- 0:40way you may pill Vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome. You're listening to
- 0:47the Sport Shock Show. I'm the Sport Shock Wayne Gandy. Good morning to
- 0:52you on this m l K day. Some of you are rolling around in
- 0:57bed taking the morning off, but we are here in the studio ready to
- 1:02go, or at least I hope by the time I introduced my cast today
- 1:07they will be ready. Commanchi greg is dealing with a lot of sorrow.
- 1:12If the notebook the movie ever needed a visual of sad eyes, Commanchi Gregg's
- 1:23eyes right now makes me want to cry, you know how, Like crying
- 1:29sometimes in places is contagious. It's like hiccups. But the sadness and the
- 1:36death, He's trying to camouflage it as though it's not there. That's what's
- 1:40making me the saddest when I know that deep pain is in there and he's
- 1:47trying to figure a way to make his iris bigger. But it's so deep
- 1:55down in there that the pity, I mean, it's just real, real
- 2:01despair. I mean, it's like the deepest saddest moment you can have.
- 2:09It's it's something close to you finding out a loved one has passed. That's
- 2:15the sadness. I don't know if you can tell from the visual, but
- 2:19it's a deep sadness, kind of like Ricky getting shot in the movie.
- 2:27You know, it's one of those kind of things that's just a sadness that
- 2:30is so deep in his heart. But we're gonna try to work him through
- 2:35it. I know, I know these are those trials and tribulations that they
- 2:39speak about in the New Testament that sometimes you just got to go through.
- 2:44But the sadness, my brother, I feel you, I feel you.
- 2:46Hey, we love you. I know, I know sometimes it don't feel
- 2:53like you know, people say it and then, but I feel like it
- 2:55right now. We love you, bro. I don't believe then my love
- 3:00love no, my love like you know Superman loving lois that he's gonna turn
- 3:07back the time. You remember when Superman flew back and made the Earth reverse
- 3:12time. He wished so he could save Lois. He had so much love
- 3:15he went he reversed the polar spin of the Earth to get Lois back.
- 3:22That's kind of how I wish I could give that. Give you that gift,
- 3:24Man, But we're gonna work you through it today. Sit back,
- 3:29relaxed, Big Kenny, say something funny today. He's a little you know,
- 3:32late getting back to town. Uh. He has a little that Snoop
- 3:36dogg herb flowing on him. I smelled him when he came in because I
- 3:39had just put out a plug in, a new plug in. He came
- 3:46in, broke the whole smell of the new park plug in. It went
- 3:47from smelling like lavender to oregano. That was the Snoop Doggs this steward.
- 3:57And then the bad producer comes into the building where you know, as he
- 4:00starts every morning with the sports jock, his racist chance of telling me what
- 4:08my neighbors are doing. I've been living here twenty years now. All of
- 4:12a sudden he wants to give me some insight from his aslama ideas of what
- 4:17life is. I tell you man, but commands you. I feel you
- 4:21know, I know they're not recognizing your pain, your Dallas cowboy pain.
- 4:27But I recognize that, recognize cowboy. I know you got more John Blaze
- 4:32in that. I know you do. You do how you do. And
- 4:39Ricky didn't deserve to be killed and boys in the Hood, he did not,
- 4:44He did not. He said he should not have gotten killed. And
- 4:48he said, like losing a loved one. But with the Cowboys, it's
- 4:51like losing the same loved one over and over. So would you like to
- 4:57talk about the We're gonna let you tell us. Let me know when you
- 5:00want me to discuss, because it could be too early in the show.
- 5:05Maybe maybe no, no, no, no, no, no. Don't
- 5:08feel the pressure because right now I know I'm putting you on Front Street.
- 5:11So I didn't get trying to trying the man up. That's one of the
- 5:20parts. You might watch the game, but we just said, but you
- 5:24can't watch kept up. Listen, listen, I'm trying to tell you on
- 5:29you on the nice edge right now. All right, you're closer to him
- 5:32than anyone you hear time. He got a lot of aggression. I don't
- 5:40know if you want that smoke today. Hey, I'm ready. I don't
- 5:43know. Come, man, she said he didn't watch the game. He
- 5:45ain't watched the game. Who am I the question whether this man watched the
- 5:49game or not. But I don't. You don't have to. You don't
- 5:53have to hear it or see a loved one die to feel the to feel
- 5:57the pain. Now you don't have to see it. So you let the
- 6:01sports shock when it's okay to peel back that onion. Hey, until then,
- 6:11we're gonna move on to some some happy stuff. Here, here's a
- 6:14happy store. Hey, match buddy, we're Auburn women Tigers beat l s
- 6:19U. Yeah about that War Eagle to my Auburn women Tigers, yes,
- 6:25yesterday on Primetime TV. One of them, I think even snatched Angel Reese
- 6:31eye lash off just to set the tempo. The round of applause for that,
- 6:35just right? No, no, no, that didn't really happening,
- 6:39now, bellish, So round of applause for them, bellish right, But
- 6:45we did beat them sixty seven sixty two. I got a chance to catch
- 6:49some of the game before the NFL game started. So War Eagle to the
- 6:56women Tigers down in Auburn. That's a big uh in make your whole season,
- 7:01but it does in those kind of big games, a lot of eyes
- 7:04on the game definitely helps you in recruiting. When you can play well or
- 7:09beat those big time teams that you know a lot of high school girls and
- 7:15college women that might want to transfer. They look in at on those teams
- 7:19and that's a big recruiting tool at that time. So nice win yesterday by
- 7:27the Lady Tiger sixty seven to sixty two over LSU. I think that gave
- 7:33LSU that third loss, second or third. They hadn't lost since their first
- 7:39game of the season, so I don't know if that's okay, So maybe
- 7:43the third. But I thought it was a good game because I caught the
- 7:46second half. I was like, how descriptive. I mean, I was
- 7:53like, no, I mean when I say, I mean like the defense,
- 7:57the defense that they put on LSU. I mean it was like LSU
- 8:01was just didn't have nothing for it. I mean, Angel Reech, she
- 8:05was looking like you said, she lost her eyelash and she just lost some
- 8:09of her superpower. Yeah, it was really game. They was playing with
- 8:11the energy of we have nothing to lose, and that's that's where you when
- 8:18people say you get a team's best shot, when you can get a team
- 8:22in any sport to kind of take the the court, field, the arena,
- 8:28whatever they're doing with this kind of we'll just figure it out in three
- 8:33hour kind of mentality. We're just gonna play hard. That's how Auburn was
- 8:35playing. It didn't matter whether they were up or down, who made a
- 8:39big shot. But it was a good game to watch. And once again
- 8:45I like to say, I see you, Caitlyn Clark. I see you,
- 8:50I see you. These other guys here they ay trying to ignore you,
- 8:56but I see you in the gym in range. That's Kaitlyn Clark for
- 9:01IOWA. If Caitland Clark, as soon as she walked in the gym,
- 9:05she's in range of shoot doctor Drayne. When I was watching her play the
- 9:13other day she was playing, they were playing Indiana and watching her, it
- 9:20just brought back my first second year being at Auburn and my first experience of
- 9:28watching at that time Chris Jackson for LSU and didn't know the name before.
- 9:37Just you know, if Auburn having a basketball game, the basketball arena at
- 9:43Auburn at that time, which is still now well they don't have the dorm
- 9:46anymore, but it was maybe two hundred yards from so we went to a
- 9:52lot of basketball games. So he's playing LSU and this was the year before
- 9:56Shaq even got there. This was eighty nine. Jack got there the next
- 10:00year. Went over to the game. Never heard of this young man named
- 10:03Chris Jackson and Mississippi. And that's where he was shooting the ball from from
- 10:09where he was acting boring d Abaville. He was, he was down in
- 10:15d Avonville. And when I watched when I was watching her and fast forward
- 10:20thirty thirty two years, however long that had been, and watching her,
- 10:24it was the same, like she's deadly, just one of the most extraordinary
- 10:31shooters. And that's why I called her the Steph Curry of women's basketball.
- 10:37Right, she on the court in range. This is none of that heave.
- 10:41I'm just hoping the ball right, this is step back. I'm finna
- 10:46hit it from this corner. Step back here. So I see you,
- 10:50Caitlyn clark Ay. You were doing your thing, but sit back. We
- 10:52got a big show for you. Tuna, or at least dolphin frozen in
- 10:58Kansas City. It's just frozen. I'm talking about it's not that good there,
- 11:03you know, because when you freeze something that water, it takes the
- 11:07water out of so it's not as fresh. It's not as fresh as it
- 11:11makes. It makes to beat the little gun. But they were. They
- 11:13were frozen in Kansas City. Everybody was though they were swagging surface. The
- 11:18cheeseheads went too. We can't talk about that. The Rams and the Lions.
- 11:24We'll get some kind of way. We got to fit that in Mayer.
- 11:26We'll send him to the bathroom and talk about it behind his back.
- 11:31About the Cowboys, I think that we could call him something else, the
- 11:35Cowboys, the bow Koy m O K Day. Draymond Green is back,
- 11:41Carmelo is upset about somebody wearing his number. What Michael Jordan, Scottye Piven
- 11:48nor Dennis Rodman showed up to the bulls Ring of Honor, which is just
- 11:54funny. And he has been been stealing the immage a lot to talk about.

- 15:07it to a completely different level this year where we highlight an accolade that has
- 15:13taken their game to the next level. Fuck up, buck up, fuckuck.
