- 1:08Speaker 1: We do love.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Getting emails from me also or d ms or you know.
- 1:13Speaker 2: I see a lot of stuff in the Facebook group
- 1:14Speaker 2: where I'm like, should we bring these to the dear BONI.
- 1:18Speaker 2: Sometimes they're about anal sex so.
- 1:21Speaker 1: Oh my gosh.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:22Speaker 5: Sometimes podcast we do we want a technical term?
- 1:29Speaker 1: Do you want to know what I'm doing? Which is
- 1:31Speaker 1: like funny?
- 1:39Speaker 4: So I did this thing with Joe Jonas this week
- 1:41Speaker 4: and I have a polaroid picture with him. They gave
- 1:43Speaker 4: me the polaroid and I put it up on my like.
- 1:46Speaker 2: Car, no dash, like.
- 1:50Speaker 4: Not dash, but it's like like where my little screen
- 1:52Speaker 4: is like, yeah, my car. Yeah, I'm waiting to see
- 1:55Speaker 4: If Robbie notices.
- 1:57Speaker 2: It would be really strange and be doesn't notice that
- 2:01Speaker 2: if he gets into your car and isn't like you can't.
- 2:03Speaker 3: See navigation, Like it's right in front of everything you
- 2:05Speaker 3: need to see.
- 2:06Speaker 1: First of all, I don't need navigation. I got it all.
- 2:13Speaker 2: But yeah, that's funny.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I know that was pretty funny myself.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I saw a really funny TikTok because his new video
- 2:19Speaker 2: is about like it's a song about falling in love
- 2:21Speaker 2: and by heart, heart by heart, and it's this video
- 2:24Speaker 2: and he's like making out with this girl and stuff,
- 2:26Speaker 2: and people are like, I'm married with kids, And I
- 2:29Speaker 2: felt physically sick sing that Joe Jonas kissed another girl
- 2:33Speaker 2: in this video, and all the comments were like, I'm
- 2:36Speaker 2: so concerned at how it made me feel like I
- 2:38Speaker 2: was actually being cheated.
- 2:41Speaker 4: I don't my heart actually hurt for him in that video.
- 2:43Speaker 4: At the end, I was like, oh, I didn't watch it. Oh,
- 2:48Speaker 4: I just saw clips from the TikTok oh, my gosh.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Immediately yeah, now.
- 2:54Speaker 3: I watched five seconds of his video.
- 2:56Speaker 4: I'm sure, yeah, great thing is where it gets you
- 2:59Speaker 4: in the and you're like ooo, but I'm not like
- 3:02Speaker 4: a die hard.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Don't say it.
- 3:04Speaker 2: I'm saying. I'm not like. I don't I'm not like
- 3:06Speaker 2: I like their music, but I don't need to go
- 3:08Speaker 2: watch a video like I used to. Sometimes I watch
- 3:10Speaker 2: like old Britney Spears videos and stuff. But yeah, but
- 3:15Speaker 2: I'll go watch it. I mean, you got he piqued
- 3:17Speaker 2: my interests.
- 3:18Speaker 1: Okay, good?
- 3:19Speaker 2: Shall we with the dear bonya from anonymous.
- 3:22Speaker 3: I moved to a new city two years ago to
- 3:23Speaker 3: try something different while working remotely, not for a job,
- 3:26Speaker 3: not for a relationship. I became close with my childhood
- 3:29Speaker 3: friend's friend group, and at first it was fun, welcoming,
- 3:31Speaker 3: but over time I realized this group is toxic, drama, gossip.
- 3:35Speaker 3: People get upset over the smallest things. I heard through
- 3:38Speaker 3: the grapevine that one of the friends is mad at
- 3:40Speaker 3: me for not being supportive enough after her minor car accident.
- 3:43Speaker 3: I reached out and offered her help several times. This
- 3:46Speaker 3: kind of thing happens a lot with a lot of
- 3:47Speaker 3: them projecting their emotions and creating tension that doesn't make sense.
- 3:50Speaker 3: I've noticed as my own life is going well, healthy relationship,
- 3:53Speaker 3: I got a promotion, some of them seem resentful or
- 3:56Speaker 3: unhappy with where they're at. Even though I avoid drama,
- 3:59Speaker 3: I still end getting pulled into it, and it's hurtful.
- 4:02Speaker 3: It started to take a toll on my self esteem.
- 4:04Speaker 3: I feel like I'm constantly being judged or told them
- 4:06Speaker 3: not doing enough. It's a friend. I feel trapped because
- 4:08Speaker 3: I still have a year left on a lease with
- 4:10Speaker 3: two of these people. My girlfriend and I have talked
- 4:12Speaker 3: about moving, but we're unsure where. We're not tied down
- 4:15Speaker 3: by work, but we want to be near family. I
- 4:17Speaker 3: know the city isn't right for me anymore, but I
- 4:19Speaker 3: feel lost trying to figure out what is right for me.
- 4:21Speaker 3: I'm twenty seven, I'm stuck. I'm confused. How do I
- 4:23Speaker 3: figure out where to live or where to go? First
- 4:28Speaker 3: of all, there's a lot of really nice freedom in
- 4:30Speaker 3: that you could live. The working room only thing is
- 4:33Speaker 3: interesting to me because you could live. I know, what
- 4:36Speaker 3: an interesting concept. I know.
- 4:38Speaker 1: I often think of that too.
