- 0:00Speaker 1: Bule Cap Podcast Special guests in here. My guy's on fire.
- 0:04Speaker 1: He's on fire right now. One of my favorites, PZ
- 0:07Speaker 1: is here. Detroit's in the building. Thank you, brother, I
- 0:10Speaker 1: appreciate you. It's dope to see uh this because I've
- 0:14Speaker 1: been following you for a long time. Obviously, I've been
- 0:16Speaker 1: tapped in since before you got locked up, and uh,
- 0:19Speaker 1: it's super dope to see you catch this hit record. Man,
- 0:24Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And now it feels like
- 0:26Speaker 1: everybody else is coming around, you know what I'm saying.
- 0:29Speaker 1: How do you feel like? Because it's one thing to
- 0:31Speaker 1: have the catalog and to be able to go to
- 0:33Speaker 1: certain markets and pick up bags and to get those
- 0:36Speaker 1: streaming checks, But how does it feel to have like
- 0:37Speaker 1: a record, like a hit? It feel good because pause,
- 0:43Speaker 1: it feel good because I've been rapping so long exactly.
- 0:48Speaker 1: And it's like I watched everybody like and there's no
- 0:52Speaker 1: disrespect everybody in the d that like blew up. I
- 0:56Speaker 1: kind of had like personal relationship with them, like, you
- 0:59Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, So everybody go, I watched everybody
- 1:02Speaker 1: music take off from the root, you know what I'm saying,
- 1:04Speaker 1: And I was right there with all of them and
- 1:06Speaker 1: they having me kind of feeling like maybe my music
- 1:09Speaker 1: wasn't good enough, you know what I'm saying. So you
- 1:12Speaker 1: feel good to finally be getting the recognition in that
- 1:16Speaker 1: because I've been working hard for a lot of years.
- 1:18Speaker 1: For sure. Man, you've been putting in work, yeah, putting
- 1:21Speaker 1: putting so much catalog and obviously you know the label
- 1:26Speaker 1: for Free Rio. Uh. You know, I feel like what
- 1:30Speaker 1: you've been doing and building, it's just dope to see
- 1:35Speaker 1: everybody else coming to the table now the party, I
- 1:37Speaker 1: guess you know what I mean. And I also feel
- 1:39Speaker 1: like to the timing just for Detroit's crazy right now
- 1:42Speaker 1: because you catching ahead at the same time that it
- 1:45Speaker 1: feels like every label signing somebody from Detroit. Oh yeah, Detroit.
- 1:49Speaker 1: You got Baby Face Ray, you got Ice Word Vesel,
- 1:52Speaker 1: you got Baby Baby Money, Tabe, Baby Trying, Baby Trying.
- 2:00Speaker 1: It's a list, It's a lot, a lot of them.
- 2:02Speaker 1: It's a lot, man, everybody, everybody doing good for you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: You've been a part of the scene for so long.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I know a lot of you know, your personal issues aside,
- 2:14Speaker 1: but I feel like a lot of the issues in
- 2:17Speaker 1: Detroit for the most part, have been put to rest,
- 2:19Speaker 1: and it feels as unified as I've seen it in
- 2:22Speaker 1: a while in terms of the top guys kind of
- 2:24Speaker 1: moving together. In fact, why do you think that is
- 2:28Speaker 1: everyone's kind of growing up a little or it just
- 2:31Speaker 1: feels like everyone's kind of moving in the right direction. Well,
- 2:35Speaker 1: it's two things. Nobody got hurt, you know what I'm saying,
- 2:40Speaker 1: because that's hard to come back from. Yeah, it wasn't
- 2:42Speaker 1: no blood behind our situation. And then another thing, we
- 2:45Speaker 1: are older, you know what I'm saying, and we do
- 2:47Speaker 1: old at to the city because it's like everybody wanted
- 2:50Speaker 1: to see that, you like, we want to see these
- 2:52Speaker 1: guys come together so bad, and it was just like
- 2:55Speaker 1: time for it. So as we got older and everybody
- 2:58Speaker 1: got kids, and we lost got as on our side,
- 3:00Speaker 1: they lost as on they side. Not from like each other,
- 3:04Speaker 1: but just losing happens. And it's like, man, we need
- 3:07Speaker 1: to put that bullshit to the side and just do
- 3:09Speaker 1: this for the city and make it look good. And
- 3:10Speaker 1: that's what we did, and now we actually get friends,
- 3:13Speaker 1: all of us. Now I see it. Man, it's dope
- 3:15Speaker 1: to see and it's dope to see, like, you know,
- 3:19Speaker 1: a guy like yourself have to go sit down for
- 3:21Speaker 1: a little bit and then come out and thrive at
- 3:23Speaker 1: a level higher than you've ever thrived in your career.
- 3:26Speaker 1: And on that same token, a guy like Icewear Vezzo
- 3:29Speaker 1: who had to do the same thing. And you guys,
- 3:33Speaker 1: it's just whenever I talk to artists who aren't from
- 3:36Speaker 1: Detroit and I just we just talk about hip hop's landscape.
- 3:39Speaker 1: I always tell everybody, like, I think, right now, Memphis
- 3:43Speaker 1: got that got the ship, Mphis Hot. But I do
- 3:46Speaker 1: think Detroit is on their Assphis Memphis Hot. But Detroit
- 3:50Speaker 1: you can't we in there, you know, No, It's like
- 3:52Speaker 1: for real, and and even just like the influence and
- 3:56Speaker 1: like whether it's the production or the flows, I just
- 3:59Speaker 1: feel like, but listen though, right, and that is true.
- 4:05Speaker 1: But the sound that everybody here is a Flint sound.
