  [SPEAKER_00]: Today from an injury standpoint, still no hundred long he's been out the entire mini camp off to the side.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis Hunter, he's still doing the same thing, we've talked about all off season where he's on the offensive, the ballies, and every offensive huddle,

  [SPEAKER_00]: He gets the call, he goes off to his little spot, you know, behind the offense, and basically simulate everything he would be doing if he was actually participating fully in the practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's super locked in, super dialed in, high energy, and speaking of high energy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: At the end of practice, this was really fun to, you know, in mandatory minicamp, they had two rookies go back to try to catch a punt first, they started with the offensive

  [SPEAKER_00]: manual pregnant, go back try to catch a punt was not successful, and then Albert Regis, defensive tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Went back, fielded a punt, caught it cleanly, and that ended practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if they were doing that to end practice early or like if one of those guys catches it, they end practice early or if they're going to get a day off or something like that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Either way, you know, that's like always a fun bonding team building experience and like you got Brian Thomas Jr. going down and wiping them off trying to make sure that they're all prepared.

  [SPEAKER_00]: To actually catch a football field of punt which is much more difficult than then maybe it looks You know when you're just watching on TV Obviously some part return is make it look difficult, but yeah, most of those guys make it look like it's easy work And it's certainly not especially when you're not used to doing it like an offensive laminar defense of laminate But it was pretty funny to see the the Technique Much better for Regis and he caught the ball so good for him and that didn't practice

  [SPEAKER_00]: The one thing we've been watching a lot, you know, is offensive line and just offense, pre-snap, like having penalties is a key.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He was a little upset about that, but overall, I mean, one fall start in a practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think the most you've seen in any practice so far that we've been able to attend, which has been,

  [SPEAKER_00]: five practices from OTAs and mandatory mini camp.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think you've had one day where there was two pre-snap penalties.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So it's been better than it was last year for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you would expect that and hope that would be the case.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When it came to 11 on 11, Trevor Lawrence,

  [SPEAKER_00]: They started in the red zone with the first team offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: His first throw of the day in 11 on 11, and the red zone was a touchdown to Jacobi Myers.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Very nice, very nice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then the second one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just kind of throw it to no one and I do believe that Tanner Kozio was open on that play, but obviously would have to go back and watch the replay to confirm that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it was right in front of me, but you never know, maybe there was somebody that was standing in front of Kozio that I didn't see or couldn't gauge the depth and all that stuff, but to me it looked like Kozio was open and Trevor just threw it to no one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So one of two and then his third pass there in that red zone period was a touchdown

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if he got it, but the referees were out there and they called it touchdown.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But a solid red zone drill for the jackwars and for Trevor Lawrence scoring two touchdowns in that red zone's been an area where the jackwars, not just last year, but like in general, you just want to see improvement like

  [SPEAKER_00]: They've just been not the best red zone team for a very long time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they got better last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that they can continue to get better in that regard.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then Trevor Lawrence, first team offense, they got out there and started doing some middle of the field work, completed a past-of-brand Thomas Jr., had an incomplete one over the middle of the field.

  [SPEAKER_00]: There was a bunch of players behind the place in between me and the place, so I couldn't actually see

  [SPEAKER_00]: the exact details of that one, but it looked like it was defender got his hands on it first, so that was a little bit dangerous one, three or five at that point, and then a big completion down the field to Britain's strange was really impressive, so he was four of six at that point, and then he hit Parker Washington pretty short to go five of seven, and then you had one more period where they were out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They didn't have as many past plays for Trevor Lawrence as a normal practice, only 10 total, but third down mom-ma-period.

  [SPEAKER_00]: First play of Mamba for Trevor Lawrence was an incompletion to Brian Thomas Jr. Christian Braswell just stuck with him and made a really good play on the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Really impressive play by Braswell.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Probably a play you'd like to see, can be cheap make that play, but the defender was in great coverage and made a good play, you know, it is what it is sometimes that's gonna happen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then Trevor completed one to Parker Washington for a really nice catch and run.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that would have gotten a first down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So at that point, he was six of nine.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then he completed one to Jacobi Myers for his final attempt of practice to finish seven of 10 with two red zone touchdowns.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think Brian Thomas Jr. just continues to have a different presence on the field, which is awesome to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's just so evident that it feels different from a mentality standpoint, from the way he's approaching things, from his energy out there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And how successful he is on a day-to-day basis right now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Unlike anything you've really ever seen from him, from a consistency standpoint, at this point in the year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So obviously no pads, not getting hit, but if he can continue to play this way, the Jack Wars are going to have one of the best wide receiver groups in football, and definitely one of the best passing games in football.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think this guy's a little, you know, Travis Hunter wasn't either.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of, you know, growing that passing game, Tanner Crosiel every single day is making a play where, you know, it's either a tight window grab and he made one today, not from Trevor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Touched down in red zone, drill, tanner, cozoal, red online was in tight coverage, but you wouldn't got it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was just like a well-placed football and tight coverage that cozoal did extend for.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It seems like the guy who was the most productive tight-end and college football for the last couple of years is a receiver might actually be good at catching the football, shocking.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Austin Tramel scored a touchdown, he's just, he's just such a steady practice player for the most part.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's a guy that they'll probably try to keep around on the practice squad.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Derfey, the rookie Eddresher, out of Washington, he had a would-be sack for sure that was nice to see.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he's popped a few times now throughout these practices, so good to see him making some plays, basal toot and goodness gracious.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Really, when you think about the way he's been playing and no pads, you're not really tackling to the ground or tackling at all, but he's finding lanes, he's looking agile, he's looking incredibly fast, he's playing great football and to Barmohamed had another pass break-up today, this guy has been getting pass break-ups every single practice.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Rucororo, he had another day where I saw him getting the backfield multiple times, so he's doing his thing penetrating from the interior of the defensive line.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A mirror of dual, I had a drop out of the backfield, which, you know, he was pretty frustrated about where the rookie number zero really kind of diminutive wide receiver, but very quick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He went up and got the football, was an impressive play for him, for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: three OTAs I believe there's only one that media will be permitted to attend which will be on Monday I'm not going to be out there my son and my sister have the same birthday so we're going to be celebrating next week early next week for that so I won't be out there but as I mentioned Liam Cohen said it's going to be basically a passing camp that's going to be their main focus and obviously there will be a lot of boots on the ground from other media.
