a guy like Ethan, who is only twenty four
- 28:11Speaker 1: or twenty five years old, and who came out of
- 28:13Speaker 1: essentially a cult and who only ever saw that demonstrated
- 28:16Speaker 1: to him, I can see how that would be one
- 28:18Speaker 1: of his beliefs or value systems. Sure, and I need
- 28:21Speaker 1: him to deconstruct that because not all women are going
- 28:23Speaker 1: to do that, and we have a lot of women
- 28:25Speaker 1: out here who are wonderful, and they work or they
- 28:27Speaker 1: don't want to fucking cook, and a lot of men
- 28:28Speaker 1: who cook and such. Yeah, but that's just the noise
- 28:32Speaker 1: of what he said. What he was really saying is
- 28:34Speaker 1: this is how I received her love, and then all
- 28:36Speaker 1: of a sudden I wasn't receiving it in the same way.
- 28:39Speaker 1: And we have to look back at the seasons, because
- 28:41Speaker 1: there was a lot that was also going on at
- 28:43Speaker 1: the time. We've got them going to Joshua's memorial. We
- 28:47Speaker 1: have jamaicing me crazy. We have Olivia putting all of
- 28:50Speaker 1: these expectations on to Ethan, not the least of which
- 28:54Speaker 1: is to change his geography every year and to take
- 28:57Speaker 1: certain stances with his family. So he's got all of
- 28:59Speaker 1: this bullshit happening in his marriage at the same time
- 29:02Speaker 1: as she's withholding now this essential expression of what he
- 29:07Speaker 1: perceives to be her love. So that's what he was
- 29:11Speaker 1: trying to get to.
- 29:12Speaker 2: Uh huh.
- 29:12Speaker 1: But he's dull, he's dune, and he's emotionally I think
- 29:16Speaker 1: he's emotionally intelligent, but he doesn't know how to express it.
- 29:19Speaker 2: He's pretty stunted, And I mean, can you fucking blame him?
- 29:22Speaker 2: He grew up in a household where like his parents
- 29:24Speaker 2: are also not expressive emotionally at all. I mean, Kim
- 29:28Speaker 2: can barely even cry at Joshua's memorial, Like she's so
- 29:32Speaker 2: emotionally repressed. And when you grow up in a family
- 29:36Speaker 2: like that, like you learn that as a child, So
- 29:38Speaker 2: then what do you do with all of these emotions?
- 29:40Speaker 2: Like they just come out and sometimes the worst ways.
- 29:43Speaker 2: Like I'm in therapy for that reason too, because I
- 29:46Speaker 2: grew up with family like that. I don't know how
- 29:48Speaker 2: to communicate my needs. Sometimes I don't know how to
- 29:51Speaker 2: express my emotions in a healthy way. Sometimes sometimes I
- 29:54Speaker 2: have to like really fucking think about it. And then
- 29:59Speaker 2: I saw a college.
- 29:59Speaker 1: Just say something really fast before you get to that.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I want to take that back. I don't think he's
- 30:04Speaker 1: emotionally intelligent. Actually, I think he's emotional. I think he
- 30:09Speaker 1: feels things very deeply. I don't think he's intelligent about
- 30:12Speaker 1: those emotions insofar as he can't separate his emotional pain
- 30:16Speaker 1: body from like his thinking self, Like he doesn't have
- 30:18Speaker 1: the ability that you have to stop hammer time. Okay,
- 30:23Speaker 1: should I really say that? Maybe I should frame that
- 30:25Speaker 1: a little differently, Maybe I should lean on love instead
- 30:28Speaker 1: of vitriol right now, Like he doesn't have the capacity
- 30:30Speaker 1: the intelligence to regulate the emotions. He's got the emotions.
- 30:34Speaker 1: It's not that he doesn't feel, it's just that he
- 30:37Speaker 1: doesn't know what to do with them. So I would
- 30:38Speaker 1: say that's emotional unintelligence. So I just want to take
- 30:41Speaker 1: that back. That's my opinion.
- 30:42Speaker 2: I mean that's fair. But like, also from my perspective,
- 30:45Speaker 2: it took me seven years to learn how to do this,
- 30:49Speaker 2: Like I still struggle with that. I still have things
- 30:51Speaker 2: where they're like automatic responses because it's my programming. So
- 30:55Speaker 2: like it takes a while to learn how to actually
- 30:58Speaker 2: be emotionally intelligent. Yeah, so he's got a long way
- 31:01Speaker 2: ahead of him, and if he's not wanting to go
- 31:03Speaker 2: to therapy, then it's an even longer way.
- 31:05Speaker 1: One hundred percent.
- 31:06Speaker 2: But I read this comment on Reddit that I wanted
- 31:08Speaker 2: to bring up about this because I thought this was
- 31:10Speaker 2: like Chef's kiss perfectly said, but it came from user
- 31:15Speaker 2: Majestic Scarcity five point forty weird take from me. But
- 31:20Speaker 2: Ethan's love language seemed to be acts of service and
- 31:23Speaker 2: Olivia's seemed to be words of affirmation and quality time.
- 31:27Speaker 2: But Ethan wasn't good at community communicating, and Olivia showed
- 31:31Speaker 2: her love by words and quality time, so neither were
- 31:34Speaker 2: having their needs met. Cooking and doing other wifely duties
- 31:38Speaker 2: was more than likely considered an act of love to him,
- 31:41Speaker 2: which I'm sure is how he is from how he
- 31:44Speaker 2: was raised, which is why I think that was really
- 31:46Speaker 2: hard focus. Towards the end of their relationship, Olivia was
- 31:50Speaker 2: constantly focused on talking and spending time with Ethan to
- 31:52Speaker 2: understand him, but she failed to see that this would
- 31:56Speaker 2: not fill his love meter the way it would fill hers.
