- 1:54Speaker 2: No good, no bad, not bad man. Wait to buy a.
- 1:56Speaker 1: Week exactly, chilled arkansall offs. We suck, Casey is not
- 2:01Speaker 1: here today, Jets suck. What a game that was? I mean,
- 2:06Speaker 1: I didn't watch anything. Aaron Rodgers presser after because I
- 2:08Speaker 1: fell asleep. He say anything, he who do? He blamed
- 2:10Speaker 1: this time earth.
- 2:12Speaker 3: He didn't get DeVante Fastinus.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Oh my god, is that what he said?
- 2:15Speaker 3: No, I'm just kidding.
- 2:16Speaker 1: They still have a favorable schedule, but man, they're seasonless.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's terrible. That's done. I don't think it's done. Pull
- 2:24Speaker 1: up a schedule because we'll go over in just a second.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I do not think it's done. But I'm glad everybody's here.
- 2:28Speaker 1: We got a lot to talk about. I have a
- 2:29Speaker 1: new list of favorite teams in college football.
- 2:32Speaker 2: Oh thank you.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's still Arkansas number one by far, will always be.
- 2:36Speaker 1: But LSU just showed up and outclassed us. They did.
- 2:42Speaker 1: We threw a bad interception, but it wasn't even interception.
- 2:45Speaker 1: He threw the past. It got blocked, and then they
- 2:48Speaker 1: got caught it and ran it in and it was over.
- 2:50Speaker 1: They out their quarterback hobbled the victory. I was really
- 2:54Speaker 1: hoping we could pull it. Was fun being relevant for
- 2:56Speaker 1: a week. Guy, I'm gonna be honest with the other fun.
- 2:57Speaker 1: It really was fun being relevant for a week.
- 3:00Speaker 2: I saw on x Twitter. Nobody calls it that whatever?
- 3:04Speaker 2: H that Uh Pittman was trending and I was like,
- 3:07Speaker 2: oh no, this is on Sunday toom like this is it,
- 3:10Speaker 2: And apparently it wasn't. There was just a bunch of
- 3:11Speaker 2: memes I guess they made about him, but I thought
- 3:13Speaker 2: they fired him. No, the LSU win was enough to
- 3:16Speaker 2: get him through the season.
- 3:19Speaker 3: Tennessee, Tennessee.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Excuse me because the LS yellow? I think yellow, but
- 3:23Speaker 1: LSU had like cool white. You know they have yellow.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'm not thinking of Green Bay. Do they both have
- 3:27Speaker 1: all whites?
- 3:27Speaker 3: Green Bay had all whites. Whites, yes, d right, yeah,
- 3:31Speaker 3: think so too.
- 3:32Speaker 2: They went white Tiger, I think so too.
- 3:34Speaker 1: Pretty cool, cool, so I think. And again this is
- 3:38Speaker 1: not an Arkansas podcast. I think we play Mississippi State.
- 3:41Speaker 1: If we lose that game, it's probably over for him.
- 3:43Speaker 1: But we beat Texas. He has a ten year contract.
- 3:45Speaker 1: It's one of those type I got you, but we
- 3:48Speaker 1: lost and that sucked. So I'd had a great weekend
- 3:51Speaker 1: betting though, Oh yeah, I saw something semmary weekend betting
- 3:55Speaker 1: and I don't even care to jinx it anymore because
- 3:57Speaker 1: I deserve to lose now. It's been so good. I
- 3:59Speaker 1: deserve to lose. Punish me, punish me betting gods because
- 4:01Speaker 1: it's been too good.
- 4:02Speaker 2: Don't do that. They will.
- 4:03Speaker 1: It's great. I deserve it. I deserve every bit of it.
- 4:06Speaker 1: How do we do on nur parlay? Because I don't know.
- 4:07Speaker 1: We all picked a team.
- 4:08Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, what happened?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Okay?
- 4:12Speaker 3: So I picked Miami minus four and a half. They
- 4:14Speaker 3: won by seven.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Boom.
- 4:16Speaker 3: Eddie picked Missouri minus four.
- 4:18Speaker 1: They were down, they come back.
- 4:21Speaker 3: They won by four.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Oh so push was a push? Yeah. Their quarterback goes
- 4:25Speaker 1: to the hospital. He went to the hospital in the
- 4:27Speaker 1: middle of the game, really, and then went and warmed
- 4:28Speaker 1: up in like the practice facility, came back and won
- 4:30Speaker 1: the game. It's crazy.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Yes, I didn't even see that part of it.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Who did I have?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Arkansas plus.
- 4:35Speaker 1: Put them in?
- 4:36Speaker 2: You picked Arkansas.
- 4:37Speaker 1: I don't know. I'm stupid. I hate me. Okay, So
- 4:39Speaker 1: here are my other teams. These are my secondary favorite
- 4:43Speaker 1: teams for the year. Number one Oregon for sure.
- 4:46Speaker 2: We were just there.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Not even that because we can reveal now, we can
- 4:51Speaker 1: only reveal a little bit because it's going to continue.
- 4:55Speaker 1: So what we couldn't reveal until it happened was they
- 4:58Speaker 1: have an entire.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Uh strategy hmm.
- 5:05Speaker 1: They have an entire it's not even a formation, but
- 5:09Speaker 1: like a set. When they hold a card up of
- 5:11Speaker 1: my head on it.
- 5:12Speaker 2: Yeah, because that's not necessarily a.
- 5:14Speaker 1: It's not a play lay. No, it's not a play,
- 5:17Speaker 1: but they have an entire.
- 5:18Speaker 2: It means something.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yes, and we have been told and we told them back.
- 5:23Speaker 1: We will not reveal too much about it because they're
- 5:25Speaker 1: going to continue to use it, but I will post
- 5:27Speaker 1: it on my social media today. For three games they've
- 5:30Speaker 1: been holding up at my head as something a signal
- 5:37Speaker 1: to the offense. And how we know that it is
- 5:40Speaker 1: real and they're not just holding up a dummy sign
- 5:43Speaker 1: is We're like, oh cool, send us to sign back,
- 5:44Speaker 1: get coach to sign will put in the studio and
- 5:47Speaker 1: they We're like, no, we need it because we're using it.
- 5:50Speaker 1: That's incredible, awesome, so cool.
- 5:52Speaker 2: Have you seen it on TV?
- 5:54Speaker 1: I've seen No, not on TV. I haven't. Some listeners
- 5:57Speaker 1: have been at the game and taking pictures from a
- 5:59Speaker 1: far other than holding it out. Coach Landing text me
- 6:01Speaker 1: yesterday and he texted me the video and a picture
- 6:04Speaker 1: in the middle of the game. I didn't watch the game.
- 6:07Speaker 1: It was on Thursday night late this Friday night.
- 6:10Speaker 2: Yeah, Friday night. I know, it feels like Thursday night.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I don't even know A long time ago.
- 6:13Speaker 1: I don't even know. But yeah, they're using my head,
- 6:17Speaker 1: not as a play call, not as a formation communication,
- 6:22Speaker 1: but they are communicating something that's fair. I can say
- 6:25Speaker 1: all that, right. Yeah, so because no team has done that,
- 6:28Speaker 1: not even my own Arkansas team, they ever used my
- 6:30Speaker 1: head to like call something. Oregon is my number one
- 6:33Speaker 1: team nice at my secondaries. My number two favorite team
- 6:37Speaker 1: is Indiana. The coach well, they're red, and I can like,
- 6:42Speaker 1: I can. I like to Arkansas, okay, And I've like
- 6:44Speaker 1: Signetti for I've been telling you guys about him for
- 6:46Speaker 1: weeks and weeks at this point, he's awesome. Googled. He's
- 6:48Speaker 1: like Toby Keith, Google me, and all I do is win.
- 6:50Speaker 1: And they played Nebraska, and now they hadn't played really
- 6:53Speaker 1: any big games up until this week, and so it
- 6:55Speaker 1: was like, oh, they're gonna get drummed. They they won
- 6:59Speaker 1: by fifty.
- 7:00Speaker 2: They've been winning by a lot.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but they haven't played anybody.
- 7:02Speaker 2: I know. But even when other teams don't play anyone,
- 7:05Speaker 2: they don't beat them by that much.
- 7:06Speaker 1: But the big deal was they're finally playing a defense
- 7:08Speaker 1: and cool.
- 7:10Speaker 3: And Nebraska is a good team.
- 7:11Speaker 1: Yeah cool, and they were not a good team this week.
- 7:15Speaker 1: Indiana was awesome and they're red. I like that. I'm
- 7:18Speaker 1: drawing to red things that work because that's my favorite color.
- 7:21Speaker 1: So we got Oregon at one, Indiana two, and at
- 7:23Speaker 1: number three, I got it. Give it Army, Vandy, Oh,
- 7:32Speaker 1: vander built because they got to begin this week, I
- 7:35Speaker 1: believe is this week that Texas.
- 7:37Speaker 2: Yeah Texas in Nash Bill that's finny.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Oh, Mikekid can try to go to that. I'm going Yeah.
- 7:44Speaker 1: So Vandy's my third favorite team of my secondary tier
- 7:47Speaker 1: of teams that I'm looking at and rooting for glad
- 7:50Speaker 1: to see. Let's just say, when they hold that sign
- 7:52Speaker 1: of me at Oregon, it means we're number one, and
- 7:55Speaker 1: they probably wouldn't be number one without that sign, right,
- 7:57Speaker 1: But that's what we couldn't talk about yet. I'm gonna
- 8:00Speaker 1: put up some a picture of it on my Instagram
- 8:04Speaker 1: stuff so you can see it. But it's pretty funny.
- 8:06Speaker 1: And I thought they would send the sign right over
- 8:07Speaker 1: because I figured they were just dummy using it and
- 8:10Speaker 1: Kevin's like, Kevin's like, please don't they've asked you not
- 8:13Speaker 1: talk about what it's used for and wait till the
- 8:16Speaker 1: season's over.
- 8:17Speaker 3: Can you imagine in the national team.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Reche that'd be awesome, that'd be great.
- 8:22Speaker 1: It's pretty cool, pretty cool. Uh yeah, glad everybody's here.
- 8:25Speaker 1: We played pickleball for two and a half hours yesterday.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Are your feet your ankle sore?
- 8:28Speaker 3: My ankles? My feet my like groin?
- 8:31Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot of cut jump, cut jump. But
- 8:34Speaker 1: we played for two and a half hours. So it
- 8:36Speaker 1: was me and Kevin and George Burge and Gator and
- 8:41Speaker 1: it was kind of a couple hours before anything. I
- 8:43Speaker 1: was like, hey, weather, it was awesome. Come over. I
- 8:45Speaker 1: got a pick a ball court. And so they came
- 8:48Speaker 1: over and Kevin got Kevin got pretty good pretty quick,
- 8:51Speaker 1: Like the first time ever was like last week. And
- 8:54Speaker 1: then Kevin like started to be his own player and
- 8:56Speaker 1: like got to be pretty good.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm coming for you, guys. You I'm looking at you.
- 9:01Speaker 2: You don't have to come for me. Man, you'll beat me,
- 9:03Speaker 2: no problem, no problem.
- 9:04Speaker 3: Not there's no part in you that's like, bring it.
- 9:07Speaker 2: I'm not there yet. Like if he's only played once, yeah,
- 9:10Speaker 2: it's only a second time ever no, I know I
- 9:12Speaker 2: played three times.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You said you're not there yet. He's not even to
- 9:15Speaker 1: where you are.
- 9:15Speaker 2: But he's already talking crap and he wants to fight me.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I I'm not ready to fight. No one said fight
- 9:19Speaker 2: well on the court pickle style.
- 9:21Speaker 1: No you're not. You're not touching pickles. Pickle fight. He
- 9:27Speaker 1: wanted to play you.
- 9:29Speaker 2: Yeah, see, I'm not ready to He's not.