- 15:22This goes out the whole area code Yes, Yes, My Big Day,
- 15:26Roles, Big Roll, Live Shot Show thirty six Shot this boy,
- 15:35Shock Wayne Game a good morning. Tell you how about them cowboys? How
- 15:39they're Cowboys Nation. But they aren't the only team that came up short over
- 15:46the weekend. Last night in the Motor City, the Detroit Lions hosting the
- 15:52Los Angeles Rams and what a great game? Uh it turned out to be,
- 15:58especially in that first half thirty two years since the Rams secured a playoff
- 16:03win. The storyline basically is imagining two teams playing each other that made a
- 16:10big trade a couple of years ago where one quarterback who took his team to
- 16:15the Super Bowl lost the Super Bowl, got traded for another quarterback who had
- 16:21never really taken his team anywhere, and then he went to the other quarterbacks
- 16:26team he won a super Bowl. But then the quarterback that went to the
- 16:30Super Bowl and lost decided to invite him over for a slice of Detroit pizza
- 16:37in the Mota City last night. And that would be Jarret Golf playing likes
- 16:44out, especially in that first half, him and Matt Stafford of the Rams
- 16:48doing great battle from that position, and it turned into more of a defensive
- 16:55battle of wheels in the second half, but the Rams losing to the Lions,
- 17:02the Lions exercising some demons under Dan Campbell, the head coach, now
- 17:08get to sit and wait for the winner of tonight's game. At eight fifteen,
- 17:15the Eagles taking on the Tampa Bay Bucks. The Bucks at nine and
- 17:19eight, barely getting in the playoffs, mainly because of the division they were
- 17:25in with Baker Mayfield. The Eagles who start off about nine and one or
- 17:30ten and one and then went on one in five something like that season.
- 17:37At the end, they entered a game without their best receiver, aj Brown,
- 17:44the quarterback has a banged up finger. They're on the road down in
- 17:48Tampa. Do they have enough to upset the Bucks? But regardless of that,
- 17:53there will be a second playoff game in Detroit next weekend for the Lions.
- 18:03I figured this game going into it was going to be the best of
- 18:07all the games, just because of so much motivation for both teams. Jared
- 18:12Golf you could tell when he finally took a knee in victory formation. Jameis
- 18:18Winston, they ran victory and nobody try to score or move forward. Nobody.
- 18:26They just ran the victory formation endo the game, and you can get
- 18:30it. Some of them didn't want to just let it go. On their
- 18:33faces, you could see that they wanted to keep playing, but they honored
- 18:38the victory formation. Michigan riding high with the Wolverines winning the national title.
- 18:45A couple of days before they won a national title, somebody won about six
- 18:49hundred million dollars in the lottery and now the Lions are getting a second playoff
- 18:56game against one of these two teams, the Eagles and the Bucks, that
- 19:03either team is winnable. Yeah, you're really if you're a Lion's fan.
- 19:08And I'm not trying to get too far ahead. I'm just saying Detroit playing
- 19:14at home, they couldn't ask for a better opponent than playing one of these
- 19:19two teams in the States that they are. The Bucks because they don't do
- 19:23a lot of scoring. And the Eagles, who know, two months ago
- 19:27you wouldn't want to play now, but right now they seem like they have
- 19:30fallen apart. You think that maybe the Eagles will dig around long enough in
- 19:37the bag and find that magic piece that's been missing, like oh, here
- 19:41it is, and they'll plug it back in or blow the dust off the
- 19:45cartridge. Which interesting game tonight against the Bucks. Bucks have a good defense,
- 19:48and you're saying you don't have the threat of aj Brown. So now
- 19:53you have d Smith on one side, Julio who tamp but would know so
- 20:00they're not going to be necessarily fearful of him. And how good is Jalen
- 20:03hurts his hand, So I think the Eagle's going to have to try to
- 20:07run the ball tonight. So I think they do still have enough to beat
- 20:11the Bucks. But it is on the road, which I'm quite sure they're
- 20:15happy about. With all this bad weather up in the northeast, Tampa on
- 20:22its worst night tonight, without even looking it'll probably be fifty nine degrees freezing
- 20:27in Tampa, you know, without even looking out. You know, I
- 20:32imagine the low excuse me say it could be little breezing through the night,
- 20:38ye have, But fifty nine compared to being up north where is seven,
- 20:41it's two different temperatures. He didn't get it. He didn't get it,
- 20:45did he? No, But he doesn't get a lot command you. I
- 20:48know you depressed, but help your man's over there. Man, so he
- 20:52looked commands you like, didn't nobody want to help me? Hey, didn't
- 20:55nobody help me? You know it's snowing and Buffalo and they play outside.
- 21:02They've been shoveling snow for like the last three days. Yeah, I know
- 21:06they've been shoveling dead cowboys over the last twenty four hours. Wow. Wow,
- 21:11Wow. You know he's you know, he's dealing with something and you
- 21:15just wow wow? Did you did you feel bad? Well? All commands
- 21:19you had to say was the Falcons didn't make the playoffs, but you still
- 21:23and then and then I was violent, but it was more violent. And
- 21:30then I was telling him you know, hey, you know, and then
- 21:33I would met you whatever. You're still at home, yeah, but I
- 21:37ain't been home as long as you. Oh it's a double tim just giving
- 21:47eyes. Tell me I need to help him today in the lunch room.
- 21:51I don't like to see people. I'm gonna take your last You know,
- 21:55when you play baseball, you get two strikes and get out of the way.
- 21:57Let me take your last swing because he's taking his last. So nobody
- 22:03knows anything about what you're just like, it's going to be sixty five degrees
- 22:07in tam Tampa, Yeah, it might range. It might range Chili sixty
- 22:11five in Tampa, which I'm quite sure. Philly, who uh what what's
- 22:17the temperature in Philly tonight? If this game was reversed, twenty one something
- 22:26not close about twenty five. Just go with that because they had snow.
- 22:32Does it say it's twenty six? I was closed. It's a big down
- 22:41to let Tampa win. Just for that, appreciate just to break here here
- 22:47we'll be back more of the NFL. As I said, talk about Dramond
- 22:51coming back today on m l K Day in the NBA having some afternoon games.
- 22:56We got some hirings, we got some inquirings and people stealing emmys.
- 23:00Can't talk enough about that. Coming up on the show right after this,
- 23:06do anything about yess today, daughters guess to shake a brick and the press
- 23:11a shepherd like Missus Spiels. They making a cookie stretch. I know it
- 23:15so well. I know the hustle is so well. Don't bowl. Wayne
- 23:18Moore of the Sports John Show with Wayne Gandys coming up next. Attention homeowners,

- 25:26Goo dolls. We're fortunate that our daughters have what they need to grow and
- 25:30learn, but that isn't the case for nearly thirteen million kids in the US
- 25:33that struggle with hunger. Childhood hunger is a heartbreaking reality that Feeding America is
- 25:37working to change. Each year, the Feeding American network of food banks rescues
- 25:41billions of pounds of good food that would have gone to waste and provides it
- 25:45to families and children in need. You can help kids in need in your

- 25:53the ad Council and now back to the sports. John Wayne Gandy the Red
- 26:07my buddy to tweet, to tweet, what about this more shock shot this
- 26:26mor shock Quayenne can Tee. We got a little most deaf versus Drake going
- 26:30on today. Most deaf uh hip hopper late nineties two thousand having some comments
- 26:40to try to throw at Drizzy. So I expect most death must be about
- 26:44to drop an album. That's what most people do. That's the new way
- 26:48of calling out someone who has the throne, has the country's consciousness and say
- 26:56something inflammatory about them and then drop your book or drop your album. So
- 27:02I expect most dad who tries to cut my man Drake down say he is
- 27:11something about a Target or Walmart. He's a pop artist, you know,
- 27:15he's that his he's uh. He associates Drake's music with shopping, with shopping.
- 27:22That's what Drake associated with to shopping like but with all the sales that
- 27:33that's what he's saying. But he said that he considered Drake is pop more
- 27:38pop music and and like Walmart and Target, Taylor Swift the store instead of
- 27:44just straight but not in the that they are retail outlets for his music,
- 27:48and that it's like the music version of hip hop when you go into a
- 27:55store and you recognize the song, but it's not the song because they've got
- 27:59it with some like a background calypso beat or something like that is the tone
- 28:04in which he said that. He wasn't saying that like it's pop music,
- 28:07they sell it in Target. He was saying, you listen to it while
- 28:11you're in Target shopping for other things. I thought rap plus pop is what
- 28:18we started calling hip hop, rap plus pop music like rap music. Remember
- 28:26we start off as rap music. Now we replace it that you know it's
- 28:32hip hop, which was the clash of rap and pop. Correct. Yes,
- 28:37so what is Drake doing wrong? It's not it's not rap enough.
- 28:45It's it's more pop than rap. It's like maybe saying there's a it's more
- 28:52if it's seventy thirty seventy percent pop thirty percent, and that's that's not good
- 28:56enough or that's not that's not my preference. Okay, all right, most
- 29:06death if you say so, sir. The Alabama Crimson Tide has found them
- 29:12a new coach. They didn't wait long. They went out and grabbed last
- 29:18week's losers head coach Kaylin the Boyer from Washington to be their head man.
- 29:26The Boyer says that Nick Saban's ghost is very welcome to stay around the building.
- 29:34All indications that Nick seems to just be maybe taking a sabbatical from the
- 29:44day to day. It didn't really seem like he was totally going to be
- 29:48out. He's not going to move to the a D or the count necessarily
- 29:52consultant, but I hear things like his offices thing where it is he's going
- 29:59to have a roll with Crimson Tide. I'm quite sure in hiring coach Debauer
- 30:07that they definitely talked to Nick about this choice, but that's who they're going
- 30:15with in Alabama. One of Alabama's top receivers, Isaiah Bond from Here High
- 30:22school BUFERK says that he is transferring to Texas and mainly is two reasons Nick
- 30:27Saban stepped down, and he feels like it's a business decision after two years
- 30:33in Bama. I guess he wants to go to a system in Texas with
- 30:37Steve Circassian that he feels will give him and increase his draft stock. And
- 30:45I think that's just commonly what we see now A lot of people are using
- 30:48that transferred portal to try to find systems that will be more favorable to them
- 30:57building their numbers. How many quarterbacks that we see this year enter the transfer
- 31:03portal that literally was just starring at the school they was at, Yeah,
- 31:08but wanted to go to something that I guess they their agent or their coaches
- 31:14or someone that says, oh, if you go and run this system,
- 31:17it'll make you more draftable. Isaiah Bunn, the receiver making that move,
- 31:22headed to Texas. Texas. Remember Oklahoma joining the SEC this coming season.