- 4:41Speaker 3: Because I'm stuck here. Even though some of the people
- 4:43Speaker 3: who work for this company during the pandemic moved far away,
- 4:47Speaker 3: which is an odd choice. I think when it's never
- 4:49Speaker 3: it's the company hasn't said this is now a permanent situation.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I think it's a weird move. But in your life.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Situation time, if I may please, we were all under
- 4:58Speaker 4: the impression we were going to be working remotely like forever.
- 5:01Speaker 3: I was not under that impression.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Oh I was.
- 5:04Speaker 5: Yeah, you thought the pandemic was going to go forever
- 5:07Speaker 5: or yeah, like I thought like whatever, like this was
- 5:10Speaker 5: going on, like it was just going to keep going
- 5:12Speaker 5: and we would just like figure out how to work
- 5:14Speaker 5: not around a lot of people.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Yeah it was dark.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Dark, Yeah really Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 3: So that I went and then play sorry to commandeer
- 5:23Speaker 3: this one, But also have a quote that I think
- 5:25Speaker 3: you're going to enjoy for this situation, anonymous. Some people
- 5:28Speaker 3: don't like you because your spirit irritates their demons.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Isn't that a good quote again for the people in
- 5:35Speaker 1: the bad.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Some people don't like you because your spirit irritates their demons.
- 5:39Speaker 3: It sounds like that's happening with a lot of these friends.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Yeah. I think when people when their lives aren't in
- 5:47Speaker 2: a content place or happy place. They literally cannot handle
- 5:52Speaker 2: being around people who are content and thriving, and so
- 5:56Speaker 2: it's like you either are subjecting yourself because these are
- 5:59Speaker 2: your friends and I'm holding quotes up because you just
- 6:03Speaker 2: feel like they're your only option and it feels harder
- 6:06Speaker 2: to go out and meet new people. But it's also
- 6:08Speaker 2: it's energy that's like totally bringing you down. Like if
- 6:11Speaker 2: you surround yourself with people who are always negative and
- 6:13Speaker 2: it's always drama and all they do is talk bad
- 6:16Speaker 2: about people, it's going to affect you. And especially if
- 6:21Speaker 2: you're in a good space. It's like why put yourself
- 6:24Speaker 2: It's like, why take a shower and then put yourself
- 6:27Speaker 2: in the dirt? In the dirt? Why shower and go
- 6:30Speaker 2: sit in the dirt? No clue, there's no reason.
- 6:34Speaker 1: Oh that reminds me. I know, Yeah we can get
- 6:37Speaker 1: back there.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Yeah we'll get back to that. But I think that
- 6:40Speaker 2: you are in a position where it seems like you're
- 6:43Speaker 2: thriving in your personal life, and it's so important to
- 6:47Speaker 2: either have conversations about like, hey, I just be honest
- 6:52Speaker 2: with them, Like if I was always being negative and
- 6:55Speaker 2: I wasn't self aware enough to realize that I was
- 6:58Speaker 2: always being negative. I would hope that someone would be like,
- 7:01Speaker 2: are you okay? Like, I'd hope someone like Tanya would
- 7:03Speaker 2: check me and be like, it's a hard conversation because
- 7:06Speaker 2: you're like, I don't know what you're going through. But
- 7:07Speaker 2: if they were if Tanya was like, Hey, I just
- 7:10Speaker 2: feel like everything's been a little bit negative and downer.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Are you doing okay? It might just bring awareness to
- 7:17Speaker 2: how they're speaking and what they're talking about.
- 7:20Speaker 4: Yeah, I agree, but I also think not everybody's like receptive.
- 7:24Speaker 1: To that type of stuff, do you know what I mean? So, yeah, and.
- 7:27Speaker 2: It's a risk, But at the same time, what do
- 7:28Speaker 2: you The option is either you have the conversational where
- 7:31Speaker 2: you can maintain a friendship with them, or you just
- 7:35Speaker 2: subtly distant, distance yourself and meet new people that align
- 7:38Speaker 2: with you.
- 7:38Speaker 4: You can also distance yourself but not cut them off,
- 7:41Speaker 4: do you know what I mean?
- 7:43Speaker 2: But if I'm saying, if they're like, hey, why have
- 7:44Speaker 2: you not been hanging out with this? Why have you
- 7:46Speaker 2: been distant? I think it's like, Hey, I've noticed there's
- 7:48Speaker 2: a lot of drama and negativity in this in this group,
- 7:52Speaker 2: and I'm not in a place where I want to
- 7:55Speaker 2: feed into that or invite that in So I've just
- 7:57Speaker 2: I've noticed I've intentionally distanced myself and I love you guys.
- 8:01Speaker 2: It's not like I don't want to have y'all as friends.
- 8:03Speaker 2: It's just hanging out with you causes more angst angst,
- 8:07Speaker 2: yeah than I want.
- 8:09Speaker 1: Yeah, nobody wants angst.
- 8:11Speaker 6: And also maybe you just find someone to sub sublet
- 8:14Speaker 6: your place and find another place to live, a better
- 8:18Speaker 6: roommate situation like Alaska.
- 8:21Speaker 2: I don't know about Alaska. Maybe yeah, but she said
- 8:25Speaker 2: she has a healthy relationship, so I don't know if
- 8:27Speaker 2: that means she they're like bringing reship. But I'm saying, like,
- 8:32Speaker 2: how fun to go maybe move somewhere fresh and stuff together. Yeah,
- 8:39Speaker 2: but we truly wish you the best. I think that's
- 8:42Speaker 2: really hard because you're at that age where it feels like,
- 8:44Speaker 2: how do you meet friends as an adult? Like, that's
- 8:47Speaker 2: the age where you really feel it, I think, and
- 8:49Speaker 2: I mean, I think that's when I met you at
- 8:51Speaker 2: twenty seven.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It is.
