Artist JD Hawk turned his summer volunteering at Lower Fort Garry into a vibrant art project, painting live on-site to create rough drafts that later became 14 new pieces—8 now on display. Three of those, turned into coloring pages, let kids engage with his art. His unique contribution, the first of its kind at the site, shows how volunteering can take unexpected forms.