- 32:00Speaker 2: Ethan sucked at communicating and would often take off on
- 32:02Speaker 2: trips or go on places to do things without telling her,
- 32:06Speaker 2: so he also failed to see that that wasn't filling
- 32:08Speaker 2: her cup either until it was too late. Both failed
- 32:11Speaker 2: to see what the other really meant. It wasn't about
- 32:14Speaker 2: the cooking or the working on cars. It was about
- 32:17Speaker 2: their cups not being filled on either side of the aisle.
- 32:20Speaker 1: Yes, oh my gosh, so well put.
- 32:22Speaker 2: I thought that was so great.
- 32:23Speaker 1: That's exactly That's exactly what I'm trying to say. That's
- 32:26Speaker 1: his love language. Yes, how he received her love and
- 32:29Speaker 1: she's or whoever that is is exactly right. Olivia needed communication.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Olivia needed that quality time. Yeah, you know, every single
- 32:37Speaker 1: time you run out to your vehicle and you spend
- 32:39Speaker 1: eight hours under the hood and you don't talk to me,
- 32:41Speaker 1: or you take these trips to go fix a car
- 32:43Speaker 1: in kro while I'm over here in Tampa somewhere, and
- 32:46Speaker 1: I don't hear from you, like you are not giving
- 32:49Speaker 1: me love in a way that I can receive. So
- 32:51Speaker 1: they were just missing each other two ships in the night.
- 32:53Speaker 1: Be it dressed, oh for sure.
- 32:54Speaker 2: And I wonder if she didn't like communicate to him
- 32:57Speaker 2: why she didn't want to cook anymore either, Like if
- 32:59Speaker 2: she was, Look, it's not because I don't love you.
- 33:01Speaker 2: I don't feel like fucking cooking anymore. I still care
- 33:04Speaker 2: about you, like we can still do other things or whatever.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Like I wonder if she even had the capacity to
- 33:09Speaker 2: say that, because she's going through her deconstruction phase as well,
- 33:12Speaker 2: so she's dealing with a lot of emotions and so
- 33:15Speaker 2: she's trying to figure it out all at the same
- 33:17Speaker 2: time as figuring out their marriage. So they had too
- 33:20Speaker 2: much going on.
- 33:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and they didn't have the tools and the resources
- 33:24Speaker 1: to know how to navigate their marriage no way here
- 33:27Speaker 1: they keep talking about neither of them did.
- 33:28Speaker 2: No, not at all, So it's really sad. But I
- 33:30Speaker 2: thought it was really cool that Ethan showed that level
- 33:34Speaker 2: of self reflection after that. I think that's like important.
- 33:37Speaker 2: A lot of people give Ethan a lot of hate
- 33:39Speaker 2: for being a big bit of a dummy, and he
- 33:42Speaker 2: is totally, but I think that this is like a
- 33:45Speaker 2: good step in a good direction. Yes, just this amount
- 33:49Speaker 2: of self reflection. And then he also calls Olivia out
- 33:52Speaker 2: for her negativity and said that that a lot of
- 33:55Speaker 2: that stemmed from her issues with her family, which is great,
- 34:00Speaker 2: so true.
- 34:00Speaker 1: Yeah, and then they show that picture of Lydia, Grace,
- 34:03Speaker 1: and Olivia in the family structure with the other children,
- 34:08Speaker 1: and I think Ethan is hitting on some truths. I
- 34:12Speaker 1: wonder what Olivia thinks watching that back, like if she
- 34:15Speaker 1: can actually cogitate on that, think about it and receive that,
- 34:19Speaker 1: because I think he's spot on. But I think because
- 34:21Speaker 1: it's coming from Ethan, she probably won't receive that.
- 34:25Speaker 2: Oh No, I think it would trigger her. I think
- 34:27Speaker 2: she'd be like, how dare you like call out my family,
- 34:29Speaker 2: Like I'm dealing with that on my own, Like she
- 34:31Speaker 2: can't make the connections right now, and that's fine, Like, yeah,
- 34:36Speaker 2: everybody's figuring their shit out, but I don't think she's
- 34:38Speaker 2: making the connections.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Well, I mean, I don't know what's really happening, but
- 34:41Speaker 1: I have hope for her. And just as Ethan is
- 34:45Speaker 1: coming into some awareness about his own behavior and about
- 34:48Speaker 1: his beliefs and his values, I think she is too,
- 34:50Speaker 1: in a legitimate and authentic way. While a lot of
- 34:54Speaker 1: what I see from her feels performative and put on, like,
- 34:57Speaker 1: I do think there's a process that's happening beneath the
- 35:00Speaker 1: surface that is very important and that I think she's undertaking.
- 35:05Speaker 1: And so she's also coming into different awarenesses, just in
- 35:08Speaker 1: a different way maybe.
- 35:09Speaker 2: But it's toxic though. Some the way that she's coming
- 35:12Speaker 2: out about it is toxic, and that's like the issues,
- 35:15Speaker 2: like you have to be able to recognize when you're.
- 35:17Speaker 1: Shit, it is toxic, Beatrice, Like a lot of it
- 35:20Speaker 1: is not toxic and is presented with that therapized TikTok speak,
- 35:26Speaker 1: which none of us like and or believe. And so
- 35:29Speaker 1: you were telling me Vio WhatsApp that she just sounds
- 35:32Speaker 1: like a lot of these TikTok yes inspo girlies who
- 35:36Speaker 1: are just constantly speaking in this way about these types
- 35:38Speaker 1: of issues, specifically fundamentalist issues. Yea, So she's coming across
- 35:42Speaker 1: a lot like that. But I think even in the
- 35:45Speaker 1: midst of that, she's trying to find her way, I hope.