- 9:30Speaker 1: He's not a dog because you just like brought up
- 9:32Speaker 1: a little competition. I know he's like, you got no
- 9:36Speaker 1: dog in you.
- 9:37Speaker 2: I got a dog once. I feel like I'm getting better.
- 9:39Speaker 1: You got kiddie.
- 9:40Speaker 2: I beat I beat you playing what three? We went to?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Three? Those games are not games. It's a warm up game.
- 9:45Speaker 2: Whoa buddy? You said let's play.
- 9:48Speaker 1: The three because those are all those are warm ups.
- 9:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and I beat you at that three?
- 9:52Speaker 3: Okay, but you don't feel like you've gotten better at all?
- 9:54Speaker 2: A little bit. But I'm not there yet.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I saw it.
- 9:56Speaker 3: What is there?
- 9:57Speaker 1: Also?
- 9:57Speaker 2: I need to win a game.
- 9:59Speaker 1: You can never count read you tell Eddie you can't
- 10:01Speaker 1: count a three or as a win.
- 10:02Speaker 3: No, No, that's warm up man, You're just trying to You're.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Just trying to warm up by actually running around, and
- 10:07Speaker 1: it's like we're gonna play three years. They never count
- 10:08Speaker 1: as games. If you play a five or it starts
- 10:10Speaker 1: to count as like a game, that would count.
- 10:12Speaker 2: So two more points I could have beat you.
- 10:14Speaker 1: Yeah, because three years are never games. Those are literally
- 10:16Speaker 1: only warm up points.
- 10:17Speaker 2: And you said like, hey, let's play two three, that's
- 10:19Speaker 2: the game. If you said hey, let's play to one,
- 10:23Speaker 2: that's the game.
- 10:25Speaker 1: Okay, going to like seven or eleven is a seven
- 10:28Speaker 1: or elevens? Eleven's like the normal game. A seven is
- 10:30Speaker 1: like a quicker if you have people playing around. Three
- 10:33Speaker 1: is like you could do that just like two double
- 10:34Speaker 1: faulting in the Yeah, yeah, yeah, And that was pretty
- 10:37Speaker 1: much we got no dog in you. Huh No I do.
- 10:39Speaker 2: I'm just like I said, like, I need time to
- 10:41Speaker 2: get better. And then because he's an athlete, I'm not
- 10:43Speaker 2: an athlete. I'm like the dude that was born without
- 10:46Speaker 2: legs and I gotta learn how to walk first, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: then we'll play.
- 10:49Speaker 1: Oh that's you guys making it quite the comparison, the
- 10:52Speaker 1: pretty dramatic. But I was an athlete, but I would Okay,
- 10:56Speaker 1: you don't.
- 10:57Speaker 3: I'll take that.
- 10:57Speaker 1: You don't have the dog in them.
- 10:58Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll take Oh no, they'll put the will be
- 11:00Speaker 2: a time when I played the pickle.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Both of you guys to play the pickle. You won't
- 11:05Speaker 3: beat my pickle.
- 11:06Speaker 1: You won't. You won't beat me like a real game
- 11:08Speaker 1: to eleven. You will never be never never.
- 11:11Speaker 2: See if you said that to me. Never Like I'm ready, like,
- 11:15Speaker 2: i'll play you. You will, okay, you can play. You
- 11:17Speaker 2: will never beat me to eleven. I will beat you
- 11:19Speaker 2: one day. I will beat you to eleven. Dude.
- 11:22Speaker 3: Him and George had an epic game.
- 11:24Speaker 1: Mister George, who knew was austin Texas Westwood Hide uh
- 11:29Speaker 1: four A city champion tennis player.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Of course he was, and he played golf.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Of course he was. They played golf in Texas. He's like,
- 11:35Speaker 1: it was just four A and I'm like, dude, I
- 11:37Speaker 1: went to one A school and I got no. I
- 11:40Speaker 1: had no titles.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Now a guy that comes from California, we don't have
- 11:44Speaker 3: the a's. Is it the higher the better?
- 11:47Speaker 2: Yeah, single is the highest.
- 11:48Speaker 1: And Arkansas five A was the highest you could get to.
- 11:51Speaker 2: Oh right, five A two in Texas.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Yeah, so George was four A champion.
- 11:55Speaker 2: So they're a little smaller school.
- 11:57Speaker 4: That's why it meant like no, no, but big but
- 11:58Speaker 4: still foury's are big yeah, not a one a yeah,
- 12:02Speaker 4: not a two or three A four A is so Yeah,
- 12:05Speaker 4: George is a really good tennis player.
- 12:06Speaker 1: And yeah George George competes, yeah, which I'm we played
- 12:11Speaker 1: golf with him, but he's so much better than us.
- 12:13Speaker 1: He never has to like push and compete. By the way,
- 12:15Speaker 1: George Burge sings a song I got my mind on
- 12:18Speaker 1: you and got you on my.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Mind and then he's got she only listens to cowboys songs.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Whatever it is.
- 12:24Speaker 3: That song is a jam.
- 12:25Speaker 1: It is a jam. But yeah, he George has the
- 12:28Speaker 1: dog in him.
- 12:29Speaker 3: Yeah, he was yelling at me yesterday on the same
- 12:31Speaker 3: team live on the same team yet like rush rush, because.
- 12:34Speaker 1: We played doubles a bunch and then we played some
- 12:36Speaker 1: singles at the end, and I played Kevin in the
- 12:38Speaker 1: first singles match because nobody wanted to play singles, and
- 12:41Speaker 1: Kevin's a got play because Key's had a little dog.
- 12:42Speaker 2: In himyah, because he's an athlete.
- 12:44Speaker 1: And Kevin moved really well. I'm better pick aball player now,
- 12:47Speaker 1: but Kevin's an athlete for sure.
- 12:48Speaker 2: So did anyone beat you yesterday.
- 12:49Speaker 1: No, and then George was like, fine, I'll play. I
- 12:53Speaker 1: was it singles, yeah, and George is like, okay, he's
- 12:56Speaker 1: probably beat down a little bit from that match.
- 12:59Speaker 3: We already played like a half hour of doubles forty
- 13:01Speaker 3: five minutes.
- 13:01Speaker 1: And then then singles and then I beat George like
- 13:04Speaker 1: five to two or five to three, and then Gator
- 13:07Speaker 1: played and I put him away he's old, and then uh,
- 13:11Speaker 1: I play. Then we went back to doubles, went back
- 13:13Speaker 1: to doubles. Yeah, yeah, it's finne wep up for two
- 13:15Speaker 1: and a half hours.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Some of the video and like the way you guys
- 13:18Speaker 2: hit the ball like you and George. That was the video,
- 13:20Speaker 2: right you and George. I mean the way you guys
- 13:21Speaker 2: hit like is next level hitting, Like I just try
- 13:24Speaker 2: to get it over the net. You guys are Wow.
- 13:26Speaker 3: George knows what he's doing, like even when it's offhand,
- 13:28Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Yeah, back like tennis players. Yeah,
- 13:31Speaker 3: they like it just looks smooth and I'm over here like.
- 13:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm just trying to get it over the net.
- 13:35Speaker 1: George's strength is knowing how to like hit backhands with
- 13:39Speaker 1: slice on the ball. Yeah, what's my strength?
- 13:43Speaker 3: No, curve, hard hustle, just hustle, or or placement. You're
- 13:47Speaker 3: good with placement. You are good at places like you
- 13:49Speaker 3: know where you want to go when you go with it,
- 13:50Speaker 3: whether it's my chest or in the back corner.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Oh do I put it my body bag, Kevin one.
- 13:53Speaker 2: I tried a couple of times. I was like, at
- 13:55Speaker 2: this his chest because you've said that, You're like, if
- 13:57Speaker 2: I put around the middle, they don't know what to
- 13:58Speaker 2: do with it.
- 13:58Speaker 1: No, no, I body no, not even that bodybag. You
- 14:00Speaker 1: hit them in the body with the ball really yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 14:03Speaker 1: well you can't. I mean it's a whiffle ball. It
- 14:04Speaker 1: really hurt, but it's like you hit them with it's
- 14:07Speaker 1: it's like the most embarrassing thing and putball. Yeah, a
- 14:09Speaker 1: couple of things. There's people in the comments. I posted
- 14:11Speaker 1: a video. One is a little experiment because it's not
- 14:13Speaker 1: like the video was just Kevin shooting it with my phone.
- 14:16Speaker 1: And sometimes ILL post content. I'm like, this is really
- 14:18Speaker 1: good content. It gets like eighty thousand views, and sometimes
- 14:21Speaker 1: I post up garbage and it gets like five hundred thousand, right,
- 14:23Speaker 1: and so was only Happenson pick a wall video just
- 14:25Speaker 1: shot from my phone.
- 14:27Speaker 2: It was going crazy really the one that you send
- 14:30Speaker 2: me yeah wow, yeah, I mean, do you guys look impressed?
- 14:32Speaker 1: You know, that's not why. It's just Instagram just takes
- 14:36Speaker 1: certain things and just runs with it. And so I'm
- 14:39Speaker 1: just gonna start posting crap up there now.
- 14:41Speaker 2: No, but then it won't work. It's when you really
- 14:43Speaker 2: don't expect it.
- 14:45Speaker 1: It doesn't know what I expect. The universe is like
- 14:47Speaker 1: Instagram does not know what I expect. I know you
- 14:49Speaker 1: think that, you know they're smarter than you think. Man,
- 14:52Speaker 1: there are listeners in the comments that are like, you
- 14:54Speaker 1: should move your foot here, you should do this, you
- 14:56Speaker 1: could shut up. Yeah, I will be. I will bet
- 14:58Speaker 1: a thousand bucks against anybody in my car, not not
- 15:00Speaker 1: from this moment on, anybody that's pre that's been like
- 15:05Speaker 1: gout your old boat. I'll bet a thousand bucks. I'll
- 15:08Speaker 1: beat you. You put the money up to though it
- 15:10Speaker 1: doesn't count after work is somebody smart better than me
- 15:12Speaker 1: will hear this and go put a comment. But if
- 15:15Speaker 1: it's prior to this and you want to play and
- 15:17Speaker 1: put your own money up, I'm happy to. Because you
- 15:18Speaker 1: guys are idiots. It's like when you post anything with golf, like, oh,
- 15:21Speaker 1: you made you swing. You are such a great commentator
- 15:24Speaker 1: from the couch. There was another guy who was like,
- 15:27Speaker 1: what a loser's sport? Or like, play a real sport.
- 15:30Speaker 1: I went a zoomed on this page. First of all,
- 15:32Speaker 1: his account is protected private. Second, leagues weren't a lanyard
- 15:35Speaker 1: in his picture. Only losers were lanyards and pictures. Who
- 15:39Speaker 1: works at office job? Yeah, no, it's not even off.
- 15:41Speaker 1: He's like, he's like at a convention and he posted
- 15:43Speaker 1: a picture from his convention. Business guy.
- 15:46Speaker 3: I saw you comment somebody your mom's something.
- 15:49Speaker 1: Yeah, all my comments and your mom's now they that's
- 15:54Speaker 1: old school. That someone was like, that's what it was.
- 15:56Speaker 1: It was like play a real sport. And I was like,
- 15:58Speaker 1: your mom's a real sport. Oh my god. And it's
- 16:03Speaker 1: also funny that like Gator and George they got there
- 16:07Speaker 1: at different times yesterday and Gator gets there's like, man,
- 16:10Speaker 1: this court looks so good. We have a new court
- 16:11Speaker 1: built the house. And I was like, thanks forgetting that.
- 16:14Speaker 1: Some people actually think Eddie and I built at court
- 16:16Speaker 1: And he's like, I can't believe like the job, and
- 16:19Speaker 1: I was like, oh, do you thought we'd bought no, dude,
- 16:22Speaker 1: he told him that we didn't.