- 8:53Speaker 2: It's when life will bring you your best, most cherished friendships.
- 8:57Speaker 1: I agree.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Well, that really ties nicely into the.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Next one is Jojo and Allie.
- 9:01Speaker 1: I'm at twenty seven.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah, twenty six and twenty seven.
- 9:05Speaker 4: You were given off some pheromones. At twenty six, twenty
- 9:07Speaker 4: se I.
- 9:08Speaker 2: Was giving I need friends.
- 9:10Speaker 3: It ties in quite nicely with what we're talking about
- 9:12Speaker 3: high scrubbing and team I love you all, but listeners
- 9:14Speaker 3: at the beginning, I feel like y'all are my besties.
- 9:17Speaker 3: I know every one of you is happily paired up now,
- 9:19Speaker 3: but Becca and Tyny, when you were still single, how
- 9:21Speaker 3: did you deal. I'm twenty nine and all of my
- 9:24Speaker 3: friends are engaged or married in the last two years.
- 9:26Speaker 3: I'm the token single friend, and I'm personally content with it.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I only have two good friends left that are single,
- 9:31Speaker 3: and I love them, but I can't do everything with them.
- 9:33Speaker 3: Even my married engaged friends are good about including me,
- 9:36Speaker 3: but more and more I'm feeling left out. I don't
- 9:38Speaker 3: know what's going to happen, but it still stings. For example,
- 9:41Speaker 3: talking about Fourth of July plants, I just found out
- 9:43Speaker 3: a group of my besties, three couples who recently married.
- 9:45Speaker 3: When engaged, they've already booked a cabin for the weekend.
- 9:48Speaker 3: They never even mentioned it to me. Now I totally
- 9:50Speaker 3: get it. I wouldn't even want a seventh wheel for
- 9:52Speaker 3: the weekend, but I was still hurt when I found out.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Now I'm feeling like, what do I do now? How
- 9:56Speaker 3: do I find new single friends at twenty nine? Am
- 9:59Speaker 3: I going to feel left out like this until I
- 10:01Speaker 3: get a partner to bring to these events? Even when
- 10:03Speaker 3: they do invite me to a casual, casual hang at
- 10:06Speaker 3: a bar or something, it becomes a couple's retreat plus me,
- 10:08Speaker 3: and that gets old. Will have any advice, You guys
- 10:10Speaker 3: are the best.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It's so funny because I even though I'm in a relationship,
- 10:17Speaker 2: so it's different than what she's going through. But there's
- 10:19Speaker 2: been a lot of big events where Haley's been on
- 10:21Speaker 2: like a work trip or not been able to go
- 10:23Speaker 2: to things. And I just love my friends and their
- 10:27Speaker 2: partners so much. I never feel like, well, Tanya, Robbie
- 10:30Speaker 2: and Tanya told me I'm not a third whell, I'm
- 10:32Speaker 2: just a wheel, So they've never made me feel like
- 10:34Speaker 2: it's the third wheel. But I feel like my friends
- 10:37Speaker 2: all have partners that have never even if I don't
- 10:40Speaker 2: have Hayley with me, they've never made me feel like
- 10:42Speaker 2: I'm like ast draggler or like inconvenience to the group.
- 10:47Speaker 2: And I also think I was twenty nine when I
- 10:49Speaker 2: met Hailey, so I think that you're in a season
- 10:52Speaker 2: where maybe it's right around the corner. And also I
- 10:56Speaker 2: think it's totally normal and fine to want to meet
- 10:58Speaker 2: people who are in the same life season as you
- 11:00Speaker 2: meet people who are single and put yourself out there
- 11:02Speaker 2: and go do things that you love to do, because
- 11:05Speaker 2: that's how you meet people with like interest bumblebff scrubbing
- 11:10Speaker 2: in Facebook group.
- 11:11Speaker 4: Yeah, I really think there is nothing wrong with making
- 11:14Speaker 4: new friends as adults that are in the same life
- 11:15Speaker 4: phase as you, because like that, I remember I was
- 11:17Speaker 4: like so sad, like right after college because all my
- 11:21Speaker 4: friends just started getting married, Like all my college friends
- 11:23Speaker 4: just like married babies, like that was that was the path.
- 11:26Speaker 4: And I remember coming back on like a flight, specifically
- 11:29Speaker 4: from a baby shower that I was at from one
- 11:31Speaker 4: of my friends, and I was just like crying hysterically
- 11:32Speaker 4: because I was like so sad to be single and
- 11:35Speaker 4: just like.
- 11:36Speaker 1: I wanted to be in a relationship because I did.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I felt so left out and that was the only reason,
- 11:41Speaker 4: do you know what I mean?
- 11:42Speaker 1: Like everything else is going great, My career was going great.
- 11:44Speaker 4: I was loving my life, but I just felt left
- 11:46Speaker 4: out of like that life cycle. And I made a
- 11:50Speaker 4: lot of great single friends in LA that were all
- 11:53Speaker 4: like my season of life. And I don't know, It's
- 11:56Speaker 4: like kind of it's funny because I'm entering into like
- 11:59Speaker 4: a news wanting to enter into a new season of
- 12:01Speaker 4: like having a baby and starting a family, and like
- 12:04Speaker 4: none of my friends are in that phase of life
- 12:07Speaker 4: right now, right so I feel like I'm gonna have
- 12:09Speaker 4: to make yes soon some mom friends that like are
- 12:12Speaker 4: in that baby toddler phase of life.
