- 0:00SPEAKER_03: Hey, welcome to Trap Souls Podcast.
- 0:02SPEAKER_03: I'm here with King Sisters Paranormal.
- 0:05SPEAKER_03: Yes, King Sisters, but there's a brother sitting in the middle.
- 0:09SPEAKER_03: So I'm the first academy when I saw their pictures, but it is what it is.
- 0:15SPEAKER_03: So how did King Sisters come about?
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: I've had experiences when I was younger.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Lene actually had a chance to go with another group.
- 0:24SPEAKER_00: And then she came to me and said, Hey, we should go to Velisca.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: And I was like, Okay.
- 0:30SPEAKER_00: And then he went with us because he was like, I'll be your cameraman.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: That's your husband.
- 0:35SPEAKER_00: That's my husband.
- 0:38SPEAKER_00: I'll be the cameraman and the skeptic.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: Well, so we went to Velisca and it was a very profound experience.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: And uh then we decided we wanted to do this more often.
- 0:46SPEAKER_00: So we're like, let's just do it, you know.
- 0:51SPEAKER_02: They were both big fans of uh the shows as well.
- 0:54SPEAKER_02: So that's that's kind of how they got into being interested into it.
- 1:00SPEAKER_03: Yeah, definitely.
- 1:01SPEAKER_03: So you two are sisters, yes.
- 1:03SPEAKER_03: Okay, that's very sister.
- 1:05SPEAKER_03: Um and you were just kind of married into the sister, like not sister, but it sounds weird.
- 1:10SPEAKER_03: I was curious, you were married into the group.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: I mean it's it's we're not that close.
- 1:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we're not that close.
- 1:19SPEAKER_03: No, sorry, that came out totally wrong.
- 1:21SPEAKER_03: I told you I work night shift, so everyone's here.
- 1:24SPEAKER_03: No.
- 1:25SPEAKER_03: So cameraman, skeptic.
- 1:28SPEAKER_03: Still a skeptic?
- 1:30SPEAKER_02: No, it it took one uh investigation, our initial investigation as a team, and I was no longer a skeptic.
- 1:37SPEAKER_02: We went to the uh the Moore home in Velisca, Iowa, and uh that was all it took.
- 1:42SPEAKER_02: It really was.
- 1:43SPEAKER_02: Uh it was very like she said, it was very profound.
- 1:46SPEAKER_02: Uh we um we all felt the same, I think the same things that hey, this is really real.
- 1:54SPEAKER_02: Um, and it took going to a place like that, a very significant haunted location in this area.
- 2:00SPEAKER_02: We're lucky we're only four and a half, maybe hours from Valliska, Iowa, and that's all it took.
- 2:06SPEAKER_02: It really was.
- 2:06SPEAKER_00: He's still skeptical.
- 2:07SPEAKER_00: He's just not gonna be able to do that.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Well, you'd have to be skeptical.
- 2:09SPEAKER_02: We're all skeptical, right?
- 2:11SPEAKER_02: Um, but I'm no longer a skeptic, I guess.
- 2:14SPEAKER_02: Let's let's put it that way.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: He doesn't laugh at me when I talk about stuff anymore.
- 2:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, okay.
- 2:19SPEAKER_03: No, I mean, yeah, I mean, you have to be a little bit of a skeptic if you're a parent.
- 2:23SPEAKER_03: Yeah, perform the job.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 2:24SPEAKER_03: Yeah, absolutely.
- 2:25SPEAKER_03: And if you're not, we just call you Zach Baggins.
- 2:28SPEAKER_03: But that's what we do.
- 2:28SPEAKER_05: Yes.
- 2:30SPEAKER_02: That would be then there's a demon around every corner.
- 2:34SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: Probably not a demon.
- 2:38SPEAKER_03: It's not a demon.
- 2:41SPEAKER_03: So Minnesota.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: I mean, sorry, everybody there from Rochester, Minnesota.
- 2:45SPEAKER_03: Um, Southeast Minnesota.
- 2:48SPEAKER_03: It looks like the toe of Minnesota, that's where they're at.
- 2:51SPEAKER_02: Southeastern toe, yes.
- 2:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so it looks like a pretty cool spot.
- 2:57SPEAKER_03: Um, what's the closest known place to you besides Velisco?
- 3:01SPEAKER_03: Is there something else out there?
- 3:02SPEAKER_00: I think we're about halfway between Suites and Anderson House.
- 3:06SPEAKER_02: Yeah, there's uh there's a place in a little town called Leroy, uh, a pretty cool haunted hotel there, uh down by the Iowa border.
- 3:13SPEAKER_02: Um but we're well to the Midwest, I don't think it gets enough credit for as many haunted locations as there are.
- 3:20unknown: Right.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: Anderson Houses in Walbusha, which is another hour away.
- 3:24SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 3:24SPEAKER_00: And that one, that was on the Minnesota River.
- 3:26SPEAKER_00: That's that was I'm sorry.
- 3:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you're right.
- 3:29SPEAKER_00: Minnesota's been a long day.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Um, and we've had a lot of that.
- 3:35SPEAKER_00: That's that's a really cool old haunted hotel, too.
- 3:38SPEAKER_00: I I highly recommend visiting there if you have a chance.
- 3:40SPEAKER_02: Even Rochester itself has uh some haunted locations, the Kaler Hotel.
- 3:44SPEAKER_02: Yeah, so there's uh there's a lot of stuff around here, actually.
- 3:47SPEAKER_03: I mean, yeah, I think like you guys are like Midwest, I'm gonna assume they call Ohio Midwest, which I don't know, but you guys are more yeah, I'm skeptical about that.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 3:58SPEAKER_03: Um but you guys are more Midwest in the history, just all the travelers going west.
- 4:04SPEAKER_03: There was so much I don't want to say like bad stuff, but you know, those towns that popped up, the booming towns, and people, yeah, right on the Mississippi.
- 4:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're we're 45 minutes away from the Mississippi River, and a lot of those river towns has a lot of history behind it, a lot of it again.
- 4:22SPEAKER_03: Like we talked on some other shows that it's not great history because of what happened there, right?
- 4:29SPEAKER_03: But but it's still history, and now we're starting to talk about a little more, I believe.