- 35:47Speaker 2: So.
- 35:48Speaker 1: I think along the way, we put on the clothes
- 35:51Speaker 1: of a lot of different types of awareness, that we
- 35:53Speaker 1: try it on, and then we take it off and
- 35:55Speaker 1: we put something else on. And I think we have
- 35:57Speaker 1: to allow her her youth and her process here. And
- 36:00Speaker 1: although I think she's gonna cringe when she's forty looking
- 36:02Speaker 1: back at some of the things that she's saying and doing,
- 36:05Speaker 1: as hopefully Ethan will as well, I think that right
- 36:08Speaker 1: now where she is, I think she's pretty good. I
- 36:10Speaker 1: think she's okay. I think she's okay.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Yeah, that's great. I just don't want to see her
- 36:17Speaker 2: like stuff.
- 36:18Speaker 1: Ever again on my television.
- 36:20Speaker 2: I don't care about you milking cows or learning about sex.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Do you want to just get to that?
- 36:26Speaker 1: Yeah, let's just get there.
- 36:27Speaker 2: So who cares about Mariah and who cares about my gun?
- 36:29Speaker 1: I don't care about Mariah, Well, okay, I do care
- 36:32Speaker 1: about it. I just Mariah, you got to give me
- 36:34Speaker 1: something more than that tight little bun and your banana
- 36:37Speaker 1: blaze their honeymoon Riah. I mean, if you're gonna reference
- 36:40Speaker 1: some mysterious ghost of a man, sit down on that
- 36:44Speaker 1: chair to that camera and talk to me about it.
- 36:46Speaker 1: If you want me to be interested and invested in
- 36:49Speaker 1: your life and want me to continue to want you
- 36:51Speaker 1: on my television, then you're gonna have to talk to me,
- 36:53Speaker 1: not alluding to who this person is, sitting down with
- 36:56Speaker 1: some Mirando production plant and talking about it in these
- 37:00Speaker 1: like etheric sort of amorphous ways, like talk to us
- 37:04Speaker 1: about it or else go away, And all you ever
- 37:07Speaker 1: do is cry, girl, you're so fucking morouse. It's so
- 37:11Speaker 1: you're so maudlin, the tears of a clown bitch. Why
- 37:14Speaker 1: do you need to stop? Get out? You should travel,
- 37:17Speaker 1: just go like Olivia, Go to Saint Lucia, go to Paris,
- 37:19Speaker 1: go meet some people, eat some different food. Honey, you're
- 37:22Speaker 1: bringing me down, I know.
- 37:24Speaker 2: And can we still? Can we stop talking about this
- 37:27Speaker 2: mysterious heartbreak as if we don't know that he cheated
- 37:29Speaker 2: on you, like that's what we're referring to, right.
- 37:31Speaker 1: I just want to know if he's married, was he
- 37:33Speaker 1: married the entire time, because my god, to be Barry
- 37:35Speaker 1: saying that he's the most duplicitest person he's ever met
- 37:38Speaker 1: in his life. Like so okay, like Max cheated, but
- 37:41Speaker 1: that wasn't so groundbreaking that we couldn't believe it. Like
- 37:44Speaker 1: I could believe that, And if Mariah dated some other
- 37:47Speaker 1: guy and he cheated, I could also believe that. But
- 37:49Speaker 1: if he's the most duplicitest person that Barry ever met,
- 37:53Speaker 1: why was he married?
- 37:54Speaker 2: Oh my god, that'd be so good. Well, allegedly he's
- 37:57Speaker 2: supposed to come in one of these seasons episodes.
- 38:00Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the final Like that's not supposed.
- 38:02Speaker 2: To be there, like her concert or something. Oh my god,
- 38:06Speaker 2: I would.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Care more though, if you talked more about it, like
- 38:09Speaker 1: I'm just sick of your I'm sick of your talking heads. Yes,
- 38:11Speaker 1: I'm sick of it.
- 38:12Speaker 2: I mean character that's like acting like they have it altogether.
- 38:17Speaker 2: I'm like, girl, you're five years old.
- 38:19Speaker 1: This girl returned to her religion, like the dog returns
- 38:24Speaker 1: to his barf honey, which comes from the Bible. That's
- 38:27Speaker 1: a scripture from the Bible. Comes back to the bar
- 38:29Speaker 1: and is back at the trough and is sucking at
- 38:33Speaker 1: the teet of religion again and fundamentalism. Now that's interesting
- 38:35Speaker 1: for me. Can we talk a little bit more about that.
- 38:37Speaker 1: I mean, I saw you get baptized and I cringed
- 38:39Speaker 1: with everybody else because we have a conversation. God, we
- 38:42Speaker 1: need to produce these shows, we really do. I'm watching
- 38:45Speaker 1: currently The Braxtons. Oh yeah, I think on we TV,
- 38:48Speaker 1: and I've watched every season of The Braxton Family Values,
- 38:52Speaker 1: and in four episodes, they've had a family grief counseling.
- 38:58Speaker 1: We've had confrontations in the sisterhood. We've had deep conversations
- 39:02Speaker 1: about death and dying and the people left behind. And
- 39:05Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's the happiest type of content, but
- 39:08Speaker 1: it feels real. Not not all of it's real. Some
- 39:11Speaker 1: of it's not real, but there's enough there that's real
- 39:13Speaker 1: that I am interested and I want to continue to watch.
- 39:16Speaker 1: This is exactly what Plaithfill is losing.