- 4:09Speaker 1: It's not even Detroit. You did what I'm saying, you
- 4:13Speaker 1: might hear more of a Rio and Mike or Mike sound. Yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 1: shout out to Flint. That was one of the best
- 4:19Speaker 1: funniest interviews I've ever done to Mike, shout out three.
- 4:23Speaker 1: But the sound that like it's more fast, is more funny,
- 4:26Speaker 1: is more That's really not a Detroit sound shout out
- 4:29Speaker 1: to be the pac Man facts. That's my dude. Yeah,
- 4:32Speaker 1: that's my dude. But the sound that you're all here,
- 4:35Speaker 1: like the funny the funny rap is like fast is
- 4:38Speaker 1: no like no choruses. It's really not a Detroit sound.
- 4:42Speaker 1: It's more of a flint soign like Rio and Mike
- 4:46Speaker 1: and them. It's kind of like the four or fives
- 4:47Speaker 1: of that. You know what I say. I was real
- 4:49Speaker 1: doing real excellent Rio, super straight. Rio be home soon. Yeah, dude,
- 4:52Speaker 1: do we know when he's gonna be out? And I can't.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I can't announce the date, but he'll be home soon. Yeah.
- 4:58Speaker 1: That's a hell of a what you You guys are
- 5:00Speaker 1: one two punch man. Oh man, it's crazy. Yeah, it's different.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Like me and Bro together is millions on top of millions.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Like it's got to be like you get out a
- 5:12Speaker 1: small period of time where you're out and he's out,
- 5:15Speaker 1: and then he's got to go in and then you
- 5:16Speaker 1: that you got to hit. So it's like he probably
- 5:18Speaker 1: seeing that ship from the cell like, bro, Bro, you
- 5:20Speaker 1: got one for real, Like he just sitting back and
- 5:24Speaker 1: just you know, I don't really know how to explain
- 5:27Speaker 1: it because we're so used to, like, all right, how
- 5:32Speaker 1: can I say it? Because I don't want to say
- 5:34Speaker 1: this in a way that I've been having records like
- 5:39Speaker 1: going in the streets, so like, yeah, you got the
- 5:42Speaker 1: two millions up. It feel good to me, But I
- 5:45Speaker 1: didn't allow myself to get over excited because I had
- 5:48Speaker 1: already kind of like been used to knowing how to
- 5:50Speaker 1: move with these type records. You feel what I'm saying,
- 5:52Speaker 1: So it kind of kept me like on the humble,
- 5:54Speaker 1: like so far as we I don't really know how
- 5:58Speaker 1: to explain it, like how he feel about it. For me,
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm still kind of like I don't allow myself to
- 6:03Speaker 1: get too excited about it, so we allow ourselves to
- 6:05Speaker 1: stay home and keep working the beat. I talked to
- 6:09Speaker 1: a lot of hip hop guys. I forget which rapper
- 6:11Speaker 1: I just interviewed, and they said that it was like
- 6:14Speaker 1: someone big who just said they two MILLIONAIP was your
- 6:16Speaker 1: their favorite record. I forget who the fuck it was,
- 6:18Speaker 1: but that beat is infectious. That sample is crazy. It's
- 6:22Speaker 1: crazy how I even got that beat because somebody else
- 6:25Speaker 1: was rapping on it when they sent it to me.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I guess they wanted me to hear it and put
- 6:29Speaker 1: a verse on it and whatnot. And I was like, oh,
- 6:30Speaker 1: let me get that. Wait, so it got sent to
- 6:33Speaker 1: you to be a feature facts or I think somebody
- 6:36Speaker 1: may have wanted me to hear it or put a
- 6:39Speaker 1: verse on it because they sent it to me, they
- 6:41Speaker 1: had a verse on it already, and shit, you know
- 6:43Speaker 1: what I'm saying. So when I got it in my email,
- 6:46Speaker 1: I'm like, what the fuck? You know what I'm saying.
- 6:48Speaker 1: I need that. I need that. What happened to the
- 6:51Speaker 1: guy whose verse was on it? I don't know, Damn
- 6:54Speaker 1: he probably heard that shit Like fuck yeah, he probably did. Hey,
- 6:58Speaker 1: I bet you he's getting so much. But it ain't
- 7:00Speaker 1: even that though, But you want to know why, because
- 7:04Speaker 1: anybody else could have made nobody could have made the song.
- 7:07Speaker 1: I made facts and I couldn't nobody song. So the
- 7:10Speaker 1: beat And it's the thing because I keep telling the
- 7:13Speaker 1: engineer who made the beat, because we had kind of
- 7:15Speaker 1: like class you know what I'm saying, because he had
- 7:18Speaker 1: agreed to a number and I ain't gonna say the number.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And when it when the song blew up, he ain't
- 7:24Speaker 1: want to sign off on the on the on what
- 7:26Speaker 1: he agreed on. He didn't have no team, no lawyers
- 7:30Speaker 1: or none of that ship before the song came out.
- 7:32Speaker 1: So when the song like I bid, here come a
- 7:35Speaker 1: new manager and a lawyer and all this ship. You
- 7:37Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, with the numbers and ship. But
- 7:40Speaker 1: we ended up working it out. But I'm telling him, like, bro,
- 7:43Speaker 1: you made the beat, but it was we paid this.
- 7:46Speaker 1: It was the sample on the beat, and you had
- 7:48Speaker 1: to clear the sample. Clear sample had the paper, so
- 7:51Speaker 1: you had to add, okay, some little bills and whistles
- 7:54Speaker 1: or whatever. We can't take that away from you. But
- 7:57Speaker 1: you could have gave that beat to anybody else and
- 7:59Speaker 1: they wouldn't to have been the song that I made.