- 4:34SPEAKER_03: So these places pop up a little more here and there.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we're coming to terms with the history, is what we're doing.
- 4:41SPEAKER_03: Yeah, everybody knows I'm a big believer in history, it repeats itself, and if you don't know the history, it's gonna repeat itself, and we don't want anymore.
- 4:49SPEAKER_03: I think the last few owners that I had on were all Iowa, Kansas, trying to think of where Nebraska.
- 4:56SPEAKER_03: A lot of cool places out there again, spread out though.
- 4:59SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's real spread out, so's Ohio.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: Like we have a lot of paranormal places, they're popping up everywhere, right?
- 5:10SPEAKER_03: And still it's two to five hours to get to.
- 5:13SPEAKER_02: Right.
- 5:15SPEAKER_02: That's pretty much where we're at, is we're we're kind of in that four to five hour range from all of this fantastic paranormal locations.
- 5:25SPEAKER_02: Um, in and we we spend a lot of time in Iowa, honestly.
- 5:29SPEAKER_02: A lot of time in Iowa.
- 5:30SPEAKER_02: Yeah, a lot of people don't understand how exhausting an investigation can be.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: I mean, it is it's not just uh it's emotionally exhausting, it's physically exhausting, it's a lot to it.
- 5:43SPEAKER_02: There just is.
- 5:44SPEAKER_03: So let's talk about that.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: That's been a big topic on some paranormal hangovers.
- 5:49SPEAKER_03: Is that such a thing?
- 5:51SPEAKER_03: I I would say yes.
- 5:54SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 5:54SPEAKER_00: Not only the not only the physical mental exhaustion of of just staying up all night.
- 5:59SPEAKER_00: And I mean, I don't know about anybody else, but I'm getting old.
- 6:03SPEAKER_00: It's harder to do that than you know.
- 6:05SPEAKER_00: So um, but also the energies now, making sure you're you're not bringing those energies home as well, because you you you that could that can just drain you anyway, doesn't matter how much sleep you get.
- 6:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, I've never I don't believe in a paranormal hangover because I don't experience it, but I do rotate every two weeks from night shift to day shift.
- 6:26SPEAKER_03: Oh, that's horrible.
- 6:27SPEAKER_04: I'm sorry.
- 6:27SPEAKER_03: I might I might just be in a paranormal hangover for the last 19 years, I don't know.
- 6:32SPEAKER_00: So nothing's all recognized it because it's the same thing.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: So it's the same thing.
- 6:36SPEAKER_00: I'm always tired.
- 6:39SPEAKER_03: Always tired.
- 6:40SPEAKER_03: So when you guys go to a place, do you guys usually sleep there or just go investigate?
- 6:46SPEAKER_01: Depends on the place.
- 6:47SPEAKER_01: It does.
- 6:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, if it's a hotel and it's an operating hotel, yeah, we're gonna sleep there.
- 6:53SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 6:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but there are some places that are dark and they don't have good energy, and we just would rather not be vulnerable.
- 7:01SPEAKER_02: Yeah, yeah, we've we've hauled uh you know a travel trailer, or we'll stay in a local hotel if possible, just so there is that disconnection from where we were just at, that disconnection from that energy just to get away and um reset reset.
- 7:17SPEAKER_02: That's a good yeah, that's a good term for it.
- 7:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 7:20SPEAKER_03: Um, do you guys do anything after investigation?
- 7:22SPEAKER_03: Kind of like protect ourselves.
- 7:25SPEAKER_00: Yes, we always make sure we stage, make sure all the energies are washed away.
- 7:31SPEAKER_00: Um, we do a lot of protection before and after.
- 7:34SPEAKER_00: Um, people always talk about the protection after the investigation to make sure nothing follows you home, but you really should go in there protecting yourself as well, making sure nothing's you can be protected and still be open to communicate, and that way it's isn't quite so invasive sometimes in some of the locations because sometimes they get aggressive, you know.
- 7:54SPEAKER_03: Maybe yeah, they do.
- 7:55SPEAKER_03: So a lot of people think like if you protect yourself too much before you go into investigation, then you're unblocking anything.
- 8:01SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 8:02SPEAKER_00: Well, and that's why anytime we do our protect, I mean, I'm really big on the protection part of it, and I I always make sure that you know we want to be open enough to communicate, but not so open that we put ourselves in a vulnerable place.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just because I don't I don't want anybody jumping me personally, nobody's taking me over.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: I just and she's been touched and poked like a lot.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: There was one time I felt like somebody else was in my body, and that was enough for me.
- 8:30SPEAKER_00: There's like nope, nope, I'm not I'm gonna protect myself to the point where I I want to communicate, but I don't I don't want anything more than that.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: If you touch me and poke me, that's bad enough.
- 8:40SPEAKER_00: That's that's enough, at least some sort of interaction, which I do appreciate, but it also gets creepy sometimes, you know.
- 8:47SPEAKER_01: So I'm gonna have to setting intentions too before we go in.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: Yes, yeah, grounding and setting intentions, and yeah, you know, yeah, let me know why we're there and right.
- 8:58SPEAKER_03: So, why are you there?
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: Communicate, get their stories.
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Good question, yeah.
- 9:03SPEAKER_00: You know, and if we I mean, obviously the places you go, they don't want you passing anybody over, but especially if we're doing like residential places and stuff like that, if we can help them, I want to be able to be open enough to help them.
- 9:15SPEAKER_00: Um, and if it's just helping the the residents understand what's happening, sometimes it's just not as scary if they know what's going on, you know, if they know it's grandma Joel, Grandma Jean instead of you know, the the demon that they were told it was, you know.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: So it just otherwise it's just to communicate and get their stories.
- 9:33SPEAKER_00: I just enjoy hearing hearing the stories from the other side.
- 9:37SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 9:38SPEAKER_03: We'll just go down the line here.
- 9:39SPEAKER_03: I mean, why do you do investigations?
- 9:42SPEAKER_02: Uh curiosity.
- 9:44SPEAKER_02: I think we all have that basic core curiosity of is there something after this?
- 9:52SPEAKER_02: You know, is there so I'm gonna say life after death?
- 9:56SPEAKER_02: Is there another realm of existence?