- 39:19Speaker 2: Oh yeah, And this is why we love this show
- 39:22Speaker 2: is because it was like one of the last shows
- 39:25Speaker 2: on TLC pretty much that was like real besides Sister Wives, Like,
- 39:30Speaker 2: we don't really have a lot of real TLC stuff,
- 39:33Speaker 2: like we have ninety Day Fiance, but it's like the
- 39:35Speaker 2: same shit.
- 39:36Speaker 1: It's only the first Season's that's good because after that
- 39:39Speaker 1: they become aware AI, they become aware of the cameras
- 39:43Speaker 1: and now they're producing themselves. Yeah, it's only like the
- 39:45Speaker 1: first season of the Other Way or before the ninety Days,
- 39:49Speaker 1: and then it all.
- 39:49Speaker 2: Sucks and then it's trash. Yeah, it's just a bunch
- 39:52Speaker 2: of cloud gobblins or the Last Resort, Like we need
- 39:54Speaker 2: more of that. God, I cannot wait, Gino, when Jasminder
- 39:56Speaker 2: is supposed to be on that I know and I
- 39:58Speaker 2: cannot wait. Oh God, we're gonna have to.
- 40:00Speaker 1: Let's get to the sex party.
- 40:02Speaker 2: Like why I've been avoiding it because I'm just cringing
- 40:05Speaker 2: so hard.
- 40:06Speaker 1: Why do we need a sex education workshop when we're
- 40:10Speaker 1: all in our twenties, And why are we recycling these dweebs?
- 40:16Speaker 2: Like can we just explore each other's bodies like God intended,
- 40:20Speaker 2: Like that's the natural way of learning about sex. Why
- 40:22Speaker 2: don't we have to have some sex educator with the
- 40:24Speaker 2: fucking vulva pillow and dildo's teaching these young kids who
- 40:28Speaker 2: don't want to be there.
- 40:29Speaker 1: No, they're just getting their five hundred dollars a day
- 40:32Speaker 1: paycheck from TLC. They're pretending they're friends with Olivia, and
- 40:36Speaker 1: we're having these awkward conversations simply to facilitate Olivia saying
- 40:41Speaker 1: that she doesn't know about sex and that she has
- 40:43Speaker 1: shame around sex and that she wasn't able to talk
- 40:47Speaker 1: to Ethan about sex because he didn't want to do
- 40:49Speaker 1: the things that she wanted to do. And the whole
- 40:51Speaker 1: thing is just to give her another opportunity to slam Ethan, yes,
- 40:55Speaker 1: which she also did on her Instagram by saying he
- 40:58Speaker 1: never made her calm, and like nobody needs to know that.
- 41:01Speaker 2: No, nobody, It is so, And like again I say,
- 41:05Speaker 2: are we ignoring that Ethan grew up the same fucking
- 41:08Speaker 2: way that you did? Like why aren't we talking about
- 41:10Speaker 2: how he didn't know anything about sex either? He probably
- 41:13Speaker 2: didn't know how to bang you good because he came
- 41:15Speaker 2: in one second, because he's a virgin and you got
- 41:18Speaker 2: married when you guys were virgins, allegedly even though you
- 41:21Speaker 2: guys were blowing each other in the church talking about it,
- 41:23Speaker 2: like what is it here? You don't know about sex?
- 41:26Speaker 2: Or like you know about some of it? I don't know,
- 41:28Speaker 2: And like we can have an interesting conversation about purity
- 41:31Speaker 2: culture and like how fundamentalist religion I wish them men
- 41:35Speaker 2: Like that's interesting to me too, but like, again, it's
- 41:39Speaker 2: just to shit on Ethan. And did you notice she
- 41:44Speaker 2: wanted to do this sex party because this long distance
- 41:47Speaker 2: boyfriend that she's talking to says that sex is very
- 41:50Speaker 2: important to him, he very much enjoys it, and he's
- 41:53Speaker 2: a very experienced lithario, And so she wants to not
- 41:58Speaker 2: look stupid and not be embarrassed in front of somebody
- 42:01Speaker 2: so experienced. So like, that's what this whole sex thing
- 42:05Speaker 2: was about.
- 42:05Speaker 1: But is that for real or is that just her
- 42:08Speaker 1: way to get a message out to Ethan that she's
- 42:10Speaker 1: with a real lothario that she's like it's hard to
- 42:14Speaker 1: really parse through the things that she says to find
- 42:16Speaker 1: out what's true. Yeah, but maybe she did meet a
- 42:20Speaker 1: man who is very sexually adventurous and likes to express
- 42:25Speaker 1: himself through his sexuality. That's fantastic. And when you find
- 42:29Speaker 1: yourself a good lover, honey, it does change your.
- 42:31Speaker 2: Whole world, I'm sure, But.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I don't know. I think she's not a reliable narrator,
- 42:39Speaker 1: and this whole thing felt like a setup. I didn't
- 42:43Speaker 1: enjoy it because I'm in my thirties and I don't
- 42:45Speaker 1: need to know about CLITORI I don't need to know
- 42:48Speaker 1: about the vulva and how it opens and stuff. I
- 42:51Speaker 1: don't want to think about those weird dudes in that
- 42:54Speaker 1: room looking at the vulva pillow.
- 42:56Speaker 2: It was so bad, Like why did we have kupchi again?
- 43:00Speaker 1: I don't know. He doesn't have a girlfriend. Has he
- 43:03Speaker 1: ever seen of all? I don't know.
- 43:05Speaker 2: They were totally paid actors. Him and the other day.
- 43:07Speaker 2: Of course, I don't know what his name was.
- 43:09Speaker 1: This is Lydia Grace. What are you doing? She's weird.