- 16:23Speaker 2: Yeh.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Then Gator showed it, shows up and gets on and
- 16:26Speaker 1: comes in. He goes, man, you guys a great job
- 16:28Speaker 1: of this court. And I keep thinking, everbody's kidding, and
- 16:31Speaker 1: I was like, dude, we didn't build this court.
- 16:33Speaker 2: It's like amazing.
- 16:34Speaker 1: It's like a real life we hired real Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:36Speaker 1: So we played for two and a half hours and
- 16:38Speaker 1: it was It was awesome, wasn't.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yeah, it was a great time. The weather was just phenomenal.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Asked both of these knucklehead to come. Read's like one
- 16:45Speaker 1: of my sinuses his sore?
- 16:46Speaker 2: Oh man, he's hangy bang's.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Hangy bang was sweat out, man, I don't feel And
- 16:53Speaker 1: Eddie was like, I have eleven kids practice on Sundays, man,
- 16:56Speaker 1: which is stupid.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Why have practices on football Sunday?
- 16:59Speaker 5: I don't.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, except that's the day that people aren't
- 17:04Speaker 1: doing anything right, you know. There's also that. Okay, let's
- 17:10Speaker 1: do tittle tattle. And then we got some more stuff
- 17:11Speaker 1: talk about let's go now stupid his name ever?
- 17:17Speaker 3: The tittle tattle, just talking about it. Pick a ball
- 17:23Speaker 3: all the weekend. So if you could play against anybody
- 17:25Speaker 3: in the world, who would it be.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I guess the question is do I want to play somebody?
- 17:31Speaker 1: I mean I would play somebody that I would David
- 17:33Speaker 1: Letterman just to talk, just to hang out and men fun,
- 17:36Speaker 1: although I'm afraid he may be a little too old now,
- 17:38Speaker 1: but I would still just use that as an example. Okay,
- 17:41Speaker 1: you can force anybody to come to pick a ball
- 17:42Speaker 1: with you, Okay, David Letterman and he sucks, and he's
- 17:45Speaker 1: like seventy yeah, and I'm like, who grees, Let's just talk, dude.
- 17:48Speaker 1: But if it's if it's also like play and compete,
- 17:52Speaker 1: maybe like Tom Brady, because I feel like or Michael Jordan,
- 18:00Speaker 1: like their goat athletes, they can probably still move around
- 18:04Speaker 1: a little bit. Brady more than Jordan obviously, still I
- 18:07Speaker 1: would think Brady more than Jordan. But also and you
- 18:10Speaker 1: could talk and hang out, but you can still probably
- 18:11Speaker 1: get in a good game, like that's fun. So yeah,
- 18:15Speaker 1: I'll probably go Brady. If if they're like pick anybody
- 18:18Speaker 1: and they have to come play and pick a ball
- 18:20Speaker 1: and they have to be with you for an hour
- 18:21Speaker 1: and a half, that'd be awesome. That'd be Brady. If
- 18:23Speaker 1: it's tennis, tennis players. I mean it probably Rodic, but
- 18:26Speaker 1: I could play with him at any time.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Sure.
- 18:27Speaker 1: He even tweeted me after I posted the video and
- 18:31Speaker 1: he was like, oh, you guys look pretty good. And
- 18:32Speaker 1: then I replied, I quote replied him because he was
- 18:35Speaker 1: messing with us on Twitter, and I was like, hey,
- 18:38Speaker 1: I do virtual lessons. If you knew to the game,
- 18:39Speaker 1: I could tinue.
- 18:41Speaker 3: I saw Logan Ryan commented on the Instagram too.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Logan Ryan's a big pickball player.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Has wanted a court as well, went yeah, yeah, he
- 18:48Speaker 2: had to court his house.
- 18:49Speaker 1: Yeah, all right? Next up, all right?
- 18:51Speaker 3: After putting up fifty six on Nebraska this weekend, is
- 18:53Speaker 3: Indiana a real threat in the Big Ten?
- 18:56Speaker 1: Which man pulling up their schedule? Please? They are seven
- 18:59Speaker 1: and zero. They have one in every game by fourteen points.
- 19:01Speaker 1: And we had talked about how they really hadn't played
- 19:04Speaker 1: anyone to this point that would be considered a team
- 19:10Speaker 1: that you would go, oh, they beat them. Now they're legit.
- 19:12Speaker 1: They finally had that with Nebraska. I know they have
- 19:15Speaker 1: to play and I have I know that play Ohio
- 19:16Speaker 1: State still, but can you read me a week to week?
- 19:18Speaker 3: Yeah, week to week here versus Washington?
- 19:21Speaker 1: Okay, we got another little test there. Washington's pretty good.
- 19:23Speaker 3: Go ahead at Michigan State.
- 19:25Speaker 1: Okay, at Michigan State's fine. I mean playing Michigan or
- 19:29Speaker 1: Michigan State, even when they're bad, is still the test
- 19:32Speaker 1: because it's not Jmu. I mean he played JAMU where
- 19:35Speaker 1: he came from. He's been playing some of those schools.
- 19:36Speaker 2: Is that Sjames Madison?
- 19:37Speaker 1: Yeah, but still Michigan. What's Michigan State's record? They went
- 19:41Speaker 1: two games, three games, but it doesn't matter. They're still
- 19:44Speaker 1: in Michigan State. Four and three, Okay, they still have athletes.
- 19:47Speaker 3: Go ahead, and then Michigan versus Michigan at home.
- 19:50Speaker 1: That will still be a really cool even though they're
- 19:52Speaker 1: not the old Michigan that's that will still be a
- 19:54Speaker 1: good test.
- 19:55Speaker 3: Go ahead at Ohio State.
- 19:57Speaker 1: They win that one. So do I think that they
- 19:59Speaker 1: will run No. I think they probably have two losses
- 20:02Speaker 1: in that mix whatever that and think Ohio State's probably
- 20:05Speaker 1: a loss. I just don't think they have the horses
- 20:07Speaker 1: to keep up even if they out scheme, outplay or
- 20:10Speaker 1: I don't think they actually have the athletes to keep
- 20:12Speaker 1: up there. And then they'll probably drop one of the
- 20:15Speaker 1: Michigan Michigan State w Washington games. Mostly yeah, because that's
- 20:18Speaker 1: just three really three moderately to pretty good teams and
- 20:24Speaker 1: you played three of them. Odds are you're gonna get
- 20:26Speaker 1: pushed in one or two. So I think they probably
- 20:28Speaker 1: lose two of the four. But who cares. That's awesome.
- 20:30Speaker 1: They ranked first in the Big ten. I know it
- 20:32Speaker 1: isn't that crazy.
- 20:33Speaker 3: Everyone talking about Oregon, Wihio State and ls in Indiana
- 20:36Speaker 3: seven weeks in.
- 20:37Speaker 1: But again they haven't played I know, you know, and.
- 20:40Speaker 3: They got Purdue to end the season, but that to win,
- 20:43Speaker 3: I would think, so, yeah, all right, what else NFL
- 20:45Speaker 3: here after handing the Vikings their first loss of the season,
- 20:47Speaker 3: or the line is the best team in the NFC.
- 20:50Speaker 1: That's a great game. I mean it was the game
- 20:52Speaker 1: of the day, right, awesome? Yeah, I mean score last drive,
- 20:59Speaker 1: score they want to field goal? Right, Yeah, that's a
- 21:03Speaker 1: really good game.
- 21:03Speaker 3: Montgomery fumbled and the Vikings picked it up and then
- 21:06Speaker 3: turned it.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, that was a really good game by two
- 21:09Speaker 1: really good teams. I would compare that to the Oregon
- 21:11Speaker 1: Ohio State game where that happened, and I'm like, oh,
- 21:13Speaker 1: if they played it again, I don't know that I
- 21:15Speaker 1: would absolutely deem won the absolute favorite. So they're both
- 21:19Speaker 1: really good and that can probably probably be the NFC championship.
- 21:23Speaker 1: It'd be fun, That would be fun. I hate the
- 21:25Speaker 1: eight and Hutchins out, but it's pretty cool, pretty cool.
- 21:28Speaker 1: The Vikings are good, pretty cool. The Lions are good.
- 21:30Speaker 1: I mean they were good last year, so now it's
- 21:32Speaker 1: not so new that the Terrible Lions are good. But
- 21:34Speaker 1: those are teams that usually aren't that good. It's pretty
- 21:36Speaker 1: fun to watch them both be good. You know, you
- 21:39Speaker 1: have the Commanders in the NFC. They want they want,
- 21:41Speaker 1: but they basically played the Indiana JV.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Team and Jade and Daniels didn't play. They got hurt
- 21:47Speaker 2: in the first first quarter, but he how how SIGNI
- 21:51Speaker 2: it's not like a Brown situation, right, No, I don't
- 21:54Speaker 2: think so.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I don't think more come out but yet.
- 21:56Speaker 1: And also they were playing garbage, so when you're playing garbage,
- 22:00Speaker 1: you can be a little hurt, a little quicker. Yeah,
- 22:02Speaker 1: I don't know that's the case. I don't know what
- 22:03Speaker 1: his injury is and who do they have next week?
- 22:05Speaker 1: Do we know? The Commanders? But also the Bucks, the Packers,
- 22:10Speaker 1: good win for them, they needed that went over the
- 22:12Speaker 1: Texans to like exclaim we are one of the top
- 22:16Speaker 1: tier teams.
- 22:17Speaker 3: Texans blew that Commanders play the Bears.
- 22:22Speaker 1: Yeah, who's backup over there?
- 22:23Speaker 3: Be a tough one over there.
- 22:25Speaker 1: Who came in?
- 22:26Speaker 2: Two last names?
- 22:28Speaker 1: Valdean Scantling.
- 22:29Speaker 2: No, no, I've never heard of the guy before.
- 22:33Speaker 1: Clyde Hilaire, Marcus Mariota.
- 22:34Speaker 2: No, oh was it Marcus Mariutha.
- 22:37Speaker 3: It has as their depth charts drift.
- 22:39Speaker 2: Okay, it was Mariota Marioda. Yeah, Eagles, which did win.
- 22:46Speaker 1: They had to win that game. Yeah, forty nine Ers.
- 22:49Speaker 1: But Ayuke's out. Yeah, I don't know, like he towards.
- 22:52Speaker 3: A cl right, that's what they're saying is likely hasn't
- 22:55Speaker 3: come out yet.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But yeah, I've still go on lines and lines and
- 22:58Speaker 1: vikings and say Donald's for real And now they have
- 23:01Speaker 1: a decision to make.
- 23:03Speaker 3: The vikings about the future.
- 23:05Speaker 1: Yeah, because I don't think he's gonna play a few
- 23:07Speaker 1: games be pretty good, and you know, I don't think
- 23:09Speaker 1: he's gonna flaco him and that's no disrespect to Flaccus
- 23:13Speaker 1: flight goes old, but play a few games, probably can't
- 23:15Speaker 1: run a whole season at that level. Yeah, I think
- 23:18Speaker 1: Sam Donald's he's like twenty seven. Yeah, like he's still.
- 23:21Speaker 4: Young, signed like a three, like a Baker deal. But
- 23:24Speaker 4: then you have a quarterback you just drafted in the
- 23:28Speaker 4: first round. That's a great problem to have, though, I
- 23:30Speaker 4: guess if you have to have a problem.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll tak a great problem that problem.
- 23:33Speaker 1: Yeah, that's Patriots bad night. Actually, Drake made the I
- 23:35Speaker 1: will say, Drake through two touchdowns. Yeah, dude, he slings it. Dude. Yes,
- 23:40Speaker 1: he just chunks and your offensive line is terrible, but
- 23:44Speaker 1: receivers is made through no interceptions. I don't think. I
- 23:46Speaker 1: don't know. Yeah, he looked great. I would have been
- 23:49Speaker 1: happy with you that game because you lost and you
- 23:52Speaker 1: saw growth in your quarterback. That's awesome exactly. It felt
- 23:56Speaker 1: like a win.