- 12:15Speaker 1: Do you know what I mean.
- 12:16Speaker 4: It's like it's always evolving, Like your life is always
- 12:18Speaker 4: needing to like make new friends, not necessarily get rid
- 12:21Speaker 4: of the old, no, just like.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Have connections with people who are going through the same things.
- 12:25Speaker 2: I told I was thinking about that for Ali, like
- 12:28Speaker 2: she's really in our big friend group. She's the first
- 12:31Speaker 2: one to get pregnant, and so I'm like it's going
- 12:34Speaker 2: to be natural for her to make friends with people
- 12:37Speaker 2: who are able to relate to what she's going through
- 12:40Speaker 2: as a new mom. And same with you. And and
- 12:43Speaker 2: I've said this before that I think all my friends
- 12:45Speaker 2: are going to be in that season wanting to have babies,
- 12:47Speaker 2: and I don't know that I want that, and so
- 12:49Speaker 2: I'm going to have to seek out people who have
- 12:53Speaker 2: the same interest that I have, yeah, to like have
- 12:56Speaker 2: those connections. So I think that's just life and you.
- 12:59Speaker 4: And a huge shift when I met Robbie and I
- 13:02Speaker 4: had step kids involved in my life because I feel
- 13:05Speaker 4: like I didn't know in the beginning, like are my
- 13:08Speaker 4: friends going to want to hang out when when we
- 13:10Speaker 4: have the step kids, like you know what I mean,
- 13:12Speaker 4: Like do we do I have my friends come over
- 13:14Speaker 4: and do we do barbecues together?
- 13:15Speaker 1: Like I never I didn't really know that balance.
- 13:17Speaker 4: And now it's just like one big happy family, right
- 13:20Speaker 4: and everybody just comes and it is what it is.
- 13:23Speaker 4: But that was an adjustment for me too, because I
- 13:25Speaker 4: went from like being single to being like in a
- 13:28Speaker 4: relationship with kids involved.
- 13:29Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 13:30Speaker 4: So that was like very yeah, big jar jarring.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:36Speaker 2: And I also she said she's content, like she's not
- 13:38Speaker 2: even necessarily like, oh my gosh, I need to be
- 13:40Speaker 2: in a relationship. It's more so just like all of
- 13:42Speaker 2: her best friends are in a relationship. And I think
- 13:44Speaker 2: that it's You're in a really nice place of being
- 13:48Speaker 2: content with your life. So I think you just find
- 13:50Speaker 2: people who are also content with where they are in
- 13:52Speaker 2: life and have similar interests. And I also think embrace
- 13:57Speaker 2: being the like taking the one that's like taking care
- 13:59Speaker 2: of Like when I go alone with all my friends,
- 14:01Speaker 2: they all take care of me. They're always like, oh,
- 14:04Speaker 2: ultra making sure I'm okay. I'm like you guys. We're
- 14:07Speaker 2: good here, she's around, she's just working. Should we take
- 14:15Speaker 2: a break.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I think that'd be great.
- 14:17Speaker 1: Okay, here's a teas.
- 14:18Speaker 3: Here's the teas coming up next. Married bestie has a crush.
- 14:22Speaker 2: WHOA wow, you left us on the edge of our
- 14:42Speaker 2: seat with that teas mark.
- 14:45Speaker 3: All right, anonymous, love you all, but listening for years.
- 14:47Speaker 3: I have two besties going back to middle school. We're
- 14:50Speaker 3: in our late twenties now. One of the three of
- 14:52Speaker 3: us got married last year. Are married. Bestie drunkenly admitted
- 14:55Speaker 3: on a girl's night that she has feelings for her coworker.
- 14:58Speaker 3: She has a job where they spend many hours. It's
- 15:00Speaker 3: just the two of them, so I can see how
- 15:01Speaker 3: you could get very close. But this was shocking news.
- 15:05Speaker 3: He's also not conventionally attractive. Sorry, so it's not just
- 15:08Speaker 3: that she thinks he's hot. She specifically said feelings. Married
- 15:12Speaker 3: bestie recently bought a house and moved farther away. She
- 15:15Speaker 3: and her husband are trying for a baby this year.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Do we think it's just called feet panic about the
- 15:20Speaker 3: lifestyle changes? We haven't all hung out in person since
- 15:23Speaker 3: she said this? What would you all do to me
- 15:25Speaker 3: and my other bestie? Pretend we never heard this information?
- 15:27Speaker 1: Yes?
- 15:27Speaker 3: Do we chalk it up to drunk nonsense although she
- 15:29Speaker 3: seemed to be aware of what she was saying. Or
- 15:31Speaker 3: do we confront her about it? I would never tell
- 15:33Speaker 3: her husband, But now I'm in a weird spot of
- 15:34Speaker 3: not knowing what to say to her. I'm not even
- 15:36Speaker 3: sure she remembers telling us, thank you.
- 15:38Speaker 4: You pretend like you never heard it. You don't know
- 15:41Speaker 4: what she's talking about. You can't What are you gonna do?
- 15:44Speaker 4: Confront her?
- 15:46Speaker 2: I would just be asking questions, how's the coworker situation?
- 15:51Speaker 2: Like if you told me you had a crush on Mark?