- 31:27Well, well, also, I guess on the other side of that,
- 31:32where Okay, guys trying to increase their draft stock. It's soon that there
- 31:36were some that were that are leaving because the basically the coaches told them like
- 31:44we we want to bring in this guy and play him rather than have you
- 31:49come back next year. Like with the McCord from Ohio State, he's going
- 31:56he's moving on to Syracuse, but because of who they're bringing in and didn't
- 32:00because I'm trying to feel like they went like eleven to one, so why
- 32:05would you transfer? And it's not for n IL, it's not for maybe
- 32:10a bigger program. So there may be cases where they're being well, it
- 32:16is some of them is in IL because the m IL deal at a certain
- 32:20school is bigger, right then, because nils are basically deals like one year
- 32:27to year. Yes, how they're paid out and you can go fill in
- 32:30the role of somebody else's NIL deal and get that same amount of money.
- 32:35Now, in Isaiah Bonds defense, he left as soon as Nick said.
- 32:39He didn't even wait to see who the next head coach was, right so
- 32:45he Nick said he was leaving forty eight hours later, before they even hired
- 32:47a coach. He had decided he was going wherever something and maybe that's just
- 32:52a function of him seeing a better situation at the quarterback, you know,
- 33:00and so we will see how that turns out for them. Jared Mayo became
- 33:05the head coach of the Patriots, part of the Bill Belichick dynasty of coaches.
- 33:13Jared Mayo out of the University of Tennessee, picked by the Patriots,
- 33:17played about five years there, won a Super Bowl, immediately went on the
- 33:22coaching staff for them, where it is a lot of grooming has gone in
- 33:25to di Mayo to become the head coach. He's thirty eight thirty nine years
- 33:31of age. It's to be his first time being the head coach and he
- 33:36is part of the Patriot Wait. So when you look at this hire and
- 33:42trust me, Demik O'Ryan and the success he's having with Houston teams on the
- 33:49NFL are very they're very influenced by what other teams do. Demiko Ryan,
- 33:57this makes me feel like the Patriots definitely going to draft the quarterback. It's
- 34:02similar as Houston coordinat young decordinator in top three, pick quarterback like c.
- 34:09J. Stroud and go from there. Try to emulate what Houston just did.
- 34:15While you laugh, comeen gie there. It seems like throughout at least
- 34:22since the Houston Texans have come into the league, it's like the them and
- 34:28the Patriots are doing doing a lot of similar things or have a lot of
- 34:31similar people between between both teams. So now that the Texans have done that,
- 34:38now here comes Patriots doing something similar. So it's like it between those
- 34:45two teams, there are a lot of parallels. If you started a team
- 34:49today, wouldn't you mimic whoever is riding high? That's where the text and
- 34:57the time that the Texans became a team, who has been the team.
- 35:00If I mean, if that, if that was if that's the right thing,
- 35:04but it's just for that like that. It happens a lot that No,
- 35:07I'm saying anything happens a lot. But in that how you're go into
- 35:12any industry. Yeah, in this case, if you, if you get,
- 35:16if you, if you have someone in waiting, like Maya was basically
- 35:21the guy in waiting. But and they're in a situation where they can get
- 35:25a new quarterback. I don't I guess I wouldn't say that that they're exactly
- 35:30copying Houston, but maybe it's more coincidental that it's it's a very similar situation.
- 35:36It seems like the truest form of what you would do if you're going
- 35:40to start something. If I'm gonna start a burger place, I'm gonna pick
- 35:47McDonald's. It just happened. You just have to have this location to have
- 35:52this burger place, like it's it's all it all lined up and it seems
- 35:55to work, and that's what they're trying to do. I was going to
- 35:59say that you said it seemed like he had been groomed, but they had
- 36:01it in his contract when he got an extension that he could be inserted immediately
- 36:07into the head coaching position. So I think that's how they got around even
- 36:12having to interview any other coaches. Yeah, and they did it in the
- 36:15way I thought the Patriots would do it, in a very professional way.
- 36:21They already got candidates, they bring back their coaches. It's the Patriot way,
- 36:24so it's no surprise that they gave him the job. It allows Robert
- 36:28Kraft to deal with somebody he already knows it, lyles Bill Belichick to chime
- 36:32in if he needs to, and it brings back all those other coaches whenever
- 36:38they need some. Josh McDaniels, Matt Patricia, anyone, just keep recycling
- 36:45without having to fase. Bab Dousey got some on your mind. You seem
- 36:47bored over there? No, Yeah, if you just want to listen to
- 36:52the show, we can sell your ticket. He sneaking. He's start setting
- 37:01a ticket day and he want to sneak it through the side. Though Jim
- 37:05Harbaugh has been allowed to go interview out for the Chargers. We will see
- 37:10how that works out for the LA Chargers. Great situation for Hallball if he
- 37:15chooses to, because he's already has a quarterback in Justin Herbert We'll be back
- 37:21with more to Sports Jock Show right after this. I'm not I'm not stop
- 37:24fund them playing to the cops, pulling like I'm giving drugs out. I'm

- 41:27no, no, that's not what And And for point of order,
- 41:31sir, I'm just no statement. For point of order. It was put
- 41:37into Gerard Male's contract that he would be given the head coaching position after they
- 41:44signed him to an extension, which eliminated the need or consideration for the Rooney
- 41:50rule or any interviewing of any other head coach. So the NFL made him
- 41:54when the Patriots, when Belichick announced that he was stepping down, he was
- 41:59allowed to be the head coach on day one, So that had nothing to
- 42:02do with the Rooney rule. So say what you said, sir, oh,
- 42:07we got another brother on it as an NFL coach. Did you say
- 42:12brother or black? I heard black, right? Another black coach another yeah?
- 42:17Okay, so make sure you say it right. We got another brother,
- 42:22my brother, a black man in America, just coaching the NFL team.
- 42:27So there is for you out there. I want to say it like
- 42:30that. He's a brother. Guys, go out there that on the races.
- 42:35Tip, here's your racist leader right here. Follow him over to the

- 43:42where nobody is mentioning you associated with a crime. It's okay, Yeah,
- 43:47you don't have to be every twelve months pushed back into cycle of being a
- 43:52usual suspect. You could just not be on the radar. How they know
- 43:57his name, well, he's a Hall of Famer, he's a cowboy,
- 44:00he's on television. He had a lot of outlets outside of that. I'm
- 44:08an unknown what happened this time, sports Jack, because I missed it.
- 44:13They're still kind of figuring it out. They don't want to put it out.
- 44:17I guess you know what happened in Texas? I think in Austin.
- 44:21Uh So, the story hasn't really been feeled down unless command she find something
- 44:24in the last couple of days. They're kind of like it's stand office of
- 44:28what it was to Alan Texas is PD is an investigator, but his name
- 44:34came up into some kind of yeah, the only the word that has come
- 44:37up is misconduct, which which means which, which means she ain't married.
- 44:50Sticking with Texas, the Houston Texans invited the Cleveland Browns down uh to Huston
- 44:57and put on a show for them. This Houston Texan teams with a lot
- 45:01of unknown players. Their biggest name player as far as notoriety is their quarterback
- 45:07CJ. Stroud, who was the second pick of the draft, and the
- 45:14rest of the team you kind of have just been getting to know as it
- 45:19goes. When you talk about their top receiver, Nicocollins got a Google for
- 45:28most people to figure out which college, but he's a top prime time players
- 45:31make a lot of big plays, big catchers for c. Tod Stroud.
- 45:37Really, after that you start not knowing this roster and it really has gone
- 45:44under the radar. They've done a great job this season. They are hot
- 45:50right now, yes, and sometimes being unknown being taken for Granted, it
- 45:57seems to still be Cleveland coming into town. O Flacco started off in that
- 46:02first half doing a great job. But this team with Cleveland, their biggest
- 46:07problem in this game is the inability to run the ball. The whole Cleveland
- 46:14offense is centered around being able to play action. Well, to have play
- 46:17action, I got to be able to get the defense to react to the
- 46:22run. Well, they don't react to the run. When you only rush
- 46:25as a team for fifty six yards, that means that when you go to
- 46:30act like you're gona hand the ball off, don't go. Don't I don't
- 46:35believe. Don't believe. He not gonna He's not gonna run. And that's
- 46:37the thing Cleveland. Their system, Similarly, even when I talk about the
- 46:44Falcons, is centered around as a team average at about one hundred and forty
- 46:50as a team, rushing, play action, keep the ball, grind the
- 46:55ball, be able to throw behind the defense. They were not able to
- 46:59run the ball effective enough, so it kind of stagnated their offense. But
- 47:04the Texans, now, who are waiting for the results of tonight to know
- 47:12where they will go, play right now with Pittsburgh and Buffalo. If Pittsburgh
- 47:19wins this game, then Houston will go one place. And if Buffalo wins
- 47:25the game, then Buffalo. I think. If Buffalo wins, Houston goes
- 47:30to Buffalo. Correct. If Buffalo wins, Houston goes to Baltimore, Baltimore,
- 47:38Okay. And if Pittsburgh wins and Pittsburgh goes to Baltimore and Houston goes
- 47:45to Kansas City, yes, like that, there we go. So it's
- 47:49all about who wins tonight. Remember at four thirty, this game was supposed
- 47:52to happen yesterday, but it got postponed due to the snow. They just
- 47:59say, it's just knowing too bad, not the temperature. The snow is
- 48:02too bad. So it's gonna happen today at four point thirty. We'll be

- 51:24He forgot to sell John Blade. He's not a target. He's not
- 51:28a target. He didn't sell it. So really, isn't that the bar
- 51:34if you're selling something. I thought that was what you were supposed to be
- 51:37doing with it, you know, having it home with you. There's no
- 51:40good put it in the bank. We're gonna get back to the NFL action
- 51:45in a minute. But a big ceremony happened in Chicago without the three biggest
- 51:52representatives. I believe the Bulls were hoping to get in town and that was
- 51:58the Bulls Ring of Honor. The Chicago Bulls, in all these years of
- 52:02their franchise have not had a Ring of honor. They decided to finally host
- 52:10this event and put up these players Hall of famers in some consideration, the
- 52:22greatest to ever play basketball when you talk about Michael Jordan, but none of
- 52:30the Big three, Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman showed up for
- 52:36this Bulls Ring of Honor. People like Phil Jackson who went in to the
- 52:42Ring of Honor, did show up to the ceremony, and a lot of
- 52:47the other guys. I think, I want to say it was about fifteen
- 52:51to seventeen people they were putting into the Ring of Honor. The interesting story
- 52:58came that the fans when they announced that the architect of the Bulls dynasty was
- 53:12mentioned Big Kenny Baba Dusa Comanche, Jerry Krause, who passed away back in
- 53:19twenty seventeen, the fans booed Jerry Krause. Jerry Krause, part of those
- 53:29six championships, part of the however it shaped out, he was the person
- 53:35making the choices and keeping the people, whether they were happy or not,
- 53:38making the trades. His wife, his widow, was in attendance, and
- 53:45when they showed his name, the fans booed. Now his wife was crying.