- 8:01Speaker 1: You feel what I'm saying, So you can't sit up
- 8:04Speaker 1: here at like you did something that you know what
- 8:07Speaker 1: I'm trying to say. So if somebody, let's say, like
- 8:09Speaker 1: that particular guy is he kind of would you work
- 8:13Speaker 1: with him again? No, that's fair, No, I won't work
- 8:17Speaker 1: with him again. I won't. I don't like work with
- 8:19Speaker 1: I really, I want to work with like in house producers, man,
- 8:23Speaker 1: because it's tricky. It's different now. They made it so
- 8:26Speaker 1: difficult to put out music right now, it's like crazy
- 8:30Speaker 1: to where you don't even want to deal with producers
- 8:32Speaker 1: if you don't personally know you know what I'm saying, yeah,
- 8:34Speaker 1: because then yeah, now I feel you because we might
- 8:38Speaker 1: we might have a discussion in the studio and it's
- 8:40Speaker 1: one thing, and then that lawyer drops that email over.
- 8:44Speaker 1: But I ain't mad at I'm not mad at how
- 8:47Speaker 1: set up because the producers do need that money and
- 8:50Speaker 1: they credit, but how they got to set up Now
- 8:54Speaker 1: they allowing like lower level and lower level of producers
- 9:00Speaker 1: to charge like crazy numbers based based on who they
- 9:05Speaker 1: think the artist is. I think also too, like you
- 9:08Speaker 1: gotta look at like anybody, not even a producer's artists, anybody.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You gotta like people should look at things the long
- 9:14Speaker 1: play way because like, imagine if he would have just
- 9:17Speaker 1: been squared up with you and and honored his words,
- 9:20Speaker 1: like we would have did a whole album or something.
- 9:21Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Ship, we made a hit together,
- 9:23Speaker 1: Let's make some more or or or they're doing this too,
- 9:27Speaker 1: like they give you to beat this is free or
- 9:30Speaker 1: or not. But when it's time to put the record out,
- 9:32Speaker 1: they're going to arts six seventh, Like bros. You know
- 9:36Speaker 1: what I'm saying, yeah, like you've never made that much
- 9:38Speaker 1: money for being but they sending it on the invoys though,
- 9:40Speaker 1: like helping the label paid. So when the label you
- 9:43Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, like it's treaty ship, but you
- 9:45Speaker 1: still got to pay. You gotta pay for that. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:48Speaker 1: Sean be going for that ship though. I'll call then
- 9:50Speaker 1: engineer as my producer myself, like, Yo, come on, bro
- 9:53Speaker 1: right that ship coming out of my pocket. Help me out.
- 9:56Speaker 1: I'll help you out. Uh, your opinion? The best cony
- 9:59Speaker 1: I liand in Detroit. L. George is on six Mile
- 10:03Speaker 1: and and it's on the west side too, from the
- 10:07Speaker 1: east side, right, so you gotta say L. George is
- 10:09Speaker 1: on six mile and I think Schaefer. Yeah, we went
- 10:13Speaker 1: to a Bronx. In the Bronx, somebody told us to
- 10:16Speaker 1: go to a place that was by truth, it was
- 10:19Speaker 1: a drive a drive through. You're talking about a Nikki Nikki.
- 10:24Speaker 1: That ship was terrible, that's it. That ship was not good.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Right across the street at the corner, yep, on the corner.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Not it first first, literally the first Cony Island ever
- 10:32Speaker 1: went to, Like yeah, gold the corner, not it. It
- 10:35Speaker 1: just told you to go there. Maybe because you was close.
- 10:37Speaker 1: Maybe it was on eight mile, right, Yeah, that's it. Yeah,
- 10:40Speaker 1: eight mile of min I was on some real I
- 10:44Speaker 1: went to M and M's trailer park when I was
- 10:46Speaker 1: in Detroit. A lot of people want a lot of
- 10:48Speaker 1: people do that. I was like, oh, ship, I get it.
- 10:51Speaker 1: You know what's funny is like like I went to
- 10:54Speaker 1: a Tech nine concert out there and I saw the
- 11:01Speaker 1: Detroit white trash and in that moment I understood the
- 11:05Speaker 1: whole eminem thing fully because I was like, Oh, these
- 11:08Speaker 1: this is just a venue full of eminems that didn't
- 11:12Speaker 1: make it because they got their world over there. They
- 11:15Speaker 1: do don't know about it. Yeah, we just right up
- 11:17Speaker 1: a mile and we see them trailer parks, but we
- 11:19Speaker 1: don't know what's going on. And you know what I'm saying,
- 11:21Speaker 1: it's pretty crazy, man. I will say this still like
- 11:25Speaker 1: I think, uh, you know, I spent about six or
- 11:27Speaker 1: seven days out there, and I loved it man, in Detroit.
- 11:30Speaker 1: I loved it there. Detroit cool, man. I feel like,
- 11:32Speaker 1: I feel like people gotta go. That's why I like,
- 11:35Speaker 1: the most beautiful black women in the world were there too. Yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 1: we got nice women in Detroit. I don't lie. Yeah,
- 11:41Speaker 1: and everybody hustlers in Detroit first, you know what I'm saying.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Before anything, like, I know you hear about a lot
- 11:49Speaker 1: of bullshit, but niggas get money, females get money. Like
- 11:53Speaker 1: everybody is trying to get some money in Detroit, right,
- 11:56Speaker 1: and like you can go down there and do what
- 11:58Speaker 1: everyone do. Nobody ain't look for nobody, you know what
- 12:01Speaker 1: I'm saying. Yeah, dude, I had a great red blue
- 12:04Speaker 1: green like acid diamonds a spades spades. Yeahsi was there. Ai. Yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 1: we don't have fun and you chow, especially in the summertime.
- 12:14Speaker 1: You know what I loved is you betched the hustling thing.
