  SPEAKER_00: Hello, everyone.
• 0:02
SPEAKER_00: Welcome back to the Unity Code.
• 0:05
SPEAKER_00: I am so excited today to talk about my trip, my first international retreat experience in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
• 0:14
SPEAKER_00: And this was such an important lesson on trust for me, as my team has lovingly asked me to trust them since day one of this metaphysical journey because trust and I go way deep.
• 0:28
SPEAKER_00: Like we go way deep.
• 0:29
  SPEAKER_00: I trust nobody.
• 0:30
  SPEAKER_00: I'm like the X-files over here.
• 0:32
SPEAKER_00: And so this has been an astounding example of the magic of trust with spirit.
• 0:39
SPEAKER_00: And I wanted to walk through this story, this path with all of you today, because I think it's so interesting that a lot of people love to say, trust the universe, that the universe always has a plan.
• 0:52
SPEAKER_00: Hell, I say it to my clients all the time.
• 0:54
  SPEAKER_00: I'm so sorry, everybody.
• 0:56
SPEAKER_00: But that is the reality of it.
• 0:57
SPEAKER_00: And it's so interesting because one of the first Oracle decks I ever bought was Gabrielle Bernstein.
• 1:04
  SPEAKER_00: I know she's lovely.
• 1:05
SPEAKER_00: Her Oracle deck, the universe has your back.
• 1:10
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, oh, this is such a lovely thought.
• 1:12
SPEAKER_00: And then I opened up that Oracle deck and I looked at it and I was like, this is some bullshit right here.
• 1:18
SPEAKER_00: This is this is the fluffy shit that gets tossed around on Instagram with sparkles and angel numbers.
• 1:23
SPEAKER_00: And we're going to talk about that soon, too.
• 1:26
SPEAKER_00: I want the type of trust in the universe that like strips me bare, tells me to just show up, even though I don't trust the process, even though it's a black box, and trust that my universe truly does have my back and that I feel like I'm still guided.
• 1:49
SPEAKER_00: And this is something I've just struggled with constantly.
• 1:51
SPEAKER_00: I cannot tell you how many times I've heard over the course of my metaphysical journey, like, Nicole, you need to trust your team more.
• 1:57
SPEAKER_00: Stop trying to control the outcome.
• 1:59
  SPEAKER_00: You're safe.
• 1:59
SPEAKER_00: It's time to let go.
• 2:00
SPEAKER_00: And every time they'd say it, I would politely nod and be like, yeah, yeah, I get it.
• 2:05
  SPEAKER_00: Except I didn't.
• 2:06
SPEAKER_00: I really didn't understand it until this trip to Port of Bayarta because that's when Spirit finally decided to hand me the masterclass of trust in the middle of marigolds and tequila.
• 2:17
SPEAKER_00: Yes, I love my tequila in the day of the dead altar.
• 2:19
SPEAKER_00: I still don't drink much, but what tequila's always been a friend of mine.
• 2:22
SPEAKER_00: Let's just put that out there.
• 2:24
SPEAKER_00: And so today I'm gonna take you behind the scenes of that retreat and show you exactly what happens when we show up and trust spirit.
• 2:33
SPEAKER_00: So let's rewind to how it all started because this trip literally fell out of the sky for me.
• 2:40
SPEAKER_00: Um about a year ago, the lovely person who is running this retreat, her name is Julie, she had reached out to me about a year ago to ask me part two teach in this Porto Vallta Dia de los Mortos trip.
• 2:56
SPEAKER_00: And so I know her through Soul Journey Sundays.
• 2:59
SPEAKER_00: It's a lovely Sunday event to get a reading.
• 3:01
SPEAKER_00: If you haven't been, please go.
• 3:03
SPEAKER_00: But she knew that I was taking my shamana classes, and Spirit told her, invite Nicole, invite Nicole, invite Nicole.
• 3:10
SPEAKER_00: This happens to me all the time, by the way.
• 3:11
  SPEAKER_00: I freaking love it.
• 3:12
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I it spirit goes through everybody else but me.
• 3:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, so she reached out, asked if I'd participate, and it was in obviously perfect alignment with my journey because as I mentioned, I was taking the shamanic studies, right?
• 3:29
  SPEAKER_00: I love Mexico.
• 3:30
SPEAKER_00: Did you know when I was little, I used to tell everybody that my dad was Mexican.
• 3:35
  SPEAKER_00: He's not.
• 3:37
SPEAKER_00: Just because I loved the food that much.
• 3:39
SPEAKER_00: So I do love the culture, the food, obviously, the ancestors.
• 3:44
SPEAKER_00: I love the Dia de los Mortos style and holiday.
• 3:48
SPEAKER_00: And just so you know, my third tattoo was of my soul dog in the Dia de los Mortos style.
• 3:55
SPEAKER_00: So this is totally spiritual foreshadowing here, everybody.
• 3:58
SPEAKER_00: And so I didn't even think twice.
• 4:01
SPEAKER_00: I said yes instantly, and the logistics just fell into place, right?
• 4:06
SPEAKER_00: My lovely husband came along, my in-laws watched my kids.
• 4:12
SPEAKER_00: God, they're saints, and my other in-laws watched my dog, right?
• 4:17
SPEAKER_00: Like it was just the perfect easiest flow state to get to Mexico.
• 4:22
  SPEAKER_00: But here's the catch.
• 4:24
SPEAKER_00: About days before flying out, six days before I was supposed to teach, still not knowing what on earth I was going to be teaching in Puerto Villar to Mexico.
• 4:35
SPEAKER_00: So much so that one of my students in the mediumship mastermind asked me, Are you, are you nervous?
• 4:41
SPEAKER_00: Are you nervous about this retreat?
• 4:43
SPEAKER_00: And to be honest with you, I wasn't nervous at all.