- 53:54Now it could have been for whatever his wife Thelma, It could have
- 53:59been because they were booing, or it could have been that her husband isn't
- 54:04here in these moments. So I don't know that it's right for us to
- 54:08put our sensibilities on why his wife was crying easily in these moments, the
- 54:15reflection of who someone is and missing them can be drawn upon Jerry passing away
- 54:24at seventy seven. So if he was alive today, be about eighty four
- 54:29eighty five, so still a great possibility he could have been here. You
- 54:32know, a lot of people could still be eighty five years old, but
- 54:36he was not. But the fans in Chicago, based on how they felt
- 54:42about him and the moves he made. I guess I would ask you as
- 54:51but as a GM, I brought you six championships? How does that get
- 54:57me booed? Because the results and the end results. I got you six
- 55:02champions and then arguably I pushed you into the pantheon of Lakers Celtics in this
- 55:12short window. Do I deserve booing? I think a lot of people look
- 55:19at how the team, how he broke up the team. I got your
- 55:23six championships, but you broke up the team. But I got you six
- 55:28championships. We could have seven. You have none. When I when I
- 55:34started this, you you had dust on your feet, and I came and
- 55:37I got you off the list. Understand you didn't you didn't you're not like
- 55:45the Lakers. And then you hired me to come in and then I just
- 55:50add on to what you already have, which but you didn't have nothing when
- 55:57I showed up. He was getting your water, got the crowd to pour
- 56:01water on the water to get more water from what Jerry wanted, more credit.
- 56:07He wanted to be like when people come when he pulled up at the
- 56:10arena, he wanted people that's Jerry Krouse, He's the man that does that.
- 56:15It was like, oh, there go Michael Jordan, there's Scotty,
- 56:16there's Phil Jackson. It was never he never got that attention that he wanted.
- 56:22And he felt he did things like they felt like that he when he
- 56:24said that, you know, Damn Marley was the best defensive player. I
- 56:29like Damn Marley, or they felt like what he did with Tony Kuko and
- 56:32and and when the fans hear that, and like I said, I don't
- 56:35think his wife deserved it. He don't deserve to be booed. He did
- 56:38a great job. But it was just the point that when the fans hear
- 56:42that, and they seen Michael and Scotty and kill him putting it in the
- 56:45work. And yeah, he orchestrated and put it together. There's a lot
- 56:49of GMS that picked the pick the groceries, but you still got to go
- 56:52in there to play criticize the GM when he failed, he should do.
- 56:57All I heard for a decade was how Thomas Demetrov should be handcuffed. He
- 57:05should have and taken down to the CNN buildings and shove up off so you
- 57:09can talk about me that bad. I ain't said he should have shoved him
- 57:15off, but he could have been. If I bring you six super Bowl,
- 57:19you should talk about me that good, or or at least let me
- 57:23talk about myself. But if you're doing, if you're doing some of the
- 57:29things that they that was related he was going behind the scenes. Result is
- 57:34that I got six. I brought you sick. Listen, listen. And
- 57:36and that's the thing. It seems to me sometimes like they want to have
- 57:40an atmosphere like there are people who were champion a Draymond Green on the court
- 57:45doing that kind of thing, but a GM that had a ruthless, no
- 57:51holes barred mentality. People sort of see him as disruptive, but he's there
- 57:57to win championships, like all of the athletes are so and in that short
- 58:00window. Six. Come on, man, I mean they booed him because
- 58:05it's Chicago up. That's what I'm saying. It's one thing for other teams,
- 58:10but your own. Regardless of whether I like you or not, I
- 58:15cannot like you. But if the results is that you brought me six Super
- 58:17Bowls, then whatever you was doing was working, at least for that little
- 58:25bit, at least for that time. So I didn't get why they would
- 58:30boo Jerry Krause in Chicago. You know it sounds like you just ungrateful ladies
- 58:39and gentlemen posthumously will be boot shot a shot up, check you down,

- 1:01:16you may Vega, Welcome back to the What Shock Shop? This What Shock
- 1:01:22Wayne Gaming? Good morning, tell you on this m l K Day celebration.
- 1:01:29UH. Later in the afternoon, here of you in Atlanta. Victor
- 1:01:31Women Yama and the Spurs taking on the Hawks at three thirty. NBA has
- 1:01:38a list of games today. I know Memphis UH is playing versus Golden State.
- 1:01:45Unfortunately John Morant is out with that show. Derg Raymond Green is expected
- 1:01:50to be back after his suspension, but that game is today. I remember
- 1:01:53we got two football games today four thirty. We got the Stillers going into
- 1:01:59Buffalo. And in this kind of game, it starts becoming the turnover battle
- 1:02:05field position. Clearly, on a nice sunny day, especially without T.
- 1:02:10J. Watts, you would give the advantage to Buffalo. But with this
- 1:02:14weather and the wind and how it's going, it becomes a crap shoot.
- 1:02:19Especially when you have two teams. There is no advantage in this game like
- 1:02:23you had in other games. There was a clear cut advantage in the Dolphins
- 1:02:28Kansas City Jack game. And that's why you work for home field advantage.
- 1:02:31And if you're Miami on that plane ride back and I'm coach McDaniels, I
- 1:02:38just keep walking up and down the aisle the whole I don't sit down the
- 1:02:44whole flight. Every two steps, I try to toe you. That's all
- 1:02:50I be saying. I tried to toe you with this one to win the
- 1:02:58game last week. Yeah, because if we had one last week, we'd
- 1:03:01have been home in sunny Miami eighty two degrees. Eighty two degrees. But
- 1:03:06you know, but big Kenny want to be so smart and slick right now.
- 1:03:09It wasn't just my idea by myself. It wasn't just you. Who
- 1:03:14else was in on it, all right, guy. The rest of the
- 1:03:20team had to roll to play. Literally decided that, man, we can
- 1:03:24take our show on the road. No you can't. No, you can't.
- 1:03:28Not to that bro, thank Tyreek, trying to tell them to that.
- 1:03:30Guys wouldn't want this. Cole, Well we got the y'all ain't built
- 1:03:34for this. Because he was the only one that seemed like was ready,
- 1:03:37was trying to They were not built from play one. I knew so this
- 1:03:39they ran the ball the first play they ran. They gave the ball the
- 1:03:43moster, the running back, and he was tip toeing. I said,
- 1:03:46they're gonna lose his toes. He got the ball and he was like barely
- 1:03:52this. I said, oh, they're gonna lose. They're not ready for
- 1:03:57what's going on. And that is now in the Stiller flo It's not really
- 1:04:00a other than crowd noise. But as far as the temperature and playing outside,
- 1:04:06we're used to that. That's those two teams. This game just becomes
- 1:04:12who the ball slipped? So how bad is the win? I wouldn't want
- 1:04:15it to come down to a field goal. And if you're telling me,
- 1:04:18the snow and all that is starting, so it becomes if you can get
- 1:04:21a quick turnover or something like that in this game. And then tonight's game
- 1:04:28the Eagles are down in Tampa, go ahead, sir. I was watching
- 1:04:31guest his friend's mind and like you said, the tail sign. When I
- 1:04:34seen Jaalen Ramsey with the sleeves, I said, sports Jock's always said,
- 1:04:40you see them guys come out with the sleeves on it's a rat And he
- 1:04:43played like that about at least four people text me ask what's wrong with Ramsey?
- 1:04:49Like he would just if his guy didn't have the ball, He made
- 1:04:54no move to get into the play. He just would run alongside the other
- 1:05:00guys tackling. And it's just a it's a thing. You're not your mental
- 1:05:05You can't even create that in Miami. You almost have to just if you
- 1:05:11find out you have that game, you would just have to go to Saint
- 1:05:16Louis. Maybe just spend money if you're the owner, because to start getting
- 1:05:25out to be able to practice, to even try to simulate that. And
- 1:05:30it happens early in the season too, if you're if you're a warm weather
- 1:05:33team, if you're Miami. I'm trying to get Buffalo Week two, come
- 1:05:40down here in this ninety degree right, because they think they're in shape up
- 1:05:44there in Buffalo where they've been practicing in that seventy two, yeah, fifty
- 1:05:48eight, fifty eight low seventy. If I get it out here in this
- 1:05:54heat and they go to their hands on the hill and it's ninety two at
- 1:05:58eight pm, UH, and the road team is on the sideline that the
- 1:06:02sun is like right on top of you in Miami. So and so it's
- 1:06:06a it's but in this game to night with a buffalo, like I said,
- 1:06:11Philly catching a break. So at least they don't have to be attle
- 1:06:14the elements. As for as the chill, they can go down there.