- 9:58SPEAKER_02: And I I was talking about this today.
- 10:00SPEAKER_02: I I made a post today on our Facebook page about why why do you do this?
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: It's not like you always get that same old tired question as hey, why are you a paranormal investigator?
- 10:09SPEAKER_02: I was kind of more interested in the meat and potatoes of it is hey, why do you really do this?
- 10:14SPEAKER_02: And it comes down to I think we're all curious about the afterlife if there if the afterlife exists, and we're also kind of we all wonder uh well, it's the fear of dying and the um hope that there is something after this.
- 10:31SPEAKER_02: And God, that's really cool to just kind of delve into that, you know?
- 10:36SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: I think it's I think I'm pretty much the same thing is we wanna I just want to know.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: I want to know what's after this life.
- 10:45SPEAKER_01: I and I've I feel like I've I have learned a lot since we started doing this, and I'm pretty comfortable now with my mortality.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:53SPEAKER_01: And if doing this can also help um uh people who are afraid in their homes, or if there are spirits that need help just being heard, then I want to help.
- 11:06SPEAKER_03: It makes sense.
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: And you hit one word that really hit me, which was comfortable in your mortality.
- 11:14SPEAKER_03: So since I started doing paranormal investigations, really I guess diving into paranormal investigations, doing the podcast, talking to everybody.
- 11:24SPEAKER_03: It's so many people are scared to die.
- 11:28unknown: Right.
- 11:28SPEAKER_03: You know, I always say Christopher Boggs, the mortician, always it always sticks with me every time he I go back and watch that podcast is you live, you die.
- 11:38SPEAKER_03: Those are the two things guaranteed in life.
- 11:41SPEAKER_03: And if you're just scared to die, you're not living.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 11:46SPEAKER_01: To know that there's something after this, yeah.
- 11:49SPEAKER_03: And so when you get comfortable knowing that that's gonna happen sooner or later, hopefully later.
- 11:56SPEAKER_03: I mean, that's what we hope, right?
- 11:58SPEAKER_03: Then you can live.
- 11:59SPEAKER_03: Then you can live.
- 12:01SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 12:03SPEAKER_03: And that's why we're here to live.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: That's why we're on this earth.
- 12:06SPEAKER_03: Live to our fullest potential, whatever that is, who knows?
- 12:09SPEAKER_03: Could be paranormal investigating, helping people.
- 12:12SPEAKER_03: But yeah, being comfortable knowing that, hey, I quote, there's life after life.
- 12:19SPEAKER_05: Right.
- 12:21SPEAKER_03: Let's go live it.
- 12:22SPEAKER_03: Let's go have fun.
- 12:24SPEAKER_03: And you know, it's the whole paranormal stuff has opened my eyes so much and just like, let's just go live life, man.
- 12:30SPEAKER_03: Let's go have fun.
- 12:31SPEAKER_03: Because only like you guys are a family, go make memories, go have fun.
- 12:36SPEAKER_03: Hit it hard, you know, that's what it's all about.
- 12:39SPEAKER_00: And that's a big part of it, too.
- 12:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's the human experience.
- 12:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it is, and we do get along very well.
- 12:45SPEAKER_00: Uh, me and my sister didn't really interact a lot in our younger adulthoods.
- 12:50SPEAKER_00: So when we did start hanging out and realized that we had all this stuff in common, and it was it was a really good bonding experience, and we realized that we're really good friends too.
- 13:00SPEAKER_00: You know, it helps that he's pretty funny.
- 13:02SPEAKER_00: We keep him around.
- 13:06SPEAKER_00: I mean, I hold the camera.
- 13:09SPEAKER_00: I have my use, he's earned that tennis album.
- 13:13SPEAKER_03: What do you think about it's weird?
- 13:14SPEAKER_03: The dead bird you guys brought you guys closer in the logo.
- 13:18SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it absolutely did.
- 13:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, all three of us.
- 13:20SPEAKER_02: Yes, we're all we're all we're we're family members, but we're also really good friends, and that's what's really cool about this.
- 13:27SPEAKER_02: And it's just three of us.
- 13:29SPEAKER_02: There's a lot of teams out there that have 20 members and all that, but this is it, just kind of we like this kind of interaction between the three of us, it just works for some reason.
- 13:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you can tell.
- 13:41SPEAKER_03: I mean, just from talking to you for the last 16 minutes, you can tell that you guys mash good and have a good time.
- 13:47SPEAKER_03: That's what it's about.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and yeah, that to us, I don't know, being in dark, scary places is fun to us.
- 13:53SPEAKER_02: I don't know why.
- 13:54SPEAKER_02: Some people like you know, race car driving and roller coaster.
- 13:58SPEAKER_02: This is what we like.
- 13:59unknown: I don't know.
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: It's still adrenaline.
- 14:01SPEAKER_02: I mean it is.
- 14:02SPEAKER_02: I agree with that a hundred percent.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: It is definitely adrenaline.
- 14:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and the fact that we do get along so well, we have fun when we're investigating, we laugh a lot, and I think that I think that helps with the communication as well.
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it makes it hard to go through uh evidence because we're laughing constantly, but whatever.
- 14:20SPEAKER_03: That gets laughed because people always like that's coming off to a lot more, you know, into the light that having a good time creates more communication.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's that positive energy that gets thrown out there, and it does they want to interact with it.
- 14:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 14:40SPEAKER_03: Uh you talked a little bit about residential, helping people residentials, and you know, everybody knows I don't do history before I go into a pay-to-play place because I don't want to be influenced.
- 14:52SPEAKER_03: But residentials are different.
- 14:53SPEAKER_03: You kind of have to know what you're walking into, what the owner is looking for.
- 14:58SPEAKER_03: A lot of people that aren't into the paranormal are scared of the unknown.
- 15:03SPEAKER_03: You know, they hear a bump in the night, they hear something walking, they freak out.
- 15:08SPEAKER_03: And you know, you're there, we're there to look and say, Hey, it's just a kid down the hallway.
- 15:14SPEAKER_03: Like, it's not a big deal.
- 15:17SPEAKER_03: Have you had like, I mean, you guys do residentials.
- 15:20SPEAKER_03: Obviously, I watched looked at your Facebook page.