• 4:46
SPEAKER_00: And I let her know that.
• 4:47
SPEAKER_00: And I said, My team always delivers something amazing.
• 4:50
SPEAKER_00: And so I trust them and I know that they're going to give me something amazing to teach down in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
• 4:57
SPEAKER_00: And I had this really strange calm about it, really strange trust about it.
• 5:04
  SPEAKER_00: Because historically they do.
• 5:06
SPEAKER_00: I have learned enough to know that if I don't stress about it, my team shows up with something way bigger, way better than I could have ever planned.
• 5:14
SPEAKER_00: And so after that mediumship mastermind class that night, there was a thought that dropped in my head.
• 5:21
SPEAKER_00: And when I say that, those of you know, you know, that's always spirit.
• 5:26
SPEAKER_00: When you get a random thought in your head, it's always spirit.
• 5:29
SPEAKER_00: The thought was me chatting with the travel agent a few weeks earlier, and she was hyping me up for the trip.
• 5:36
SPEAKER_00: And she was asking about me and my class and what I was going to teach.
• 5:39
  SPEAKER_00: Of course, I didn't tell her.
• 5:40
  SPEAKER_00: I told her I don't know yet.
• 5:42
SPEAKER_00: And she told me to look up La Katrina.
• 5:45
SPEAKER_00: She said, I think you're going to love it.
• 5:46
SPEAKER_00: Go look it up if you haven't heard of it.
• 5:48
SPEAKER_00: It's a really big part of Diodolis Martos.
• 5:50
SPEAKER_00: So I heard that talk track in my head and I said, All right, spirit, I see you.
• 5:56
  SPEAKER_00: I see you.
• 5:56
SPEAKER_00: So I get onto Google and I start searching for La Katrina.
• 6:02
SPEAKER_00: And if you haven't heard of La Katrina, she is the absolutely gorgeous skeleton in the wide-brimmed hat that's smiling at you, dressed to the nines as part of the Dia de los Mortos celebration.
• 6:19
SPEAKER_00: Um, she looks like royalty.
• 6:21
SPEAKER_00: She's absolutely gorgeous, and she started over a century ago as satire.
• 6:27
SPEAKER_00: So it was the artist's way of mocking the upper class.
• 6:30
SPEAKER_00: I love this, as a reminder that no one escapes death, no matter how wealthy you are.
• 6:34
SPEAKER_00: Uh, we all end up as bones in the end.
• 6:37
SPEAKER_00: So over time, this satire cartoon became a political statement and a sacred icon of the Dia de los Muertos holiday.
• 6:46
SPEAKER_00: So you end up seeing Le Katrinas all over Mexico, all over the world for anyone that's celebrating this incredible holiday because it became a symbol of equality and remembrance and joy.
• 6:58
SPEAKER_00: Because she reminds us that death is not the opposite of life, it's part of life.
• 7:03
SPEAKER_00: And so that's why people paint their face in the sugar skull candy, sugar candy skull.
• 7:10
  SPEAKER_00: I've said that wrong.
• 7:11
SPEAKER_00: You know what I'm talking about, um, ways.
• 7:14
SPEAKER_00: And so as I'm reading this, I just loved it.
• 7:19
SPEAKER_00: I loved leading reading about the Katrinos because that's exactly what mediumship is.
• 7:24
SPEAKER_00: It's not about fear, it's about joy and celebration and reuniting of us to our ancestors, us connecting to the other side.
• 7:36
SPEAKER_00: It's not about grief, it's not about like spookiness or scary, it's it's a joyful remembrance.
• 7:43
SPEAKER_00: And La Katrina was the perfect example of why we, as a mediumship group of 25 amazing, amazing women showed up in Puerto Vallarta to Mexico on this incredible holiday.
• 7:58
SPEAKER_00: And so reading about the Katrinas spirit was right, the travel agent was right, it would give me so much just connection and inspiration for the holiday.
• 8:08
SPEAKER_00: And I knew I had to learn more.
• 8:11
SPEAKER_00: So I continued to Google and I know what I know.
• 8:13
SPEAKER_00: Like I have kids, I don't, you know, I'm not, I'm not Mexican, despite what I told everybody as a child.
• 8:19
SPEAKER_00: Um so I did have to go and Google the authentic celebration of Dio de los Mortos because I know what I know through Coco and maybe some movies and media, but I haven't actually gone and researched the holiday myself.
• 8:32
SPEAKER_00: And so when I started researching, I saw a lot of amazing things, a lot of nuggets of gold.
• 8:37
SPEAKER_00: I wanted to make sure I was representing the holiday as best I could being a participant in the motherlands of this amazing holiday.
• 8:46
SPEAKER_00: And so then I got to the altar, the offrenda.
• 8:53
SPEAKER_00: And there in my little Google window was the incredible information about the symbolism of the offrenda.
• 9:05
SPEAKER_00: Now, there are symbols for all of the different objects on the offrenda, and I think it's really important to mention that because they have um the of itself is really based on, for lack of a better word, shamanic practices, it's based on the elements.
• 9:21
SPEAKER_00: It's based on, you know, the connection to Mother Earth because you have the fire with the candles, you have the water, people put glasses of water, honestly, bottles of tequila out there on the altars.
• 9:31
SPEAKER_00: You have the beautiful paper, I don't know what to call them, paper banners, um, which represent the air, right?
• 9:38
SPEAKER_00: And you have the food that is shared on the altar that represents the earth.
• 9:42
SPEAKER_00: So it's this connection of us to all of the elements of Mother Earth.
• 9:46
SPEAKER_00: They have favorite foods that again you put on the altar.
• 9:48
SPEAKER_00: You have pictures, you have the sugar candy skull, the skull um uh ceramics that might have a name on them for the people.
• 9:58
SPEAKER_00: You might have a, you know, a picture with words or a story, um, and you're gonna have crosses and all these amazing things on there.