- 1:06:16And I think about how many long How long it took Tampa, remember Tampa.
- 1:06:23Yeah, it was like forme went to Green Bay couple time, lost
- 1:06:27some games for the championship games, and then they beat the Eagles. Beat
- 1:06:31the Eagles with some record where they hadn't won a game under thirty forty degrees
- 1:06:38forty degrees and like forty times or something. It was some crazy record that
- 1:06:42seemed impossible. And that's what the Dolphins looked like. They were frozen out
- 1:06:46there. And you know, and when you looked over there and Andy reids
- 1:06:50Nott had frozen on his mustang, just sitting there. That's not there like
- 1:06:59that because because that ran all out and it was just on his mustache.
- 1:07:03And you know, Andy looked like one of them guys that that that looked
- 1:07:10like his style. It's just frozen right there. There wasn't no water.
- 1:07:14That was the midst of that. That snot had frozen on his face right
- 1:07:19there. But Miami losing that game completely, even if in warm temperatures greatly,
- 1:07:26they were probably lost because they're just so inconsistent. But that game was
- 1:07:30totally environmental out there for for me, people like Tua who's from Hawaii,
- 1:07:36who probably never even played in the snow. Yeah, I was, like,
- 1:07:43literally never played in the snow. In my senior year at Auburn,
- 1:07:48we played Arkansas the first time I was in a snow game. So imagine
- 1:07:54that you just based on where you're from, you can find yourself. The
- 1:08:00whole career has just never been in those kind of temperatures. So uh.
- 1:08:04But we were talking about Jordan, We were talking about a lot of guys,
- 1:08:08Steve Kerr, Stasy Keen, guys criticizing you bull fans, Big Kenny
- 1:08:13for brewing, Jerry Krause, Jerry Krowse, the architect of those six championships.
- 1:08:18Uh. And those are players that were on those teams that they get
- 1:08:23that you might not like what some of them he did, but he was
- 1:08:26the focal point, yes of putting these teams together. And for you to
- 1:08:31boo him in that situation in a ring of honor type deal where you're honoring
- 1:08:38the people that that that made your franchise and how many how many championships have
- 1:08:45they won since Jerry Krouse? Uh zero? Yarha? I just I just
- 1:08:55I know. The six championships they have is the only six they had to
- 1:09:01be rest Do they have another? And I missed now? I think they've
- 1:09:04only been to the conference finals once. Yes, since then, permission to
- 1:09:11treat the witness is hostile? Please do he well? I think that part
- 1:09:19of what Chicago fans may be exhibiting is some sort of anger over an embarrassment
- 1:09:25of riches. They got so much so fast that they thought it would go
- 1:09:31on forever, and greedily decided that they wanted it to go on for at
- 1:09:36least another four to nine seasons, and when he was like, Nope,
- 1:09:42that's it, and everybody talks about you don't know what he was doing behind
- 1:09:46the scenes. There may have been things that they were doing behind the scenes
- 1:09:49that he felt like he rode at the game. He rode at the morale
- 1:09:53of the or the quality of the franchise itself. A lot of it is
- 1:09:57told from the perspective of the people who were unhappy with what he did.
- 1:10:02But for the people who actually knew what was going on from a first person
- 1:10:06point of view, I don't think they would tell the same story. The
- 1:10:11inaugural ring of under Class is Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Dennis Rodman,
- 1:10:15Tony Kuko, Artist Gilmore, Bob Love, check Walker, Jerry Sloan,
- 1:10:21Phil Jackson, Text Winner, Dick Klein, and Johnny red Kerr. I
- 1:10:29remember calling this list out a couple of weeks ago when we discussed this,
- 1:10:32and I said, I don't get why Horace Grant wasn't part of this inaugural
- 1:10:39class. He was the third piece of that puzzle on those first three rings
- 1:10:45that and he left basically for the money down in Orlando. But he just
- 1:10:51as important as Dennis Rodman was to the second three Horace Grant was to the
- 1:11:00first three. Yes, in those championships, Greg, you had some confusion,
- 1:11:02Well, I was thinking that did they It seemed like the players that
- 1:11:06the players that you named the bulls had retired those numbers, I think,
- 1:11:12with the exception of of Rodman, but they retired Bob Love's number, Jerry
- 1:11:18Sloan, Artist Gilmore, But I know they hadn't retired Horace Grant's number.
- 1:11:27Okay, I don't think they retired Rodmin's numbers running his number either, So
- 1:11:30it is interesting that he wasn't part of that because he was part of the
- 1:11:34first three pat and with Robin being part of the second one. Well what
- 1:11:40Ron Harper on that team also, he was considered a very important part of
- 1:11:45that. Well, I think they honored the ninety eight team. I think
- 1:11:49because they a lot of those players that were on that team at least were
- 1:11:54there. But as far as like who was actually in the ring of honor,
- 1:12:00it's it's interesting that it's Rodman and not Grant. But it had to
- 1:12:03be like bad terms in which he left, you know, he did leave
- 1:12:06for the money. Well he did leave on back because even with Krause he
- 1:12:10had a problem with the contract issue, just the same way with Scotti and
- 1:12:14there was some situations there. So m hm, well, I don't see
- 1:12:19anything that I never read anything that Jerry Krouse did as a job that was
- 1:12:24out of his job right the GM unfortunately, that is his job and decide
- 1:12:30to hire money who ain't gonna get the money a lot of times and based
- 1:12:36on how that falls, you can become a likable figure or not. I
- 1:12:42can hear him and to me, Mike, you're gonna make these people hate
- 1:12:44me. We'll be back more to sports after this. I despise when I

- 1:16:26was born sick. He was killing sixty eight. Yeah you were born in
- 1:16:30sixty eight, No you were not, No, sir, when were you
- 1:16:33born? Nineteen sixty nine? Nineteen sixty nine? Okay, okay. So
- 1:16:39I walked with him from salemonth to my at four us old. So Vic
- 1:16:50Kenny is the only one that were born at that time. But a couple
- 1:16:56of birthdays here from yesterday and to day. L couj fifty six years old.
- 1:17:02Grant Gusting the Flash on Television is thirty four, Jason Bateman fifty five,
- 1:17:11Carl Weathers A. Paulo Creed seventy six, Shane McMahon from WWE WWF
- 1:17:20is fifty four, Dieta Deal Deebo Samuel is twenty eight, Drew Brees the

- 1:17:33years of age, my Man b left Byron Left which forty four. DeAndre
- 1:17:41Swift, who we'll get to see tonight for the Eagles, is twenty five,
- 1:17:45and Slick Rick the Rapper is fifty nine years of age. McKinney says
- 1:17:54that for you that have Costco cards, yes, they will be checking the
- 1:18:00picture on the card from now on, trying to make sure that y'all aren't
- 1:18:05running any scams. I don't know, bit Kenny, I don't know that
- 1:18:09I have a picture on my Costco card. Let me pull it out for
- 1:18:12it. Yes, the new car, yeah, yeah, on the back
- 1:18:16and out at there. Get mine. I gotta get ato with mine.
- 1:18:21Crank. Okay, there is a card. There's a picture at the it's
- 1:18:25Aqua Costco, which is right next to their national headquarters. They've rolling out
- 1:18:31a program where there is a scanner. The scanner has a sign that says,
- 1:18:39give me just second so I can read it specifically, it says you
- 1:18:42will be asked to scan your membership card before entering the warehouse. Now you
- 1:18:47can go to Costco pharmacy and get prescriptions filled with cash. You get Costco
- 1:18:55cards, you can use debit cards. You don't have to be a member,
- 1:18:59but get in the warehouse and to purchase items out of the warehouse,
- 1:19:02you have to have membership. And now they're gonna make sure that the humage
- 1:19:09and you gotta go with the person now just going and just flashing over somebody's
- 1:19:16card getting in the car. That's what I was gonna say. And also
- 1:19:19it seemed like they're gonna take away the door. You know, when you
- 1:19:23come in, you show on the car and they hit the little button.
- 1:19:26So now they're saying what they're gonna have something there where you gotta stick the
- 1:19:29car. Yeah, and it's gonna have I guess it's gonna your photo image
- 1:19:32now because when you go to the register you still have to present your card.
- 1:19:36Yeah, but I'm sure that now it will still require someone to verify
- 1:19:43that the image on the back of the car and you are the same image.
- 1:19:46But uh. Some people are concerned that will slow people down because now
- 1:19:50I actually have to physically stop and look at you, and it's almost like
- 1:19:55a ts a uh type of process. But that would be the defense of
- 1:20:02the process. If they can get eighteen million passengers through in one weekend,
- 1:20:06surely we can get you in and out of Costco. I know, I
- 1:20:10see a lot of people pull up at the gas thing and if they don't
- 1:20:12have a card, they was like, hey, man, can you like
- 1:20:15I've never seen that? So's that I've never seen that? Well, I'm
- 1:20:19quite sure they ran the algorithm and why they're losing a lot of money.
- 1:20:24Yeah, making sure that you are who you are. I would run my
- 1:20:28business exactly that way that I probably would have always been. I need to
- 1:20:33see your card and your idea, yeah please, and your license. They
- 1:20:40just getting around to it, I know how, I'm thinking that would have
- 1:20:44been me from day one, right that because at least, if at least
- 1:20:49if you're shopping for someone else, they're gonna have to come with you,
- 1:20:54or you're gonna have to come get their stuff for them, but it will
- 1:20:58be you now on this car. A lot of what they probably had in
- 1:21:01place before and they still have in place of the electronic safeguards where if there's
- 1:21:06a certain limit on an item and you're an add on to my account and
- 1:21:13we're shopping together, if I get the limit, then you can't. When
- 1:21:17you scan then know that's added to that account, you can't get the same
- 1:21:21amount. So it's like limit for that's per account. Yeah, because at
- 1:21:26one time when it was only so many of the lights are wipes, back
- 1:21:30when the pandemic was going on. I remember in Costco they would only allow
- 1:21:33you like it was a big four thing and you can only get one or
- 1:21:35there's two certain items on like cleaning items or the sprays and different things.