- 15:23SPEAKER_03: You know, what's one?
- 15:25SPEAKER_03: Obviously, you can't say what place, but what's one instance where someone was freaked out and you guys said, Hey, it's Grandma Joe, you know, don't worry about it.
- 15:34SPEAKER_00: I would say that first one that we did.
- 15:36SPEAKER_03: JC's place.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 15:38SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, we uh they were having some experiences, and like when the mom or the dad would, you know, punish the child, all of a sudden they'd get all this activity and stuff.
- 15:50SPEAKER_00: Um, so they were pretty worried.
- 15:52SPEAKER_00: We actually went through and we had a uh a recorder out in the garage.
- 15:57SPEAKER_00: And anytime we hear anything, we go through all the cameras, see where we're at.
- 16:00SPEAKER_00: We were nowhere near it.
- 16:01SPEAKER_00: And it actually sounds like somebody walks up to that recorder and whispers a name into the recorder.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: When we talked to the the residents, they were it was actually a nickname that his uncle had given him.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: That he gave his uncle.
- 16:17SPEAKER_00: Oh, that he gave his uncle.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:18SPEAKER_00: Um, and his uncle had tried to during life lead him down a path that probably wasn't great.
- 16:26SPEAKER_00: Um, and he was coming back to just say, I'm sorry.
- 16:29SPEAKER_00: Um, and then we also found out that her grandmother was there, and that's why he always there was always activity when the grandchild got uh disciplined because she was like, That's not how I want you to discipline my kid, my grandchild.
- 16:42SPEAKER_00: So that was they think they were much more comfortable after that.
- 16:45SPEAKER_00: They knew what it was.
- 16:46SPEAKER_00: Um, we told them just talk to your uncle, let him know you've forgiven him so he can move on.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: And they didn't really have anything after that, as far as we we told him about the nickname that we had heard, I mean, clear as day on the uh on one of our recorders, and he just broke down because that's yeah, he he knew what was there.
- 17:04SPEAKER_02: Um, and um, I think the maybe the other person in was a was like uh one of their yeah, it was a grandparent, just looking after them and making sure that they were okay, and maybe wasn't all that happy with the way they were displaying their children.
- 17:19SPEAKER_00: I think I think part of it too was the nickname that was in a different language.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 17:22SPEAKER_00: We had no idea.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: We didn't know what it was.
- 17:24SPEAKER_00: We were just like the own we didn't say anything to you.
- 17:27SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we didn't know what it meant, and then he he told us what it was.
- 17:29SPEAKER_02: But yeah, we they just basically found that hey, it's your past um family members just kind of watching over you.
- 17:35SPEAKER_02: That's really all it is.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: So that was that was very rewarding.
- 17:39SPEAKER_02: Yeah, made it made them feel much more comfortable.
- 17:42SPEAKER_02: Uh they didn't want to necessarily get rid of the spirits that may be around around them, they could now more kind of feel comfortable with their presence in their home that they were just their, you know, they're just their family members kind of watching out for they come to an understanding, yeah.
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, exactly.
- 17:58SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I mean that makes has have to make you feel good too.
- 18:02SPEAKER_03: I mean, you don't do it to feel good, yeah.
- 18:04SPEAKER_03: But deep down, you feel good that you're able to help this family do that, and that's the main thing is just helping people understand that everything's not scary, everything's not demonic.
- 18:18SPEAKER_03: Stop watching TV show, stop watching TV show.
- 18:21SPEAKER_04: Stop watching Jack.
- 18:24SPEAKER_03: Stop.
- 18:26SPEAKER_00: Well, and the other thing too is not everything's paranormal, right?
- 18:30SPEAKER_00: Um, we've gone to one house where they were hearing knocking on the walls and all this other stuff, and we spent a little time there just kind of listening.
- 18:36SPEAKER_00: It was very rhythmic.
- 18:37SPEAKER_00: It was very we we kind of figured out there was a pipe back there that was hitting the wall.
- 18:41SPEAKER_00: That was, you know, it was all about a water pipe or a water eater pipe.
- 18:45SPEAKER_00: I don't know if they necessarily like hearing that, but at least it wasn't a ghost.
- 18:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's it's weird that they would rather it was the paranormal.
- 18:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's um but yeah, they have to understand too that just I mean, I understand that you're you're experiencing things that you don't know what is, but it doesn't necessarily mean that's paranormal either.
- 19:04SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: You have to differentiate that first, I think.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: I mean that's the whole being a skeptic thing, too.
- 19:11SPEAKER_00: That's where that comes in, yeah.
- 19:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that's where it has to come in.
- 19:14SPEAKER_03: I mean, especially these old buildings, Pipes Bank, you know, Floors Creek.
- 19:19SPEAKER_03: I mean, you go to Trans Allegheny, Lunatic and Say Asylum.
- 19:22SPEAKER_03: I think the first three fours floors are cement floors.
- 19:27SPEAKER_03: The fourth floor, I could have this mix, it could be the third floor, but is wood.
- 19:32SPEAKER_03: And the history of it was that when they were building the fourth floor, they realized that they couldn't do cement because it was too heavy, so they had to build wood.
- 19:40SPEAKER_03: And what does wood do when it gets old?
- 19:43SPEAKER_03: Gets moisture at the opposite creeks, and that's where you get your footsteps from.
- 19:49SPEAKER_03: Now, can we say it's that?
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: No, we want to believe it's footsteps.
- 19:53SPEAKER_02: Well, we want everything to be paranormal.
- 19:56SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we want.
- 19:58SPEAKER_03: I mean, it makes good good TikTok videos.
- 20:01SPEAKER_03: Yes, it does.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: It makes the evening funner too.
- 20:06SPEAKER_03: We talked a little bit about uh, you know, like skydiving and all that stuff, that adrenaline junkie stuff, and it goes with paranormal also.
- 20:14SPEAKER_03: I don't know about you, but there was a time and point where you walk into a room, especially a creepy basement, creepy hallway, and you got that I shouldn't be here feeling.
- 20:25SPEAKER_03: I like that feeling.
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: I mean, I again when you jump, you know, you kind of like that like adrenaline, you know, up a little bit.
- 20:36SPEAKER_03: Like seeing a shadow figure, hearing that voice.