• 10:09
SPEAKER_00: But as I kept going deeper and deeper into the symbols of the offrenda, somewhere I read, and I don't reading it on Google versus being in Mexico and seeing it in person, it was a little different because what I read, I don't think is necessarily attributed to the holiday too much.
• 10:27
SPEAKER_00: But I discovered that this traditional three-tier altar setup that this is what I read.
• 10:33
SPEAKER_00: Sorry, anyone that's Mexican or Mexican descent that I'm butchering this, apologies.
• 10:39
SPEAKER_00: Um so traditionally, they it mentioned that the altar was set up in three tiers.
• 10:45
SPEAKER_00: Now, being in person, I know that's not necessarily true.
• 10:48
SPEAKER_00: I saw many different tiers.
• 10:50
SPEAKER_00: I was counting them as I was walking all through Mexico.
• 10:52
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I was counting them.
• 10:53
SPEAKER_00: So I know that this isn't necessarily a rule of thumb by any means, but essentially what I Googled was the meaning of the tiers of the altar.
• 11:01
SPEAKER_00: And based on what I had read, there were three different tiers of the altar or three different ways.
• 11:06
SPEAKER_00: So along with the elements and the connection to Mother Earth or Pachamama or Gaia or what have you, each of the levels also represents different levels of connection.
• 11:16
SPEAKER_00: So the lower level, the bottom level of the ofrenda, is meant to symbolize the underworld in the shamanic, which is the subconscious, which is the ancestral lineage, the past, right?
• 11:28
SPEAKER_00: Um, the middle layer is supposed to represent the conscious, the physical, the human, the earth, right?
• 11:35
SPEAKER_00: Our lived experience here on planet Earth.
• 11:38
SPEAKER_00: And then the upper level on the ofrenda is meant to symbolize heaven, um, connection to the spirit world, the other side, the upper world, if you're talking in shamanic terms.
• 11:48
SPEAKER_00: And so there it freaking was on Google, the immediate connection to what I was trying to find a connection to the entire time for this presentation, because this lovely retreat leader took the title that I put everywhere, comes to bite in the ass, apparently, of Akashic and Shamanic Mediumship.
• 12:12
SPEAKER_00: And she said I was going to do akashic and shamanic mediumship on this retreat.
• 12:15
SPEAKER_00: And I was like, I don't know how the fuck I'm gonna do that because it's three different modalities, but okay, I can do that on a mediumship retreat.
• 12:20
SPEAKER_00: And there it fucking was.
• 12:22
SPEAKER_00: Spirit handed it to me on a literal altar, the connection between the different levels of the ofrenda, the lower level, the shamanic, the middle level, the mediumship, and the upper level, the akashic.
• 12:37
SPEAKER_00: And so the ofrenda mirrors exactly what I was trying to present.
• 12:42
SPEAKER_00: Exactly what I wanted to share.
• 12:45
SPEAKER_00: And not only that, but had a direct connection to the holiday, the Dia de los Muertos, and honoring it in the true way that it needs to be honored here in the physical world.
• 13:00
SPEAKER_00: It was probably top three biggest holy shit moments that I've ever had in the spiritual work.
• 13:08
SPEAKER_00: Like I'm talking tears running down my face.
• 13:11
  SPEAKER_00: I'm talking holy shit.
• 13:12
  SPEAKER_00: I had no idea.
• 13:14
  SPEAKER_00: I had no idea.
• 13:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, of course, Akashic and Shamanic Mediumship at a mediumship retreat.
• 13:23
  SPEAKER_00: Like, that's a fucking mouthful.
• 13:24
SPEAKER_00: So I did ask, sorry, I'm I'm off my rocker today with the swears, everybody.
• 13:29
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I so I did tell the team, I can't name it that.
• 13:34
SPEAKER_00: Like, I know that's what the title is.
• 13:36
  SPEAKER_00: I can't name it that.
• 13:36
SPEAKER_00: What do you want me to name it?
• 13:37
SPEAKER_00: And they said ancestral mediumship.
• 13:39
SPEAKER_00: And I said, freaking perfect.
• 13:40
  SPEAKER_00: That's amazing.
• 13:41
SPEAKER_00: And so from that moment on, once I knew what I was teaching, like the floodgates open.
• 13:48
SPEAKER_00: I drafted up the course.
• 13:50
SPEAKER_00: I ran it by my medium ship mastermind women to give it a trial run because I always love to do that.
• 13:56
SPEAKER_00: Um, got some amazing feedback and and information from that group, right?
• 14:01
SPEAKER_00: And so this was two days before the retreat.
• 14:05
SPEAKER_00: So I packed my bags, dropped the kids off at the in-laws, dropped the dog off, grab the husband, head to the airport at 2 a.m.
• 14:13
SPEAKER_00: on Saturday morning on Dia de los Muertos, like the the day after Halloween.
• 14:18
SPEAKER_00: We fly down to Mexico.
• 14:19
SPEAKER_00: Thank God it was before the TSA debacle.
• 14:23
SPEAKER_00: Um, and we get there.
• 14:25
SPEAKER_00: And when I check in, I go to check into the hotel.
• 14:33
SPEAKER_00: Waiting for me is a bag of crystals.
• 14:36
SPEAKER_00: So let me rewind here for a second.
• 14:38
SPEAKER_00: You weren't expecting me to say bag of crystals at the check-in, did you?
• 14:41
SPEAKER_00: Those of you at the retreat did.
• 14:43
SPEAKER_00: Everyone else, you had no idea.
• 14:45
SPEAKER_00: Because this is part of the magic of spirit.
• 14:49
SPEAKER_00: When I checked in with this bag of crystals, this bag of crystals came from the amazing, my ride or die, most amazing woman ever, owner of a crystal mine in Westboro, Massachusetts.