- 12:17Speaker 1: And I've seen it. It's funny because I've seen it
- 12:19Speaker 1: since then. But I went at the liquor store on
- 12:21Speaker 1: the West Side and they were selling the empty weed
- 12:25Speaker 1: bags like the bootleg cookies bags and ship at the
- 12:28Speaker 1: gas station. I was like, damn, people going just stuffing
- 12:32Speaker 1: bullshit in these bags. Motherfuckers can't get the cali and
- 12:37Speaker 1: get bags and ship, right, but they know packages sal weed,
- 12:41Speaker 1: so if they can get them down there the gas
- 12:43Speaker 1: and why not. Yeah, So what's up, guys? Hey? Shout
- 12:46Speaker 1: out to our family at Blue cheo. Man, listen, I
- 12:49Speaker 1: know we always are getting feedback about our blue chooe interviews.
- 12:54Speaker 1: They're not interviews, yeah, they're commercials, and we're always getting
- 12:58Speaker 1: feedback about them. Usually it's they're fucking hilarious. Man. You know,
- 13:03Speaker 1: people love it when we talk about Bluechoo. But let

- 16:31Speaker 1: and and work and be bigger and better than ever? Well,
- 16:35Speaker 1: because I know I have a long time was a
- 16:37Speaker 1: couple of years, two years? Yeah, so and that two
- 16:41Speaker 1: years I'm like, shit, I'm go ahead and do what
- 16:43Speaker 1: I need to do because I know I'm everything happened
- 16:46Speaker 1: for a reason, you know what I'm saying, Even though
- 16:47Speaker 1: I went to jail for some serious ship, right Like
- 16:50Speaker 1: I went to jail for what everybody went to jail
- 16:51Speaker 1: o nwh liuto Rico. I really went to jail for that,
- 16:54Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And I know I was
- 16:56Speaker 1: in jail for serious charges, but it wasn't for long
- 16:58Speaker 1: because I didn't have a criminal record. So right and
- 17:01Speaker 1: that time, I read books like I never read. You
- 17:03Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, I left. I dropped out of
- 17:05Speaker 1: school in the eleventh grade. I didn't say I dropped
- 17:08Speaker 1: out like I dropped out of high school. Like I
- 17:09Speaker 1: dropped out in eleventh grade. I went. Circumstances at home
- 17:13Speaker 1: was kind of like rough, so I stopped going. But
- 17:16Speaker 1: I went to school up until the eleventh grade. And
- 17:19Speaker 1: what the fuck was I saying? You're talking about? You
- 17:22Speaker 1: just started to read? You were reading in jail, I
- 17:23Speaker 1: was reading. So I started back reading, writing, getting my
- 17:26Speaker 1: hand writing back, because I said, in the whole for
- 17:28Speaker 1: three months. So in that time, like I had to,
- 17:31Speaker 1: I couldn't do number right home twenty three hours a day,
- 17:34Speaker 1: twenty four hours a day in the pandemic. You know,
- 17:38Speaker 1: really facts, and you gotta sell it, mate, it's crazy.
- 17:42Speaker 1: And you're just in there with the dude in there.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Stop nah, stop, And you know how they say, you know,
- 17:48Speaker 1: two days the same, Yeah, every day, the same fuck man,
- 17:52Speaker 1: every day the same. But what you do get is
- 17:56Speaker 1: a piece of mind. You learn yourself. You sit back
- 18:00Speaker 1: and and it's quiet and and and you figure out, like,
- 18:04Speaker 1: what the fuck am I doing back here? What did I? Like?
- 18:08Speaker 1: What did I do? Like you know what I'm saying?
- 18:09Speaker 1: And you think and you figure it out like I
- 18:11Speaker 1: N I never I can, I never come back. You
- 18:14Speaker 1: end up getting closer with your something made I do. Uh,
- 18:16Speaker 1: you ain't know something funny, right, I don't know if
- 18:19Speaker 1: you know. I don't even know if you remember. Like
- 18:22Speaker 1: the guy that went viral in the pandemic for like
- 18:25Speaker 1: making the jail video and shit, yeah, he was my
- 18:28Speaker 1: salemate in there. Oh really facts, that's crazy man. When
- 18:32Speaker 1: they put me in there with him, I was like, Yo,
- 18:34Speaker 1: what the fuck they put me here with this guy? Folk?
- 18:36Speaker 1: Cause I got caught with a cell phone right and
- 18:39Speaker 1: it was weird and shit, I checked the whole room
- 18:41Speaker 1: for bugs and shit. I'm like, man, it's this they
- 18:43Speaker 1: put me here, They trying to trap me and shit.
- 18:45Speaker 1: But why he ended up being cool and shit, hella intelligent,
- 18:48Speaker 1: like reading man, got bookstacked to the Yeah, so you
- 18:53Speaker 1: able to u I you able to like kind of
- 18:55Speaker 1: readjust some here, you know, Like I mean, you really
- 18:57Speaker 1: ain't got shit else to do? But read and read, write, write,
- 19:01Speaker 1: as you know. I don't write. So when I got
- 19:05Speaker 1: in there, I'm like, I gotta write some music, at
- 19:07Speaker 1: least on a normal basis. You do punching in Yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 1: so in jail, you got books of rhymes. Now, I
- 19:13Speaker 1: wrote like forty raps in there. That's crazy, have you
- 19:17Speaker 1: that's forty songs? You recorded them? I recorded maybe ten
- 19:22Speaker 1: of them. That's that's not a bad ratio. I recorded
- 19:24Speaker 1: maybe ten. It's heating there though. I got heat in there.