- 23:56Speaker 3: Internally, I was like, you know what, we won this game,
- 23:58Speaker 3: you wont win the season.
- 24:01Speaker 1: And you stay at top of the draft board. Exactly.
- 24:03Speaker 3: Yeah, go ahead, last one. Despite having Patrick Mahomes at QB.
- 24:07Speaker 3: Do you think the Chiefs defense is the main reason
- 24:09Speaker 3: they're still undefeated.
- 24:10Speaker 1: It's a massive part of it, and Mahomes won't lose games, right,
- 24:14Speaker 1: He does a lot of the magician stuff when he
- 24:16Speaker 1: needs to do the magician stuff. But you're not seeing
- 24:17Speaker 1: him do a lot of the magician stuff now because
- 24:19Speaker 1: they don't need to because that will actually cause them
- 24:21Speaker 1: to lose games. Like he can do that when they
- 24:23Speaker 1: need to win games, but you don't see him doing
- 24:24Speaker 1: a lot of the overhead watch this ticking my butt
- 24:27Speaker 1: come out of my mouth, and doesn't need to do
- 24:29Speaker 1: that because the defense is so good. Uh they picked
- 24:33Speaker 1: off yeah three times. Mahomes has four under passing yard,
- 24:39Speaker 1: six touchdowns, eight interceptions on the season, So he's just
- 24:41Speaker 1: a mediocre quarterback. But I don't think he's a mediocre quarterback.
- 24:44Speaker 1: I think he's playing the game he needs to play
- 24:47Speaker 1: so they can win games and they are still undefeated.
- 24:51Speaker 1: That it's so cool that he's he knows the kind
- 24:53Speaker 1: of quarterback he needs to be. And I think that
- 24:55Speaker 1: would drive me a bit crazy if it's like I'm
- 24:57Speaker 1: really good and I can do extra stuff, but they
- 24:59Speaker 1: don't need me to do extra stuf. If of me
- 25:00Speaker 1: doing extra stuff might actually cost us games. So I'm
- 25:02Speaker 1: going to just be an average quarterback because that's all
- 25:06Speaker 1: we need in order to win the game. And if
- 25:08Speaker 1: you do need me to do the whole sticking to
- 25:09Speaker 1: my buck in my mouth. I will do that. So
- 25:12Speaker 1: defense just is allowing just over fourteen fifteen sixteen points
- 25:15Speaker 1: a game.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Yeah, so I legit. They are legit the defense. I
- 25:18Speaker 3: mean the team obviously, but yeah, the defense is legit.
- 25:20Speaker 1: It's awesome. Good for them. Okay, I think that's it.
- 25:22Speaker 1: That's tittle tattle. Stupid, the tittle tattle. I mentioned our
- 25:30Speaker 1: parlay last, so Miami, I can't pick Arkansas. I always
- 25:34Speaker 1: say that, like, I'm not gonna pick them, so stupid.
- 25:38Speaker 1: What we can do, though, is we can walk through
- 25:39Speaker 1: some of the DraftKings pick six. So download the Draft
- 25:42Speaker 1: Kings Pick six app and use the code Bobby Sports,
- 25:45Speaker 1: and you're gonna love what you're gonna get. But it's
- 25:47Speaker 1: the thing where you pick a player and pick under
- 25:49Speaker 1: or over the stat line. I'll walk you through some
- 25:51Speaker 1: stat lines. You tell me how you feel. Because we've
- 25:53Speaker 1: got a good game tonight, Ravens and Bucks Baker Mayfield
- 25:56Speaker 1: more or less than two hundred and fifty seven passing yards, haven't.
- 26:00Speaker 1: I'll go first. I'm gonna go more because I think
- 26:01Speaker 1: they'll need it.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:03Speaker 1: I think the Ravens offense is so dynamic. I think
- 26:06Speaker 1: he's gonna have to throw a lot to keep up.
- 26:10Speaker 3: So yeah, I'm gonna go forty seven seven Yeah, Baker
- 26:15Speaker 3: or over, Yeah, I'm gonna go one.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Yeah, both of you guys went over. I'm gonna go under.
- 26:19Speaker 1: You really showed us, Eddie perfect.
- 26:21Speaker 2: How I do it?
- 26:21Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson more or less than fifty two yards rushing? Well,
- 26:24Speaker 1: the quarterback rushing thing is such a crapshoot.
- 26:26Speaker 2: It is because you'll pick a.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Quarterback that runs a lot eleven yards over under and
- 26:32Speaker 1: he gets one yard.
- 26:33Speaker 2: But not with Lamar. I feel like he runs a lot.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Fifty two is a lot.
- 26:36Speaker 1: Fifty two is a lot.
- 26:37Speaker 2: It is a lot.
- 26:38Speaker 1: That's a lot.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Like, that's a decent amount for running back.
- 26:41Speaker 1: I want to go less.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I'm gonna go more.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I'm gonna go more to Chris Godwin low key MVP
- 26:46Speaker 1: of that team. Yeah, more or less than seventy three
- 26:48Speaker 1: receiving yards. I go more because if there's one person
- 26:51Speaker 1: I believe on the team, it's Chris Godwin.
- 26:56Speaker 3: I'll go under.
- 26:56Speaker 1: How many tours like ACL two?
- 26:58Speaker 3: Yeah at Penn State.
- 26:59Speaker 1: No. And the end of this was that in the NFL.
- 27:01Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I don't remember that actually for a hamstring?
- 27:04Speaker 1: Oh yes, one of those, I get all my my
- 27:07Speaker 1: leg muscles mixed up.
- 27:08Speaker 2: They're all the same. Mike Evans out.
- 27:10Speaker 3: No, he's playing.
- 27:11Speaker 1: Oh but he did get hurt last week. But he's playing.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I felt bad for Mike Williams Jets. Oh yeah, did
- 27:20Speaker 1: he play like there was a fourth down? He caught
- 27:22Speaker 1: the pass, it was like fourth and four, but he didn't.
- 27:25Speaker 1: He didn't sho the practice for a couple of days
- 27:27Speaker 1: last week. Aaron Rodgers couchbag. Aaron Rodgers calls him out.
- 27:31Speaker 1: I hope they traded him. A Aron Rodgers douchebag. I
- 27:33Speaker 1: root for him. He's a douchebag.
- 27:35Speaker 2: Stop rooting for him.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I know, I try. But then last night there was
- 27:38Speaker 1: a point where I was hoping he didn't get it.
- 27:39Speaker 1: First time I ever had that happen.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Yeah, did you think much of it when he it
- 27:43Speaker 3: wasn't a big deal, I guess. But when he threw
- 27:44Speaker 3: the challenge flag, when the coach did you see that
- 27:47Speaker 3: the coach like threw it, and then they scored the
- 27:49Speaker 3: two point conversion or the touchdown was one of the
- 27:51Speaker 3: two and then Aaron like came up field, he grabbed
- 27:53Speaker 3: the flag like threw He's like hit the crap out of.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Here, douchebag, because we scored it anyway.
- 27:57Speaker 1: We scored exactly. I download the new Draft King's Pick

- 28:25Speaker 1: over and talk to Brandon Marcello, who is my favorite
- 28:27Speaker 1: sports writer, college sports writer in all football. He's how
- 28:29Speaker 1: I found out that Oklahoma fired their offensive coordinator this morning.
- 28:32Speaker 1: B Marcello on Twitter? Or is that he calls it X?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 28:36Speaker 1: Nobody calls it or Twitter unless you're trying too hard.
- 28:39Speaker 1: Brandon Marcelo, go follow them, big fans of them. Here
- 28:42Speaker 1: we go on with Brandon Marcelo, who I just read
- 28:45Speaker 1: your article today. I did not know that Seth Latroll
- 28:48Speaker 1: got fired at Oklahoma. That is how breaking is that
- 28:52Speaker 1: Sunday night not too surprising.
- 28:55Speaker 5: But we're getting into the bloody season, a lot of
- 28:59Speaker 5: coaches losing their jobs.
- 29:01Speaker 1: I guess being someone that has a relationship with well
- 29:05Speaker 1: people to have a relationship with Oklahoma, I mean he
- 29:08Speaker 1: had to church, my wife's family and stuff. They went
- 29:10Speaker 1: to North Texas head coach, right is where he came from.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Yeah, very much so yep.
- 29:14Speaker 1: And so is it really his fault? I mean they
- 29:17Speaker 1: got two freshman quarterback? Is it Seth or Charles fault?
- 29:20Speaker 1: Or did he have to just be the guy that fell?
- 29:22Speaker 5: He had to be the guy that fell on the sword,
- 29:24Speaker 5: so to speak. I also think that they didn't prepare
- 29:27Speaker 5: themselves well enough as far as just building the staff
- 29:30Speaker 5: out there when Jeff Levy left as EOC there to
- 29:34Speaker 5: go be the head coach of Mississippi State. They have
- 29:36Speaker 5: an offensive staff that's not really full of you know,
- 29:39Speaker 5: guys that can scheme, so to speak. Other than Seth,
- 29:43Speaker 5: they don't really have kind of a war room to
- 29:44Speaker 5: get in in there to kind of bounce ideas off
- 29:46Speaker 5: each other and game plan. And I'm very concerned and
- 29:50Speaker 5: interested to see how Oklahoma responds with this. It's just
- 29:53Speaker 5: as far as who are they turning two to one
- 29:56Speaker 5: scheme things up? And are they going to change the
- 29:58Speaker 5: format in there? Because they didn't. Really you have kind
- 30:00Speaker 5: of a war room to develop game plans. That's pretty
- 30:03Speaker 5: much just all on seth.
- 30:04Speaker 1: It's tough if you're going to hire a coach. It
- 30:05Speaker 1: feels like to me a lot more success with a
- 30:08Speaker 1: lot of these young offensive guys and Venables is obviously
- 30:11Speaker 1: a very defensive coach. I mean, that's what he's known for,
- 30:14Speaker 1: and his defense has been good. But holy crap, I mean,
- 30:17Speaker 1: and they gave him that extension without really ever having
- 30:22Speaker 1: won anything any chance of looking at that, like, why
- 30:25Speaker 1: do we jump the gun so early?
- 30:26Speaker 5: Yeah, you know, more and more schools are doing this
- 30:28Speaker 5: and I don't know why. And I had some agents
- 30:30Speaker 5: reach out to me during that game, going wow, they
- 30:34Speaker 5: extended him and gave him more pay raise back in
- 30:37Speaker 5: junior July, not even right after the season, when no
- 30:40Speaker 5: one was in danger of stealing him as the head
- 30:43Speaker 5: coach or even anything like that. So why are you
- 30:46Speaker 5: waiting until the summer to get that done when you
- 30:48Speaker 5: usually get that stuff done in the spring, and for
- 30:51Speaker 5: that matter, why are you even doing it anyway, because
- 30:53Speaker 5: he hadn't really done anything. He got you the nine
- 30:55Speaker 5: wins or whatever, but going to the SEC, you don't
- 30:58Speaker 5: know what that was going to look like. You just
- 31:00Speaker 5: lost your top tier offensive coordinator in Jeff Levy, and
- 31:03Speaker 5: you're pushing all your chips in the middle of the
- 31:05Speaker 5: table with the coach had only been there two years
- 31:07Speaker 5: so far, and you're doing somewhere. You know, usually people
- 31:11Speaker 5: get big pay raises because others are coming after them,
- 31:14Speaker 5: and that's not happening with Brenton Vinables And for.
- 31:18Speaker 1: My Oklahoma family. The only thing that could have saved
- 31:20Speaker 1: the night even a bit after their game against South Carolina,
- 31:23Speaker 1: which was over from the very very very beginning, was
- 31:26Speaker 1: Texas losing. And Texas did lose, and I found great
- 31:29Speaker 1: joy in that. I did, for one of being an
- 31:30Speaker 1: SEC guy and also being a Texas hater. So Texas
- 31:34Speaker 1: did make a run at the end and make it
- 31:35Speaker 1: a one possession game. How much of the game did
- 31:37Speaker 1: you get to watch and what do you think the
- 31:39Speaker 1: biggest difference in those two teams.