• 15:03
SPEAKER_00: This is the store that I do a lot of live events at.
• 15:06
SPEAKER_00: She is an amazing human.
• 15:07
SPEAKER_00: And we found out through the grapevine after not talking for several months in a row that we were going to be in Puerto Vallarta pretty much at the same time.
• 15:14
SPEAKER_00: She beat me by two days.
• 15:16
SPEAKER_00: So our paths did not cross, but we were in the same location in Mexico within two days of each other, completely unexpectedly, because I had booked this a year in advance.
• 15:27
  SPEAKER_00: She had no idea.
• 15:28
SPEAKER_00: Her husband had booked this cruise.
• 15:32
  SPEAKER_00: I had no idea.
• 15:34
SPEAKER_00: And so when we went to go meet for lunch, we found out, or we went to schedule lunch, we found out that each of us were going to be in the same vicinity in such a close period of time.
• 15:42
SPEAKER_00: She thought it was freaking wild.
• 15:44
SPEAKER_00: So what she decided to do was bring crystals on her cruise.
• 15:51
SPEAKER_00: If you haven't checked out her social media, you need to, by the way.
• 15:55
SPEAKER_00: She's now starting this like crystal campaign where she is taking little packets of crystals for free and dropping them in all the locations that she goes to.
• 16:06
SPEAKER_00: So she took bags of crystals with her on this cruise and dropped them all along the Pacific Coast in San Diego and Baja and Cabo and Port of Ayarta.
• 16:17
SPEAKER_00: And all because she found out that I was, I'm, I digress.
• 16:21
  SPEAKER_00: Anyway.
• 16:23
SPEAKER_00: So she finds out we're there.
• 16:25
  SPEAKER_00: Her cruise stop lands.
• 16:26
SPEAKER_00: She drops off the crystals at my hotel because she doesn't think she has time to go drop them off in town and hide all the crystals.
• 16:33
SPEAKER_00: So she's like, Can you can you do it?
• 16:35
SPEAKER_00: So I did not expect a bag of crystals to be waiting for me when I arrived at this hotel from my favorite person from my favorite shop.
• 16:44
SPEAKER_00: And they're the most magical crystals ever.
• 16:46
SPEAKER_00: Um, and I'm like, this is so fucking weird.
• 16:51
SPEAKER_00: What, like, what, why, why, how?
• 16:53
  SPEAKER_00: Okay, cool.
• 16:54
SPEAKER_00: I'll help you out, Jamie.
• 16:55
  SPEAKER_00: I got you.
• 16:56
SPEAKER_00: So I just went with it, took the crystals up, and she it was amazing.
• 17:00
  SPEAKER_00: It was so amazing.
• 17:01
SPEAKER_00: Um, scooting to the next day, after I've gotten my, you know, my my lovely, what did I get that night?
• 17:12
SPEAKER_00: After meeting all the women that arrived, sorry.
• 17:14
SPEAKER_00: I see I'm I'm already thinking about the food, everybody.
• 17:16
SPEAKER_00: I'm like, what did I eat that night?
• 17:18
SPEAKER_00: I definitely had chicken mole that night with more chips and guac than um I will ever admit to.
• 17:26
SPEAKER_00: I ate it every day.
• 17:27
  SPEAKER_00: It was amazing.
• 17:28
SPEAKER_00: So the next day we start our retreat.
• 17:32
SPEAKER_00: Um, the first woman is talking about her training session.
• 17:36
  SPEAKER_00: So Julie goes first.
• 17:38
SPEAKER_00: She's in the morning, I'm in the afternoon on Diodelos Mortos, which is like a week-long event.
• 17:42
  SPEAKER_00: So it's Diodelus Mortos, it's the last day, it's November 2nd.
• 17:47
  SPEAKER_00: She goes first, right?
• 17:48
  SPEAKER_00: She's teaching a lovely workshop.
• 17:50
  SPEAKER_00: It's amazing.
• 17:51
SPEAKER_00: She's doing some amazing teaching.
• 17:52
SPEAKER_00: We get into this meditation to get ourselves in the power before we do breakout groups to practice what she had taught.
• 17:59
SPEAKER_00: Um, as soon as we entered this guided meditation, I thought I was going to meditate, but no, my guides were in my ear the entire time.
• 18:07
SPEAKER_00: Grab the flowers, bring the deck down.
• 18:09
  SPEAKER_00: I brought a deck with me.
• 18:10
SPEAKER_00: They told me to bring a certain deck with me and bring the crystals down during the break, during the hour break that I have.
• 18:17
  SPEAKER_00: Bring everything downstairs.
• 18:19
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, oh, okay.
• 18:20
SPEAKER_00: So as soon as the workshop's over, I run upstairs to my room.
• 18:24
SPEAKER_00: I grab all the things, stick it in my backpack.
• 18:26
SPEAKER_00: They probably think I'm fucking thieving.
• 18:27
SPEAKER_00: These the giant flowers in my crystal vase.
• 18:30
  SPEAKER_00: It's fine, it's no big deal.
• 18:32
SPEAKER_00: Bring it all down to the conference center.
• 18:34
SPEAKER_00: And as soon as I do, they are saying, set up an altar in the middle of the floor.
• 18:40
  SPEAKER_00: So I do.
• 18:41
SPEAKER_00: So I put the flowers in the middle of the circle of chairs, put the crystals all around it, put the cards in a circle around that.
• 18:49
SPEAKER_00: So I essentially created this shamanic altar in the middle of this stark, kind of cold, not so great energy.
• 19:00
SPEAKER_00: Gotta be honest with you.
• 19:01
  SPEAKER_00: Conference room.
• 19:03
SPEAKER_00: As soon as that altar was set up in the room, the entire energy shifted.
• 19:09
  SPEAKER_00: I can't even describe it.