- 1:21:41And a lot of this goes along with what a lot of people this weekend
- 1:21:45it had an issue with, and that is the Chiefs Dolphins game being on
- 1:21:53Peacock. Yes, I've seen the future. If you go back and listen
- 1:21:59to the out of my shows, I told you that the NFL was moving
- 1:22:03this way. I told you that sports is moving this way. They are
- 1:22:09going to eventually you will individually have to click on yes for games. It's
- 1:22:18going to stop. The Super Bowl will be fifty nine in a minute,
- 1:22:27just like a prize fight. I know, you got to get yourself conditioned.
- 1:22:30They just slowly. They used to give both channels, used to give
- 1:22:34you a double hitter, and now it's now you're going to and if you
- 1:22:40ain't got the package, and then they moved it to YouTube and if you
- 1:22:43don't have that package now and Big Kenny was saying, they fell out with
- 1:22:47the local NBC, fell out with Direct TV, so then if you didn't
- 1:22:51have some kind of out, you couldn't watch the game the last month of
- 1:22:56the season on that channel, the Sunday night game. That was all the
- 1:23:00set up right there. So interesting number is that the Peacock has they said
- 1:23:04about thirty million subscribers and be somewhere between twenty and twenty seven million watch that
- 1:23:12Chiefs Dophins game. So people will buy it. And that's what I'm saying.
- 1:23:15It's gonna be under your little movie for four ninety nine, right,
- 1:23:20five ninety nine, you can buy this game. It's going to move in
- 1:23:26that direction. They're gonna offer you very little, free, free sports anything
- 1:23:31anything. But they're gonna cut the commercials back. There excuse they got to
- 1:23:34cut the commercials back because if I'm going, well, if I'm purchasing it
- 1:23:38in this pay per view, the purpose of you selling the commercials. I'm
- 1:23:41not gonna sit up here and you got all these commercials going away, not
- 1:23:44giving away that you tell me, do you ever watch any movies or television
- 1:23:48series on streaming now? Yeah? But you can purchase, you can purchase
- 1:23:54a higher you could go. You could either get to get the ones with
- 1:23:57the ad or you could purchase the one finish. And of those options,
- 1:24:02which ones have you purchased? No? No, you have the one with
- 1:24:06no always get it because I don't like the little when I'm watching. So
- 1:24:10they will offer the same options. And for people like you who want to
- 1:24:15skip the ads, you'll pay even extra money to see your football or you
- 1:24:19just won't watch football. Those are the two you can watch it. We'll

- 1:27:25I'm the What Shock Wayne KNTY, Good Morning, Congressman pat Ryan.
- 1:27:30He blasted the NFL NBC for greedy bait and switch scheme. We all ready
- 1:27:36paid for NBC. Let us watch the game. The congressman went on.
- 1:27:44He is claiming that basically the NFL NBC showed greed by hosting the Chiefs Dolphins
- 1:27:55game on Peacock, screaming the game that was originally to be on in b
- 1:28:00See. Now, I have to agree with him that if this is something
- 1:28:04that you had put in effect and had announced from the beginning, then that's
- 1:28:11on you. But for you to do this game week shows a lot of
- 1:28:18greed by the NFL. The bad producer says that he read an article where
- 1:28:25Charles Barkley and a lot of people are upset with NBC and the NFL for
- 1:28:31basically, at some point when this game was announced, deciding that you had
- 1:28:35to join Peacock to watch the game. And I guess the NFL, like
- 1:28:45any company, you never want you want to prosper, and you want to
- 1:28:53be greedy. You just never want people to see you being greedy being greedy.
- 1:28:59Hey, you ever really want to expose yourself to being that because that
- 1:29:04will sometimes get people to alter. I know, as we always have laughed
- 1:29:12on this show. I was cool with prize fights, yes, and different
- 1:29:19sporting events where you would pay, until they started adding different fees and then
- 1:29:26it started making me feel like, oh, now you're just being greedy.
- 1:29:29Yeah, you've added three, four or five different things. Basically you have
- 1:29:38found a way to keep the whole seventy nine dollars yourself, and then different
- 1:29:45penalties or payments for whoever came and said we need our part. So the
- 1:29:51two ninety nine was for the taxes for the government. The dollar ninety nine
- 1:29:57you just started calling them connection fee add me or service feed. What are
- 1:30:01you say, I already have it, you know. So basically that made
- 1:30:05me feel greedy, and that spent me into I don't really do the fights
- 1:30:13anymore. Right, just off of that, the principal that I was cool
- 1:30:17with the seven ninety nine, I mean the seventy nine ninety nine, the
- 1:30:21extra twenty dollars where you were just trying to make sure you cleared what you
- 1:30:26wanted your seventy nine ninety nine I just won't watch at all or I'll wait
- 1:30:31till next week when it's on free for free and watch it later with the
- 1:30:35service it was already paying for without paying for it. Right. It was
- 1:30:39funny that Charles, you know, he do a lot of radio. He
- 1:30:42was on the ESPN show out of Chicago, and he basically said, oh
- 1:30:45man, can I take a shot at the NFL? And they started saying,
- 1:30:48showing this game not on cable. It's low class, it's not cool.
- 1:30:51They just being greedy peas. And I'm glad some of the NFL players
- 1:30:56are taking some shots at them. So there were some players I didn't I
- 1:30:59mean, was taking shots. I didn't really hear any players upset about it.
- 1:31:02That's why I'm just wondering where, Because like most of you guys,
- 1:31:06you've been there, you see where it's going. You know where it's going
- 1:31:11as far as with the league and the growth. But you know, Charles,
- 1:31:15being who he is, he has a platform. So if he says
- 1:31:18something that stands out. So, I mean, what are the Where were
- 1:31:23some players to anybody here any where? Any players was upset about this?
- 1:31:29Yes, I haven't heard anybody going record to say that they have any issue.
- 1:31:34Yeah, So that's what I said it was really nothing from But I
- 1:31:39don't. I don't think the issue is with the NFL players. They're under
- 1:31:44contract to play the schedules that their teams have. I think the fans.
- 1:31:49When they created the NFL, it was meant for the fans. It used
- 1:31:54to be the great American getaway. We just sit in front of our televisions
- 1:31:58and that was the thing. You could bring the game into your homes.
- 1:32:00You didn't have to go to the stadium if you couldn't afford a ticket.
- 1:32:03And then the tickets have gone up, and then all of that stuff has
- 1:32:09further separated the fan from viewing the game. And now you're going to put
- 1:32:14it on a streaming service. And it wasn't like we're gonna put the NFL
- 1:32:16package on YouTube next season and everybody gets a chance to prepare. It's,
- 1:32:21hey, these are the people that are playing on Sunday. But about that.
- 1:32:29We're gonna still play the game, but we're just gonna play it at
- 1:32:32our house. And you got to pay to get into my house to see
- 1:32:36it. So that that sold it for one hundred and ten. And he
- 1:32:42was upset because he said, they make twenty billion and you're gonna sell it,
- 1:32:45sell it out. So well, you one game you just said,
- 1:32:50you just said the twenty seven million of thirty some odd million subscribers watched that
- 1:32:57only rewarded whatever greed that the NFL and NBC had in mind. That it
- 1:33:02just was amped up. It's gonna amp it up even more. Yeah,
- 1:33:05And that's why I said to me, the problem was that when you did
- 1:33:11it, if you had announced, if you make an announcement after the season
- 1:33:15over that to watch playoff games next year, you have to have this,
- 1:33:21then that's fine, just like they deal with like they announced it. See
- 1:33:27if you want to watch Thursday night football if you have Prime. Correct.
- 1:33:30And then everybody went and started everybody asking them, Hey, you got Prime,
- 1:33:33you got Prime. You invite me for dinner, but I gotta buy
- 1:33:36myself aware. Oh yeah, the denner's ready, but you're gonna have to
- 1:33:40buy something to eat it with. Uh, the Dallas Cowboys. Greg,
- 1:33:44I'm sorry, we got to touch on it just a little bit. We
- 1:33:45gave you a little time. You look a little happier. Now, your
- 1:33:48eyes aren't as sad. Reality is setting in and give us a minute,
- 1:33:53though, Greg. Right back then, the biggest thing with the Dallas.
- 1:33:56Is not so much that they lost the game as much as how fast as
- 1:34:00they get to firing people's storylines, cutting people like they're want But I'm saying
- 1:34:10how quickly they get You haven't heard any of that from the Rams loss last
- 1:34:15night. That wasn't the storyline at the end, was it? No,
- 1:34:18No Houston law I mean Texans, I mean not Texas Cleveland loss. That
- 1:34:24wasn't the storyline. As soon as the game, before the players can get
- 1:34:28back into tunnel with the Cowboys, they somebody got to be fired. I
- 1:34:32don't understand how that works. And as though someone Mike McCarthy has not done
- 1:34:41a bad job at all for the Cowboys, asked Jerry Crows. He's done
- 1:34:46a very successful job down there. But you look at someone like Jerry Jones
- 1:34:51who's trying to he's trying to win another one before he gets out of here,
- 1:34:57and you got to have Jerry. He got time to waste. And
- 1:35:00the thing that so with the brilliance of Jerry right is because he's a brilliant
- 1:35:05marketers. He's he's one of the catalysts of why all sports have generated the
- 1:35:12money that they are. The things that he has been part of that I've
- 1:35:15heard he is pioneered that he just might not get the credit for is the
- 1:35:21sense that the one part of the puzzle you haven't removed is you wait a
- 1:35:30minute now, shots fire. The one part of all of that you keep
- 1:35:35removing every quarterinator is GMS players, coaches, chier, leeds, cities.
