- 0:05Welcome to The Hypnotist, the show that gives you inside
- 0:09access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing
- 0:12genuine. Issues.
- 0:13Brought to you by The Hypnotherapist, demanded by
- 0:16celebrities CE OS and even royalty Adam Cox, these
- 0:21recordings took place live from Evans Clinic in London's world
- 0:24famous Harley Street. So get yourself comfortable and
- 0:31enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:39Do you ever find yourself stuck in a particular state?
- 0:43Maybe you've been working hard and you just can't get yourself
- 0:47out of that work mentality, even when you're back home after
- 0:51work's finished? Well, I've just worked with a
- 0:54client that wanted to solve this problem and have more of a James
- 0:59Bond mindset. And if you think of the
- 1:02character James Bond, he's able to go from this kind of chasing
- 1:07spies and kind of running away from danger to then relaxing in
- 1:11a casino or lying on a beach. And it seems effortless.
- 1:15And the client that I was working with had James Bond as a
- 1:18kind of a fictional role model that they wanted to emulate,
- 1:22that ability to switch states rapidly, to go from focus to
- 1:27joy, from intensity to an ease and carefree nature.
- 1:32And that's what this session is all about.
- 1:34So if you like the idea of activating a James Bond mindset
- 1:38or you want to be able to change your moods and your states
- 1:41quickly, I think you'll benefit from this.
- 1:44It's got lots of metaphors, it's got lots of suggestions.
- 1:47It's got NLP anchoring in there, and also certain other things
- 1:51like how music and fragrances and even the clothing that you
- 1:55wear can actually give clues to your unconscious as to what kind
- 1:58of state you want to be in. All of which is quite useful if
- 2:04you want that adaptability. If you like what I do, have a
- 2:07look in the description. You're going to find lots of
- 2:09free stuff there, free downloads, free courses, or you
- 2:12can even have a free consultation call to explore
- 2:15working with me. But for now, you might actually
- 2:17get some value from this particular session O find a
- 2:20quiet, comfortable place where you're not going to be
- 2:22disturbed. Relax and enjoy the session.
- 2:56Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in that
- 3:05resourceful feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 3:10And as you exhale, just feel a wonderful sense of release, as
- 3:18if any tension worries is starting to leave your body in
- 3:25your outward breath. And as you breathe in, breathe
- 3:31in deeper than you normally would.
- 3:35And as you exhale, feel a heaviness on your eyelids
- 3:42combined with pure relaxation. And with your eyes closed,
- 3:50notice how much easier it becomes to focus on the sound of
- 3:57my voice. Breathing in that relaxation and
- 4:06continuing to exhale tension. Each breath takes you deeper and
- 4:21deeper. Relaxed.
- 4:28And as you continue to breathe in and out, you may already
- 4:34notice just how easy it is to let go, to release the tension
- 4:42of the day, and to allow your unconscious mind to do the work
- 4:49for you. And I want you to evaluate what
- 4:56you've done so far in your life. The business you run and the
- 5:04problems you've solved, the goals you've achieved, is
- 5:10irrefutable evidence that you can handle intensity, pressure
- 5:23and constant surprises. And yet the very same mind that
- 5:32rises to those challenges can also relax, recharge and enjoy
- 5:43the freedom that you are building and allow that freedom
- 5:49to feel like it contains more fun, more connection, and more
- 5:56joy. As you breathe in and breathe
- 6:01out, I want you to imagine your own private cinema and just
- 6:11imagine walking into that room and seeing on the movie screen
- 6:19perhaps your favorite James Bond film.
- 6:27See the actor playing him and maybe see a particular moment
- 6:35that makes you feel. This is a person that can be
- 6:42resourceful, calm under pressure, hyper focus when it
- 6:50matters most and yet within seconds it can be at ease,
- 6:59social, playful, charismatic, totally relaxed in any
- 7:05environment. Just be the observer, life in
- 7:14danger in one moment, smiling and making a joke the next,
- 7:22doing what needs to be done in one moment and casually flirting
- 7:28in the next. And I want you to observe that
- 7:35ability to switch states quickly, effortlessly, and to
- 7:44acknowledge that that ability exists in you too.