• 19:11
  SPEAKER_00: It just shifted.
• 19:12
SPEAKER_00: I was like, oh my God, this is exactly what the room needed.
• 19:14
SPEAKER_00: It's what the energy needed.
• 19:15
SPEAKER_00: It's what the physical location wanted us to do.
• 19:24
SPEAKER_00: So as everyone starts walking in from lunch, their bellies full of tacos, because who can blame them, right?
• 19:29
SPEAKER_00: Maybe a couple margaritas too.
• 19:30
  SPEAKER_00: I'm not judging.
• 19:31
  SPEAKER_00: I think that's amazing.
• 19:32
SPEAKER_00: They all get a little giddy.
• 19:34
SPEAKER_00: They all start like making these little side conversations.
• 19:36
  SPEAKER_00: Oh, there's a, ooh, what's that?
• 19:37
  SPEAKER_00: Ooh, on the floor.
• 19:38
SPEAKER_00: You know, you know, you know, you know.
• 19:40
SPEAKER_00: It was really cute watching everybody come in and like their eyes light up with the magic of this little tiny, um, very humble altar in the middle of the room.
• 19:48
SPEAKER_00: And they all sit down and they're chatting a little bit.
• 19:52
SPEAKER_00: And, you know, everyone's a little late from lunch, always happens.
• 19:54
SPEAKER_00: So I'm starting to talk to everybody.
• 19:56
SPEAKER_00: And mind you, in my head, I still don't know what this two hours is gonna look like.
• 20:06
SPEAKER_00: Because I know I'm gonna teach ancestral mediumship.
• 20:10
SPEAKER_00: However, I can do that in 10 minutes.
• 20:13
  SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm not joking, 10 minutes.
• 20:15
  SPEAKER_00: It's not complex, it's not hard.
• 20:17
  SPEAKER_00: 10 minutes.
• 20:18
SPEAKER_00: What the heck am I gonna do for the rest of the hour in 50 minutes I have left?
• 20:23
SPEAKER_00: Um so I'm literally sitting in front of the room telling everybody, I'm I probably need to learn to not do this, be being fully transparent, being like, I don't, I don't know, how I don't know.
• 20:36
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
• 20:36
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna do ancestral mediumship.
• 20:38
  SPEAKER_00: I don't know what we're doing.
• 20:38
SPEAKER_00: I know we're doing a guided something, um, but I'm really gonna channel this entire session from my guides.
• 20:44
SPEAKER_00: And they were like, oh, that's oh, and I was like, Yeah, I don't, I'm okay, great.
• 20:49
  SPEAKER_00: I will do that.
• 20:51
SPEAKER_00: So we start the session and my team immediately turns up the energy on me full blast.
• 20:59
SPEAKER_00: Now, when I say full blast, I couldn't stand up.
• 21:02
SPEAKER_00: I knew that if I stood up, I would be falling over.
• 21:06
SPEAKER_00: That is how much energy they blasted me with when I started this session, started my my um ancestral mediumship two hour stint.
• 21:16
SPEAKER_00: Um, so I start going into, and my brain is fully engaged at this point.
• 21:21
SPEAKER_00: So I start going into, hey everybody, I'm Nicole.
• 21:24
  SPEAKER_00: Here's my history.
• 21:24
SPEAKER_00: We're gonna do ancestral mediumship today.
• 21:26
SPEAKER_00: And I start walking them through what I just walked you through, like how I found about out about the offerenda, what it means, how we're gonna do ancestral mediumship.
• 21:34
SPEAKER_00: So the first 15, 20 minutes, there were a couple questions, was essentially me giving the information on what this is and what ancestral mediumship is and how we're gonna do it today.
• 21:46
SPEAKER_00: So my human part has been checked off the list.
• 21:50
SPEAKER_00: I know I've talked about the things that I knew I was gonna talk about and that I was prepared to talk about.
• 21:55
SPEAKER_00: And then as soon as that was over, Spirit literally freaking kicked my brain to the side.
• 22:01
SPEAKER_00: And they're like, we got it now.
• 22:04
SPEAKER_00: And they're like, we're gonna give you an activation for everybody.
• 22:08
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, okay, so the words are literally coming out of my mouth in the middle of this session where I'm like, okay, so Spirit is going to give us an energy activation from the land as well as a frequency upgrade for whatever your next best intention vibration is that is ready to be come in, and that is ready to come in.
• 22:26
SPEAKER_00: So think of it as an energetic upgrade that your team is bringing in for you today that you are ready for and you haven't asked for yet.
• 22:34
SPEAKER_00: So I go into a 20 to 30 minute activation session that I fully channeled.
• 22:43
SPEAKER_00: And I don't remember much of it, to be completely honest with you.
• 22:47
SPEAKER_00: I remember that we did the integrated, we cleared out energy, we pulled in the energy from the earth, we blessed everybody with a gift of energy from the earth and an activation from the earth.
• 22:58
SPEAKER_00: I gave time for people to receive messages for the earth, and it was so wild because I remember, see, I don't remember what I said, but I remember the energy coming through like I was a witness in what I was relaying to everybody because I could feel who was receiving this energy and who was resisting this energy.
• 23:18
SPEAKER_00: And I didn't say anything, my team said it through me in saying those of you who are feeling it a little sticky in your chest, like open up your heart space, open up your throat space, receive it, take a deep breath.
• 23:31
SPEAKER_00: So I so I could feel um inherently the energies of the room and where they were flowing and where they were stagnant.
• 23:40
SPEAKER_00: And I don't think it was me.
• 23:41
SPEAKER_00: I think my team was showing me the balance of energy in the room, if that makes sense.
• 23:48
SPEAKER_00: I don't even know how to describe it because it was all happening at once.
• 23:51
SPEAKER_00: So like I could feel the different vibrations that were okay.