- 31:40Speaker 5: Was Georgia just seemed a little bit better prepared for
- 31:45Speaker 5: that game. They were so much more. I mean defensively,
- 31:48Speaker 5: they were terrorizing Texas all night. They only allowed what
- 31:51Speaker 5: thirty eight yards in that first half. You see some
- 31:55Speaker 5: of the motions, the pre snap adjustments that the defense
- 31:58Speaker 5: was making. You know, remember in this day and age
- 32:01Speaker 5: of college football, they now allow coach to player communications
- 32:04Speaker 5: in their headsets, but that turns off when the play
- 32:07Speaker 5: clock goes down to fifteen seconds. And Georgia, when the
- 32:10Speaker 5: communications went off and the offense was done making their adjustments,
- 32:14Speaker 5: the defense was making pre snap adjustments of their own
- 32:17Speaker 5: right before the snap, and it was absolutely terrorizing them.
- 32:20Speaker 5: They didn't know what to do offensively. Texas didn't matter
- 32:23Speaker 5: what quarterback was in there. And in this day and
- 32:26Speaker 5: age in college football, you know, you see Georgia lose
- 32:29Speaker 5: on the road at Alabama. They came out flat, but
- 32:31Speaker 5: then storm back against Alabama ended up losing where and
- 32:35Speaker 5: then Georgia the last three weeks, everybody's going, well, they're winning,
- 32:38Speaker 5: but they're not quite putting up a lot of points.
- 32:40Speaker 5: They're kind of playing closer games. But again, Kirby Smart
- 32:44Speaker 5: shows that great coaching and preparation really is what matters
- 32:49Speaker 5: when you try to get these kids all on the
- 32:50Speaker 5: same page week to week, because it's very easy for
- 32:54Speaker 5: locker rooms to kind of lose focus and come out
- 32:57Speaker 5: flat in some games. We've seen that, even with the
- 33:00Speaker 5: likes of Georgia earlier this year against Alabama. But Kirby
- 33:04Speaker 5: Smart had that team focused, and you could tell even
- 33:06Speaker 5: after the game, Kirby Smart, who never talks about the
- 33:09Speaker 5: media and all the outside expectations, goes out and says,
- 33:12Speaker 5: no one believed in US, and he was calling out ESPN,
- 33:14Speaker 5: said no one believed in US at ESPN to win
- 33:17Speaker 5: this game at Texas, you can tell that they were
- 33:20Speaker 5: using that this past week to really get their focus
- 33:23Speaker 5: and preparing for their scheme, and they worked out perfectly
- 33:26Speaker 5: against Texas.
- 33:27Speaker 1: So yours got hit pretty hard and they pulled viewers.
- 33:29Speaker 1: And it wasn't just because of the hit. He didn't
- 33:32Speaker 1: start the game well, but nobody did offensively for Texas
- 33:36Speaker 1: and they put Arch in. Now, I'm going to run
- 33:38Speaker 1: a hypothetical by you. We're just going to use what
- 33:40Speaker 1: we think might have happened. Let's imagine Arch makes the
- 33:43Speaker 1: right read on he threw a bad bat, he went
- 33:46Speaker 1: to the guy over, there was a guy under wide open.
- 33:48Speaker 1: Let's imagine Arch actually takes them down in scores on
- 33:50Speaker 1: that drive. Do you think Arch is today the starting
- 33:53Speaker 1: quarterback in Texas?
- 33:54Speaker 5: Yes, I think so. I also think that quinn Ewers
- 33:59Speaker 5: is still a little bothered, either subconsciously or actually physically
- 34:03Speaker 5: from his abdominal injury that kept him out the last
- 34:06Speaker 5: few weeks. I think that going into that game, Georgia
- 34:10Speaker 5: prepared very well, and obviously we're getting after him, but
- 34:12Speaker 5: I think that affected the way he was throwing the
- 34:14Speaker 5: ball a little bit in that game. I don't know
- 34:16Speaker 5: if his actual physical ailment or the lingering effects of
- 34:18Speaker 5: it mentally and arch Maning going in if he gets
- 34:22Speaker 5: just one really good drive, as you said, I think
- 34:24Speaker 5: we're talking about a wholly different, potentially an outcome there.
- 34:28Speaker 5: I don't know if they win, but most definitely something
- 34:30Speaker 5: where Steve Sarkesian is being asked as arch maning your
- 34:33Speaker 5: quarterback and him probably saying yes. He having said all that,
- 34:38Speaker 5: I do wonder about the doubt creeping into the Texas
- 34:41Speaker 5: locker room. It's human nature, no matter what your coach says, saying,
- 34:45Speaker 5: quin Ewers is our guy, but now you've played that
- 34:48Speaker 5: seed of quinn Ewers could be yanked out of a
- 34:50Speaker 5: game at any point. Now in a big game. You
- 34:53Speaker 5: just played the biggest game of the year, and you
- 34:55Speaker 5: yanked your quarterback out. So if you're a receiver or
- 34:57Speaker 5: running back, you're gonna be in the locker room one
- 35:00Speaker 5: during who's my starting quarterback? And then number two? Should
- 35:03Speaker 5: I be buddying up with arch Manning a little bit
- 35:05Speaker 5: more this week so I can get some more looks,
- 35:07Speaker 5: Or should I be buddying up more with quinn Ewers
- 35:10Speaker 5: a little bit? It just human nature. It affects the
- 35:13Speaker 5: relationships in the locker room, and then it'll affect the
- 35:15Speaker 5: production once on the field. I think that Steve Sarkisian
- 35:20Speaker 5: very much. Probably is being criticized by fans for that,
- 35:23Speaker 5: and rightfully so, because now you've got to handle some
- 35:26Speaker 5: things in the locker room that aren't being said out loud,
- 35:29Speaker 5: but it is certainly being thought about by the players.
- 35:31Speaker 1: The human nature thing is so funny, and I'm glad
- 35:34Speaker 1: you brought that up because we'll stay in Texas with it,
- 35:36Speaker 1: you know. And the thing was Texas hadn't they'd played Michigan. Well,
- 35:39Speaker 1: as Michigan played more games, it's more and more obvious
- 35:43Speaker 1: Michigan isn't what Michigan was last year. We never thought
- 35:46Speaker 1: they were going to be. However, they were still Michigan.
- 35:48Speaker 1: They were still ranked. They were ranked until yesterday until
- 35:50Speaker 1: he lost again. But now who has Texas play? Who
- 35:53Speaker 1: has Texas beat? And now does Texas go? Maybe we
- 35:56Speaker 1: are not Texas with the big balls that we thought
- 35:59Speaker 1: we were.
- 36:00Speaker 5: That's a big question for them, definitely, and you wonder
- 36:03Speaker 5: about how the players feel about that. The schedule certainly
- 36:07Speaker 5: does get tougher here. And I look at a team
- 36:10Speaker 5: like Texas A and M that's undefeated still in the
- 36:14Speaker 5: SEC as far As conference record, and some of their
- 36:16Speaker 5: toughest games are still remaining at home, including against Texas
- 36:20Speaker 5: when that rivalry gets renewed for the first time in
- 36:22Speaker 5: a dozen years, and it's in College station. So Texas
- 36:25Speaker 5: has much more difficult games coming up on the schedule,
- 36:29Speaker 5: not just because of the talent they face like at Georgia,
- 36:31Speaker 5: but they having to now go on the road to
- 36:33Speaker 5: face tougher teams. So that is something that's really going
- 36:36Speaker 5: to have to They're going to have to overcome somehow,
- 36:38Speaker 5: some way. As well. Having said all that, I still
- 36:41Speaker 5: think Texas is like a top eight team right now,
- 36:44Speaker 5: just because of the talent they have. I think that
- 36:47Speaker 5: they just needed a game like this earlier in the
- 36:49Speaker 5: year that they could have built off of whether it
- 36:51Speaker 5: was a win or loss. Now they're kind of actually
- 36:53Speaker 5: finding out who they are, and right now they're not
- 36:56Speaker 5: a top three team, but they can definitely rebound and
- 36:59Speaker 5: still be like a top five team. Went all of
- 37:01Speaker 5: a sudden done.
- 37:02Speaker 1: Oregon is number one. Oregon's a weird climb to number
- 37:07Speaker 1: one because when the season started, Oregon's gonna ball out.
- 37:10Speaker 1: They're here. They almost lost a couple of games, but
- 37:13Speaker 1: they didn't even like the Boise State game. They had
- 37:15Speaker 1: to like hold on, But Oregon is your number one team.
- 37:19Speaker 1: They did beat Ohio State. Are they, in your mind
- 37:21Speaker 1: the best team in college football.
- 37:24Speaker 5: For right now? Yes, But Georgia's nipping at the heels
- 37:27Speaker 5: a little bit. I think Georgia after that one game
- 37:31Speaker 5: at Texas certainly looks like it's playing better ball right now.
- 37:35Speaker 5: Having said that, Oregon started off shaky this year because
- 37:39Speaker 5: their offensive line had injuries and they're having to shuffle guys.
- 37:42Speaker 5: There was one game where they used ten different lineups
- 37:45Speaker 5: along their offensive line because they're just trying to figure
- 37:47Speaker 5: things out against Idaho, and but they've gotten healthier. They
- 37:52Speaker 5: have figured things all all out along the offensive line.
- 37:55Speaker 5: You know, they allow I think seven sacks in their
- 37:57Speaker 5: first three games after last season only allowing like five
- 38:00Speaker 5: or six all year. But since those first few weeks
- 38:03Speaker 5: they've improved drastically. They're not allowing sacks, Dylan Gabriel to
- 38:07Speaker 5: stop making mistakes at quarterback, and they just picked up
- 38:11Speaker 5: their first shutout road win since nineteen ninety two and
- 38:15Speaker 5: a thirty five notzhering win at Perdue. So they're clicking
- 38:18Speaker 5: right now. Hat that pass a halfway point. I do
- 38:21Speaker 5: think their schedule sets up very well for them to
- 38:25Speaker 5: make it into the Big Ten Championship game undefeated, and
- 38:28Speaker 5: even with the loss, they're still getting the playoff. Their
- 38:31Speaker 5: toughest game remaining on that schedule to me is actually
- 38:34Speaker 5: this week when they host Illinois. Illinois just beating Michigan recently.
- 38:39Speaker 5: Illinois is a type of team that will frustrate you defensively,
- 38:43Speaker 5: but offensively they keep the ball out of your hands.
- 38:45Speaker 5: And if Oregon gets off rhythm offensively because Oregon's defense
- 38:50Speaker 5: can't keep Illinois off the field, that could be potential
- 38:54Speaker 5: upset there. You know, I was talking to some other
- 38:56Speaker 5: folks earlier today, Illinois is something like a three touchdown
- 38:59Speaker 5: under the at Oregon, which shocked me. I think they're
- 39:02Speaker 5: going to cover in that game, if not be in
- 39:04Speaker 5: that game going into the fourth quarter.
- 39:08Speaker 1: Is cam Ward any? I mean? I know he's good.
- 39:10Speaker 1: Is Miami any good? They're giving up one hundred points
- 39:12Speaker 1: a game. They're barely winning these games. They are winning,
- 39:14Speaker 1: but they're not really beating teams of stats. What the
- 39:18Speaker 1: crap is happening with Miami.