- 20:39SPEAKER_03: You always want to do that again.
- 20:42SPEAKER_03: You want to see that shadow figure again.
- 20:44SPEAKER_02: That's why we do this to go to pay for and even on our first investigation.
- 20:50SPEAKER_02: I I know I can't speak for these guys, but I felt this uh overwhelming feeling of almost dread.
- 20:59SPEAKER_02: And now I kind of want to have that feeling again.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: Because you're more comfortable, it doesn't affect you.
- 21:05SPEAKER_02: Well, it right.
- 21:06SPEAKER_02: It it it it's gonna it's gonna feel differently, but it's like you're again, you are looking for that feeling again when you go into a location, and it is I don't know if you call it adrenaline, I don't know what it is, but that feeling is I don't want to say comforting, but it's it's something you you want to feel again.
- 21:25SPEAKER_02: I don't know why that is.
- 21:26SPEAKER_02: It's weird.
- 21:27SPEAKER_02: We're weird.
- 21:28SPEAKER_02: That's just we have this, there's something in us in our DNA that makes us want to do this.
- 21:32SPEAKER_02: I don't know what it is.
- 21:34SPEAKER_03: But it's do you kind of like want that proof that it did happen the first time?
- 21:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 21:40SPEAKER_03: That's what it is.
- 21:41SPEAKER_03: I mean, is it your mind just playing with you?
- 21:44SPEAKER_03: And that's what you're gonna start thinking because our minds are you know F us up a lot, so especially doing paranormal.
- 21:51SPEAKER_03: Do I want that feeling again?
- 21:52SPEAKER_03: So I can say, Hey, yes, that was in fact that feeling I was feeling before.
- 21:59SPEAKER_03: You know, so I mean, that's why we do this kind of, you know, selfishly.
- 22:04SPEAKER_03: It is.
- 22:05SPEAKER_03: It is a selfish thing.
- 22:06SPEAKER_03: It is.
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: The more you do it, the more your those feelings develop in you and you learn to recognize them.
- 22:12SPEAKER_01: And right you you know to trust your body when you have those feelings when you yeah, when you start doing it more and more often.
- 22:19SPEAKER_02: Yeah, you build your intuitiveness for sure.
- 22:21SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 22:22SPEAKER_03: Do you guys feel that you guys are more open now to the paranormal?
- 22:27SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 22:28SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 22:28SPEAKER_02: Most definitely.
- 22:29SPEAKER_00: I've always been open to the paranormal.
- 22:31SPEAKER_00: Like I said, I had I had experiences when I was like 10, so I I was absolutely up.
- 22:35SPEAKER_00: I know exists.
- 22:37SPEAKER_00: But um I think that I I I trust I tr yeah, I trust my instruction form.
- 22:44SPEAKER_00: Just because I have I have like stretched it a little bit with those different locations and stuff.
- 22:50SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I've always I've always believed.
- 22:53SPEAKER_01: I've always been a total believer, but I think I'm more I I always believed, but there's a little piece piece in the back of your mind where well I haven't seen anything yet.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: So maybe I'm just dumb.
- 23:08SPEAKER_01: But I always believed, but then with the first time we got evidence and it was it was significant significant.
- 23:13SPEAKER_01: And I was you know, yes, I I you know that faith in myself was well put.
- 23:22SPEAKER_03: So yeah, it's it just takes that one time.
- 23:26SPEAKER_03: Oh it's kind of like that oh shit factor, like oh yeah, exactly.
- 23:33SPEAKER_03: Yeah, no, I just see what I saw, you know.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: What I just heard, or yeah, yeah.
- 23:41SPEAKER_03: Let me throw a couple of things up here.
- 23:43SPEAKER_03: Um, Chris Stant.
- 23:45SPEAKER_03: Uh he's been quiet lately, but he jumped on tonight.
- 23:49SPEAKER_03: Said nice to meet you all.
- 23:51SPEAKER_03: Let me just throw Intensive.
- 23:55SPEAKER_03: And then Alma Elise from Albay Paranormal.
- 23:58SPEAKER_03: We're all weird.
- 24:00SPEAKER_03: She knows me too well.
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: So um she's one I investigate with a lot, talk to a lot.
- 24:08SPEAKER_02: So maybe we're normal, and everybody else that doesn't do this is weird.
- 24:12SPEAKER_00: No, there you go.
- 24:13SPEAKER_00: Sorry, perception.
- 24:16SPEAKER_03: If you want to convince yourself of that, I'll go with that.
- 24:21SPEAKER_03: Um, have you uh for all three of you, you go down order here.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: Has there anybody been a time where you were like, maybe I should not be doing this?
- 24:33SPEAKER_03: Like the oh crap factor type thing.
- 24:37SPEAKER_00: I think the only thing the only time I ever felt that was when, like I said, there was the one time that I felt like somebody else was controlling my body.
- 24:46SPEAKER_00: That was very scary, and I didn't like that at all.
- 24:49SPEAKER_03: Um can you elaborate on that?
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Um, actually, it was at Vuliska, and uh I was in the attic.
- 24:56SPEAKER_00: We were up there and it was our first investigation, and I was we were in the children's room, and I just got this urge to go into the attic.
- 25:03SPEAKER_00: So I went into the attic and I kneeled down, and all of a sudden I couldn't speak, I couldn't stand, I couldn't, I it was hard to breathe.
- 25:12SPEAKER_00: Um, and it was like somebody else was like hunkering me down.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: Um, when they had to come in and help me up and out, and as soon as I got out, I could talk again.
- 25:20SPEAKER_00: I'm like, just get off of me.
- 25:21SPEAKER_00: I'll talk to you later if you want to communicate, get off of me.
- 25:24SPEAKER_00: And then I looked at them and I said, I need to go outside now.
- 25:26SPEAKER_00: And that was because I couldn't talk.
- 25:29SPEAKER_00: That's uh that's a scary feeling.
- 25:33SPEAKER_00: I can't you can't like say, Hey, I need help, you know.
- 25:36SPEAKER_00: So that was that was uh that was probably sorry, doesn't usually affect.