• 23:54
SPEAKER_00: I could feel the different vibrations that were sticky, I could feel.
• 23:57
SPEAKER_00: I don't think anyone was checked out, but I think if they were, I could have felt that too.
• 24:01
SPEAKER_00: Um and so we did this energy activation, we did this frequency download for them from their guides going into the Akashic Records.
• 24:13
  SPEAKER_00: I don't remember what I said.
• 24:15
SPEAKER_00: It was fucking epic, though.
• 24:16
  SPEAKER_00: Can I say that?
• 24:17
  SPEAKER_00: It was fucking epic.
• 24:18
SPEAKER_00: And I I only know it was epic because when I was done, and my eyes were shut the whole time, I was definitely in like trance channeling mode.
• 24:28
SPEAKER_00: When I opened my eyes and I after, I asked everybody else to open their eyes.
• 24:35
SPEAKER_00: I saw people wiping tears.
• 24:37
  SPEAKER_00: I was wiping tears.
• 24:42
SPEAKER_00: And I saw people sigh and take deep breaths.
• 24:47
SPEAKER_00: And I gotta be honest with you, it's like working with me.
• 24:50
SPEAKER_00: It's like a slap across the face.
• 24:51
SPEAKER_00: A lot of them look like deer and headlights.
• 24:53
SPEAKER_00: Like, holy shit, what just fucking happened?
• 24:55
SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, well, uh, welcome to working with me, everybody.
• 24:58
SPEAKER_00: This is what it's like to work with me.
• 25:00
SPEAKER_00: I go bigger or we go home.
• 25:02
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so after everybody took a moment to just calm back from this energetic upgrade activation, I don't even still don't know what I'm calling it.
• 25:14
SPEAKER_00: Everybody said, sorry, spirit said, when I say everybody, it's my team.
• 25:19
SPEAKER_00: My spirit told everybody to grab a crystal and grab a card.
• 25:26
SPEAKER_00: Take the crystal home that's yours to keep.
• 25:28
SPEAKER_00: It has been infused with the energy of the land.
• 25:31
SPEAKER_00: It is your gift from the land and lovely Jamie at the crystal mine.
• 25:38
SPEAKER_00: And the card is a message for you from your team through this activation.
• 25:44
SPEAKER_00: So I hand the book around for the cards.
• 25:48
SPEAKER_00: A lot of people are sharing these amazing, amazing synchronicities that you couldn't make this shit up if you tried.
• 25:58
SPEAKER_00: Because I had one woman who broke her foot in the airport, we know now.
• 26:05
SPEAKER_00: We didn't know it at the time, but the pain in her foot completely disappeared when it had been throbbing nonstop for two days before the session.
• 26:17
SPEAKER_00: So her foot pain, her broken foot, stops being in pain.
• 26:22
SPEAKER_00: We had several participants that were in close, they were kind of seated next to each other, close physical proximity in the room, that all saw similar visions of eyes while we were in the Akashic Records.
• 26:36
SPEAKER_00: And then there was another woman who earlier in the day, she brought this cute little paint set that you see on the social media accounts right now, where it's like this little pocket with these little watercolors, and Spirit told her to sit by the pool and paint this morning.
• 26:51
  SPEAKER_00: So she painted.
• 26:53
SPEAKER_00: And her card, the colors of the card she picked out almost precisely matched the watercolor painting she had done earlier in the day.
• 27:05
SPEAKER_00: Like, and she even wrote down symbols which she saw on the card.
• 27:09
  SPEAKER_00: Like it was wild.
• 27:10
  SPEAKER_00: It was freaking wild.
• 27:11
SPEAKER_00: You couldn't make this shit up if you tried.
• 27:14
SPEAKER_00: And so I knew when, when, see, they're giving me the download right now.
• 27:20
SPEAKER_00: So I knew, but I'm saying this in the present tense.
• 27:24
SPEAKER_00: Now that now that I'm processing this live with all of you, I knew in that moment.
• 27:29
SPEAKER_00: Now that I know, God, can I can I say that any more backwards?
• 27:33
SPEAKER_00: Can I just rewind for a second and say that differently?
• 27:36
SPEAKER_00: I hope you don't mind my garbled mess all the time.
• 27:41
SPEAKER_00: Looking back at that moment, my team is informing me I needed to be there to help everybody receive the activations and gifts from the land.
• 27:50
SPEAKER_00: Because I wasn't there to just teach ancestral mediumship.
• 27:52
SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that was fucking cool.
• 27:54
  SPEAKER_00: I loved it.
• 27:54
SPEAKER_00: But I was there to make sure that these individuals knew that the universe had their back.
• 28:04
SPEAKER_00: That Mother Earth, Pachamama, Gaia, they want, she wants us here.
• 28:12
SPEAKER_00: We are anchors and lightning rods in Mother Earth that are here to raise the vibration and frequency.
• 28:20
SPEAKER_00: So it's like spirit showing me in my head right now.
• 28:24
SPEAKER_00: That activation lit up the grid in that area that needed to be lit up.
• 28:34
SPEAKER_00: That makes sense because all week before I arrived there, I was channeling the spirit of the land, which by the way is called the Sierra Madres.
• 28:43
SPEAKER_00: Sierra Madres, the mother, it's the mother range.
• 28:50
SPEAKER_00: It's not like Sierra Nevada.
• 28:52
SPEAKER_00: No, it's Sierra Madres, the mother mountains down there.
• 28:55
SPEAKER_00: Um, I was channeling that energy all week saying, and she continuously was telling me everyone that's been that is coming to the retreat has lived in incarnation in Mexico.
• 29:05
SPEAKER_00: She was telling me that we are all welcome there, that she is happy that we're here, we will be divinely protected there, um, that she has been waiting a long time for us to go there.
• 29:13
SPEAKER_00: Like it was wild, this shit that I channeled before.