- 43:12Speaker 1: She's weird to me, like her vibes.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Are off because I don't think her and Olivia like
- 43:17Speaker 2: each other at all. I don't think their friend. No.
- 43:19Speaker 1: I think she's getting paid to have her happy ass
- 43:22Speaker 1: from Arizona to La to film these weird scenes with
- 43:26Speaker 1: wigs and cows and volva pillows.
- 43:29Speaker 2: I don't understand it well. And speaking of Olivia and
- 43:32Speaker 2: Lydia Grace, Olivia made a huge post on Instagram like
- 43:36Speaker 2: just a couple days ago where she revealed the face
- 43:39Speaker 2: of her infamous long distance boyfriend and he's.
- 43:43Speaker 1: Well you're a lesbianic you're not attracted to men, So
- 43:45Speaker 1: would you really know? I mean, maybe you do. I'm
- 43:47Speaker 1: sure lesbians can identify an attractive man.
- 43:50Speaker 2: I can definitely look at a man and be like, oh, yeah,
- 43:52Speaker 2: I can see why women want to fun.
- 43:54Speaker 1: But this guy, No, you didn't feel it. He didn't
- 43:59Speaker 1: see it. Mayonnaise mayonnaise, yeah, bland mayonnaise.
- 44:03Speaker 2: He looked like a week, like a total Like you're
- 44:07Speaker 2: the lothario that she's so strung.
- 44:09Speaker 1: I'm like, Olivia, you are such a ten for such
- 44:14Speaker 1: a knock out of its appearance. Like maybe he's a
- 44:17Speaker 1: wonderful person and maybe there's a lot of other complimentary,
- 44:21Speaker 1: supplemental things that he brings to the table. But Olivia,
- 44:24Speaker 1: do you know how beautiful you are? Why are you
- 44:26Speaker 1: hanging out with dorks?
- 44:28Speaker 2: I mean, that's what I don't understand, but I'm being judgy.
- 44:31Speaker 2: But anyway, so a lot apologt to this. She posts
- 44:33Speaker 2: this twenty picture thing right Lydia Grace is not in
- 44:37Speaker 2: a single one, and Lydia Grace comments on it and
- 44:39Speaker 2: is like, really, so Roy her new boyfriend's name Roy? Okay, okay,
- 44:44Speaker 2: who names a kid Roy?
- 44:45Speaker 1: What's the name of my rumba.
- 44:47Speaker 2: Yea, but she's like Roy makes the cut and I
- 44:52Speaker 2: don't wait.
- 44:54Speaker 1: Olivia's boyfriend's name Roy. Yes, Oh, somebody helped me. Ye,
- 44:58Speaker 1: somebody give me some oxygen.
- 45:00Speaker 2: This twenty five year old guy is named Roy, and
- 45:03Speaker 2: he doesn't look like a like. When I picture a Roy,
- 45:06Speaker 2: I picture like.
- 45:07Speaker 1: A rugged Yeah.
- 45:08Speaker 2: Man, sure he's in a truck. This guy wan like yeah,
- 45:12Speaker 2: probably has never picked up a car wrench in his life,
- 45:15Speaker 2: doesn't know how to do anything.
- 45:16Speaker 1: No, no offense.
- 45:17Speaker 2: I'm being so fu.
- 45:18Speaker 1: You are being bad. I mean so, but I mean
- 45:21Speaker 1: I just when you compare and contrast with Olivia, who
- 45:24Speaker 1: is like afrodite.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Me know what I'm saying.
- 45:27Speaker 1: But I mean, honey, go get your do it. I mean,
- 45:29Speaker 1: if you love it, that's great.
- 45:31Speaker 2: Maybe he's got a good dick. Maybe, I mean, I.
- 45:34Speaker 1: Mean, a good dick covers a multitude of sins. I know,
- 45:37Speaker 1: I'm just saying.
- 45:38Speaker 2: You tell me every time, Well it's true, impotent man,
- 45:40Speaker 2: if you know you know? Okay, patrons, Oh no, don't
- 45:45Speaker 2: go there.
- 45:46Speaker 1: Don't get me talking now. But that was it, right.
- 45:49Speaker 1: We had to suffer through that, and we had some
- 45:52Speaker 1: previews for next week.
- 45:54Speaker 2: Yeah, which was the Plath family is all going to
- 45:56Speaker 2: be under one roof and some Airbnb or whatever for
- 46:00Speaker 2: Mariah's music video or something, or they're gonna do some
- 46:03Speaker 2: Plath music video. I don't fucking know, but I'm excited
- 46:06Speaker 2: to see. Okay, Olivia doing speed dating. Nobody cares. Why
- 46:12Speaker 2: are we doing happening? Why are we speed dating? If
- 46:15Speaker 2: you're already dating a guy long distance?
- 46:17Speaker 1: Just send her to therapy. I'll watch that.
- 46:19Speaker 2: I would totally watch that with doctor Orna.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Yeah, oh my god. Yes.
- 46:25Speaker 2: And then we also have Barry talking about Maria's X. Right,
- 46:28Speaker 2: but I'm like, I want to see this guy.
- 46:30Speaker 1: Is he We're not going to see him.
- 46:33Speaker 2: I think we're going to see him. I think he's
- 46:34Speaker 2: gonna appear.
- 46:34Speaker 1: I don't think we're gonna see him. I think we're
- 46:36Speaker 1: gonna see him from the back. We're not going to
- 46:37Speaker 1: see him.
- 46:38Speaker 2: What because he's married.
- 46:40Speaker 1: Probably he's gonna with his two kids.
- 46:44Speaker 2: Well, maybe it's like a Randall Emmett situation.