- 15:54Speaker 3: Understandable?
- 15:55Speaker 4: I would go.
- 15:57Speaker 1: I would be like, I can't, how's the crush on Mark?
- 16:00Speaker 7: Like?
- 16:00Speaker 2: I'd be like, what's going on with that? Because I'm
- 16:02Speaker 2: nosy and want to know, like where your head like
- 16:06Speaker 2: is like, I guess I would be checking in, just
- 16:08Speaker 2: like I would like I want to just all this
- 16:10Speaker 2: sudden ignore. You would never just ignore that if I
- 16:12Speaker 2: told you something really deep about my feelings about anything,
- 16:15Speaker 2: you would never just like act like you never heard.
- 16:17Speaker 2: You'd follow up and ask questions about it.
- 16:20Speaker 4: So I'd be like, Hey, Becka, how's your crush on Mark?
- 16:23Speaker 2: You have the crush I'll be on Easton. My crush
- 16:27Speaker 2: will be on Easton.
- 16:28Speaker 4: So I'll be like, Becca, how's your crush on Easton?
- 16:30Speaker 4: Have you talked talked to Haley about it?
- 16:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'd be like, I don't know. I don't know what
- 16:34Speaker 2: to do. We're spending so much time together in the
- 16:37Speaker 2: stew in the studio, but that is weird. I think
- 16:41Speaker 2: the problem with that type of work relationship is when
- 16:45Speaker 2: you're solo time with someone, it puts you in a
- 16:48Speaker 2: compromist position no matter what. And I think that I
- 16:54Speaker 2: don't think that the best friends should or the anonymous
- 16:57Speaker 2: should say anything or obviously don't tell the husband or anyone.
- 17:00Speaker 2: But I definitely think it's normal best friend behavior to
- 17:03Speaker 2: be like, Hey, what's going on with your feelings for
- 17:06Speaker 2: your crush at work?
- 17:09Speaker 3: I've heard relationship experts say that this is perfectly normal,
- 17:12Speaker 3: it happens. In fact, I just brought up the old
- 17:16Speaker 3: Ai Surgeru. It's normal for a married person to have
- 17:18Speaker 3: a crush on a coworker, attraction, infatuation, or natural human experiences.
- 17:22Speaker 3: It's common to be drawn to others. It's just crucial
- 17:26Speaker 3: to distinguish a casual crush and a situation that could
- 17:28Speaker 3: jeopardize a marriage.
- 17:30Speaker 8: They're usually like a very brief thing.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Too sad. That would make me so sad if I
- 17:35Speaker 1: like knew that.
- 17:36Speaker 2: Well, it's also like you don't You can't control. You
- 17:40Speaker 2: can't control attraction or feelings. You control on how you
- 17:44Speaker 2: act on it.
- 17:45Speaker 1: And but but but no, I feel like.
- 17:52Speaker 2: You mean to tell me. You meet Robbie. You're working
- 17:55Speaker 2: with Robbie and he you're both married, and you're working
- 17:59Speaker 2: side by side alone, and you see those hands in action,
- 18:02Speaker 2: typing on a keyboard.
- 18:04Speaker 4: You're not married to Yes, Garth, you married Garth. Okay,
- 18:08Speaker 4: so I'm married to Garth. Okay, and I meet Robbie.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:13Speaker 4: So the thing is my vagina tingles belong to Garth,
- 18:17Speaker 4: My everything belongs to Garth.
- 18:19Speaker 2: You can control that.
- 18:22Speaker 4: My heart controls that, and my heart is with Garth.
- 18:25Speaker 4: When Garth has my heart, no vagina is not tingling.
- 18:29Speaker 2: Because you're just not. Your heart is the reason why
- 18:32Speaker 2: you put distance there. That your heart is the reason
- 18:35Speaker 2: why she should go. Hey, I'm spending too much one
- 18:38Speaker 2: on one time. It's like confusing my brain. It's I
- 18:41Speaker 2: don't want it to affect my marriage. So I'm either're
- 18:43Speaker 2: going to remove myself or suggest that we are in
- 18:45Speaker 2: a space where we're working remotely and we're not physically together.
- 18:49Speaker 2: That's what your heart does because your brain does not
- 18:52Speaker 2: know how to differentially my.
- 18:54Speaker 4: Brains with Garth to my heart and my brain are
- 18:57Speaker 4: with you telling us that if you're married to Garth
- 18:59Speaker 4: and you all those hands on.
- 19:01Speaker 3: Robbie, they would just look like normal hands to you. Yes, wow, wow.
- 19:05Speaker 4: Look I'm on the I've only been with what we've
- 19:08Speaker 4: been together now for five and a half years. Okay,
- 19:12Speaker 4: I don't know what it's like to be married for
- 19:14Speaker 4: ten years, for twenty years, for thirty years.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 19:16Speaker 4: But all I'm saying is myself, in this very moment,
- 19:20Speaker 4: my head and my heart belonged to Garth, even Robbie
- 19:23Speaker 4: and his hot ass hands come around me.
- 19:26Speaker 1: They're not doing it.
- 19:28Speaker 3: You would go to Arth. I wouldn't even know radars off.
- 19:31Speaker 1: It's with Garth.
- 19:32Speaker 3: Seventy four percent of full time employees and committed relationships
- 19:35Speaker 3: revealed they've been attracted to en office colleague.
- 19:38Speaker 8: Attracted is different than a crash though, perhaps Yeah?