- 39:20Speaker 5: They're playing seven on seven ball right now. It's like,
- 39:24Speaker 5: you know, you go out there and just throw the
- 39:25Speaker 5: ball up and see what happens. Cam Ward has been
- 39:28Speaker 5: an absolute magician for them. You know, they allowed forty
- 39:31Speaker 5: five points on the road in the ACC for the
- 39:34Speaker 5: first time in two years and still won at Louisville. Incredible,
- 39:39Speaker 5: And they're pulling these games out of their hat because
- 39:41Speaker 5: of cam Ward and what he's doing at quarterback. You know,
- 39:44Speaker 5: their defense has gotten worse from last season when I
- 39:46Speaker 5: thought it was actually gonna get better. They come up
- 39:48Speaker 5: big and big moments, both offensively and defensively. You wonder
- 39:52Speaker 5: how much longer you can keep doing that because I
- 39:55Speaker 5: go back to cam Ward when he was at Washington
- 39:57Speaker 5: State previously, where like at Miami had to like carry
- 40:01Speaker 5: them late in games, but at Washington State he's having
- 40:04Speaker 5: to carry them throughout the game and including the coaches
- 40:06Speaker 5: there just trying to get them out of bad play calls,
- 40:10Speaker 5: and it led to interceptions and fumbles and struggles in
- 40:15Speaker 5: the red zone. We haven't seen that at Miami because
- 40:18Speaker 5: he's got more talent around him offensively, but defensively. They've
- 40:22Speaker 5: got to get things fixed up here and in a hurry,
- 40:25Speaker 5: because you can't keep chancing things like this and just
- 40:28Speaker 5: count on one player to get you out of big,
- 40:31Speaker 5: big issues. I mean, Miami had a chance to take
- 40:34Speaker 5: over that game against Louisville, going up double digits and
- 40:36Speaker 5: then the defense allows a touchdown on the very next
- 40:38Speaker 5: possession to make it a game and they're having to
- 40:41Speaker 5: fight for their lives at the end. But because of
- 40:44Speaker 5: cam Ward, they are a team that's still undefeated, Whereas
- 40:48Speaker 5: if they had any other quarterback out there, maybe other
- 40:50Speaker 5: than Shador Sanders, because of the offense, they might have
- 40:53Speaker 5: three losses on the schedule at this point. That just
- 40:56Speaker 5: tells you how special cam ward.
- 40:57Speaker 1: Is final two questions in Indiana, which, by the way,
- 41:01Speaker 1: they haven't played anybody. Then they kicked crap out of Nebraska.
- 41:04Speaker 1: But Signetti, what do you think about him? And why
- 41:06Speaker 1: do you also feel he's the greatest coach right now alive?
- 41:09Speaker 5: He's amazing. Absolutely, I've been on their bandwagon in the
- 41:12Speaker 5: last four weeks. I did a story on them last week,
- 41:16Speaker 5: specifically on Curtis Rourke, their quarterback who's now injured, is
- 41:19Speaker 5: going to miss at least one week with a thumb injury.
- 41:22Speaker 5: But their offensive system just seems like they can hit
- 41:25Speaker 5: anything at any time because of the RPO and how
- 41:27Speaker 5: perfect they are with it run and pass. They're also
- 41:31Speaker 5: a team built off of guys that have just had
- 41:33Speaker 5: to bust their ass their entire lives. Always have had
- 41:36Speaker 5: chips on their shoulders. I know that's a sports cliche,
- 41:38Speaker 5: but these guys legitimately have. I mean, Curtis Ork, I mean,
- 41:42Speaker 5: this quarterback has all the measurables of an NFL guy.
- 41:44Speaker 5: He had a difficult time getting recruited because he played
- 41:47Speaker 5: in Canada his entire career and the only reason why
- 41:50Speaker 5: he landed at Ohio in the MAC to start his
- 41:53Speaker 5: years there is because his brother Nathan Rourke was the
- 41:56Speaker 5: quarterback at Ohio. Otherwise no one was paying any attention
- 41:59Speaker 5: to him. Indiana's top receiver, Elijah Surat, who they call
- 42:03Speaker 5: the waffle House because he's always open, started his career
- 42:07Speaker 5: at Saint Francis, then transferred to James Madison, and then
- 42:10Speaker 5: follow Kurt Signety from James Madison to Indiana. He's a
- 42:14Speaker 5: guy that was barely getting Division two offers and when
- 42:17Speaker 5: he was transferring, barely got any calls from Power five
- 42:20Speaker 5: lower tier teams. These are all guys that have something
- 42:23Speaker 5: to prove and they are just fed up with being
- 42:26Speaker 5: denied that. And Kurt Signetti is the same way he's
- 42:29Speaker 5: telled people since he's been in Indiana. All I do
- 42:32Speaker 5: is win, Google me go, look me up. And the
- 42:35Speaker 5: players believe in that. And in this day and age,
- 42:38Speaker 5: I was talking earlier about how there's more talent than
- 42:41Speaker 5: ever in the Power conferences, but it's also more spread out, right,
- 42:45Speaker 5: So when you do that with the transfer portal, you
- 42:48Speaker 5: put a lot of personalities out there that believe it's
- 42:51Speaker 5: all about them, and you have a harder time as
- 42:53Speaker 5: a head coach or a coordinator. Gave them all the
- 42:55Speaker 5: focus and be on the same page and buy into
- 42:57Speaker 5: your culture and buy into your program, in your scheme
- 43:00Speaker 5: of the way you do things, you ask players to sacrifice.
- 43:03Speaker 5: Not a lot of players want to do that nowadays,
- 43:06Speaker 5: but coaches like Kurt Signetti has managed to do that
- 43:09Speaker 5: at Indiana because he's gotten guys who have never really
- 43:12Speaker 5: been given big opportunities, and now that they've got it
- 43:15Speaker 5: and they see it working under Kurt Signetti, they believe
- 43:18Speaker 5: all in him and they'll do anything for him. That's
- 43:21Speaker 5: very rare in college football. Go look at programs like
- 43:24Speaker 5: in Alabama this year, which is uber talented still, but
- 43:28Speaker 5: they're undisciplined. They get penalized a lot, all of a sudden,
- 43:31Speaker 5: they look krky jerky offensively. It's because of that. Kurt
- 43:35Speaker 5: Signetti is kind of the perfect coach of the perfect
- 43:38Speaker 5: time right now at a place like Indiana with the
- 43:41Speaker 5: transfer portal in nil spreading the field a little bit
- 43:44Speaker 5: more evenly. But he's like one of the one lone
- 43:47Speaker 5: coaches out there where everybody on that roster believes in him.
- 43:50Speaker 1: I didn't notice if Calendi bor was wearing a callar
- 43:52Speaker 1: this week. Was he I really don't remember.
- 43:56Speaker 2: Was he Cue.
- 43:56Speaker 5: I can't remember either. All I know is that he's
- 43:59Speaker 5: got a if he is, we're in a collar. It's
- 44:01Speaker 5: real tight around.
- 44:02Speaker 1: And here's the final thing I'm gonna ask you, and
- 44:06Speaker 1: we're gonna use this on the National Show. So Brandon
- 44:09Speaker 1: Marcelo on with us. Brandon, give me your top five
- 44:12Speaker 1: teams right now in all of college football according to
- 44:15Speaker 1: you and what you have seen so far the season.
- 44:17Speaker 5: Well, right now, I've got Oregon number one. I think
- 44:20Speaker 5: they're the clear number one to me, but George is
- 44:23Speaker 5: nipping on their heels at this point after their incredible
- 44:26Speaker 5: performance against Texas this past week, and even if Oregon
- 44:31Speaker 5: wins but struggles a little bit against Illinois, I probably
- 44:35Speaker 5: end up bumping Georgia up to number one next week.
- 44:38Speaker 5: After that, I've got Ohio State. They have a bye week.
- 44:41Speaker 5: They're kind of lurking the shadows after their loss against
- 44:44Speaker 5: Oregon on the road. Play that at a neutral site
- 44:46Speaker 5: game is probably a different outcome. And then Miami and
- 44:50Speaker 5: Penn State. Miami I've been high on all season. I've
- 44:53Speaker 5: had them at number four for several weeks now. They
- 44:56Speaker 5: keep playing these close games. Cam Ward's managed to get
- 44:59Speaker 5: them going late in games to win it and Penn
- 45:02Speaker 5: State huge game at Camp Randall at Wisconsin. Wisconsin on
- 45:07Speaker 5: our roll since losing to Alabama, and it's because their
- 45:10Speaker 5: quarterback is throwing multiple touchdowns and games. In this past
- 45:14Speaker 5: week they almost eclipse two hundred yards rushing against a
- 45:16Speaker 5: very good Northwestern defense that hadn't allowed more than one
- 45:19Speaker 5: hundred and fifty yards rushing all season. Very dangerous spot
- 45:23Speaker 5: for a couple of Big Ten teams going into this
- 45:25Speaker 5: in the top five.
- 45:26Speaker 1: Brandon Marcelo you can read his art goals at two
- 45:28Speaker 1: four to seven sports dot com. He's my favorite writer
- 45:30Speaker 1: in the whole wide world. He broke news to me
- 45:33Speaker 1: this morning as a matter of fact. Brandon. Good to
- 45:35Speaker 1: talk to you, buddy, and we'll talk to you next week.
- 45:36Speaker 5: All right, see you, Bobby.
- 45:37Speaker 1: Say buddy, Kevin, how'd you feel about the balls taking
- 45:47Speaker 1: the goalposts down?
- 45:48Speaker 3: Hated it?
- 45:48Speaker 1: Yeah, like pretty lame.
- 45:49Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't understand what they're doing. I think now
- 45:53Speaker 3: it's like you know, Vandy did it, and like people
- 45:55Speaker 3: are doing it now. It's like a social thing where's like, well,
- 45:56Speaker 3: we're gonna go viral if we do it. This looks
- 45:58Speaker 3: fun and cool and it's just like, come on, you
- 46:00Speaker 3: as are a good program.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Was like that was a real one. They should have
- 46:04Speaker 1: ripped the building up right, like that was a huge
- 46:06Speaker 1: should have jumped cars over, should have been like Detroit
- 46:08Speaker 1: ninety two after that lighting stuff on fire. I'm all
- 46:12Speaker 1: I would have been.
- 46:12Speaker 3: Like, I get it, that's just a normal night on Broadway.
- 46:15Speaker 1: Though. Yeah, I felt like that was kind of lame.
- 46:18Speaker 3: Yeah. Even rushing the field is like, that's teetering.
- 46:22Speaker 1: Id rushing the field against Tennessee, I felt so stupid
- 46:25Speaker 1: one because I don't have to pay the money. Not
- 46:27Speaker 1: that I pay it, but I was like, don't give
- 46:29Speaker 1: them that respect. We beat Tennessee four times in a row,
- 46:32Speaker 1: and like five out of the last six. It's like,
- 46:34Speaker 1: I know, we didn't even do it because it was Tennessee.
- 46:35Speaker 1: We did it because they were a top five school. Yeah,
- 46:37Speaker 1: top five.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Yeah, but it's like nice, nice, I'm getting legit now,
- 46:42Speaker 3: I'm getting legit when we beat him, yeah, yeah, when
- 46:46Speaker 3: we beat him more of you guys.
- 46:49Speaker 1: So, but I didn't like it. I felt like we
- 46:52Speaker 1: beat them so many times, who cares that the goalposting?
- 46:57Speaker 1: It just one is going to cost money to get
- 46:59Speaker 1: on the field to Okay, it's stupid.
- 47:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't.
- 47:05Speaker 1: It's your team too, it's your team.
- 47:07Speaker 3: I know, I know, and I would have been on
- 47:09Speaker 3: the field like you guys, what are we doing? He's
- 47:10Speaker 3: fighting people?
- 47:11Speaker 1: No push it back? Hey, Eddie, did you do you
- 47:16Speaker 1: like that the Cowboys didn't play?
- 47:17Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh man, it was stress free, dude. Like I
- 47:20Speaker 2: really woke up Sunday like, oh the birds are chirping, Ah,
- 47:25Speaker 2: nothing to stress out about the day. And I went
- 47:27Speaker 2: to bed and I wasn't upset.
- 47:29Speaker 1: I hate bye weeks, thee oh they're bowing even if
- 47:32Speaker 1: my team sucks.