- 46:46Speaker 1: Oh my god, maybe, my god, please, I can't wait. Yeah,
- 46:50Speaker 1: but I think the season is almost over, and actually, frankly,
- 46:52Speaker 1: I'm ready for it.
- 46:53Speaker 2: I'm fine with that because Sister Wives Girls coming out
- 46:56Speaker 2: next week?
- 46:57Speaker 1: And then are we gonna start ninety Day Fiance before
- 47:00Speaker 1: the ninety Days?
- 47:00Speaker 2: Is that coming out? Yeah?
- 47:01Speaker 1: No, I think it came out started this Sunday. Oh yeah, okay,
- 47:04Speaker 1: I think we've got a blind Nigerian who is going
- 47:08Speaker 1: to marry some chick who believes in aliens and who's
- 47:11Speaker 1: completely wiggedy whack. We've got somebody who's I think a
- 47:14Speaker 1: paraplegic and who's having a different experience from the rest
- 47:16Speaker 1: of us. Oh, and I just yeah, it looks pretty interesting. Okay,
- 47:20Speaker 1: we would like it. We should get into it.
- 47:21Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I like before the ninety days.
- 47:23Speaker 1: Okay, so maybe after Welcome to Platform, we will have
- 47:26Speaker 1: sister wives and we will have before the ninety Days
- 47:29Speaker 1: on the general pot, Yes, you're welcome, You're welcome. We
- 47:32Speaker 1: do so much work for you, and you guys haven't
- 47:34Speaker 1: even checked out our Patreon. I mean, all right, do
- 47:38Speaker 1: we want to make a totally different episode for Unexpected
- 47:41Speaker 1: or do you just want to speed run Unspected? All right,
- 47:43Speaker 1: We're going to stay here and talk Unexpected.
- 47:45Speaker 2: Let's just get it done.
- 47:47Speaker 1: Because the season finale was last week, the week that
- 47:50Speaker 1: I was sick. I'm sorry.
- 47:52Speaker 2: I mean, it's not like you missed much, no, girl.
- 47:55Speaker 1: So why don't we just cover that and put a
- 47:58Speaker 1: pin in it?
- 47:58Speaker 2: All?
- 47:58Speaker 1: Right?
- 47:59Speaker 2: Well, let's start with Caley with Graham and Becky Honey
- 48:03Speaker 2: and Becky meth Mom, Oh my god.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Girl showing up and eating all that food. I that
- 48:10Speaker 1: was through Madous Honey with her weird messed out boyfriend.
- 48:15Speaker 2: Dude, if somebody did that in my house, I'd be like,
- 48:18Speaker 2: get the fuck out of here.
- 48:20Speaker 1: I mean, Mandy, when are you going to explode? She
- 48:22Speaker 1: sat there seething the entire time. I'm jumping as.
- 48:25Speaker 2: I couldn't believe that. So, Kaylee's home from the hospital.
- 48:28Speaker 2: She was in the hospital for like a week or
- 48:29Speaker 2: whatever because she had an emergency sea section, and Graham
- 48:34Speaker 2: was supposed to stay a whole week at their house
- 48:37Speaker 2: to help Kaylee with the baby and be a dad
- 48:40Speaker 2: or whatever. He like didn't want to change diapers. He's
- 48:43Speaker 2: like making Kaylee's friend change a diaper, which I'm just
- 48:47Speaker 2: like that poor girl, she don't want to do.
- 48:49Speaker 1: It was a poopy diaper, and he was asking her
- 48:52Speaker 1: to put some sort of ointment on the baby's.
- 48:54Speaker 2: Peak on his peepee. I'm like, dude, come.
- 48:57Speaker 1: On, Yeah, he slept the entire time.
- 49:00Speaker 2: Huh.
- 49:00Speaker 1: And he's resentful because he had to stay up all
- 49:03Speaker 1: night changing diapers. Kaylee was recovering from her emergency C
- 49:08Speaker 1: section and fifty hour labor You punk cass bitch.
- 49:12Speaker 2: Yes, And then not even twenty four hours later, he
- 49:15Speaker 2: leaves with his friend. He's like, I gotta go home.
- 49:17Speaker 2: I gotta go back to go to work.
- 49:18Speaker 1: And my mom needs me to come home. I gotta
- 49:20Speaker 1: take care of me.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Mom.
- 49:21Speaker 1: She's got mental health. Is she's bolder somebody unlike my kid? Yeah?
- 49:27Speaker 1: And my girlfriend?
- 49:28Speaker 2: Yeah, no, my mom. I meted out.
- 49:30Speaker 1: Mom needs right. So if I'm that mother, I'm going
- 49:34Speaker 1: to take that phone call from you, son, and I'm
- 49:36Speaker 1: gonna be like, no, uh huh, you're staying right there,
- 49:39Speaker 1: and I'll pick you up. You can go to school
- 49:41Speaker 1: and I'll take you back when you're done with school.
- 49:43Speaker 1: But no, you're staying right there because you're a father.
- 49:46Speaker 2: Now yep, you're a father now. Yeah, you fucked around,
- 49:49Speaker 2: you find out, so have them with your new responsibility.
- 49:53Speaker 2: But nope, Becky totally just comes over to pick him up,
- 49:56Speaker 2: I think, And that's when she's eaten in the kitchen well, she.
- 49:59Speaker 1: Sits down and she takes the grand baby and then
- 50:02Speaker 1: he starts to cry, and so she gives the grand
- 50:04Speaker 1: baby back. And this is where we get the interstitial
- 50:07Speaker 1: from Mandy, who's like, she will come over to the
- 50:09Speaker 1: house while the baby is sleeping, pick up the baby,
- 50:13Speaker 1: hold the baby, the baby starts crying, and then she'll
- 50:15Speaker 1: give him back to somebody else. And now the baby's up.