- 19:27Speaker 1: I don't die, but I don't. I just don't remember
- 19:29Speaker 1: whereas that because I moved into three different cribs. You
- 19:31Speaker 1: can't write to the beat. Maybe you gotta beat in
- 19:33Speaker 1: your head. Nah. When I came home, I was making
- 19:36Speaker 1: that ship go to beats like I just had so
- 19:37Speaker 1: many of them. I'm like, whatever, go to a beat,
- 19:39Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying? Like like perk ten, I
- 19:41Speaker 1: wrote that in jail. I don't know if you know
- 19:43Speaker 1: that's perkteen. I wrote that in jail. So that's a
- 19:45Speaker 1: jail record. Yeah, I wrote that in jail. My last
- 19:48Speaker 1: intro on a Free Real album, I wrote that in jail.
- 19:54Speaker 1: A couple more of my rod and I can't think
- 19:55Speaker 1: off the head? What do you feel? Uh, you know,
- 19:58Speaker 1: obviously as somebody who was incarcerated from RICO and the
- 20:05Speaker 1: RICO stuff that's happening in hip hop obviously in Atlanta,
- 20:09Speaker 1: And it feels like that the snitching thing is a
- 20:12Speaker 1: lot more prevalent than it's ever been because paperworkers, I
- 20:16Speaker 1: guess easier to get to. I don't know, but like,
- 20:19Speaker 1: what are your thoughts on, just like how artists should
- 20:21Speaker 1: move nowadays? Not necessarily if they're officially wrapped up in anything.
- 20:26Speaker 1: But it feels like the wrong the right people are
- 20:29Speaker 1: watching and I guess they're the wrong people watching. So
- 20:32Speaker 1: it's like for you, like if you could give advice
- 20:35Speaker 1: to anybody going through a RICO, like you know, what
- 20:38Speaker 1: would what for you? Like, what would be some advice
- 20:42Speaker 1: you would give some of these artists? And how should
- 20:45Speaker 1: people move? Man? Because I feel like people move so flagrantly,
- 20:47Speaker 1: they put so much shit on the internet. If we
- 20:50Speaker 1: don't know not to cut you off. But that is
- 20:54Speaker 1: that's a serious chart, bro, Yeah, especially it's a federal one.
- 20:58Speaker 1: It is a federal chart and it's a state charge.
- 21:01Speaker 1: But it's a serious fucking charge. You know what. I'm saying,
- 21:04Speaker 1: especially especially if you've been to prison in the in
- 21:09Speaker 1: and out the system. You know what I'm saying, It's
- 21:11Speaker 1: a serious fucking charge. It's hell is stressful. I've been
- 21:15Speaker 1: through it, and I went through that ship for almost
- 21:18Speaker 1: two and a half years before I went to jail.
- 21:20Speaker 1: Me and all my Cody finished. Uh, we just live
- 21:25Speaker 1: in like a time or like everything. It's so serious,
- 21:28Speaker 1: like nobody don't want to hear lies or like bullshit.
- 21:33Speaker 1: So these guys is like ruling to throw it all
- 21:35Speaker 1: in the line for like some word ability. We'd a
- 21:39Speaker 1: situation like it works. Yeah yeah, yeah, you might go platinum,
- 21:42Speaker 1: but then you might sit down. Then you might you
- 21:45Speaker 1: might lose it all. And it's risky, you know what
- 21:47Speaker 1: I'm saying, And and and and and the question is
- 21:51Speaker 1: like is it worth it? I think the internet too
- 21:54Speaker 1: desensitizes every like we're all desensitized to like real consequences
- 21:58Speaker 1: because so many people could just do shit on the
- 22:00Speaker 1: internet and it doesn't affect them. They don't think it
- 22:02Speaker 1: affects them. And I think everybody and these charges man,
- 22:07Speaker 1: like like one of my like two of my Cody
- 22:10Speaker 1: Finers was fighting definitely, you feel me. One of my
- 22:14Speaker 1: cod de finders got thirty to sixty years plus fifteen Jesus.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Two of my cod de fins got nine years, one
- 22:21Speaker 1: of them got eight, two of us got two years.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Like you know what I'm saying, None of us are
- 22:28Speaker 1: cooperator or ding nothing like that. We all went to
- 22:31Speaker 1: court together, right, I don't speak on nobody elose cases,
- 22:35Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. I think that's kind of
- 22:37Speaker 1: like the if they bring those charges against you, they're
- 22:41Speaker 1: kind of hoping that it's like a numbers game, like
- 22:42Speaker 1: if we get twenty of these guys, like all we
- 22:44Speaker 1: need is won to fold. What it is is that
- 22:48Speaker 1: with us, it was like these guys animals. Get these
- 22:52Speaker 1: guys off the street. I wasn't even in the I
- 22:54Speaker 1: wouldn't none of them. I discovery like no paper, you
- 22:57Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. But they like shit, they all
- 23:00Speaker 1: get them all. You don't have to be doing nothing.
- 23:04Speaker 1: But if you over there, and if you've seen with
- 23:06Speaker 1: these guys, and if you known for posting these guys
- 23:09Speaker 1: on your page, our friends whatnot, you in the loop,
- 23:13Speaker 1: you feel what I'm saying. You in the loop, Nah,
- 23:16Speaker 1: don't matter what you did, because they can make him
- 23:19Speaker 1: say you did something for him to cut his time,
- 23:21Speaker 1: lose again him off he had said, you did something.
- 23:24Speaker 1: A lot of these people be on case with people
- 23:26Speaker 1: that don't even know you feel what I'm saying. Would
- 23:28Speaker 1: have been locked up with people like sixty people in
- 23:30Speaker 1: their case, they don't know half of them. That's crazy.
- 23:33Speaker 1: That's that's that's what's crazy. So I don't know what
- 23:35Speaker 1: the fuck that is serious, you know what I'm saying.