- 19:40Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 19:40Speaker 2: Well, and also she said she said it's feelings. She said, yeah,
- 19:44Speaker 2: she did say, is.
- 19:47Speaker 1: Like I was, like finding someone attractive. There's crush and
- 19:51Speaker 1: then there's feelings.
- 19:52Speaker 2: I think I'd rather I would rather I would hate
- 19:56Speaker 2: any of it. But if I had to choose, I'd
- 19:58Speaker 2: rather someone just find someone at track, Yes, because then
- 20:01Speaker 2: I could be like, yuh, she's borty y. Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 3: Well, it's got to be people Hailey finds attractive.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I mean, she better not.
- 20:10Speaker 3: All right to move or not to move. I've been
- 20:14Speaker 3: a big fan since COVID after my best friend introduced
- 20:17Speaker 3: me to you guys. Some days, you guys help me
- 20:19Speaker 3: get out of bed in the morning. I feel like
- 20:21Speaker 3: laughing with friends brightens my spirits on hard days. Well,
- 20:23Speaker 3: in twenty six I married my high school's sweetheart. We
- 20:26Speaker 3: broke up for two years, like Tany and Robbie, but
- 20:28Speaker 3: I always knew he was my person. I'm twenty six,
- 20:31Speaker 3: he's twenty five. He's a project manager in construction, which
- 20:34Speaker 3: offered the chance to train to become VP of his
- 20:36Speaker 3: company in Florida. His reaction was, no way. We've built
- 20:40Speaker 3: a life in Missouri with our support system and our
- 20:42Speaker 3: family and our lifelong friends. But I said, maybe considerate.
- 20:44Speaker 3: Becoming a VP of twenty seven is rare and you
- 20:47Speaker 3: deserve it. We're now leaning towards staying, but we're unsure.
- 20:51Speaker 3: Parents are nearby, friend groups, nearby, best friend. I've never
- 20:54Speaker 3: pictured life without them. The idea of leaving makes me emotional.
- 20:58Speaker 3: At the same time, I've always done with all we's
- 21:00Speaker 3: don't was expect that. I've never taken a leap like this,
- 21:02Speaker 3: and part of me wants to prove to myself that
- 21:04Speaker 3: I could. I'm a mental health counselor just finished grad school.
- 21:07Speaker 3: I can get licensed in Florida, which is an issue,
- 21:09Speaker 3: but hey, I could do that. My mind is spinning.
- 21:11Speaker 3: I'd love to hear your thoughts on what to do.
- 21:13Speaker 2: Love you all so much, Missouri, your family, your bff
- 21:19Speaker 2: are not going anywhere. Nope, you can move to Florida.
- 21:23Speaker 2: He can become the VP, which is epic at twenty seven,
- 21:26Speaker 2: and y'all could live there for however long makes sense,
- 21:29Speaker 2: like a year, and if you hate it, you can
- 21:32Speaker 2: always go back. I think this is an opportunity for
- 21:35Speaker 2: y'all to expand and do something like really cool for
- 21:38Speaker 2: his career, and your family can come visit. I don't
- 21:41Speaker 2: know where in Florida. Maybe there's a beach nearby theme park,
- 21:44Speaker 2: perhaps a theme park or beach, some something cool, some
- 21:48Speaker 2: gators or something. But I think that this is the
- 21:52Speaker 2: time where you should do that, like chase those opportunities
- 21:57Speaker 2: and know that those people are going to be there.
- 21:59Speaker 6: See.
- 21:59Speaker 2: I don't know what you're friend does. See if she
- 22:01Speaker 2: wants to move to Florida, why not.
- 22:02Speaker 4: I just feel like if you don't do this, it's
- 22:04Speaker 4: gonna be something that you're going to always be thinking about,
- 22:07Speaker 4: like what if we did that? And if it sucks,
- 22:09Speaker 4: like Becca said, then just move back. But I feel
- 22:11Speaker 4: like if you don't do it, you're always going to
- 22:12Speaker 4: be questioning what if we had done that.
- 22:15Speaker 3: I think it only enhances your life to live somewhere
- 22:18Speaker 3: else in America, in the world, whatever it is. You'll
- 22:21Speaker 3: become a better and more rounded person than staying in
- 22:24Speaker 3: the same place forever.
- 22:25Speaker 2: Agree, And every single person who has ever moved anywhere
- 22:29Speaker 2: has felt fear and nerves and what sure and what
- 22:32Speaker 2: you're feeling is totally normal. But what if you don't,
- 22:35Speaker 2: You're always going to wonder.
- 22:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:38Speaker 3: The night I got into to Los Angeles from Wisconsin,
- 22:41Speaker 3: I was scared to bet. What have I done? Was
- 22:44Speaker 3: all I kept thinking to myself. It was so scary,
- 22:46Speaker 3: so scary. Yeah, but we've all done it except Tanya
- 22:49Speaker 3: Tiny grew up here, the rest of us somewhere else,
- 22:51Speaker 3: but she went.
- 22:52Speaker 4: To Arizona for ye, and I grew up in Orange County,
- 22:55Speaker 4: which is like a totally different universe from Los Angeles.
- 22:58Speaker 3: That's true.
- 22:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:59Speaker 2: All we have to say is if not now, when
- 23:03Speaker 2: and if not you, who, and if not there where?
- 23:07Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 23:09Speaker 3: Hey, we have two fun questions to wrap up. Wow,
- 23:12Speaker 3: dear Vonya today, that's next.