- 50:19Speaker 1: So you say you're coming over to help, but you're
- 50:21Speaker 1: actually taking away our help. You're taking away our peace
- 50:24Speaker 1: because you're here just sitting on the couch like a
- 50:26Speaker 1: lump of meThe.
- 50:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you're eating chips and salsa in the
- 50:32Speaker 2: kitchen and pizza.
- 50:34Speaker 1: Where did he get the pizza? So he's just so
- 50:36Speaker 1: her friend is just going through the cupboards, into the refrigerator,
- 50:39Speaker 1: grabbing whatever kind of food, eating their food, and then
- 50:42Speaker 1: bouncing and leaving.
- 50:45Speaker 2: Dude, Kaylie is never gonna see Graham like at all.
- 50:48Speaker 2: He is not going to be present. He's not going
- 50:50Speaker 2: to pay child support. I mean, I hope they have
- 50:52Speaker 2: some kind of agreement where he is paying child sport,
- 50:54Speaker 2: but I don't think. I think at the end of
- 50:55Speaker 2: this episode, she says she's got no money from him.
- 50:59Speaker 1: Right vipers for anything, girl, Becky, you should be paying something, yep,
- 51:05Speaker 1: toward the upkeep of your grandchild.
- 51:08Speaker 2: I can't get out of bed.
- 51:10Speaker 1: God, unless there's a math bob, then I can get
- 51:13Speaker 1: out of bed.
- 51:14Speaker 2: So fucking stupid. I feel bad for Kaylee, but at
- 51:17Speaker 2: the same time online girl.
- 51:18Speaker 1: Oh but I mean, Mandy, you drove your whole ass
- 51:22Speaker 1: child at fourteen years old. Kaylee was fourteen years old.
- 51:25Speaker 2: Eleven.
- 51:25Speaker 1: Drove her eleven.
- 51:26Speaker 2: They've been together since they were eleven.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Drove her since the time she got her period, all
- 51:32Speaker 1: the way forty five minutes to Graham's house, Becky's house.
- 51:34Speaker 1: Dropped your kid off, went somewhere else. You didn't drop
- 51:37Speaker 1: her off and stay there and wait for her to
- 51:40Speaker 1: come back you. You dropped her off. You went somewhere else,
- 51:42Speaker 1: And so inevitably they fucked. Yeah, and Mandy, this is
- 51:45Speaker 1: what you get. Sit there and see about Becky and
- 51:49Speaker 1: see the about Graham. She's so mad, Oh.
- 51:51Speaker 2: She's so many hates them, and she's gonna end up
- 51:53Speaker 2: raising this kid too. Of course, because Kaylee's also a
- 51:56Speaker 2: little bit of a bat. Yep, She's gonna want to
- 51:58Speaker 2: go back to cheerleading. And she's I don't want to
- 52:00Speaker 2: go do all these things. Like she says she loves
- 52:02Speaker 2: Easton a lot, but she's also a fifteen year old girl, Like,
- 52:05Speaker 2: I mean, her priorities are not gonna be on this baby. No,
- 52:09Speaker 2: they're gonna be having fun, going to prom doing stupid stuff.
- 52:13Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know. Yeah, Mandy's gonna definitely be the
- 52:16Speaker 1: one to stand in the gap, no question but to
- 52:18Speaker 1: ask Yep.
- 52:19Speaker 2: Then we have Jenna's dullmass. She's back in Myrtle Beach.
- 52:23Speaker 2: I guess her and Delaney had a falling out. Nobody cares,
- 52:26Speaker 2: but she took a pregnancy test and she's pregnant with
- 52:30Speaker 2: JJ's big, big headed baby.
- 52:32Speaker 1: What a shock when he confessed on the couch next
- 52:35Speaker 1: to his mother that they only raw dog, So, like,
- 52:38Speaker 1: what a shock that now she's pregnant.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Cares? Yeah, God, I can't with people like this.
- 52:45Speaker 1: So she's a little worried because she still has to
- 52:48Speaker 1: hammer out custody with Aiden. Uh huh, who is up
- 52:52Speaker 1: in out in Pennsylvania. Yeah, and if she can't do that,
- 52:56Speaker 1: then she might have to relocate, and she doesn't think
- 52:58Speaker 1: JJ will relocate back to Pennsylvania though she's what's gonna happen,
- 53:02Speaker 1: and she's really scared. She actually calls Delaney, which I
- 53:05Speaker 1: kind of loved.
- 53:05Speaker 2: Yeah, she calls to.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Landy because she's gonna take that pregnancy test. Delaney is
- 53:10Speaker 1: on her way to class, and Delaney tells us on
- 53:12Speaker 1: the couch like I haven't heard from her, Like I
- 53:14Speaker 1: came down to Myrtle Beach for her birthday and JJ
- 53:18Speaker 1: doesn't like me, And apparently JJ is the one behind her.
- 53:22Speaker 1: No longer talking to me. Now, all of a sudden,
- 53:25Speaker 1: you might be pregnant. You want to call me? Okay,
- 53:27Speaker 1: So she was very dismissive with Jenna, which Jenna deserved.
- 53:31Speaker 2: Yeah, totally.
- 53:32Speaker 1: Jenna finds out she's pregnant. She puts the cup. She
- 53:35Speaker 1: puts a little cup that says the best dad or
- 53:37Speaker 1: whatever with her peace stick in a box. So correct
- 53:41Speaker 1: gives it to JJ with his big old head. Yeah,
- 53:43Speaker 1: and all those curls on those.