- 23:37Speaker 1: So in order to dodge these situations, you gotta start
- 23:42Speaker 1: by having fun with music, Like everybody want to kill
- 23:45Speaker 1: each other, like fuck all that, you know what I'm saying,
- 23:49Speaker 1: Like fuck all that. Like I like fly shit, like
- 23:53Speaker 1: you know, it's so fun flying somewhere and going shopping
- 23:59Speaker 1: and living in the best hotels and swimming and pools
- 24:03Speaker 1: on top of la at the Waldorf for and all.
- 24:07Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Like a lot of these
- 24:09Speaker 1: young niggas will never see that because they they're living
- 24:13Speaker 1: so serious. You gotta have some fun. That's the only
- 24:17Speaker 1: way that doge is the start back having fun and
- 24:20Speaker 1: also the dodge like like that gives you some peace.
- 24:23Speaker 1: Just have fun, like come on, man, like I feel
- 24:25Speaker 1: like everybody's trying to prove something. A lot of shit
- 24:27Speaker 1: can't be taken back in the street. And I get it,
- 24:30Speaker 1: like you know what I'm saying, But it's it used
- 24:31Speaker 1: to be a time and a place for ship, like
- 24:33Speaker 1: the Internet ain't for it's not for that. Like they
- 24:36Speaker 1: brun the they brung that ship there, and it's fucking
- 24:40Speaker 1: the game up. It's really fucking the game up. And
- 24:43Speaker 1: we all did it. We all made mistakes like nobody perfect.
- 24:46Speaker 1: You know, of course, everybody got caught up in the
- 24:49Speaker 1: moment and did some Internet ship, you know what I'm saying.
- 24:52Speaker 1: But us as a whole, we fucking the game bringing
- 24:58Speaker 1: the street ship to the Internet for you, making it
- 25:02Speaker 1: so easy for them and then not to cut you off.
- 25:04Speaker 1: But when these niggas get these reco charges, a lot
- 25:08Speaker 1: of them never had money, you feel what I'm saying,
- 25:13Speaker 1: a lot of these niggas don't got nothing when they
- 25:14Speaker 1: go to jail. But they ride around these guns and
- 25:18Speaker 1: these cars, do this hot shit, and they go to
- 25:19Speaker 1: jail and then they don't got nothing. You know what
- 25:23Speaker 1: I'm saying. I haven't seen niggas, No, I see it
- 25:27Speaker 1: all the time, man, even like people who aren't artists,
- 25:29Speaker 1: just like people get some money. So when you do
- 25:32Speaker 1: get these charges, you don't got to be calling home
- 25:34Speaker 1: talking about man niggas, fake niggas. I ain't never call
- 25:38Speaker 1: a nigga call home for shit. When I was in jail,
- 25:40Speaker 1: I had my money put up, I had my shit
- 25:42Speaker 1: put in places, and I had to trustworthy people who
- 25:46Speaker 1: I knew was gonna move for me. I ain't had
- 25:48Speaker 1: to call home nobody but shit. So whatever I was
- 25:50Speaker 1: already doing, I can stand it. I can get in trouble.
- 25:53Speaker 1: I can get myself out of it if I my
- 25:55Speaker 1: lawyer money. And I ain't never had to call home.
- 25:58Speaker 1: So these niggas get into trouble and they don't got
- 26:02Speaker 1: no money, it's bad for sure. Susmissive in jail. What's
- 26:08Speaker 1: up y'all? Bootleg keV here, Hey, look my bookie. Man.

- 27:50Speaker 1: experience at Hardan is like nowhere else. The customer service,
- 27:55Speaker 1: the selection of premium cannabis, the experience is a customer
- 27:59Speaker 1: that you get when you walk into the building in

- 28:20Speaker 1: follow on Instagram while you're at it. Go to the
- 28:23Speaker 1: website Hardeinlasvegas dot Com. So much fly gear, so much flyweed.
- 28:27Speaker 1: What are we talking about? Baby? Shout out to Hardean. Man,
- 28:30Speaker 1: that's the family. Man. Go if you're in Vegas, pull
- 28:32Speaker 1: up on them Man, Hardean, Las Vegas have I mean,
- 28:36Speaker 1: obviously there's a huge disconnect from like, uh, when I
- 28:41Speaker 1: was growing up, the Detroit hip hop that I was
- 28:44Speaker 1: listening to, it was like Jay Dilla, Eminem Royce, slum Village,
- 28:51Speaker 1: you know, and I felt like the street shit have
- 28:56Speaker 1: the first kind of like national time that like real
- 29:00Speaker 1: dope ill street ship from Detroit hit my radar was
- 29:02Speaker 1: Dope wost cash out with when they signed with CTE
- 29:06Speaker 1: and and then I kind of feel like first day
- 29:11Speaker 1: Out kind of like busted the gate open for that
- 29:15Speaker 1: genre of Detroit hip hop nationally. How do you see
- 29:19Speaker 1: like Detroit hip hop landscape? Like if you could give
- 29:22Speaker 1: me like the top, give me like your your mount
- 29:26Speaker 1: rushmore Detroit hip hop because it's so many different there's
- 29:29Speaker 1: just so many different layers of Detroit's scene. Damn, damn,
- 29:39Speaker 1: that's crazy. Nobody never asked me this, excluding yourself. You
- 29:44Speaker 1: can't say you that's true. You can't, Okay, you can't
- 29:48Speaker 1: say you all right, but even if I if I
- 29:54Speaker 1: only say me, it's all right. First and foremost, Blade, okay, rest,
- 30:00Speaker 1: this is peace Street or wine okay, Eminem mm hmm,
- 30:09Speaker 1: Pyro Giovanni mm hmm. One more, I need to more. Okay,
- 30:16Speaker 1: give me two more ice wear, Vessel and baby fans.