- 25:43SPEAKER_03: I mean it's emotional, trust me.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: I don't I don't know that I've ever felt that hey, I shouldn't I've and I've had some moments I'd say the most emotional I've ever gotten, the most overwhelmed, I guess, is what I've ever gotten was on a uh residential where I kind of broke down.
- 26:00SPEAKER_02: I I felt this, I I almost felt this um overwhelming feeling from the family member that was trying to that was there just to kind of watch over and protect their family.
- 26:11SPEAKER_02: And I I felt that.
- 26:13SPEAKER_02: Uh, but I didn't feel like I I shouldn't be doing this.
- 26:16SPEAKER_02: I just felt like yeah, it was just very emotional.
- 26:19SPEAKER_02: And then there was one time we were investigating in jail in Iowa where I kind of got that same kind of feeling again.
- 26:25SPEAKER_02: Um, but it was from like there was a small child that was trapped there.
- 26:29SPEAKER_02: But again, I know I never felt like I don't I shouldn't be here.
- 26:33SPEAKER_02: I just felt very in that moment, but I was kind of comfortable with it, I guess.
- 26:39SPEAKER_02: I don't know what I've ever felt that I didn't want to be or I shouldn't be doing this.
- 26:43SPEAKER_01: I I never have.
- 26:45SPEAKER_01: Uh I've I've felt um I've felt the emotions.
- 26:48SPEAKER_01: I've been overcome more many times, but I I've never felt like it's something that I shouldn't be doing.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: It almost makes me feel like I'm at the right place.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 27:00SPEAKER_00: Uh like I'm supposed to be there.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: Well, and the fact that the fact that that was my first time um in an actual investigation, the first time that I had actually had that kind of experience.
- 27:13SPEAKER_00: The experiences I had when I was young were nothing like that.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: So that I think that that was probably why I was just like, Oh, did I cross a line I wasn't supposed to?
- 27:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and we we didn't really know as much about protecting ourselves.
- 27:24SPEAKER_01: No, no, we didn't.
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: So you get better as this as you go along.
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: It kind of seems like you have like three kind of like what's it, empath type people on your group.
- 27:38SPEAKER_03: I mean, you guess for a lot of the emotions from the spirits.
- 27:43SPEAKER_02: We do, we all yeah, and I've learned a lot from from these two, yeah, because I think they're both very intuitive, and I've just kind of learned how from them, how to kind of connect with that a lot more.
- 27:55SPEAKER_02: How to open yourself, yes, how to open myself more, I guess is a good way to put it.
- 27:58SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and again, that's something the more you do it, yeah.
- 28:01SPEAKER_01: Right, the experience the more you the more you feel it, the more you you experience it.
- 28:06SPEAKER_03: I mean, and you did the right thing, you stepped out, like you felt over, I guess, burden, you want to call it.
- 28:13SPEAKER_03: And the best thing is just to step out.
- 28:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you know, I needed to be outside with my feet in the grass.
- 28:19SPEAKER_01: That's thrown there.
- 28:21SPEAKER_01: And the nice thing is I knew that she needed help.
- 28:23SPEAKER_01: So because you know, we're close enough that we can sense when there's a problem.
- 28:28SPEAKER_02: So we keep an eye on each other.
- 28:29SPEAKER_02: We're all very protective of each other, yeah.
- 28:31SPEAKER_03: You know, and that's good.
- 28:32SPEAKER_03: I mean, a lot more groups need that.
- 28:34SPEAKER_03: I mean, you want to push yourself to a limit, and too many people push themselves too much.
- 28:40SPEAKER_02: Have somebody else push them to that point too.
- 28:43SPEAKER_02: We're not the type of team that's gonna, hey, who's gonna go down in the basement and put a blindfold and handcuffs on in the bottom of a jail?
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: I don't want to.
- 28:52SPEAKER_03: That's definitely me, dude.
- 28:53SPEAKER_03: I'm not gonna lie.
- 28:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I push my this isn't fear factor.
- 28:59SPEAKER_03: I push my team to the limit, but I also know when to back off.
- 29:05SPEAKER_02: Yes, and if you're not gonna do it, don't make somebody else do it.
- 29:09SPEAKER_03: The problem is I will freaking do anything.
- 29:14SPEAKER_02: And we have we respect that, we really do.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: We're not judging how other people's what the techniques they use.
- 29:20SPEAKER_02: I kind of think yeah, we're not judging how the techniques, the the equipment people use.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: You guys be you, do whatever you want to do.
- 29:27SPEAKER_00: She's our brave one.
- 29:28SPEAKER_00: We call her our Katrina.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, I don't know.
- 29:32SPEAKER_00: And she's like, I'll do it.
- 29:34SPEAKER_02: Well, Nate, you're gonna go down in the basement first, right?
- 29:37SPEAKER_02: We'll follow you first.
- 29:39SPEAKER_03: I mean, my my dream investigation is to be locked in the catacombs with no flashlight.
- 29:44SPEAKER_03: Oh no, sorry.
- 29:48SPEAKER_00: I mean, maybe and happy for you.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: Um let us know how that goes, dude.
- 29:54SPEAKER_03: I mean, I'm not gonna say I'm not gonna be scared.
- 29:58SPEAKER_03: I will be scared, but I still want to do it because of the adrenaline.
- 30:02SPEAKER_03: Like what the um, yeah, I'm I said that felt personal, but whatever.
- 30:09SPEAKER_02: So everybody can do anybody can do whatever they want to do and how they want to do it.
- 30:15SPEAKER_02: We're not here to judge.
- 30:16SPEAKER_02: This is just kind of you know, this is what we do.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I always believe solos are important during investigations because you're gonna get answers better.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: So that's why I push my team to do that and push them a little farther.
- 30:33SPEAKER_03: Um, I have one girl that's on my team, Sarah, scared.
- 30:37SPEAKER_03: We call her Scared Sarah, Air Sarah, Scarh, Scream, Sarah.
- 30:42SPEAKER_03: I mean, there's a lot, she has a lot of nicknames.
- 30:45SPEAKER_03: And I cannot get her to do it solo, but I believe she can.
- 30:50SPEAKER_03: She's an unbelievable investigator, and I push her every time, and I cannot get that done.
- 30:56SPEAKER_03: And I know one be like, yeah, it's not gonna happen, like I'm cool with it, right?