- 1:35:42You don't change stadiums. He's done all these things. The only part that
- 1:35:46you haven't removed since nineteen ninety seven is your constant involvement. How about them
- 1:35:55Cowboys? Ain't he the GM two? Yes? Yeah, okay, So
- 1:36:00it's amazing that everybody it's everybody else except you. You haven't removed yourself.
- 1:36:06Yes, I'm not sure how much Stephen Jones actually gets to do because he's
- 1:36:13he's like that, you know, second in command. But I don't know
- 1:36:15how much he actually he's the guy that goes when I don't feel when you
- 1:36:19bought the when you bought the first team, when you bought the team that
- 1:36:24won those three championships, that team was already in motion. Yeah. So
- 1:36:30yes, you got the credit for the three Super Bowls. Can't knock that
- 1:36:32because you were the owner at the time, but that team had already been
- 1:36:38assimilated when you got there, when you took over, what was that ninety
- 1:36:43ninety one when he bought the team, bought the team in nineteen eighty nine,
- 1:36:48because the first thing he did was fire Tom Landry. Correct, okay,
- 1:36:54and they had already drafted. They drafted Irvin and then they draft Yeah,
- 1:36:59they are right after Mike Clarvin his and then they drafted Akeman and then
- 1:37:04Emitt Smith the year after that. So I just always find it funny that
- 1:37:08everything is like, well, the Cowboys as though they super Bowl, it's
- 1:37:14perfect. Is like, it's like, why like Jimmy Johnson left, is
- 1:37:18that he felt that Jimmy Johnson was getting all the credit and not him Kraft.
- 1:37:25But in all these times since the last Super Bowl, the Cowboys have
- 1:37:29never had a team that you looked at and said, that's a definite super
- 1:37:34Bowl winning team this year that I agree. They've had some teams that you
- 1:37:42thought, Okay, this team could win the Super Bowl. They play right,
- 1:37:45but but they deal with it as though they it was a sure and
- 1:37:49I'm like, no, they they were part of about five or six teams
- 1:37:53you thought, if they was moving right, could win the Super Bowl.
- 1:37:59But people talk about him like they were. They are definitely the team and
- 1:38:04I'm like, no, this team could have won the Super Bowl and they
- 1:38:06could have done what they did yesterday as well. But they're the best team
- 1:38:12on the paper. I mean, he's got everything that you need as a
- 1:38:15GM. He's put everything in the No, he doesn't have everything. What
- 1:38:19are you talking about? Who? I mean? Receiver? They got the
- 1:38:23best offense, had the best office in the NFL. That don't mean they
- 1:38:26had all the pieces. Oh okay, I'm sorry. It's it's not a
- 1:38:29complete team. I think. I think because it took him twelve minutes to
- 1:38:32get the line back on the right, they was all banged up. That
- 1:38:36still only throws the ball to two people Ferguson and that's it. Defensively,
- 1:38:45they lost the corner back like week one, Diggs Diggs. They lost somebody
- 1:38:50else, the linebacker vander esh That hurt. So they lost pieces along the
- 1:38:58way like anybody else. But they had a good enough team to win the
- 1:39:01Super Bowl. That is true. But but they're not the best team.
- 1:39:05They're not of paper better than the forty nine er. Now, No,
- 1:39:10we'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after this. Some on this

- 1:42:38m l K Day being here for us, I want to say there there
- 1:42:43should be a game on it at least around one o'clock between Houston and Philly.
- 1:42:48Two thirty you get the Pelicans versus the mad Ricks here in Atlanta,
- 1:42:54the Spurs taking on at Atlanta. Atlanta needs to make some kind of big
- 1:42:59tray to even have a chance of having a decent season. But games all
- 1:43:03day interrupted at four point thirty by the Stellers taking on Buffalo, and tonight
- 1:43:09the Eagles and Tampa Golden State plays Memphis at six pm. The return of
- 1:43:15Draymond Green back for them. Does this set up for them to get him
- 1:43:20on the court and then maybe trade Draymond Green, maybe Clay Thompson? What
- 1:43:26were the Golden State? So will they kind of be the modern day Boston
- 1:43:30Celtics that kind of just held on to those pieces to where they couldn't do
- 1:43:34anything with them at the anybody to like who would take Draymond Maybe the Pistons,
- 1:43:44but disrespectful to send them to a team that's won only three games.
- 1:43:47Well that have some saying, but whatever they would have, you would think
- 1:43:50they would try, especially with a Clay Thompson. You know, another year
- 1:43:56or two of that and Steph is retired. Now you don't have anything.
- 1:43:59The trade, you don't have any You're back to ground zero in that situation.
- 1:44:03But Draymond is back. Carmelo Anthony says that the Denver Nuggets gave his
- 1:44:12fifteen when that is number when he was there, Yes, a number away
- 1:44:16to the joker to erase his history. He is going, we need a
- 1:44:30way to discourage people from wanting to succeed. At that point that the Joker
- 1:44:35came in, Denver had not retired. They didn't take his number out of
- 1:44:43the rafters. Did they know? They had not retire the numbers? So
- 1:44:46his number was not retired. So how did how did this become a conspiracy
- 1:44:50theory? Well, you know how it is when when you're great and then
- 1:44:58the dude to come in and be great too. He he is great,
- 1:45:00but you you'd be great first. It's just a little bit of an awkward
- 1:45:08situation because no one knew what Jokic was gonna be when he came into the
- 1:45:15league. He was second round pick, famously drafted during a Taco Bell commercial.
- 1:45:19So he for what he's done. Yeah, it's it's overshadowed what the
- 1:45:26previous guy. It just happens that way. Somebody wore twenty three before Jordan,
- 1:45:31someone wore twenty four and eight before Kobe. I mean, and it's
- 1:45:36a similar situation too with the Bucks. Johannis, where's thirty four? Ray
- 1:45:43Allen wore thirty four before then, But they're not gonna. It's how long
- 1:45:46it's not gonna? How long was Carmelo in Denver? Seven years? And
- 1:45:54seven years did they go to the NBA finals? No? Did they win?
- 1:46:00Well, that means they didn't win the conference? Uh so seven years
- 1:46:04he moved on. The jersey was not retired. I don't understand what his
- 1:46:10bad producer. You brought some of this too. What is he what would
- 1:46:14he be basing his case on? And I wanted to ask, is he
- 1:46:16saying that the Joker should be wearing his jersey because he doesn't have the game?
- 1:46:24I did number? What is that? Well, he was just saying
- 1:46:28more about like the number being given maybe too soon after he left, but
- 1:46:32it was like four years after. So the Joker is the first person to
- 1:46:35wear number fifteen since since Carmelo. Carmelo, Yes, okay, gotcha.
- 1:46:43I'm trying to see you wearing number seven right now for the Knicks. If
- 1:46:45he's gonna be upset about that, no one, no one wears. No
- 1:46:48one's wearing seven, Okay, Okay? So, because like I said,
- 1:46:53where I said, I've heard it both both sides of it is that he
- 1:46:59may never be honored by the Nuggets in any way, even though he's probably
- 1:47:05one of the five best players they've ever had. But the gap between jo
- 1:47:10Kic and him is so large that yet he is he will the people in
- 1:47:16Denver still love David Thompson mellow relaxed. Well. One thing about and we
- 1:47:21talked about this before with honoring. Uh, the Orlando Magic is retiring Shaquille
- 1:47:28O'Neill number. I don't think they should. I don't. I don't see
- 1:47:33where he didn't bring you a championship? Did he? No? He only
- 1:47:41stayed there five years. It was four four years. He worked four years.
- 1:47:46Did he win an m v P? He won rook kill the year?
- 1:47:50No? See four time All Star? No, that's that's that's not
- 1:47:56that's not he was named He was named to the fifty greatest player. Is
- 1:48:00just based on his Orlando years. That's that's not the first superstar they had.
- 1:48:06Listen to me. Let me show you because I heard this, and
- 1:48:11I heard this last night. I'm raw Saint John Saint Brown. Ain't Brown
- 1:48:20made the All Pro Team but didn't make the Pro Bowl. Right now exactly
- 1:48:27wait now I'm saying I'm trying to do that math like Pro Bowl and All
- 1:48:34Pro. So he was first team All Pro, but he was not voted
- 1:48:40to go to the Pro Bowl. I still don't understand exactly right, So
- 1:48:46Shaq is deserved all the honor. But I'm saying if you was asking me
- 1:48:50to vote, but just because it was four years, it wasn't unless in
- 1:48:57that four years there was like the Miami did how long was he in Miami?
- 1:49:02Shaq was Miami for four years and they won a champion Bam put them
- 1:49:12up there, and it can be a short period with some championships. It
- 1:49:16can't be a short period and no championship. I mean. But at the
- 1:49:21same time, though, like Orlando will retire Dawhight Howard's number. They didn't
- 1:49:28win, they have an issue number twelve, but he they went to a
- 1:49:31finals, but they didn't win a championship. But he was there what how
- 1:49:34many years? Ten? Eight? Okay, that's double shacks. Shaq went
- 1:49:42to a finals with Orlando. Yeah, but he was there four years.
- 1:49:45I mean, I don't have a problem with it. I was just gonna
- 1:49:47say, for on yoga, back to that thing as the numbers, this
- 1:49:53is what he has. And I noticed for a fact the bigger numbers are
- 1:49:58for the bigger key. Regardless of if you was a big kid and you
- 1:50:00wanted number one, those were usually came into smalls. He wore number fifteen
- 1:50:04when he was a kid in Serbia and Serb He's always wore fifteen because when
- 1:50:08he started playing, it was the biggest jersey. It was the biggest number.