- 47:32Speaker 2: I hate bye weeks. But I needed a break. Man,
- 47:34Speaker 2: There's too much going on in my life. When the
- 47:36Speaker 2: Cowboys are playing like it's all build up all week,
- 47:39Speaker 2: then Sunday they let us down. I'm upset all the
- 47:42Speaker 2: way to Thursday. Then games start again and start the
- 47:45Speaker 2: start the whole rotation again. Too much.
- 47:48Speaker 1: Yeah, and to have a bye week after a blowout
- 47:51Speaker 1: two sucks. It just sits in you. Yes, we had
- 47:54Speaker 1: our by week after a big win, and I just
- 47:57Speaker 1: kind of wanted to play. I just I just don't
- 47:58Speaker 1: like bye weeks, but also I'm the having to play,
- 48:00Speaker 1: so I did see like.
- 48:01Speaker 2: Dak did get married or something like that.
- 48:04Speaker 3: He proposed that, like, yeah, I just proposed it, just
- 48:07Speaker 3: proposed in the green. Wasn't it somewhere in a golf course?
- 48:11Speaker 2: I guess? But shouldn't shouldn't we be practicing? Okay, off
- 48:14Speaker 2: week Tony Romo goes to like Hawaiian crap, like when
- 48:18Speaker 2: he used to play.
- 48:19Speaker 3: The players get like four days off.
- 48:20Speaker 1: Yeah, they should do.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Hip out the cowboys, like we shouldn't have any days off,
- 48:25Speaker 2: like you suck right now, we need to work.
- 48:27Speaker 1: Maybe they just need some rest.
- 48:29Speaker 3: Oh maybe that's hey, Eddie's that guy in your clements.
- 48:33Speaker 2: Put your foot in front of yours.
- 48:36Speaker 1: Oklahoma is not good and I don't like that they're
- 48:38Speaker 1: not good. I'm glad they didn't come into the SEC
- 48:41Speaker 1: and just want a bunch because I have felt stupid,
- 48:43Speaker 1: like a family team comes in and the dominates. But
- 48:45Speaker 1: I don't like it how bad they are. They played
- 48:47Speaker 1: South Carolina was over in the first quarter, because I
- 48:50Speaker 1: I don't mind if they're terrible when it's my wife,
- 48:54Speaker 1: because forever she makes fun of Arkansas like she makes
- 48:58Speaker 1: fun of me. Why do you keep it in for teams?
- 49:00Speaker 1: So I don't mind if they suck for her, but like, like,
- 49:02Speaker 1: I really love her dad, and I hate that he
- 49:03Speaker 1: gets sad about them being so bad. It's the sweet
- 49:05Speaker 1: guy I know, and I know he's like me, and
- 49:07Speaker 1: he's sitting over there just like chewing the sight of
- 49:09Speaker 1: the But South Carolina just jumped him. It was over.
- 49:13Speaker 3: I was in Norman too, wasn't it?
- 49:15Speaker 1: It was? It was a bad one. Another breaking news,
- 49:20Speaker 1: Matt Overton was on the Dolphins.
- 49:21Speaker 2: Saw that. I thought you were joking.
- 49:23Speaker 1: They said his name. I didn't even playing and they
- 49:25Speaker 1: were like, uh, just signed Matt Overton, deep snapper And
- 49:27Speaker 1: I'm like, wait what signed? When this morning? They flying
- 49:30Speaker 1: at noon?
- 49:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 49:32Speaker 1: Are boy Matt Overton?
- 49:32Speaker 2: He keeps getting called that.
- 49:33Speaker 1: That's awesome. Turn wasn't he playing yesterday? No? Two weeks ago?
- 49:40Speaker 1: For sure? Was the award for best or Worst helmet?
- 49:45Speaker 2: The best?
- 49:47Speaker 1: What did you think, Illinois?
- 49:51Speaker 3: The helmets were cool at first, it was like, but
- 49:54Speaker 3: the uniforms was just it was just too much.
- 49:56Speaker 2: It was a whole thing. Yeah, it was a whole thing.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Yeah an outfit, guys, No, is that what your wife
- 50:01Speaker 2: calls it?
- 50:03Speaker 1: I loved the helmets when I saw the pictures of
- 50:07Speaker 1: them before. I don't know they were playing them. They're
- 50:08Speaker 1: like each of these helmets took two hours is to
- 50:10Speaker 1: represent the oh and I was like, oh, those they
- 50:12Speaker 1: really paining those helmets cool. I was like, Oh, wond
- 50:13Speaker 1: if they're gonna wear them in the game or if
- 50:15Speaker 1: they're just like decorative. I love those leather looking helmets.
- 50:19Speaker 1: They were awesome me too. I didn't mind that the uniforms.
- 50:22Speaker 2: Well, it's you know, like those were the kinds of
- 50:24Speaker 2: uniforms they wore back then when they Yeah.
- 50:26Speaker 3: Trust me and I get it.
- 50:27Speaker 1: I get it.
- 50:27Speaker 3: But like I thought the helmet was so cool, and
- 50:29Speaker 3: then the uniform just took away from it.
- 50:31Speaker 2: You know, I thought they were real leather helmets. I'm like, damn,
- 50:33Speaker 2: that's ballar.
- 50:33Speaker 1: That would have been.
- 50:36Speaker 2: That's baller boys.
- 50:39Speaker 1: Hey, Mike, can we take a break for one more segment?
- 50:41Speaker 5: Or no?
- 50:41Speaker 1: Yeah, do that? I just take one more break. The
- 50:43Speaker 1: best part about football season is checking out the post
- 50:46Speaker 1: game stats, especially if you were in on it and
- 50:48Speaker 1: you're wondering because it's gonna help you or hurt you.

- 50:57Speaker 1: lineman had two sacks or who had intercepts. Well, now,

- 52:17Speaker 1: about the Texas Georgia game. Mike, I'll go to you first. Yeah,
- 52:22Speaker 1: that's terrible. I feel awful.
- 52:25Speaker 6: M I don't think you should feel awful, but that
- 52:29Speaker 6: was like the one game like if we could beat Georgia,
- 52:31Speaker 6: then everybody would just stop talking like we haven't beaten everybody.
- 52:34Speaker 6: That would have just taken out all that doubt. And
- 52:36Speaker 6: now it's like, ah, I look at you. You don't
- 52:38Speaker 6: belong to the a SEC.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Yeah, you have to deal with that. You'll have to deal
- 52:40Speaker 1: with that for a little bit. That part sucks, but
- 52:42Speaker 1: you are good.
- 52:43Speaker 6: But the offense just look horrible, like not even scoring
- 52:46Speaker 6: in the first half, Like what is happening?
- 52:49Speaker 1: That's tough. I was rooting against you, but that's okay because.
- 52:54Speaker 2: They had a bet. Oh no, you're a hater. You
- 52:55Speaker 2: called it.
- 52:57Speaker 1: Excuse me, you called it that Georgia was gonna beat it.
- 52:59Speaker 1: I did think Georgia would win, but also called Arkansas
- 53:02Speaker 1: winning in the freaking part.
- 53:03Speaker 3: Lady get Georgia.
- 53:06Speaker 1: I let my heart get with that one. I did
- 53:08Speaker 1: feel like Georgia was going to come in because no
- 53:12Speaker 1: one was giving him a shot. And that's weird for
- 53:13Speaker 1: Georgia to not get a shot.
- 53:15Speaker 2: Uh.
- 53:15Speaker 1: And I feel like Texas hadn't really played anyone with
- 53:19Speaker 1: a past defense like Georgia had. Georgia's defensive line. Georgia
- 53:23Speaker 1: just has dudes, right, maybe they're not. Their wide receiver
- 53:26Speaker 1: Cord doesn't seem like as duty as they have been
- 53:27Speaker 1: in the past. Carson bec though a rough couple first
- 53:31Speaker 1: possessions not great, but then it was on. But I think, listen,
- 53:36Speaker 1: Texas wasn't gonna go indefeated anyway. Nobody is. Nobody's gonna
- 53:38Speaker 1: go unefeeded, so might as well lose to Georgia. Georgia
- 53:42Speaker 1: lost to Alabama, and to hear Georgia talk about it,
- 53:44Speaker 1: they're like, we needed that, we needed to be in
- 53:46Speaker 1: a fight, We needed it, so hey to have like
- 53:49Speaker 1: be like, oh, Texas is fine, because I just wish
- 53:51Speaker 1: they'd fallen a hole, but they got dropped to what
- 53:53Speaker 1: what are they now?
- 53:53Speaker 6: Five?
- 53:54Speaker 2: That's not that's not much.
- 53:55Speaker 1: No, they're great. You're gonna be fine. You have a
- 53:57Speaker 1: couple other big games coming up Texas schedule. I know
- 53:59Speaker 1: we've done this before, but I remember going through and
- 54:01Speaker 1: like that was the one. If you won that one,
- 54:03Speaker 1: like you were set set. But now there's a little question.
- 54:06Speaker 1: There's a little doubt. But that's also probably good for
- 54:08Speaker 1: the team to just not feel like they're gonna run
- 54:10Speaker 1: through it now, Yeah, because that's when you get caught
- 54:12Speaker 1: up at the end, and when you get caught at
- 54:14Speaker 1: the end, get seasons over. So yeah, that sucked, but
- 54:18Speaker 1: they did make it a one possession game.
- 54:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and they're now going into Vandy.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Vandy's gonna be like, oh, we can take them. They're
- 54:23Speaker 1: gonna run bandy. It sucks. Mand's my third favorite new
- 54:26Speaker 1: team of like my secondary team. Vandy's gonna they're gonna
- 54:30Speaker 1: run a hole through Vandy set. I hope they don't,
- 54:32Speaker 1: but I think they're gonna come run a whole Mike
- 54:34Speaker 1: you going.
- 54:34Speaker 3: Yeah, nice.
- 54:35Speaker 2: But if Vandy does beat them, Texas go back to
- 54:38Speaker 2: the big call. The stadium is getting torn down.
- 54:41Speaker 1: That just leave the big Oh yeah, I'm gonna go
- 54:43Speaker 1: burn my car in my yard. It's not even about
- 54:46Speaker 1: the I'm taking the pickupball court. I'm demolishing game with it.
- 54:49Speaker 3: And then you have all the fans throwing stuff on
- 54:51Speaker 3: the field.
- 54:52Speaker 1: I did not watch that live. I had to go
- 54:54Speaker 1: watch back because I was what the Arkansas game is
- 54:56Speaker 1: not at the same time. So apparently it was passing
- 54:58Speaker 1: interference called. It really wasn't a pass interference call, but
- 55:01Speaker 1: then they threw all the crap and then the refs
- 55:03Speaker 1: overturned it. But it looked like the refs overturned it
- 55:05Speaker 1: because the people did the crap on the field, but
- 55:07Speaker 1: the refs say, that's not why. I don't even know
- 55:09Speaker 1: what happened.
- 55:10Speaker 2: The timing was weird though, because like there was the
- 55:12Speaker 2: pass interference right, and then they're they're cleaning all the
- 55:16Speaker 2: stuff off because they threw all this trash. They were
- 55:18Speaker 2: upset about the call, and as they're throwing all this
- 55:20Speaker 2: stuff away, they were like huddling up, and as soon
- 55:23Speaker 2: as it was cleaned up, they're like, we have a call,
- 55:25Speaker 2: And I thought, like, oh, delay of game maybe because
- 55:27Speaker 2: of all the trash. No, then they're going to review
- 55:29Speaker 2: the pass interference, which is weird. They're going to review
- 55:31Speaker 2: a pass interference. Then they overturned it for it for
- 55:34Speaker 2: like a huge interception. It's a difference in a review
- 55:38Speaker 2: and referees get together and talking the reviews.