- 53:45Speaker 2: Head, Oh my god, mega mind.
- 53:47Speaker 1: He seemed happy.
- 53:48Speaker 2: I mean he was kind of like whatever in the moment,
- 53:51Speaker 2: but afterwards he's like, yeah, I'm gonna step up. I'll
- 53:53Speaker 2: be a dad of two and whatever. He's got like
- 53:56Speaker 2: one brain.
- 53:57Speaker 1: Cell, so in that big head only one rain. Yeah,
- 54:00Speaker 1: the way he talks, that's marvel if it's only one
- 54:03Speaker 1: brain cell. But do you notice that they're living in
- 54:06Speaker 1: his mom's house, And did you notice how palatial and
- 54:09Speaker 1: expansive that house was. Yes, So Jenna and JJ have
- 54:13Speaker 1: a great life. They do on their mother's time. So
- 54:16Speaker 1: of course they're going to bring more children into the equations.
- 54:18Speaker 2: Why wouldn't you, Well, and I guess Jenna also makes
- 54:21Speaker 2: money from Instagram and stuff like that.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Whatever, Yeah, buy a house, then provide for yourself, agreed.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Yeah, And then we have the bulk of this episode,
- 54:30Speaker 2: which is Lily and Lawrence's wedding, which nobody cares. Nobody cares.
- 54:37Speaker 1: Why are these people on the show. Why are they
- 54:39Speaker 1: on the show. We're not expecting, We're not unexpecting. No,
- 54:43Speaker 1: we're just still together with the kids from the other
- 54:46Speaker 1: unexpected season watching.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Your fucking wedding, talking about how you got your period,
- 54:50Speaker 2: how your titties are saggy because your baby drink all
- 54:53Speaker 2: the milk out of them, and then watching you get
- 54:56Speaker 2: absolutely fucking shit faced.
- 54:58Speaker 1: That was great.
- 54:59Speaker 2: That was hilarious. I mean, that was so fucking funny
- 55:02Speaker 2: because it's embarrassing because like you're so fucking drunk, like
- 55:05Speaker 2: she's slurring. Lawrence is like, I've never seen her this drunk, But.
- 55:10Speaker 1: I thought that was sweet. She's happy and she really
- 55:12Speaker 1: wanted this wedding to happen. Yeah, she looked beautiful. Yeah,
- 55:17Speaker 1: he looked you from the kids were dancing and partying
- 55:21Speaker 1: and it looked like a nice time. So good for Lily.
- 55:24Speaker 1: But now get off my television.
- 55:26Speaker 2: Do not come back for another I never want to
- 55:29Speaker 2: see you again. And I'm like, why was this episode
- 55:32Speaker 2: thirty five minutes of just your wedding?
- 55:34Speaker 1: Yeah? They got nothing.
- 55:35Speaker 2: I mean, what do we not get anything with Anya
- 55:38Speaker 2: and Da Kwan? No freaking Nate and Emily. Yeah, like
- 55:42Speaker 2: we're just gonna leave Nate and Emily chop liver.
- 55:45Speaker 1: Nate's my favorite too, and I love A Kwan. I
- 55:49Speaker 1: don't like Anya or a I don't know, but I mean,
- 55:52Speaker 1: we should have been able to see where everybody is
- 55:54Speaker 1: at the end of the show, but nope, it's over. Nope,
- 55:57Speaker 1: that's all we've got.
- 55:58Speaker 2: But I mean over. Like the beginning of the season
- 56:01Speaker 2: was pretty good, Yeah, pretty trashy.
- 56:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I think previous seasons were way better. Yeah, and
- 56:07Speaker 1: I would have liked if they had some kind of
- 56:09Speaker 1: a reunion so we can see where they are now, like, yeah,
- 56:12Speaker 1: what's happening with Nate and let me know what's going on?
- 56:16Speaker 1: But there's no tell all, there's no reunion.
- 56:18Speaker 2: I don't like that. A lot of these shows don't
- 56:20Speaker 2: do tell us.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Well, they used to do. They've had reunions before for
- 56:23Speaker 1: unexpected Yes, why not this time?
- 56:27Speaker 2: Why are they taking it away from us?
- 56:28Speaker 1: So if it comes back next year? Are we going
- 56:31Speaker 1: to watch it? Do you think?
- 56:32Speaker 2: I mean, if it's new people, if it's a bunch
- 56:35Speaker 2: of new teenagers getting pregnant stuff, sure, But if Anthy.
- 56:38Speaker 1: And Lawrence come back, not.
- 56:39Speaker 2: Absolutely not. I don't care about their married life.
- 56:43Speaker 1: And that's our final answer. Better agreed. Okay, Well, well
- 56:48Speaker 1: we got that done. That's we got that under the belt.
- 56:51Speaker 2: That was pretty much it.
- 56:52Speaker 1: Yes, So I think that the next thing we're doing
- 56:55Speaker 1: is wrapping up Sister Wives season five.
- 56:59Speaker 2: Huh.
- 56:59Speaker 1: And then when we are going right into Sister Wives
- 57:03Speaker 1: season nineteen, which is honestly what we've been waiting for. Wait,
- 57:08Speaker 1: and we're gonna be wrapping up Welcome to Platforms, So
- 57:10Speaker 1: our schedule might be shifting a little bit and We'll
- 57:12Speaker 1: figure it out and we'll let you know, but we'll
- 57:14Speaker 1: be here for the bullshit we will. You can bet
- 57:17Speaker 1: on that facts Now, is there anything else that we
- 57:19Speaker 1: need to say to these beautiful raccoons before we get
- 57:22Speaker 1: up on attic here be Well?