- 30:20Speaker 1: I like that. I like that you you kind of
- 30:23Speaker 1: covered all spectrums. Shot a little blade too. Who's doing uh? Okay?
- 30:30Speaker 1: So for you, do you feel any pressure to follow up?
- 30:34Speaker 1: You just gonna keep dropping. I just do me, bro
- 30:36Speaker 1: do you because that's what you do. Don't be in
- 30:38Speaker 1: the like people make detrait listens and ship. I don't
- 30:40Speaker 1: get involved in it. Like I don't comment on it
- 30:43Speaker 1: because it's like they do that ship to like make
- 30:45Speaker 1: fans picking too. I just do. I'll just go put music.
- 30:49Speaker 1: I'll be happy for everybody care about it. Well, you've
- 30:52Speaker 1: always like stayed independent and been rocking with Empire and
- 30:54Speaker 1: like you know, obviously shot to Gazi, shot to Nima
- 30:56Speaker 1: and the team over there. I'm assuming you've had such
- 31:00Speaker 1: situations that have come up where one of the quote
- 31:03Speaker 1: unquote majors has tried to get you to kind of
- 31:05Speaker 1: sign your fucking life away and sign the catalog away. Fact, well,
- 31:09Speaker 1: nobody really never came to me like that, really not
- 31:13Speaker 1: even now. No, don't be coming at me like that.
- 31:16Speaker 1: I guess I got the aura of just like the
- 31:18Speaker 1: like we won't waste he's an independent. Yeah, you can't,
- 31:21Speaker 1: like you know what I'm saying, because nobody really never
- 31:24Speaker 1: tried to like come at me in that time. I
- 31:25Speaker 1: wasn't to say like kind of just speak to like
- 31:28Speaker 1: what you've learned from working with Gazi, Well, I learned
- 31:31Speaker 1: to be in this from Bump on my head. I
- 31:34Speaker 1: learned a lot about this game, like a lot of
- 31:37Speaker 1: ends and all shit about this game too, where I
- 31:39Speaker 1: probably won what I'm saying, right, you know what I'm saying.
- 31:43Speaker 1: It's a lot of money in this game. If you
- 31:45Speaker 1: can hold steal it should like stop build up your leverage. Yeah,
- 31:49Speaker 1: it is like stock. Right, It's almost like that's why
- 31:51Speaker 1: I think it's important to like have like a high
- 31:53Speaker 1: output and it's important to build Joe catalog like shout
- 31:56Speaker 1: out the Sauce Worker, because he was saying, like every
- 31:59Speaker 1: song is a proper You're right, because every song stream
- 32:02Speaker 1: and every song make money. So I'm going to hit
- 32:04Speaker 1: your count every month, don't make don't catch a hit yep,
- 32:07Speaker 1: because then that's two three hits. Yeah, you feel what
- 32:09Speaker 1: I'm saying. So it's just about holding still, like not
- 32:11Speaker 1: selling out, you know what I'm saying, and me learning
- 32:14Speaker 1: that when it's time for me to like go and renegotiate,
- 32:19Speaker 1: it's going We're gonna have to really renegotiate, you know
- 32:22Speaker 1: what I'm saying. Fact for sure? Man, Well listen, it
- 32:25Speaker 1: is super Bowl. We can wearing Arizona. You got a
- 32:27Speaker 1: show tonight. Yeah, I got a show tonight. I mean
- 32:30Speaker 1: I got my ship going on tonight. We got to
- 32:33Speaker 1: sit down and do this for like two hours in
- 32:34Speaker 1: La whenever you're ready. Bro. We don't do a lot
- 32:36Speaker 1: of interviews. I don't do a lot of interviews, but
- 32:38Speaker 1: but you want to know, I want to start kicking it.
- 32:40Speaker 1: I want to start kicking it because I want to
- 32:42Speaker 1: trust me. I was in Detroit and like the main
- 32:44Speaker 1: purpose of me going to Detroit was to record content
- 32:46Speaker 1: with you. But I don't know what the fuck was
- 32:48Speaker 1: going on at the time. Detroit, crazy whatever it was.
- 32:52Speaker 1: It was like, Yo, P's he's not He's not doing
- 32:53Speaker 1: nothing this week. I was like, well, shit, let me
- 32:55Speaker 1: figure some shit out, and it was it cold Now
- 33:00Speaker 1: it was really it wasn't It was in Uh, it
- 33:03Speaker 1: was during the playoffs. It was after. It was Game
- 33:05Speaker 1: seven when the Mavericks destroyed my Phoenix Suns and I
- 33:07Speaker 1: lost a thousand dollars at the MGM at fucking in Detroit.
- 33:10Speaker 1: I forget. So what was that June July? Yeah, what
- 33:13Speaker 1: I could have been doing? Brother, But you do mushrooms? Yes? Nice.
- 33:19Speaker 1: I think someone said you were shrewman that week. I
- 33:21Speaker 1: could have been strooming that week. That might have been
- 33:23Speaker 1: a week. Yeah, they were like, he ate a lot
- 33:26Speaker 1: of mushrooms, He's not available. I was rooming for a
- 33:29Speaker 1: week bad. It might have been that week. Fact probably
- 33:33Speaker 1: did you Were you having bad trips or good trips?
- 33:35Speaker 1: I had good trips, but one trip I had what's
- 33:38Speaker 1: the fucked up trip? Explained? It wasn't even really a
- 33:40Speaker 1: bad trip. It was just like me and my girl
- 33:42Speaker 1: got into it. While you're tripping, real bad, damn real bad.
- 33:47Speaker 1: I tore the whole house up. I broke everything in
- 33:50Speaker 1: that business, and I was like, damn, I gotta go
- 33:51Speaker 1: about all this shit again. I actually think that's when
- 33:54Speaker 1: I was there. That's when you was there. I think
- 33:57Speaker 1: I heard about it. That's when I sucked up everything.