- 55:41Speaker 1: If they go and they watch it, the referees can't
- 55:44Speaker 1: come together and talk and be like, that wasn't a
- 55:45Speaker 1: pass interference, And that's what happened. They didn't review the
- 55:47Speaker 1: pass interference. They did not go to the screen. No,
- 55:50Speaker 1: they didn't correct because you cannot review a pass interference,
- 55:53Speaker 1: but you can go hey, I had a really good
- 55:55Speaker 1: angle on that. That's why they picked flags up. Sometimes
- 55:58Speaker 1: yeah from my from because I didn't watch it live,
- 56:01Speaker 1: but I did try to watch clips and it's still
- 56:03Speaker 1: not the same. It seemed to me like that's what happened.
- 56:06Speaker 1: But you can't throw crap on the field. They should
- 56:08Speaker 1: have penalized the fans.
- 56:09Speaker 2: I totally thought it was going to be a delay
- 56:11Speaker 2: of game because of that. It took so much to
- 56:12Speaker 2: clean up. But if it wasn't for picking up the
- 56:14Speaker 2: trash and giving them those ten minutes to like talk
- 56:16Speaker 2: about it.
- 56:17Speaker 1: I don't think that's I don't think they would have.
- 56:18Speaker 1: I think they would have, and I think that all
- 56:20Speaker 1: the trash coming down just kept them from doing that
- 56:22Speaker 1: right then, because it was that was kind of a moment.
- 56:25Speaker 1: You didn't want to get hit by anything. You just
- 56:26Speaker 1: get out of the way and wait till it's over
- 56:27Speaker 1: and then meet. I'm happy though, for my friends that
- 56:30Speaker 1: it did seem fishy. Though it did. It did seem fishy,
- 56:32Speaker 1: but looking at it from a day later, they didn't
- 56:38Speaker 1: review it. They didn't go and gather underneath the beer
- 56:40Speaker 1: bottles coming down, which is what would have happened, and
- 56:45Speaker 1: they did up making the right call, but it did
- 56:46Speaker 1: look like they if you just eyes on, it looks
- 56:48Speaker 1: like they changed their call because Texas own beer bottles.
- 56:50Speaker 6: And now they're trying to find all the students and
- 56:52Speaker 6: ban them for the rest of the season.
- 56:54Speaker 1: Good hope, so they deserve it.
- 56:57Speaker 3: He's like, oh, I know who they are.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Yeah, I go down and pointing to all of them
- 57:01Speaker 1: or Stati's.
- 57:02Speaker 2: No, that was my friend man Baron. It's my buddy,
- 57:04Speaker 2: my Instagram buddy. He follows me on Instagram. Who number
- 57:08Speaker 2: seven for the Longhorns.
- 57:09Speaker 1: I don't know who it is.
- 57:10Speaker 2: But he follows me on Instagram. That's awesome. And I
- 57:13Speaker 2: saw him follow me and I was like, oh, that's cool.
- 57:15Speaker 2: And then I followed him back and he's the dude.
- 57:17Speaker 2: He's got he's got a lot of interceptions. He's really good.
- 57:19Speaker 2: He's a great dB. And so the whole game, I
- 57:22Speaker 2: was making the joke and like, oh, that's my friend
- 57:24Speaker 2: right there, number seven, And then he'd make a play
- 57:25Speaker 2: and like, oh was that my friend?
- 57:27Speaker 1: That was my friend.
- 57:27Speaker 2: It's awesome kids to probably believe that crowd totally. Yeah.
- 57:30Speaker 2: So now my kids probably telling their friends at school
- 57:32Speaker 2: right now that, Yeah, I mean my dad's friend. Man,
- 57:35Speaker 2: he's barn.
- 57:36Speaker 3: That's cool.
- 57:36Speaker 1: All right, wrapping it up, Let's just walk through the
- 57:38Speaker 1: games real quick. Oregon wins block from the beginning over Purdue.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Miami wins. That game was just a lot of points.
- 57:46Speaker 1: It was like eleven on six offens has had eleven
- 57:49Speaker 1: defense at six.
- 57:51Speaker 2: Clemson beats Virginia. Clemson's good. I guess, I guess right.
- 57:58Speaker 3: Yeah, they you can find out they play Miami could
- 58:01Speaker 3: have been maybe because it's the only those are the
- 58:02Speaker 3: only two teams in the ACC.
- 58:03Speaker 1: You're like, okay, and so somebody probably going defeated and
- 58:05Speaker 1: they're gonna look like they're gonna get one of those
- 58:07Speaker 1: four buys because they won the conference. Tennessee beats Alabama.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Is a good game? Does a good game?
- 58:14Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 58:15Speaker 5: It was.
- 58:15Speaker 2: You think the Clemson thing. You think your spell's over,
- 58:17Speaker 2: like worn out?
- 58:18Speaker 1: Okay, they lost their only game. They were supposed to
- 58:24Speaker 1: be tough. They shall lose other tough games. Oh, they shall.
- 58:29Speaker 1: What you got.
- 58:29Speaker 3: They don't play each other in the regular season.
- 58:32Speaker 1: That's so lame, I know, but there's so many teams
- 58:34Speaker 1: and now these conferences. You can't play everybody all the time,
- 58:37Speaker 1: or you can't play everybody like the Big Ten. Some
- 58:39Speaker 1: of the schools just aren't playing each other, you know,
- 58:41Speaker 1: they don't play each other.
- 58:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Clemson does play South Carolina at the end of
- 58:44Speaker 3: the year, though.
- 58:45Speaker 1: South Carolina is formidable. Yeah, they're formidable enough for if
- 58:48Speaker 1: South Carolina beats them, then Clemson does suck because South
- 58:53Speaker 1: Carolina is not great.
- 58:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Is that their rival?
- 58:56Speaker 1: Yeah? Rivalry week in state?
- 58:57Speaker 2: Rival just right?
- 58:59Speaker 1: Yeah, just rival.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 59:01Speaker 1: LSU beat arktil thirty four ten a little closer than that.
- 59:03Speaker 1: The second half got out of hand. Interception turned it
- 59:05Speaker 1: all around. It's so stupid. I hate life. Georgia beat
- 59:08Speaker 1: Texas that scores a little closer than the game. Texas
- 59:13Speaker 1: did make it a one possession game, but Georgia did
- 59:16Speaker 1: look just like they were more motivated and bigger and stronger. Right,
- 59:21Speaker 1: didn't they look bigger and stronger?
- 59:22Speaker 2: They did? Yeah, yes, it's funny how a team can
- 59:26Speaker 2: look that way. I don't know if that's a and
- 59:27Speaker 2: usually Texas looks bigger and stronger. But maybe Texas was
- 59:30Speaker 2: like whining so much like and I heard I heard
- 59:31Speaker 2: it to the microphones that I thought, maybe they're not.
- 59:33Speaker 1: Bigger and stronger.
- 59:33Speaker 2: Feel fragile?
- 59:34Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah, fragile's game.
- 59:36Speaker 2: What's crazy that Kirby Smart did call out ESPN to
- 59:39Speaker 2: ESPN like, you guys didn't believe us after you got
- 59:43Speaker 2: you got? He played the reporter as a Katie George,
- 59:46Speaker 2: you didn't believe us?
- 59:47Speaker 1: Iowa State, you see f it's close game. Io State
- 59:50Speaker 1: almost almost lost it. They're undefeated. I believe i State is.
- 59:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Weekend NFL preview review review. Jags win. Good for
- 59:59Speaker 2: the jaz Is winning again.
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: You don't want to win, Kevin, Sorry, I'm not I'm
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: sorry you don't want to win but your quarterback look good.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: Yeah, he looks. Yeah, that's the first good quarterback I've
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: seen him about four years.
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: Jacks Wine. They have two wins. Now, let's go, Jaggs,
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: let's go.
- 1:00:11Speaker 2: But they're not playing London anymore. Back to the real world,
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: Back to America.
- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Seahawks beat the Falcons. Thought the game would be a
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: little closer. Seahawks defense played well. Same Bills beat the Titans. Well, yeah,
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Mason Rudolf's now the starter for.
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: Sure, for sure, because they they bench. I thought it
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: was hurt. It's hurt. Yeah, I don't think they benched Levis.
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: I think he just couldn't play.
- 1:00:33Speaker 1: Guys, I'm telling you, no, you're probably right. He's hurt.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Finger quote. Yeah, Mason, Mason Rudolf is the starter.
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: They announced it Saturday night.
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: I'm telling you he had that same injury, then came
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: back and played a game, and then all of a sudden,
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: has this. It doesn't matter. The Titans, Bengals beat the Browns.
- 1:00:52Speaker 1: Uh so, yeah, I did not see this. All Kevin
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: said to me was you see him he towards Achilles. Yeah,
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: Deshaun Watson, did you see it?
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: And I did not see it.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: I went back and watched the crowd cheer.
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: That's terrible.
- 1:01:04Speaker 1: Yeah, that was bad. And I don't think they were
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: cheering at the injury. I think they were cheering because
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: they don't have to have him anymore. Yeah, yeah, but
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: either I think they would have cheered the same way
- 1:01:11Speaker 1: even if they said, hey, everybody, Deshaun Watson's gonna walk
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: off the field not come back.
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: Well, that would have been better cheer.
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: But when he's on the car, it's like kind of
- 1:01:17Speaker 3: know what's going on.
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: Uh huh. He may even be relieved, let's be honest. Yeah,
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: he got it. Yeah, like he may be telling those guys, hey,
- 1:01:25Speaker 1: down to the pile, grab my achilles a twist, oh my,
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: get me out of this. Packers and Texans. Big game
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: for the Packers game whin a field goal?
- 1:01:33Speaker 2: Uh?
- 1:01:34Speaker 1: Dolphins Colt is bad game? Vikings Lions, Lions win. That's
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: a good game. Eagles, what the Giants? Giants suck?
- 1:01:41Speaker 5: Uh?
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: Dan Danads got benched? Yeah yeah, I looked over on
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: the on the sideline.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Yeah, who played the veto? No, it's not there anymore.
- 1:01:49Speaker 1: He may be three, I don't know.
- 1:01:50Speaker 3: He's on the Broncos and the Seahawks, Drew Luck, Yeah.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: Drew Luck.
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: Yeah, or that guy Rams meet the Raiders. That wasn't
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: even that was not even a game.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: I didn't even realize did watch.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: It was ugly. I watched like a series and a half,
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: and I was like, what's happening. This looks like a scrimmage.
- 1:02:03Speaker 2: You know how you can like split your screens up
- 1:02:06Speaker 2: on like red ze or whatever, like a no, nope,
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: don't bother.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: No, we're good commander for the Panthers. Chief beat the
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: forty nine Ers, but Brandan new with the knee injury.
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: That sucks.
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: Yeah, because also they don't have a they don't have McAffrey.
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: Still Caffrey h is deebo.
- 1:02:23Speaker 3: Playing people played like five plays.
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: I think, yeah, yeah, that sucks. So Chiefs winning. Then
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: Steelers went hilarious, hilarious. Aaron Rodgers, you suck. I st
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: it for you. You suck. Okay, that's it. I want
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: to thank you reading think us say, buddy didn't talk much.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Your one sign is hurt. So yeah, this side right here,
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: right here, But hey pick a ball today, guys. Anybody,
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: Well we have to work out though. Yeah, we usually
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: played before we can play a little bit. I have
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: therapy and no we can't. Oh okay, you had your chance,
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: maybe played fifteen minutes.
- 1:02:54Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all I need, just to I can get better.
- 1:02:56Speaker 2: They can play Kevin over there. It's threatening me.
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: Did he if Kevin play? If you two played the
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: exact same amount of times for a month, same exact
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: amount of times, everything with exactly. I was getting annoyed
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: how good he was getting playing singles because I was
- 1:03:09Speaker 1: just like, I'm gonna be just pounded pound Kevin real quick,
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: just move him around, not even like hit it. And
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: I was like, oh, it's too good an athlete. And
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: he starting to learn how to play that term I
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: had around backward even though I wasn't wearing one. Oh
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: you made the whole Yeah, I did it already to on.
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: Then I told him after. I was like, dang, dude,