- 31:01SPEAKER_03: But I keep trying to push her to do that solo because I know she can personally, I know she can.
- 31:07SPEAKER_03: She's a friend of mine.
- 31:10SPEAKER_03: You guys do solos besides her, because I know she does.
- 31:13SPEAKER_03: I don't know if I'm pointing the right direction.
- 31:15SPEAKER_03: Her.
- 31:16SPEAKER_04: Her?
- 31:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I know she does solos.
- 31:20SPEAKER_03: I can tell already.
- 31:26SPEAKER_03: Oh, do you guys do solos when you guys go out?
- 31:30SPEAKER_01: Uh we always talk about it.
- 31:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, we have.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: We have.
- 31:33SPEAKER_02: We haven't really been to like a trans-Allegheny, we haven't been to one of these enormous asylums or anything like that either.
- 31:40SPEAKER_02: The biggest place we've probably been to is Malvern Manor in Iowa, which we could do solos.
- 31:46SPEAKER_02: I think we did solos in the place in Plainview.
- 31:49SPEAKER_01: Yes, yeah.
- 31:51SPEAKER_02: Um, it's a smaller, but yeah, it's a it's a res it was a residential, but we did solos because we had someone upstairs and somebody in the main floor, and someone I was in the basement.
- 32:00SPEAKER_02: So we have probably probably do more than we actually do.
- 32:04SPEAKER_02: Um, but we kind of there's something about the three of us that kind of brings out stuff when we're all together.
- 32:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's the trifecta.
- 32:13SPEAKER_00: And the other thing too is we always make plans.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: We always like, okay, this is what I want to do this, this, this, and this, and then you get in there, and that just doesn't happen.
- 32:21SPEAKER_00: So yeah.
- 32:22SPEAKER_00: It's just like that's not gonna let's go over here and do this instead, and then you know, and then you get stuck doing something over here because you're getting results and you don't want to do anything, right?
- 32:29SPEAKER_02: Well, you get into a place in the energy is what it is, and then you just kind of figure out, oh, I want to check out this, and yeah, we try to plan, it doesn't always go that way.
- 32:38SPEAKER_03: I mean, the spirits dictate your investigation, yeah.
- 32:41SPEAKER_02: The energy is kind of you know, dictate your own.
- 32:43SPEAKER_00: You can always plan so much, yeah.
- 32:45SPEAKER_02: Right, yeah, yeah.
- 32:46SPEAKER_00: What equipment you're bringing, that's about it.
- 32:48SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we just every time we go pretty much now.
- 32:52SPEAKER_02: Every time we go to a place and we've been planning it for quite a while, we talk about it and hey, what should we bring?
- 32:58SPEAKER_02: And we're always like, everything.
- 33:02SPEAKER_05: I mean, you never know, you know.
- 33:04SPEAKER_02: Yeah, it's you don't want to be in a place where hey, I wish I had this, I wish I had that.
- 33:09SPEAKER_02: Well, we've got it, it's just out the car, I just gotta go get it.
- 33:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, yeah.
- 33:13SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, at least uh may paranormal, so it doesn't have to be a big place to do a solo.
- 33:18SPEAKER_02: No, and we get that we've we've done them in small places, uh, like a residential home.
- 33:22SPEAKER_02: We have.
- 33:23SPEAKER_03: But I mean, my issue here is like solos, I think, are important when you're going to hospitals, uh say asylums, because they were so because they were solo patients.
- 33:35SPEAKER_03: The only people they saw were nurses or doctors.
- 33:38SPEAKER_03: So when you go in with five, six people, they're gonna shy away.
- 33:43SPEAKER_03: So that's why I like doing solos.
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, and that makes sense.
- 33:46SPEAKER_02: And we really haven't we just haven't done a lot of those places.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Melbourne Manor is probably the Melbourne Manor, yeah, in Melbourne, Iowa.
- 33:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's the biggest place, which used to be a uh um a nursing home back in the day.
- 33:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah, a lot of things, yeah.
- 34:00SPEAKER_03: Oh nursing homes are a whole different story.
- 34:04SPEAKER_02: They are, yeah.
- 34:05SPEAKER_03: I mean, you're talking about yeah, people that were solo there, which is sad.
- 34:12SPEAKER_03: I hate thinking about that.
- 34:14SPEAKER_03: Yeah, people are just forgotten.
- 34:17SPEAKER_03: Forgotten.
- 34:18SPEAKER_03: It's just it's terrible.
- 34:19SPEAKER_03: I I I hate thinking about that stuff.
- 34:21SPEAKER_03: I mean, to be honest with you.
- 34:23SPEAKER_02: It's always that there's always the human factor involved, whether alive or past, deserve this is about people.
- 34:30SPEAKER_02: It really, really is.
- 34:31SPEAKER_02: That's what the core of this is about.
- 34:33SPEAKER_02: It's about people.
- 34:35SPEAKER_03: It is that's that's the main point.
- 34:38SPEAKER_03: I mean, everybody says they want to find the answers to the afterlife.
- 34:44SPEAKER_03: And I tell them straight out, that's not why I do this, because I'm gonna figure that out sooner or later.
- 34:50SPEAKER_03: That's guaranteed.
- 34:52SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 34:54SPEAKER_03: Um, it's about the people, like you said, about the stories, the memories, and you that's what you guys are doing right now.
- 35:00SPEAKER_03: You're creating memories together as a family.
- 35:03SPEAKER_03: Absolutely.
- 35:05SPEAKER_03: That's what's all about.
- 35:07SPEAKER_03: And when you pass, you want your memories to be remembered.
- 35:12SPEAKER_03: Right.
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: Like, hey man, this dude went to this buffet in Pennsylvania and killed him.
- 35:19SPEAKER_03: I mean put them out of business.
- 35:27SPEAKER_00: We try when we do on a go on our road trip trips, we do try to make sure we don't eat anywhere we could eat at home.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: We don't try not to do any fast food.
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: The only place we've we've not done that was when you and I went to Canada because everything's different in Canada, but otherwise we try to do we we like to find the little the hometown cafes and this you know, bar grills and well, yeah.