- 23:35Speaker 2: All right, we are back with some ending questions.
- 23:39Speaker 3: Stephanie Hi beca Eastern Marcantania alphabetical order. You're a podcast,
- 23:44Speaker 3: especially in the episodes with the four of you, brings
- 23:46Speaker 3: me so much joy each week. And I only complained
- 23:48Speaker 3: is that I wish they were longer a fun game.
- 23:50Speaker 3: My family, friends and I like to play a desert
- 23:51Speaker 3: island movies. These are the top three movies you would
- 23:54Speaker 3: bring to a desert island. By the way, it is
- 23:56Speaker 3: desert island. I always feel like that's a misnomer. They
- 23:58Speaker 3: can't have a desert island. An island is surrounded by water,
- 24:01Speaker 3: Isn't it island?
- 24:02Speaker 2: Deserted deserted island?
- 24:06Speaker 8: Yet I'm staying with desert. Okay, it can be arid
- 24:08Speaker 8: and dry.
- 24:09Speaker 4: Uh.
- 24:10Speaker 3: These are not necessarily the best movies you've ever seen,
- 24:12Speaker 3: but the movies you can watch over and over again.
- 24:14Speaker 3: What would yours be?
- 24:15Speaker 8: I've got mine ready, so go ahead.
- 24:20Speaker 1: It's how many three?
- 24:21Speaker 3: Three?
- 24:23Speaker 9: I always have a hard time remind you remembering what
- 24:25Speaker 9: insurance I have. But this thing I've got ready to go? Baby,
- 24:29Speaker 9: it would be Uh, it would be the first Transformers movie.
- 24:33Speaker 9: It would be Captain America The Winter Soldier Wow.
- 24:36Speaker 8: And it would be Back to the Future Wow. I
- 24:38Speaker 8: watched those at least like once a month.
- 24:40Speaker 2: Wait was Captain America the sequel?
- 24:43Speaker 8: That's right, and you liked it better.
- 24:44Speaker 2: Than the first?
- 24:45Speaker 1: Okay, it's rare. I have mine, my gosh. Well, Okay,
- 24:48Speaker 1: he's just not that into you.
- 24:49Speaker 4: Wow, home alone too, because I need something. I would
- 24:54Speaker 4: need something for the holidays time. And my third one
- 25:01Speaker 4: would be I'll just guy in ten days.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Oh that's I'm going. Do you have yours?
- 25:07Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 25:07Speaker 2: Okay, please.
- 25:08Speaker 3: I don't watch a lot of movies over and over again,
- 25:09Speaker 3: but these are the ones I've gotten the most joy
- 25:11Speaker 3: out of watching over and over again. La La Land,
- 25:13Speaker 3: I love La La Land, and I could watch it
- 25:16Speaker 3: again and again and again. I am so mesmerized by
- 25:20Speaker 3: Emma Stone in that movie. She's brilliant in it. Eternal
- 25:24Speaker 3: Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I have been wanting to rewatch that lately.
- 25:28Speaker 1: So I've never even heard.
- 25:29Speaker 3: Of this Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, and it's just glorious.
- 25:33Speaker 2: I think I would have a deeper response because I'm
- 25:36Speaker 2: in a relationship now because I watched it long time ago,
- 25:40Speaker 2: so I think I would have a different reaction to it.
- 25:42Speaker 3: And there's so much to it. There's so many little
- 25:44Speaker 3: things that you miss unless you watch it again and
- 25:46Speaker 3: again and again. Okay, and now need a comedy and
- 25:48Speaker 3: I'm torn on that. I've always said my favorite movie
- 25:50Speaker 3: of all time is Airplane, the original Airplane movie from
- 25:52Speaker 3: nineteen eighty. You know it's the first parody movie.
- 25:55Speaker 1: You know what about planes, trains and automobile.
- 25:57Speaker 3: Oh, that's a pretty good one. That might be better. That's
- 25:59Speaker 3: probably the good voice I'll do.
- 26:00Speaker 1: That's a little holiday.
- 26:01Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right. It is idea.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You're gonna want something during the holidays.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Airplane is not age that well, is what I have found.
- 26:09Speaker 2: I don't know about that one. I have never seen it.
- 26:11Speaker 2: It's funny, but I was gonna do huddle those today's.
- 26:14Speaker 2: But I'm gonna let that be yours, because you have
- 26:16Speaker 2: the rental from the Desert the Island Blockbuster. I'm gonna
- 26:21Speaker 2: do Malana. Wow, I love Malanna, my sick comfort man.
- 26:26Speaker 3: The line where the sky makes.
- 26:29Speaker 2: Okay, I would feel inspired to leave the island. I'm
- 26:34Speaker 2: gonna say the holiday for my holidays.
- 26:37Speaker 1: You need one. You're gonna need one around November December
- 26:40Speaker 1: t Yeah, and.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Then I'm gonna go. I'm gonna go. Bride's aids so funny.
- 26:46Speaker 2: It makes me laugh, even when my real preference would
- 26:49Speaker 2: be to get to pick three seasons of friends.
- 26:52Speaker 4: But I don't know when I was gonna say in
- 26:54Speaker 4: the City movie because I like, I feel like I
- 26:56Speaker 4: would like to dabble with my gals, But I didn't
- 26:58Speaker 4: love the movie as much as was controversial.