- 7:55And I'd like you to imagine what it would feel like to move from
- 8:00the cinema into the screen, to step into that character in that
- 8:09scene or that moment, and to feel how effortlessly you can
- 8:16switch from hyper focus to playful joy.
- 8:23And I want you to search inside your body for where it feels
- 8:32like this feeling exists, that ability to instantly adapt.
- 8:45And I want you to imagine, wherever that feeling is, that
- 8:51it turns into a shape and then a color, and that it moves.
- 8:59And I want you to imagine what shape that effortless
- 9:05adaptability would be. Imagine a three-dimensional
- 9:11shape. Because when it's 3 dimensional,
- 9:17you get to notice 3 dimensional movements.
- 9:22Some people will feel courage in their heart or anxiety in their
- 9:28gut. But I want you to scan your body
- 9:31for where it feels like this effortless adaptability exists.
- 9:41And then imagine if it has a colour, what colour it is, and
- 9:45make that colour brighter. And if it moves like a rotation
- 9:51or pulsation, how it moves and make it move faster to amplify
- 9:59this ability to switch between states.
- 10:07And then I want you to imagine holding on to that feeling of
- 10:14switching and climbing into an Aston Martin, the latest model.
- 10:27And I want you to imagine that this car starts as a manual
- 10:33stick shift. It's powerful, you can hear the
- 10:39engine roaring, but it requires intention every time you change
- 10:48gear. And I want you to imagine that
- 10:53changing emotional states becomes more cumbersome if you
- 10:59have to consciously decide every time you change that gear, every
- 11:06time you change that state. But then I want you to see a
- 11:12control panel there inside the car, and it dawns on you.
- 11:20This car gives you the option to switch from manual to automatic.
- 11:29And as you switch the car from manual to automatic, I want you
- 11:35to accept the suggestion that this is also taking place with
- 11:40your ability to effortlessly adapt and change your emotional
- 11:46state that you don't have to intend.
- 11:53Your brain is a supercomputer and it will allow you to change
- 12:00your emotional state intuitively, automatically,
- 12:07depending on what state you need most.
- 12:14And inside that car, I want you to see other switches.
- 12:19One for focus and determination, one for calm and relaxation, one
- 12:27for joy and excitement, and another for love and connection.
- 12:38And let's just consider this a thought experiment.
- 12:43I want you to imagine clicking hyper focus, determined and
- 12:48obsessed in the best possible way.
- 12:53As you now imagine the car is parked, but there is a screen
- 12:57inside the car that shows you exactly the best environments
- 13:05for you to be that hyper focused, determined and obsessed
- 13:11version of you. And maybe it's dealing with a
- 13:14crisis, an emergency, or this 4 dimensional chess where you have
- 13:21to think 10 moves ahead. But then notice that when you
- 13:27click relaxed, at ease, smiling and social, how quickly the
- 13:35screen can show you even seconds later.
- 13:40Smiling and carefree, oozing joy and social confidence.
- 13:49And then click fun loving and carefree and now see you in a
- 13:58different environment, perhaps still social but not necessarily
- 14:04so. But you can tell from your
- 14:08facial expression, your body language that there is a
- 14:13carefree energy to you. That you can go from hyper
- 14:19focused and determined to smiling, to carefree and fun
- 14:26loving and then click another switch and go to loving,
- 14:34peaceful or connected and maybe see yourself with someone you
- 14:40love and see that pure connection between you and them.
- 14:46And I want you to imagine you can do this through intention,
- 14:57or you can do it intuitively. And intuitively means there's
- 15:04nothing you need to do, as your body will respond for you at any
- 15:14point. You can switch from manual to
- 15:17automatic, intentional to intuitive.
- 15:24I want you to imagine that there are ways that you can give clues
- 15:30to your mind, that supercomputer as to what emotional states you
- 15:38would like it to visit. Depending on the situation or
- 15:42circumstances that you're in, I want you to imagine playing
- 15:50certain music. It might be music that you play
- 15:56that makes you feel focused and obsessed, and other music that
- 16:02makes you feel carefree and lighthearted, and others that
- 16:08make you feel energized, ready for a great workout, or another
- 16:15playlist that makes you feel romantic or with a desire to
- 16:23connect at that emotional level. And sometimes it's music, but
- 16:32sometimes it might be smells, fragrances.