• 29:16
SPEAKER_00: These are the things I don't tell everybody because doesn't that sound crazy?
• 29:20
SPEAKER_00: It does, it does, it does, it does.
• 29:22
SPEAKER_00: Um, but the more that I do this work, the more I realize it's just so far out there.
• 29:27
SPEAKER_00: This stuff, like we don't even know that how much we don't know.
• 29:31
SPEAKER_00: We only know what we know, and we are a drop in the ocean compared to what we think is possible here in the physical world.
• 29:42
SPEAKER_00: So that was pretty, pretty fucking rad.
• 29:45
SPEAKER_00: After everyone picked their cards, many of which resonated, they were all kind of sent off in their breakout groups to go practice ancestral mediumship.
• 29:55
SPEAKER_00: And some of the messages that people got were absurd and amazing and things they'd never.
• 30:00
  SPEAKER_00: Thought about before.
• 30:02
SPEAKER_00: One woman had mentioned, and part of this was receiving messages from am I, am I boring you?
• 30:08
  SPEAKER_00: No, I'm not.
• 30:09
SPEAKER_00: I feel like I'm getting you all to sign on for retreats with me in the future.
• 30:15
SPEAKER_00: Some of the messages that we got were related to your ancestral lineage.
• 30:20
SPEAKER_00: What what um subconscious ties or things from your family line are holding you back?
• 30:27
SPEAKER_00: And then also from an Akashic's um, sorry, that was the shamanic.
• 30:33
SPEAKER_00: From the mediumship level, what ancestors are you similar to, are ready for to work with you, or have strengths that they're willing to share with you?
• 30:45
SPEAKER_00: And then also the last one was what was the sole reason that you chose this family, this family line?
• 30:55
SPEAKER_00: What were the benefits of this family line?
• 30:57
SPEAKER_00: And also, if you wanted to get into it, what are the past lives that you've had with some of your family members?
• 31:01
SPEAKER_00: So I kind of left this open for everybody to just take what they wanted to do.
• 31:05
SPEAKER_00: If they wanted to do past lives, set the intention.
• 31:07
SPEAKER_00: If they wanted to uncover family lineage stuff that's ready to be re-released, go through there.
• 31:12
SPEAKER_00: Um, if they want to meet family ancestors, go through there.
• 31:15
SPEAKER_00: And I think it allowed that perfect balance of like do what you want, right?
• 31:19
SPEAKER_00: Do do what you're excited about, stretch yourself a little bit.
• 31:23
SPEAKER_00: Um, but all of this stuff is accessible through mediumship because you're setting the intention.
• 31:28
SPEAKER_00: Is it the best modality for all this stuff?
• 31:30
SPEAKER_00: Uh I could be argued.
• 31:32
SPEAKER_00: I could argue that one.
• 31:33
SPEAKER_00: Uh, yay, both ways, yes and no.
• 31:36
SPEAKER_00: But either way, I think it allows people to realize that mediumship is an avenue to uncover soul-level stuff, to uncover subconscious ancestral level things.
• 31:47
SPEAKER_00: And some of the messages, just to brag, humble brag about the students and the attendees there, um, there were some amazing, they were some amazing messages, right?
• 31:57
SPEAKER_00: There were some amazing findings, like um someone being an entrepreneur in the family, right?
• 32:02
SPEAKER_00: And and realizing that, yeah, like the family is a history of entrepreneurs and and this woman's like ready to open up her own business, right?
• 32:09
SPEAKER_00: Um, some of the other messages were that, you know, she was um, I'm asking spirit in my head, is it okay to share?
• 32:17
SPEAKER_00: And she's saying yes because I'm keeping it anonymous.
• 32:20
SPEAKER_00: Um good to go, they said.
• 32:24
SPEAKER_00: Um, that it was someone ended up having two boys and no girls because that generation is is a healing and reset time before more girls will come into the family.
• 32:38
SPEAKER_00: So essentially, like rewriting the the mother wound, the the female narrative and the lineage of the family was the gift of having two sons and no no daughters.
• 32:49
SPEAKER_00: And so it's just really interesting.
• 32:51
SPEAKER_00: Like, like, like messages like that, could you get that anywhere else?
• 32:54
  SPEAKER_00: I don't think so.
• 32:55
SPEAKER_00: Could you get that in therapy?
• 32:56
  SPEAKER_00: No, I don't think so.
• 32:57
SPEAKER_00: And I think therapy has its place, not knocking it.
• 32:59
SPEAKER_00: Um, but stuff like that is just like, wow, boom, right?
• 33:03
SPEAKER_00: And so the messages that people received were so freaking powerful and allowed people to expand and stretch in so many different ways that I never thought was possible walking into this week.
• 33:18
SPEAKER_00: Um, and so just kind of reflecting back on this idea of trust because when the room finally emptied, once once we were done and everybody walked out of there like they've been slapped across the face about 10 times by me.
• 33:32
  SPEAKER_00: I'm so sorry, everybody.
• 33:34
SPEAKER_00: Um, impactful, but I will leave you reeling.
• 33:37
SPEAKER_00: I am so sorry about that.
• 33:39
SPEAKER_00: Don't come to me for the easy stuff, come to me for the stuff that is deep and wounded and you need healing on.
• 33:44
  SPEAKER_00: I got you.
• 33:45
  SPEAKER_00: I fucking got you.
• 33:47
SPEAKER_00: Um, but as everybody left, I was like, good job, team.
• 33:57
  SPEAKER_00: We did it, right?
• 33:59
SPEAKER_00: But I honestly I was laughing a little bit because of course Spirit had it handled.
• 34:06
SPEAKER_00: They literally orchestrated this entire fucking two-hour session like a year in advance, right?