- 1:50:12So he's always worre number fifteen. I'll be back more to the Sports
- 1:50:15Job Show right after this. KB be love me. Are you writing so
- 1:50:20you never have a leave from a signing because I want you and I need
- 1:50:25you and I'm down for you always. Gooding, noon, John Borwayne Born
- 1:50:30of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Gambia's coming up next, and now let's
- 1:50:35talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three quarters of Americans believe that coverage
- 1:50:40represents a critical piece of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:50:45life insurance. When I was twenty five, me and my wife were just
- 1:50:47getting started with our family and thought we lived forever. Life insurance was the
- 1:50:50last thing on my mind. What about you? Will you be leaving benefits
- 1:50:55or bills? When I was forty with a kid in college and Bill's piling
- 1:50:58up. I was worried how my family survive without me. That's what I'm
- 1:51:00in an appointment with the insurance informant. Information gives you power and life insurance
- 1:51:04gives your family security no matter what stage of life you're in. Now that
- 1:51:09I'm older, I don't worry about whether I'll leave my family with bills or
- 1:51:12benefits. The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether
- 1:51:15you earn a little or a lot, all you need is the insurance informant
- 1:51:18to help you build a foundation of security, because without you, your family
- 1:51:23will have two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:51:28Log on today benefits or bills dot com. That's benefits or bills dot
- 1:51:32com. Here's a fun fact for you. The average chameleon can point their
- 1:51:39eyes into different directions. On the other hand, the average human can't.
- 1:51:45So unless you're a chameleon, there's absolutely no way you can focus on texting
- 1:51:49and driving at the same time. So don't do it unless you're a chameleon.
- 1:51:55Visit stop Texts stopres dot org, a message brought to you by the
- 1:52:00National Highway Traffic Safety Administration Project yellow Light and the ad Council and now back
- 1:52:06to the sports John Wayne Gandy. Now it's time for the school board.
- 1:52:14When we put a spin on light and sports and how they intermingle on the
- 1:52:19Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, Sex Level Money Fun Brooklyn Sex Level of
- 1:52:34Money, Get up a call, Welcome back to the Sport Shock Show.
- 1:52:45I'm in the Sportshock Wayne KND. ESPN A lot going on with ESPN.
- 1:52:49I love ESPN. ESPN is the network that really uh developed in front of
- 1:53:00our eyes. They are the true twenty four hour They have created and really
- 1:53:08spawn anything sports since the early eighties. But controversy follows them. And it's
- 1:53:18so funny when you think of controversy following a station that basically it's just about
- 1:53:26reporting sports. The thing that is not supposed to be controversy. Basically sports
- 1:53:32happens, and unlike what the bad producer might think, sports is truly factually
- 1:53:44what happens, not what you feel, but what actually happened. That's why
- 1:53:49I love it. It's more math than it is English. When you're in
- 1:53:59school, you read a book and the teacher tells you to write a report.
- 1:54:03Four of us can read the same book and write four different reports.
- 1:54:08But in math, you either have the answer or you don't. That's kind
- 1:54:15of how sports is now. It has moved to the ram where everything with
- 1:54:19people want to talk about it. And what has pushed people like me out
- 1:54:25of dealing with a lot of people is that people want to talk about their
- 1:54:29emotion right, and I don't want to talk about your emotion. I want
- 1:54:34to talk about what actually is going on. ESPN seems to find themselves and
- 1:54:41a lot of controversy trying to add things into their world based on their personalities.
- 1:54:51You're really just supposed to be here telling me that the Trey Young is
- 1:54:57averaging twenty eight points and versus is this team he's on averaging twenty seven and
- 1:55:02he's only winning two games versus this team, and that's it coming on.
- 1:55:06Have a couple of phrases, you know, back back, back back,
- 1:55:10and be done with it. Not about his life, how many kids you
- 1:55:15know, because he had a third kid. We've done some math and we
- 1:55:17think that means he's ready for a downturn. But that's where we are.
- 1:55:23ESPN now just in all kinds of stories, whether it's from Black Lives Matter
- 1:55:29to who's the president? Now? Another scandal they're apologizing for what is shaping
- 1:55:35up to be a thirty year scheme to defraud the Sports Emmys. They've had
- 1:55:43to give back thirty seven Emmys over this thirty year period. Sounds like they
- 1:55:51were signing up extra people when an Emmy would come through that may not have
- 1:55:59qualified to receive the Emmy, but you keep adding that person's name. I
- 1:56:04have an Emmy, which still blows my mind somewhere in my life because it's
- 1:56:12so unexpected, right, because if you thought you was gonna win anything,
- 1:56:15you never thought that. Because when when you was on that journey at Auburn
- 1:56:19and you went and you was like, man, they're gonna give me an
- 1:56:21Emmy for to get an envy about a game that wouldn't even I didn't even
- 1:56:27know they gave that's Americasess. Well, I'm just letting anyone who knows me
- 1:56:34know that. I'm even still like, what are you talking about? Emmy?
- 1:56:39So, and here they are signing. They're wrongfully signing up I guess
- 1:56:43different team members maybe when they were creating fake names, and then when they
- 1:56:49win the Emmy, they re engrave the trophy with the on air talent.
- 1:56:57So like Lee Corso had some Emmy's taken away, but they didn't submit Lee
- 1:57:02Corso's name for that award. It would be like Lee Kirk or Lee Courtney
- 1:57:11or something like that. And then they win it and then they just you
- 1:57:15know, change it and put his name on it. So they were doing
- 1:57:16it like that with several on air talent. And that's what I mean.
- 1:57:20I thought we were just reporting sports. No had it. It was separate
- 1:57:28awards for like production and then on air talent. So like we need to
- 1:57:32get our on air talents, So they're submitting production nominees. So they're producing
- 1:57:40credentials. Now that's what you get an award for just a lot going on
- 1:57:50at ESPN that you just when when they were in the heyday, you just
- 1:57:56didn't see. But they've added so many sensibility these two the network that is
- 1:58:01starting to kind of distract again from sports from sports. Yeah, and for
- 1:58:08something that is just as I said, more factual base, not your opinion
- 1:58:13of what a candidate might be doing. Yeah, either this guy is catching
- 1:58:18touchdowns mc kenny or he does not catch touchdown but no here, well,
- 1:58:25well you know kid, that's that's pulled himself up by spootstraps and comes where
- 1:58:28he comes from. You could drop fourteen passes instill. They were actually going
- 1:58:33like des when Howard was upset because how they were treated. They all had
- 1:58:36to turn in there, they had to go pick it went the Lee Corso's
- 1:58:40house picked up as Emmy, I mean, can you only imagine like the
- 1:58:43repo man coming to get you if you're doing it in the shade, and
- 1:58:46then it get brought to the light and everybody have to give up what they
- 1:58:50were supposedly have won. ESPN and NFL. As we go out on today's
- 1:58:58show, as An advances talks, uh, the NFL is trying to buy
- 1:59:03part of some of the equity of ESPN, which in that conflict of interest,
- 1:59:10don't you'll own the NFL network? Am I lost? Or maybe it's
- 1:59:15different. No, I think the NFL network does. So that's just football.
- 1:59:18See ESPN is all the other sports. So we're gonna we're trying to
- 1:59:23get in all the other sports they're gonna broadcast, We're gonna, we're gonna
- 1:59:28Why don't you just football rebrand your network. You're already own a network what
- 1:59:33we call we have an ESPN Plus and an ESPN Deportas and the ESPN and
- 1:59:40so the NFL has two NFL three NFL deportas, and we all know the
- 1:59:48truth is he will throw your in the ocean. It's time to wrap things
- 1:59:54up on the Sports Judge Show with Wayne when you designs an ocean to give
- 2:00:26us sports shock a minute to Vin, as we have spoken about this entire
- 2:00:30show, you have a lot of sports options today on m l K Day.
- 2:00:35Two NFL games later in the day, and a litany of NBA games
- 2:00:42all day long. If you missed any of the show, remember when we
- 2:00:46go off, you can go to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Audible, Amazon
- 2:00:51Podcasts, Deezer, or iHeartRadio and catch the show again. Come at you,
- 2:00:58Greg, Big Kenny, Bad Producer. Thank you for your contributions to
- 2:01:02day MLK as symbol in our country of strife. A man who was willing
- 2:01:11to put his life on the line to create change in America, Well,
- 2:01:19he'd be shamed. A former Washington Wizards Ryan Robins, the twenty one year
- 2:01:28old was let go last week from the Washington Wizards. He has been charged
- 2:01:35with shoplifting from Target. Say he was stealing some household items petty theft.
- 2:01:45I guess he needed some bleach or something. But the sad part of it
- 2:01:51is this wasn't the only occasion they said got him home. They back three
- 2:01:58or four different times. Ain't got me on. They got him on TAKEE
- 2:02:01seven times time I'm stealing at Target. Maybe he got a problem. I
- 2:02:08mean that is a great defense. He was a number forty four pick in
- 2:02:12the draft two years ago, but multiple times he has went and stolen from
- 2:02:17Target. I guess he haven't seen the prices, did he did? He
- 2:02:24still those prices? Come on, man, did he get successful people and
- 2:02:28you still grab? It's why he was in that Ryan Rollins, That's that's
- 2:02:33that's hard man, I mean petty larceny. At the Alexandria District Court,
- 2:02:40they have charged him with multiple occasions of stealing over the last year from Target.
- 2:02:46I don't know, never went to Walmart. It's always Target. But
- 2:02:54hey, that was playing Walmart. You know that lost for Bitchinaza. So
- 2:02:57for that, Ryan Rollins, Fuck stop, Ryan, All I can tell
- 2:03:03you it's an electioneer. Ryan. We hope y'all have a great m l
- 2:03:12K Day. If you're somewhere cold state warm from the Sports Jock Show, Peace