- 27:01Speaker 3: Yeah all right, Riley asks I Beka, Tanya Mark and
- 27:04Speaker 3: Eastern Day eighteen scrubber but one true life? Wow, I too,
- 27:09Speaker 3: like the light had a fun question at the end
- 27:10Speaker 3: of your Bonnie, So here's one. Haley Kyoko, the director
- 27:14Speaker 3: is now casting for the Scrubbing and Uncut movie. Who
- 27:18Speaker 3: would you each cast for yourself and the three others
- 27:20Speaker 3: could be actor, actor, singer, influencer, whoever you want. But
- 27:23Speaker 3: let's be fun and creative so that this movie wins
- 27:25Speaker 3: a golden globe. Look forward every podcast. Love you guys.
- 27:31Speaker 3: I want Jason Bateman to play me.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Good one, Thank you Solid. Netflix might pick it up
- 27:36Speaker 1: with oh.
- 27:38Speaker 6: Do you know?
- 27:38Speaker 2: Also there is a guy the lead in Conclave. His
- 27:43Speaker 2: voice reminded me of you, Anthony.
- 27:47Speaker 3: Ray Fine? Right? Is Ray Fine? Is he the lead?
- 27:49Speaker 8: And he's in Conclave? He is the lead?
- 27:52Speaker 3: I love?
- 27:53Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 27:53Speaker 4: Yeah, I have an idea for Becca Madeline Kleinting.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I'm honored. I think she's beautiful but random?
- 28:03Speaker 1: Oh really?
- 28:04Speaker 3: Also, twenty seven are we care about maybe it's like
- 28:06Speaker 3: the Origin because I cast somebody.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Mark, so.
- 28:11Speaker 1: I already have mine to who you have a guess?
- 28:18Speaker 3: I do.
- 28:18Speaker 1: I've always wanted her to.
- 28:19Speaker 3: Play me, Jennifer Goodwin.
- 28:21Speaker 1: No, what do you mean?
- 28:22Speaker 3: No, didn't she didn't somebody compare you to her?
- 28:26Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:26Speaker 1: Oh but no, that's not the correct answer.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Okay, wait is she in our age range?
- 28:31Speaker 4: No?
- 28:31Speaker 2: Oh, younger, yes, younger yes, Florence.
- 28:35Speaker 4: No, but I wouldn't be a post Yeah, that would
- 28:37Speaker 4: work any other guesses, guys, it's like so easy. She's
- 28:43Speaker 4: been on the podcast many times. Very memorable guest.
- 28:47Speaker 3: If you will, Letington just a capsule, Sabrina Carpenter.
- 28:53Speaker 8: Yeah, yes, I was just gonna say that, Yes, yeah, yeah.
- 29:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm looking at actress.
- 29:08Speaker 1: She's an actress, Megan Trainer. She can do whatever she wants.
- 29:12Speaker 1: She's a chameleon.
- 29:13Speaker 3: But Easton, we haven't gotten to Easton.
- 29:15Speaker 8: I'm saying Adam Brody, he's pretty good.
- 29:18Speaker 9: She's older than me, significantly older than me, so much
- 29:21Speaker 9: older than Fred Savage.
- 29:24Speaker 8: Fred Savage like Adam Brody.
- 29:26Speaker 2: And I was thinking for you, Lady Hudson, a little
- 29:31Speaker 2: older than you, but fine, love, I.
- 29:34Speaker 3: Was thinking Tom Everett Scott for Easton, Tom from that
- 29:37Speaker 3: thing you do?
- 29:38Speaker 8: Oh yes, uh you also just like decades older than me.
- 29:45Speaker 1: I'm going to do Freddy Prince Junior for Easton.
- 29:47Speaker 2: Wow, that's crazy, that's literally insane.
- 29:54Speaker 8: I'll take it.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I like Adam Brody the bust.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Adam Brodie is pretty strong.
- 29:59Speaker 8: How about Tom Hanks, Tomminks now for me?
- 30:02Speaker 3: That would win a Golden Globe?
- 30:03Speaker 8: Yeah, yes it would.
- 30:08Speaker 2: I don't know. I'm not seeing anyone that I resonate with.
- 30:11Speaker 2: I mean, like I they're all beautiful, but I don't.
- 30:14Speaker 8: See I was thinking Addison Ray for you me.
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yes, well, she's like twenty two, thanks you soon, She's.
- 30:21Speaker 8: Been in a movie. She knows what she's doing.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, we went to she went to the high
- 30:26Speaker 2: school I graduated, brom.
- 30:27Speaker 8: So really, wow, do they have a statue there of you?
- 30:30Speaker 2: So do you like thought of me?
- 30:31Speaker 4: Maybe of her like Addison Ray or Madeline Klein? Better
- 30:37Speaker 4: you have the ultimate say because it's your depiction.
- 30:40Speaker 2: You know who I'd like. That's just like is like
- 30:45Speaker 2: Olivia Wilde.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Oh oh nice.
- 30:51Speaker 2: More of my age range. They're both like low twenties
- 30:54Speaker 2: that people all gave me, which I really appreciate.
- 30:56Speaker 3: Actually Green is a suggestion from Google.
- 30:58Speaker 1: Ai Rebecca, Yeah, yeah, okay, what do they said for me?
- 31:06Speaker 3: Well, let's ask it, scared, I don't even know, but
- 31:08Speaker 3: I don't know if chat epet knows you. Okay, here,
- 31:11Speaker 3: I'll just hear it. We'll do this. This will be
- 31:13Speaker 3: easier and faster with the type someone did did you
- 31:16Speaker 3: put a photo and said, I said, Beca Tilly? What