- 16:38And not just the kind of fragrances you spray on your
- 16:40skin. It could be the fragrance of
- 16:46certain foods. It could be the fragrance
- 16:53someone else wears. It might be the fragrance that
- 16:57exists in different environments.
- 17:02A farm will have a different smell than an office, which has
- 17:06a different smell to the home. And I want you to feel that your
- 17:11unconscious is learning, connecting, joining the dots.
- 17:17So certain sounds, certain smells activate intuitively the
- 17:24emotional state most useful or beneficial to you because your
- 17:32unconscious mind knows that each state or a combination of states
- 17:39is always available to you and switching is effortless.
- 17:49And I want you to feel that you are unleashing your own inner
- 17:55James Bond, where you can go from feeling that action
- 18:04orientation to complete peace and relaxation, from intensity
- 18:12to playfulness, from high stakes to high enjoyment.
- 18:23I want you to get a sense that smells, music, but sometimes
- 18:28even accessories like a watch, a bracelet, a hat.
- 18:37Those things can also activate certain states that when you put
- 18:43it on or feel it on your skin, it becomes the signal to your
- 18:48unconscious mind. Now it's time to switch and your
- 18:57unconscious mind is learning this ability now quickly,
- 19:03effortlessly, naturally. And I wonder if you could also
- 19:12notice that James Bond belief system that life is short and if
- 19:22you work hard, then play hard. And that doesn't have to be hard
- 19:29physical work. It can be intellectual work.
- 19:35The idea that the more effort, focus and intensity you apply to
- 19:41your business, the greater your desire and motivation becomes
- 19:49for all things that give you joy.
- 19:54Family exercise, social situations, or perhaps just a
- 20:02powerful connection as you acknowledge that work fuels
- 20:10play, but also. Play recharges the batteries
- 20:16required to work even harder and in doing so you have this
- 20:24wonderful flywheel where both give your life balance energy
- 20:31and vitality. 1 feeds off the other, which then feeds the
- 20:36other. And from this point on, every
- 20:45time, consciously or unconsciously, you sense the
- 20:49need to change from intensity to ease, from focus to fun, from
- 20:59work to play. You will remember this power
- 21:04within you as you imagine that switch on that Aston Martin.
- 21:12You can do it consciously and deliberately, or switch to
- 21:17automatic and it becomes intuitive and effortless.
- 21:25And the absence of you doing it intentionally means the default
- 21:30is that it is always automatic. I want you to imagine leaving
- 21:39that car, jumping back in reverse through the screen,
- 21:43finding yourself in that cinema as the James Bond movie turns
- 21:49now into your life in the future, in the near future.
- 21:59You to see yourself perhaps in a period that you can consider a
- 22:05boot camp, a training ground for your emotions, training at
- 22:11altitude. And I want you to see yourself
- 22:17going from intensity to that ease of life.
- 22:26See yourself going from laser focused when the pressure is on
- 22:32and then almost instantly see yourself relaxed, smiling,
- 22:40carefree with loved ones. See yourself determined and
- 22:47powerful in your business and then joyful, fun loving and
- 22:54peaceful in your personal life. Because you are both, and you
- 23:02can become whichever version of you is needed in that moment.
- 23:10Consider yourself a renaissance man capable of many things.
- 23:16You can be the confident entrepreneur, the relaxed fun
- 23:22loving soul, the loving partner, and then the joyful friend.
- 23:32It's all you and you can switch easily.
- 23:38And when you can see that future version of you with that
- 23:42effortless adaptability, with that James Bond like ability to
- 23:52go from work to play, let me know by nodding your head.
- 24:03And then just get a sense that it's time to leave this cinema.
- 24:11But that shape, that colour, that resourceful feeling of
- 24:16being able to switch is still there in that location within
- 24:20you. So as you leave the cinema, feel
- 24:25yourself floating all the way back to where you are right now.
- 24:31Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your
- 24:36nose. Just wiggle your fingers, wiggle
- 24:39your toes, connect and calibrate into the here and the now as I
- 24:46now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 24:50Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert 7-8.
- 24:57Open your eyes, open your eyes, 910.
- 25:00Wide awake, wide awake, wide awake.
