Welcome to Nate's daily wager. I ain't picking winners, but I
• 0:10
am making wagers. Time to put my money where my
• 0:13
mouth is. This is Nate's daily wager for
• 0:20
March 20th, 2026, and man, what a day.
• 0:25
What a day to start March Madness.
• 0:28
Just some great games, some big upsets, people's busted brackets
• 0:32
are all over the place. Meanwhile, Sheila in accounting,
• 0:36
her brackets looking fantastic, just somehow always ends up that
• 0:40
way. But the important thing is we
• 0:42
want our bed on here. We're streaking pretty well,
• 0:44
keeping it going. We're going to see if we can
• 0:46
  keep that momentum pushing forward.
• 0:48
So today I'm looking at an 8-9 matchup all right, we got Utah
• 0:53
State and Villanova, we got the Aggies taking on the Wildcats, 2
• 0:58
very original names, especially at the college level.
• 1:01
So I was taking a look at these guys again, looking at the
• 1:04
numbers as I've been doing, again, I don't know any of these
• 1:07
players, but I can look at numbers, I can look at history.
• 1:11
I can hopefully predict how I think things are going to go
• 1:14
down, right. So far, the formula, the
• 1:17
algorithm, the inputs and outputs have been doing what
• 1:21
they're supposed to be doing and the results have been producing
• 1:24
positive numbers for us. So sticking to that, looking at
• 1:27
the numbers, Utah State, again, a top true field goal percentage
• 1:32
team over 100 places better than Villanova.
• 1:36
So I figure, well, that's where I got to go.
• 1:39
Then I look at the spread, it's -1 1/2 for Utah State.
• 1:42
I can live with that. I think they're going to win
• 1:44
outright. It's going to be a close game,
• 1:46
but a basically half point hook. I can live with it, right,
• 1:49
Because I figure they're going to win, hopefully they'll win by
• 1:51
  two. That's where we're at.
• 1:52
So that's where we're going. So we're going.
• 1:54
Utah State -1 1/2 against Villanova in today's NCAA men's
• 2:00
college March Madness basketball tournament action.
• 2:04
Is there anything better than that?
• 2:05
Found it. That's my pick and I'm sticking
• 2:07
  to it. Rolling.