• 34:15
SPEAKER_00: Like the fact that I got there, the fact that I was invited to this event, the fact that Jamie had dropped off the crystals that I ended up infusing with the energy of Mother Earth and giving to all the participants there, right?
• 34:28
SPEAKER_00: Little bit of a gift for everybody, a literal and an energetic gift for everybody.
• 34:33
SPEAKER_00: The fact that they helped me with um channeling the information.
• 34:37
SPEAKER_00: Did you know that I have been learning channeling for like three weeks before?
• 34:40
SPEAKER_00: I knew how to channel, but I needed a little bit nuance.
• 34:43
SPEAKER_00: So they had me listen to channeling books and practice channeling weeks before this session, right?
• 34:48
SPEAKER_00: Um, the fact that they gave me downloads in the morning, the fact that like they told me which tarot cards to bring before the session, um, the the download of the altar information days before, all of this shit was planned by my invisible team.
• 35:06
SPEAKER_00: And I'll tell you what, if it were me and I didn't trust my team like I haven't for several years, right?
• 35:15
SPEAKER_00: Like I historically have a hard time with trust with my spiritual team.
• 35:18
SPEAKER_00: I gotta be honest with you.
• 35:20
SPEAKER_00: Old me would have planned the shit out of this.
• 35:24
SPEAKER_00: I would have had a spreadsheet, I would have researched over and over and over again, tested over and over and over again.
• 35:31
SPEAKER_00: New me let spirit lead me to the altar.
• 35:35
SPEAKER_00: And I think that is the major difference between control and collaboration because spirit just needs us to surrender.
• 35:45
SPEAKER_00: They don't ask us because they want to control the situation.
• 35:49
SPEAKER_00: They ask us to let go so we can finally let them lead and show us and teach us what alignment actually looks like.
• 35:58
SPEAKER_00: And here's the thing that is so hard about trust.
• 36:01
SPEAKER_00: It's not passive, it's active, it's anxious, it's um difficult, it's trying, it's letting go of old patterns and beliefs in your energy and in your neural systems, frankly.
• 36:19
SPEAKER_00: And dealing with the anxiety and anxiousness while at the same time saying, I don't know what's next, but I'm gonna trust it.
• 36:28
SPEAKER_00: And when you show up that way, at least in my terms, in my experience, spirit shows off.
• 36:41
SPEAKER_00: And I am so grateful that I did.
• 36:44
SPEAKER_00: I'm so grateful that I had I had learned that lesson, that slap across the face from my team over and over and over again.
• 36:52
SPEAKER_00: Because I knew if I just let go and released and surrendered and said, I trust of what they're gonna give.
• 37:00
SPEAKER_00: I and I also trust myself that if I don't think it's good enough, I'm gonna take over and I'll be able to figure this out.
• 37:06
  SPEAKER_00: No fucking problem.
• 37:08
SPEAKER_00: But also I trust that my team's gonna show up with something that is a home run out of the park.
• 37:12
SPEAKER_00: No one else could have done that session because it was so authentic and aligned to me and my energy.
• 37:20
SPEAKER_00: I could not have Googled that.
• 37:23
SPEAKER_00: I I could not have found somebody else that did it the way that I did it.
• 37:30
SPEAKER_00: Spirit is the ultimate freaking teacher, man.
• 37:33
SPEAKER_00: Like they're the ultimate teacher.
• 37:38
SPEAKER_00: I could not have planned this entire trip if I had tried.
• 37:44
SPEAKER_00: This is the type of week, the type of trip, the type of workshop.
• 37:48
SPEAKER_00: By the way, the rest of the week was absolutely fucking magical.
• 37:50
SPEAKER_00: Oh my god, Julie and her retreats.
• 37:52
SPEAKER_00: God, I gotta get them more on those.
• 37:54
SPEAKER_00: Um, and and booked my own, frankly, to be honest with you, because it was so life-changing and integral and integrating in community and connections and networking.
• 38:09
SPEAKER_00: And it was the perfect escape at the perfect time, and it gave me exactly what I needed to hit the ground running and know that I am meant for big fucking change in this world.
• 38:29
SPEAKER_00: And that's what I trust because if spirit can show up for me in that way, I know there's nothing that they wouldn't do for me and nothing that they couldn't move or help me accomplish so long as I continue to surrender and trust.
• 38:51
SPEAKER_00: And so I would love, I would love to continue this conversation on Wednesday where I want to talk about how does this trust thing actually work, right?
• 39:08
SPEAKER_00: Because it's one thing for me to talk about this entire story and all these different pieces that hopefully you followed.
• 39:14
  SPEAKER_00: Maybe you didn't, that's okay too.
• 39:16
SPEAKER_00: Um and talk about what the frequency of trust actually looks like.
• 39:20
SPEAKER_00: What does it actually look like in your energy so that you learn to let go?
• 39:25
SPEAKER_00: Because I think this is ironic.
• 39:27
SPEAKER_00: When you learn the frequency and the energetics behind trust, I think it makes it easier to trust.
• 39:31
SPEAKER_00: So I wanted to talk about that on Wednesday.
• 39:34
SPEAKER_00: I want to give you a couple of experiments for you to try with your own team.
• 39:39
SPEAKER_00: And damn, I want to know your moments too.
• 39:43
  SPEAKER_00: Like I do, I genuinely do.
• 39:45
SPEAKER_00: I am loving, absolutely loving all of the messages that I've been hearing from all of you on Instagram comments, messages.
• 39:55
SPEAKER_00: Um, my community out there on Heartbeats a little quiet right now.
• 39:59
  SPEAKER_00: That's fine.
• 39:59
  SPEAKER_00: We'll get it going.
• 40:00
  SPEAKER_00: We'll get it going.
• 40:01
SPEAKER_00: But I would love to hear your stories of I couldn't have planned that if I tried, or you can't make this shit up, those moments.
• 40:10