- 35:47SPEAKER_02: I've always I've always said I think the ultimate uh trip would be combining diners, drive-ins, and dives with yes, the most haunted places in the country.
- 35:56SPEAKER_02: Why wouldn't you want to do that?
- 35:59SPEAKER_03: You could go on their website and they have a map of diners driving dives.
- 36:04SPEAKER_03: Yes, they do.
- 36:05SPEAKER_01: Nobody steal that idea.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: No, that's ours.
- 36:09SPEAKER_05: We totally came up with that one.
- 36:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 36:14SPEAKER_03: So you guys been to Canada.
- 36:16SPEAKER_03: Have you investigated in Canada?
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: Um, Lynn and I did.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 36:20SPEAKER_01: We go ahead.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: We we went to um there's an amethyst mine in thumb Thunder Bay just north of just across the border, not too far from Minnesota.
- 36:28SPEAKER_01: From Minnesota.
- 36:29SPEAKER_01: And there's another team up there, Lucky Paramour, that we met at another event.
- 36:34SPEAKER_01: Um, and we investigated with them a little bit at uh the uh Tilted Turret.
- 36:40SPEAKER_01: Tilted Turret and then the Courthouse Hotel in Thunder Bay, also very haunted.
- 36:46SPEAKER_01: Um, we stayed there.
- 36:47SPEAKER_01: We always stay there.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: We always stay we've been there a couple times now just because it's Amethyst 9.
- 36:55SPEAKER_01: We're kind of into Amethyst.
- 36:59SPEAKER_03: So those crystal lovers, I see, but that's fine.
- 37:03SPEAKER_02: If you can see this entire room, it's full of crystals.
- 37:07SPEAKER_00: This is the mellow space.
- 37:08SPEAKER_00: See here, right?
- 37:09SPEAKER_02: This is her Reiki room.
- 37:10SPEAKER_00: Um, and it's full of crystals and the most peaceful place in the house.
- 37:14SPEAKER_00: Probably the most peaceful place in town.
- 37:19SPEAKER_03: Oh man, just losing my train of thought, laughing too much, but no.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: This is how we go through the investigation, how we try to listen to evidence and get something.
- 37:31SPEAKER_03: That's cool.
- 37:33SPEAKER_03: Well, we'll go into crystals.
- 37:34SPEAKER_03: So I'm not a huge believer in crystals.
- 37:36SPEAKER_03: That's just me.
- 37:38SPEAKER_03: But I am a believer and whatever you believe in works.
- 37:44SPEAKER_03: Does that make sense?
- 37:45SPEAKER_02: Yeah, absolutely.
- 37:46SPEAKER_02: That is very reasonable, yes.
- 37:48SPEAKER_03: Um, like I believe my faith and my positive energy, which is odd.
- 37:54SPEAKER_03: People always think positive energy.
- 37:56SPEAKER_03: But yes, my positive energy protects me.
- 37:59SPEAKER_03: That's what my belief is.
- 38:01SPEAKER_03: And it's worked so far, so I think.
- 38:04SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 38:05SPEAKER_03: I've never investigated my house, but we'll see one day.
- 38:09SPEAKER_00: That's number one rule, you know.
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: But I mean, what do you guys really, you know, believe in protection-wise?
- 38:18SPEAKER_03: Is it crystal, sage, faith?
- 38:22SPEAKER_00: Um, I think a lot of it's uh basically a faith energy type situation.
- 38:27SPEAKER_00: Um we do use sage and stuff when we when we leave just to to cleanse our the air.
- 38:34SPEAKER_00: Um, I kind of push that stuff on them.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: Um, I make them little crystal packets and you know this is your protection for this investigation.
- 38:42SPEAKER_00: And but I feel like the the energy, yeah, again, even if it's just the intention of them understanding I need to protect myself and and have this like symbolic thing to make sure that they're protecting their self, them, their their energy and around them.
- 38:56SPEAKER_00: Because I just want everybody to be safe.
- 38:58SPEAKER_00: And uh he lives with me, so he's not allowed to bring anything home.
- 39:01SPEAKER_00: And uh I would I I I'm assuming her husband would not be a meeting.
- 39:06SPEAKER_03: So your husband's not into this at all, or he's not he doesn't have the patience.
- 39:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he can't sit trying to investigate with him before, and he just he just can't sit in one space for too long unless something's happening, right?
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: And that's just not how this works.
- 39:27SPEAKER_02: Well, and as we all know, there are hours and hours where it ain't nothing happening.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and sometimes you just have to be quiet, right?
- 39:35SPEAKER_01: When we win the lottery, we're gonna get an RV and he's gonna drive.
- 39:38SPEAKER_01: Yes, he'll be our chauffeur, and we'll just investigate and do the diner and drive in and have a chauffeur, chauffeur.
- 39:49SPEAKER_03: No, I mean there there are people like that that do investigate, and I hear it on a whole bunch of stuff.
- 39:55SPEAKER_03: Is you hear them yelling at the spirits like, come on, you gotta say something.
- 40:01SPEAKER_03: I'm like, they're not there to perform.
- 40:04SPEAKER_03: It's the last time I'm investigating with you.
- 40:07SPEAKER_03: Sorry to say that.
- 40:09SPEAKER_00: We don't like that either.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 40:11SPEAKER_00: Oh, we've we've we've had experiences.
- 40:13SPEAKER_00: Well, we've observed, we haven't really had experiences with, but we've observed some other other um groups that we're just like, oh, that's that's we don't really do it that way, and we're not gonna tell you that you're doing it wrong, but we're not gonna do it that way.
- 40:27SPEAKER_00: So we're gonna go over here.
- 40:29SPEAKER_02: It's not our place to tell anyone what's the right and wrong way to do it.
- 40:34SPEAKER_02: Um, whatever works as long as you're being respectful.
- 40:38SPEAKER_02: That's not as basic as you can.
- 40:40SPEAKER_02: Yes, yeah, but we know it works for us, yeah.
- 40:43SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I mean, there's no right or wrong way.
- 40:44SPEAKER_03: We don't know the right way.
- 40:45SPEAKER_03: No, there really are.
- 40:46SPEAKER_02: It's it's not an exact science, it's uh it's a pseudoscience.
- 40:50SPEAKER_02: So it is what it is.