- 34:00Speaker 1: So you was just fucking wild. And I had a
- 34:02Speaker 1: good time off the shrooms before I got home, right,
- 34:04Speaker 1: I had a great time before I got home. The
- 34:06Speaker 1: worst part about shrooms is like if something, if you
- 34:08Speaker 1: could be feeling great and like I've had my girl
- 34:12Speaker 1: press me while I'm tripping out of town and it
- 34:16Speaker 1: just like melts my brain and just make me talk
- 34:19Speaker 1: too much and make me cry too much. That's what.
- 34:21Speaker 1: They definitely don't make you cry. What do you cry? Like?
- 34:23Speaker 1: What is it? Because you just think you think about
- 34:25Speaker 1: everything and it just I'm just like, I'm emotion of them.
- 34:28Speaker 1: I'm a scirpyough yeah, you know what I'm saying. So
- 34:30Speaker 1: I don't really I don't really cry a lot, but
- 34:33Speaker 1: I do cry, like you know what I'm saying. So
- 34:35Speaker 1: if I get off the mushroom and I get emotional,
- 34:37Speaker 1: I'm gonna let that shit out. Have you ever done?
- 34:39Speaker 1: I might be talking to one of my peoples and
- 34:40Speaker 1: just break down. I just saw one of my friends,
- 34:45Speaker 1: baby Joe. I ain't seen him in a while, and
- 34:47Speaker 1: I was on mushrooms and I just looked at him
- 34:48Speaker 1: and I started crying. I was like, I fucking love you, bro. Yeah,
- 34:51Speaker 1: I want you to know, like I really love you
- 34:53Speaker 1: when I say that, shit dog, they make you so happy,
- 34:55Speaker 1: like they make you nice hate people. Have you smoked
- 34:58Speaker 1: a d MT? I don't smoke on What is that? Oh? Man,
- 35:01Speaker 1: you gotta fuck with that. That's that ship. Mike Tyson
- 35:03Speaker 1: and Joe Rogan be doing. See Mike Tyson get too high.
- 35:07Speaker 1: Mike Tyson a real stone, right, Mike Tyson booked three. Yeah,
- 35:11Speaker 1: you gotta go on history like Tyson. The dopest DMT
- 35:15Speaker 1: is like a It's like a chemical that your body
- 35:17Speaker 1: produces twice. There's like a gland right here and produces
- 35:22Speaker 1: it when you're born and when you're dead, when you die.
- 35:25Speaker 1: So there's smoke that. There's a frog that sweats it.
- 35:29Speaker 1: So you you smoke it in the like it's crack headish, right, fat.
- 35:37Speaker 1: So you have to freebase it to get the best experience, right,
- 35:42Speaker 1: and you just go away for fifteen minutes and you're
- 35:45Speaker 1: going You're in like a different dimension. What kind of
- 35:47Speaker 1: experience you had? I haven't done it. Yeah, I'm scared,
- 35:51Speaker 1: I do badly. I will. I will do it one day,
- 35:53Speaker 1: I'll be ready. You've done it. Oh yeah, you just
- 35:56Speaker 1: you liked it? Oh, man? And I see so I
- 36:01Speaker 1: had burned on whippets like that whips. Oh no, whippets
- 36:03Speaker 1: are crazy, Jesus. I was the first person doing the
- 36:06Speaker 1: whips in the drink. Did you stop? Yeah? Just I
- 36:11Speaker 1: couldn't breathe, like I smashed curves off this like that
- 36:14Speaker 1: ship was so the whippets are like because I've had
- 36:17Speaker 1: rappers come in with those boxes of whippets. Yo, I
- 36:21Speaker 1: had rappers come in with the boxes of the whippets.
- 36:24Speaker 1: And right before that, I mean I'm talking canisters just
- 36:27Speaker 1: all over the ground. That was you, that was me. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:31Speaker 1: what that is because it's a quick it's like quick
- 36:33Speaker 1: and it goes away. So you got to get get there. Man.
- 36:36Speaker 1: I remember one day I went to drop my man's
- 36:40Speaker 1: off at home. I dropped them off to the crib
- 36:42Speaker 1: and I never left the creer like he went in.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I never pulled off. I stayed this, man, I was
- 36:50Speaker 1: all night. There was so many steever cans. I was
- 36:52Speaker 1: saying in the morning, it was crazy. What made you stop? Man?
- 36:57Speaker 1: Because they I couldn't. They was like fucking my breathing up.
- 36:59Speaker 1: I couldn't form, I couldn't really perform myfuck me, and
- 37:02Speaker 1: this shit was just like stupid. Man, Yes, it's like
- 37:04Speaker 1: it's like a nineteen nineties, two thousand and one drug.
- 37:08Speaker 1: So I used to ride around with the tank though,
- 37:10Speaker 1: with the balloons and shit, holy shit, my escalator over, Like, yeah,
- 37:15Speaker 1: you don't have a party business, you know. I never
- 37:16Speaker 1: knew that that shit was illegal. I never knew that. Like,
- 37:20Speaker 1: nobody never told me, like you can't ride around with
- 37:22Speaker 1: a tank of helium and your girl. I didn't know
- 37:24Speaker 1: that either. Well, hey, guys, you you learned a lot
- 37:26Speaker 1: in this interview. I never knew that. I swear, I said, boy,
- 37:30Speaker 1: if you would have got caught with this, you'd be fucked.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Fuck man, Well, allegedly you had it in your car. Yeah,
- 37:36Speaker 1: Pz's in the building. Appreciate you for pulling up. Man.
- 37:39Speaker 1: I't aford to doing this again in La at my place.
- 37:42Speaker 1: I'm coming to La Man, Los Angeles. We'll be there.
